This is our favorite breakfast spot in Greece. A beautiful selection of breakfast and brunch plates of the freshest and most wholesome ingredients. Every dish was delicious and made with love by the charming owners. And a great selection of local craft beers. Prices were extremely reasonable and they open 8a-5p. A must visit while you are in Naxos.

This is the most special spot. I am gluten free and so even the gluten free options alone are incredible and a reason to stop in!! We ate here everyday of our holiday in Naxos and will come back and do the same next time we are here ! The most amazing service, people and food!! Could not recommend more, please make sure you eat here!! I can’t wait to come back! This is such a special place that is more than just somewhere to eat!!!

I was staying in the neighbourhood & would walk by here a few times each day. Finally, I stopped in for breakfast & since that day, I came here every morning for breakfast.(the next 8 days) The owner Yiota welcomes you with a smile, great service, fresh ingredients, great variety to choose from. Every dish was delicious! Highly recommend!

The best food on Naxos! By the time we departed Naxos, we might have been the most sad to miss out on our daily morning breakfast date at Hellas with the lovely Yiota. The food is fresh, healthy, with hearty portions and while definitely Greek food, Yiota and her team take a creative twist on popular dishes. Like the March 25 sandwich- it is traditional to have fried cod on Greece’s Independence Day, but they wrap it in a house-made, fluffy light Bao Bun with beet pesto, and garlicky potato spread. It was transcendental- delicious! Every breakfast item is also the best we’d ever had. Additionally the coffee is stellar, the drink selection fun and varied. We ate here every day on Naxos. I miss Nos Hellas food and Yiota’s welcoming smile and departing hug. This might be the number 1 reason I return to Naxos.

Our favourite food spot of our entire holiday. Fantastic food and service. We dined here 6 times in 5 days and were never disappointed. Very affordable breakfast and lunch meals! Great gluten free options. The Black Angus Burger was 10/10. We will come back to Naxos just for Nostimon Hellas!!!

Amazing restaurant! We came here three times, the food was always delicious and we just had to keep trying more things and it was all so good! The owner Yiota is just lovely, so welcoming and kind. She was super fun to talk to and gave us some super good recommendations for traveling around Naxos. Would highly recommend eating here! Breakfast, brunch, lunch, late lunch - so many options!!

A lovely woman runs this brunch place. Yummy, creamy scrambled eggs, fresh pressed orange juice, strong coffee and amazing sandwiches. Simple flavors, fresh, classic — YUM!

The place has a special atmosphere since it is also a historical landmark - pay attention to all displayed info. Reservation is recommended but we didn't have one and we waited no more than 6 minutes. Service is very good, prices are a little bit higher (as the whole place). Scenery is fantastic, specially in the evening. You can go up by an elevator and leave on the narrow streets, for a complete experience.

Having dinner on the top terrace of Avaton was amazing experience. The VIEW is to die for!!! We are so very fortunate to choose it to celebrate our anniversary. It is something to be remembered forever and make you feeling lucky to be alive. Food and wine were excellent 👌. Music, colours, setting, service, food, ... everything was incredible.

Do not miss this spot! So perfect for a coffee or a drink. Incredible - nearly 360 views anytime of the day. Best coffee we had on the island - a bit pricier than other places, but not significant and totally worth it. Highly recommend.

There is no doubt, Avaton 1739 has outstanding views. It's also inside a historic building. Take the time to look around and read the signs to learn about it. The vibes were a little of the day we came here. The waiter was upset about something and he was bitching to his fellow staff in front of the guests. Uncomfortable! We had one drink and left but felt it was worth it to go for the view.

Fantastic view from this restaurant, the fish cracker is really tasty and unique, I would highly recommend, the tortilla roll was nice too. Tomato ball suitable for vege lovers. Green juice is a bit let down; nice coffee

We went for sunset. Beautiful views from any table. The food was fantastic. The pastrami sandwich was the unexpected highlight of our night there. The cocktails were creative and tasty. We had the one with the cheese foam. If you smelled it you would probably be put off by it, but the mix with the drink was delightful.

Great płace on top of The Castle. Great menu and stunning views on Naxos bay. Many nice choices in menu also including traditional dishes. Tables are outside so that gives you nice climate and view, however many people smoke which is quite terrible for non-smokers wanting to enjoy a meal.

Incredible food, great service and spot on vibes. As the owner said; “good food makes good mood”, this could not be more true for this restaurant. The risotto and the lasagne were perfect and made using locally sourced ingredients, the staff were all friendly and acknowledged us as they came by the table. So impressed!

Excellent homemade pasta, especially the tortelloni with Naxian butter and sage; for such a simple sauce, it was so rich and flavorful and fresh. The homemade tiramisu was to die for. We enjoyed laying on their beachside sunbeds that are free for guests and include menu ordering.

A calm and simple lovely restaurant. The owners and the staff are Italians with super kind approach and tasty food. We felt welcomed at the restaurant from the very first time and we recommend to try the handmade pasta.

Incredible spot for a lawn chair on the beach with full service. Had bottles of white wine with some of the best octopus I’ve ever had. So relaxing.

We came here back in 2023 and continued to do so on our trip to Naxos this summer 2025. All of the staff is very friendly and the hospitality is great. The food is tasty and fresh, we tried the pasta, panini, costoletta and salads. The prices are fair and the menu is transparent with declarations. I would recommend everyone visiting Naxos/Agios Prokopios to spend a beach day here. The umbrellas are nice with a mattress and affordable. Make sure to reserve in advance. My favorite: Greek salad, panini salame and the Gnocci ragú. Grazie mille

We’ve eaten in a few “ Italian” restaurants since being in Greece and I have to tell you this is absolutely my favorite. Authentic Italian food. Highly recommend. The sign at the entrance to the restaurant says Italian food made by Italians. Couldn’t be further from the truth.

We sat on the beach at one of the sunbeds and orderred a pasta. We didn't have high expectations, but the pasta was one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The tomato garlicy sauce was genuinely incredible! And that for the price of only 10 euros!

Good spot, good views, comfortable seats, nice people, lots of selections for menu. Probably one of the better spots on the tourist water front strip. They give you little snacks with the drinks which is pretty nice.

Nice Place, good food but quite expensive. The cafe is located at the harbour front of Naxos, stuff was nice. They took my allergies really serious and recommended food around it. The drinks were really good and healthy. But 6€ for a lemonade is quite high.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this incredible establishment, shame on me! This is my third time spending time in Naxos and this is by far and beyond my favorite place to go in the city. Every single time everything is on point. Cleanliness, seating, staffing, food, drinks, ambiance, energy, views (like people watching!)... I can go on and on. I have never, ever had an experience that would earn less than 5 stars, in fact they deserve so many more but that's all I can give. I have been there at least 50 times and that's being conservative, each and every time is just lovely. Brunch? Yes. Lunch? Yes. Dinner? Yes. Coffee? Yes. Cocktails? Yes. Snacks? Yes. Everything? YES. If you want a great experience this is the place to go. It is sort of in the middle between the port and the beginning of the pedestrian walkway so it is prime if you're waiting for a ferry. You can see the port clearly, get your stuff together when your boat arrives and make it there without sitting at a garbage cafe or in the sun. The boats have to unload all of the passengers and cargo so you have a moment but DON'T MISS YOUR FERRY! They wait for no one! "Kitron is a citron liqueur produced on the Greek island of Naxos. It is made from the fruit and leaves of the citron tree, which is similar to the lemon tree but stronger and slightly different in taste." You can only get it in Naxos, nowhere else. Don't wait to go to the airport and expect to find it anywhere else. There are several varieties and they have an extensive cocktail list that shows off the characteristics of each one. Don't be a μαλάκα and end up saying, "oh, I wish I would have gone there". You're welcome in advance.

Fresh tasting food. The Monte Cristo French Toast sandwich was honestly the best Monte Cristo I have ever had. I’ve tried Monte Cristos in the past back in the US, but never had a great tasting one that I would order it again. My son ordered the sandwich here and I had a bite and it was so delicious that I would order it myself. We also ordered the chicken club, croissant with prosciutto, and the smoked pork sandwich. I was able to taste the three types of kitron- a local alcohol made from the kitron leaves. The server explained the different colored kitrons and what it is made from. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to order a kitron drink — while I wasn’t looking someone picked up the cocktail menu and the server didn’t come back by to the table to check on us until we were ready to pay. The restaurant is next to the marina and you can get a view if you get a table on the edge. They also have kitron in bottles for purchase.

The Kitron drinks are honestly some of the best cocktails I’ve had. The green Kitron in particular was amazing. Also just like every restaurant in Naxos the Naxian fried potatoes are top tier.

My experience at “Kitron” was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere of the restaurant/bar is cozy and warm, with a lovely view from the seating area. The food was fresh and beautifully presented, especially the brunch items – so delicious and tempting. 🥗🥪 The cocktails were unique and full of flavor – definitely unforgettable. 🍸 The staff were polite and helpful, serving everything with great care. The prices may feel a little high, but considering the quality and the overall experience, it’s totally worth it. 👉 Overall, if you ever come to Naxos, Kitron is definitely a must-visit spot!

Excellent cocktail menu, impressive and creative. Cocktails we ordered were superb. Would come back to here any time. Very different than your usual cocktail bar. Very unique.

Best cafe in Naxos! We went three times and couldn't find a single menu item that didn't exceed our expectations! The service was so kind, the food came out quickly, and the ambiance was stunning and authentic! We highly recommend the truffle and asparagus scramble, all of the pan fried bread options, and the crispy pancakes!

This cafe was neighbor to our hotel so we decided to pop in. I really loved everything I got (a green veg+fruit smoothie and a egg/sausage dish). I thought the atmosphere was unique, creative and adorable. Even the menus are handmade, dishware is so Instagram. The whole outdoor area with plants is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s. Prices are fair. Tables are a bit small. However, the pancake dish my spouse got was extremely sweet. It was so pretty but the sugar was almost unbearable. The sizable portion is lovely but trying to eat that much sugar was tough and reaching gross. I had to trade him some of my sausage and egg to take a break from it. We are Americans and even we thought the sugar content was way too much on the pancake!

Best breakfast in Naxos!! We got lucky arriving the very last day they were open for the season (we overheard the owner talking with another customer). When it reopens in the spring I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Great coffee, great sweet dishes, great savory dishes.

A hidden gem for a creative, high-quality breakfast experience! We had breakfast at Melimilon and were truly impressed. Every element — from the carefully crafted flavors to the charming setting — felt thoughtfully curated. We tried two omelets, each one different and incredibly flavorful, made with what tasted like top-quality local ingredients. The creativity in the seasoning and presentation was way above your average breakfast spot. And then the surprise: we ordered two coffees, and they came with a scoop of ice cream — a playful and refreshing twist that made our morning feel like a treat. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, making the whole experience feel warm and relaxed. All of this enjoyed in a peaceful outdoor garden setting, shaded and full of charm. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a breakfast that combines creativity, quality, and atmosphere. A place that clearly cares about what they serve and how they treat their guests. 👏 We’ll definitely be back! BTW the portions were so big that we managed the half of them. But the stuff was friendly enough to put the remaining in a box for take away. We don’t miss the opportunity to taste this food again by any means

People are nice and place is cozy but it takes a lot of time for everything to arrive. A normal coffee arrived after we finished the food. Also the bathroom doesn’t lock and another person enter while I was using it . Very embarrassing situation Also, we asked a cake to eat with the coffee since we didn’t have food anymore and it took more than 10 minutes for 2 pieces of a simple cake. Besides that, the Portions are small even when though they say it’s big in the menu. It’s not a bad place, but I was a bit disappointed.

Huge variety of breakfast option. Ordered number five with juicy chicken as an add on overall dish was pretty sweet and savoury - very interesting. Also ordered the special coffee without sugar but it was slightly sweet already.

The best hot chocolate I’ve ever had came from this charming spot in Naxos — rich, velvety, and perfectly comforting. I came here several times for breakfast during my stay, and each visit was just as delightful as the last. The food portions are generous and satisfying, ideal to start your day right. One highlight is their homemade jam — absolutely incredible! They offer a variety of flavors, and the best part is that you can purchase jars to take home. The staff is incredibly sweet and welcoming, . If you’re in Naxos, don’t miss this cozy, heartwarming spot!

Nice sea view overlooking the port, but the food was a bit plain. The scrambled eggs were quite dry, possibly overcooked. The coffee was good though, and it came with a complimentary chocolate croissant🥐

Such a great spot! The drinks were all really good—coffee, fresh juices, even some nice iced options. But the best part was the view—right by the sea with a beautiful look at the island. Super chill vibe, perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Definitely coming back!

The breakfast basket option was really good and actually too much for us. Great value for money. Service was also excellent and very helpful. The view is really nice too, but the only issue we faced was that their was too much smoking from the people sitting around us - it seems to be a common thing in Greece. It would be nice if they had a dedicated area for smokers so non-smokers can eat in peace :)

What a fantastic find.Great location at the end of St George's beach. 20 min walk to town along boardwalk. Room was great with sea view. Extensive Breakfast choice. Whole team are amazing and welcoming from the moment you step in the hotel and always ready to help. Highly recommended.

Best hotel I've never checked into! Long story short; the gentleman (Mike--I think?) who assisted us the night we found out we weren't staying there helped us in every way possible to ensure we were taken care of. The Greek hospitality is second to none!

HORRIBLE HOTEL! RUN DOWN! DO NOT GO THERE! There was a group of us that just visited the hotel. the grounds were not well kept - bird shit all over pool loungers that the staff do not clean. Tree debris everywhere, again no one cleans. There was rust everywhere on the posts and wasps had set up nests so lying by the pool, wasps everywhere. Our room although looked nice, was horrible! First we asked for a queen - we got 2 twins put together (and not 1 sheet, so we are together, but literally 2 twins just slide next to each other... romantic.. not! The bathroom was disgusting - the shower handheld and faucet were completely rusted. I killed about 5 ants on the bathroom counter top. And that's not even the worst part - from the time we entered the room - we killed about 20 mosquitos! We complained to the front and he just passed us off and didn't even try to change our rooms, saying we had to wait till the next day to see if anything was available. So that night we tried to get into bed, and found another surprise - looked like black specs and hair in the sheets! (pics attached) I almost threw up! Again went to front desk - no one there. We ended up taking beach towels and slept on the top of the beds, or rather tried to sleep because we had mosquitos buzzing around us all night! Probably got 5 bites each by morning. Then in the morning we complained after I lost my temper, and the manager finally changed our room, after accusing that the hair was mine! I didn't even get into bed, just pulled back the sheets... ya, don't think so! What got me mad is that room was available the night before - it was empty, but because it was an upgrade, they didn't want to give it to us, so inside they made us endure a night of hell! Breakfast was passable, but not great. Drinks at their pool bar were over priced and horrible ($13 euros for a pina colada which she had to google how to make and tasted terrible). Location - this hotel was at the farthest point on the strip - and for the money, you can stay much closer and cleaner property. Everything was run down in this hotel. it was absolutely disgusting - no idea how it got a 4.6 star... just mind blowing. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY no... your staff did NOT come look for me. The man at the desk I first complained to was the same man that I complained to the 2nd time... both times, he offered no other room. The 3rd time I came was after hours, and your front desk was empty - no one was there. The first 2 times I complained, I should have been shown that room - instead he told me there was nothing that could be done until morning. Secondly, the grounds aren't unkept because of plants and vegetation - there is no excuse why you leave bird poop on lounge chairs and tree debris isn't being swept up around the pool. Lastly at absolutely NO time was I rude in an acceptable manner... I was very upset at the accommodation and expressed that I was, NEVER did I use inappropriate language or did I yell at anyone. If anything, considering how I was being treated, I think I help my composure very well. I understand you need to lie to save face, but the reality is, I wasn't the only guest there who felt the same way - during breakfast, there were 2 other sets of guests who also stated that they felt your hotel was unkept and not to par with the photo's and reviews, and that they would never stay there again. Bottom line - CLEAN your grounds. Your hotel has potential to be very nice, but it's run down. Quite a shame.

What a wonderful experience!!! This is a resort hotel, has a pool, bar, restaurant and is 30 steps to the beach. Im so happy we stayed here. The staff were kind and amazing. I have two young kids and we would spend the day on the beach and then send late afternoon by the pool. Drinks are reasonable priced and the best and freshest fish we had was at the resort restaurant. I highly encourage you to have a few dinner meals here. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms and it was so beautiful and the view of the beach was perfection. We could watch the sunset from our balcony. 5 minute walk into town, or eat at the beach restaurants (naxaki beach restaurant was the best btw). Thank you so much for a memorable vacation!

Nice hotel with a great pool. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We found the location to be perfect, about a 10 minute walk along the ocean boardwalk to the city. Just far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to be a convenient walk to town.

Just off the beach which we took advantage of 3 of our 4 days. Water was clear and calm. Short walk to town ( less than 10 mins) but restaurant at hotel and along the boardwalk to town. Room was spacious, grounds were clean, pool clean and staff friendly.

We loved this rooftop restaurant, you have a beautiful view of the harbour. If was fairly busy but we easily got a table without a reservation. There’s a live band which upholds many Greek traditions. The food was some of the best we’ve had so far. We did splash out but this was also our most expensive meal so far. Excellent service.

We visited this restaurant because it was recommended. The restaurant sits on the second floor overlooking the port of Naxos. They were a bit short staff and the food took some time, but the food was fresh and very tasty. The atmosphere was amazing. We watched the sunset from our seats. There were two musicians playing live music. People occasionally danced and broke plates (a Greek tradition). The prices were fair. The location is worth visiting!

Top-top-top experience in Naxos. We had a lot of great food and experiences in Naxos, but Flamingos took it to another level. We celebrated my birthday there, they made incredible accomodations for us, even receiving the cake the morning before, and making sure everything was perfect. They had Greek music, Greek plate smashing, and everything you could want for a find Greek dinner - I'll come back for sure

Great atmosphere! The rooftop is amazing and people are always happy here! Live music but not too loud. The service is excellent and they are very welcoming. We tried musaka, chicken fillet and lamb chops as well. Their wine is also very good, not too expensive and the portions are fairly large. The we’re happy to offer us some free dessert and some free shots. We will have to make another trip here. Thank you!

This is a MUST in Naxos- authentic and fun! The Greek music is amazing and they have different musicians there every night of the week. We danced, drank and broke plates! Food was amazing, especially the seafood. I recommend going around sunset- it’s a gorgeous view of the port.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The menu is extensive and the food delicious. Live music was so much fun - people dancing and singing and the wait staff was excellent and added so much to the festive vibe.

Wow what a night! Loved the atmosphere… it was fantastic! Authentic Greek live music all evening with dancing even with plate smashing to top it off!🤣. Food was lovely and staff super friendly. Would definitely go back to this place. There was a small extra charge for the live music but this was a very small amount considering the cool experience of true Greek culture😎

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ – Wonderful Stay at Ippokampos We stayed at Ippokampos in Naxos from August 14–18 and had a fantastic experience overall. From the moment we arrived earlier than expected, the reception staff welcomed us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel at home. The location is unbeatable—right across from the beach with stunning views and sunsets just steps from our room. Guests can rent beach chairs and umbrellas for €25/day (a nice discount compared to €45 for non-guests). The biggest drawback, however, was the constant stream of merchants coming by every half hour offering massages. This wasn’t just distracting—it was extremely annoying when all we wanted to do was relax by the sea. The included breakfast was a real highlight. I tried the Greek breakfast, which came with coffee, a hard-boiled egg, cheese, tomatoes, olives, fresh bread with butter and jam, fruit, and even rice pudding with cinnamon for dessert. I also sampled the “super breakfast,” with egg whites, veggies, peanut butter toast, dried apple bites, and more. Both were delicious, generous, and filling enough to carry me through until dinner. Our room was clean, comfortable, and airy, and I loved that I could simply crack the window to let in a cool breeze. What stood out most was the service—staff were never intrusive, but whenever we needed help, they were ready to go above and beyond. The only reason I’m giving 4.5 instead of 5 stars is because of two things: the strict rules about bringing outside snacks to the beach chairs (which I understand about tax inspections, but if you have a receipt), and the constant interruptions from beach merchants. That said, I would absolutely stay here again. The views, sunsets, location, and warm hospitality made it a memorable trip. Highly recommend Ippokampos for anyone visiting Naxos!

Room: The room was decent, but it was located underground with no windows, and the shower had some mold. The bed, however, was comfortable. Service: There was no assistance with our luggage, and on Monday morning, when we needed a taxi to the airport, there was no one at reception to help us, even though it was 8 a.m. !! Thankfully, the cleaning staff member kindly called a friend who arranged a taxi for us. The taxi arrived at 8 a.m. and charged €25 for a five-minute ride to the airport. Breakfast: Breakfast service starts at 8:30 a.m., which we found quite late. If staff had been available earlier, we could have received guidance, for instance, that we could have had our included breakfast before leaving, instead of arriving at the airport, which wasn’t even open at 8:15 a.m. It gives the impression that delaying breakfast until 8:30 may be a way to reduce service for guests with early flights to Athens. Location: Great location right by the beach and within walking distance to several restaurants.

Rooms are small but manageable. The view of St George Beach is amazing from the first floor up. Staff are great & very accommodating. Breakfasts are fantastic! There's a waitress (blonde) who is just superb, nothing is an issue. I loved staying here. A bit pricey but what a view. One star less because they don't provide coffee sachets in the rooms nor milk, only tea & it didn't taste nice.

Fantastic holiday. We stayed in the family 2-room studio apartment (2 Adults + 2 young adults). Rooms quite basic but clean and very well serviced. Amazing double bed mattress. Felt very safe. Perfect location - 5 min wander to beachfront restaurant for fantastic breakfast (highly recommended) and very close to town and all amenities. Can’t praise the staff enough - George, Dina and especially Demitra who works tirelessly but always with a beautiful smile for breakfast and lunch every day - and made our holiday very special. Thank you.

Restaurant - we had our best evening meal in Naxos sitting at the outside tables just by the best. Great service, really excellent food. The food is a great bridge between traditional Greek food and a slightly modern presentation, just delicious. And this was after three wonderful days at the beach bar! A really lovely option for dinner, highly recommended.

The rooms are extremely small and honestly, the space felt quite depressing. The only positive aspect was the beach being so close, but even that experience was overshadowed by their beach house setup, which takes over much of the area and is overpriced. We used the beach house service for one day, only to be told we were not allowed to bring or eat any outside food. I found this policy unreasonable, especially considering that just a few steps away, people who hadn't paid for beach chairs were freely eating and drinking their own food on the sand. Ironically, if I had simply sat on the sand right in front of my paid chair, it would have been perfectly acceptable to bring outside food. The whole situation felt inconsistent and frankly, ridiculous.

Ippokampos Hotel is very nice for the view of the beach, but we had a very bad experience due to the shower which was broken and made it difficult to be able to have a shower. The shower handle did not attach to the fixture of the shower, we had difficulty showering. After complaining we had to struggle with the attendant for more than 1 hour which got us from being able to enjoy a commitment we had planned, plus the garbage bin was broken, which caused us to have to get our hands dirty instead of being able to open it with the foot lever. Our fridge did not chill our water properly and the furniture outside where there is a table had stains on the cushions and a dead cactus plant blocking an old and decadent door which was done so we would not have access to it. Overall the restaurant was good, had good breakfast and the food was decent when we ordered the first day that we came. The reception lady was not always very pleasant as she seemed bothered from when we brought issues to her attention and was not very patient when we asked for suggestions of what to see around the island. In the end we had a good time and enjoyed the beach very much, but we were really disappointed with the problems we encountered in the room. We asked for a partial refund but that was ignored, when I approached reception the next morning and asked about the incident, they said they where notified by management and did nothing else. Customer service is not very strong in Greece over all, anything you are dissatisfied with many times is ignored.

Lovely restaurant, little bit quirky. Food is delicious with lots of local specialities. Pancakes were so tasty and the Naxian tarots … heaven. Friendly staff with lots of local knowledge. If you’re with someone who wants to eat next door, you can do back to back😊 Really recommend it.

This was one of the best meals I had in Naxos and in Greece. I'm vegetarian and celiac and my husband isn't, there was truly something for everyone, everyone was really nice, and also took dietary restrictions very seriously. Definitely come eat here.

We loved this place! We came for an early lunch and had a wine and an Irish coffee, kalogeros (local eggplant beef dish) and roasted veggies. Everything was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing! Great service, food, and atmosphere :)

We so enjoyed our experience at Gemma! The location is perfect — it’s in the walking part of town near the waterfront. The owner and staff were all super friendly and the food was delightful! They even have a separate vegan menu so tons of options for meat eaters, and vegans alike.

We had such a great time at Gemma’s! We went on Latin Night, so we enjoyed delicious food, great music, and even danced a little — it was super fun! The menu offers a mix of traditional and international dishes, and we got to try a local wine from Naxos that was surprisingly good. After dinner, we also tried the shisha, which was a really nice way to end the night. Definitely an experience I’d recommend! ✨

Golden beach cafe is one of the only restaurants open early here in this village but it is definitely a good choice for a breakfast. The manager here is very nice and friendly. She’s very personable and always makes our experience very special. The food is great also. They have nice coffee and teas as well.

We had such a wonderful time here! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for relaxing and enjoying good company. The coffee was excellent rich, smooth, and freshly made, just the way it should be. The staff really made the experience even better; they were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you have Celiac or are gluten free go here! Many of you know how hard it is to find gluten free in Greece. But this place has gluten and dairy free beer, waffles, and ice cream! And they were so nice and helpful. They even offered to make a special batch of ice cream for the next day to ensure there was no cross contamination from a spoon that might have touched the cookies and cream ice cream. Really unbelievable service. I would give 10 stars if I could.

What a fantastic place!! We paid 25 euros for two super comfortable beach beds and spent several hours there and had a fantastic meal. We found the prices of the food very reasonable. It's also great that gluten-free and lactose-free options are available! You can order food and drinks from your bed and there is free Wi-Fi. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. We regret that we only discovered this place on our last day, otherwise we would have gone there every day!

A rare spot in Greece where it’s easy to relax with friends or pop open a laptop/tablet to get some work done—of course, in a leisurely way. Brunch was impressive. Great flavours. Nacían scrambled eggs with tomatoes and Naxian sausage. Hand cut fried fries...yummy. Savory crepe was delicious. So was the eggs Benedict and the chicken burger. Coffee aromatic. Large variety for every taste. Service great.

A really good spot for breakfast! The price-to-quality ratio is excellent, and the portion sizes are just right. I’m taking off one star because the poached eggs came out more like hard-boiled, and we had to wait a bit longer than expected for both the food and coffee. That said, the overall experience was still very nice, and I’d happily come back.

This place was amazing! It was clean, and the setup was beautiful. The waitress was friendly and helpful, the coffee was excellent, and the muffins my friend and I had were delicious. We’ll definitely be back before our vacation ends! Ana was amazing!

Tucked away on a narrow street it’s easy to miss. Head to the back of the restaurant and sit in the Secret Garden. Enjoy a Strapatsada with Naxian eggs while sipping on a Matcha Latte. They have an endless array of coffees & teas to enjoy plus a hearty brunch menu. Come hungry. Enjoy the garden.

Absolutely recommendable! This place serves the best coffee in Naxos , and I’ve tried several cafés. The cappuccino is unbeatable and the food is a real delight.

Baklava was hard, literally broke the plastic fork, had to saw with a knife. Pretty disappointed because it looked good. The baklava on the ferry was cheaper and better, very disappointing. I wouldn’t go back.

Great spot on the harbor with Just enough outdoor seating. My wife got a Galaktoboureko pastry which was AMAZING- a must-get. I got a sandwich with the smallest fries imaginable (it wasn't on the menu, so its not a bad thing to see it included). The coffee was good. Highly recommend.

Everything was excellent. The strapatsada & Naxos omelette were both 🔥🔥. The bougatsa was very good as well. The crispiness was spot on.

We came here for brunch today, there’s seating outside. Some shady areas and they have some fans blowing but it did get quite hot. I got a freddo cappuccino with almond milk which was delicious! We got the avocado toast with smoked salmon and the scrambled eggs. Both were tasty and the ingredients tasted fresh. We liked the avocado toast more than the scrambled eggs, it tasted a bit brighter and fresher, but both were good overall. Good service too!

We had the “healthy pancakes”, “naxian” and “freddo cappuccino”. It was all very, very good. The atmosphere was cozy and chill. Really recommend for a brunch!

Came here for coffee / breakfast every morning in Naxos. The Naxian brunch & scrambled eggs were both so delicious, great coffee, nice staff. While it opens early for coffee, the kitchen doesn’t open until 8am. One morning our group of 8 came before a boat tour & they went out of their way to quickly get our orders to us so that we could have a proper meal & make it to our tour on time. I also ordered the fried chicken sandwich to go for my ferry ride back to Athens & it was sooo good. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous coctail place placed in the center of the Naxos islands. So cool vibe in the very middle of Cyclades is just so cool for its atmosphere and good drinks. Absolute recommend for the good vibes.

We came here in the morning and had the spinach pie, cheese pie and other baked goods. I had high expectations but the spinach pie (€3,30) (although a big portion) was way too dry. The crust was stiff and thick as though it was over cooked. I also thought the filling was very oily. I wouldn’t recommend or maybe get something more simple like a croissant. Coffee was fine and service was okay!

How refreshing to find a bakery open late, granted most fresh produce is sold out in the evenings but I was delighted to be served by such friendly staff explaining the pastries they had left and served with a nice coffee and cake on their terrace. I understand you must get tourist fatigued but I appreciate your friendly welcome. Go earlier in the day for a full selection of tasty fresh goodies. I recommend it.

Great homemade baked goods and very friendly people. The Greek brioche! Homemade vegan carrot cake was delicious but everything we tried was really tasty. We ate the traditional Greek pastry with the sweet filling and was best we tried on the island.

They sold me a medium size olive oil for 20 euros that was on an upper shelf. They said it was fresh but I noticed dust on it so I asked about when it was bottled and how fresh it was. They said it was fresh and nothing to worry about. We just got home and it tastes so stale. We also bought smaller olive oils from them and they are delicious and don’t taste stale. wish they had been honest, I wouldn’t have bought it. I gave 2 stars because the little olive oils were good. My boyfriend and I spent 100 euros here… a refund on the olive oil would be nice

Really tastefully decorated little shop with a wide range of flavours and mixes available. Some you can try before you buy. Definitely recommend going in and having a look, nice family run business.

Quaint well organized store tucked away in the cozy alleys of Naxos' downtown shopping district. It was so nice to walk into this welcoming store. Everything inside screamed to be purchased. Ornately displayed jars of local preserves, dried fruits, teas, and other Greek treasures captivate the eyes and senses. Great place to find a unique gift to remember your trip to Greece or bring a unique piece of Greece back to a loved one. The items we purchased were put into a lovely bag with a nice dried flower to ornament the bag. We were even treated a wonderful little on-the-house gift from the shop keeper. If you are in Naxos near the ferry port you MUST stop in. You wont regret it.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and had a great experience from start to finish. First of all, the cleanliness was impeccable; I was very pleasantly surprised. Everything was spotless and extremely well maintained. The room was spacious, with plenty of storage, and the bed was very comfortable. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the housekeeping team and breakfast staff, who both did an amazing job every day. We also really appreciated the thoughtful design and calm atmosphere of the hotel. The decor is tasteful and well cared for, and the presence of a bar and an open kitchen available almost at all times added a very homey touch. The large swimming pool was another highlight. The location is excellent. Very quiet, yet just a short walking distance from the center of Naxos town. On top of all that, the value for money is excellent. Honestly, this hotel feels like it should be rated 4 stars. If we had to mention one (very minor) downside, it would be that the shower was a bit small but certainly not enough to affect the overall quality of the stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Naxos!

This was a wonderful experience! The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the port, and the stroll through the charming old streets makes it even more enjoyable. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a drink and a slice of cake! The rooms are spacious and filled with natural light. A highlight for travelers with luggage or longer stays is the balcony equipped with a dryer, perfect for drying clothes. Breakfast was excellent, offering plenty of variety, including fresh Greek delicacies prepared every morning. Everything was delicious and clearly made with care. It's location is also a plus, since we have a bus stop near the hotel (if you use the public transport or go on day tours). Overall, we truly recommend this hotel as the perfect place to stay in Naxos Town.

Amazing! The staff are very accommodating and can't do enough for you. Perfect location, quiet and quaint. Close to the port and all the action... a very pleasant 10 minute walk away. Beautiful, clean well appointed hotel. Hopefully we can return to Naxos Sunday soon and if we do, we definitely will be staying here again.

Our stay at Anatoli was very comfortable! We would definitely consider coming back here again. The hotel was around a 10-15 minute walk from Chora (the main town) so conveniently placed for the most part. The hotel itself was quiet. The breakfast was lovely, and there were a few options that changed every morning which was nice. The pool area was great. Importantly, the staff were very friendly and always greeted us when we passed through the lobby. Upon arrival, we were provided with thorough information about the island, tavernas for dinner (we tried two of the recommendations and they were amazing, thank you!), bus routes, beaches, etc. Overall they were very helpful and accommodating. The room was very nice; we only wished there was more storage space, but it was pretty and clean. We were on the ground floor with the balcony facing out towards a lawn near the pool, providing a decent-ish view of the main town. We have definitely fallen in love with Naxos, and we are thankful for Anatoli Hotel playing a part in that!

A wonderful place to stay only a 15 minute casual stroll to the Port and Naxos old town. This family owned hotel is run extremely well and all the staff are accommodating and lovely to deal with. We woke up every morning to a delicious breakfast cooked by Maria 😍 There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The facilities are great and hotel is clean We highly recommend staying here and we look forward to staying at Anatoli again in the future

Amazing breakfast! The different desserts everyday were a lovely surprise. Very good location, near the buses that take you around the island and the beaches. The room was also very quiet and spotless clean. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The staff was also really helpful and happy to guide and advice!

A lovely family run hotel, with friendly welcoming hosts. Relaxing, clean environment, with a nice pool area, not overcrowded. Close enough to walk into town, but far away enough from the centre to offer peace and quiet. Good for couples, solo travellers, and families. Breakfast included with lots of options, did the job of filling up for the day ahead.

We loved our time on Naxos and particularly loved this hotel! The staff and owners were so kind and accomodating. One night we were just exhausted and trying to order a pizza, because we didn't have it in us to go out to eat. My husband was having trouble with the delivery app, and the owner went out on her own and picked up the pizza for us!! The rooms are updated, clean and modern. The balcony was an amazing place to hang out both day and and night if we didn't feel like going to the beach, or needed an afternoon siesta. The breakfast in the morning was also very very good with LOTS and lots of options. despite our room overlooking the beach we did not find it to be too noisy or disturbing Overall would highly recommend a stay here.

Our predicament with the given room no53 was that the hotel’s nearby tavern had a window between our balcony and the stairs, which allowed odors and the yelling of the staff in the kitchen to enter our room and generally disturbing our peace. Also the cleaning staff was making a lot noise every morning. Of course the soundproof of the room is good if you live with the a/c all day. Breakfast was mediocre, with good quality but not quantity, you had to be an early bird to catch everything, otherwise you had collect the answer that ‘they are finished’. In a rational question why they don’t replace, they answer back : we are not a bakery!!!! One morning I found a hair in my omelette and I collect only ‘a sorry’. Needless to mention that none of the kitchen staff was wearing a cup. We had complained from the first day for all the above, a very polite desk lady was willing to change us a room but there was an availability only the third day out of five of our stay, so we were politely refused to avoid the burden of moving. Anyways our room was spacious, clean, but with very few amenities. Finally the promised ‘paradise’ that the hotel’s site promises, is far from reality! Also for a hotel that claims that is on the beach, doesn’t have its own spot in the front, with layers and umbrellas. Instead they give you ‘free’ towels and forward you to the nearby beach bars, for a mere of 50€!!!!!! If you read this, I’m sure that you will find a better deal somewhere else.

We stayed here for 4 peaceful days and loved it. The sea is perfect, the beach is clean and relaxing, and it’s just a few steps away. The breakfast was amazing with many options, and we also enjoyed several dinners at the restaurant — the food and room service were very good. I had an aroma therapy massage with Michael, who was very professional and helped me relax deeply. There are also laundry and car rental options, which made our stay even easier. We felt like we were in our own summer house and are already looking forward to coming back next year.

Our trip to Greece started off with this beautiful property in Naxos run by beautiful people. We arrived in the evening to be welcomed by Mary who made us very comfortable and showed us around including taking us to the restaurant nearby. Traditional welcome drinks were available right though our stay. Maria who runs the show int he morning and the two ladies that handle the breakfast, the lady who cleans the rooms and the gent who waters the plants / maintains - everyone of them made us feel welcome. Maria and Mary are super helpful and guided us on bus routes to the city, food options, where to explore etc like a tour guide. The breakfast was very good - wholesome and the best we have had in a long time - Location is right on the beach and the view is breath taking. Naxos town is 20-25 mins by bus. We rented a car for the day and went to the small villages - amazing. I would definitely like to go and stay in Iria again. Thanks to the team at Iria. Your service levels are impeccable. Cheers

We stayed in the honeymoon suite when we were in Naxos for a part of our honeymoon! The room was comfortable with a great view of the sea, and the location was perfect. We could walk right out to the beach from the hotel, where you can purchase sun beds for a relaxing beach day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance, like when they helped us book a rental car. Also, the breakfast each morning was phenomenal. If we ever return to Naxos, we would love to stay here again!

Iria Beach Hotel is in a fantastic location—right on the beach, with plenty of restaurants and tavernas just a short walk away. You really can’t beat the convenience if you're looking to relax by the sea and enjoy local spots without needing to travel far. The staff were one of the highlights—extremely kind, helpful, and always ready with recommendations or assistance. That kind of genuine hospitality really made a difference during our stay. The rooms themselves were okay—not the most modern, but very clean and comfortable overall. That said, the air conditioning could’ve been better. On those really hot days, it just didn’t get cool enough, which made it a bit tough to sleep at times. Breakfast was a nice touch, freshly made each day. Just a heads-up: although breakfast is served over a set period, arriving earlier is best—if you show up late, the options can be pretty limited. All in all, we had a good stay. Iria Beach Hotel is a great option for travelers looking for a beachfront location, warm service, and a solid stay on a reasonable budget.

What a fabulous place. The staff is the best. They are helpful and kind. Iria is on the beach with plenty of beach chairs and restaurants. The hotel is clean great size for the value. Location a 10 bus ride to Naxos biggest town. The station is an easy 3 minute walk.

By far the best 2* hotel that we stayed in. It deserves 3* , I really don't know why it has only 2. Large rooms, cleaned every day, fresh towels, ideal position at 20m of bus station and 5' walk to the beach (which is THE BEST beach in Naxos btw), excellent breakfast, very good sleep quality, very friendly stuff and service. It will be our first choice when returning to Naxos. Very, very much recommended!

The best thing about the hotel are the workers (the Miss at the reception, Stavros, the Miss at breakfast), the manager must take into account that without this team the hotel would go down a lot. The value for money is unbeatable considering that in the 'not-so-touristy' Naxos a mediocre hotel with a swimming pool does not drop below 150€/nt in high season. Breakfast is exceptionally good. Ten minutes from the beach and leisure area. What have I missed? Things that perhaps do not belong in a hotel of this category: a small bar and/or swimming pool. Camara hotel is the perfect place to stay!!! Agios Prokopis the most beautiful beach only two minutes walking distance. The owner was the friendliest person you can imagine: He took care of us as we would be a member of his family. Extremely clean and delicious breakfast!!! Highest recommendation !!!

Nice cozy rooms, very friendly staff. We had one problem with the air conditioning, which they solved fast, and offered us a different room in the meantime. It's a 4min walk to the store, and 8min walk to the beach, on a busy street with no sidewalk - not a huge issue, but be aware.

I was glad that this place was near my hotel and open relatively early compared to most restaurants In the area. I got myself a savory crepe and fresh orange juice to start the morning. I went there twice for gluten-free crepe. It was delicious ! The dough was a bit thicker than the original french crepe, but perfect consistency: crunchy around the edges and soft in the middle. Also there was so much Nutella in the crepe! Recommend the one with Nutella & banana

Our favorite spot in Naxos!! Great food at very reasonable prices. Especially recommend the plate meals which have a nice selection of greek foods (and healthy if you get them with rice instead of chips). The staff is so friendly and welcoming, which is one of the main reasons we came here nearly everyday. Easy to miss with all the other restaurants along the waterfront, but dont miss it. Strongly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner.

We spent 3 nights in Naxos. We ate here the first night and were happy with the food and service.. we went again the second night and were blown away not only by the food but the service of the two male waiters.. they were very attentive and hospitable and nothing was too hard.. we highly recommend you try this place and you will not be disappointed by the food and exceptional service from the two young men.

Amazing food and service! I ate beef fillet that was cooked perfectly, my boyfriend wanted grilled calamari and the waiter was so kind to attend his order. I really recommend it. A place where you will go more than once definitely.

Our absolute favorite dishes were the daily special of the fried zucchini, the wild tomato salad and the risotto. Wow. We ate here for dinner and had incredible vibes cause of the DJ. Really well done.

Great view, great service, great food. We had the octopus carpaccio and salad as well so the gin verts cocktail (delish). The dessert was amazing also. Highly recommend!

When you eat dinner here, you will have a wonderful view of the harbor and many boats. It is especially beautiful at sunset. The cocktails were great, and so was the food. Don't skip dessert - it was fantastic. The service was excellent.

Could not recommend this place enough!! The service, food, and overall environment were AMAZING!! Finished the entire meal, and wanted more. If you need an awesome spot in Naxos, this is it! All of the servers were so attentive, and the food came out quickly, and was absolutely divine. So many options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks! Went back later the same day, and had just as an amazing experience! The drinks were so incredibly tasty. Our server Anastasia, and owner, Fanis, were such incredible people!! I am so unbelievably happy to have stumbled upon this spot. I would genuinely come back to Naxos, just to come back here!!! Breakfast and lunch (2 different days) at Hug.Me were amazing! Do not miss out on this place as everything was amazing from the service, to the atmosphere, and the food. Breakfast: Healthy Pancakes (so delicious and not overly sweet) and Avocado Bruschetta Lunch: Pastitsio (traditional and delicious) and a “Vegan” salad but we added Shrimp (so bright and fresh tasting). Dude in the street welcoming everybody remembered us 3 days later, knew where we were from so he’s got a great memory and his hospitality is amazing. Wait staff was helpful and fun, teaching us phrases and words in Greek to help us out.

The food here is amazing and everything is priced very well. The staff are happy to serve with a smile:) Great experience overall. Every dish was phenomenal and the coffee was excellent. We went back later in the evening and had an even better experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cocktails? Absolutely phenomenal. The white wine was delicious and the Spritz Me, Kiss Me, and Tropical Mule were amazing. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Definitely a DO NOT MISS on your Naxos visit!

The prosciutto pizza was very good! We also had the caesar salad and the chicken was delicious. We loved this restaurant so much we came back the next day for brunch and had the avocado bruschetta and open sandwich - both highly recommended! Definitely a must-try when visiting Naxos.

Had lunch here. The ice cappuccino is refreshing in the hot day! The crossiants comes with chocolate praline which is not too sweet, butter and marmalade. Taste is ok. The toast comes with some salad. Overall ok but nothing really special. The staff are all pretty friendly and helpful. I must credit the owner for making their menu so clear in beautiful pictures which make it easy for customers to know what are offered. Very thoughtful indeed and good for the business too

Really nice place for brunch, the coffee was exceptional, the Greek yogurt bowl was pretty good, pancakes could have been better to be fair, not fluffy enough and a bit bland. I did not dare to try the french toast, as it looked way too sweet. The prices are a bit high for the average on Naxos, and for the food quality/quantity, so it is a bit of a shame… The waiters were extremely sweet, it was a pleasure to visit!

Excellent spot for breakfast, with a range of options, including veggie. The scramble eggs were excellent and so was the pancakes and fruit with Greek yoghurt. Service was friendly and attentive. Loved the spot and watching people go by.

Ordered cocktails and beer on happy hour. Honestly it’s been one of the better made aperol spritz I’ve had. Didn’t order food. Peanut mix provided with drinks. People watching is awesome. Our waiter has been nothing but friendly and patient with us. Great place to hang out while waiting for your ferry.

My partner and I were in Naxos for twelve nights. We drank cocktails in this cafe several times and were fully satisfied. I honestly cannot understand the negative comments. Sometimes it’s good to „see yourself“ because in our opinion, the place is clean, cocktails are great (and fairly cheap, 6 Euro) and the owner is a polite, friendly person. The other waiter (maybe his son) is also very kind. We are happy that we found this place and thankful for the great service :)

I regret stopping here and not continuing further down the street heading south away from the ferry terminal. This place is more about drinks than food. They do serve food but it's all rather basic stuff and the kitchen is miniscule. If you're looking for a meal, follow the road out of town along the seafont and you will pass a big selection of better restaurants

Really bad cocktails. Don’t let the 6€ happy hour fool you - these drinks are not even worth that. Go somewhere else, literally anywhere else - and pay 8€ for great cocktails. Service was weird and unfriendly. Never again.

We stayed in a Air B&B next to Captain's for 4 nights. We visited here at least once a day. Vasilios and his brother Nikos were very friendly and had our usual drink order remembered by our second visit. It is a slow casual spot near the port that is great for people watching and the sunset. They have a ton of umbrellas and seating. They offer 6 euro cocktails and beer for happy hour all evening long. Great spot to kick off you evening or have a couple drinks before dinner.

The bad reviews make no sense. The vibe is nice, quiet and relaxing. The drink prices were great (€6 cocktails at 20:00!), the service was great and the drinks were good as well. I’d happily come back and plan to do so.

What a charming, fun and great place we found our last day here! The owner was kind, welcoming, had a great energy and made sure we were totally satisfied with our food and drinks.

Loved this place. Angela was able to customize my juice beetroot, lemon, ginger. Sadly, I found this place during my last day. Otherwise, I would have come every morning to maintain my healthy habits. As we will return to Naxos this would be my mandatory morning stop.

Hands down the best smoothie I have ever had. I usually get a strawberry banana smoothie and the owner Angela told me to trust her and get one of her own recipes. Boy am I glad I listened to her. It was the most delicious smoothie. Her Power and Energy smoothie is fantastic. Highly recommend.

I am an 8 year old girl traveling to Greece and I went there. I got the smoothie Happy, and it was so good that I got a second smoothie Tropical immediately after. Both were delicious and there was great service. The environment was great. I had a great time there!

This place is so great we ended up coming twice during our stay in Naxos. The first day we ordered two iced cappuccinos, they were very good and refreshing, perfect for a very hot day in Naxos. We also came back on our last day to try out the smoothies, we had “happy” and “tropical”. Both super super good. The lady that owns the store is really nice and even gave us great restaurant recommendations.

This place has the most amazing coffee and Greek Yogurt. I ordered the yogurt with fruit and homemade granola was fantastic. This is real Greek yogurt and way better than we can get in the US!

The only place we went to twice in Naxos! Food was delicious and prices were totally fair. We went at 10:00 PM and asked for breakfast food and they were totally accommodating and made everything we wanted. Cannot recommend more!!

We had breakfast here one morning - pancakes and waffles. The food was ok - we asked for syrup and they brought a tiny thimble full which hardly covered one waffle. The service was not great - the owner was not super polite or welcoming. We won't be returning!

My husband and I ate here a handful of times during our stay in Naxos, and I highly recommend checking it out! Great for every meal of the day. They offer dine in or take away, which is very convenient if you want to grab something quick before you head to the beach or catch your ferry at the port.

Just came for coffee and a snack, little did I know the chocolate croissant was about to be the largest croissant I’ve ever been served. Absolutely delicious pairing with the coffee I ordered! My waitress was kind and attentive. Easy walk to the port if you’re looking for something quick before catching your ferry.

Service was good, food was horrible. The Caesar’s salad was nothing like what the menu described, it was a bowl of iceberg lettuce with some bad cheese sauce. Coffee and juices were also expensive. Save your money and go next door.

A decadent brunch to kickstart the day. Kaps is a chic resto by the seaside. We highly recommend the chicken pancake - a three-layered pancake with bacon bits and Hollandaise sauce. The “crunchy” pancake is also extremely indulgent - a four-layered pancake with strawberries, chocolate wafers, and entirely splattered with chocolate sauce. Yoghurt sugar-free milkshake was average but interesting. Prices average 7 euros for a pancake.

The location is good, considerinh the time of the year (end of September) it was calm on the boardwalk. The pancakes were nice, the amount of chocolate was just an overkill. If it had only half the chocolate it would've been twice as good. And that comes from a Belgian who loooooves chocolate...

I loved this spot for coffee. Perfect to catch up with friends or to sit and read a book on a side street. The cappuccino freddo was perfect - the coffee was strong and cold. A little freebie - cake on the side - was the perfect addition! Could have enjoyed this spot for hours.

When in Naxos go Zio Cafe Bistro for friendly understanding staff who go that extra bit to make sure you have the coffee you want. In Australia we get used to our style, here Master barista Costas listens intently to your request and delivers. Thank you also to Sylvia who provided excellent service looking after our food orders. A very clean and professional establishment I highly recommend.

We had breakfast here everyday on our honeymoon and we loved it! The service was so good and the people were very friendly. The food was always made fresh and tasted so nice. Orange juice was fresh squeezed and the coffee was nice and hot. Our favorite was the yogurt with honey as it had crunch hazelnuts on top. So dreamy. We will be back

Amazing pancakes and the tea was great too. The only issue was they did not have the sourdough bread but it was a bit off season so it is not strange.

Reasonably priced, good to big size portions for every order (poached eggs and scrambled eggs with salmon). Service with a smile, everything tasted good and it’s right by the Marina. I haven’t tried any of the sweet options for the morning so I can’t speak for that or dinner but cappuccino was good as well. Great option for breakfast

Best breakfast food in town with the best prices. Pancake portions are huge and taste great. Yoghurt also very big and great taste, lots of fresh fruits. Great lemonade and coffees! The location with views of the marina is very good. Toilets are nice and clean. Nothing more we could wish more.

Went there for brunch in two consecutive days coz the food and service here are amazing! The spot is perfect, just near to the sea. Price is very reasonable, considering the big portion and tastiness of food. Yogurt bowl and pancakes are highly recommended! The staff here are super friendly. I usually don't enter promenade restaurants but this one totally stands out. A great place that is well loved by locals as well, for chilling, eating and enjoying a good drink. Don't miss out their fabulous kayanas! great sandwiches and fries too! The place is well designed, clean and has good service. I recommend!

After trying a few other spots and then returning here, I've gotta give it to them...this was definitely THE best breakfast I had on Naxos. All things considered, it 100% runs laps around all the "famous" breakfast places on the waterfront. It's worth checking out for sure! FYI: The resident cat (see photo) is A LOT more interested in head rubs than she is in your breakfast; she was content to just sit snd people watch.

I had there peanut butter, banana, and chocolate smoothie bowl yesterday. Then their avocado, prosciutto, egg, spinach, and cheese crepe this morning. Both were delicious and big portions. Highly recommend!

This place is such a hidden gem in Naxos. Possibly the most refreshing thing to eat and drink after (or before) a hot day on the island. As others posted, the smoothie bowl is amazing, huge, and has tons of tasty fresh fruit. The owner is also very nice and accommodating if you need some changes. I know you likely didn’t come to Greece for a smoothie bowl - but we came her multiple times for breakfast. Was just too good.

This was the BEST breakfast I’ve had in the Cyclades! Especially for someone that’s gluten free. I had a gluten free crepe, with prosciutto, avocado, spinach and friend eggs and it was divine. The fresh pressed orange juice was the best I’ve had! It’s a very simple cafe and not much ambience but the food, juice and coffee was incredible- and excellent value for money!

WOW! What a delicious pancakes they make. First of all I would like to say thank you to Tinos, Georgia and Tana whom are the owners of the place and for their amazing hospitality. Now the pancakes were amazing, that’s the only meal that we tried but they were so good we came back 3 different days. Not only that but we had a stopover with the ferry of 30 minutes before leaving the island again, and we were really craving some pancakes so we decided to give them a call so they could prepare them and we picked it up, to then run back to the ferry. Also very important, they offer gluten free options including the pancakes, so that was something very important for us and they were amazing anyways. Great speed, service, atmosphere and moat importantly the pancakes! Thanks again! And we wish you the best in life! Whenever your family comes to Spain, we will prepare you a paella!

Great place, good food and the best fresh juices on the island. Made from fresh fruit on request from a wide list to choose from. Waffles are also delicious. Big portions worth the prize.

A cute little bakery with delicious home made treats. A good selection of both savory and sweet Greek pastries. Will definitely be going back daily before I leave Naxos. The owner was also very friendly and helpful :) he told me all the products are made with local butter and fresh ingredients which is great.

Vegan options galore!! Although not signposted anywhere, when I enquired about vegan options the friendly server delightedly announced FIVE different savoury 'pies' (pastries - leek, spinach, zucchini, potato and I forget the other) and at least 5 different sweet cakes - I had the delicious chocolate, tahini and almond cake and the orange cake. Over my stay I sampled the different savouries which were all delicious- especially the zucchini one. They also did vegan protein smoothies with almond milk - the chocolate flavour was delicious! They should definitely signpost the vegan options better to draw you in from the street - if I hadn't asked while buying bread I would have had no idea it was all vegan!

You must visit Sitári if you are visiting Naxos. Demetrius, the owner and manager, helped us and gave some great recommendations on what to eat and enjoy.  We ordered two Nutella pastries for our daughters, and a spinach and feta pie, and a graviera cheese pie. Demetrius then recommended his house-made lemonade: fresh squeezed lemons and honey for sweetene (a must-have). There is a comfortable patio outside where you can enjoy your meal. The menu highlights only high-quality Greek bakery products, and uses only the highest quality local ingredients. The baked goods arenall produced locally in Naxos and are baked fresh every day for serving at the shop. The place was incredible, and we loved getting to chat with the owner. We even were able to try the newest creation: a butter cookie topped with grated coconut. The flavor was like a Danish butter cookie, but infinitely better. Sitári is a must-visit when in Naxos!

Sitari was fantastic!! We came back multiple times during our stay in Naxos. They had the best spinach feta pie I had while in Greece. Their Freddo Cappuccinos were also fantastic. 10/10 recommend visiting this bakery. Everything was baked fresh, hot, and flavorful!!

Visiting Naxos- Day 1, tried 5 different freshly-baked cookies. The flavors of cinnamon and honey, etc. are subtle and the cookies melt in your mouth. Day 2, local soft cheese filled cookies and pie - just dreamy. Day 3 - Little Feta and spinach fold overs were perfect for taking along for a hike up to the Temple of Apollo. Oh, and several varieties of crispy rings coated with sesame seeds or sunflower. The beetroot rings are really unique and yummy. Day 4- our final morning, I went to get zucchini pie for my ferry ride and to say, “goodbye.” (after visiting daily for take out or resting on the covered cafe - this place should be your daily go to). The manager Dimitris was there, as he is everyday until 3. He runs this lovely little bakery with great care. He’s so attentive and welcoming. He makes you feel like an old friend. Serving as a waiter and in food service since he was 10, his English is incredibly well-developed. He probably speaks half a dozen languages! He smiles from his eyes. He is Naxos. Oh, the BEST BAKLAVA ANYWHERE!!!!!!

Abbiamo testato (e ce ne siamo innamorati) un dolce di pasta sfoglia ripieno di crema aromatizzata buonissima, che per noi è diventato un must, insieme all'immancabile caffè espresso italiano (sia nella marca che nel formato). Ci siamo trovati talmente tanto bene che è diventato il nostro riferimento. All'ennesima volta che ci hanno visti arrivare, per il caffettino del pomeriggio, dopo quello del mattino o del dopo-pranzo, hanno voluto offrirci il nostro amato espresso. È stato un gesto gentile, disinteressato e fatto col cuore che ci ha davvero colpiti. Non ci è mai capitato in nessun posto del mondo e la cosa la dice lunga sulla gentilezza, sulla cordialità e sulla simpatia che abbiamo trovato a Naxos. Fair price, good food. We ordered a Chicken Burger, Naxos Breakfast with scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs and the yogurt with fruit. It was great, and the best part was the service, very welcoming :)

The servings were small. One bite of salad three of the smallest wieners I've seen, two small peices of cheese, ten olives?, two peices of bacon and two fried eggs that were the only normal portion on the plate! I wouldn't call it bad, but I wouldn't reccomend it.
