(원문) I normally have a really good experience at trinity kitchen but today I decided to try a new food truck they have called ‘Asian heat Mexican Street’ and I ordered the birria ramen. When the bowl initially came out it looked pretty good and I let it sit for around 2 minutes whilst it cooled down a bit because their food is all extremely fresh. However when it came to eating it I found there was no broth under the noodles despite it being on the menu description, the meat was dry and there was barely even any meat just fat leaves of bok Choi and an excess of noodles. They were dry and sticky and I ultimately couldn’t eat it as I literally got given plain noodles with no flavour. The service was lovely however and the workers were so nice so all they need to work on is their menu items. The jerk chicken is to die for and prepared fresh right off the grill. Some of the best I’ve had and on the mild side which is excellent if you have a spice-intolerant spouse like me! The rice is great and dressed in their curry sauce so it’s really rich and flavourful and truly to die for. The plantain is perfectly soft and caramelised and even the salad is thoughtfully prepared and fresh. They also have two house sauces, the spicy pepper sauce and the mango(?) mayo. I get the mayo on my salad and the spicy pepper in a corner of the rice. Even with my modest spice tolerance it’s quite fiery so I’m not brave enough to have it anywhere else just yet! There's a small gym, bar and decent food. The breakfast is really good in my opinion - most of it is not great but all in all its great for me. Loads of variety and you can take what you want and go back for more. English breakfast or continental with a decent selection for both. The coffee is poor though and the only water has lemon and is in reception, wouldn't hurt to have a bottle in the room or a machine or two on each floor. Service is good and I've stayed here before with work and would stay here again- although we get a discounted rate and I wouldn't pay £200+ for a room as is sometimes advertised. Location wise it's super close to the station and only a short walk to the main food/drink/shopping area, but there's lots of places over the road too now. We needed a place to stay and we paid in advance and didn't have the energy to complain at the end of a long day. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but the staff could certainly find jobs in high end hotels as they were so warm and kind and lovely.
