Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is a luxurious desert retreat nestled against the stunning Catalina Mountains. The resort boasts two golf courses, four restaurants, and two pools, including an adults-only pool. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views from the floor-to-ceiling windows and take advantage of amenities like a spa, gym, and lighted tennis courts.
I had a company retreat here, and it was a super nice experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The doormen would open the doors for us, the front desk would ask if we had any questions, and the cleaning staff was very friendly and polite. The rooms are amazing! The bathtubs were huge! They're large enough to fit two people comfortably. The beds are decent, although there were stains on some of the bedsheets and pillow covers. The room had a beautiful balcony view of the backyard (and the balcony was very cute, but I didn't use it because it was too hot). There's a small walk leading to a waterfall at the back, and the general backyard area is nice and shaded with a decently large pool, plenty of lounging chairs, and some scenic plants and streams to observe.

The resort itself has terrific views. We are still exploring. The room is what I would expect. Lacking nothing. HUGE tub, nice balcony, great bed. What really stands out is an amazing staff and wold class service. I travel a lot. I've been in hotels about 150 nights this year. I have top tier status with the world's largest group of hotel brands. I don't take for granted great amenities and excellent service. You guys are killing it!

Absolutely AMAZING stay at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort! 🌵✨ The location is stunning — right against the Catalina Mountains with desert views everywhere you look. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with cactus gardens, koi ponds, and plenty of spots to relax. My room was perfect: spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was plush and cozy, and I slept so well. The bathroom was spotless with a huge shower — my only tiny complaint is that at 5’5” I had to grab the rail to step in without bumping my shin, but once inside it felt like a spa experience. Having a balcony view of the desert and mountains just added to the magic. The food and drinks were excellent at every meal. Their coffee shop is GOATED. The amenities made the trip even better: the golf course with sweeping views, relaxing pools, a tranquil spa, and trails that lead to a little waterfall. We even got to do stargazing on the tennis courts, which was such a unique and special touch. The gift shop also had fun souvenirs — I couldn’t resist grabbing a green glass cactus cup 🌵💚. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The resort also offers tons of other activities and experiences, but honestly the bed was so nice that I luxuriously chose to “bed rot” in the mornings instead. Zero regrets. I left feeling relaxed and recharged.Loews Ventana Canyon is an experience I’d recommend to anyone. 🌟

Stayed here for a conference for three days. Food was good, service was excellent. Staff were outstanding. The resort really is pet friendly. After my cat sitter fell through, I needed to bring my cat with me. For just a $100. fee, she was welcome. Views were beautiful, room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This is a truly spectacular property — the kind of place that makes you exhale the second you arrive. My partner and I were fortunate enough to spend one night here, and from check-in to checkout, everything was flawless. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. Nestled against the Catalina Mountains, you’re surrounded by desert beauty, a stunning waterfall right on property, and walking paths that make you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. As someone who’s always barefoot for religious and health reasons, I was welcomed without hesitation — not a single issue, just kindness and respect. That kind of open-minded hospitality matters deeply to me. We enjoyed breakfast at their restaurant, and the food was okay. The only area for improvement would be expanding the vegan options — a little more creativity there would make it perfect. I also love that Loews Ventana Canyon was designed with the environment in mind. The resort’s architecture intentionally blends into the surrounding desert landscape, minimizing impact on the ecosystem. They also participate in Loews Hotels’ broader sustainability initiatives — reducing single-use plastics, conserving water, and sourcing responsibly. It’s a resort that honors the land it sits on. If you find yourself anywhere near Tucson, make time to stay here. Whether it’s one night or a week, this place feeds your soul. 💖 I love all you people. 1st time to stay at a Loews resort. The room was excellent - great view of the valley from our balcony. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. If you are going to Tuscon you should try this hotel - excellent value for the price.

I stopped in here to watch live music with a friend. It's got a beautiful lobby and I was surprised by how good the sound from the band was. The atmosphere is a little stiff but that comes with the territory. All in all, a nice experience. It's close to home so I will return.

Absolutely fantastic resort. I’m unsure there’s much bad to stay about my stay. The only negatives were explainable. Highly recommend this property. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Was one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Staff was world class.

Re-Bath is a comprehensive bathroom remodeling company in Tucson that provides a range of services, including complete bathroom renovations, custom tub and shower remodels, and accessible solutions. The company offers a diverse selection of high-quality products and design options. Their skilled artisans guide clients from the initial concept to the final result, delivering exceptional service and top-notch quality work. Customers have praised their smooth consultation process, efficient project scheduling, professional installation teams who keep them updated with progress photos throughout the entire process.
We had two bathrooms designed by Cole and remodeled by Joel, Jeremy, Jason and Roman. The master bath was completely changed - a tiny shower and garden tub removed and replaced with a large walk in shower that has the best view of our gorgeous mountains. The old shower area is now a huge shelving unit thanks to Joel. Gorgeous new floors, every finishing touch thought of. I felt 100% included every step of the way and all 4 gentlemen were so polite and personable. I never once felt like I was a burden or that they just wanted to hurry and be done. Our home was treated with so much respect and care. The guys even carried my copious amounts of Amazon packages in! A few weeks after the remodel I had a couple of things that needed tweaking and Jeremy came with a smile on his face ready to tackle them! Thanks again to Cole, Joel, Jeremy, Jason and Roman - you guys are such hard works and we truly appreciate you! The Ordorff Family

We loved our experience with Re-Bath!! The consultation appointment was smooth and easy. We understood all the options and easily made our choices. Our project was scheduled to take 4 days and it took **ding ding ding** 4 days! Such a smooth experience. Brandon and Rick were wonderful and professional. They set up so nicely, protected our floors and our furniture. Each day, everything was cleaned up and we got a recap on the process. We are thrilled with how everything looks, feels, and functions. Our new bathroom is gorgeous! The ongoing communication from the company to check in on us and ensure we're happy with the work has been great. I definitely recommend Re-Bath! They know what they are doing and they do it well. I included results pictures as well as a couple of "before" pictures at the end.

I'm so happy that I decided to go to Gadabout (for the first time), to get my hair cut. Marie was so patient and great to work with, and explained different techniques and styles for me. It was a fun experience, my hair feels and looks pretty and I will be back for sure. Thanks!

I've been going to Gadabout on River and Campbell for years, and am always impressed. From the call center to front desk to nails, the customer service is excellent. Big shout outs to Rene Sicilian (hair) and Vicente Moreno (massage). Rene always gives me an up to date and stylish cut. Love her Vicente has been such a wonderful and caring massage therapist. He is responsive to my needs and leads with skill and empathy. He even suggests extras like guided stretches before the massage. Also highly recommend using the steam shower before the massage

I've been going to Gadabout for about 20 years. LOVE IT! Even if the person I see is not available, everyone is amazing, from the customer service staff scheduling appointments to assistants washing hair, everyone. They've worked in family members who've come into town at the last minute. So helpful. I've been going to the same location but I've had family members go to other locations and it's always the same- awesome!

I love getting my hair done at Gadabout. I've been going there for about 5 years and have had 2 di$event stylists because my first one moved to Denver. My time is precious and so is yours. If you want a great haircut and style and be in and out of the salon in under 1 hour, this is your place. I can't speak to how long it takes to having color or highlights, but place is not a time suck and they do a fantastic job. The stylists are really nice and down to earth, too.

I've gone here 4 times in the last 2 years and had a different stylist each time. (Anisa, Claire, Mariella, and Victoria.)They have all done an amazing job on my hair. I'm grateful for the time they take to understand what I wanted and explain what they'll do to my hair. This place is definitely worth it!

Living Space Designs is a company that specializes in kitchen, bath, and interior living space design. It takes great care in designing every detail of each project to ensure that its clients are satisfied. The firm has been in business for twenty-five years and treats each project as if it was its own.
Helen, Amy, Jason and the whole team at Living Space Design are wonderful! We hired them to both design and execute a full house remodel which included moving the kitchen, expanding the office, and updating all finishes from flooring to bathrooms to windows and doors. I interviewed several firms, but decided on Living Space Design for several key reasons: 1) because they do both the design the construction which allowed for easier modifications throughout the project (although you can hire them for only design if desired), 2) because Helen could help me understand a full project budget up front before committing to the project, and 3) because they have extensive experience in Tucson and are so helpful in navigating a major remodel. The communication throughout the project was excellent, the team is super responsive for any and all questions. One of the things I was most pleased about was how talented and respectful the many sub-contractors they work with are. Helen has cultivated strong relationships with wonderful tradespeople, and we really enjoyed meeting them throughout the process as well. And perhaps the best part was that LSD had planned out the schedule so well - they told us to expect 6 months (which we thought was aggressive for such a large project), and they actually had us back in our home in less than 6 months. We LOVE our "new" home and are so HAPPY we hired Living Space Design!
Leigh W — Google review
The project is currently in progress, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. Installation is being carried out to perfection, with additional photos to follow upon completion. Customer service has been exceptional, with an impressive response time. We couldn’t have asked for a better business-customer relationship.”

We recently had our bathrooms remodeled by the professional, talented and truly exceptional team at Living Space Designs. Throughout the project Helen (owner), designer Amy and project manager Jason were always available to answer any questions we had and were willing to take the time to explain each stage of the process and keep us informed. Our meetings together were not only productive but enjoyable and resulted in two new beautiful and functional bathrooms done within budget and time discussed. Thank you to the entire LSD team for your hard work, expertise and great attitudes!

We had our kitchen remodel done with Living Spaces and we could not be happier!Helen and her team were total pros from beginning to end. I have no interior design skills, changed my mind a bunch and needed a lot of guidance. Helen and her design team were patient and extremely helpful. The contractors they work with are talented and very professional. They stuck with the timeline and I had the project manager's cell phone number and he communicated with me weekly, sometimes daily. I highly recommend!
Reem K — Google review
Helen Burch and Amy Vargas at Living Space Designs are AWESOME kitchen designers who helped us achieve the kitchen design and build that we had envisioned - simply an amazing outcome! Living Space Designs provided common sense value with an eye for quality within our target budget. Design process was iterative and professional, which led to a highly functional kitchen with the sleek modern European style we were going for. As a design/build small business, they provided the expertise and advice we needed for the custom outcome we achieved. The overall design is thoughtful, and most importantly, works extremely well in our space using a variety of cabinet inserts, a complementary plumbing design, and mid range appliances (Cafe, LG, Bosch). Construction and installation was managed by Patrick Talley of Home Provisions, LLC, who worked directly with Helen and Amy to coordinate the build. Communication was excellent between Helen, Patrick, my wife and I using texting, email, and phone calls. The subcontractors were polite and competent with Patrick making sure that we were satisfied with the quality of workmanship, which meant he often would jump in himself to get it done right. Kudos goes to Helen, Amy, Patrick, and the Living Space Designs support staff for their attention to detail and professional service - job well done!
Roger M — Google review
We’re snowbirds who recently completed a project with Helen Burch at Living Space Designs. Three baths were gut rehabbed, a walk-in closet was fitted out, and storage cabinets were added to the garage. Helen’s design was excellent, achieving all our goals, and adding some striking elements to their appearance that have wowed the guests who had seen the “before.” As a designer, her taste is impeccable and her knowledge of products and where to acquire them economically is vast. In addition, as an experienced contractor herself, she is aware of the issues that impact costs and can apply practical knowledge as well as design sense. Where she also helped us tremendously was as a contractor. It turned out that the contractor we used had taken on far too many jobs this past summer, and delegated to staff that were more destruction than construction squads. When we arrived here in the fall, expecting the job to be almost complete since it was promised to be done by August, we discovered our contractor was barely half done, if that, and much of what his people did was defective and needed to be redone. We fired him, and Helen said she would take over. It still took a while because we were an unexpected addition to her schedule, but her team was fantastic, doing great work, accommodating of our schedules, and attentive to our requests. We enthusiastically recommend Living Spaces Design for design, construction, or both.

Living Space Designs created and remodeled (soup to nuts) a true gut job, an amazing new kitchen for us. It far exceeded our expectations! So wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them for your next remodeling project. They were at our home everyday and completed the kitchen 2 weeks early from our target completion date. Now that was a gift to our family. Thank you! Lisa

Living Space Designs did a beautiful job on our master bathroom. It is now so beautiful it's like being at a resort. They listened to our needs and designed a perfect space. The materials we picked are simply gorgeous. Their General Contractor, Jerod, made the process very easy and stress free. It was a pleasure having them in our home for the duration of the project. All the designers and workers were so caring and careful and the whole process went so smoothly. I can HIGHLY recommend Living Space Designs to do your remodel. I simply can't say enough nice things about everyone we worked with. They are wonderful!

Day spa
Kaelen Harwell Spa is a Tucson-based day spa which offers relaxation through quantum-harmonic-sound therapy. This service uses sound waves and vibration to deeply relax you.
I was recently traveling in Tucson for a whirlwind business trip, and am so happy I discovered this little gem right in the heart of downtown Tucson. I was exhausted, and in need of a reboot. The kind staff nudged me towards a one hour session on their "power nap" table. I have never tried anything like this before... basically the table vibrates with waves that gently pulse from your feet to your shoulders while you wear a blackout mask and listen to music that is in sync with the waves. I was skeptical and convinced I would not fall asleep as I'd had no less than 4 cups of coffee that day, but I passed out so hard, and woke up so incredibly refreshed and HAPPY! I'm a mother of a 2 year old, so that kind of indulgent midday deep power sleeping isn't something I often get to enjoy. I can't wait to go back and try their other services. Afterwards I enjoyed some retail therapy in their adorable and well-curated gift shop. Definitely a must for anyone in need of some pampering and self-care!

My mom and I got 90 minute swedish massages (with CBD) yesterday - I added 15 minutes of the infrared sauna. I had Gretell as my massage therapist, she was amazing and the massage was absolutely blissful. I recommend.

Beautiful and welcoming environment! The woman I met at the front desk was so helpful, friendly, and responsive to my needs. She also was extremely knowledgeable about everything related to skin care and I felt so good after talking to her because she was so passionate about her craft. I ordered some new skin care products -- a mask and toner -- based on her excellent recommendations and advice. I initially went to just use their sauna, but came away with new insights about organic products and skin health. Wonderful service!

Clean, very professional, peaceful and beautiful environment, the best quality! Serene music, relaxing aromas. I came in at Tucson Arizona location for a Swedish massage, sauna and LED spa. I was able to shower before my sauna relaxation and before my massage. I felt clean and so comfortable. The massage by Gretell was fantastic. She made sure to ask me if I was comfortable and about the pressure. She made me feel very comfortable! I fell asleep during the LED spa. They also have useful and organic products in their lobby. I was able to get a nail polish and a pair of earrings. Five star! Really loved this experience with you guys!

I had a massage and it was wonderful. It was just what I needed after a long work trip. They were friendly and accommodating to my schedule. The complimentary 15min sauna before the massage felt special and relaxing. I would highly recommend this spa . Jessica gave me the massage she was professional and attentive.
Vanessa P — Google review
I went to the Kaelen Harwell Organic Day Spa to have some waxing done and to have my brows tinted for the first time. Everyone who worked there was really friendly, and the woman who did my brows was kind enough to explain the process to me. When she finished and handed me a mirror, I couldn't believe how defined my brows looked. But my favorite part of the experience was the complimentary 30 minutes in the dry sauna. I used the use the one at the downtown YMCA until they took it out. I'm so glad there's somewhere else I can go to find warmth and relaxation!

I will definitely be returning to this spa whenever I am in Tucson. My boyfriend had a massage and I had the signature KH facial. Both of us were over the moon with our experience. Everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and professional. If you are into synthetic fillers, dyes and fragrances, this is not the place for you. The products are so incredible. Please open a Kaelen Harwell Day Spa in Los Angeles!

The Sonoran Desert Overlook is a must-visit spot just a short distance away. It offers an opportunity to discover the diverse array of cactus species that thrive in this region, such as the prickly pear, teddy bear cholla, and the iconic giant saguaro. The overlook provides stunning views of the Cactus Forest, making it a worthwhile stop for nature enthusiasts and anyone seeking beautiful landscapes.
Neat little pull off right at the entrance of the loop. This was where we saw our first ever saguaro flower. ❤️🌵🏜️ I recommend arriving early to avoid the crowd and the heat.

They refused to acknowledge both my senior pass and veteran status because of the "rules" This is not government land, it is public land and it should be accessible to the public. USFS, get your act together and stop charging us double to access our lands
