To be honest I was quite disappointed with the whole experience. The ticket prices are little high for what they offer. The Bhangra troupe was excellent. Apart from that, everything else was sub par I would say. Especially the hyped 7DX show. I have seen way more immersive and better shows in theme parks. Overall I would say, if you have the time and money to spend and really really want to explore something new, then only visit the place.

The fort is quite good - clean, maintained. They have some activities which can take some time (short movie, a pmpagdi/turban museum & some activities lined through +food & shopping).. Overall ~2 hours (minimum) to peacefully roam around the place.

Visiting Gobindgarh Fort was an exciting blend of history and technology. The 7D show brought the glorious past of Maharaja Ranjit Singh to life in a thrilling way. A fort of historical significance, but suffers low maintenance and inadequate patronage. There is a Pagdi museum, good Bhangra performance and a 7D movie show on Maharaja Ranjit Singh which would be liked by the Children (different going that the glitches in movie visuals have gotten fixed by now). Tickets cost about 350 per adult and it is recommended to visit in the evening. A battery cart (chargeable) takes visitors from the ticket counter to fort location, which is about a 500m walk otherwise. Though there are eateries, I could not venture to try them.

We really enjoyed visiting this fort. But we were surprised for entrance fee for foreigners 700 INR! Including is 20 min.long 7D movie about Maharaja. It’s very overpriced. At least we made nice photos there.

If you are in Amritsar and not been to Durgiana Temple made of Oure Gold then you have missed or wasted your visit. One of the oldest temples of Punjab region, beautiful and has a captivating Aura. Very well connected by road with big Parking facility. One can spend time here meditate near its sarovar looking at beautiful idols of Lord Shiva or Vishnu. This is also a Golden Temple which believers must visit if they are in Amritsar.

I recently visited the Partition Museum in Amritsar, and I really liked it. The museum is very informative and gives a deep insight into the history and emotions of the Partition of 1947. The displays, personal stories, and photographs are very moving and beautifully presented. It gives deep sense of emotions when we learn the sacrifices of the innocent made because of few people's greed, stubbornness and unplanned activity. Overall, it’s a must-visit place.

Great place to learn about partition, political scenario that led to it and its aftermath. There is lot of reading needed, wish there was more audio visual treatment. If you have time, do get an audio guide available at rs 100.

Very beautiful and well managed. They provide audiotours so you don’t have to worry if you know about history or not. It gives goosebumps while going through and getting to know things. 1-1.30 hrs is enough. No photography allowed inside. Ticlets are proced at Rs. 10. The theme is; as the name suggests- partition, what led to the partition and the aftermath! Do visit, it’s near Golden Temple Complex only. Closed on Monday.

The entry fees is ₹10 only when you enter the museum hall, you will see a couple of paintings and mini architecture depicting the stories of Maharana Maharaja Ranjit Singh. When you go to the first floor, there is a proper Panna Roma view of the bar. The first floor panorama room is not ventilated as well as there is no air conditioner which makes it very hot during summers and humid during rainy season. I would not recommend anyone to stay there for more than 10 minutes.

Good place to visit . The facilities are good. Ample car parking facility. It highlights the life and times of maharaja Ranjit singhji. The figurines are detailed . Entry ticket is just Rs 10.

I visited here randomly but this place deserves a lot appreciation for preserving history of Sikh Maharaja through amazing statues and paintings. Every Punjabi should visit here once to see the glory of Sikh empire. Whoever made this, deserves a huge respect.

A cute little museum in the middle of the city dedicated to the great king Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Entry fee is just ₹10 and you can see all the exhibits in about 30 minutes. The well maintained lawns are a nice place for a family picnic. One weird thing is you are required to take off your shoes before entering the building. I honestly didn’t understand the need for that rule.

This came along my visit to Amritsar. Mind blown by the gurudwara visit the other day I decided to visit other places in the city. Out of the very few places to visit in this city I came across Maharaja Ranjit Singhs Panorama. It's a small place , museum alike well maintained. They charged us rs 10 ticket to get in and we saw the whole history of Raja's life starting from his birth, to his wars and strategic conquers , marriage and eventual death before sitting on the golden thrown. It was a great places, sculptured really well along with noise of horses and war alike setup. Reminded me of how war movies are shot.

The overall grounds with Harmindir Sahib (Golden Temple) showcased in the middle. It is hard to even describe the STUNNING BEAUTY of the grounds. This the cultural/religious center of Sikhism and you will see and learn everything you would ever want to know about the culture here. We used Roobaroo walls to arrange our tour of Amritsar and this was the crown jewel of the visit. It is truly BREATHTAKING. Everywhere you look you will see the architectural detail that will amaze. AND YOU CAN ALSO SERVE AS WELL BY BOTH PAYING FOR FOOD DONATED AND PROVIDING YOUR LABOR IN THE KITCHEN AS THEY SERVE THE DESTITUTE. Mata Lal Devi Mandir Amritsar : Mata Lal Devi was here from 1947 till 1992. There is a different kind of peace in here. The idols have a charm of their own. The temple opens in the morning to late evening. They follow hygiene protocol and have sanitizer stands installed.The architecture is superb and detailing is intricate. Visited myself saw so many god idols (Famous Idols and their pilgrims structure) . Recommended place for Family with their children at evening time time

It is a holy shrine place situated at model town amritsar. It is named after Mata Lal Devi ji. People visit this place as they seek a child from Mata Lal Devi ji. Lal in punjabi means child. Temple is built beautifully specially the Mata Vaishno Devi part. One part of this temple is purely dedicated to Mata Vaishno Devi. It has caves, stairs and narrow ridges. It is believed that those who have wished to visit Mata Vaishno Devi temple, but could not visit due to some reasons. They can visit this temple and complete their wish. Although not on tourist's wishlist but this temple is a hidden gem of Amritsar and a must visit place.

If you are in Amritsar then please see this ancient architectural marvel although I am not sure how one can enter this place but it's beautiful. I guess many films have been shot here as well. This Khalsa College spreads around 3 km alongside GT road and appears not to be less than a kings palace.

They gave me the most warm welcome. A good place to be for small numbers or single traveller and not for big tour groups as this is a university. Needs to honour their privacy. Place not to be miss while you are in Amritsar.

Its nine stories echo his nine years of life before his death in 1628.[3] According to Sikh legend narrated in the Gurbilas Chhevin Patshahi, Atal Rai revived a friend named Mohan who was bitten by a snake and subsequently died as a result of the injury. Upon hearing the news of the event, his father was displeased as miracles are rebuked by the Sikh gurus. After being admonished by his father for the miracle, Atal Rai retired himself to the bank of Kaulsar and left this mortal coil on 13 September 1628. The tower was built in his memory and to commemorate his short life.[1] Initially a small samadhi (Indic cenotaph) was constructed at the site, which eventually transformed into a gurdwara. A wonderful showcase of vibrant Punjabi culture and authentic local flavors! The live performances were engaging, and the overall ambiance truly reflected the rich heritage of Punjab. However, it would be great if the management could consider providing an air-conditioned resting area for elderly visitors and families with young children to relax comfortably. Also, while the traditional drink was refreshing, we were expecting lassi as mentioned—but it turned out to be buttermilk. Still, a memorable experience worth visiting!

Very nice place with little activities spread across the area. Food was also good, authentic dishes & taste. The people managing the activities were very warm & welcoming. Definitely worth a visit & aim to spend at least 4-5 hours to fully enjoy the place & participatein the activities (turban & paranda tying, mehndi, popcorn making, makki roti-saag tasting, village cinema, camel rides, etc.)

We visited Sadda Pind on Lohri day this January without realizing most places in Amritsar would be shut — even the Golden Temple had huge crowds. Our auto driver recommended we check out Sadda Pind, and we’re so glad we did! Even though we reached pretty late, the experience was so memorable. A group of aunties were sitting by a bonfire making makki di roti and sarson da saag — we sat with them, chatted, and had one of the coziest meals of our trip. The vibe was so warm and welcoming, even at closing time. We got to explore a few cultural setups, had a full-on tel malish (which was amazing in that freezing weather), and ended the night with a delicious buffet dinner — all-you-can-eat Punjabi food, both veg and non-veg, plus desserts. When we were done, the place was almost shut and we couldn’t find a ride back, but one of the staff kindly helped us get an auto. It was freezing but so much fun. Would definitely recommend visiting for a wholesome and heartwarming experience!

Its a kind of village museum which shows how the houses were built in villages of Punjab. Its a unique concept showcasing villages of Punjab. Also showcases rich and beautiful Punjabi culture. Their are many cultural performances like folk dances, artisan workshop like pottery, weaving and phulkari embroidery. Their are many games for kids, magic show, many photo points. You can enjoy traditional dishes like makke ki roti, sarso ka saag, bajra khichdi. The tickets include food which is based on buffet system, it has good variety in menu. Taste is authentic and all dishes were flavorful. Staff here is very kind, polite, attentive and ever smiling. Overall the property is well maintained and good value for money.

Food is very good,a rich punjabi cuisine. The staff is very polite. They have rooms for accommodation too. But little expensive on that part. I'm not sure if the meals are included. It gives a glimpse of rural life of Punjab in India. Activites are monotonous after a few visits. Good place for children. It's ok to visit one time especially for tourists visiting Attari Wagah border ceremony.

Sadda Pind, Amritsar is like a traditional live Punjabi village in an area of 12 acres., situated about 8 km from the Golden Temple. The are gives us a taste of authentic Punjabi culture, traditions, food, and lifestyle. There is replica of a rural Punjabi village with mud houses, courtyards, wells, and handicrafts and some magic shows etc. The restaurant has the traditional Punjabi thali, with makki di roti, sarson da saag, lassi, parathas, jalebi, and other traditional dishes served in a dhaba-style restaurant. The restaurant is good with lot of options and the food is very traditional and tasty. Our entry ticket included the food There are also area where we can also dress up in the traditional Punjabi style o Wear a turban and take picture. There are also areas for shopping handicrafts, juttis (Punjabi shoes), phulkari dupattas, souvenirs. We understand there is Heritage style rooms for overnight stays. We enjoyed the visit and it is a visit to Punjab in a capsule. We came here on our trip to Amritsar. It is a large area and to walk around. You should allow for at least three hours of time to fully go through the all areas and take a look at them

Our family visited Sri Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara during 21 to 23 October 2025 Dipawali holidays Darshan. We stayed at Sri Guru Arian Devji Niwas, near campus. Due to the blessings of God, we took Darshan for 3 consecutive days, in a calm, tranquil, pious, religious atmosphere. We got Langar prasad. Hundreds of Sikh community bhakts were voluntarily providing their valuable services happily. It has a clean, peaceful, serene, excellent infrastructure facilities coupled with best human resources serving the devotees.

Also known as the Golden Temple, this holy place is full of positive energy and spiritual vibes. The moment we stepped inside, we felt a deep sense of calm and peace. The shining golden structure in the middle of the holy water looked beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset. The place is very well maintained and organized, even though it gets crowded. Everyone was helpful, and the management handled everything smoothly. We stood in line for darshan, and it was worth the wait. The divine atmosphere, the sound of Gurbani, and the kind nature of the people made us feel blessed. We also had the langar (free community meal), and it was simple yet very tasty. The idea that everyone sits together and eats, no matter their background, is really touching. My kids also enjoyed and learned a lot about Sikh culture. If you are visiting Amritsar with family, Sri Harmandir Sahib is a must-visit. It’s not just a religious place, but a place where you feel peace, love, and unity.

A divine place. I have almost zero knowledge of Sikhism. But when I stand in th3 queue for 4 hours that is when I felt the presence different energy. I have been to Kashi, Ujjain and every where u have to stand in queue. A lot of pushing touching, but here people are standing together with families but with pure energy and devotion to "Guru"🙏

Absolutely beautiful atmosphere from the beginning-Maharaja Ranjit Singh ji's statue and all the way into the temple. Took time around 2.5-3 hrs to enter inside the Golden temple but that's an expected time as it's heaven on land and it truly is, being peaceful and a place to be grateful at as it's an amazing site inside and outside. For tourists and the general public they're are many things to see including Maharaja's statue and Baba Budha Sab ji's tree are inside and etc. Everyone is welcome saw many tourists and it's just beautiful/majestic in general and it's a place to visit multiple times.🪯❣️🪯

The temple is located about 11 km from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The pond by the temple needs cleaning. Also ensure you are fully dressed before entering the temple. You will not be allowed otherwise. Please keep the place clean when you visit 🙏

Visited the Ram Tirath Temple — a beautifully maintained complex steeped in mythological history. The golden idol of Sage Valmiki is truly impressive, and the serene sarovar adds to the peaceful atmosphere. While it’s a short drive from Amritsar city, ample parking and clear signage make the visit comfortable. Some parts could use better upkeep (e.g., a few smaller shrines were a little dusty) but overall it’s a very worthwhile spiritual stop. Highly recommended for anyone interested in the Ramayana heritage and looking for a tranquil temple experience near Amritsar.”

Beautiful, humbling place. There was so much to experience from the Golden temple to the jora service to the langar service to the gold sewa workshop. The museums on-site are also there to serve as a reminder of the resilience that Sikhs have had to have to survive and become a large community. There are many gurudwaras and soravars (lakes) on-site to take amrat as well. To be able to sit under the trees that some of the Gurus had done so was also wonderful. A beautiful place to visit.

Needless to add this place is absolutely magical especially early morning between 3.30 am and 5.30 am. It is absolutely breathtaking. A must visit at that time. One can sleep later during the day. The serenity an peacefulness is something one must experience.

Huge space, has 8 galleries each needs 30 mins atleast. You can get a guide and also has a 7D show which we had to miss. Loved our time there, only advise dont underestimate and keep ample time specially if you are history buff. Museum covers wars from Sikh gurus to modern Kargil war and how Sikh regiments have contributed.

Very well maintained and it's nice to have a guide explaining each module and the sword figure is cool. Please avoid 7D show. It's very badly maintained and only first few minutes they explain abt Maharaja Ranjit Singh, next it's hellish with those seats and all the roller coaster video. I was sick after the show.

You’ll need at least one full day to explore this place properly. There are both pros and cons when hiring a guide — the advantage is that you’ll understand the real stories behind the wars and unsung heroes that never made it to print media. The flip side is that most guides tend to rush through, so if you want to spend more time, you’ll have to set that expectation clearly. We had to rush to the Attari Border in the second half, so our guide wrapped up the tour in about 2 hours. The exhibits are interesting, but the show isn’t that impressive — it lacks a proper storyline and flow. They could’ve made it much better with a virtual tour or an interactive presentation covering all four major wars to provide a better context. The museum is co-owned by the Punjab State Government and the Ministry of Defence, and while the concept and structure are excellent, there’s still scope for better storytelling and visitor experience. Overall, a good place to visit if you’re interested in history and war stories — just make sure to plan enough time and get a good guide.

The museum is very very amazing, the statues, the stories worth every bit. But have atleast 4 hours to enjoy it fully. To fully enjoy, have a guide. Our guide was Kritika, she explained everything very well and is a very sweet lady who answers questions very well. Ask for her when you reach Gallery 1 soon after entry. Mesmerised with the Sikh culture, the war stories and the bravery of each and every soldier. 7D theatre is bit Ohkay but can try.

Beautiful, humbling place. There was so much to experience from the Golden temple to the jora service to the langar service to the gold sewa workshop. The museums on-site are also there to serve as a reminder of the resilience that Sikhs have had to have to survive and become a large community. There are many gurudwaras and soravars (lakes) on-site to take amrat as well. To be able to sit under the trees that some of the Gurus had done so was also wonderful. A beautiful place to visit.

Absolutely beautiful atmosphere from the beginning-Maharaja Ranjit Singh ji's statue and all the way into the temple. Took time around 2.5-3 hrs to enter inside the Golden temple but that's an expected time as it's heaven on land and it truly is, being peaceful and a place to be grateful at as it's an amazing site inside and outside. For tourists and the general public they're are many things to see including Maharaja's statue and Baba Budha Sab ji's tree are inside and etc. Everyone is welcome saw many tourists and it's just beautiful/majestic in general and it's a place to visit multiple times.🪯❣️🪯

Beautiful museum that commemorated the Sikh community. The art is very beautiful and true. Some is violent so may not be suitable for kids. Really talented artists made the artwork here. Security is tight but respectful, and cleanliness is a top priority. The audio chants and spiritual energy make it more than just a tourist destination—it’s a place to reflect and feel connected. Highly recommend visiting at least once in your life, whether for spiritual reasons or simply to experience the incredible culture and hospitality of the Sikh community.

There is no doubt that it is a great place to visit to witness paintings of Sikh historical figures, events and to see some old manuscripts as well as weapons but it can be modified into a lot better infact a great place if the SGPC gives it some attention. It could be transformed into kind of a virtual tour for the pilgrims visiting from all over the world and from every faith so that they can learn everything about Sikhism they need to, from this museum as this is the most visited Sikh Holi place but unfortunately our SGPC is too busy in non-necessary things that they are doing nothing to improve this museum's value.

Nice historic paintings but shame they do not allow you to take photos and instead want you to buy a book instead. Sadly this is how history is lost. If people were allowed to take photos of the artefacts that were looted and destroyed by the Indian government in 1984 we would have had a record of all Sikh historic artefacts .

It is around 1km from Amritsar railway station. Masjid is very clean and peaceful and there is a good space for luggage also.

Built in AH 1294 (AD 1877) by a wealthy Kashmiri Muslim merchant named Muhammad Khairuddin, this mosque holds historical significance. Before the Partition of 1947, just as there was a significant Hindu and Sikh population in Lahore, Muslims also made up a considerable portion of Amritsar’s population—nearly 47 per cent, according to the 1941 Census. After the Dogra rule began in the Jammu and Kashmir region, many Kashmiri Muslims, including affluent merchants, migrated to Punjab (including Amritsar) due to increasing corruption under the Dogra rulers. This mosque was built by one such Kashmiri Muslim whose family had migrated to the region during that time. When the infamous Jallianwala Bagh massacre occurred, many Muslims were also part of the gathering and were among those killed in the firing ordered by the British. It is said that following the massacre, several dead bodies were brought to the courtyard of this mosque. In response, the mosque’s Imam, Tooti-e-Hind Shah Ataullah Bukhari, appealed to the people—regardless of their religion, whether Sikh, Hindu, or Muslim—to unite and rise against British rule. In this way, the mosque also played a role in India’s struggle for independence.

I have visited several ISKCON temples all over the country, and this is one of the smaller ones that I have visited. It was a bit difficult to locate, as there aren't any prominent sign boards nor markers, and very few people (only nearby shopkeepers) are aware of its existence. It is a calm, peaceful place amidst an oasis of traffic, noise and chaos. As in all ISKCON temples, the staff are extremely polite and helpful.

I visited for the first time .Temple was opened .I felt awkward actually.The people who worship there behaved like why new person is coming to their Temple .they tries to ignore new visitor . . I will never recommend to go there .iskcon temple at vrindavan garden is best.Atleast everyone respect By Saying Hare Krishna with a smile To everyone wheather he/she is new or old.

GURUDWARA SHRI SHRI BIBEKSAR SAHIB is situated in the Distt City Amritsar. Situated near Chattiwind gate it marks the place where SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI used to tie his horse with Kareer Tree. When ever GURU SAHIB used to come back from hunting, he used to take rest at this lonely place for a while. GURU SAHIB himself laid the foundation of the holy tank. (Srovar) Here GURU SAHIB used to discuss religious things with wise people.

I recently visited Kesar Dhaba and tried their stuffed naan thali with chole, dal, curd, and salad. The food was tasty and fulfilling, especially the naan which was well cooked with a nice balance of flavor. The chole was rich and spiced well, giving that authentic dhaba feel. That said, the service was on the slower side, and the ambiance felt quite crowded. Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to regular dhabas, but the portion size was decent enough. Overall, it’s a good place to experience traditional North Indian food, especially if you’re craving naan and chole, but be prepared for some wait time and a busy environment. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (3.5/5)

We visited here for lunch and ordered one special thali, dal fry, plain paratha, and rice. The dal was really good (you should taste) rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait for a table. This is definitely a must visit place in Amritsar, especially to try their famous dal.

First of all, the seating is less with average ambience. Every staff was careless, 3 were sitting on corner tables where customer sits.One staff was standing next to the cashier lady(she might be the owner)and when she got up, he grabbed her chair and started us eating, which looks very weired and non-professional behaviour. The owner lady doesnt have control on her staff and all were careless EXCEPT one lady in uniform, at least she was running the show. Also,observed shortage ot items Lassi which is an all time favorite drink of every north indian. It seems that after the sad demise of the Original Owner, nobody cares about running this famous restaurent. The main part, which is hygeine-- Toilets were dirty,there is water in the Urinal even after having Sensor, used tissues were lying onthe floor instead of dustbin. The floor was wet and water can be seen under the Urinal. There is absolutely careless management who runs this premises very casually like- Ab itna purana naam hai hotel ka to chalana to padega na... I dont know why there is so much hype about this hotel when everybody facing issues. This is my genuine feedback,if anybody want to discuss with me then I will provide my mobile number. Kesar Da Dhaba is located about a 15-minute walk from the Golden Temple, tucked away in narrow lanes of the old city. Finding it can be a bit of a task, especially for first-time visitors, as the approach is quite congested. While the place carries a strong legacy and reputation, it unfortunately seems to be surviving more on its name than on its service or food quality today. The staff seriously lacks basic hospitality and manners — they come across as rude and disinterested, which really takes away from the dining experience. As for the food, it’s average at best. The taste is nothing exceptional — similar to what you’d find at any decent roadside eatery in Amritsar. Their lassi is disappointing and can easily be skipped. One plus point is that the portion sizes are generous — a single thali is enough for two people, making it reasonably good in terms of quantity and value. Overall, it’s a place you can visit once for its historical name, but don’t go expecting an extraordinary experience. There are better and more hospitable options in Amritsar offering equally good — if not better — Punjabi food.

Great lunch thali, quite busy all day long. good portion, daal and chana was delicious. Don't order separate dishes from the thali set. We order shahi paneer, and it was cold as if it was made since morning.

Went there on a friend's recommendation. Amazing food, rich in taste and flavours. Dal and palak paneer was one of the best I've ever eaten. Prices for thali are a bit high as per the portion and service.

People say it's a must if you visit Amritsar, but I found no Dhaba vibes, it's a well maintained resturant. There're some good authentic dhanbad close by, so if you don't want to go with the standard hype, avoid. I should have done that.

I visited Amritsar in 2014 and after 5 years I got chance to get in this holy city once again. In 2-3 years it has been changed a lot, before the shops were so congested , roads were damaged, & there was no wide space at all. But now it has been reversed as you can see in images. It's looking like a foreign country & many things have been improved. I loved it. The combination of this Heritage Path & Holy Golden Temple could make it a 8th Wonder of World⭐

It's a beautiful & divine place. It holds significance for not just Sikhs but all the people of Punjab. Visitors can shop for traditional attire & things here. The walk also offers great delicacies of Amritsar. Visitors can take e-rickshaws from here to visit Jallianwala Bagh, Partition Meusem, Wagha border & other famous tourist destinations.It looks extremely beautiful at night.

When you are here, you will feel like you are in different zone, the ambience and the lighting, the uniformity in the building. Eveything is unique. You would just love to walk in the morning and evening along this street and go for shopping but very crowded. Whenever you visit, golden temple, never miss to spend an evening on this street and enjoy food, shopping, phulkari, juttis and famous papad warrian.

Golden Temple, Amritsar I recently visited Amritsar for the first time in my life, and the experience was truly divine. Honestly, words can’t do justice to what I felt—you have to be there to understand it. I went during the holidays, and although it was a Sunday and quite crowded, I was still able to explore the city and enjoy its amazing food. We did proper darshan the next day. One sincere request to all fellow travelers—wherever you go, especially at such sacred and historic places, please be mindful of cleanliness. The management at the Golden Temple is doing a great job, but it’s also our responsibility to maintain the sanctity and cleanliness of the place. Everything was so beautiful that I didn’t feel like leaving. Photos can capture the view, but you need to be there to feel that divine energy. And the Kadha Prasad? Truly the best in the world. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, devotion, and unforgettable food.

If you are planning to visit and want to have darshan quickly, it’s best to reach early in the morning, otherwise due to heavy crowds it might take a lot of time. If you truly want to enjoy the beauty of this holy place, I would also suggest visiting once in the evening — the view and ambiance are simply mesmerizing with the serene lights and calm surroundings. Amazing religious temple for Sikhs and all others. We visited twice in a week. Best time to visit is after 6 PM. When it is lighted it is like a heaven. Keep your shoes out, wash hands and legs. Wear head cover. Photography is strictly prohibited. You may see people holding spear, but they are for your protection only. It usually gets very crowded as well. A must visit place in India. Do not miss Silver temple(Durga Mata temple) as well which is close by.

Nice place to visit, pray and observe that seva is parm dharm. They dont feel shy in washing used dishes. They dont see caste and creed langar and other activities. They are teaching us how to live together without discriminating others.

We visited golden temple in April. It was very hot in Amritsar. We visited golden temple at night from outside. It looks beautiful at night. There is a counter where you get Prasad and can be donated also. In morning we went to Golden temple to take darshan. It took 3 hours in line. Line management could have been better as it is not single line. But women with kids are allowed ahead. There is separate line for ladies and gents. Outside there is a large corridor which has markets and vendors. You can purchase jhumkas, jhooti, dress materials. Near by there is also a market called as Shimla market which has cheaper but same items. You can explore that also. Beside it there is Jallianwala Bagh where in you can go and spend sometime by watching the place and also garden.

It is not too far from the City. Everyone should visit the place..... Holy place of Valmiki..... The architecture of the temple is superb.... The pond is a good attraction to the temple.... Adequate parking place is available for cars and bikes... No ticket is required to visit the temple....

Very peaceful and serene place, little off from the city. We visited during the daytime, still it was enjoyable and a cool breeze was flowing. Big structure, huge lake with lots of fishes and tortoises in it. My kid enjoyed feeding them. The reality of the historic importance that they claim is debatable, but you will definitely enjoy this place. Do visit if you have little extra time during your amritsar trip.

Great place for a morning walk. Bit noisy & sometimes crowded. Hear about people talking busy life, health and sip on to this protein rich soup made up of black grams. Also savour on black grams with some cut pieces of Amla. Yes your morning dose of vitamins and proteins gets good start. Cheers to life.

The only major govt. park having greenery, but there are many places where heaps of filth scattering hither & thither. It is clean only near Beer Bar Clubs/restros. inside its vicinity. It is a pity on the part of the administration, the main statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh(ridden on horse) as well as its surrpundings is in so very dilapidated condition.

Garden is good to visit in the morning and evening. A good place to hang out and walk. A panorama is inside this park. The panorama is also related to Maharaja Ranjit singh. Panorama is also nice and a good place to visit. Garden is generally crowded yet it is a beautiful and big garden.

This is one of the oldest and inspired gardens in India. This garden was constructed after the name of Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh Master. It is situated towards the north of the city. In 1818 Maharaja Ranjit Singh the first Sikh Ruler got constructed this garden where 14 feet high boundary wall was used and the garden was spread on area of 84 acres. In the centre of the garden a double story palace with basement was constructed and today it is known as palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Later in 1977 the Govt of India established a museum which has some rare priceless collections of manuscripts, paintings, weapons and Armours, and coins of the 18th and 19th century

Any 1 can sit beside d pool and enjoy d pleasant view of d Temple💕. As per history 👉 d man-made pool on d site of d temple was completed by d 4th Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das, in 1577. He started by completing d pool with d help of Baba Buddha.

Had got my head tied with a handkerchief by a man and admired the golden Gurdwara as a school going child. It was so calm and peaceful. This Gurdwara is an ideal holy place of worship for those who would like to seek blessings. It is a must visit and should not be missed.

Situated bit away from the main tourist attraction ,visiting this place will be worth it. Lassi were thick and normaly they top it with ghee. different flavours are available. It's very calm and peaceful worship place. Related to Shri Guru Arjun Dev ji, The fifth Guru of sikhs. Feeling blessed after visiting this place. Here a well with six 'harts' ( A device wich brings water out from well). By which this place get it's name. very huge community kitchen hall and very tasty food.

This place related to sikhesim. History of this place - Guru Arjan Dev Ji,the fifth Sikh guru,had q large well constructed in this area.The well was so large that it required 6 persian wheels to operate.chheharta got its name from the six wheels,where six chhe (punjabi: ਛੇ) and the persain wheel is called hart (punjabi : ਹਰਟ). The well was now been covered,but its water is still pumped to feed the main tank of the Gurudwara.now developed as industrial township,chheharta falls within the revenue limits of Vadali Guru, a village one km to the south, where guru arjan stayed during 1594-97.

Spiritual place to feel the calm and serene environment. One can feel the positive energy oozing throughout this Holy Place. No problem of parking as there is plenty of space available. It gets crowded on some special occasions. So, on that day its better to plan your visit first before you get stuck in traffic chaos as one has to pass railway crossing before reaching there. I couldn't forget that day where i was stuck on the crossing for at least 3 hours. Hope this never happens to anyone. Anyhow, must go place if you want to feel the presence of God.

Last year I visited Vrindavan with my family, and it was truly a beautiful experience. Vrindavan is such a peaceful and divine place. The ISKCON Temple there is really very beautiful, clean and full of positive vibes. We even danced and enjoyed a lot with my whole family. The atmosphere was so spiritual and joyful that it gave us unforgettable memories. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit Vrindavan and ISKCON Temple at least once in their life.

Experience is Good but Froad while paying.. As online all over it mentioned 600 but when they see big crowd payment change here in 700 or plus and no refreshment here.. Food quality is totally poor.. Pool and other activities according to kids are good but pool water is stop at any time.. If we pay alot then there is not be a single chance to stop water of pool for sliding.. 5/10.. Fun a lot but according to Value Quality is Not bee So Good..

A good place for water park enjoyment

It was waste of money to visit this place, Waterpark is very idle and no body comes, 700 rs charges is more than enough for this kind of water park.

First of all rate (800/pax) is too high. Slides are not working properly. Water not treated properly. Very bad experience

The dirtiest place I have ever visited changing room was really dirty and smelly please don’t waste your time and money it costs 600 for water park complete waste of money. It was really horrible experience for me and either the rides don’t work properly water was very dirty like a gutter.

The pool water is so dirty i got red rashes. please don't go there insted visit other water parks and they also take payment as cash no g-pay or credit debit modes of payments. From the last 2 years the ratings are very bad due to the closing of the Amusement park and very less maintenance. The guides don't even guide properly .

Had a fun day at Suncity, but it could be even better! Slides were thrilling and exciting. However, some areas seemed a bit rundown and could use a fresh coat of paint and touchups. Staircase is very slippery and dirty. Needs mat or carpeting..Cleanliness could also be improved in the restrooms and around the wave pool. With a little TLC, this water park could be a real splash!

Great experience especially on the open rooftop of the double decker bus. That mini road trip would feel wonderful (the return journey from Attari to Amritsar after evening is fabulous). The bus operator Iqbal Singh was pretty cool in handling and managing all the passengers.

It was a really beautiful journey. The tour guide was also one of the friendliest people & within limited time he tried to show all the important places & described briefly about them. It missed some places written originally on website but it was worth it. I'll highly recommend everyone to use this bus service instead of the auto services scamming people recklessly.

Our family really enjoyed eating here during our visit to Amritsar. Great value for money. My boys loved the pizza, pasta, periperi fries and Manchurian with rice. Food could've been more tastier, but overall Good mix of Indian and western foods. Food also came out very fast.

Gurudas Ram Jalebi is known for its Jalebi and Gulab Jamun. We tried only the Jalebi. it was fresh but on the thicker and less crunchy side; we personally prefer the thin, crispy type. The place isn’t immaculate, and the handwashing area is right next to where the food is prepared, which can be improved. It would be great if the local authorities and shop owners worked together to enhance hygiene, similar to how Indore has developed its street food zones.

Lived upto the expectations, Desi ghee jalebi is crispy and have rich aroma of desi ghee. Gulab jamun is super soft. Worth try if you visit Darbar Sahab. Do not forget to take away other sweets prepared by them. Desi ghee pinni and soan halwa is pure aromatic.

The Shaheedi well which itself tells the haunting story of Jallianwala bagh massacre . But after reconstructing it lost its value. Earlier there were above 25 bulletin marks on this wall. Now they just modified it and ruined its true form. The inside walls were painted.. outside walls been extended 😑 actually they ruined the Jallianwala bagh memorial.

No way out. Hundreds of innocent lives trapped, and mercilessly gunned down under General Dyer’s cold-blooded orders. When I reached the well that well, my heart broke. This wasn’t just stone and water. It was a sacred tomb. So many people, in desperation, leapt into its depths, trying to escape bullets. Mothers, children, elders… choosing to jump rather than be shot. I stood there frozen, and then I cried. Tears flowed for lives that never got justice, for voices that were never heard. The well holds their last breath. You can feel it. I sat at the Amar Jyoti, in silence, offering my prayers. It felt like the very ground still echoed with their final screams and hopes. The gallery and museum are beautifully preserved, telling stories not just of pain, but of resilience, unity, and the spirit of a people who rose from the ashes. Jallianwala Bagh is not just a place, it’s a pulse of India’s freedom, still beating through grief, still sacred.

The Martyrs' Well, located at Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab, is a poignant and historic symbol commemorating one of the darkest and most tragic episodes in India's struggle for independence. It serves as a grim reminder of the horrific events that unfolded on April 13, 1919, during the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, when British colonial troops under Brigadier General Reginald Dyer opened fire on a peaceful gathering of Indian civilians. Jallianwala Bagh was a public garden enclosed by high walls with only narrow entrances, located near the Golden Temple in Amritsar. On that day, thousands of people had assembled at the Bagh to celebrate the Sikh festival of Baisakhi and were also protesting non-violently against the repressive Rowlatt Act imposed by the British government, which allowed imprisonment without trial. Without any warning or order to disperse, General Dyer ordered his soldiers to fire indiscriminately into the crowd for about ten minutes, firing 1,650 rounds of ammunition. As the gunfire rained down, many trapped inside the enclosed space tried to escape but found themselves blocked by soldiers at the narrow exits. In a desperate attempt to save their lives, several people jumped into the well inside the garden, which is now known as the Martyrs' Well. Tragically, many drowned or were injured in the fall. According to the memorial plaque, about 120 bodies were recovered from the well, making it a grim site of sacrifice and loss. Today, the Martyrs' Well is preserved as a protected monument within the Jallianwala Bagh memorial complex. It stands surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden, offering visitors a solemn and reflective space to remember the victims. The well has been covered with a transparent barrier to preserve its sanctity, and informational plaques provide historical context about the massacre and the people who perished trying to escape the bullets. The walls of the garden still bear the bullet marks inflicted during the shooting, and the narrow entrance through which General Dyer’s troops entered remains unchanged, helping visitors imagine the scene of panic and helplessness endured by the victims. The Jallianwala Bagh complex also includes a memorial designed by American architect Benjamin Polk, inaugurated in 1961, which honors the martyrs with the eternal flame called "Amar Jyoti" symbolizing their undying spirit. Place where the freedom fighters fell into well when there was uninformed firing of bullets . The history says that, freedom fighters thought that ,it was better to die jumping to well and commit suicide than getting killed by the British people. Almost 120 bodies of Martyrs were recovered after the incident.

Beautiful renovation and the light and music show was very informative and intriguing. Must visit and attend the show which starts at 815 pm (Hindi version). Do visit this place before sunset to enjoy the rest of the bagh, as you won't be allowed to move around during the light and music show. And as soon as the show ends, the place is closed and you are asked to exit.

It's an amazing place. A tribute to 1919 jaliawala baag Martyrs. This park is now newly developed there are more gallary area they made in side the park. Where you can see the pictures of the jaliawala baag in those days and story behind it. Previously it has one entrence area and the same area I used for the exit. But no they isolate both now exit area is open up in the market area. Earlier there was no ticket system but looks like in the future they are planning a token system same a metro. Enterance also they chane notify can see the pictures on the walls. More green area and we'll maintained. Seriously I loved this place and it's just walkable distance from the golden temple. And you can cover this within 1 hr.

When we visited Harmindir Sahib grounds this was one of favorite experiences... Serving in the kitchen. Helping those that have nothing was a truly deep cultural experience especially in the cultural and religious center of Sikhism!! The tradition of serving langar Initiated by Guru Nanak Dev Ji and then established by the 3rd Guru Sri Guru Amar Dass Ji at Goindwal. The institution of Guru ka Langar has served the community in many ways. It has ensured the participation of women and children in a task of service for mankind. Women play an important role in the preparation of meals, and the children help in serving food to the pangat. Langar also teaches the etiquette of sitting and eating in a community situation, which has played a great part in upholding the virtue of sameness of all human beings; providing a welcome, secure and protected sanctuary. Everyone is welcome to share the Langar; no one is turned away. Each week a family or several families volunteer to provide and prepare the Langar. This is very generous, as there may be several hundred people to feed, and caterers are not allowed. All the preparation, the cooking and the washing-up is done by volunteers and or by voluntary helpers (Sewadars).

The spirit of seva (selfless service) and equality here is beyond words. Thousands of people from all walks of life sit together and share a simple, delicious vegetarian meal, served with so much love and humility.
