Restaurant
La Biglietteria, located in Bari, is a charming spot known for its relaxed atmosphere and delightful offerings. The venue is popular for its classic Aperol Spritz, dark ale, and delicious pasta dishes. With a light and airy interior and a waterfront terrace boasting wonderful views, it's a favorite among both locals and tourists. Whether you're looking for a meal with friends or a romantic date, this place has got you covered.
The atmosphere and service was really nice. A little costly, but to be expected.

I was so disappointed in this place. The restaurant looks so nice, but the staff there could be better. Maybe the waiter didn’t understand english well, but what is a problem to understood “iced coffee - the coffee with milk and ice”. This place is in tourist areas and it’s so important that staff speaks english. But it’s doesn’t matter right now. I didn’t feel taken care at this restaurant. The club sandwich was so big, and I couldn’t imagine how I’m going to eat that 😅 I have also doubts about the freshness of the ingredients, because I didn’t feel well after that. The salsa guacamole didn't resemble real guacamole at all.. I recommend working on a non-alcoholic cocktails 😉
Klaudia T — Google review
For 15 euros you get: coffee, some water and juice. And on the plate... scrambled eggs fried on burnt fat, greasy bacon and cheap sausages, called "frakfunter" in the menu. The photos and design of the restaurant in art deco style, premium, but they serve cheap products, in an ugly form. I'll leave those orange pieces on the plate without comment.

Nice place. At the Lungomare so it has special charm. Coffee is great - I ordered Americano. Ice thé as well, very good.
Jelena M — Google review
Not a bad spot. We don't drink alcohol, so drink options are limited. That sucks, luckily we do love sparkling water so that's always a plus. You can always find that. The food was good but not sure I'd say excellent. Atmosphere was nice. They brought out little lamps once it started getting darker and that was pretty cool. We ordered an appetizer and meals and they brought everything out at once which also kind of sucked. We like our appetizers as appetizers and not sides. But it all did come out relatively quickly.
Julie L — Google review
We had drinks here one evening and was very impressed so decided to dine the following evening. We were seated and had our order taken very quickly even though it was incredibly busy and the food arrived promptly and was delicious! All the staff we encountered were very friendly and the restaurant itself is decorated beautifully too, in a lovely art deco style. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this lovely restaurant! :)
Claire R — Google review
We landed here for reason and that was to get into the shade. That then lead onto Lunch. Firstly the drinks, classic Aperol Spritz and a dark ale. Both as you can image went down well in this heat 😁. Then lunch, two pasta dishes and a salad, plus a bottle of water. A great mellow atmosphere, friendly staff. The food presentation was fantastic and the cost for what I would say was easily of high standard well €60. Not bad if you ask me. Will we go back, yep we shall. Well a week later we've landed back in Bari and we had to stop off again. And again great. Can't fault the staff and the food. Very mellow, no rush to leave, great. Thanks again and the next time we're passing through Bari we shall stop. 💃🕺🍷

Gola Caffè Bistrot is a laid-back restaurant in Bari, known for its reimagined pasta and seafood dishes served with a selection of wines. The bistro offers an unpretentious atmosphere and friendly service, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. It's celebrated for its simplicity and delicious food, particularly its seafood, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant is also recognized for accommodating dietary requirements with expertise, attracting vegans as well.
One word for this place - amazing! From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of the family here. The owner and his staff are extremely welcoming and keen to ensure you have a wonderful dining experience! We had the octopus, caprese salad and salmon to share as starters and all of them were amazing! For main, we had the famous Puglian spaghetti all’assasina (even better… with gluten free pasta)! As a symptomatic coeliac I felt very safe eating here and all of the staff were very knowledgeable about cross contamination! After travelling throughout Puglia, I can say that you will not find a better spaghetti all’assasina anywhere else!

Ordered a hamburger, received well done beef patty and a bunch of potatoes... I haven't heard of a burger without a bun... Bottled water was served although we didn't order one and was included in the bill.

We loved Gola!! It was our go to place when we were staying in Bari. Everything was wonderful from the staff to the creative food menu to the hours which was so convenient for us. Wish we could have taken Gola with us to Rome!🥰

I dined alone at this restaurant and ordered spaghetti all’assassina accompanied by a glass of red wine. The flavor was quite distinctive - an experience that may vary depending on personal taste. The total cost was 30 euros.

I ordered a spaghetti with prawn, it appeared delicious to me. The taste is different from what I experienced in my country. The real Italian spaghetti is awesome
Muhamad R — Google review
We had a dinner party for my dad's birthday last week here and the quality of the food was beyond spectacular! Fresh, tasty and very well presented! You can tell they do their job with passion and attention to details! Being a vegan blogger myself I was very pleasantly impressed about their knowledge about dietary requirements, intolerances and cross-contamination. I'm definitely going back when in Bari! You must try their "assassina". It's their signature dish and the best one I've had!
Adriana Z — Google review
This is a lovely restaurant! The staff were so kind and the food was just incredible. Seriously, me and my brother agreed that the “Pulp Fiction” was the best octopus we’ve ever had and not to mention it was presented so beautifully!! The pastas were also amazing with freshly made sauce and you could just taste that it was made properly. I recommend coming here especially to try the octopus.

Very good restaurant! Big portions and really tasty food! Try the tuna carpaccio! They also offer the homemade chips with BBQ sauce as a starter! The guy who served us was so polite and fast! Don't forget to tip!

Mozart Caffé is a great spot for coffee and quick breakfast in Bari, Italy. The food is delicious and the espresso is smooth, so it's perfect if you're looking for an Italian caffeine fix. The service and owner are both very friendly, so you'll feel right at home while you're there.
Absolutely loved this place! The coffee and pastries were incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the owners were super friendly. You can really feel the passion they put into their work. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

The pistachio cornetto was absolutely delicious – flaky, fresh, and filled with rich pistachio cream. The coffee was also excellent – smooth, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you're looking for a cozy spot with great pastries and warm service!☺️

Absolutely the best place in Bari! So sad we found it the day before we left. The best coffee and the best ice-cream. Try Mandorla limone, it’s perfect💛 And the host is just like you’d imagine a very friendly Italian
Olena B — Google review
I managed to catch one of the rare moments when, walking by, it wasn’t crowded! I went in and was pleasantly surprised to see that the espresso machine is one of the few lever‐style models—arguably the best for flavor. I ordered a decaf, and when I paid, it cost €1.50—the most expensive decaf I’ve had so far in Bari!! No further comment needed. I’ll only come back if the price drops to €1.00.

This is a cozy cafe conveniently located at a walkable distance from Bari centrale. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I have been here a couple of times, and on a hot summer day, their cafe granita with brioche was exactly what I needed, the perfect combo😋😋! If you're looking for a great breakfast spot or want to try one of the best granita in the city, definitely don’t miss this place.

Tuccio - Cucina Caffè, established in 2020, has quickly become a popular spot in Bari vecchia. The restaurant offers modern spaces, an open kitchen, and outdoor seating, with a focus on typical Apulian products. Guests can enjoy a rich assortment of cold meats, cheeses, dairy products, and tarallini. The establishment is known for its excellent service and delicious food. Dishes like spicy potatoes and eggplant appetizers are highly recommended.
It was very nice place, we spent two nights there to eat. Food delicious and fresh. Good wine. The waiter was very friendly and nice. Thanks to make it special for us.

Stumbled upon this unassuming restaurant completely by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. They have a lovely outdoor seating area, where the atmospheric lighting creates a fantastic setting for an evening meal. We also loved the visible kitchen concept. The service was genuinely charming. The food was delicious across the board: a refreshing Aperol, superb pasta, and a very good dessert. It just goes to show that the best discoveries are often the most unexpected ones. Highly recommended.

The service and food were both good, just nothing out of the extraordinary. The location is amazing, with the back terrace offering us both shade and coolness in the heat of the day, and having the extra bonus of being close to the Nonnas street, where fresh pasta is made.

Good vibes, great food, kind service.☺️✌️ However the carbonara is not the traditional italian style carbonara, it was still great, and the server noticed us before we finalized our order. And we also got a small discount at the end. 100% would recommend!😊

All I wanted when I came to Italy was a nice plate of pasta and this hit the spot! Delicious. Also I wanted to give my respects for the two ladies running this place. They did serving, hosting everything and service was quick as well. Love from Toronto!

The gelato at Martinucci Laboratory is also highly praised, particularly the coffee flavor.
The best ice cream and the most delicious pastries I’ve ever tasted in Bari! Martinucci is not just a simple pastry shop — it’s a true experience. Authentic flavors, perfect textures, and a Mediterranean vibe that makes you feel like you’re on vacation every time. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to indulge in top-quality desserts in an elegant and welcoming location!

It’s a good pastry & bakery in old Bari. I tried gelato and it was delicious. They have other Italian pastry and bakery including deserts and gelato. Centrally located and easy to find the venue in the old town. Open till late hours. Recommended!
Pelin K — Google review
The first time I visited this chain I LOVED it - it offered the best ice cream and sandwiches which I’d had. But this time when I returned I had a horrible experience - I checked the menu out on the app and showed the waiter the specific sandwich which I wanted. He delivered the food and immediately requested payment. I then took a bite of the sandwich and quickly realised it wasn’t what I ordered, so I asked the waiter and he said ‘we didn’t have what you wanted so I gave you something else’ and that was it. This is awful customer service - you can’t just give the customer something else if it’s not what they asked for, and then charge the customer full price for the item they didn’t even want. To add on top of this, the toilet door doesn’t lock and there’s no toilet roll.
Lisa S — Google review
Pasticiotto was great! We tried lemon one and pistacchio one. Though there are no prices on the counter, you should ask for them. The whole thing is too sweet sometimes, if you’re not a sweet tooth - take one to share!
Google review
fantastic vegan sweets! the pasticciotto with pistachio was excellent! i also tried a croissant with vegan cream filling (which was very pudding-like). both tasted great, very much on the sweet side! i think one would have been enough for me haha. service was very helpful!

Disappointing Experience – Rude Staff and Poor Service Martinucci Laboratory in Bari was a letdown, mainly due to the rude and unhelpful staff. No one explains how the ordering system works, and I was abruptly told to go to the counter and get a ticket without any guidance. After ordering a New York cheesecake, I had to go to the other end of the place and wait for someone to eventually hand it to me—all while my coffee got cold. The cake itself was nothing like a real New York cheesecake. Not worth the frustration. 👎🥶🍰
Marius S — Google review
The atmosphere is a bit chaotic. When we first went, we didn't know where to order from, we tried to ask but we were ignored. I figured it was because they were busy. So we tried again, this time for cocktails and once again ignored even though we waited patiently in line. Rollercoaster Ride is about to start: Finally, we went yesterday morning, when we found the register to order from (it's behind a pole on the side of the bar) the cashier seemed annoyed that we were there. There was a lady in front of us, she- the cashier, purposely ignored the customer for at least 10 minutes. When we finally got to the front of the line we too were forced to wait and was ignored by the same cashier. (She wasn't working, and I am not sure what the issue was. I don't think 🤔 this is a cultural thing because literally everyone else has been kind, helpful, accommodating and amazing) We tired to order, but the cashier informed us we would need get a table, if wanted to eat there, (the only tables available were outside in the cold), and she also informed us that someone would take our food order. No one did, therefore we decided to order breakfast to-go. Then a table inside opened up, so we grabbed it. All of a sudden the waiter started yelling at the lady next to us about there being a service fee to sit at the table. She seemed fine with the service fee, but the waiter kept yelling at her, she stood her ground and he finally let her be. She was there before us and her husband was trying to find a place to order the food. It was uncomfortable to say the least. The waiter pushed our table away from her and took our order. He was kind to us and helpful, but I felt really awkward about the situation. The place stays very busy. We visited three times to give them the benefit of the doubt. However each time we were ignored or treated poorly. The food and drinks were OK, we have had better at other cafes. If this place wasn't so highly recommended we wouldn't have gone back. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I just want future guests be aware.

Antica gelateria Gentile has been dedicated to the art of making gelato since 1880. The family's creativity seems boundless, as they continuously introduce new flavors. Their recent passion for spices has led to creations like the vibrant "Rosso Ardente," a berry gelato with beetroot juice and a spicy kick from dried chili.
I can't believe how good this place is. I mean I have tried many gelato places even in Italy but this is by far one of the best that I think would be my top best ones I have ever had. Located in Bari, Italy this store is small and when I was here there was people already all seated outside and people as well in the store. Overall the taste of my pistachio was just spectacular! I also had hazelnut which was also amazing!

Gelateria Gentile is pure gelato magic! 🍨 The pistachio and crema antica were heavenly...soft, creamy, bursting with authentic flavor. Even the pastries shine! The queue speaks volumes: excellence worth every minute. Best gelato in Italy! 🇮🇹✨

Totally worth the hype! The place is very well organized — you order your ice cream at the counter, get a ticket with a number, and wait for it to appear on the screen. Then you choose your flavors. The ice cream is absolutely amazing — the best I’ve had in Italy! It’s creamy, rich, and every flavor tastes authentic, not artificial. Highly recommend, 10/10! Even though it’s busy, I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes in line.

I visited this place based on a friend’s recommendation, and it definitely lived up to the hype! There were quite a few people working inside all very quick, efficient, and great at handling customers. They have a wide variety of options, all of which look amazing. I tried the gelato, and it was absolutely delicious enough to make me believe that their other sweets must be just as good!

Absolutely scrumptious! As someone who has a sweet tooth, this went down a real treat. This was the ‘bombette’ My good friend kindly let me taste some of their ‘peanut butter’ ice cream and I can confirm that was divine 😌 Truly recommend if you want to try some food quality desserts in Bari!

We had the dark chocolate and almond milk. It was so delicious! Rich in flavor. It was near my hotel and was recommended by many IG post so we drop by this place both for coffee in the morning and night for gelato.

I was there everyday during my stay in bari, gelato is okay, but not great in taste. But today lady who was outside said to me in very rude way that I can't sit outside with gelato which I have bought inside 😂 She didn't even ask me if I would be interested in coffee or she could just say outside costs 2eur. She said it while it's heavy raining and only one table out of 10 was busy also with polish tourists. Right next to me 8 people from Poland wanted to sit for cafe and gelato and she couldn't say anything nice to them also. It is so absurdly funny, I just sat there and patiently waited for waitress to take my order and she only came with stupid smile talking sth in Italian under her nose :) 90% of tourists now are from Poland, be respectful for us and other tourists, cause you have just lost a client and dozen others 😉

My wife and I were on vacation in Oct-Nov of last year and went to Caffe' Vergnano 1882 for a coffee and cake after some morning sight seeing. The pasticceria's coffee and freshly baked sweets were delicious and satisfying. Whilst the prices are on the higher side compared to other cafes in Bari, the central long large square location is perfect. So if you’re looking for a historic classic Italian pasticceria and you are in Bari, it’s a worth a stop. Recommended

Martinucci is known for serving the finest Lecce pasticciotti, which are highly recommended by visitors. Customers praise the quality of the products and the courteous service provided by the staff.

Pasticiotto was great! We tried lemon one and pistacchio one. Though there are no prices on the counter, you should ask for them. The whole thing is too sweet sometimes, if you’re not a sweet tooth - take one to share!

fantastic vegan sweets! the pasticciotto with pistachio was excellent! i also tried a croissant with vegan cream filling (which was very pudding-like). both tasted great, very much on the sweet side! i think one would have been enough for me haha. service was very helpful!

El Chiringuito, located at Porto Vecchio, Molo S. Nicola, is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. From sunrise to sunset and beyond, this no-frills hang-out attracts young Baresi who come to enjoy panzerotto and Peroni while listening to reggae music and the soothing sound of lapping waves.
The cheapest beer in town ( draught beer - 1,5 eur, bottle - 1,2 eur) , with beautiful view and great atmosphere ! In the morning , there is a fish Market where you can buy some fresh oysters.

Low-key casual bar with outside area - some fisherman are live catching stuff from the sea as I understand so you can try seafood. Music was a little too loud at times but a great area to enjoy some drinks with friends.
Cansu K — Google review
Visited this place one morning as it was strongly recommended by friends. It was nice to try such fresh sea food on a sunny morning with a cold peroni, whilst watching the the fisherman prepare the food throwing octopus all round the harbour. If you love sea food and something full of locals this is the place. I thought it would be a little cheaper considering it’s straight out the sea. I think the mix dish cost €25. 2 beers and the pastry was under €5
Jase A — Google review
Freshly caught seafood straight from the source - the fishermen. Come here early and enjoy the freshest selection of seafood in Bari. Eat it raw, which is a bit of a strange sensation, because you only live once. Wash it down with a cold beer that’s sold right next door. 20 euro for a full platter.
Radek K — Google review
Grabbing a beer down by the boat ramp and watching the sun set was a highlight of our visit to Bari! Such a great atmosphere around, cheap beers, what more could you want? We originally came down for the seafood (we couldn't find any) but were happy to stick around for the beer.
Bek B — Google review
They could have done so much more with this place. Sustainable take away cups for example. The garbage bins are placed directly next to the water instead of in the back). The view is very nice though, prices fair for a beer.
A. W — Google review
This place offers a unique experience throughout the day. In the mornings, it serves as a vibrant fish market, while during sunset, it transforms into a gathering spot where people come together to discuss and enjoy beer. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it maintains an authentic charm without being overly touristy. Moreover, the staff is super friendly, the location is great, and the prices are excellent. It's a truly remarkable destination that caters to various interests and preferences.

Bright Café - Apericena Pugliese is a charming breakfast spot that offers a delightful assortment of dishes such as bruschetta, cappuccinos, Nutella pancakes, French toast, and traditional Puglian delicacies. The café has garnered praise for its delicious waffles with cream and fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, and friendly service. Guests have also enjoyed the varied selection of breakfast foods and Italian pastries.
🥑🍳 Perfect breakfast spot! We stumbled upon this place by chance and it turned out to be the perfect find. Both of our dishes were delicious – freshly made toasts, one with creamy avocado and smoked salmon, topped with pink peppercorns and arugula, the other with perfectly cooked eggs. Everything was beautifully served, with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The Aperol was ice-cold and refreshing – just what we needed! Friendly and fast service, cozy atmosphere. Definitely a place we’d come back to for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. ☀️🥂

I don't understand why this place has so many good reviews. 14 euros for a huge piece of bread with a small avocado and a piece of salmon, I'm shocked. They have a menu on a QR code with a photo (which is great), but it doesn't reflect what you get at all. As for the coffee, I never thought that in Italy you could get coffee from a machine and water in a plastic cup with it! I'm very outraged and don't understand how they can charge such prices with such quality.
Anhelina K — Google review
They were very slow. It took 50 mins to bring us pancakes and they were too dry. I have uploaded photos and also in their menu, the pancakes look delicious but it is not in reality. The photos are more of an advertisement of my iphone’s camera. It is also overpriced (12 euros for pancakes)

Nice little quiet place. I went there especially for the crepes. Ordered super crepe with nutella and banana which looked amazing on the menu picture. Crepe was good but it did not looked anything like on the menu, there was no filling on the inside of the crepe just on the top. So little bit misleading with menu pictures. Nevertheless good regular crepe but i came for a special one so little bit annoying. I would came back again.

Horrible experience, i don’t understand how they got so many positive reviews. I didn’t think that anywhere in Italy you could get a cappuccino from a machine. Salmon and avocado brunch is inedible. Pre-bought avocado paste, old pastry and not fresh salmon. Slow service and terrible music playing loudly all the time.

I've been there other times for breakfast or a fruit juice. There was an elderly woman who seemed to be the owner, assisted by staff from outside the EU. Today, August 17, 2025, only non-EU staff. I asked for a non-alcoholic beer and when I asked the price they first told me €4, then, after I insisted, €3! Simply an exorbitant price! They invited me to sit at one of the tables.

The owner, Simona, infuses the bistro with her warmth and professionalism, ensuring that every customer feels immediately at home. It's a perfect spot for expertly prepared breakfasts, delectable cocktails, and aperitifs.
Over the course of my trip to Bari, I visited the Rock Cafe multiple times. It was one of the few places that didn't close in the middle of the day, the staff was very sweet and hospitable, and the food and drinks were delicious. As a remote worker, it was also difficult for me to find a place in Bari (or Italy in general) where I can work on my laptop and enjoy coffee or a meal; at the Rock cafe, this type of work is more than welcome. It's obvious that the owner puts so much thought into his menu and atmosphere, from the music, to the layout of the space, to the cuisine. Def recommend.

(Translated by Google) Bittersweet experience here at Rock Cafè, but perhaps more sour than sweet! Pros: Location, location, staff. Cons: Medium-high prices, pistachio. Yep, the place, located near the Bari Polytechnic (excellent location), is very, very beautiful and very well looked after. Small internal room with bar counter and little else, but then a splendid external terrace surrounded by greenery. A pleasure to be there in the midst, especially if the right music is chosen. The staff is friendly and helpful and tries to satisfy every customer need. However, the truly positive points end there. I hope it is a bar that finds its true soul for evenings and aperitifs, because for having breakfast, as I did with my friends, it is not the right bar at all. My girlfriend drank a coffee that she didn't like at all and as for me, I ate two croissants and drank a cappuccino. The cappuccino was normal, without infamy or praise, it was fine, but I'm not satisfied with the croissants. The pasta is inferior to the quality achieved by other bars in the surrounding area. But above all, if the cream and black cherry of the second croissant were ok, I can't say the same about the pistaccio of the first croissant. Eating it was an at times terrible experience. I'm not saying that the pistachio here in Puglia should reach the level of the Sicilian one, because I realize it's impossible. However, I have tasted a decent, edible pistachio in other bars or laboratories. This was not the case with Rock Caffè. The pistachio present in the croissant is not even worthy of being called that. Both my friend and I compared it and to both of us it seemed more mint than pistachio. It really takes a lot of courage to call it pistachio. Having said that, if I have the opportunity, I will try something different like an aperitif and maybe I will review the rating, but for now I can only say, avoid it if your goal is a simple breakfast. There is better in the surrounding area. Tuttavia, i punti veramente positivi finiscono qui. Ci vuole davvero tanto coraggio a chiamarlo pistacchio.

Ideal for couples or business travelers, the hotel offers amenities like free Wi-Fi, breakfast options, and dry cleaning services.
The staff is absolutely the kindest most welcoming hotel staff I’ve ever experienced. They are incredible and you can tell they truly are passionate about sharing what they love about Bari. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms and showers are big by Italian standards. Everything is modern and new-and they will be happy to explain how everything works if you need help. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the sea or Old Town Bari and there a a ton of shops and restaurants nearby. It’s very close to the train station as well.

If you are staying in Bari, and money isn’t an issue, this is unequivocally the place to stay. Incredible location just a few blocks from Old Town without actually being in it. Very friendly/helpful service from recommending things to do to holding luggage etc. Rooms are very nice, spotlessly clean, and have nice features (e.g., ours had a full balcony with a table & chairs, hot tub in the room). Hotel restaurant is a really cool vibe with good food/drinks mostly populated with Bari locals stopping by for a coffee/drink break. Two small negatives would be 1) The walls are a bit thin/rooms are close together so you can hear much of what is said next door but is kind of expected in a cramped city like Bari 2) Would be nice if the showers had a nook/shelf to put soap on

(Translated by Google) The WORST EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE. Embarrassing, not so much the rooms, but the assistance which is ridiculous to say the least. Let me start by saying that it all stems from a mistake on my part where I booked a room at 00.10 requesting availability for the following day, not realizing that, due to those ten minutes, the following day was rightly considered Mon rather than Sun I therefore enter one day earlier than indicated, as the key code (Self entry) is confirmed to me as still the same as 15 days earlier. The same evening, at 11pm the light goes out in the apartment and hence the worst B&B experience of my life. I write a message and after an hour I start calling, unfortunately this agency, with the excuse of not being a hotel (the prices are identical to a 3/4 star but without any service), does not respond to the messages until 9am in the morning. From the moment they answer, I am upset by the disservice, which is unfortunately very serious for me as I have availability which does not allow me to be able to turn off the phone and limit its use but above all for a freezing night and a morning where I had to wash myself with cold water, I finally receive an answer... and they had never done so... First they accuse me, rightly, of being inside without authorisation, then comes the management of an agency whose services and communication are, to say the least, terrible. They start accusing me of not having gone out of the apartment downstairs to look for a solution with the meter, starting to ask me for photos of the keys and to understand what the problem was, I'm in Bari for work, I should have been in the office at 8 but at 10 I was still there waiting for dictates on what I should or shouldn't do to resolve a problem (these gentlemen forget that customers don't have to worry about their shortcomings), so I leave the apartment at 10 in the hope that at least fix the problem. In the meantime I am asked to pay for the night I used, it's okay, it was my mistake but I think that since I was without electricity from 11pm to 10am, at least they have the good sense to ask for a "discounted" rate..... absolutely not, so I refuse and since the overnight stay for the 4 days was already paid for I ask to be able to check out a day earlier because I will never intend to give a single cent to people like that again. That's not enough, they write to me verbatim words *"I just want to point out that the electrical system has no problem, the short circuit was caused by water that we don't know how it got under the sink and the problem has been restored"*, wow, I read that there is no electrical problem but there was a short circuit due to a leak caused by they don't know who. I'll probably be stupid enough to harm myself and experience the thrill of sleeping in the cold and being without power for over 14 hours. Incredible. All of this is not enough, in the evening I finally go home I take a shower (warm because hot costs too much for 70 euros a night) and the next morning cold water, but I don't want to say anything hoping it's just a moment, it's a shame that the next morning the same problem again, I report it peacefully and I'm asked to check if the boiler "mistakenly" accidentally turned off. I don't even know where the boiler could be (I discovered it this morning, it was on the roof...) So from Tuesday to this morning, Thursday 10/04, I always washed with cold water (here too this morning's communication on this outage was tragicomic) The worst trip of my life, I had to make a report to the relevant bodies, these agencies eat money without providing any service at least they should work on customer satisfaction and luckily, thanks to their policy, which never identifies who intervenes on the reports and the phone is never picked up to find out if there are more or less serious problems, I have everything traced about these disgusting days. BEB Bari Okey Homes the Big Nightmare (Original) Il PEGGIO MAI INCONTRATO IN VITA MIA. Fantastic staff. Excellent value for money. Focaccia with mortadella and burrata excellent as was the iced pasta salad. The Iced Coffee was a real hit. Definitely recommend this cafe for a pit stop while exploring Bari

A great Cafe in Bari. I tried the cappuccino and tiramisu and both were very good 😊 The cameriere are very nice and helpful.
Dina S — Google review
I’ve been here a few times for breakfast and always had good memories. This morning I walked in and there were other customers. I had to wait, but two of the three baristas on duty completely ignored me; only the third—a young guy, probably an immigrant—noticed me and took my order (he asked if I wanted a table or to stay at the counter; I chose the counter) to pass it on to his colleagues. Since nobody else budged, he ended up making the ginseng coffee I’d asked for himself. Then, because my pastry still hadn’t been made, I walked out while he was still asking if I still wanted it! And the price of the ginseng coffee is astronomical!

Jérôme Café is a popular spot in the heart of the city, offering an elegant Parisian cafe atmosphere and a delectable selection of sweet treats. From breakfast with mouth-watering brioches and croissants to well-executed espressos and cappuccinos, there's something for every moment of the day. The menu includes toasts, sandwiches, biscuits, macarons, slices of cake, chocolate and leaf teas for snack time.
The cappuccino and pistachio brioche were the stuff of dreams! They had a ton of other options as well but this definitely caught my eye and I have no regrets. The place itself is also quite beautiful and busy at pretty much all times from what I could see. I've come back a couple of times since I arrived. Service happens fast but does not always come with a smile, which quite honestly, I personally don't care about as long as I get the food/ drink in a reasonable time (it's not a fast food restaurant) and it's delicious. This place fits that bill and then some!

The products are very delicious and tasty and the prices are reasonable. We ate in three mornings and everything was great. One day I went after lunch but it was full and the waiters couldn't cope and there weren't many products left. In the morning the windows were full of fresh products.

Under the passionate guidance of Giuseppe Nitti, this café not only caters to espresso lovers but also invites adventurous palates to try unique drinks crafted by a knowledgeable staff.
We found this place by accident! And I am so happy we did! The ladies who works here ( the wife of the owner) is the sweetest!! I bought two of their teas bc they were so good! Also their filled croissants and coffee is really good! Really recommend visiting this place for your morning drink!

What a delightful find during my short trip to Bari! I stumbled upon Veronero while passing by and popped in to grab some coffee beans for home. The place is beautiful with an amazing atmosphere. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and while I waited for my beans, they even offered me a complimentary espresso which was absolutely amazing! I will surely come back again next time when I'm in Bari! Highly recommend a visit.

Best flat white coffee we have had in Italy. Nice flavor with the right strength. The cardamom “bun” was tasty but not quite to the same standard as the Scandinavian ones. Modern interior and a”cosy” place to sit inside. There is no outside seating, but a place to park your bikes directly outside 😀.

Fantastic coffee and such a lovely team! I visited this place daily during my trip and was surprised by how much I loved the coffee, considering I rarely drink it back home—if ever. But in Italy, do as the Italians do :) So I happily enjoyed several cups of Veronero’s cappuccinos and can confirm that their stuff is goooood. The cardamom buns were another revelation—such a pleasant surprise to find in Bari. Lovely atmosphere too. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s not every day you find a specialty coffee shop in Italy, especially one that stands out among Italy’s traditional dark roasts. Veronero is a real gem. We served a well balanced coffee. Thanks to their in-house roastery, they serve coffee that’s freshly roasted and full of flavour. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Hopefully they will set a new standard for coffee in the city. A must-visit for anyone who loves quality in their cup.

"Difficult" entrance for a user with walking difficulties due to the presence of a step at the entrance. Opted for ice cream in coffee and pistachio flavors for the first, fiordilatte and dark chocolate with whipped cream for the second (the latter dispensed from the spout of the electric cream whipper, which ensures hygiene, practicality and excellent product yield): good quality preparation , characterized by perfectly distinct and distinguishable but rapidly dissolving flavours; the lack of skill of the girl in charge of the service is forgivable, however diligent and kind and very young. we only visited once, the morning of the day we were leaving, and we regret not coming sooner😫 it was always packed with people when we were passing by, but now we get it. we initially ordered some sort of Italian sandwich, but the last two pieces they had, ordered someone before us. but we are so glad they did, because what we got instead was AMAZING. the waitress offered us a wrap with parma ham, mayo, salad, tomato and the cheesiest mozzarella and it was delicious and so was the pistachio cornetto, because it was light and the sweetness of the filling was just right. definitely the best pistachio cornetto in the area. we had to take one with us to the airport.😋 we definitely RECOMMEND.

Bar Viola was where we started almost every morning during our month long stay in Bari Italy. My wife had her ‘latte freddo con caffè granita’ every morning, and she is not a caffè drinker! I enjoyed a cappuccino for the first week, and changed it to americanos to finish out the month. Their cornetto, brioche, and sandwiches are of highest quality and flavor. Yet what makes Bar Viola special, are the people who served us with pride, offered us occasional advise about Bari and the nearby towns, and treated us like part of the family. We were filled with wonderment and laughter watching Signore Viola zoom away on his scooter with a tray of espresso and other items for delivery…amazing service! We look forward to our next visit to Bari in the future to start our days again at Bar Viola!

Caffetteria Dipierro is a hidden gem in Bari, perfect for those seeking both caffeine and refreshing beverages. While their coffee is undoubtedly delightful, the menu also features fruit-infused smoothies that are ideal for warm days. The cozy shop may be modestly decorated and located in a less touristy area near the station, but it exudes charm with its local clientele.
Great Place for a great morning! In our short time in Bari we were 3 times there and will come by next time we are in town! The owner and the waiters were really nice and very accommodating. We had cornetto with different fillings (pistachio, ricotta (best filling!) And all the other pastries were also delicious. The Bari Coffee (see picture) was a Espressino (something local 😊) Recommend it to everyone who wants an original Italian experience 🤗

We got our food tailored for us! The lady was so nice and attentive, she was listening to what we like and helped us create something delicious for each of us. I had mixed fruits juice and tomato focaccia with mortadela and mozzarella, and they were just amazing! And on top of that she treated us with some snacks to wine, saying we should definitely try it with some cheese and artichokes in olive oil. Love it!!! The day started for us so well, that made our first day together in Bari so memorable ❤️

We spent three days in Bari and couldn’t resist returning to this amazing cafeteria for their delicious croissants—cream, chocolate, and ricotta—paired with fresh orange juice, caffe, and cappuccino. The cozy, local vibe and incredibly friendly staff made us feel very welcomed. We were sad to find them closed on Sunday, but we’ll definitely recommend this gem to anyone visiting Bari. A must-try for great food and wonderful service! Super delicious croissants!!!🥐

My sister and I were staying in Bari and happened to stumble upon Cafeteria Turtorro on the corner — and we are so glad we did! We ended up coming back three days in a row because we loved it so much. The couple who runs the café were the friendliest, warmest people we met during our whole stay, and they made us feel so welcome each time. Not to mention, we had the best cappuccinos here! It became our little morning highlight, and we honestly can’t recommend this cute spot enough. If you’re in Bari, don’t miss it!

Four of us came here recently for a tasty breakfast, each morning of our lovely 4 day break in Bari. We were greeted with humorous friendly service, given well presented personalised paninis and pastries/croissants. Thank you so very much, we loved your cafe and you city.

We stayed at the nearby Alle Luminarie apartment. We started every morning with coffee and a perfectly prepared breakfast of our choice. Excellent homemade italian desserts, scrambled eggs, salads were prepared for us by the wonderful Tina. The staff and the ambiance of the cafe completed our enjoyment of this part of Italy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Once you enter this Bar and meet its owner/barkeeper Gaietano, you feel like you came home!! Iused to go there with my husband on our holiday for coffee in the morning or aperitif in the evening and we loved that place!! The highlights of this place apart from the great, friendly and open atmosphere that Gaietano spreads are the great-quality products he is selling for a very fair price, very charming interiour design and beautiful (not only) italian music!! We will miss this place and hope to come back one day again!! We wish Galia Bar and its owner all the best!! Alessandra & Lorenzo

We wanted a place to have some good coffee and breakfast and we came across this little place. There is only one table inside and one outside but the service is amazing. The coffee was really good. And they have some pastries from which to choose which were delicious (muffins, typical Italian pastries, croissants and some more).

Komodo Café is a centrally located spot with an informal and relaxed atmosphere, offering excellent background music and a friendly staff. The drink selection is varied, and the walnut plum cake comes highly recommended. Visitors can expect a great coffee experience with friendly service that's not too crowded. It's an atmospheric café where you can enjoy good coffee, lovely pastries, and even an aperitivo in a nice setting with kind staff.

My husband and I went here for our first Italian breakfast. The owner was as kind and helpful even though there was a language barrier. My tea was delicious and my husband enjoyed his Americano. We both had pastries, but he does make hot breakfast sandwiches. Highly recommend! Sadly I didn't take any pictures.

Wonderful place! During my vacation in Bari, I had the pleasure of discovering this charming little café just below my apartment – and it was love at first cappuccino! ☕️ The coffee was absolutely delicious, and the pastries were fresh and simply melted in my mouth. The staff truly deserve a special mention – the gentlemen working there were incredibly kind, always smiling, and spoke English, which made communication so much easier. Every morning, I started my day with a visit here – enjoying authentic Italian coffee while soaking in the beauty of Bari waking up around me. The atmosphere is warm, genuine, and so welcoming – a true taste of local life. I wholeheartedly recommend this little gem to anyone visiting Bari!

My first time for breakfast; I asked for a brioche and a ginseng coffee, and they gave me an empty croissant and a ginseng. A stellar price of €3.10! Quality and service were below average. Never again. Response to the bar manager's reply: perhaps you've never actually taken the time to compare your prices with those of your competitors—even in very central locations. You should try, and you’ll see that I’m right. Here in Bari, you come across as one of those “clever” types who, when questioned about the outrageously high prices, tries to claim—or make people believe—that the order was consumed at a table. That only confirms the accuracy of my review. So far, I've come across three of these “shady characters”!

(Translated by Google) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My trusted bar in Bari: Cabosse! Bar Cabosse is a real institution for me: every time I go there, I feel at home. It is the classic place where you find quality, courtesy and sincere smiles — a rare mix nowadays. The coffee is always perfect, the croissants are fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming at any time of the day. It is the ideal place to start the morning well or to take a relaxing break during the day. The staff is very kind and always attentive, with that human touch that makes the difference. It is nice to know that you can count on a point of reference like this, where you are not just a customer, but one of the family. Thanks Cabosse, keep it up👍👏 (Original) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Il mio bar di fiducia a Bari: Cabosse!
