It was busy, however, we weren’t turned away we were offered the garden which we took as it was a nice evening. The menus looked a little pricey but we were hungry and when the food arrived it was clear this was going to be an excellent meal. Thoughtful staff then came out to let us know that a table had become free inside as it was getting chilly so we had our main course inside. I think this was one of the best meals we have ever had at a pub. The menu was not large but this often means the food will be better and it was absolutely superb and worth every penny we paid.
