Bear's Paw Bakery is a cozy spot in Jasper, offering a warm atmosphere with wood paneling and serving up delicious house-baked pastries, breakfast items, and coffee. It's a local favorite and popular among visitors as well. The bakery offers an array of freshly baked goods including muffins, cookies, cakes, artisanal breads, sandwiches, and wraps. While it has limited seating inside, it's worth stopping by for a delightful breakfast or lunch experience.
Bear’s Paw Bakery is hands down one of my favorite spots in Jasper. I have been coming for years and it’s definitely a family favourite. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the comforting aroma of freshly baked goods and rich coffee — it’s the kind of place that immediately feels warm and welcoming. The location is perfect, right in town and easy to find whether you’re a local or just passing through on your Rockies adventure. The space itself has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it ideal for grabbing a morning coffee, a quick bite, or even just relaxing for a few minutes with something sweet. It’s clear that everything is made fresh daily — from the flaky croissants and buttery scones to the hearty breakfast sandwiches and mouthwatering desserts. The coffee is excellent every time — rich, smooth, and brewed just right. Whether you’re a fan of a classic drip, espresso, or something more indulgent, they’ve got you covered. The staff are always upbeat, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Even during busy hours, they’re efficient and kind, creating a positive experience every single time. It’s rare to find a place that nails great food, coffee, service, and atmosphere all in one — but Bear’s Paw Bakery does just that. If you’re in Jasper, this place is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it enough!

We came on a Friday morning at around 10am. There was a line of people, but the line goes pretty fast. They have a microwave inside to heat up pastries if you choose. We saw a sign to order online and pick up at their outside window, so we did that. We got a cinnamon bun, a maple pecan Danish, and a garlic cheese stick (no picture because we finished before taking a picture). All of them were very good, not too sweet. The Danish texture is less flaky and feels more like a biscuit? But still good. Not a lot of maple on it, just a touch of sweetness.

This bakery is a Jasper gem. The baked goods are delicious with a variety of coffees and teas. I did feel a bit rushed as there were so many customers and the staff was trying to move people along, I couldn’t see the selection behind other people until someone moved and then I didn’t have a chance to order it. Despite this, excellent baked goods, lovely little shop.
Sherry D — Google review
This review is based on a single visit. This is apparently a very popular bakery in Jasper. While we were there, we learned that this bakery has loyal local customers, visitors returning for more treats, and first timers (like us) who had heard of the deliciousness created here. At noon on a summer Sunday, the bakery was full of customers. All the tables and counter space were occupied with visitors, sipping their drinks and having pastries. The line was almost out the door. We don't know if this is normal, but for us this is how it was. There were plenty of young and friendly staff to handle the workload. Everyone was hustling about, filling orders and making sure that the customers were taken care of well. We did not wait in line long before we placed our orders. We got a couple of pastries and regular drip coffees. The pastries were OK. We suspected the pastries would have been better right out of the oven, but that's more of a timing thing than a quality thing. The medium and dark coffees we had were excellent. Excellent. We neglected to take note of the name of the coffee we had. However, we believe they were local to the area. The seating area inside the bakery was full. There were small tables and counter space for customers. There's also some seating outside, but not very much. For the bakery, that's a great problem to have, a bakery full of customers. For customers, however, it could be a problem if you wanted to have a place to sit and enjoy the pastries. We took ours out to the parking lot across the street and eight off the bed of our truck. We're used to it, and to be honest, we preferred it. The parking lot across the street from the bakery is more than enough to handle the customers that visit. If not, there's street parking available. However, everything is "paid parking" so keep that in mind.

We tried a few things here but the clear and undeniable winner is their STICKY CINNAMON BUN. You'd think you'd miss the creamy frosting of a cinnamon role, but this beast when warm is just a gooey caramelly masterpiece. The other pastries we tried leaned towards dry but no issue with the sticky bun. VERY popular spot in town so expect to wait in line 15 minutes or so, or I gathered you could order online for pickup outside quicker.
Nicholas K — Google review
Gets very busy in the mornings because it’s a very small space, but this is a nostalgic place for my family and I so we don’t mind! Used to live here about 2 decades ago, and the baked goods are a bit dry (depending on what you get), but generally are as good as I remember. the variety is great, and the service is very efficient! Only unfortunate thing was that their drinks just taste like milk. We had a chai and London fog, and both just tasted like steamed milk with a very very faint flavour. The addition of the chocolate on top is always nice though!

We went to this café right after breakfast, around 10 to 10:30 in the morning. Unfortunately, by the time we got there most of the breakfast sandwiches were already sold out. They only had one left, which we ordered. It was actually really good — fresh bread, good flavor, and you could tell their bread and pastries are baked in-house. We also tried a pastry that was rolled in caramel, and it was delicious. The café had a microwave too, so you could warm up your pastry if you wanted, which I thought was a nice touch. I especially liked the caramel and cinnamon combo, and overall, all the baked goods we tried were fresh and tasty. The only real disappointment was the muffin. There were four of us, and none of us liked it. It was very dense, kind of dry, and just didn’t have good flavor. I’m not sure if it was an off recipe or maybe just not fresh, but it was definitely the weakest item we tried. The coffee was fine, nothing special, but totally acceptable. The café itself had a nice atmosphere, and the baristas were great. They were attentive and friendly. The only thing that felt off was the cashier, who seemed to be rushing through orders a bit too much. It made the interaction feel a little uncomfortable. Overall though, still a good spot.

I recently visited Bear Paw Café in Jasper Downtown, and it was such a happy experience! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and they offer a wonderful variety of food and coffee. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend trying their pizza pretzels and croissants—both were absolutely amazing! With great options, friendly vibes, and quality food, this café is definitely a must-visit in Jasper.

Great breakfast!! Fun atmosphere and caring staff. We came here twice because Harvest was so good! The French toast is the best in Canada, according to my 86-year-old mother who orders it everywhere she goes. They have gluten-free options, and all the salads and vegetables taste freshly-picked and delicious.

Very nice and quiet place to have a great meal. We went to try their elk and bison and we we were not disappointed. Both made on point thanks to our server who kindly explained that both elk and bison are recommended to be cooled less so they stay tender. She was absolutely right. She came to our table many times to check on us and refill our water. We really enjoyed our lunch date at Harvest and would totally recommend trying the local dishes.

My favorite place in town, with the best customer service! I love everything here, my recent brunch here was phenomenal. I had the load avocado fancy toast and it was perfect, the eggs were pushed perfectly, the bacon was crispy and thick, and the potatoes had the perfect amount of crunch. My girl had the Kale and potato hash, I've never been a fan of kale but I would've devoured that dish. A perfectly poached egg, the kale was crunchy and with the house made lemon hollandaise went perfect with the mushrooms, potatoes and red peppers. Outside seating was great, I had my dog, my girl, and amazing food and service. Even the coffee was amazing. I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch or dinner.
Chris — Google review
We had breakfast here the last morning of our trip. We were delighted to find a fully vegan option. Was very filling. The caramelized onions on the avocado toast had the most perfect tang. The espresso and Americano we had were the best coffee we had the whole trip. We had to get 2 more coffees to go!

Stopped in here for brunch and were incredibly satisfied with our service and meals. The staff were friendly and attentive. We walked right in and didn’t have a wait. Our lattes tasted great and mine had the cutest bear latte art. We got the short rib poutine, which I couldn’t stop talking about through the rest of the day. And to top off our great experience, the staff was so helpful and accommodating when I realized several days later that I had left my purse at the restaurant. They offered to mail it back to me in the US and did so the same day I realized I had called about leaving it. Great people all around!

Must stop in Jasper. Food was excellent and service good. We came for lunch, ate some incredible sandwiches, and left happy. The short rib dip stays solid and crunchy even after you dip it.

OMG! Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS & the service was excellent!!!!! We shared the short ribs and the elk bits, I wish there was more than 4 for the Elk bits but their were delicious. The creme brule was perfectoooooo. Their North 54 drink was definitely worth the $. Highly recommend, will be coming back 1000%. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

Coco's Cafe is a charming spot in Jasper known for its commitment to serving incredibly fresh coffee and espresso. The cafe offers a menu of light fare with options for vegans, vegetarians, and those with celiac preferences. The cozy space is designed to make guests feel at home, featuring calming colors, natural light fixtures, and soothing music. Additionally, the cafe bakes its own artisan bread and caters to large groups.
Excellent little cafe with seating inside and some patio space to enjoy outside during brunch. We had the breakfast wrap and the French toast, which has cream cheese in it. I prefer breakfast wraps/burritos to sweet and the wrap was quite tasty. The French toast was surprisingly lighter than I thought it would be versus dense. If you have had an asian made cake before you will understand what I mean. Price was also quite reasonable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite in a quaint spot.

So thankful to find some delicious vegan food. Prompt and friendly service too. We ordered the vegan BLT and Berry Blast smoothie.

I had the pleasure of trying spicy 🌶️ panner wrap Coco’s Café at the Jasper Food Truck, and it was fantastic! The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and full of personality. Every bite tasted homemade with real care put into it. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted high quality, and the seasoning was spot on. The staff were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re just passing by or looking for your new favourite lunch spot, this is a hidden gem worth finding.

Great food and vegetarian options! The owner was very considerate making adjustments to dishes and going above and beyond. We came here twice over the course of our trip and really enjoyed the food. Thanks Swapnil!

I want to specially mention about the customized chicken club sandwich that i had at Coco cafe food truck! It was too good. Exceeded my expectations and extremely sweet staff who were kind enough to customise it.

Amazing find. Definitely worth going. The people working there were so sweet and so friendly. The sourdough bread and the bagels were to die for. They have some really good flavours in cream cheese. The mango coconut milk smoothie was fantastic

Coco’s is currently operating as a food truck across the street from the shell. The owner (?) is so friendly and helpful! He remembered me on my second visit. The food was great, and there are nice picnic tables in the area to sit and eat. Great for quick and easy vegan/vegetarian options. Easy to park in the lot as well.

I had a wonderful experience here! The owner personally provided customized recommendations for my sandwich, and it turned out absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the service felt warm and personalized. It’s rare to find such attention to detail — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wicked Cup is a popular spot that opens early to cater to the morning crowd with an all-day breakfast menu. They offer a variety of options, from simple muffins and bagels to hearty burritos and pancakes. The Morning Mason Jar is a must-try, featuring layers of Greek yogurt, wild berry compote, fruit, and homemade paleo-friendly granola.
I visited this year as well as last year. The coffee flavor and aroma here is amazing. The recommendation of baguette bread was perfect for me. I was happy to go hiking after breakfast. I hope many people will visit this place!

WickedCup boasts a generous amount of space, offering seating options both indoors and outdoors. The staff is notably friendly and attentive, and they provide complimentary WiFi! I ordered their smoked salmon bagel, which was delicious. It came alongside a serving of potatoes and a fresh orange wedge. To kick off the day on a high note, I also enjoyed their Mean Green smoothie and a caramel almond Danish. What a great way to start the morning!

Wow! This was the absolute best meal of our trip to Jasper and Banff. The food was super fresh. The menu had a great variety of items and the matcha and chai lattes were delicous. Friendly employees as well.

Wow wow wow. This place has wicked food! Literally! Their veggie burrito and VLT tasted so good. They have fresh pastries as well. Their muffins are delicious. Their flavoured latte was good but a little bitter.. I’d go for a regular latte next time. They have great and quick service. It is such a beautiful breakfast place to enjoy in Jasper with a mountain view. We went there on our last day and we wished we had known of it earlier. I recommend trying it at least once while in Jasper!!
Ghadir ( — Google review
Their breakfast was excellent. The pancakes were good and bacon was prepared the way I like it, crispy and not greasy. Hash brown was excellent too. It was nice way to start the morning in Jasper. I had drip coffee and iced Americano. It offers 2 coffee drip coffee options but non dark roast coffee had dark roast taste to it. Otherwise I would enjoyed the coffee more.

Fantastic coffee and a welcoming place for breakfast!! Came here during the early morning for breakfast. Parked at the lane behind as there wasn’t any lots available. Ordered the Archie’s Famous Pancakes and a croissant. The pancake was really fantastic, it was fluffy. Love the berry compote and the crispy bacon. The coffee was good. Love the service and the ambiance. Would recommend it if you got time to enjoy the view and the peace at this restaurant.

Best breakfast I’ve had in Jasper!!! Got the sausage burrito and coffee. Taste was fabulous 👌 although pricy (usual for jasper). Good plentiful portioned food too which I really liked. Kept me full the entire ride back to Calgary. Dining area was really nice with the option for outdoor seating and service was exceptional. Will come back 😊

Sunhouse Cafe is a delightful restaurant located in Jasper, offering a wonderful dining experience. The cafe features a balcony where guests can enjoy breakfast while taking in the beautiful surroundings. With its large glass dome roof, the interior is flooded with natural light, creating an inviting ambiance. The open kitchen adds to the charm of the place and enhances the delicious flavors of the food.
We were really impressed by this amazing cafe! The breakfast was outstandingly delicious that could be ranked as the utterly top cafe, if not the best, in our experience so far. The way that the chef created their fusion cuisine was a kind of art that not only respected the authenticity but also embraced creativity.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Sunhouse and it was incredible. The food is innovative, delicious and well-sourced. The coffee impressed all the coffee snobs. The patio and glass roof maximize the mountain views. Best of all, the owner Tim is flexible and fun to work with, and all the servers and staff are amazing too. Thank you Sunhouse!

Decided to come here for my birthday breakfast and it was the perfect choice! The coffee, the food, and the view were all fantastic! We ordered the halloumi chili jam burger and the Turkish cilbir. Both were full of flavour and delicious. The staff were also super kind and gave us great recommendations for other places to check out in Jasper.

This is a cute and small restaurant in a rooftop, which we loved. The plates are unique and they taste fresh and with real ingredients. We really enjoyed our brunch here. Would recommend.
MariaC M — Google review
Such a cute and wonderful cafe! I loved everything about it, from the decor, plates, cups, all the way to the food and drinks. As a coffee person, I was relieved to find a place in Jasper with solid espresso. The food is also creative, thoughtful and carefully prepared. I would wholeheartedly recommend any of my friends to visit this cafe if they are in the area. Seating can be a bit challenging to find in larger groups, so be prepared to wait or split up if you want to inside when it’s chilly out.
Vivian — Google review
Great view, excellent food, slow service. I want to start by saying that while the menu is small, it delivers on all fronts: freshness, flavour, portion size and value. I want to love this place, but it's tough when it took 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and there were probably around 10 other customers dining at this time. Additionally, I requested the fried eggs to be subbed for poached, which the waitress said would be fine, but when the dish arrived they were definitely fried. Unfortunately we were now short on time so I didn't mention this to the staff. To be fair, the meal was still delicious - just not quite what I wanted. On the bright side, there is a lovely view to enjoy while waiting, and plenty of opportunity to soak up some sunshine. In summary, I'd try coming here again, hoping that the slow service was a one-off. Personally, I think it could be due to their small kitchen size - I was surprised by what they could produce in that small space!
Graeldon — Google review
What a chic cafe with a great selection of food! The French toast was sooo good - not too sweet with the lime jam and the right level of softness and sponginess. Also loved their massive sunroof! Highly recommend if you happen to stop by Jasper for a coffee or brunch.

This was our favourite place for breakfast in Jasper. The food was fresh, healthy and delicious and the service was great! I had the avocado on sourdough which was amazing! I’ve never had avocado toast presented this way. It included a perfectly poached egg, sliced avocado, fresh herbs and greens, pomegranate, pistachio mint pistou, and preserved lemon dressing. All on nice thick piece of sourdough bread. Delicious. We will definitely be back.

It’s generally okay, service was a bit iffy and my bratwurst was room temperature when they brought it back it still wasn’t great. But the food was really fast. If you are looking for an unpretentious breakfast in Jasper come here.
James V — Google review
We had a hard time deciding on where to grab breakfast while staying in Jasper, and settled on Papa George's Restaurant based on kids menu options. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated, but we were not given any kids menus for our children. Our waitress then did not return and was busy chatting with the other staff. As I looked around the restaurant, there were only 3 other tables seated, two of which we're finishing their meals and one of which was waiting on their server. I asked if they had been waiting long and they said they were ready to leave, which is the point we were now at as well. Luckily the waitress returned and attended to both our tables. The service was definitely better after this point. We all enjoyed our breakfasts, and the kids devoured theirs. My wife and I were surprised at the portions for the kids meals given the pricing, so definitely worthwhile. The hash browns were delicious as was the bacon with was perfectly crispy. We'd return again and hope the service is a bit more attentive especially when guests are first seated.
Marc D — Google review
Had dinner here with the kids. The children's menu is very simple. We got the mini burger and it was clearly a frozen patty served on a bun. No veggies, cheese or sauce. The adult menu items we got were ok. Nothing to write home about. The staff are very friendly and it has a nice atmosphere.
Vahid R — Google review
On August 19th at 7 PM, we dined at this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. We placed our order at 7:15 PM, but the food wasn’t served until 8:54 PM — an incredibly long wait considering there were only three families dining at the time. My kids were starving by the time the food finally arrived. We ordered a salmon bowl and a beef steak for ourselves, and from the kids’ menu, we got spaghetti and a mini burger. I specifically requested a well-done steak, but what I received was completely burnt — bitter and almost inedible. I couldn’t even finish my meal. I informed the server, but she didn’t offer any apology or solution. The salmon bowl was extremely dry, lacking sauce, and the rice was undercooked — barely 30% done — so my husband couldn’t finish his meal either. As for the kids’ burger, it arrived without any sauce or cheese, and the patty was so dry that my 8-year-old couldn’t even chew it. The spaghetti was overly sauced. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in Jasper. The food quality, service, and overall experience were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend spending your money here.
Jececa S — Google review
Top notch everything. Slightly disappointed that I got two pieces of bacon instead of three but they made up for it with phenomenal service and tasty everything. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious but beware if you are not into pulp; it’s chewy.
Beth N — Google review
This is the very first time when I was asked of why I didn’t pay a tip. And not just me, the server asked all my other 4 friends. This was so humiliating as I am a first year student who saved and came to have some time off. Most of all- tips is a choice, not a compulsion. I have been to so many eateries- this was my first experience where I was asked in such a derogatory way. There are so many nice places in jasper but I chose this as the ambiance looked nice but had such a mood spoiling experience.

Ate indoors. Patio was full; indoors almost empty. No-one else came in. Ordered Shepherds Pie. Lots of meat but fairly bland; couldn't taste garlic potatoes. Surprised to be offered sides of fries (considering topping of mash!) or salad. Was presented with bill without asking for it - or even being asked if we wanted dessert. Almost as if they wanted us out - at 8:30pm. Two restaurants next door were doing a roaring trade.

Terra, located at 200 Connaught Drive, offers a unique dining experience with its locally farmed and foraged fare. The restaurant's signature dish, Albertas Poutine, features thick-cut, triple-cooked potato chunks topped with a rich mushroom gravy and steak bites, garnished with dark green kale chips. The presentation alone is worth the price of $17. Additionally, Terra's modern design and innovative cooking perfectly complement the rustic mountain landscape.
Excellent food, though the cheesecake does have a hint of an aniseed. Waiter told us the food isn't necessarily foraged, but sourced from within 2 hours drive. Tofu dish was delicious and filling.

I chose this place based on the positive reviews, and while the design and ambiance are indeed beautiful, our experience fell short of expectations. We ordered a charcuterie board, but as shown in the attached photo, what we received was simply a plate with nine pieces of salami—something that was quite disappointing and unexpected. The chicken dish we ordered for dinner was not bad in terms of taste, though the portion size was quite small. Overall, while the setting is lovely and may be worth visiting once, I don’t see myself returning or recommending it to friends.

If you have been looking for a stylish cafe for a long time, then you should definitely visit Terra. The eyes were happy to look around. The service is also at the highest level, we were brought wine to taste until we chose what we liked. The dishes are not big and in one of the dishes in the menu there is a leg and wings, but in fact there was only a leg (maybe we misunderstood something, of course). But the dessert was incredibly tasty. I will definitely come back here to enjoy the dessert and the style of the cafe again!

Had breakfast here one morning. It was fancy without being too much. They incorporate a lot of local ingredients and even small details like the side of beans were clearly made in house

I had an amazing poutine and burger. The waiter was lovely and me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

Nice ambiance, pleasant staff and very delicious food. We ordered the burger - was great, and the red lentil tofu which was absolutely amazing. Most times is hard to find plant based dishes besides a boring salad but this red lentil tofu and veggies dish exceeded my expectations. We were hungry after a long day of travel and hiking and so glad we chose this place to eat dinner. We will be back during our stay in Jasper!

The restaurant prides itself on providing fast and friendly service to ensure a memorable dining experience for visitors. Guests can expect a warm and inviting atmosphere while indulging in the finest comfort food.
It was our 1st day arriving in Jasper from the train station. A short walk away and we stumble on this cafe. There were seats available for walk in and the service was welcoming. We were seated quickly and able to put our luggage aside with their help. There was a great choice if waffles with good portion and there were choices of juices as well. It was reasonably priced and the waffles are crispy on the outside and the texture is chewy and moist, very delicious. Most importantly, Tejas, who is our service staff welcomed us in warmly and also provide outstanding service. We were well taken care of on our day of arrival. Tejas made a great difference to our day and we had a great meal there.

This is the best place we ate at in Jasper during our 5 day stay! We actually ate here twice because it was so good! Our waiter was awesome and the waffles and breakfast are out of this world! Highly recommend this place. You can come get a meal from here or get a dessert waffle!

A very nice place on the main street of downtown Jasper. Servers are attentive and friendly. The waffles are made fresh, but i find the portions a bit on the small side, and both our chicken waffles had a bit too much Mediterranean taste. The shakes are reasonable priced, and very tasty. They offer a large variety of desserts as well.

Amazing Breakfast Spot! We had a fantastic breakfast here. The food was excellent—especially the waffles! We tried the chicken & avocado and the maple blueberry waffles, and both were delicious. The view is stunning, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly, attentive, and great with kids. Highly recommend this place for a relaxed and tasty breakfast.

This restaurant is highly overrated. We had avocado waffle and sunrise waffle. The fried chicken was hard and dry. The avocado waffle was topped with plenty of spicy sauce, which was not matched with avocado. Sunrise waffle got little fried eggs which was also dry. Just worse than breakfast meal in any fast-food chains.

Absolutely loved our waffles here! I had the brownie waffle and added vanilla icecream. Hubby and I are from Australia and we are travelling for a few weeks around Canada. I’m keeping a list of my top 5 foods/meals and my brownie waffle went straight to the top of the list!!! Hubby also loved his bacon and egg waffle! Thank you!!

Takeout Restaurant
Jasper Pizza Place, known as JPP by locals, is a casual dining spot offering wood-fired thick-crust pizzas, wings, pasta, and other mains. The restaurant's rooftop patio is a popular feature among visitors. One of their standout dishes is the Canadian poutine with an Indian twist called Rogan Josh, featuring crispy shoestring fries, mozzarella cheese, squeaky curds, and cilantro.
Very nice, friendly staff. I enjoyed the pizza, had the thin version with a nice fluffy crust. The pizza was tasty, topping wise it could have been a bit more generous, other than that just a really good pizza, nice place with a great beer selection. When it gets crowded, it can be a bit loud. Overall, I would recommend coming here when staying in Jasper.

Tried 3 different types of Woodfired pizzas but they were all average. We get much better and yummier wood fired pizzas in California so may be not the same . Their patio looked great for such a small place like Jasper but the blinds were down because of the rain , when we went . And yes , they didn’t attend us for a long time until we asked them to take the order , they apologized for that however. Seeing the great reviews ,we thought our experience would be the same , or is it hit or miss ?

After a long day of hiking we decided to do takeout pizza. A popular place in town it's always busy during peak dinner time. We tried their traditional baked pizza *the Sicilian* ham, sausage, yellow hot peppers and cheese. *The Athabasca* gourmet thin crust consists of black olives, artichokes and cheese. Both pizzas were delicious! No complains!

Haven’t been here in years, and it seems like there may be new owners because the food felt different this time around. The pizza itself was quality, and I really liked that they offered two options: pan or wood oven. The fries were tasty and seasoned just right. I also appreciated the great selection of dips to go along with the meal. ($2.50) per dip. The roof top patio was lovely! One fun surprise was their awesome t-shirts definitely a cool touch that stood out. The staff were very nice and accommodating, which made the experience pleasant overall.

Great dining experience in this place. Was surprised by their meat ball pizza. It’s very pricy for a pizza ($28) but seems it’s expensive to eat everywhere in Jasper! Draft beer is fresh and server made very good recommendations.

Loved this place. Fresh and delicious food. Fair prices and friendly staff. I tried the big bad wolf sandwich and my partner got the oink n yolk breakfast sandwich and an iced macchiato. Lost lands Cafe. Went here for breakfast and we both had the Full Fruit Bowl and was it good! Sizable portion and served at the perfect cold temp. Ordered at the counter and the food was delivered to our table. We were the first customers of the day so service was good. The restaurant can hold about 25 and the outside a few more. Any other time of day there would be some wait time. The employees were quite personable and friendly. A very impressive restaurant. Highly recommend

Probably the best Cafe breakfast I’ve ever had, The Right Before My Berry Eyes breakfast bowl was absolutely delicious, flavoursome and colourful. For lunch I had a Mixed Green Salad with Chicken, set off on our way, where we found the perfect spot next to the Athabasca River. Again the salad hit the spot, delicious and flavoursome. Whatever you’re in the mood for, I’m sure Lostlands Cafe will have something fantastic for you to eat or drink. Service is fabulous, have patience, everything is made to order and it’s worth it 🥰🤩

This place has been on my radar for a while now. I walk in. Get lost in the beauty of the relaxing naturally curated atmosphere. And I love it. Today I wanted a French breakfast without a pastry. So something sweet. I got the beauty and the brie. It absolutely hit the spot. Wonderfully sweet and savory with a good amount of protein on a warm ciabatta. It was WAY MORE food then I expected. Thank you a memory made. So cute how they wrapped the pickle. Took me a while to figure out what it was.

Lovely cafe with many thoughtful touches from the decor to the plating and drink presentation. Prices very reasonable for a holiday place. Stopped in right as they opened so had the place to myself. Very inviting environment. Clearly a lot of thought put into the decor. Keep an eye out for the whimsical mounted things and cute flower holders. Had the breakfast sando on ciabatta. Tastes amazing and the presentation is a+. I almost didn't want to eat it bc it looked so nice 😅 Mochacinno was very nice, flavorful and not too sweet. Served with a compostable lid I've never seen before and a chocolate covered coffee bean. Couldn't resist getting a cinnamon roll to go. Even the music was great. Light hearted and playful. I was dancing and singing along while I waited (briefly) for my food Highly recommended. Will be back

Great experience at this coffee shop in Jasper! I love the huge communal table in the centre of the cafe. The bar seating by the front entrance window is awesome for watching people and cars go by. The decor is beautiful here also. Price wise, it was pretty reasonable. My parents had the best mocha’s they’ve ever had and my earl grey tea was excellent. Definitely will be return customers!!

Became my new Jasper fave! Great beverages (I'm a tea person and their matcha, chai and tea selection were great), the pastries were fantastic (vegetarian and vegan options available). We had croissants and the pumpkin energy bar, very yummy. The atmosphere is very cozy, vibey, and the decoration is so interesting. I fell in love with that mountain painting (spoiler alert in pics!). Oh, and obviously, the staff was very friendly! The washrooms were also clean, roomy and well-decorated. The little merch corner is also appreciated for a merch-lover like myself. And of course, the laundromat+coffeeshop idea is brilliant ! Thanks Andromeda & Snowdome coffee for making our last morning in Jasper a cozy and memorable one.

Service was not bad but food was subpar. The skillet was not hot. Crunchy chicken burger had 1 lettuce leaf, poor presentation. The chicken was good but not worth the price. The red wine beef brisket was very lean and the mustard was cheap. The apple crumble's ingredients were all separated, not baked altogether. Water tasted weird. They did the potatoes really nice (fries, mashed potatoes, etc.), but not worth $90 Staff was friendly.

Okay food for average prices. A little expensive in comparison to similar breakfast places, but is is in Jasper. The bacon was not the greatest. Not many options for side. I tried to substitute hashbrowns for fruit, it was extra charge. Other restaurants usually sub for no charge. Coffee was alright.

Restaurant Review: Smitty’s - Jasper Name of Restaurant: Smitty's Family Restaurant Location: Jasper, Alberta Date: August 2025 Dish Ordered: Big Country Breakfast (ordered on three consecutive days) Seating: Dined inside (Outside seating is available) Cleanliness: Cleanliness at Smitty’s Jasper was consistent with what one would expect from a family-style diner. The dining area and tables were generally clean and well-maintained. On one occasion, I was served a glass with minor dishwasher residue, but this was promptly replaced without any issue. A small insect did land in my dish once, which, while not ideal, can happen in any environment and did not reflect a broader cleanliness problem. Overall, the establishment maintained a presentable and acceptable standard without any extreme concerns. Service: Service was one of the strongest aspects of my visits. I was seated immediately each day, and the staff proved both efficient and friendly. Orders were taken quickly, and drinks and food arrived impressively fast-typically under 10 minutes. Refills were offered proactively, and I rarely had to ask for anything. The staff made the dining experience smooth, attentive, and welcoming, which added significantly to the overall impression of the restaurant. Food: I ordered the Big Country Breakfast each day for three consecutive visits, which provided a reliable opportunity to gauge consistency. The portions were generous and left me full and satisfied each time. The food was cooked properly-crispy where expected and fully done without being overcooked. Seasoning was somewhat lacking, but this was easily remedied with salt and pepper provided at the table. While the flavor was not exceptional, it was solid, comforting, and consistent. Atmosphere: The atmosphere inside was calm and inviting. The restaurant was not overly busy during my visits, which contributed to a quiet and relaxing environment. The temperature was comfortable, and background music and television volumes were set appropriately-not overwhelming, yet adding to the diner’s homely feel. Seating was cozy and comfortable, creating an experience that felt both casual and welcoming. Value: In terms of value, Smitty’s delivered exactly what one would expect: a hearty, affordable meal at a fair price. The portion sizes aligned well with the cost, making the experience feel worthwhile and budget-friendly. For those seeking a substantial breakfast without overspending, this location offers good value. Other Notes: Accessibility was convenient, with the restaurant being within good walking distance. Parking is street-only, which is typical for Jasper. While it may require a short walk depending on availability, the restaurant is centrally located and within easy walking distance for most visitors. Final Ratings (out of 5) Service: 4.8 Food: 4.3 Atmosphere: 4.0 Cleanliness: 4.0 Value: 4.6 Overall Rating: 4.4/5 Conclusion: Smitty’s in Jasper provides a classic family diner experience: quick, friendly service; hearty portions; and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Over the course of three consecutive visits ordering the same dish, the restaurant demonstrated consistency in preparation and service. While the food itself may lean toward the average in flavor, it is reliably cooked, filling, and satisfying for the price. This is not fine dining, but it doesn’t aim to be. Instead, it succeeds at offering exactly what travelers and locals alike might want in a casual brunch spot: comfort food served efficiently in a warm, family-friendly environment. If you find yourself in Jasper and need a dependable place for breakfast or brunch, Smitty’s is well worth the stop.
Lumi — Google review
Not what it used to be. I’ve visited Smitty’s Jasper a few times over the years; I won’t be making that mistake again. I ordered the 1 piece fish and chips. The fries (chips) came in a tiny bowl. I dumped them out on the plate - it amounted to 10 fries. All from frozen. The single piece of fish was also obviously from frozen. The tartar sauce was tossed on the plate in a little packet. The coleslaw was about 2 teaspoons worth also in a tiny bowl. It was watery and disgusting. My hubby ordered an overpriced burger that was dry and looked as though the patty had been thrown on the grill freezer burn and all. Servers never asked how the meals were because I’m sure they know they are serving worse than jail food at ridiculous prices. I love Jasper, but Smitty’s is not helping their post-fire recovery efforts. Do better Smitty’s management and owners. You’re doing a disservice to an amazing town.
Catherine S — Google review
The food was quite greasy and, for the 18 CAD I paid, it really wasn’t worth it. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and the service didn’t make up for the poor quality of the food. Overall, it was a bad experience and I wouldn’t come back.

We all loved our experiences here I had the chicken and ribs, very good. Wife and son had pasta, both loved it. Daughter has salmon and said best salmon ever. And she eats salmon everywhere we go. Our server was very attentive. And their decadent chocolate cake was absolutely amazing. Our daughter cannot stop taking about it. Definitely recommend that.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Jasper. It is located within the compound of the Jasper Inn and Suites, where we were staying. So it was a very convenient option for us. The food was really delicious. The ambiance was good too, especially in the patio. The Smoked Brisket Sandwich was juicy and loaded. The tomato soup and garlic bread were scrumptious. We also loved their fish and chips. The service staff were friendly and welcoming. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but we found the whole experience to be worth it.

A late-night dinner at The Inn Grill, inside the Jasper Best Western Inn & Suites. I’d not known Best Western’s to have their own restaurant before and this was quite nice. The restaurant is part of the main lobby building, and is open to non-guests, as well as those who are staying at this hotel. We dined in the Courtyard Atrium with big windows looking at the Garden Terrace, which was closed because it was rainy outside. Dinner was nice. I had the Buffalo Meatloaf wrapped in Bacon. It was quite tender, layered, huge, and expensive at $24. It was also more than I could eat. My partner had the Sirloin Tips. The ambience was nice and the server was attentive. There is parking, but it is not separate from the hotel.

Had a great meal for one at this restaurant last night. Was staying here on business. The restaurant, as well as the lounge was full the entire time I was there, I felt lucky to get a table! She did let me know before seating me that food would likely be 30 minutes or more because it was very busy. I completely understand food taking longer when a kitchen is busy, and I really appreciated being told before hand to set my expectations. I had a great glass of wine, a starter salad, and the short rib for my entrée, which was absolutely delicious! I knew that I would probably be wanting a snack later in the evening as well as tomorrow, so I also ordered a pepperoni pizza to go. Everything was great, and the service was wonderful by my server, Scott! Will be back!

Located in Jasper, Alberta, O'Shea's is a classic hotel dining room that has been serving guests since 1921. The restaurant offers a wide range of Canadian comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. From Alberta steaks to British Columbia salmon, the menu features an array of options including burgers, pasta dishes, chicken, and stir-fries. The establishment also includes a sports lounge for patrons to enjoy.
My husband and I ate here in mid-June. He ordered the Fish and Chips and I got a Steak Sandwich. We both enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was lovely and we had a great conversation with her. We went early before it got busy, so it was nice and quiet and the waitress was attentive. We would recommend eating here.

Great dining experience in Jasper. If you like a touch of historical experience with some delicious meat - this is the place for you. The best part about this restaurant is the ambience and that it shares space with the historic hotel.
Vinit D — Google review
We ended up having lunch at O'Shea's, the restaurant inside The Athabasca Hotel, because our VIA Rail train was delayed, and passengers were given lunch vouchers to use here. Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. We arrived around 12:00 noon, when the restaurant was about 70% full, so it wasn’t overly busy. We stood at the entrance for several minutes. Two servers saw us multiple times but didn’t greet us or acknowledge us, instead walking past us repeatedly. One young female server with glasses even looked directly at us, then went table to table asking other guests, “Is everything all right?”, completely ignoring us. Only after we proactively spoke to another server, who seemed slightly more polite, did she glance at her colleague and say, “Okay, wait a moment.” We waited several more minutes before the young server with glasses finally seated us — with a very forced smile and no proper greeting. After we sat down, she handed us menus and asked if we were ready to order. We said we needed a bit more time, and she walked away. Then she didn’t return for a very long time, so I had to get up and walk to the entrance to find her so that we could finally place our order. It really felt as though these two servers were deliberately avoiding us, and we honestly don’t know why. The whole experience was uncomfortable, like there was some silent hostility, which made the meal very unpleasant. As for the food, it was disappointing: The French onion soup came with a huge chunk of mozzarella cheese on top. It was very hard to cut or eat and didn’t blend well with the soup at all. The tuna poke bowl was especially poor. It seemed randomly thrown together with Thousand Island salad dressing, which completely clashed with the ingredients. Compared to poke bowls we’ve had elsewhere, like at JOEY Restaurant, it felt like they didn’t know how to make poke at all. Overall, this was a very negative dining experience — poor service and mediocre food. Even though the lunch was included due to the train delay, we would not return and do not recommend this restaurant.

This is are new favorite restaurant to have dinner at when we come to Jasper. 10/10 amazing. First off history lovers its in the coolest building 1916 hotel. In which Bing Crosby Visited the Athabasca Hotel in 1946 during the filming of The Emperor Waltz. Marilyn Monroe Stayed at the hotel in 1954 while filming River of No Return. We went for dinner at around 6:45pm. We head inside and the host was quick to seat us. There was like one other table with a family at it other then that nice and quite. The food was amazing and you feel fuel when done but not heavy and sluggish like other restaurants. The meals were delicious and so healthy. Highly recommend the Atlantic Salmon. About $30 a plate on average.

Great service, great food.but the terrasse is “on the street”… i dont like that…but still we had lunch outside on a beautiful day after 3h drive. Beef sandwich au jus was spectaculor

I came here to have a few drinks before supper. They have a vast choice of alcoholic beverages which is great, but the service was not the best especially because the waitress had not come back to the table after giving us the drinks. I also waived at her 3 times to have the check, before she saw me. I sat on the terrace and it was good. Very small however, and their huge plant pots really don't help. The prices were okay and i do recommend.

Very delicious food! I tried the breakfast and lunch. The Egg Benedict is amazing! The beef burger is juicy and fresh. The price are reasonable. Will definitely check it out on my next time visiting Jasper.

The food was fabulous. Our server Evy was super caring and her service was really top notch. We were much dehydrated after our hiking and she generously refilled us with much cold water. The food came pretty quick and we were blown away with the taste. The chicken souvlaki and spaghetti are a must try. Highly recommended.

Lovely little spot in Jasper. Windows for viewing all the way round. Good menu, value for money. We had lunch and breakfast two different days and was good food. Real potato hash browns!!! Pleasant and helpful staff. We would visit here again when we come back for sure!

A wonderful cozy place for meetings with friends and family. For your attention, a diverse menu for every taste 🤤. I especially want to mention the Ribeye steak, it's the best steak I've ever had. Now this restaurant has a wonderful New Year's atmosphere, so don't miss the moment and definitely come here 🥂.

The potatoes were drool worthy delicious 🤤 and the breakfast itself was good and plenty. They serve breakfast till 4 pm!! Very accommodating to ppl on vacation who like to sleep in a little 😉 and still have breakfast after 10 am.

Silverwater Grill & Lounge is a charming restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. The staff are attentive and accommodating, making the dining experience enjoyable. While there may be a bit of a wait, the food is well worth it, served promptly and hot. The menu offers reliable North American options with some rare and innovative choices. It's family-friendly but on the pricier side. Overall, it's recommended for its delicious breakfast and reasonable prices.
We had the pleasure of being served by Travis. We each shared the arrinicini for a starter and loved it. The new winter menu was simply exquisite and the atmosphere delightful after an afternoon of hiking. Will definitely be back!

Had breakfast a la carte here. Got the One Time which was okay, tasted like what you'd get from hotel buffet breakfast. Would recommend the House Made Waffle though which were great. Service was good. 3.5/5 overall.

Was very hesitant to eat here as I have an allergy to cheese and mushrooms. The waitress was phenomenal and worked with me until I had a meal I could eat. She also kept checking with the chef to make sure nothing had cheese in it. So although it’s not on the menu, my salmon was perfect and the marinara sauce on the spaghetti was very tasty. My aunt who died with me had the tomato soup and the focaccia and her experience was also wonderful. I would highly recommend this place if you’re in Jasper Canada.

My husband and I had a delicious steak dinner here while were staying at the hotel. Service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for settling down after a day of hiking. We also enjoyed the dark sky reserve theme espresso martini they had 😊

Stop serving pizza if you don’t know how to make one! I ordered one because I thought you can’t go wrong with pizza — but you guys proved me wrong. $28 for a piece of dough with eight slices of pepperoni. Super dry. I couldn’t taste any cheese or any of the other ingredients listed on the menu. The only reason I ate three quarters of it was because I wanted to eat together with my family, and we were starving after driving 1000 km. After I told them it was horrible, they gave me a 20% discount on the pizza. Wow … And by the way 10.5$ for a big sparkling water…

First time dining here and it won't be the last! It's a spacious room with an intimate atmosphere. My server Angelica was very attentive despite having a lot of tables. The little pre food snacks were a very nice touch. The food portions do not disappoint! I will be waddling back to my hotel after this delicious espresso martini im sure to regret come midnight but for now I'll enjoy the soothing sounds of their music as I sip away.

We were staying at the Lobstick Lodge next door and ate at the Silverwater Grill both nights. First night was really busy and we had to wait 10 minutes or so to be seated. We had a simple salad for an evening meal and it was really tasty and good value. The second night was much quieter and we had a really nice meal of salmon with salad and tortellini.

Walters Dining Room stands out from typical hotel restaurants with its exceptional quality and affordable prices. Its elegant atmosphere is enhanced by the lush greenery of a four-story atrium. The menu showcases modern interpretations of Canadian cuisine, highlighting ingredients like Alberta beef and salmon. Patrons rave about their fabulous dining experience, particularly praising the visually stunning presentation and delectable taste of dishes such as the salmon with vegetables.
Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet by the fire for $21 per person. Coffee was pretty good as well. I see bad reviews but if u like classic breakfasts then you'll see value. If you expect fancy eggs Benedict on an avocado toast then go elsewhere. Good service

I was skeptical at first, as I usually avoid hotel restaurants for breakfast. Nine times out of ten I am disappointed. But this is that one time when I am glad I came here for breakfast. They have a decent layout for the buffet and some delectable choices on the menu. They even have a kids menu.
Adam R — Google review
The food is not very good, even off of the menu. The pancakes came with the syrup already applied. I never seen this at any restaurant in the world. You’re supposed to pour your own syrup. That way you choose the amount you prefer. With the syrup already applied, they were soggy and gross. How can you mess up pancakes? The service was friendly.
Jamie B — Google review
Scrambled eggs from the buffet were disgusting. Tasted/smelled like rotten egg or fish. Coffee was never refilled and I ended up having juice after asking twice. Staff is nice and so is the place but not the greatest way to start the day :(
Camila B — Google review
The buffet was okay, but nothing special, it was convenient. Service was not that great. Coffee was gross and there was no cream or milk available (even after being asked if I'd like cream for my coffee). Server rushed us at the end because the buffet was closing, we weren't told it was closing either, or we wouldn't have gone up for seconds. She was also a bit rude and awkward.

Worst place ever to have breakfast. We were there late morning when it was not busy. We waited a long time to be seated. I had to flag down a server and she said to grab menus and seat ourselves. Then the server comes, takes our order and never returns with our coffee. Again I flag down a different server and she brings our coffee at the same time our breakfast comes. We then have to ask for cutlery. Our eggs were disgusting and by then we were so frustrated with the whole experience that we just got up and left. The server notified the manager who came to see me. I explained to him everything that we experienced from beginning to end and that we would be going elsewhere for breakfast. He replied, " Well enjoy!" I was so mad that I went to the front desk to express how appald I was at the manager's incompetence...A while later I received a call from the hotel manager who credited us $50 towards our stay. That was appreciated.

Enjoyed dinner in my hotel tonight. They had a new menu sot it’d was a first night. I enjoyed a steak, fries, and onion rings item. The steak came cooked as I requested. In addition there was a sautéed kale and leeks and flavoured butter. It was quite delicious. My server was Evan and he was friendly and professional. I also had a house Cesar with gin ( my preference) with olives and a little olive juice. I finished with an apple crisp. Interestingly it had a marshmallow topping I thought might be too sweet but it was quite good. If I were staying longer I’d definitely go back.

Dinner here were fabulous. I had salmon with veggies. The dish was not only beautiful, but it was the best meal I had during a nine day stay in Alberta. I am a foodie and visit some of the best restaurants in the world. I don't understand some of the reviews here, because Walters is definitely fine dining. First class service. First class food. I was staying at the hotel, so I tried the breakfast the next day and it was just as good. You cannot go wrong with the food at Walters.

Kumama Bistro and Canteen, nestled within Pine Bungalows, is a Japanese-inspired restaurant that derives its name from the Japanese word for bear. The chef's aim was to recreate the comforting flavors of his mother's cooking. The bistro offers a thoughtfully curated menu with options like seasonal risottos and braised bison pasta. Guests can savor creative dishes at reasonable prices in this cozy spot with limited seating.
Zucchini was refreshing. The filling complemented each other well. Mushroom toast was flavorful and had meat bits deep fried. Pork belly was lettuce wrap with marinated salad. Pork might have been a bit dry. Pasta was good. Good seasoning, taste and texture. Love the mushroom and bean sprouts. Thai chicken had pickled pepper which added wonderful colour's and visually difference to a great dish. Plenty of juice and cooked just right. Cauliflower had frank's red hot sauce? It was not overly done and taste great. Drinks were good. Saw an elk outside the restaurant and was still there when we left. Overall a hidden gem in Jasper. You should definitely try it out. Located at front entrance of hotel.

the vegetable dishes are exceptional and i can tell they put a lot of effort into the preparation! everything was amazing! not pictured is the fried chicken and crispy pork belly/papaya salad (because we are them so quickly)! we finished the meal with the speciality soft serve (mocha) and are very satisfied that we came here.

Food was absolutely delicious, though the menu felt a bit limited. Service and staff were amazing really friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was quiet, which made it a nice, relaxed spot to enjoy a meal. Overall, a lovely experience. The mushroom toast was a highlight!!

Really lovely spot, tucked away outside of the main Jasper stretch. The place had a really cool, with campfires in the back, and a calming interior. The whole vibe was very homey. We ordered the mushroom toast, the pork belly, and the dan dan noodles. The noodles were far and away the best item, absolutely delicious! The pork belly was quite good as well. The mushroom toast wasn't bad, but we wished the mushrooms were a bit more pureed, the chunks of mushroom were a bit difficult to eat. Overall hugely recommended!

The food was perfect even though we arrived too late for breakfast and so selection was limited —we had salads with goats cheese, croissants, coffee, 'breakfast sandwich' heated for us and veggie wrap, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The place has a cozy vibe, we sat outside near woodfire pit, relaxing. They’ve got good coffee and I enjoyed a crisp local beer; delicious. I’d definitely go back
Teejay A — Google review
Beef was amazing, braised to perfection, with minimal salt so you taste the distinct beef flavour. Carrot was soft and sweet. Hidden underneath was the mash potatoes, light and smooth, but portion could be more since it was gone in a blink of an eye. Casaresse was great as well, sauce is fairly light however I didn’t really taste the miso but the mushroom has strong natural flavours. Their dishes are flavoured perfectly to bring off the natural flavours of its ingredients, so you can request to add more salt or pepper to your preference. I’m confident their other dishes are just as good. The nice thing is their menu is limited to about 4-5 dishes per category, so it’s an easy pick for those indecisive individuals.
Jacky H — Google review
Asian influenced food. Creative, tasty yet a little too salty. They don’t offer tuna and some other dishes I saw in people’s reviews so I guess they changed menu. The restaurant is just next to front desk of the hotel so atmosphere is just ok.

Becker's Gourmet Restaurant is a hidden gem located just five minutes south of Jasper, along the picturesque Icefields Parkway. This charming eatery boasts a classic mountain ambiance, featuring warm wood and stone decor that creates an inviting atmosphere. Diners are treated to breathtaking views of Mount Kerkeslin and the Athabasca River, making every meal feel like a special occasion.
My son was pleased with his Elk Steak. So were my husband and sister with their Salmon. Our Nay liked her Minestrone soup. My red bean soup was delicious, especially with the multi-colored crunches; however, I wish it’s not as thick. It was filling so I didn’t need my Lobster Cake appetizers. There’s lobster taste in it and the slight crunch was good but its flavor was dominated by other ingredients. Mr. Zach is a likable conversationalist😊. He recommended Pyramid Lake where there is a walking bridge to an island for a better view of the Pyramid mountain! I like the light stained wood ceilings and walls of this restaurant. The chalets look inviting to stay at🤩. The view is as beautiful. They also have Adirondack chairs on the grass along the side facing the river and mountains.

Beautiful place for dinner or getting breakfast . They have Breakfast buffet , plenty of options to choose from. For dinner time they have good cocktails and mocktails to choose and the river side view is amazing . The pasta was good and so is the chicken Main course . We ordered the fish appetizer as well . Service was super fast ! Would definitely recommend this place .

The hiker salad with chicken was absolutely delicious. The dressing was really good and the chicken was a huge portion! I was looking to fuel my body with something healthy and delicious and this meal was perfect! My mother in law got the salmon crusted with pistachios and said it was delicious. Our waitress was fantastic, she had brown hair but I am forgetting her name! Thank you for the great service throughout our meal.

Appetizers were amazing and so were the drinks but it took a long time for us to get our mains courses. And when we did our steaks were flavorless and way over cooked. We asked for medium rare and they were hardly even pink. We could have sent them back to have them fixed but the waitress never returned and then we had to ask another waiter for a dessert menu and our bill. We complained about the $50 dollar meals that we never ate to him and then our waitress came with the desserts and said they were on the house. We left there hungry after paying $217 .

Delicious! Stayed at the Cabins for two nights and decided to dine in the restaurant on the Friday evening so we could relax after a long drive. We made reservations in advance, just in case. Our meals were devine! Sorry, there are no photos of the mains because we hungrily dove right in. My meal was elk steak, and they happily exchanged the sides to what was offered with the ribeye meal as I thought it would be better for my limited potato dinner. It blended so well with the elk that I was so happy I made the substitution. My friend enjoyed the bison bolognese and reported it was delicious as well. We decided to forego appetizers and had dessert instead. My dessert was the chocolate creme brule and was the perfect ending for my elk steak dinner. My friend had the chocolate tower cake, which was huge and equally delicious. Service was great - friendly and attentive without being bothersome. All in all, and excellent experience! Prices are a bit high and reflective of the quality fare - worth the price in my opinion.

We dined here Saturday evening. We had a beautiful view by the window. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our server was attentive and provided excellent service. We ordered the bison bolognese, and the elk steak. Both dishes were tasty, the portions were a generous size, the elk was perfectly cooked, and our plates came hot which means our dinner was warm to the last bite.

A Perfect Start to the Day in Jasper! If you're in Jasper and looking for a cozy, welcoming spot to start your morning, Tim Hortons here is a must-visit. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting — the charming interior and the breathtaking early morning mountain air create a perfect pairing with a hot cup of coffee. Yes, it does get a bit crowded in the morning, but that’s only a sign of how popular and loved this place is. Despite the hustle, everything runs smoothly, and service remains friendly and efficient. A special shoutout to Jason, one of the staff members who truly stood out during our visit. He was exceptionally kind and helpful — you can tell he takes pride in making customers feel welcome and cared for. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite before exploring the national park or just sipping coffee while watching the morning unfold in Jasper, this Tim Hortons delivers every time. Highly recommended!

We're heading back to the U.S. after a short vacation in Jasper, and we just had to share our wonderful first-time experience at Tim Hortons Jasper! The breathtaking mountain views outside, combined with the beautiful heritage structure of the store, made it a truly special stop. But what made it even more memorable was the incredible service — especially from the Filipino crew who served us last night. They were so kind, friendly, and welcoming. A special shoutout to the muscular guy (possibly the manager?) — I didn’t get his name, but he deserves all the praise! The way he carried himself, the way he spoke, and the way he moved — everything was so professional and confident. Even with the long line of customers, he led his team with calmness and precision. He was handling multiple and complex orders while answering customer inquiries — and doing it all with a smile. I personally thanked him for his efficiency and impressive service, but what struck me the most was his humility — he told me, "I can’t take the credit alone, it’s all because of the team." That speaks volumes about the kind of leader he is. It was honestly one of the best service experiences me and my family have ever had. Thank you, Tim Hortons Jasper team! We’ll see you again next year. More power and keep up the amazing work! 🇨🇦❤️☕️

The staff here are so nice. They are welcoming and personable. When they’re not too busy they make an effort to ask you about your day all while multi tasking and making your order. It’s refreshing to be in a place that sees you as a person and not just another customer to rush along. Of all the Tim's I’ve been to, far and wide, this place is my favorite just because of the delightful staff! ❤❤❤😍😍

I’ve been avoiding Tim Hortons for a while because most feel like basic road stop gas stations — but not this one in Jasper! Walking into this location is a totally different experience. I ended a toxic relationship. After years of love bombing, sweetness, addiction, and disappointment… I finally broke up with Tim Hortons Our last moment? A BLT with no sauce slapped together half assed and the wrong drink…again. The error rate? Easily 80% The vibe? Bland. The food? My school cafeteria was better, why do I pay for this?! If you’re still holding on, I get it. Denial is comforting. But one day, you too will look at your incorrect coffee order and say, “I deserve better.” Farewell, old friend. I’ll remember the good times. Mostly from the 1990’s.

One of the better A&Ws I've been to, and that's something because I find them the superior fast food chain in Canada. This location is clean and updated. KFC and Pizza Hut around the corner too.

The service is always excellent, on time and personalized, which I love 🩷. All their products are fresh and at the right temperature and flavor. The place is spacious, always clean, quiet and cozy, has many tables, good lighting and location, their hours are extensive, which allows you to go even if you get off work late 😉. Last 4x here in a row they screwed up my kids order. Everytime I order a chicken burger it comes as a cheese burger. Then they forget items I’ve said. Why don’t they have healthy options for kids?
