Lilla Kafferosteriet, Malmo's oldest micro-roastery, is a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts. Located in the charming old center of Malmo, it offers coffee tastings to educate visitors about different coffee beans and processes. Housed in a 17th-century townhouse, the cafe serves delectable baked goods from renowned local bakeries alongside its exceptional coffee.
One of the best spots for coffee lovers in Central Malmo. I’ve been here several times—whether it’s for a simple breakfast or a relaxing afternoon fika, it never disappoints. The decor has a simple vintage vibe that feels cozy and welcoming. They offer a great variety of coffee options, and the cake selection is always tempting. With outdoor seating available during the summer, it’s the perfect place to sit back and enjoy. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
Yulia E — Google review
The coffee here is extraordinary and the atmosphere in the backyard is also very nice, a lot of people but not in a loud way, more in a family-like way. I can also recommend the hot chocolate (also in the summer), it’s amazing. The chocolate cake was very good too.
Jonas L — Google review
It is a one man show. The only staff take orders, prepare food and drinks. Yet he treats everyone politely! Kudos to him. The food and drink is pretty average. Flat white lacks coffee flavour, milk steamed the show. Hot chocolate was fine. Had the richest chocolate drink in Melbourne, coco black. The bread had an interesting cardamom and cinnamon flavour. Wish it was heated up for more flavour. Choco ball was difficult to cut through. Could be richer.
Kelly F — Google review
Pretty good and balanced coffee. The cardamom bun was soft and sweet but lacking nuance in flavor. But if a nice cup of coffee and cozy atmosphere is what you're after, this is the place to go.
K. B — Google review
One of the best place to have your carrot cake. And cozy place to read your books. Be ready of long queue, however quick service once you place your order.
Christine S — Google review
Popular coffee place. Good strong coffee, and delicious vegan cardamom cinnamon roll. The shop has a warm, rustic interior. There was a long lineup when we went and it did take some time, but it was good overall.
Lui G — Google review
Coffee and pastries are great here and not too expensive. The decor looks really rustic and interesting. Near St Peter’s church. One thing is- the toilets are filthy. :(
L C — Google review
Micro coffee roastery with tasty sandwiches and pastries. If you order filter coffee, gladly you have several options to choose you bean from. And, The best comes for last; filter coffee has one free refill right. Yoghurt bowl is recommended. Small open air terrace has a direct access from the street, which is ideal for bikes and stollers. Service can be a bit slow but don’t be upset because that means your food freshly made.

Atrium is a charming cafe with a warm and inviting ambiance, featuring indoor greenery that creates a calming atmosphere. It's an ideal spot to relax and catch up with friends. During the warmer months, visitors can enjoy the outdoor sitting area. The stylish interior and beautiful presentations make it a popular spot for Instagram-worthy photos. The cafe offers delicious brunch options and tasty cakes, including vegan versions of their dishes.
A very cosy and nice local cafe in Malmo where we had a wonderful and delicious breakfast. We’ve got Benedict eggs with ham and salmon, very tasty and nicely dressed and last but not least we’ve found San Sebastian cheesecake so far from it’s origins - Spain, but it has to be admitted that the cheesecake was also very delicious. So highly recommended place.
Khachatur T — Google review
Me and a friend tried this popular place after many recommendations from friends - and it was mid. We had a pulled pork sandwich and a avocado sandwich - both were good, but you didn’t get full at all, left you wanting more. We ordered their coffee which was okay, and I tried they homemade lemonade, which in honesty just tasted like Fanta with cinnamon. The decor is super nice and cozy, but the service was nothing special, the staff weren’t that welcoming and kinda cold.
Michael J — Google review
Atrium has become one of our favorite spots for brunch, which I love to enjoy with my husband and our furry family member. I usually order the Eggs Benedict, as it’s consistently delicious, although the Hollandaise sauce can sometimes be a bit much. It tends to overpower the rest of the dish, so a lighter approach would make it even better. I appreciate that the outdoor seating is dog-friendly, but I wish dogs were also allowed indoors, especially on cold or rainy days. It would be nice to enjoy the cozy space year-round without leaving part of the family members behind. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with delicious food and a calm atmosphere that keeps us coming back.

Very delicious food for especially breakfast or lunch. So you can say it is brunch 🥞 Good variations of food and egg. Really enjoyed for my short malmö trip.

The best Benedict and Lattes. Offered us an English menu, which we thought was very nice and considerate to do. Wonderful experience. Thank you!

Such a cute place with fantastic coffee and food! The apple juice and overnight oats are the best!!
Dana S — Google review
The place was beautiful and the outside sitting was just the best! Coffee was great too. However, the eggs benedict were more like a sunny side up and a little over cooked. It was still good and therefore the 4 stars, just not exactly what we wanted.

Jord, which means "earth" in Swedish, is a popular vegan restaurant in Malmo. The cafe offers a light and bright atmosphere where patrons can enjoy all-day vegan breakfast options such as hummus bowls with baked red cabbage and carrot, pea pesto toast, and granola bowls filled with blackberries. Their menu also includes vegan bakes like raw brownies and squidgy carrot cake.
This place is a must visit when in Malmö. The food is delicious and super consistent (we came here for the first time in Feb 2022). I’d highly recommend trying a sweet and a savory dish for the perfect mix. All their smoothies are great and the beetroot latte is always a winner 🤤
Maria N — Google review
Great finding, definitely one of the best smoothie bowls that I have ever had - not to mention their homemade granola, which is absolutely delicious. I am so happy we got to try this place, the reviews were very promising, and it really did not disappoint. A very cozy vibe with friendly people, definitely a place where you can come and relax, even work. Unfortunately we were here just for one day, but I would have loved to try more of their offerings, everything looked delicious. 10/10, worth checking out!
Mara — Google review
This place was absolutely amazing, they have so many delicious options, and I'm definitely gonna visit again. We had one of the pancake options and it was overwhelmingly good 🤩 3 fluffy american pancakes absolutely drenched in biscoff and hasslenut sauce, and pink whipped cream on the side - I loved everything about it. And the portion was huge, luckily I was able to get a small container for my leftovers so I could enjoy the rest at home 🥹
Maja S — Google review
Best cafe in town! Must try those pancakes! Food is consistently amazing. Great atmosphere and staff. If it is not that busy and owner Johan is there, ask for a Swan latte art…

Delicious vegan food. Large size portions. We took the Mexican Vegan Nachos bowl and the Scramble Tofu toast. Both very well executed and flavorful. Also a large choice of drinks both cold and warm. Worth the visit
Chloé S — Google review
Fully vegan cafe. Friendly staff, reasonable prices & tasty food & drinks with great presentation. I had the avocado hummus toast & scrambled tofu. To drink I had an iced late. If I ever visit Malmo again I will go back 🙂

Great selection of food. Loved the green bowl.. Easy to park nearby. It's my favourite place in Malmö
Jessica H — Google review
Everything up to standard. Delicious, healthy, and hearty meals. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, 5 stars all the way. Cake here everyday of my trip to Malmo. Tried everything, loved it all, with one exception: their oats. Even without the agave syrup that it normally comes with as per request, it was so sweet I thought my glycogen stores would go through the roof. Oats aside, everything here is a hit. Love it and recommend it. 🇨🇭👍🍉

Noir Vin & Kaffekultur is a popular coffee shop in Malmo, Sweden, known for its high-quality coffee and charming atmosphere. The cafe offers a cozy interior with marble-topped tables and wide window seats, as well as a parasol-lined terrace where visitors can watch locals and tourists pass by. It's conveniently located in the city center, making it an ideal spot to grab some sweet treats or lunch-style dishes after arriving from Copenhagen.
Dropped by from Copenhagen for a day trip and just had to try the coffee here. Weather is lovely and the coffee was perfect. Delicious and it’s much cheaper than CPH.

Nice little cafe and wine bar in a quiet location, albeit in the pedestrian zone. Indoors and outdoors seating. We went for a quick lunch. Poached eggs / avocado sandwich and a caprese salad. Freshly made. Nice. They gave plenty if cakes. Looked homemade or fresh.
Jan W — Google review
Cute cafe with small selection of good dishes. Not too much, just right. Unfortunately the outdoor area, especially the umbrellas need some cleaning and an urgent maintenance of tables and chairs is recommended. The inside is very compact, but well optimised for the quick coffee, while the outside invites for a calmer chat and some observations of the street life.
Raphael B — Google review
Nice cafe off a side street from a big square. Later afternoon lunch and had sold out of a few items, had the Portobello Sandwich that was very tasty and a botanical white wine. Umbrella heaters on the patio, a few tables inside.
Tammy O — Google review
A charming and cosy café right in Malmö’s CBD, offering expertly crafted coffee in a relaxed setting. We enjoyed a cortado and a flat white—both well balanced, smooth, and showcasing high-quality espresso. A great stop for anyone seeking top-notch coffee in the city center.
Johan O — Google review
We had a small breakfast consisting of poached eggs and avocado on rye bread and a fluffy scrambled eggs with salmon. Coffee with milk to wash it down. Staff was very friendly and topped our coffee up for free.

Came here for a quick drink and bite to eat. Had latte and bacon and cheese croissant and slice of cake. Very tasty. There are a few tables inside and then quite a few tables outside with heaters. We wanted inside due to the cold weather. Nice ambience and nice food.

Boulebar is not just a place for playing petanque, it's also a cocktail bar with a small but well-crafted selection of drinks. You can enjoy cocktails like the Angelique Papon and the Pommango Spritz while trying your hand at up to eight outdoor lanes of varying difficulty levels. The staff can guide you in the finer points of the French game, and there are French-inspired food and drinks available.
This was such a fun place. I came here for a large work dinner which included a game of boule. The service is excellent, very attentive and patient staff. The cocktails were really good as well. My favourite had tequila and passion fruit in it as it was sweet and fruity. The boule game was quite fun, though I probably would only do two rounds at most and spend more time socializing by the bar.
Carlo F — Google review
Great food, nice (but maybe a bit slow) personell, we had to wait 15 minutes to start playing (out of our allocated 90 minutes), unfortunately extremely noisy (since our dining table was right next to the playfields).
Henrik D — Google review
Nice atmosphere, average oysters, friendly service.
Marius R — Google review
Great place, nice weekend event and in general a very good experience. It was not nice to wait in a queue for food for 40 minutes to get one of the dishes, though. The staff should be more aware and help each other. If this issue was resolved I would give more stars, but it wasn’t, and I used 40 minutes waiting in a queue. That’s a blemish on an otherwise well planned event.
Jonathan B — Google review
Wonderful experience. I went for a work event. The food was delicious. We had a two course menu: the starter was a fruit salad with chilli and cheese that worked really well; the main was stuffed chicken with potato salad. The drinks were good too! They had my favourite non- alcoholic beer 🍺 . Special thanks to Gustav, who managed the many of us with calm and made sure the service runned smoothly. After dinner, we played Pétanque. The space is really big, and the guys who explained the game were friendly, funny, and passionate about the game. We had a lot of fun. Definitely recommended 👌
Walter B — Google review
Great ambience! Learnt a new game Boule! Nice place for team activities and big groups...service was a bit slow but food was good! It works well with a package deal on food drinks and a fame of boule. They have both indoor and outdoor eating and playing options!
Arushi D — Google review
Came here with a few friends and it was a great brunch location. Very cool concept and location with good food, but not too much for the price you pay. We had to order again as it didn’t fill us Also the waiters weren’t very informed about the food options and they forgot some of the orders. Nonetheless, I would still recommend it😊
Adrian L — Google review
Great concept in a fab setting and ambiance. You can choose inside or outside if weather permits. We had the Sunday brunch, very nice combo of menu selection and buffe. The dessert options are really nice. Staff is attentive and explains very well both the Petanque game as well as the brunch concept. Book in advance is a must and a tip, play first, eat after.. The playing fields are great, very hard and challenging, you can easily bring all the kids with you or just an adult game with beer and wine at court side. Make it a Sunday activity its worth the money, as in most businesses in Sweden nowadays its a non cash establishment.

Ruths, formerly known as Bastard, has transformed into a charming all-day deli and restaurant in Malmo. The establishment now offers extended opening hours and a delightful selection of house-made preserves, charcuterie, bread, and pastries. The menu features European a la carte dishes for both lunch and dinner, with options for small and larger plates. Ruths also serves as an incubator for talented chefs who have gone on to open their own successful restaurants in the area.
Had the summer tasting menu here last week and it was my favourite meal I had while in Sweden! Love how unpretentious and just deliciously executed the food was - and presentation was spot on as well! The pavlova was phenomenal! Thanks for a great meal 😊.
Angela C — Google review
Michelin recognised Ruths offers the most intentional food from summer to autumn dishes, nothing will disappoint! The sausage was well cooked and the smashed potatoes were smooth and salted to perfection! The fish was light and flaky. To finish off, you must treat yourself with a raspberry tart danish!😋 The location is cozy and unique, transporting you in another era: they slice and serve the bread in front of you 🤩 The service polite and welcoming.

Excellent place for dinner, great bread selection. Great pastry Had a chance to have a dinner here - I went for set menu - two starters, main, desert. Good value for money but the most important. EXTRAORDINARY flavours of the dishes. Greatly balanced very compact dishes. Open kitchen - so you see the madness behind the scene and the exhausting pace that doesn’t allow to compromise on the quality of the food. Good cocktails. Classics very well executed - local gin martini was a good experience! Next day morning happened it was open with different atmosphere - so popped in and had great pastry and coffee. On my TO DO list to visit next time I am in Malmo.
Azat P — Google review
Went there for breakfast. Great quality of food and good portions size for the price. Friendly service by the staff and the restaurant seems quite popular amongst the locals and the tourists.
Kamran K — Google review
The place looks great, pity the logic got lost on the way. We showed up as a big group, and apparently that meant we had to order the set menu. Fine. But when we asked what’s actually on it, the answer was: “It’s a surprise.” A surprise! Because who doesn’t love gambling with religious dietary restrictions? So there we were, playing culinary roulette until the plates arrived. To keep the mood intact, we switched to vegetarian menus. The food? Genuinely tasty, no complaints there. Then came the bill. Surprise number two: vegetarian meals cost the same as meat ones. When we asked why, the response was pure poetry: “It is what it is.” Translation: don’t ask questions, just pay up. We ended up paying SEK 650 for some salad, beans and pavlova PER PERSON! Looks like the only real set menu here is: Confusion for starters, Frustration for mains, and a Side of Silence when you ask for explanations. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Eda B — Google review
Excellent food and service! Ordered the terrine, crab tarte, cod, and guinea fowl. Good portions, excellent cook and flavors.
Merrill S — Google review
Their bread is incredible, and the staff are amazing. I had my baguette sandwich in a local museum, where I learned that they make their sandwiches with bread from Ruths. I got some loaves (so delicious!) for home on my last day in Malmo as I didn’t have a chance to sit down and order any food there. Highly recommended. 💛💙

Uggla Kaffebar in Malmö is one of the most authentic and laid-back coffee spots in the city. Blending Scandinavian simplicity with a bohemian sense of comfort, Uggla offers the perfect space to enjoy an excellent cup of coffee, work, or meet up with friends. The coffee selection here is diverse, with a strong focus on quality and careful preparation, while the menu also includes delicious snacks or sweets to pair with your drink. The friendly and knowledgeable service is the final touch that makes Uggla Kaffebar a fantastic choice for anyone seeking an authentic coffee experience in Malmö. Small, but nice café. Not a huge variety of baked goods and other food, but you’re likely to find something you like. I just got a coffee and a croissant. The pastry was freshly made. The coffee maybe a bit on the weaker side. Both were rather good overall though. There aren’t a lot of seats on ground level. They do have places downstairs, and on a sunny day you can sit just outside or across the street in a little park.

Adorable coffee shop with excellent service! Came here to grab lunch and had a delicious sandwich with lemongrass tea. The two people working were very kind and created a really lovely environment to spend lunch and read my book.

Great little cafe on the corner of St Kniuts - a small square with a no waste grocery store and nice bakeries. Uggla specializes in quality single origin coffees - their own brand and others. Check out the coffee selection and nerd out over coffee. The food is rustic and wholesome. Limited menu but they are great at what they produce. For instance their turmeric latte blend is hand blended by Imran himself. And if you’re in Copenhagen, check out their newest location
Karan K — Google review
I ordered a grilled bread with egg and roasted tomatoes (according to the menu) for around 140 SEK. I was disappointed with how thin the bread was, that there was no tomatoes and the amount of food I was served for 140. The food is overpriced. Their coffee is fine.
Michael J — Google review
Lovely place with great atmospehere both inside and outside. The staff was really friendly. The espresso was well done but I didnt like the beans they use, I thought it gave the espresso a little sour aftertaste (personal preference). Kanelbullen was the best I have ever had. Usually this place is really full but if you have opportunity you should really give it a chance. One of Malmös better caffè.

Great coffee. Smooth and tasty. The German barista was very nice. even remembered my order from the day before. Had a chat with him. Very nice guy.

Rarely do I review on the spot but this cafe deserves it. Love the fruity bryggkaffe, plus the buttery croissant with its neatly layered crispy crust is to die for, and I said this having been to France many times. I appreciate the friendly service too
Mai N — Google review
Wonderful café in every way! Their almond croissant is so good, I have never had better. The cappuccino was just right on the portion, taste, and of course with latte art. The bread with simple cheese was great as well. They bake the bread and pastries onsite in the back. The restaurant is minimalist style. I love the simple cement counter with high chairs. There were not so many chairs and the shop is got quite a number of customers coming for sitting in or take away. I'd turn a regular, if I would live in the area.
Jah P — Google review
Great coffee taste, amazing bean quality!!! Usually I add some sweeteners to drink my coffee, but I did not have to use any on my capuccino, because its taste was soooo good! Also, the baked goods were very tasty! Only slight negative is the lack of character in the design/decoration, as it felt pretty empty and dull while sitting inside.

I'm not sure what kind of theme and ambiance they are trying to achieve. The music in the coffee shop make you feel like in a church. The staff is rarely smiley and gives the impression that working there is not fun. The product itself is great! Delicious coffee that is not very strong. People seem to love this coffee, because the store is quite crowded. Definitely worth a visit!
The B — Google review
The staff were lovely and attentive, despite it being quite busy. The space though is not very cozy, and I wish I had liked the coffee a bit more! The kokostopp, however, was nice, and the rest of the pastries looked good too. I will try to give it another chance since everyone else seems to love it here.

We come for great coffee and a nice atmosphere - it’s a safe and open environment with anti-racism merchandise for sale! We felt at home here coming from Sydney, and it’s a great spot to pull up a seat by the window! Be prepared to drink coffee standing if you come in a peak period (Italian style)

The unique and delicious sandwich shop Scandwich offers a variety of creative sandwiches, salads, and open-faced sandwiches that are sure to satisfy any foodie. The shop also has an extensive beer list, making it the perfect place to enjoy a good meal with friends.
We had a great experience at this sandwich spot in Möllan! We ordered one pork sandwich, one vegetarian sandwich, plus hummus and fries. Everything was really delicious and the portions were generous. The sandwiches were packed with fresh ingredients and full of flavor, and the hummus was creamy and well-seasoned. We sat outside, which was cosy and relaxing. The staff were friendly and welcoming with smiling faces. They did forget one of the sandwiches at first, but when we reminded them, they quickly apologized and brought it out without any fuss. Definitely a place we’ll come back to — tasty food, good vibes, and great service!

Best sandwich I’ve ever had! the potato chips were alright tho I couldn’t drink but my friends ordered a mango beer and it was lovely as well The service was okay, nothing special really It was a bit hard to order actually And we were lucky because some were just leaving when we arrived so finding table was no trouble

Not really worth a visit. Lame variations of a Danish Smörrebrød, just Swedified until death. Super tight outdoor seating. Dirty tables straight after opening. Several layers of paint visible. Please put some effort down and shape up.

I have a feeling I didn't get this place at its best. The food could of been amazing but fell short , like it wasn't as fresh as should be. I took the vegetarian option and the thing that let it down was the broccoli which was the main part

Seafood restaurant
Johan P is a renowned seafood restaurant in Malmo, offering a blend of traditional Swedish cuisine with a modern European twist. Led by Niclas Billsten and his team, the restaurant provides an extensive menu for lunch, dinner, and bar service. Known as an institution in Malmo's business world, Johan P is favored for its consistent delivery and vibrant social scene.
We had a nice experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the portions were large. We tried the fish and chips, salmon with potatoes, the halibut and the oysters which were fresh and very tasty. However, as tourists, we found it a bit challenging to understand the menu, as it was written only in Swedish on a blackboard, with no English translation. The waiter recommended using Google Translate, but also assisted us with the translation of dishes whenever we had questions. Overall, a great meal with fantastic flavors—definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area!
Laura H — Google review
Johan P in Malmö was lovely place to kick off the Christmas spirit! My husband and I visited the night before Christmas Eve and had their special Julbord på isat fat. The The seafood spread was delicious and included five types of herring, Janssons temptation, gravlax with egg and löjrom, two lobsters, Smögen shrimp, green mussels, oysters, langoustines, rouille and herb sauce, and more. We finished our meal with Ris à la Malta, which was a delightful festive treat. We spent around 3,000 SEK, including drinks, and it was definitely worth it. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere felt cozy. However, I’m giving a rating of 4 out of 5 stars because the table we were seated at was too close to the neighboring one, especially near the window, making it feel a bit cramped. Additionally, we had to seek out the staff's attention since they were busily attending to other areas of the restaurant and were not as attentive to our table. Despite these minor issues, it’s still a wonderful dog-friendly place, and I highly recommend it for a seafood meal!
Yuki K — Google review
We visited Johan P last Sunday for their brunch (395 kr per person), and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. The meal started with fresh sourdough bread and an impressive seafood platter, beautifully presented with mussels, crayfish, and shrimp on the top layer. This was followed by a variety of flavorful dishes – Skagen stir-fry, crayfish stir-fry, mustard herring, fried herring, salmon in different preparations, eggs, and more. Every bite felt fresh and perfectly seasoned. Next came their fish and chips which we difficult to eat more because already full. We finished with a sweet selection of desserts, fresh fruit, and coffee, which was the perfect ending to the feast. By the end, we were happily full and very satisfied. The quality of the food and the attentive staff made it a memorable experience. In total, we spent 1 200 kr for two persons, and it was worth every krona. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy top-quality seafood in Malmö.

This was my first visit to sweden for work. At the suggestion of my coworkers, I walked the few km from the hotel to johan p. I was greeted by a friendly host. I ordered the rose fish and some sparkling water and sat outside to enjoy the cool air. Waiter came out promptly with the water and some bread and we talked a bit. Waiter returns with a shrimp salad and swedish caviar on toast dish. I did not order this but it was very kind and very good. Tangent, I was showing my coworker pics of the food when I got back and he stopped me on the shrimp salad and said that he loves that dish and it was a good choice. Ok, back to main post. Rose fish comes out. I've never had rose fish before but was intrigued by the name. Seared rose fish on carrot puree and I believe pork belly on top. It was very good. I was not aware, but if you didn't find something on the menu, they have a fish market inside and will cook you something from there. Loved this place. If work ever sends me to sweden again, or if I'm there for vacation, definitely going back

It was a recommendation from friendly locals on the train and definitely is a hidden gem, on a quiet side street in the centre of Malmö. You might need to wait for a table around dinner time (19:00/20:00) unless you had a reservation - we were lucky and a bit earlier than 19:00. Lovely service, not rushed, attentive. Food was delicious, unbelievably creamy tuna and tasty herring as a starter. Definitely a very strong recommendation to visit in Malmö.

What an excellent restaurant 👍 The decor and ambience is top class and makes you feel very special. Hollandia, the oldest café in Malmo, has been serving delectable treats since 1903 and has been known as Hollandia since 1950. This charming café exudes an old-world charm with its traditional ambiance, chandeliers, and red velvet chairs. It's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
Had a very good slice of cake (Tårtbit) with a very good tasting choco bottom and cream. Loved it. The chocolate ball was exquisite. We had very good coffee. On our next trip to Malmö we will visit again for sure.

Such a beautiful place! Even though it was really crowded (Saturday afternoon) and there was quite a line at the counter, seats were available in the huge cafè. It still feels really cozy because it’s not one big room, but rather many small ones which creates a really nice atmosphere. Unfortunately they ran out of shrimp sandwiches right before it was our turn, but we took the salad instead which was probably even better, as it was like a bowl with lots of fresh ingredients :)
Bekki — Google review
It’s a very nice coffee shop with sort of a ‘royal’ vibe. Quite busy, I must say. They have different filter coffees on offer which you can pour for yourself and multiple times. Which is quite nice. The scones were fresh and delicious too. Overall, a very good experience.

5-STAR! It is a beautiful patisserie at the middle of Malmö. Sarah Bernhardt… Outside is crunchy, inside is full of taste with smooth texture. I can’t even describe the feeling that I get from these desserts. It is above my expectations. Definitely deserves 5 star, even more! Passion fruit one was also soft and tasty. I’m sure you can try all the desserts they have without hesitation!

Great place to grab a bite to eat or some cake! The line moves quick - make sure to grab a number!! Ask the staff to tell you about gluten free, they had lots of options including this delicious meringue cake!
Joseph B — Google review
The cakes and pastries were incredible, and were very well presented, eg strawberry tart. However we were disappointed by the iced matcha, which we found to be gritty and full of lumps. Nevertheless, staff were lovely and the cakes again, to emphasise, were very tasty.
Thomas L — Google review
A beautiful café with extra seating in the back that isn't immediately visible from the outside. Their cakes are amazing! We tried the Princess Cake (Prinsesstårta) and a chocolate cake—both were freshly made and absolutely delicious. The coffee was excellent as well, and you can even purchase their roasted beans to enjoy at home. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Maritta K — Google review
The café looks nice, but it’s not very friendly for English-speaking visitors. They use a number system for ordering, but there are no signs or explanations in English. The system itself is simple, but no one tells you to take a number, and they only call the numbers in Swedish — so if you don’t speak the language, you won’t know when it’s your turn. Some of the staff also don’t understand English, which makes things more confusing. A bit more effort to communicate would really help.

MJ's is a chic and upscale hotel in Malmo, offering stylish rooms and suites, a vibrant bar, and a hip restaurant. The hotel has undergone a complete renovation to become the Miami meets Sweden inspired place it is today. It has become one of the most popular meeting places for both locals and visitors, boasting a cosmopolitan vibe. Located just 50 meters from Lilla Torg Square in central Malmo, MJ's offers free WiFi and rooms with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, beautiful, and well-equipped with a fridge, hairdryer, and iron—everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. There was no kettle in room but you could go to the bar and request hot water, coffee and tea. Breakfast was a highlight; astonishing dining area , delicious food and varied options. The hotel’s location is also very convenient. It’s just a 10-minute walk from central train station and less than 5min to the old town. Definitely recommended staying in here and looking forward to coming back soon.

A lovely boutique hotel right in the middle of the old part of downtown. Very quirky decor but it really has its style. Incredibly friendly staff. Our room was among the smallest (the booking allows you to choose based on room size), facing the backstreet. It was cosy and comfortable, and I had a really good night’s sleep. The breakfast was really amazing, including the bread coming from next door’s specialty store Ruth’s. All in all, it is hard to ask for more!

Honestly, I cannot speak highly enough of MJ's and my experience there. For one, it is a lovely hotel with stylish comfortable rooms and a great breakfast in a good location, but what really set it apart was the care and attention to detail of the staff. I emailed in advance about it being my girlfriend's birthday during our stay, and they went the extra mile to make it special. I would 100% stay there again and I would 100% recommend to friends, family or anyone else considering staying there!

Great hotel location, walking distance from train station and very close to Malmö city center. Amazing choice for breakfast in very nice looking restaurant. Definitely a great choice of hotel to stay in Malmö with very unique style.

From the moment we stepped into MJ’s, we knew we were somewhere special—but it was Room 202 that truly stole our hearts. The atmosphere felt more local and authentic than anywhere else we stayed in Sweden. With the French doors that opened above the main entrance, we had the perfect perch to watch the city’s rhythm—cobblestone streets alive with energy, laughter drifting up from the streets below. It felt like stepping into the past and the present all at once. I couldn't help but imagine my ancestors walking those very same streets 200 years ago. The room itself was enormous—airy, stylish, and welcoming. The bathroom was especially spacious, with clean lines and thoughtful touches. Even the flamingo that stared me down from its perch above the toilet made me laugh—it was quirky and memorable in the best way. Breakfast? Absolutely phenomenal. We still talk about it. The variety, quality, and presentation were on par with some of the best dining experiences we had on the entire trip. And the staff? So attentive, so warm—genuinely kind people who made us feel like we belonged there. Everything we needed was within walking distance—shops, restaurants, and beautiful little corners of the city. But truthfully, once we landed at MJ’s, we barely wanted to leave. Next time, Room 202 will be our base of operations for exploring more of Malmö and the Skåne countryside. Thank you, MJ’s, for making our trip unforgettable.

I came in this hotel for lunch. The food is very good. With the dagen lunch the main course was served with salad & focaccia and coffee & sweet bakery.
Julien D — Google review
The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The location is superb, but you absolutely have to earn your customers that this hotel transforms into a nightclub in the weekend evenings, with the risk of keeping you awake until past 1 in the night. We had requested a quiet room, but we got a room on the ground floor with the extremely loud music keeping us awake, when we wanted to sleep. If it was coming from another nightclub or something not in this hotels control it would be understandable, but it felt particularly bad being kept awake by your own host. We had a super friendly interaction with the staff afterwards, who refunded us a night for our inconvenience. Hoping to stay again and update our review in the future <3

I just want to say that Grannen never disappoints with the variety and quality of the food. And there is also the student discount for which I'm grateful! I would go again! 😊

This place is really cute, a bit confusing if it’s your first time here (which was the case for us). You walk in thru the main dining area into another room where you order from the counter…I personally found the ordering options a bit confusing. There are vegan options & lots of healthy options. The vibes are casual & laid back! Service was good. Indoor & outdoor dining available.

Cute little bar in old Limhamn neighbourhood. I entered the bar thinking of having a coffee after lunch. When I approached the counter to order, a variety of pastries caught my eye. I couldn't resist trying the strawberry cake. The coffee pot was nearby for self-service, choosing one of the vintage cups on the buffet. I choose the pink flowered one, to combine with the cake 😁. The bartender explained to me that the coffee cup could be refilled as often as I wanted, within the payment made. At lunchtime, the place was full, with most people eating lunch, soup, sandwiches and other food. Most of the chairs were near the window overlooking the street, the best choice if you go alone. If you are around the area, take a visit there. You won’t be disappointed.

Cute café, pleasant vibe with calm music in background. They had lots of old mismatched coffee cups and you can choose which one you want, thought that was charming. They didnt have espresso and the coffee was so-so. The tosca was good, but nothing special. Decor is cool with a great mix between old vintage and modern aesthetics. Lots of places to sit both inside and outside. Some stuff to play with for children. The most cozy cafétoilet in Malmö? I would come again but mostly because of the vibe/decor.

Cafe No.6 is a charming addition to Malmo's thriving coffee scene, located in the St.Knut area near Folkets Park. This cozy brew room has quickly become popular among locals, especially young professionals and creatives. The cafe offers an extensive menu featuring various brewing methods including Chemex, V60, filter, and milk-based drinks alongside a selection of specialty teas. Known for its cold brew and the use of Soderberg Och Sara beans, Cafe No.
Renovated and decorated with care. Good espresso and okay cake. Some interesting choices of cold beverages. Staff was friendly service with a smile. It seems there is always a crowd outside so I have walked past several times but Im happy to finally be able to visit this place.

We liked their Ethiopian espresso and really enjoyed and savoured 2 types of V60 - one was from the German brand The Barn and the other was from a Polish brand that I cannot remember the name(so if you guys are reading this, please let me know what was the name), but the coffee had been fermented in wine barrels, thus the coffee had striking rumy taste. And it was a real pleasure to converse with the nice lady behind the bar.

Very good coffee in a small café close to Folkets Park. The indoor seating is not comfortable so I’d suggest the place for a quick stop by. The staff is polite and efficient.

Lunch restaurant
Coffee shop
Kärleksgatan 3 is a lunch restaurant in Malmo, Sweden that goes by the name Love Street in English, which is a translation of its street name. The cafe offers excellent espresso options such as cortado, cappuccino, and double shots. It has a vibrant and youthful atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee. In addition to their fantastic coffee selection, they also offer an extensive breakfast and lunch menu.
A Delightful Culinary Haven From the moment you step into Kärleksgatan 3, you're immediately embraced by an atmosphere that is as warm and inviting as the name suggests. The ambiance sets the stage for what can only be described as an exceptional dining experience. The interior is cozy creating a relaxing environment. I had the pleasure of indulging in their citron ravioli, a dish that I cannot recommend highly enough. The first bite was nothing short of magical—it completely silenced the conversation at my table as I savored the burst of flavor. The lemon was perfectly balanced, neither too overpowering nor too subtle, creating a harmonious dance on the palate that left me yearning for more. Each subsequent bite seemed to surpass the last, building layers of flavor that were both complex and satisfying. Accompanying the ravioli was a side of toast that was, quite simply, perfect. Crisp on the outside with a tender interior, it was the ideal companion to the rich and zesty ravioli. The combination was a revelation—one that I will be thinking about long after my visit. Kärleksgatan 3 is a gem that should not be missed. From the welcoming atmosphere to the meticulously crafted dishes, every aspect of the restaurant speaks to a dedication to quality and a passion for culinary excellence. This is a 10/10 experience that will haunt your taste buds in the best possible way.

Had the citron ravioli and shared it with a friend. They split the portion into two plates for us and wow, it was delectable. Cannot recommend enough. I had an espresso as well, which was quality.

We had beetroot ravioli, and the arrabbiata ravioli. They were both excellent (but preferred the arrabbiata one slightly more, especially with burrata on top). It's a very nice place and the staff was super friendly.

Really nice and cosy place! Great Kombucha drinks, vegetarian options, soups are well recommend aswell as noodle salad with tofu! A lot of avocado options and hummus. Enjoy! Nice staff!

Tasty, well made salads for lunch, a small but luxurious breakfast menu, coffee and sweet stuff. You can really see there's love put into the food and how it's presented. Nice, light interior and good vibe. Filter coffee could be stronger but the rest makes up for that! Fav café in Malmö for the moment.

Located in the heart of Malmo, Clarion Hotel Malmö Live is a modern high-rise hotel with colorful rooms and vibrant interiors. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast, along with two restaurants and a lobby bar. It is conveniently situated just a few minutes' walk from the central station and within easy reach of shopping, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel also boasts a big fitness center for guests to enjoy.
I stayed here only a night and it was very fantastic. Location is great, very near to the city center and there are a lot of interesting things to see around the hotel. The breakfast is great with lots of food variety and it was very delicious. The room is very clean and well-designed- only downside is the shower is pretty small (but fine). The hotel is pet-friendly and the staff are kind, friendly and efficient. Overall very positive experience here and I will stay here again when we visit Malmö.
J R — Google review
The location is very good, no doubt about that. What I appreciated the most, though, was the breakfast – honestly, it’s fantastic. There's everything you could want, both sweet and savory, and it's truly satisfying. The breakfast area is also really pleasant and well-kept. What I didn’t like so much were the rooms, which I found a bit outdated and not perfectly clean. Another thing I didn’t appreciate was the lack of air conditioning – it’s quite hard to regulate the temperature, and for a hotel of this level, especially with climate change, that’s really hard to understand.
Andrea C — Google review
The morning buffet is exceptional! You will find all you wish for :) the rooms are comfy, view amazing. You do spend a lot of time waiting for and inside the elevator. Staff is helpful. Liked it, and it’s situated in the center.

The place to stay at in Malmö. Great rooms with extremely comfortable bed/pillows and wonderful view over the city. Breakfast was amazing. Next time in the city I would stay here again. Just few minutes walk from train station and near to the shopping/restaurants.

Great location and amazing service! I left something in my room, and they have an online submission and they sent it out so quickly while I was still traveling! Very nicely ce and attentive staff, and the 25th floor restaurant is beautiful and delicious!
Lola L — Google review
Clean rooms and bathroom. Super friendly and helpful staff. Quiet rooms. Excellent breakfast. Why not 5 stars? Because of the bed. It is two twin beds put next to each other with totally separate thin mattresses. Beds separated slowly during the night.
S. I — Google review
Good quality rooms, well maintained. The building itself is pretty boring and rigid looking but the inside is nice and spacious, and served a very good buffé, with a very wide range to chose from. The service was great, for breakfast. The service up on the rooftop bar was almost nonexistent when we came. Waited and no-one served us. The elevators were taking forever to come and u also had to figure out that one elevator was only for rooftop bar, as well as u had to beep the card before pressing any button, didn't see any Indications for that. I suppose a large building g like that has some unavoidable logistics issues.
Adela B — Google review
Our family of three spent three nights in a superior room of this four star hotel, well situated in relation to interesting places in Malmö. We experienced at least seven mishaps during our stay most probably due to inexperienced personnel. The room was booked for three but there were only towels for two, soap dispensers were empty and when ordering refills it took 45 min before someone showed up, our filled breakfast plates were repeatedly removed and our table given to other guests etc, etc. Trying to book a table in their top floor restaurant via the reception was impossible even two days in advance but when taking the elevator to the 25th floor there was place available. The superior rooms are dull and simple with basic equipment. You have to take your shower in the bath tub without anti slip pattern, not so good for older folks who also prefer a long to a short shoe horn. Breakfast is matching the start rating without any surprises. If you come by car you should park in the nearby city garage rather than in the parking under the hotel, about twice as expensive. Overall a mixed and not reassuring experience.

The elegant interior features expansive windows and a spacious outdoor terrace where guests can savor Asian-inspired dishes alongside expertly crafted cocktails. Kasai in the Sky takes brunch to new heights with its innovative offerings that celebrate Japanese cuisine.
Kasai in the Sky in Malmö is an excellent spot for both food and atmosphere. The rooftop location offers stunning views of the city, making it a great choice for a special evening out. The cocktails were definite highlights. The staff were attentive and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it for the quality of food and the ambiance. Highly recommended for a memorable night out!

Sashimi was fresh and great! Highly recommend this one if you are looking for a good quality of sashimi. The sushi menus were good, too. We tried every of their cocktail. They were all tasty except for the spicy one that was not really for me. Also liked the view from the W/C

Good food but quite slow service, overpriced though.. Didn’t like the fact that dogs are allowed at their restaurant. Pets should not be allowed in any restaurant but anyway, respect the policy but just not happy with it. Music was way too loud Nice view
Travel W — Google review
The atmosphere is nice. We ordered the Sushi collection which was good portion to be shared by two. Initially, we just ordered Sake for a drink but then as we had to wait for a long time for our food we ordered some more drinks, the cocktail was very tasty! It’s a pricy meal, you pay mostly for the view and the vibe. I booked a week in advance however we got a table at the side where we couldn’t see the sunset. So definitely make sure you state you want the seaside.

Very arrogant staff. We went for drinks at 21:30 when the closing timing was 23:00. He told us we have only 5 minutes to order otherwise we have to leave as they already closed the kitchen. Very bad customer service. Wouldnt recommend it , better save your money and go to Copenhagen.

Pâtisserie David, located in the Caroli neighborhood of Malmo, has been delighting locals with its delectable pastries for 15 years. The founder, David Fernandes, a Portuguese baker trained in France and Luxembourg, brings a unique blend of culinary influences to his bakery. Despite being one of the older establishments in the area, Pâtisserie David is often overlooked amidst newer trendy spots.
High quality cakes and pastries. Great ambience when it’s not too full with seating both indoors and out. Definitely one of those places I’d frequent.

Patisserie David is a gorgeous, cosy and well stocked patisserie that is located in the quaint city of Malmo in Sweden. It has a serene atmosphere and is one of the best coffee houses in town. It is known for its French and Portuguese-inspired pastries, and an amazing variety at that, including vegetarian-friendly options. We both felt that their coffee was not just good, it was excellent. So were their croissants and flans. The service is friendly and efficient. The seating outside in full sunshine was really welcoming while inside offers a rather quaint experience which almost takes you back in time. Epic!

This Swedish bakery offers delightful pastries and a pleasant coffee experience under the sun. However, the outdoor seating could use some improvement, and the presence of an underground door and a group of actors frequently interrupting the area detracts from the overall comfort. Despite these issues, the tasty treats make it worth a visit.

Cafe
Systrar & Bröder is a beloved café and bakery in Malmo that offers a delightful breakfast buffet on weekdays starting at 7:30 am. The place is known for its excellent coffee, classic strawberry cake, and attention to detail in both its food and interior design. The staff is friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere with their positive energy. Visitors appreciate the cozy retro decor and the diverse selection of food available at the breakfast buffet.
This place knows what it is doing. The coffee was excellent and the strawberry cake was a classic joy munch. A lot of love is put into the details, from fresh wild flowers decorating the tables to the balanced mix between cafe/cake house and buffet servings and interior design. All on a background of soft jazz, that doesn’t dominate the atmosphere. The staff is kind and accommodating, they accept cash and broke a big bill for me. The food prices are reasonable for the area. I base all of this on my first impressions after a short visit. I wonder if they serve a good hot chocolate? Ps. I am a Dane living in Malmö.

It's important to realise that this is a cafeteria. In a transit town as this is, finding a place with clean, handmade food can be as rare as winter strawberries. Everything was put together in a deliberate way, and the better for it.

What a lovely place, the staff wasnt only friendly they seemed to be in a good mood and spread a positiv energy that made everyone feel welcome and happy. I had the breakfast buffet (brunch). It was a big variety of items to choose from, starting form bread to dessert. It all looked good, but taste wise it was a bit blunt. Nostra Café is a charming and inviting spot situated near the Triangeln station, offering a serene atmosphere during weekdays, making it an ideal place to savor a delicious coffee while working. The friendly staff ensures a pleasant experience. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, generously portioned lunches with fresh flavors, or just a quick coffee, this café has got you covered. On weekends, it tends to get busy with a no-laptop policy in place.
It's amazing to see when businesses actually care about the customers' experiences and always try to learn and do better. After a previous visit, which went terrible, Nostra responded and offered to fix the situation. This time, I have no comments - in the best way. Food and coffee is delicious, but again, the way Nostra handled a previous mistake means so much! I wish more places cared this much.

Excellent cafe for breakfast/brunch or lunch. Although their breakfast menu stops at 11, they had poached eggs with salmon on a bread (Similar to Eggs Benedict) on their lunch menu. It was excellent. Their fresh brewed coffee is very good too. Very friendly staff and fast service. Nice and relatively calm vibes. Highly recommended!

Fast service and okay prices. The carrot cake was okay but nothing special.
Joanna C — Google review
Ok, I visited this place twice. Sunday evening and Monday morning. Coffee both times was excellent. 👌🏽 however both shifts the stuff was arrogantly-relaxed, if I may call it so. Slightly not caring and when I asked for specifics of the coffee they had no clue of what I’m asking for. One can see that the owners care for a good coffee experience, but the stuff doesn’t. Also the tables and shelves and books and all the decorations were dusty and sticky both time. My pancakes were not cooked inside and the stuff offered me a croissant 🥐 instead. So overall, a place to take your coffee to go, since at least the main product is still very good.

Mormors in Malmö is one of those chains where you hardly get what you pay for. And this Mormors is no different. The prices are low but so is the quality. The breakfast buffé is one of the more adorable but it is also one of the most basic ones. No bad, but nothing really good either. This café is huge, lots of space and seldom busy. For some reason connected with Lidl next door. The staff is not unfriendly but just like everything else the service is kept to a absolute minimum. Great for when Im feeling poor, but low on the list any other day. As a cheap breakfast place it gets 3 stars (just dont expect anything fancy/great variety) as a café it gets 2 stars.

Never had the food but the coffee is the best I’ve had in Malmö. Nice outdoor seating in the sun, cozy interior too. Not necessarily a negative, but worth mentioning in case you are expecting to work from here: the WiFi is either not working or not reliable. Maybe perfect if you need to write a novel with minimal distractions.

Hippie-style cafeteria, with quite okay cappuccino and delicious cakes! Seats were quite uncomfortable, weird photos were hanged on the walls and music a bit annoying, but the service was very good! Would visit again, if everything else in that area is closed.

Greatest morning vibes in this neighborhood coffee place. Light tends to come in through the window and everyone seems to be there sharing a collective state of calmness. Good coffee also!
JP T — Google review
Edit: Haven't been here for quite a while. They have teared down a wall making the place much bigger. The decor is much better! The plant liven the place up and now it feel more cozy than before. The cake is still great as is the music. But the espresso is noticeable worse. I think I will be going here more often from now on, but maybe not for espresso. This smal café feels somewhat baren and cold, white walls and hard wooden furniture. But that is the only negative. The owner (?) is friendly, the espresso was great and the cake was delicious. Bonus for great music and stile.

Whether it's for lunch or dinner, visitors are consistently pleased with the delectable dishes and excellent service at MJ’s. The restaurant exudes great vibes and offers creative, mouthwatering cuisine that makes every visit worthwhile.
My husband and I had our wedding lunch celebration at MJ’s Restaurang with family from Sweden and from Belgium, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Planning was so smooth, and they went the extra mile by decorating with balloons, which made it feel even more special. The food was incredible—especially their vegetarian dishes, which even our meat-loving guests raved about! The atmosphere and interior were stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Plus, it’s dog-friendly, which was a big bonus for us! We recommend this place for any occasion!

Dagens lunch for 165 kr, options of veg, fish, meat with salad and bread. Coffee and cake included. Took the ling and confit duck leg today which was lovely, however, the salad should’ve been cut in smaller bits, it was out of control. Lovely ambience. Will return for the dinner menu 🤩
Prism B — Google review
The atmosphere is on the top! Very chill and relaxing. The service was also great. We tried the tasting menu. I expected a little bit higher quality, amount and creativity of the food at this price. We were a bit disappointed with 2 out of 4 dishes which were too simple and too easy to make. We shared the same thoughts that we could make these dishes easily at home by our own. We left the restaurant and could not remember the dishes we had. This, for us, the food was not memorable. However, the atmosphere and the staff gave us a great impression and a wonderful night! Overall, we paid for the atmosphere and the services, not the food!

I’ve visited MJ in Malmö a few times, and I’m finally leaving a review because each visit just keeps getting better! One of the main reasons we keep coming back is the atmosphere. MJ truly has one of the best interiors in Malmö, with high ceilings, gorgeous plants, beautiful furniture, and just a wonderful vibe overall. Then, of course, there’s the food. They’ve updated their menu since our last visit, now focusing on starters and mid-sized portions. We tried a variety of dishes, like beef tartar, fish, and some vegetarian options. Everything was delicious, well-cooked, and made with high-quality ingredients. Lastly, the service is always top-notch. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always with a smile, which makes the experience even better. I definitely recommend MJ for anyone looking for a great meal and a fantastic ambiance in Malmö!

We decided to check out this café after hearing great reviews from friends in the city. They have an outdoor seating and an indoor space on the first level. After a bit of wait in the queue, ordered Dark Chocolate Cheesecake and Pecan Cheesecake to go as we had a train to catch. A slice of their cheesecake can be devoured by 2 as the portion is large. Loved the dark chocolate one as it wasn’t overly sweet. The Pecan cheesecake was good too but a tad sweet for my liking.

we come here according to the advices we saw on the internet. we tried the cheesecake but it contained lots of chocolate and sugar. we did not like it unfortunately. the cheesecake itself was good but the topping made it very heavy

Most delicious crossiant I've ever had. The staff were kind and welcoming also made lovely tea and coffee. Definitely would recommend as a lovely start to Sweden.

The food being offered is filled with way too much chocolate to cover up the dry and bland taste of the cakes/ sweets. The prices are very steep for what you get. The location itself is alright and has a cozy vibe, but it’s just not worth it.

Amazed by the variety of cheesecakes available. The best cheesecakes to try in Malmö. Very satisfied and happy. Good recommendation by the staff and cozy ambience.
Saahil B — Google review
Famous for its cheesecakes and OMG well deserved reputation. I took the Daim cheesecake which is a game changer, while causing sugar rush of course. Its a huge slice, perfectly baked, generously topped with Daim and hazelnut cream. Free water is available downstairs, which you will definitely need throughout this sweet journey. It costs 80 SEK, which is nothing compared to the experience! Don't miss it when you are in Malmö, just as good as Cheesecake Factory;) Update - April 2024: we arrived around 6 pm, and they did not have Daim cheesecake anymore so I decided to try the strawberry brownie cheesecake. OMG it was massive, 1 slice definitely feeds 2 adults. The crust is also made of brownie or some chocolate stuff, the cheesecake part is amazing still, and they topped it with huge chunks of brownies, strawberries and chocolate. It could be too much for some people but for me it was just phenomenal 😊

While outdoor seating is limited due to the lack of heaters or shade, the chai latte comes highly recommended. Visitors praise this coffee shop for its great food, delicious coffee, and pleasant atmosphere, making it possibly the best in town.

I came there just to use the toilet, and since I’m pregnant I can not hold so long. I went up and the red headed worker was running after me and was so aggressive, by saying that I can not use the toilet because Im not a customer. I’m not expecting to have a nice service if I’m not a customer, but I’m expecting them to be humans :) Hope she is proud

It seems that the managers don't care about the atmosphere of this store: it's dirty, furniture in bad condition, depressive atmosphere with too many brown and grey-ish details, and the product are overpriced. One must pay vis app to get 10% "discount" of the overrated prices. Additionally, they tend to renew the personal every few months without educating enough to offer "worlds best coffee" as they advertising. Lame..!

Espresso House is a popular coffee chain in Sweden, with a branch located at Malmo C that's known for being work-friendly. The café offers a good selection of vegetarian and vegan food options alongside their excellent coffee, which includes plant milk choices. The cozy interior features wooden elements and plenty of plants, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Despite some occasional issues like the barista machine being out of order on certain days, the service is generally efficient with self-pickup orders.
Everything okay, large selection of drinks and food. Pleasant atmosphere, soft music, nice seating. 🌼

This Malmö franchise of Espresso House was one the largest we visited whilst holidaying in Copenhagen and Malmö. The Cappuccino was great and the space available to relax and unwind was perfect. However, be warned there is only one toilet for the entire cafe, which was crazy for a shop of this size. It was fairly quiet when we visited and yet there were still queues to use the facilities.... Other than that it's a great coffee house in and great location.

Very good Swedish Carrot Cake and Cappuccino. Service is fine. It’s the only cafe amongst other restaurants in Malmo Food Hall. Not bad seating area. Recommended
Mishal A — Google review
Extremely expensive — one of the most overpriced fika places I’ve ever eaten at. 55+kr for a chai latte, for example. It costs even to compare to cities like Copenhagen, Oslo, or Reykjavik. At least in those places, the high prices often reflect the quality. Here, the portion was small, the taste a bit too sweet for my taste, and again — very pricey. Definitely not worth it. The waitress didn't know if the products were gluten and dairy free (that is fine) but didn't know where to check it at first, it took a while to figure it out. Could have been better. You’re better off choosing almost any other place, if you have in mind price and value.

Lotta Love Superfoodbar is a long-standing vegan cafe in Malmo, known for its healthy food options and popular smoothies and smoothie bowls. Established in 2014, it was initially focused on offering delicious Acai bowls but has since expanded its menu to include weekend brunch, vegan burgers, smoothies, juices, and eco-coffee. While the decor is charming, some areas may feel a bit empty. The staff is friendly but could improve on communication about order times.
It’s a cozy place with tasty and light vegan food. The smoothie bowl was a pretty large portion, nice amount of peanut butter, fruits were fresh. It’s just a little chaotic when it comes to the service but I guess it’s a result of a large number of orders. The chocolate cake was dense, sweet and thick. I liked it 😃 the size was OK to feel satisfied. Coffee was OK. Yes, I’d go there to try something else.

Nice place, the decor when you enter is perfect but some places in the local it feels a bit barren and empty. The espresso was okay, nothing special. Staff was friendly but did not inform us that it would take quite a while for us to get our order. That's okay, sometimes it takes extra time, but communicate that to me so that I dont start to wonder if I was forgotten 😉 The bowl was perfect, so good that it compensated for some of the other little stuff that felt lacking. Will be coming back!

Lotta Love have the best açaí bowls. ❤️ I still dream about them, but I’m never in the area anymore… Their bowls are generous in size and full of super delicious stuff. I always get disappointed when I have bowls elsewhere, both in terms of quality and size. Also, their granola is to die for. 🤤

Centrally located bakery, and quick lunch place, close to the central train station. This is a great place to grab a coffee, tea, lunch before you have to get on a train. If you arrive at the right time of the year, you should try the Swedish Lent bun - Semla (a sweet bun, that’s hollowed out and filled with almond paste and whipped cream). This place serves one of the best interpretation of this very classical Swedish treat, that I found in Malmö. Their food options include healthy sandwiches, soup, and other quick lunch bites. The staff is knowledgeable about allergies and will guide you to the best option. The seating area is filled with eclectic chairs and couches, reminiscing of a Swedish grandmothers living room.

Super convenient for folks using the central train station. Drinks, sandwiches, pastries, and breads all ready quickly to be eaten in or taken away. After arriving on a morning train we enjoyed lunch on the outdoor terrace and brought pastry with us for the rest of our day. As we were departing Malmö we used the St. Jakobs inside the train station to get a snack before going to the track. To be clear, this would be a good bakery even if it weren't so convenient to the train station, but it's an amazing option for travelers!

Klättercentret Malmo is a popular bouldering gym with a good selection of walls and multiple payment options for convenience. The staff is attentive, and there's cheap food in the cafeteria. The gym offers lots of space, different grades, and regular wall updates. It also features a cool cafe, loaner shoes, various levels of tracks, and a cozy sauna. However, it can get crowded in the evenings.
This place is awesome! I’ve been going there 2-3 times a week for a while and i love it. The atmosphere is delightful and it feels like home when I arrive. Staff is super friendly and caring. One guy recommended me to buy a shoe that was cheaper than the one I was looking at proving that staff cares a lot about the people rather than money. They have a variety of clothes there and a lot of equipment both for outdoors climbing, indoors climbing and at home training. The cafe is also nice, not expensive and very pleasant to eat, especially at the cafe lounge they have. Love the gym too, very nice and I love the variety. A lot of different attachments and boards for finger training etc. The walls are also amazing, they get changed frequently enough to notice a change aswell as having new routes to climb almost every time you go there but also keeping every newly changed route for a bit, long enough to project it. Big variety in route styles and difficulty with 3’s to 8a (highest difficulty I’ve seen so far, I’m sure there is harder at different times) Highly recommend to check it out atleast once. Great for kids too. Lastly I’d like to say that the community is extraordinarily great. I’ve gotten so much help through the months when struggling with routes that I couldnt climb. People just step forward and give you tips or help on new techniques that you’ve never heard of. I’m far more experienced now because of the people that have helped me spontaneously. Always keep in mind to help others and to be nice to everyone! 10/10🙏

Best bouldering in Malmö. Multiple options for payment for tour convenience, staff that cares, cheap food in the cafeteria for that extra energy on a long session or just the awesome café for the non-climbing friend or partner. Walls are updated at an excellent pace for projecting but still having new things each week. A good shop for apparel and shoes, although that part is a bit more expensive, you can test shoes (not on the walls but there's a small chip board and sometimes they have shoe testing days on the wall). They're also opening a place in Helsingborg which is perfect for me. Picture is just a sample of one feature - there are 3 climbing halls with all types of climbing.

Gateau is not as cozy as some café chains but the quality of cake, espresso and drinks are better than espressohouse in my opinion. This place is nicely located near several buss stops. Always good. Improvement could be if they added some new bread/foods for early breakfast. But the regular menu is variated and you can sit outside in the summer which is a plus.

Consistently good bakery. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent Swedish breads and cakes and great coffee. Just been renovated and very nice decor/atmosphere. Lose one star because they don’t have pain au chocolat - I know this is Sweden not France but seriously, who doesn’t love flaky choc pastries!

Relax and chill environment. A place to work remotely while enjoying your coffee.

High-quality though large-scale. Prices somewhat high, but some products are excellent. All the cakes for example are light and very tasty.
Paul M — Google review
I come here exclusively for the bread (baguettes, buns and grand blanc) and it’s top quality. Strongly recommended.

The 2 pastries we got for 35SEK weren't fresh. Our princess cake smelled like cheese and tasted sour. The second pastry, an éclair au chocolat was both dry on top and soaked at the bottom.

(Translated by Google) Breakfast in Amin's pastry shop that morning while waiting for IKEA to open in Malmö. Nice choice of cakes to enjoy with a coffee in a welcoming room. Amin left an impression on us with his welcome and his kindness. Very nice meeting and great sharing about Sweden just before our return to France. Bakery and pastry shop particularly well located for us because it is very close (5 minutes) to IKEA and the Öresund Bridge.

(Translated by Google) Most disgusting semlan I have ever tasted. The cream, or whatever white mass it was, was strangely firm and tasted only of fat. The bun dull, the almond mass was edible. (Original) Vidrigaste semlan jag någonsin smakat. Grädden, eller vad det nu var för vit massa, var konstigt fast och smakade bara fett. Bullen trist, mandelmassan var ätbar.

(Translated by Google) Affordable and tasty! Toast, cake and a soft drink for 45 bucks. Cute guy at the till too 😊. Good luck with the expansion of the premises! (Original) Prisvärt och gott! Toast, kaka och en läsk för 45 spänn. Gullig kille i kassan också 😊. Lycka till med utökningen av lokalen!
