Bodies of Water
Okanagan Lake is a picturesque destination surrounded by vineyards and orchards, making it a popular spot for boating and swimming. The area is also known for its romantic restaurants, with several eateries in Kelowna and West Kelowna making the list of Canada's most romantic restaurants. Additionally, the lake has historical significance, as it was used to transport windows from Ontario to Westbank United Church in 1938.
Beautiful lake... must visit everyone and enjoy ur lovely memorable moments of life.

Huge beautiful lake spanning Kelowna, Lake country and Vernon, BC Lots of boat launches and beaches. Downtown Pier is amazing by the marina and great night life.. good vibe

Okanagan Lake, in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, is a long, deep freshwater lake stretching about 135 km between Penticton and Vernon. It’s a hub for recreation, offering swimming, boating, wineries along its shores, and scenic beaches in Kelowna and surrounding communities. The lake is also steeped in legend, said to be home to “Ogopogo,” a mythical lake creature that has become a local cultural icon.
Alireza A — Google review
Honestly speaking, Kelowna has nothing to offer, specifically during the time we went " September end". Price are hiked at hotels but did not give me value for money. Driving along the lake was good feeling, but wont be fun for othera

Very big and beautiful with lots of sandy beaches, lots of beautiful access. If you're into boats, many boat rental places available near by to get on to the lake. We rented an airbnb near the lake and it was wonderful. Very clean, the water looks very beautiful.

Winery

Wineries & Vineyards
Mission Hill Family Estate Winery is a leading winery in the Okanagan Valley, known for its modern buildings, amphitheater, and locavore restaurant. The estate was established in 1981 on Mount Bushiri and gained recognition after winning an award for the best chardonnay at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 1994. With its European architecture and a 12-story bell tower, the West Kelowna estate offers stunning views of Okanagan Lake and exceptional wines.
This is not your usual stop on a winery tour. This truly stunning spot requires hours to explore and appreciate. We opted to dine in the restaurant for the three course chef tasting menu with the reserve wine pairing, as well as a regular pairing. The meal offerings changes seasonally with what’s fresh, and I can truly say the chefs and servers are at the top of their game. This was a $350 bill before tip, and it was worth every penny, nearly three hours of dining, wining in the most beautiful place you can imagine… it’s a luxury experience we felt was worth every penny. You won’t want it to end. The only critique I could possibly find is we stopped passed the wine shop and tasting room before our reservation, and the sales person was quite pushy to get us out the door, as they closed in 20 minutes. A bit of a sour start to the evening, but the meal more than made up for it. A couple things to expect: parking is ample, the grounds are glorious so take your time to explore and take pictures before your meal, there are affordable and expensive bottles (so something for everyone), but maybe skip the gift shop if you have no interest in overpriced, kitschy items and $2000 luggage (I get this is a luxury place, but come on), you WILL need a reservation and you WILL need to put down a credit card to do so, it books up fast but we were able to get a table for the next day. 10/10 experience, will be raving about it to anyone who asks how my summer was. Cheers!
J B — Google review
Econic winery high on a West Kelowna hillside. Like it's name, it's as though you are entering a missionary. A tall bell tower rings for 5 minutes at noon, and shorter periods every fifteen minutes. To the right as you enter is the wine and gift shop. It has rooms for dedicated tastings, where we had a tasting with hor d'oeuvres, cumulating with a tasting of the iconic Occulus - which received a 100 point rating, and consistent ratings in the mid-90s. The tasting included Sauvignon Blanc, rose, merlot from the Terroir Collection, and Quatrain from the Legacy collection. Our favorite was the merlot - with distinctive merlot on the nose and taste. Our guide Mia was very friendly and informative. The shop had things you don't expect to see in a wine shop - luggage priced at $25 k, a book about Milan,... You get the idea. Classy...More for show. To the left on entering is the restaurant. All the tables in the restaurant have a lake view. We had a wonderful lunch (See the review). The grounds have a number of statues. Lending to the elevated experience. BTW Mission Hills was selected Winery by NWAC, the 7th time in the 25 year history of the awards. sected
Doug D — Google review
I visited Mission Hill Winery because everyone kept telling me it’s a must-see in Kelowna, and honestly, it lived up to the reputation. The service, the interior, and of course the wine were all excellent—everything felt refined and thoughtfully curated. The only thing to note is that the price range is definitely on the higher side compared to other wineries. And while the staff who recommend the wines are very friendly and knowledgeable, I did feel a slight sense of being rushed at times, probably because it’s such a popular spot. There’s also a separate VIP tasting area, and seeing it from outside really makes you want to try it someday. It has that “I want to experience that too” kind of pull, especially because the entire setup is visible from outside. What I loved was how they display a wide range of wines—from premium to more affordable options—all arranged beautifully so you can see everything in one glance. The overall decoration and presentation are incredibly well done. One thing I wished for was being able to enjoy a glass of wine outdoors. There’s a park-like area with a stunning view of the lake, sky, and landscape. It would’ve been amazing to drink wine out there, but even without that, the indoor experience is still lovely. Whether you enjoy it inside or outside really just depends on what kind of wine experience you’re looking for.

Went to the Chefs tasting and pairing dinner for our anniversary and were blown away by the food, service and views. Sean our waiter was fantastic and food was next level. Incredibly paired with Mission Hill wines. Personalized welcome card for our anniversary and signed by the whole staff was really memorable. Well done team!

My husband , my sister and I all had such a beautiful experience at Mission Hill. From start to finish our server named Guy led with such class and poise! Very knowledgeable, friendly and polite service. Simon also popped in whenever he passed our table, topped up waters and overall we had a great conversation and vibe with both of them. We wish them both all the best in their future plans. The Mission Hill property is in top knotch shape and very picturesque. Looking forward to future visits here!
D R — Google review
We had an amazing time at the guided tasting tour! Simon gave us a fascinating tour of the winery, showing us the bell tower and the wine cellar, and we even got lucky enough to spot a little deer along the way. Kiran and another lovely staff member led our tasting session. Kiran was especially wonderful, patiently answering all of our questions—some of which were quite out-of-the-box—about red and white wines. As people who aren’t very familiar with wine, we gained so much enjoyment and interest from their explanations. Both Simon and Kiran were extremely well-mannered, friendly, and welcoming. Their passion and professionalism truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!
Artie L — Google review
I’ve visited several times this year, and I have to say—I was never a fan of Canadian wines… until Mission Hill. It’s an oasis in the desert. I’ve rarely encountered such sophisticated wines, and so consistently so. Even their most approachable bottles surpass many others around the world. Unlike so many wineries, Mission Hill’s pricing truly reflects quality: if the budget-friendly selections are sensational, the upper-tier bottles are nothing short of divine. During my first tasting, I was struck by the quiet depth of emotion these wines evoke for the wine romantic—a gentle stirring of memories, of great bottles shared with special people, of perfect pairings from years past. These beautiful wines are, in every sense, a treat for the soul.

Absolutely stunning winery. The architecture and design is grand. The interior store is warm and inviting - like walking into the living room on Christmas Day. Amazing energy. Shaylin walked us through a wine tasting and was 10/10.

Garden
Nature & Parks
Kasugai Gardens is a serene and traditional Japanese garden located behind City Hall in Kelowna. It represents the sister-city relationship with Kasugai and offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling downtown area. The garden features pathways, a footbridge, koi fish ponds, stone lanterns, and scenic sitting areas. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of cold-hardy bamboo trees and ornamental bridges while taking a leisurely stroll or finding tranquility on one of the many benches.
Tucked away behind Kelowna City Hall, Kasugai Gardens is a hidden gem that offers a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. This beautifully maintained Japanese-style garden features traditional elements like stone lanterns, pine trees, a tranquil waterfall, and a koi pond . The harmonious blend of nature and design creates a calming atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation and reflection. I was particularly impressed by the meticulous landscaping and the sense of tranquility that envelops you as you stroll through the pathways. It’s an ideal spot for a quiet lunch, meditation, or simply to appreciate the beauty of nature. Admission is free, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy . If you’re in downtown Kelowna and looking for a serene escape, I highly recommend visiting Kasugai Gardens. It’s a testament to the city’s connection with its sister city, Kasugai, Japan, and a beautiful example of cultural harmony.
Salim K — Google review
Nice tiny gardens in the middle of the city. You can bring your lunch and sit in the tranquil area. Good place to take photos.
Victor W — Google review
Beautiful gated Japanese garden, tucked away in downtown, amidst the parking lot on one side, buildings on the other and a bus stop and an intersection right in front. One can reclaim ones sanity from the humdrums of day today life by just being here for a brief five / ten minutes before you go back to your daily business. It’s small but cathartic; has rockery, a bridge over the water, waterfalls ( man made) beautifully flowering plants, shrubs and trees- all tamed and planted in the famous Japanese style. Four stars because the water could be cleaner and more maintained however the set up does not fail to uplift you
Priyanka G — Google review
Kasugai Gardens is a hidden gem in downtown Kelowna. This tranquil Japanese-style garden features koi ponds, stone lanterns, waterfalls, and lush greenery. Small but beautiful, it’s the perfect spot for a peaceful stroll, reflection, or a quiet break. Free entry, open seasonally.
Ifrat H — Google review
A relaxing garden downtown close to city hall. It's a small japanese garden. If you like to escape from hum and buzz of the city, this is a perfect place to relax.
Clarissa T — Google review
What a beautiful location right in the middle of the city! I am very jealous of those who get to enjoy their lunch breaks here. Happy we were able to see this on our trip:)
Amanda J — Google review
A peaceful little oasis right in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, sit by the pond, watch the koi fish, and just let your mind wander. Quiet, calm, and beautifully maintained — a true hidden gem.
Jake B — Google review
Very small Japanese garden that is well-maintained. We enjoyed our time here but I wouldn’t say it’s a must-see because of its size. Seems like a great place for city employees to relax and have lunch in (it’s behind a city building).

Nature & Parks
Knox Mountain Park in Kelowna, BC is a scenic destination offering diverse ecosystems and a range of activities such as beach swimming, mountain biking, and disc golf. The park also provides historical trails leading up picturesque hillsides and nature walks along wetlands with various bird species. Visitors can enjoy energetic trail loops that offer stunning views of Okanagan Lake.
Knox mountain park in Kelowna is a great place to take a nice hike, or bike, on a lovely, sunny day in the Okanagan. It’s the areas largest natural park. We would take friends and family here for a stroll in the rolling hill trails, with its switch backs winding up the mountain. It has a quaint, winding, wooden fences and steps to help you get to the top for spectacular views. You can see the city, lake Okanagan and the bridge that divides eastern and western Kelowna. There is also a wooden lookout tower that is a fun spot to take photos from. Take lots of water on a sunny day if you are going in the summer, as Kelowna can be scorching hot at times. A hat and sunglasses are a must! It is a moderate hike that kids can do for lovely views of the Okanagan. Dogs should be on leashes, but there is a dog park here as well. It’s open 6 am to 10 pm.
Kevin J — Google review
A great place for hikes and different levels of activity. You can mountain bike, hike straight up to the viewpoint, walk up a paved road or take trails that aren’t as steep. The different viewpoints of the lake and Kelowna are spectacular! Great photo ops!
Raquel M — Google review
Peaceful place for hiking. Walking and Bicycle both Hike are awesome. The view from the top of the mountain is just eye pleasing. It's worth climbing after reaching the till the peak. If take apex trail and then follow the ogopogo trail that's breathtaking experience. There are also washrooms 🚻 in middle of trails and dustbins are available in same way.
Smit P — Google review
A very beautiful hike, good for all skill levels. I am relatively new to hiking and tried the apex trail, it was a bit challenging, and the view at the summit is incredible! Highly recommend anyone living in Kelowna to do this hike.
Cash Q — Google review
Great view. It has an asphalt portion and rest is well kept trails that are suitable for biking and hiking. Good for short or long walks and you can choose the intensity of your walk by choosing different paths
Neisan S — Google review
Wonderful panoramic views! There are two points scenic points for pictures, the first one (below) it's easy to arrive but the second one (up) needs a hike of 30 minutes or bike cause the road for cars is closed. Our hike to the second point of view was really tired since that day was very hot (32 degrees) but worth it because the photos are incredible.
Carla C — Google review
A grind up but very doable and short. The trails down are a ton of fun. The switchbacks can be challenging but overall black diamond. Highly recommend to intermediate bikers looking for a downhill challenge. Lots of other trails to try out and is great to keep attempting the same trails. Never gets old.
David L — Google review
The view point is terrific. The vehicle was allowed till the first view point and after that had to trek to the other view points. The view of Kelowna city is amazing. Would love to visit there once more. Even though it was scorching hot, the breeze near the view points made it very cool. Gates close by 8pm. Would appreciate if the timings are extended during summer as this a very beautiful place to view sunset across the Okanagan Valley.

The Kelowna Farmers' and Crafters' Market is a bustling market open year-round, featuring a diverse selection of farm-fresh produce, locally made goods, and artisanal products. You can visit the market on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm until October. It's an excellent opportunity to connect with local producers and farmers while enjoying the freshest food options available.
Our first time visiting from Alberta and we were seriously impressed! The vibes at the Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market were awesome—such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Tons of great vendors with everything from handmade goods to fresh produce. Free parking nearby made it super easy, and there were lots of food options to keep everyone happy. We especially loved the coffee and kombucha vendors—definitely a standout! Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town.
Davin G — Google review
We were glad that we managed to squeeze a visit to this market before driving to Vancouver. There were many interesting stalls and would have really liked to have spent more time here. This market really showcased a lot of the local produced and the vegetables and fruits sold were so fresh. The stall owners were all so friendly as well.
Sharon T — Google review
Me and my wife visited the Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market and had a great time exploring the stalls. We picked up some farm-fresh berries for just $5, which were super sweet and delicious. Also bought homemade jams and some handcrafted jewellery – a bit on the expensive side, but you can really see the effort and quality behind the products. One tip: it’s always good to carry some cash, as not every vendor accepts cards. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to support local farmers and artisans. Totally recommend checking it out!
Nibin N — Google review
I don't understand why the farmer's market in Kelowna is expensive. When you go to other countries, farmers' markets without distribution systems are usually cheap, but there is nothing to buy here. Expensive vegetables, flowers, and bread.. I want to meet them at a more reasonable price.
Sunghee Y — Google review
Kelowna Farmers Market has lots of options and a lively atmosphere, but I missed the local pastries and home-baked goods. For more of a community feel, I prefer the Peachland Farmers Market
Parinad — Google review
The crafters market is open Wednesday and Saturday although Saturday is a bigger market. There are so many things to see and do at the market. There's food trucks, jewelry, plenty of art, bakery items and fresh fruit and veggies. Also there are flowers galore!!
Michael S — Google review
Love to come here, so many unique vendors all local. Lots of great stuff
Jenny L — Google review
This is definitely one of the “must go” items if you live or visit Kelowna. Since it moved to the new location at Landmarks area, it brought in more farmers and guests to spend together a great Saturday morning. Right now (October) is a great time to catch it up, just before the market will be moved indoor when it is getting too cold. Let’s go 😂

Quails' Gate Winery in West Kelowna offers tours, tastings, and lakefront accommodations along with a Pacific Northwest restaurant called Old Vines. The restaurant is renowned for its use of the freshest local ingredients, serving up new seasonal specialties regularly. Guests can also enjoy the popular long table dinners on Wednesdays throughout the summer, featuring a four-course dinner paired with Quails' Gate wines amidst the vineyard.
What a wonderful meal and location. We had three courses and a wonderful bottle of wine. We sat outside and were at first worried it would be a bit cold but the heaters were perfect and we were offered blankets also but didn’t need these! View was such a wonderful bonus and music and atmosphere was great. Food was absolutely amazing and our waitress Paige was just wonderful, she was so kind, friendly and attentive, making some wonderful choices/recommendations for us on the wine and dessert. We spoke at the table about how lovely she was! Thank you Paige and Quails gate for a fantastic evening!

We’re members and we came in for a tasting, yesterday. The tasting was lead by Amelia, and she was as outstanding! She had a bubbly and welcoming personality, she was super knowledgeable on her tasting notes and pairings and just delivered an all-in-all exceptional experience. Probably our favourite tasting we’ve had here yet. She also helped me find my new favourite red at the winery, the Queue!
JGowe — Google review
We came from Ontario and had the most amazing wine tasting at Quails’ Gate! The views were stunning and the wines incredible — but Tory made the whole experience unforgettable. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. If you visit, ask for Tory — she’s an absolute gem!
Cristina K — Google review
I was on a road trip with my small dog, so I deliberately sought out this winery because I heard here is dog-friendly. I was so pleased that I was allowed to hold my dog while doing a tasting and purchasing wine. I had been informed that dogs needed to be held while inside the building, so I was prepared with a cross-body dog carrier bag, which made it perfectly manageable. The staff member who guided us through the tasting was incredibly friendly and professional. Their kindness was a wonderful bonus. I would love to visit again next time I'm not the designated driver!
Roy Y — Google review
We celebrated our one-year anniversary here and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The view was absolutely breathtaking; truly unforgettable. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the wine paired beautifully with our meal. Everything about the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Such a special place, and we’ll always remember our night here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a beautiful atmosphere!

Quails' Gate Restaurant was an absolutely fantastic experience with incredible food. We went for dinner one evening and returned for lunch another day, both meals were outstanding. The duck, in particular, was unbelievably flavorful and cooked to perfection. Everything we tried from the happy hour lunch menu was also delicious, the salad and beef tartare were personal favorites. The setting and location are also stunning. We’ll definitely be back in the future :)
Sarah L — Google review
Outstanding Okanagan gem. One of the oldest wineries in BC, truly exceptional. Neil our host for our anniversary tasting was fantastic and charming. His depth of wine knowledge was brilliant. Beautiful setting, grounds and of course wines. Stewart Family reserve Chardonnay was top notch.
Stephen Z — Google review
Wonderful experience at Quails Gate. We had lunch at the restaurant (separate review), then a stroll in adjacent vineyard, followed by a reserve tasting. We were guided through the tasting by a delightful lady Valerie, who it turns out had much in common. She not only introduced the wines but shared extensive background on the history of the winery. The tasting began with a Pinot Gris. They were sold out of top rated Riesling, chenin blanc, and gerwurstraminer. We then had a Pinot noir, which had very aggressive tannins, unusual for a Pinot. Next came a Marshal Foch, a non-vinus-venifera, and was a little funky, without much finish. The final was the queue, a red blend made from grapes from elsewhere in BC. The tasting was on the deck backdropped by the beautiful lake, hills and vineyards.

The farm is home to diverse kangaroos, wallabies, emus, goats, sugar gliders, and other exotic animals. It offers an educational opportunity for visitors to learn about animal habitats, behaviors, and conservation efforts.
Make sure to save PLENTY of time to take it all in! We were on a tight schedule of the many things we wanted to do while in Kelowna from Alberta. But our greatest regret from the trip is not allowing more time at the kangaroo Farm. First of all, the amount of love, dignity and respect they show to the animals is why why the animals are also chill! It was a little bit pricey to get in for a family of six but worth every penny! Everyone from the adults to teenagers and toddler all had a wonderful time. They could have stayed there all day! But they do close at 3:00 p.m. so make sure that you keep that in mind. Most of the animal handlers were very friendly except for the bird guy.. he took his job a little too seriously. But once again care for the animal is their primary concern, which isn't the bad thing. All of the staff were knowledgeable and genuinely loved the animals. I think 4 hours would probably be a good amount of time to spend here. Just like most places, the snack stand is outrageously priced. But it's really nice that they supply little treats to feed the animals, for free. I know some zoos and such make you pay coins for treats. We had an absolute blast and would definitely go back!

My family and I had a great time exploring the park. There’s lots to see in the staff were super friendly. Some of the amenities could be worked on as as well as the cleanliness of the washrooms, I’m sure it’s a busy place but for the price they charge With concessions and entry, they should have people on duty making sure things are clean. It can get very hot there so I would recommend bringing something to keep you cool like an umbrella. Overall off on place to take company from out of town

It's a fun experience for the entire family. Being able to walk between the wallaroos and kangaroos is enchanting for all ages. The place is beautiful, lots of space for a picnic (although they do sell snacks and beverages). You really need to come during the low season and on a weekday. The place can get packed fast.

Came all the way here from Maple Ridge to see the kangeroos because it’s cheaper than flying to Australia. It was for my daughter’s birthday as she loves animals and especially kangeroos. We had a great time. The capybaras and the sugar glider were surprising fan-favourites. My kids (9, 10 & 16) all liked the rabbits and pigs too. We got bored around the two hour mark. The animals are pretty docile and pretty much just lie around. I hope they’re happy here. Although we can feed them they don’t really want to be fed (must be full). One pig had a tantrum at the end and got really loud. Coming here is something you must do once but probably would never come again. Some of the staff were great and others seemed a little harsh with kids. Prices are a little high but if it’s mostly going towards the animals’ care that’s fine.

I love kangaroo creek farm so much. I’ve been there many many times and I’ve never had a bad day there. They have local honey as well available for sale outside the grounds (also delicious). I love that you can interact with so many different species. They have capybara, kangaroos, bennetts wallabies, a Patagonian Mara, a porcupine, sugar gliders and more. This is one of my favourite places in the world. @katjaspov on Instagram for more of my favourite spots 🥰

I recently visited Kangaroo Creek Farm in Kelowna, and honestly, it’s such a fun and unique spot, especially if you have little kids. The farm gives you the chance to get up close with kangaroos, wallabies, capybaras, parrots, and even some exotic animals you don’t usually see in Canada. It’s hands-on, interactive, and way more personal than a traditional zoo experience. What makes it really special is how relaxed and welcoming the vibe is — the animals have space to roam, and you get the chance to feed and pet them at your own pace. The staff are super friendly too, always happy to answer questions and make sure the kids are having a great time. Tickets are about $20 per person, its about 1 hours trip. And they have shows at 11:30 and 1:30 every day i believe. I’d say it’s the kind of place where kids can learn, explore, and have fun all at once, and adults will definitely enjoy it too. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Kelowna, Kangaroo Creek Farm is definitely worth adding to your list — it’s one of those experiences you’ll remember for a long time.

A very lovely farm with lots of different animals to see! The kangaroos are super friendly and you can even pet them. It’s a perfect spot for a fun date or a family outing — very kid-friendly and relaxing overall.

We went to the Kangaroo Creek Farm in July and were so excited to see the animals. The farm was busy when we got there but parking was easy to find. It was a very hot day and we were worried the animals would be hiding or not around for us to see. Upon entering, we went to the capybara and sugar gliders. They were out, and although the heat made them lazy, we got to pet and hangout with them and even hold a sugar glider. The kids enjoyed the show we watched, which was quick and engaging. The bird exhibit was fun and they were all hanging out. The emu feeding was awesome and we enjoyed watching it interact with people. The kangaroos were pretty lazy and weren’t interested in eating our treats but we couldn’t blame them because it was +35. It was fun to see the babies and watch them be bottle fed. There was even a momma with one in its pouch, which was cool to see. The facilities were clean and we enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend to anyone going to Kelowna to check out the farm and hangout with the animals.

Waterfront Park is a charming city park located in Kelowna's city center, offering stunning views of Okanagan Lake and the surrounding landscape. The park features a picturesque boardwalk that stretches along the lake, providing an ideal setting for leisurely strolls and capturing Instagram-worthy moments, especially during autumn when the foliage turns vibrant shades of red and gold. Additionally, visitors can enjoy public art displays, beautifully landscaped gardens, and frequent outdoor performances at the park.
Small sand area, not too crowded. You can walk to the west Kelowna bridge via the harbour and park paths, about 40 minutes without rushing. Many restaurants and play options. The pathway is wide but be careful with bikes and skateboards as it is shared, kids need more attention walking both ways. Well maintained, there is a public water park and a large playground near the bridge, a roller skate area in the middle that converts to ice skating in winter, and a floating paid park in a section of the Okanagan lake. Beautiful natural landscape.

Really beautiful place to hang out. Especially in the warm evenings after dinner. Every time we are out there the waterfront park area is a visit. Really clean, really friendly and just a wonderful place. Highly recommend the area. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a really beautiful place, like a portrait. The roads and walkways are designed beautifully that you can enjoy the nature flawlessly. You can do lots of activities, like walking, biking, boating, etc. Swimming is not allowed in this area, I believe. You will be amazed after visiting this site. Parking is paid and sometimes hard to find a suitable spot.

Truly amazing place to explore. Lots of shops on the waterfront. Great places to grab a coffee and enjoy the views. Appears to have lots of entertainment going on. Beautiful flowers and we'll maintained gardens. You can rent water skis and if you feel like some adventure parasailing. Only down side, there is lots of homeless people wondering around. But never felt threaten or was harassed. There was an abundance of wild life to see. If you are in the area totally worth the trip. Grab a great local coffee and and enjoy the views.

The entire waterfront and park area is a great spot to visit. Plenty of green space to enjoy the sun and amazing water view as well. The water near this specific spot near the fountain stinks a little bit since it's probably not circulated or cleaned regularly. Plenty of cheap parking nearby, so that's a plus too.

The Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm is a 8 acre farm located outside of Kelowna, BC that offers visitors a chance to explore the property's beautiful gardens and harvest-grown products like essential oils, body butters and tea and syrup. The farm is open May 18th through October 12th, and offers guided tours or free access for anyone to wander at their own pace. All of the products sold at the farm are free of additives, fillers and artificial preservatives.
I’ve been using products from Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm for years, and they are my favourite for self care and to give as gifts (ask all my friends and family- my grandpa loves the lavender room spray and my mom carries the lip balm with her everywhere!) You can truly feel the care and quality in every product. Since they transitioned to an online store a few years ago, it’s been really easy to order—whether I’m having something shipped or picking it up locally. Everything always arrives quickly and is beautifully packaged. They are very responsive and Andrea is always happy to answer any questions I have about the products. I also really appreciate how thoughtful they are about the environment. Their commitment to sustainability—from how they grow and harvest to how they package and ship—makes supporting them feel even better. It’s clear this is a business rooted in passion, quality, and integrity.

I visited this place about 10 years ago. Back then, it wasn’t lavender season so I didn’t get to see the fields in full bloom, but I always remembered it and looked forward to coming back someday. This summer, I finally made the trip from Vancouver, driving over four hours and then getting stuck in traffic again in West Kelowna, just to visit this farm. When I arrived, I was shocked to find a sign at the gate saying it is no longer open to the public. There was no clear notice online or on Google Maps to let people know in advance. It was incredibly disappointing to come all this way only to turn around and head straight back into traffic. I really hope the farm can update their information online so that others don’t waste their time like I did. It is such a beautiful place and it’s a pity that visitors don’t even get the chance to enjoy it anymore.

My husband bought me Rose Hydrosol as a gift from Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm and it just arrived. First of all, the package was beautifully and carefully wrapped and packed in completely environmentally-friendly biodegradable packaging. Thank you for that. You can feel the care and attention that goes into their packaging. The first thing that hit us when we opened the package was the lovely scent of lavender from a small tied bundle of lavender on top of the box. A small gift of lip balm was also included, also in a biodegradable container. What a lovely surprise! The Rose Hydrosol is a high quality wonderful product. Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm has gained my trust! I will be ordering more products from them and telling all my friends about them. We are more than happy and proud to support this wonderful Canadian company. I highly recommend their Rose Hydrosol and I look forward to trying more of their products. Thank you, Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm! We appreciate everything you are doing.

Real eye catching place. The shop smelt amazing with them making essential oils right there. Lots of different products to try and very friendly staff. The garden tour is something special. So much to look at so dont be in a rush and take your time. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a perfect photo or photos for a special function in your life. Make sure to get a tag to add a wish to the wishing tree. Was enjoyable to read what others wrote and to see how far people have come. Great place to come with a group. Will be bringing friends and family next time.

A must visit while in the Okanagan. A little peace of of heaven. I absolutely loved this place, Jean our tour guide and also a gardener and ground keeper was phenomenal. I learned so much about the farm history, about types of lavender and other flowers and herbs and their medicinal and or culinary use. I had only gone to purchase a few items but when I learned there was a tour of the ground i didn’t think twice. well worth the small fee. A wonderful family business that have evolved and change since 1908. Definitely recommend it, bring extra $$ for all their amazing products. Rupy and the other clerks were so wonderful and also very knowledgeable about all the shops products, cannot wait to go home and start using everything!!!!

Boyce-Gyro Beach Park, also known as Gyro Beach by locals, is a popular lakefront recreation area in Kelowna. It's a great spot for families with amenities like swimming, playgrounds, and sand volleyball courts. The park faces west, offering stunning sunset views over the lake. Visitors can relax at the sandy beach or enjoy picnics under the shade of trees.
Boyce-Gyro Beach Park is a lively, busy beach in Kelowna, BC. It is set on Okanagan lake, and is extremely shallow, as it is only about waist deep. It’s a great spot to take kids and we met visiting friends and their kids here. There is a playground, and even zip lines on the sand and into the water. Shady trees and sand volleyball courts line the beach. There is a store and rentals for inflatables and water sports. Dogs on leashes are allowed. Parking is pay parking and as it is a very popular park in Kelowna, it can be hard to find an open spot. Lots of tourists here in the summer months, but it is quiet in the offseason, or come early. Lovely spot to watch the sun rise or set and walk along and enjoy the beautiful Kelowna weather.

Must visit this beach!! I love it! Visited from Vancouver for the 5th time in years and have absolutely adored it as always. Perfect place for swimming, the water is absolutely clear, clean, no rocks in the water to hurt your feet, only sand, and the water only comes to your waist even if you go way, way beyond the shoreline (literally went to the middle and could still touch the bottom with my feet). Perfect atmosphere, sand is very nice, grass area, picnic tables etc I just love swimming here!

So fun for kids lots of shed and zipline ofcourse (2 different types) . You can wash your feet and they have washrooms (so clean) . Clean water for swimming and clean sand for kids can play.

One of the busiest beaches in Kelowna. Paid parking and dog-friendly on the paths and grass if leashed. Beautiful sunsets and upgraded facilities (seasonal use). If you're visiting town, it's a nice place to visit. There's restaurants and drinks nearby and it looks like they built a beach soccer field. Don't forget to pick up after your pups.

Beautiful place in the morning but crowds up quick on a summer afternoon. Half the park is beach and half the park is nice grass Feild with sports courts and fields. Dogs are permitted only on the paved walkway between the beach and the grass. Not very pet friendly. Great place to spend on a hot summer day, good views down the lake. Good shopping across the street if you forget any essentials.

Beautiful beach and park. Great jungle gym for kids with mini zipping, over sand and into the water. Rentable chairs with umbrella dor a 15$ charge for 4 hours. Nice bathrooms, juice vendor. The water goes out for ages, not deep. Gorgeous view, shoppers drugmart just up the street if you forget your sunscreen. I suggest getting to the beach early and get your spot 8:00 amish if you can it fills up quickly. Popular tourist spot.

It's perfect! There are a lot of things to do here. They offered different activities for kids and adults. They have kids park, small zip line, rental boats, paddles, etc. We can stay on the shade under the big trees sorrounding the whole area. The comfort room is clean, well, because we are quite early there, but it really gets crowded as the time passed by. But that's understandable we just need to distance ourselves to others.
Rhea D — Google review
Nice large beach minutes south of downtown Kelowna. Pay parking is available and a bit small but we always managed to get a space. Sanded or grassed areas to sit. Public washrooms, sand-rinsing taps, picnic tables are available. There is a concession shaped like an apple which sells chips, ice creams and drinks. Ample playground structures for kids to enjoy, including 2 ziplines - one over water and one over the sand. Water is shallow for a long distance in from the shoreline so good for young kids and non-swimmers. Really lovely, tidy and well-appointed beach.

Kelowna Art Gallery is a must-visit for art enthusiasts, offering a diverse collection of historical and contemporary Canadian art. With over 700 donated works in its permanent collection and regularly updated displays, the gallery provides an enriching experience for visitors. Additionally, the Cultural District boasts 21 pieces of public art and houses the Okanagan Wine & Orchard Museum in the historic Laurel Packinghouse. Visitors can embark on self-guided tours or join free tours during the summer to explore this vibrant artistic hub.
Kelowna Art gallery is beautifully organized. It is not as big compared to one in Vancouver or Calgary. Everyone is very friendly and welcomes with a smile. We went for the nut cracker ballet. 10/10

What a beautiful experience. My family was here for the viewing of sculptures made entirely of Lego by artist Ekow Nimako...Simply spectacular! We also just so happen to be there to see very impressive artwork by some very talented high school students. Small museum, great exhibits and very accommodating staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience 🙏🏽

This gallery (really a contemporary art museum) always has thought provoking, fun and unique exhibits. You may not like everything you see, but that's art! The current exhibition includes large-scale sculptures built only with black Legos, inspired by a 14th century sea voyage of 2000 ships from west Africa. It's definitely worth a visit.

I stopped in last week since the Kelowna Art Gallery is free on Thursdays and I was really excited to check it out. One exhibit was being redone, so keep that in mind if you visit. The artwork that was there was beautiful, but I was surprised by how small the gallery actually is. The building itself is large, but it seems like a lot of the space is taken up by offices rather than exhibits. Because of that, it felt a bit underwhelming, especially considering how many incredible artists there are in Canada. I couldn’t help but think the space could be used much more effectively. Honestly, I would have been disappointed if I had paid for admission, particularly since larger cities offer much bigger galleries and more variety. I used to live in a small town with a small art gallery, and even that space seemed to make better use of what it had. Overall, the pieces were lovely, but the gallery itself just felt like it could have offered so much more.

We had such a fun time at Scandia in Kelowna! We played mini golf and really enjoyed the arcade, but the highlight for us was definitely the go-karts. The track was exciting, and it felt safe but still full of adrenaline. The whole place is well-maintained, with lots of games and activities for all ages, so there’s never a dull moment. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. A perfect spot for family fun or hanging out with friends—we’ll definitely be back!

Scandia has been around since I was a child. They definitely need to upgrade their outdoor mini golf, still a few of the pars were not in working order and that should have been discounted from the price. A few of the machines were not working in the arcade and no signage was posted. They had a great selection of different arcade games and the landscaping was up-kept which was nice to see.

I remember coming here as a kid (so many years ago...) They done a good job maintaining the place. We really enjoyed the outdoor golf course.
Mark S — Google review
Don’t bother. This place is a loud, obnoxious, waste of money. Most machines are $3/play - which is outrageous, and you can spend $100 and not even walk out with a dollar store prize, and a crying kid. Just take them to a store and buy them something nice instead :)
Nicole M — Google review
Pretty fun games and the go kart and mini golf were a good value. Cafeteria was woefully stocked however. Frozen treat freezer was completely empty and only had popcorn available for hot food. Was told that they were out of a lot because of the long weekend. (I came in the Thursday after, so that seems a little odd that NO orders came in the three days after the long weekend). Place was also pretty understaffed it seemed. No one was working the cafeteria counter and took us 5 min to track down someone. No stanchions off any sort meant that there was no clear line up for indoor mini golf / prizes / cafe. Overall we had a good time, but the organization of the place seems pretty lacking. Even the go karts seemed really rushed. Not one bit of instruction given, just got in the kart and good luck if you’ve never driven before. (They did come and check the harnesses before letting us loose).

The city really needs to do a better job of cleaning their beaches. This is a main beach downtown Kelowna and the sand was full or garbage from cigarette butts to food waste. The bathrooms were generally clean. Considering they charge for parking, they should be combing the sand and cleaning designated areas for people. It was also u fortunate to see alot of people with theirs dogs off leash and not picking up after them.

Myra Canyon Trail, also known as Myra Canyon Trestles, is a popular hiking trail located 25km from downtown Kelowna. The suggested route is an 8km return trip with no elevation gain, making it very easy and suitable for pedestrians and mountain bikers. The trail features 18 wooden trestle bridges and offers stunning views of the canyon.
This is such a great spot for walking and cycling. Our young kids did it no problem. Careful with the drive up the logging road, it is a bit rough. You can do as much or as little as you like, out and back. The bridges, tunnels, and interpretive signs are awesome. Views are fantastic.

Great trail for walking or biking. We chose the walk. The trail itself is much longer and you can choose how far you want to walk/ride. It took us 16 km in less than 4 hours, including a stop for a snack. There are two toilets and two storm shelters along the route. The road goes through a gorge, bridges and through the forest. It is good to have sunscreen and a baseball cap on a sunny day. Perfect flat trail for trip with children or pets

Visiting Myra Canyon was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Kelowna! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking — the views of the Okanagan Valley from the trestle bridges are something you really have to see in person. Photos don’t do it justice. I walked along part of the trail and was amazed at how well maintained it is. It’s wide, flat, and easy to navigate, so it’s perfect whether you’re biking or just taking a leisurely walk. The trestle bridges and tunnels are incredible to see up close, and there’s so much history behind them. I loved stopping to read the little info boards along the way — it gives you a sense of how much effort went into preserving this spot. What I appreciated most is that you don’t need to be an extreme hiker to enjoy it. The trail is very family-friendly and you can go at your own pace, whether you want to do the full stretch or just a portion. The air feels so fresh up there, and it’s so peaceful — a nice escape from the busy city. I’d recommend bringing some water, snacks, and of course your camera because you’ll want to capture those views. If you’re visiting Kelowna, this is definitely a must-do activity. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and has that perfect mix of nature and history. I’ll 100% be going back, maybe next time with a bike to cover more of the trail!

This trail is the most beautiful location I’ve ever biked (and I’ve done many!). The path is very well taken care of, making it accessible to all levels and the landscape is gorgeous. We went in October and the weather was perfect! It was 2C yet there were some paths covered in soft ice. It felt like a mix of all seasons in one a piece of heaven!

We bike a lot and this is one of the best bike trails we've ever done. Very scenic, mostly flat - easy for kids too. Would recommend doing this in fall - look at the colours and no crowds. There is a bike rental at the parking lot - not sure about the hours of operation. It's in a little higher altitude so get dressed for the weather (last time in Kelowna was 20 Celsius and up there only 14). Loved it! Biked on Oct 7, 2025

The Myra Canyon Trail is absolutely mesmerizing — stunning views, historic trestle bridges, and a unique outdoor experience. A must-do if you’re in Kelowna. The full trail is about 12 km one way (24 km round trip). It’s flat since it was built on old railway tracks, so biking is the most practical and popular option. Families and casual riders can complete it in about 40 minutes one way. Walking is possible, but keep in mind 24 km is a lot — most walkers choose a shorter section just to enjoy the bridges and views without committing to the entire length. Tips: Bike rentals are available in the parking, right at the trail entrance. Renting a bike is easy but book in advance, especially tandems (hard to get). Rentals start around $50; e-bikes are available. Opens at 9 AM and 1 PM; mornings are best as it gets busy. Bikes are geared and well-maintained. Washrooms available on the trail. About 23 km from Kelowna downtown; last 8 km is gravel road, winding and uphill, so drive carefully. Bottom line: Perfect for bikers, worth it even for walkers who just want to explore a few trestles and soak in the breathtaking canyon views.

Absolutely beautiful bike ride took us about 2 hours roundtrip. We parked at the Ruth station entrance to start at trestle 1. Lots of parking there since most people go to the other entrance however the drive up is quite something. Lots of sharp corners and gravel road not in the best condition but should be fine with most SUVs and pickups. The trail is stunning and super easy on bikes since it's so flat. Right after trestle 18 you get a beautiful view of Kelowna.

Downtown Kelowna is a charming area boasting a variety of dining options, craft breweries, and retail stores. Just a short stroll from Waterfront Park, visitors can savor local microbrews on outdoor patios while taking in the picturesque surroundings of brick buildings and vibrant streets.
A Must-Visit Gem in British Columbia! Downtown Kelowna is truly a slice of heaven nestled between the lake and mountains — bursting with vibrant colors, lively energy, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit memorable. In summer, the entire area transforms into a beautiful and bustling hub, flicked with tourists from all over Canada and the world. 🌍✈️ What I love the most is the walkable waterfront, the scenic parks, and the friendly, artsy vibe that flows through every street. From art galleries and local shops to live performers and festivals, there’s always something happening. Downtown is a food lover’s paradise! You’ll find a fantastic range of restaurants serving everything from gourmet meals to casual eats. The cozy cafes are perfect for morning coffee with a view, and the ice cream parlours (especially on a sunny day) are a true delight — loved by kids and adults alike. 🍦☕🍽️ Whether you’re exploring the boardwalk, enjoying a patio lunch, shopping local, or simply soaking in the lakeside beauty, Downtown Kelowna is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for tourists, locals, families, couples — everyone! Come for the views, stay for the vibes! 💛🌞⛰️

It’s been years since we walked downtown. It was the long weekend so of course it’s going to be busy, even for April. I love seeing all the entertainment, and walking by the water. A bonus for April is that the tulips are in bloom!

My dad & stepmom visited from Europe (Switzerland) a couple days ago. They're staying at the Royal Anne Hotel right on Bernard, the location is mint! The homeless population is becoming more than a problem, it's straight up pandemonium. Our downtown core is nothing like what it used to be like which is incredibly sad and unfortunate. The construction and expansion is absolutely out of hand as well, I heard the earth/foundation down at the lake level is nowhere near strong enough to hold all the current buildings & skyscrapers as well as all the others they plan to build in the future?

Kelowna Downtown is a gorgeous place with a nice breeze blowing, perfect for sightseeing. It’s a great spot to watch the sunset and relax in the garden. You can also enjoy riding electric bikes around the area. The atmosphere is lively with music, delicious food, and a fun environment. Everything about this place was truly amazing – a great spot to unwind and enjoy the day.

Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna is a unique winery that stands out due to its iconic pyramid structure. The owners have conducted studies on the effects of geometry on liquids, leading them to build a striking white pyramid. For over 20 years, barrels of wine have been stored inside the pyramid, with blind taste tests revealing that wines aged within it for up to three months exhibit improved aroma and smoothness compared to those aged outside.
We recently visited Summerhill Pyramid Winery and while the experience started with a long wait, it was well worth it in the end. The winery was very busy, even though it wasn’t peak hours be prepared to wait if you are coming for a tasting, as it takes time to serve each party 4–5 glasses and give proper attention to the wine storytelling. Since the indoor tasting area was packed, we were redirected to the gazebo tasting room outside, which had a lovely setting. Still, we had to wait about 30 minutes as 2–3 groups were ahead of us. When it was finally our turn, we were served by the manager, Daniel (if I recall the name right), and he was absolutely fantastic. Despite being pulled in every direction, Daniel remained calm, warm, and engaging. He didn’t rush us at all he explained each wine thoughtfully, poured generously, and made the whole experience enjoyable and educational. He also didn’t pressure us to make any purchases, which we appreciated. In the end, we left with several bottles and a box of wine, including a few delicious ice wines. The wait was long, but the customer service and quality of wine made it worth it. Pro tip: If you’re planning a visit, try to arrive early in the day or on a weekday to avoid the peak crowd

There is a beautiful view, a large parking lot. There is a restaurant and a shop where wine is sold, there is a very beautiful interior and polite staff. But the prices seem too high to me. Although there were a lot of people, several buses with tourists from Asia.

Mix feelings about this one. Definitely one of the best views in town. The food was good but quite expensive. Unfortunately, as it is a winery, the wines did not impress me. Located only a few minutes from downtown Kelowna, you'll find a huge, heated terrace overlooking lake Okanagan, perfect to watch the sunset. You cannot beat that. Inside decor is... a tad weird. Not sure what is going on with all the sculptures and pyramid references? We started with a wine tasting. They know their product but, except for their version of a champagne, I did not find anything of interest. The food was a redemption, I must say. Our server was sweet, and we had overall a great night. It is just so expensive for what it is. I guess you pay for the views? I've been told it's a very popular place, but we went on a Friday, and we were maybe nine people total, and our group counted for six. Oh well.
Katerine G — Google review
This place offers great views and good photo ops while you visit this winery. Famous for its pyramid cellar, they offer a broad selection of whites, reds, sparklings, and ice wines. They can offer you a tasting of their product free of charge provided you buy a bottle. Additional wine tasting options and a winery tour is optional by reservations.
Charlie C — Google review
Me and my family wanted to stop by to have a taste of wine. We were enjoying the view and how nice the place was. Unfortunately, we felt horribly mistreated by the man working at the tasting room. We wanted to have a taste before buying, so we asked what’s something he recommends and what their best selling wine was. We waited for his reply, however, it seems though he was ignoring us on purpose and acted like we weren’t there. A few minutes go by and we see him giving out wine to two ladies who just came by dressed gracefully. I’m not assuming but it felt as if it had to do with the way we look. I hate to be look down upon especially when it comes to customer services like these. Customers should be valued and treated equally, it’s basically called human decency.

This was my very first wine tasting experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. The host was extremely knowledgeable, cheerful, and engaging throughout the tasting. She not only provided excellent service but also shared educational information in a way that was easy to understand and enjoyable to learn. Her energy and professionalism made the experience both fun and memorable. I left feeling not only impressed by the wines but also grateful for the outstanding service. Highly recommend!

Bear Creek Provincial Park, situated on the shores of Okanagan Lake just 11 kilometers north of Kelowna, is a popular destination for camping and outdoor activities in the Okanagan Valley. Spanning 178 hectares, the park offers a campground with amenities suitable for both RV and tent campers, as well as over five kilometers of picturesque forest and canyon trails. With 400 meters of beachfront along the lake, visitors can enjoy swimming and other daytime pursuits.
A wonderful place to walk in all seasons. The trail is very well maintained. You can see the waterfalls from the top in summer, spring and fall. However in winter you can walk on the creek between the canyon and go to the base of the waterfall. I should add that it is not very safe to do so. Because you are walking on a thin ice on a creek so be very careful and use hiking poles to ensure the next step is safe when you are hiking to the waterfall. I usually see lots of kids and dogs on this trail so it is family friendly. There is also washrooms in the parking lot plus a map. Overall I really recommend to try this hike in winter. It was magical

Bear Creek Provincial Park in west Kelowna, BC is has beautiful hiking trails for scenic views of Okanagan Lake. The hike is tough though and steep and it can be pretty rough on a smoking hot day, like when our family did it. There are shaded areas deeper into the forest though, but take lots of water on a hot day. There is a lovely creek with cold, clear water and great views of Okanagan lake from the top. A big canyon cuts through the mountains as well. The park has campgrounds and sand beaches. A nice place to hike and enjoy nature. We also saw a huge, eagles nest in a tree and there are some areas burnt from forest fires.

We’ve been a few times and really like this campground. It has a beautiful beach and nice open field area. Last years trip was cancelled due to the fire. I just took a quick look at the hiking trails in my recent trip to Kelowna. Unfortunately, that side of the park was closed and presumably burned out. The photos are from the road. It was such a nice hike.

Good. Bathrooms and showers and sites were clean and taken care of. They drove around in golf carts. Bad There is no trail as noted on the map. The bushes are all overgrown. Barely any beach. No dog beach. Bird poop on the beach. There were people hogging the beach by leaving all their chairs, etc. there the whole week .
Diane K — Google review
Very decent hike for the mediocre hiker. I enjoyed the mixed of stairs and the slopes. I would not recommend with little kids as there is very steep trails are there. I enjoyed a lot being first time on this trail. I would also recommend going with hike buddy to support each other in case of emergencies.
TRP — Google review
Great hiking trail, it is quite the climb to start, but nothing too bad. Once you get to the creek there are spots to go in and chill out, once you're you're ready to keep going you'll cross a bridge over the creek and from that point on there is no more water so I'd recommend soaking your shirt before you cross the bridge since the rest of the hike you're pretty exposed to the sun.

A diamond in the rough just off Westlake road in west Kelowna . . This provincial park delivers at all levels. Great clean sandy beach , well maintained. Large and small RV spots along with great tenting spots . Great spot for a day trip as well for all your lake needs, paddle boarding, kayaking. Swimming etc Staff are super courteous and helpful . Check it out 🤙
ScottF — Google review
This is not for the camping area, this is for the hiking trail across the road! Nice workout to start whether you do the stairs along the path to the right (approx. 147 of them) or if you head up the path to the left. Trail is a circle, with side paths to get you to view points and down to the water. The viewpoints on the north side of the canyon are better to see the waterfalls. Nice views of downtown Kelowna, the bridge and the lake from a bench on the south side of the canyon. In winter wear ice grips for traction, the far end of the canyon is shaded and can be very icy. Parking is available at the base and can be busy in the summer. There is toilet near the parking. Parking is closed off in the winter but you can park on the road on the lake side, just be mindful of the no parking signs and avoid that area. If you are unsteady on your feet or have difficulty walking, be careful as there is loose rock and gravel throughout and a couple sets of awkward stairs. This trail is an easy walk, up the stairs or up the hill will get your heart pumping but the rest is fairly flat.

Great location and YMCA. One of the best water parks I’ve been to ever: from huge slides, a lazy river, a surf simulator, a family and an adult hot tub, a sauna… Lots to do in one place! The gym upstairs has brand new equipment too.
Raza S — Google review
Hey friends, H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre, funded by our taxes, is a massive letdown. On Mother’s Day yesterday, my friend filmed a selfie in a quiet corner, with no one behind her, not using a mirror. The gym was almost empty—I have a photo to prove it! Staff Jocelyn stopped her, claiming “Someone might pass by.” My friend instantly stopped filming and politely asked for the rules, but Jocelyn offered no clear policy, used offensive language, and threatened to kick her out and cancel her membership. A year ago I had a similar experience, my nearly 10-year-old daughter was stretching with me when a staff ordered us out, scaring her to tears with no comfort, even banning her from resting at the entrance. She’s too afraid to exercise now. We’ve stopped going to avoid threats. Kelowna taxpayers deserve better! Staff need training and clear rules.

Nice pool with different features/areas for kids and adults to use. We spent about 3 hours here in the lazy river, wave pool, and hot tub. I found the pools to be relatively clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. But, some pathways and floors were pretty dirty and either seemed to be overlooked. I'm glad that I wore flipflops to get from pool to pool as the corners of the steps looked like a film had grown over some areas. Additionally, the drinking fountain near the adults only hot tub at the top of the stairs had a brown film growing inside of it and was clogged. There were some pool toys for the kids, but many of them were busted and/or torn with a limited selection. The change rooms could use more private changing rooms and those private changing rooms could also have been a bit cleaner. The drop-in/payment at the counter was pretty lengthy and they didn't have many staff members working at the front to get people into the facility. We were second in line and still waited about 10 minutes before we could pay to enter. More of a 3.5/5 than a 4.
Boris K — Google review
It’s pretty nice for a community pool but stars are knocked off because the change rooms are absolutely DISGUSTING. We were in and out of them over a course of a few hours and never saw anyone cleaning them. They honestly look like no one has cleaned them in a week. I’ve never seen so much hair on a floor in my life. Long black strands plugging all the drains. And gobs of spit!!! My kids, who normally don’t care about getting dirty, were totally grossed out. Also we went through a dollar in change before we found a locker that worked. Last complaint is the front admissions, which I saw other remarks about too: sooo sloooow. Not sure why it took 15 minutes for a few people to pay for a drop-in. Otherwise, the Flowrider is a unique thing my kids liked. Three slides (one was closed). Disappointed that you have to be 13 to jump off the higher diving board. Water was cold. I guess I wasn’t done complaining. I personally wouldn’t come back but my little kids probably would. Not my teen though. He was bored pretty fast.
Tara A — Google review
Really nice water park with lots to do. Few things I didn't know and you should be aware of is that some activities close one hour before closing time, like big slides. Also you need your ID to go to the water park. We missed the slides because we didn't know that. You need to be 42" to use to slides.

We love dealing with Craig for our 2 properties and always have positive feedback. Craig also has taken care of landscaping and extra items at Kelowna BMW. Craig is super fair, fast, reliable and friendly. Quality of work at all three places is excellent and he checks up to make sure you understand and are happy with the job. We had a huge elm problem at work that Craig has completely taken care of and they don’t grow back. Absolutely amazing as nobody could get that done for us.

Old Vines Restaurant @ Quails' Gate Winery offers a contemporary Pacific Northwest dining experience with panoramic views of the vineyard. The restaurant prides itself on ethical farm-to-table dining, serving specially-paired vintage wines and seasonal vegetables grown on-site. They also prioritize sustainability by sourcing seafood from responsible suppliers. Dining at Old Vines provides a unique opportunity to appreciate the connection between food and its origins in a beautiful setting.
Celebrated my birthday at Old Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate Winery, and it was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the views over the vineyard and Okanagan Lake set the tone—absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The food was incredible. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor—we especially loved the duck, the fresh local produce, and of course, the wine pairings. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. What made the night even more special was the service. The staff were attentive, kind, and made me feel genuinely celebrated, even bringing out a surprise birthday dessert. Whether you're a local or visiting the Okanagan, Old Vines is the perfect place for a special occasion. Great wine, amazing food, and one of the most beautiful dining settings anywhere.

The restaurant at Quails Gate is set in a beautiful setting with amazing views. Service was very friendly, although there may have been a lack of communication from the host to the server, as no one came to greet/take our order for a long time.. until one server found us and looked shocked that no one came to help us after being seated. Our waiter was awesome though.
Christine — Google review
The restaurant located on the winery is exquisite. One can eat indoors or on a deck outdoors with fire pits to stay warm in the cooler fall days. We opted for indoors. The restaurant has a wall of windows looking out over the vineyard or beyond. The menu has suggested pairings with each item - which we went with, and the pairings worked very well. The octopus appetizer was beautiful and delicious, positioned atop a red pepper with fried chickpeas humus. The mushroom risotto was very tasty, although not so taken with the accompanying picked mushrooms. The saffron apple and burrita appetizer sounded nice, but was a little disappointing in terms of presentation, and had no wow. The tuna tataki with aeoli sauce, Japanese vegetable salad was tasty - a highlight was crispy, crunchy sushi rice. The service was professional throughout.

Excellent long lunch here last week - very good food & lovely relaxed atmosphere sitting outside. Only slight negative is sometimes the wine pairings took a while to arrive with each course so we were nearly finished with our meal before we got to try the wine paired with each course, but it was all good.

"Outrageously" haute cuisine. A special dinner celebration for a starving palate. From appetizers to desserts, this place exceeded our expectations. Heavenly, fresh, gourmandizing, flavorful, savory, exquisite and mouth-watering food. I felt like I was back home in Europe walking down memory lane. Instead we were minutes away from home, yet in a place where the surroundings made one feel like you just stepped into Paradise. The ambiance was warm cozy and unwinding from a long day was instant. Our dishes were vibrant, creatively presented, bursting of freshness with unique flavors, simply a delight for any gourmet food enthusiast. Our server Frederic was very attentive without being overbearing. This was more than just a meal and evening out for dinner, it was an elegant memorable experience.

I take my friends and family who are visiting Kelowna for a wine tasting at CedarCreek every time, and it never disappoints. The view from the Aspect house is unbeatable, and the experience you get is above and beyond. Not to mention the wines and food pairings (for the food paired tasting) are absolutely perfect. I’ve gone a couple times and had Doug do my group’s tasting, and he’s so knowledgeable and makes the experience so enjoyable. Highly recommend a visit and tasting here!

The view was 5* and so was our wonderful waitress Emily H, who is funny and knowledgeable. In fact, all the servers were really nice. The venue is attractive but there isn’t much convenient parking, and the food is okay, but over-engineered. I’ve had better food at cheaper places.
Deborah C — Google review
Visited after having lunch at another winery and wanted something light to go with the wine. We ordered the cheese platter and sticky toffee pudding. The cheese paired beautifully with the wine, and the sticky toffee pudding was exactly what I was craving—absolutely delicious! A great spot to enjoy wine with just the right bites on the side.

We visited this winery while traveling from Vancouver, hoping for something special. We managed to get a reservation, but the overall vibe wasn’t that unique. The patio was extremely hot and uncomfortable to sit in for long. We did a tasting of 5 wines — they weren’t terrible, but definitely nothing amazing. All wines were from 2022 to 2025, so quite young and not very complex. The tasting platter for two was $20, but honestly very small and not worth it. In the end, we bought one bottle of rosé from 2024 for $52. There weren’t many better options — most wines were overpriced for what they were. Honestly, if you skip this winery, you’re not missing out on anything special.

Had the most delicious lunch at CedarCreek. We had the 2 course dining menu with wine pairing and everything was so yum. The best buratta we’ve ever had! The views from our table were beautiful and the staff were all super friendly. Would definitely recommend
Chloe S — Google review
End-to-end fantastic. Tasty cocktails, great 3 course meal with wine pairings, excellent service from Matt and Joel (both Ontario guys) finished off with dessert and coffee on the deck. Can we go back tomorrow!
Donna F — Google review
If you didn’t arrive by 6 you won’t be able to sit down and enjoy the tasting. Then you will pay 15 for two estate wine tastings. Definitely not the best value around so would recommend making the reservation before coming. Great architecture and view though. Would love to come back one day.

This was my first time visiting a Kelowna winery, and CedarCreek has set the bar sky-high for any future visits. The property is absolutely stunning, the service was exceptional, and the three course wine-paired dinner at Home Block was unforgettable. From the Italian burrata starter to the famous sticky toffee pudding. Stunning views, incredible food, and a truly memorable experience. Thank you.

Beautifully well maintained open parkland with many paths. Lovely for walking in the summer and winter. Always respect the signs.

Great place. Lots of trails . Beautiful clean peaceful creek lots of trees. Benches, picnic tables. Great playground for kids. Washroom. Lots of parking. We took the turtle pond trail. Partial shady path. Nice walk to the pond about 10-15 minutes.

Love coming here with the kids. Great for if they need to burn off energy at the park or even going for a long hike through the Greenway and trails is relaxing. You can also see some really cool wildlife if you aren't too loud

Congratulation goes again to the city of Kelowna in maintaining intake this unique gigantic park. Trails with no end and a little pound deep inside the forest where painted turtles sun bathe. Play area for kids and amenities by the large parking lot with plenty of reserved stalls for people with disability. It is stunning. It flows well where people come to get fit and play
Martino V — Google review
Awesome short hike with the fresh snow this morning. Definitely needed spikes as many icy areas. Beautiful kids fishing pond and easy to loop around the park with only a few small hills.
Sarah B — Google review
The park is filled with walking and pedal biking trails. Plus it has a magnificent play area for kids. There are a few picnic tables and benches here and there to have a picnic, to sit and people watch, there is a lot of dog walking. A little hike and you can reach the turtle & frog pond. There is swings, and a rope climbing structure for the bigger kids to climb. The is a river that runs threw the park for the salmon run and we’re the salmon lay there eggs. The washrooms are very clean and maintained. It really is a beautiful park.
Cindy S — Google review
Nice park with decent swings for kids ranging from the age of 3 years to 12 years. There is a flat walking trail there that is really good and can be rated as a beginner level hike( very easy and wide trail where you can ride the strollers with small kids). This spot is in the middle of 14 kilometre trail, so you can park you car here and walk either east or west to reach the start or end of the trail.
Salman H — Google review
Well kept park and trail. Great for walking, running or biking. Once you get out of the more child friendly area and up towards Hollywood South and the bike skills park, there isn't much shade. Bring a hat. Purple still pan for gold along the river.

Located in Downtown Kelowna, Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery is a renowned establishment that has been crafting award-winning spirits for over 15 years. Using locally grown fruits and grains, they produce more than 30 internationally acclaimed spirits, including vodka, gin, whiskey, and liqueurs like Raspberry Liqueur. The distillery offers a walk-in tasting room near Okanagan Lake where visitors can learn about the art of craft distilling while enjoying farm-to-flask spirits.
Booked a tasting and had an amazing time. Learnt about the history of the distillery and the varied products they produce. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Seems more of a family business were staff are passionate about the products they are making. Tried some very tasty products. If you like gin, whisky’s and other spirits or just want to learn about a cool Canadian distiller I would highly recommend booking a tasting.

Had a great time with our distiller/bartender Kyle today at Okanagan Spirits. Had the opportunity to taste some great whiskey’s and my wife had a refreshing spring blossom. Always enjoy trying new local tastes when we travel and this little gem in Kelowna didn’t disappoint. If you enjoys Spirits I highly recommend a visit.
Mark H — Google review
There are certain places that feel more discovered than visited. Tucked behind quiet doors and whispers of juniper and oak, Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery doesn’t shout. It doesn’t need to. It waits, like a well-dressed secret, ready to turn the afternoon into something worth writing about. You step in. There’s a knowing glint in the eye of the staff—equal parts alchemists, storytellers, and proud conspirators in the noble art of distillation. They bring you a whisky flight, and you nod with the quiet seriousness of a traveler who has read every chapter on Scotland and still wants more. But this? This is British Columbia at its most deliciously defiant. The Single Malt—ah, the Single Malt. It drinks like a fireside confession: soft smoke, a whisper of spice, a note of caramel that vanishes just as your mind tries to catch it. Perfection in a dram. Then came Absinthe—green, elusive, a touch dangerous. The tasting was like stepping into a Toulouse-Lautrec painting… and maybe out the other side. Herbaceous, layered, and far too civilized for its scandalous reputation. And yet, it was the unapologetic charm of their 1.75L BRBN Bourbon-Style Whisky that won my heart. A bottle so commanding it practically came with a front porch and a rocking chair. I didn’t resist. I couldn’t. My only wish? That their gift box selection was as abundant as their imagination. Because something this good should be easier to wrap up and give away—though you’ll never want to. Recommendation: One flight, one green fairy, and one oversized bottle of courage.
Christian A — Google review
This place is awesome for gifts and to kill an hour with boozey fun tastings/cocktails! Derek was really knowledgeable and made me want to buy everything! Going back tomorrow with a friend for another tasting!

This place was just amazing. First off they had dog treats outside the door for our girls as we walked in. Then when we were in we were greeted by two amazing and friendly guys. We do a tasting and Troy was super awesome and very knowledgeable. The gins and whiskeys were great. My only disappointment was in myself that I haven’t been to them sooner. Definitely recommend. Will be the first stop for us next time we go back to Kelowna

We had an amazing experience tasting things and drinking cocktails. Riley was our bartender. His knowledge and personality made the whole experience even better!! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys spirits and cocktails and fun.

Wow, wife just came back from BC and although she couldn’t find these in the store she had them shipped to me. Staff was nice enough to include a custom note, LOL. I’ve drank a lot of Bourbon in my life. More than I care to admit. I’ve also been to most of the distilleries in Tennessee and Kentucky. Today though I am beaming with Canadian Pride having tasted these two whiskies. Damn they are good. Really good. BRBN: Smooth, creamy. Slight smokiness. Los of caramel. Very easily my new daily drinker. BLK BRBN: for 52% ABV it’s very smooth. Sweet, Vanilla. Butterscotch. Oak. Just amazing. As good as or even better than any of the big hitters out of the US. I’m thinking Rabbit Hole, Angels Envy etc etc. You’ve really outdone yourself. Just amazing. Thank you so much.

Lauren was a breath of fresh air, from beginning to end. She was accommodating of our group’s needs (we had a baby and a wheelchair), the cellar tasting was quaint, educational, reasonably priced and informative. The wine and service was EXCEPTIONAL. Overall, very impressed with the experience and would absolutely recommend anyone to go! And have I mentioned Lauren? FABULOUS. Added bonus: Friday was happy hour and had live music.

We recently tried out happy hour with the live music on Friday nights. Such a great venue and atmosphere. We had some bites and enjoyed some wine tasting. We will be going back for sure - Sara was working and she added to our enjoyment answering different questions wine and winery related and engaging in general conversation ~ she made it the 5 star.

Dropped in with a couple of friends to try a few wines and ended up staying for over 1.5 hours. Alex was charming and full of excellent information and graciously accommodated my friend's preferences. The wine was fantastic (we left with 13 bottles among us) and the space is lovely. Highly recommend!

Came for a tasting with my wife and 2 small children along with friends who also had small children. We were served by a lovely lady named Lauren who was absolutely spectacular. Nestled in the heart of British Columbia's Okanagan region, the Okanagan Heritage Museum is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts and curious travelers alike. This captivating museum takes you on a journey through time, showcasing an array of exhibits that highlight the area's rich past—from ancient tools and fossils to artifacts from early European settlers and Indigenous cultures. The interactive displays make learning about local wildlife and historical events engaging for visitors of all ages.
Really cool with heavy focus on the local indigenous (Syilx/Okanagan) way of life and repercussions of colonialism. The School Life Special exhibit was awesome and lovely to experience! Made me want to see the Sncewips Museum but tragically it’s too far out of my way this visit!
Clio — Google review
I visited this museum using the Canoo app, expecting it to be free — but the entry was $8. The museum is very small and the entire visit takes only a short time. Parking is paid and extremely difficult to find, especially on holidays. Even though there were only about five people inside, the parking lot was completely full. Honestly, if I hadn’t gotten it for free, I wouldn’t have felt it was worth it. The exhibits are limited and not very engaging for adults. It might be more appealing to kids, but not something I’d return to. Overall, not a must-visit — just okay if you’re nearby and it’s free.
Eva Z — Google review
the lady at the front was really nice. i thought the little creatures (the taxidermy animals) were super epic sauce. 9/10 it was cool wish the dinosaur exhibit had more things to look at. i would go again.

I recommend this place to bring your family for exploring history behind the formation of Okanagan Valley. Well, They have ancient windows of few retail stores and house at display, all are presenting in a great way. But, I was little shocked to see those birds and animals being used to display as a showpiece.
Gur K — Google review
The most comprehensive museum for everything about the Okanagan's history and environment. Great variety of exhibits from different cultures and locations, spanning thousands of years. An absolute must visit. Give yourself at least 1.5 hours to see everything.
Xiao L — Google review
Having visited many large and well curated museums around the world, I found this to be a mighty little gem in Kelowna. Interesting artifacts. There's even a stuffed grizzly bear! On a more sombre note, the acknowledgement of both indigenous reconciliation and the history of racial displacement in Kelowna and the Okanagan (an important part of its history) was front and centre and something I wholly appreciated. I happened to make it in time for the travelling exhibit on the Japanese dispossession during and after World War II. It was a sobering, but much needed storytelling of the Japanese-Canadian experience (especially from the coast/lower mainland) throughout and past internment because of the war. A great little museum and worth a visit. I spent 2.5 hours on both the main and special exhibits (but I read every single placard in the museum). You probably only need 45 minutes to an hour if you just look at the artifacts and skim the placards.
Yvonne C — Google review
Very well done museum, featuring many areas of the natural world, history, indigenous matters, local culture and industries. Great panoramic photos comparing 1912 to present day. (Reduced opening days in the off-season.)

Cedar Creek Park is a true gem in Kelowna, especially for dog lovers and their furry companions. This expansive waterfront park features an inviting off-leash pebble beach where your pup can frolic freely while you relax on the sandy shores. With picturesque views of Okanagan Lake and the majestic mountains surrounding it, this spot is perfect for capturing those unforgettable moments of your dog splashing in the water or running joyfully across open fields.
Cedar Creek Park in Kelowna is an absolute gem! I visited in December, and the views were simply breathtaking. The serene beauty of the Okanagan Lake, with its calm, sparkling waters, paired perfectly with the stunning snow-capped mountains in the background. It felt like a picture-perfect winter wonderland! The park is peaceful and well-maintained, making it a great spot to relax, take in nature, and enjoy the crisp winter air. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or a place to soak in the natural beauty of Kelowna, this park has it all. I highly recommend visiting Cedar Creek Park, especially during winter. It’s a truly magical place that showcases the best of what the Okanagan has to offer.
Salim K — Google review
Cedar Creek Park in the Upper Mission area of Kelowna is a great place to walk, hike or take your dog for a stroll. It has the biggest off-leash dog park in Kelowna and people come here so their dogs can jump in lake Okanagan. The trail down to the water is a bit steep and the walking trail isn’t that long, as there is a dock on one end and a boat launch on the other. Even if you don’t have a dog, it’s a nice place for a short walk. There are even picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy the water. The dogs and their walkers are friendly and it’s a nice place to enjoy the beauty of Kelowna.
Kevin J — Google review
New favourite dog park in Canada. Our pooch enjoyed the beach front! The storeline is small slippery stones but it's still enjoyable to swim! There are spaces out picnic tables and a few are shaded. Great off leash beach for all to enjoy. Everyone we met was friendly. Will definitely return next trip to Kelowna!
Kyle R — Google review
Took me a minute to find a dog friendly park that was on the lake. Loads of upon run green space at the top to the right of the parking area and friendly and easy to navigate mini switch back trails down to the water with benches and shaded seating so your furbabies can play in the lake and have shade on those scorching summer daya
Ronald J — Google review
Lots of seating around here, some great views around and across the lake. Beautiful place. Plus there is a off leash dog park with lots of friendly people. If you are ever sad I'm sure you could go and a friendly pup or two would come over to be friends and play. I can't see anything wrong with that. Go and have some fun!
Russell M — Google review
This park is soo worth the drive down lake shore from anywhere in Kelowna! With the beautiful multi purpose field to the newly renovated pathways and stairs it's like Disneyland for dogs and people alike! Took a visiting girlfriend a few weeks back and we were in awe of the beauty this time of year! Well done city of Kelowna!

This is ultimately one of the best dog beaches in Kelowna. The beach is clean and water is close and accessible to the picnic table. Our dog just jumped right and had a blast.

Must love dogs! A great beach for dogs to run and play off-leash, swim or drink from the lake. Not a great place for bikes, or runners, or to lie at the beach, as it is very rocky. Not a place to picnic as dogs do what dogs do, including table dancing.

Hiking Trails
Nestled in the serene forest setting of South Kelowna, Crawford Falls offers a short yet steep hike with trail options leading to two scenic waterfalls. The first waterfall, Crawford Falls, not only captivates with its visual appeal but also provides an opportunity for visitors to cool off and take a dip. For more adventurous explorers, there's the option to scale small rocky cliffs via ropes and continue on to Canyon Falls.
This place is closed to the public and is risky but if you have been there before you can still enter at your own risk, you should exercise to proceed with caution, I took my kids with my husband several times and it requires safety measures to ensure that no one falls or slips. The waterfall is beautiful but rocky at the bottom so be sure to either wear shoes if you are not experienced in swimming over sharp rocks, beautiful spot for everyone, just remember safety first
Elly A — Google review
Steep, fairly challenging trail. Technically closed for maintenance. A small amount of rock scrambling/climbing involved. Absolutely beautiful, refreshing and worth it. Best to go mid day for sun exposure in the canyon.
James D — Google review
Crawford Falls is a hidden gem for anyone who enjoys a short but adventurous hike. The trail is about 2 km round trip and takes you down into a canyon along Bellevue Creek. There are two waterfalls here — the lower one is smaller, and the upper one is taller and more dramatic. The path is steep in sections, with ropes and railings to help, so sturdy shoes are a must. Parking is available near the trailhead, but it’s limited and can get busy on weekends. No restrooms or facilities, so plan ahead. It’s not the easiest hike, but the reward of standing at the base of the falls makes it worth the effort
Haniyeh G — Google review
Amazing! However it is closed due to low maintenance. Therefore it is not maintained the trail is steep. It does have a few spots you need to be VERY careful. Expierenced hikers only & because it is not maintained it takes a bit longer to hike. If you have small children I would NOT recommend this trail or hike. 7+ and like I said NOT MAINTAINED so use at your own risk. It is gorgeous and allot of fun 😁
Samira T — Google review
Sadly wasn’t able to get down to the falls due to the snow. The stairs down to the falls are closed so you have to off road it down steep unmanned mountain edge. It’s definitely doable but wear good hiking boots but wouldn’t recommend going with young kids. Was able to stand at the top of the second falls but couldn’t see any viable route to get down. Beautiful views of the mountains though so would still recommend parking up.
Jessica M — Google review
I went to Crawford Falls in a Monday. Sadly most of the walls where closed and normally you couldn’t even reach a place where you can see the falls good. But I went down anyway and got a nice view and a good feeling for the power of the water that is running down there. At the moment (mid may) it was a lot of water coming from the mountains.
Benjamin B — Google review
10 out of 10 would recommend! This hike I pretty tough but my 11 year old son was able to do with me. It gets pretty steep but it is a short hike to the falls. Definitely wear hiking boots or really good trail shoes
Jess S — Google review
The trail is technically closed, but can be easily accessed by sidestepping the wooden fence on the left side. Wear appropriate footwear, as some portions of the trail can be difficult to negotiate at times. The top of the falls can be reached via a steep walking path or by climbing the rocks to the left of the waterfall, although there is a posting stating not to do so

Visitors can rent boats at locations like The Cove Lakeside Resort or Downtown Marina for a day on the lake. It's an amazing place if You bring lots of money to blow. The beaches are great and lake ave beach was dog friendly and probably one of the nicer ones for dog parents. Perfect for families and couples NOT wanting to leave our beautiful country. Lots of drug addicts and homelessness but that comes with any city these days because of our weak Liberal government

Kelowna is a beautiful city filled with natural charm — there are plenty of parks, beaches, and outdoor activities to enjoy. Whether you’re walking along the lake, relaxing on the beach, or exploring local trails, it’s definitely a place worth visiting. One of the highlights nearby is Knox Mountain. There’s free parking, and you can hike up to the first viewpoint for stunning views of the lake and the city. There’s also a trail leading to Paul’s tomb, which adds a bit of adventure for those who enjoy hiking and exploring nature. Just note: Knox Mountain Park is open seasonally during the summer and usually closes by 8 p.m., so plan your trip accordingly. Another beautiful spot is Bertram Creek Regional Park, located along the lake. It’s a peaceful place for walking, picnicking, or just enjoying the views. It’s clean, quiet, and surrounded by natural beauty — a perfect place to unwind. Overall, Kelowna and the surrounding area offer an amazing mix of lake views, mountain trails, and relaxing parks. Kelowna Golf & Country Club is a popular destination for golf enthusiasts, offering more than just a well-maintained course. The club provides power cart rentals and has a beautiful clubhouse that can host large parties and events. With its 100-year history, it's an iconic spot in Kelowna. The staff is known for their excellent service, and the on-site restaurant offers amazing food.
We had our wedding at the Okanagan Golf Club this June and it was a wonderful experience. Karin, Taylor, and the entire OGC were so amazing throughout the entire process and on the day. Extremely impressed with the experience and would highly recommend the venue to anyone planning a wedding!

Old style golf course which is fun to play. Great shape ad challenging but not overly hard. Nice patio and food. Don't take Amex.

Was there for a brunch with a ladies group. The service was very poor. Bartender was not organized, out of ingredients, her bar was not set up. The coffee station was out of mugs and tea, only 1 kind of tea. The brunch was atrocious. Restaurant bucket eggs, not fresh, bland cubed deep fried potatoes, heated from frozen french toast and waffles with no flavour, no real syrup, dregs of berry topping in the bottom.of a pan,, they ran out of eggs, holding up the food line, a small plate of melons, no toast, no cheese, no muffins, no fresh berries, Dirty sticky salt and pepper shakers on the table. Cost $33. Will never recommend nor return.

Kelowna, BC is a charming destination with a rich historical and natural appeal. One of its highlights is the Mission Creek Greenway Regional Park, a 36-hectare park corridor featuring main and side trails, picnic areas, and opportunities to learn about the local ecosystem. The greenway stretches along 16.5 kilometers of level walking and cycling trails following the salmon-bearing Mission Creek from Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club to Okanagan Lake.
One of our favorite places to go for a walk. So peaceful and tranquil … hard to believe it’s in the middle of the city!!
Alina S — Google review
Great little hike in the city. You can bike on the trail. It’s a nice hike by the mission creek. Probably around 1.5 h to go to the very end of the trail. I think end of the trail was closed due to flooding in the past. People on the trail were saying they saw some bears, so keep your eyes open 😊

I am unfortunately not from Kelowna however wish I was. Great effort has very apparently been made to make every corners of the city enjoyable (except Harvey on rush hour and the lack of turn left arrow at street lights). What a great little pathway along a creek. Clean, flat and wide. When the fall colors come, the whole path is a colorful corridor. It was a great find i didn't know existed and will become a frequent stop. In case someone running the place reads this, I went with my daughter that uses a modified for trails wheelchair and her tires were flat. The little mount by the parking lot that has a tire pump, well the pump doesn't work at all. Perhaps worth fixing

Nestled in the heart of Kelowna's countryside, this provincial park is a breathtaking sight and a hidden gem for all those seeking an unforgettable adventure.
Darcie M — Google review
Well maintained paths most of the way. The north side path (closer to road entrances) is good for bikes and goes the entire length. If you cross the bridge to the south, the path ends part way in some areas and becomes more rocky, better for walking/hiking. It can get a little muddy after rainy days and after the snow melts. Definitely recommend for casual bike rides in the Fall to see the foliage. Probably need strong mosquito protection closer to the summer months. I hope to explore the entire length (Canyon to Lakeshore) at some point this year. There's Creekside Pub at the end of the greenway if you need a beer stop.

Great place for the salmon run! Beautiful location and fantastic playground!! Unfortunately I can only give it 2 stars though as both myself and my 2 year old got eaten alive by tiny black flies that draw blood with every bite! We are new to the area and had no clue about this! Our short visit resulted in 50 bites on my neck alone (my husband counted) and about 20 on his. Sadly for this reason, we won’t be back.
Stacie G — Google review
Great easy path, nice and wide for most of the way, even saw some turtles! You can make it a long hike or short, whatever suits you. Lots of bikers on the trails but they were so wide it was still comfortable for everyone

Nestled in the picturesque Myra Canyon just a short drive from Kelowna, Myra Canyon Adventure Park offers an array of thrilling activities for visitors of all ages. From rope climbing courses and zip lines to team-building games and specialized physical activities, the park provides endless entertainment. Families can also take advantage of on-site amenities such as BBQs, firepits, and picnic tables for a well-deserved break between adventures.
Awesome experience taking our 12 & 15 year old nephew/niece there for the afternoon! We did the “big kid” high rope adventure course and zip lines. There are 6 different courses to choose from, some very challenging but all do-able! Definitely make time for the zip lines. We spent 3 hours there but it could have been more! Options to buy a few snacks, but I’d recommend packing something. There are places to have a picnic and eat. Washrooms too. There was a chance of rain/thunderstorm when we went and they said they would possibly have to close the course, but luckily they did not as the clouds stayed away. So, check the weather before you go. Owner and staff was very nice, albeit a little lax on safety (these were their words— referring to other staff that didn’t know/enforce some safety rules). Nonetheless it was a great day! Would recommend and return!

Overall was a great experience, I wanted to be challenged with the different difficulties they had for courses. Felt like a full body workout but in the most fun way! Had to mentally push myself through the fear, which I thought was cool :). Amazing views of the mountains and the valley, stopped a couple times during courses to take some pictures. Only rated it 4/5 because I thought the zipline part would be more than just 3 short lines. Learned then that this place is definitely obstacle course dominant. Would highly recommend for a good mental booster and workout :).

I took my hiking buddy here on the 8th of August, (did this 6 years ago) we did a lot of adventures but this was another level of adventure for her, she had a blast. What I can recommend is bring gloves to protect your hands from blisters, there's a lot of obstacles, unfortunately 5 were closed cause the tree died but they did put more zip lining to enjoy. Staff were friendly and nice, we had a blast. We wil come back again next year. (From Alberta)

We attended the Scare Walk for Halloween and let me tell you I have never been so scared in my life!!! It was the best Halloween experience I had, I actually felt like I was in a horror movie….and I don’t get scared easily! The props were great, the walk through the forest was long, and the live actors did a great job scaring the 💩 out of us!
Shab F — Google review
This trail was terrifying! My friend and I screamed the whole way. The staff were incredibly helpful; besides scaring us, they were also very kind and gave us directions. The path was a bit dark, but perfect for Halloween. One of the staff members told us that this haunted park is the scariest in Kelowna. I totally agree! 😂 You definitely have to come here for a unique Halloween experience! 🎃
Sunny — Google review
This place is all about outdoor adventure in the trees. The park has high ropes courses, climbing routes, and zip lines that range from kid-friendly to pretty challenging, so it works well for families or groups with mixed ages. Staff are friendly and safety-focused, which helps if you’re new to this kind of activity. Parking is available on-site and usually straightforward, though it can get busy in peak summer. There aren’t hiking trails or camping here—it’s more of a half-day activity spot rather than a full park experience. No big amenities like washrooms beyond the basics, so plan accordingly. The views of the surrounding canyon are a nice bonus, and it’s close enough to combine with a visit to the Myra Canyon Trestles if you want a full day out.

There’s so much to say about this winery! The wines are great, leave you wanting more as well as the fun stories that come with each bottle. Let’s not forget the art and how it jumps out at you Carlota conducted our tasting and she was fantastic, very knowledgeable & answered all our questions. This is the most interesting winery I’ve been. We came for a full experience of wine tasting, icy wine and 3D tour. I felt going for a wine tasting in art gallery! Monique, our wine server in the wine tasting bar, was very cheerful happy host. Wynn, the owner, also came say hi and explained everything about ice wine. We got lucky to taste it and that is legit a sip of desert. We had a lot of fun and were well hosted.

A special shoutout to Grace, who helped us, she was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole tasting experience even more enjoyable. The winery has a really cool vibe, especially with the unique 3D artwork on display—definitely a highlight and you can tell a lot of creativity and effort went into it. The space itself was visually interesting and worth checking out. That said, the wine didn’t quite meet our expectations, especially compared to other wineries we’ve visited in the area. They do charge for the tasting, which is totally fair, but we’ve had more memorable wine experiences elsewhere where tastings were complimentary. Still, if you’re into art and want a different kind of winery stop, it’s worth a visit.

My daughter and I walked in, and wow. This was our first time and we must have looked a wee bit lost, but Crystal welcomed us as gave us a quick "menu-tour" and we stepped aside to decide. A lively, invigorating, dynamic, vibrant ambience. Amazing tasty, yummy, fresh food. The House Caesar Salad was the best I have had in many years. Little Hobo Soup & Sandwich Shop – A Kelowna Classic! Tucked right in the heart of downtown Kelowna, Little Hobo feels like stepping back into a simpler, warmer time. The décor has that perfectly old-school charm — the kind that tells you this place has stories, laughter, and a lot of soup behind it (since 1975!). Every meal comes with those little touches that make you smile — a handful of chips, a slice of fruit, a glass of water waiting for you before you even ask. It’s not fancy, it’s familiar — and that’s the magic. Their soups are the real stars — original recipes that taste like home in a bowl. You can tell they’ve been doing this for decades, and there’s a reason locals keep coming back. It’s the kind of place where everyone seems to know each other’s names, or at least their usual order. If you’re ever downtown and craving comfort, warmth, and a dose of old-fashioned hospitality, Little Hobo Soup & Sandwich Shop is exactly where you should be.

This is a classic lunch stop in Kelowna. Crystal and her team are fantastic. She remembers my name and I go months without seeing her. They have alternating soups of the day. They also offer soup flights. She usually serves 4 types of soup and a sandwich feature and a lunch special. I love the veggie sandwich. She also has a lot of options for dietary restrictions and many gluten free options. It’s a nice warm place to feel important and have the most delicious lunch. Be sure to try her classic hobo soup. You can also purchase large format soups to go that are frozen to be enjoyed at home. Great value and comfort food!

Rainy day in Kelowna. Craved some soup and sandwich. Happened upon this place and so glad we did. This place has heart and you can tell from the moment you walk in. I was very happy to see all the veggie options. Ordered myself the most delicious borscht. The Avacado lettuce tomato sandwich was simple and refreshing. There truly is not enough banger soup and sandwich cafes like this in the world. So glad this place exists and so glad I stopped here. Will have to make it a regular thing now when I’m in town!

We’ve been going to the Bohemian for breakfast for years (every time we visit Kelowna) and for good reason! It feels like a true Kelowna establishment. Great food and good portions, awesome service, and the most relaxed atmosphere. And their patio is super dog-friendly for the warmer months! We ordered the Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast, and the Cinnamon Bun - all delicious. They also make a mean Caesar (extra spicy!) and the grapefruit mimosa was a generous pour. Definitely a fun + casual spot to check out on your next visit!

We ordered Ham and Croissant, and corned beef hash, which were lovely and delicious. The ham and croissant tastes different from those at other places we’ve tried. The corned beef had a smoky taste that I liked. The vibe and decoration are fantastic, and the staff are nice and friendly.

What a great place for breakfast, among the best we've had anywhere. From the friendly service to the good quality food at a fair price point there is very little to fault here. Those pancakes and French toast were amazing!

Food is always fantastic! When visiting Kelowna we always look forward to the Boho breakfast. Eggs always cooked to request, hollandaise is fresh made and we always get a side of their strawberry jam for toast. Cherry Hill coffee brewed to perfection and a delicious London fog that's well balanced. They do grill their toast, so sometimes the corners are a little too dark for my liking but if that's the only thing that needs improvement they're doing an amazing job. Service has always been friendly and prompt.
Meliquoi — Google review
Three of us for breakfast. We sat outside...I would have preferred inside due to the busy road put front. GF options like no English muffin if I chose the Bennie, no toast with the basic breakie, I was directed to the huevos rancheros but it was served w/o tortillas chips ( flour). Service was friendly and upbeat... especially the hostess.
Eva P — Google review
I'm not sure why we keep coming back here. It's really not that good. The service is better than the Kelowna average ( a low bar ) but the food is presented and tastes like the it was put together with a half effort. The eggs are always cooked to perfection, so I'm pretty sure it's not the cooks abilities that are to blame. It's more likely the owners who have made things this way. It feels like the 50% effort is written into the protocol as the owners trust that people will keep coming back because it's "the Boh".

Quite the trendy gem of a pub style restaurant! Excellent drinks, food and service! Try all the happy hour menu items, will not be disappointed. Nice place with arcades to play and also they were more games. My kids loved it. There is kids meal and soft ice cream. My chicken burger is ok. I want a plain one, it was written on the receipt but they still put pickles in it. So 4 star from for being inattentive.
Delightfully G — Google review
The Caesar drink was the bare minimum but I thought they would be better, it was very watered down. The chicken wings fell off the bone but were so dry they were hard to eat. The Caesar salad wasn’t a Caesar at all, with random soggy apples and brussels sprouts tossed in and no real Caesar dressing flavor. Caesar salad should have a Caesar salad dressing and not chipotle. The bao buns were hands down the worst I’ve ever had the mustard seeds, crusty pork belly, and odd seasoning combo were pretty bad couldn’t even finish it. This place seriously needs to rethink its recipes. I promise I don’t always leave bad reviews but food was bad. Service was great though and clean big bathrooms.

We had a spectacular experience at BNA while visiting from Vancouver. We started off with the Monday night bowling special during happy hour and had a blast! Service was quick, the atmosphere was fun vibes, and the truffle fries were bomb! We then moved down to the restaurant for dinner where our great experience continued. The food and drinks were delicious and felt we got amazing quality for the value. Everyone in the group raved about their meals, the guava sour was an absolute hit, and I highly recommend the fried chicken dinner - it was divine! Overall, fantastic spot for a fun night out with friends.

Would like to see more gluten free options. I miss the tuna rice appetizer they had last summer! They were accommodating to allow me to see the larger full menu in case there was a gf item I wanted to order due to the lack of choices on their “small busy night” menu. We had the truffle fries, a gf pizza and the Filipino rice to share. It was amazing! The server was very friendly and very kind but items from the bar were very slow to come out. There seemed to be an issue with other staff not knowing if they were supposed to come to our table or the ladies next to us when bringing out items from the kitchen.

Nestled along the stunning shores of Okanagan Lake, St. Hubertus & Oak Bay Estate Winery is a charming family-operated gem in Kelowna, BC. Established in 1928, this winery has a rich heritage and a commitment to sustainable farming practices that have been in place since the 1980s.
I really liked that the aromas and flavors of the wine can be perceived so clearly, the quality impressed me a lot, an incredible experience in this small vineyard, the staff definitely knows their product and the attention was memorable.

St.Hubertus has always been one of my favourite vineyards in the Kelowna area. I was shocked when I found out they were currently not open. I hope things turn around for them because they made/make amazing wines. I was thrilled when I found their wines at the airport wine store. Next time I’m in Kelowna I’ll look for them at other wine stores.

Beautiful estate and winery. This is my second time at this winery and I made sure to purchase the late harvest Riesling which I didn’t buy the first time I was here. Prices are affordable compared to other wineries, and they have a good offering of both red and white, with dry to sweet options. You’re able to go and roam around in the vineyard at your own leisure.

A small but wonderful winery. Staff knew their wines and were very approachable and friendly. Wines were reasonably priced and they waived the tasting fee with a bottle purchase. The Rose was our favorite! Highly recommend. Beautiful sloped vineyard and they let you walk around and take pictures and read the signages for different Grapes.
Sylvia Y — Google review
It took me a while to figure out the origin of the name. I learned my lesson with Summerhill to research a winery before finalizing a review, and so far, St. Hubertus & Oak Bay Estate Winery does not subscribe to mysticism, pagan rituals, or geomancy in order to inflate prices. I assume no goats were sacrificed to secure a plentiful harvest (I'm not flippant, have you checked Summerhill’s website). However, this still created an issue involving the name. I mean St. Hubertus & Oak Bay Estate Winery is a mouthful. I may need to compress that, but do I call it St. Hubertus or do I call it Oak Bay? Hmm…I’ll just call it…Steve. Wineries often hang names over their individual wine fields. Occasionally, those names can be found on the bottles to distinguish them, while also still falling under the umbrella of the parent winery. With Steve, they didn’t do that. They own two vineyards, St. Hubertus and Oak Bay. It was not a merger, just two guys that own two fields. They didn’t create—or at least didn’t appear to create—a parent name. So, it just became St. Hubertus & Oak Bay Estate Winery. Or Steve. Steve is not a large winery despite seeing their products everywhere, mostly with Oak Bay. In fact, I keep calling it Oak Bay because that was the only brand I knew. I had never seen a St. Hubertus bottle anywhere. I have owned Oak Bay before and still own a 2014 Foch, but have never seen anything from the other half. Oak Bay has always been a reliable winery, but it’s a shame St. Hubertus had been denied to me until now, especially given their bottles are very attractive. St. Hubertus appears more focused on white wines, while Oak Bay centers mostly on red. Obviously, it makes sense if they’re named after the vineyards, especially if you ever played the Viticulture board game. I’m not joking; there really is a Viticulture board game. I own it. The winery itself is modest, more suited to those seen in Naramata, small family-run operations. There’s a small road, taking a slight left to the wine shop. The tasting room is nestled around back and is on the small side. Considering the name recognition, I was expecting something bigger, though my girlfriend and I enjoyed the selection of novelties. There was an oversized cork-shaped cooler made of cork. There were other items worthy of mention but at the end of the day, all that’s required to know is that there was an oversized cork-shaped cooler made of cork. Months later, when trying to remember highlights of that short trip, one of the distinct memories emblazoned in my mind is that there was a for sale an oversized cork-shaped cooler made of cork. I said that three times and still call the winery Steve. The host at Steve was knowledgeable and funny. Tasting flights cost $4, which is, of course, refundable upon purchase. Steve is another good reason to leave your expectations at the door. The wineries I enjoy the most are the modest ones; you could almost call them humble. I walked out with wine, so they must have done something right.

The Okanagan Wine and Orchard Museum is a popular attraction in the area, showcasing the history of winemaking in Kelowna and featuring exhibits related to regional agriculture. Visitors can explore artifacts such as cherry-pitting machinery and live beehives, offering an interactive experience for both adults and children. The museum is located within the Cultural District, alongside other attractions like public art installations and the historic Laurel Packinghouse.
Great source of history and information regarding the fruit and wine industry of the Okanagan valley! It covers not just making wines and harvesting fruit but includes packaging, storage and transportation, and farming issues like bees and pollination. Chandra at the desk was also really helpful!

Great museum documenting the history of wines and orchards of the Okanagan. Was very quiet when we visited, it's inside the amazing old Lauren Packing House which is a sight in itself. Staff was helpful.

Two large rooms about the fruit industry and wine industry, showing equipment used in the past, old labels and interesting facts and history. Donation box. The museum building (former packing-house) includes a large space for events.

Nice museum to spend an hour learning about Okanagan wine and agriculture.

Great museum. Downtown sited in an old Apple Warehouse. Great displays on Apple processing and wine making in the Okanagan valley. Would be a great place for a cider exhibit!

Got here on a Sunday and realized they were closed (my bad). Instead, there was an awesome holistic market (bought many items). The museum looked lovely though.

Changed too much. When it was smaller and just about apple orchards set up was better with lots more fun things to see and learn. There were things to buy at a reasonable price. I bought my apple peeler there years ago. Info about wine is good.

The preservation and remodelling of the old Laurel building enhances this gem of restoration... alone worth the visit ... and a terrific events location! Get an idea of Kelowna's growing history of fruit, tobacco, and grapes through the records, old equipment and photographic displays.

Gallagher's Canyon Golf Club is a challenging course located above Kelowna, surrounded by orchards and vineyards. The layout, designed by Bill Robinson, features fairways that wind up, down, and across the landscape. The club offers modern accommodations just a short distance away. It also provides amenities such as a driving range and a junior golf club with stunning views from the course.
Incredible staff super helpful and kind. Nice range amazing golf course. Pace of play was great! Only downside no cart girl/at the turn the food/drink shack was closed. Other than that 👌👌👌
Ahmed M — Google review
I golf often and have never experienced this level of disregard for players on the course. From the start of the round, we were dealing with constant mower noise and active course maintenance — not just in the distance, but right next to us while teeing off. This wasn’t an isolated incident either — it happened on more than 10 holes. At no point did the grounds crew pause or show even the most basic golf etiquette. It was loud, distracting, and showed a complete lack of respect for the game and the players. I fully understand that maintenance needs to happen, but there’s a proper way to do it — and this wasn’t it. A course of this caliber should know better. It completely ruined what should’ve been an enjoyable round.

Ruthanne and her team at Gallagher's Canyon Golf Club were amazing for our event. They were very responsive to email and accomdating for a graduation event. They had excellent service and the buffet had good selection and tasted great. Would highly recommened for events

Great course overlooking Kelowna. Staff and amenities are excellent. Would rate the course a 7/10 difficulty. Green fees are on the high side at $175 and there’s some sizeable burnt areas due to the hot Kelowna sun, but greens are in excellent condition and rest of the course is well manicured.
Tyler D — Google review
** addendum** Peter Hopley, General Manager, has quickly rectified the situation. In the future, I would hope the pro shop staff would have better communication and goodwill towards guests. Thank you. ************ Course is generally in good condition, especially early season. Golf shop was unaccommodating to the fact that I had booked two times as a reciprocal GolfBC member and had guests come play. Proceeded to charge my guests full price despite the fact I had called beforehand and was reassured that a member guest rate was available. I had email confirmation that both times were booked by myself (a GolfBC course member). Quite disappointing and definitely a poor guest relations impression. Doubt my guests would ever return to the course.
Jim H — Google review
I went golfing here for the first time and the staff in the pro shop were quite rude. The course was extremely backed up to the point that it was no longer fun so we asked for a rain check for the back 9. We were met with attitude when we asked. I’ve played nice courses all over and have never had this kind of experience. I will not be back unless it’s to see Paul (he is amazing)!

Soma Craft Cidery is a must-visit spot in Kelowna, offering a delightful experience for visitors. Located on a beautiful farm in East Kelowna, the cidery provides an opportunity to explore the orchards and enjoy picking fresh fruits like apples, cherries, and peaches. Guests can also savor the unique ciders made with local, all-natural ingredients while taking in stunning views of Okanagan Lake.
Soma Craft Cidery – A Hidden Gem with Flavor, Fun, and Fluffy Friends Our visit to Soma Craft Cidery was a highlight of our honeymoon—truly a one-of-a-kind experience blending nature, craft cider, and farm charm. My wife did the tasting, and the lineup included: 🍎 Apple Cider 🍯 Honey Lavender Cider 🍇 Bumble Berry Cider 🧊 Hard Iced Tea Cider Her absolute favorite was the Bumble Berry Cider—a bright, juicy burst of flavor that tasted just like fresh berries in a glass. The classic Apple Cider was a close runner-up with its crisp, clean taste. We brought a small bottle of the Bumble Berry Cider back to our B&B and I finally got to try it that evening—my wife was right. It was incredible. Refreshing, flavorful, and almost too easy to sip—like berry juice with a subtle kick! Beyond the ciders, the experience was made even more memorable by the setting. We got to meet and feed the adorable alpacas on site—seriously fun, curious, and surprisingly gentle creatures. Wandering the peaceful grounds, spotting wildlife, and even finding a painted piano tucked in the woods added a touch of magic to it all. The staff were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the visit feel personal. We didn’t try the lounge food this time, but it’s at the top of our list for next time. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the Kelowna area—whether you're a cider lover, animal lover, or just looking for a unique and relaxing stop in nature.

FALLin’ for Soma Craft Cidery! 🍂🍏🏆 After a fun filled morning of cornmaze, pumpkin picking and a donkey visiting hayride at McMillan Farms - Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch it’s time for EPIC cider. It is boutique hotel, classy restaurant and grounded in nature… 13 beautiful acres, paradise-inspired grounds and chic architecture brings small-batch cider, luxury sleep and delicious Italian cuisine all together. Ancient territory of First Nations was originally clearly with draught horses laid fallow for many years until Dave and Donna Krysko created their oasis vision in 2016. Tilled the land and planted gorgeous apples trees and brought on Cider Maker Michael Donley to “PRESS” it artfully. In kitchen, Chef Ricardo Scebba (St Clair College, Ricardo’s Mediterranean Kitchen) brings his impressive award winning Italian family recipes to the gorgeous stately lounge. Airy, welcoming, cozy with a garden like patio it is romantic and relaxing- perfect way to enjoy delicious heartfelt cuisine. Ricardo's Catering Couldn’t be a visit without sampling new release ciders. Had such a wonderful time sipping and learning about the dedication, farming techniques and attention to detail in creating these lovely small batches. Warm and gracious service from Johnny. With the many guests he still ensured we all were attended to and enjoyed thoroughly! Awesome job!

I stayed at Soma for two nights with my husband and my 6 month old, and it was dreamy! We stayed at the inn on days that the cidery was closed, but the instructions we received were clear and it was easy to access our room despite there not being any staff on site. The room was clean and lovely, with a beautiful view of the property (and the alpacas!). The common area/lounge was well stocked with coffee, tea, snacks, as well as a bookshelf with plenty available to read. The area was great - quiet, rural, tucked away amongst wineries and vineyards, but only a 20 minute drive into town. The best of both worlds. 10/10 would highly recommend!

the service staff were so lovely & every cider on the flight was soo tasty. the caesar salad was great, but the charcuterie at ricardo’s was just very mid it was a very affordable charcuterie board but I think we expected something a little different, on the menu it says it comes with crostini & some other things that weren’t included. & the photos I see online include nice treats like raincoast crisps but everything on our plate felt a sorta cheap & like broken crackers, if it were me Id prolly save those as a staff snacky but ya know for the price it was good, but Id recommend updating your menu with a more accurate description of what is actually included, or communicating to your guests things like “oh we’re out of the crostini that’s listed etc.” gorgeous location though, and totally darling wait staff! Just thought Id give that note :)

The ciders were absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The drinks were truly exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and unique. However, the food experience was disappointing. Prices were quite high, but the quality and service didn’t match at all. It honestly felt underwhelming compared to the drinks and the setting. I’d definitely go back for the cider — but would skip the food next time.

Beautiful orchard and cidery. Quiet, relaxing, and the best part.. you can feed the Alpaca’s! (Or llama??). There are variety of ciders. Everything tastes good and refreshing!

Rotary Beach Park is a 1.5-hectare waterfront park that offers a sandy beach, swimming area, restrooms, playground, and trails. It's a quieter option for families with small children compared to the bustling Gyro Beach. The park provides plenty of amenities including picnic areas and rental options from Okanagan Beach Rentals. Visitors can enjoy the clean sand and crystal-clear water while having access to proper facilities without dealing with large crowds downtown.
Rotary Beach Park in Kelowna is a hidden gem perfect for a serene escape. Its tranquil setting, especially during sunsets, is simply breathtaking. Watching the sky paint itself with vibrant hues while the gentle waves lap at the shore is an unforgettable experience. The park also offers a delightful playground for kids, making it a family-friendly destination. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the charming ducks that frequent the area, adding a touch of nature's beauty to your visit.

Went there for sunset until late evening and it was peaceful. We enjoyed a quiet picnic by the waters along the benches and watched people walk by with their dogs. Live music in the background by a local bar was a pleasant bonus and the ambience itself was just memorable. Clean and spacious with well maintained washrooms.

One of the free , pretty and clean beach in Kelowna just along the road. This place is clean and nice , people are also nice and the water is good to swim at There is a nearby dock that you can see seaplane landing. Good for kids to play on the playground and water. There is also a rental place for water equipment and activity..

We came to this park by accident but actually it was a great choice. We rent the paddle boat here for $25/hour which allows 2 adults and 2 kids on board. It won’t allow you to go too far on the lake though. There’re lots of shades and this park is not too busy.

I live right beside this beach and it awedome:) Great for kids with a playground at one end of the beach. The water stays shallow fairly far out and there's always a tacho bender there that has cherittos or however you spell it lol. You can also rent water bikes and peddle boat, paddle boards.

We went in as a group of 7 friends and had an absolute blast! 🎉 Liam and Logan were super chill and made the whole experience even more enjoyable (seriously, these guys know how to keep the vibes high) Once you’re up there, the views of Kelowna are breathtaking — mountains, valleys, and the Okanagan River all laid out like a painting. No camera can do it justice — it’s one of those “you gotta see it with your own eyes” moments. And here’s a pro tip: don’t forget to ask the crew for the Dip! 💦 You can go from just a little toe dip in the water to a full-on body splash — perfect for surprising that one friend who has no idea what’s coming. (Trust us, their reaction will be priceless 😂) All in all, it was such a fun adventure and definitely something worth trying if you’re in Kelowna. Highly recommended!

My son recently started working as a chef at Table Nineteen at the Okanagan GC so while I was visiting he arranged a round of golf for us and then we had dinner afterwards. The course (Quail course) is challenging but fun and in great condition. After our round we sat on the deck at Table Nineteen and enjoyed some delicious offerings from their Happy Hour menu and their Taco Tuesday selections. My son had their artisan pizza with pears, prosciutto and blue cheese, an Oder of their dumplings and a gin Caesar. I had two each of their different tacos (beef/chicken/prawn) and a nice refreshing Steamworks Lager. The food was so good and the portions are very generous! Sitting in the sun, enjoying good food and drinks with the golf course as the backdrop is what Okanagan Summers are all about

We got married at Okanagan Golf Club and it was truly the best venue! From the beginning, the event coordinator, Karin, was so kind, informative, and helpful. She went out of her way to accommodate us. For example, there was an event happening the day before our wedding, so we couldn't set up the night before, but she moved the event to the restaurant. She also let us borrow an easel for our seating chart, gave us lots of recommendations for vendors, and was flexible with our final guest count since a few of our guests were unsure if they would be able to make it to our big day due to circumstances beyond their control. Since we are from Vancouver, we needed a venue that was easily accessible for all our guests coming into Kelowna. Okanagan Golf Club partnered with the Hampton Inn & Suites, who offered a shuttle service and a special rate, which was a five-minute drive away. They also had a shuttle to and from the airport, also very close by, which our guests really appreciated. We were able to choose from two different ceremony sites: the gazebo, where we did our first look, and by the lake, which is where we had our ceremony. We also took our couple portraits around the golf course, which had some beautiful forest and hillside scenery. The reception room was newly renovated, so it was very modern, spacious, and bright. We chose the Golden Bear buffet for our dinner. The prime rib was the best prime rib we've ever had, and our guests still talk about how good the dinner was to this day. The staff were so friendly and efficient, and even helped us pack up our centrepieces to pick up the next day. They also set up golf balls for our guests to hit during the cocktail hour. After the wedding, we played two rounds of golf with our guests on both the Bear and Quail courses. The courses were beautiful, and we were even offered discounts, which was a great bonus. We cannot thank Karin and the entire team at Okanagan Golf Club for making our special day so memorable!

Super fun course with some amazing views of the airport area. Played the Bear course. I'm not a great golfer, but I found this course to be comfortable, for lack of a batter term. It just makes you feel at ease and not intimidated. It's still a challenge, but you dont feel like you're going to have to look for your ball on every hole.

WEDDING REVIEW: The Okanagan Golf Club is the best place in Kelowna to get married! Karin and her team completely surpassed any expectations I had and truly helped to create my dream wedding! Karin is so thoughtful and kind, she makes you feel like an actual human being and she cares so much that your wedding day is everything you imagined it to be. She goes to great lengths to make it an easy process and accommodates so many things along the way. We had both our rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding at the Okanagan Golf Club and majority of our friends and family were not from Kelowna but the amount of praise we got for the venue just goes to show how amazing the entire team is. I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding at the Okanagan Golf Club, it's where dreams come true.

We went here last week after playing The harvest the day before. The price is $170 same as The harvest. But we think it’s not worth the price . The view is not special and not beautiful as the harvest. The course is not fun to play just an average course but the price is way too high compared with Black mountain we played the next day which is more fun and beautiful but only $95.

This is the friendliest course I’ve ever been to. Took my 6 year old son here for a round and the team was incredible. The course is perfect for little ones and those looking to improve short game and the longer holes have their challenges as well. Will definitely be back when we return to Kelowna.

One of the nicest beginner friendly courses I've been to in the entire south okanagan. Me and a buddy played a round of best ball and as a group of 2, we were moving faster than the group of 4 in front of us, but never concerned about waiting a few minutes. Just gave us time to enjoy the gorgeous course. Magnificent willow trees everywhere with a couple water hazards. Nice relaxing golf game. We actually put up a person best for us at an 18 hole course. I would strongly recommend this course to anyone no matter their skill level. 10/10 service all around
Caylan G — Google review
A great beginner/casual course with some fun, interesting holes. Definitely a pretty easy course - great for a fun casual round. We went there with a 6 year old and he had a great time. The staff were all incredible and super friendly, both at the club house and the restaurant. The actual conditions of the course left a lot to be desired. The tee boxes barely had any grass so you are usually teeing off hard dirt. The tee boxes were also not flat - most of them were either sloped or convex, not ideal for a tee box. Lots of still water in the fairways and a ton of goose poop everywhere. All that being said, I think the prices were fair for what you get. 18 holes and a cart cost me roughly $60. Overall, A great little course for beginners - just don’t come expecting good conditions and you will be happy.
Logan B — Google review
Good course to practice your short game and mid irons. Can’t blame the course for having ball marks on greens. This responsibility is up to each golfer to repair their own (and maybe others’). The staff at the pro shop are friendly and very accommodating. It’s also conveniently located for us.
Jay L — Google review
Great short course with no Par 5s. Par is 61 and more like a long pitch and putt that you can take your driver out for a couple holes. Food and service are great. It's was stupid hot when we were there and seemed like they over waters some areas, but it's a pretty damn good value
Colin P — Google review
Terrible golf course, way over priced for the condition of the course. Not a single spot on the tee box is flat and doesn’t have a divot. Waste of money. This course would only be fun if you were heavily intoxicated highly suggest to play Shannon lake or two eagles for cheaper and way better maintained course.
Football 4 — Google review
So hot today! Would love to have a water spigot out on the course somewhere. Love playing ladies day here.

The course was beautiful despite the shape it was in. From the T boxes to the greens, the grounds keeper should not be there. Maybe it is a budget thing. Whereever there was ground under repair, it was done poorly. Overall I would not recommend this course to any hacker.

The Ogopogo Statue is a must-see attraction in Kelowna, located in the downtown area with picturesque mountains as a backdrop. The new statue, replacing an old one for safety reasons, still draws visitors to City Park. It's a popular spot for kids and offers a free and fun photo opportunity. The iconic sculpture represents the local legend of the Ogopogo lake monster and is easily accessible by foot or bike.
It is something you just have to stop to take a picture of when you are in Kelowna. Aside from the Ogopogo statue, downtown Kelowna is a very cute and an up and coming town with beautiful mountains as a backdrop. Though the waterfront is small, it is clean and offers a beautiful view of the sun setting. Many restaurants are just a few blocks away.
Arnica L — Google review
To me, this is the iconic symbol of Kelowna. Our first family trip was to Kelowna, and I remember taking a photo with my cousin on this statue. That was 1992. It's amazing that the statue is still around, making happy memories for all those we stopped by. I had my kids take pictures on it like I did. Hopefully, they, too, will recall these happy memories one day like I did.
Victor L — Google review
This is probably the best statue of any local cryptid. You have to pay your respects to Ogopogo while you're in Kelowna. Then enjoy the lovely little park and vibrant downtown. But mostly take pictures with your sea monster friend. It's non-negotiable. If you're in town stop what you're doing and how take a dumb picture with this goofy statue! Kids can climb on it, it's fun for the whole family!

Ancient Hill Winery, located in the rural Ellison community just north of Kelowna, offers a unique experience for wine enthusiasts. The winery is situated on land that was once covered by glaciers and now produces delectable wine grapes. Visitors can bring their leashed dogs to enjoy the European-style wines on the patio while admiring the beautiful gardens. The winery's rich history dates back 25,000 years when a glacier occupied the land, eventually melting into a glacial lake.
I had visited this winery two years ago but the memories are still fresh . Very lovely ladies greeted us and made us taste the juiciest rose wine. Sit outdoors or taste at the bar , you will be transformed to the grapevines. Wine tasting and retail purchase is smoothly done.

The winery itself is absolutely beautiful; both the view and the ambience were stunning and made for such a wonderful experience. I would love to give it a full 5 stars, but I personally didn’t enjoy their red wine as much, as I found it a little too dry for my taste. That’s just my palette though; I know plenty of people enjoy that style. I also didn’t get to stay long enough to fully experience everything they offer, but overall it was amazing and definitely worth visiting.

A hidden gem in Kelowna. A family owned business, and we met Jitske and family — they’re the sweetest, and the most kindest and warmest host! Definitely a must visit winery in town. Such a magical and most beautiful place. Wine, scenery, ambience and the vibes! Go and see it yourself ;)

A lovely time spent in a beautiful Old World winery filled with European antique furniture. Richard, the owner and our host, despite being busy with harvest, spent the time pouring our tastings, answering our questions, and showing us the facilities. The wine was superb and the company entertaining.

A winery that is still old school with the right way to wine test! Cleaning the palate in between tastings with crackers! This is really a game changer. It was my only wine I enjoyed baco You do not need a large piece. The low cost of this that other local wineries cheap out on, some for a higher tasting fee. The amazing aroma from the gardens when arriving is so welcoming along with the patio a short lovely walk thru the gardens

We had last visited here at 15 years ago when it just opened… Today we were greeted by beautiful white hydrangeas and wildflowers blooming and three different wines to taste for six dollars. Our favourite was the Baco noir Rose. Enjoyed it out on the patio. Dogs were welcome and they were even some toys for children out on the patio. Enjoy the beautiful view of the valley and UBCO.

Nice little, unpretentious, winery. We popped in to try some wine and cheese on the patio. The gentlemen serving us was very friendly and happy to accomodate what we were looking for. Unfortunately they didnt have any white wine in stock (?) for my wife but they had non-alcoholic options and a cheese and cracker option that hit the spot for us. There seemed to be one main building housing the bar which is very nice inside. The patio is cozy and has a wonderful view of the surrounding land (they are perched on a hill by the vinyard itself). There's lots of greenery around in the form of vines and a "wild" flower garden. I'm no connoisseur of wine but I know what I like and I enjoyed the wine that was recommended to me. Recommend them for their wine and for a fun time with friends/loved ones in a beautiful setting.

Okay I loved this winery. They were very accommodating to our group and very dog friendly as well. The wine was lovely and the person serving us was so genuine and friendly. It seemed like a family owned business. Also the views were insane and I’d love to go back one day. Would be a perfect wedding venue.

Tantalus Vineyards, located in the heart of the scenic Okanagan Valley, offers a chic and airy space for wine tastings with stunning views of Okanagan Lake. This boutique winery is renowned for its commitment to producing exceptional single-vineyard wines, particularly Riesling and other cool-climate varietals.
My server Alexa was amazing!! We did a wine taste hop today and she definitely stood out! so personable and had an extensive answer to any questions I asked, definitely made me want to come back :)❤️

Tantalus was our sole wine stop during our Okanagan visit, and it didn’t disappoint. The tasting room and surrounding views are absolutely stunning. Our host was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the wines and the vineyard’s story. We left with some great bottles and a memorable experience.

We were guided by a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable lady through an excellent wine tasting experience. The setting was beautiful, and the wines were of very high quality. She even let us try two additional wines that were not on the tasting list. Overall, it was an excellent experience. We purchased a case of wine. We will definitely come again.

I have to say, this might have been our best experience in Okanagan. My wife and I visited the winery in June 2025. We weren't familiar with the brand so everything was new. We sat outside, facing the vineyards. On each table, they have a map showing which grapes grow in wich plot/area, it helps understanding a bit better the location. Our sommelier was phenomenal, his knowledge was above all others we talked to. I even had a silky question about the cork and he knew the answer! My greatest surprise was the riesling they served us as I'm usually not a big fan. 10/10 recommend!

Situated high above Lake Okanagon, the winery has stunning views of the vineyards, the lake and surrounding hill. The tasting area has wonderful views, as does the balcony. We had a reserve tasting, guided by Tatiana, was was wonderful. I made a great guess based on her name and accent that she was from Russia, and indeed her birthplace was in Siberia. She was delightful, and her accent was reminiscent of Tatiana Maslamy's Russian orphan in Orphan Black. I digress, we tasted two Rieslings - one a second press which was light and offset, and then the first press from the same harvest the old vines Riesling 2022which was wonderful - fresh, high acidity. We bought 2 bottles of the latter and one of the former. We also tasted a Pinot noir and a Cabernet franc (from grapes in South Okanagan) both of which were nice and easy drinking. Special kudos to the staff - we arrived late for our tasting, and they stayed open for a half hour beyond closing time to accommodate us and a few other late arrivals.

Knowledgeable staff and very comfortable seating options. Reisling and Pinot Noir were world class. Native Canadian art is on display and on the wine labels.

Nice view of the vineyard and the lake! We like the quiet ambience. Your choice to seat in the patio or the a/c room.

This winery is truly a gem. We chanced upon this one amongst the many that are available. We also chose to do one of their tasting which cost $15 per pax (you get $5 off if you make a purchase). The tasting was great. We were seated at the balcony overlooking the vineyards and were served each tasting slowly with lots of explanation. We enjoyed the stories behind each wine served. And the wines were light and drinkable.
