The 50 best breakfast and brunch in Pasadena

I’ve had their “Tommy Salame” before. It was adequately sized and normally priced for the quality you’re getting. This time I got the “Chicken Parm Sando.” I would say it was truly overpriced for the quantity you are getting. $21 for a small 6 inch sub makes no sense even if all the ingredients maybe organic or better quality. I would have priced that at $16 maximum because I know their overhead costs may be on the higher end. I just was expecting a bigger and more filling sandwich for that hefty price tag. Overall, it tasted great and homemade which I appreciate. However, it was a bit too acidic per my preference leaving me with some heartburn. I also got the $4 “Rye Brownie.” It had a more dark chocolate flavor and the texture was more wet like fudge rather than pillowy softness. I also experienced some heartburn from that. I wanted to purchase a tiny box of a single serving chocolate covered honeycomb but it was priced at $20. I mean online the “Honeymoon” brand sells it $12.50 each. I just found everything on their shelves from chocolates to jams priced double or triple what you would pay for elsewhere all to appease their rent and salaries. I really like their dedication to quality and freshness. And it’s truly an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. They just need to work on adequately pricing their food and products according to the market.

Food: I’ll mention my three favorites here to keep it shortened. I enjoyed the spinach and leek dip very much, the chips were delicious - crunchy, light, and airy with great flavor from whatever oil they fried it in. The dip I loved, the cheese flavor was strong and it was easy enough to get onto a chip. I liked the potato dumplings (gnocchi not dumplings) the sauce was very creamy, and Parmesan, and the bits of broccoli added a nice soft texture. I loved the crunchy pieces of bacon on top. The lettuces salad was also great, crisp, fresh greens meet with sweet dates, sweet dressing, and sliced almonds to make a delicious salad. Service: We had a reservation for 7:30, but we were seated at 7:45 instead, and the hostess was on the phone talking to another customer for about 10 minutes. Why have reservations if they can’t be on time? Our server was nice though and the food came out fast. Atmosphere: I liked how it was part store, part restaurant. The cheese displayed in the front made for a welcoming entrance. The left half had tables which made it look like a restaurant, while the other had wine for display and other items, making it like a store. Overall: Really delicious food and cute vibe, the service just fell a little short for me.

We had a wonderful brunch experience at Agnes! The cheese board was definitely the highlight, offering a great selection of cheeses with enough variety to keep things interesting and never repetitive. It felt like the perfect way to start the meal. Since it was brunch, we also ordered toast and salad. The crème brûlée toast stood out it was sweet, indulgent, and quite filling, almost like having dessert for breakfast. On the lighter side, the Babé Farms Lettuces salad was beautifully done, with fresh mixed greens paired with Aries cheese, smoked almonds, and dates, all tied together with a mustard shallot vinaigrette. The combination of crunchy nuts and sweet dates made it both refreshing and satisfying. The atmosphere of the restaurant is another big plus. With exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and a spacious patio, it feels open and stylish, yet still comfortable and welcoming. The way the dining room, bar, and market space flow together makes it feel unique and versatile. I also appreciated how extensive the menu is there are options for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, which makes it a place you could easily visit again and again for different occasions. On top of that, the drink selection is varied enough to complement any meal. Overall, Agnes is a spot that delivers not only on flavor but also on ambiance and versatility.

I’ve never met Agnes… but she’s got style. This place is such an interesting blend of modern ambiance and interior design. Natural light, brick walls, a crackling fire. And amazing cheese and wine of course. My friend and I were the only two in there and I bet it’s quite the spot in the evening. I’ll be coming back.

Wonderfully indulgent food. Atmosphere isnt as cozy as we had hoped (back patio was closed) but the staff was so kind and thoughtful on our anniversary (giving us a free champagne toast) and the food was so yummy. We weren't drinking beyond the champagne but the meal was 10/10 for cheese lovers.

Three of us took a friend for her 30th birthday based on a recommendation. However, it didn't live up to the hype. We went on Saturday night, 7:30 p.m. reservation. We got seated about 10 minutes after our reservation time which was expected. A server offered to take our drink order within a few minutes. Then another one went up to our table for the same purpose only a few minutes after the original order. With one vegetarian in the group, we attempted to order a mix of entrees that offered something for everyone. The Cheese Board was too small for four hungry women who had just gotten massages. The Crispy Tater Tots tasted just like any other, minus the crispy. The Beets and Pears was meh. The Grilled Cauliflower wasn't available but they made it with broccolini and that was okay. Unfortunately, there weren't any distinguishing seasonings or flavors that stood out. The carnivores ordered the fried chicken and skirt steak. They said it was good. We each one cocktail which didn't wow anyone. While we asked the server for her assessment on whether she thought we had ordered enough and she said it was a lot of food. It wasn't given the family-style service and small portions. There was a long delay between each order, including our drinks. We found ourselves done in between orders as we looked toward the kitchen area hoping to see a server with one of our orders. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we asked to see the dessert menu which was very unimpressive (root beer float, some kind of bread pudding, sorbet and some chocolate taco). We assumed that they would bring some kind of dessert for the birthday girl but no such luck. She did, however, get a birthday card as soon as she sat down. I would recommend this if one wants a light meal with loud ambiance in a restaurant-deli ambiance. I will not be returning for a light meal nor a dinner as the food and service were nothing spectacular, especially for a tab of $326.72.

From the beautiful patio space and thoughtful color schemes, to the friendly wait staff, I thoroughly enjoyed my evening out at Agnes. The s'mores taco was chef's kiss! What a lovely place for a quaint dinner with a friend in Old Pasadena. Thanks!!

I love Russell’s. I’ve been here a few times now with friends and family. It’s a cozy and intimate diner feeling restaurant. There is always a wait because it’s just that good. I always get the waffles and breakfast plate with the hash browns. A simple and delicious breakfast and one that I crave. 🫶🏻

My SO said he loved everything about it. We were there for breakfast on a Sunday. We were told an hour wait. Our wait was less probably 30-45 minutes. The restaurant was packed and a little noisy. There is only one restaurant for women. However the diner is not that big. We had the waffle breakfast and the French toast breakfast. I would order either one again. You get eggs and the meat of your choice. Hash browns and drinks are separate.

Comfort breakfast food, surrounded by good art, classical music made for a great experience. I had the breakfast burrito and it came out hot, the ingredients were super high quality. Service was very friendly and my coffee never emptied. Everything was just perfect, we'll be back tomorrow.

We went mid-morning and there was still a wait, but, oh, my goodness, was it worth it! In the 70's, I lived in Pasadena within walking distance to Russell's, but we only discovered it now, 50 years later! I love the deep red walls, the reproduction of famous paintings, and the classical music. The restaurant is divided into excellent seating arrangements, including a counter. We enjoyed great food and great service.

Love this place the atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff was genuinely friendly, and the waffle we got with out meal was perfectly crispy, and hit the spot ! The other items (eggs bacon hashbrowns) were ok not spectacular but definitely not bad either we’ll skip the muffin addition next time, and just to clarify if you request just a glass of water it’s tap …don’t drink LA tap… order water or skip water all together. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious!

Was recommended this place from a local. Arrived at the restaurant shortly after 7:15am. We were warmly greeted and taken to our seats quickly. Coffee was fresh and was given enough time to make a decision to order. I ordered the ulitmate breakfast burrito with extra crispy hashbrowns (nailed it) and my friend ordered fresh toast. Both meals were done to perfection.

Delicious food and excellent service. Perfect place for family or friends. The steady bustle of the kitchen and rich ambiance is very inviting. I'll definitely be back again!

Enjoyed the patio seating in the morning, was more calm and quiet having seen how crowded it was inside. I enjoyed my omelette very much. I did try a bite of the pulled pork eggs Benedict, not much flavor there. They do have their own parking lot, but it’s very small. There is some street parking available. Wasn’t aware of the 3% surcharge for using a credit card.

Definitely one of the most popular breakfast restaurants in all of Pasadena. It’s very laid-back and you feel as if you are eating inside someone’s home. The wait times are never as long here as some other restaurants close by but also it’s not the best option in town. Russell‘s, a few blocks away, is the best breakfast in Pasadena in my opinion, but Marston’s is still worth visiting. They have an extremely tiny and narrow parking lot with free parking otherwise it will be street parking. They have a fairly large menu filled with a lot of good options and our server was very polite. Inside is not very large and just has table seating, there is not a counter. The food here is good, but not great. For my first visit I chose the special - Crab Cake Benedict and thought it was just OK. The crabcakes did not have as much flavor as I had recently and I really did not enjoy the side of potatoes. I would suggest offering hashbrowns instead. I also felt it was a bit overpriced for what we got in return and honestly I don’t think I would visit again given the other breakfast options close by.

I went for brunch with my husband and three children aged 7, 4, and 1. The restaurant atmosphere was very nice, and we ate outside on the patio -- they quickly moved tables around to accommodate us outside as we requested. The food was average and the coffee below average, and I was unpleasantly surprised by the cost. It was nearly $80 US for middling diner fare -- very overpriced! But a nice place if money is no object.

Great breakfast menu selection. I had a Denver omelet that was exceptional. I would recommend Marston's as a need to go place. I'm planning on trying the Huevos Rancheros next time. Lots of the other patron were talking about their French toast options, need to try that too. Definitely recommend a visit to Marston's

A fantastic breakfast/brunch option in a cozy setting. The food was delicious and well prepared. Staff are very nice and welcoming. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu consists of all of the classic breakfast options. Overall a great and filling experience.

Lovely little hidden gem for breakfast dishes. The French toast is one of the best I’ve ever had. An absolute must-try. Update: recently visited the restaurant for Sunday brunch and decided to try some non-breakfast items. We had the regular burger, the crispy chicken sandwich, and the rio grande tuna melt. They were all great. We all especially liked the refreshing side Jicama salad. I highly recommend adding the caramelized onions and chipotle peppers to the tuna melt. I have to mention, the service was very slow. Servers were helpful and nice, just a little slow. We had to wait quite a while even though there weren’t many customers at the restaurant.

This place serves classic American food, best known for their breakfast and lunch. Their French toast is quite famous. The menu has not changed much in the last few years . My California omelette was delicious but came out really oily. The potatoes were also oily and were not evenly cooked. So sad about the quality of the food today.

My husband and I found this amazing place today near our house, its food is delicious, prepared at the moment and the flavor is genuine, the prices are very acceptable and the atmosphere is unique, for breakfast, lunch or something in the afternoon, it surely became our favorite place

The food here is lovely and the service is top notch. I stopped by on the way to work and ordered a khachapuri with soujouk and a spicy cheese roll to go. The patio was lovely, so I ended up starting my breakfast here before leaving and the purveyor came out with hot sauce and napkins after seeing me through the front windows. They are very attentive and informative when I asked questions. The bread is out of this world and the serving sizes are on the larger side. Great stop for a quick on the go breakfast or larger savory orders. Inside is clean and the patio has shade covers.

I’m in Pasadena for the first time for a conference and I’m always tired, BUT a friend and made an effort to wake up early and walk almost 3 miles to Old Sassoon for breakfast. BEST. IDEA. EVER. Amazing bakery and super lovely people. If you are ever in the area for a conference, vacation, or any reason: make this a stop! I got the Khachapuri with extra veggies, a coffee, and a lovely pistachio baklava. YUMMMMMM!

Great place! Very clean and nice ambiance, friendly and patient staff, delicious fulfilling and affordable food. We two had the khachapuri with soujouk (soft bread loaded with cheese and a runny egg), a shableh (cream filling, must try!), a pistachio baklava, a sahlab (thick milkshake). Will go again to try others.

Absolutely delicious Armenian food! So savory and good! The bread on the Turnovers Beorags are AMAZING! So soft, tasty and savory. We got ham and cheese, mushroom and an olive one. Highly recommended to stop in. The prices are cheap and the food is SO good! We ate outside in the sun🌞

Originally opened in 1961, this spot is most famous for their breakfast burritos and burgers. They specialize in quick, casual, large sized to-go orders, however, there is an area where you can eat inside at one of their many booths. I have been here a few times and every time, even if there is a line, I never have to wait long for my order. There is a large free parking lot attached so parking is really easy and plentiful. They have a very large menu with all sorts of different options on it, but for this most recent visit, I got the Double Cheeseburger with avocado and loved it. The patties are really well seasoned, and they threw a ton of avocado on it which I loved. It’s just a really great comfort food option and really hits the spot when you’re in that mood. I also ordered a bowl of their Chili, and really liked it. It’s one of the better versions in the area and I would recommend if you are a fan.

Super yummy little spot! I think this is an old, iconic location in Pasadena. It's a burger stop, but they have a wide range of sandwiches as well as burritos and a couple other assorted items. It has a diner sort of feel to it, with both inside and outside seating. I went with my family and we each had something different and then shared zucchini and regular fries. Great flavors, everything came out fast and service was friendly! Prices are very reasonable and if anything the portion sizes are rather large. Most of us took half of the food to-go. Fun place to grab a quick bite to eat! Would go again and try something else.

This place slaps hard because where else are you getting a giant pastrami sandwich with thick cuts of super flavored, juicy, well-seasoned pastrami and fries? I've been to a lot of places that sell pastrami, and this is the first place that is worth the $14. Delicious! Oh, and my husband got the turkey melt but ate it too fast for me to take a picture, so I guess that was also delicious.

The food here is as good as it was when I first visited over ten years ago. Portions are large and I struggled to eat half of my double cheeseburger as I added a side of onion rings to my order (made it through about a third of those). The place hasnt changed which is a large part of its charm. The food came out quickly and the staff was very nice. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Came here with family after a long day in the LA area and we were passing by. This place stays open late and their food was delicious! I was surprised by the variety of foods they served and how good everything was! Will make it a point to stop by here when passing through the area.

Lots of patrons. Quick service. Their burgers have plenty of lettuce, onions, pickles, avacados and tomatoes. The meat gets lost in the burger. All the other flavors you can taste.

I was sooo happy to find this Venezuelan cafe one day before starting work. The arepas are authentic, the “Caracas” latte is delicious with a little bit of cinnamon, and the rich Venezuelan hot chocolate transports me back to enjoying a mug with my abuelita. The staff are so friendly and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. They have forever gained a customer when I am in Pasadena or anywhere nearby. You just have to try this place!!!!

Amara’s Cafe is a Venezuelan cafe that makes mornings feel special. I stopped by around 8 a.m. and immediately loved the calm, relaxed atmosphere with no crowds and no wait. It was the perfect time to enjoy breakfast with good coffee. I ordered the Galipan cachapa, a traditional Venezuelan dish that is basically a sweet corn pancake cooked until golden and folded over with salty cheese. The plate came with flavorful black beans, fluffy scrambled eggs, tangy sour cream, a bright green salsa, and tender shredded meat. It was a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and creamy in every bite. For a seasonal touch, I had the pumpkin latte which was smooth, spiced just right, and not too sweet. As an added surprise, they brought out a complimentary plate of churros with chocolate. The churros were crisp and warm and the chocolate sauce was rich and glossy, a perfect way to end the meal. The service was just as good as the food. The cashier was welcoming and gave excellent recommendations that made it easy to choose dishes worth trying. Overall Amara’s Cafe delivers authentic Venezuelan flavors with a relaxed modern cafe setting. The food is thoughtful, the service is warm, and the morning ambiance is calm and inviting. It is definitely a place worth visiting again.

First time here, and this was such a delightful place! The owners were WONDERFUL, so warm and welcoming, elevated the entire experience for me. We had the arepas, morning bun, coffee, and churros. The churros were so warm and tasty, highly recommend getting a spicy kick in your coffee, arepas were good too (slightly small for the price, but decently filling).

Cute little shop in the heart of Old Town Pasadena. Super walkable area. The coffee and food is amazing. Their chocolate is the star. The service is always warm and welcoming. They have lots of patio seating great for dogs.

Drinks we had were good. Food is ok. Dessert was very good! Small space inside. Some outside seating by the walkway. Structure parking. Elevators were not working. Had to use a few flights of stairs.

The food is delicious! I highly recommend their guava and cheese pastry and their lavender matcha latte. It actually tasted like lavender! If you want a quick breakfast or a chill place to get some work done then this is the place. The employees are also very nice!

It's been a while since I've been here, but I recently came for the Lao New Year Pop-up event, and do NOT regret it! Food was AWESOME! Sure, it's from the regular menu items, and from what I remember, that was still good! Definitely worth taking your date here regardless!

The food was made well but nothing jumped out as amazing. The broth is what they are known for and it lives up to the 36hrs of work they put into it. The garlic prawns were a great share plate. The lunch combo was worth its price.

Good food and excellent service! The fusion of Asian flavor and traditional western flare was blended nicely. My Pistachio latte was delicious and I was hoping for latte art bc that’s the norm now. lol Street or structure parking Bill incl a 20% service fee which is not a tip.

Food wasn’t bad, I came in for LA Dine in. I got the beet salad that was pretty good and the chicken wings. Then we got the brisket broth that was good I only like the broth, the noodles were strange like it was from a package. I didn’t try the sandwich it looks greasy so I brought it home.

They automatically add a 20% service fee (you can ask to remove it, but there’s no other way to tip—this replaces a traditional tip). The food was solid: we had the beet salad, drunken noodles, and fried rice, all worth ordering. Don’t skip the yuzu lemonade; it’s excellent.

We had a wonderful experience at Bone Kettle for our family dinner! We booked a semi-private space for 18 adults and 5 little ones (all under 3), and from start to finish the staff went above and beyond. With so many kids, it took a while to get everyone settled, but the team never rushed us—they gave us plenty of time before the food started coming out, which was a huge relief. Even as the restaurant got busier later in the evening, we always felt like our group was being taken care of. The fun music in the background even had our toddlers dancing, which made for a joyful atmosphere. The planning process was simple and efficient thanks to Thea, who helped us customize a menu perfectly suited to our group. Bone Kettle provides sample menus, but we loved how flexible they were in letting us mix and match dishes from their regular menu. Everything came out smoothly, right on time, and most importantly—it was all delicious! The small plates and appetizers were true standouts. I also really appreciated the transparency: for large parties there’s a 20% service fee, but the food prices were exactly the same as the regular menu (no hidden markups). At the end of the night I wanted to leave an additional tip for how wonderfully they handled our big group, but the servers and manager kindly declined. That gesture alone spoke volumes about their integrity and hospitality. All in all, Bone Kettle gave us an unforgettable evening—delicious food, amazing service, and a welcoming environment that made our whole family (including the kids) feel at home. Highly recommend for larger gatherings!

This place was incredible! Some of the best vegan breakfast we’ve had. In such a cute part of Pasadena too. Went here on two different occasions and the menus were expansive, for both vegan and non vegan options. the service was impeccable, everyone was so friendly and helpful, the coffee never got too low before a top off, and sitting outside was so comfortable. I will never miss up an opportunity to eat here anytime I’m back in Los Angeles or Pasadena.

Stopped by on a Tuesday, around 12:30 p.m. and there was no wait. Service was prompt and friendly. I tried the iced coffee, black, and I really enjoyed it. I had the BLT sandwich with fries and it was delicious (pictured). My friend had the fried chicken strips with fries and she liked them.

Milie’s Cafe has so many options, from vegan to regular and gluten-free! I ordered the Devil’s Mess and it was packed with bold, delicious flavors. My hubby got The Usual with gluten-free pancakes and they were 🔥. We also loved their fresh, homemade orange juice, and the Blue Majik latte was a refreshing and tasty surprise. Highly recommend for a flavorful and inclusive brunch spot!

One of the best restaurants ever. My family has been Millie's fan since 1960s and the youbger generations keep going!!! Perfect for a Breakfast/Lunch date. Food looks amazing, tastes great and the atmosphere is genuinely calming. You basically enjoy everything!

Everything hit the spot. The club sandwich was solid — toasted just right, bacon crispy, and the fries were golden and crunchy. Nothing fancy, just done right. The chilaquiles with carne asada were fire. Chips had a good bite, meat was tender, and the beans and sour cream tied it all together. Super flavorful. The chicken and waffles were on point too — crispy chicken with fluffy waffles, topped with fresh fruit and powdered sugar. Syrup brought it all together — sweet and savory combo nailed. The eggs benedict? Perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise, and thick bacon on a toasted muffin. The potatoes on the side were seasoned well and cooked just right. And those lattes? Super smooth, each with its own vibe — matcha, pistachio, lavender, and a regular one. They looked good and tasted even better. Overall, this place didn’t miss. I would come to San Bernardino just to eat here. I’m from the bay and I miss this place already. Pricey but worth it.

After an early morning meeting, we headed over to meet another friend at this spot. Though I had already eaten, I couldn’t resist sampling something from their menu. I opted for a lighter choice—the açaí bowl—which turned out to be absolutely perfect: fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. My friends went for heartier options, including chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and corned beef hash—all of which looked equally delicious. While the space isn’t small, it filled up quickly with eager diners—a clear sign of its popularity. If you're in the area, this place is an absolute must-try.

Check in online before you head out. The wait is real. They were prompt with service and kept the food and drinking coming. I got the usual combo and my gluten free waffles were doughy even tho they were brown. The food was good so I'd be back again to try something else. I also had the spirulina latte hot and it was tasty

My friend and I stopped here for brunch the other day and it was so yummy! I've walked passed it before but this was the first time going in. A really cute little restaurant. They're only open for brunch (they close at 3). You order at the counter and then find a seat. There's a few tables on the outside patio area as well, with a decent amount of seating inside. They had a rather large menu with a whole bunch of benedicts, omelets, sandwiches, and sweet items like French toast. They also have a small bar so you can enjoy your meal with a mimosa or margarita, if you so choose. The service staff was friendly, the food was well flavored and the meal size itself was rather large. Great place to enjoy a brunch with friends!

Had brunch here with my friend after Eaton hike. There was a line inside to place your order and you can't sit down until AFTER you place your order. So, you can't send your friend to save a table while you wait in line. (Bummer, I know). I did notice that tables are really close to each other so you don't have any privacy to talk about sensitive subjects because the people sitting next to you can hear your conversation and you can hear theirs, obviously. So, if you need privacy, this is not the place. My friend got the California omelet meal and I got the Classic Benedict, which comes with ham and bacon. And we shared the Crunchy House French toast. Everything was delicious and super satisfying. To drink I decided to try an Ube tea and it was not what I expected. I will stick to my OJ next time. Over all, really happy with service and food, will definitely come back.

This is a good place for a light meal with a cup of coffee in Pasadena, and it’s pet friendly! The gentle man finished my order and brought my dog a bowl of water asap, I really appreciate that! We ordered one Egg Benedict and one honeycomb crepe, both are good and huge portions, a good idea of sharing together if party of 2-3.

We thought about stepping out of our norm. This place was very nice, nice music, good lighting. You have to order and pay before sitting. We have them a 7 or of 10 for taste.

Located in Old Town Pasadena, a nice ambience to have brunch. The pulled pork eggs Benedict is so delicious you want more. Ube French toast, top notch and a definite must try. However the ube latte cold or hot needs more improvement. A place to dine in again when in the area.

We came here for brunch around noon on a Sunday. They told us the wait would be 45-55 minutes but we were seated within 10 minutes. Ordering food is the same as Urth Caffe where you order at the counter then bring your number to your table. The food was overall delicious! We got the egg salad sandwich, which was good, but the popping yolk burger was definitely my favorite. It was surprisingly really hot and juicy and the mushrooms in it were a nice addition. The only letdown was the eggs benedict with the smoked salmon but I think it was a misorder on my part, and I learned that smoked salmon and eggs don't go together. There wasn't anything wrong with the eggs or the salmon each individually. Each plate also came with a hearty portion of little breakfast potatoes and a refreshing spring mix salad. I also enjoyed by iced egg coffee a lot! It was another surprisingly delicious addition to the meal. In summary, I would come here again after knowing what's good and what to really order!

This was my first time trying crunchy French toast. It was good, but I don’t think I could eat a lot of it. Still, it was a nice experience. I also liked the potatoes that came with the Benedict.

Super busy on a Saturday morning. The staff were great but the food took a minute to come out. There’s a lot of seating, but still a lot of people looking around for a seat. The menu has a lot of options and was a bit overwhelming to decide while in line, but the French toast was delicious, would definitely order again. We got a latte too but it was just good.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I just wanted to quickly have a coffee with dessert. I ordered a medium Italian coffee and the Chocolate Pistachio French Toast King. The coffee came in about 3–5 minutes, but the dessert took 30 minutes after I paid. Yes, 30 minutes for a dessert. Naturally, the coffee was already cold by then, but that wasn’t even the main issue. Instead of the beautiful dessert shown in the picture, I was served a plain piece of bread and some raspberries. I’ve attached photos of what it was supposed to look like and what I actually got. And by the way, it cost $22.25. I told the waiter that this wasn’t what I ordered — it was supposed to come with ice cream and chocolate. Ten minutes later, a different staff member came over (without the dessert) and told me this is how they serve it. At this point, it had already been 40 minutes since I paid. Of course, my coffee was cold. I told them I was in a hurry and asked them to please bring my dessert. Another 5–7 minutes later, they brought me the same piece of bread, but this time in a to-go bag — even though I never asked for that. They just decided on their own. In the end, I never drank the coffee because it had gone cold while I waited for the dessert. And the "dessert" itself was just a tasteless piece of bread. It wasn’t sweet, it wasn’t anything. In my opinion, this was an insult. Just awful — I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I wasted $36 including tip and left in a bad mood.

One of the better Urth locations with good vibes in Pasadena. However, I do not recommended to-go because their drinks just take way too long (15-20 minutes for a drink). I usually get their matcha but was disappointed in my latest visit when I realized the whipped cream in my drink was chunky 🥴. Not sure if it was over whipped or sitting out too long as I ordered around 9pm. For $9, I’d expect better.

I love this place and keep coming back for their waffles. They have a good selection of foods and drinks and they are very delicious. However it is very busy and there’s always a line out the door. Their juice is good too with a big portion. Very nice decorations and outdoor seating. Just wish was less busy you have to wait a bit to find a table

Wow! This is the cutest coffee shop I’ve ever been to. All of the tile and arch ways made me think of my trip in Morocco. We ordered the blackberry tea and the honey vanilla latte. Both were delicious! We sat outside on the patio, the weather was perfect and the music was also nice. One of those songs was the main song from Titanic!

Would want it to give 10 stars if I could!!! Been my favorite spot since my LA days and then I moved up north to nor cal and if there’s one thing I missed about LA is FOOD!!!!! And Urth cafe! So every time I’m down there I have to make it a priority to eat. And even after all these years Urth never disappoints me!! The food is still the same and even better! Delish, wholesome, with a plethora of vegan options and something to appeal everyone’s taste palette from their extravagant menu!!!! And the service staff is cordial and friendly as always! I also bought a bunch of loose tea this time and man is it good!! Was just disappointed they were out of the Belgian chocolate pistachio waffle both times I went, that I so badly wanted to try. But oh well, something to come back again for next thyme!!! If you’re in LA, this is a must visit spot and I promise you won’t go wrong!!

The food was very tasty. I really liked the chicken parm and the pizza were very good. Oh! and I reaaaallllyyyy liked the guacamole! The server was patient and very attentive. It was too loud indoors; it was not easy for me to have a conversation.

I’m generally a fan of true food kitchen, they have healthy and nutritious options that do not sacrifice on flavor. However this location suffers in quality during very busy hours. The location is huge, with multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas. When it gets super busy, service is very limited and the food also suffers. We had to wait over 30 minutes for the food to come out, and when it finally came it was cold.

The true Trio menu was good for brunch. 😋 Chopped Salad was fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly and nice. Clean bathroom and seating areas.

Love the atmosphere of this True Food Kitchen Location. The patio is really great for eating al fresco, but the dining room is also bright and airy. Located at the far end of Old Town Pasadena, this place has great seasonal selections. I usually go here for lunch, but decided to try the weekend brunch. The portions were small for brunch, but the food is fresh and tasty. I got their avocado toast which was served with a spicy chili on top.

Staff is very friendly! The patio is beautiful come sunset… Plenty of variety on the menu so it’s nice to come back and try something new. My current favorites are the seasonal carrot cake and the roasted brussels sprouts starter

I used to really like this place — the food always felt healthy and delicious. But everything changed when I ordered delivery. Seeing that many stale carrots and browned avocados just made me feel like the restaurant isn’t what it claims to be. Is this really how you treat your delivery customers? I chose your restaurant because I believed in the healthy ingredients you promised. But honestly, I don’t think food like this does anything good for my health. If possible, let your chefs eat it themselves.

Ordered Butternut Squash soup on postmates. It was 10 dollars and some change. When arrived I wanted to heat it as it was pretty cold. I flipped it into one of my SMALLEST mugs and this is the entire portion I had received. Absolutely ridiculous & unacceptable. Please see photo and laugh with me.

I have been here twice now and I will be back many more times. All of the food has been absolutely delicious, the service is super fast, and the atmosphere is very comfy and welcoming. I've sat inside and outside, and enjoyed both spots, but you can't beat an outside seat when the weather is great. I also appreciate that if you order juice you get a whole real glass of juice and not one of those itty bitty half glasses. The coffee is also very good, it's not like the burnt cheap dinner style coffee, it's good robust coffee that actually has flavor. I've tried 3 different breakfast entrees now and all were great, but I love the pork, it's cooked to perfection.

Had the chorizo plate and my wife had the omelette. We’re from San Antonio Texas and are particular about our Mexican food breakfast and this place was legit. Hit the spot and made me feel like home.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The interior is very large with tons of seating. Overall great place to grab a coffee or bite to eat and just chill.

Ahhhh….what the heck!? This was one of the best burritos I’ve had in a long time! 🤯🌯 I stopped in for a quick lunch and went with the brisket lunch burrito. The side sauce was delicious and the burrito itself was so good! The place has bathrooms that are worst than truck stops and smells of sewage even at tables by the front window like someone peed on the floor. The staff may be rocking out, but the sound level is loud with speakers throughout the place The size of drinks is 12 oz. and lfot arger common espresso drinks like americanos or lattes you simply have to buy two Looks nice, but I would not recommend!

Really nice shop and experience! Came here with a few friends on a weekday morning and it was a little busy, but our food and coffee still came out within 10 minutes. I ordered the veggie burrito and enjoyed it so much!! The oat milk latte hot was also tasty. I would come back.

I was disappointed to discover that the bread had changed for cold sandwiches, it was great before. Also disappointed that they no longer have hot chocolate on the menu as well. It wasn't too late, and there were VERY few options for bagels. I wanted some hot chocolate and raisin or other bagels, but no luck. Two items that I preferred, no longer on the menu. Guess I'll have to go elsewhere.

Wow things have definitely gone downhill at Panera. I used to go all the time to the one in Glendale and I happened to be in the area so decided to stop by for a quick meal. Now there are self- ordering kiosks you can use in the front if you don't want to deal with humans (which I did appreciate). I ordered my classic Fuji Apple Salad with a half sandwich and waited. I went to the beverage station- there was no ice and all of the iced teas were empty. Turns out we had to ask someone in the front for ice....and of course there was no one to be found. Some girl who worked in the back eventually came out coughing, and sadly I had to ask her for ice which she went to the back to get. Why not just restock the machine? strange. They also eventually refilled the iced tea after I asked but that also took an additional 10 minutes. Please keep in mind it was insanely hot that day, like over 90 degrees so it would have been nice if the staff kept the beverages and ice fully stocked for paying customers. Finally I got my food and I had asked for my dressing on the side when I ordered because I don't like overdressed salads, I asked the kid working at that station and he said it's there. I told him well I don't think so- so he sticks his gloved finger into my salad and rummages around- and says oh yeah we forgot. Um gross and yeah don't be rude. I later saw him with the same gloved hand touching the microwave or whatever contraption in the back. I see why people get ill from eating out.... This really made me realize, perhaps I should go back to not going to Panera anymore. I still ate my food because I paid for it and hoped for the best, but definitely will not be returning. Please train your staff properly and get the place spruced up- it's a hot mess.

This chain bakery and restaurant stands strong in the midst of multiple new cafe openings. I love their salad and sandwich combos as well as their bagels and cream cheese . They also customize breakfast sandwiches so it’s a win win for breakfast.

This is a nice Panera Bread. It's clean and the staff is friendly. I love their Smokehouse BBQ Sandwich $9.49 and I love that it comes with chips. They offer many specials and promo codes for saving money with easy online ordering and fast pickup. A nice place to grab lunch and hang out.

The very little cheese that was on the Flatbread pizza was concentrated on one side. Which makes it look unappealing. It was also very salty. It's important to remember that people eat with their eyes first, if the food is unappealing then people won't come back. Please pay attention when preparing food to-go. The chicken take sandwich was the saving grace, otherwise this would be a 1 star review. It's a bit pricey compared to other products of the same name, but as a once in a while treat its pretty good.

I’ve always wondered why this restaurant is so busy every night — and now I finally know! The Pear Blossom cocktail was bubbly and slightly citrusy with just a touch of sweetness. The light fragrance of pear made it both elegant and refreshing. The Albacore Tuna Crudo was outstanding — crispy fried onions on top and melting, juicy albacore underneath. The balance of sweetness, mint, and cilantro made each bite so flavorful and refreshing. Pairing it with the Pear Blossom was absolutely perfect. The Brussels Sprouts were also a pleasant surprise — the mix of feta, cilantro, and the unique sauce gave it a North American–Middle Eastern flair that worked beautifully. Sorry I dug into the brussel sprouts before I could take a photo! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well thought out. Definitely worth checking out!

When we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly host. So, I initially thought that the dining experience would be pleasant. But contrary to my expectation, the service wasn’t all that great. Getting a simple sauce took some time. The lady who brought out our food just ignored our request. So, I asked our server who asked the host to bring it out. This was frustrating! In addition, the burgers that we ordered were not cooked as we had requested but were prepared well-done. So, the patties were a bit dry. Also, I couldn’t believe the burgers didn’t come with anything else—no pickles or greens. So disappointing! The only thing we really enjoyed were our cocktails.

Met up here for a birthday dinner with my girls and we had such a nice experience! Drinks were beautiful, food and service were excellent, and the vibes were relaxed and fun, especially with the live music outside - a really great meetup spot in Old Pasadena! For drinks our party had The Empress (gin cocktail), Lavish Hibiscus (tequila cocktail), Lola Fairy Berry (vodka cocktail), and a Pineapple Coconut Mojito. Their drink presentation was definitely gram-worthy - and our party loved all of them except the Lavish Hibiscus (too bitter). But they happily exchanged it for another choice (no charge for the untouched drink) - so definitely high quality customer service here! For food we shared a bunch of their appetizers - the Mac ‘N Cheese, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Breaded Zucchini, and some fries. Everything was plated beautifully and utterly delicious- especially the Brussel sprouts - they were my fave! Our server was fantastic as well - very attentive, helpful, and friendly - my water glass was never less than half full haha! The vibes are so cute too - sort of rustic, shabby-chic style with some really beautiful paintings hanging all over the walls and splashes of color to break up the wood theme - very Old Pasadena - loved it! Truly a place to take your time and have a relaxed catch-up sesh with the gals (even on a busy weekend evening)! Prices are mid range and comparable to the surrounding area. Parking is nearby in one of the numerous public lots or on the street but that’s difficult to find in Old Pasadena. I usually use the De Lacey garage - always find a spot there and it’s super affordable!

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The waitress looked drunk and was completely inattentive, the food was disgusting and barely edible, and the prices were outrageous for what they served. The calamari was hard like elastic and are you kidding me what restaurant serves calamari with out cocktail or marinara sauce!!!!! The potato skins were microwaved potato skins!!! Burger was the only decent thing. I came here because of the positive reviews. DONT BELIEVE THEM! Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values customers and food is edible.

My wife and I went to see a mid-week jazz performance (no cover charge). Nice, cozy eclectic vibe. I ordered their chicken sandwich, which was very large. The chicken breast was panko-coated and very crispy with lettuce and tomato. Fries were good, also. The server was very attentive and helpful.

A burger was served to us on a broken plate. After raising the issue with the waitress, we were offered only a 15% discount on the burger once the bill arrived. This is completely unacceptable treatment for customers. We have been coming here regularly, but unfortunately, this will be our last visit.

A decent Mexican themed diner in Pasadena. I would say that Russell’s is my favorite diner in Pasadena followed by Shakers but Andy’s is a nice option if you are in the area. They have a much smaller menu compared to some of the other competitors and inside is quite small as well. They don’t have outdoor seating so everything will be indoors and if it’s crowded be prepared to wait. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table for two to be ready for our Saturday brunch. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot however street parking is fairly easy to find in this part of town. Pricing is fair and our server was pretty nice although took quite some time for the drink refills and to check in on us. As mentioned this is more of a Mexican themed diner. All diners in Los Angeles are one of four to me. The traditional retro LA diner, the country diner, the Asian diner, and the Mexican diner. This being Mexican due to the amount of Mexican dishes on the menu, clientele, and staff. As someone from San Diego I don’t mean this is a negative thing, actually something that I really like and prefer even though I myself am not Hispanic. For my order I chose the Huevos à la Mexicana and did enjoy it although I felt that there was too much liquid, everything was a bit too wet, but still had some nice flavors. Overall, I would recommend if you are in the area and I would definitely give it another try again in the future.

A solid spot for breakfast. They have a very extensive menu that is served all day, along with lunch options after 11am. Decent portions and fair prices. The food was pretty good and well presented. I do not know how the sausage was made and it is probably better if it stays that way but it was super tasty and juicy.

This place is a classic. The corn beef hash and eggs were delicious and a great portion. The weather is rancheros with rice and beans were delicious and a huge portion a little spicy delicious. The location is clean. The staff is super friendly pictures on the wall. I really really neat 10 out of 10 we’re totally recommend. Just remember they’re closed on Tuesdays.

I liked Andy's... Wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleased. Coming from the southern part of this country I actually enjoyed the food. The biscuits were good the gravy isn't southern basamel type gravy but it was good more of a chicken stock for mashed potatoes gravy (that's for the southers, if you know you know.) They have grits!! Which was a plus for me. Overall I liked it and plan on returning.

I had such a great experience at The Reyn Coffee Shop in Pasadena! I ordered the Italian Sausage omelet with tater tots and banana bread, and everything was delicious. The omelet was perfectly cooked, the tater tots were crispy, and the banana bread was a wonderful sweet touch. What really stood out was the exceptional service—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. It made the meal feel even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a hearty breakfast and warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!

One of my top three go-to breakfast spots. They have incredible hashbrowns and make eggs as ordered. Big portions here, but no complaints on that front :) Banana bread is bomb. They also have decent grits which is a rarity around here (caution: if you are a southerner like myself, you do have to dress them yourself, but still nice to have them on the menu as an option). Service is very friendly! Wait is never too long.

This is an old school restaurant in Pasadena that is a gem. They have amazing waffles. It gets busy on Sundays, so get there early. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great diner. Chicken fried steak is also yummy!

I was looking for a breakfast spot with some decent seating and food, so I just stumbled upon here with a friend. Everything was so solid! If I imagine what a great all-American cafe diner is, this place fulfills all those expectations. So much Americana decor everywhere haha. And the waitress who served us was really sweet. Lots and lots of parking available.

EDIT: I visited The Reyn today with my partner for breakfast, expecting a nice meal but left feeling disappointed. From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed. We placed our order right away, and my partner specifically asked for her hashbrowns to be very well done. The server seemed fine with the request, so we expected it would be no issue. However, when her food arrived, the hashbrowns were barely cooked. She sent them back, hoping they’d come out right on a second try. It ended up taking a full 10 minutes, and we had to remind them before the dish was finally returned—by which point we were about ready to leave. To add to the frustration, the hashbrowns still came back undercooked. When we went to pay, we mentioned the experience to the manager (bald, wearing a button-down shirt). Rather than being understanding or offering an apology, he just explained “how hashbrowns are cooked” and then brushed us off, asking us to pay without acknowledging our frustration. I don’t expect much, but his response left a sour impression. Two stars only because the food was edible, but I’m not planning on coming back. The service was disappointing from start to finish. ————— We visited The Reyn for breakfast for the first time and we weren’t disappointed. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was attentive and great. While the coffee was mediocre, everything else made up for it. They’re well known for their homemade banana bread, which was delicious and didn’t taste overly sweet. The old-school diner vibes, complete with Snoopy decor, were charming and nostalgic. It's a small place, but there's plenty of parking in the back and on the street. They also have a few outdoor seating spots, but I suggest you try to eat at one of the booths indoors to truly get a feel for the place. Highly recommend!

First time here. Impressions: Cute looking little cafe, with too much going on. Merchandise is cool and interesting. Coffee is okay. Pastries are sweet, presentation needs improvement, it didn’t taste fresh to me. The brownie is technically good, but it needs more body. The chocolate sea salt cookie wasn’t crunchy or chewy, a NO for me. The chocolate cake with coffee buttercream felt like it was made out of a cake mix from the store, and the buttercream did not taste good. It needs work, buy it has potential. Less items and more precision its needed. Quality over quantity. More creativity would help as well.

A great staple cafe with fresh food and baked goods. Also a go to spot for knick knacks and quick gifts. They are known for their candies and marshmallows but it holds an eclectic collection of items. The place is small with limited seating but it is a cute place to get away to.

While the cleanliness of the shop and the convenience of the little store inside for ordering are positives, my experience at this brunch spot was somewhat underwhelming. The setup, where you order first and then find a table, can be a bit chaotic, especially during busy weekends when tables are hard to come by. Although the food was decent, it didn't quite meet my expectations, and the service left something to be desired. Overall, while it's an okay option for brunch, the mediocre service and hassle of finding a table mean that I won't be returning in the future.

I came for caramels and left with a full breakfast. Their breakfast burrito is simple and perfect—eggs, bacon, and the right amount of salsa. The house marshmallows are dangerously soft. You can watch them package candy behind the counter sometimes. It feels like a neighborhood kitchen that also happens to make incredible sweets

We adore this place. It’s more than just a bakery and a café. It’s a great pitstop at the top of Eagle Rock just off 134/210 on the edge of Pasadena, for any time of day or reason. It’s also throwback to better times, when unique gift shops would have seasonal displays and gift ideas for the holidays or any occasion. We pop in for fresh baked goods, lattes, and tea. We also stock up on their homemade sea salt caramels. They are about to decorate for Halloween this week and I can’t wait to see all the goodies! One surprise little treat I just enjoyed: a baked apple cider doughnut with chunks of apple. It was delicious! Their brownies and cookies are also great.

So, so disappointing... My husband and I came here for several early dates and have such fond memories of going here. We loved this place and really wanted to continue to cherish it (it's just so darn cute!). However, recently we've only had disappointing experiences. The quality of food has really gone down, flavor isn't anything to write home about, prices have gone up, and worst of all: the staff seems to have such an apathetic attitude at best and are outright rude at worst. We came here for the nostalgia on an anniversary, and left feeling so disappointed and with a sad flavor in our mouths, literally and otherwise. I think it's time to retire coming to Little Flower after all. :(

This place is my all time favorite breakfast place. Small area for seating so go early. They also have a bunch of fun items in their shop that make perfect gifts. Menu changes frequently but if there are pretzel rolls those are a must.

There are a number of pancakes in the area, but not a lot are open 24/7. Thank goodness there's this IHOP! As of the writing of this review, there's an unusual amount of extra normal number of people here, according to Google Maps. Goes to show you how good this place is!

Food was good, as per IHOP standards. Ambiance was great too (I took my parents on a Wednesday morning), but service was just ok. Blanca (our server) was in a rush to do everything so we felt pressured to order as quickly as possible, to pay as quickly as possible and (the tablet where the server swipes one's credit card to pay already had 20% selected as a tip by default by the time she handed it to me, I think she did that herself) to select the tip option as quickly as possible. I've worked in the service industry myself so I always tip regardless of how good or bad the service is. I quickly lowered it to 18% but it should have been 15% due to how rushed Blanca was for me to do everything. Other than that, not a bad spot to grab breakfast.

I got greeted with a smile and a nice and friendly greeting for from a kind female! Had great service and a wonderful meal. This place has never let me down. I got some pancakes, chocolate cake, and cinnamon dippers! They were all delicious! My waiter, Juan was a very friendly and polite. We had some conversations and made sure I got everything I needed to have a pleasant experience.

I got an eggs benedict and my eggs were almost hard boiled my english muffin were not toasted. I asked for water twice none came. The Pancakes my daughter got were not great tasted funky and were dry. The ice tea was so watered down the ice was full melted.It was so loud could barely here my wife.

Plenty of parking, convenient location, and I had a friendly and great waitress! It was freezing inside though so I recommend bringing a jacket. They have a deal where you can get something savory and sweet! I got the pancake special and got the cinnamon bun flavored pancakes with eggs, bacon, and hashed browns. It was so yummy!! All for $15 something. Kids also eat free starting at 4pm.

I went at night time. About 3:00 in the morning where there's only one cook and one service person, but they both did an excellent job! Food was super on point! I got the banana Foster crepes. So glad they brought their banana syrup back. Even if you're not a fan of bananas you have to give that a try. I'm not and yet I love the banana flavor of their syrup LOL

DISGUSTING !!!!!! 🤮 Today I ordered breakfast for my mother. It was a to go order. I noticed something moving around in the container. When I looked closely I noticed a FLY flying around inside the sealed container ! Gross 🤮. I returned it immediately. When I explained what happened to the young lady. A manger came out. He had NO sense of urgency. He asked, how can he help me. Even though he was told by the cashier. His lack of concern was as if it was a common occurrence. I will NEVER eat there again. If I could give ZERO stars I would!!!!

A couple years ago I would have said Denny’s was expensive. Now the prices to dine out are all roughly the same. The kids menu and the 55+ menu are a great deal. Everything else expect to be around $15 and $4 for coffee. Only gripe I had was that the bacon was well done. I like some crunch in my bacon but these strips were all crunch!

Had a late dinner here and was very impressed with their hospitality. Everyone was very friendly especially our server, Irene, who provided us with exceptional service. The food was great except for the T-Bone steak which was not up to par for the price. Ample parking, easy location right off the highway.

I enjoyed my time out here. The waitress was very friendly & understanding and I’m blessing that they get what they want throughout their time.

Extremely poor customer service, our waiter came rushing to get our order, I wasn't even done when she skipped to my son. The last time we saw her was when she brought the food. My son had to stand up to get napkins, sauce and creamers for the coffee. The food was ok.

It’s my first time back after several years. There are new breakfast items including breakfast burritos and sandwiches. They still have muffins, cookies and turnovers. The nova lox was delicious but I really loved my apple cinnamon bagel with plain cream cheese. The shared space with Peet’s makes it a nice neighborhood hangout spot.

The bagels here are incredibly chewy and flavorful—some of the best I’ve had! I always cut them in half and toast them in the air fryer for about three minutes. The result is a perfect crispy outside with a soft, chewy inside. I usually spread cream cheese on top and enjoy it with a cup of coffee, which makes for a truly happy morning. On special days, I add smoked salmon and capers, and it honestly feels like a gourmet breakfast that rivals any restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a satisfying and cozy start to their day!

I’ve enjoyed 3 different toasted breakfast sandwiches this week and each one was fresh, filling, and so full of flavor. The bagels are perfectly chewy, light, and add a burst of flavor. I had the All Nighter and added avocado - probably wouldn’t have liked it as much without it. My favorite was the seemingly basic Bacon Avocado tomato egg white sandwich. Every sandwich is perfectly paired with a flavorful sauce/smear and I loved the Santa Fe Egg White sandwich for that reason. My third trip there I ordered the Energy spritz drink which a monster energy drink blended with dragonfruit - I wish Monster sold this combination!!!

Its great for your party, with $ 24.75 you got a dozen mini cupcakes with many flavor such as : Red velvet, strawberry shortcake, vanila squarer, chocolate coconut, and for special flavor that only made on friday/saturday/sunday they got rasberry lemon and passionfruit. Its complete your party with cute cupcakes and great taste!

this place is very cute with a big reasonably priced menu. i liked the decor a lot and the seating options. this place just has a cute vibe. my cupcake honestly wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t bad.

I love coming here for breakfast and cupcakes. So tasty and light flavors..I have tried most cupcakes and nothing is too sweet or over powering...today I tried the bakers choice of BP&J cupcake...as a person who doesn't enjoy peanut butter too much it was amazing..the way the peanut frosting blended with the jelly it was so yummy! I also grabbed a daily special with a vanilla latte and a bacon breakfast sandwich! They also offer meal preps and lunch! I love their small gift area also for cute mini honey jars and miscellaneous things like candles and dog toys!

Place looks cute, but not a fan of the food or drink, it was okay edible and definitely over priced for underwhelming no wow factor, staff were not memorable. The taste and flavor are off with the food and drink, it was a long wait yet not worth the wait and there was no line inside either. The coffee beans had a dull after taste, not flavorful for me. The cupcakes looks better than it taste unfortunately, it was dry, great decoration and photos though, it got my foot in the door, however that was it. I really wanted to like this place and find a new gem, but not it sadly. Free parking lot, but limited spaces.

Don't even know that Dots cafe sells family meals until my cousin tells me about it. My wife and I decided to try their Father's Day dinner special. For $130, I think it is worth it, the amount of food can last for 2-3 days. The ribeye has great flavor, tender and easy to chew, especially for my kids. The salad is refreshing. Potato Gratin and the Spinach Cream are a little on the salty side. The peanut chocolate dessert is excellent, moist and flavorful, not too sweet. I will definitely try their weekly dinner meals when I am too lazy to cook.

There is almost nothing I enjoy more than the perfect breakfast burrito. I’ve combed through a lot of LA and had countless renditions, dots is very high on my list of favorites. I got the ultimate breakfast burrito and it was delicious I’ve already been back a second time. The eggs were fluffy and creamy and pared perfectly with the cheese and avo as any true Californian appreciates. What can’t be looked passed is the crispness of the bacon. No soggy bacon here. Reasonably priced, totally worth it given the taste and portion sizes. Also pictured is the ultimate breakfast sandwich another very solid option that will not disappoint, pro tip add the sundried tomato mayo. I’ve yet to eat the cupcakes but if they are anything close to the breakfast they will be the cherry on top of a perfect meal. Overall dots is a great location for a brunch and for those who have sweet teeth like me. The bright floral aesthetic and calming vibes make for a great start to a lazy Sunday.

My Place Café is an eclectic neighborhood café serving organic roast and a small breakfast. It’s cute interior decor is imbued with wall frames and message boards. Moreover, they have cute front outdoor patio. They’re located in a tiny corner plaza between E. Woodbury and Los Robles avenue. I was ebulliently greeted by Latanya, owner, and she explained their menu ardently. Their menu may look overwhelming and nebulous but on the contrary it’s very direct and simple. I end up ordering an oatmeal, iced coffee and turkey, veggie scrambled eggs on butter croissant. After I paid at the counter, they brought my drink and food at the front patio. My iced cold coffee (whole milk and splenda) was refreshing. Turkey croissant sandwich and oatmeal were warm, tasty and flavorful. Service was warm and on point. Staff were amiable, followed health protocol and professional. Prices were fair and competitive. Free Wifi. Parking was easy. In this voluminous review, it’s time to make a remark about this café. Overall, I had a really good experience and whole heartedly enjoyed my meal/drink. I highly recommend this café spot.

Lovely place were very friendly staff and good well-made. Personal breakfast sandwiches with lots of Adam and good eggs. Not overpriced. Good enough value and a great setting indoors and. And strong coffee with lots of options. But again the best part is the vibe on the staff and the welcomeness.

Breakfast sandwich was superb! Gone are the days of microwaved-sponge-disks claiming to be made of egg. I watched them crack the eggs in front of me, and you can really taste the difference.

I ordered an omelette, and it was phenomenal. All the ingredients tasted farm fresh. I am thoroughly pleased with the food and ambience. It’s an excellent place to hang out, study and work.

We drove a rather long way to have breakfast here, and it lived up to the ratings. We had two bagel breakfast sandwiches, a chocolate croissant, and two coffees. Everything was excellent. We happened to go on the final day at the Los Robles location, so we will definitely go back once they've moved into their new location. Food was great and it came out quickly. The menu is extensive with so many options for customization - heavily recommended breakfast spot.

We stayed at this hotel from September 10th to 14th. Overall, it was a decent stay, but unfortunately, upon checking out I accidentally left behind some hair tools and a gold necklace that holds great sentimental value, both stored in the same drawer. When we called the hotel the next day, the hair tools were located, but the necklace was not. This felt quite concerning, given that both items were left in the same place. I would strongly advise future guests not to leave any valuables in the room, as it seems housekeeping may not be entirely trustworthy, expected more from a 5 star hotel

Beautiful hotel lots to do, Great restaurant options, The taproom is terrific on Friday and Saturdays, with live singing and piano. Stayed there a couple nights with my wife. We had a great time. One of the managers named Alvaro insured we had a great time there and assisted us with anything we needed

Great place for a quick getaway! The entire staff is very welcoming and there for any of your needs. The spa amenities such as the sauna, steam room and gym are an added plus. Tennis court and pools are amazing! The property and views are absolutely beautiful. It was very peaceful and felt private, the history of this site is one to look into. Location is great and minutes away from The Huntington Library and Old Pas. The rooms are pretty standard, we honestly expected more. Our shower did not drain efficiently, the water was ankle high seconds into the shower. There was no outlets open or accessible for the coffee machine provided. If I'm being extra picky, one of the nightstands with the built in plugs wasn't plugged in either (again no outlets available for this). There is no self-parking on site as well. Another downside was the food sadly. Food was very underwhelming for the value... I personally would consider it very overpriced for what it is. We ended up ordering ubereats pretty often during our stay when we stayed in. Drinks were great, shout out to Garrett at the bar! Aside from a few small things that are easily tolerable, I would definitely stay here again! Everyone on staff and the property is amazing!

No Regrets. My four day visit to The Langham was first rate. The staff was consistenetly amazing. I have a special shout out to Fanuel Girmay, Bell Captain. Mr. Grimay really knows his restaurants, and is very well informed regarding all the best eateries in both the Pasadena, San Marino and larger Los Angeles area. Additionally, the restaurants / bars on site at The Lnagham provide diners with farm to table well thought out menu items. The server staff is second to none.

This is a beautiful resort hotel located in a residential part of Pasedena. Beautiful artwork and well maintained grounds throughout. I particularly enjoyed the Japanese garden. My room was simply decorated but very comfortable. There is a lot of space within the hotel and grounds to spread out and relax. Excellent bar and dining options on-site. I appreciated the free bottled water in the room. All-in-all a beautiful hotel that I would be happy to return to.

The valet doesn’t know the restaurant hours so you park and walk through entire hotel to find the restaurant closed after lunch. The pool bar is an option and friendly but the bar area mirrors were streaked with dirty dish rags, shelving hold stock beverages were bending from too much weight, and there is no door exit to the front valet so you have walk a football field length hallway to leave…oh, you have go get validation from their own hotel and parking service. Who requires validation for their own parking & restaurant.

Very special hotel that has a retro atmosphere of the exclusive London hotel which is the heritage. I would like guests to appreciate the ambiance and dress more appropriately but for most especially the young it is CA whatever happens to seem in.

We had an amazing lunch at Gus's BBQ! We were seated right away, and our waiter was quick to take our order. The food was absolutely delicious and filling. If you're looking for great barbecue from a local favorite, you have to check out Gus's. The atmosphere was lively but not intrusive. You might have some difficulty finding parking doing busy hours.

Absolutely wonderful BBQ restaurant that combines delicious food, southern hospitality, and a love for what they do. The ribs are cooked to perfection and fall off the bones, delicious even without any sauce. The kitchen is so efficient and the food comes out quickly. They have 2 toes of ribs and ordering a full rack of ribs lets you do half and half. Very friendly staff and plenty of seats inside.

Had such a great time at this BBQ spot! The brisket was flavorful, the ribs were tender, the mac & cheese was creamy and delicious, and that Kansas City spicy sauce was next level. Finished it off with some amazing butter cake and ice cream—perfect ending to a delicious meal! Also a plus is they have free parking just next to the restaurant.

Gus’s BBQ is definitely going on my list of favorite spots in Pasadena! The service was amazing , our server recommended the cornbread as an appetizer and it did not disappoint. So flavorful and gluten-free! We ordered the chicken and two meats combo, and let me just say… the chicken was cooked to perfection. The house made blueberry mint lemonade was super refreshing and the perfect touch to an incredible meal. Highly recommend!

First time here everything was good but not much better than most BBQ. Large portions and a good ceasar. In fact that was the highlight. Large 23oz beer was worth the extra cost. We had the ribs plus 2 meats and it was more than we could both split. Children's portion was also substantial. No problem parking but not an abundance. Make sure you get a reservation. 4.6/5 one of the best bbq places I’ve been to every bbq they have were tender and flavorful. The tri tip sandwich that we had was lacking some flavor though. But the service was amazing. I highly recommend their brisket, bbq chicken, st louis spare ribs, and links. Also the cream corn and mac and cheese

I tried their new beef taco, as well as the chicken, potato, and brisket. I really wish that I can say they are great, but I cant tell. I received my order after 20 mins, after I asked about my order, and it turns out my order was sitting on the counter for a bit. The tacos where soggy and just slightly warmed. It made the experience, a bad one. The flavors are there, Im sure if my order would have been given to me at the correct time they would have been good.

Yeah, it’s pricey as others have said. But good value, tacos are meaty, drinks are strong, service is fast and accommodating. You can buy 3 tacos somewhere else for the price of one here, but the one here is thick and you only need one. Same with the Margs, one and you’ll catch a buzz. You don’t need 3 surgery lemonades like other places to reach your happy state. Food, drinks, service is consistent and when it’s not any comment or complaint I’ve ever had is rectified immediately and professionally. That’s all a customer wants, value, consistency and issues addressed. Home state delivers. I think the HLP one does it better than most, the staff there is aces and the patio is a good hang.

The tacos and food are tasty and made fast. The hibiscus limeade is $5 but free refills. And it tastes very good. The brisket is quality meat (not fatty) and shredded so easy to eat on the taco or brisket loaded queso ($10) w chips. I wish the loaded queso w brisket were more filled with pico de gallo bc it was mostly cheese and a little brisket. The tacos are good especially bc the homemade flour tortilla is very good (chewy and toasted w butter). Seating is convenient on picnic tables. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Great vibe and lots of Vegan options. Street parking only. The place is super close to highland bowling in the same side. Love that they give you drinks and water in glass cups. Oh and their homemade tortillas are also sold in a bag for $8.

Chicken & Brisket Taco + Modelo for $20+ is ugly. Tacos were bomb. Price could be cheaper. It's bittersweet honeslty. I trust the cooks because they're my people (Latino/Latina) pero price wise too much. Not bad for Tex Mex but could be better as far portion size which was weak. Like if I'm paying 5 or 6 bucks for 1 taco hook that shit up. Overall 7.1 out of 10.

Love going here. Great esthetic and fun lively vibe we hit up last Saturday. Line out the door and still got a table on the patio with a dog and the baby stroller within minutes.

For the first time ever , ambiance and service outpowered the flavor, the food was pretty good and service and ambiance was impaccable, only a small tip from a collegue, just pick one taco and be great out of it. I hope you guys wouldn’ take my recommendations personal, just a little bit more push and five star is right on the corner.

Amazing food. Small, cozy little spot that is all about making great tasting food. Order at the counter as you come in, find a seat at either the counter or one of the few tables, and then experience food that tastes like it came out of a home kitchen. Every flavor is distinct, the freshness of the ingredients is apparent, and the overall satisfaction of eating is through the roof.

Had the BLT w/bacon and it was so big! Really delicious. The bread was soft and fluffy and the bacon was really thick. The hash brown cannot be skipped. It was so good! We kept coming back to that over and over. Husband got the "spam" & egg sandwich and enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the garlic fries. Parking is only available on the side street and good luck finding a spot. The staff are super nice and our order arrived quickly. We would definitely go back.

I hadn't been here in a while. I had forgotten how delicious the food is. I had the breakfast burrito and it tasted amazing 😋 I especially love the green salsa they give with it. I will be back. I also like that they have parking in the back 👍

If you’re looking for a fresh hearty American breakfast this is the spot. You can taste the freshness in every bite of their food. We got the Turkey club, breakfast croissant and avocado fries. The portions were all fair and very filling. The avocado fries was my favorite, you can tell they make it all in house and the acidity of the lemon kept every bite refreshing. One downside is the price is a little too high for the type of food. If it was 5 dollar cheaper overall I think I would have been happy.

My go to spot for a great breakfast or lunch! Literally everything I’ve ever gotten here has been fantastic. The breakfast burrito, avocado toast, spamwich, and any of the burgers are untouchable. The hash brown au gratin is a must order. The service is always friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend :)

This place looked nice and the sandwiches looked so good but I made the mistake of ordering the breakfast burger which was a sloppy mess and the bottom bun was completely greasy. I would go again but I wouldn’t order a burger there. I also gave the service a 4 star because they brought the two orders for me and my mom 10 minutes apart.

The rumors are true. Meth heads all over. Bedbugs are available. I called ahead of time. At first, he said it's $80 per night. When you come in, he charges you $120 per night. Hot shower lasted for 10 minutes. Was cold last night heater didn't work. The cable is cut off at 9 am in the morning.

This place is rough. Half the motel is purchased by govt housing so it’s going to be you living with homeless. It’s fine. They are nice! But the rooms are not great and there are no amenities and very limited housekeeping. For $100 go elsewhere

it’s horrible. i don’t know if it was just my room, but there were peoples unused items still there, dirty sheets, dirty pillows, dirty mattress, mold in the showers, loud screams and moans, lots of drug deals, lots of hookers, toilet paper that hasn’t been switched out, un clean toilets. it’s not just unsanitary it’s unsafe. just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it keeps you safe.

Nice staff but got gnarly flea or bed bug bites. Only had two towels and a bar of soap, and nothing else. California is ridiculously overpriced in general but dang this one was ghetto. Bathtub didnt have a plug too. :/ if I had known this would have happened I would have not decided to get a beer and stay in a motel and stayed home instead… huge mistake, lord forgive me.

So delicious, I think they could use better quality vegan meats but all in all it absolutely hit the spot for my Benedict craving I have been having as a long time vegan. We loved the food and drinks, the staff were polite and the outdoor seating was pretty good. Parking was easy. Love that carnivores and vegans can eat here together.

They have the fluffiest cappuccino foam I’ve had so far. My friend got patty melt and it was good. Mine was pork belly benedict and it was legit. Hollandaise sauce complemented very well with pork belly. Really tasty and flavorful. Service and ambience were nice. Only downside was parking spots.

I had the Eleanor's and they made it for me without onions, avocado instead of guacamole, no Pico. It was so good, highly recommend! The service was excellent, water cold, coffee refilled. Yummy!

Just had breakfast here for the first time. We ordered pistachio latte, California Benedict, country fried steak breakfast, and blueberry french toast. Everything was delicious, service was super fast. No complaints.

Visiting from Texas and I love breakfast! Everything was sooo good! Dirty Chai and Lox Benedict were my choices! My niece loves the French toast!

On Valentine’s Day, we came to get the car serviced and strolled around a bit. We found this brunch spot—the croissants 🥐 are really famous and delicious.

I am not sure how the food is but the coffee was so bad I couldn’t drink it. It has a nice atmosphere and it looks like their food and bread is good.

Service was good and friendly. Good wasn't anything special. The salad served with it was the best part of the ham and gruyere.

Love the restaurant and service. Their decor is nice as well. We came here for brunch and ordered the following: 1. Latte - didn’t like it, over roasted beans 2. Mimosa - ok 3. Smoked salmon omelette - overall great, salmon was a lot salty 4. Chicken mozzarella melt - delicious 5. Granola parfait 6. mini pancakes - kids loved it Overall a good option when you are here shopping at the Americana mall. Wait time was 10mins for Saturday brunch. 4.

The service here is incredibly terrible. You could be sitting outside for hours without anyone approaching you. When you do finally get to order somehow, they just drop it off and no one checks on you afterwards at any point to make sure everything is ok etc. You have to chase and flag someone down for everything you need. they are not attentive at all. They do not refill waters etc. My quiche today was cold, watery and gross and when I I told the server she still charged me for it. Not even an apology. I will not be returning here. I left hungry after having paid for the full quiche and tip.

Poor experience at this spot today. It was a Sunday morning and I did give the employees the benefit of the doubt because they were busy. However, we spent far too long in this restaurant because of how long every step of the experience took. Upon entry there was no employee there to help us even though many were walking past us without acknowledgement. When we got someone's attention they said to "sit at an open table". We ordered our coffees and water and (without exaggeration) it took almost 20 minutes for it to show up. We asked about the drinks and the waiter said "yah we're busy". I understand where he's coming from but there's better ways of handling these situations. When we did get our drinks my jaw actually dropped because they brought my coffee to me in a to go cup even though the other drinks in my party were brought in glassware. So odd. Food is below average in my opinion too. Croissant sandwich was flat and pretty boring and the salad was basically dry lettuce. The only time we had anyone check on us the whole time was to drop off our food and make us pay. Not the best time here. Probably won't be back.

Overall good experience. Consistent with other chain locations. Ham & Gruyère plate is good and the mustards the accompany are a nice addition. Small salad is well dressed. Interiors are a big noisy when crowded, so if trying to do a little work or have a meeting, keep that in mind. Good environment for families taking a break from shopping.

Great coffee spot in Pasadena! During my Pasadena visit, I came across Jones Coffee Roasters. The cafe is very artsy with art all throughout. Very fun vibe! The menu consist of your basic coffee options, latte, espresso, Americana etc.. If you’re not a coffee lover, there are non coffee options. There's pastry options as well if you need a quick bite. I got an iced vanilla latte which was perfect and a warm buttered croissant. Yum! There's plenty of parking which is always a big deal for me. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well. Go check it out!

Probably one of my favorite coffee spots in Pasadena. After seeing the new interior renovations, it appears to be a great lounge, wine spot. I had their matcha latte with whole milk. It had the perfect temperature, flavor and it was a well made morning drink. Overall a delicious start to the day. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items. Parking can get crowded during peak times, fyi.

I want to start off by saying this place has excellent coffee. The espresso is amazing. However, the matcha is not it. It’s usually okay. However, today I got a cup of mostly warm milk. It was barely green, and it was more like a hint of matcha. So I paid 6+$ for a cup of warm milk with a hint of matcha. Basically if you go here, get a coffee based drink, and you’ll be happy.

We live in LA and go to old mill foundation here sometimes, I always want to get a coffee on our way but so far we weren’t able to find nice coffee shop until today! Just randomly stoped by at this place and it was amazing, first it is a really beautiful older coffee shop with nice outside seating and filled with history of the place and sense of community inside, we god coffees and matcha and all tasted great! Service was nice and restrooms clean. So it will be our new favorite spot!

I was looking for light-to-medium roasted beans for espresso without any milk. I am a skilled espresso barista and know what coffees I like. I bought three different kinds of beans from Jones, and none of them had good coffee highlight flavors. Most were over-roasted, but some we still reasonably light but lacked the flavors I expected from their origins. I wanted to like them, but I need to find a different and better roaster.

Great place to get some coffee and do some work. Open space with an industrial vibe. Lots of seating indoors and out. Next to a few other businesses including a takeout pizza place. No wifi, which is actually really nice for focused work. Spotted some outlets so you can still bring your computer. Decently sized parking lot but it’s a very popular location so you might need to park on the street, part of the lot is taken for outdoor seating. Dog friendly, lots of greenery. Nice staff and decent prices. I tried a savory croissant (sage and cheddar I think?) and the lavender oat latte. Croissant was pretty tasty, a bit oily. Latte was a bit too sweet for me, but still good. Would definitely come back and try other things on the menu.

I ordered an iced coffee. It tasted very good. The interior was interesting, even though the deco is not to my taste. Limited parking space (they created a patio in the parking area) and no a/c were backdrops when I rate this place. The croissant is dried.

This charming corner of Pasadena (pun intended!) is a welcoming place for great coffee, sandwiches, and pasta bowls that rival big chain Italian restaurants. Mr. Javier, the manager, deserves plaudits for being kind and graceful to all customers. His special cinnamon coffee creations are delicious. This locale is fortunate to have Mr. Javier as its overseer. The music played is not jarring but relaxing and enjoyable. Give this local spot a visit and say “hello” to Javier & Co.

I had a great breakfast this morning with my kids. The manager Javier was great! He made extra coloring sheets for my kids, quickly made more coffee as soon as it was out, and was very friendly, helpful and funny our whole visit. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. Thank you very much to the staff for a pleasant visit.

Cook needs to be made to understand special orders. Food is served quickly but my specifications were not met. I didn't send it back because I was hungry and didn't want to wait. Ketchup bottles were almost empty, I had to grab two of them

I had a fantastic experience at Corner Bakery! My breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. What really made my visit special, though, was the outstanding customer service. Javier greeted me with a warm smile and engaging conversation that made me feel genuinely welcome. This location is easy to find and plenty of parking. They have a public restroom for customers only. If you sign up for the birthday club you get a free treat for your birthday. Got the birthday cake bunt cake. It was super cute and the staff were really nice. Unfortunately, the cake was so dry it was inedible. They have plenty of other goodies to choose from. I’m sure the soups and sandwiches are delicious. It smelled so good inside like everything was made fresh. Maybe go early in the morning on your birthday so your treat is fresh. Eight out of ten recommend.

How I've never been here in the 28 years I've lived in Pasadena, I'll never know... But now that I have I can tell I'll be a frequent visitor. First off the bathroom is adorable, do you see this sink?!! That's just the nastolgic designer in me. Of course the hot chocolate was adorable too. A full mug of whipped cream & a warm little pot of chocolate to pour over. I devoured the cream of zucchini before I remembered to take a pic but it was delicious. Dad & I shared the Reuben, SO tender, yummy sauerkraut, and the Cole slaw side dad didn't let me have any... Too good! I now understand why it's been here for more than 35 years... See you so soon.

Been coming here for years. Nice, homey feeling with the owner coming to your table to make sure everything is ok. Today it's spinach fettuccini with chicken which is creamy good and delicious. I have always had the best meals here. Good deal and reasonably priced for the quality of food.

I really wanted to like this place, but my first visit left me disappointed. The food was okay—not bad, but not great either. The highlight for me was the coffee, which I actually enjoyed a lot. The atmosphere was just okay as well. There was a fly buzzing around our table, which was distracting. Since the door was left open, flies were coming in and out, and that was a little annoying. On top of that, the service was not great. Our food took about 50 minutes to come out, which feels too long for a café. By the time we finished eating, we still hadn’t received our coffee and had to remind the staff a couple of times before it finally came. Considering they weren’t that busy, this was frustrating and took away from the experience. Overall, I will not be going back and not worth it.

Stopped in for just a crepe. •strawberry banana and Nutella crepe, with whipped cream- 🍓 🍫🍌delicious. Got the scoop of ice cream too. Walked in, ordered to-go, was served very fast, ended up sitting in the little courtyard. It could use a little love... Great size of portion, couldnt eat all of it so we had to grab boxes to go! Creepes with shrimps and salmon were really good and delicious - the guy cooked with passion😁 Hot chocolate and latte also made our morning much better. Highly recommend for those who like hearty and tasty breakfast. Also eating outdoors in the fresh air feels nice)

Best crepes! If you like seafood you must have the one with shrimp. One of the best I’ve ever eaten. It had red bell peppers and the sauce was exquisite. And it goes without saying that the Nutella crepe is a must have. Bonus: refilled my coffee!

I love the crepes here and the waiters are always sweet and kind!! downside: HOWEVER, I’m an avid coffee/espresso drinker and everytime I drink from here it tastes old as if the beans are not being kept fresh or as if the espresso machine isn’t being cleaned well. Please please may the owner do something about the quality of the espresso bc I love drinking lattes and cappuccinos with both my sweet and savory crepes <3

I called in on a Friday evening. The surrounding cafes were busy and the bakery seemed a good choice. I ordered a sandwich and in my opinion the offering represented poor value for money. I should mention that the bathroom was not very clean.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this location. It's super convenient with free parking! I love the location. This location was busy but the line was short. The food came out in about 10 minutes. I love this place! This location made me want to come back. I ordered the breakfast scramble. It was delicious. The meal came with wheat toast and some of the best potatoes I have had at ANY restaurant! I can't wait to come back here and try to the lunch. All the sandwiches looked amazing! Anything on the menu is great! This is a must try! The staff was patient with me and very nice.

Depressing atmosphere, old and smelly carpet, value for the money is ZERO. Quality declining. Cheap substitutions. Basically No breakfast after 11. It's a "bakery", shouldn't they serve breakfast any time? Totally disappointed and won't be going back. You lost another customer.

My first visit the manager was so friendly and helpful. Now I come back whenever in the area. Not a fan of the menu but Ive experienced breakfast and lunch dinner combos. My last couple of visits the breakfast burrito was cut in half ( not by my request) and stuffed in a plastic container that melted so I only ate the inside which was bland and flavorless. The pastas I’ve had are also bland & flavorless. That melted plastic also happens with hot sandwiches, this is dangerous for our health. Most of the time the staff is helpful and friendly but not consistently. Hit or miss here so far.

Corner bakery is a good place for a panini sandwich and or salads. I have been dining at Corner bakery different locations since early 2004 The food is good the breakfast sandwich portions are very small. And don't come with any sides.

They have pastries and freshly made sandwiches, pancakes, wraps, spaghetti, and coffee. Outdoor seats available for everyone. A good place to enjoy sunlight and breakfast.

Lived in the area for 6+ years and finally decided to try this place... Why'd I wait so long?! Excellent service. Clean seating area. Great pickled bar. Got the 'famous' broiled chicken hoagie. Barely sat down and was in front of me! Juicy flavorful chicken inside a fresh roll. Good stuff! More menu items than I expected. You just got a repeat customer!

There's a reason that this popular restaurant receives so many five-star reviews. When you open the door you are greeted with a friendly hello by the GM and the grill master. I asked for suggestions from among their popular sandwiches and ordered the California chicken club and a side of garlic fries. Both were excellent. The aroma of the fries and the chicken club was evident as they packed them for take out. Both were made fresh while we waited. We were there at noon and the lunch rush was just starting. Tables were available inside and a small number outside. The sandwich and garlic fries were delicious. I look forward to trying more menu items. The french toast being taken to one table looked excellent! This restaurant is located within Roosevelt Place, with plenty of parking available.

I visited for the first time with a friend who had pre-ordered a high-protein breakfast burrito made with a spinach tortilla, egg whites, chicken, avocado, and a few other tasty ingredients I can’t quite recall 😅. It was flavorful—though a bit more charred than I typically prefer, I can appreciate the style. Our visit was short but memorable. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with fresh bread being delivered and the team clearly enjoying themselves. The person at the register was kind and even threw in some extra salsa, which was delicious. Perfect simple breakfast on a chilly fall morning. I’m already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu!

If I’m ever driving by I have to stop and get one of my most favorite sandwiches the succulent chicken hoagie! The staff is always friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My second go to is the power plate when I’m on my Keto diet.

Update: We went for breakfast on a Saturday, I'm not much of a breakfast guy but for an "American Breakfast" you can't beat the place. Their pancakes, French Toast, Eggs Bacon, amazing. They are very responsive to orders and exceptions on your order. See the pictures, I don't need to say more. Original: An asset for Pasadena. This is my go to place. Been coming here for almost 30 years, very dependable, "if it ain't broke don't fix it" Chicken Hoagie is the best Chicken sandwich anywhere, I just get it with lettuce tomato mayonnaise. Also the Philly cheese steak is very authentic. The owner, Shahan knows everyone on a first name basis. His son Shant, chip off the old block. Even a couple of the cooks have been there since the beginning, that says s lot about the management. I love this place.

My friend told me this spot had the best salad & I ended up getting their cheesesteak instead. I tried a small portion of his salad and it was phenomenal phenomenal. The customer service was excellent, felt like a local neighborhood restaurant where they all would know their regulars. I had their Philly cheesesteak and zucchini fries. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious, wish it had more cheese but the beef quality, flavor was excellent overall. The zucchini fries were good and the ranch sauce took it over the top. Their condiment/pickeled section is also the best part. Try their pickled carrots, jicama, pickles and other stuff. I highly recommend this spot. I’d definitely come back here again and try their other items. Solid spot that my friend recommended!

The best bakery on earth. The bread is fantastic and the pastries are life changing. They always have new, unique and seasonal pastries, many which use local produce. They also have the best croissant in America. The raspberry or berry croissants are great too. It’s hard to choose which pastry to get because there are so many great ones. Get there early—they will sell out of some things by 10 AM on the weekend.

A lovely on-the-go spot! The Cauliflower sandwich is my favorite, and their baked goods are delicious. I recommend stopping by, and picking up food to take to the park down the street. There is no seating area or indoor dining.

I see some comments about staff; our experience with the staff was amazing. They were helpful, kind, and patience. They engaged in genuine, heart felt conversations, and were sweet overall. They had great COVID safety protocol. The amazing baked goods could be seen through the window on the street front. Outside distanced line to a safe order window. We grabbed a plum pastry, strawberry pastry, almond croissant, pistachio muffin, and a couple others…it was about $35. There is a parking lot behind the location. It can be a tough to spot the entrance on the street; it is at the north east corner of the building.

The sourdough here has that deep, roasty crust you hear crackle when you squeeze it. I grabbed a loaf and an almond croissant—both were excellent. Lines move quickly and the staff is patient with questions. They slice loaves if you ask, which is handy for sandwiches later. Street parking on Washington is usually easy

A delicious hidden gem in Pasadena. I got the quiche and it was worth it! Huge and stuffed full of veggies and flavor. I’d recommend heating it up while your there if you plan to eat soon.

They BLAST music at high volume all the time lately. I used to come here every morning to have a coffee and chill for a few minutes because it’s the only place nearby open before 8am but it’s impossible to do that now because the employees are blasting loud music all the time. I emailed corporate about it and they said they’d send a message to the store manager but that was weeks ago and nothing has changed.

Atmosphere 1 star because I use the drive thru. This Starbucks is ideal because it has a drive thru but I’m disappointed with the drinks. I have a bad coffee from here before and had another one today. I ordered the iced shaken espresso. It tasted burnt. I can’t tell if it’s a bad espresso shot or cold brew that was used. I went back for a remake and it didn’t taste any better. Just sweeter. Check on your espresso machines and pull the shots properly. The drinks are already overpriced. Can I have what I paid for

A solid spot for Starbucks with a descent patio. I ordered a flat white with almond milk. It was pretty good and the temperature was just right. I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu items.

This is a great Starbucks location! I've never had a bad experience. The baristas are fast and friendly. The store is clean and bright with plenty of outdoor seating on their well shaded patio. My wife and I always stop here to pick up road trip beverages when we are heading out of town. On my most recent visit I happened to be in need of a place to hang out while I waited for my tires to be changed at the nearby tire shop. When I ordered my drink the barista asked what I was up to that day. He was not surprised when I mentioned the tire change appointment and said they hear that a lot. The tire shop actually recommended that I go to Starbucks to wait for my car to be ready. Over the next hour and a half I saw people working on laptops, couples on coffee dates, and regulars chatting with the staff about their lives. It was a really nice environment to just chill and pass the time.

For some reason the new location made all the employees miserable and rude. I avoid this Starbucks due to the employees always giving bad looks and attitude. Every time i complain to a supervisor or manager nothing is ever done. The old location was better never has a issue until the new location opened up. Do better starbucks.

Staff are nice and very kind. I did a mobile pick up and the thing that goes to my drink was out. Waited a while and they gave me a gift card. Felt bad taking it as it wasn't their fault but they really go above and beyond to help customersget the best experience. They really work hard. Cute manager guy as well.

I was interested in stopping by and seeing what this location had to offer. It is a nice place to walk to and enjoyed looking at the patio and the sit-down areas. The food was okay I'm not sure what I was expecting I enjoyed the Chris Cross cut fries. The nuggets were just okay. I had a KL salad with the Chick-fil-A dressing and it was all right also. Service was good but almost mechanical. I know it's fast food but I do like people to be themselves and show personality. I guess it's perfect if you just want food quickly. It is definitely not. inexpensive.

probably had the best chick fil a customer service of my life here, when i was walking in, arnie held the door open for me, greeted me warmly, and as other customers left he wished them well very friendly, then when i got my order for pickup he asked me if i wanted water and then kindly brought it over to me. then other employees came and checked in on me, i was very surprised to be met with such great customer service. everyone here clearly goes above and beyond. very happy with my experience here.

Everything about Chick-fil-A experienced here. Customer service and well maintained facilities always standout at Chick-fila-A and this was no surprise at this location. Was greeted upon entering by an extremely welcoming staff member. Food was presented and tasted exactly as you would expect at any other location. A staff member came by a couple of times making sure all was in order. During the evening, this location's drive-thru was busy during our visit.

I just had the most awesome time at this Chick-fil-A in Pasadena! The place was super clean, and the staff was like, totally on point with the friendliness. I grabbed the classic chicken sandwich, and it was so fresh and delicious. The waffle fries were perfectly crispy, and the lemonade was legit refreshing. The drive-thru was quick, and I was out of there in no time. This spot is for sure a must hit for anyone around here. I’m already stoked to swing by again soon!

I purchase a Sausage, Egg & Cheese on a muffin at around 730AM. There’s literally 3 cars in line.. I get purchase, drive to work and find out they gave me someone’s $3 chicken biscuit & hash browns.. yes, I prob should of checked, but come on.. there’s three cars in line. Robbed me of my money and craving.

I’ve been coming here for more than a decade, and the service is always excellent. They have gone above and beyond a few times before but today I missed breakfast by a minute and the sensor on the mobile app didn’t register that I was close to the restaurant so they just gave me a free lunch item . I wish all establishments would have this great of a service. I actually think that every young person should go work at Chick-fil-A to understand what great service means. Kudos to this branch I’ll definitely be coming back many more times in the future.

This is probably one of my favorite fast food restaurants for the quality food and excellent customer service. Chick-fil-A deluxe in a lettuce/protein wrap with large waffle fries and lots of Chick-Fil-A sauce. The sandwich was delicious as always and the waffle fries are phenomenal especially with their signature sauce! Their strawberry shake was also great and finished off the meal perfectly. I’d definitely come back here again and the workers always doing their best to make your dining experience best. Stasia and Dylan for making my take out order awesome!

Enjoyed my visit to Tom's Burgers 31. This location has super friendly service, people checking on you frequently, always with a smile. I had the rib-eye steak and eggs. It's a thin cut, a little grizzled, but still a delicious steak for the price ($17). Coffee was decent.

Great nearby place for diner food. We enjoyed our club sandwich and chicken club. The combo came with fries (standard diner fries) and a drink. The people that worked there were very nice and came by a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Good choice for a cheap meal on a rainy day.

I have been here several times, and I would say that each time has been a miss. I have given them a chance over and over again because they are down the street from my office but at this point, I'm just wasting my money. I tried the nachos, they were soggy by the time I got back to my office, 4 minutes. Beans were okay, chicken was hard. Just below basic. Pancakes, the strawberry topping made them good. The turkey burger, a frozen patty would've been better. The salad, seemed like someone was upset and just threw it all in there and didn't care. The breakfast burrito, I have had a few times and each time it was different. Only once did I get a cheesy delicious burrito. The next time was enough to know not to order it again. No consistency. Breakfast sandwich, I was told shredded chicken could be mixed with the egg. Charged me $5 for a side of chicken, only to have a hard, chewy chicken breast tucked under the egg. I am okay with not going back to this place, no matter how much others love it and they have regulars. Guys in the back, all homeboys. Once, I asked for (and paid extra) for more salsa... one lady had an attitude like I was taking away from her. Huffed and when the guy told her to look at the receipt, she walked away and whispered something into the headset and he answered her to please just get it, all as I'm standing there watching them. At least wait for the customer to walk off before speaking about them. Just not a place I feel the need to go back to. Large inside with tables, ample parking, and they have a drive-thru.

Amazing.... The quality and quantity of food for the price is incredible with fast and friendly service. We had the French toast with eggs and bacon. We also had another plate with hash browns sausage and toast with eggs. We paid a little over 20 bucks for all that! I will be recommending this to my friends and family, and I will be returning for more!

The food here is pretty good, the customer service here is amazing. Everyone I always ready to help you out, they’re also very fast. Everything is pretty clean, and well maintained. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating available.

Country omelette was really good. Smothered in sausage gravy, tasty and fresh. The burger was pretty basic but with a good flavor fitte the meat. I would definitely eat here again. The menu is huge.

Fast and friendly, but the food is so weak. It’s like airplane food. Or high school cafeteria. Zero love. You can almost taste the business spreadsheet when you eat it. And very overpriced. How can this single egg and cheese on a bagel be worth $7? Oh sorry…$6.95.

Update been giving them another chance and it’s been 5050, half the time I can’t finish my bagel due to some issue. Today I got a booger in my bagel!! Barf, never going to Einsteins again Def got rancid cream cheese in my bagle yesterday. I always order toasted and it’s never toasted, barely even warmed up… the workers seem swamped tho and they do a good job so not hating on them.

This location offers all that other same chain store offers but has staff that is not very polite/easy to work with. I used to think they are discriminating, turns out they are just rude to everyone. When it comes to bagels, no one can top Einstein bros. and what it has to offer. They have up their game with not only a wide variety of bagels but making sandwiches out of those. The breakfast sandwich varieties are beyond delicious. One used to be able to get free coffee with purchase, nit anymore.

This is the best Einstein Bros. I've been to, and that's saying a lot. Very friendly, professional, and helpful staff. Excellent customer service, and let me tell you, I've had some weird requests). Product... I always seek out an "authentic New York Jewish bagel whenever I can. I love small, locally owned businesses rather than chains. And at first I thought "well, it's a production bagel - it won't be that good". But it was. And is. For $18 for a baker's dozen with two shmears (that's worth at least 9 bucks alone) you can't go wrong. Pro tip: whether you're bringing home or rewarding the office, ask for the bagels to be cut. Not only will folks appreciate not doing that awkward dance with the flimsy plastic knife, but some may only need a half, so why not?

I think i ate all the bagels in there. Or so I’m told. And I haven’t bought one. Love every single one. Don’t know which one is my favorite. The next one was better than my last.

Service was fast and their sandwiches are reasonably priced. I got a bacon egg and cheddar sandwich on a cinnamon raisin bagel and it was delicious. I wish I would’ve gotten two eggs to make it a little more filling though. Next time!

I love the bagels here specially the six cheese bagels. The six cheese bagels is soft in the inside and yet a bit crunchy on the outside. I love to make ham and egg bagels for the family for breakfast. They also have a variety of flavors such as cinnamon sugar, French toast, Asiago, honey wheat and the popular such as plain, sesame seed, and others. Is hard to explain how good this bagels are, you must try them. Sometime they do run out of certain flavor; however, you can see they are continuesly making them so they are always fresh. They also have different cream cheese flavors. I know there are lots of bad reviews towards the staff. In my experience they are just doing their job. They are not the most friendly, but they are not rude. They are just busy.

Not all Jack In The Box locations are the same. Some have better service, crew, management and adhere to cleaning practices established by the chain. This one follows the best practices and rules. The food tastes fresher and better because this crew runs a tight ship! This is definitively one of the better Jack In The Box locations!! Kudos to the manager and the crew!! 👍🏼

I always come to Jack in the box for a jumbo Jack cheeseburger combo with a coke and the service is great and food is fresh to order. Today I met a wonderful lady by the name of Katherine, she was so nice and attentive, even though it was busy she still made my visit very pleasant.

This is a fast food restaurant with a very good location and very convenient transportation. The biggest feature is that it is open 24 hours. I can buy supper here. One of my favorite fries here is Chili cheese fries.

Their tacos were stuffed and overflowing with fresh lettuce and meat. The staff looked like they are working so hard in the heat but maintained their friendliess and speed to deliver orders. I ordered via the app and waited a total of 45 seconds when I picked up my order at the drive thru.

This jack in the box really went above and beyond, their customer service was so amazing I just have to acknowledge their work. For a fast food place I was not expecting such great hospitality. Keep up the good work!

It's ok. Prices are kinda shaky for the portion of food. I'm meanits ok but it's my last choice to eat at if theirs other food chain around. I just feel like this is a copycat from other food chain.

I believe this location has replaced all of its meat with "fake" and "synthetic" substances, to cut cost and maximize profit at your expense. It may be all locations, do yourself a favor and eat at home. Zero stars.
