The Archaeological Museum of Olympia is a significant museum in Greece that showcases the rich history of the sanctuary of Zeus, where the ancient Olympic games originated. The museum's permanent exhibition features artifacts from excavations in the sacred precinct of Altis, spanning from prehistoric eras to the Early Christian period. Notable collections include sculptures, bronzes, and terracottas, making it renowned for its diverse and valuable exhibits.
Wonderful way to understand the background around the ancient city of Olympia, the home of the Olympic Games. We loved the simple explanations written in several different languages. Going to the museum allow us to get so much more out of our visit to the archaeological site and the rest of Olympia

Visited during the weekday; lots of buses with tourists from cruises. I recommend coming after 12pm as the groups left and also as it gets hotter outside you get a cool room to walk. The displays are typically well presented and annotated with brief useful descriptions.
Dominik D — Google review
Great collection, wonderfully displayed, excellent facilities. One can only begin to imagine the sheer volume of wealth, artifacts and other objects of artistic and material value that used to be here, the penultimate location of reverence in all the ancient Greek world. All the way through the Archaic, the Classical and the Hellenistic Period, which add up to more than half a millenia, the Hellenes accumulated offerings to Zeus, Hera and many other Gods in this holiest of locations. Even after eons of plundering, this site has offered us all these magnificent exhibits. Enjoy them!
George S — Google review
Definitely worth a visit. We stayed at villa kriton so if you are still looking for a place I can recommend that. Free if you are under 25 and EU member. We didn’t buy the tickets before hand and just bought them at the museum. We recommend going a little later 5pm was perfect for us almost now people at the sight and the temperature was fine.
Lenja D — Google review
One of the most historically significant places in the world. If your into mythology or the Olympics or maybe just a history buff this is the place for you. Together with the site of old Olympia this stop is simply amazing. Much more still exists than I ever imagined after almost 3000 years. Highly recommended.
Jason G — Google review
Part of archaeological site of olympia beautiful place. Shame a lot have been looted years ago. Would have been great if there was an audio devices to explain as its very difficult to get near some and read the information when someone parked in front of the object. I found more QR codes would have been useful to read it latter. Worth visit even if a lot of objects have been looted over the years of excavations. French, German archaeologist.
Vicky — Google review
Learned a great amount of history about the origin of the Olympics. Had a tour guide and highly recommend using one or all you will be seeing are a bunch of ruins. The stories behind the ruins are needed. Also, was treated to a Greek lunch and entertaing dancing.
George M — Google review
It’s a very beautiful modern building. The moment you enter you can tell that the exhibition is well organised. It’s a lot to look at but occasionally there are paragraphs on the wall about the time the artefacts are from. The translations are in Greek, English and German. It’s very educational and if you‘re visiting the archeological site the museum is a must! For example: The Nike statue. It stood in front of the Zeus temple and is now a part of the museum. It definitely is worth the experience and even if you‘re not a fan of history there’s just generally a lot to look at and it’s quite beautiful. I would recommend going at around 11 am because later in the day there‘ll be more visitors but I couldn’t complain.

The Temple of Hera, an ancient structure in Olympia, Greece, is a significant site where the torch for the Olympic flame is ignited. Situated within the Altis enclosure, it stands alongside other important edifices such as the Temple of Zeus and various sanctuaries. The temple's Doric-style architecture pays homage to Hera, a prominent figure in Greek mythology. This revered location also features structures used by priests and administrative buildings.
In 600 BC the Temple of Hera, goddess of fertility, became the first monumental Doric temple constructed at ancient Olympia, Greece. Since 1936 the Olympic torch has been lit on Hera's Altar in front of the temple.

The archeological site is a must see. The downside is that there are no audio guide so you will have to read the signs and imagine the rest. I recommend getting a guide if you are interested in learning history.
Daiana L — Google review
Part of the overall Complex/site. If you already paid the admission fee for sure you should go there. But the temple itself is just a ruin. So except for the fact that this is the place where the Olympic flame is lit it’s not super spectacular.

Olimpia (Ολυμπία) is the most famous place of Zeus worship in ancient Greece. At the foot of the hill, Panhellian Olympics dedicated to Zeus, called from this site Olympic, took place every 4 years. The first recorded Olympic Games took place in 776 BC. From the seventh century BC huge buildings were built here. The most important of them, Temple of Zeus was completed in about 456 BC. In addition, there were a number of other buildings, including the temple of Hera. Sports facilities were created around the sanctuary, including Olympic stadium. On the ruins of the ancient temple of Hera is lit the Olympic torch before every modern Olympic games. - Olimpia (gr. Wokół sanktuarium powstawały obiekty sportowe, m.in. stadion olimpijski. Tutaj jest zapalany znicz olimpijski przed każdą nowożytną olimpiadą.

The Temple of Zeus is an ancient Greek temple dating back to the 5th century B.C. It was dedicated to the god Zeus and is located in Olympia. The ruins of this iconic site include majestic columns that once protected a sculpture of Zeus, which is no longer standing. Despite this, visiting the temple remains a remarkable experience for history enthusiasts. The site also housed remarkable works of art and culture dedicated to worshiping Zeus.
While the temple itself is not in nearly as good condition as many of the others in Greece, the history and remaining ruins are still impressive. Seeing the pieces in the museum first helps better visualize what it would have looked like when it was in its full glory. One of many impressive sites located inside the archaeological site at Olympia.
Alyssa B — Google review
Absolute waste of time. The columns were nice - snap a pic for a min and then that’s literally it. They don’t tell you that 1/3 of the site is closed and denied entry. What’s left requires a whole lot of imagination and invention. Not many information boards and no audio guide. Literally not a tourist friendly site and the small stand selling drinks charge €3.5 for a bottle of Coke Zero. + side , used the toilets and they’re very clean for the venue so I appreciate that Could do it in 20 mins & would only recommend if in the vicinity and you have the Athens (city) pass
Sarish M — Google review
Ancient Olympia is a very beautiful place with ruins. If you love history, you should definitely visit it. The Temple of Zeus and Hera, the old stadium — you can really feel the history here. There are many shady spots where you can hide from the sun, and signs that explain the buildings. You can take pictures and upload them to ChatGPT — it will tell you more about each structure. It worked great as a guide. The museum is also impressive. When you get to the part with both sides of the Temple of Zeus, you will understand where the name Peloponnese comes from. A very interesting and atmospheric place!
Sergey ( — Google review
Olympia, Greece What a fabulous educational tour about the Temple of Zeus and Hera. You can almost hear the roaring of the crowds at the ground of the once was a stadium. One of the seven wonders of the ancient world, built in the fifth century. We also really enjoyed the gift shop, but the museum was a plus bonus… I WOULD RECOMMEND
Cindy L — Google review
The Templeof Zeus was built in 470-456 BCE and had 13 Doric columns on the long sides and 6 on the short ones. It was decorated with statues and friezes representing mythological scenes. The temple housed the STATUE OF ZEUS, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the work of PHIDIAS, the greatest sculptor of antiquity. The statue, 12-13 m high, was made of wood, ivory, gold, semi-precious stones and represented Zeus sitting. On the occasion of the 2004 Olympic Games, the column in the northwest corner of the temple was remade.
Lucian I — Google review
Tourist trap. Not worth it. It’s 20 euros for non-EU adults. Just take your pictures over the gate. there’s really nothing there except the columns.
Alex M — Google review
During a cruise port stop, I had the unforgettable opportunity to visit the Temple of Zeus. This iconic site was a highlight of my travels, offering an extraordinary glimpse into ancient Greek civilization. The temple’s ruins are awe-inspiring, standing as a testament to the grandeur of classical architecture and the incredible skills of ancient craftsmen. Walking among the colossal columns, one cannot help but feel a deep sense of awe for the millennia-old history that surrounds you. The site is well-preserved and provides ample information for history enthusiasts and casual tourists alike, with placards and signages that enrich the visitor experience. Despite the ruins’ popularity, the grounds never felt too crowded, which allowed for personal contemplation and a peaceful exploration. The view from the temple grounds is breathtaking, overlooking the city and providing a perfect panorama for photographers. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, making the myths and history of Zeus come alive, adding a rich layer to what one might get from a self-guided tour. The staff at the site were friendly and the amenities were more than adequate for a location of such historical significance. I highly recommend a visit to the Temple of Zeus to anyone with a love of history or mythology, or simply the desire to connect with the ancient world. It’s a five-star experience that stands out even in a journey packed with incredible sights.

The Museum of the History of the Olympic Games of antiquity is a must-visit attraction in Olympia, Greece. It is part of a complex that includes the Archaeological Museum of Olympia and the archaeological site itself. The museum offers insights into ancient games and exhibits various archaeological findings related to the Olympics. Despite being affected by historical destruction and earthquakes, it still provides a glimpse into the former grandeur of the sanctuary. Visitors can purchase tickets for entry to all sites, which also cover parking facilities.
I wandered into this small, charming museum and was pleasantly surprised. It’s located in a beautiful old neoclassical building that used to be the first archaeological museum in Olympia. The exhibits take you through the history of the Olympic Games from ancient times all the way to the 5th century AD. I really enjoyed seeing original athlete equipment like bronze discs, weights, and scrapers which made the daily life of the athletes feel real. There were also small statues and early depictions of sports on jewelry, which showed just how important athletics were in ancient culture. The museum is compact and easy to explore, with clear displays and helpful explanations. It’s much quieter than the main museum, so you can take your time and really absorb the atmosphere. The whole visit took about 30 to 45 minutes, and it felt like a nice complement to seeing the ruins. It’s located between the town and the archaeological site, so very convenient to add to your walk. If you’re curious about how the ancient Games worked and what they meant to the people of the time, this museum is definitely worth a visit. --- Where olive trees in silence grow, the ancient stones still softly glow. A sacred path beneath my feet, where gods and mortals used to meet. The echo of a chariot’s race, still lingers in this hallowed place. Though temples lie in ruin’s grace, their fallen columns still embrace. The Temple of great Zeus stands wide, in dreams, its golden form won't hide. The flame still burns where Hera’s name once lit the first Olympic flame. I stood upon the starting line- no crowd, no cheer, yet all divine. And in the breeze, I swear I heard the past return, without a word.

An interesting museum with a lot of information on the history of the Olympic Games - definitely a worthwhile visit when in Olympia. The ticket to the Archaeological Museum and Olympia site includes this museum. We didn’t find it a long visit - we were here less than half an hour. But the relics and information boards were interesting and worth our time to visit and learn more.

A very informative museum that adds depth to the visit of Ancient Olympia. The collection is not large, but well-curated and thoughtfully presented. Excellent for understanding the cultural and historical significance of the ancient Olympic Games. Definitely worth a stop before or after seeing the archaeological site.

The Philippeion is a circular building located within the Altis, dedicated to Zeus by Philip II of Macedon. It was initially constructed to celebrate a victory in 338 B.C. and completed by Alexander the Great after his father's assassination. This monument is an elegant example of ancient Greek architecture and holds statues related to the Macedonian royal dynasty. The site also includes other significant structures such as the Prytaneion and offers a captivating experience for history enthusiasts.
Philippeion is the only circular structure and the only one dedicated to the people in the sacred area, ALTIS. It is a memorial erected by Philip II, King of Macedonia in honor of the victory at Chaeronea, 338 BC, and completed by his son, Alexander the Great.

Voilà le texte de la plaque explicative si cela sert à certain et si Google le traduit dans votre langue. THE PHILIPPEION Its construction began by Philip Il after his victory in the battle of Chaironeia 338 B.C. and was dedicated to Zeus. After Philip's death it was completed by his son, Alexander the Great. It is the only circular building in the Altis and it is encircled by a collonade. The outer columns of lonic order with bases in the Attic lonic style supported an lonic entablature of shell-limestone, while in the interior, attached to the wall stood nine Corinthian semicolumns and in the middle, opposite the entrance a semicircular pedestal. The top of the roof, which was laid with clay-tiles ended in a bronze poppy, which held the beams together. Philippeion was a heroon built in order to glorify the Macedonian dynasty, of which five chryselephantine statues were set up in. the interior, crafted by the famous sculptor Leochares.

The Archaeological Site of Olympia is an ancient sanctuary and the birthplace of the Olympic Games. It features impressive architecture, including temples dedicated to Zeus and Hera. The site was originally a sacred grove and later became a sanctuary for the god Kronos before hosting the first Olympic Games in 776 B.C. The games continued for over 1000 years until they were abolished by Emperor Theodosius in AD 393.
This is the starting point of the Olympic games. There are two museums on this site one before you come in and one near the end both quality impressive. The site is quite big with area preserved so you can not walk on or in them. But there is lots to see, pictures and descriptions of how it was back then. There are some really great pieces in the museums from helmets, shields, vases to tools weapons and other body armour. Amazing statues and mosaics which reflect the past games. You also find out about the modern games and the different use of the flame. Can I just say the we normally do some of the sites at a pace but could have done with more than 2 hrs at this location. 👍
Pauly — Google review
One of the worlds’ most visited monuments. It is an experience not to miss. Tip:you may also find 3D binoculars/ augmented reality somewhere in town (we didn’t know but we saw many people using them) to help you understand how the building used to be in ancient times.

A must visit when visiting the peloponnese, has so much history and great things too see. I went because my wife is really into old things but as a neutral I found the place fascinating with information boards all around the site telling you what each rock was and what it was for. The tickets are well priced for what's included and will take up 3 hours or more of your day. There's also plenty of shaded areas as it does get hot in the sun.
Chris T — Google review
Very interesting to see, where the Olympics originated (both the historical site itself as the two museums) One about the history of the site, the other one about the history of the (old) Olympic Games. With one ticket you can visit all three locations. It is a walkable distance from each other. As for the archaeological site... amazing!!!
Jelle — Google review
this is a massive area of archeological exploration. it is the home of the worlds first stadium dedicated to athletic competition. the start line is still there. it boasts large training areas, roman baths and temples. the area is relatively flat and easy to negotiate. this multiple acre dig really gives the visitor a feeling of what their lives were like. the museum has an amazing number of relics from the grounds. this is apparently the site of the olympic games. our guide the importance of these games in opening the doors to peace.

Amazing to walk through so much history - having a guide to explain the finer details was extremely helpful. The size of the site & all of the various buildings across Greek & Roman history was fascinating. Worth the bus trip.

We spent hours here. It's absolutely amazing. We first came on the August full moon but due to local fires it was closed. We spent 3-4 hours in the 2 museums and we had about an our in the archaeological site, we could have done with at least another 30 minutes at least. It really is impressive and a must for visiting. The ticket for the 2 museums and site costs 20 euro per person. Children were free. You can purchase your tickets at all 3 places and where ever you buy it that's where you have to enter first.

The Archimedes Museum offers a rich experience with its exhibits, providing audio-visual material in both Greek and English. The displays are accompanied by detailed diagrams, photos, and complete bibliographical references. While some visitors find the museum to be touristy and busy, others appreciate the interactive displays and the opportunity to learn new things. The museum is recommended for those interested in delving into history and science.
With the teenager dropped into this museum on a whim and left genuinely impressed. Housed in a two‑floor building in the heart of Olympia, it’s packed with interactive models of Archimedes’ genius inventions. You’ll find everything from the famous Archimedes’ screw to a working replica of the Antikythera Mechanism. There are also mechanical clocks, hydraulic weirdness, catapults, cranes so much ancient tech in one spot! I loved fiddling with the hands‑on exhibits that show how engineers of old solved real problems. The audio visual panels are friendly and bilingual, so no need to be a science whiz to enjoy them. It’s quiet, compact, and engaging a welcome change from larger tourist crowds. A friendly staff member explained a few tricky inventions in simple terms, which made the visit feel personal. We spent about an hour here, but could have stayed longer tinkering and watching the models in action. If you like clever machines or just want a fun, hands-on museum experience next to the archaeological site, this one is a real treat.
Peyo H — Google review
,Wonderful museum created by private initiative. The tour and explanation of the exhibits by the staff are also wonderful. There is no entrance fee but it is a shame not to leave a donation, as I saw many people do. Some exhibits may be for older children, but in any case, everyone will benefit from the knowledge they will receive.
Elsa S — Google review
This is a fantastic place to explore the brilliant inventions of ancient Greece, especially those of Archimedes and other pioneering minds. While it may appear modest in size at first glance, don’t be fooled—you can easily spend hours delving into each captivating creation and uncovering the genius behind them. That said, if you're short on time, a quicker visit can be wrapped up in about an hour. The staff is very helpful and explained everything. It's a wonderful experience for both kids and adults, offering a hands-on, educational adventure that sparks curiosity and imagination. If you're nearby, I highly recommend stopping by. Admission is free, but donations are welcome—and they offer a selection of cleverly designed games inspired by ancient inventions. I picked up a couple, and the kids absolutely loved them!

Our visit to the Archimedes Museum was a real highlight! We were immediately captivated by the exciting puzzle at the entrance - especially as we received a beautiful historical coin as a reward for solving it. In the museum itself, we learnt a lot about the impressive life and work of Archimedes - from his ingenious inventions to his mathematical discoveries. The dedicated staff member on site, who gave us a lot of additional information with great passion and expertise, deserves special mention. Her explanations were understandable, exciting and rounded off the experience wonderfully. The museum is a real insider tip; interactive, informative and designed with attention to detail. An absolute recommendation for anyone who likes history, science and puzzles.

I had a wonderful experience at the Museum of Inventions dedicated to Greek culture and Archimedes. While exploring, we were simply asking some questions, and the lovely lady at the museum reception came over and, with so much joy and enthusiasm, started explaining everything to us. She wasn’t even our guide, yet she took the time to share her knowledge with such passion and clarity. Her explanations were engaging, easy to understand, and full of energy — you could feel how much she loved what she was talking about. This genuine kindness made the visit unforgettable and turned a simple stop into an inspiring learning experience. A truly unique museum that’s worth visiting, not just for the fascinating inventions, but also for the warm people who bring them to life.

My 11 and 12 year old said "no more museums!" after a day at the Olympia site, archaeological museum and Olympic games museum......but then we found this little gem and we had to force them to leave! On the main high street, with free entry but a donation box. Lots of interactive parts to try and demonstrations of the inventions and discoveries of Archimedes and other great Greek thinkers. A fabulous member of staff who helped us and explained to us in English various scientific procedures and inventions - very impressive. The "big children" (aka the parents) also had fun trying everything out.

What a brilliant little museum. Set up by a philanthropist and costing nothing to enter (there is a donation box) this is a little gem. It covers many of the extraordinary inventions he created and explains them in English as well as Greek. The models are fabulous and there are interactive sections for kids. Really great!

Stadium
The Stadium at Olympia is an ancient site where foot races and other Olympic events took place. It features grass, dirt, and stone ruins, as well as the Temple of Zeus and the Temple of Hera. The stadium had a capacity of 45,000 people and was designed with a dirt surface and marble start and finish blocks. Spectators sat on sloped grass hills to watch the games. Originally located near Mount Cronion, it was later moved outside the temple of Zeus.
You have to be up for quite a bit of walking. In the heat, make sure to stay hydrated, I had some exhaustion from the walking and heat. It was surreal to imagine I was at the place where the ancient Olympic games were played. The history channel should do an episode dedicated to the engineering marvel of the whole area. One recommendation I have is that they should rent like wheelchairs or golf carts, an aid to assist the disabled, sick and elderly to get around the area as it is large.

Visiting the Olympia Stadium in Greece was an unforgettable thrill! I ran the full length of the ancient track, heart pounding between weathered stone bleachers, feeling like a true Greek champion basking in all the glory. The surrounding ruins—temples and buildings steeped in history—were awe-inspiring and mystic. The site’s raw beauty and timeless energy made every step electric. It’s not just a place; it’s a journey back to the roots of the Olympics. Absolutely epic—don’t miss it!
Mikeynrrr — Google review
It is amazing to ponder how long the Olympic competitions were held. There are other more impressive looking ancient stadiums, but this one has the history. The fact that today's Olympic torch still begins its journey here, makes this place even more special.
Kathy B — Google review
Standing on the ancient Olympic track is an incredible feeling. It’s a quiet, open space, but the history speaks for itself. Just imagining the athletes running here thousands of years ago gives you goosebumps. A small site, but deeply meaningful.

It is a wonderful place for those who love history, especially greek history. I really recommend this wonderful archeological site. Tickets for the museum and the archeological site os €10,00. Visitors can buy it personally on the booth tickets. It is really worth it, nice place for photos and to acquire a little bit of greek ancient culture and mythology.

20€pp (free entrance for European <25y) for the Olympic stadium and 2x museum. But if you walk straight up the hill from the ticket office (keep the entrance to the stadium on your right), you have a great view on the ancient stadium ...for free

The museum is generally closed but you can ask at the entrance of the Museum of the History of the Olympic Games next door and they will open it for you. Small display of documents and photos about the history of the excavations at Olympia - interesting but rather specialist.

Was there on December 20, 2024. Extremely confusing information at the ticket booth. Why would they even mention this place on the list of Opening Hours if it’s closed??? We wasted few hours in Olympia because we thought it was open, otherwise we would have gone to the next city already.

Sights & Landmarks
Located in Olympia, Klio's honey farm offers an immersive experience for visitors interested in beekeeping and honey production. The farm provides a one-hour informational tour where guests are welcomed with traditional spoon sweets, water, coffee, and juice while learning about the history and process of honey-making. Visitors have the opportunity to see special machinery, explore a photo gallery, and taste the farm's own honey. Additionally, guests receive a beeswax cream known for its skin benefits.
Klio and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We were treated to an in depth explanation of the history of the family and the farm as well as how the honey is produced. We also saw an exhibition of historical honey production in Greece and across the world. Finally we tasted the honey as well as some homemade remedies and traditional sweets which were delicious. I would thoroughly recommend visiting Klio’s if you’re in the area.

Do not miss this on your trip! We visited with our 2 year old and it was the perfect break from ruins and tourist traps! This peaceful farm was the stop we didn’t know we needed- filled with warmth, hospitality, and many laughs! Klio was an absolute joy and her explanation of the honey making process was the perfect amount of knowledge and hands on look into her world. The tasting of the honey was delicious and we even bought some honey and cream to take home as gifts for our friends! Her patience with our son and teaching him about the process warmed my heart. It was great to have a safe place for him to run and play and see the geese and learn about honey and bees! Thank you for making this the best stop in Olympia for us ❤️
Elaine S — Google review
We visited this honey farm today! Klio did a wonderful presentation, and the hospitality was great! We tasted many things including the honey that is made here. It was delicious, and the stories of the bees were very interesting. I highly recommend a visit to this honey farm. Thank you Klio!

Klio’s farm was wonderful! We were greeted with cold juice, water and delicious coffee! Klio came out and served us some homemade sweet spoons and told us about her family history! She was very engaging and the tour was wonderful! We ended with some samples of honey and a body butter sample! This was a family experience as the honey and body butter were explained and served by Klio’s mom! This was well worth the 10€!!!

Absolutely loved visiting Klio's Honey Farm. Such a great experience. Klio gave us a tour of her farm as well as presenting us with information about honey bees and the process of making honey. We were served "diples' with homegrown honey which was so delicious. A must see place if in this area of the world.

We had a wonderful visit to Klio’s honey farm! It surpassed all my expectations, and it was a privilege to see what Klio and her family have built here. We travelled to Klio’s honey farm with our Tour Guide who called up beforehand to inform Klio of our arrival. When we arrived we were greeted by a beautiful set up with fresh juice, water and coffee for the whole family, we had 2 young children and Klio was amazing with them, she gave them some plastic jugs and cups to play with whilst we were there. Klio started off with the wonderful history of her bee farm and showed us the hives and items for their history of bee keeping. She was really good at keeping all of our attention and answering any questions we had as well as multitasking and giving the children little activities to do at the same time to keep them entertained. After the talk we got to try her amazing spoon sweets made from the Quince on her farm and she also picked some fresh figs for us to try from her fig trees. She led us to a room set up with the full history of bee keeping and pictures of her family which were so lovely. She ended our day with some traditional greek pastries and some of her amazing honey which was incredible. Klio went over an above and we all can’t thank her enough - we bought some of her amazing honey and homemade balm to bring home - it really was a truly wonderful visit and I can’t recommend visiting her enough. Thank you for such a wonderful visit!

This was a beautiful experience. Amanda explained the history of their family vineyard and the making of their wines and olive oils in great detail. The food pairing and wines were amazing, as was the lady who poured it. We wish it lasted all day long. 6 of us from Canada enjoyed it very much. 🍷🫒

Excellent stop after Olympia ruins visit. Driver suggested so we stopped. He waited waited as we did a tasting. Fantastic wines, grown here, family business (owned the land for 7 generations). They press their own olive oil from their trees, all wines are grapes grown here. Tasting here is a perfect stop. Family very engaging.

Fantastic family winery with wonderful wines! We were greeted by several puppies before getting to the tour of the facility. Very impressive equipment with everything done on site producing 100% organic wines. The tastings were perfectly described and delicious. Amanta and her brother were gracious hosts answering all questions and taking the time for discussions about the local area. Don't forget about the olive oil they make as well! Would highly recommend!!!

Smili art workshop is a treasure in Olympia. We saw how you can work on marble and we were able to try it ourselves. We also followed a sculpting workshop, it was an amazing experience. This place is definitely worth a visit! Not only for the things you can try out and see, but also for the lovely people and their hospitality.

An amazing place and tour! We learned so many things about how to sculpt and how a sculptor can imitate a real model on a piece of marble! Alexandros the owner is a very friendly guy and was willing to answer all of our questions. Also, this guy was the main sculptor of the reconstructions in ancient Olympia and he sculpted many pieces as the ancient Greeks did! In my opinion you can't miss to visit this place! Thank you!
