Nestled in a forest-like setting, the Philippine Eagle Center has been dedicated to the conservation and protection of the endangered Philippine Eagles since its establishment in 1987. The center offers educational tours where visitors can explore various attractions such as the Rainforest Walk, Raptor Garden, Incubation and Rearing Laboratory, Flight Zone, and Monkey Island. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to support the organization through donations, animal adoption programs, or purchasing eagle-themed products.
A Memorable Visit to the Philippine Eagle Center, Davao Our family had a wonderful time exploring the Philippine Eagle Center in Davao. It was a unique and meaningful experience—especially for the kids, who were excited to see animals they’d only seen in books or on TV. The highlight of our visit was seeing the Philippine Eagle up close—majestic, powerful, and truly one of a kind. The star of the center, Viggo, was a special moment for us. He’s not only an ambassador for conservation but also featured on the front of our P1,000 bill, which made the encounter even more memorable for the kids. Beyond the eagles, there were plenty of other animals to see—monkeys, crocodiles, and several species of birds including owls and hawks. Each enclosure had informative signs that helped us learn about the animals and their conservation status. The center does a good job of keeping the place shaded and natural, so walking around was comfortable even during midday. The kids especially enjoyed the lush, green surroundings and had fun spotting the animals inside their forest-like enclosures. One of our favorite photo spots was the little archway covered in vines and foliage—perfect for a family picture. We left feeling more connected to Philippine wildlife and more appreciative of efforts to protect endangered species like our national bird. If you ever find yourself in Davao, this is a must-visit for families, nature lovers, and anyone wanting to teach kids about the importance of conservation.

One of my favorite places we visited during our educational tour was the Philippine Eagle Center. Because it has a lot of beautiful views with a lot of different kind of animal especially the philippine eagle. The place was clean and peaceful, which made the tour really nice. The tour guides knew a lot and helped us during the whole visit. The center was clean and well taken care of. You can tell they work hard to keep it nice. That why I had a great time walking around and looking at the animals. This trip made me understand how important it is to protect animals that are in danger and how important it is to take care of our nature. I also liked the handmade souvenirs they were very pretty and creative. Overall, the Philippine Eagle Center was a great experience, hoping to visit this place again with my family.
Marden C — Google review
My visit to the Philippine Eagle Center was a memorable one, especially for the chance to see the majestic Philippine Eagle up close—a rare and inspiring experience for any nature lover. The animals looked healthy and well-cared for, and it was delightful to see the monkeys playfully reacting to our presence, showing just how lively and alert they are in their enclosures. The tour was fairly quick, mainly because there were no scheduled animal exhibitions or guided tours during our weekday visit, which I understand may be part of their regular operating limitations. However, it would have been more engaging if the staff were more accommodating, especially in guiding guests on where to go or how to best navigate the area. Having a tour guide or at least more signage would definitely enhance the experience. The entrance fee as of August 2025 was ₱150 per person, plus an environmental fee of ₱5 at the gate—very reasonable considering the conservation efforts the center supports. While a few animals seemed a bit stressed, and the experience felt more self-guided than interactive, seeing the Philippine Eagle in person makes the trip absolutely worth it. It’s a good place for a short, educational visit, especially if you're passionate about wildlife conservation and biodiversity in the Philippines.
Michael Z — Google review
Visiting the Philippine Eagle Center in Malagos, Davao City is a truly unforgettable experience. Nestled in a lush forested area, the center offers a close encounter with the country’s national bird, the majestic Philippine Eagle, while also serving as a reminder of the importance of wildlife conservation. Walking through the 8-hectare sanctuary, you’ll see not only the eagles but also other fascinating animals like owls, deer, and crocodiles. The guided talks and interactive exhibits make the visit both educational and inspiring, giving you a deeper appreciation of the eagle’s role in the ecosystem and the challenges it faces in the wild. What makes the trip even more meaningful is knowing that every entrance fee and souvenir purchase supports ongoing conservation programs. The peaceful environment, rich greenery, and chance to witness one of the world’s rarest eagles up close make the Philippine Eagle Center a must-see destination when exploring Davao.
Chris L — Google review
The few eagles that i saw where cool, but there wasnt a lot of them. You had to pay to get into the center then you had to pay again to see the eagles. It was a nice perserve.
Muzzy B — Google review
This place is worth visiting! We loved seeing the Philippine Eagles in person. They looked majestic. The place looks surreal and looks well taken cared of. I highly recommend this to people who are looking for a quiet escape in Davao.
Kiko T — Google review
The birds are well kept and maintained and the introduction to animals are on conspicuous place. The center also house owls, monkey, phyton, deer and crocodiles.
Rhodora V — Google review
THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAVAO TRIP! The Philippine Eagle Center is around 1hr away from Davao City. We had to ride a van from Bangkerohan to Calinan, then a Bao-Bao to the site. You need to pay for a PHP5.00 environmental fee, then PHP150.00 to get inside the exhibit area. They offered to give us a guided tour for free. Our guide are student volunteers to the organization. He was really helpful in explaining the efforts of the organization for the animals under their care, as well as the information about them. If you want to see them eat, come around 10AM because that's their feeding time. I was really amazed to see the different animals they have here, especially the different Philippine Eagles. As per our guide, the eagles rotate the enclosures every few months or so. They also give them live rabbits as food to preserve their hunting instinct. For the price that you're paying for, going here and supporting this place is really worth it.

Mount Apo, the highest mountain in the Philippines, is an active volcano with a tropical forest, geysers, and waterfalls. Standing at 2,954 meters above sea level, it is a paradise for nature lovers with its diverse flora and fauna thriving in its unspoiled environment. The rugged terrain offers hidden streams for adventurers to discover.
Conquering Mt. Apo - the highest mountain peak in the Philippines, 2,954 meters above sea level. This is the hardest climb I have done, but also the most rewarding. Trails of Kapatagan lead through forests, sulfur vents, and volcanic rocks to breathtaking summit views.
Marc — Google review
The beautiful Grandfather of all Philippine Mountains, Mt Apo! The first day's trail was a tad forgiving but the boulder face on the 2nd day had our knees shaking... Literally! But our determination to make it to the summit remained unwavering. Anyone who attempts to reach the summit thru sta Cruz trail should prepare mentally and physically! Boulder face is no joke. It nearly drained the life out of us.. and it was only 6 in the morning! 😂 Also, prepare for unpredictable weather conditions. Tinikaran campsite and camp Reyes can both get really cold it'll make you shiver at night especially when it rains. But with the right gears, you'll be fine :) The guides were extra helpful and considerate especially to beginners. Took an extra mile by sharing with us their drinking water. Water source to the summit from the campsite is so scarce so that's one thing one should prepare. We were also happy to turn the climb into a learning experience for our son about the forest with its flora and fauna. Overall, the entire experience was rewarding and worthwhile. We sincerely hope we can summit again in the future.

One of my Greatest adventure as a hiker. Will definitely go back here and try other trail.
Shiela S — Google review
Loved Mt. Apo. My climb of the year! (December 10-12, 2022) I want to go back to this mountain in the future and take the same trail again which is the Sta Cruz Trail (circuit). At the time of our hike was amazing due to nice weather. Thank you Lord for the clearing. The organizers (i-Trekkers) were very accommodating and caring to us and they'd made us laugh all the time. Overall, it was fun and unforgettable experience in hiking Mt. Apo. 🧡❤️

These pictures were taken last April 30- May 1, 2022. Our group had the chance encounter of the injured warty pig wandering near the summit. Weeks after, the DENR brought a veterinarian to treat its injuries. There have been no sightings of it since its recovery.
Arianne B — Google review
The highest summit in the country. Very beautiful scenery. It has differently unique sites. The boulder area is very challenging yet astounding. The summit has 360degree view of neighboring summits in Mindanao. Lake Venado is an enchanting water that gives a wonderful reflection of the summit. Different trails have different challenges. A really fulfilling experience!
Tupe D — Google review
Our Mt Apo climb. I was a newbie back then, unaware of the things concerning hiking/mountaineering, I was with Osmond and Lisa, also newbies, we were really unprepared, but though it was really tiring - (6 hours of hiking to get to the campsite and 3 hours more to get to the summit), it’s one of the best experiences I had. Hiking the highest peak in the Philippines is a one of a kind experience. We were able to go thru different terrains. It was tiring yet a fun filled adventure!

Park
People's Park is a sprawling city park that offers a variety of attractions and activities for visitors. The Durian Dome, a prominent landmark within the park, showcases unique architectural design resembling a giant durian fruit and serves as a multi-purpose space for events and gatherings. This 4-acre tropical rainforest park features ponds, waterfalls, shady trees, and wildlife such as wild eagles.
I went here on a weekday afternoon. There's also one entrance and one exit. It felt secure because security will check your bags before you go inside. It's reallh nice to walk around the place because it has a lot of Davao-inspired architecture like the durian-shaped roof, Philippine eagle sculptures, Waling-waling, etc. A lot of people were jogging around the oval, some people are using the calisthenics equipment. Inside the People's Park is the National Museum of the Philippines (Davao), you can also go there for free.
Marc J — Google review
People’s Park is a great place to relax, unwind, or squeeze in some light exercise. It’s free and very accessible, making it a convenient spot for locals and tourists alike. I could easily imagine myself living nearby and visiting regularly to jog or simply enjoy the fresh air. The park also has a playground area where kids can play and explore, which adds to its family-friendly charm. There’s also some interesting art and sculptures that give the park a unique personality. That said, it could really benefit from better maintenance. Some areas feel a bit run down. If it were cleaner and better cared for, this park would easily deserve a five-star rating. Overall, it’s still a nice and enjoyable place, especially if you’re looking for a free and peaceful hangout surrounded by trees and greenery.
Chad M — Google review
This was the First time I encountered a gated and secured public park. Free Entrance for all. Nice place to relax and sit under the trees. Next to it is The National Museum.

My kids love our visit. There's a playground and I love that they have to remove their shoes there. We also love the pigeons. There's also a field great for picnics.
Ruenna R — Google review
Kind off good place, free ticket, and lots of places to sit under the trees. Thankyou for the nice experience, i hope all the facilities can be well maintained and updated.
Peni P — Google review
June 2025 │ Davao City’s People's Park used to be the “it” park when it opened in 2007 and was even awarded as one of the cleanest and greenest public parks in the Philippines at one time. However, as Davao City became more progressive, hosting more malls and shopping centers, creating more public parks and playgrounds, developing commercial spaces north and south, People's Park became the lesser choice among park-goers, domestic tourists, staycationers, and flaneurs. Since this is open publicly and is exposed to the ever-changing weather of the city, the hardscapes and landscapes have been difficult to maintain; that some parts are really slippery with algae, lichens, liverworts and mosses. Even the growing tree roots and trunks are changing the land surface, including the cemented ones. The once lively fountain surrounded by works of art by the famous Kublai Millan is now dead and home to algae or pond scum. A pond nearby that was once home to live fishes is also dead with decaying leaves and tree debris. Some park benches are falling apart or are completely damaged. Though there is clear dilapidation here and there, the park remains alive with visitors even on a Sunday especially from families and dating partners who enjoy the shade of the mini-forest. They make good of what is available within the compound. Students enjoy the open ground, and while fitness enthusiasts enjoy a weekend jog along the paved walkway. I wonder if the scenery changes on weekdays cause some part of the area is closed on Sunday – the Durian Dome and the Children’s Fun Park.
Francis J — Google review
A nice place to go for a walk. But maybe not so safe for tourists. A lot of young local people following me around giggling. Harassment. I wouldn’t return to this park again.

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Davao Riverfront Crocodile Park & Zoo is a renowned attraction in Davao City, showcasing the state-of-the-art crocodile farming system of the Philippines. Visitors can get up close with various reptiles like saltwater crocodiles, freshwater crocodiles, and pythons. The park also features educational exhibits such as the Butterfly Museum and Tribu KMindanawa Cultural Village.
Davao Crocodile Park is a fantastic place to visit, especially for families and kids! While the name suggests it’s all about crocodiles, the park actually features a wide variety of animals. Beyond the impressive crocodiles, you’ll find different species of birds, turtles, a fascinating orangutan, as well as majestic tigers and lions. It’s both educational and entertaining, making it very child-friendly with plenty of opportunities for little ones to learn and explore safely. Plus, there’s a nice souvenir shop where you can grab memorable keepsakes. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Davao!
Maria L — Google review
As someone who has visited Davao Crocodile Park and Zoo multiple times, I can truly say it’s more than just a tourist destination – it’s a place for learning, fun, and appreciation of wildlife. Each visit offers something new: from watching the thrilling crocodile feeding sessions to seeing exotic animals like tigers, snakes, and rare birds up close. The zoo is clean and well-maintained, and the staff are approachable and knowledgeable. Kids and adults alike enjoy the interactive shows and educational talks, especially the weekend animal encounters. It’s a great place to bond with family, take photos, and even learn about conservation. There’s also a souvenir shop and snack bar to complete the experience. Definitely a must-visit in Davao – and worth coming back to!

Davao Riverfront Crocodile Park & Zoo is a fun and enjoyable place to visit with family and friends. The animals are well taken care of, and the park offers a good variety of attractions that both kids and adults will appreciate. It’s clean, well-maintained, and definitely worth experiencing when in Davao. The only downside is that the entrance fee and some activities feel a little bit pricey. Overall, still a great place to spend a day and create lasting memories.
Bon S — Google review
We visited the park midday on a weekday as part of a city tour. There weren't many people, which made for a very easy and relaxed look around. The park offers a respectable assortment of animals, including crocodiles (of course), tigers, zebras, and various birds/raptors and other reptiles. Since I'd never seen a crocodile before, that's where I spent most of my time—it was genuinely intriguing. My key takeaway: If you are in the area and contemplating a visit, I advise checking recent reviews from others first. The current standard adult rate of ₱450 (Philippine Pesos) is something you should consider against the scope of the zoo before making your decision. Note: the entry stamp they use took several days to completely wash off!
Craig M — Google review
The total entrance fee for the three of us was Php 1,300 including my 9 year old son, there is no separate fee for kids. We went there on a weekend and the place was packed. The kids enjoyed the show at 4pm showcasing their animal ambassadors. The host was engaging and the animal trainers were great. The place in general is good.
An M — Google review
This was an unexpected but enjoyable trip with the kids. We only got 4 hours in Davao, we went here for just an hour. Sadly we were not able to catch up with the show. Still, the kids enjoyed it so much. Our tour guide in the park was truly helpful.
Erik S — Google review
450 for the entrance, which is a bit much considering the state of their Zoo right now. It is smelly, stinky, and it makes me dizzy. They could have at least cleaned the cages because the smell is so bad. I also saw an injured cat, one of its legs was broken, they could’ve helped the cat::(. Nice view tho, it just needs to be cleaned.

It is a small museum, but worth seeing if you are interested in Davao history.

This Museum was previously located in a Old Structure. It moved to a newer building, and smaller too. Exhibit is only at the 1st floor. You can finish with this stop in just 5 minutes or less, unless you would stare at each item for a minute which will take you around 50 minutes. The Lady at the Museum if you can call it a museum said that they will be moving to another place. Hope it will be better than this. Staff here are friendly though.

Roxas Night Market in Davao is a vibrant and bustling hub of local street food, offering a wide array of authentic Filipino delicacies. From skewered isaw to balut and sinuglaw, visitors can indulge in an eclectic mix of flavors. The market also features Mang Dannys Ice Cream, where eager patrons patiently line up for scoops of dirty ice cream or sorbetes.
We went here on a weekend for dinner. Grilled fish dishes were great - tuna and catfish, but grilled pork and bbq were bland. Charcoal ice cream is a must try (mix it with other flavors). Got a pair of NB shoes from thrift shops along the market! High police visibility, peaceful and tourist friendly place.

Very nice experience. The food was good and people were nice. Security is doing their job seriously and it's very safe. They also have an area where you can live big packages you're carrying. Good place to find clothes and shoes, very cheap.

I didn’t expect that it’s this huge. A lot of stalls of food, clothes, souvenirs etc. This even has a massage area where you can relax. Food was proven safe. My tummy is super sensitive but it did get upset. Prices are the usual price for a night market. Location is easy to find. Accessible to jeepneys, taxis

This is a night market in Davao that is abundant of food stalls and cheap items. This place is proper having security check in, segregation and properly organized overall, in line with the whole city. The food is good and the stuff is cheap. There is also jewelry and souvenirs. You should check it out when visiting here.
Kyle_58 — Google review
It was not the same as before, I first went here 9 years ago. There were little to no food options. Almost all the food sellers offer the same array of food. Food options: BBQ (pork, seafood, chicken, beef, hotdogs), KINILAW & SINIGANG. Juice sellers - same flavors Fried street food - calamares, fishballs etc The whole food street is just filled with multiple stalls with the same options.
Chai — Google review
This is definitely an experience a tourist should go to when in Davao. There are so many food options that I got dizzy just thinking about what to eat. It’s good that there are maby tables available so there’s no problem eating what you ordered immediately.

A lot of varieties of food. I just had some issues getting in as they have a policy that backpacks are not allowed inside so you have to leave them in a area if you're a tourist. Also indicated time of opening on maps is different. They open at 6pm.

Jack's Ridge, situated on a picturesque hilltop in Davao City, is not just a dining destination but also a historical site with insights into World War II. It offers stunning panoramic views of the city and the Davao Gulf, especially enchanting at sunset and night. The area was once part of the Japanese forces' headquarters during the war. Visitors can savor Filipino cuisine while taking in the breathtaking vistas or enjoy live piano performances at the BMW Piano Bar.
LOVED THIS PLACE the location is amazing the food is amazing the staff is nice and there is a nice band at night. The view is very cool you can look over davao city and see everything! I definitely recommend coming here it's my second time really yummy!! Great place to visit in Davao, shouldn't skip!!!💓

Honest Review! The location is superb! Giving you the best view of Davao City but overall the food is not worth the price, a bit pricey and some dishes lacks of flavor. We only like their tuna belly sinigang and pomelo salad. Paid 3.2k including serving charge.

Always find myself coming back here 💙 Everytime I'm in Davao. ☺️ Such a perfect spot to tambay and muni-muni while enjoying the cool breeze and peaceful vibe. 🌬️✨ Best time to visit is at night — the city lights are just magical! 🌃🤩 If you love quiet moments with a stunning view, this place will win your heart too. 💫

We were amazed with the new designed restaurant. As we were approaching 3-4 waiters were standing inside the front door and we thought they’re about to opened the door for us. I know i expect too much but they were blocking the front door. I pushed the door myself to let ourselves in. When we finished eating we ordered dessert and we had to asked to clear our empty plates coz the waiter is about to serve it without clearing our table. Plus waiters are not acting very attentive to customers and they only had 3 tables to attend that time. I also expect them to act professional please! They gossip and joking around in front of us. Other than that, food was ok. This place is almost perfect! We say this things for them to improve their service.

San Miguel light ice cold and always a waiter checking on your needs! Remind yourself you’re on an Island with breathtaking views of Samal Island, Davao Gulf and coastal Davao City! If you haven’t tried this jewel of Davao, you must! YOU’LL LOVE IT!!!

Nestled just an hour's drive from the bustling city center, Eden Nature Park is a stunning 80-hectare mountain resort that boasts over 100,000 majestic pine trees. While only about 5% of this beautiful area is natural, the rest has been thoughtfully replanted since the early '70s to rejuvenate the landscape affected by illegal logging. Visitors rave about its breathtaking views and refreshing breezes, making it a perfect spot for leisurely strolls through various gardens.

Zoo
Davao, the third most significant city in the Philippines, is well-connected by domestic airlines to major cities like Manila, Cebu City, and others. In downtown Davao, you can find popular attractions such as the Philippine Eagle Centre, Tamayong Prayer Mountain, and the famous Crocodile Park. The park showcases state-of-the-art crocodile farming with thousands of freshwater and saltwater reptiles bred on site.
They have shows that are amusing. There are birds and animals that you can see.
Gemalyn B — Google review
This is my first time at the park. I didn't go to the zoo or the butterfly house(being renovated). I did like the park, there is a lot of open area for soccer (football here) and basketball. Being an American, i was surprised by the roosters 🐓 and a small food shack with great empanada. Who would have expected empanada in a Philippines park??.
Robert H — Google review
A must-visit attraction in Davao! The Crocodile Park & Zoo offers a fun mix of adventure, learning, and relaxation. My family and I really enjoyed the different animal encounters, especially seeing the crocodiles, tigers, birds, and snakes up close. The park is clean, well-maintained, and has friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the animals. The shows and feeding sessions were also entertaining and educational, making the experience even more memorable. The only downside is that the entrance fee and some activities are a bit pricey compared to other attractions. Still, it’s a unique experience that you won’t easily find elsewhere. Overall, it’s a great place to spend a few hours with kids, friends, or family while learning about wildlife and conservation. Definitely worth visiting when in Davao City!

Visiting Davao Crocodile Park was such a heart-warming experience. It felt like healing my inner child—seeing the animals up close, especially the crocodiles, was both thrilling and nostalgic. There’s something magical about reconnecting with that sense of wonder from childhood. However, I noticed that the park could really benefit from more maintenance. Some areas looked a bit worn down and could use a refresh to make the experience even better for visitors and the animals. Still, it was a meaningful trip, and I’m grateful for the little spark of joy it brought. Hoping the park gets the care it needs so future generations can feel the same magic.

It's a zoo with crocodiles as the main attraction. But they have new animals such as the zebra, capybaras, and the Bengal tigers. They have activities that are engaging for both kids and adults - like their bird shows, and cultural performances. They have stores that offer refreshments and snacks so you don't have to worry if you go hungry or thirsty - might wanna try their crocodile ice cream if you're up to it. 😅
Ephma S — Google review
Great place for children to explore some of the wildlife in the Philippines and pet a python and wrap it around the neck for fun. The show is a good intro too. They just need to focus on upkeep.

If you are a tourist in Davao it is one of the main atractions. Variety species of local animals. Interesting to see. Please do not expect a european zoo experience. Outdoor in high heat take a sun prof unbrella can be useful. They run 2 shows at 10.00am and 16.00.
Oya O — Google review
Sure, the entrance fee is affordable… but at what cost? The animals are stuck in such tight, cramped spaces. Seeing the lion in a small cage honestly broke my heart. I can’t help but feel so sad for them. Also the owl… in a very small cage. My goodness. If the animals could speak, I’m sure they’d be begging for space, freedom, and a better life.

Nestled in the mountains of Davao City, Eden Nature Park & Resort is an 80-hectare low-key retreat offering a range of activities and amenities. The resort features a pool, fishing ponds, and a zipline for adventure enthusiasts. Guests can also explore the park's lush gardens and scenic trails or dine at one of its three restaurants. Additionally, visitors can enjoy encounters with deer in the park.
Visiting Eden Farm was such a refreshing and grounding experience. The natural beauty of the place, combined with the warm hospitality of the staff, made it truly memorable. Everything felt well-maintained, and you can tell the farm is run with love and dedication. I especially enjoyed the guided tour — informative yet relaxed — and the opportunity to see where our food comes from. It’s an ideal spot for families, nature lovers, or anyone just needing a break from the usual routine. Thank you, Eden Farm, for reminding me how wonderful slow living and fresh air can be. Can’t wait to come back!

We visited Eden Nature Park for my cousin’s wedding and the surroundings were undeniably beautiful. The crisp air, towering pine trees, and lush greenery made it a refreshing escape from the city. One of the highlights was spotting both white and colorful peacocks casually roaming the grounds, which made for such unique and charming moments. The views from the park were incredible and made every walk feel like a peaceful nature retreat. There were plenty of picturesque corners, especially near the “I ❤️ Eden” and heart arch signs that are perfect for photos. However, while the environment was lovely, the overall experience felt a little underwhelming. There were times when the facilities seemed a bit dated, and some areas felt like they needed more care or a bit of maintenance. It would’ve been great to see more guided experiences or better signage to help us explore more easily. Still, for those wanting fresh air, peaceful vibes, and nature shots with peacocks, this place has its charms. Just keep expectations moderate when it comes to amenities and upkeep.

I recently visited Eden Nature Park & Resort in Toril, Davao City, and I must say the experience was very underwhelming. We paid ₱800 for the entrance fee, expecting a worthwhile experience as suggested by the staff, particularly the chance to see many birds. Unfortunately, there was very little to see, and overall it did not justify the price. For guests who are only visiting and not staying overnight or availing of activities, the entrance fee feels far too expensive for what is offered. At the very least, the management should consider lowering the entrance fee for day visitors, as the current rate does not match the actual experience. I would not recommend this place to those who only plan to do a short visit, as it is not worth the cost. Improvements in pricing and attractions would go a long way toward making the resort a better value for guests.

Our stay at Eden Park was very disappointing. The room was full of molds, which even made us feel sick. The overall setup of the room was not aesthetic at all—it looked very old and creepy, with outdated furniture, bed arrangement, and lighting. Honestly, the only decent part of the room was the bathroom, which was okay compared to everything else. The restaurant was another letdown. The food selection was very limited, the taste was not good, and the surroundings were unpleasant because of the piles of garbage around, making the place look dirty and unwelcoming. Overall, the experience was not worth the price. The place seriously needs renovation, proper cleaning, and better maintenance if they want to make it relaxing and enjoyable for guests.

Wow 😲 That was a really nice experience. Driving up to the mountain. What a view! Fishing 🎣 and having those grilled straight from the pond. That we can call fresh food 🤤 The staff was really friendly and helpful. First time in my life I didn't have to put the worm 🪱 to the hook, neither take a fish out of hook. That I call service. Everyone got enough fish to eat. The most fun we got, when we catched catfishes 🦈 What a day! Thank you Eden Nature Park! 🙏 You grilled our fish perfectly. I was there as a tourist from Europe and others were locals. Everyone loved the day. 🤜🤛

We visited Eden Garden yesterday as a group of 21 pax with 2 under age 3y/o. The visit does not satisfy us. The entrance price does is far to much of what they can offer inside the park. We 1st visited the Flower Garden thinking it will give us stunning view however the place was obviously not maintaine well. In our overall experienced it was like a face to face scam. If your thinking to visit this place you better change your plan. This place is not worth to go, I will never recommend this site to anyone.

Place is nice and huge. Just close to 45mins away from the city. They have various gardens and wildlife inside the resort. It also has a cool weather. For daytime trippers, the entrance fee is a bit steep. It comes with a lunch buffet but the menu is surprisingly small for that price. The food was okay though. The entrance doesn’t include any rides, you have to pay it separately per ride. Take note, the rides don’t open until 1pm. So if you’re here early better bring your own camp chair to lounge around.

San Pedro Cathedral, also known as San Pedro Church, is the oldest Catholic church in Davao City. Originally built by Oyanguren and named after St. Peter, it has undergone several reconstructions and remodelings over the years. The current wooden Neo-Gothic structure was reconstructed by Architect Ramon Basa and later remodeled by Architect Manuel Chiew in 1964, featuring a boat-shaped roof symbolizing St. Peter's life as a fisherman.

We went for a day trip with family and availed the buffet for lunch. There is plenty of food to choose from and it was delicious! If you're a bird lover, we highly recommend watching their bird show because it was entertaining and spend some time in their bird feeding dome to see more adorable birds. If you're with kids, chocolate making is a must-try. The kids had fun and chose their own toppings. The weather wasn't that good during our visit, but we managed to enjoy the trip. The kids also loved feeding the ducks and goats. If you're in Davao, Malagos Garden Resort is a must-see.

We just drop by and availed their day tour with lunch yesterday. The place has improved since the last time we've been here. The staff are good, especially the staff who toured us around the facility. He was so accommodating and delivered perfect service. I was just sad I didn't got his name. The food was good, we tried the cold version of sikwate, the chocolate cake and others which is so good. This place is good for family, friends and business. We just didn't tried checking in. Hope to try staying next time.

It's a nice and beautiful park and the lunch package was very pleasant. However, I was thoroughly disappointed in the petting zoo after seeing these reviews. The goats are locked in a tiny square box with a wooden panel and nothing else. The horses at the stable had no water in this heat. Absolutely devastating to see. It's a very nice place to visit but please treat your animals better if you are going to exploit them through feeding moments anyway.
Allyssa — Google review
We took a day tour which included lunch. They had a few dishes you could choose from for lunch, and dessert was also included. Drinks came with an extra charge. We came a little over and hour before they closed the kitchen for lunch, so we enjoyed our meal before walking around the gardens and checking out the small chocolate factory. The fee for the tour would have been worth the price had we arrived sooner and stayed longer so we could see more of the resort. However, due to the heat and humidity, we didn't stay long.

I would come back here and still be surprised. Really fun experience! It's unlike any place I've been where the perimeter is huge but the things you can do is small, but here it's beyond! You can do alot of fun things not just you find exciting but also your family and friends:D We stayed there for two days as our last trip before my mother's partner goes back outside the country. It was a last minute trip— but worth it💗 We're really glad we spent a day exploring! The food was awesome and delicious (it even has cool fishes:3), getting to see and touch butterflies and birds up close, BIRDSHOW??:0 idk if it's always like this but at that time the pool didn't really have a lot of people, which was cool. Horseback riding (I felt bad for the horse at the carousel ride, bcus after a group was riding, we were next. We weren't really alot, but I can tell the horse is tired:<), and making CHOCOLATE??? the gardens are ON TOP, even the kids playground. It was like we haven't spent an entire day outside with all the technologies around these days. The staffs are so kind and understable too, very observant:D I would come back here next time and definitely recommend it. Didn't have a lot of pictures since we were so caught up on the fun! Kids were happy, adults were VERY pleased with the rooms, they couldn't even shut up about the place! 💗🥀

Yo! The place is generally okay but I think there's a few missed opportunities here and there. Landscaping and infrastructure are not at their best and the food was okay at best. We came on a weekday lunch and it was pretty obvious that the food was reheated. The restaurant and the pool areas were clean but the rest of the facilities were a bit dreary. Even the museum and the information about chocolate production (which was certainly a highlight--love the narrative) could use some updating. I also feel that this place deserves a super talented chef. It could really compete with the likes of Antonio's in Tagaytay. Granted we paid a measly 650 pesos, I'd still pay for a more premium experience. I think there's also space to differentiate the experience for premium-seeking and regular customers. That said I cannot say enough to praise the chocolate story and the kind staff. Madayaw!

Fritzie P — Google review
One of the places we visited in Davao back in 2016 was the Davao Butterly House. I thought it would be more of a garden. I did not have high expectations. I’ve been to several butterfly houses and gardens but butte4lies are skittish creatures. It’s quite hard to see them fluttering about when there are people about. When we first entered, we didn’t see that many butterflies. I was right. Most of them will fly away at the first signs of humans. So I busied myself with the other features of the place. Curiosity led me to this wooden shelf with curious little things stuck to it. It turned out to be the chrysalis of butterflies! It was the first time I saw a chrysalis. It was amazing to see something so tiny. Imagine that from them, beautiful creatures will emerge. While looking through the chrysalis, i chanced upon an eclosing. According to the card on the wall, eclosing is the term when a butterfly emerges from the chrysalis. And what a sight it was. I never thought I’d witness a butterfly actually emerge from the cocoon. It was truly amazing. After witnessing the eclosing, I went and explored the rest of the garden. By then, the weather was cooler and there were lesser people. Butterflies started to emerge here and there. We were anle to see loads of butterflies but I couldn’t get a decent photo.
Sharlyn P — Google review
The play area outside is not safe for children. The back of the plastic butterfly cannot be climbed upon as it is lined with spikes (to simulate the follicles). The slide, teeter totter and swing are all rusted, dirty and ill-maintained. Inside the facility there are few readable visual aides to help people learn. For example the exhibit about a butterfly’s life cycle is like replicas or fossils strung on wires. An audio tutorial can’t be that costly. The trail around the periphery of the museum is narrow. We were in a large group. People pushing, trying to see disadvantaged the small children there. Again, signage (photos, places of origin, et.) would have helped.

When I went there, it was open but no one was there. I went inside, and there were little butterflies.

Museum
The National Museum of the Philippines - Davao is a captivating destination that invites you to delve into the vibrant heritage of Mindanao. As you explore its well-curated exhibits, you'll gain insights into the rich cultural tapestry woven by various communities, including indigenous and Moro groups. The museum not only showcases Davao's historical evolution but also features knowledgeable guides who enhance your visit with their expertise.
If you're visiting Davao, you need to visit this museum. The admission is FREE. This is located behind the People's Park in Davao City. The museum highlights the minerals and rocks that you can find in the Mindanao region. Sculptures, pottery, old china, loaned artworks from artists like Ang Kiukok (National Artist for Visual Arts) — which I personally loved. The exhibit also includes the different tribes in Mindanao, with their traditional/tribal wear, tools, and musical instruments and also the flora and fauna of Mindanao. If you're a visitor, read the guidelines first and be respectful. Don't just visit for photos, learn the history and the rich culture of Mindanao.

Visiting the National Museum of the Philippines in Davao was both fun and educational. Each floor has different kinds of arts and craftsmanship that's is related to our cultures, nature and many more, which made it very interesting cause you can see a lot of things in just one place. The staff were very kind and made sure we had a good and meaningful time. They also strictly followed the museum rules, which I liked because it shows they really care about keeping the artifacts and displays safe for future visitors. Each display tells an interesting story and helps you learn more about our past. It’s a great place to better understand and appreciate Philippine heritage. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about our history in a respectful and enjoyable way.

Came here on a Sunday, expecting the museum would be quiet. But surprisingly, there were so many people, including families! It was nice to see that there were people interested in the museum. Entrance is free. Wheelchair-accessible. Wear appropriate clothing. Don’t take videos of the paintings.

Visited last week of June 2025. It was a weekday. One thing I would have to suggest is to provide signs on where to enter to reach the museum. It is situated in People's Park but not much information is posted on which pathway should be taken to go there. The museum offers a great experience in knowing the rich history and biodiversity of Mindanao, especially Davao. It is well curated and many interesting information to read in the description of the preserved animals, artifacts, and clothings. If you are the type of person who enjoy this kind of educational tour, it is worthwhile to visit the musuem. The place is also air-conditioned so it is fun to go upstairs and see the culture and history. What I've mostly seen and read on books, it is found in the museum. It is an enriching experience. I would definitely recommend to friends and people who'd ask where to explore when they go to Davao. Another bonus feature is that they provide qr codes of an English version of the texts beside the artifacts.
Rechelle M — Google review
This place has lots of interesting information and collections related to the Mindanao history, dressing, weapons used apart from showcasing the vast minerals obtained through through volcanic mountain of Apo. Such a nice place to visit when you want to kill time during your visit in Davao. Entrance is FREE. It is located inside the People’s Park so make sure that when you ride a taxi, make this as your drop-off point. They don’t allow any bags inside except for very small ones. Also liquids are also to be left at their registration booth and can be claimed upon exit. 4 floors of fully informative elements that encompasses our life on earth and some historical events about Davao. My kid enjoyed our visit.

Chief complaint from my experience: Filipinos have real difficulty following instructions so while I was there, two groups of teenagers physically touched the mixed media artwork of Kublai Millan. One group was caught red-handed and was reprimanded by the guard on duty. Recommendations: (1) additional manpower to man each area though that would be costly, (2) additional “Do Not Touch” warning beside each display especially those that are physically exposed, (3) placement of stanchion or markers that say do not go beyond this line to protect the exposed art pieces, and (4) mechanism for visitors that are not following the guidelines. Wish list: additional art pieces, maybe 😊

This museum is located inside the People's Park. We went here around 2PM Saturday so there were a lot of people queuing outside. We waited for around 10mins. Entrance is free. Security is nice, you can't bring your big bags inside but they have a baggage counter. The displays are well-kept and very informational. The descriptions are written in both Bisaya and English. There are 4 floors and we started from the top going down.

D' Bone Collector Museum, located in Davao City, is a unique educational establishment showcasing an extensive collection of preserved animal skeletons and bones from around the world. Founded by American naturalist Darrell Blatchley, the museum aims to raise awareness about environmental issues impacting wildlife. Visitors can explore over 700 species on display, including a remarkable 41-foot sperm whale skeleton.
Definitely a great place to learn. The guide was very helpful and informative. The stories behind some of the animals were touching and an eye opener for us.

Went here on a Saturday a few minutes after they opened at 10 am. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s a nice museum. The cost of admission (p250) includes a tour guide. The guided tour lasts about 15-20 minutes and then you can look at the exhibits in more detail and take pictures. Plenty of interesting things to check out. We spent about 30-40 minutes total there which is plenty of time to see everything. It’s worth checking out!

The history of the Philippines has had many stories from us rising from the power of the corrupt to polluting and changing the climate. This museum elaborates on the stories behind the creatures that we have wronged and those which we miss. I highly recommend going to this place for a change of pace. Make sure to bring your family and friends to awe at the amazing history of animals in the Philippines.

Great learning experience for those who are interested in this subject. The collection is huge with 3 floors of display and information. The guide was well informed, friendly and patient with kids. Entry fee is reasonable!

Great place to learn about all different kinds of animals! The tour guide was very nice , but it tends to be rather hot inside with a little aircon, couldn't breath so good but it was very nice would just get 5 stars if there was more aircon!

The place is a challenge to reach if DIY/walking from the Davao Museum, but this is usually included in tour packages, so just get that. Has three floors. Entrance is 250php. If you're a fan of this type of collection, then don't miss it.

Date of visit 2024 Aug 26. Time of visit 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Overall 8.875. Sight Seeing 10. Activity N.A. Indoor Air conditioning / Ventilation 8. Ambience 9.5. Location 8. Expected activity 1 to 1.5 hours. Sight Seeing: The museum has a rather large collection of land animals, sea animals and dinosaur bones. The displays, set up and large variety of bones is pretty impressive. Indoor Air conditioning / Ventilation: The ground level has no air conditioning, so the air is a bit still and warm. The upper levels have air conditioning, hence it is cooler and more comfortable. Ambience: The displays were set up extreme well, with varied backgrounds to suit the animal skeletons. They include artificial trees, plants, leaves, grass, stones, sea objects, etc. For the marine animals, the display was also bluish to suit the marine theme. However, I felt that the blue light was a bit too dark, i.e. the blue could be lighter and the other corridor areas can use white light so that visitors can take better photos with the displays.

The Monfort Bat Sanctuary, located on Samal Island in Davao City, is home to over 2 million Geoffroys Rousette fruit bats. This sanctuary plays a vital role in pollinating the abundant fruit-growing industry of the region. It holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest single colony of this bat species. Visitors can take tours to witness the spectacular Circadian flight as millions of bats leave the cave at dusk to hunt for food.
Of the many wonderful places in Samal, the Monfort Bat Sanctuary is a must visit. Off the beaten path, the sanctuary has litetally millions of fruit bats from various species. The place really puts the ecosystem in perspective. Besides bats, there are other kinds of animals that you can see wandering in the labrynth of the caves. Super exciting to see. Make sure to bring a nose cover if you are sensitive to animal scents because the draft from the caves carries an amonia-animal fur smell.

Fantastic place to explore for a day excursion from Davao. It is amazing viewing so many bats in one place, although you cannot go directly inside of the caves, however the openings are large enough to view the bats very well. I wished I had a real camera where I could adjust the focus better as the walls of black bats affected my auto focus. Btw, the bat poo really smells so be prepared
Seeing W — Google review
The staff were friendly and it was interesting to see the bats up close. However, the place didn’t feel well maintained, the restrooms could be improved, and a visible signage along the highway would help tourists easily spot it.

I visited this place back in 2016 during one of my trips to Samal Island. It was such an amazing and educational tour with my friend Sir Toto. We came all the way from Negros Occidental with my friends Joseph from San Enrique and Arnel Genova from Pontevedra. We learned so much about bats and their important role in the ecosystem. It’s best to visit before 6 PM so you can witness the bat formation as they fly out of the cave. And guess what — there’s actually a white bat surrounded by black bats!

Davao Chinatown Shopping Center is the main residential area for the Chinese Filipino community in Davao City, covering 44 hectares and spanning four barangays. It's a bustling hub with large shopping malls, hardware stores, restaurants, and retail and wholesale shops. Located just 20 minutes from downtown, it's known as one of the busiest sections in the city. The area boasts distinct Chinese archways and offers a rich cultural experience with its array of businesses selling groceries and goods from China.
My favorite place two visit in Davao, you can find all stuff you want , from cloths to spare parts .
Peaceful W — Google review
Chinatown Davao is a great spot for buying wholesale items across a wide range of products. It’s conveniently located near a park, convenience stores, restaurants, and plenty of street food options. Public transportation is easily accessible, but if you’re driving, be prepared for the hassle, parking is tough to find, and navigating the narrow, busy streets can be tricky with so many pedestrians around. Some road signs really need repainting as they’re barely visible, we even got fined twice because of it. Also, make sure to bring cash since most stores don’t accept card payments.

The Japanese Tunnel in Davao City is a fascinating historical site that offers a glimpse into the past, particularly during World War II. Constructed by Filipino laborers and prisoners of war under the strict supervision of the Japanese army, this intricate network of underground passages was initially designed for military operations. It served as both a hideout and a supply route, highlighting Davao's strategic significance during wartime. As you explore these tunnels today, you'll encounter remnants that tell stories of resilience amidst adversity.
Amazing experience. Spent the whole day here - by the pool, by the bar/restaurant and room. Cost are also reasonable. Staff are nice, and place is safe. Hosted my baby 6th birthday party here it’s very beautiful Value of money 💯

It was a very good experience for my son to see what these historic tunnels look like. Would have been a better experience if they have more pictures in a small museum type setting for tourist to look at. Nonetheless, it was a worthwhile experience.

Entrance fee is ₱70 and already includes a tour guide. The tour is quite short but very educational. Some areas remain closed due to earthquake damage, and helmets are required for safety when entering. The tour guide was amazing! By the way, the place also has a resort.
Fatima H — Google review
We booked a stay mainly because of the swimming pool, so our children could enjoy the last hurrah of their semestral break. However, upon check-in and after making our payment, we were informed that the pool was unavailable since it was booked exclusively for a private event. It was very disappointing, especially since their ads clearly state that swimming pool access is included in the room accommodation. We believe that main amenities like the pool — which are part of the advertised package — should not be made exclusive to anyone, as they are part of what guests pay for. Although the staff apologized and voided our payment when we decided to cancel, it was still a huge disappointment for our children. We hope management will ensure that guests are properly informed ahead of time and that amenities included in the accommodation are made accessible to all paying guests.
Maria G — Google review
Do the tour! The guides are so knowledgeable, sweet and intuitive to take pictures. Being in the tunnel is inspiring to the spirit of the Philippines, you can see the pick marks from the tools. Reading over the rooms and accommodations, I wished we had stayed there. It is a must if you visit Davao!

Spanning seven hectares, this garden is open to the public and provides lush greenery, waterfalls, and streams. As you stroll through the grounds, soothing music plays in the background, enhancing the paradise-like experience. It's an ideal place for spiritual renewal and meditation.
It was a very vast area of well manicured lanscape, so clean and well designed. Plants have names. There are lots of giant Christmas trees and rides for the kids, cheap cafeterias and friendly staff. The 3d show is amazing. The parade was really entertaining. Very great experience and it's very highly recommended.

Located a few hours from Davao City. A place that offers a calm environment with lovely gardening landscape. Good for families, couple, singles that are looking for a calm and relaxing atmosphere. They have several rules regarding clothes and appearance (including dying and styling your hair a certain way, piercing etc) hence check first before coming if you have doubts.

If you want to find a place to feel relaxed this is the place for you! Although, 250 pesos entrance fee without any free food or anything is I think too expensive for me and the fact that this place is an exclusive location away from the city. If you really want to come here you should go here early so that you can enjoy the scenic view and feel relaxed all you want all day long. I gave 4stars only because I think they can offer more or improve more on their way of accommodating visitors. Despite that I still enjoyed taking pictures! Still IG worthy haha😊

Samal Island, also known as the Island Garden City of Samal, is a coastal paradise just a ferry ride away from Davao City. This tropical gem in the heart of Davao Gulf boasts pristine waters, white sand beaches, charming resorts, and fantastic snorkeling and diving spots. The island offers activities like hiking, diving, kayaking, and visiting attractions such as the Monfort Bat Sanctuary and Hagimit Falls.
Adventure Review: Garden City of Samal with Fam! Our family adventure to the Island Garden City of Samal was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the Davao Gulf, this tropical paradise offered a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. From the moment we stepped off the ferry, we were greeted by pristine white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. Highlights of Our Trip: 1.Hagimit Falls: A hidden gem, Hagimit Falls provided a refreshing escape. The kids loved swimming in the cool, cascading waters, while we enjoyed the serene surroundings. 2.Monfort Bat Sanctuary: This unique experience was both educational and awe-inspiring. Home to millions of fruit bats, the sanctuary offered a fascinating glimpse into the lives of these nocturnal creatures. 3.Pearl Farm Beach Resort: A day at this luxurious resort was a treat for the whole family. We indulged in water sports, relaxed on the beach, and savored delicious local cuisine. 4.Vanishing Island: This sandbar, which appears and disappears with the tide, was a highlight for the kids. They had a blast exploring the shallow waters and collecting seashells. 5.Mt. Puting Bato: For a bit of adventure, we hiked to the highest point on the island. The panoramic views from the top were absolutely worth the effort. Samal Island truly offers something for everyone. Whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, this island paradise is the perfect family getaway. We left with unforgettable memories and a promise to return soon. Have you visited Samal before, or is it on your travel bucket list?

It is a beautiful island that deserves more than a day of tour. Aside from the already great experience of island hopping, you can also visit different attractions in the island. Maxima Aquafun’s Slide. This resort sets itself apart with its 40m slide. Mt. Puting Bato. 410 MASL. Reaching the top will provide you with bird’s eye view of the island. Trail takes only about 30-60 minutes to finish. Canibad Beach. A secret paradise on the island. Monfort Bat Cave. Samal Island’s Babak District is home to fruit-eating bats holding a Guiness Book of World Records for the most number of its kind within a colony. Pearl Farm. One of the most famous resorts on the island. Not for those in a tight budget. Kaputian Beach. It's not entirely white, but good enough. It also has some rocks, so keep that in mind in case you're expecting a plain white sand. Wishing Island. Among the destinations for island hopping.

The Malagos Chocolate Museum, the first of its kind in the Philippines, offers an immersive experience for visitors. The museum features interactive installations showcasing the cacao and chocolate-making process. Guests can engage with the Malagos Chocolate mascot, learn about chocolate production, and even create their own chocolates at the Malagos Chocolate Laboratory.
It is a popular and a must-visit attraction within the Malagos Garden Resort. It offers visitors like us a chance to learn about the history of chocolate and how it is made from cacao tree to the final tasty product. The museum provides a comprehensive history of chocolate making by our ancestors from cultivation to production which are shown through informative displays and exhibits. You may also have the chance to experience to make your own chocolate and choose toppings or ingredients such as nuts or marshmallows and more. And of course, you can buy their locally-made chocolates of different flavors and all, and they accept cards! All in all, the experience here is both educational and fun especially if you get to experience it with your love ones. Truly a memorable experience you would love to have with family and friends.

The park around was very lovely. You can feed all kinds of animals and it is relaxing. The museum itself was a little bit of disappointment though. It looked unalive and it felt a miss that there is no guide at the entrance. The chocolate shop was small whith not a lot of variations as I expected. At the end we ate at the restaurant that was very excellent and the food was tasty!
Rachel V — Google review
Visited the resort/museum on the suggestion of a coworker. P850 gets you a day pass, buffet lunch included. I think this is an OK place for the right person. Lots of greenery and open spaces but with paved paths so it's not too outdoorsy. The butterfly museum and chocolate museum had very few visitors and you could feel that it hasn't been maintained as well. I would say they are about average or better than average against similar museums but not "great" enough that you should pay a visit if you're not interested in the subject and it won't make you suddenly interested. The buffet lunch is okay with plenty of selections for the price. I would say that if you are a big eater, the buffet covers most of the entrance fee you pay. There are also a few gift stores but, as someone who really enjoys chocolate but doesn't have a developed palate, the chocolate is not really better than comparable (imported) chocolates at the same or lower price point.
Jet K — Google review
I recommend you go to the museum for the chocolate-making activity. This is the perfect pasalubong as you create the box of chocolates yourself. You can choose from a limited selection of filling and toppings, as well as the shape of your chocolates. Malagos has always been my favorite choice when it comes to making hot chocolate because of how purely indulgent the end result is when cooked right. Their ready-to-eat chocolate bars are rich and bitter, but their tablea is absolutely divine as an ingredient.
Rose I — Google review
If you're coming to see the chocolate museum then don't expect to be able to swing by for a quick visit. The road is blocked to get to the museum and you must enter through the Malagos Resort. You can find the resorts location on Google maps. You have to park across the street from the resort. The entrance fee includes a meal at the restaurant. It's frustrating to figure all of this out on your own so like this post so others can see it. Once you do figure out how to enter then you are free to explore a charming, classy and well maintained resort with friendly staff. There's a lot to see so reserve an hour or two for a small meal and adequate time to explore. There's more than just a museum here. Resort manager: Please consider removing the truck that blocks the road to the museum so that people have a place to turn around. Also please add a sign that says "Enter museum through Malagos Resort. Parking across the street." Google maps delivers people to the back of your truck and the truck stops us in the street creating traffic issues and stress. It's unnecessarily frustrating and a real shame to start a great experience off with a bad taste in your mouth. My path was to stop behind the truck and block traffic while trying to figure out what's going on. Drive up the street to ask a person at the sari sari store how to get to the museum. Turn around. Drive by the truck again. Turn around to find that there's a guy in the truck. Ask the guy in the truck who says to turn around and go to the resort. Then I went to the resort. Then was told to park across the street.

The Malagos Chocolate Museum in Davao offers a fascinating and educational journey into the world of chocolate, making it a must-visit destination for chocolate lovers and curious travelers alike. Our experience began with the comprehensive "tree to bar" tour, which meticulously illustrated the entire process of chocolate making—from the initial stages of cacao cultivation right through to the final stages of processing. This tour was not only informative but also engaging, providing a deep dive into the art and science behind chocolate production. The museum segment of our visit enriched our understanding further, detailing the rich history of chocolate cultivation in Davao. This part of the museum was well-curated, filled with insightful exhibits that highlighted the local significance of chocolate making, both culturally and economically. A highlight of the visit was the opportunity to taste several varieties of dark chocolate. Each sample was distinct, showcasing the unique flavors and textures developed through Malagos Chocolate's meticulous process. The tasting was a delightful sensory experience that allowed us to appreciate the nuances of fine chocolate. While the gift shop offered a nice variety of chocolates, it was unfortunate that they were out of stock of the Tablea chocolates during our visit. Despite this minor setback, the shop was still a great spot to pick up some tasty souvenirs. We concluded our visit at the museum's dining area, where the food was pleasingly good, complementing the overall experience. Overall, the Malagos Chocolate Museum provides a thorough and enjoyable exploration of chocolate, backed by engaging tours, educational content, and delicious tastings. It's a well-rounded attraction that offers both insight and indulgence, making it well worth a visit.

People's Park, situated in the heart of Davao City, Philippines, is a popular attraction known for its serene and well-maintained environment. The park boasts lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and a carefully tended landscape that enhances its appeal. Davao Peoples Park opened last December 2007. Setting aside the controversy, it really is a good park that the people of Davao and its visitors can enjoy. It's free for all, big, clean and green. The facade is adorned with decors of Waling-Waling - the big and beautiful orchid that was once indigenous to the Philippines. If the Land of Oz has the yellow brick road, the city of Davao has the rainbow brick road. Count the colors, they are all there. The Royal Mandaya Hotel is in the background. If Singapore has a Durian dome (the Esplanade), so does Davao - a smaller, wire-mesh version inside the park. Some works of Kublai Millan in Davao People's Park. He also has works displayed in Over View Nature and Culture Park and Davao International Airport. There is a giant Eagle that reminds me of the statue of a monkey-eating eagle that I used to see when I was a kid when we were along EDSA or South Superhighway going into Makati (let me call it Makati Eagle Rotonda). Vendor's are not allowed in the park and littering is strictly prohibited so all you see are groups of friends, families, students and happy kids running around. The park's 10 meter tall man made water falls was under maintenance so let me just share my pic of the park's stretch of wall with water gently running down to a self-contained pond. I love taking portrait shots of running water at twilight. I hope they keep the park well maintained for generations to enjoy.

The resort offers amenities such as swimming pools, fish ponds, Skyrider, Skycycle, and Skyswing.
Took my brother for the first time in Eden! The workers who helped us on the rides were so nice and funny! My brother was so nervous but they made him feel comfortable with their kindness and humour. Will definitely come back when we're back in Davao next year. Always nice to visit. :)

This resort is a complete disappointment. The pictures of the rooms advertised in AGODA are NOT what you’ll get. Instead, you’re given a room that feels more like a stockroom with beds thrown in. It’s so far apart from what’s shown online, and you’re forced to pay extra to get the room posted and pay double the price. Since the resort is incredibly remote (30 km from the city), you’re left with no other options. To make matters worse, there’s no proper menu for dinner a la carte, leaving you guessing about what’s available. The staff themselves admitted that the photos posted online are misleading and erroneous, but that doesn’t excuse such deceptive practices. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a resort. Stay away unless you’re ready for frustration and regret.

Staff was not willing to help us get a taxi or a way back to Davao .They want to have a taxi come all the way from Davao so that we could go back to Davao and pay double. Finally called for a local closed cab that was only 5 minutes away from the park .We waited for almost 2 hours before they called for a local closed cab . I gave the staff a 1

Shopping mall
Abreeza Mall by Ayala Malls is a popular retail destination in Davao City, offering a wide range of products from athletic shoes and apparel to backpacks and accessories. It's known for being less crowded, clean, and home to designer items on sale. The mall is one of the largest in the city with easily available taxi cabs. Visitors can also find study places nearby such as CBTL Gaisano Mall and Abreeza.
From the outside, Abreeza Mall doesnt look that big of mall... But when you step inside, you'll be surprised to see how huge it is and how diversed & many the stores are. I also like that each floors are organized in a way that makes it easier to find what you're looking for.. Ex, at level 1 it's mostly rtw, cosmetics, restos & grocery. Level 2 is mostly footwears, sports/outdoor gears & some restos... You can check out the full footage of our visit to Abreeza on YT @BaklayVibes

This is one of the biggest shopping malls in Davao where you can find numerous options to satisfy your needs; from everyday grocery to brand items, it is available here.
Reza N — Google review
Really great mall. Its a fresh experience for me from the usuals, like Robinsons and SM.
Wunder J — Google review
One of the biggest malls in Davao City. After our convention, I tried visiting the mall to check it out. It has a good interior, and has a big activity center that can cater major events. It's typically the usual interiors for most AYALA Malls. It has clean comfort rooms. Its a good option to enjoy strolling while shopping or dining out with family, friends and loves ones.
Robin C — Google review
Unlike most Ayala Malls, it is easy to find your way around here. Not many seats though if you are walking around and suddenly get tired. Good dining options and many cinemas. I just wish the food court was airconditioned and not in an open area as that would be not ideal if there is a storm or if it is humid. Very pet-friendly
Trixie D — Google review
Great mall, high end shops as well as regular stores, clean, large, great variety, plenty of personal care services. My only issue with this mall is the same as most others in this great city, parking is difficult to find and seems nearly full even in the morning when it opens. Perhaps many of the employees park there for work so unless I'm going early in the day, I no longer go to this mall.

Its a amazing mall to go to it has many different options to choose from in all aspects like fun, food, clothing and etc the place is clean and tidy the supermarket is well handled it is well prepared in case of emergency and has plenty parking its family - friendly and child - friendly accessible to all and keeps upgrading overall deserves the 5 stars keep it up Ayala Malls :)

Nestled in the heart of Davao City, Bankerohan Public Market stands as a vibrant testament to local culture and commerce. Open daily from early morning until evening, it attracts both locals and visitors alike who come to experience the authentic lifestyle of Davaoeños.
Great place for getting produce, meat, eggs, etc and also grab a bite to eat. It can get crowded so go early if you can. We come every week and never had any issues. If you are a foreigner this is a must see. Unique and interesting!
JayBee — Google review
One of the busiest markets I’ve been to. Super raw and local. You’ll see everything here, from fresh fruits and veggies to dried fish and cheap clothes. The durian section is wild. Smells intense but kinda fun if you’re up for it. Great place to just walk around and soak in the vibe. Wear comfy shoes and expect a bit of chaos.

Wunder J — Google review
Nice market, lots of food to choose from. People were friendly but it's a little chaotic I'm getting around and how is laid out. I mean it's what you expect from an old public market
Michael N — Google review
Great place for getting vegetables and fruits. The prices for vegetables and fruits here are fantastic, especially vegetables. There is also lots of street food around the corner. Public transport from here is straightforward as this is a popular hub. That said, it does get very, very crowded and getting public transport here can be a bit of a challenge, especially in the evening (the wait can be quite long). Better to avoid this place in the evening, as the rush hour traffic can be a bit nuts. All in all though, this is a great public market, and the best place in the area for vegetables.
M — Google review
This is the place to be in Davao City when you talk about pasalubong. Different fruits and fruit products are here. From the famous Davao durian, mangosteen, pomelo and candied fruits, you will definitely go crazy in choosing what to buy. The place is very accessible by the common transportation in the city. The store owners and their staff are very welcoming and friendly. They will also offer free taste for you to take. And when you buy their goods, you can still haggle and some would also offer additional free goods.

It's a different feeling being able to successfully climb the Philippines' highest peak. I would definitely come back soon, and try a different trail 😁

I was there 2 years ago. It was a great experience and I'm proud of myself that I was able to carry 15kg to the top of Mt. Apo with only a month's inconsistent jogging pattern as preparation. Pro tip: If your water runs out 1km before the peak, just look for wild berries to quench your thirst. We were not given a good weather that time so we only had few picture at the peak of Mt. Apo.

We drove a very long time from Davao! However the Energy Development Corp. has the road blocked off a ways before you arrive! Quite disappointing! Apparently it's a 3 to 4 day excursion with a guide, camping etc. Maybe there is another way, but I don't think so!

The road - as a whole - towards Philippine's tallest mountain is one of my top experiences in SE Asia so far! Mount Apo, with its boulders, tropical forest, sulfuric areas and amazing views towards Davao Gulf is truly a distinctive mountain. I couldn't done this without being backed by Liz from Dauntless Outdoors, a special person who knows how things works in mountaineering field. On top of her knowledge, having a great team of porters and not last an awesome guide (Nairo Nitro Quimada) , it's the best you can get for a three days adventure on the heights of Mindanao Island. Mount Apo is a real deal!!!

The best hiking experience you can have. Place is cold just like her replies. Overall, a challenging hike but worth the view/peak/experience. Recommended to those who wants to try hiking.
Jevie — Google review
The only mountain that captured my heart. Its majestic views and natural forest serve as the home of faunas. The colorful floras, from its smallest organism to the centennial trees. The terrains and trails serve as paths to the peaks and summit. The springs, rivers, falls, and lakes ease our thirstiness on our way. These are the waters not only for the hiker/climber but it serve as a life-giver for all creatures above the summit to the deepest point of the oceans. I hope someday I can be there again. Watching my footprints in the shallow lakes. Taking pictures where my memories save those precious time. Exploring my fatherland is like searching for a piece of myself. Every climb I take is a step to rethink what my ancestors lived back in those days. That story my father and grandfather tell me. To my dear climber: Let us help maintain the cleanliness and preserve our natural gem in our land. Not only in our place but also in every corner of our world.

Its powdery white sand beaches and clear blue waters teem with diverse marine life, making it an ideal spot for underwater adventures. Despite its lack of luxury accommodations, the island offers a remote paradise experience that attracts travelers seeking a castaway-like getaway.
Magnificent!...and more than that. Small Island but really beautiful all around. You can't help but admire the beauty of the aged trees, palms, tropical plants, vibrant colourful flowers, white sand beaches and blue and turquoise sea water. An island worth visiting every now and then. Very welcoming residents, courteous neighbourhood and just happy people all around. Fishes are sold in a very cheap price, fresh catch every now and then.

What an amazing place!! If your expecting 5* hotels and luxury service stay away. This is an island for people willing to travel for that remote, Castaway paradise. Travel from the pier won't be comfortable, it's on the back of a van with wooden benches. But I promise it will be well worth the sore bum! After 30 minutes on concrete roads, muddy coarse ways and through tree lined gravel paths, we arrived at what can only be described as paradise. On the banks of the crystal clear Philippines Sea, surrounded by trees and engulfed in the sounds of chirping birds and singing lizards, sits this traditional Philipino bamboo house. Amazing, time just relaxing, swimming and hiding away from the outside world. Awesome!!

Talikud Island is a small island which has 4 barangays. Those are Santa Cruz, Cogon, Linosutan, and Dadatan. You can tour the Island with a Tricycle (AKA Sikad for the locals) or a Motor (AKA Habal-Habal for the locals) for less than half a thousand peso. The roads are not yet developed, as seen in the pictures, but that's what makes it feel like a place of adventure, people could hike or trek the rocky roads and then camp during the night (just make sure to ask the land owners if you could stay at their land since most of them reside near the rocky roads). The place of commerce is located at Santa Cruz since that is where the port is. You will be able to find heaps of goodies that you would normally be able to find in a convenience store. That is also where Beach Resorts like Isla Reta and Leticia by the Sea are. If you would look for a hardware, sadly it ain't located near where the commerce is. It is up above Santa Cruz, or if I remember it right, it is located near Cogon or Dadatan.

Churches & Cathedrals
San Pedro Metropolitan Cathedral, located in Davao City, is a modernist Catholic basilica with a distinctive curved concrete facade and an ornate altar. It is considered the longest-standing church in Davao and holds historical significance as a landmark. The original building dates back to 1847 and has undergone several reconstructions, culminating in its current Spanish-style architecture designed by architect Manuel Chiew in 1964.
It is probably the most famous church in Davao. It is the ecclesiastical seat of the Archdiocese of Davao. This cathedral has a lot of history. The first version of this cathedral was bombed and had a Neo-Gothic architecture. The church is very big with a unique architecture made from concrete. The interior is a big contrast from the outside with it being modern with a large and extremely beautiful altar. The mass I attended was good being presided by the auxillary Bishop of Davao. The San Pedro Cathedral was probably one of the biggest highlights for me visiting Davao. Note that there is pretty much no parking for the church.

This is the seat of the Bishop of the Diocese of Davao City. A place of worship for most Catholics. It has a separate adoration chapel, a belfry and a separate office. Saint Peter's Metropolitan Cathedral, also known as San Pedro Cathedral or Davao Cathedral, is the ecclesiastical seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Davao. An earlier church, said to be in the Neo-Gothic style, was built on the same site as the current cathedral in 1847. In the 1960s, due to its small size, the Diocese of Davao sought funds to enlarge the church to resemble an ark, hence the pointed front with a cross. A separate bell tower was also built. The cathedral has witnessed two bombing incidents: an incident in 1981 that killed 17 people, and one in 1993 that killed seven people.

Kaputian Beach is one of Samal’s most beloved spots — a place where simplicity meets natural beauty. 💙 The beach has powdery white sand, clear blue waters, and a calm, relaxing vibe that’s perfect for families, barkadas, or even solo travelers looking for peace and quiet. 🌴 It’s well-maintained and affordable, making it one of the best budget-friendly getaways in the island. 🌞 You can enjoy swimming, picnicking under the trees, or just lounging by the shore while taking in the fresh sea breeze. 🍃 What makes Kaputian Beach special is its laid-back and local charm — it’s not overly commercialized, so you really get to experience the simple joys of the beach. 🐚 Truly, Kaputian Beach is a must-visit in Samal if you want a mix of relaxation, natural beauty, and that authentic island feel. 🌟

Great white sand beach for a Public Beach. This is a great place to enjoy white sand beach for less. Clear and clean beach water . Cottages and Tables are available for less. We had a great time swimming. Day Tour entrance for only 50pesos and overnight at 100pesos.

I like how they encourage people to keep the beach clean and ban the usage of single use plastic. Nice and clean public beach. Good for family picnic.

Sights & Landmarks
Bemwa Farm, located in Marilog District, Davao City, is a popular summer destination offering stunning greenery views and a unique tropical cool climate. Visitors can enjoy activities such as strawberry picking and exploring picturesque sunflower fields and herb gardens. The farm has recently started allowing children to visit, making it a great family-friendly spot. Additionally, visitors can indulge in delicious treats like strawberry ice cream and the newly introduced fried ice cream, which is actually shaved ice cream.
A must go for every herb-lover! We found here our first stable Basil, thyme, Dill (!!!!) and maybe one dozen or something like this more plants for our garden in a very good quality, all of them are growing and propagating in our own garden. You have also a small snack-bar, horse back riding... but for us the selling of farm herbs are the most thrilling feature.

It wasn’t originally part of our plan to stop here, as we were headed to our accommodation, but the place looked interesting, so we decided to check it out. And indeed, it was! We didn’t actually eat at the restaurant, but the food being served looked and smelled great. There are also quite a few activities available, and what interested me the most was the 'pick-your-own-vegetable' experience, though I didn’t get a chance to try it. Overall, it was a good visit, but next time, I’d go a bit earlier to enjoy the cooler temperatures, just the way I like it.
Aryan A — Google review
Our visit to Bemwa Farm was a great family experience. The kids especially had a blast riding the horse and spending time at the playground—plenty of open space for them to enjoy. The place itself is very relaxing, with a cool climate and scenic farm views. It’s a great spot to unwind and appreciate the fresh air and greenery. The food was decent, though service was a bit slow—likely because we came during a busy time. Still, the staff was polite and accommodating. Overall, Bemwa Farm is a charming destination for families looking for a peaceful escape with nature, fun activities, and a bit of farm life. Will we be back? Yes, especially for the kids.
Chad M — Google review
This farm is a great place to visit if you're looking for a peaceful and nature-filled experience. The entrance fee is just P50, and what’s nice is that it’s consumable (you can use it to get a snack, a drink, or even try the horse ride, which is also worth P50). The area itself is wide and relaxing, filled with gardens, farm plants, and all kinds of beautiful flowers and greenery. The atmosphere is cold and refreshing, which makes it comfortable to walk around without breaking a sweat. They also sell snacks and freshly harvested vegetables straight from the farm, and there's a small canteen where you can try native food and drinks. I highly recommend their brewed native coffee (also worth P50 and a good use for your entrance ticket). It’s simple but very satisfying. What makes the place really worth it is the overall experience. The scenic views, the fresh breeze, and the relaxing farm vibe make it perfect for families, especially if you're bringing kids. The entrance fee is really nice, but what you get in return (good food, nice views, and fun activities)is more than worth the price. I had a really great time here and I hope they continue improving because they’re already doing a great job.
George M — Google review
Been here multiple times, first with a tour, then the following just to buy their fresh strawberry jam because wow, it’s the best I’ve ever had. You can really taste the sourness of real strawberries, unlike the overly sweet, processed ones from grocery stores. It can spoil quicker, but it’s worth every bite. I honestly can’t get enough of it. The farm itself is quite humid (weirdly, since most of Buda is cool). They have horses you can ride to explore, but not much else to do. There’s plenty of parking and the entrance fee is cheap (I forgot how much). Oh, and they don’t accept cards, only GCash and cash. I’d still go back just for the jam!

The place is lovely. It is a farm. You can also have hot choco and taho. This place is a quick stop for tourists.

Ang aesthetic ng place — from the gardens to the café — super IG-worthy! Whether you're here for chill time, konting food trip, or just a peaceful breather, swak na swak siya for a day getaway.

Nestled in Baguio District, the Bamboo Sanctuary and Ecological Park offers a serene escape within the city. Originally a rest house for the De Veyra family, it has been transformed into a park that not only provides sanctuary but also educates visitors about bamboo. The friendly staff and hands-on owners ensure guests' comfort and safety. The park offers various activities such as kayaking, archery, and a unique fish spa experience.
We went there yesterday and had such a great experience! The staff were very accommodating, respectful, polite, and always willing to help. The whole place was very clean, including the comfort rooms, it smelled fresh and were well maintained. The staff who cleaned the pool, assisted us with kayaking, and prepared our snacks and meals were all so nice and respectful. It was a calm, rainy day, the perfect time to unwind and this place gave us 100% satisfaction. The food was not only affordable but also tasted really good! I’m truly grateful that I got to visit this place with my friend before she goes back to Thailand. I’ll definitely be bringing my family here soon.

I booked and fully paid for a Jacuzzi room in advance, but when we arrived, we were told it had already been given to someone else. Instead, they offered us a regular room with a partial refund. I mean, what choice did we have? The resort is in the middle of the forest with no other hotels nearby. If they had notified us before check-in day, we could’ve taken a full refund or even adjusted our check-in date and moved on. Instead, they waited until we arrived, left us stuck with whatever room was left, and still made money off us. If I could give this place zero stars, I ABSOLUTELY would. And to whoever handles your social media: you only manage one resort with fewer than 100 units, yet you still mess up guest bookings. Makes me wonder how you got the job.
Herbert P — Google review
Need more road improvement going in and out. Nice scenery but alot of place is not well maintained already. Food buffet is just okay not much chooses and the bbq is not cooked done. The restaurant is quite slippery after some guest from swimming pool going to eat in the restaurant. But over all friendly staff and very accommodating. Maybe next time I will stay one of their room
Filipina L — Google review
I celebrated my birthday at Bamboo Sanctuary with my husband. We specifically booked a room for its jacuzzi, but it was not working when we arrived. We had to get the staff’s attention, and thankfully the manager acted quickly and sent someone to repair it. For the free breakfast, they asked us in advance what meal we wanted, but it was served cold as if it was prepared too early. We also came on time according to the specified serving schedule, so that was a bit disappointing. Sometimes there was no one in the kitchen to attend to guests right away. On the bright side, the pool was nice and I really enjoyed swimming. However, some areas were not well maintained, especially the room we stayed in. The couch was dirty and could use a proper cleaning. Overall, it was a mixed experience. The place has potential but maintenance and service consistency need improvement.
Donna G — Google review
We recently stayed overnight at this resort yesterday and overall, it was such a refreshing experience. The highlight for me was definitely the pool. The water was cool and flowing, which made it feel super fresh and clean. I could’ve stayed there all day lol it’s the perfect place to unwind with your fam or barkadas. We booked the dormitory-type rooms and they were actually really nice, clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The location of the rooms has its pros and cons. On the plus side, it’s conveniently close to the pool and food hall, which makes everything easily accessible. However, the downside is the noise from the upper floor. You can clearly hear footsteps and chairs being dragged around, especially when the function hall above is being used. So if someone happens to have an event up there, expect it to get quite noisy and a bit annoying at times. The staff deserves a big thumbs-up tho. Everyone we met was polite, friendly and really accommodating, they made the stay feel welcoming and easy. Parking, on the other hand, could use a little improvement. The parking area is quite small and if you’re bringing an SUV, you’ll definitely need some patience maneuvering around the limited space. They also offer fun outdoor activities like archery, kayaking and a rope course, which sound really exciting! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try them this time, but that just gives me a good reason to come back. Definitely something I’d like to experience on my next visit. Now for the part I was REAALLY disappointed with, the FOOD. We opt for the buffet-style, but there weren’t many options, and honestly, the taste wasn’t great. For such a nice place, I was hoping for better flavors and more variety. I really hope they work on improving the food because it’s such an important part of the whole resort experience. Lastly, a quick heads up data signal is really poor to almost none, which makes sense since the resort is tucked right in the middle of a forest. They do have Starlink wifi, but it’s limited to a few users at a time. Still, it’s a nice chance to disconnect and enjoy nature. All in all, it’s a beautiful resort with amazing pools, kind staff and great potential, it just needs a few tweaks with the food, noise control and parking space. I’d still love to come back, especially to finally try all the outdoor activities next time.
Alarise B — Google review
Place looks great but some areas were no longer properly maintained. The parking area is very small and difficult to manoeuvre jf you have a bigger SUV. One good thing observable is that the Hotel attendants and service crews are very polite and accommodating

Really great service! Everyone we walked past would always greet us with a smile. This time, we stayed in their new two-bedroom villa, and it was super convenient that you could have the option to have food delivered straight to the room(free of charge!!!). The villa also had its own private pool. The pool’s about 1.5 meters deep, so it’s great for a nice swim. They also have one of the best beaches in Davao/Samal. Not a lot of corals and very clean!! Initially, there wasn’t enough hot water, we complained but they managed to fix it right away, so that’s okay.

This place is absolutely amazing – peaceful, quiet, and full of love. It’s our second time here; the first was years ago when my wife and I were still dating, and now we came back with our 3 kids. It feels so special to see our children truly happy and enjoying every moment. We also had visitors from Manila and Malaysia, with their families and co-workers, and they were just as happy and satisfied. The experience brought so much joy to everyone. The service is beyond excellent – not just 100% but 200% quality service! The staff are kind, attentive, and thoughtful, making sure everything is perfect. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and full of gratitude. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had as a family. Thank you so much to the owners and team for making our stay unforgettable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We will surely be back again soon!

Absolutely breathtaking experience! Pearl Farm Beach Resort is truly one of Davao’s gems. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. The entire place is spotless, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — every corner feels like paradise. The beach is crystal clear, the food is exceptional, and the rooms are elegant and comfortable. Special mention to the staff who were always smiling and ready to assist — their service really sets this resort apart. Whether you’re here to relax, reconnect with nature, or celebrate something special, Pearl Farm delivers perfection. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

The place was our special couple get away which was 45 minutes away from the mainland of Davao City. Their employees were very friendly, attentive and accomodating which made our stay very memorable. Once you go there you will only worry on what to eat from their buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Including sunset cocktails /snacks). They have everything there like a caffè, bar, souvenir store, spa and a hotel nurse.

Pearl Farm Resort is truly an amazing bit of heaven! The staff were over the top kind, friendly, and always ready to help. Their warm smiles and excellent service made us feel so welcome and cared for. The villas were beautiful, clean, cozy, and full of that local island touch. Everything blended perfectly with nature, from the wooden furniture to the peaceful view of the sea. The clear water, quiet surroundings, and sense of privacy made it such a perfect place to relax and spend time with family. The food, absolutely sumptuous and satisfying every time! Each meal was a treat, full of flavor and freshness, making every dining experience something to look forward to. Thanks Pearl Farm! Such a memorable and heartwarming experience. We’ll surely be back!

My family and I visited here back in 2022 and we absolutely had an amazing time (apologies for the late review but decided I still needed to write a review for them cause they deserve all the praises)! The resort was beautiful, it had clean and comfortable rooms with great views. If you’re looking for a place to relax and have peace and quiet, this is it! Food was very delicious and variety on the choices were provided every day. But personally, I think what really sets this resort apart from others is their amazing, commendable service. Every member of their staff was so kind and accommodating! They had initiative, and when we had requests, they responded to all very well. We were all spoiled by them! If I were to nitpick, it’s just their beach isn’t as beautiful as the other beaches in the Philippines, but our family didn’t mind! We have been recommending this place to a lot of our family and friends, and we look forward to coming back soon! Thank you again, Pearl Farm!

Gap Farm is definitely worth a visit. The vast expanse of land and greenery offers a perfect setting for a refreshing walk to stay fit. The property is dotted with numerous fruit trees, adding to its natural charm. The swimming pool is well-maintained and very clean, making for a pleasant experience. Wide open spaces. Good for reunion. 100 entrance fee per person, 100 entrance for the pool not included the benches and cottoge, 10pesos for the Cave, so far it is not the same 18 years ago. It's perfect for bonding time with friends, families, classmates, acquaintances. However when we visit last year the pool had lots of leaves falling from the trees. Sasa Wharf, situated in Davao City, Philippines, is a bustling seaport that serves as a vital hub for trade and tourism in the region. It offers a vibrant atmosphere and various activities for tourists to enjoy. The wharf is the main departure point for ferry boats traveling between Davao and Samal Island, making it the only port where visitors can take their vehicles across.
100 pesos for motorbike + 20 pesos for angkas. Overall we paid 120 for a boat ride to samal island. Just a bit of a wait for the boat and it’s kinda hot but there is a shade and waiting area for riders. You ride on ur bike to the boat and just stand beside ur bike throughout the ride. it’s only a 10-15min boat ride :)
Gabby M — Google review
Going to the port was difficult in ways that it had heavy traffic on top of officers trying to limit the lanes consumed by cars since there was an issue not so far from this port. On top of the scorching sun, this was a very stressful experience to see. We got lost a few times before arriving at our destination.. Plus we had to wait in line for an Hour and a Half.

Very long line in getting your ticket. Ticket price is approximately 20 pesos per person. You can bring your vehicle in crossing the Samal Island and as expected the line is very very long. I recommned if you bring your vehicle to be early. There is no fix time of the departures and arrivals of the barge going to Samal Island, the boat will depart when it is already full

Nestled off the coast of Tambo in Babak, Vanishing Island is a captivating shoal that transforms with the tides. During low tide, this narrow strip of fine white sand emerges, creating an illusion of floating cottages amidst the sea. Visitors can enjoy its crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life, making it a fantastic spot for snorkeling among coral reefs. The island's natural beauty remains largely untouched, allowing you to encounter starfish and sea urchins while basking in tranquility.
Trust me, this place is absolutely perfect for Instagramers or instagramer Friends. 😆 if you’re staying or living in Davao, don’t miss this place. Vanishing island is a great attraction for tourists and locals. Its located off the west coast of Samal Island in the Philippines. It's very neat and clean. Very clear water, white sand. You can see many of small sea creatures like star fish, sea shells etc. It's known as vanishing island because it is exposed at low tide but is submersed at high tide. There are total seven vanishing islands in the Philippines. In early times, seamen were confused by this phenomenon and invented explanations for it, usually involving a massive sea monster that would let a crew land on its back before submersing itself, drowning the crew.

Amusement center
The Davao Upside Down House Museum opened in December 2018 and requires visitors to wear socks, which can be purchased if needed. Upon arrival, a guide will lead your group through the museum, directing poses and taking photos. The experience may seem confusing at first, but the resulting pictures are fun and impressive. It's recommended for both kids and adults who are young at heart.
Visiting Upside Down is an exciting and creative experience that turns the ordinary into something extraordinary. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a meticulously designed house where everything—from furniture to decorations—is flipped on its head. Each room offers a unique and playful setup, making it a photographer's dream and a perfect place for family fun or a quirky day out with friends. The key highlight is the interactive nature of the attraction. Visitors are encouraged to pose in creative ways, turning the seemingly normal settings into mind-bending, gravity-defying illusions when captured on camera. Whether you're pretending to walk on the ceiling or holding onto furniture that appears to float, every shot feels like a masterpiece. The staff is friendly and often assist with photo ideas, ensuring you get the best angles for your upside-down adventure. The attention to detail in the decor is impressive, adding to the realism of the photos. It’s a great spot for those who enjoy fun and Instagram-worthy moments. Just bring your imagination, a fully charged phone or camera, and be ready to have a good laugh as you defy gravity in the most delightful way. Definitely worth a visit for both kids and the young-at-heart!

A once in a lifetime experience for the kids, a perfect treat to them. If you want to get amazed and be surprise then bring all your family here and have fun. Truly an amazing genius art. The museum assistants really did their best to make you comfortable and satisfied. Try it now, located beside the NCCC Mall (formerly Victoria Plaza) Bajada Davao City

Five rooms to have several upside down photos. Staff will provide pose instructions, take photos, even crop and edit. Visit also includes free pair of socks. It has a gift shop for souvenirs and snacks. Cabinet slots for safekeeping while inside the photo areas. Good for family and friends.

Upside Down House Davao is a fun and quirky place to visit. The rooms are creatively designed and perfect for cool, Instagram-worthy photos. Staff are friendly and helpful too. A must-visit if you’re in Davao!

A unique museum where everything is upside down, perfect for couple or group photo shoots. I loved the accommodating and friendly staff who helped us come up with ideas. For a 350 pesos entrance fee, it's definitely worth it for making memorable moments with free socks 😆 "You turn my world upside down" 😆

It was our last day (Sep17-2 days ago) tour stop before we head to the Airport and we had fun. PROS * Guided tour so you know how to pose * An hour of posing, stretching, bending, laughing and having fun * Entrance fee of 375 comes with a free white socks. Senior discount and kids rate applicable. CONS * NOT all the staff are friendly the one who was assigned to us... 1. Greeted us without smile and did not even introduce yourself LOL 2. Asked for our stabs and put it on us while 2 of our pax went to the restroom. Her reaction seems irritated when we told her they're at the rest room. 3. We ask her a question while waiting for them and she just walked away. Benefit of the doubt, maybe she didn't hear us. 4. While we hear the other guides being friendly with the group they're guiding, she on the other hand instruct us monotonously and irritated if poses aren't done correctly. - ALL she say is look here, look up, look here again, OK, next. 5. She did laugh and smile once or twice but she's on a rush to end the activity. GOSH ATE GURL, you may want to consider working back end since you don't seem to like socializing or just an advise, IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE MOOD TO WORK - take a break and breathe. The place is worth the visit, so include it when visiting Davao. I just hope you get treated well and good so it won't mess the fun vibes the place can give. This was my first hike, too bad we did not decide to stay overnight. The water is very clear and you can drink it too! It took us 5 hours hike to get there.

Sicao falls is one of the attraction here in calinan. You must have a local tour guide because you need to take a hike. You can enjoy the majestic falls and river. You can stay here and do the camping. When it is rainy season the trail is quiet slippery and muddy so do extra careful.
