Golf Courses
Renfrew Golf Club is a well-maintained course with fantastic greens and ongoing high-standard work on bunkers and drainage. The flat layout offers a decent length of nearly 7000 yards, featuring reachable par 4's and 5's, as well as challenging par 3's. The venue also provides catering services in a beautiful setting with picturesque views.
Cracking course always kept in great condition - greens are in fantastic shape and the work being done on the bunkers and drainage is being done to a very high standard. Just a touch under 7000 yards off the whites its a decent length but its very flat so you're not gonna be climbing hills all day. With reachable par 4's and 5's and some long challenging par 3's; its got a bit of everything.

Flat parkland course with several challenging holes, played the course mid June. In suberb condition. Nice club house with welcoming staff. Also a very well stocked pro shop. Really enjoyed my day there. Would definitely recommend.
Khalid F — Google review
Beautiful course. Great autumnal colours. Fantastic views of the Clyde towards Erskine Bridge. It's November so winter greens. Apparently you need a mat to play off the fairways but no-one told me before I played. Will definitely go back in the summer.

Visited for a funeral tea. Really nice venue with beautiful outlook. We seen deer over in the trees whilst there. The golf club also done the catering I believe, which was amazing. Hot sausage rolls & pies. Sandwiches with various fillings. Absolutely delicious scones & tasty cakes. Perfect choice of venue.

Robertson Park is a fantastic outing for the whole family, featuring a small pond and play areas for children. The park offers flat and clear paths, making it ideal for running. Renfrew council hosts events like food and comic festivals here, adding to the park's charm. The well-maintained park boasts colorful flowers in summer, clean kids' play areas, resurfaced tennis courts, and a bustling skatepark.
Beautiful park to visit and great host of the Doggys day. The park is lovely to walk around and has a beautiful bird pond within. Definitely worth a trip. Look forward to coming back with my dog again
Lovely L — Google review
Love this park. Great childhood memories. Only problem being there are still NO public loos. Not even a disabled one for radar keys. On occasions, I have been there with groups of kids, and had to walk all the way back to our church just to let kids use the loo. Not ideal 😳
SuperPinny — Google review
Lovely park walk in the sunshine with my family today. Totally recommend if you have youngsters as loads of fantastic climbing, swings etc to play on. Spent hours there today. Nice walk areas for you and the dogs if you have them too. Overall a great family day out on the cheap and there is of course the icecream shop if you fancied it when weather improves.

Lovely park for kids and dog walkers. Great flowering plants and trees springtime. Robertson Park is in Renfrew, Scotland. It has recreational parkland and garden areas which are open to the public. The park offers various amenities and activities for the general public. These include a duck pond, floral gardens, BMX course, skateboard park, tennis courts, putting area, bowling green, sensory garden, cycle tracks, swing parks and a small animal enclosure.

We had a great afternoon exploring around the park again. My Son enjoys playing the road layout section with his bike/scooter. The park has equipment for most ages too so worth a visit with the kids 🛴

Was lashing down with rain but still had a good time. My son loves the skatepark and the kids' play park has some decent obstacles to keep him entertained. Would obviously be much better when the sun's shining.

Paisley Abbey, a 12th-century Catholic abbey and burial place of Scottish royalty, has a rich history dating back to its founding as a Cluniac monastery within a 6th century Celtic church. The abbey is known for its connection to Scottish knight William Wallace and its role in the Wars of Scottish Independence. It was also the site where Robert the Bruce's sister passed away after an accident, leading to the birth of King Robert the Bruce II.
Paisley Abbey is a stunning building, rich in incredible history. The architecture is breathtaking, and the sense of heritage is evident as you explore the space. What made the visit even more special was the team of volunteers. They are so knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming! They brought the history to life with fascinating stories and insights. It's well worth a visit, whether you're a history buff or just passing through.

I visited this wonderful place during the week . Free to get in nice tea room and made welcome , I haven't been to paisley for decades , and that was to see Killie play st mirren . Apart from the abbey, there wasn't much else to see in paisley and I tried . The museum was shut and Like most towns and cities in the UK , their glory days are in the past . Sad

Paisley, Abbey is a must see if you’re into seeing old churches and Abbeys. It’s a little out of town but well worth the trip. The exterior and interior are spectacular and is awe inspiring as any I’ve seen, having additions and rebuilds. And it is not overrun with tourists. I took the guided tour which was wonderful because nobody else showed up but me, the guide was a wealth of information and a delight to speak with and informed me that they wish they had more visitors. They have a little coffee and souvenir shop. Take some time and visit this wonderful old Abbey.
Don L — Google review
We loved it. We went to see the Barochan Cross but there is so much wonderful history. Paisley Abbey is a historic parish church of the Church of Scotland, located on the east bank of the White Cart Water in the center of Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland—about 7 miles (11 km) west of Glasgow. Recognized as the “cradle of the Royal House of Stewart,” it blends Romanesque and Gothic architecture. Established around 1163 by Walter FitzAlan, the first High Steward of Scotland, as a Cluniac priory on the site of a 6th-century Celtic church founded by St. Mirin. Under royal patronage, the abbey grew wealthy through trade with European centers. It was a center of learning; Scottish hero William Wallace is believed to have been educated there in the late 13th century. There are several royal burials in the church, including Robert III. The staff are wonderful. They were patient in detailing the above history and pointing out interesting highlights, including the alien gargoyle on the upper tier. Highly recommended.
Shane G — Google review
An excellent and beautiful abbey right in the heart of Paisley! A great design which certainly catches the eye. There is so much history here, dating back about a millennium. Battles between the Scots and Anglos with Edward Longshanks and Bruce, Stuart Houses. It has saw fires, the war, and much more. I recommend coming here. There are plenty of places to sit, have a rest in the shade. Wonderful place.
Travis W — Google review
“This is a place where the glory of God and the love of people come together. The spiritual atmosphere of the Abbey brings deep peace to the heart, and the brothers and sisters in Christ welcome you with open arms and loving hearts. ‘Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honour one another above yourselves.’ (Romans 12:10)”
Matthew D — Google review
I recently visited Paisley Abbey and was really impressed. The renovation work has made the place look amazing while still keeping its old charm. You can see how much care has gone into restoring and maintaining the Abbey. The staff were kind and shared interesting stories about its history and the recent repairs. The place feels peaceful and full of character. It’s also easy to reach with parking nearby and shops and cafés around. If you’re in Paisley, I’d highly recommend stopping by, it’s a lovely mix of history, beauty, and calm.

Make sure you book onto a guided tour; we had a very knowledgeable young lad who spent an hour and a half with us, telling us so many interesting facts. With his laser pointer he was able to highlight points in stained glass windows or high up on walls or the ceiling. What a fascinating place, so much history and the way it fits into the bigger picture of Scotland is very important.

The Titan Clydebank is a popular local pub in the town of Clydebank, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Offering hearty local dishes, beer and cocktails alongside a banquet space, the pub is perfect for both leisure and business. With outdoor seating and seating available inside, The Titan is great for family gatherings or group drinks with friends.
Decided to visit the Titan restaurant for the first time in around 5 years , didn’t make a booking, just did a walk in . Place was busy but a nice girl advised us we could have a table for two that was already pre booked for later , as long as we were finished in an hour & half . That was fine . Ordered up shared starter & two main meals . All food was delicious. Left full and happy . Staff were nice n friendly. Will definitely return again very soon . Thanks .
Charles D — Google review
Went here and had a thoroughly tasty and good value cooked breakfast. Staff were super friendly and service was quick. If I had to point out a negative it's that I think they should give you 2 slices of toast for the 99p supplement, especially as they give you 2 potato scones or 3 hash browns for the same price. Apart from that it was all good and I'll definitely be back again.
D R — Google review
Attended for my friends 60th celebrations. I was very surprised at size of the pub. We entered Via pub entrance, bar manager kindly directed us to to private function room. The room was good size, with its own bar, dance floor, DJ set up, toilets. Down from function room there is open space to set buffet up. Prices average £6.75 for one orange juice and 1 non alcohol beer. Staff polite and friendly. Only downside location, If you do not drive not easy to get to. Which showed when we left, as at 23.00 the pub itself was empty. For function room hire 10/ 10.
V G — Google review
Absolutely terrible. Stayed over, room was not great, but low price so fine with that. Told breakfast was 10am at check in, again at the bar the evening before and when checking out at 10am. I delayed my journey for this, then at 10am someone sticks a sign on the door saying "staff training, not opening till 12". I do not believe this was training for a single second, either someone did not turn up for work or (and I think this more because of the amount of people sitting around inside) this is a way of not working. Like many i try and avoid the big hotel chains, trying to keep our locals alive, but when things like this happen...🤷‍♂️
Kris S — Google review
This bar / hotel is a hidden gem, I honestly didn’t expect to have what I’d say is the best burger I’ve ever had at a Green King pub! Food is delicious honestly 5*, atmosphere is great in the bar, rooms basic but have all you’d need. Staff really friendly especially Kayleigh who checked us in, would 100% recommend

This venue boasts one of Scotland's largest indoor go-kart tracks, featuring a fresh layout that promises to challenge even the most seasoned racers. With karts reaching speeds of up to 40 mph, you'll experience adrenaline-pumping excitement as you navigate the twists and turns.
Came for a family member's birthday. Staff were pleasant and Informative from the beginning to the end. Facilities look great and are kept clean. Would come back again.

50 mins wait for 4 small trays of chips that cost me almost £20. Our racing slot was 30 mins late. No apologies, no information. I paid for medals and had to ask 3 times for someone to provide them. We WONT be back. I spent almost £200 for 3 boys between the event, food and drink and activities during the very long wait. Zero value for money.... poor, just poor.
A C — Google review
We booked for my son’s 11th Burthday and the whole team were amazing. The girl who greeted us and organised everything for us was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The safety was perfect without being overbearing. The party wasn’t cheap but worth it for a special occasion.
Alexandra F — Google review
Had a really fun day out at TeamSport Clydebank. The track is well laid out and feels safe, with a good mix of corners and straights to keep it exciting. The karts are quick and fun to drive. (Petrol karts were clear back n the day) The staff were brilliant throughout as always, friendly, helpful, and really added to the experience. Easily the best TeamSport venue I’ve been to in terms of atmosphere and how the place is run. Only thing to be aware of (and this seems to be the case at most TeamSport venues) is that they do tend to run behind schedule. It is a little pricey if its your first time, however once you have all the gear for it its well worth the money. By far my favourite teamsport track after going 7 times.
Calum H — Google review
Good day out overall. The kids had a great time and loved the racing, and the atmosphere was fun once on track. Staff could’ve been a bit more engaging, and the waiting times were longer than expected, but it was still enjoyable for the family.
Neve A — Google review
Great experience! Some genuine issues mean I won't be returning though. Go karting safety briefing was hard to hear as the person giving it mumbled the rules quietly. While out on the track Teamsport members were allowed to drive dangerously and ram into members of my party while we were taken to the side and asked to be safer- obvious double standard and the members' wreckless driving ruined our experince a bit as it became more about avoidning collisions from behind than actually having fun. We had an hour between our go-karting and laser tag experience and ordered food immediately off of the track- just 5 dishes between 8 of us, mostly chips and nachoes and were still waiting after our hour was over and had to rebook our lazer tag experience. May have been a busy day for staff or may have been understaffed but we did mention a few times that we had a booking we had to make and we were promised our food in 'just a few mins' several times. On the flip-side- Sophie was a dream! She found us and flagged that we may be late for our lazer tag experience and explained our options and worked out how to rebook us to ensure we'd still get to experience everything and let us bring our food with us to pick at between lazer tag games. 10/10 for her! Great instruction and felt very safe in her hands. Will probably be back but will try another branch.
Rhianonne S — Google review

I went yesterday just to see the layout, as soon as I walked in I got asked by Lyndsey if she could help, I explained why I was there. then i deceided to book and i had a 40% discount via Sky. Andrew helped me with my booking as It wasn't working for me on my Mobile. must have been at least 15mins to get me booked in and nothing was too much bother for him. and Sophie and Caitlin we're lovely as well. The Titan Clydebank, also known as the Titan Crane, is a unique visitor attraction in Scotland. It stands as a reminder of the historical shipbuilding greatness of John Brown's Engineering Shipyard. The crane offers visitors the opportunity to experience its cool maritime and historical heritage from the top gantry platform, providing great views of the Clyde. This iconic structure was completed in 1907 and was the world's first electrically powered cantilever crane.
The Titan Clydebank is a remarkable piece of industrial heritage and an iconic landmark in Scotland. Standing at an impressive height, it showcases the craftsmanship of Clydebank's shipbuilding era. Even more stunning at night, it comes alive with vibrant, colorful lights that beautifully highlight its striking structure, creating a breathtaking sight.

Specialty Museums
Glasgow Museums Resource Centre, located in Glasgow, Scotland, is home to the Open Museum, a unique community museum that aims to make museum collections accessible beyond traditional museum settings. It is part of a network of ten museums under Glasgow Museums. Despite this extensive network, only 2% of Glasgow's public museum collection is currently on display, with the majority housed at the Resource Centre in Nitshill.
It's one of the best tours i have been on. You must prebook a tour using email, but the tours are free, and there are many to choose from. I booked a general tour to see what the museum storage facility was like and believe me i was not disappointed.
Travel G — Google review
This is an amazing tour run by the hardworking folks who run the back-end of the city museums. You get to see first-hand many of the artifacts that populate the many museums throughout the city. If you have a specific area of interest, you can contact the resource center and there are tours of specific areas that occur regularly. The general tour just briefly touches on a few subject areas, but even so it is very much worth it. The staff were very knowledgeable and told some great stories. Highly recommended!

Absolute treat. Visited on an hour long tour. Saw various pods with items in. Armour. Vehicles. Egyptian items. World Culture, etc. Fascinating and the guide is very knowledgeable. Specialist tours are available throughout the year. And you can book and request to see certain items. A hidden Glasgow gem.
Alan D — Google review
I was astonished by the GMRC. Glasgow stores more than it exhibits. An artist friend of mine was keen to view Ken Currie paintings not on display at the People's Palace. We viewed them on a general tour. However, if we had booked far enough in advance, we were told we could view almost anything we wished to. But, as we booked on the day, we saw several unexpected exhibits Not on exhibition. Eg a zoo's worth of stuffed animals, armour, William Burrell's home's wall fittings, and much more. All in 1 hour. The guides were fab. An additional Glasgow museum could easily be founded exhibiting the items in store. A fine, splendid afternoon.

I joined the Behind the Scenes Tour and really enjoyed it. Booking was a bit tricky as my email wasn’t answered, but calling worked fine. The tour itself felt flexible and interactive, without a fixed route. It was great to see objects you wouldn’t usually find on display. Overall a good experience.
April L — Google review
Had not heard of the tours of the GMRC until I stumbled across a link online so booked onto a tour. Had Grant as our guide who took us through a few rooms of paintings, fossils and taxidermy and he had a great knowledge of the different items he was showing us. We were asked at the start if there was anything in particular we wanted to see but as we didn't know what was on offer we were happy to be shown anything. So if you do have a specific interest in something, you'll be able to request that room ☺️. All in all, it was a very interesting afternoon, something different and I will book back up again to look at some other rooms.
GSX J — Google review
Miss the old transport museum? The smell and stuff you remember is all here. Particular taxidermy animal from childhood no longer at Kelvingrove? Favourite painting gone from the People's Palace? Ask the guide at the start of your tour or email beforehand and they'll show it to you if they can. Went on the behind the scenes tour, was excellent, very informative. A true hidden gem, tours must be booked beforehand but they are free. Will tailor the tour to your interests if you say at the start. Amazing place, extremely knowledgeable guides, will definitely visit again.
Lesley H — Google review
The GMRC - Glasgow Museum Resource Centre is where 98% of the treasures that are shown in the main museums in and around Glasgow are held before they go on show. It's an amazing place, the guy taking the tour was such a cool and friendly dude too. I had a wonderful time there, it felt like a real privilege to get a behind the scenes tour of the place and see all the amazing treasures, especially the art, the guide pulled out a big rack with Titian's and Bottichelli' originals, mind blown! Not to mention the ancient Egyptian and Roman wonders. Being so close to such priceless wonders in such an unlikely and private setting was amazing. Obviously the security is unreal there but that's to be expected. I can't recommend a visit enough :);

First time being in the paisley town hall and it is Beautiful inside. Went to see Paolo Nutini.

Great venue for a music gig, the way it should always be, close and personal, the bar pricing is such a let down, venue organisers should have a rethink, consumers and gig'goers don't like being ripped off 👎🏻👎🏻
Brian M — Google review
Attended our grandaughter's dance group performance. All of the staff were proactively helpful and positive. This, along with the excellent presentation and cleanliness of the venue gave a very positive impression.

Lovely building, drink choice is really bad and a total rip off. The wine is horrible 🤢 the spice rum which anywhere else would normally be Morgans but unfortunately it was Bacardi spice which had a really strong vanilla taste (not a fan) had an non alcoholic beer (staropramen) a bit like earwax! What the hell townhall! We have a great distillery in town, buy local!! Have been to a few shows now, The latest being Ed Byrne which was fab! Staff are always great. The drink totally let's the place down.

Town Hall looks absolutely amazing. Did amazing job refurbishing it. Went to the Niteworks gig last night and it was outstanding apart from the bar. We were in the queue for 1 hour!! Absolutely ridiculous and because of it we have missed begging to the band set. On events like this there should be more people working behind the bar.

St Mirin's RC Cathedral in Paisley is a breathtaking architectural gem that graces the skyline with its impressive spires. This Romanesque masterpiece stands as one of the largest cathedrals in the area, accommodating nearly 1,300 visitors. Its stunning sandstone interior invites exploration and reflection, making it a must-visit while enjoying other local attractions like Paisley Abbey and the Thread Mill Museum.
We attended a charity event held in the parish halls and had a great afternoon.

Lovely Cathedral with loads of great past history and designs. However distance between seats not nearly enough. Son in law is 6'5" and was very uncomfortable sitting, kneeling was impossible. Needs an adjustment rethink on gap distance. No one could pass seated congregation at communion. Otherwise everything else was lovely.

A wonderful church lead by true clergy who a people focussed. Bishop John has such wonderful leadership qualities and extremely close to the people of the diocese. I can’t speak highly enough of the cathedral and positive impact it has on Paisley.

Clyde View Park is a charming spot to start a leisurely walk along the River Clyde, offering a paved path and picturesque views of the river. The park features a lovely viewpoint overlooking the Clyde, where visitors can often observe boats passing by. Additionally, it offers amenities such as children's play areas, tennis and basketball courts, statues and sculptures, and pond areas. While some mention that maintenance could be improved to attract more wildlife back to the area, others appreciate its cleanliness and safety.
One of the loveliest parks in the whole of the West of Scotland. It's got just about everything. Especially for walkers, dog walkers and photographers .
Pauline — Google review
Small but lovely! I love this little park. There’s a lovely viewpoint that overlooks the Clyde and you can often see boats (there’s a warship being built at the moment). Now I’m biased because I live here - I wouldn’t specifically travel to it to visit per se if you live far away. The park is factored and cared for well, and is clean and safe. There are ducks and moorhens to watch and it looks lovely in autumn. Haiku: Small park has grand view, Boats glide along on the Clyde, Ducks and autumn hues.

First day cockroach on wall, Toilet seat loose uncomfortable , Bathroom door very hard to open and close uncomfortable when someone is asleep when trying to open and close, I did bring these issues to receptionist, was not keen to compensate in some way. But the location and cleanes of place was great.
Joseph H — Google review
Shocking used this park since it was built. I have watched it go downhill since, now the sorry state it is now - owners should have a long good look at themselves and give their heads a wobble - the pond is rancid looking, and everything is totally unkempt
Joe M — Google review
Beautiful little park on the banks of the Clyde. Lovely children’s play park area, tennis/basketball courts, statues and sculptures, pond areas. Great for children and walking dogs. There are plenty of waste bins for litter and dog mess. The grass areas can be quite wet and swampy if there has been a lot of rain but there are paths around the park. Lovely little park rain, snow or sunshine. Loads of dogs walk here.

Nice park with a two play areas for kids and a 5 a side football area. Would call it an area as it's tarmac/concrete area on the up side it also has basketball rings as well. You can go though the park to get onto the Clyde walk and up to Braehead.

Nestled in the heart of Renfrew, the Renfrew Leisure Centre is a fantastic destination for fitness enthusiasts and families alike. Since its grand opening in June 2004, this modern facility has quickly become a beloved hub for locals seeking diverse sports and leisure activities suitable for all ages and skill levels. The centre boasts a versatile four-court multipurpose sports hall that can accommodate various games, making it perfect for basketball or badminton matches.
Went for U16 and U18 competitive basketball game, and the staff were very helpful. A number of the players and parents were Muslim and required a prayer facility. The staff sorted this for us with no issues.
Mansoor H — Google review
No way this had a 4.4 score for being a good gym. I have had a look through the reviews most of them are from people who have popped in to get a covid shot. It's great to have nice staff but no point if your going to catch ebola from using the facilities. There is plenty of room for improvement, gym equipment very basic which is fine but needs to be refurbished. There is no need for the changing rooms to be in this state , lack of hygiene and maintenance, losing members. This is down to lazy , poor maintenance and management. Pretty sure the health board would not approve of this and it's really not that hard or overly expensive to get this fixed.
John D — Google review
Clean, plenty of machines and areas for different sports, friendly staff. It's not a top quality leisure centre but it absolutely does the job. The machines in the gym could use readjusting however as some of them a somewhat misaligned.

The facilities here appear to be pretty good, both indoor and outdoor. The parking is free and I have never not been able to find a space. I have only ever used the main hall and it is pretty good for both basketball and badminton. It is not expensive and the gym looks pretty well equipped.

The staff are really helpful and friendly. They took me through our options clearly and showed us around the equipment. It's nice and clean although some wee maintenance issues around the machines. Was quite quiet around 1700 and we felt comfortable there.

Took my wife for her booster/flu jag tonight, waited outside for 15 minutes, then allowed inside to queue in the corridor for another 1o minutes. 2 NHS workers were walking up and down the line telling people it was over an hours wait to get vaccination, some in front left as they couldn't wait, and others behind us were leaving, I had a look out and the was dwindling fast. Once inside we waited 5 minutes to get vaccinated, 5 minutes waiting after it and we left, with not one person waiting, Their were at least 50 people in the queue, and most people must have taken the advice and not waited and to rebook. What a waste of human resources, time, money and a back log of people still requiring booster, and importantly the flu jab, these are vulnerable people who need these. Disgusting attitude tonite
George M — Google review
This is a relatively small leisure centre consisting of the gym area and a large hall for sports downstairs and several studio rooms for fitness classes upstairs. The staff are very friendly and have always been very accommodating whenever we've needed something. The only thing going against it is the fact that the hall is often unavailable due to the local college booking it out during term time, and there being so many after school activity clubs for kids that often mean you can't get use of the courts in the large hall.

Renfrew Victory Baths, a Grade B listed Edwardian swimming facility, features a 25-meter pool and therapy room. Visitors praise the friendly and professional swimming instructors who have helped their children gain confidence in the water. Online booking is currently required for 45-minute slots at the pool, with individual lanes allocated to dedicated swimmers.
Went for an overnight ghost hunt, and it didn't disappoint. It was very, very warm and creepy. The pool looked gorgeous, but we were there for a ghost hunt. So unfortunately I can't say what it is like for swimming.
Anne M — Google review
Recently started length swimming again and this lovely old pool is local to my current job. Really welcoming staff and the quaint poolside changing booths made it an already inviting atmosphere to relax and exercise. Most of the main area that I saw was very well kept and maintained, the water in the pool was pleasantly warm but not so much that it was a chore to swim in. Like most older pools it could do with some painting and grouting redone in the pool itself but it isn't off-putting like some newer venues that seem to attract scale and rust. The parking is round the back if you haven't been before and you can walk through a fairly smelly lane to get to the front door Which itself is a nice feature.
In V — Google review
Disappointing to see that there are still only 4 showerheads in one corner as the larger shower facilities have been out of order for a long time now. Bigger problem if using alongside the children from swimming classes. Hair drying facilities have also been reduced for some time. Still a pleasant place to swim though the facilities could use a bit of upgrading.
Edward M — Google review
Love the Victory Baths. Staff are very helpful and keep the place immaculately clean. Lovely architecture. 5 stars.
Craig K — Google review
Reminded me of the Calder Street baths I used to go to in the eighties. Cubicle around the pool, where you change and leave your things. There are lockers if that suits too. This is truly a Victorian Baths, (opened 1919) with one pool, and no modern type facilities. So just be prepared, regarding your expectations. We only went here, as our usual facilities were closed or full. Otherwise okay Experience, but will stick to modern facilities. Next week all Covid restrictions, where you have to book first are coming to an end.

Snow Factor is an exciting year-round indoor resort that offers a unique blend of winter sports and relaxation. With its impressive ice-climbing wall, skiing and snowboarding classes, as well as a cozy bar and eatery, it’s the perfect destination for both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts. Visitors have shared their experiences of taking snowboarding lessons here; many found the facilities ideal for newcomers to the sport.
Started my first snowboard lesson on reopening week back in November, was a little challenging as a beginner, but I had fun. Level 2 later that week was not good at all. Being overweight does not make it easy, and I couldn't stand up on the heel edge. With Bradley and James perseverance and making a ledge technique, I started to get there. However had to go back and redo the level 2 as we ran out of time. Onto the level 3 a few weeks later. Was definitely getting easier now, and again thanks to Bradley, we progressed onto level 4 turns as well. Few weeks later and we finished up our lessons on the big slope. Thanks to miles and patsy for the help and advice. Have now been and had a full day ski pass, and having a great time on the big slope, still require some practice and experience, but getting better every run. Overall a great experience, wish I'd done this years ago. Never too late for a mid life crisis! Thanks again to everyone at Snow Factor!!

Had a great group lesson with Mark W in December 2021. Lesson was for level 3 but he also allowed up to venture into level 4 tasks. Felt good about what was taught and have booked my next lesson already. The slope and gear is great however reception staff were lacking some costumer service skills and the toilets would benefit from more regular cleaning.

My husband and myself had enjoyed so much our 2nd snowboarding lessons with Andy! We came with no background but it was always something we wanted to try. We are really looking forward to our third lesson to be able in the future to enjoy a ride by ourselves! Also the staff is very friendly and there is really good facilities and a nice bar where you can relax after the lesson. I would recommend to go in the morning cause it's less busy 😊

Honestly couldn’t ask for a better place to learn skiing. Even in the first lesson, you feel immense confidence because they teach you really well. Our instructor Kristina was extremely helpful, and very patient, even when our turns were monstrous. Would definitely recommend and will definitely go again.
Armaan V — Google review
Great day at Snow Factor! Only my second time snowboarding so was still wary but the slope and facilities were perfect as a starter. Be aware though if you have no snowboarding ability at all and do go for a £55 lesson (Far too pricey) and opt for the full day £30 lift pass then you can potentially be asked to leave the slopes because of danger to yourself and others. The staff were great though and allowed a few runs until we found our feet and picked it up a little bit more. Lesson next time to advance some of my basic skills I think!

First time ice climbing with Richard as our instructor. Was a great laugh and interesting to learn the technique. It definitely felt like longer than an hour. Would highly recommend.

I've been going here for years, it's good to keep your snow skills going all year round. Myself and a friend were there last Sunday night for the last hours of the open day and we were the last two on the slope, the staff member Chris was at the top of the Poma but didn't have anyone to look out for falling so he came out and showed me how to do some tricks on the snowboard and also gave me the confidence to ride the box, I've never wanted to do it in case I went flying off the side in front of crowds but as it was empty and he gave me instruction on how to ride it I went for it. Thanks Chris, you went above and beyond.
Scott R — Google review
Great lesson with Lucy last week. I did my Level 4 snowboarding group lesson and whilst all the instructors have been great, Lucy has been the best thus far. She was very approachable, attentive and a great coach. She genuinely cared and made sure I got the best out of my lesson. Hoping to hit the main slope soon so I’ll be back in touch for a private with her!
Brian ( — Google review

**Gravity Active Glasgow Birthday Party Review:** We recently celebrated my son’s birthday at Gravity Active in Glasgow, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well-organized, and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special. A huge thank you to Aamnah, who was outstanding throughout the event. She was brilliant with the kids—keeping them entertained, engaged, and ensuring everything flowed seamlessly. The venue is ideal for kids' parties—spacious, fun, and packed with exciting activities. The trampoline park was a huge hit, giving the kids plenty of room to run, jump, and burn off energy. Aamnah made sure every child felt included and had fun, with her patience and enthusiasm really shining through. The party package was thoughtfully organized, covering everything from the activities to the food. The only improvement would be adding more variety to the food options and offering some halal choices, which would make the experience even better. The kids had an absolute blast, and as a parent, it was a huge relief knowing everything was handled so professionally. Aamnah’s attention to detail and her ability to manage the group made the whole experience stress-free for us. I highly recommend Gravity Active in Glasgow for any child’s birthday party. The venue is fantastic, and the staff, especially Aamnah, made it a truly memorable experience. My son and his friends are still buzzing about it! We’ll definitely be back for future celebrations.

We celebrated our daughter’s 7th birthday party in Gravity and couldn’t be happier with how it went: registration, playing time, food and our cake presentation. Erin is one of the best people I ever met in service, I was prepared to work hard with kids organization and instead I was just given a free voucher for latte to chill 😁 She lined them up to register, lead to where they needed to be, covered a couple of my oversights. Delighted with Gravity and hope Erin can get some bonus from the company 😁

The place is filthy! Through the full session the mess was brushed up and left there, we were told to sit on the tables that had the mess on the floor because they have just cleaned the other tables and are not allowed on them. I couldn’t even take my kids to the toilet as they were disgusting. You can see in the pictures this is unacceptable. Due to this reason I will not return!

Kids love it. Cost a small fortune with all the extras. Drinks slushies ice creams, especially when there are 3 of them. Worth it to see there little faces light up. U know they will sleep well tonight. Good few hours spent together.
Ashfaq A — Google review
Good overall experience but having no staff at the bottom were you sign in was a little annoying, there should have been at least one person there.
Greg R — Google review
Our two boys aged 12 and 8 loved Gravity. They got plenty of time to jump and run and came out feeling happy and nicely tired out. It was a weekday so there were not many in which might not be the case on weekends. The reason for the 4 stars is just the price. It’s a little expensive like everything at soar so if you have more than one child it can be an expensive day out. The cost increases as you need to buy Gravity socks when you go the first time. But apart from that it is a genuinely fun place to go and the kids won’t be disappointed. One tip is to bring your own water as it’s just so expensive to buy anything at Soar!

Paradise Island Adventure Golf Glasgow offers two huge 18-hole courses for all ages. The resort has good disabled access, and a lift takes golfers up to the courses. If you are in a wheelchair, it's definitely worth getting someone to push you around as there are slight curbs around each hole.
Always a fun day out with the family. Today we came along to the Fun Day for face painting, crafts and stalls aswell as a round of adventure golf ⛳️.

We got a half price offer so it was “only” £16 for four of us. A bit pricey. But the course was fun and enjoyable with a funny atmosphere. It was quite busy so I would like to have seen some new investment in the place like new holes or facilities. But it was a reasonable diversion for an hour. Wouldn’t pay full price to go back though.

Great wee game of crazy golf to kill an hour or so at Braehead XSite. There are two 18 hole courses. Both in good condition. Plenty opportunities for a hole-in-one. Quite expensive I thought at £9 per adult and was a little disappointed that the background noise effects were not on the entire time but all in all it was okay.

-1 made us wait -1 didn’t choose what ball we wanted -1 guy looked a bit funny -1 course was bad -1 price was expensive
Sophia — Google review
First off, pretty expensive. Wed just came back from a caravanning holiday at Skegness and played crazy golf quite a lot whilst there and it was half the price of here. Being a holiday resort you'd expect that to be more expensive. Then it's the condition everything looks tired. You play the same hole multiple times over the two courses as well as the same hole but left or right orientation. My teenage son (17) was laughing going round the two courses at just how bad it was for a premium location activity. I know it's been here for a few years but can't see why anyone would go back again.

Not impressed at all with the features they had. Multiple holes were exactly the same or very close copies. Only a few holes were unique. Holes were small and most could be done in under 3-4 puts. Could be good for kids. Not a bad price. Just a really lame course.

Braehead Arena, located within the Braehead Complex in Renfrewshire, Scotland, is a versatile events and sports arena with a capacity of 5,200. It serves as the home venue for various events including concerts, sports matches such as Paisley Pirates ice hockey games and shows. The arena is also where the expansion Braehead Clan ice hockey team of the Elite Ice Hockey League plays their home games.
I visited Braehead Arena in Glasgow for a performance and had a great experience. The arena is connected to a large shopping centre with plenty of shops, restaurants, and clean facilities. Everything is easily accessible, and the venue is well-organized. There are huge parking areas, which makes it very convenient. A great place for events, shopping, or just spending the day.

Amazing atmosphere when the hockey is on! Venue isn't too cold (I'm totally fine in a hoodie and jersey) Haven't used any of the facilities yet,c so I can't comment on the quality of those

Great arena for the Glasgow Clan ice hockey matches. Having only really got football stadiums to compare it with I think this place is really good. Easy entry and exit. Seats are decent with enough space. Food and drink are decent enough and actually not priced too badly considering your options. They put on a spectacle and a show even if the team is t doing it on the ice.

Great place for shopping, food McDonald's pizza hut quite expensive but I moved from Newcastle last year to be with my family 😉😃but the shopping centre JD sports phone shops ,EE,APPLE, Build a bear ,bowling 👍🎳 and amusements are far side if getting bus just head towards primark through swing doors then XSITE That where fun is crazy gold amusements ten pin 🎳 bar serves food while wait for food has lots pool tables to keep you busy its just a turn off the M8 either way coming in car bus bit like the metro centre back in Newcastle/Gateshead

Great venue. Love spectating Glasgow Clan Ice hockey team! Fab atmosphere, decent price on snacks and drinks. Seating a little confusing sometimes but I think that comes with getting used to the place.

Great selection of shops and also lots of choices to eat only downside was the public toilets they stank and you could tell they weren't cleaned very often as a good few of the toilets were rather dirty and messy ie not flushed And a good few out of order Thank god shopping centre wasn't that busy

The party hosts, like William, are highly praised for their exceptional service and going the extra mile to ensure everyone has a great time. Emma welcomed my son Ben and all his friends today to celebrate his 13th Birthday. She went above and beyond to help, explain everything, took food orders organising everything for us and even offered to take my bags for me. So kind professional and polite. What a joy. Party was seamless from start to finish. Also big shout out to our party host Amy! It was her birthday today too! She was a hit with everyone, so smiley and joyful, what a difference it makes having such great staff!! Big massive thanks to Amy and Emma x

We booked an Ultimate party for my son's 12th birthday and it was absolutely perfect for our needs, we turned up and our incredible party host Gregor took the reigns and provided the most perfect party experience. It really was great, we turned up and were seated at our table, off the kids went into the Laser games and 45 minutes later Gregor arrived with the food order just as the kids reappeared sweaty and buzzing with excitement and ready for their lunch. Gregor checked in regularly and made sure that the ice cream came out before the kids got restless and then brought the cake out bang on cue before it was time for the kids to be herded down to the dodgems (which they absolutely loved). All of the staff were absolutely fantastic and helped make it a great all round experience with extra special thanks and praise to Gregor who really was my party host star and who made the whole experience next level and super easy for all involved. Would definitely recommend and would book again.

My little boy had his 7th Birthday party here today and all the children who came along had a fantastic time. Caitlyn our host was amazing from start to finish. She kept me informed of how the party would flow. She was very helpful & approachable. A big thanks to Caitlyn for making our little boys party run perfect 👌 🌟

Visited for a 10th birthday party. All of the children had an absolute ball playing laser tag and on the bumper cars! All of the staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend if you are considering having a birthday party here.

Bowling alley

Children's amusement center
The Tenpin Glasgow bowling alley offers a pleasant environment for a cheap date night or a fun time out bowling. With an attractive bowling area, an arcade section, and reasonable drink prices, it provides an enjoyable experience. While the venue may benefit from some improvements to keep up with its competitors, it still delivers on expectations. The bar staff received praise and added to the positive atmosphere. Visitors can also enjoy pool games, arcade machines, penny droppers, and food at this establishment.
The Tenpin venue has recently been refurbished and looks amazing! I go to play pool - the new tables are lovely, smaller American ones, no longer the lopsided ones with damaged cloth. It’s also not in a dark area of the venue, much lighter and brighter. There are now smaller metered tables you can play for £5-£7 an hour which is awesome! It’s a really massive improvement. You can order food from your table and there’s a good selection of alcohol free drinks. I had a blast and can’t wait to go again! As a haiku: Tenpin shines like new, Neon lights over pool tables Games, drinks, joy on cue.

Went the other night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The ease of ugh which to book online is great, as is the venue. You can even book to have a pitcher of drink or food as part of your evening's entertainment, at a very reasonable cost as well. The screen used to place player names etc. is easy to use and adds a nice touch to proceedings. All in all I cannot fault anything in the service or game time we got to experience. Will definitely be going again.

Great for a family day out but be prepared for it to be busy and loud! Has a great selection of arcade games, our favorite game was space invaders!
Jamie M — Google review
We visited as a summer holiday treat with two kids, but from start to finish, the service was a letdown. Staff were disorganised, untrained, and unprofessional. We had issues checking in, were told to come back closer to our slot, and then had to monitor the lane ourselves. Once the previous group left, no one cleaned the bay — we had to ask staff again just to get it sorted. The worst part was the food situation. Our order was wrong, and we were told we hadn’t paid for certain items — even though we had. We had to go back and show our receipt to the kitchen staff. One staff member even asked me to come into the kitchen area to speak to them directly, which is completely inappropriate. While I was standing at the door, I overheard the kitchen staff talking about me, only to go quiet when they realised I was there holding proof of payment. The order was eventually fixed, but it took another 20 minutes. Throughout it all, the staff showed no urgency or care. A staff member named Verity was particularly rude and unhelpful — chewing gum while talking to us, completely disinterested, and acting like she didn’t want to be there at all. Not once did anyone apologise, and we were certainly never offered a refund or any kind of gesture for all the inconvenience. The bowling itself was fine, but everything around it made it a stressful, frustrating experience — not the family treat we were hoping for. Do better, Tenpin.
Aimee M — Google review
The bowling itself was a great experience. We got a deal 2 games with 2 burgers and chips for £31. There was a deal for 2 games and 2 burgers and chips for £22 but went for the £31 as this option specified that the burgers were “adult burgers” meaning the other option was probably child’s size. The burgers came with no sauce or even butter on the bun, was so dry, the chips unseasoned and no salad on the burgers. Shocking. Wouldn’t eat from here again.
Erin B — Google review
Had a great time bowling with the family, was quite busy with kid parties on at the weekend. The staff were all lovely and we got to keep on our own shoes. Food is like the usual soft play type food of chips etc . There is also a arcade area surrounding it, so able to make a few hours of fun in the one place.
Sarah K — Google review
This bowling was great we booked out two lanes for a kids birthday and all the kids also got meals with choice of either pizza or burgers and both options where thoroughly enjoyed by the children I would recommend being prepared for the large amount of arcade games that are in there as I wasn’t thankfully they have a bank machine inside the bowling to be able to get some cash out for change but all the kids had a blast
