Rogue Island Local Kitchen & Bar is a charming and rustic-chic pub located in downtown Providence. It prides itself on its farm-to-table menu, showcasing the best of the local food system while promoting sustainability and community support. The restaurant offers a variety of seasonal New American dishes, with an emphasis on fresh vegetables and locally sourced ingredients.
Second time in this restaurant in a while, and we're glad we returned. The food was amazing. All their products are fresh, and they all come from local places, so in a way, you're supporting local businesses. We were there for brunch. I had a pulled pork egg Benedict that was excellent. We were all very pleased with the food and the service. The place is super clean and organized. Their staff was very friendly and welcoming. The parking could be tricky, and their prices can be a little high; I am assuming the location and the local products probably play a role in this. I recommend going there for sure.

What a perfect find in Providence!! We enjoyed every minute and bite!! The restaurant is dog friendly on the patio which is perfect for those traveling with a pooch!! The menu offers delicious and unique twists on comfort food favorites. It’s no wonder they have won so many awards - DELICIOUS food!! The own is super kind and accommodating as well. He even came out on the patio to greet us and meet our dog. Love the personal service, small business at its very best!! Excellent restaurant and we highly recommend.

Highly enjoyed this place. Drinks were really good. I got the short rib grilled cheese. Hands down one of the best things I've had and the tots were out this world. Crab cakes where about a 6/10 good but the breading not a huge fan but the rest was really good! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be going back!
Justin R — Google review
I have been unable to stop thinking about the crab dip. It was rich and velvety. The taste of crab, cheese, and old bay all combined to make the best crab dip I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. I also got the burger. Beautifully seasoned and the toppings perfectly complemented the meat, enhancing the flavor. The fries were also amazing seasoned with old bay and beautifully cooked so they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous food, cozy seating, and an amazing, fun, engaging server (yes, that's YOU Kevin R.!). From apps to dessert, our taste buds were enthused! Thanks for the delicious evening in the City and super appreciate the additional foodie tips! We will be back!

An amazing place. Located inside the Arcade, and full of character. The food was hands down some of the best I have had. Handmade perfectly. French toast that melts in your mouth. They have it all, Benny's, traditional, and savory. Every looks so wonderful. Need to go back next time I visit RI.
Jamie H — Google review
The food is on the pricier side but they used quality and generous ingredients. Pierre, our waiter, was attentive, friendly and went to detail when describing the brunch plates. I recommend this place when you come to Providence.
David A — Google review
The first time I came here it was great. Service was awesome and food was delicious. The second time I came here was last month with some friends. The waters we got served had things floating in them. Same with the drinks... Fruit flies. We sent them back. You need to do a thorough cleaning of your bar. Service was good, it wasn't the waitresses fault. Also, if I'm paying $16 for a grilled cheese and $14 for a cocktail that fills up half a glass... you should probably have clean cups. We were very disappointed and there were plenty of other places we could have spent our money. It didn't help that there was a birthday party with kids screaming their heads off running around. Not the restaurants fault, just par for the course I guess.

CAV Restaurant is a unique eatery and antique shop in Providence, offering an upscale global menu, a historic bar, and live music. The restaurant has been a staple in the city's culinary scene since 1989 and is known for its eclectic charm and remarkable dishes. It features a curated collection of antiques, exotic furniture, and dazzling crystal chandeliers that create an ambiance reminiscent of dining at an eccentric, affluent aunt's residence.
There’s a really rich food culture in RI and CAV is one of them. The food , the art filled environment with statues from all around the world and great service are all things I really appreciate and to get this all under one roof was an awesome experience! I live in NYC so I m somewhat jaded by eating out in other cities because I don’t feel like there’s a comparison to our rich and diverse food culture. However, this place made me question my own thoughts! Big portions too. I’ll definitely be back. Go here!!!

Summary: Honestly expected a lot better. At the price, definitely would not recommend. This experience was bad enough that I felt obligated to leave a review, even if I have mostly stopped reviewing any restaurants. As others have said, the ambiance was lively and the decor was interesting, but everything else was mediocre at best. Poulet aux Poires--This supposedly 'award-winning' dish was the worst offender. Pears poached in wine were interesting, but that was it. Ginger pear sauce was watery and did not stick to anything, chive dumplings were about what you'd get at a slightly subpar local Asian market, and chicken breast was among the driest I've had anywhere—it was difficult to cut and extremely fibrous on the inside. Could not finish this, and the person I shared this meal with had one bite and agreed it was outrageous for the price. DO NOT ORDER. Bread service--butter/cream had a strange aftertaste and no flavor; bread was average Service--feel like we were treated very strangely--at one point we asked for the check, the guy went and told our waiter, and then he essentially ignored it and stood around/went around doing other things for a good ten minutes before finally giving us our check. The restaurant was not busy either, so I was very confused. 'Jumbo' Crab Cake--for that price, I expect more crab over other vegetables and such, although the chunks had good flavor. Duck Confit--slightly above average price for the amount of duck (I think Circe nearby has better value if I remember correctly), rest of dish was alright.

First time in CAV and it was outstanding! Our server was on-point, the artifacts are amazing, and the food…. The food was excellent. We started with a gin martini and a lychee martini. Fresh and delicious. Perfectly poured. Then apps were walnut crusted Brie and calamari. So good. And large portions for the money. I got the scallops and shrimp, while hubby got the bolognese. I’ll let the picture speak for themselves. I HIGHLY recommend this place. You won’t regret it. Also met one of the owners, John, who was so nice! Make this a must stop when you’re in Providence.
Beth G — Google review
What a great find! The place has a super cute, chic antique vibe — perfect for a date night. We showed up with our two kids instead, and surprisingly, it still worked out great! The food was delicious and beautifully plated, and the service was genuinely top-notch — friendly, quick, and professional. The whole place has this cozy speakeasy feel that makes you want to stay a little longer. Definitely going on our “must-return” list (and maybe next time, without the kids 😄).

What a unique dinning experience located in downtown Providence. This restaurant is beautiful with unique antiques surrounding the restaurant. The ambiance sets the dinning experience making you feel like your in Europe. The food was delicious and had a variety of selections from duck to seafood. Although a little on the pricey side the value for the money was worth every penny. Give them a try if you want a great service, a unique atmosphere, and delicious food.
Phanida P — Google review
This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. I love the food, the decor, and the overall vibe. The seating feels private and cozy, the ambiance is beautifully done, and the service, especially the waitstaff is top-notch. It’s truly a hidden gem!
Martin F — Google review
CAV Restaurant is a thoughtful place. Every component of the restaurant seems to be articulately assessed. "Everything in it's place" feels like a proper phrase for this restaurant. The antiquities that surround the dining tables are a severe example of the decorator's style. There are places in Providence that mix small business and museum, this is one of those places. The menu had a selection that doesn't feel as limited as other niche restaurants. The selection did include gluten-free labeling for those who have the need. The Parmesan Encrusted Free Range Chicken Breast was delicious. The portion size was enough, for a fast metabolism, you may want to order appetizers. I like to judge a place by it's presentation of a Caesar Salad. Some places look like they threw a bunch of lettuce leaves onto a place and smatter some cheese on top, with a sneeze of Caesar dressing. CAV was not this place. We ordered the salad without croutons, and it was delicious. There was some baked parmesan on top of the salad that added to the flavor. The dressing was light enough that it did not overpower the other flavors, such as the lettuce and the cheese. The cocktails were excellent! I ordered the Silver and Gold Margarita, they were flavorful and highlighted the taste of the tequila without the taste of the alcohol. A very unique aspect. CAV is a place where I am curious about it all. When observing all of the artifacts, and the actual space that the restaurant was in, it tells a very cool story. I recommend taking the time to make a reservation and enjoy the time spent there. It is a wonderful thing for CAV to be in Providence!
Timothy K — Google review
Very cool vibes in the restaurant, lots of mirrors and chandeliers. Service was okay, drinks were good. Glass top on table had a chip on the side that they covered with painters tape. Food was terrible. The highlight of the meal was the free bread. Lobster pappardelle had a good amount of lobster meat and the pasta was well made but the sauce was disgusting. Parmesan chicken was hard and dry, we tried to tell the staff and she said “oh…yeah” and walked away? Overall not impressed, save your money,

Restaurant
Brickway On Wickenden is a cozy breakfast and lunch spot located on Wickenden Street in Providence. The restaurant offers homestyle American fare in a compact space adorned with bold murals. It's one of the enduring establishments that define the signature Fox Point thoroughfare. Visitors can enjoy sweet and savory breakfast options served until 2 p.m., making it a perfect stop for a quick morning meal.
I was in the area and decided to stop into this really neat breakfast spot. It has such a cool vibe and there are plenty of vegetarian options, and the staff is super friendly. I definitely need to come back to try the peach french toast! I ordered the corned beef omelette which did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!
Hannah T — Google review
Colorful diner with typical breakfast/brunch foods. Blueberry French toast was great, but wish they would have been fresh instead of dried berries. The wrap I ordered was a little stale, also overpowered by the goat cheese. Side home fries were very good though.
Pin K — Google review
Visited for the first time last week. Overall, I really liked the visit. I loved the decor and the staff and service was great. My only real complaint was the size of the restaurant. It was compact, but it is somewhat expected based on the location. Parking can be a bit tricky and the entrance is like down an alleyway type walkway. The food was great. I had the Brickway special and substituted the toast for a pancake. (Forgot to take a photo of the pancake lol. It was fluffy and tasty. I definitely recommend it.)
Tchanavia B — Google review
We stopped in for breakfast- it was your typical breakfast. We had eggs benny and the breakfast burrito. The burrito was just was big, but lacked flavor. The decor includes old style tables and the art on the wall is cool.
Dennise D — Google review
Had a great experience here! The atmosphere is great with all of the murals on the wall and the food was just as good. A good price for the amount of food that you get and it tasted good. Overall a great time coming here!
Olivia — Google review
I have a monthly breakfast date that I keep at this place and I recommend it to people all the time. There’s a nice range of table sizes and the vibe is friendly and welcoming. The omelettes are all excellent and we enjoy trying different things each time we go. I think our favorites are probably the Wonderland in the Eau Claire. Decent home fries and very good coffee. Only one ding for atmosphere because there is very little dampening and if you get a couple loud talking tables, you will definitely strain to hear sometimes. But ain’t that diner life? If you’re in the mood for great omelettes and really nice people, Brickway is rock solid.
Charley E — Google review
Went here for brunch with an older friend who needs a little more time to read the menu and move about. As we were finishing up, the manager/owner asked us if we were done as I was finishing up my coffee and proceeded to grab our cups and yelled "I have more customers waiting!" And stormed off. I understand it is a busy spot and we were finishing up relatively quickly as we needed to move on, but grabbing our things and telling us you have people waiting was incredibly rude especially from the manager/owner. The waitress was nice, food was descent but not worth coming back to that chaos. Treat all customers well please especially your older ones.
Kikijo — Google review
Whenever I visit Providence to see my daughter at Johnson and Wales I go on the hunt for a proper steak and eggs. My one meal a day has to be done right. This place rises to the top every time. They serve a real 7 to 8 ounce steak cooked to perfection and if you ask for four eggs you actually get four eggs. Some places just squirt the eggs and it is not really four eggs and the steak is not really steak or not great steak or not even a proper steak. Every time I try somewhere else I am disappointed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a real steak and eggs breakfast in Providence.

Amy's Place is a charming neighborhood breakfast spot located within walking distance from downtown. It offers a variety of delicious breakfast sandwiches and smoothies, making it the perfect place to fuel up for the day. The Hash it Out sandwich, featuring egg, cheddar, crispy hash brown, and spicy aioli on a sweet Portuguese bolo bun, is a top contender for the best breakfast sandwich in the area. The cozy interior with bright and sunny ambiance provides great people-watching views from big windows.
Came here for a classic Sunday breakfast. Everything on the menu looks amazing but I was a little hungrier than usual. So I got the legend burger and it was filling and delicious. With the perfectly crispy fries and the mango mania smooth, I was satiated. I really like how the burger had sweet and savory flavors instead of it being just salty the hash brown and runny egg inside made it the ultimate breakfast burger. I also tried the chive on sandwich with sausage and the two eggs inside were nicely scrambled with chives. But I liked the burger better. Overall, it was a great Sunday morning brunch after a night out. I would suggest you get there early because the wait times take about 30-60 mins. Or order ahead and pick up.
Raymond C — Google review
I love this place! The service was fast even on a busy Sunday morning and the matcha smoothie was so creamy and delicious! I got the sausage egg and cheese on sourdough and my bf got the Hash up he couldn't stop thinking about the sandwich all day that's how much he loved it! Great place we will be back!

I love this place!! I came here years ago on a trip and came every day of that trip, and I got to go back yesterday and ordered the same things! I love the iced dirty chai and the Sunday sandwich, they’re so sweet here and let me know how they make the dirty iced chai and I’m soo excited to make it cause this is one of my favorite drinks of allll time

Easily one of the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious! Only downside is that this place is so popular and so the wait is a bit long but worth it!

Don't skip. LOVED the vegan wrap and the green smoothie. Super tasty and fresh, full of flavors
Prachi — Google review
Delicious smoothies! Highly recommend arriving early in the morning, especially on a Sunday. Filled with college students and locals. Unfortunately it was a 50 min wait for takeout at 11 am on a Sunday. However, the sandwiches look amazing and we hope to be back!

Come early!! Because parking is crazy! My friends' and I came for a 8am breakfast on Saturday morning and the restaurant was ALREADY full. There is very limited space but absolutely worth the wait! Food was 10/10 delicious. We got a little of everything and couldn't decide what was better, the pancakes or the egg sandwiches. You'll just have to get both next time you visit. ;D
Veronica M — Google review
The Vermonster was awesome, I got it on sourdough(I think), rather than a wrap. They also had Gluten Free bread for my partner, which is always an awesome surprise! Great breakfast sandwiches! They did take about 20 minutes for 2, but it was 90 degrees and they were jam packed. I’ll be back for sure my next time through Providence!

The Classic Cafe is a charming, old-fashioned American eatery located in Federal Hill, Providence. With its black and white striped awning, it exudes a traditional breakfast spot vibe. The cafe offers a comfortable atmosphere and serves classic American breakfast and lunch dishes. Customers have praised the friendly staff, efficient kitchen, and delicious food with generous portions. The menu features a variety of options including specialties like the Cuban Omelet and delectable sides such as potato cakes.
Enjoyed the eggs Benedict and blue berry French toast. Both were excellent although the eggs were a bit over cooked. But eggs Benedict is not easy to hit, and the Canadian bacon and hollandaise made me quickly forget :). Likely tell them to take care on those when you order. Hash browns were yum albeit a bit too salty for me. The French Toast was exceptional so much so, we had to ask the chef the recipe for the topping which he kindly shared :). Loved it!!
Tim K — Google review
Absolutely incredible. Went here for the first time and had the eggs Benedict. The English muffin was huge, the Canadian bacon was thick, the hollandaise sauce amazing, and the home fries super crispy. I have lived in Providence for almost 5 years and I can’t believe I’ve slept on this place! I definitely have to come back soon!

I love this place! For starters, the staff are always friendly! They greet you at the door right away and take very little time if any at all to take your order. The food is always fresh and the cook does an exceptional job of making sure your order is correct and fast. The atmosphere is bubbly and bright and the staff are always smiling.
‘Kiia S — Google review
I stopped by for breakfast and ordered a custom omelette with my choice of ingredients. The food was delicious and well-prepared, but the overall atmosphere completely ruined the experience. Several servers were loudly chatting about personal topics — things like mascara and face creams — throughout my meal. One server in particular, wearing a ring on her nose, was extremely loud and kept laughing every time she thought she said something funny. Their ongoing conversation was so distracting that they couldn’t focus on their work and ended up making mistakes on almost every table, even though there were only three occupied at the time. My server was polite and attentive, but the cook, who was also part of the loud group, got my order wrong. I had requested whole wheat toast with no butter, but I was served white bread with butter instead. When I politely asked the loud server to lower her voice, she apologized but made no effort to actually do so — in fact, she laughed even louder. I finished my breakfast as quickly as I could just to leave. The food was good, but the unprofessional behavior and noisy environment completely ruined what could have been a pleasant meal.

If I could give the service six stars, I would! Super efficient so friendly. Great standard diner food with lots of vegetarian options. We had breakfast sandwiches, one with bacon and one with tempeh - both were excellent. Ask for the hash browns extra crispy!

- Thursday at 10:00am / 15 people in the restaurant - $40 tab Staff - The staff were very efficient and great company. The woman(Tracey) who waited on me spoke to me like family and she did her best to make sure she was helpful. The owner takes care of his business. Drinks - Cafe coffee with the honey 👌🏾 Food - I ordered a meat lover omelette with hash browns and wheat bread with a side of biscuits and gravy and a side of corn beef hash. You get the food you came for and it comes out like your mom is cooking it has home. The portions were enough for me to take a full bowl to go. The fellas on the grill 👍🏽 Atmosphere - The cafe you came for is what you get. The place feels good to sit and have a good breakfast with friends family or just by yourself.

This place just closed yesterday. I cant really say much about the restaurant since I don't eat here. But I've been going at night to grab a bubble tea and the 3 times ive been there in the last 2 weeks I have noticed infestation of mice with numerous of mices running around. DISGUSTING. Today I was sitting down for less than 5 minutes and a mice went right infront of my face 1 foot away. Hopefully this place does not open again without a complete Pest control clean up and a health inspection !

Red Stripe is a vibrant and stylish brasserie that offers upscale American cuisine with a French twist. Located in Providence, RI, this cheerful eatery is known for its hanger steaks, omelets, oven-roasted tomato soup, and grilled cheese with prosciutto, pear, and basil. The restaurant's open kitchen adds to the lively atmosphere as diners enjoy their meals. Red Stripe also welcomes furry friends at its outdoor seating area.
I had brunch at this restaurant. I ordered the Croque Madame w/ Frites and the Chocolate Cake for dessert. The food was delicious. The cake was very rich, so I couldn’t finish it. I loved the set up and design of the place. It has a certain vintage aesthetic to it. The staff was very kind. My server Haleigh was awesome. Would definitely recommend ❤️ Parking was a bit difficult to find, however, I eventually found street parking and there’s two lots near the restaurant.
Robyn M — Google review
We had a great time at Red Stripe! The food was great I got the braised short ribs which were delicious. The only reason that I’m giving it a 4/5 food wise instead of the 5/5 is because I didn’t really care for the bacon it was a little salty for my taste but the mashed potatoes, carrots and short ribs were all great. The other dishes featured are what my cousins ordered which were the filet mignon and I think the shrimp poke bowl. They both enjoyed their dishes as well. Our server was friendly and attentive even as the dinner rush started to come in. The atmosphere and ambience are very old American bistro with a modern flare. I would definitely recommend this place it’s a great stop!

I'm surprised to see this place has only 4.4 stars because the experience I had was nothing less than 5. It was my birthday and I wanted searched through Providence looking for scallops. I found Red Stripe and decided to reserve here and I'm glad I did. The restaurant itself is beautiful and in a lovely area of Providence. There's a small lot in the back and plenty of street parking. The staff immediately noted my birthday and did a great job making me feel special. I wish I had grabbed my waitress' name because she was excellent. We started with the crispy artichokes which were delicious. I had the fisherman's platter and there was an ample amount of food. The shrimp were colossal and easily my favorite of the three seafood options. My significant other had the schnitzel and has been talking about how good it was ever since. We then ended the night with a skillet cookie- complete with a candle! While I may not love the number I turned, Red Stripe helped me celebrate it in style. I highly recommend them!

We visited Red Stripe during Restaurant Week and had a fantastic experience! We started with the buffalo cauliflower, which was absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. For my entrée, I had the beef stroganoff made with short ribs, and it was outstanding. The short ribs were incredibly tender, easily the best I’ve had to date. We finished with a tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending—light, creamy, and full of flavor. Beyond the food, the service was excellent, making for an all-around great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I’m forever indebted to Red Stripe. When I was broke and in love, I wanted to propose to my wife and have dinner. Red Stripe made a special accommodation to have both of our families and friends sit all together in a special room. Now every anniversary we make it a point to celebrate there! The food and atmosphere is amazing and brunch is always great! Thank you for fulfilling a special moment in our lives and providing exceptional food and service!

The short rib grilled cheese and tomato soup was delicious!! Fish and chips was huge. Also got the crab crusted cod.

If I could give the food and hospitality more than 5 stars I would. The baked stuffed cod was more than amazing! Bobby’s customer service was outstanding the way he went above and beyond to make sure my order was perfect! The staff is very attentive and friendly, made me feel very welcomed. I’ll definitely be a returning customer and recommending Red Stripe to family/friends.

Best Reuben, Worst Cobb Salad I had seriously the saddest Cobb salad I have ever had in my life. It had two cherry tomatoes cut in half a spoonful of blue cheese and a couple slices of avocado all mixed up rather than on top. I think that was to hide how little of the Fixins it actually had. It was loaded with chicken on top, way too much. It did have one boiled egg cut in half. Oh and I almost forgot there was a spoonful of bacon that equated to one strip of bacon. It was absolutely pathetic. My husband got the Reuben. It was by far the best Ruben we've ever had. It did not have too much meat, the balance of the cheese and sauerkraut was excellent, and the bread was very good. The fruits on the side were excellent, salted just right, thinly sliced and cooked perfection.

Restaurant
The Public Kitchen And Bar is a stylish 1930s-inspired restaurant located within the Renaissance Hotel. It serves inventive American cuisine and drinks for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. The chefs prepare modern American dishes, such as buttermilk pancakes and coconut Belgian waffles for breakfast. The restaurant offers a bustling atmosphere with a lounge area where guests can enjoy delicious food like chicken tenders and eggplant chips. The in-house bar serves excellent cocktails like the Manhattan.
Very nice inhouse restaurant. Steve and 'Ray' were excellent staff and great personalities. My Manhattan was one of the best I ever had. The calamari app was big enough for at least 4-5 to share. Scallops were amazing (great plating) and the cioppino was beautiful. We ate at the bar as all the dinner reservations were taken because of a show next door. Call early!

Food: I ordered the $30 shrimp scampi and it was incredibly bland. As far as I can tell it was cooked in salt-less water and then given no additional flavor before being scooped onto my plate in a bathe of warm water. The consistency was good so I took it home and added garlic salt, thyme, and some olive oil and popped it in the microwave and it is now very tasty. The fries were decent and the desserts were delicious, but multiple people in our party found the main dishes subpar. Service: Our waiter was very friendly. Didn't hover (maybe could have hovered a little more honestly but I appreciated that he wasn't checking in on us every .2 seconds) Atmosphere: The atmosphere was really nice! They had great seating for larger parties, the place had a cool vibe, and I loved the window booths.

Note* Not rated for food or drink....mainly lack of service. We were staying at the hotel (which is beautiful and clean!) We were told the restaurant was open until 11. Wanted to grab a quick drink when we got back before going up so stopped in at 10:15. There was about 7 people at the bar and 3 bar tables with customers....no one seated in the restaurant. We did not walk in to an empty bar. When we sat down, we were not acknowledged by either of the two bartenders. Instead, one walked by us 3 times, as the other one stood to the side. At one point, the one standing looked at his watch and said to the other bartender "good thing there's only 15 minutes until last call" and glanced our way. So this means we still had 15 minutes to order. We would have been gone before "closing". At this point it was our choice to get up and leave, but if making two drinks is such a hassle for you to do in 15 minutes, then you probably shouldn't be working as a bartender. I've worked in that business. I understand being tired (working at bars open until 2am) or having a bad day, but for both of them to ignore us was unprofessional and rude. I'm big with a simple "Hi, I will be right with you", if you are busy, but although they had customers, they were not busy serving them. They were concerned about getting out of there and cleaning. Avoid simply for that reason. There are so many other places we visited while there, all with amazing service and attentive to customers.

The place? So cute! The service? Only if you like sassy retort. The food? As white as it gets. I was hoping for an amazing restaurant for where I could have a fantastic dinner with my mom before a show at the Vets. We got a generic hotel restaurant. Pretty in Pink was the best part of the night. That drink? So dang good. The rest? Eh. Lacking. The host was rude and condescending. The waitress while pleasant was MIA. The food took forever an was obviously sitting under a heat lamp. But somehow the fries were underdone. The crabcakes while had great consistency, did not have the flavor to keep it a good dish. The Caesar salad might as well have come from a shake bag. As said before the fries weren't fried enough. My mom said the burger was delish, so I'll give Public that. All in all, won't come again. My mom said she will but it might be for the atmosphere and age group of attendants.

Several booths remained empty till we finished our dinner, but the front manager told us they were fully booked due to “tons of reservations (which even didn’t look that way)” so we were not able to sit at the booth.

Great Gatsby New Year's Eve. We didn't receive champagne for the toast nor did we have any wait staff approach with hor d'oeuvres seemed to only be going to the private parties, both were included in the ticket price. Very understaffed at the bar. Enjoyed the DJ. Would have been appropriate to include some 20's music in the mix.

We went in on a Friday at 2pm, and it was a little dead, which was kinda nice. Received prompt service, our drinks were made well, and the pizza we ordered, the Alex "Numero Uno" was awesome. We had 3 of the craft cocktails (I quite enjoyed the Ghosted) and the aforementioned pizza. Total bill for it all came out to $65. The place looks great too.

The café has a laid-back vibe with bright colors and lots of plants creating an inviting oasis for coffee lovers.
A little coffee shop. Peaceful, quite, clean. Today I had a small black brew coffee and a #1 Basic - which is a fresh bagel egg and cheese. I splashed it with salt & pepper from (shakers) and hit it with small hot sauce. This shop has board games ♟️ for customers to enjoy. Very friendly , welcoming.

New to the neighborhood and looking for my own coffee spot. This place is cute and kept popping up when I typed in vegan cafe. They had 1 vegan pastry option. I grabbed it. But unfortunately there’s plastic baked inside the middle. They do have oat and almond milk available. Their caramel and vanilla are dairy free. The sandwich options were very slim pickings despite being there around 11. Coffee is the best part here. It’s cute inside. Feels like the staff could clean up the dining area more throughout the day.

I've been coming here for years every now and then. The inside is totally charming and approachable - exactly the type of place in which I like to have a pastry or sandwich. Was just here on Friday and had an egg sandwich on an everything bagel along with a pastry; way above average on both counts - lots of flavor. I particularly like that they bake all of their own stuff (you can see the baking room in back), get creative and try new things, and have a progressive, inclusive value system.

Plus the music was good there. The description prominently features that this restaurant is eco-friendly, however, other than the organic food choices and the ability to recycle, the food is served on single use parchment paper and my dine-in drinks were served in plastic cups. The food is definitely fresh and delicious and the pricing— being in the nice area that it is— is quite good; me and the person I was with were able to get both of our meals with a fresh pressed drink for about $15.

Set up here for a few hours of remote work and enjoyed a hot brown butter latte (incredible) and their veggie breakfast sandwich (also incredible). Great vibes all around!

The melon matcha tonic was delicious, and they hand-whisked their matcha which I never get to see at busy cafés! My only complaint was that the flat white wasn’t great. Also, the music was not loud at all so really good for a chill study spot that isn’t overwhelming!

Very delicious looking snacks and drinks. The quality and taste are not consistent across the snakes. A bit worried hygiene as the drink making tools, filters are cleaned with the same cloth for the counters and everything else but the milk nozzle which is used with another cloth.

Nestled in Providence, Louis Family Restaurant is a beloved diner that has been serving up hearty comfort food for decades. This cozy spot is particularly popular among college students and locals alike, offering an all-day breakfast menu that features generous portions at wallet-friendly prices. Diners rave about the massive breakfast sandwiches served on toasted long rolls or English muffins, as well as their delectable pancakes—though you might want to bring your own maple syrup!
Was following the troll trail and stumbled upon Louis Family Restaurant looking for a triple D stop. Driving up it looks questionable. The BBQ chicken ravioli was delicious! Staff was all really friendly and was a great surprising stop for lunch.

We went for a quick breakfast sandwich. Ham egg and cheese on a sub roll. It was slice ham, the bread was so soft with a nice crunch from the kiss of the grill. I added grilled onions it was delicious. The atmosphere was laid back old school with classic meals. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Definition of classic old school diner. Located in a residential area, safe, quiet, steps from Brown and a hike from RISD. Don't judge by the exterior facade. Come inside to this mom-n-pop greasy spoon lost in time that you'd expect to find in Brooklyn or South Philly. Interior is a museum of vintage b/w photographs, eclectic art, old license plates (should've brought my old plate from Seattle) and even a traditional Korean newlyweds doll set preserved in a glass case at the top center of the menu wall. Inside dining area is medium size but will fill up to capacity by 9:30 on a warm New England end of summer Sunday morning. Several tables outside. Family owned establishment frequented by locals, college coeds & tourists alike. Loius's was featured on Guy Fieri's Triple D on the Food Network. Food is made from scratch, handmade, good ole home cooking taste. Bagel & hand cut lox, buttery strawberry pancakes, omelette made to order were all delicious. Portions were generous and prices were not affected by Bidenflation. Where can you get a delicious omelette, potatoes & toast for $11? Service was courteous, accurate and prompt even during the rush. This place is a dying breed. Especially young people today shouldn't miss out on a classic taste of 🇺🇸. Support your local small businesses & restaurants 👍 😋

Wanted to like this place as it’s a short walk from the apartment and it looks authentic. As a rule, I love diners and greasy spoons, but this place is not good. The scrambled eggs were flat, overcooked and greasy. The bacon was paper thin, undercooked and greasy. The “home fries” were inedibly undercooked. Even the toast was inedible: flaccid, slightly warmed bread with a dunk of butter. The food was served by a silent young woman who dropped the plate on the counter in front of me with a thud. Literally no one here looked like they wanted to be there, and I was happy to leave my half-eaten plate and go.

This place had a really hipster/nostalgic and unique vibe! It's a local diner that has photographs, drawings, posters, and interesting things plastered across the walls. It has your classic diner set up with bar stool and open view of the kitchen. There are also many table. Our server was friendly and really helpful especially considering how many tables she had to take care of. The coffee was strong and they had a basic menu with diner staples. The bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was just wanted I needed to start my day off. I liked the old school vibe of writing the order on a price of paper and checking out at the host stand after the meal. Overall, great little find!

Totally stumbled on this classic diner gem! I was staying near Brown University and searched "breakfast dinner near me" and five blocks away was Louis Family Restaurant. I walked instead of driving to soak in the rich history of the older buildings. I had two eggs over easy, bacon and home fries and coffee for $11. Solid classic breakfast served with a smile from a young waitress. I'm from California and a full breakfast for under $12 is very rare. I has happy to tip $5. Heck I came back the next day and had a veggi scramble. Which was awesome, ask for easy onion. BUT the best part about this breakfast was the homemade Blueberry Muffin! It was sooooo good! Don't sleep on the homemade muffins, 10 different choices. The atmosphere and vibe is good here. Mix of of people from young to old. Chat up the hostess/cashier she full of local knowledge and humor. Bonus points for being a Guy Fieri, DDD (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) stop. He had the BBQ chicken ravioli.

Alright, I love diners almost as much as I love great food and this place is a solid gem! I love everything about this place and I can't wait to go back and try more of the food. Be warned: the portions are HUGE! The food portions are definitely sized for blue-collar workers who are out busting their hump on the daily, so if you're a desk jockey (like myself) you may want to just share a meal with your company (nice thing is a lot of their dishes come in small or large sizes, so they've got you coveted regardless). Again: love this place and can't wait to go back!

On our way to Newport, we stopped at this amazing place for breakfast. I would like to start with the "drunk johnny" it was legendary. I am an omlette person, but this one stands out of all by far my top favorite one. I loved the coffee it was perfectly brewed and went well with the omlette and potato. The highlight of this place is that even the bread they serve here are homemade, and it is really good. It's worth it and must try if you are in and around the providence. Stop by, and you will never regret it.

The seasonal lavender lemonade is so good! It’s just the perfect amount of sweet. I got another iced tea, I forgot the name and it was pleasant as well. There’s a cool room in the back too! Andrea's Providence is a delightful gem in the heart of Rhode Island, where diners can indulge in authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. This cozy eatery offers a welcoming atmosphere perfect for lunch, dinner, or even late-night cravings. Guests rave about the generous portions and quick service, even during busy hours. The mezzo platter is a popular choice for sharing, while the lemony Avgolemono soup warms the soul.
Had a reservation for 6 on a Friday evening. They were ready for us and service received was amazing! Food was coming out quickly. All appetizers are amazing! If you order shareable plate, it’s very large and can fill 3-5 people. Food is typical Mediterranean. I can’t say it’s delicious, more on the average, but something you would expect from a Greek kitchen. I ordered medium lamb, order well done instead, it was chewy, had a well done piece and it was much better. More flavor and not as chewy.grilled octopus is delicious too, I always order it if it’s in the menu and this time I want disappointed. Mussaka is average and so is everything, but still this place deserves a 5 star overall. Atmosphere is very welcoming, servers try their best to accommodate and provide best service. Food is as expected, but not disappointing. If you are in the area and looking for a nice place to sit down and eat, come here and eat with confidence! Gyros are delicious!

Nice friendly service. Had reservations and were seated quickly. The appetizer platter was awesome and the Peta bread served with it was nice and warm. The Gyro meat on the Greek salad had lots of flavors. The beef in the kabab could have used a little more seasoning. Overall a great experience. Will go again.

Invited for a double date with friends and was happy to try a place I've yet to visit! Had heard good things about Andreas, and yet tonight, most of our meal fell short. The service was not great either as our waiter was bringing over the check while one of our party was still eating and ended up redoing them as we wanted to order desert and I ordered an expresso, which sadly was bland in flavor. My and my wifes meals were both over driven by the cheese casing, as the content inside was not very well seasoned as described. The end result was the only delite was the hostess! Maybe we will try it again one day

Eyes were too big for my Stomach but the meat was all perfectly cooked. Meatballs and lamb were worth the money little pricey on the kabob end but the rest of the food made up for it. Crisp drinks and wonderful area seating outside. Nice waitress all a pleasant experience 5/5

Food is good and portions healthy. Had the mezzo platter, roasted 1/2 chicken and lamb shank and chicken soup.Food came out quick. Service is good even though they were very busy, so points for that. The mezzo platter is good to share, the chicken soup is good and lemony, the lamb shank was the winner fork tender and nicely seasoned and mash potatoes were super buttery and had lots pf butter LOL. The roasted chicken was good little dry on the breast which is expected but good portion. Decent place for quick bite…!!!

Haven’t come here since I was a teenager. It’s still just as good. I love the Avgolemono soup (lemon chicken orzo) Food was ready quickly They still take tables really close to closing time on a weekday. It’s fancy-ish but there is a more casual back seating area and they still have sports on TV. The waiters seemed to have had a long day but they still checked in on me as they got their stuff together.

Seven Stars Bakery is a laid-back establishment that offers a diverse selection of artisanal breads, delectable pastries, and savory sandwiches alongside quality coffee. Regular patrons appreciate the attentive morning staff and the fresh array of treats. The Russian tea cakes are particularly beloved, although they are only available during winter holidays. Customers also praise the friendly and professional team but note that some drinks may not be filled to the brim despite their high prices.
I’ve never dined in here, but have dropped in many times to order baked goods. Their lemon cakes are to die for! In fact, their bread and pastries tend to be so delicious, I never end up with any pictures of them. When you order loaves from them they can slice them for you right in the back. They’re quite a good price and always delicious. The coffees and iced teas are also great. Parking tends to be quite busy, since there’s about 6 spots in front.

I visited this cafe three days in a row during my trip to Providence, RI, with my husband. We enjoyed a variety of pastries and savory dishes. The avocado toast was unique — they blend the avocado into a smooth purée, which isn't my personal preference (I prefer a chunkier texture). Nevertheless, everything else we tried was excellent. The pastries were particularly memorable, and I especially loved the rosemary cookie — a must-try!  We also enjoyed their cappuccinos and matcha lattes. The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a positive atmosphere. We visited around 11 AM several times, which was their busy period. There was a fairly long line, but it was worth the wait. The space itself is lovely — plenty of seating and a bright, inviting environment. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely return next time we're in Providence!

One of my new favorite places in Providence! We went here on a recent Saturday around 5pm, ordered delicious espresso martinis, sat outside on the patio with the windows of the restaurant open, and listened to an awesome jazz trio playing live music inside the restaurant. There were people there having food, having drinks just listening to the music, sitting alone reading or working on their computer, talking at their table- it was a wonderful cafe/bar vibe where you could feel comfortable doing any of those things, just enjoying the afternoon and being around others. We appreciated that they could make our espresso martinis without Baileys. Their soup of the day happened to be vegan/plant-based but none of their pastries were vegan/plant-based 😥- we would have gotten a pastry if they were.

Third times a charm when rounding the building trying to find parking on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Lucky the corner window was open and we had a cozy spot to enjoy soup, scone and cookie with delicious beverages. The only complaint from my 17 year old was the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie was too heavy on the chocolate and not a good balance of oatmeal. Thanks for the lovely respite for a few Southern Californians who didn’t find any charming, delicious goody places in Warwick. Thanks.

Posting later than I would have liked. We were lucky to eat here in July, we had to queue given the popularity of the place. Service was quick and the food was great.

Nestled on the east side of Providence, Meeting Street Cafe exudes a charming 1950s ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. This delightful eatery offers a menu brimming with comforting options reminiscent of your mother's cooking, featuring an array of sandwiches, salads, and classic American breakfast dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty Steak & Cheese Hoagie or fluffy blueberry pancakes made from scratch, each bite is sure to satisfy your cravings.
Food was great. Order at the counter and seat yourself. Nice size portions for the money. Nice little find.

Food is good, but I was overcharged today. Should cost $2 to get a side of fries with the purchase of a burger. The guy charged me $7.25 for a plate of fries. Photo of plate attached. Very tasty fries, and the burger was good, too. Would give a better rating aside from the poor service at the register. P.S. a guy at the table next to me was charged $29 for two pancakes and a bowl of chili. Maybe the guy working the register today needs training or the prices are kind of high here.

I really wanted this place to be better than it was. My son had a chocolate milk, a side of bacon and and full stack of chocolate chip pancakes, I had an orange juice and a bacon and cheese omelette and it was 74 dollars before tip. It wasn’t 74 dollars good and that’s the problem for me. When you walk in, you walk up to order, then find your seat. If our meal total was like 40 then this would have been 5 stars for the value. I will say the orange juice was amazing clearly hand squeezed.

This is a classic spot on Thayer St. I love that Meeting St has stuck around through all of the iterations of this area. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is solid but the coffee leaves a bit to the imagination. I enjoyed my veggie omelet with cheese and potatoes. Overall, a solid option for a casual breakfast.

Food was good, coffee good. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. Friendly and quick service.A bit pricey at $15.34 with tax compared to other places with same food. Place was comfortable, however I noticed many stained ceiling tiles.

Very tasty and well made food. It didn't take long to receive our meals. Bagels seemed about a day old though. Clean but average interior. Overall, good stuff.

All day breakfast plus a plentiful lunch selection leave room for a fickle appetite, and do not disappoint in either quality or quantity. Service is great, good attitudes, but can be rather slow in terms of turnaround. Worth the wait. For more details, check out my full review here: bit.ly/meetingstreet-review

Ordered the Thanksgiving sandwich, and something wasn’t right. Something taste like the cold from the refrigerator and really bad. I took it apart so I can see what was in the sandwich that had that taste and it was the stuffing, omg the taste and smell of it was so putrid I called and they tell me that they tasted it and that, that’s how they do stuffing there and I said that’s sad. They did however refund me my money fairly fast so grateful for that.

Great to see this place here. Just noticed it today and popped in. Had a very nice light-roast espresso—and at a good price! Will have to come back and try some of their specialties another time.

Spinach and Cheese Breakfast burrito last month: well made and cut in half, fairly tasty and then realised there was so much cheese , the grease was leaking out everywhere. Couldn't finish the last couple of bites. Perhaps less chedder(fattier cheese) and more feta? It was a bummer. Today tried the Pesto Panini and it was OK. Pesto was tasty and tomatoes fresh, chicken and and bread were....eh. Really have high hopes for this cafe, as there's not much open on weekends, and not only do we as RISD employees look for good spots to grap lunch, we also LOVE recommending places, especially Hazel. Staff has been great on my two visits, and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Cannot comment on coffee or beverages. Chairs, tables and benches are inviting. However, the all black walls and too-loud music make it less attractive to stay and enjoy. Will give it another try for food next month and see how it goes.

We tried the new location today. Maybe they are still getting their bearings but the latte was not drinkable. They have high end equipment and the place is cute but the coffee was very very bitter. I feel bad writing a bad review for a new place but it’s in the hopes that they’ll better train their baristas or work out the kinks.

This is just simply a great place to get a great cup of coffee. The bariste prepared us a double and a triple chai latte that were the best this side of New Orleans!

Nestled in Providence, the Seaplane Diner is a delightful spot that captures the essence of classic American diner culture. With an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering breakfast options, it’s no wonder this place has garnered such a loyal following. Diners rave about their generous portions and delicious flavors, all at wallet-friendly prices. The atmosphere exudes nostalgic Americana with charming vintage decor and juke boxes adding to its character.
Exactly what you want from a diner. Easy to get to from 95 and easy to get back on the highway. The service was fast and friendly and the food was hot and good. We had the stuffed french toast and the eggs benedict. The coke was a little flat but it wasn’t anything to be upset about. Loved this little diner and would happily go back when I’m in the area again.

Small neighborhood diner serving breakfast and lunch with good food and good prices. Menu is typical with all the traditional choices. 12 tables and counter dining available. They still have plastic screens up from covid days so the dining area looks choppy. Busy with locals when I was there. Several customers were on a first name basis with the waitress. Always a good sign, Eggs, home fries and pancakes were all good. If you are a diner enthusiast this place should be on your list. Note early closing on the weekends.

An ancient diner on the side of a lonely road. Swivel stools at the counter, and a few booths. Offering breakfast perfection! Welcoming, friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Quick service, and the best tasting eggs and bacon I have had in a while. Coffee was hot and fresh and kept coming. Lots of regulars, and lots of menu choices. Ample parking area on the side. Great choice! We saw a very dusty Uma Thurman come in and sit at the counter and ask for a glass of water…

5 stars are not enough for this place! I had the stuffed French toast and it was easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Very reasonable prices and huge portions. Staff are all friendly and the service was quick. The restaurant was full and we maybe waited 10 minutes for a table, which was well worth it. They have an expansive menu to please even the pickiest eater’s taste. We ran into a local and he said this is the best breakfast spot in the city. So thankful we ventured off the beaten path to find this gem!

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from a date night in the city. The menu was great and then the page of specials, it was so hard to choose what to get. I decided on funfetti pancakes and my husband got a banana split waffle. It was delicious!! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great start to our morning!

Sydney Providence is a cozy cafe in the city that brings a taste of Australian coffee culture to its patrons. The menu features a variety of Australian-inspired coffee drinks, including flat whites and long blacks, as well as unique options like the Sapphire latte brewed with Blue Majik algae extract. In addition to their impressive coffee selection, the cafe offers delicious brunch options such as avocado toast with smoked salmon and vegan tomato soup made with locally sourced ingredients.
Casual little spot. The pictures make it look a lot bigger than it is, but it's cute! Great place to stop by for a bite if you're waiting for an AM or afternoon train. We are heading back to NY today and decided to stop by for breakfast. Our food was delicious! We got the Savory Toast & the Bolo Breakfast Sandwich, which consists of fried egg, quality prosciutto, sharp cheddar, Sriracha aioli and delicious limey avocado. I didn't know what bolo bread was, (apparently a Portuguese muffin) but it was wonderful! I added a little Franks to it and scarfed it down in 5 minutes. The coffee is smooth and fabulous ☕ Prices are great. 10/10 recommend!

This clean, bright cafe was close to the hotel where I stayed for work, so I gave it a try. I grabbed a coffee, overnight oats and macaroons. I liked the quality and service enough to go back a second time to try their coconut espresso martini. It was just what I needed after a long day. I recommend the Cookie Monster macaroon if they have it in the case (blue with chocolate chip filling).

Wow!!! The egg sandwich h was phenomenal! A generous amount of avocado, the egg was made a little runny (the way I like it), the bread was unlike any English muffin or biscuit I’ve had. It was fantastic! Also, the Aussie treats like Lamington and chausson pastry with spinach and cheese were phenomenal. The coconut water was great too but it took several people trying to get it open.

This is a must visit for brunch place, when in Providence. Close to the train station, you can just walk straight up there and start your day with an amazing meal. The variety of options you get is amazing. Savoury, sweet, vegetarian. Name it and they have it. Bonus points for having this amazing reusable cups for the beverages. We liked it so much that we ordered two coffees so we can get two of them and we haven’t stopped using them in our daily life since then.

The West Side Diner is a classic prefabricated diner car with an Art Deco interior, featuring chrome and glass elements. This historic place offers a menu filled with traditional breakfast items like eggs, French toast, and pancakes, as well as lunch options such as veal parmesan, turkey dinner, and burgers. Although not an original diner from the 1800s, it pays homage to history by replicating the concept invented in Providence.
They are friendly with a clean environment and great food! Captures the authentic Providence diner, which most don’t! If you’re in Providence, Rhode Island, this is a must needed to schedule breakfast that you have to put on your agenda.

I went here to give it a try because I seen it on social media a post saying come and sit outside enjoy the weather and have some mimosas no one was outside I was like great I asked was told NO I CAN NOT SIT OUTSIDE it was just me and my husband I wanted to be outside it was quite and not to many people then the host took us to THE BACK ALL THE CONTRARY OF OUTSIDE THERE WAS A LOT OF PEOPLE BACK THERE AND SUPER LOUD like why seat us all the way in the back that’s weird there was boot available. I had the egg Benedict and i ordered and it was done less then 5 minutes idk but that was weird it was not great at all and also ask for PINK MIMOSA which is also on the website the waiter said I don’t know what’s that..mind you I seen pictures on their Instagram and showed them to her and also reviews here with pictures like a month old and she said that’s our old menu…two different kind of mimosas they both tasted the same so disappointing no orange 🍊 no presentation horrible …and my husband said his home fries tasted like onions 😩is like the grill is used for everything and not cleaned at all 🤮I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. If I could I will give 0 starts to this place is overrated for real. PHOTOS IS MINES AND THE OTHER ONE IS ANOTHER PERSON REVIEW FROM A MONTH AGO WITH THE SAME MIMOSA I WANTED AND THEY TOLD ME THATS FROM THE OLD MENU. I mean look and compare idk i feel like they treat who they want good or pick and choose who deserves better service.

I've been coming to West Side Diner for years, and I have to say—Danielle is hands down the best bartender they've ever had. Her drinks are consistently spot-on, and she has an amazing knack for remembering what everyone likes. She's incredibly attentive, friendly, and always makes you feel welcome. Danielle truly elevates the whole experience at the diner. If you're stopping by, make sure to grab a seat at the bar when she's working—you won’t be disappointed!

Enjoyed breakfast thoroughly! Old-time diner atmosphere makes for a good experience. Servers and employees were all pleasant to deal with and welcoming. Our server, Kayla, was attentive even though it was starting to get busy. Eggs Benedict for my girlfriend and stuffed French toast for me. Added a side of corned beef hash (definitely made on site) and baked beans as well. A great find for a tasty Sunday morning breakfast before heading out theifting!

Great little place for breakfast or lunch. This was my second time visiting. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious, as well as their omelets. I also ordered a fall drink today, a caramel apple martini, which was delicious. Whether you eat inside or outside, you'll enjoy the space. The wait staff are all kind and helpful as well.

My friends and I came in on Nov 1st around 11am. It was a Saturday post-Halloween so we were understanding that it might be a lil crazy. My boyfriend ordered a breakfast burrito that looked incredible and my best friend ordered the current omelette special. I ordered a turkey wrap that was missing some sauce so it tasted a bit dry. Our server was quite dismissive towards us, just throwing the check on the table. We got the vibe that it was short-staffed perhaps.

My wife and I have lived on the west side of Providence for years, and we’ve driven past this diner countless times saying, “We really should go.” We finally did—twice—and I’m glad we did. Both visits were excellent. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and of course, the classic endless diner coffee sealed the deal. We were pleasantly surprised to see alcohol on the menu, though we didn’t try it this time. We’re big diner fans, and this one easily ranks among our favorites. On my first visit, I ordered the Texas toast French toast, which was perfectly done. On the second, I tried the crab Benedict—outstanding both times. My wife had the crab Benedict on our first visit and the huevos rancheros with a side of corned beef hash on the second, all of which she loved. The diner offers great value as well—delicious meals at an affordable price. We’ll definitely be back and are happy to have such a reliable spot nearby.
Michael F — Google review
Disappointing service. Waited for over 15 minutes for a glass of apple juice, meanwhile the waitress just hung out and walked around on her phone. Used to really enjoy coming here but it’s overcrowded and it doesn’t seem like they care about good service. Complete lack of communication or care for paying customers. Walked out this morning because all I was served was coffee and had been left waiting 15+ minutes for a glass of apple juice

Nestled within the Hilton Providence Hotel, The Vig is an elegant sports bar that perfectly blends a retro aesthetic with modern comforts. With its moody lighting, hardwood floors, and mid-century leather seating, it creates a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere for guests. The menu is packed with upscale American classics; you can indulge in mouthwatering options like fried chicken sandwiches or a French onion burger. For heartier fare, try the grilled pork porterhouse or seared salmon—each dish crafted to satisfy your cravings.
Great bar! The bar staff here is very friendly and all of the are hard workers. The liquor choices are wide and varied. Probably a dozen or so flavored vodkas. An average selection of draught beer. A slightly larger selection of bottles and cans. Had their BLT one evening. It had super thick bacon, ample slices of tomatoes and leaf lettuce.
Tony S — Google review
We stopped at the Vig during the Rhode Island Food Fights Big Burger Blowout, and were pleasantly surprised with the food and service. Normally hotel bars have mid-tier food and the staff are just trying to churn customers to get more drinks served, but the folks at the Vig were some of the most attentive and kind people we have had the pleasure of meeting! The burger was delicious, a nacho-inspired mish-mash, with spectacular beer-cheese instead of the canned stuff that other restaurants pass-off as queso. We had the apple blossom dessert and it was a perfect ending to the night.

My only knock on this place is looks like they are worried about overhead cost as there isn't enough staff. There was only one bartender and one cook who at times had to make the long to bring out the food. No complaints on the bartender or the buger and fries as they were great. It's a college town quit being cheap and hire people so your restaurant can be full.

The Patio on Broadway in Providence now offers a delightful brunch experience, featuring delicious food and drinks. The restaurant's beautiful ambiance caught the attention of visitors passing by. Guests were quickly seated and enjoyed a delightful mimosa flight with three different flavors presented on a charming wooden display board. The Buffalo cauliflower bites were crispy and perfectly balanced in terms of spice and creaminess, while the Poke Bowl was fresh and complemented by wonton chips.
This was my second time visiting, and it definitely lived up to my first experience! We ordered the French toast, chicken and waffles, the Chunky Monkey cocktail, and an iced latte. Everything was delicious, and the food came out hot, fresh, and tasty. The portion sizes were generous. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and service was quick without feeling rushed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a satisfying brunch spot with great vibes and consistently good food.
Noora — Google review
We stopped in on a Wednesday night and were seated immediately for dinner. There were just a few other tables in there and plenty of seating. They had decorated nicely for the season. We started with the cauliflower curry appetizer and it was DELICIOUS. We asked for another spoon so that we could eat up all of the great sauce. We had glasses of an orange wine from Slovenia that was wonderfully drinkable. We ordered the pink pasta, for a gluten free diner. She said it was delicious, flavorful, and she couldn’t finish the whole portion it was so filling. We also had the maple glazed salmon over a butternut apple mash with Brussels sprouts. What a delightful dish! The portion was huge! A large, perfectly cooked and seasoned piece of fish over a bowl filled with the mash. The only suggestion I have is to season the mash; it could have used some salt and they did not have any salt or pepper on any tables in the restaurant. Overall a nice meal!
Monica Y — Google review
Service was very friendly, humorous, quick, and efficient, and there is both indoor and outdoor seating and there is a good variety of choices on the menu, including chicken sandwiches, lobster roll, calamari and a host of other goodies. The portions are really generous, so either come with a big appetite or plan to come away with your next meal in a box. This place is pretty expensive as it was $152 with tip for the three of us (no alcohol, just an iced tea, Diet Coke and iced latte ) so that is a lot of money for advanced comfort food.

We are new to town and this place offered a great experience, from start to finish! Our server Christine was a gem. She provided great recommendations about food/drink options and also great places to visit in the area. The food was piping hot, creative, and delicious! The GM Micheal made it a point to table touch and check in to get our feedback, which is truly a rarity these days. The effort did not go unnoticed and we will definitely be back. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

We flew to Providence to celebrate my birthday weekend and stumbled upon this charming place. The waitstaff was amazing and the food was yummy. If weather permits definitely eat outside. We had a blast people watching and munching. The burger and truffle fries are a must!! We will definitely visit again.

Very nice place with outdoor seating. There’s free street parking and we didn’t have an issue to find a spot. Our server was friendly and attentive. The chicken and waffles along with the risotto, poke bowl, and scallops were a hit for our party. The Mac and cheese and the shrimp scampi were lacking flavor. Also the portion sizes were not very big, if you plan on sharing with someone.

Wow! The coconut curry appetizer was so flavorful, warm, and delicious. The pink vodka pasta (gluten free version available) was so well prepared--al dented with adequate sauce, tiny crispy pieces of prosciutto and paremesean. Recommend highly!

Had such a lovely experience this past Saturday, my partner and I stopped in for brunch without any reservations and they were incredibly accommodating, we were sat with Markus outside who was so attentive and check on us plenty. It was a pretty crazy Saturday as it was pride festival in pvd so the kitchen was a bit behind but was totally okay and we were happy to wait and Markus made the wait very easy and even offered up some mocktails while we waited and chatted us up a bit. My go to now for brunch! I ordered the lobster Bennie and I highly recommend so delicious and flavorful and they weren’t shy with the chunks of lobster 😊

Little Sister is a charming Puerto Rican-influenced cafe in Providence that offers an exceptional dining experience. The cafe is known for its killer brunch, featuring Caribbean, Portuguese and Spanish pastries, as well as a unique wine program with labels from unexpected corners of the globe. For dinner, guests can enjoy a chef's tasting menu with Spanish and Caribbean influences. The chef, Milena, is attentive to dietary restrictions and offers a varied and delicious five-course tasting menu.
I've been trying to take the 3 hour drive to visit the area for years. I wanted to sight see but most importantly check out Little Sister. As a longtime friend of the owner's older sister, it was on my list of things to do if I ever visited Rhode Island. This place did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the service was top notch and the salsa music in the background was the icing on the cake. The guava quesito I had was YUMMY!! I was sad that I did not get to meet Milena in person but I will definitely be back.

The food was good! Pretty salty but it may have been just a one off thing. Will definitely return to try again. The ambiance was my favorite part of the experience!

Considering we were walk-ins at the start of brunch hour, the 3 of us got sited quickly. It’s very very small…prospective, if 20 are dinning, the place’s packed! I say make reservations for sure. Food was good but over priced. $24 for an egg cheese w/avocado, tomato on brioche w/a side of salad or home fries. The 3 of us got sandwiches and 1 drink each and 1 app. With tip, almost $140. Most expensive brunch I’ve ever had. Good atmosphere and lovely waitress too.

Food was good and well seasoned. Portions are smaller for the price point. The drinks were good. Dulce de Leche french toast was too sweet with too many dressings. Mofongo with pernil was good. Empanadas were great and had a good amount of filling in the flaky crust. The variety of hot sauces were delicious. Not accommodating for larger groups, and children or babies. The place is very small for a brunch spot. They limit you for a 1 hour brunch. Before sitting down we were told our table needed to be given up in 45 minutes since our reservation was for 11 and we were all seated at 11:15. This made brunch feel like a rushed experience for everyone. Service was not that great. They kept missing things, didn't provide enough plates, and forgot to give us a cardamom knot. They provided the cardamom knot to go and when having it at home, it was hard and a bit burnt. We made this reservation for my friend who came from out of town for her birthday. The birthday notation in the reservation was not at all acknowledged. There are too many things in fine print for this restaurant reservation that make this feel like it could have been a better experience overall.

As, someone who has been exposed to Latin food my whole life . This place really hits the mark . Everything was amazing . I took home 6 peices of pastry . The cardamom buns where a15 out of 10! And the chicken & waffles . You can taste so many familiar spices & ingredients in every bite !

This is absolutely one of the best meals I ever had which is saying something because I've eaten across Europe, Turkey, and North America. Their homemade shakshuka was so rich and flavorful and they bottle it and sell it along with an assortment of honemade jams and hot sauces. The service was fantastic. It took a bit to get our food (which is normal for shakshuka) and they bought us cookies for our wait. It was also a beautifully decorated cafe. Highly recommend.

I don’t want to leave a good review because then this place will become famous and I will never get a table. Service: Why are the staff members so happy here? What a nice bunch of people. The energy spills into the delicious food. Food: Get the Mofongo Benedict. The food is like a hug from inside your tummy. This Latina is very happy to have found this amazing fusion of different flavors to feast on. Thank you. Music: Gosh, listening to Juan Luis Guerra brought me back in time. Lovely music and it was not loud. Yas! I could have a conversation with my partner and listen to the music. My husband was left unsupervised and bought hot sauce and coffee to bring home. We got a complimentary pastry from the owner. We also learned that they have special dinning events on some Thursday nights. Check them on Resy. So, don’t come here. I don’t want to share the happy people with the delicious food with anybody. Mine.

So much heart and attention to detail has been put into this cozy, neighborhood family friendly spot. It’s obvious the owners love their culture and the food they make. You can feel the love. Café con leche was perfect, just like abuela would make. It missed the secret pinch of salt but still excellent. Ordered a $5.50 chicken empanada that didn’t deliver unfortunately. I grew up eating Cuban empanadas and they are always - hot, juicy, heavy and full of flavor with a little crunchy-chewy action with the dough. This had none of those elements. A meager spoonful of chicken stuff that had zero flavor. Their home made tamarind hot sauce helped me finish it. Their star dish - mofongo Benedict was excellent explosion of Latin flavor and recommend sharing as it is large. The shredded pork was cooked perfectly. Their abundant selection of pastries looked amazing but didn’t try this time as the mofongo filled me up. Giving a 5 star for overall experience for flavor and ambiance. 💙

The Providence Marriott Downtown offers a perfect blend of city hotel convenience and resort-style amenities. The renovated hotel features fantastic rooms and exceptional service, making it an excellent choice for families. Guests can enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool with weekend music events, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel boasts a full-service spa and a 24-hour gym to cater to guests' wellness needs.
What an amazing stay we had! First of all, we requested early check in and late check out, both granted even though they were sold out both days. It was an hour each way but valuable. Next, the courtyard has beautiful cabanas, a bar, and the crown jewel an indoor/outdoor pool! In the shape of the letter H, with half indoor and half outdoor you and the kids will have a blast! Also a jacuzzi on the indoor portion. There is a restaurant called Bluefin near the lobby with excellent breakfast and pretty good dinner. I recommend getting a poolside room, a slider opens to the courtyard and jump in the pool. Excellent time!

This past weekend my two friends and I decided to visit Providence, unforeseen circumstances wound up with one of my friends being admitted to the hospital late at night. I wanted to assure we had a comfortable safe and warm place to stay while I waited for her in the ER so I called Downtown Providence Marriott. I spoke with a gentleman, although I unfortunately did not think to ask his name though he has a very very distinct accent, who told me he would book me a room for the night. I proceeded to give him my credit card information and he provided me with instruction that it was okay no matter what time we checked in as I told him we were waiting for my friend to get discharged but that we just needed to check out the following morning at noon. With my full name, credit card information, and background on the situation I was in he booked my room and even provided me a confirmation number for my reservation, not only did he verbalize my confirmation code I was also sent an email about my reservation as well. After my friend was discharged we were all exhausted and headed to the Marriott where we were met with locked doors and the same man who I spoke to on the phone interrogating us through the intercom system. He insisted we were at the wrong hotel even though I provided the address AND phone number I called for the Downtown Providence location and he refused to let us through the doors. As I said this man has a VERY distinct accent and intonation and I made clear I was the one he spoke to on the phone for the reservation a mere 2 hours prior but he insisted it wasn’t him ( mind you the only other person at the check in was a woman and I spoke to a man.) I was trying to stay as collected as I could but after 5 hours in an emergency room this was the last thing I expected to have to deal with. After calmly providing all the information he asked of me at the locked door i saw him pick up his phone and call for security. The older security man that came to speak with us was this hotels only saving grace, he listened and profusely apologized to us for the events of the night because it was clear to him that the man at the counter was out of line. My two guesses on why the couldn’t find the reservation I booked, gave a card for, and got a confirmation number for is as follows: 1: the man at the front desk screwed up and just point blank never actually booked my room for me But the more likely is 2: when he saw me and my two friends at the door, inarguably looking a bit haggard from our time in the hospital he didn’t want “people like us” in the hotel Mind you we are three very normal young women who happen to have faced a good deal of misfortune that night and we were met with the most hostile and unsympathetic customer service I have literally ever seen in my life. The man working the over night 9/6-9/7 with the gray hair and accent should be held accountable for his despicable behavior and I sure pray the any young woman in his life is safe around him because he was more than willing to let my friends and I stay out in the cold early morning in an unfamiliar city.

When I to my room i noticed it was nice clean and quiet. I had a long weekend and was exhausted so I ate some food and went right to sleep. When I woke up I noticed some stains on my sheets… no big deal. When I get to the bathroom to brush my teeth I find pee all over the toilet, too the paste in the sink and on the walls, and hair in the shower. The bathroom was completely disgusting. I get down stairs and go to grab some coffee and the man behind the desk comes over and questions if I’m a guest at the hotel, and asked my room number. I tell him my room number and go back to getting coffee, then I could hear him whispering to another member of the staff that people are in the building that shouldn’t be and she asks how they got in.. at this point I’m extremely aggravated and just left. I didn’t even get the chance to speak on my grievances over the room. The room was very expensive and I’m pretty upset even thinking about the whole ordeal.

I had my wedding reception and wedding block at the Providence Marriott Downtown on 6/14. Working with the staff here was a breeze, a literal reception team of my dreams. They did everything in their power to make sure we had the food, atmosphere, and decor set up that we wanted despite rain and changing plans. The staff was amazing -- catering, social events, and the servers and bartenders. Would recommend Marriott hotels to anyone getting married!! All guests were amazed at the niceties in the newly renovated rooms, price, and ease with the reception right downstairs. Everyone was hanging in the hotel lobby and bar all weekend!

I’m honestly heartbroken by how this situation was handled. I’ve always trusted the Marriott name, believing it stood for integrity, professionalism, and care for its guests. Unfortunately, my recent experience proved otherwise. After checking out, I realized I had accidentally left a personal item in my room — something of both monetary and sentimental value. I immediately called the hotel, fully expecting they’d locate it quickly. Instead, I was brushed off, passed between departments, and ultimately told that “nothing was found.” It’s devastating to think that something I trusted would be safe in my room simply vanished without accountability. The lack of urgency, empathy, or even basic follow-up from staff was appalling. Not once did anyone seem genuinely concerned or take ownership of the situation. Marriott, you’ve lost more than just my item — you’ve lost my trust. Guests deserve honesty and care, not excuses and indifference. I will never stay at this location again, and I strongly urge others to be cautious — if you leave anything behind, don’t expect compassion or effort in helping you get it back.

It's near the freeway about 20 min from the providence airport. The dinner was GREAT! Fresh seafood and crab cakes...to die for. Thank you Victoria at the grille bar for the recommendations. She gave excellent and attentive service. It's in the downtown area so I didn't feel safe to cross the busy streets. There are however fantastic rated restaurants less than 10 min driving time. Hemenways was top rated I was also told by the locals that the Roger Williams Park zoo had a fantastic pumpkin carving spectacular going on right now. Didn't bring Archie but they do allow pets.

My husband made a reservation for myself and my two adult daughters to spend a weekend celebrating my daughter's birthday. Upon arrival at about 4pm, we were unable to check in as the reservation was under my husband's name. The woman at the desk said that we'd need to get him on the phone to change the reservation. I left him a voicemail. She then walked to the back room (I could see her!) and came back claiming she'd spoken with a supervisor. She had not spoken to anyone. She changed her story and said actually that he would either need to be there in person OR he could contact the 3rd party he'd book through (on his credit card points) and change the reservation to my name. I asked her what the latest time we could get this done would be without losing the reservation. She said she could hold the reservation until 7pm. Her attitude was very negative, and she was straight out RUDE to us. The only thing I could think of is that we were dressed very casually and my daughter is autistic. There was no reason for the way she spoke with us. We were very polite. I reached my husband at 5pm and he contacted the 3rd party to change the reservation. The 3rd party said that they were unable to change the reservation because there were NO ROOMS AVAILABLE and the hotel had cancelled our room. This was ONE HOUR after we'd been told they could hold it until 7pm -- 2 hours sooner than the deadline. Because he had paid on points, I now had to go to another hotel and pay cash I had not budgeted in order for us to keep our birthday plans for my daughter. Now I was out $400 I had not planned to spend. Then it got even more frustrating. I reached out to Marriott customer service and was told that they would take care of it for me. All I asked for was acknowledgment that they had treated us badly and an apology. What I got was nothing. I was ghosted. I reached out a 2nd time and never got any response from customer service. I have always used Marriott as my go-to and am SO disappointed in the treatment we received from the Providence hotel and the customer service department.

We won a free night here, booked it through the number on our certificate, and arrived for our night's stay, only to be told they would not honor the certificate their sales team had given. The manager clearly had a room set aside for us, as we had a reservation, but refused to honor it. We are long term Marriott fans, but extremely displeased by the lack of service at this location.

We stopped in without reservations and was able to get seating at the bar. The view of the lake from the restaurant patio was phenomenal, you feel like you are right on the lake. Service was excellent, food was good as well. We had a burger and salad and it was good.

So, my son ordered the chowder...I had a bite, it was amazing. Service was top notch. However, my filet was literally white when I cut into it. Unacceptable. The wait staff took it away, they promised it would be right on second attempt and it was. The manager came by and took it off my bill as well as my glass of wine. Acceptable. They made it right and because of that they get 4 stars from me. Great recovery Bluefin

it was fine? like the food was pretty solid. they were out of a few things tho and just overall weren't super busy but maybe that was due to it being a random Sunday night. perfectly fine. side note if you get the Greek salad they also give you extra dressing but the salad is already dressed so just be aware (I'm not a heavy dressing girlie yk)

Pretty bad experience. Server was pretty lacking in the emotion department, but this didn't cause an issue until our main entree. We started with wings, and while they were pretty overpriced they were very good. However, after waiting a good half hour for our meal my burger (I asked for old bay fries and no pickles nor tomatoes) came with regular fries and both pickles and tomatoes. On top of this, the patty was still mooing! It was bright red and literally bleeding onto the bun, I should've taken photos of it before I sent it back. After another 25 minute wait (it was not that crowded) my burger came with old bay fries, no pickles, and tomatoes 🫩 I was too hungry to send it back again so I just ate it.

I took my BF to bluefin bay resorts for his birthday and we stopped here on night one after driving 5 hours. We ordered food and the food looked horrible and tasted disgusting. My BF never complains and will just stay quiet and pay anyway. But I told him not to because it was his birthday and we should take the food back and request something much more simple. We were seated right out side the kitchen doors. And the entire kitchen staff including out waiter from argentina Lucy I believe was talking crap about us and mocking us. They we’re also making fun of us. We over heard every single thing they said about us. This was the worse experience ever and a way to ruin my BFs birthday!!!

I’m not sure it would be worth eating here if you weren’t already staying at the hotel. The small menu had a good amount of variety, but the descriptions provided were a lot more promising than what was actually delivered. I ordered the papardelle bolognese (which I believe was one of, if not the most expensive items on the menu) and was thoroughly unimpressed. It was a vegan dish that lacked flavor and the pasta, which I’m assuming was homemade, tasted over cooked and was difficult to chew. I ended up eating not even half and didn’t bother bringing the rest back to my room with me. Someone else in my party ordered the prosciutto and fig flatbread, which was yummy but absolutely should not have been called a flatbread. The dough was so thick that at some points we had to cut the pizza with a fork and knife because we couldn’t bite through it. The calamari appetizer and fish and chip entree were both decent. Our waitress though, I believe her name was Kim, was phenomenal, very kind and attentive.

Took the wife out for our second anniversary, we decided to give Bluefin a try. It's a good looking place, music wasn't too loud, everything was clean. The food though, mid at best? Nothing wowed me, nothing stood out as anything more than meh. Calamari was bland, the crabcake sandwich was boring, even the Irish coffee at the end was half-assed at best. Not at all a memorable experience. Overpriced and overhyped. Skip it guys.

The Omni Providence Hotel is an upscale accommodation located in Downtown Providence, providing easy access to popular attractions such as the Museum of Art and Rhode Island School of Design. The hotel offers elegant rooms with ergonomic seating, spacious beds, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests can take advantage of amenities like an indoor pool, a gym, and a buffet breakfast at the on-site restaurant. Business travelers will appreciate the direct access to the Rhode Island Convention Center and 20 meeting rooms equipped with modern audiovisual technology.
Booked a reservation for a non-refundable room months ago. It was our first time at an Omni. The two weeks leading up to our overnight, I started reading over a dozen recent reviews that were 1-3 stars ranging from quality of service issues to cleanliness which was my main concern. I called the hotel a few days before our stay and addressed the reviews which they were “shocked by and were working on immediately.” When we arrived our room was spotless. We were roomed on the 5th floor. We had robes and toiletries. Our entire night was quiet and service was exceptional at check-in and out. We parked in the conference center parking garage for $25 overnight instead of the $45 of valet at the Omni. The garage connects to the hotel and it a 2 min walk over a sky bridge. Great location to a mall, CVS, bars and nice restaurants. 8 min walk to the flea market on Sunday and downtown Providence and the wharf. We loved our stay! Highly recommend.

The rooms are the downside, since they are old and have a couple issues mainly with the pipes. Beds are comfy though and the staff is nice. Plus it’s attached to the convention center and right downtown so a great location. The room service is tasty and quick!

Love staying here! This was the third stay and always amazing service, also so very clean. Jerry, the security guard, is honest and serious about his job. He makes sure guests are safe and taken care of. He personally made sure I got to where I needed to go safely and went above and beyond to ensure the best service. The front desk staff is amazing and I highly recommend staying at the Omni as they have a top notch crew, in a top notch location!

The Omni Providence Hotel is a great luxury option when you're staying in the city. It is convenient to dozens of nearby eateries and other entertainment. The rooms are spacious m, clean and fairly modern. They also have great beds. There are two restaurants on property. Flemmings and another high level brand. The service is friendly, fast and efficient for just about anything you'd need. The have valet parking as well as a self park garage with a hotel entrance. Definitely will be our go to place when visiting the region again.

I am writing this review with extreme disappointment after a truly terrible stay. This hotel failed on the two most fundamental levels: cleanliness and customer service. This was not a case of a minor oversight; the room was visibly dirty from the previous guests. The carpets/rugs were stained and had visible debris, the furniture was dusty and sticky, and the light switches were grimy. It was completely unacceptable. The Housekeeping Issue: We left the room at 8:15 AM for the day and noted a housekeeping cart just two doors down. We even exchanged "good morning" with the housekeeper. Despite this, our room was entirely skipped. The Unprofessional and Rude Front Desk: This was the worst part. When I called the front desk at 5:00 PM to report that our room had not been serviced, the staff member was immediately dismissive and argumentative. Instead of apologizing or sending someone to clean, he told me, "You must not have ever stayed at a hotel before," and condescendingly informed me that they "do not do turndown service." We were not asking for turndown service—a simple evening courtesy. We were asking why our basic, daily room cleaning had been completely neglected. He was deliberately misrepresenting our complaint to avoid responsibility. His attitude was nasty, unprofessional, and utterly shocking. Conclusion: A hotel should provide a clean, safe space and professional service. This hotel provided neither. The physical state of the room was unpleasant, but the disrespect from the front desk staff made the situation infuriating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere where you will be treated like a valued guest.
Vincent G — Google review
"upscale" hotel. I don't expect to have to hear mechanical whirring noises for close to 24hrs (22nd floor) at an upscale hotel. I don't expect half the gym to be broken at an upscale hotel. I don't expect to be asked if we want our room cleaned @ 4.30pm while we're trying to relax before going out for the evening, when they've had all day to clean while we were out. When calling down for coffee pods for the Keurig, I do expect it to be brought, and it wasn't. Anyway rant over, the hotel is in a great location, the hotel bar is really lovely, and the room itself (eg: bed, bathroom, cleanliness etc) is all good. But the noise thing was absurd. Yes we could have asked to switch rooms but 1. There shouldn't be any room with that level of noise, and 2. We were only there 2 nights so it just didn't seem worth it.

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotel is connected to the mall, as well as the Providence Convention Center, with makes it very convenient for meetings, as well as shopping. However, for the size of the hotel, there are limited restaurant choices so you have to venture out to find a place to eat.
Melissa N — Google review
Recently stayed for a conference. I had payed through a third party. Stay was fine. Room was average (West tower signature king). My issue is that the hotel charged me again for my stay, despite me having paid already. I only noticed while checking my credit card statement for something else. I called and they were able to offer me a refund which I’m still waiting for as they said it could take a couple days. However, the person on the phone offered zero apology for the inconvenience and mishap and instead tried to blame me for booking through a third party. I would not be inclined to stay here again due to this interaction.

The best cafe in the town for coffee and ice cream. They also serve a variety of sandwiches, pastries and other snacks. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with lots of natural light coming in through the windows. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making it easy to find a seat no matter how busy it gets.
I have been here a couple of times. They have a WIDE range of ice-cream flavours, and they even let you taste them! Their hand-made ice cream is so smooth and melts pleasantly in your mouth. Fun fact: They are even open till like 9ish. It is my go-to place after dinner!

This place was good. The ladies that worked there was cool. The place is on the small side and not to much sitting. The menu is nice big n clear to read. There are a good amount of items to choose from. They have the choices of small, medium, and large cups. Now please know you are not going to get the same size cups if you ate use to going somewhere like dunkin. The cups here are smaller. The coffee was fresh no burned taste and the smoothies are made with real fruit and vegetables. They will add or subtract whatever you do or don't want. The wait was not to bad especially knowing you were getting it fresh. Just know the traffic and parking is terrible. You are going to pay for quality.

do you guys use a tablespoon to measure your portions? Not only is your staff extremely rude and unfriendly but your ice cream scoop portions are embarrassing especially in comparison to all local places. I think if you are going to make the change from the nice coffee/ breakfast / lunch place to an ice cream only joint you should probably invest in being a comparable ice cream place with good customer service to sustain the longevity of your business

PVDonuts is a popular spot that offers gourmet donuts made with local ingredients and serves coffee in a vibrant setting. The culinary scene in Rhode Island has been making waves, with several women chefs and food business owners gaining recognition. Lori Kettelle, co-founder of PVDonuts, expressed her admiration for the supportive community and the city's enthusiasm for donuts.
PVDonuts catered our wedding. They were super helpful with picking out the selection. The donuts were amazing and the donut wall looked great. All our guests raved about the donuts. The minis are the perfect size. The cannoli filled were especially good.

PVDonuts – Providence, RI PVDonuts is absolutely worth the hype! 🍩 The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh dough and creative toppings hits you, and you know you’re in for something special. The donuts are huge, fluffy, and packed with flavor — truly next-level compared to your average shop. I loved the variety of flavors, from the fun seasonal creations to the classics done right. Each one is like a little work of art. The staff was upbeat and friendly, keeping things moving quickly even with a line out the door. The vibe is fun and casual, perfect for grabbing a treat to start the day or sharing with friends. If you’re in Providence, PVDonuts is a must-stop spot — indulgent, unique, and unforgettable!

I’ve been to PVD Donuts a few times before, but this was my first time checking out their new spot. The new location is way bigger and so much more comfortable; lots of seating and you don’t feel crammed in. Get there early because once a flavor sells out, that’s it! My husband and I grabbed the Carrot Cake, Vanilla Sprinkles, and a Honey Cruller. The Honey Cruller was the winner for me! Super light, flourless, and just so good. Definitely worth the visit!

5/5 Chocolate covered strawberries -- loved the crisp exterior with the moist interior of this old fashioned donut dough! I also really enjoyed the fresh strawberry flavor. Definitely on the sweeter side. 4/5 Tiramisu -- would say this is a good "not too sweet option" for those looking for those kinds of desserts! The brioche dough by itself as quite a salty bite to it, complemented with the mascarpone cream topping. I wish it had more coffee notes to resemble more of espresso dipped ladyfingers in tiramisu. These both traveled great in the box on the train with me to NYC! I would recommend going earlier or pre-ordering if you know you are visiting for sure as I noticed on their IG page they were sold out by 1pm on the day I visited.

This donut shop was very cozy inside and had quite a few tables. Loved the hanging plants from the ceiling. The donuts were decadent and you’ll pay for that- but they were a delicious treat that we ate at the park while all the runners and walkers came by. We had the blueberry fritter, chocolate cake donut, carrot cake donut, and maple bacon brioche donut. I also had the cold brew. We paid $36. My favorite was the carrot cake. I wish they had an apple fritter but their flavors rotate, as I like to try town’s apple fritters as I travel. If I’m in town again, I’d go back. Steps required to get into the shop.

I can see how popular this place is! I've only been successfully able to get in here once because I just like sleeping in too much. 😆 They do have to close early if they run out of donuts. I came in and the most helpful employee greeted me and assisted me with my order. I chose the carrot cake donut and a lavender iced coffee. The coffee was delicious and didn't need my usual cream or sugar. My carrot cake donut was fresh and perfectly sweet. Very delicious. I need to try to get back here again at an earlier time.

I've been wanting to check this place out after seeing it on social media; now I get the hype. They opened in 2016 and brought brioche style donuts to New England. The donuts are handmade fresh daily and they have a variety of flavors and unique combos to choose from. They have crullers, fritters, cake, filled brioche, old fashioned, and many more options. Every month they have different flavors and of course, different seasons comes with different offerings. They also have coffee from various vendors. The donuts are made by hand daily and with so many unique flavors to try. The brioche donut was huge, airy, and light; not too sweet which complements the various sweeter toppings. I had their maple bacon donut and that was so so so GOOD; the bacon was crispy/salty and the maple frosting was just the right amount of sweet and went well the airy brioche, I love the sweet and savory flavor. The service was great too, quick and friendly. There were seating inside and outside. The location is great on Wickenden Street with plenty of on-street parking; although, on weekends it may be tougher to find closer parking. I can't wait to go back and try out more of their donuts!

Restaurant and backery. Lots of backed sweet and savory. Tasty innovative sandwiches. Tasty soups. Very delicious food in general. Lots of drinks. High quality ingredients. Fast service. Very polite helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

The woman at the register was nice and helpful. This location has plenty of seating. After lunch time, there were people in here on their laptops working in the booths. It seems like it would be a comfortable spot for that. I remember the bread being better here when I was younger but it’s fine. This location does not have a drive through because it’s located inside the mall.

Great job kitchen & possible manager stream lining orders and handling hard people. Made me upset to see you guys have to deal with that but everything was handled pretty professionally. I got great service and great attitude. God Bless!

It has always been a good experience at Panera Bread. Keep it up - you may be a store manager, or a part-time employee. Keep it up and do a good job - you will be rewarded - just a matter of time when it is getting better. There are plenty of seating in this store. Great location at Providence Place mall to grab some healthy food in a relaxing place.

I ordered 8/21 they gave the Dasher the wrong order. I called and they said they were going to remake it and send me my order. That was almost 2 hours ago now and nothing happened. This isn't the first time they've messed up either, another time they promised to remake it and add a dessert. I got my food, cold, so it wasn't remade and no dessert. Stop promising things you're not going to actually do for the customer.

Daves Coffee is a well-known name in the local coffee scene, originating as a small, family-run business in Charlestown, Rhode Island. Since its establishment in 2005, it has expanded to become a popular destination for high-quality, small-batch roasted coffee. The Providence location offers a cozy atmosphere for coffee enthusiasts. Daves Coffee has gained recognition for offering an upscale version of Rhode Island's official state drink, coffee milk.
I give 5 stars to the two clearly new workers that were doing a great job, were friendly, attentive, helpful and learning. Tip to management: customers can hear you being rude and aggressive with your staff. These kids were learning, doing their best, and working hard. Please be kind to them instead of judging them loudly in front of customers. It was really uncomfortable to watch that happen and having worked in the service industry in the past, this was not fair to see you treat your new workers this way. And if someone makes a mistake, you should correct them politely and not in a hurtful manner. Coffee and food was great, please be more kind to your staff this is why no one wants to work anymore.

We had the best experience here! This was our first time in Rhode Island so we really wanted to try the coffee milk and it was absolutely delicious! The staff, especially Joe, were extremely patient and kind, and we bought a t-shirt and some coffee syrups to bring home. Overall, definitely recommend!

The mango lemonade was delicious and did not taste artificial, which is a very difficult thing to do. The croissant, bacon, egg, and cheese was very filling and also tasted great. I also appreciate that if you spend $25 you get a free drink. I definitely recommend going here; it’s very affordable and the store itself is very cute and cozy, a great place to study or do work.

Heard to try coffee milk while I was in Rhode Island. Specifically this place. And it’s actually really good. I talked about liking it so much (and trying to find other places that tasted just as good. Which I couldn’t find anywhere) that my (now) fiance proposed with a coffee milk bouquet very cute!

What an adorable spot!! I decided to try the weekly special Frankenstein Matcha. I ordered it less sweet. I came as part of a big group and all the employees did an amazing job getting the drinks out quickly and accurately. The drink I had was terrific. The ube was sweet and creamy and perfectly sweet and the matcha was nice and earthy. Ube and taro are some of my favorite drink flavors and this was similar to a bubble tea without the boba. The menu had a lot of options that sounded terrific so I'm hoping to go back soon and try something out! I saw they can add a homemade marshmallow and/or a maple whipped cream to any drink and those are both calling my name!!

Stopped here on a whim, we were walking by and needed our caffeine fix. I love coffee shops so I was excited to check it out. I read after the fact that they make all natural, small batch, cold brewed coffee syrup that you can mix with milk to make coffee milk; a Rhode Island staple. They roast coffee beans in their 7000 sq ft roastery in Narragansett. There are two Dave's Coffee shops, one in Charlestown and one in Providence. Love supporting a small business, especially from my home state! I saw a sign right out on the sidewalk showing their specials. I had to try out their iced cardamom vanilla oat milk latte; that was perfect and I could've drank a whole gallon of it. Service was great and ambiance was that of a cozy coffee shop. The coffee was fresh and tasty. A great asset to have in RI.

The baristas here are so sweet! They made the best drinks and had a wide variety of options. My friend and I got coffee there every single day of our trip in Rhode Island. She kept getting the white chocolate hibiscus lavender matcha, and I got the sea salt coconut and honey latte! We also got the ocean latte and mango honey matcha, both of which were also great 😆🩷

Had a great latte here vanilla. Very good espresso too. There coffee is small batch roasted and you can definitely tell they take pride in their work. Great people working here also very nice and they know their coffee. Their suggestion for a whole bean coffee to go was spot on. Blind pig I'm glad I got it very good rich and smooth. Roasted 5 days prior to my purchase. Worth every penny!

Nestled in the heart of Providence, White Electric Coffee stands out as a charming co-op coffeehouse that embodies both community spirit and culinary creativity. This eclectic spot not only serves up locally roasted beans but also delights patrons with an array of delicious food options, including pastries and sandwiches. The café is renowned for its unique seasonal lattes like Tiramisu and Pistachio Rose, alongside house specials such as the indulgent White Lightning and refreshing Flower Power.
I had two friends recommend this cafe and it did not disappoint- a long narrow neighborhood cafe that you could tell was filled with ‘regulars’ ☕️ Ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and tomato and a house coffee- both were perfect, no notes. I also got a pecan swirl for later and I love how it was packed with filling but not overly sweet which is a rare combo!

It's a place with a really cool vibe. I had an egg sandwich, and it was very good. Also, at the time I was there paintings of a local painter named Joe Marchesi were on the display. The paintings are pretty good, go check them out if you are in the neighborhood.

What a great place! The atmosphere is fantastic -- can just relax and enjoy the space, I can imagine doing a lot of writing here. The service was kind. And the coffee was delicious too (regular black coffee and a latte). The bagel was wonderful, with a good texture and tons of flavor. Overall, my only gripe is that I did not come sooner!

Came here in the morning and got some pastries which were pretty good and ordered a black sesame latte hoping it would be as good as the one I had in NYC. Unfortunately, the latte fell short. The black sesame syrup was way too sweet but I would give it a 2nd chance for regular coffee if I'm ever in the area as the staff was generally nice.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Providence, Res American Bistro is a delightful culinary gem that elevates traditional New American cuisine. This chic eatery, conveniently located near the Trinity Repertory Company, boasts an impressive menu featuring elevated steaks and fresh seafood. One standout dish is the Ocean Risotto, which combines pan-seared jumbo shrimp and dry scallops with a rich lobster beurre monte—it's so generous you might find yourself taking some home!
Food was delicious and we had a great time. The atmosphere seems more casual than your usual higher end restaurants. Overall food was excellent.

Excellent spot if you’re looking for a classy night out in Providence. Came here for the RI Food Fights burger competition, and their burger was by far the best tasting and was the best value, as you also got fries and a side of chicken nuggets. I also ordered a Brussels app, it was not what I expected and unlike most Brussels dishes that I’ve had, but it tasted great. The rest of their menu looked amazing as well. It’s definitely not cheap, but you will get what you pay for here. The pistachio martini was also delicious and unique. Bartender was friendly and conversational as well. It’s also in a great location right across from Trinity Rep so could make for a good pre-show meal. An excellent choice if you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just to splurge a little.

We will not be returning to Res. Service: Miguel S., although you were a very pleasant waiter, you only informed us about the specials after we inquired, and that was following our appetizer order. The service was quite slow, resulting in a meal that stretched over three hours. We appreciate your effort to come and apologize for the delay. Atmosphere: We sat in the upstairs area, where it was both hot and noisy. The women's bathroom, in contrast, was extremely cold. Washing my hands there felt like using the icy water left over from melted ice in a cooler. Food: They were out of so many beer options that we had to ask which ones were actually available. Additionally, they did not have the sparkling rosé we wanted. My salmon was tasty, but the plate was not sufficiently heated, and the spinach was overly salty. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his lamb. The dessert was impressively creative and we appreciated it. However, overall, this dining experience did not justify the expense of over $190.

We went on opening night, what a beautiful restaurant inside and out , it’s conveniently located a couple mins off of the highway and right in down town area. They have a 2 floor establishment , but with the windows on both floors , you will get some great views from either while you eat. For the first night being open , the staff were on their game, and they were all very friendly. We were even greeted by the chef and owners which was a pleasant surprise. Now on to the menu , the cocktails we had were amazing , my fave was “ the Sanchez” . The appetizers were unbelievable , you can’t go wrong with the lobster Tempura or the lamb chops. The main courses were exquisite. I had the butter aged sirloin , and it was mind blowingly delicious. I tried a bite of all my friends food and all the food was all flawless. So for my first time this place was everything you would expect from fine dining. I can’t wait to come back !!!

Came here for a dinner hosted by a vendor for work. Was able to try a bunch of different appetizers. Got the lobster roll, wished their had just a bit more lobster. The dessert tart was also delicious. Got the lychee martini and some strawberry drink that everyone was getting. Both drinks were good. Service was very good as there were prob 30 of us. Very attentive all night.

Food was good although the burger was unimpressive. Not bad just unimpressive. Will def be back and order something else. The charcuterie and my wife’s scallops and risotto were excellent. The drinks were outstanding, 5 of 5. The service was also outstanding. The young woman who took cares of us did an excellent job. My only complaint about this place is that’s it TOO LOUD. Having loud music play while enjoying a meal just takes away from the dining. 2 thumbs down on loud music during dinner!

We had our wedding reception at Res, everything was absolutely amazing. The owner, Evan, and Caity, the event coordinator, were so accommodating. They helped us customize our menu to our liking, seating arrangements, and decor. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the space was, food was outstanding (the steak was to die for!), and the service was out of this world. They absolutely made our visions come to life and the day was so perfect, thanks to them!

First time dining in at Res american bistro. Great ambiance, delicious cocktail, very attentive server for our table, Justin, were our first impression of Res. We had Lobster Tempura, Lamb chops, Burrata salad, Flatbread as appetizer, and The grille’s filet as main dish. Our favorite dishes were lobster tempura and burrata salad with pistachio pesto. For the lamb chop, actually we liked roasted onion mostarda came out as a side better than the actual lamb. Chef Evan seems like talented and experimental on putting different cultural aspect together in each dish. We still have many other dishes we want to try here at Res, so definitely coming back. Event manager, Katie, was also very nice on explaining on details about event options at the 2nd floor when we had some questions. Highly recommend!

Bagel Gourmet Ole is a cozy cafe located in Providence, RI, known for its delicious bagels and friendly staff. Customers rave about the amazing breakfast options, particularly the tomato egg and cheese sandwich on a spinach bagel. The cream cheese selection is extensive and highly recommended. The authentic atmosphere adds to the experience, making it a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. In addition to their fantastic bagels, they also offer great prepared food options.
Their veggie breakfast burrito hasn’t changed at all in 12 years, and that’s a good thing. It’s weirdly hard to find a quality breakfast burrito these days, and BGO’s is fresh, not too heavy, and served with an amazing salsa.

Love this place, the bagels is always top notch. I love that there is plenty of options. The best part, is having your bagel neat! Nothing falls off / apart. Very neat and organized, my go to is cinnamon raisin bagel, sausage, bacon, egg, American cheese, avocado and jalapeños with jalapeño cream cheese and a side of small black coffee. Pricey but worth it, and supporting local is always a plus.

Very average bagel sandwich. Expensive for the quality and I don’t recommend the sausage. I would be interested in trying the Mexican food next time though

I always found myself grabbing breakfast from this place for almost four years. And in those 4 years, they never failed to meet my expectations for a good breakfast Sandwich. The staff were lovely to talk to, even going further beyond to remember my order as my "usual" whenever I went in. Little to no wait time between their orders. The breakfast sandwiches were never anything but amazing. A great hole in the wall spot to grab breakfast before work.
Andrez G — Google review
The smell and sounds were all so genuine and rich in culture. Their bagels had their familiar crusty bite but just melted in your mouth once you start chompin' I ordered the Cinnamon Raisin bagel with a Cinnamon Raisin cream cheese spread. And as redundant as that sounds I think the spread fell too short of the markup price just by taste alone. Equally, the bagel was grilles which is a welcomed method of toasting, however, it had the grills residual flavors of garlic, salt, and some other questionable flavors left unrecognizable due to the other sweet flavors. I finished the bagel and spread with a med hot chocolate of SwissMiss and whole milk. It wasn't too hot, so I was pleased I could drink it right away. Overall 5 stars but the rookie mistake of a not so clean grill set the flavor profile a star below.

I've been to this restaurant several times, and the food and drinks have always been excellent. Their prices are also very reasonable. Their service has been on point. They have a good variety of dishes to choose from. The only thing I didn't like had to deal with one of the servers not being friendly; I had that same server twice, and it was the same experience. I really wanted to give the cafe 5 stars because the food was amazing. My waitress was rude and not attentive at all. So many times I had to ask another worker for coffee refill, my check, take out container etc. She never once came to see how everything was or if we needed a refill. The water was giving to us with no ice not sure if that was normal but it wasn’t cold either. I seen everyone getting great service by my waitress besides my family. Next time if I go back Im asking for the girl with curly hair or the one with glasses they were so helpful and make me want to give the place a second chance since they seen my frustration. Overall the place was clean even the bathroom which is a plus!

Wow. I’ve been to Rhody Hen in Pawtucket twice in a row now and it’s still just as good. The Steak Tip Benedict is obnoxiously good, I can’t stop thinking about it. Everything was cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor. Coffee’s on point too. I’ve had both the cold brew and the regular iced coffee, both were great. It can definitely get busy, but honestly, it’s worth the wait every time. I’ve only been to the Pawtucket location so far, but yeah… I still can’t get over how good that dish was. T's Restaurant Cranston is a popular casual eatery offering classic American breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, and other cafe dishes. The restaurant tends to be busy, so arriving early is recommended. Probably our favorite breakfast place/diner style restaurant in Rhode Island. Lots of unique flavors and overall delicious food. Highly recommend all of their breakfast and their soups. We did the breakfast sandwich challenge and their maple kielbasa was insanely flavorful and the maple waffles fries blew us out of the park. Their home fries are always perfectly crisp too. We also love their iced coffee and love that they have non dairy options for the lactose intolerant crowd. A must try stop in little Rhody. Nice clean atmosphere, good service. Ive been to this location many times over the last 5 years since I live right up the road. It was always a place where you knew what you would get: good quality food and a nice clean establishment. While I will vouch the cleanliness is still up to expectation, the food has gone straight down the drain, I don't believe I will return. My last 3 experiences I have been served COLD dry food. French toast is just a piece of bread with powdered sugar, it was so cold the butter wouldn't even melt. I don't believe they cooked it for more than 30 seconds. My girlfriend had substituted her hash-browns for fruit, they gave her HALF of a strawberry, and maybe 3 small pieces of melon. I understand things are expensive and portions may be affected, but this was just downright not caring about your product. Cold eggs, cold sausage, everything on my plate was cold. This has happened my last 3 consecutive visits. If I were you, I would not bother coming anymore, until they decide to start caring again about their product. The value is just not there, at all. It's a shame, but luckily Athenas is right up the road also. My advice: have competent kitchen staff that take maybe a little pride in what they do. I'll give them one more chance, but it'll be awhile until i bring anyone here again.

Which is fine, but always a little annoying as we already paid for the voucher and now feel obligated to pay for something else on top of money we already spent. Which is, again, fine, but at least have your food be of quality. Truly this place was just awful from start to finish. This breakfast sandwich was basically inedible, covered in maple syrup all over the outside so you couldn’t lift it, the sausage in it was not breakfast sausage, it tasted like a weird hotdog with a really thick casing that you couldn’t even bite through… it was really really gross. And it came with sweet waffle fries which sounds great in theory but they were not. And then the waffle we ordered was completely burnt and had “maple butter” which was not good at all and wouldn’t melt, it was almost sour and had a gooey texture idk something about it was just off. Really disappointing and will not be going back. Idk why they decided to do Food Fights if they were going to make people feel weird about using the coupon and then also have yucky food and only allow you to pick that one item.

I used to love this place, but the food quality has been really going downhill the last several times I've ordered. Whoever they have in the kitchen needs to be re-trained. Overcooked eggs. Incorrect cheese, I requested cheddar and received a disgusting shredded american with a texture that makes me sick. Food thrown onto bun in a mess. I'm very disappointed, because this is usually my favorite breakfast place.

Best breakfast spot in the area. The dough babies will have you falling in love. Also gotta enjoy a yummy Irish coffee while you're there. Never had a dish I didn't like.

I ordered delivery at 7am. The food arrived at 8:30am. Cold! My driver was shown to be at the place for over 40 min waiting on the order . And I also paid $3 for a “fastest delivery 🙃”.

Delicious. Melt in your mouth. Loved the apple sausage omelet and the kids loved the kids breakfast and Mickey's pancakes. When we come back this will be the place we go. Home fries are crispy and yummy.

I had a fantastic experience here! The food was absolutely delicious, and the veggie smoothie was an absolute standout. It was so good that I'm already craving another one! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back for more🥰

Nestled in East Providence, the Black Duck Tavern is a delightful spot that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Known for its extensive Sunday brunch menu, this speakeasy-style tavern features a charming outdoor area adorned with a pergola and twinkling string lights, perfect for enjoying bottomless mimosas alongside craft cocktails. Just moments from the highway and conveniently located near a comedy club, it’s an ideal pre- or post-show destination.
Place is super cute and cozy. The food was Amazing! The service was good but very, very slow. Prices and food quality were worth the trip though! Got the breakfast smash burger, it was so delightful and the home fries were absolutely epic. Will definitely go back.

Fun, cozy bar spot with good food and good options for non-alcoholic IPAs. I've been here several times before and always loved the food. This time around I got the pulled pork nachos and my partner got a burger. Nachos were excellent! The restaurant is currently undergoing "menu renovations" so their food selections are limited at the moment. To the kitchen at Black Duck Tavern, bring back the chicken and waffles!

Delicious meal before heading to the comedy club next door. The restaurant is large and very welcoming. The drinks are expertly made (if you like spicy drinks, go for the “Some Like it Hot”), our waitress was attentive and the food was hot and delicious. We had to try the mozzarella sticks in the shape of ducks - gooey and stringy and the best crust! We both had sandwiches for dinner, and my burger was exceptional… juicy and tasty with an amazing fig spread. Leave room for dessert, the caramel/salt topped cheesecake is a winner 🌟 The restaurant is accessible. There is parking in the back and on the sides, as well as street parking.

This is a great restaurant located seconds off the highway. If you fancy your self a night out on the town, or if your catching a comedy show next door at the comedy connection, this restaurant is the perfect place before and after the show. They have a great looking place, the inside gives off a classy relaxing vibe. They have plenty of seating , and have a nice outside patio for the warmer weather. The staff are great and attentive. Drinks and good are slammin. I’ve never been here and been disappointed. So again if your looking for a great place to try.. the Black Duck is worth the trip.

So I made a reservation for the outdoor patio and was seated there and it looked really nice, I enjoyed the look and atmosphere of the restaurant. Unfortunately, me and my two brunch partners had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for our food. We arrived for a 2:15 brunch reservation and didn't receive the food till 3:30ish, left at 4:15. Two customers who arrived about 10 minutes after us actually received their food, ate, and left before we received ours and the waitress told us there was two big groups inside so our food was late. Watching everyone else get served waiting for my eggs, home fries, and bacon, I was very confused. Really sweet waitress though! $10 bottomless mimosas were nice!!
Victoria M — Google review
Great prices at brunch! We didn’t make a reservation but we were still able to be seated right away even though it was pretty full. It wasn’t my favorite breakfast but it is reasonably priced. So I was thrilled with everything. Would definitely come back for their bottomless mimosas promotion. Only $15 for as many as you want in the two hours.

The poor waitress seemed to be servicing all the tables with little help. Nonetheless, she was as attentive as she could be. Food was great! The mozzarella ducks were SO cute! I had the impossible smash burger with mushrooms and swiss and it was delicious! The West coast burger was also good. The coffee cake (not the name on menu) was amazing, light, and not too sweet.

Bolt Coffee has two unique locations, one on the first floor of a hotel and another at RISD Museum. The interior design of both places is impressive, and they also offer delicious donuts from KNEAD Doughnuts. Customers have praised their Lavender Thyme latte for its high quality and unique flavor. The cafeteria offers a variety of tasty options including avocado toasts and breakfast sandwiches that are described as restaurant-quality.
Neat. Excellent coffee in real ceramic mugs. Expresso served correctly, wow, haven't seen that in a long time. Glass of double expresso on a little tray, WITH a spoon AND a little glass of sparkling water WITH a lemon slice in it. Perfect. Hurrah finally expresso served correctly.

Donut shop
Breakfast restaurant
Cafe
KNEAD Doughnuts is a popular spot in Providence known for offering a variety of gourmet donuts and beverages in a spacious and inviting setting. The doughnuts are made using local ingredients like milk, eggs, fresh yeast, and real vanilla bean to ensure quality. With traditional cake doughnuts, dessert-inspired flavors, and seasonal options like cider and maple glazed, choosing just one can be challenging.
There seems to be a debate for the best donut shop in the area, and I can say it's Knead Doughnuts, hands down. I've been going to this location since they opened, and the quality has been consistent throughout the years. Yes, the donuts are a little pricey, but they're really big and really delicious. I haven't recieved a single dry donut from them. My all-time favorite is the raspberry fritter, which tastes like tart, fresh raspberries, and I really like old fashioned cake donuts with the hard glaze. I haven't tried the gluten free donuts, but the vegan ones are just as good as the regular ones. An honorable mention would be the jelly donut because the jelly tastes like fresh jam. If you are picky about donuts and like a hard glazed cake donut, or a fluffy yeast donut, they have both, and both are great. I do recommend going as early as possible to make sure you get the ones you want.
Sam — Google review
Super cute on the inside, great customer service- the employees were so kind and helpful. They did not have crounuts? when I went (on a weekday) but I did try their jelly donut and coffee cake donut. The raspberry jelly was good but it took many bites to get to the jelly, because it was so sweet and rich, it was overwhelming at the end and I couldn’t finish it. On the other hand, the coffee cake donut was delicious- award winning. Everything was super fresh and tasted delicious.
Ellianna T — Google review
Knead to try harder…mediocre donuts at epicurean prices. Purchased two donuts, an expired milk and a water for $15. Donuts were day olds…despite being there an hour after opening. Good flavor (blueberry lemon and strawberry shortcake) but super dry to the point we didn’t finish. They were nice an about the expired milk and then checked the whole case, but were nonverbal during the purchase. Clearly not morning people.
Andrew S — Google review
This is a really cute doughnut shop with a nice variety of fresh high quality donuts. We came on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t too busy and they had a great selection of donuts and pastries to choose from. The service was great too. We got a brown butter pecan donut and a mocha old fashioned donut. The brown butter pecan donut was one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. It was so big and fluffy and had so many little pecan pieces coating it. The mocha old fashioned was good too but the texture wasn’t quite as good and I didn’t taste much coffee flavor. This is a great a great spot with delicious donuts! We’ll be back for sure and will recommend it to friends!

I came in skeptical, and unfortunately, the donuts didn’t win me over. The chocolate frosted with sprinkles and vanilla glazed tasted basic - definitely not worth the premium price. The pecan was the best of the bunch, but overall, it felt overhyped. I’m a PV Donut guy.
Dan M — Google review
Came here looking for a good apple fritter and the apple fritter was good not the best it could be but still yummy. The vanilla glaze is a good choice as well but I hated the chocolate frosted. The donut was dry, the frosting seemed store bought and the sprinkles were not enjoyable. I also got a cinnamon roll donut and it look so promising but there was not cinnamon throughout it was just a plain donut with cinnamon glaze. It was also a bit pricy $6/donut is a bit steep considering the quality.
Avery T — Google review
Amazingly this place is never crowded on weekday mornings making it an excellent meeting or study spot. The cinnamon buns are unparalleled in my opinion, flakey, buttery with just the right amount of sweetness. No espresso drinks, but their coffee is solid.

Used to love the dark roast coffee...last 2 times definitely different. Less boldness, flavor. I was reassured by staff the proportions had not changed. Tried again, weak again. Back to Coffee Exchange. Always good, every time.
Claudia P — Google review
It’s really rare that I leave a negative review, but the expensive cake slices we had at L’Artisan yesterday were freezer-burned to the point where one was completely inedible. I went back to ask for a different slice, which is bad considering I seriously never send anything back. The two staff who were there were super nice about it, which I definitely appreciated. The pastry I traded for was better, but still tasted like a dirty freezer. I was especially bummed to know they were frozen at all. I assumed that for the price ($20 for 2 cake slices) they would be freshly made. I highly recommend you skip this place and go to Madrid Bakery instead.

I was very disappointed in the desserts I ordered from this bakery. Looking at all the photos I was hoping for something amazing. The desserts were delivered frozen solid and weren't in great shape. The food looks amazing on the pictures. Please don't decide not to eat here because of one experience. Everyone has bad days.

Excellent place to go grab a salad/snack/sandwich and a coffee. I've had the lattes and the cappuccinos, which were both 10 out of 10 stars. The food options are vast, and everything is SO fresh. As you can see from my picture, the patio area is a very nice spot to hang out during the day.

Enjoyed an iced cappuccino and a lemon poppy seed muffin. Greeted by a friendly staff and service was great. Enjoyed my breakfast on the patio. Ample seating indoors and outdoors. I'll definitely visit again and maybe try lunch next time.

I honestly thought the chai latte was atrocious. Sickeningly sweet and very watery. I couldn’t even eat the tiramisu, it had no coffee fragrance whatsoever. Ended up throwing everything out. Not sure how it’s rated so highly, maybe I took the wrong things. Also, everything came in a plastic container even though I sat there and not to go. The premises are nice, however. There is an outdoor seating area and the staff are friendly. I’ll give them that. Otherwise, I truly wish I saved my 12$ for something else.

The preping area for the drinks was dirty with splashes of other drinks all over the place. The only reason why I came to strash bucks for the 3rd time in my life with the same experieexperience is because my daughter is hospitalized kn hasbro and she was craving this. Super packed the day that I went, but somehow it was the calmest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. This location seems perfectly staffed, and I love that the baristas don’t yell out names while people are studying. The warm moody lighting makes it a perfect addition to campus. Cutest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Also!! Every time I see the lavender matcha it’s always gray and ugly and the cold foam ends up as a really thin layer. But at this location it was vibrant and had the perfect consistency! I love when baristas love to make drinks and do their best to make it work. With this particular drink it’s not realistic to expect this outcome every time, but I really appreciate the innovative approach that went into making the presentation as good as possible 🪻🍵

I am not a student at JWU, but I pick my husband up from work nearby, and this is a good place to kill time if necessary. I am always impressed by the friendliness, efficiency and proficiency of the staff; in fact, I have found that these students are better trained (and more polite) than at most regular Starbucks locations. Gets busy sometimes (I am guessing right before or after classes) but in between the rushes, it is actually pretty quiet, and it is usually filled with kids studying.

Even when it's busy there's never too long of a wait, if you go there past dinner time though expect them to not have any pastries available Edit: After a month I can say that there is a huge wait around 11, if you have classes then plan at least 15 minutes if you really need it If you like sweet things but don't know what to order I like getting an iced white chocolate mocha with a couple liquid sugars and whipped cream (yes I know how unhealthy that sounds)

They took two hours to deliver my food and he handed me a bag of utensils and an apple juice. I spent 50$ for a plastic fork, ketchup, a syrup packet, and juice. And then no one responded to help me or fix the issue. Update: Just heard from the delivery driver who said the restaurant was out of stock. I ordered an omelette, so they apparently have no eggs or cheese. No one contacted me to cancel or refund. The restaurant won’t answer the phone, after dozens of calls. Absolutely unacceptable service all around.
Chelsea A — Google review
TLDR: The late night menu is 50% more expensive and they don't offer the standard menu until 7:00. We arrived at 5:40 and our orders were not taken until 6:10 am. That alone isn't a major issue but the menu we got was the late night menu, which understandably offers a limited menu from 10pm - 6am. Because we sat for longer than expected, we asked if we could have the full menus but they said they don't pull out the normal menus till 7:00 am, despite it being printed on the menu that it begins at 6:00 a.m. so we were stuck with ordering off the limited menu at prices that were 50% higher than standard. Our waitress was great but seems like they could use some standardization on the process.

Providence Bagel is a charming local gem that’s easy to access and offers plenty of parking. While the ambiance could use a little love, with some worn cushions and floors needing attention, the cozy vibe makes it inviting. The real highlight here is the exceptional service; each visit brings friendly staff who are eager to help. Their extensive menu features mouthwatering breakfast sandwiches and bagels that are sure to please any palate.
Providence Bagels is a nice little local spot with ample parking and an easy-to-find location. My first impression wasn’t the best, as the place could use some serious TLC—the cushions are run down, and the floors need attention. While the atmosphere is cozy, the facilities could definitely be spruced up. That said, the service was fantastic. I visited two days in a row, and both times the staff was attentive and friendly. The menu is extensive, offering delicious breakfast sandwiches and bagels. The smoothies are absolutely to die for, and the coffee is pretty decent too. Despite the need for some updates to the space, the great food and excellent service more than made up for it. I’ll probably be back again tomorrow, and I’d still recommend giving this spot a try if you’re in the area. A little TLC could make it even better!

Amateur Bagels. Under risen usually. Muddy, heavy. Clearly no one making the dough, rising dough or baking has enough experience. Even frozen bagels from Queens or Brooklyn are better than this.
Jack S — Google review
I'm really picky about bagels since getting bagels in NY, and this is the only bagel place I go to in RI. I prefer this location over the other one as well. There hasn't been a bagel or cream cheese flavor I haven't liked. My go to's are poppy seed, pumpernickel, and if they have it, honey wheat Sunflower seed. I used to get vegan spread and avocado, but now I get the bacon scallion cream cheese. I recently tried the garden veggie cream cheese, which was recommended to me and was really good. The staff is always friendly and efficient, even though it's often packed inside. I also recommend the caramel iced latte.
Sam — Google review
I ordered bagels online from this place, and was extremely disappointed upon their arrival. Today, I ordered 6 bagels, as well as a container of plain cream cheese. 2 of the bagels never made it into the bag, and their cream cheese tastes sour, almost rancid. The bagels were all supposed to be sliced and toasted, but they couldn't even do that right. They WERE sliced, however very unevenly, and none of them toasted. The last time, about a week ago, I asked for 2 bagels with cream cheese ON THE SIDE so I would be able to save them for another day, but that request was completely ignored. Instead of being able to toast up a bagel, all fresh and warm, I had soggy bagels waiting for me in the fridge. This may not be a big deal to a lot of people, but it still goes to show that there is a lack of effort and attention to detail. It was a very simple request, and it was not honored. On top of all of this, their bagels are extremely dense and taste a day old. Overall: Bad bagels. Bad cream cheese. Bad service. GET YOUR BAGELS ELSEWHERE.
Sophia A — Google review
I absolutely love Providence Bagel! The bagels are always fresh, chewy, and full of flavor — exactly what a bagel should be. They have such a great variety, and the cream cheese and sandwich options make it easy to find something new every time I go. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is casual but inviting perfect whether I’m grabbing breakfast on the go or sitting down with a coffee. Service is quick, and I really appreciate that they put care into both the food and the customer experience. Providence Bagel is definitely my go-to spot for breakfast or lunch.
Rachael B — Google review
This has to be one of the worst, if not the worst drive-thru in Providence. The staff is great and the food is good, but the drive-thru itself is unbelievably slow and inefficient. It regularly takes several minutes longer than it should, even with only one or two cars ahead. I sent an email about this before, but it was never acknowledged or replied to. That time it took around 15–20 minutes from ordering to driving away, and today, with an almost empty drive-thru, it still took over 10 minutes just to get a simple bagel sandwich. They really need to step their game up

Started our morning at Rebelle Artisan Bagels in Cambridge and it was a wonderful experience. The sesame seed bagel with cheese and egg was absolutely delicious, perfectly paired with a strong brute coffee. It was the perfect breakfast to enjoy on our trip from Dubai to Boston, and we truly loved every bite. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fresh and tasty start to the day!

This Rebelle Can Yell Hidden away on Third Street in Cambridge, Rebelle Artisan Bagels is back in Cambridge! Lots of bagel shops options, but this is a nice find in the area. Customize your own bagel, from plain, everything, sesame, and the like…to choosing your own spread, to the à la cart toppings. My favorite go-to’s include lox (house-cured or smoked nova) and smoked whitefish salad. A healthy serving at 2 ounces per scoop, these creations are a mouthful- no one said eating a bagel had to be clean! – make sure you’ve got plenty of napkins on hand. Every bite is satisfying, enough to make me a repeat customer. Love that it’s close to work and I can pop in at a moments notice. Friendly staff, clean environment, wifi, seating inside and out, and really cool merch on site. Worth a visit!

I love this place, it’s my favorite bagel shop in Boston. I used to go here for breakfast everyday and still would if it were still convenient for work. Now I go as frequent as possible, which is sadly only once a week. The bagels are so yummy and fresh. They have a good variety of bagel and cream cheese options so you can switch it up or find your favorite combination. They have a daily bagel which is so fun, my personal favorite is the cheddar jalapeño bagel available Monday and Friday with chive cream cheese. Their coffee is also strong and very hot, which is a plus. I’ve tried their cold brew today which is also pretty good. If you bring your own cup they’ll even give you a cookie! Their baked goods are always great and have a rotation of options (sometimes even seasonal!), my favorite are the homemade pop tarts. While the food is fantastic, the staff has always been my favorite experience here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and is the driving factor that brings me back each week. They greet you with a smile and remember your name, and bring a neighborhood, community driven vibe to the area. Please check out and support Rebelle for A1 service and bagels!

Happen to be in the area and popped in for a bagel. The pumpernickel bagel itself was fantastic. The deviled egg salad was overall good but heavier on the chives. Wish you could buy the little sugar cookies! Didn't get to try their drinks but would stop by again for their coffee and to try another type of breakfast bagel.
Ana V — Google review
I come here often for the bagels and the drinks. I came to Rebelle even when I lived in Rhode Island so I was really happy when I moved up here to still have it. I love that they offer a BYOC (bring your own cup) option. I have a few of their cups and I like that I can reuse. I came today because they announced on their IG a new summer drink, blueberry basil lemonade, so I had to stop by and grab an egg bagel while I was at it. Not a lot of places in Boston do an egg bagel and it’s always been one of my favorites. I got it with the honey fleur de sel cream cheese. If you’re looking for a good bev and bagel situation, stop by. They have some seating, and WiFi so you could sit down for a bit and work while you eat.
Alicia M — Google review
This place is incredible and a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. I live within walking distance and stop by 2-3 times per week. All of the cream cheese spreads are terrific...the Mexican corn and chive flavors are my absolute favorites, and the pickles and pickled vegetables are some of the best I've ever had anywhere! The cheddar jalapeno bagels are quite unique and tasty, and the egg bagels are delicious! To top things off the blueberry pop tarts and oatmeal cookies are awesome. I've been officially spoiled by this place, and I strongly recommend that you visit as often as possible--you will not be sorry!
Zaven K — Google review
When bagel shops first open in Boston and Cambridge, they usually attract a lot of hype. Even mediocre spots like Brooklyn Bagel Factory had long lines when they first opened. However, during my past few visits to Rebelle, I didn’t see any lines. This Providence transplant hasn’t gained a good reputation among the locals, and the owner's unpopularity on social media and online forums seemed to be the biggest factor. At Rebelle, owner Milena is strict about how to enjoy her bagels—R&D only, no toasting. She's quite adamant about preserving the air pockets in her freshly-baked bagels, which theoretically gives them a better texture and density. While I respect her dedication to bagel perfection, I have to admit, I prefer to enjoy them in sandwich form for convenience. Sometimes, you just need a bagel that’s more grab-and-go. During my past few visits, I usually arrived around opening time, and there was always a limited selection of bagels—typically just 3-4 options, with flavors varying by the day. Some of my favorite sandwiches and combos included the pretzel bagel with Honey Fleur de Sel cream cheese, the Lox sandwich, and the BLT Squared sandwich. The bagels here are on the smaller side, but they still have a satisfying chewiness and density. However, because of their size, one sandwich usually isn’t enough to fill me up, which makes me question if it’s worth the price. Really hoped that Rebelle would become my reliable go-to spot for bagel sandwiches in Cambridge. Their sandwiches are good, but perhaps not the best value. Might return to try their smoked fish sandwiches, but for now, I’ll likely look elsewhere to satisfy my bagel cravings.

"The Corporate Cafe" is a downtown gem that offers delicious food and excellent service. The clean and organized space welcomes visitors with friendly smiles, creating a pleasant dining experience. Customers rave about the mouthwatering roast beef sandwich and other delectable offerings like shepherd's pie and lasagna. The staff, including Jeanie and Brian, are praised for their warmth and hospitality, making patrons feel right at home.
Have visited multiple times and am always very impressed with the food and service. Celeste is fabulous! We had a large last minute rush order and they were able to get me out the door very quickly.

I love this place! The service is pretty quick. They have a large selection of breakfast items. Their lunch selection is great as well. They also cater for things like office lunch meetings. A couple of my favorite breakfast foods are a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese on the side or the large yogurt with granola and fresh blueberries. For a light lunch, I love their Italian Wedding soup.
Evyon S — Google review
The staff are pleasant in the actual cafe, but that's about it ! Food is poorly cooked with a limited menu. Coffee was luke warm, Restrooms are down the corridor and can only be accessed by obtaining the key from the reluctant security guard with an attitude and indignation that you dare ask to use their restrooms !! This cafe serves the building it's affiliated with, otherwise, I feel there are better options elsewhere!

Hi there, I’ve been a loyal customer for years and always enjoyed ordering my usual sandwich on a bulky (or torpedo) roll. Since the new ownership, I’ve noticed you’re often “out” of rolls, and now phone orders aren’t being taken. I understand you’re trying to move toward online ordering, but it’s frustrating that we can’t select bread options or speak to someone directly. I really hope you’ll consider bringing back the flexibility and friendly service that made your deli special. Many of us longtime customers would love to keep supporting you, but these changes make it hard to stay loyal.

I went downtown for a meeting, for lunch I was looking for a decent place to have lunch, and I ran into this place. Everyone smiles when you walk in, and the place is clean and organized. I had the Roast beef sandwich, and it was delicious. I look forward to my next meeting in Providence to revisit this place.

Very kind people. Beautiful faces. Talk to them. Ask them to make something for you. Ask them to surprise you. I talked to the people who made my food and I could tell they cared. I’m sure whatever you’ll get won’t disappoint you. Thank you for leaving me with a good memory of RI.

Starbucks is a renowned coffeehouse chain originating from Seattle, offering its distinctive roasts and light snacks alongside WiFi access. The establishment prioritizes excellent customer service, ensuring a pleasant experience for visitors. While some locations may experience high foot traffic at various times, the accessibility of amenities such as public restrooms and wheelchair entrances is considered. However, it's important to note that certain branches may have limited accessibility for individuals with mobility challenges due to entryway configurations.
Good customer service is important, and that is what I got on Monday before noon. Judging from the attendance chart on the maps app I used, this place is usually busy at different times. This offered me the chance to see what other products I would be interested in besides a half blonde-, half dark-roast coffee. Public bathroom is accessible, and the wheelchair entrance is through a separate entrance.

Depending on the time of the day you visited, the staff is not as friendly at this Starbucks location. You have to ask for a bag, mess up your order, and restroom not open to the public per staff. Sticky floors. The norm …. Time of the day staff issues gives poor services. The positive on a busy street and their Pumpkin loaf.
Patrice F — Google review
Ordered a sweet cream cold brew with oatmilk and extra sweet cream foam. They gave me a regular cold foam and when I said it was supposed to have oat milk they just gave me a cup of oat milk to put in myself. IF YOU WANNA BE CHARGED TO MAKE YOUR OWN DRINK THEN GO HERE. My brother got a hot matcha latte and they made it iced too. Also didnt know how to use the register…

my god this is the worst starbucks, see the photo for the amount of the beverage they give. Ridiculous! And they said yes you just give this if you don’t want ice. I don’t understand, the easiest way you can do is add some water because ice is water, I just don’t want get frozen! Is that hard?! Trash service

I usually stop into this Starbucks location after dropping my kid off to Kennedy plaza to take the bus. Typically I'm in and out within 5 minutes. I usually am still in my pajamas or workout clothes but I sat in there and waited about 20 minutes today, that is not what I expected 😐. This morning at 7:30 am the staff of two seemed overwhelmed. It definitely affected the kind of service they would usually be able to provide.

Poindexter Coffee is a unique and beautiful cafe located in the Graduate Hotel, serving up traditional cafe drinks like coffee and tea as well as tons of delicious grab-and-go meals. The interior is minimalistic yet colorful and incorporates unique textures that only add to its beauty.
I had an amazing experience at this cafe! The French toast sticks were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, perfectly soft inside. A huge shoutout to Charles for their incredible cooking skills. The service was also top-notch, with Miguel and Jasmine at the front of house making me feel so welcome and cared for. Highly recommend this spot for great food and friendly service!

Overpriced coffee is now our new standard. But for something that price it should be great. Located inside the Graduate hotel. Book worm feel. Quiet. The hummus pack was actually pretty refreshing. However I have had better coffee milk in the city.

Nice coffee shop in the hotel room. Cortado sure beats drip coffee but not the best in the city. I did enjoy the BEC sandwich. I did enjoy the ambiance!

This is one of the more spacious cafes I've come across in Providence. It has comfy seating, good music, and Stephen who works at the register is so friendly and helpful when you can't decide what to order. My favorite is the avocado toast and my boyfriend loves the sausage egg and cheese on brioche.

Stayed at the graduate hotel in a suite and and went down to get my free coffee with the token the front desk gives you at checkin. Went to order a sandwich and was told “I can’t make you any sandwiches” it’s just coffee. Was disappointed they only had muffins and some danishes. No bagels or fruit. Pretty minimal setup. And the free coffee is self serve drip coffee over by a separate area. The coffee was piping hot and pretty good so maybe that make up for the lack of food options.

This quaint little breakfast/lunch spot served up some of the best eggs benedict I've ever had! The staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is quickly delivered to your table. They also have a few fun specialty coffee choices which was great. The place can get a bit crowded, so be prepared to wait for a table.
Ordered a Mediterranean omelette (came with toast and home fries underneath) accompanied by a Capricorn Concoction smoothie. Both were delicious. This was a great brunch and reading spot to spend a weekend midday watching Wickenden as it snowed. Service was lovely and I will definitely be returning.

Caspian b&l is a small restaurant on the corner. Just what you would hope from a local b&l, Caspian has a small staff with big hearts and excellent service. The prices are totally reasonable and the food is excellent. My wife and I love good, crispy homefries and Caspian makes them well. Stop in for a quiet meal or take a breakfast sandwich to go. The coffee is standard fare, but they splash in flavors in perfect ratio to make your drink taste special. I'll be back again for sure.

Very cute diner. I went here with my girlfriend on a mini vacation and we both got different types of their eggs Benedict. The wait staff was a smidge slow. But he apologized for it and made sure to come by, and let us know he was doing his best to come around again. The food was flavourful and their Chai and hot chocolate were as well! The bathroom was very small and dirty. But that was one of the only few downsides. Prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly.

Starbucks is a renowned coffeehouse chain originating from Seattle, offering its distinctive roasts, light snacks, and WiFi access. The Biltmore location provides a tranquil atmosphere with minimal crowding. However, some customers have noted that the menu display may be distant and faded. While previous reviews mentioned feeling rushed during ordering, recent updates indicate positive changes in staff behavior and improved ambiance. Customers praise specific employees for their exceptional service and ability to establish strong connections with patrons.
So made an early stop at Starbucks near Brown University this morning... I think it was CJ, who opened the door where I was their first customer.... The locale has been renovated to better serve it's change in customer traffic, with a massive increase coming from online and app driven orders... A little different seating arrangement from the past, but still the same atmosphere and staff interaction. Nice Job.
David I — Google review
Standard Starbucks. The only issue I have is the prioritizing of the drive-thru. It took 20 min for our mobile order to be made upon arrival. That was after placing the order before leaving. Walking 5 min. And going inside and waiting for 15 min. We finally had to ask and our order was on the screen but was being overlooked for the cars. 5 min later we left coffee in hand. That pattern has persisted. Now we order sooner before leaving the house or do the drive-thru if in a rush.

I go to this Starbucks location every day - sometimes twice! Super friendly staff-they go the extra mile to learn who you are as a person not just a drink! Staff led by an amazing manager Laurie and newly promoted (much deserved!) assistant manager Brian that also go above and beyond to make your customer experience super memorable! Highly Recommend 100 Gold Stars!! Warm regards, “No Name”
Tinamarie G — Google review
I placed an order through the app and got in line at the drive thru at the time the app said it would be ready. It wasn’t and that was no big deal. When I got to the window they asked to see the order since they couldn’t find it. I showed them, and then I was told it would be just a few minutes (for a snack box and 2 pastries) still no big deal. After a minute, the same person came back and asked could they see the receipt details. I showed them that, they left and I could see them discussing it with a manager. The manager comes to the window and begins speaking down to me like a toddler, “Aww did you place the order a minute ago? is that why we cant see it?” I tell her no, and she continues speaking in a child like voice “ well next time, so you know, we need about four minutes after you place your order to receive it.” First of all, it’s already been 5 minutes since I entered the drive thru and with all the back and forth. Secondly, I am a middle aged woman- do not speak to me like I am a child. I tell her again that it’s been at least 10 minutes since I placed my order, and this fool goes “OH REALLY?” I point to the time stamp on the receipt of 2:33pm and she leaves the window without saying anything or apologizing for HER mistake. She starts chatting and laughing with another employee, comes back and tells me that I will have to pull around into drive thru again because they need more time to pull 3 premade snacks together. Racist, repugnant, disgusting, dishonest behavior.
M — Google review
Love this location! I have been following the Manager Laurie since she was at the Biltmore hotel downtown. She left RI but then came back. Now she is near my new job. Her team is fabulous but in particular her recent hire Marcus is the epitome of Starbucks. When Laurie retires he should be promoted to manager! His energy is infectious. He makes my day brighter.
Chalonda J — Google review
The staff here are always friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciate—they always greet customers with a “hi” or “good morning.” However, I think this location could improve the way drinks are made. I usually order a matcha frappuccino through the mobile app with specific requests for sweetness and strength, but it’s rare that I actually receive it as ordered. Sometimes the flavor is off, or the drink is so bland that I end up adding syrup myself. I never complain in person because I don’t want to be late for work, especially since this branch is always busy in the mornings. I make sure to allow extra time, but my drink often isn’t ready at the pickup time shown in the app. A few times, I’ve even seen a barista skip my drink and prepare simpler orders first, which is frustrating. As a regular customer, I really hope to see more consistency and improvement in the way drinks are made, so that the service matches the friendliness of the staff.

This has got to be the worst starbucks that i havw ever been to in my entire life. I try to give them a shot almost every sunday after i grocery shop. Every time my coffee is made wrong or tastes like just milk. I have been trying to give them a chance for a year now and every time it is the worst coffee. A bad coffee just ruins your day. I stopped going here for a few months and just came back to try again this morning and what do you know, cinnamon milk. I just always order a brown sugar shaken espresso. So disappointing.

Employee read back my order in drive through however didn’t receive two items. As soon as I brought it in and mentioned it to another one, she turned around and said she did not charge me for the items. I stated “I don’t know why”. Her and another woman proceeded to talk shit, be disrespectful, to the point when I went to walk out, the young girl was acting like she was going to fight me screaming from behind the counter. Of course when I said, are you going to come out side and do something? She acted like someone was holding her back Tons of customers in the building witnessing this. This is my local Dunkin so I went through drive through the next day, once again the order was wrong by the same person. Although she wasn’t at the drive through window, when I pulled off she started swearing and screaming. Reporting to Dunkin and better business bureau and I WILL BE GOING BACK.

Cafe La France is a great place to get coffee or tea in Providence. The menu features everything from sweet to savory and the cafe has a classic French touch. The staff is slow on the service side, but there are many snacks and beverages to choose from if you're in a hurry.
I’ve been coming here for at least 30 years. It’s the same person managing it as it was back then. Great food and they know what they’re doing. It’s at a train station but it’s great sandwich stop if you’re in the area and need something quick.

The cafe’s pretty great for a train station option. They’ve tried to keep a good decor, the menu is good (way better than a train station cafe can be expected to have) and the prices reasonable.
