Museum
Historic Pensacola Village is an 8.5-acre historic downtown area featuring 28 preserved buildings and museums spanning from colonial times to WWII. The City of Pensacola has planned improvements to enhance the safety and accessibility of Zaragoza Street in the village, including raised pedestrian crossings, ADA-compliant sidewalks, and curb extensions.
I recently had the pleasure of taking a guided tour at Historic Pensacola Village, and it was an incredible experience! The tour was well-structured and led by a knowledgeable guide Carly who brought the area's history to life with engaging stories and insights. We explored several beautifully restored buildings. Each site was filled with intriguing facts and artifacts that deepened my understanding of life in Pensacola during different time periods. Carly made the experience both informative and entertaining. I particularly appreciated how she encouraged questions and shared personal anecdotes, which made the tour feel more interactive. The village itself is beautifully maintained, offering a lovely setting for a stroll between stops. Overall, I highly recommend the guided tour of Historic Pensacola Village to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich history of the area. It’s a fantastic way to spend a few hours and truly appreciate the stories that shaped this beautiful region.

We were pleasantly surprised by all the houses on the tour. Our tour guide was a kind young man who knew an incredible amount of details. It was fun following him through these historic homes. We were there a week ago while traveling from SC back to TX. We were happy to finally make it to the historic Pensacola Village. I think Christ Church had an interesting history. We barely scraped the surface of all the stories to be told here. Everyone working here dressed in clothes from a long ago time. Well done Pensacola. Our tour guide was a University Student and did such a phenomenal tour for all of us. He told us so many stories. His stories brought the old homes to life as we wandered through.

We had an amazing experience at Historic Pensacola Village! For just $12, we got a 2-hour guided tour plus access to the Historic Museum, Art Museum, and more — and the pass is good for 7 days. Our guide, Seven, was outstanding — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing Pensacola’s history. The tour was well-paced, the exhibits were fascinating, and everything far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Pensacola!

Our tour guide was Melissa and she was great! Very interactive and knowledgeable. We definitely got our monies worth. Very inexpensive for a 2 hour tour. Enjoyed it tremendously! We recommend this tour. There is so much to see and the ticket is good for 7 days!! Are you serious??? That's amazing. Day 1 - Do the tour Day 2 - Go to the beach and enjoy all the activities the beach has to offer - kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing, sailboarding, sunbathing, mini golf, etc. Day 3 - Do a dolphin watch or a fishing charter Day 4- tour the area restaurants and check out the rest of the buildings/museums and have a day of it Day 5 - finally, a day at the pool/beach just relaxing.

Amazing tour of some fascinating sites. Melissa, the tour guide, gave great insight and phenomenal energy. She definitely made the tour exciting. A must-see attraction for anyone interested in the history of Pensacola. I’d ask for Melissa:)

This was a wonderful tour and very enlightening and educational. Chase did a fantastic job walking us through and giving us a line-by-line history of the formation of Pensacola. Loved it!

Carlee was an amazing tour guide! My husband and I drove to Pensacola from Mississippi just for the day with our boys (16 & 12), and wanted to see some of the history in this very old city. Carlee was kind and informative. This was well worth the $12 per adult and $6 for my youngest. Even the boys enjoyed themselves and learned some stuff in the process. I would definitely recommend taking this tour if you’re in the area.

Blue Wahoos Stadium, also known as Admiral Fetterman Field, is a 5,000-seat open-air stadium located at 351 W Cedar Street in Pensacola. It's the home of the Minor League Baseball team Pensacola Blue Wahoos, affiliated with the Miami Marlins. The stadium offers a laid-back atmosphere for family-friendly fun and hosts various events such as concerts and movie nights throughout the year.
First time to see the Blue Wahoos. Had a terrific experience and absolutely love this little stadium. It felt smaller than other double A stadiums I've been in before, which gave it some charm. Enjoyed being able to see the bay as it sits right on the water. The ticket prices were very fair as well as the concessions. We were able to find on the street parking a short walk away which we were happy about. Will definitely take in another game if I'm in the area.
Brian D — Google review
Best minor league stadium I've been to. It's super clean and has a gorgeous view out in center field. There were multiple different styles of food you could eat around the concourse. We sat on the berm for a bit which still had a great view of the game along with the sunset. They also had great fireworks after the game. We got there pretty close to the start of the game on a Saturday evening and they were sold out except for standing room so I'd recommend getting there early or buying tickets online. An amazing time.

By far the BEST stadium I’ve been to!! The nicest staff members ever! You feel like family! One of the workers gave us a tour of the whole stadium-He was the best! The atmosphere, the team, food, gift shop..everything is great! Beautiful views! I will be returning next season!
Nicole B — Google review
Very nice stadium, not a bad seat in the place. Went to a ball game and had a great time. Seats are tall people friendly, I’d say. Only negative was that there weren’t really any options for desserts :(
Adin H — Google review
Beautiful ocean views. Great variety of food and snacks. Easy parking (you can pay with cash or card on site). We really enjoyed watching the last game of the season here!
Valentina H — Google review
Nice stadium with great views of the bay. Wish the lines for food moved quicker. Other than that, great!
THEEJT — Google review
First time here. Had a great time. The game started at 4pm and we were in the shade (section 100), which was very nice. By 5, most seats were shaded. Nice view of the water. Food was good, although there aren't a lot of choices. Good selection of beers available. Parking across the street for $10. Super easy to get in and out.
Jim S — Google review
Season tickets holders after doing mini plan for two years. Phenomenal effort is put in by the organization and everyone, season ticket holder or not is treated very well. The wahoos do so much to support the community and do wonderful things for the kids in attendance. It is very family friendly. Tuesday you can bring your dog and you get a free hotdog, chip and drink with your ticket. Thursday is dollar draft beers for one hour, then it goes to two dollars and 3 as the game goes on. Friday is a giveaway day for first 1000 folks. Saturday is fireworks after the game. Sunday kids get to run the bases on the field after the game. Every game is a roach run for kids after the 6th inning. The organization is very interactive and I promise you’ll have an amazing time.

3/27/2025: Small art museum in the historic district of Pensacola. I’m not a big art gallery person, but this self guided tour was part of the full ticket we purchased, so we checked it out while we were there. It took us about 25 minutes to see all the exhibits. It’s worth the time to check it out.
Lauri B — Google review
Admittedly, the museum is small, and its current layout may feel limited. At the moment, only one floor is open, mainly showcasing local or regional contemporary creations, which may not appeal to all visitors. There is a small engraving by Goya and a piece by Gallé, though these are discreetly placed and easy to overlook. I remembered, from a visit about twenty years ago, a respectable collection of 19th-century American paintings that I found of real interest. It's unclear whether this has been moved or replaced temporarily, possibly to make room for the upcoming exhibition (apparently focused on aquatic themes, based on what's being prepared upstairs). Of course, this is only a matter of personal taste. I hope that the museum’s promise of being “more than a museum,” as stated on the poster outside, will be realized in future exhibitions. For now, I personally found the current offering rather underwhelming. The French-language signage is somewhat tucked away in a back corridor, currently closed to children’s activities. That said, the staff were very welcoming, admission was reduced (6 instead of 12 dollars), and the ticket is valid for a week and also gives access to other museums in the city—which is a definite plus. The temperature inside, thanks to the building's history as a former prison, is pleasantly cool.
François L — Google review
This art gallery currently has some interesting but very disturbing works on display (August 2025). I couldn’t quite understand the motivation behind the exhibition, which felt more suited to a dedicated contemporary art venue.. especially because the pieces have such a provoking character. The “Duality” exhibition on the second floor was intense. For example, one piece showed a twisted, uprooted tree hanging from above, and beneath it a torn-up patch of grass resembling a grave, where several maggots were arranged around two dead hands. This is not for children… my son, looking at it, couldn’t understand what he was seeing. Personally, I also found the “church tank” and some hanging udders difficult to take in within the context of a city museum. I don’t feel that the Museum of Art is the right environment for these works, and I wouldn’t take my kids back here. Ticket: We got a combined ticket for the Museum of History, the Art Gallery, and the Historic Village.. $12 for adults and $7 for kids. It’s a good deal if you want a first look into Pensacola’s culture and history all in one day. Museum Store: yes

Art Mueseum is small went through it in about 30 min. You also get admission to the History, Industry, Commerce and Childrens Museums plus a tour through the Historic Church and Homes they offer 3 times a day.
Kari B — Google review
Very small, very personal exhibition with a few nice pieces and a historic setting inside and old jail. The centerpiece down stairs was basically the highlight of the trip. The lady at the front desk was nice and sociable and there was an art class during my visit that was full underway.
Michael R — Google review
This is a very nice museum and staff. The location is great and it was my first stop and where I learned that I could pay $10 and visit other museums as long as I had my receipt. It last 7 days except for the ticket bought on Sunday. That ticket is only $5 because only 3 museums open and expired that day. The special exhibit is the Seance by American artist Shannon Taggart. It’s quite interesting and helps to see how others think etc. There are paintings on the 2nd floor. They are by different artist. There is a gift shop. I love art and if you are the same, highly recommend touring this museum!
Dr. R — Google review
We visited on Labor Day Saturday. Parking is along the street means you may have a bit of a walk. Buying entrance to one historical area, gives you entrance to a number of others in the area. Very good value for the money. Downstairs has some nice pieces. Upstairs is for the touring exhibit. A very nice museum for a smaller town.

Palafox Street in Downtown Pensacola is a vibrant and charming destination that offers an array of experiences. From high-end boutiques and jewelers to the Palafox Farmers Market, there's always something happening on this renowned street. It has been consistently recognized as one of the best streets in America, boasting an impressive selection of shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee shops, and historic architecture.
By sheer dumb luck my first visit to Pensacola was on Saturday when there's a multi-block crafts/food market. Lots of buskers, too. I began walking into town from the pier just to find breakfast, but I wound up spending the entire morning and early afternoon on Palafox! Lots of bike racks, benches for sitting, and most important --- TREE COVER!
Stephen P — Google review
Love this area. So alive and busy. With the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The laughter and chatter all around you with beautiful weather and everyone going thier own ways and doing their own thing. Really is a beautiful thing. So jump in the scene and live a life serene. The trees, the park, everything in between. The art, colors, all so freeing. This is the place to be if you believe, if you agree get out there and go see. 👀 it's a great place to be.

Palafox Street has regularly been named one of the 10 Best Streets in America and it never disappoints! Great shops, restaurants, bars, amazing number of quality breweries and coffee shops, beautiful historic architecture, museums, etc. What a great place just to walk around EVERY day or night, whether there are events in progress or not...and there are almost ALWAYS fun events going on such as Gallery Night (the 3rd Friday of every month), Festivals, Parades, Mardi Gras (which kicks off this Sat night at 5pm), Dog Friendly celebrations, Farmer's Markets every weekend, kid-friendly events, etc. If you haven't been to Downtown Pensacola yet...why not??!!

The Saenger Theatre is a huge and opulent theater located on Palafox Street in downtown Baton Rouge. It has been in operation since 1925 and is known as the Grand Dame of Palafox Street by locals. The theater accommodates more than 1600 people, and features Broadway shows, concerts, and classic films.
The Saenger Theatre in beautiful downtown Pensacola was the perfect setting for this amazing event... Seeing William Shatner in person was a real blast and the front row seats definitely made it even better and worth the extra cost... No matter the event, this theater is beautiful, historic, and a great place to be in. Get your tickets for whatever event you wish and experience this classic location.
Greg R — Google review
Beautiful venue and acoustics for musical concerts and other performing arts. Just enjoyed the 100th year celebration of the theater. There's plenty of affordable paid parking and restaurants in the general area of the theater
Larry A — Google review
Saw the showing of Beetlejuice (the movie) here. Super cool venue with tons of seating and since it was general admission we were able to try lots of different angles. There were a few cons to the experience. Firstly the theater “Marshalls” did nothing to keep people from talking incessantly. I get that it is an older movie, but there should be some level of decorum kept. Secondly, they cut off booze sales with about 30 minutes left in the show. I understand there might be liability issues, but everywhere else downtown lets you drink till you leave, so it just feels underwhelming to get cut off with time restrictions. Overall a net positive, and would definitely return for future events.
Jrock — Google review
Beautiful theater! Seems like no "bad" seats for view, but they could have had more leg room...my knees hit the seat in front of me (I'm avg size). I guess it's a product of it's age. Very nice volunteer ushers! Overall great experience.
Mel Y — Google review
Beautiful theater, lots of history there. We watched the Rock orchestra by candle light, loved them! The theater chairs were very uncomfortable, and small, we were packed in there like sardines. I know the building is old, the air quality was lacking, it brought on an asthma attack. Had my inhaler in the car, so it was ok. Would I go again? Yes indeed. However, I will plan ahead, and be mindful of the seating, and take allergy meds prior to going, and have my inhaler with me! Lol

Absolutely beautiful place , the staff were great . This was my first time going .. it was really great timing for me I lost my furson Maltese of 14 years on Christmas Day and that was my first time leaving my home .. so happy I did. I got to see the great Drifters, Coasters, Platters , what a fantastic performance.. My era of music . The best part was when Thomas from the Drifters called me of all people up on the stage to dance with him , the song was , &"Save the last dance for me " perfect song, I used to dance with my little furson 🐶 Q day that was one of the songs we danced to so it was quiet magical. I danced with him up until he took his last breath . That was always our thing .. so this really meant a lot to me ♥️ I wish I could have gotten a picture of us ... I'm looking forward to going back .. The staff were really nice ..

Pensacola MESS Hall is an interactive science and engineering museum where visitors can conduct real experiments. It's a great place to inspire young minds to think creatively and stay curious. The museum offers engaging learning activities that help develop critical thinking in children, making subjects like math, engineering, and science more interesting.
A great place for kids to have a hands-on learning experience. There are creative stations/exhibits to explore subjects like science and engineering. Clean and well structured!

The Mess Hall is a gift that keeps giving to Pensacola. It provides great opportunities for young and old to learn STEM concepts in a fun and communal environment, with routinely changing events and interactive experiences. Learn something new with each visit. The staff is engaging and informed, particularly Ariel, who has always been patient, kind and genuinely invested in ensuring kids have fun and learn new things about science and the world. Definitely check this place out with your family.

Teeny tiny little powerhouse of a science museum. We loved the mess menu that included activity kits for the kids to do. I don't think I've ever seen such a small yet mighty museum. Got in free with our ASTC travel membership but made sure to buy a bunch of stuff from their gift corner including some take home mess kits! Keep up the good work guys!

3 years ago we came and fell in love with Mess Hall. 2 years ago we came back and didn’t realize it was the week they close to get ready for summer. Last year we were out of the country. If you are a parent reading this - you know it means my kids (now 10 and 8) have asked for 3 years when we are going to make it back to Mess Hall. We made it back today and I can confidently say we will be back again! We spend hours here as a family and no one asks for an electronic or says, “I’m bored.” Highly recommend! There is something for everyone!
Erin S — Google review
I’m sorry to say that I was very disappointed in our visit to the mess hall. It cost $30 to get in for an adult and a four-year-old. 90% of the exhibits far exceeded the comprehension of a four-year-old. The condition of the exhibits was very disappointing. The large blue foam blocks that my grandson played with were filthy. I Applied hand sanitizer to his hands multiple times. The fishing poles for the little fishing game only had one that had a magnet that actually was strong enough to pick up the fish. The marble run exhibit had many pieces that were cracked and needed to be replaced. Ex- 2 L plastic bottle pieces. Plastic dishes containing objects to view under the microscope were badly scratched and interfered with clear viewing. The music bench did not work properly. The staff that was present did not engage or explain anything when I did ask a question she didn’t even bother to come out from behind the counter to explain or show us how to do anything. I feel I wasted $30. There should be different price levels for age of children if you are going to have so many exhibits that they don’t understand. Again, very disappointed in the experience I won’t return

This place was awesome! My 5 yo had a blast. My 2 yo enjoyed the river. We were here for two and a half hours and did science experiments the whole time!! Great activity for a windy beach day. Can't wait to stop by next year and see what new things we can get into when we can read ourselves. Thank you to the awesome staff who was there to answer any questions and to suggest new mess kits for us to try out. My oldest even asked for more supplies to make her own creation. Loved it! Great stop!!

Since its establishment in 1967, it has been a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. Each room, including Rosie O'Gradys, Phineas Phoggs, Lili Marlenes, Apple Annies, Fast Eddies, End o the Alley and Palace Cafe has its own unique atmosphere.
This place is insanely cool, we are definitely going back when we can. The building is gorgeous, like late 1800s - early 1900s, wood and iron, with real gas lamps. They have a bunch of different rooms with totally different themes - there's a cocktail bar with live music where we ate dinner (which was delicious- definitely recommend the shrimp tacos and the French dip sandwich), a sports bar with arcade cabinets and pool tables, a courtyard bar with cast iron tables and a live band, a karaoke bar, and a piano bar. There may be more, I don't remember offhand, but we could easily spend a whole night here.

As a Brit, I really love the character and history of Seville Quarter. The space is full of old world charm—exposed brick, wrought iron, and cozy nooks that reminded me a lot of home. Which is no surprise, as Pensacola’s colonial history includes British rule, and you can feel that influence in the architecture and vibe. It also gave me strong French Quarter energy—specifically, it reminded me of Pat O’Brien’s in New Orleans, with the open-air courtyard and multi-room layout, perfect for exploring. Very cool to see that kind of old European atmosphere in Florida. Food was just okay - nothing to write home about, and I’ve only visited during quieter times, which suited me just fine, but I’ve heard it gets packed on weekends and holidays. Definitely planning to come back when it’s livelier. A must-see if you enjoy historic bars with unique personality.

What a beautiful building! There are multiple themed areas with individual bars/ food service in each. Tours given upon request and they also offer a ghost tour. The live music in the courtyard was fantastic. Check out the store on your way and grab some great wines and/or whiskeys!

Cool history at Seville Quarter. Ask bar tender about history and "true" ghost stories. Food and service also great.

Seville Quarter is hands down one of the best nightlife spots in Pensacola! The atmosphere is electric from the moment you walk in. The piano bar is an absolute standout — lively, interactive, and full of talent. The musicians keep the energy high with great crowd engagement and fun song choices that get everyone singing along. The dance floor is just as exciting, with a great mix of music and a vibrant crowd that makes it easy to have a great time whether you're out with friends or celebrating something special. Every corner of Seville Quarter offers a slightly different vibe, which makes it perfect for bouncing between experiences all in one night. The staff was friendly, the drinks were solid, and the whole place had that perfect mix of historic charm and party energy. It’s an unforgettable spot and an absolute must-visit if you're in Pensacola looking for a fun night out!

This is a great place to hangout and meet new people. End of the Alley was my wife and I’s personal favorite. It has a super comfy dive bar feel. The staff and guests were all very friendly and sparking up conversations was incredibly easy. The bartender Megan makes you feel completely at home and welcomed. Absolutely loved this place!
Matthew G — Google review
I love going here. Some of the bartenders are extremely nice and provide great service, but the tall, African American man that works in the live music room is extremely unpleasant every time I go there. He either completely ignores me until I leave or is rude. He's only actually helped me once and never again. Last weekend I ordered 2 shots for my friend and I and we were already drunk. He didn't ask for my card or anything and I opened a tab in another room and forgot to open one with him. He handed me the drinks and waited for us to turn and walk away and loudly announced that we needed to pay for that. The group next to us ooh'd and ahh'd. He embarrassed us on purpose the ONE time he made our drink out of dozens of times we've come here. Otherwise, the food is phenomenal. The wings in particular. But the bartenders don't care for your comfort. I told one we were being followed and showed her who and she shrugged and said he's a regular.

Palafox Market is a lively community gathering in downtown Pensacola, FL, offering an array of local produce, handmade goods, and unique items. This bustling market supports the local economy by showcasing products from nearby farmers, artisans, and small businesses. Held every Saturday morning on historic Palafox Street, it provides a friendly atmosphere to explore fresh produce, artisanal goods, and sample some of the area's best local food.
Great place to go for a stroll and vendor shopping. Coffee, meats, popcorn, pork skins, jewelry, pottery, plants, musicians, mushrooms and so much more. We came in from Atlanta to watch our nephew race at the Snow Derby. Glad we made a detour to this.

Nice place. Unfortunately, in early may I didn't see any fruits or berries grown by local farmers at the farmers market. Went there specifically because i was looking for a place where i could buy loquat fruits, which are ripening right now near houses in pensacola. But alas - I didn't find any. And there weren't even any blueberries, blackberries or strawberries at the market. Although all of that is ripening on farms in the area now. It has lots of crafts, fresh-baked bread, smoothies, some food courts, honey from local producers and several flower stalls. Wonderful fresh lettuce, arugula, fresh basil and other green salad leaves and herbs. I want to warn you that parking around the market is need to be paid and by the app on your phone. However two cute old meeters are saved.

Had a wonderful walk through the market, which was quite busy. There are so many beautiful hand made items and the choices are endless. The food was great and I purchased some very nice cold- kept Wild Ice Botanical skin care. Just started using it and I love it,👍

Was a great day to be out and about on Market Day. Not too crowded and the vendors were doing great. Found several items I just had to have! It's great talking to the vendors and learning their stories. Many interesting tales, that's for sure. Parking is simple and there's plenty of it. Stop by next time. You'll be glad you did. Open 9am -2pm on Saturdays.

The Palafox Market is the place to be Saturday mornings in Pensacola—it’s worth getting out of the house for a stroll among us locals and tourists, too. Enjoy morning coffee and fresh baked goods while you peruse artisan crafts and maybe shop for unique Christmas gifts? As a cancer conqueror I love booth 49, aka ‘Wild Ice’, where I get preservative-free skin care that naturally smells sooooo yummy !

The Pensacola Children's Museum offers an interactive and educational experience for kids of all ages, making it a perfect destination for families visiting the area. The museum features various exhibits such as the Panton Trading Post, Lavalle Cottage, Fort, Native American Village, Kiddie Corral, Galveston, Publix Super Market Exhibit, Colonial Classroom, and more. It encourages children to unleash their creativity through hands-on activities and imaginative play.
My son absolutely loved it here. Upstairs has a kids version of Publix, Drs Office (with an ambulance and CT scan machine), and old school classroom!! He LOVED 'grocery shopping' on his own, being a doctor, and a teacher as well!!
Emmy — Google review
My family visited the Pensacola Children’s Museum on April 8, 2025. My kids had an absolute blast and did I honestly. They have a small Publix grocery store which we all were enjoying ourselves before having to visit the small doctors office and laboratory on the second floor. On the first floor you will have a small fort, trading post, and little cottage. Definitely a great place for kids to explore and it’s relatively cheap entertainment for the kids and even better the museum tickets are good for 7 days for all museums.

Very cute for its size. Kids had fun. Due to its location strollers are not allowed around the museum. They have a small stroller parking area in lobby. Only 1 elevators to use no stairs.

Used my Pogo Pass and took my 2 year old to the Pensacola Children's Museum. He had so much FUN! We especially loved the mini Publix grocery store and the hospital. We spent hours playing. The staff did a fabulous job at keeping the place tidy too!
Rachel Y — Google review
It was great entertainment for my toddler! The first floor could use a bit of maintenance —-some areas need a fresh coat of paint and a small upgrade.

So much fun! Took my 11 month old and my 1 1/2 year old niece. They loved it. I'm so glad they have a place like this for little ones to just be kids, be free to explore, and interact. Free if you're a student or have EBT/Snap, ticket gives you access for 7 days and to other museums. If you're looking for a place to take your crawling baby or walking toddler, this is it!
Carolina H — Google review
My 3 year old loves this place. It is smaller but the activities are age appropriate and fun to where she wanted to stay and go in and out of each of the rooms for hours. It's definitely worth the money. My only problem is that it would be nice for the parents to tidy up after their kids are finished with an activity so that the next child can enjoy it.
Lawryn M — Google review
Mostly a small play place for very young children than a "museum." Three main play areas that the kids seem to enjoy: Publix shopping store, medical clinic, and old time farming. Says it's for 0 to 8, but likely more toddler to age five. Where the displays seem to fall short is interaction with the child except the toy areas mentioned above.

If you're on the lookout for an unforgettable family adventure, the National Naval Aviation Museum is a destination that should be at the top of your list. This impressive museum stands as one of the largest in its field, showcasing over 150 meticulously restored military aircraft that tell the story of naval aviation's rich history spanning more than a century.
The National Naval Aviation Museum is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized—from parking and entry to exhibits and signage. The layout makes it easy to navigate, even with kids in tow, and there’s something fascinating around every corner. The facilities are spotless and clearly very well cared for. The aircraft displays are pristine, the restrooms were clean, and every area felt thoughtfully maintained. You can tell the staff and volunteers take real pride in keeping this place top-notch. It’s an educational, inspiring, and enjoyable experience for all ages. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a fun and meaningful outing, this museum is a must-visit. Five stars, hands down!
Jason N — Google review
Amazing museum! We went on a Friday morning with our 2 ½-year-old and he had the best time exploring the exhibits, climbing into planes, and flipping all the cockpit switches. His favorites were the simulator at the start and sitting in the aircraft. Admission is free, which makes it even better! There was a graduation going on during our visit but it didn’t affect our experience at all. Perfect spot for families — highly recommend!
Marclyn K — Google review
We were all very happy 😊 and impressed with our visit. To see these historic flying machines up close like this is awesome. We opted to take the guided tour and I highly recommend that. Our guide was excellent, but I'm confident all of them are since it's likely they are all experienced pilots and vets. Did I mention this aviation museum is FREE? We spent 3 hours in there, but you could easily spend the day.
Salvatore I — Google review
It’s wonderful! Huge!! There is a lot to see and learn. Admission is free! The tours are free! I’m guessing but I’m pretty sure they are veterans and they live to talk about their experiences in the military. They do suggest a $10 donation. We used google maps and ended up at the wrong gate. The museum is on base (so be sure all adults have real id) but the guard gave us the actual address and turned around. There is a cafe inside and a snack area which are purchased. There are flight simulators which are also for purchase. One is pretty tame but the others are pretty intense. It’s a bit pricy but worth it especially considering the money goes to running the museum. We visited both days of our weekend stay in Pensacola. If you have a pilot in your circle they would be enthralled. I highly recommend you visit!
Anne G — Google review
The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola is nothing short of spectacular — an absolute must-visit for anyone even remotely interested in aviation, history, or just looking for an unforgettable family outing. The sheer number of aircraft on display is mind-blowing. From early biplanes to jet fighters and iconic aircraft spanning every major conflict — WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, and beyond — the collection is incredibly comprehensive and beautifully presented. It's a powerful visual journey through the evolution of naval aviation and military history. What really impressed us was how family-friendly the entire experience was. There are interactive areas where kids can climb into cockpit cutouts, play, and get hands-on in a way that sparks real excitement and curiosity. It’s the kind of place where you’ll see wide-eyed kids pretending to be pilots while parents and grandparents marvel at the historical significance of the aircraft around them. The museum itself is massive — easily an all-day affair if you want to take in everything it has to offer, and honestly, it’s well worth the time. The layout is great, the exhibits are immersive, and there's something for every age and interest level. Whether you're a history buff, a family looking for an engaging day trip, or someone who simply loves incredible machines and the stories behind them, the National Naval Aviation Museum delivers on all fronts. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing experience. We went on a Wednesday and watched the Blue Angels practice/autograph session, and then explored the museum afterwards. If you enjoy and respect aviation as well as the military history of our country, highly recommend. We did not have the time to do it but we could have spent all day here.
Featherbear19 — Google review
Nice collection of vintage aircrafts. Several War Planes. Nice collection on engines. They also offer guided tour. Entry is free. There's a movie show which you can purchase and also a simulator ride which you can purchase. Do not miss it if you are near Pensacola. It's home of Blue Angels.
Sunil S — Google review
Absolutely amazing experience! There is a lot of exhibits and demonstrations to see at the museum. You really need a full day or whole weekend to see it all and read all the information. There’s so many planes, jets and copters. Kids can get in many of them and press buttons and steer. The different areas like Vietnam and World War Two show the way people lived during those periods so it was really neat to see. Highly recommend any time if you are in the area or great for kids rainy day activities. It’s free as of July 2025. Be prepared to do a lot of walking as the museum is huge.

Joe Patti's Seafood is a renowned institution that supplies the best restaurants in town with fresh seafood. The market offers a wide variety of locally caught seafood, including snapper, grouper, catfish, lobster, and their famous Royal Red shrimp. Established in the 1930s, this family-owned business has been a favorite for over 80 years. Visitors can experience the charm of a small-town market while exploring the impressive selection of fresh seafood brought in daily from the Gulf of Mexico.
Anytime we are traveling near the ocean we find a good fish market. Stepped foot into Joe Pattis and was impressed with huge variety of fresh seafood, and all other grocery items. The tuna dip with their fresh bread was so good, Gelato, as well as the delicious cheesecake. Instead of spending a fortune on crab legs out for our daughters birthday we decided to get the crab legs here to take back to the BNB. They steamed and seasoned them for us to perfection! If you like seafood at a reasonable price I promise you will not be disappointed. A bit busy while we we're there, but so worth the wait. We will definitely return again on our next vacation. Thanks for a wonderful seafood/birthday dinner for our daughter, Joe Pattis! Until next time.

Great fresh seafood at a good price. My first experience buying fresh seafood at a market. Quick service--just take a number and wait to be called. Ate the most delicious seafood I've had in years that I bought there yesterday and cooked tonight Highly recommend the tuna steaks and sea scallops--delicious!!!

Who wouldn’t want to handpick their own fresh seafood right from the whispering shoreline? We savored lobster, wild shrimp, and a creamy Snapper Gouda soup. To go along with it, we picked up a pound of both shrimp salad and salmon salad. We couldn't forget pepper sauce, cocktail sauce and crackers. Everything was absolutely delicious! When we returned, we sat outside, enjoyed our feast, and paired it with a bottle of Chianti.

Great seafood! Amazing variety - just about anything that comes out of the water! Prices very reasonable and the service is great. We got Royal Reds, peeled and deveined - steamed spicy. Delicious and perfectly cooked! Got their store made remoulade, Boom Boom and cocktail sauces - all fantastic! We’ll be back again and again!

This is the best and the largest seafood market in Pensacola area. Everytime I visit Pensacola I always make sure to buy seafood at this place before going back to Austin. Today I got so lucky and was able to buy 5 pieces of flounders for only $6.99/lb, pompano, baby octopus, small squid and a whole key lime pie. I am so excited to share with my family when Im home. Yummy!!!

There’s a time for love and a time for fish and a time for loving fish! Historic fish market located in Pensacola, Florida. Joe Patti‘s has a history of bringing in and selling only the best! Fishmarket, groceries, wine, and other beverages, and souvenirs are for sale in this large enclosed market. This is the largest market I’ve been to and the selection is overwhelming and fresh that day prices are very competitive and the service is outstanding. Extremely clean , Large parking lot, handicap parking and access, and restrooms . Even if you don’t like fish, you should experience this historic landmark. They will also steam cook anything for you and they also have an on-site sushi bar and wine cellar with an amazing selection. Very organized very professional very friendly. We purchased Royal red shrimp And the biggest fillet of Chilean Seabass i’ve ever seen. they also have a market to purchase some assorted premade dip, sauces, and assortment of fresh vegetables. I could’ve spent hours in there and thousands of dollars!

We absolutely had a blast our evening at Grizzly Axes! Papa Grizzly gave us personal lessons and tips which really improved our throwing. Even with lots of renovations currently in process the place was clean and organized!!!! I can't say enough about the quality of the staff. Both the young lady and young man were extra accommodating, helpful. They provided great service offering refills for our sodas brought to our space! Folks with families need to check this place out they offer fun for ages 8-65 in our group!!! Very reasonable fee for time especially when you compare it to other entertainment in the area!!!!

Party of my son’s bachelor party was here. The employees were awesome! Very nice and super helpful! They take time to show you how to throw and why it works that way. Celebrated with us when we got a bullseye! They also offer a rage room! Highly recommend. They are currently adding a kitchen for something a little more than snacks. We had a great time!

We celebrated two birthdays at Grizzly Axes — my son’s 8th and my husband’s 45th — and it couldn’t have been a better experience! We had family visiting from St. Croix and a full mix of ages: little kids, teens, young adults, middle-aged folks, and even senior citizens. The staff was incredibly accommodating, patient, and kind. Mr. Grizz (the owner) went above and beyond with our group. He personally introduced himself, shared fun stories about axe-throwing champions, and even created contests to make it extra exciting. He somehow convinced our family matriarch — who swore she wouldn’t participate — to give it a try… and she turned out to be a natural! The place was spotless, well-organized, and full of energy. Every single one of us left smiling. If you’re looking for something unique, family-friendly, and just plain fun, Grizzly Axes is the place.

Veterans Memorial Park in Pensacola is a serene and tranquil park that pays homage to America's military history. The park features numerous war and military monuments set around a peaceful pond where ducks and turtles can be spotted. It is a compelling place for visitors to reflect and learn about the sacrifices made by United States service members. Notably, the well-known Wall South, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., stands as one of the poignant monuments within the park.
I love this park. It's absolutely stunning and pays homage to all of the branches of the military. They even have a miniature version of the Vietnam Memorial Wall. It's beautiful and sad also to see soo many names and to know how many lives were lost. There are ponds and ducks, and everyone should stop by and really admire the beauty and the history.

We stopped by this area for an evening during our Florida trip. It is fine for what is is, a stretch of beach with a lot of bars, restaurants and shopping, but I tend to enjoy a more low key beach experience. It has a party town feel with a lot of bars, so not the most family friendly place in the world. The actual boardwalk was nice and very scenic.

Eclectic, fun, beachy restaurant. Has something for everyone. We ate inside and it was dark and quiet. The food portions and quality are fantastic! The drinks are yummy too. And be sure to check out the gift shop as it is surprisingly big and has many cool and interesting items. We didn’t stay for the live music but we did watch people playing volleyball. This is our new go to place, and if you’re staying on Pensacola Beach you can DoorDash food and drinks from Flounders too. All around great place!

Nature & Parks
Park
Bay Bluffs Park is a 42-acre nature preserve located along a scenic highway. It offers various features such as walking paths, pavilions, and striking views. The park's main attraction is the 800-foot boardwalk trail that challenges hikers with its crooked path through thick forests leading up to the beach. Despite Florida's flat terrain, this park provides an upward hike with great views over the water from the top of the bluffs.
Very beautiful, half way down there's a path that leads to the water

Beautiful place to walk! I would rate it 5 stars if it wasn't for the rampant graffiti. There is hardly a place on the whole boardwalk that wasn't covered in spray paint. It looks like it's been covered up multiple times, but to no avail. Still, a nice walk and a nicely upkept place. The graffiti served as a nice read while I was walking, I might admit. I would walk here again, but the graffiti means I could not walk here with smaller kids or anyone under 16. Great place for a workout though!

Really neat spot just off the road. Just have to walk down the Boardwalk, (definitely needs to be fixed in spots so be careful) walk down by the water and just a nice place to walk around and pick up seashells & different rocks. You do walk over some railroad tracks that are still being used so be careful.

Great beach access park they did an awesome job of building a huge boardwalk. Please keep it nice and do not spray paint all over it find something more intelligent to do. There's also a great workout station with pull up bar, sit up bench, and balance beam. Blackberry plants growing everywhere here, the thorny vines with the white-light pink flowers.

Really loved the boardwalk and the water access. Some stairs need repairs, so be aware. Graffiti adds a certain atmospheric touch, whether that is good or bad remains to the viewer. Nice niche spot to go for an easy walk.
Hannah H — Google review
At first, we thought this was going to be a short walk(0.8 miles round trip). The boardwalk descends downward, then travels along side the bluffs. We were able to leave the boardwalk and travel along a nice walking trail. Also, there were a few paths leading down to Pensacola Bay. We decided to walk along the beach. It was a cool day, but the views of the Pensacola Bay were worth it.
Tamara — Google review
There is nothing more beautiful than being out in nature and the Bluffs is really really perfect. With different levels of stairs for you to climb and look over the Bay, it's tranquil and peaceful. And then all of a sudden here comes the train right along the waters edge. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it with your family, guaranteed to keep the kids entertained and wear them out!
Ingrid R — Google review
Nice family activity! The walk is not too difficult and there is a lot to look at. Unfortunately, some people feel the need to write all over the boardwalk's railings, but it is still a beautiful walk. The walk is fairly kid friendly, but NOT stroller friendly due to the stairs and narrow boardwalk. The beach is hard to get to though because you have to leave the boardwalk.

Seafood restaurant
The Fish House is a popular seafood restaurant in Pensacola, known for its delicious menu and lively atmosphere. With over two decades of experience, the restaurant offers a variety of brunch and dinner options, including the must-try Duck and Waffles for brunch and the special Swordfish au Poivre for dinner. The casual waterfront eatery overlooks the picturesque Pensacola Bay and also features a bar with live music nightly.
Stayed till close the week of my birthday. Every meal we ordered was delicious. Stuffed flounder and Pecan crusted catfish were our favorites. The service was great. Enjoyed the oysters and the drinks! Had no room for the complimentary birthday dessert. I chose the Key Lime Pie. I ate it a few days later, and it was still yummy. I look forward to my next visit here.

Dropped by with friends while on vacation and loved it. Great food , attentive server and fun atmosphere. The seafood basket was outstanding! The fried shrimp excellent. My wife and her mother were going to split an entree and the server had the kitchen do it and presented two plates with the food already split! A very thoughtful gesture. The fried green tomatoes had a delightful flavor with just the right amount of spiciness. Definitely will return when back in thr area.

We have been Vacationing in Pensacola Beach 🏖️ area. We visited the huge restaurants on the Island-Founders & 🦀 Crabs. They were good. We needed another restaurant for our last night. We searched online for ideas. The Fish House stood out in our research. We decided to go visit The Fish House!! It was later dinner & they were busy. There’s a large porch though with plenty of waiting space. They have tons of outdoor seating. Huge patio spaces with cover & open air spaces. The marina is there. You are overlooking the Bay when seating outside. We were seated inside in one of their huge dining rooms. But our table was on a step area so it felt more private. There are huge Aquariums in the dining room with lots of colorful fish. 🐟 fun to watch all those fish 🐠! Service was amazing! Our Server did a great job take care of us all evening. We ordered 2 entrees. Fried oysters 🦪 -a dozen along with cole slaw, Gouda grits, & about a dozen hush puppies too! By the way, some of the best Hush Puppies ever! My husband loved his dinner. He said the Oysters 🦪 were perfect. Grits were delicious! I ordered Catfish lightly breaded in pecan meal. The big fillet came over Gouda Grits & fresh thin Green Beans. It was delicious! I would definitely order this again! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Several other items were on the menu I would try too. We will be visiting The Fish House on our next trip to the area! Can’t wait! Yum!

I’ve been coming to the Fish House for many years and have always enjoyed dining there or even just getting some drinks and sitting out on the back patio. The service is always good and the menu is imaginative and chef inspired. Sushi Rolls, fresh seafood, and lots of other options. I’ve been a big fan of the ya ya shrimp. A delicious treat of smoked Gouda grits and fresh gulf shrimp, fantastic! The location is right on the water and downtown adjacent to the port. If you’re looking for fresh give em a try you won’t be dissatisfied. I’ll definitely be back. Urban Cowgill 2009 - 2025

We went to The Fish House mid-day for an early dinner. We had a party of six with my two elderly grandparents. They had ramps outside the restaurant, so it made it easier for them to get in. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was cozy and inviting. The food was great! We got an assortment of different foods including the famous Grits À Ya Ya. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the Pensacola area!

The ambiance was good and so was the food. We at first were seated outside and it had an odor (my guess was that the water had collected under the patches of grass and it caused a slight odor), but when we asked to be moved to the inside, the staff was very hospitable and understanding. As to our meals, I had the vegetarian option, curried sweet potato, carrots and chick peas with bismati rice. It had a good flavor though it was lacking salt. The two friends I was with both thoroughly enjoyed their meals, a hamburger with fries and shrimp and grits. All in all a good experience.
Wanda C — Google review
Beautifully plated! You eat with your eyes first!! Unfortunately this dish was a big swing and a miss. What was supposed to be a glorious étouffée sauce ladled over the entree turned out to be an unflavored water like substance only. The fish was cooked properly but the overall dish was bland. The grits were bland….just meh! I know this place has the potential to do better but whoever plated this knew better .. the server and manager went to the back and checked the sauce and threw it out. Made new and brought me a sample of what should’ve been on the dish. It was excellent in appearance and taste which tells me the cooks knew in the back they shouldn’t have sent this plate out. management should’ve comped the entree entirely but chose not to .. flip a coin and decide for yourself.

Really lovely little spot to sit on the ocean. The patio is shaded in the afternoon and they have a ton of fans going, so even on a warm day it was a lovely experience. The shrimp and grits special -- Grits a Ya Ya -- was delicious, and I don't even typically like grits!

What sets this place apart is its interior adorned with thousands of signed dollar notes covering the ceilings and walls.
Memories to remember. Food is forever sumptuous. I may visit only 1nce however never fail my expectations for all the nice experience. Love it when eating while listening to actual performing at stage singing nice request songs from the customer. You need to visit early line is always getting longer. We’re visiting Pensacola for Fall break from Knoxville, TN. We ended up at McGuire’s twice - once for lunch and once for dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary. We were served by Stewart and Trisha and they were both phenomenal! The food was fantastic and the environment was magical - like you’ve stepped into another world. We would highly recommend a visit! 10/10!

Plain and simple... if you are in either Pensacola for the Original or Destin for the other location, you absolutely must visit and experience McGuire's. I've loved and enjoyed this place since childhood. Now a father living across the country, this place has become a favorite of my entire family! Don't be overwhelmed by the menu, take your time and figure out what you want. I don't know of anything that could disappoint. If you visit and leave hungry, it's on you! Spinach Artichoke dip appetizer is easily the best I've ever had anywhere and it keeps climbing from there. Don't skip the $0.18 bean soup. Price isn't "cheap" but you're gonna get more than what you pay for in reality.

A Must-Visit Gem in Pensacola! Every time my family and I come to Pensacola, McGuire’s is a non-negotiable stop and it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere wraps you in Irish charm and good cheer. This visit, we were serenaded by someone singing all the classics with that unmistakable Irish flair, adding a joyful soundtrack to our evening. The food? Absolutely exceptional. We ordered a ribeye, New York strip, fillet, and I had the white fish, each dish cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, the portions generous, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout. And of course, no trip to McGuire’s is complete without leaving our mark, stapling a signed dollar bill to a special spot on the wall, a tradition that never gets old. If you're anywhere near Pensacola, do yourself a favor and stop by McGuire’s. It’s more than a meal. It’s an experience filled with laughter, music, and memories. Highly recommend for a great time with family or friends!

I had the pleasure of dining at McGuire’s Irish Pub in Pensacola, and it’s an experience I won’t forget. The place has such a lively vibe, full of energy, with thousands of dollar bills hanging from the walls and ceiling that give it a really fun and unique charm. I went with the lamb shank colcannon paired with mashed potatoes and mushroom merlot gravy, and it was outstanding. The lamb was fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with flavor, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly. The portion was generous too, definitely a meal that leaves an impression. Service was just as great—our server Gabby was warm, attentive, and did a fantastic job explaining what makes McGuire’s such a one-of-a-kind spot. One heads-up: if you go on the weekend, don’t expect to get seated right away. It’s one of the most popular restaurants in town, so the wait can be long, but honestly, the food and atmosphere make it more than worth it.

This was the highlight of our vacation. The atmosphere is second to none and it's a place you must see to actually believe. Service and food we're amazing. We ordered the Corner Beef/Pastrami Reuben and it was the best Reuben we've ever had. Plus you can get a bowl of bean soup for an extra 18 cents (yes, cents) with any order. Soup was delicious and basically free. Highly recommend going at least once and I'm sure you'll want to come back again.

It’s a fun place to visit and the ride options are great. However, said rides are not well maintained and do require some work. More specifically the Go-Karts which are fun, but some are slow and some are fast making it hard to compete with each other. All that being said you can have fun at the place and it has its own charm to it.
Dinura F — Google review
I took my 7-year-old to splash City adventures in Pensacola Florida a couple of weeks ago. Although it wasn't terribly expensive they didn't inform us that she was not able to ride on many of the slides due to her height. If I would have known that she was limited to only one or two of the water slides I probably wouldn't have taken her to that one. A lot of the rides were not operational we were there during the day. I was told it was due to staffing. The park is relatively clean although if it was mine I would dispose of a lot of the trash that they have in different places of the park where the patrons can see it. We did have a good time but we're the kind of people that always make the best of a situation..

Trust the negative reviews! A friend invited me to go here and i tried my hardest to convince her to aviod it after reading reviews. Against everyones better judgement we decided to give it a shot. One of those “If its awful At least we’ll suffer together” type trips. And well we did just that. We suffered together. Waterpark only review: (Because the rides from the outside looked so sletchy I refused to let me child ride them) When purchasing the tickets they ended up being more than what it said online. When brought up to the staff they said they know but “they just wont update it.” (assuming management) We walked in 10 minutes after opening and there was trash everywhere on the ground. The bathrooms had no soap. The toddler kiddie area: half the area wasnt in operation. In the portion that was working the water animal pumps didnt work. The netting for the little slides where off on all of them. Minor complaint however just take them off so there not dangling in the water trapping little kids legs and feet! There were water bugs. The lazy river had nature debris in it. Not just a few leaves here and there. An abundance of broken leaves and other particles. You couldnt stand up without having them stuck all over your body. We noticed that filters in the lazy river werent on or work. In fact the water was so low that there wasnt even a way for the water to get into the filters. The tubes were half deflated. The slides where rusty and slimy. One of our children did say “the slides are fun but the water is NOT.” It was grossing our children out. Children who normally dont may much attention. One area had a traffic cone IN the water. EVERY area we went to the water wasn’t clean and had MANY MANY bugs in it. water bugs (one who feed off algae. The ones who wouldnt be there if the water was properly maintained). We walked over to the aarcade area for the concessions there. It took over an hour to get pizza. The staff working while they were nice you could tell they didnt want to be there and were very forgetful and not paying attention. Half the games we looked at where also out of order. The bright side was that the bathrooms in here had soap! The saddest part about the whole thing is that this place has so much potential if the owners would just give it some TLC! I kept thinking about how i bet the place was so fun and so cool back when it first opened. I could imagine the fun place it was. I really hope the owners read all the bad reviews and use it as constructive feedback snd make the changes necessary! Ohhh also when purchasing tickets the lady at the counter screamed at everyone to be quiet and then proceeded to tell everyone to make their family go outside and wait until the tickets where purchased. The whole trip was definitely an experience I’ll never forget!
Megan Y — Google review
The impression I got is that this place is going out of business soon and they’re squeezing the last bit of profit that they can out of it. We went there for laser tag but it was out of order (no biggie). There was some sort of leak in the ceiling. So we did go karts instead, which was fun. High school kids are running the place on a weekend, which is probably normal I guess. So many things are broken at this place. I gotta say we won’t be going back until the next business takes over.

Fun, Family-Friendly Spot with Great Staff — Minor Upkeep Needed We had a great time overall at Splash City! There’s something here for all ages, and our whole family had a blast — especially floating around the lazy river and going down the blue waterslide, which quickly became everyone’s favorite. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Special shoutout to Delo for being so welcoming, and to Jennifer, the manager, who handled everything with professionalism and kindness. It was also reassuring to see several lifeguards who were alert and actively monitoring their assigned areas. They offer plenty of chairs and tables for guests, along with a generous amount of shaded areas — especially appreciated by seniors and parents with newborns. The sand play area was also a great addition for little ones to enjoy. That said, there are a few things to be aware of. The locker rental machine wasn’t accepting cash during our visit, and the water in the slide pool area (where the four main slides drop into) was noticeably green and could use some attention. One of the large red slides was also out of commission due to a broken step. Some areas of the park appear worn down — with broken boards, exposed cords near buildings, and chipped paint on fencing standing out. While it didn’t ruin our experience, it’s something management might want to address for safety and appearance. Still, if you’re looking for a fun and affordable family outing, Splash City is worth the visit!
Tisha F — Google review
First 60 seconds of being in line for tickets, staffer or manager (unsure) yelled at all parents and children to, “Everyone get out that aren't paying for tickets!” Some parents and single parents yelled back saying they're not sending their kids outside with them. Tickets are sold by height. Second, the ticket prices online and the ticket prices at the park are different. They don't HONOR the price online and state, “Well, they haven't changed it yet!” Third, half the floats in the park are under inflated or flat. Fourth, we ordered food and it took 1 hour plus for our food. I was asked multiple times what we ordered because they forgot. The pizza was trash, undercooked and doughy in the middle and the staff was more interested in getting drinks themselves from the fountain machine than remembering and working on our order. Fifth, very few employees actually act nice and are helpful, the rest seemed not to care at all. Honestly, if I could give a negative star for here, I would.
Jacob S — Google review
If you’re looking for a post-apocalyptic amusement park experience, this is the spot. Most of the attractions were either broken, boarded up, or just sad to look at. The go-karts felt like they were built during the Cold War and hadn’t been touched since. Pretty sure one of them coughed when it started. The mini golf course? More like a soft, spongy lawn with some broken sticks pretending to be obstacles. Half the holes were missing anything remotely fun. One had what looked like a collapsed windmill and a squirrel living in it. And the bumper boats—oh boy. They’re floating… technically. They’re sitting in a greenish, mysterious swamp that smells like expired salad dressing and regret. I saw a frog take one over. No joke. Save your money, your sense of dignity. And save yourself. Burn your map if it leads here. Go home, hug your family, and be thankful you didn’t buy the “all-day pass.” Only good thing I can say is most of the people that work there were very polite and helpful. So if you’re looking for new friends you might find that here.

Laguna’s is a must stop every time I visit Pensacola. I recommend it every opportunity I get because of them. I really can’t praise enough. You have to stop here if you are visiting going to Pensacola Beach with kids. Entire staff is very friendly from the window to buy tickets, to the bar tender, the girls on the ropes course and the guys running the go karts, especially Walt. Walt was great with adults and kids! We stopped by on 8/4. The girls on the ropes were very engaging and making jokes with us. The guys running the go karts were so chill and engaging with customers. The entire staff made this a 5 star experience. My 14yo loved everything they had to offer. I didn’t see 1 kid unhappy on the 3 story ropes course and the go karts. The food and drinks were better than a few places nearby (ie Senor Frogs). We purchased a 4 hours pass on 8/3, which I highly recommend to maximize the fun. A storm blew in about 5 minutes later. They gave us a rain check for the next night. No pushback or anything. Seriously, they provide exceptional customer service. The atmosphere and offerings are perfect for a family with little kids and teenagers.

By far the best food on the beach. We went here as a backup option and we didn’t regret it. The set up is fun that you have options for the kids to play, adults to enjoy a drink and plenty of TV options to watch sports. They also have a lot events that going on. As for the food, The portion size is great and the food was served hot and fresh. Mahi Mahi was perfectly cooked with great seasoning. The burger was seasoned well and cooked fantastic with great fries. The chips and salsa kicked off with a bang with fresh hot chips and a very good salsa. The manager was the one who served us while also making the food and he killed it. Just an overall incredible place and highly recommend it.

Brought my kids and friends here for the adventure area. We paid 50.00 per person to have access to the zip line, splash pad and go carts. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We didn't purchase any food or drinks while here. Parking is kinda horrible though. Very tight spaces and if 1 person parks where they are not supposed to, it'll block in dozens of people.

They have two sides I only got to visit the Pensacola side but want disappoint. Closes at sunset, would have like to get some sunset photos.

Beautiful forrest on the coast. With pretty trails and a nice beach. A lot of wildlife.

We hiked 7 miles covering numerous trains within the park. The trail was nice, but a bit boring. Also, the sand on the trails - in many places - were quite loose making it somewhat difficult to walk.
Brian — Google review
The Breckenridge nature trail was a fun trail to hike through. We saw some wildlife. The observation point overlooking the bay was great. The visitor center was closed. Make sure to have bug spray on you to keep mosquitos and flies away.
Chene G — Google review
Regarding the NW portion of the park. There is a picnic area and bathroom facilities. The bathrooms were closed during my visit. It could have been due to the freezing temps the night before or just a season thing. The part of the trail I walked was mostly soft sand. At the first west boundary there is a gate and it appears this is a regular entrance for people. I certainly plan to revisit at a later date to explore the other parts.

Miles of trails for hiking or running. Mainly sandy, so extra workout.

Little confusing at first. There's a parking lot and close to it a trail to the bay. Nice sandy walk about 1/4-1/3 mile each way. Beach is really nice

Plaza De Luna Memorial Monument is a stunning waterfront park that pays homage to Spanish conquistador Don Tristan de Luna. Nestled at the southern tip of Palafox Street, this expansive area spans over two acres and features 1,200 feet of fishing space. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Pensacola Bay while relaxing on benches or picnicking on the lush grass lawn.
Free monument and bay view. Great for a short walk or sitting and enjoying the view! Apparently, it's a good place for locals to fish, too. Interesting historical plaque.

⭐️ Plaza De Luna Memorial Monument – Pensacola, FL I spent a relaxing afternoon here and really enjoyed the view. You can walk along the wooden deck by the water, take photos of the monument, birds, and seagulls, and just enjoy the breeze from the bay. There’s convenient parking nearby by the marina or on the surrounding streets (based on availability). Public restrooms are clean, and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Perfect place to take a break, watch the sunset, or just enjoy the peaceful vibe. 🌅📸🕊️ #Pensacola #Waterfront #HistoricMonument #Florida

Langdon Beach, located in the Fort Pickens area near the western end of Santa Rosa Island, is a popular destination within Gulf Islands National Seashore. This swimming beach offers seasonal lifeguards and amenities such as a picnic pavilion, bathhouse, and outdoor showers.
Made a last-minute plan to try the National Seashores on a warm February day, and to park at Langdon. It was very pristine, not a lot of people, and this is probably one of the prettiest beaches I've ever been to!! Langdon has bathrooms, picnic tables, and even an outdoor shower to get sand off.

Langdon Beach is a beautiful, quiet beach inside Ft. Pickens national park. The parking lot is right at the beach, with the water very close. Plus, there is a nice pavilion (with picnic tables) and restrooms.

Langdon beach is Peaceful and worth every penny! We paid $25 at the gate and got access to a more private part of the beach with hardly any crowds. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy quality time with loved ones. Hidden gem in Pensacola Beach! Otw to the beach we seen a air show they have every year about the same time.

A barrier island between the Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola Bay, Fort Pickens State Park and as part of it, Langdon Beach, is BREATHTAKING!! Serene, beautiful, peaceful! Scattered with Oak Trees, natural wonders, military remnants, tons of wildlife (deer, eagles in the season, shore birds, ospreys, turles, stingrays, etc). White sand beaches in either direction ont he gulf side and the bay side (not a great place for shell collecting). There are hiking trails on the beach, across the bay side, and in the Fort. $25 gives you 7 days of admission. A National Parks pass gives you free admission!

The Museum of Commerce, located on Zaragoza St in Pensacola, offers a unique glimpse into the commercial life of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The museum features a reconstructed streetscape with twenty different buildings showcasing various shops selling toys, hardware, music, household goods, and more. Visitors can explore an antique gas station and a traditional classroom designed to resemble a train station.
Coming from outside of the USA this was a pleasant surprise. A great historical place referencing Pensacola's past. I was here for the Radio Live event and it did not disappoint.

3/27/2025: Cute displays of old time businesses in Pensacola (or everyday America years ago). This was part of the ticket we purchased at the museum of history. They only have a few displays, but it was worth the time. Took us about 20 minutes to view.

This was the single most lamest exhibit I have ever stepped foot in ever. Kind of looks cool but has zero interactions and is just boring. The AC was kind of nice for a bit after a walkong tour of the historical village.

Florida has a habit of grouping smaller museums together in little complexes full of vintage items packed into historical buildings for a reasonable price and this one is no different. Its tough to measure these museums on their own since if you're visiting one its likely you're visiting all of them in the area. This museum focuses on industry and has a stem lab in it with tons of 3d printing equipment.

The Pensacola Ice Flyers are a professional ice hockey team affiliated with the Southern Professional Hockey League. They bring high energy and excitement to sports fans at the Pensacola Bay Center. The games offer comfortable seating, family-friendly atmosphere, and reasonably priced food and beverages. Despite occasional issues like delays due to ice or broken glass, attending a game is generally enjoyable for all ages. The upbeat atmosphere keeps the crowd engaged with fun camera moments, making it a great experience for families.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My family and I had an absolute blast watching the Ice Flyers play! The atmosphere was upbeat, and they did a fantastic job keeping the entire crowd engaged. I really appreciated how family-oriented the experience was, which made it enjoyable for all ages. One of the highlights was the fun camera moments, where they point out certain crowd members—always a great way to keep everyone entertained! One special touch that stood out was the ability to get a certificate for your first time attending the game. It may seem small, but it’s such a thoughtful keepsake that parents and guardians will cherish forever. Overall, a wonderful experience that we can’t wait to do again!

Took my son for his first hockey game and we had a PERFECT night of fun here!!! Parking was close and it was an easy walk. We got through security with no issues. We walked straight to our seats and watched a close game with a couple of pretty good fights. Memories were made!!!
Rachaelbeatsworld — Google review
Had a great time at the game. The seats were comfortable and fans were very active and loyal. The food and beverages were good and fairly priced overall. I enjoy that it is made for a family atmosphere and the arena requests you keep it PG with no obscenities and language. That said everything wasn’t perfect, at the game 2/19 that we went to there were issues with the ice that delayed the game an hour and then another 30 minute delay for broken glass. Also the merchandise booth was poorly designed and the lines to buy things were so long and delayed people walked away so the owners lost a lot of money. Also sizes for items not marked and people wasted time in line, nobody should wait 30+ minutes to buy n expensive jersey. Hated having to pay $12 to park too. Overall still had a great time.

Gallery Night Pensacola is a monthly event that takes place on the third Friday of each month in downtown Pensacola. Streets are closed to cars as the area transforms into a lively and vibrant celebration of art and culture. Local artisans showcase their work while visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere with themed events and highlighted artists.
Enjoyed the August Gallery Night!!! Great vibe! Great ambiance! Can't wait to go back when it's a bit cooler this fall! Found several beautiful pieces to add to my collection at really reasonable prices! Buy local art! The only negative thing I can say is parking was priced "Gallery Night Parking" and was absolutely ridiculous. I was shocked at how much we were charged to park for 3 hours. If these funds are being used to fund the things happening, recomend you share that with people so they understand where the money is going. I personally plan to scout out where to park next time so as not to be charged that enormous fee.

Fun evening at last nights gallery night (12/19)! My wife and went down for the first time since the pandemic hit. Nice to see the arts and craft exhibits, and enjoyed going into some of the downtown businesses, but PLEASE PLEASE rethink the food truck setup. Our existing trucks and fine restaurants should be able to handle the business demands. The temporary food truck setup along Palafox gives it the feel and look of a two bit county carnival….the generators for some were very irritating and detracted from the beauty of our downtown Christmas decorations!

SO much fun!! We had a group of 6 for a 30th Birthday and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our pedal trolley. Drew was a great host and DJ. We originally booked for an incorrect weekend (our fault) and we received a response very quickly with an update for the correct weekend. We brought our coolers but had plenty of stops for drinks we really didn’t touch much in our coolers. Definitely a must do in Pensacola!

You also will get a small discount at the local bars/pubs with your sticker. We recruited a local guy that hoped right on our trolley and helped us pedal. The Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, established around 1859, is a must-visit attraction offering guided tours and panoramic views from its top. The museum showcases local history and maritime heritage. Situated in the Pensacola Bay Area, visitors can indulge in various outdoor activities such as kayaking, birdwatching, and exploring the Gulf Islands National Seashore.
We did the sunset and full moon tour of the lighthouse and it was fantastic! Though it said sold out online, we were able to call and see if there had been cancellations the day of the tour and get in! We had a small group. Cheryl led an interesting tour around the keepers quarters and museum for us while Wanda provided a wealth of information at the top of the lighthouse. The view was magnificent. We had a gorgeous sunset and though the full moon was blocked by clouds, Wanda told us some local stories while we waited for the moon to come above the clouds. This lighthouse is so well maintained and full of history. The view is amazing. The staff was so great and we’re so thankful we got this experience!

This was a nice place to visit and see, especially for those who like history. The museum has a lot of information about how the lighthouse was maintained in the past. The admission price was a bit steep in my opinion (I think $9.50/person for those that aren’t seniors/military).

I am a big lighthouse fan and this one did not disappoint. Very well maintained. Well worth the 219 step climb to look out over the oldest city in the United States. The staff at the gift shop and on the grounds were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the lighthouse also.

Have to go onto the Navy base to get to the lighthouse. Once you get there the old light keepers house and grounds are a museum with lots of info and even a reading room to learn about lighthouses. After 177 steps the view is beautiful including the beach and naval airstrip where the blue angels are.

A must visit when in or around Pensacola. The view from the lighthouse is spectacular! It's even better if you happen to catch the Navy's Blue Angels practicing. The Blue Angels and Aviation Museum are directly across from the lighthouse.

Pretty cool lighthouse that let's you climb all the way to the top. It actually still works and is moving while you are up there. Their is a museum on-site of how the light keeper lived and worked on a day to day basis. Its just under $10 a person.

Pensacola Beach is absolutely breathtaking and one of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S.! The sand is so soft and white it looks like sugar, and the emerald-green water is crystal clear and inviting. Whether you’re swimming, paddleboarding, or just relaxing with your toes in the sand, it feels like paradise. What makes it even better is the atmosphere. It’s lively yet laid-back, with friendly locals, family-friendly vibes, and plenty of great spots to eat fresh seafood right by the water. The boardwalk is full of energy, but you can also find quieter stretches of beach to simply unwind and soak up the sunshine. The sunsets here are truly magical, watching the sky light up in pinks and oranges over the Gulf is worth the trip alone. Between the natural beauty, the welcoming feel, and the endless things to do, Pensacola Beach is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of relaxation and fun, this beach is second to none. 🌊☀️

This was a very inexpensive way to enjoy the air and the views of the beach. Buy a bracelet and you can peruse the pier until 10PM for whatever you desire. Fishing is abundant, the breeze is great, and the overall experience is pretty decent. There are plenty of trash receptacles that people actually use, meaning the walk is mostly clean. As well as many, many seating options the length of the walk but not at the end.

The pier is just like any other… A little crowded no matter what time of day you go and some people have no respect (loud music, smoking, yelling, swearing, setting up directly next to you). Nonetheless, it’s a gorgeous beach, the water is amazing and the sunsets are gorgeous. Within walking distance of multiple shops and restaurants, however I don’t recommend swimming around the pier as it is infested with jellyfish, especially in August, when I went you couldn’t even swim without probably getting stung. Definitely a cool place to check out!

Historic Fort Barrancas, located in Pensacola, is a well-preserved hilltop fort with a rich military history. Built in 1787 and fully established in 1844, it played a crucial role in defending the Gulf Coast. The fort features impressive brickwork, underground passageways, living stations for soldiers, and depots for weapons. Visitors can take daily tours to explore the fortress and the Spanish Water Battery while enjoying spectacular water views from the top.

Informative, and fun way to get a bit of walking in! The docent at the visitor center was welcoming and knowledgeable. He got us oriented and on our way quickly. Our kids are 6 and 2 and all steps/walking paths are good for them. The exterior had a lot of open space keep the 2 year old happy for running and exploring. We'll be back for sure.

We visited Fort Barrancas about 3 weeks ago because it is not only a beautiful historic place to visit but also a great place to take amazing pictures. We took my son there for senior pictures. These images are just the quick snaps I was able to get while the photographer was doing her thing. You will see my son had a little fun at the cannon posing as Captain Morgan lol. On a side note, my husband & I came here to take engagement photos back in 2004 & they turned out amazing as well. Another note I should mention is before going, is to check their hours of operation bc we showed up just before closing so we had to rush. Also, you can schedule a tour & get great historical info from the knowledgeable staff that works there as well. What a great city we live in to be able to be transported back in time for just a little while & slow down for a change even if it is just for an hour or two. I enjoyed the serenity of it all & didn't want to leave.
Skye H — Google review
Small but very well done, the National Park Service has done a bang up job making an old fort into a beautiful area to wander, enjoy the sunshine, wander the long corridors inside the fortifications, and receive a good education about how European conflicts as well as the American Civil War were part of the history of this area. Because of the beautiful open areas and underground tunnels, there's a bit for everyone, including those who like to watch jets and Navy trainer aircraft fly by. If you like history, be sure to spend time to read the various boards in the small but we'll organized visitor center.

As you might know by now, I love going to visit historic forts. This is inside the Naval Air Station. This one is an amazing fort, from its location to the role it played in history. I would say this is a must fort to visit. I would recommend you watch the 12-minute video they have available before you had out to see this historic place. Everything you will see will have a meaning, and you will then begin to imagine how things happened. What a beauty of a place. You really need to take some time when you are there. This is a place where you can't rush it. If you like these types of historic places, you will enjoy everything from the walls to the hallways to the design. I Know I am uploading pictures that might cause you to wonder why those pictures. Well, when you go there, you will say, oh I see why. I would come back here just because I think this is a cool place to visit.

Beautifully maintained fort that you can roam for hours if you choose. The history of this area is unique and worth learning about. Highly recommend stopping here and talking with the employees. Another fantastic historic American fort to bring the family to. It's safe and has a lot of neat places to explore. Make sure everyone who's an adult brings an ID. It's inside the Naval Base.

Fantastic National Park location. You can explore most of this fort on your own and also get a great view of Fort Pickens across Pensacola Bay. The ranger tour is available on the weekends and is well worth it to learn the how the fort was constructed and its history. Highly recommend the Advanced Readout tour if you are more adventurous. This second site (not far from the visitor center) is only accessible with the ranger tour and takes you through the abandoned structure complete with dark passageways and potential encounters with bats, snakes and other local fauna. Not suitable for young children. The fort is located on the Naval Air Station, so you will need to pass through a checkpoint and show ID to get to the fort. There is limited RV parking at the visitor center, so you may want to call ahead and ensure that there is space to park if you are driving a larger rig. The Junior Ranger program for this site is part of the larger Gulf Islands National Seashore booklet, but there are a couple of activities based on exploring the fort or walking on the .5 mile woodland nature trail near the visitor center.

Bistro
George Bistro + Bar is a chic and open eatery that offers New American cuisine, delectable desserts, coffee, and cocktails. The restaurant has garnered recognition as one of Pensacola's top dining spots. Run by the husband-wife team George and Luba Lazi, who draw inspiration from their travels in the South of France and their time in New York City before settling in Pensacola.
I love this place! I’ve already been twice in the past month—once for breakfast and once for dinner. It’s always packed, but I’ve been lucky with timing and managed to snag a table for two without a reservation. For breakfast, we enjoyed a refreshing non-alcoholic Hugo Spritz and the English Peas + Mint Ricotta. Both were a delight—light, bright, and the perfect way to wake up the palate. The ricotta was especially memorable: creamy yet delicate, with the peas and mint balancing each bite. We loved it so much we ordered it again at dinner. Speaking of dinner—the menu is outstanding. We went with the Grilled Lamb Chops and the Short Ribs & Mushroom Ravioli. Both dishes were phenomenal. The lamb chops were seasoned and cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, bursting with flavor. The herb-infused pearl couscous with lemon mint yogurt was an unexpected highlight for me: chewy, flavorful, and so satisfying. The ravioli was excellent as well, filled with creamy mushroom parmesan and topped with rich braised short ribs. Surprisingly, it was even better the next day as leftovers—the filling/sauce deepened overnight and became even more bold and comforting. These two dishes alone made the meal unforgettable. Honestly, before I leave Pensacola, I’ll be back at George’s one more time—just to grab the lamb chops and ravioli again, even if it’s to-go.

We were visiting in town for my partner’s work trip. Hannah took care of us and every thing was amazing. From her bubbly personality, top tier drinks, and to the chef’s amazing cuisine, you can’t go wrong. We started with the crab cake appetizer, my partner had the filet and I had the Alfredo Pappardelle with short rib on top. All of it was amazing. Great place, 10/10 recommend.

Wow! What a great place! We ate here for brunch on Sunday. Seeing the crowd of cars when we pulled in, we were hopeful that its popularity was an indicator of the food and experience. We were not disappointed! All of the food was of very high quality and expertly prepared and presented. The ingredients seemed super fresh as well. We ate on the outdoor patio and were able to enjoy beautiful fall weather! I want to give a special shout out to our server, Susan Z. She was one of the best waitresses we have ever had. Her friendly, outgoing demeanor immediately set us at ease. Her knowledge of the menu was excellent and was reflected in her superb explanations and recommendations! Her service made our meal that much more enjoyable. I would definitely request her when going back again! Strongly considering going back for dinner while we are here on vacation! It's a must-visit!

We come to Georges Bistro at least once a month (sometimes more!) because it’s truly that special. It’s our go-to spot for date nights—the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always top-notch. The waiters consistently take the time to explain the menu in detail, which makes the experience feel even more personalized. The food? Absolutely outstanding. We love the appetizers so much that we often order several and make it a tapas-style meal, though the entrées are equally incredible (and perfect to share). The flavors, presentation, and quality are worth every penny. As someone who has traveled internationally and eaten at many restaurants around the world, I can honestly say this is some of the best food I’ve ever had. Georges Bistro is a gem, and we’re so grateful to have it close by.

The carpaccio, pasta was excellent and the ribeye was perfectly cooked to liking. Manhattan was also super good! The snapper was ok! Dog friendly and the staff got us a dog bowl. Travis our server was also great! Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Love this place! I believe our waiters name was Zach and he was just wonderful and so knowledgeable! Best waiter we have had in a very long time. The portions were a little smaller than expected considering the price. The food is all made in house and top quality, however we did still leave hungry. We did have such a wonderful experience though and will be back, we will just be sure to order things off the menu that might be of bigger quantity.

A friend recommended George Bistro + Bar for dinner, and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service was top notch, and for the price point this beats out almost all other restaurants. As appetizers we got the Bone marrow and Octopus. They gave us 4 bones, which is way more than what you'd get at any other restaurant. And the octopus was cooked correctly, a perfect bite. The main courses were so good we didn't leave with any leftovers. The steaks were huge and the compound butter on top was the only thing needed. The short ribs were so tender and the ravioli pairing was a great complement. Even the scallops were perfectly seared. All in all, Georges is a must if you like great food at a reasonable price. We left very satisfied.

We loved everything! Got the duck and short ribs with ravioli and we were obsessed with both dishes. We tried the artichokes and bruschetta which were also amazing. It was my husbands 30th bday, we will definitely be coming back! We also got a piece of cheesecake for his birthday, great service, food and vibes!

O'Zone Pizza Pub is a laid-back spot that serves up a variety of classic and specialty pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and an array of beers on tap. The restaurant is known for its Roman-style dough and inventive flavors that set their pies apart. For example, the Ponderosa Stomp features bacon, roasted chicken, green peppers, red onions in a cheddar cheese blend with house barbecue sauce and honey drizzle.
The pita bread that came with the hummus was addicting and the pizza was great!! We got the pub pizza and nutty idea! The nutty idea was highly recommended to me by a colleague and I don’t regret getting it at all! The cashews give such a nice crunch and it tastes really good with the toppings. I like more veggies on my pizzas, so I would probably add some more veg to the original pie!

This place is Phenomenal! Absolutely Loved 💯 the Meatlovers Pie! The peach tea was delicious. Our waiter was Amazing! We sat in a side room with 3 young kids. I highly recommend this Pizza place and definitely will eat here again. It was thin crust and cooked to Perfection
Sue A — Google review
You ask Pensacola locals what the best pizza in town is, and O'Zone is sure to at least come up in the conversation. Close to being a city institution, this place is located inside an abandoned mental hospital, or something like that. Either way, the vibe is dark and cool, almost speak-easy like. And there's groovy artwork all over the walls and stuff. Very cool. Service was good. They let us move chairs around to accommodate our party size. Nice fella. The pizza itself was phenomenal. I hadn't had it in over a decade, so back then I was a literal child. Now that I've seen some stuff, I recognized the great pizza here. That, or they upgraded their recipe in the past 10 years or so. Either way. As for the pies, we ordered the Ponderosa Stomp and the Carnivore for the table. Both were very good. The sweet heat of the honey and the jalapeno just lovely, and the addition of the cream cheese, that traditionally pairs well with both those things, was just lovely. And the Carnivore was pretty good, too. It had a good array of meats, and not too meaty, just meaty enough. A nice pie. Overall, an excellent evening meal. Great pizza, great friends, and a new place for me to frequent when I come back home to visit.

Gluten free crust is very good. Not rock hard but airy & crispy. It was cooked perfectly and the gluten free cheese bread (same crust) was delightful with the garlic butter. Carry out was a 10min wait but it was fresh fresh! Will definitely order again.

The staff were pleasant and accommodating even though they were busy. The food was amazing. The spinach artichoke dip and flat bread is fantastic. My kids loved the ham and pineapple pizza and even ate the crust. The Greek salad was top notch. Everything was fresh and delicious we loved the vinaigrette. Then comes the ponderosa stomp. I've had a lot of different pizzas from alot of places. This might be my favorite. We got it with the cream cheese and jalapeños so so good. Highly recommended
Josh D — Google review
The pizza was edible. Not much flavor. The crust was very blah. The price for 1 large pizza, 1 Sprite and a side salad was $40. The service was okay. They serve can drinks so no refills. The best part of the restaurant is that it is an old hospital and has cool artifacts in the halls.

Amazing ! One of the things we enjoyed most. We saw fish, jellyfish, dolphins and pelicans . Wonderful for a hot day . There is air conditioning on the enclosed lower deck and beverages for purchase. We chose to stand on the upper deck and let the air off the ocean cool us. Beautiful! I would definitely make it a must do if you want an adventure! Fun for the whole family ! There is also a restroom on board!

We went on a excursion with City Ferry as part of the workplace event. The crew was full of smiles and they were very friendly, pointing out some of the sights that we might have missed. The ride was very smooth and enjoyable. There was a bar on board in case you wanted something to drink and the ship was very clean and presentable. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone in the area or passing through town.

History Museums
The Pensacola Museum of History, located at the University of West Florida, offers a comprehensive exploration of northwest Florida's history and culture. Housed in the historic Mediterranean Revival architecture of the former Pensacola City Hall, this flagship museum features exhibits, artifacts, and programs that showcase Pensacola's rich heritage since 1559. Visitors can explore timelines, view famous ship anchors like Don Tristan DeLuna's, and experience rotating exhibits on the second floor.
On February 1, 2025 me and my wife visited the Pensacola Museum of history. Virtually no one was in the museum which was absolutely find with us as we had the entire place to ourselves with maybe 2 other couples. The entire museum was very quiet and peaceful. I have been to a lot of museums and I will say while this museum isn’t huge it does have a lot of artifacts that you can interact with and get up close to. The staff if very polite and the pricing of the museum was very cheap. We spend approximately 3.5 hours taking in every exhibit in the building and even got to play some ping pong on the third floor. Though we will probably only come back if we bring the kids once you have seen everything I probably wouldn’t come back unless something big came here. Well worth he the price, rich history of the city settlement in America, recommend everyone take time to visit the museum

3/27/2025: Good information about Pensacola and laid out nicely with displays, 3 stories, and separate rooms. We bought the ticket for the full historic district tours. It was $12 per adult ($7 for kids) and you can use the ticket for 7 days. I reviewed each piece separately for a better understanding of what you see in each section. I’ve been vacationing in Pensacola Beach since 1975 when I was a baby. I’m glad I finally got some history of the place I love so much!

This museum offers a unique glimpse into the history of Pensacola and its people. Known as the “City of Five Flags,” Pensacola has a rich story, and this museum gives a clear overview of the major steps in its past. It’s easy to explore for kids, though younger ones might find it less exciting since there’s a lot of reading across the two floors. If you want to dive into Pensacola’s history, it’s a great starting point. There’s also a charming museum store with unique items … and the little bar is absolutely adorable.
Sari — Google review
While In Pensacola for a work trip I stumbled upon this absolute gem when I had some free time. There is a tremendous amount to see and learn. Tickets are only 12 dollars and there are a few guided tours each day. I was lucky enough to go on one of these tours with Chase as my tour guide. For over an hour I got to go into 3 different historical houses and a church to learn about the area’s history and notable residents. I was the only person attending the tour but nevertheless Chase was awesome in giving me the full guided experience. Getting to actually go into the furnished buildings and learn about the history was a truly unique experience. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Pensacola.
Haley H — Google review
Most fun of any museum visit today! The lady at the front desk was wonderful and the 3 story exhibition is a great mix of history, culture and fun. Especially enjoyable are the sports section that includes original Roy Jones Jr. Memorabilia as well as the history of ping pong as well as the recreation of Traders Jon's Bar. There is so much there to stimulate the senses and decades of war things to enjoy. Plus I have to add that the price of admission is very inexpensive.
Michael R — Google review
I like the design of museum and how inviting it is as you walk up. It’s not cluttered and it’s well organized. There is a nice store to purchase souvenirs and other items. I like that the way the history is displayed and I loved the exhibit on 3rd floor; Black Politicians During Reconstruction. I appreciate this display because it’s a very important part of US history. I also LOVE the Trader Jon’s display. It’s set up as his restaurant. He was a very interesting man and they think he had the most rides with Blue Angels as a civilian. I think he didn’t charge for anything but traded with those in military. And he treated all the same regardless of rank. Seems like a great man! I highly recommended visiting this museum if in the area. Don’t forget that you purchase a $10 ticket at the Museum of Art and can visit all museums. It last 7 days. The ticket on Sunday is half price because only 3 museums are open; Children, Art and History. But only good for that one day! You have to go see what this city had to offer!

Pensacola historic district has several muesums including the history muesum and its all for $12. The ticket is good for all muesums for 7 days. The muesum of history was three floors and I loved how detailed everything was and the staff was so sweet. Definitely worth a visit!

The industrial-style space pays homage to the coastal landscape of Pensacola, with its rustic-chic design and dynamic selection of fresh beer styles. The brewery features a vast warehouse-style room and bar within a historic building adorned with vintage architectural signs.
Such a cool brewery conveniently located right near all of the good stuff in downtown Pensacola, FL. Our bartender Stephanie was super helpful in helping us choose beers that we would like, and their merch selection was great! Definitely a brewery that I would love to visit again!

My husband and I stopped into Perfect Plain while brewery hopping in Pensacola, and it was my favorite one of the day. We got a couple of flights to try multiple beers, and they were all very good. Added bonus: they had televised pig races on TV. I don't know if the pig races are a standard occurrence, but it certainly made for an entertaining afternoon.

Most breweries in Pensacola close at 10 pm. The fact that they're open until midnight on Thursday and 1 am on Friday and Saturday is 5-stars for me! I only had their lime lager on my quick visit, which tasted good.

July 2025 - Are any beers made on premises any more? I saw so many Urban South kegs, it looks like the beers are coming in from New Orleans. And from where I sat, the power to the brew line was shut off. Doesn't look like any brewing is going on here. The beers are decent, but are you really a local brewery any more? October 2022 - Great beers served in a superb downtown location. Big fan of their Buzzer Beater!

The Museum of Industry in Pensacola offers a fascinating look into the city's industrial history, showcasing the evolution of lumber, transportation, brick making, and fishing. Housed in a building dating back to the 1870s, originally belonging to the Pensacola Ice Company, this museum is filled with artifacts and exhibits that depict how these industries contributed to the city's growth in the 1800s.
Closed on NYE, but there’s a really neat old train out front. I’d love to go back and see the museum when it’s open, though you can walk by and experience some of historic Pensacola.

I really enjoyed this museum as I had never seen equipment used in the older sawmills. It’s self guided and you can take all the time you like to walk through. It’s located in the same area as Lavelle House, Old Christ Church, Museum of Commerce, and Julee Cottage. The museum is put together very well and larger than I expected. Florida has a habit of grouping smaller museums together in little complexes full of vintage items packed into historical buildings for a reasonable price and this one is no different. A little history and a bit of relaxation. The perfect combination. It's worth drive to see and explore the old fort and to see the beach with less hustle and bustle. Just the simple beauty of the beach the way it once was. There are bathrooms and a good path to get you closer to the packed sand. The water was super clear and the sunset was lovely. There are tables in the pavilion so you can have sand free sandwiches 😁. There's also a shower to rinse off all the things on the path out. We will definitely be back.

I love this park! It is a walk away and has two different dog parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, work out area and lots of trails. Add in boat ramps, senior center and a new community center and it is amazing. Only big downer is the water quality of the Bayou. The Dog Beach would be so much better if you didn’t have to worry about your dog getting sick from the water.
Renee H — Google review
My dogs had so much fun here! It was a nice beach and clean. There's a house station where you can spray off and bowls for water. There are two gazebos with benches for people to sit. The is a very nice bathroom facility just outside the gate as well. Overall a fun time.
Carrie M — Google review
The park was really nice. There are picnic tables along the water. They have bathrooms for all and also a boat dock. Also a dock out over the water for fishing or just enjoying a stroll.
Belinda C — Google review
Great park in general. It is nice over looking the water. Good things to play for the children, to take your dog to run around dry or wet where they can play on the water. It's nice that they have things for the kids to run around with. But I think it would be nice to get overhaul and fix this park. People can reserve a spot for tables for pinics or parties. Plenty of parking spaces. Great place to launch your boat. It's a nice park and I think it could use a facelift from over the years of neglect. Hopefully when this place gets renovated, they will replace some of the play area.
Azn — Google review
This park was awesome! While visiting the area we came here several times with our pups. There was a dog friendly beach along with other fenced in dog areas. Their was a big walking path, tennis courts and a workout area. We had a great workout after walking the dogs. Plenty of parking. Restrooms were outside of the community building.

Named after the 7th president Andrew Jackson, this bar boasts an impressive collection of 750 whiskies and expert bartenders who are knowledgeable about whiskey and bourbon.
Great atmosphere and drinks, well served and displayed. Keaton was very personable and great company. Highly recommend for any bourbon/scotch drinkers! Great selection and price. Cheers

This place is quickly becoming our go to on our date nights. Their summer seasonal menu is phenomenal with something for everyone! My personal favorite is the five flags which is spicy in the best way. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place without tv screens and a more intimate feeling.
Jasmine — Google review
Old Hickory Whiskey Bar never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and perfectly suited for a relaxing evening. The dim lighting, candle glow, and shelves lined with bottles give it that classic, almost timeless feel. I ordered a pour of Lagavulin 16, and it was served with care. It was the kind of attention you expect from people who genuinely appreciate good whiskey/scotch. The staff knew their stuff and made great recommendations without being pushy. It’s not a place for food, but it’s a place for conversation, good company, and enjoying a drink the way it’s meant to be enjoyed. One of those bars that makes you slow down and savor the moment.
Isaiah K — Google review
We went here for pre-dinner drinks and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bartender even made me a cocktail version of their Dickle with a Pickle shot and it was delicious!

There are tons of places to get fun cocktails, several places to get fine cocktails, a decent amount to get nice cocktails, a few places to get top notch cocktails, but only one place to get the friggen best in Pensacola.

Big Lagoon State Park is a waterfront park offering a variety of outdoor activities. It's part of the Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddling Trail and the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail, making it a great spot for bird watching with over 23 species of wood warblers. The park spans more than 700 acres on the mainland, providing opportunities for boating, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and swimming.
What a nice park! It has nice hiking trails, most of the sites are secluded with trees in between so we had our privacy. The bathrooms are very clean and we saw the camp host cleaning the sites as soon as they were empty. The National Park on the beach is about 4 miles away so not far by car. No easy pedestrian way to access it but if you have the National Park pass it’s free to go in. The beach is miles long and very few people on it. It was great. Pensacola is also pretty close so we could see the Blue Angels fighter jets practicing. Very cool!!
Chantal G — Google review
Beautiful large state park with plenty of amenities. Boat launching, camping, bike riding, kayaking and paddleboarding. Kids playground, picnic areas, bathrooms and areas to swim. Quiet, shared space with nature.
Dani C — Google review
We enjoy this park. It's 6$ per vehicle to come here but lots to do and see. See plenty of wildlife- birds and turtles, fish. Lots of trails thru out and a nice playground for kids. There is a boat ramp here as well and a place to self service rent kayaks or paddle boards! Pretty cool. We like the boardwalks, the water views. Lots of picnic tables with great views. Some grills for use and bathrooms available. The lookout tower is always enjoyed. Beautiful out here.

Rented the Govenor's pavilion for club picnic. Large and has grill and plenty of seating on two levels. Bathroom just off of pavilion. Scenery and grounds very nice.

Big Lagoon State Park on Gulf Beach Hwy in Pensacola is in the Florida State Parks system. We drove there as day visitors, and while we wanted to see the campground, this is being renovated since Feb 2025. Upgraded facilities are always a good thing down the road. So we walked trails and saw the sights. In mid-November, it’s cool, quiet, and very natural. You can hear birds and the breeze blowing through a variety of trees. Saltwater tidal marshes and pine flatwoods apparently attract a wide variety of birds, but we didn’t see that in Nov. The park offers bicycling, swimming, boating, fishing, camping, hiking, paddling, picnicking, star gazing opportunities, walking/hiking trails, wildlife viewing, and wedding space. Amenities include beach space, a boat ramp, campfire circles, canoe kayak launch, picnic facilities, and a playground. Their restrooms along the areas we walked are really nice and very clean. They have changing space for after a swim. You will be walking along boardwalk areas for short walks and through sand for full hikes. The three story observation deck is very nice and offers views for miles around. There’s a lot to do here. It’s a lovely state park, very clean and well managed. The entry fee for the day was $6 for our car, which is cheaper than my Starbucks drink this morning. Dogs are allowed, just not in all the areas. You’ll see the signs. Our only issue was the stickers the dogs stepped on. I would say dogs do better on the paved/wooden trails than off in the grass.
Amanda M — Google review
Favorite park to walk. Nice wooded areas with sand trails throughout, and access to the water whether it be the shoreline or the marshy areas more inland. Very nice at sunset and always plenty of wildlife to see.
Landon H — Google review
We enjoyed hiking and climbing up the observation tower. Staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Great Park. Very quiet and everyone very nice. Lots are private but be careful when you book to get a spot that will accept your size rig. We were in spot 63 and have a 32' fifth wheel. Very tight to get in due to surrounding vegetation but got her in. Entrance to campsites are 1 way road. Beach small but nice. Trails are great. No sewer hookup so be aware of that, there is a dump on the way out. Will be back again for sure! Would give 5 stars if we had sewer hookup.

Came over from Perdido Key and the bird sanctuary experience was absolutely well worth the short drive! Highly recommend! Staff was very informative regarding feeding instructions and safety. Birds were positively beautiful, talkative, and clearly enjoyed interacting with everyone. Super memorable experience at this non-profit sanctuary ran by volunteers. A work of heart definitely worth supporting! Check it out!
CASEY B — Google review
We had a great time visiting today! The gentleman that greeted us and went over how to feed the birds was very friendly. The birds are characters and we really enjoyed them! Will definitely come back!
April M — Google review
We had the best time here with our kids 1 to 7 years old! The folks who run the place are so kind and helpful teaching the kids how to interact with and feed the birds safely. Many of these parrots talk and the children were absolutely delighted. There are peacocks that roam around that are safe for even the babies to feed. This will be a regular destination for us on our yearly beach trips. So happy we stumbled across it.
Alyssa B — Google review
Absolutely fantastic. We decided to visit the Bird Park over the Gulf Breeze Zoo and we were not disappointed. It's a bit shabby looking but they have a lot of love for what they do. We were shown with great care how to feed the birds. The birds are all beautiful and many are quite talkative. It's a great place to visit!

It does not look like much from the front. Then you enter the park and holy cow. We spent 3.5 hrs there. Today is a day we will remember for ever! If you get to Pensacola, FL Uncle Sandy's MAKAW Park is a must see. We all loved it so much. All the birds are rescued and adopted. They live so long many their owners have died. We love hearing them talk. One told Brian to "Shut Up". To see our Adventure at the park tune in to RV Plus 10™️ season premiere on Roku this January!
FOSTER L — Google review
I visited the bird park this weekend with my 11 year old daughter and my mother-in-law. We probably spent about an hour interacting with and feeding the birds. They had a lot of personality, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly and warned us that the birds will bite. The owner showed us the correct way to feed the birds without getting bit.
Melia T — Google review
This place is absolutely amazing! Me and my family went and saw uncle Sandy’s bird watching place through a travel website, and it’s one of the coolest things ever! The birds are so happy and healthy and very fun to talk too. My favorite bird was lulu, she is very sweet and says “hello” in an old British lady accent lol. There are so many interesting and exotic birds and I think it’s beautiful that they are rescued and being treated well. Me and my mom got to keep a peacock feather and we are very glad we came here! This is a must see if your visiting Pensacola or if you never been here before, I’d totally come here again!
Milana G — Google review
Absolutely a hidden gem! We love going to animal rescues and getting a chance to interact with the animals. The volunteers were friendly, and the man at the gate definitely made us feel welcomed. He showed us how to feed the birds, told us a bit about each section/how to feed the different birds. He even offered his sympathy when he found out we were from Lake Charles, LA- the site of two massive hurricanes in 2020. I 100% recommend this non-profit bird rescue. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back. 💜 (I only took a few pictures because we were having so much fun!!)

Perdido Key State Park is a stunning 247-acre barrier island with untouched dunes and expansive white-sand beaches. It offers various amenities such as picnic shelters, restrooms, parking, shower stations, and accessible facilities. Visitors can enjoy activities like hiking, fishing, swimming, and learning about local flora and fauna at the nature center. The park's Perdido Key Trail is a popular hiking spot.
We stopped along the beach and road for a few hours. This Is a beautiful Beach with clean restrooms. And picnic tables under shade. The sand actually SQUEEKS under your feet! Due to high quartz content.

Amazing shells! There were four outdoor showers but only 1.25 of them worked. Two out of four did not work at all and the third one only had the foot shower part working. There are restrooms. I didn't use . It is a beautiful white sand beach, relaxing. I saw a lot of birds an osprey a group of brown pelicans and I even saw a small stingray
Coco B — Google review
The park was at the Gulf. It was nice and clean. The beach was wonderful. If you went down the road to the West, on the right side of the road, they had a trail and you could get in the water on the sound side. It had no benches or tables on this side of the park. You would need to bring a blanket or something to sit on It cost $3 per vehicle. Other parks nearby had more things though.
Belinda C — Google review
Beautiful small area. Clean portable toilets. Nice walkway suitable for those who may have trouble walking.
Walter W — Google review
This beach was very clean, clear, and beautiful. Which, don't let it fool you, can and is at times very deceiving, so make sure to pay close attention to the flags up at the beach. The purple flags mean there are stinging creatures in that area. The jelly fish were extremely dense. Like at most roughly 3-10 feet of clearing/ gaps between them, and I mean everywhere. To be prepared, there is a spray, I would recommend having on hand to help with the sting just in case. Red, yellow, or green flags indicate how dangerous the rip tide is in the area at the time. This is much more dangerous than the risk of sharks and or jellyfish by far in my opinion. No matter how strong of a swimmer you are you need to educate yourself and your loved ones when visiting any beach to have a safety plan in place or to avoid certain areas during certain times. There was a shark we saw one morning that looked to be roughly 8- 10 ft in length cruising the surf too. So make sure you enjoy yourself when visiting anywhere and everywhere, but also be aware of the different kinds of possible dangers that are very real when taking in all of the amazing, beautiful, and breathtaking things god, nature, and man has to offer. Be sure to try to truely understand also how the danger and risks differs from place to place, but don't be to quick to judge anyone or anything based upon your findings or what you understand to be true. Keep a open mind, enjoy the time you have, and be safe because life is too short.
Matthew — Google review
Clean beach with easy parking. We saw dolphins, manta rays, jelly fish, fish, and crabs! A true beauty.

The Gulf Islands National Seashore is a popular tourist destination for its natural beauty and recreation opportunities. The park stretches across 160 miles of coastline, with white-sand beaches and lagoons backed by the coastal marshes and maritime forests. There are dozens of hiking trails, as well as kayaking, fishing, biking, birdwatching, and sightseeing cruises. The campgrounds are open from mid-May to November, with hookups available year-round.
This national seashore is a gem! Miles and beautiful shoreline that is pristine. Touring Ft Pickens was educational and very interesting!

I always go to fort Pickens when we come to Pensacola beach. The store has some cool souvenirs and walking around looking at the place is nice. We always go to the end of the islands to watch the blue angels practice.
Debbie P — Google review
The fort, the pier, gift shop did not disappoint. The views, the Gulf, the Beach were easily accessible and the water was perfect! The campground was clean, however the bathrooms were dated and not air conditioned. No sewer so bring an external waste tank. In summer months, it will be hot, not many sites with trees for larger RVs. Overall, a great location for beach and family time.
Ernie S — Google review
Awesome campground with showers, restrooms, dumpsters and all hookups if needed. Trails leading to all the historic sites on the island and to white sand beaches and a short drive to restaurants and stores.

I grew up in Mobile, Alabama and went regularly to dolphin Island, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. About 10 years ago I caravan with some friends over there to the Fort Pickens national seashore Beach area and fell in love. It is my favorite place on earth.
Latisha S — Google review
Great beach. Perfect sandy shore, amazing water, lots of fish. Saw dolphins, too!
Monika K — Google review
This is a must-see if you are in the pensacola area! The fort is in pretty good shape and takes a little time to explore everything. It's full of historical placards that give you a perspective back in time from the soldiers to the enslaved prisoners. Also, the beaches in the park are the best beaches in the area, no buildings, no high-rise hotels, no rental chairs taking up the entire beach. Don't get me wrong by noon it's lined with people, but not everywhere. I was able to get some good shots without people or things in them. If you are into history, 10 out of 10 recommend visiting. Unfortunately, if you have difficulty walking on uneven surfaces or steep steps, there will be places you'll have difficulty with. Outside the fort is sidewalk, and inside the fort is brick.
Ashley S — Google review
We are local to the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast! Visiting the Fort and the park is always a treat. It’s a great place to watch the Blue Angels practice as well. If you like to camp I highly recommend their campgrounds, but check vehicle height restrictions prior to booking. We treasure this beautiful sanctuary and it is a must see for anyone that can make the trip! We buy a Gulf Islands Park annual pass and use it to visit several other areas, including Johnson’s Beach.

The venue is known for its reasonable concessions offering various food items and drinks. Visitors can also find vendors selling different products at standard prices during events.
Amazing venue with lots of restrooms and places to grab snacks and drinks. Was there for the ice flyers on peanuts night and had an awesome time. Definitely a great place to hold events as well as hockey games.

I went for a hockey game. It was difficult to hear the in-arena announcements. They opened the doors only 40 minutes before game time which didn't give me a lot of time to stand on line for concessions. Lines were pretty long.
Jason B — Google review
Had a great time here for Passion Grace and Glory tour, very easy venue to navigate and get around and good views. Seats could be better little narrow and not as much support for us older “full body” folks. Also the venue doesn’t have enough parking if it’s full so park there first and then go eat and come back

Great venue with a perfect mix of energy and organization. The staff keeps everything running smoothly, from parking to concessions, and the atmosphere always feels electric no matter the event—concerts, hockey games, or expos. Efficiently processed into the building, except I hate those ramps to get in. I barely make them with several pauses, so I took the elevator to get upstairs but completely out of question when leaving. Very painful in the cold by the time I got to the bottom. Too bad there’s no way to ask those who are physically able to take the ramp or build a second elevator. I suppose MORE able bodied would just jump on then
