What an impressive team. They all worked hard, and most smiling with it (some even singing together!) Lots of choice available, and kids options too. One person seems mainly dedicated to keeping the place clean and tidy, an excellent touch. Order at counter, or scan the code. Rather stingy food portions (boss breakfast (£15) = 1 sausage and 2 small bits of bacon, no tomato, and half a mushroom!).  However food is all of high quality. Home made hash browns! Pretty fast service, (13 minutes from order). Chef seems well organised, and plate presentation is good. Staff working together as a team remarkably well. Not a great coffee. Dog friendly Free Wi-Fi Delivery available. There was one small issue, but the staff got on it with care immediately. Overall I'd like to see the ability to add more individual items, and better coffee, but the team work excellently together, and produce delicious food. You get what you pay for, and this place made us happy.

Was greeted by Jamie, very welcoming and polite. Very clean and tidy. Tables clean with no sticky residue! Kiz served at the till and was very nice, got my order correct and quick service. And the reuse cups are soo cool! Nice space and overall feel. Just off the main high street and very close to parking options so a great location. Definitely be returning.

Went for coffee and brunch here this morning with a group of 10! Had the most lovely welcome from staff, they made space for us all. It was a lovely atmosphere in there, really easy to order either using the QR code or up at the till. The menu had great options, everyone in our group highly rated their food and drinks! We got smoothies, coffees, pastries and breakfasts.. all tasted amazing and we will definitely come back! Thank you.

Jamie gave us such a lovely experience – his service was warm, friendly and fun, and nothing was too much trouble. I’ve also noticed how kind, bubbly and helpful he is with other tables too, which really stands out. The food is always great, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Even when it’s busy, the place is tidy and clean. It’s spacious enough for a pushchair, welcoming of dogs, and has a really safe, inclusive feel. A brilliant spot all round!

We hosted a networking lunch here and it was perfect! Allergies and dietary requirements were catered for no problem and the customer service and food were perfect! Jen in particular was amazing throughout the process. Couldn’t recommend more!

We came across The Boston Tea Party by accident and it has now become a favourite. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. The food is lovely, very nicely cooked and presented. Always a treat to come here. Thank you.

Where do you even start with this without writing an essay? Came here with my parents and brother for a family day out together and absolutely loved it. Handed a map at the start which would be useful for a first time visitor, but as we had all been before we just wandered around to all our usual favorites. Bayleaf farmhouse, Tudor kitchen, Watermill, Blacksmith etc. Just come as you are and take things at your own pace. Whichever way you go you will not be disappointed and a day will not be enough time to do it all. The quality of food on offer at the Cafe was surprisingly good, and not in my opinion overly expensive either. Plan your refreshment visit not to coincide with the lunchtime rush (unless it is lunch you are after of course) If I had to level one small criticism here it would be accessibility. None of the tracks seemed entirely wheelchair friendly with coarse gravel and larger stones being commonplace. Even my father who still walks but with the aid of a stick, took to walking on the adjacent grass verges for much of our visit as he found it easier. All things considered definitely worth a visit, and maybe even a repeat visit to explore new areas or revisit old favorites.

What a lovely museum! We loved how big it was and filled with all different kinds of animals and trails to go exploring down. They are even dog friendly and have and indoor and outdoor dog friendly section of the cafe. Definitely recommend getting lunch at the cafe, was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food. Good value for money!

It is 55 years since last visiting and it has certainly changed! We had a really enjoyable 3 hours viewing a wide range of houses and other rural buildings. I cannot recommend a visit more highly and seeing the Repair Shop barn was a real bonus!

Great place to learn about the past! Although the buildings are a bit mixed, that’s the point as they’ve been saved from other areas and meticulously put back together. To my suprise I went on the day there was a hand made fair so you could buy items, or watch talks on how things were made, built and maintained throughout history. A highlight for me was someone to talk about most of the buildings in each place you went. But your tickets online in advance as it’s cheaper although sadly no apple or Google pay.

Great place to visit! So many beautiful old buildings saved and preserved for future generations. The volunteers were knowledgable and friendly. You have the added bonus of seeing where The Repair Shop is filmed too! I would highly recommend a visit!

Both my partner and I are fans of The Repair Shop and when we found out we could visit where it was filmed we leapt at it. I have a Blue Light card so got a small reduction on entry fee. It’s not cheap but you can easily spend the whole day here. So much to see and there are excellent facilities too. Cafe was fantastic too but if you pack a picnic there are large swathes of grassy areas with benches to sit at (just take a rubbish bag with you).

We had a lovely visit here . The grounds and exhibit were fantastic. We had three disabled people in our party and some of the grounds weren't to kind to mobility issues . But it was a lovely day the cafe was lovely with a great selection on food which was delicious. The gift shop was lovely too selling thier own flour ( for baking ) to books , skin products and children's educational toys . I would of rated a five if not for the disability issues .

Really good location in the centre of Chichester North Street. I had the traditional breakfast, which was well cooked with proper butcher sausage. Price was very reasonable for the location and quality of the food.

Excellent place to eat in Chichester. It was recommended to me and overall didn't disappoint. I had the share platter with dip, chorizo, bread, dumplings, pickles etc. Very filling and tasty. I then had the Bills flowerpot dessert but found it a bit disappointing. It looks great, but there was too much chocolate soil which tasted like Oreo cookies so not what I was expecting. The filling hardly tasted of passionfruit to me and in the end I could only eat about half the dessert. Glass of wine was good and service was friendly and attentive.

Went for dessert withy family, served by Elysia. Gave excellent recommendations and was prepared to have a laugh. Would recommend. Also they take blue light card 20% off.

We went to this restaurant with our friends this morning It was one of the best restaurant in the UK The food quality the service was perfect There was a lady called ANA and she was so kind and welcoming, and provided the best service But the scones was not as good as the food was. I strongly recommend this place 😋

Came for desserts this evening. Staff were lovely and food was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Service was 10/10 could not fault it one bit starters were out with in literally one minute and drinks staff so friendly and food was all delicious 10/10 to the chef highly recommend, beautiful stunning food service the lot xx

Our server (maryam) came quickly and took our orders. Our friend had a nut allergy and they handled the situation perfectly and asked many questions to ensure that she has alternative options. We had the £5 bottomless pancakes and they was lovely. 100% will come back again had a great experience!!

4 of us had a delicious lunch, perfectly cooked food. The Mediterranean breakfast is a triumph. We will be back.

We stopped off for breakfast last Sunday morning and it was delicious. The service was phenomenal. The full English was amazing, my son got the omelet which he loved and my buddy got the Mediterranean breakfast. All of us gave it 10 out of 10.

I don't understand why no one mentioned that you have to wait for half an hour for an English breakfast when the kitchen is fully staffed. I can see every table has been bored of waiting for their food after finishing the drinks served initially. Waitress didn't give heads up or apologies at all. Extremely slow service and average-quality food. Nice place and setup though. Ordered English breakfast and eggs royale.

Had a great meal at The Fat Fig recently. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was really lovely—full of flavour and nicely presented. It does get quite busy, and it was pretty humid inside, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. Overall though, a solid spot for a good meal—worth checking out if you're in the area.

We came for brunch. Great atmosphere with big open windows keeping the restaurant cool and fresh. The staff were excellent and smiley giving us enough time to choose what we wanted. Quite affordable and everything was presented very well. Looking over at other tables we saw the food and drinks we will order for next time we come. Great experience for brunch!

Found this little gem in town, went in for breakfast last weekend and was delighted with everything. The place was spotless, even looking up at the ceiling lights and corners were clean and no cobwebs, the staff were friendly and bustling around anyone that came in getting them seated and welcomed. Breakfast came in no time at all and everything we ordered was great 5 star all the way. Definitely be going back soon.

I found this cafe purely by chance; while I was visiting an adjacent shop I could see an outside dining area through a window. Service was pleasant and I was served quickly. My prawn and avocado salad was delicious. The avocado was missing, but this was spotted straightaway (I hadn't even noticed!) and brought straight out, so no problems at all. There was plenty of seating and it felt very relaxing. Prices were very reasonable and I will definitely return.

Excellent all around: food came quickly and tasted delicious, coffee was made using a proper coffee machine, reasonably priced (under £40 for two adults and two children) and free WiFi included. Faultless in all regards. Would highly recommend!

I visited with my partner and friend on Sunday. I appreciate it was busy but the staff were not very welcoming and failed to inform us they had “no ingredients” for any of the platters or salads until we wanted to order. Food was tasty enough, not particularly high quality but did not have to wait too long.

Ended up having breakfast here due to the shocking weather which delayed our visit to the Goodwood Revival. It appears to be the earliest opening breakfast venue in the area at 7:45am which suited us perfectly, with very close parking. We all participated in the Charlie Harper breakfast with a variety of coffees. What a pleasant surprise - excellent food, great quality meat, lovely friendly service from the waitress and good coffee. This will now be my favourite breakfast venue in Chichester. Thanks.

Excellent - having not been for some time, it was as good as I had promised. We had really good coffee and wonderful cakes at a very reasonable price! The flow of customers was constant and of all ages so it really is a very popular cafe.

Nice little hideaway. Reasonable breakfast, though eggs very undercooked. They're happy to adapt orders to suit your preference. Polite staff. Reasonably quick service. Pretty busy

This was our first meal in the UK, and we were looking for fish and chips. The size and quality of the meal was better than expected. Located right on the beach with a nice view of the channel. One word of caution, not about the restaurant, but the parking. Don't make the same mistake we did. You need to pay for parking. We weren't there long and got a ticket.

The Beach has a main inside cafe as well as a seafront outside food truck with plenty of beach view seating! I was peckish for a bacon bap, so I ordered a sausage and bacon bap and as you can see it was absolutely stacked! Great portion sizes here for sure! You receive a buzzer when ordering so that you can find a seat whilst your order is prepared. This truely was a great find and I will definitely be coming here more often in the summer months. I love East Wittering, and The Beach at the beach only makes the town better!

What a great find, welcomed by a helpful gentleman and got a table with a sea view. The staff were all friendly and chatty. The freshly squeezed orange juice hit the spot, followed by a delicious, well cooked, served on a hot plate veggie breakfast. My mum had the potato dish with bacon n sausages, unfortunately it was described as potato slices but was actually broken hash browns but full of bacon and sausage with very well cooked poached eggs. A mum and kids group where there, one child constantly whinning and not addressed by mother which continued for most of our meal, until the traffic warden arrived and the mums left, the childs noise ruined the ambience for us and people around us who were also commenting. Would go back

A busy Monday lunch time and the team were obviously short staffed yet managed to accommodate us and look after us as if they had all the staff members! I had the fish finger sandwich (may as well have been fish and chips with some beautifully baked bread) and the hubby had the moules frites. Never a bigger bowl of moules had we seen!

Surprised to get a table at 9am on a Saturday… now I can see why. Coffee took 20 minutes to arrive and there were only three other tables in. I ordered French toast and was given plain, floppy bread that hadn’t seen a pan, let alone an egg. My husband’s “overnight oats” were more like “five-minutes-ago oats” - cold, rushed, and sad. The staff at the front were lovely but clearly left to fend for themselves, with no backup from management as there was no one there. Honestly, I left hungry and baffled. Won’t be back - unless it’s to return the bread so it can finish becoming toast.

Fantastic location food delicious but mostly service excellent.We have a bit of a nervous dog and they went out of their way to make him and us super comfy.Thank you

EDIT: Since becoming The Beach, it doesn’t seem as good as it once was. My previous 5 star and comment below was certainly typical of a usual visit for breakfast for example. However, the latest visit in July 2025 had cold food, ingredients of a lesser quality, low stock and the flat white served in the smallest cup available I couldn’t even get my finger in the handle. Such a shame. I hope things improve but I doubt we’d be back for a while. Always a pleasure to visit!

Read the reviews and decided to give it a try for a hearty breakfast before a wedding we were attending. Place was very busy which was a plus and we managed to get seated straight away. Waitress was very helpful and attentive. They were running about getting everyone what they wanted. Our breakfast was served on very hot plates (another plus). Food was lovely, very tasty and a huge selection on the menu. Very happy we chose here and would totally recommend for a good breakfast to set you up for the day.

FANTASTIC This cafe is the best value cafe with excellent freshly cooked food. Portions size is off the scale. Staff and owner are the nicest people, very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. We were a family of 7 and we phoned to say we are on the way and could they accommodate and they had a table all set up for us when we arrived. Well done Waves, keep doing what you're doing because it works.

Lovely cafe. Really welcoming and friendly service. We stopped for lunch I had a fresh crusty roll with egg mayo and fresh salad. My husband opted for the specials board of cottage pie with fresh veg and roast potatoes. All the food was fresh and very tasty. All this and 2 teas for less than £20! Amazing value. Highly recommend!

We had my son’s 4th birthday party at Aldingbourne Country Centre and it was absolutely fantastic! There was so much for the children to do, whatever the weather, and they all had the best time. The party room was set up beautifully and the food spread was perfect for the children. What really stood out was how brilliantly the team catered for my son’s multiple, severe allergies. They went above and beyond to make sure he could eat the same as his friends, which meant so much to us. They were open and clear about ingredients, giving me real reassurance, exactly what every allergy parent needs. We are so grateful to the team for making the whole experience so special, safe, and fun. Highly recommend for parties!

A lovely place for families, with a great play area for children and plenty of activities to enjoy. The setting is beautiful, with that peaceful countryside feel that makes it perfect for a relaxed day out. Unfortunately, the food really let the experience down. I was absolutely starving and thought a bacon and sausage sandwich would be the perfect choice at a country park near the South Downs in West Sussex. At £9.40, I expected something freshly cooked and satisfying, but what I got was dry, overcooked, and frankly disappointing. The bread and sausages looked cheap, and there hardly any bacon. For that price, it should have been something special, but it felt more like a petrol station snack. See the picture Such a shame, as the café could really match the quality of the rest of the park if the food were improved. Great for kids and families, but if you are planning to eat, you might want to bring your own lunch.

We recently went camping here and what they offer is great especially if you have young kids. However it is right next to a dual carriageway so if you are a light sleeper then this will disturb you a lot. The showers were good but the toilets were unisex and shared with day visitors and weren’t cleaned often enough which isn’t great because it isn’t a cheap place to camp for a weekend.

Great day out with my 3 year old. Lots to do and really good value. The activities are all smaller than you get from the more expensive farm/play places, but we spent a happy 4 hours there. The cafe looked really good but we brought lunch with us so didn't try it - we will next time.

We went for our first camping trip on their electric supply field and it was amazing! The staff are superb especially Mark who looked after us from meeting us at the gate to every morning and evening welfare checking on all 15 pitches An amazing venue and great for no dog lovers! Will be coming again Thanks again Mark!

Really lovely place, you could easily spend a good few hours here. Everyone we spoke to was really friendly and ticket prices were reasonable to get in. I like how there’s a seperate baby soft play, and my baby really enjoyed the sandpit and dipping her feet in the water play area. Lots of hand sanitisers dotted about and the toilet and baby facilities were clean and tidy. Great day out!

Order from here regularly and they CANNOT get an order right... the coke is mostly soda water and tastes vile. The food always arrives at room temperature. And they CANNOT put sauces in whether you pay for them or not. just sick of it! Edit: once again, cannot get it right …. I almost threw up when I bit into this !!

Quick stop on Sunday early evening in July for a burger. Concerned to find the soap dispenser in male toilets broken and no replacement soap. Can you even imagine how much more faeces currently makes its way around the restaurant at the moment. Accepting many blokes don’t both washing their hands but here none of us can!!

So they will take orders depending on the person. Do not use this one. I will be taking up a civil suit for the way they treat people They turned off the machines even though there is still time and other people are ordering. This store manager should not be allowed to own this restaurant. They tell me to use the app but then say they arnt serving. Manager removed her name tag. Complaint will be maid

After finishing work the other day, I thought grabbing a McDonalds would be in order. I guess it’s my fault for wanting one, as I proceeded to wait exactly 30 minutes for my order. I was absolutely tired after work so standing there for half hour had me feeling ill. But even after 30 minutes stood around waiting, they still gave me the wrong drink. I do have sympathy for fast food workers, they often face a lot of abuse and I don’t see the need to crash out. But management is obviously struggling at this place. Also, couldn’t order it to the Click and Serve as there was just people sat there eating. And the drive thru was backed up on the main road.

This MacDonalds is always very busy. The drive through can be quick. It does have extensive seating inside and outside but often not too clean when busy. They offer the full range of UK MacDonalds products here at the normal price. Expect to wait about 15 minutes for food here if sitting in as they prioritise the drive through.

Staff at this store have a habit for forgetting parts of your order, plus do not use uber eats as you will never get your money back. Chips are never hot and drinks always warm. Why you ask because they make then and let them sit. Want to know how to avoid this? for drinks ask with no ice and last second ask for ice. And no salt on chips. They have no choice but to make them fresh.

Nipped in late at night, a little snoozy around midnight needing a little snack and hot drink while driving back to Brighton. Simple order: nugs, chips and a hot chocolate which was presented quickly and simply. On my first sip of the drink I heard a strange noise, a sort of wailing sound, then my chest and stomach got wet. I quickly realised that the sound was coming from me and the "drink" was falling out of my mouth. It had been served to me at a temperature that could have only been produced directly from the sun or potentially from the Large Hadron Collider trying to recreate the big bang. I don't even think it was liquid, it had so much heat energy in it that it must have been some sort of plasma or pure perpetual energy beam. My mouth was instantly blistered, probably permanently damaged and I imagine there is likely some wider implications for my entire central nervous system. Once my screaming had stopped I called to the manager and other staff for water or ice or anything, who asked me to order on the screen. I asked why they had served me a chemical weapon instead of a delicious sweet chocolate drink but they were unresponsive. It's now two days later and the blisters are still on my tongue with my sense of taste and texture all but gone. I don't think the hot chocolate service is suitable for consumption by humans but may be useful for something in the world of modern warfare or perhaps fingerprint removal.

We called in at coffee shop nearby, but they had no vegan products. So we crossed the road and found that Trading Post Coffee had lots of options that I could eat. The staff wanted to know coffee I’d like; my wife said I was fussy about coffee, so they provided a smooth coffee. I had a marmalade and pistachio flapjack and my wife had a fruit Danish. Both were excellent. The coffees were excellent too. Recommend.

Great taste of coffee in amazing atmosphere. They served variety of coffees and you can ask them about the different coffee taste and they recommend which coffee is better for your drink. They also sell the coffee beans in the shop. The only problem is the serving time. They are very slow and for two coffee we wait 20 minutes when the shop wan not busy!!!

The coffee was really nice. We ordered 2 flapjacks, one was dry and hard, and the other had a really nice chewy texture. We did swap the hard one, which had obviously been left out for too long, so in the end, we both had nice tasty flapjacks. The smoothies seemed expensive for what they were. Nice seating areas and decor.

Have loved Trading Post coffee ever since it started outside Brighton station, and they never disappoint. Great coffee, lovely and welcoming staff, and a brilliant selection of light bites. Perfect little spot.

We tend to head here, when visiting Chichester. The food is yummy and good value and the coffee is freshly ground, what more could you ask for 😻

I love this coffee house and the food is really good- lots of it on my plate too. The manager and team are always welcoming and you can go whether alone or with friends. Sometimes we have a cheeky wine there too! It’s always packed and I can see why .

Was here today and service took ages. About 25 minutes for two teas. The team has forgotten milk so we asked for some in a calmly manor. The waitress went to get some but they had no jugs and presented it in a glass water cup that meant the milk split everywhere. When the waitress went up to get the milk she was hurrying the man as he had forgotten to put it with the teas. She told the man making coffees to calm down so he said they can chill out and we heard. The staff were also happy to mess around when people were waiting to be served. It is so unprofessional and will not be returning due to the rudeness. It’s not difficult to be polite and hospitable. Will not be returning.

Worst tuna sandwich ever in the cafe. Mixed with so much salad cream it kept leaking out of the bread. Mashed avocado also mixed with something to thin it out. Buying a boxed sandwich would have been better. Much better. I was there at 12:30 on a Sunday and they were out of the first 3 things I tried to order. Influencers recommend the cafe. Not at all my experience at all.

A worker there named Theresa helped me find the right size for my graduation suit, she went above and beyond for me, was extremely patient, kind and helpful. So was the manager. I will definitely continue to come here!

This store in Chichester is divided. Fashion in one street. Food small coffee shop menswear in another street. Both small but you can usually get what you want here. Staff always helpful and welcoming. Good choice of products. Car parks not far from store all paying.

Not the best experience Saturday in store my online order wasn’t there for me to pick up, unhelpful assistant made me feel like it was my fault , and said that I probably had it sent to another branch in Chichester, she told me to ring them and see as she couldn’t, I found the email confirming it was North street, still unhelpful. I went to the desk to return something and another assistant saved the day and found what I ordered in store, she was amazing! I felt close to tears with the attitude of the original assistant.

I had a fall in this shops food hall with disastrous consequences . They are not taking any responsibility for it and are washing their hands of it. Their shop floors where dirty with streaks of grease and water from the cages. No one came to help me the shop was empty it was late evening and a customer very kindly asked if I was able to get up. I replied no and she kindly helped me up. Soon after, one after the other two uniformed staff turned up. I said I was ok, as they had no interest they walked away and I tried to stop them to tell them to clean the floor or put up a yellow sing, in response they put a hand to my face and disappeared . I'm seeking to take legal action as Chris Mills first aid did nothing and the other one ran off as the first. Manager Graham Bell, is denying there is any CCCTV camera of this fall, manageress Fay was no help either. I got so frustrated that I said to Graham Bell that if I'd stolen something they would have me in jail by now. At which he replied I was trying to trick question him. However; it's true isn't it? CCTV would have been found immediately if there had been theft committed. Very strange, as Graham Bell informed me they have a camera down that isle. The only thing good about Marks, is the food . There's only 3 members of staff which I can honestly say are approachable, friendly, and very helpful. The rest have an attitude problem and seem to think they are doing you a favour. Well... if it wasn't for our money spent in the shop, their jobs would be non existent. I strongly recommend when you visit this particular shop you watch where you walk. If you do fall, take a picture of the floor do not leave the store until your seeing by a first aider and they write down all the details, your details and get a copy. They are keeping it a mystery from me the date of my fall. I don't remember it as at the time I'd just come out of hospital and had too much going on. Here is a picture of just how tacky this Chichester branch has become. And they are rude and arrogant beyond belief.

Popped by today and had a lovely coffee and cake. It was the lack of welcome and general uncomfortable quietness that let it down for me. Not replying to a customer saying goodbye cheerfully isn’t really the best way to entice customers back. A real shame

Reasonable selection of goods and bicycle tools next to a nice seating area. Unfortunately, some staff members are rude (not all). I have paid for an annual membership for West Dean Gardens which entitles me to a discount in the store. Unfortunately, the garden's computer system has been down for months, meaning they are unable to issue membership cards. When I mentioned this to the staff in the cafe, the rude woman working there abruptly informed me that they HAVE to see the card, and cannot give a discount otherwise. It was said in a tone which suggested I was lying to them about being a member. It's a shame because this could be a nice shop in a nice location, but unfortunately like many shops in small villages it suffers from rude, pretentious employees.

Awful customer service. Refused breakfast as the chef was too busy. There were 3 tables with people on them so not quite sure who else was being catered for.

Nice out of the way tea and coffee shop which is also a mini convenience store, lovely selection of snacks hot and cold drinks in one of the most idyllic settings.... If it wasn't for a card only option for sure 5 stars

Perfect stop on a cycle ride or walk. Outside and inside tables, table service, proper tea in a pot, bike stands and bike tools, impeccably clean toilet, amazing cakes and flapjacks. I’ve always felt welcomed and enjoyed a stop here.

Very cute shop and excellent chai tea latte. The locals are also very sweet. My grandmother was so happy to come to this side trip and see the surrounding homes. I loved to see that were was a place to tie up your dog on the patio.

Go upstairs! There is a lovely view of the cathedral and plenty of space. Hopefully they will have a licence soon to put tables on the pavement - come on council! 🙂

The reason I am not marking this as a 1* review is simply for the service received by the girl working Saturday 14th September about 16:00. She was on her own but was really friendly. The store however, had a horrible musty smell and there were so many flies behind the desk (see photo for 2 on the menu). From the outside the store needs a repaint, it looks so old and totally un inviting. Sat outside, tables were full of cups and cans so had to clear it ourselves. Feel sorry for the staff.

Absolutely lovely staff, always very friendly and welcoming. Food is just as good, wish they more toastie options Seating is brilliant upstairs with window view of Chichester cathedral.

Lovely little costa, outdoor seating in front of the cathedral as well as space indoors and upstairs. Usual good standard of coffee but exemplary staff who went above and beyond to help a customer regain a lost item. The staff were friendly, patient, calm, and determined to succeed, managing to problem solve while still keeping everything running smoothly for other customers. Really wonderful attitudes and professionalism.

As regular weekly visits I can do nothing but recommend this cafe. The service is quick efficient and friendly. We are welcomed in every week and keep coming and coming. The drinks are perfectly blended and are always perfect to taste. Whether you go in for a quick takeaway coffee or come in and sit with a nice warm toastie and a hot drink. The drink selection is large and varied with plenty of cakes and pastries to go along. Cannot recommend enough.

They are very slow at serving, had to spray and wipe my own table and ask the staff to take away a tray full of food from people before me. Whilst waiting saw the waitress restock the utensils by picking the forks and knives up from the mouth pieces bare handed. When we did get the food it was quite shocking. £5 breakfast was the worst I've ever had, definitely nuked in the microwave. The hash browns were very hard, the fried egg had a hard film over it. The bacon didn't taste fresh. My brother ordered the mac and cheese which was black burnt all around the sides of the dish. Once he was able to unstick it all it equaled to half the dish so not even a full portion for money paid. Advertising fresh kitchen but the food most definitely is freshly microwaved. only thing that was enjoyed was the double espresso. Definitely would NOT go back.

I'm used to waiting in the queue at the Sanburys cafe in Chichester and then being told it's a half hour wait but then again I'm not in a hurry. Today was the worst I've ever experienced ... Only one person taking orders and making drinks means I waited 20 minutes to order.... I have now been waiting for 50 minutes for my Avocado on toast and the people next to me ordered over an hour ago!!! Tables are not being cleared.... it's an absolute shambles. Manager should be sacked... At the very least, customers should be told if there is a severe staff problem then you can choose whether to wait or walk. Felt sorry for the poor lone girl taking the orders and even sorrier for the young man bringing out food and being harassed by disgruntled hungry customers..... I know what I'm talking about...I used to run a busy cafe myself! Every Saturday morning is busy so no excuse!!! Are they just cooking to order instead of using common sense!

On the few occasions I’ve been here for lunch there has been a wait in the queue at the cafe. You often get to the front of the queue to be told it's a long wait this is fine if not in a hurry but often I’m on a lunch break so don’t have 45 minutes to wait. The last time I was here was no exception to the above, there was one person taking orders and one making drinks I ordered quickly but was told my jacket potato would take 40/45 minutes so I just had a latte had had to get back to work. I then waited 20 minutes for a latte!

As I was out for the day on business, I thought that I would pop in to Sainsbury's for something to eat. However, when I got there, the only thing that I could have was breakfast as this was the only thing that was on the menu. But as I don't mind the odd breakfast, I ordered it (( this was I first mistake as I also ordered a coffee then when I went to sit down my food arrived the same time as me (( it was Cold 🥶 and obviously not fresh !!! )) So I took it back, then within 5 minutes was back, so clearly not fresh again Just reheated As the sausages were burnt, the bacon was hard. The beans were still not hot. The only thing that was really eddabal was the egg. However, because I was pushed for time, I still ate or as much of it as i could. Needless to say, I won't be going back !!! Stay away !!!

They can't cope with their busy periods. Always understaffed and generally badly managed. Second time now that I have seen shoppers asking to see the manager, the first occasion people were asking for refunds. It used to be convenient but we won't be using this cafe again.

The food was cold, tea was Luke warm, the service was slow with a 30 minute wait, the sausages looked under cooked and I would have liked to have buttered my own toast. Over all it was horrendous, will never use again.

Dissapointng food often cold when you get it, always short of staff, when that happens a lower standard is the norm. I hardly go there now once I finish shopping i leave without stoppingv like i used to.

Dreadfully dirty seating area, but to be fair, there only seemed to be 2 people working there today, one cooking everything bless him and a lady taking all the orders who seemed to be new as she was taking an age and wasn't too sure about the produce when asked... The pizza was great thou and the little one couldn't stop eating slices of it... 5 was had I believe at £3.50 a go with a bottle of pop it was pretty good value...

Painfully slow service everytime. Only ever one person serving, always another doing boh, dont you prioritise your ques? The servers are lovely to talk to however this unfortunately isn't a substitute for the extreme wait times. I went elsewhere for breakfast.

Is this the worst run Greggs in the country? Friday lunchtime, one person serving, with queue stretching out of the door. Counted myself lucky to get a sausage roll. On several previous visits a lengthy wait as not enough had been heated.

Angers me upstairs closes around 4pm a good TWO HOURS before the branch closes... shame as the former pret here opened later upstairs and it's the best place to sit

Chichester greggs.. is always dirty... everytime you go in the bins downstairs and upstairs are over flowing.. the tables are messy.. seems to never be anybody cleaning.. the food is luke warm.. never hot.. always 1 person on the tills who looks like they don't even want to be there.. as for mobile signal or WiFi that's non existent.. only went her to grab something quick

Extremely poor. Purchased a vegetable bake for the wife. When she went to eat it in store, it was cold. Staff refused to reheat due to policy. Said it's just luck if it's hot or cold. No offer of replacing it. You buy a pasty like that from a warming cabinet expecting it to be at least warm. Guess we'll take our custom elsewhere next time we want a snack.

In the back of Homebase car park, Chichester, is the best catering van I have ever found! Wow. Great, real food, and plenty of it, at astoundingly good prices. I now know why they have five stars, I only wish there was a golden buzzer or something like that on Google reviews! Really enjoyed the food, ordered a breakfast box which is heavy with food, I hadn't eaten all morning, have a good appetite, and it completely stuffed me. It is a really hot day today, and if you come in this weather be sympathetic that they may close early, as they are surrounded by heat on a hot day, I turned up as they were hoping to close, clearly exhausted in a heatwave, but still served with a smile. I think it's at these extreme times that show up who people are. Thank you yEATes!

We found this place totally by chance and, OMG! The food was amazing and such good value for money.Cooked to order, We had a French stick rolls with bacon and sausage and they were delicious. My son and his wife ( who live nearby) were so jealous that, the next day, we had to get takeaway ones which we all ate on the beach! I would totally recommend this place.

Found by chance due to attending event at Goodwood. Quality ingredients, good pricing and portions. they will accept advance orders if you call through. Overall probably the best breakfast roll I have had anywhere. Will be back if ever in the area.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch and coffee today after taking our dogs for a walk. It is such a wonderful place and there is plenty of choice on the menu, plus additional produce and gifts to purchase. So, well done to the staff and attendees who work there. It made us smile to see the centre attendees so happy 😊

I came here today with my mum as we were having a quick Look around Chichester. We ordered two hot chocolates and a slice of banana loaf. The hot chocolates were lukewarm which completely contradicts the name. I didn’t say anything as we were about to catch a train and were in a rush. It also took them a good 20 minutes to make two drinks and there was nobody in front of us. Also the banana cake was so dry it must have been left out uncovered. Would definitely avoid if you would like to actually have a hot drink.

Lemon & Pistachio cake looked good at £4.25 - one slice left so ordered for takeaway. Only when got home did I find the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. It was less than the slice on display… Absolute rip off. Can only presume they wanted some for themselves. Didn’t see the slice give. As was wrapped up. Honduras coffee was £4.35 and wasn’t good.m either. Service wasn’t good either - both staff sullen. Had to ask for the cake that I’d paid for. No milk out for the coffee and that seemed a chore for them to get more.

Good spot on the high street. The cafe was nice and had lots of ample seating. Nice coffee with friendly staff.

Really nice staff - helpful and take the time to help me make my mind up everytime! They don't rush you in ordering and all take the time to make you feel welcome. The cafe is clean, and spacious, never too busy. Great coffee - big sizes and amazing food.

Visiting Chichester and needed a coffee so popped in Harris and Hoole. Greeted by very cheerful staff and given great advice on what food to purchase. Nice hot coffee as well. Certainly Visiting again.

One of the best hot chocolates I've ever had, the fudge hot chocolate is incredible and they perfect temperature to drink straight away. All the staff are friendly, helpful and happy.

I come here occasionally, the prices are a little expensive, but that’s to be expected. Today I picked up a Tuna mayonnaise sandwich, turns out it is egg mayonnaise- the sandwich was mislabelled, which is dangerous for people with allergies. Not happy with this as the sandwich cost £3.60, and it wasn’t even the right one!!

I will often grab a coffee here before catching a train. Consistently good coffees, including the Turkish coffee. I've never had the sarnies but pastries are nice and warm if you get them in the morning. Staff are also quick, warm and welcoming. Thanks!

We love the ham & cheese toastie and the tuna melt toastie. We also had a great iced latte. We had a takeaway as it was just slightly troublesome to go into the train station for the seats. Otherwise, service was great and looks cosy to sit and wait for the train if it is in the right direction of yours.

I would avoid the sandwiches. Some are several days old. There is stuff prepared today which has a sell by date in four days’ time. Just had a tuna sandwich, tasted stale and immediately made me physically sick. Was at least two days old.

Very homely as soon as you walk through the door, average prices for their good quality coffee. I recommend their Turkish Coffee if you need a strong hit of caffeine. Well decorated however can get filled very quickly, who can blame you for a lovely atmosphere!

Great Costa. Food was pretty gross and expensive but thats not out of the ordinary. Came in and caused a scene. Baby spilt my coffee and Abby, our server was great, i asked for a cloth and they told us not to worry, came over and cleaned up. Abby then offered to remake my drink even though she didn't need to but she saw i lost the whole cup. I think she may have gotten in trouble as she came back and said she was sorry but she can only do a small. Great service, this lady will go far in the industry identifying ways she can help customers. Small acts of kindness go a long way to reduce a stressful situation quickly and easily.

It's annoying that there are no printed menus so you have to wait for the digital screen to cycle so you can read it. Staff seemed rushed and irritated with each other. The location is good but nothing exciting to say about the atmosphere. Just had a slice of cake and a hot chocolate. It was good.

Lost count how many times the website, the front door and the staff all interpret closing time as something different. Latest visit: website says closing time 9pm. I turned up at 7:50pm and checked. After a bit of thinking the young lad said inside closing is 8pm, drive through only until 9pm. Honestly, they don’t deserve the custom. Tim Hortons next door - service has improved immeasurably and they are open when they say they will be.

Carried out a mystery shop on this branch and was shocked to find that all the tables, seats and floor were extremely dirty and had clearly not been cleaned for hours. When we went in to the store there was one lady in front of us and it still took 15 minutes to receive our drinks and had to ask about the food we ordered after 20 minutes. The service and hygiene of this store was bordering on vile. If a food hygiene inspector came in to the store on Saturday 10th September at around 1pm I’m sure they would have closed the store immediately due to lack of cleanliness. Would not recommend.

Stopped to pick up a coffee this morning Friday 15th July at 6.30am there were about 5 cars waiting at the drive thru so we joined the queue our order was taken by a lovely cheerful lady who apologised for any delay as she was on her own She was an absolute Credit to the company she was extremely busy but took no longer really then you would normally wait . She was so polite ,friendly and smiley while under the pressure of taking orders making orders up and taking payments multi tasking at its best . thank you
