Stragan Kawiarnia started as a coffee spot in a shopping mall in Poznan in 2011 and has now evolved into a standalone cafe with a modern interior and top-notch equipment. The cafe features a beautiful Victoria Arduino Black Eagle coffee machine, Mahlkonig and Nuova Simonelli grinders, and a long brew bar where skilled baristas craft drip or AeroPress coffee.
Fantastic café! The staff were attentive and energetic. The specialty coffee was amazing, the Aeropress was prepared perfectly.
The standout however was the massive bagels, enough to fill you up for the day. They're made fresh with high-quality ingredients that are packed with flavour.
Can't recommend this spot enough as a great way to start your day.

Lots of sunlight in the cafe made it great place to visit in the morning. I had coffee and bagel, and sandwiches. They were fresh!

I spent a month in Poznan, and the lovely ladies at this cafe kept me caffeinated the whole time. Friendly smiles, beautiful flat whites, and tasty bagels - what more could you ask for?
Popped in early one morning (a lot of places nearer the Old Town Square don’t open until 10am and this opens at 8am) to get a latte to go and it was great. Next time I’d double up on the espresso but the latte was great even without that. Would recommend :)

Ratuszova Restauracja & Apartamenty A.D. 1954 is a refined restaurant located in a Renaissance tenement house in the historical heart of Poznan. The interiors are adorned with magnificent frescos and elaborate murals, creating an atmosphere akin to dining in a palace. The menu features traditional Polish dishes, such as prime sirloin tartare and duck baked with apples.
This was the best restaurant meal we have enjoyed in many years. It truly was exceptional!
We had travelled to Poznan for a 4 night break with our friends. As it was their 31st wedding anniversary on our second night we decided that we wanted a special meal. A UK based friend who is originally from Poznan recommended the RATUSZOVA Restaurant.
We were not disappointed!
The food was interesting, visually stunning, beautifully cooked and so so tasty.
Honestly, my steak melted in my mouth.
Our waitress was sensitive, attentive and helped to make this an amazing 5 star experience!
Our meal cost us 1300 zloty in total: the equivalent of £65/€70 each person!
It was truly a bargain at that price!
I don’t think Poznan can offer a better dining experience!

Great location and friendly staff. We had the lunch offer for 49 zl pp, which was well composed with a good soup as a starter and to main course we got duck. Heated plates to the main course and an amuse-bouche to start with, shows they care about the guests.
Location was great! Easy check in, but keep in mind that you will be getting your check in at the restaurant, if you get there after hours, you’ll not be able to do so. Also these are historical buildings, meaning no elevator.
Comfortable bed, regular in room amenities.
Highly recommend.
We stayed in one of the apartments for 2 nights and ate the restaurant twice. Both were superb!

Apartment #1: Wow! Massive and modern with 2 rooms and a big bathroom. Overlooking the square but quiet at night. Strong air conditioning. We loved it and would highly recommend it.
Nice apartament, I’d recommend it — but breakfast was a bit of a letdown. It came in a takeaway basket, all cold, and no coffee. There was an omelette meant to be heated in the microwave, but I don’t like microwave meals.
Great restaurant with great views to the main square at medieval Poznan, great vibe and great food. We asked the waitress for recommendations and everything was tasty. She also was very friendly and polite. The prices are a bit higher but I’d say it’s worth it..
We had the most delicious meal at Ratuszova during our holiday in Poznan! It was so good we returned again two days later -- the food, the service, and the ambiance are unmatched. Don't miss this beautiful restaurant!

Ptasie Radio is a charming country-chic restaurant located near the Imperial Castle, set inside an old Art Nouveau tenement house. The decor is inspired by the famous Polish poet Julian Tuwim and features three bird-themed rooms. Despite its bold design, the restaurant is considered one of the prettiest places to dine. It offers traditional dishes, breakfast, homemade cakes, and wine at pocket-friendly prices.
We had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We liked the decor and it seems like it’s a very trendy place, so try to make an appointment ahead of time.

I found this restaurant by chance on my first day in Poznań and came back every following day. The food is amazing (and well priced), I especially liked the duck filet! The atmosphere is also nice and the service is on point with a friendly staff. If you pass by, make sure to try their beer out!
Such a charming restaurant with a fun bird theme throughout the place. I had pierogi and a great Polish beer, served by the super friendly staff. You can enjoy a proper, high-quality meal here (prices are very reasonable!) or just meet friends for a relaxed chat in a cozy setting. Definitely a spot I’d love to come back to!
The sorrel soup here is one of the best soups I have ever eaten in my life. I have not yet finished eating it but I have to rave about it here before I forget. So amazing!

Cozy atmosphere, warm lights and jazz music. Is perfect for everybody. The waitress serving me was very polite and patient with the fact I speak no polish at all. No matter what she served me with a smiley and friendly attitude. Coffee is nice, they have oat milk as plant base option. Had a hazelnut cheesecake. Really nice. Inna Piekarnia is a popular bakery with two locations in Poznan, one at Ratajczaka and the other at Plac Bernardynski. The Ratajczaka branch is larger and offers breakfast as well. Chef Artur Skotarczyk recommends this artisanal bakery for its wide selection of sweet pastries and savory baked goods. Visitors can enjoy a variety of delicious treats, including croissants and cookies, along with unique coffee options.
To be honest, we arrived at this bakery in November. Coffee was not bad on ordinary milk, but I think that bakery, especially cookie 🍪 cost a too much for his flavour.

Incredible pastries and coffee! The best pastries we had in Poznan, flaky croissants and incredible bread. The coffee was delicious as well. You can ask for a croissant that comes with butter and jam and then order a loaf of bread and enjoy that with the butter and jam as well. We had one of their pastries with mozzarella and tomato jam that was delicious. A must when in Poznan!
It is a renowned bakery and café in Poznań, celebrated for its handcrafted pastries and traditional baking methods. We had sandwiches for breakfast. Delicious pastries. Coffee cups are all used as recycled from coffee beans, a perfect sustainability.
After a morning stroll we popped in here for breakfast. A good selection of breakfast eggs etc. Paulicarus had an interesting 2 poached egg dish with a tomato based sauce on top, grated cheese and a baguette on the side. Tastey. Booth had a salami roll. I drank good coffee. Lots of cakes on display. A relaxing spot.
I took a regular butter croissant, ten rogal and a tea. Everything was really tasty, the croissant near the quality of a good French bakery. I also took a French baguette before leaving, probably the best I've had in Poznań yet. I definitely recommend and will gladly come back!

Great patisserie and greater coffee. The service was also great, except for one of the male staff that was very unprofessional with us, he didn't want to fix a wrong order due to a misscomunication with the cashier.
In the end, the male staff went away and the cashier helped us and fixed the order without issues nor added costs for the shop.
Lovely French style bakery in Poznan. Normally, I try to search for regional treats when I travel, but the pastries are good (albeit a bit different from authentic French). Service is lovely. Definitely worth a visit

Asparagus and sausage scrambled eggs are delicious，English breakfast and omelettes are also delicious，I like their lavenda tea the most. The only downside is that the pork ribs are too small, only 4 pieces But overall I liked it and ate it ten times🥰

Absolutely amazing place, even though it’s a bit on the expensive side. It was always full and there were constant lines, but we still received excellent service and truly delicious food. Everything was great – for me, the best spot for breakfast. The only downside is that there’s just one restroom, which was always occupied, so I couldn’t get in when I needed.
Myself and my two best friends spend a night in Poznan on our way back from holidays, and it was important to us to find a fab place for our last breakfast together. And oh my goodness Lawenda did not disappoint! Charming little cafe just of the main square in the city centre, with incredible food and cool atmosphere. Menu is versatile and food arriving is not only beautifully presented, but it is fresh and absolutely delicious! If everyone in Poznań wants to have breakfast at Lavenda Cafe and Brunch, there must be a reason—or so I thought. So we showed up at 8 a.m., and it was already full. We had an excellent meal. I recommend the toast and scrambled eggs. The staff was friendly and spoke good English.

My recent visit to Cucina 88 was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, the ambience enveloped me in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It struck the perfect balance, being neither too crowded nor too deserted, which added to the overall pleasant dining experience.
The food here deserves a special mention for its absolute deliciousness. Every dish we ordered was a testament to the chef's expertise, with flavors that were rich and perfectly balanced. The highlight for me was not just the taste, but also witnessing the culinary artistry firsthand. The open kitchen layout allowed us to watch the staff meticulously preparing our meals, which spoke volumes about their confidence in their cleanliness and skill.
Speaking of cleanliness, the restrooms were immaculate, echoing the old adage that clean toilets reflect a clean kitchen - a reassuring sign for any diner. This attention to detail extended to the service as well. The staff was exceptionally attentive and helpful, navigating the fine line between being present when needed and giving us our space, making us feel both valued and comfortable.
In summary, my experience at Cucina 88 was profoundly satisfying. The food, ambience, and service were all top-notch, executed with professionalism that made our visit memorable. I am/we are (we were unanimous in that matter) absolutely delighted. I can't point what was the best that evening? The little surprise to open our taste pallets from chef? The atmosphere that even knowing we are in top restaurant we didn't feel like we don't belong there? The service was excellent!!! The lady explained every single dish for us. I could almost see the fisherman on boats with the sea food, the rabbit jumping in green grass and more....
The taste, the colours, the execution of every dish, the smile of waitress.....everything was top notch.
Whether you going on date or with your family, this is the place you go to treat yourself.

Cucina 88 was very good. We were there on a day the head chef wasn't there, and we could tell; nevertheless, a very good experience. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The pours were generous, the additional oyster starter excellent. I'd be happy to go back again.

Great food, good service even if something goes wrong they do their best to fix it fair prices. The pumkin soup with chestnuts was amazing. Presentation, quality and taste is definetly 5 stars.

If you are looking for an interesting, relaxed and comfortable place to have a meal, MO.BAR / Poznań is definitely worth trying out. The burgers are especially delicious and the prices very reasonable. Plus, the service is excellent - always friendly and helpful.
If you ever happen to be in Poznan, Poland do not miss a chance to visit "Mo.Bar" - a real hidden gem, located 5 minutes away from the bustling Poznań - Stary Rynek on a quiet, little road.
The ambience is nice and subtle, making the place interesting for all kinds of meetings - whether it is with family, friends or colleagues. It also is a great chance to either enjoy a cocktail in the evening or have a light lunch or brunch or visit them for coffee and dessert.
The interior is beautiful and nicely decorated. The tables, even though located next to one another, still create an image that you are to yourself. You can take lots of nice photos inside ;)
The service is hospitable and welcoming and the prices are absolutely affordable and reasonable for the quality you get.

Whenever one is in Poland, trying the duck is a must, especially bearing in mind that the Polish are excellent at preparing it. So it was no wonder that the duck leg I ordered at "Mo.Bar" was tender and melting in my mouth. The duck leg came with homemade dumplings, cabbage with pistachios and ratatouille jam. Everything was just in its place and there was a nice hint of various tastes and textures. The cabbage was excellent, bearing in mind, that cabbage can be easily overcooked and this one was exactly as it should have been. The crunchiness of Pistachios was a very nice little touch and the edible flowers and micro-herbs united the whole dish. But what surprised me most was "Sticky Toffee Pudding" which is my personal favourite among the desserts and I can proudly say that the Sticky Toffee Pudding they serve at "Mo.Bar" is one of the best I have ever tried. The gorgeous, rich and delightful sticky toffee pudding with homemade sticky toffee sauce and served with ice cream is an ultimate delight, but the ideally caramelised banana which came with this one added another level to this dessert. The vanilla ice-cream was neutralise the sweetness of the sponge cake and the toffee and the banana and it is one of the desserts for which I will definitely go back to Poznan !

If you’re looking for a place in Poznań that combines great food, a cozy yet stylish interior, and well-crafted drinks, MO. Bar is definitely worth checking out. From the moment you step in, the warm atmosphere and aesthetically pleasing design make you feel right at home. Comfortable chairs, thoughtfully arranged tables, and a welcoming staff - all contribute to a great dining experience. I started with French fries with prawns and aioli sauce, and honestly, they were amazing! Perfectly crispy, golden, and reminding me of the best Belgian fries. A must-try combo! Then came the burger with beef, which was just on point - juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a proper burger. And, of course, I couldn’t leave without trying their Sticky Toffee Pudding - a dessert that fully lives up to its reputation. Rich, warm, and indulgent, the perfect sweet ending. For drinks, I went for a *star Martini, and it did not disappoint - fruity, well-balanced, and really enjoyable. To top it off, I had a latte (big size!), which was smooth, creamy, and just what I needed. MO. Bar nails it with both the vibe and the menu. Whether you’re in for drinks, a casual dinner, or just a coffee break, this place is a solid choice. Highly recommend!

I was honestly surprised—in the best way! MO Bar offers a really nice lunch option with a full course of meals included.
We had tartare and chicken, and both were amazing. The tartare isn’t something I usually go for, but it was really impressive. The chicken came with sausages and beans—like a comforting homemade dish, but with a refined restaurant twist. Overall, the food was great and the price was very reasonable.
The only surprise? The zero-alcohol beer I ordered cost almost as much as the whole meal. Still worth it, but unexpected!

The pulled pork burgers are amazing and the fries with various toppings were delicious. We liked their asparagus menu too which were something unique here. We will definitely return. They also had one dessert choice which was my favourite and probably the best sticky toffee I have ever tasted! The atmosphere was great too.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the setting was very pleasant - the restaurant looks out onto the square and it is very picturesque.
The food was a bit mixed - we had some excellent spring rolls and the beef burger was really good, but the bap were very disappointing - dry and heavy on cabbage.
I had pumpkin soup, which I can't fault - nicely presented, good consistency and tasty.
HOWEVER, when I ordered, the waitress said "just the soup, OR what about the beef cheek with ..... " and went through the other ingredients to upsell - which with afterthought I find quite ignorant. Firstly to upsell something more than twice as expensive as the item ordered, and, having ordered pumpkin soup, the waitress didn't even consider that I might be vegetarian, and didn't ask before launching into the meaty upsell. I understand up selling - asking if I wanted bread, or after eating the soup, asking if I wanted dessert - but this wasn't asked. Seems a completed lack of interest in customer experience and more about making as much money as possible. Wouldn't go back.

I visited Republika Róż by Andrzej Gołąbek in Poznań after a friend highly recommended it — and I’m so glad I listened. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, with cozy indoor seating across two floors and lovely outdoor tables as well. We found a quiet corner inside, and the warm décor instantly made us feel at home.
I ordered the pork tomahawk, and honestly... it was unforgettable. The portion was generous, the flavour was incredible — and it brought actual tears to my eyes. It tasted exactly like the one someone very special used to make for me, someone I’ve recently lost. That emotional connection made the experience even more meaningful.
Their wine selection is also excellent — thoughtful and extensive. This wasn’t just a meal, it was a moment I’ll remember for a long time. More than 5 stars. Highly, highly recommend.
Food is very good, service is ok if inattentive, but their version of a 150ml wine pour is a rip-off: it's more like 80ml (my partner got a 330ml cider poured into the same kind of wine glass I got, and a fourth of his bottle equaled my "150ml" pour. When I asked the waitress she just turned up her nose.)

We came here for breakfast just after arriving in Poznan, and enjoyed the food so much that we returned the next two days! Interesting, modern fusion flavors in a cozy atmosphere and some of the best coffee I've had. The servers were friendly, attentive and spoke English well, and they also have an English menu.
Very nice restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The food is delicious. It is located right across the street from the Imperial Castle. Outside tables are available. Make sure you make a reservation, especially for breakfast, it gets full fairly quickly. We came for a second time and were not as joyous this time around. A word of advice, more than 1 sugar packet should be offered with every hot drink and a hot latte macchiato should not be served in a glass without a handle. That’s just my personal opinion. The food was once again very delicious, so no complaints there. Came back a third time and tried the ciabatta z burratą, it was good. Scrambled eggs are tasty. The healthy options for lunch are delicious.

Inside looks welcoming too, if you can find a table or sofa not attached to a laptop and its user. The food was exceptional, I had the duck dumplings and potato dish for a starter, and both were so delicious. The other meals were reportedly also amazing, and the presentation was beautiful!
The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and we were given cushions and blankets to sit outside which was so cosy :D

The best choice in Poznan. We were there for late lunch and really enjoyed it! Our waitress Klaudia helped us to choose the best dishes and recommended us seasonal hot drinks. There dumplings with pulled duck and cabbage are excellent and you have to try them! Their seasonal lemonades are very tasty.

Very disappointing experience especially after reading previous opinions. The food was just average. The bagels are served with poor quality knifes which are so blunt I bent my fork trying to cut through it. Sarbinowska used to be one of our absolute favorites in Poznań - the service has always been excellent, and the team is consistently welcoming. However, during our last visit, we noticed that the menu had completely changed, shifting toward a kind of Asian fusion style. While we do enjoy Asian cuisine elsewhere, the new mix of flavors here didn’t quite come together as expected. We tried several dishes, but unfortunately, each one had something that just didn’t work.
That said, we still love this restaurant and truly appreciate what they’ve offered in the past. We’ll definitely be back, hoping to see either some tweaks to the current menu or a return to the dishes that made this place so special.

The on-site bakery doesn't add anything to it and the breads taste frozen not fresh. Disappointing as it tries to be a French patisserie. The only positive is the Illy coffee.

Mash is a great cafe for breakfast - the food is fresh and tasty, and the coffee is excellent. They also have great cake selection, which makes it the perfect spot to start your day. On weekdays, breakfasts are served from 7:30am, but on weekend mornings they're available from 10am.

We wanted to try this breakfast caffè for some time now and we were not disappointed. The bagels were very delicious. The hot chocolate with marshmallows was superb and the service was great! Came back a second time.
The interior and overall ambience of this place are definitely worth checking this place out, although (at least on my visit) the coffee was not overwhelming. It had a rather flat and an overly milky taste. The roast was supposed to taste like milk chocolate, red fruits and berries. The cappuccino felt more like a latte-type.
A bit of a downer: the wait times can be quite extensive, and in the waiting area in front of the counter, you constantly feel like standing in the way of everyone because the queue has to be passed through by the staff.
My chai latte was first served quite cold, but they warmed it up for me quickly. Food was great and the decor is nice

Visiting my family town I love to discover new places especially new restaurants and cafés. This time I was focus on breakfast places. Google recommended few places and one of them was Mowish Mash on Jeżyce. Ok fancy it will be this time follow pictures which I saw .. we were there just before 10am, looks busy already, maybe that's why we didn't hear any "hello" or " good morning " from stuff behind the bar. No ramp for strollers (I have small kidos) and space inside was not that impressive. We sit by small table , when I realized that we need to take menu by entry first to order something by ordering place . Menu is not long so was easy to choose, I had Szakszuka and 2pieces of different cheesecakes for kidos plus cappuccino. Atmosphere was like in theater , quiet , no music .. we were waiting 20min for cheesecakes and coffee plus another 10min for our meals . Szakszuka was served in warm plate, was just enough to kill my hunger. Cakes were delicious. What I missed were salt and pepper, no one asked if we need some .. I realized by exiting both spices were on the shelf by the door .. if I will be back there , yes but only for coffee and cake which is easy to eat on really short small tables .

A very cozy and pleasant place for a casual get-together. The portions are small, but so are the prices! I really loved that each meat position on the menu had it's corresponding vegetarian option, and if not, the ingredients could simply be changed. Also, their hot cocoa tastes just like the one I drank as a kid and it melted my heart.
Really nice place with tasty coffee. I got a large marzipan latte and a chocolate cheesecake. Coffee was really mild and not bitter at all with subtle marzipan flavor. Cheesecake was creamy and worth the price. Price of both items was 35 zł.

Parlé Pâtisserie in Poznan is well worth the trip away from the city center. The pastries are large-sized and flavorful. The malinianka was generously filled with berries while the pistachio croissant was filled with pistachio cream and covered with white chocolate that had the flavors of fresh Italian pistachios. The staff were friendly and both the inside and outside seating were inviting. The high quality pastries themselves are the wow factor worthy of all five stars. Highly recommend.

We saw this restaurant yesterday while going on a walk. We decided to go there for breakfast today and we are highly pleased with the food that we ordered. The service was good and the food came out very quickly. Came back a second time and again the food and service were great. And a third time to try the Brioche and croissant.

Great French cafe. The food is delicious and truly French tasting. The pistachio croissant is fabulous! The eggs Benedict and the Royal eggs are couple of my favorites. Lately I have been enjoying the raspberry tea with fresh orange, ginger, and rosemary! This is my second trip to Poland from Arizona and I always make time to come here and enjoy the food. It’s open until 4pm and for breakfast and lunch they are packed. Reserve a table if possible.
I visited Parlé Pâtisserie in Poznań this morning with a friend for brunch and it was wonderful. At first the place looks quite small, but once inside you immediately feel the warm and friendly atmosphere from both the staff and the guests.
The food was excellent – fresh baguettes, delicious pastries, and a nice variety for a relaxed brunch. One of the staff members had forgotten to add the extra salmon I ordered, but later she brought it over and told me it would be free of charge. Such a kind and professional gesture that made the experience even better.
Overall, everything was perfect – tasty food, cozy vibe, and great service. I definitely recommend Parlé Pâtisserie and will be coming back. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Alekosmos is a great place to have breakfast with friends, with seven bowling alleys, a VIP hall and an outside seating area in a terrace. It also has a good selection of coffee items to choose from at reasonable prices.
Ordered the Tost Awokado. Absolutely DELICIOUS! Highly highly recommend. The atmosphere is nice. It's a bit small so if you're coming with a large group I would call ahead. Lots of greenery inside and many cake/dessert options. Also not that expensive. It's a good amount of food- not too much not too little. The coffee is very good as well.

During my visit there were 2 available vegan cakes. Both of them were cheesecakes made of cashew nuts. I ordered one with blueberries and I felt really satisfied. It was fantastic I enjoyed each piece of it. There was no problem to get coffee with plant based milk- oat one.
The interior design is really cozy, full of plants with brick walls and mirrors. It made me feel really comfortable and relaxed.
The only con for me is that they only accept cash or transfer through blik which was a bit shocking for me.
Croissants with filling are the best in the city. Good coffee and you should try the cheesecake here. But they don’t have the payment with card.

Amazing breakfast place. Food is delicious, I got a millenial classic - avo toast which was a great choice and served with a side of salad. My companion's Cuban toast was also good though less healthy. They offer vegetarian and vegan options plus oat milk for your coffee. The staff was very friendly and interior fill d with plants. Word of warning - payment is only possible with cash or Blik which is a uniquely Polish instant payment system, bo credit cards possible.

Nice vegetarian café at the Rynek Jeżycki. Excellent Coffe and really good brioche sandwiches. We tried the one with mushrooms and bechamel sause, the one with pistachios and the sweet pistachios with warm raspberries. Five stars to all of them.

The café takes pride in serving high-quality coffee beans sourced from Five Elephants, alongside a delightful selection of pastries that include mouthwatering croissants and sweet treats.
The desserts are beyond surprisingly good. I was completely sold that I had to come thrice in a day.
First time was a puff with raspberry filling and white chocolate cream and pistachio flakes on top. At first glance, the puff seems overbaked too hard, but when I managed to have all elements in single bite, it was quite magical. You have all different flavors and textures blending in perfectly, especially the white chocolate cream was doing a lot bridging them together. So it didnt only look good, it tasted even more so.
The second time I had the white chocolate cherry tart. It looks pretty darn normal, but again, the layers of flavors/textures are so well thought. Pretty convinced they made their own cherry fillings (not much sweet at all, all cherry aroma), and there’s actually a layer of dark chocolate alongside the cherry underneath the smooth but strong chocolate cream; last at the bottom you have a nice crust. Different intensity/texture of chocolate elements came through at different time, with a nice fruitiness at the base. I almost wanted to take a 2nd one (also the last one available) but another customer went before me.
The 3rd visit was a cake with similar flavors but less impressive because it wasn’t kept cold enough and because the textures weren’t as varied. But it is what it is, and still tasted good. Just not stellar like the previous two.
Coffee-wise, I think it’s a good pairing with desserts for its full body. But nothing much too remarkable. But the dessert did make me wanna come to Poznan again.

The coffee was really nicely presented and tasty. I visited this place with my family and we ordered three cappuccinos and got all of them with different art on top. I drank a double espresso, it was a tiny bit sour but a nice, fruity and refreshing flavor overall.

I came back to this cafe for their V60. I tried Colombia Finca Milan, which was also a recommendation from one of the staffs. One of the best coffee I’ve ever had, I know I will miss this one when I leave Poznan. They are laptop-friendly as well.

When we visited Poznan in January, we were addicted to this place. Amazing coffee by Dutch roasters, girls who serve it are super nice, their sandwiches and panna cotta are very tasty too. We were extremely lucky to live nearby and come every morning of our short stay.

Having benchmarked eggs Benedict across brunch spots for years, I can confidently say theirs is decent, the hollandaise sauce was a bit lacking. Perfectly poached eggs with yolks that cascaded like liquid gold over tender ham , it’s clear the kitchen knows its stuff. 🥚✨
Then came the cakes. A rotating selection of **cloud-light sponges** and rich, decadent layers, each bite a reminder that life is better with dessert. But the star? The **Basque cheesecake**. Charred at the edges, velvety in the center, with a caramelized depth that’s nothing short of addictive. I’d brave a rainstorm for another slice.
Now, the (slightly damp) elephant in the room: the restrooms. The cafe’s nearest facilities are in the adjacent mall, which—on our visit—were unexpectedly closed. Cue a mild panic before a barista pointed us to a backup option few minutes away. Not ideal, but manageable with a heads-up.
Minor logistics aside, Lulu is a gem. Go for the eggs, stay for the cheesecake, and maybe… plan your hydration strategically. ☕🧀

Hands down the best cafe to sit and chill, beautiful art, excellent IPA, great staff, amazing food and the furniture is unusually comfortable. I honestly couldn't recommend a better place. Every time I get the chance to visit, it surprises me how nice this place is.

ŻUK is a new restaurant located in the Golęcin district of Poznań which offers a range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The restaurant also features an outdoor seating area perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the warmer months. All of the food served at ŻUK was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.
I passed by this place many times on my way to the lake Rusalka and always wanted to come here for a summer terrace. But, unfortunately, the summer ended and I didn't get to this restaurant until the fall. Nevertheless, it is very nice and cozy inside. The food is delicious and the prices are average in the city. The atmosphere of the place is pleasant. Also, they sell a lot of their own products, from coffee to canned goods. I really want to wait for the new season and get to the summer terrace. It is insanely beautiful and atmospheric. I can safely recommend this place! :)

Went there for breakfast but there was just one vegan option and not a single savoury option. So we ended up ordering just coffee with oat milk (which was additional 3zl on top of already overpriced cappuccino). What more our coffees took almost 25 minutes to come.
I think it’s a decent place for having a drink or coffee but better avoid it if you are looking for a place to grab food.

Pretentious place aspiring to something more than it really is: a mediocre eatery at rip-off prices. Noisy, loud music also at nights well into the morning hours - full arrogance at display.

Really nice place and the service was great, but the food was average. The bread was not particularly tasteful and some items on the menu were not thoroughly clear on the way they are served(cheese or no cheese). The lattes were good and served in a mug (with a handle) which is great!
The interior is very elegant but rather a smaller cafe. We had the guacamole and the granola. It tasted rather avarage and sadly the avocado didnt taste that fresh but the fruits in the granola where very good. They wait for the food was about 30mins.

This place was my highlight of Poznan, if not my entire Poland trip.
I've honestly never had better food, and the iced coffee I brought was the best I had in Poland, if not one of the best I've had in my entire life. I had high hopes but they exceeded them all.
Despite not being a vegan cafe, their vegan options were the best I've ever tried. I recommend them so highly to everyone, but especially to vegans. Do not miss out on going here 💛

The staff were friendly and very kind towards us despite our very minimal polish, and were very helpful when accomidating our dietary needs.

She was very kind, attentive, and spoke excellent English, which is very important for us as visitors from Cyprus who don’t speak Polish. It is an amazing atmosphere there, and my latest experience there was above and beyond! On May 1st, around noon, the baristas Konrad and Ania offered me a cold brew coffee tasting session, and I had a great time tasting it and learning a bit more about coffee tasting and brewing. The cafeteria Stacja Cafe &Pub in Poznan is a great place to visit with friends for a drink and some great food. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. There is a good range of beer available at reasonable prices, making it a great spot for anyone looking for a reasonably priced drink.
I am visiting this place already for 5 years. They have nice selection of beers, wines, cocktails, snacks and dishes. But the most important is the atmosphere. You have stary rynek view with avoiding all tourists and crowd. You can come here with friends and kids, or meet even new people at the place. First visit to this lovely and quaint bar a short distance from the Stary Rynek.Paulicarus says the decor reminds him of a 1960's English Tea Room with slightly moth eaten fabrics. Toilets on ground floor but well hidden to rear right corner.
We stumbled across this cafe/bar when we had finished our experience at the Rogalowe croissant museum. From the outside we were not so sure but the lady who served us could not have done more. If you are after a ‘proper’ cup of tea then this is the place to visit. A pot for one with a small jug of cold milk, although she did ask if we wanted heated.
The menu didn’t seem to be extensive, just some cakes but the brownie was warm, gooey and delicious.
The place itself is quite dark but it’s fun to see the rail tracks going through the venue and the streetlights in there. There were also board games to play that people had taken advantage of using.

When I visited La Gacca, I got to not only drink the most amazing coffee - I was also treated to a whole new coffee experience, I got to meet the extremely knowledgeable and passionate Mateusz (from what used to be the legendary Brisman cafe), and I explored the incredible and unique decor of La Gacca. To top it all off, I learnt that Mateusz roasts his own coffee, on-site, and he designs all the cool packaging you can see in one of my photos! I'm confident that you'll love your visit to La Gazza - no matter if you're a true coffee connoisseur or just a caffeine-deprived passerby in need of a cup of coffee.

Went during the day time and I must say it is a super chill place to relax with a nice cup of coffee with friends. The quality of coffee is out of this world! #mindblowinggood The brewer/owner is also the barista and provides the nicest service to his clients. The locale itself is air conditioned but also since it is in a basement it stays cool. They even have an arcade game in the back room which really fits well with the atmosphere of the place. Definitely coming back here again!
We got to know of this place from a city tour and I think it was surely the best of the tour after we got in: really cozy coffee shop with it's unique look, with great coffee, great service and a lot of fun, as the guys behind the machines are pure entertainment! Visited this place already twice during my short stay in Poznań. Definitely strong and aromatic coffee! Love the interior and comfortable chairs giving chill vibe. Will coming back ☕️
Shortly after noon on a weekday, so the lunch crowd seemed to be in. It’s a small place, so it was loud. But the service, food, and coffee was worth it. I managed to find an empty spot at the countertop facing the street window, and put my headphones in to reduce the noise. The service was very quick despite the number of customers inside.
I ordered french toast, mainly it was good but I'd rather have the white topping on the side and bread to be more crispy. There's a pea milk option with coffee, which is perfect! 💯
We got what we expected and the food was nice, place is well-decorated, good looking and comfortable. Definitely comeback for more breakfasts
