American restaurant
Magnolia Table is a popular dining spot in Waco, Texas, known for its breakfast and lunch offerings made with locally sourced ingredients from nearby gardens and farms. The restaurant, owned by celebrity couple Chip and Joanna Gaines, is housed in a historical landmark that was once the Elite Cafe on the Circle. With its charming setting and delicious food, Magnolia Table attracts both locals and visitors from across the country. The menu features southern-inspired dishes, including a renowned chicken salad available for takeout.
We decided to make the drive from Dallas while visiting, and it was definitely worth it! 👏🏼 The biscuits + honey butter are exceptional! A must get for your appetizer. We shared the signature smash burger and it was delicious. The Brussels sprouts!!…SO GOOD. Don’t be fooled by the dark crispy color, these are incredible. Service was amazing as well! Shout out to Loren for making our experience so welcoming. 🫶🏼 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time visit here while I was in Austin. The atmosphere was quaint and cute. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The server was a wonderful young lady and very friendly! The best thing we ate was the appetizer of maple bacon & deviled eggs... absolutely hands down the BEST 👌 10 OUT OF 10! The other food we got was good but the eggs and bacon app was the show!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Magnolia Table is truly a special experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with that signature Magnolia charm that makes you feel right at home. The staff was attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The biscuits and strawberry butter are a must-try, and every dish we ordered felt like it was made with care and attention to detail. Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and delicious. What really stood out was how everything—from the décor to the menu—felt thoughtful and intentional. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s an experience that leaves you smiling long after you leave. I highly recommend Magnolia Table to anyone visiting Waco. Whether it’s breakfast with family or brunch with friends, this is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

Definitely make a reservation! My son ordered Jo's crunchy French toast with over easy eggs and bacon, my sister and I ordered the Farm house breakfast and we had coffee. Everything was SO good. The French toast was the favorite. The bacon is very good too. We were seated at 10:20 am, and our reservation was at 10:30 am today. Service was very good and the food was delicious! We loved the atmosphere! The plant boxes everywhere were very nice. The restrooms were very clean and they had an attendant in there to keep it clean. We appreciated that there wasn't music playing in the background. You could just hear the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant and the conversations of people enjoying a meal together. We will make sure Magnolia Table is part of our annual trip to Silobration!

Came here for the first time for a quick brunch, and also because I was curious about this place I watched on Fixer Upper years ago. Perhaps because it was a Tuesday, it was very easy to make a 12.30pm reservation last minute. Still, the place was full when I got there, and I felt lucky to find a spot right away in the parking lot. Upon entering, I found the place quite large and bright, although the hostess could be a bit more welcoming to guests. Once seated, service and food came quickly, and my server was excellent. I ordered the avocado toast with a poached egg, and a pumpkin spiced latte with soy milk. Perhaps paying $16.50 for one slice of toast with no sides was a bit expensive, I was pleasantly surprised that it was super tasty, and the sourdough bread was nice and soft, just the way I liked it. The pumpkin spiced latte was a bit too sweet for me, but the flavor was good. All in all, it was a very nice experience and I would certainly recommend this place for brunch.

Beautiful restaurant! The staff was amazing! Food was good, but not exactly that "next level" I was expecting. Don't get me wrong, it was good, and I would go back. I guess with all the hype I was expecting more. But overall its an awesome dining experience. I suggest reservations. It was packed when we arrived and the seated us immediately.

Here in Waco with my daughter for the weekend and we planned dinner here, I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and our waitress was amazing, exception service. We had the chicken biscuit sliders for our appetizer and it did not disappoint, I ordered the steak frites but subbed the blue cheese sauce for the chimichurri sauce and also subbed the fries for the mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were a ok, my steak was unevenly cooked (I like medium rare) and a bit chewy/tough, but I'm a hard critic when it comes to steak, the chimichurri sauce was amazing!! My daughter had the bucatini pasta and that was perfect! Overall food and service was good I would definitely come back but I would just choose a different main entree! very good, however

Cannot say enough positive words about Magnolia Table. Now folks, Magnolia Table, and the Silos including Magnolia Market have come to be quite the destinations in Waco, and we knew that going in. So, we made reservatioons at Magnolia Table for 2:00pm on a weekday. When we arrived about 15 minutes early we were seated within 5 minutes. Had a VERY pleasant server. We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich (Her) and I had the French Toast Crunch. Photos of both attached. Both meals were EXCELLENT. Our only complaints (an observation more than complaint) was that the portions were HUGE. My wife didn't fininsh her side of potatoes, and I really struggled with my French Toast. The couple next to us (had a nice chat with them during the meal) left 1/2 their food on the plates. So, 5 stars for Magnolia Table. The place was spotless, waitress was very pleasant, food was excellent, and restrooms were tidy. Like I said, make reservations well in advance if possible, and yeah ... you'll likely be dining in a full restaurant.

Coffee shop
Cafe Cappuccino is a local chain with two locations in Waco, offering a contemporary setting to enjoy breakfast, sandwiches, tea, and coffee drinks. Known for its varied coffee menu and delicious breakfast items like plate-sized pancakes and innovative omelets, it's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The cafe also offers traditional favorites alongside light salads and lunch specials to cater to different tastes.
Atmosphere: Looking at it from the outside is way different than being inside the establishment. From the outside it blended within the surrounding buildings, but once I entered the restaurant it had a great ambiance, especially with the greenery wall great for photo ops. The lights were nice and ample seating in the front of the building, with more towards the back of the building. There was a lot of natural light and was able to see the farmers market as I had breakfast. Service: Service was great as soon as we entered the restaurant and was almost seated immediately. Our waitress was able to answer all of our questions and was even able to offer recommendations. Quality: I had the Mexican Scramble with a pancake. Before I get to the great part of the meal, the Mexican Scramble had so much flavor and was a decent amount for what was paid for. The sign wasn't lying when it said Pancake Heaven... I got a buttermilk pancake and it was delicious. The right amount of fluffiness and still had the ability to absorb the syrup that was provided. Definitely a top spot for eating purely pancakes. Fili's Fave: No surprise here...the pancakes are where it's at and definitely going to broaden my horizon with the various types of pancakes they offer. Now if I could only obtain some of the merch that the employees were using

Food was freshhhh and delicious! Very good atmosphere and very clean. Look for my girl Ariel for service! Good young lady in the front. Breakfast was amazing! Just look at the photos below. Great work you guys!

Cafe Cappuccino – Pancake Heaven or Pancake Hype? Downtown Waco’s Cafe Cappuccino brands itself as “Pancake Heaven”—lit up in neon like a promise. But anytime you declare heavenly status in breakfast form, you better deliver. So… did they? Atmosphere & Setup Cozy, diner-esque with a touch of charm (including a random Eiffel Tower photo that keeps things interesting). The big catch? You’ve got to scan a QR code at the entrance to get on the waitlist. Not exactly warm and fuzzy, but it’s efficient—especially on weekends. Food Rundown • Breakfast Taco: Bacon, hash browns, cheese, and eggs folded inside a flour tortilla. A bit of shredded cheddar and a side of picante sauce—which, honestly, felt like a throwback. Not the worst, not the best—just unexpected. Would’ve preferred a fresh, in-house salsa to lift the flavor. • Sweet Potato Pancake: Huge. Like, one covers the whole plate huge. Texture was nice, edges had a crisp, and it was sweet without being overkill. Ate about half and called it a win. • Coffee: Solid. Hot. No complaints. And the best part? Tony, my server, offered me a to-go coffee without even being asked. That’s next-level. Service: The Real Highlight Let’s talk about Tony. Attentive, friendly, checked on me multiple times without hovering. He anticipated what I needed, and honestly, that elevated the whole experience. It’s rare to get that kind of thoughtful service these days—Tony’s the kind of person that makes you want to come back, even if the pancakes don’t knock you off your feet. Egg Surcharge? Yep. There’s a whole sign about it at the front. “Due to rising egg prices…” and so on. Honestly, I’d rather they just build it into the menu price and call it a day. Nobody wants to walk into a breakfast spot and be greeted by a cost breakdown memo. Final Take: 4 out of 5 stars. The food? Decent. The vibe? Chill. The service? Exceptional. Tony, if you’re reading this—you’re the MVP. And if you go, just know one pancake is plenty. They don’t mess around with portion sizes. ⸻ Want this adapted into a short review for Yelp/Google with a photo caption suggestion too?

Really delicious breakfasts with whole wheat pancakes and sugar free syrup. And they have the most sugar free coffee flavor options I've ever seen. Really friendly staff. Highly recommend.

This place was recommended by a friend. I've been to several coffee shop / breakfast places in Waco but this one had the biggest menu of them all and everything I ordered was great. As a matter of fact I came back three more times during the week I was here!
Kevin S — Google review
We had been wanting to try breakfast here. To start; we waited a while for service which wasn't a big deal until we realized that we were 1 of about 4 tables in the whole place and there were 3 servers. My cappuccino was very watery as were my husband's biscuits and gravy. Not runny gravy... watery. Not creamy at all. Of all the offerings on the menu I chose quiche... I had been craving a good quiche. This place was usually busy and I felt that reflected of the food and service. It smelled clean when we walked in so we thought they're bound to be good... NO. My "quiche" came out and visibly I was already disappointed. It looked like a brick that you build houses with. I stuck my fork in and got the same.... it was pre-made (which I expected) hard, rubbery, and hard to chew. And while the pancakes had good flavor they left much to be desired in the fluff department. To the owners of this establishment; please Google what quiche is and take the brick off the menu! Last but not least; I was forced to eat said brick because I was starving and my server never came back to check on me. Very disappointing date with my husband.... UPDATE- As can be seen below; business owners don't have time for a genuine response anymore. While we appreciate your apology it is not taken with the same feeling of mutual respect when it is obviously the same bulk chain response that every guest gets when we come to an owner with genuine concern for their business. We do not take time out of our day to review your place of business to hurt your business. We take time to give you a review because we want to see you get better and do better. Have a nice day and please do better.

Brittany was our waitress. She was wonderful with the kids & very helpful with suggestions for meals. My son said, "Britanny was the best waitress!! These were the best pancakes in the world!!!! I give it 1 million of 5 🌟 🤩 ⭐️. Next time we come to Waco this is our breakfast place. "
MonaLisa F — Google review
Been here a few times, it’s one of the better breakfast places in Waco. We waited about about 5-10 minutes using the check in website to check in. Service was quick to get us drinks and take our food order. After we ordered it took a bit for our food to come out. Maybe 25-30 minutes. The music kept fluctuating in volume which was a bit distracting. Also someone was messing with the lights. The lights in the restaurant turned on and off a few times but no big deal. The food was mostly very great. Mexican mash is super flavorful. Everything was cooked really well except the biscuits and gravy was cold. One single egg on the side was charged 4.05 with surprising and a bit of a rip off since a lot of the items were just barely more than that for a larger amount of food. Other than the biscuits and gravy being cold, overcharged for a single egg, and the food taking a bit to come out it was great. We enjoyed it!

The Waco Hippodrome Theatre is a long-standing venue that offers a variety of entertainment options, including new and classic movies, plays, concerts, and in-theater dining. It is also a popular choice for wedding ceremonies and receptions, with indoor dining spaces, a bar, and a rooftop patio bar. The theatre boasts an early 1900s aesthetic that adds an antique and vintage atmosphere to events.
This is such a beautiful restored theater! The seats are a little close and the ceiling needs to be repainted but other than that it is an excellent venue! The staff was exceptional! They were very kind & helpful. We loved the Who's Live Anyway Show and would definitely come back for another event. 5 stars!

This place is amazing. The architecture is beautiful. I took my fiancé to see Gene Watson for his birthday. It was hands down one of the best concerts we have ever seen. The only complaint, I believe, would be that when we went to buy souvenirs, it was cash only. I know thats not the venues fault. Just a fyi. Thank you for making his birthday so memorable 🩷

Epic experience. Great staff and seating. Can't wait to come back for other shows!!

Just saw a Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison tribute and really enjoyed it. Parking was easy, just a half a block away. Comfortable seating, we were on the 6th row, so great seats. Tickets purchased online several weeks ago. The entertainment and sound were great! Would definitely go back again. Venue was very nice, and just the right size to be easy-in and easy-out. We had dinner at the 1928 after and it was great! Terry Black's BBQ is new and right down the block as well, as is Pivovar is you want German style food. Many choices, ample parking on a Sunday evening.

I want to give a special shoutout to Sunshine, part of the amazing cleaning staff at the Waco Hippodrome. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and had such a positive energy. Every time I saw him, he was working hard — never standing still — always making sure everything was clean and running smoothly. His dedication and kindness truly stood out and made our visit even better. Thank you, Sunshine, for everything you do!

Love the Waco Hippodrome – A True Cultural Treasure! I absolutely love the Waco Hippodrome! This historic venue is such a vibrant part of the community and consistently delivers excellent shows that appeal to all kinds of audiences. From live music and theater to film screenings and special events, the programming is always thoughtfully curated and top-notch. The quality of the performances is outstanding, featuring incredibly talented artists who pour their hearts into every show. Whether you’re watching a local production or a visiting act, the experience is always engaging and memorable. The intimate setting of the Hippodrome creates a special connection between the audience and performers, making each event feel personal and unique. The staff and volunteers are friendly, helpful, and passionate about the arts, which adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear that a lot of love and care goes into maintaining the venue and supporting the arts community here in Waco. If you haven’t been to the Waco Hippodrome yet, you’re truly missing out on one of the city’s best cultural gems. It’s a perfect place for a night out, whether you’re with friends, family, or on a date. I can’t recommend it enough and always look forward to my next visit!
Linda T — Google review
This is an historic building that, like the Tardis, seems bigger on the inside. When I say historic, I mean it, they have photos lining the hallway outside the theater with several famous vintage acts. Once you get used to the seating arrangements, everything makes sense (seat 1 to 4 on each row are on the far right with an aisle separating it from seat 5 and up until another aisle and 4 more seats on the left.) We saw several people sit in the wrong spots and adjust when someone came for the seat. It is a smaller more intimate venue which I think is perfect for some shows. Parking can be confusing so get there early and drive around a little. The sound is good and I expect to see several shows here.

Love the Hippodrome go ever chance we can when we are in town visiting our children. Seen " Johnny Cash" and just recently "Elvis". Enjoyed them both, but the youngman that did Elvis was wonderful. He made all the ladies young and old feel special and his interaction with the audiance was great. We could have stayed all night and listen to him..May come back in May.

The World Cup Cafe and Fair Trade Market is a vibrant and socially conscious cafe located in Waco, Texas. It offers a variety of specialty coffees, pastries, and full plates at reasonable prices. The cafe celebrates diversity and supports fair trade by selling goods from different cultures. As part of Mission Waco, it also provides training in the food service industry to contribute to the community's economic development.
I ordered the World Cup Express breakfast for takeout. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted warmly and genuinely felt welcomed. My order was ready upon my arrival, the food smelled great and was warm. The French toast was exceptional, the scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, and the bacon and sausage were flavorful and expertly prepared. It is unfortunate that I can only rate it five stars, as it truly deserves more. I eagerly anticipate returning, dining in, and exploring other menu options.

I loved my visit to World Cup Cafe. I’m new to town - googled Best Breakfasts in Waco - and World Cup came up. It definitely lived up to the hype. The staff was super caring and attentive. The food was fantastic. I got the Huaca Hash. I will definitely be coming back. On top of the great food and service - the mission of the restaurant is very encouraging.

Our ladies group met here for coffee and Bible Study. This is such a a great place. 3 of our ladies have an October birthday and we were surprised when Chef Mike brought out chocolate covered strawberries and he and his staff sang "happy birthday". What a blessing! We will definitely come here again. We are about to order lunch here. You need to check it out. This place is awesome!!! ❤️

Comfortable diner atmosphere. There's a counter with swivel chairs, the waitress yelled at the cook, there's classic rock on the speakers but not loud - everything you want in a diner. The pancakes were really good and HUGE for the price. They also have a lunch menu I want to come back for.

Excellent service! Marjean was Awesome. The food is Amazing! We had breakfast. Pancakes taste homemade. Chef Mike was grilling it up. Our server Quantesha was the best and she made the best Carmel latte I have ever had! I will definitely be back!

The owner was friendly and welcoming. That is where that ended. I ordered French toast and over medium eggs and they were served on the same plate 😭 since she put the food down and ran away, I couldn't ask her for anything else. She saw me not eating when she went to a table next to mine and still walked away after taking their order. Finally 8 minutes later I flagged her down so I could PLEASE eat my food. All I needed was a plate for the French toast. Everything tasted great except that it was cold since I was being ignored and my eggs were ruined with maple syrup and pecans. When I finally asked for another plate she said, "for what, to go?" Um, no, I would like to eat my food. Everything is great by the way thanks for asking!!! I will never return based on this visit.

What an incredible experience! This breakfast diner isn’t just about good food, it’s about God’s goodness in action. The atmosphere was full of warmth and purpose. Chef Mike was phenomenal! His hospitality made the meal even better, and hearing his testimony was powerful. You can truly see that God hand placed him here. The food was delicious, the service heartfelt, and the mission behind it all makes every bite even more meaningful. Highly recommend supporting this beautiful ministry!

Nestled in Waco, The Ranchito #5 is a cozy haven that serves up authentic Mexican cuisine with a delightful twist. With its inviting interior and daily specials, this eatery caters to all cravings at any hour—breakfast is available all day! Whether you're in the mood for classic breakfast tacos or hearty huevos rancheros, you'll find something to satisfy your appetite. For lunch and dinner, indulge in favorites like the gringo burrito smothered in queso or sizzling parrilladas.
The food here is outstanding! No…it’s not your cookie cutter Tex-Mex but rather Mexican food. It’s a simple cafe that serves outstanding food at really fair prices. Nothing fancy, but clean and delicious! If you’re looking for a dining “experience” there’s plenty other options out there with food that’s not nearly as good.

came in the drive thru my food came upside down with a side of greasy utensils and tortillas. called them and all they said was “okay” they obviously don’t care about their customer service. *EDIT* i can’t figure out how to respond directly. this happened yesterday 2/7/24 around 10am or almost exactly at 10am. i did not get my receipt but i can tell you who took my order and who brought me my food, as well as what i ordered.
Angelina G — Google review
The only reason I’m giving this place 1 star is because I can’t give 0. The server didn’t even bother coming to our table until 30 minutes later, and that was only after I asked for service. The environment does give off good Mexican vibes, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The service was absolutely terrible and the food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the time or money.
Francisco G — Google review
Only recommended if like your fried talapia hard to chew, along with the quaint odor of a sewer. I sat by the kitchen doorway, but had to keep asking myself: “ What’s that odor?”. Then I realized it was sewage. You can smell the men’s toilet in the dining area if you take a deep breath. I ordered the fried talapia. It came out hard as a brick. The bartender chased me away from the bar by urging probably a regular to take the line seat. I deferred and passed on the margaritas. You should pass on this place.

This is one of my all time favorite Mexican restaurants in Texas. I do not live near Waco but when around the area I make sure to stop. Food is absolutely amazing! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner have never disappointed! The location is a little rough but don’t let that deter you at all!

Update 1/25/23- So we’ve been here a handful of times and we usually love the service and food but tonight was different. We’ve been dieting since the new year but decided to go out to dinner since it was my mother in laws Birthday. She wanted Mexican and we all thought of Ranchito at the same time. This was our first cheat meal in over 3 weeks and it honestly couldn’t have been more disappointing. Ratings are as below- The service 2/5: Our waitress had a large table to serve all night along with our table. Understandably she spent more time with her larger group that us with our table of food. She got our orders and drinks and then we didn’t see her again until our food came out. She would just hover and wait around until someone in her larger group needed something. We wanted new chips (the majority of the ones we had left were literally soggy and flimsy due to being drenched in oil), refills, and possibly order some queso but she never showed up. We finally had to ask a different waitress about our chips, salsa, and refills. The food 1/5: If I could do 0 stars I would for this. First time eating out in 3 weeks and I really wanted some Chicken Flautas. So I ordered those and had high hopes. Then our chips and salsa came out. The chips were stale, soggy, and cooked in old oil (you can taste and smell it when it’s old). So this made me worry my flautas would taste similarly. When they arrived, not only did they taste like that old oil, they were completely over fried, oily, and dry with ZERO flavor. I could only taste the oil. My beans were dry. The rice was dry and old tasting. The best thing I ate was the avocado and sour cream. Everyone else at the table wasn’t too impressed with their food but it was edible. Cleanliness: 3/5: Not bad but the tables were sticky and gross when we got there. My menu had left over dried up food on it. Overall the food and service made me had to rate this a 1 tonight. Please do better. We may try y’all again but this hurt your reputation in our eyes and could be hard to recover from. We have a lot of other Mexican food places around that we can go instead of here. Old review- This place is awesome for Mexican food. Super friendly staff, cold beer, and really tasty salsa and chips. Their tall beer arrives in a chilled metal mug which helps keep you beer cold. The chips are thicker than most tortilla chips so it dips really well. And the salsa is chunky but not too chunky. I ordered the chipotle chicken. It was delicious. Fresh avocado, some jalapeños, cheese, a hefty sized chicken breast, and covered with cheese with rice and beans on the side. The chipotle seasoning and sauce was delicious. I wish it were more spicy but I added some extra jalapeños which helped me with that spice craving. The taco salad was good too. The taco was more like a puffy taco which was pretty cool. Fresh ingredients and a nice gob of cool sour cream. I recommend this place to get your Mexican food craving satisfied.

From our appetizers to all of our four entrées, everything was so delicious. We even tried their mango margarita and it was very well made. The only thing to complain about is the AC could’ve worked a little better. But this would definitely be a place I go back to

Torchy's Tacos is a popular local chain known for its inventive Mexican-street-food-style tacos, including options for breakfast. Originally gaining attention for their deep-fried avocados, the restaurant has expanded its menu to offer a wide variety of taco flavors from across the country. With 15 different flavors available in Waco alone, featuring ingredients like catfish from Alabama and green chile pork from Arizona, along with Texas brisket, there's something to satisfy every craving.
Great food! The tacos are loaded up with delicious meats and toppings… I had the Republican, the Democrat, and the Trailer park. First two were exceptional, Torchy’s may singlehandedly solve America’s divided political climate with 2 tacos. 5 stars!

Great Taco spot! The service is swift and personal. Minimalist gothic style with nice bar. If you want some good Tacos, I recommend!

Food was great , flavorful and good portion size - family friendly environment and plenty of space . The lemon lime margarita special was 10/10 - bartender /server guy was super helpful with recommendations and he also made a good drink - we will be coming back

OMG y'all ROCK!!!! Walked to your restaurant after visiting the #silobration at Magnolia... fast service, super tasty food. Tasty in fact, Hubby orders a few to- go's. We opted to sit outdoors and that was comfy cozy.

Kristian is the absolute best bartender I've had the pleasure to meet and see in yrs. He makes some of the most amazing "knock you socks" drinks I've ever had in my life!! Wow!!! Tonight he had me a Caramel Apple Cocktail". Wow....Best damn drink freaking ever!!! Amazing...OMG!!! Come meet and see him for yourself. You won't regret it!!

First of all the lady at the cash register was rude and we had to tell her 3 x’s what we wanted! My 2 kids chicken tacos were suppose to have corn tortillas and it had flour! The corn was not as good as usual and it was too expensive for 2 kids tacos, 2 small 1/2 size corn and 2 drinks! It was 30 dollars!!! Are you freaking kidding me! Won’t be back!
Gaby K — Google review
30 dollars for 4 tacos that when I get home tacos looked like straight dog food I was very disappointed in this because me and my fiancé thought they would be good considering how expensive and packed they are but I wasn’t able to even feed my child last night because everything I order for her looked like dog food. SMH they need to lower prices on this place or at least give better food service! I would have rather eaten Taco Bell if I would’ve known.

Torchys Tacos did not disappoint!! I tasted the Brushfire and the Tipsy chicken tacos. Both were packed with flavor and a kickstart heat. It was so delicious. I topped them off with two sauces which included the Diablo and the Bacon Bourbon marmalade. The bacon marmalade had me shaking my head because I wanted to lick the cup. Overall, the experience was very relaxed and I definitely enjoyed the meal. I will most certainly return to eat some Damn Good tacos as their sign proudly displays.

Collin Street Bakery, located just north of Waco, is a renowned family-owned bakery that has been serving high-quality baked goods since 1896. Their signature pastry, the DeLuxe Fruitcake, has earned them a great reputation over the years. In addition to their award-winning fruitcakes and cookies, they offer an array of donuts and a cafe menu featuring southern classics like chicken salad and Texas chili.
Found this place on a vacation adventure. It was very quiet during the week and during work hours. They also had so many icebox cookies that all were so delicious. I can't wait to go again.

Went here because we were told they sold macarons, but they dont, they sell macaroons. Anyway, we got some delicious sweets from the bakery and a turkey, bacon, ranch sandwich. That sandwich was amazing. The bread was soft and the ingredients were fresh. Would definitely recommend that sandwich. Service was mid at best, that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I don’t leave reviews but this is more directed towards management. Patricia took my order with a super snappy attitude (I got two pastry’s from the display case and ordered a sandwich to sit down) when she rang me up she threw the receipt and walked away? Other people had numbers to put on their table to show they were waiting on food and I didn’t get one. She also went back to what she was doing and didn’t give me my pastries. I was confused and went to get my drink. About 10 minutes later of waiting I went back to the register and was helped by Janet (who was wonderful) and she told me I was SUPPOSED to get my pasties when I placed my order as well as a number for my food. She gave me an extra macaroon for the inconvenience and had to take my ticket directly to the kitchen to have my food made. Really disappointed that my first time here I was immediately dismissed at the register, had Janet not been kind enough to help me, I’d still be waiting. I was told Patricia was one of the managers at the location? I don’t understand how someone with that bad of an attitude is up front helping customers. DONT work in customer service if you DONT like your job!

Common Grounds Waco is a popular coffee shop known for its welcoming atmosphere and rustic decor, making it a favorite spot among college students. For the past two decades, this establishment has been a go-to destination for students, professionals, and families to socialize, study, and enjoy great coffee. The menu features tempting signature beverages like Cowboy Coffee and Nervous Breakdown. Additionally, the venue hosts live music performances that add to its charm.
The staff is very try friendly and very helpful. Very nice and pleasant to deal with. The Mocha is literally best I’ve ever had in my life. For someone who like their coffee to have a kick the large has 4 shots of expresso in it which is right up my alley. I would recommend this for anyone. It is a nice little coffee shop. They also have a drive through as well. There is a nice back area with stage for music.

Cute little coffee shop. Lots of quiet places to work or do school. Outdoor area is cool with lots of seating also. I got an iced latte "caramel coffee crunch" with oat milk and it was good. Their signature sauce flavor is nice and not too sweet! Next time I'll take my purse with me to get my order so I can grab a bottle for $10.

The Olive Branch is a popular spot in Waco, known for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious American breakfast and lunch options. The lofted dining room is a favorite among locals, especially during the weekends when they flock to enjoy brunch specials like eggs sardou, breakfast skillets, chicken biscuit sandwiches, pastas, and salads. The restaurant also offers affordable carafes of mimosas to complement the hearty fare.
Never been here before but heard good things. First of all I was greeted at the door with a smile which is rare these days. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Quick service too. My server Tori was awesome in recommending food and very knowledgeable about the dishes. One of the owners asked of if I was being cared for, she was also sweet. Food was definitely delicious and it was plentiful. I ordered the steak and eggs with potatoes. The chimichurri sauce was a perfect addition. Steak chunks were tender!

We went for the first time on Mother's Day. Plenty of parking, and it looked great. Lots of seating as you wait for your table. We were told 45 minutes for the wait, which was fine for that day. We were seated within 30 minutes. I will say they have a poor choice in chairs, very uncomfortable. Our waiter did a poor job, we were pretty sure he was new, so we weren't too upset. The food, however, was delicious. My husband had the brisket bowl (I can't remember the name) and I had the shrimp and grits. I was getting lots of gumbo vibes from the grits but the sausage was sweeter than I was expecting. We definitely plan on coming back!

friendly service and delicious food today! i had the brisket skillet (pictured) and my husband had the shrimp and grits which he really enjoyed. wait time can tend to be longish but so worth it - it’s likely because people know this is one of the best places in waco to eat! we will be back again!

Customer service was great but the food was just okay. We really enjoyed the biscuits and variety of fruit spreads they provided, however the main dishes that we chose were not impressive.
Big M — Google review
Let me just start by saying this—if The Olive Branch gets five stars from me today, it’s not because they dazzled me with their cinnamon sugar wizardry or blew my mind with an avant-garde avocado toast arrangement. No. This five-star rating rides on the back of one person: Tatiana. More on her in a second. Let’s rewind. I walked in thinking I might go full throttle—house-smoked brisket burrito, big breakfast energy, maybe even add some sweet on the side. But something told me to keep it lighter. And I’m glad I did. Because while the menu leans Texas-sized, my stomach was whispering minimalist gospel this morning. The Order: • Avocado Toast – Smashed avocado layered on wheat toast, topped with sunny-side up eggs, marinated tomatoes, microgreens, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. • Cinnamon Biscuit Bites – Fried biscuit chunks, cinnamon sugar, vanilla glaze. • Coffee – Straightforward, dark, and hot. • Orange Juice – A full glass, and then some. Let’s talk flavor. The avocado toast was clean, thoughtful, and well-balanced. The eggs were cooked just right, the yolks warm and golden. The tomatoes popped with acidity. The glaze added that sweet-tangy lift, and the microgreens? That’s where the dish showed some class. Nothing overcomplicated, just intentional. The kind of plate that lets your senses stretch slowly into the day. Now, the cinnamon biscuit bites? Beautiful to look at. Honestly, they should hang this skillet on the wall as art. But one bite in, and I knew I was in trouble. It was like being hugged by a sugar-coated sumo wrestler. Way too much. Way too sweet. I expected a nibble situation—something like four to six bites. Instead, they brought out a cast iron cauldron of dessert. I ordered it, so that’s on me. But no human should face that much glaze without a support group. The coffee hit the mark. Nothing fancy, no third-wave pretension—just a solid cup of comfort. I needed that balance after fighting the sugar avalanche. As for the juice—let’s just say I ordered a drink and got a whole orchard. Fresh, cold, good… and way more than I wanted. Waco does not play about portions. Atmosphere? Rustic-meets-industrial. Spacious. Clean lines. Brick and wood. Soft lighting. TVs in the back if you need some casual noise. Plenty of elbow room, which is rare and welcome. But none of that—none of it—would have stuck in my memory without Tatiana. She didn’t just show up with a smile. She arrived. Introduced herself. Warm, polite, completely unforced. The kind of presence that makes you feel human again in a world full of transactional interactions. I’ve had $200 meals in big cities that didn’t come with service that kind. She didn’t hover, didn’t rush, just existed in that perfect sweet spot of attentiveness and space. That’s why I’m giving five stars. If Tatiana hadn’t been there? Four. Easy. The cinnamon bites alone would’ve knocked a star off. That’s not a breakfast item—that’s a wedding cake’s evil cousin. But Tatiana raised the curve. She was the curve. So here it is: The Olive Branch isn’t perfect. The portions are big enough to scare a lumberjack. The sweet options could use a tone-down. And Waco, as a whole, seems to believe every breakfast should feed a family of four. But if you’re lucky enough to get Tatiana as your server, that meal’s going to hit different. It’s going to feel like it matters. And that’s worth five stars.

We first met The Olive Branch at an on-campus event, and the food was so good we just had to track it down. Our second date, however, was a bit of a marathon. Our weekend lunch party of three was seated right away, which was a great start! But then, we played the waiting game. It took 15 minutes to get menus, and then almost 50 more for our plates to finally make an appearance. Thankfully, the sandwiches and fries were hot and delicious. The salad, on the other hand, was an unremarkable third wheel.

Leah and her team at Olive Branch are AAMAZING! We used them to cater my daughter's wedding this past weekend and I could not have asked for better service and food! And the food.... oh my, SO GOOD! Stopped in for brunch and it was fantastic. I had the Farmers Hash and it hit the spot. I noticed so many other dishes being served around me that I would love to come back and try, too. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a popular chain restaurant known for its American comfort food and on-site general store. With locations across Texas and the country, it offers generous portions and affordable brunch options. The new Cracker Barrel in West Wichita is set to open soon, featuring a spacious 10,000-square-foot area with seating for 180 and a charming front porch.
We walked in at 8:56 p.m. and asked if they could still serve us. The waiter/host said they would be happy to. He seated us, had our drinks and cornbread on the table immediately. After ordering, our food came in 2 minutes. His attention and service was amazing. Strawberry blondish hair--I hope he gets a big bonus!

We love Cracker Barrel, but this was a bad experience. We went for dinner about 5:00 p.m. and our food looked and tasted like it was old reheated food. The Hasbrown Casserole was rubbery and burnt and the Chicken Fried Chicken was the same. The chicken was so tough and rubbery, it couldn't be cut with a knife. We honestly love Cracker Barrel, but this one was a FAIL.

My family and I come here often, as it is a favorite of my son. We came tonight around 6:45, and after a few not so great visits over the last few months, we decided we will not be returning. Our waitress, I wish I had caught her name, was awful. My husband & son ordered traditional pancake meals, & I ordered chicken & dumplings, after waiting for 15 minutes, she told us that she checked on our food, & it’s almost done. We waited another 15 minutes, couldn’t find her anywhere, & then finally she brought out our food. At this time, we were literally her only table, & she had spent the first half of our visit, sweeping up her section all around us. When we got the food, my husband’s bacon was practically raw. I mean, my jaw dropped at the fact that not only did a cook think it was acceptable to serve that, but that a waitress would also think it was acceptable to bring it out! I told my husband to send it back, but he didn’t want to prolong the evening. When she brought our food, she finally asked us if we wanted any biscuits or cornbread to which I replied, both. Mind you, she let us sit there for 30 minutes without offering it to us while we were waiting on food. Then she comes back & says that they’re out of cornbread. I let my husband & son finish their meals quickly & I took mine to go, because I had to get out of there. When we were leaving, we saw her outside chit chatting up against the dumpsters with 3 male coworkers, & at this point, she had other tables in her section. Not sure why a waitress would ever need to be out at the dumpsters when she has customers. Like I said, I really wish I would’ve gotten her name, or had seen a manager on our way out, because she needs to be held accountable!

4 of us. Waitress was pleasant. The food was mostly good. The server had to heat up our soup because the kitchen messed up. We waited about 8 minutes for everyone to get their food after members our party had already been given their food. Since we're a group of people that doesn't eat until everyone has their order this caused all of our orders to be less than hot. Would we be back? Probably Will we consider going elsewhere because of coldish food? Yes
Autumn O — Google review
Food at The Cracker Barrel used to be really good. It seams that they have made several food prep changes for the worse. What used to be a weekly visit for us, may get one more visit before we scratch it completely. The green beans had no taste at all. I have heard that they are now microwaving them after 4pm. The baby carrots had very little taste. They used to be my favorite. The lemon pepper trout was about 1/8 inch thick and super flat. I'm glad our location hasn't changed the atmosphere. When that happens, it will for certain be scratched.

We initially arrived at 10:30, were advised lunch would start at 11:00, so we left and came back. We were sat immediately, but waited at least 15 minutes to be greeted by a server that was not assigned to our area because our server “was in the back doing something “. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Quite some time later, we received our starter but couldn’t finish it because we ran out of tea. After our food arrived, we were disappointed in the quality. We are so accustomed to Cracker Barrel being top notch; may not go back to that location.

Harvest on 25th is a very nice brunch place in Waco! The food was really good and we loved their sweet/savory options. The service was really nice but it does take a bit for the food to come to our table (it was really busy so it makes sense). The atmosphere was also very nice and pleasant. Overall, I’d definitely recommend coming here when in Waco!

This was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered the margherita pizza which was pretty flavorful but a little lacking and I also got the Pesto chicken Sammie sandwich with sweet potato fries. This sandwich was very disappointing to say the least. Good idea but poorly executed I would say. The chicken was super dry and the sandwich overall was very dry, could have used more of some sauce that added moisture. Did not finish sandwich and for $16 I would have expected more flavor. The sweet potato fries were super charred and was a bit too charred for me, even though I do like certain foods cooked this way. Not sure I would return to try again. Very disappointing for my first visit. UPDATE: Really appreciate Harvest responding so quickly and refunding the cost of my sandwich. Might give them a second chance to stop by just for the prompt follow up.

Tried this place while driving through town and it was good for the most part. I had the Mushroom and Zucchini omelette which surprisingly was delicious. The sauce they used was different and elevated the taste of the omelette. I also had the pancakes which I felt were pretty basic and a bit dry. Overall experience was good.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the falafel salad (vegan). Good meal. The ordering process was simple: place your order, receive a ticket, find your table, and set the ticket down kinda of smooth and straightforward Parking can be a bit tricky, especially during peak hours or if 25th Street is busy. I asked if it was okay to park next door and they kindly approved it The customer service was wonderful, friendly and helpful throughout

Restraint Be Damned — That Chocolate Cake Changed Everything. Brazos Bar & Bistro | Review I walked in expecting elegance—expecting restraint. I imagined small plates, refined flavors, and a slow dance of taste that knew exactly when to whisper and when to roar. For a moment, I thought I was right. The space? Slick. Airy. Like it knew what it was doing. Then came the avalanche. Let me take you through it. ⸻ Cocktail – Cowboy Manhattan A measured pour served in a chilled martini glass, punctuated by a mysterious black cherry (or was it an olive?). Not bad, but not memorable. The drink didn’t carry the weight of its name—it leaned more polite than rugged. But it got the job done. 3/5 ⸻ Starter – Stuffed Avocado This was the sleeper hit. Creamy Hass avocado, warm adobo chicken, cool pico, queso fresco—it was balanced. Flavorful. A textural masterpiece. The only mistake? It was built like an entrée. If I’d finished it, I wouldn’t have had room for the rest. As an appetizer, it was too much of a good thing. But still, 4.5/5 for flavor and surprise alone. ⸻ Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts Overcooked, oversauced, overwhelmed. It looked like the sprouts had been roasted, forgotten, then hastily rescued with a bath of sticky, cloying sauce. It didn’t cling—it drowned. There was no charred snap, no fresh nuttiness from the peanuts. Just heat and heaviness. 1.5/5 ⸻ Entrée – Bourbon Peach Chops Two giant pork chops—two—slathered with a handful of peach slices. Not sauce. Peaches. It looked more like Sunday supper for a group of six than a thoughtful plated dish. The garlic parmesan potatoes were a mystery lump in the middle, mistaken at first glance for a third chop. Over-portioned to the point of parody. Zero elegance. 2/5 ⸻ Redemption – The Chocolate Cake And just when I was ready to walk out with a clean-cut 3-star, in came the miracle. This cake didn’t ask for forgiveness. It demanded silence. A thick, moist brick of deep, dark chocolate, draped in glossy ganache, and topped with delicate shards—almost like cocoa glass. Every bite was rich but not cloying, bold but balanced. It didn’t just redeem the meal—it transcended it. This cake didn’t save the day—it became the day. 5/5. Easily. ⸻ Final Verdict: 4 Stars (Raised by Chocolate Grace) This place fumbled the promise of fine dining with oversized portions and careless presentation—but damn if that chocolate cake didn’t pull it from the fire. That and the avocado made the experience worth it—even if I had to dig through a mess to find the gold. Come for the cake. Stay for the avocado. Bring a friend to split everything else. Bon Appétit.

Located inside the hotel, it’s not a standalone restaurant. Service was great, seating was comfortable and he explained things on the menu we didn’t understand as a first time guest. The pork chops are AMAZING! They deserve five stars on their own. We went around 4pm and there was no big crowd which we preferred.

Pizza. Wings. Beer. And salads lol local craft beer as well as regional and your typical domestics. Slices of pizza are pretty large, a whole pizza comes in 2 sizes and can feed 3 adults (14")or 5 adults (20"). Location is incredible. On the ride, a deck that overhangs the river....absolutely fabulous location 🔥 you're almost a fool to NOT come here!

I wanted to go and have a nice steak and a great time. For starters, it was a nice bar and restaurant, I did my research and it was listed as a top ten places to eat in Waco. I would have to disagree. If you want to go and have a nice drink for a high price, this would be right up your alley. The drinks were good, don’t get me wrong, but that would be the only good thing about this place. We ordered the humus as a starter and it was pretty good. Their drink menu was pretty good, i will say that their blueberry mojito, strawberry summer and their margarita was top notch. We then ordered the potato gnocchi and I was in the mood for a steak, DO NOT go for their steak, you will be disappointed. The staff was friendly but when you ask for a steak medium well and extra seasoning and it comes out looking like they heated it up in the microwave and forgot to season it, well you’re getting a horrible steak, not even worthy of being called a steak. No lie, take a look for yourself…

We enjoyed avacado toast and Texas breakfast plate. Our plates were clean. It was busy, but the service was excellent. The night before, we also had a great experience at the bar. We will be back.

My family checked out Brazos Bar & Bistro for my Birthday. The ambiance was nice. Staff was attentive and food came out in a timely manner. For our starters we went with Green Chile Queso and Shishito Peppers. Both are great. My Barren of Mules was enjoyable and refreshing. My husband when with a stout from Barrow Brewing Co. As for our food both the Thunderbird sandwich and the J.R Ewing Burger tasted average. My husband was not asked how he would like his beef patty cooked so it was well-done. The flatbread was okay, nothing special about it. My Chicken Montelongo was very good. I would recommend it. And the Pork Belly Tacos was not appetizing at all. Everyone that tried it could not eat it. Thank goodness it came with a good amount of sides. Overall the ambiance itself is nice, staff is professional, and drinks are good. As for the food it is quite expensive with flavor comparative to any cheep of fast food restaurant. If you are staying at the hotel it may be a good option. But we will not be going out of our way to visit any time soon.

La Fiesta Restaurant & Cantina is a long-standing Mexican restaurant in Waco, known for its vibrant atmosphere and extensive menu featuring traditional and Tex-Mex dishes. Established by the Castillo family nearly 60 years ago, it has become a popular spot for generous portions of delicious food and festive decor, making it ideal for family outings and casual get-togethers.
La Fiesta is a fantastic spot for great food and a welcoming atmosphere! The colorful decor creates a fun and lively setting, and the staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. The menu is well-organized, with clearly marked gluten-free options, making it easy to find something for everyone. I had the fajita chicken salad, which was both very filling and very good. The flavors were fresh, and the portion was generous. The house salsa is also a standout—just the right amount of heat to be satisfying without overwhelming those who prefer milder spice. The large bar adds to the inviting environment, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, La Fiesta delivers on food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Tonight was our first time here and this place is a gold mine. From the initial chips and salsa to the service (our server was Ciera and she took such good care of us), to the special of the day (we both had the chicken enchiladas) everything was so good. Food was hot and fresh and delicious. The beans were so good and the flour tortillas were 🤌. We will 100% absolutely be back.

We enjoy the chicken fajita enchiladas so much. And the birria tacos stay moist and juicy if you don't eat them the day you order them. The salsa is always a little disappointing surprisingly. It always tastes a little rancid somehow. Not my favorite. Everything else is always on point though, and I don't think they've ever messed up my delivery order. Thanks for being on DoorDash! What a God send!

I did not like this restaurant. The tortilla soup was served luke warm and was mostly onion. I was also not a fan of the chips or my margarita. I ordered the skinny and it had a 'fake' flavor. The vibe was like the old Isle of Capri casino meets country.

Grew up in Texas. I've been to a million Mexican restaurants. This was the best Mexican food I've ever had. My family agreed. You know the flavorless refried beans that usually come as a side? We were fighting over my son's until he finally tasted it and told us he was going to eat it. That's never happened before. I thought the chili relleno was kind of weird. There was almost a roll around the outside. Way too much bread, like a loaf of bread, bread. I just didn't eat all the bread. Anyway 10 stars out of five! Don't miss this place!
Feather D — Google review
The food was good and the flavor was plentiful. Service was ok. Forgot the queso then brought yellow instead of white. The street taco, beans and rice were very flavorful. The quesidilla Birria was full of meat but I thought light on cheese. The sour cream, pico and quac were great flavor additions. Overall it was a good tex Mex meal and we both left full.

Heritage Creamery is a beloved ice cream and cookie shop in Waco, Texas, known for its locally sourced ingredients and homemade treats. Founded by Blake and Kimberly, who are Baylor graduates and prioritize using natural ingredients without additives or preservatives. Situated near Baylor University campus and downtown Waco, it's a popular spot to grab a refreshing treat during the hot Texas summers. Their signature flavors like Duck Fat Caramel and Cowboy Coffee are not to be missed!
The ice cream selection is fantastic. Also one of the best waffle bowls that I've had in a long time. I had the banana foster. Great pit stop if you are driving to or from Austin, Dallas.

I’ve visited here a few times over the past several years. It’s a fairly nice experience, it’s a unique place and not a franchise which is the very reason for me to visit. As I drove up the dark street I thought maybe the place had gone out of business. The vintage ice cream truck parked on the street sat like an abandoned ship in dry-dock, with all manner of dirt, leaves and debris piled around. It seems the street-sweepers simply drive around the edges of this eyesore. All-the-while shoving more crap under around the resting hulk. It is, apparently, a vehicle parked on a public street with an expired, 2012 registration sticker. Waco is a wonderfully forgiving town. The ice cream is good, but 4 flavors were “out”. This was surprising since it was a Thursday evening and Baylor University is on Christmas break. No students around to scarf up all the goodies. As I sat leisurely enjoying two scoops in a freshly-made and quite delicious waffle cone, I noticed the dilapidated look about the place. Several large water stains on the ceiling, many burned out light bulbs, etc. The most remarkable feature was the astonishing collection of cobwebs about the place. I think that the last time a dust-broom has been here was opening day in March 2016. I WAS taken by the length-of-service of the light bulbs above the service bar. They burn nicely and CLEARLY haven’t been touched in an impressively long time. Must be LEDs. Smart choice.

Absolutely loved this ice cream shop! The vintage interior gives it such a unique and charming vibe—like stepping back in time. The ice cream flavors are creative and delicious, and the freshly prepared waffle cones take everything to the next level. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Sourced from milk-king dairy in McGregor, this independent creamery is true to using local ingredients… and the taste shows. They offer pint size tubs of various flavors for $9. While their ice cream is more expensive, it is worth a try. We enjoyed their butter pecan and their coffee flavor is a good pick too.

Cupp's Drive Inn is a family-owned diner that has been a neighborhood staple since 1947. It offers classic burgers, hand-cut fries, and other nostalgic comfort foods. Even Elvis Presley frequented this spot during his time at Fort Hood, often indulging in their double cheeseburgers with bacon. The restaurant prides itself on serving fresh daily-made burgers, including classic options and chili cheeseburgers.
Cupp’s Drive-In – A Waco Icon That’s Stood the Test of Time If you find yourself in Waco, Texas, and you’re craving a true, old-school burger experience, there’s one place that locals and travelers alike will tell you to visit: Cupp’s Drive-In. This South Waco staple has been serving up fresh, no-frills, made-to-order burgers and hand-cut fries since 1947, and it remains one of the most beloved burger joints in the city. The Atmosphere: A Step Back in Time Walking into Cupp’s feels like stepping into a classic American diner from decades past. There’s no fancy digital menu or trendy decor—just a handwritten menu on the wall, stacks of classic plates, and a well-worn griddle that’s seen generations of burger lovers. It’s a small, cozy space with a laid-back, friendly vibe. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet Sherry, one of the co-owners, who makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. She and her brother (I believe they run the place together—don’t quote me on that!) keep the tradition alive with their warm hospitality and no-nonsense approach to good food. You can dine inside, but part of the charm is eating in your car, just like the old days. If you prefer to sit outside, they’ve got tables under a canopy, making it a perfect pit stop whether you’re a local or just passing through on I-35. The Food: Burgers Done Right Cupp’s keeps it simple, and that’s exactly why it’s legendary. Their burgers are everything you want in a classic Texas burger—grilled to perfection, juicy, and stacked with fresh toppings. The bun? Soft, slightly toasted, and just the right amount of buttery. The cheese melts beautifully over the patty, and the crisp lettuce and ripe tomatoes give it that fresh crunch that balances out the richness. And let’s talk about the fries—because these aren’t your standard, out-of-the-bag, frozen fries. These are hand-cut, golden, crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside fries that you can tell were made with care. They come served up in a paper-lined basket, just the way they should be. Why Cupp’s Is a Waco Institution Located just minutes from Baylor University, Cupp’s has been a go-to for students, locals, and even travelers making their way between Dallas and Austin. It’s also a favorite among visitors who come to Waco for Magnolia Market, proving that even in a city known for HGTV-famous attractions, an old-school burger joint still reigns supreme. This is the kind of place where time slows down, where food is made the way it should be, and where every bite takes you back to a time when burgers and fries weren’t just meals—they were experiences. Final Verdict: 5 Stars, No Question If you’re in Waco and you haven’t been to Cupp’s, you’re missing out. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s a piece of Waco history. Whether you’re a burger purist, a fry fanatic, or just looking for a no-nonsense, perfectly cooked meal, Cupp’s Drive-In delivers. Friendly people, unbeatable flavors, and an atmosphere that feels like home. Final Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must-Order: Cheeseburger and hand-cut fries Best Seat: Your car or a table under the canopy Vibe: Classic diner, no frills, all flavor Would I Go Back? In a heartbeat.

We found this place on google looking for a good burger in Waco and man we sure found it. They welcomed us in and made us feel like home. We had a stroller with us in this very small restaurant which is really not stroller accessible and they took time to make room for us to be seated comfortably. They Checked on us frequently and the food came out fast. Everything we had was delicious hot and fresh. The staff worked as a team to make sure everyone’s experience was enjoyable. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a small old school burger joint!

This is by far one of the best restaurants in the area. I have recently located to the area, and found this place. This is one of my hideaway places to go when I need a break. The staff is super friendly all the time and know you by name, food is absolutely the best made to order when you order it. NOTHING is pre made!! This place is always filled with friendly hungry people, who are the regulars.

Cups Drive Inn has made a lot of Waco history since 1929. This legendary diner is a Clean Plate Award recipient from KWTX-TV, the CBS television network affiliate for the Waco area. Many changes over the years have taken place, but still the owner and staff are committed to a truly great experience for customers. I like their hamburgers because the bun is toasted well, and the burger patty is seasoned and grilled until it is medium well to well done, but still is juicy and not dry. The quality of toppings like pickles and lettuce is also great. All food is made fresh and on an as ordered basis. Their French fries are made from fresh potatoes cut right in the restaurant, that are rinsed in water to wash them and remove starch. Then they are deep fried and prepared like Boardwalk style fries, which are not crispy fries, but have a fairly firm outer shell, and have a soft mashed potato like inside. They are then seasoned with their special French fry seasoning. This style of fries is my favorite. The portion of fries is a reasonable size as well, served in a paper lined basket. Sorry that I have no pictures of my order. I did include, as of this posting, the most recent menu for you to see ahead of time. Definately will be glad to return to Cups when I go to Waco again. You can get a burger and fries at a similar price to a Wendy's burger and fries, but get a better value at Cups Drive inn.
Wade's L — Google review
My husband and I stopped by and decided to get burgers and fries, and I couldn’t resist getting cheese fries too. The food was absolutely amazing, and it’s no surprise the place was packed when we got there and still buzzing when we left. My burger was so juicy and flavorful, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The only thing I’d say is the space felt a little tight with so many people inside, but that’s just a sign of how popular it is. We really enjoyed our meal, and if we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be back!
K K — Google review
The folks working there were friendly, helpful, and just plain nice people. Unfortunately, this did not compensate for the food or environment. There is a fine line between vintage and old, and cupps is in desperate need of an update inside (or at least a good scrub down). The patties are bought premade, and no seasoning is added. Cupp's, whizzbangs, and dubl-r are all very similar, and I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. Try Tom's Burgers, Burgertology, or even Health Camp.

Cajun Craft is a laid-back eatery located near downtown Waco and Baylor University, offering a blend of Cajun classics and Vietnamese-inspired dishes. The restaurant's owner, Kimberly Bui, infuses her Vietnamese heritage into the menu to create a unique Viet-Cajun culinary experience. In addition to traditional Cajun fare like crawfish and fried chicken, the restaurant also serves authentic Vietnamese items such as pho noodles, fried spring rolls, and rice noodle bowls.
**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars All Around!** From the moment we stepped through the doors of *Cajun Craft*, we were welcomed with the kind of warm, genuine southern hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and charming, creating an inviting atmosphere that’s both clean and stylish—modern with just the right touch of country chic. Honestly, there's not a bad seat in the house. Now let’s talk about the food—because wow. Everything is made fresh and tastes just like a home-cooked meal in the absolute best way. You can truly tell each dish is made with care and love. I ordered the **shrimp basket**, and it did *not* disappoint. The shrimp were jumbo-sized, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. The basket came with **the best fries I’ve ever had** and delicious hush puppies that were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I also got a side of **red beans and rice**, which looked almost too pretty to eat and tasted just as amazing as it looked. My friend had the **fried catfish basket**, which came with the same golden fries and hush puppies, and he also ordered a side of **fried chicken**. Let me tell you—his first bite was movie-worthy. It was so crunchy and crispy you could *hear* the perfection. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the consistency across all the dishes really shows how much pride they take in their cooking. But what really sets Cajun Craft apart is the **customer service**. The entire staff was attentive and kind, and one sweet employee even gifted my 1-year-old a little pack of toy cars—completely unexpected, but incredibly thoughtful. If you haven’t tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and go. I’m officially hooked and can honestly say *Cajun Craft* is now the only place I want to buy my seafood from.

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but surprisingly nice inside and has a welcoming atmosphere. I love the outdoor seating option and the food looks great. My only complaint would be the pricing, but then, who knows what it's costing them to operate in today's market. I ordered the seafood platter fish shrimp & oysters( I requested to substitute the oysters, so the doubled the shrimp) with 2 sides of red beans and rice. I almost left without looking, I'm glad I didn't. I had to order an extra piece of fish ($5) and cocktail/tarter sauce.(,50¢ each) I came in with 40.00 and I'm leaving with $2.85. this seems a bit high for the portions given. Aside from this , I think it's a great place.

Fuego Tortilla Grill, located in Waco near Baylor University, is one of three Texas locations. Despite its unassuming appearance, it offers a unique dining experience with a drive-through. The restaurant caters to college students with its long operating hours and diverse menu. Customers can enjoy flavorful dishes like chicken and waffles or rotisserie chicken tortilla soup. Additionally, the establishment boasts a salsa bar and an impressive selection of Stubborn soda flavors.
If you’re on the hunt for tacos that could double as a small child’s pillow, look no further than Fuego Tacos! Our waitress, Jerida, was a taco whisperer, guiding us through a menu that felt like a flavor adventure. We kicked things off with chips and queso that could make even the most loyal cheese lover swoon. Then we tackled some serious taco giants: The King was a meat-lover's dream, while the Hippie brought a refreshing crunch that felt like a garden party in your mouth. Sweet Caroline had just the right amount of sweetness, and Good Golly Miss Holly? Let’s just say it was a flavor bomb that left us smiling. The Dr Pepper Cowboy was a zesty twist that packed a punch you didn't see coming. With portions this generous, you’ll definitely leave satisfied—and maybe even with a taco to-go. Forget Torchy’s; Fuego Tacos is where it’s at! 🌮🔥

We came here for breakfast and it’s been a while since I’ve had Fuego. I forgot how large the tacos are! Do not underestimate these. Yes some of them are six dollars but with that being said, you truly only need one and two if you are starving. Tacos are very unique. I would definitely recommend the Dr Pepper cowboy.

I've been coming here for years. This one and the one in San Marcos. I know the one here in Waco has gone through some changes over the years. I always get the same thing when I come here so the major changes I've seen were the juices they offer and the salsa. The salsa here used to be amazing now it seems they've downgraded to something cheaper. Also, there used to be... like adult-sized juices sold here. Apple, orange etc in bottles that were like 16 ounces. This time when I came, the lady handed me these little 10 ounce kid-sized drinks and I was really disappointed. Who ever managing this should be ashamed. You had a good product, stop downgrading.
Robert R — Google review
Food was great. Highlight of the experience. The Fuego steak taco was super delicious and probably one of the best tacos I've ever had. The issue is that it took almost an hour to get our food. It may have been an off day, or it was crowded, but on a Friday night in a college town, it seemed understaffed. The service was less than ideal. Staff is friendly and welcoming. But they fail to see small details. Both soda machines did not have any ice, some of the sodas did not dispense and were out, and some tables were not cleaned. And they delieved the wrong food or were unfamiliar with the menu item being delivered. Atmosphere was fine. It's like a Chipotle, or any other counter service restaurant.

Food tasted so good!! A bit expensive, but what tacos aren’t? Lol Definitely would recommend!! Inside wasn’t super clean but not terrible either.

I am not one to leave reviews for fast food or ever really complain about fast food service BUT…. Potato, egg, and cheese taco….. I came back because they forgot to add cheese and THIS is what they handed me in my bag. When I pulled back around for the THIRD time, I asked to speak to a manager because…??? Are you serious??? Like does my worst enemy work here?? Turns out - it was the MANAGER who told the girl to hand that back to me. This type of carelessness is just unacceptable and could potentially end up sending a customer to the hospital. I was literally in disbelief. Also no one ever goes to fuego and gets their order 100% correct. Most of the time when I ask for EASY EGG, I get a taco full of egg. It’s fast food - not rocket science 😭 Yall need to vet & train your staff way better.

I waited over 20 minutes in line with only 3 cars ahead of me... Just to get to the window for them to tell me they didn't have what I ordered. I ordered 2 potato and egg tacos, which they said they had when I placed the order. The lady at the window didn't seem like she knew anything. And maybe it was her 1st day. This was 11 PM on Sunday night. This was an absolutely horrible experience. The lady kept shrugging her shoulders like she didn't know or didn't care at the window when I asked what the reason for all the problems were. Their night crew never seems to know what's going on.

Additionally, they take pre-orders for their gluten-free bread and also provide gluten-free cakes and cupcakes for special events.
The BEST bakery in Waco. Hands down the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. The scones, cookies and muffins are all delicious!! You can’t go wrong. Very gluten free friendly

Amazing baked goods rain or shine!! Their Seasonal Blueberry cinnamon rolls are my fav. But none is sweeter than the owner, Kim. She was one of the first to welcome us to Waco and always checks on us when we come to visit. Thank you, Kim, for the towel and umbrella during yesterday's storm! You really made our day. Thank you for the cinnamon rolls as always!

Whenever we visit Waco, we make time to visit this little gem of a bakery! Lovely and welcoming porch, and "the best cinnamon rolls in the world" (according to my husband and son). As someone who does not personally eat sweet things, I adore the quiche 😋 and the scones are amazing too; just the right amount of dryness, and so flavorful! Order ahead if you are in a hurry, because everything is prepared with care and love. Better yet, sit a spell and enjoy a coffee and conversation.

My husband and I stopped here as it has gluten-free options. I got the scone combo box, which included a large scone, baby scone, and I added a kolache for extra charge. All of which was gluten-free. So I was super excited about that as I'm NCGS. The mini scone, which I got orange cranberry, was amazing. The large scone was bacon cheddar. That one, I didn't care for too much as it was too thick for my liking. The kolache was small but very tasty. My husband got 2 regular kolaches(not gluten-free) he really liked their flavor, but they were small. It's a mom and pop kind of shop so that was cool. Wouldn't mind if I was back in the area going and trying their gluten free cupcakes or cookies.

Surprise find on a Saturday! Mini cinnamon rolls, mini ham kolaches were our picks. Then we took home scones, chocolate chip cookies and a blueberry muffin! Love it! In a unique location with patio seating. That serve lunch too so I will be back for that next!

The service was very personable. I enjoyed our visit as I learned about the uniqueness of how the cinnamon rolls were made with special ingredients. I absolutely recommend the amazing cinnamon rolls! They are a little pricey but worth every penny. Each roll is huge and should be shared by two or perhaps three people.. These rolls are even better when heated. I was given a small sample as I waited for my order to be boxed up. I could taste the butter, vanilla, special ingredient cinnamon and a hint of cream cheese. Mouthwatering delicious!! I plan to return to Baked Bliss to sit on the open air deck as I sip coffee and enjoy a different tasty treat. You should stop by, meet the friendly staff and treat yourself to deliciousness!

Kim was so sweet to me and my friend on our first visit here this morning - very personable and chatted with us displaying perfect customer service! She was so willing to explain how the gluten free goodies were made to make sure I felt comfortable before purchasing them as I have multiple food allergies. The gluten free cinnies were amazing and so flavorful - I will definitely be making this a regular spot!

Cinnamon Rolls 💣 Kolaches 🔥 Coffee ☕️ is not too bad. Great visit to this hidden gem for a morning sweet tooth. Great experience and wonderful staff and owners. Hands down the best grandma recipe cinnamon roll we ever had. The kolache was surprisingly large, and the breading was on point. A must stop next time we are in town.

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
Lolita's Restaurante is a charming Mexican eatery in Waco, known for its vibrant decor and delicious breakfast options. This family-owned restaurant has been serving comforting Mexican fare for over three decades, making it a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. The menu features classic breakfast tacos like bacon, egg & potato as well as hearty combos such as the Lo-carb Breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese.
Lolita’s is the best! Absolutely my favorite for breakfast. The tacos and breakfast plates are great. Portions are plentiful. They are frequently busy so there is sometimes a wait but the reward is worth it. The Migas gets high praise but I’m a big fan of the juevos rancheros. The breakfast tacos are my usual they offer them in the regular taco size and in a larger “elephante” size. Make sure you get the chips and salsa as well. Chip and salsa at breakfast? Of course! The chips are fresh and the salsa is a little warm (temperature) and has a great flavor. Lolita’s is also great for lunch whether you stick with breakfast favorite or you choose on of the combination plates or fajitas. I’m a big fan of the fajitas tacos. The shredded chicken tacos are a great choice as well. I wouldn’t be giving a full review if I didn’t mention their queso. It’s not your traditional Tex-mex queso and I mean that in a good way. It consist of their salsa with the same white cheese they use on their tacos melted into it. It’s wonderful and I have friends who would make a stop just for the queso. I’d also recommend the carne guisada. They have a Pepsi fountain machine as well as a cooler with coke products and drinks for kids. There is indoor seating as well as a front patio with a couple of picnic benches. Stop by, you’ll become a regular.

Lolita’s is a nice quiet place you walk in make your order at the counter and have a seat the Elephante Burrito I got was delicious but the tortillas were from a package which I didn’t like I like restaurants with homemade fresh tortillas and the salsa tasted like salsa you put on a Huevo rancheros some people liked it but I have had better
Pedro A — Google review
Beef fajita, beans, potatoes, onions and cheese. 2 large burritos for $19.49. Called my order in and waited in drive thru for 20+ minutes. There was only 3 cars in front of me when I arrived. I used to come here regularly but it's been awhile. Inflation is a B. This'll be the last visit for me. Just too small to justify the price hike.

Lolita’s Restaurante – Where the Migas Redeem the Mood You walk into Lolita’s and it’s like stepping into an old movie set where everyone already knows their lines—except you. The tables are open, the room’s got that lived-in charm—roosters on the wall, neon reflections in the window, a traffic light glowing for no reason but nostalgia—and yet, there’s no clear script for what you’re supposed to do. No “please seat yourself,” no greeter, no welcome. Just a quiet crowd hovering near the counter, like regulars at a bingo hall who already know the system. Eventually, by deduction and survival instinct, you figure it out: place your order at the counter. The guy back there has the look of someone who’s been making breakfast since the Reagan administration. No smile, no “What can I get you this morning?” Just… wait your turn, state your order, and hope for the best. I ordered the Migas plate and a Barbacoa taco. Coffee, too—eventually. There’s no mention of it being self-serve, but if you look around long enough and spot the carafe and the styrofoam cups, you’ll figure it out. It’s there in the corner with powdered creamer and a few weary stir sticks. The coffee? It gets the job done, but it’s not trying to win any awards. Think gas station energy without the nostalgia. Then comes the wait. You’re given a number, but there’s nowhere to put it—no table stand, no instructions. Just a small piece of paper you sort of toss next to the napkin holder and hope it makes sense to someone. Eventually a woman walks out from the back, calls out “Migas,” drops the plate on the table, and disappears like a ninja. No “How’s everything looking?” No “Can I get you anything else?” Just… Migas. Boom. Gone. But here’s the twist. The Migas were excellent. Eggs fluffy, tortilla chips still crisp, loaded with green peppers, onions, tomatoes. Bacon on the side. Refried beans. Potatoes. The whole thing was packed with flavor—comfort food with just enough of a kick to remind you why you came. It’s a big plate. Too big for one person, really—especially with only two tortillas. You’ll end up crafting two monster tacos and still have a pile of filling leftover. I wanted one more tortilla, but I knew if I walked up to that counter again, I might not return with my dignity intact. The Barbacoa taco? Let’s not talk about it. Greasy, chewy, and bland. Felt like filler—something they keep on the menu because they have to, not because they care to. The salsa was an afterthought. Lifeless. Like it gave up halfway through the recipe and just showed up for attendance. As for the vibe—well, it’s a place that doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. No customer service theater. No curated experience. Lolita’s has been around long enough to stop caring about Yelp stars or trendy ambiance. It’s a “we make the food, you figure out the rest” type of joint. And apparently, that’s good enough to keep people coming in every day. So here’s my verdict: • Service: 1 out of 5 (but not hostile, just indifferent) • Coffee: 2 out of 5 (bonus point for being hot) • Barbacoa taco: 1 out of 5 (wouldn’t recommend) • Salsa: 1 out of 5 (a shrug in sauce form) • Migas plate: 4.5 out of 5 (would return just for this) Overall: 3.5 stars A gruff, no-frills joint that survives on the strength of one dish—and maybe a loyal crowd that doesn’t mind being ignored. If you’re a first-timer, bring patience, humility, and maybe a spare tortilla. And don’t expect anyone to ask how your day’s going. But hey—if you’re hungry, and you’re willing to earn your breakfast the hard way—those migas are worth it.

We went for breakfast on July 5. I have not been back to Waco since the early 2000s and omg it was like walking back in time. It still looks and smells the same. And thank God it still tastes the same because it was so freaking good!!! If you call in your order you can go through the drive thru to pick it up. Otherwise you go inside and order at the counter. They will give you a number if you are dining in. They have a little cooler with milk and soda and then they have coffee and tea. They have cookies and sweets at the counter and it is worth getting a bag to bring home. The food is good and authentic. The tortillas have just the right amount of brown and crisp to them. The hot sauce is not from New York. The lady at the front taking orders chats like your best friend and lets all the kids ring the bell. The guy at the window looks like he should be a bouncer at a fancy nightclub but is funny as all get out. The regulars sit at their particular tables and smile when you come in. It's not a tourist trap. This is home.

Diasterous. Read the reviews which sounded good and got a recommendation …however…when we got there around 9: 30am on a Friday ,surprised there was hardly anyone there. We soon found out why. No one greeted us, no told us to go to the counter to order - nothing. Then the man behind the counter wouldn’t even look at us or acknowledge. We waited 7 minutes which is not long but there was no one else waiting. I tried to engage and he walked off to take care of people at the take out. We left.

Lolita's is a hidden gem. Simplicity is a symphony of perfection. Every bite of our food was a throwback to our grandmother's cooking. If you love true Mexican breakfast, this is home. The best part is they have not changed, the food quality is top notch, and glad to see they weathered the pandemic. Your taste buds will thank you..

Revival Eastside Eatery is a stylish dining spot housed in a former church, offering locally sourced burgers, salads, and sandwiches alongside a selection of wine and beer. The restaurant prides itself on its historic charm and Biblical-themed menu items such as the Old Pestoment sandwich and the Garden of Eating salad. Additionally, visitors can enjoy homemade aioli on Tuesdays through Fridays. For breakfast options, Street Dog Cafe offers scratch-made pastries and daily specials in a pet-friendly environment.
Stumbled upon this place while visiting Waco for the day. It was away from the popular market area, but worth the short drive. Service was amazing from the time we walked in, during the meal, and even on the way out. Server was very helpful in giving some recommendations. Everything on the menu sounded good. Ordered a burger, salad, and sweet potato fries. Food was just as good as the service. Burger was perfectly put together and plated. Bun was very soft and fresh. I definitely have to come back to try some of the other burgers, sandwiches, and salads.

This is a great find on the east side of Waco. I never knew there was so much happening over on that side of town. The eatery is beautifully set up and the food is amazing. Minus a few stars only because it does get very loud inside the restaurant. Either way I will recommend this to my friends and we will be back.

My son and I came here for lunch June 19th. Most of the seating was taken but we sat on the huge bar facing out the window. It was our first time here and was very pleasant. Fast service welcomed us, got our drinks and food. Food and pricing were great. This is a great spot and well worth eating here.

Place was packed and we waited less than 15 min for a table. The food we ordered took about 15 min to arrive, the servers were friendly and they had multiple people for refills. We ordered 2 custom burgers with veggie patty and one weight of glory (portobello mushroom burger) and technicolor dreamcoat sandwich (sweet potato and pickled beets filling) which were excellent. The food was good and the place was excellent to visit with friends.

Arrived about 1230 for a late lunch with a group. Ended up sitting at a hightop with six other men and started perusing the menu. Good selection and diverse offerings. Due to personal preferences, I went with a build your own burger and it came out perfectly. I had several refills of the house cola and the wait staff was attentive and responsive. The room was quite loud for a private conversation but in our group setting it worked ok. The place was full with several tables of our group sitting outside. Would recommend an early seating during lunch hour and I highly recommend the food. Everyone at our table was very complementary about the food. Kudos to the young lady clearing and cleaning tables, she was on point and focused, timely and turned them over promptly. Highly recommend for a visit if you are in the Waco area.

When we got there it was around 2pm on a Saturday. We had to wait if we did not want to sit outside, but I’m happy we waited it out because holy moly!! The food was so freaking good! Too bad we are not closer, but will not always be a stop when passing through from Houston!

The Holy Grail Is Real—and It’s Got Fries on the Side Revival Eastside Eatery | Waco, TX | 5 Stars They call it the Holy Grail, and after one bite, I understood why. This burger didn’t come to play—it came to preach. Juicy, flavorful, anchored by peppery arugula and creamy cheese, hugged between what I’m certain is a toasted brioche bun. Not too thick. Not too soft. Just enough to remind you: balance is holy. But the Holy Grail doesn’t walk alone. It comes with Holy Grail Fries, crisped at the edges, golden through the middle, salted just right. If I have one suggestion for Revival, it’s this: leave the ketchup packets to the drive-thrus. These fries deserve a ramekin. Dignify the dip. Now the dessert—this one surprised me. A mint chocolate chip mousse so light and airy, it nearly floated off the spoon. Drizzled with chocolate, sprinkled with Oreo crumbles, and topped with a mint Oreo, it was exactly the kind of portion and flavor a good meal deserves to end on. Sweet, cool, elegant, and restrained. My drink of choice: a chilled Maine Root soda, full-bodied and smooth. It paired with everything like it had rehearsed for the role. But this isn’t just about the food. Revival tells a story. Danielle and Travis Young didn’t grow up in restaurants. Danielle is a Baylor-educated clinical psychologist. Travis was in education. One night in 2017, they couldn’t find a local spot that was both fresh and soulful. So they asked a bold question: How hard could it be to open a restaurant? Hard. But they did it anyway. They found a long-abandoned church building on Elm Avenue and turned it into Revival. Not just in name, but in spirit. The menu leans into biblical wordplay—the Holy Grail burger, the Weight of Glory sandwich, the Technicolor Dreamcoat, the Garden of Eating salad. It’s cheeky, sure. But it’s also reverent. The inside is rustic-modern: exposed brick, real wood, soft light. It feels honest, grounded, and warm. Ordering is done at the table, with QR codes and friendly, present staff who seem genuinely glad to be there. It’s not performative. It’s personal. The outside patio is an open invitation—picnic tables under wide skies, next to a vibrant mural that welcomes you to East Waco like a hometown chorus. Revival didn’t just move in. It rooted. It respected the neighborhood, listened to the stories, and answered with presence. And that’s why this isn’t just another burger joint. It’s a declaration. Revival doesn’t beg for attention. It earns it—bite by bite, story by story. From the Golden Calf burger to the mousse that tastes like a whispered hallelujah, this is a restaurant that remembers why people gather around food in the first place. Five stars. No notes. Come hungry—and come ready to call it by name: The Holy Grail.

Oh My Juice Waco is a health-conscious cafe that offers a wide range of cold-pressed juices, smoothies and bites. They use fresh whole foods to make their juices, with no additional sugars or preservatives. The cafe has a great location in downtown Waco, and they are also at the Waco Farmer's Market on Saturdays.
Whenever I travel I like to find healthy food places, so I am so glad that I went to Oh My Juice! Easy walking distance from the hotel and convention center. The juice was good and a little sweet, but not too much. Egg sandwich was also good, with a tiny kick from the red pepper flakes in it. Very cute atmosphere, and fun swing chairs outside.

We dropped by for a fresh brunch - a bowl of some kind. The menu is quite extensive with many nice choices. The staff was knowledgeable and could recommend bowls to our taste. They were well made and tasted well. My wife especially loved them. I am personally not much a fan of these bowls - half frozen berries and smoothies - I prefer bacon and cheese. But none the less, the food was really fresh and well made.

Oh My Juice is the cutest little juice shop! Located on a quaint walkable street, we stopped in and were blown away by the atmosphere! Vibes are normally the selling point for me, but in this case I didn't have to sacrifice the quality of the product to just get a post-worthy photo-- because the açaí was delicious! I was excited to try this spot out, but was very disappointed. The acai bowl i ordered was not only gross, but I also asked for no pineapple and they added that on it! I visit OMJ every time I am in Waco and lament not having a spot with the quality and options of OMJ where I live normally. Nestled in the heart of Waco, Breakfast Place is a vibrant diner that has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 2012. This family-owned gem opens its doors at 7:00 a.m., making it the perfect spot to kickstart your day with an array of breakfast and lunch options.
As a tea snob, their tea was great. And bringing a carafe with the glass, classy. The Athena was great, different dish to have at breakfast. The only negative I found was not having tobacco sauce. Just my jam with potatoes. Server was wonderful, just an enjoyable place to have breakfast.
Steven G — Google review
When you walk into Our Breakfast Place, it’s welcoming in a familiar kind of way. The kind of place where the coffee is hot, the décor hasn’t changed in years, and they greet you before you find your seat. Service starts strong. A server swings by quick to take your drink order, and soon after, a full pot of coffee lands on your table—no need to wait for refills. But that’s where the attention starts to slip. I ordered the Avocado Mash on Toast with a side of Ranch Potatoes—a clean, lighter choice. The server asked about eggs, and I assumed she meant as an add-on, not that eggs were included in the meal. So when the plate came out eggless, I realized there had been a communication breakdown. No big deal. Except she dropped off the food, said nothing, and disappeared. No “Can I get you anything else?” No “Enjoy your meal.” No check-in mid-bite to ask if it’s all right. I didn’t see her again until she dropped the check at the end and asked, “Was everything okay?” At that point, it’s too late to fix anything. Let’s talk food. The avocado mash was a highlight—generously portioned, chunky, creamy, drizzled with good olive oil and perked up by a wedge of lemon that brought real brightness. It was clean, simple, and satisfying. The potatoes, though? A miss. The cuts were all over the place—some thick and soft, others thin and burned, and more than a few half-raw. They lacked seasoning, tasted starchy, and had that unfortunate undercooked interior with an overcooked shell. The uneven chop made them cook unevenly, and it showed. I left most of them on the plate. As for the coffee, the pot-at-the-table model works in theory. It’s efficient, especially during busy breakfast rushes. But it also underlines the lack of attentive service—you pour your own, refill your own, and if you need anything, you’re on your own. And then comes the checkout bottleneck. They drop your check at the table, but you have to pay up front—right where the people waiting to be seated are also huddled. It creates a logjam of folks trying to leave and enter in the same square of tile. One lady in front of me had to dig through her bag, pack up a to-go order, swap bills for change, leave a tip—it took five minutes. And it wasn’t her fault. It’s just a system stuck in time. With today’s tech, there’s no reason they couldn’t cash you out at the table and keep things moving. Atmosphere? Comfortable. Familiar. But not particularly memorable. Service? Inconsistent. Started warm, ended cold. Food? Half hit, half miss. Generously, I’m giving it four stars. But next time, I’ll ask if the eggs are included—and I’ll hope the potatoes get a second chance.

Delicious! My son and I loved this cute brunch spot. Our waiter was so nice and very attentive. The restrooms were clean. There was a wait, but they were getting people say quickly. The food came out exactly as ordered and mu h quicker than I thought it would given how busy they were. If we ever find ourselves in waco at brunch time again we will for sure be back.

We were visiting Waco and decided to try them for breakfast. We enjoyed it so much, we came back the next day! Freshly ground coffee, delicious food and great service! What I really appreciated were the variety of options, plus smaller breakfast options, like 1 egg, 1 strip of bacon or a sausage patty and 1/2 of a Belgian waffle. Today, I tried the apple granola pancake with eggs and bacon. Excellent!

The Blasian Asian is a popular food truck at Union Hall, offering traditional Cambodian dishes like noodles and skewers. The food is cooked to order using fresh ingredients, resulting in delicious flavors. Additionally, the food truck has gained attention on social media for its extravagant milkshakes. Despite occasional menu shortages, the overall experience and taste of the cuisine have received positive feedback from visitors.
The food was AMAZING! Very polite & friendly staff. We had some leftovers we took home & I ate it the next day( I usually hate leftover takeout) but the flavors were just bursting in my mouth. So worth every penny. If we find ourselves out this side again we'll definitely be eating here again.

Overall I wanted to love it but man the food just isn't there for me. It lacks flavor (except the skewers those were awesome very small and skinny but great tasting) the noodles were literally like the cheapest ramen noodles and they tasted like it. The spring rolls taste like plain boiled cabbage. And let's not even start on the portion size lol can I atleast have the rest of my .25cent ramen package ended up eating at a different place in the hall because it was not filling and the only thing I'd call good were the skewers.

If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. The bread on the Tofu Bahn Mi we ordered was a Ciabatta bread that was stale, cold and dry. I am used to a French baguette that’s crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The tofu was cold and not seasoned or cooked (grilled or sautéed) thoroughly. There was white American mayo inside instead of yellow Vietnamese mayo and the pickled veggies did not have very much flavor. Sadly, the fried rice we ordered was dry and seemed like it had been reheated. I also asked for extra veggies and didn’t receive it. The staff I placed the order with over the phone seemed very abrasive and rude as well. Overall, a disappointing service and food experience.

We have eaten here since it opened. Tonight I got the yellow noodles spice level 2 and my daughter had fried rice with chicken spice level 4. This is what we always order. I am not sure what was going on in the kitchen but both of our dishes were so hot we barely ate any of it. It was actually so hot we couldn't even taste the food. The line was so long we didn't want to wait for a remake. Over all we were so disappointed we just tossed it away and left.

The food was amazing went yesterday forgot to review! The eggrolls 100% must try, especially the one with meat! Their fried rice is your choice of protein and very garlicky if that is not your thing I would not recommend… I wonder if they are able to adjust that 🤔. Looking forward to the next time I go they have more options but off what I received/ordered I will definitely be returning!

I really really wanted to like this place. As a Khmer, it's a rare treat to find a place that serves up Khmer cuisine. So traditionally, most really tasty Khmer dishes take a while to prepare and I get that this isn't the place for that (think food truck) so instead of a rural country side dish a khmer grandma made, it's more of a Phnom Penh fast food variety. Again, it's fine but I was missing what my mother, aunt and grandma would make. The dishes, which I included for you to see, were on the dry side and my particular dish was on the salty side. The other 2 said their dishes were on the sweet spectrum and the slices of carrots were dry. Overall, the consensus was that it tastes like generic Chinese take out. Again, you don't see many Khmer, or Cambodian restaurants in the wild and my hopes were high but I was let down. Plus the prices were on the high side...and that's without drinks. So many white people will think Khmer food tastes like generic Chinese take out...please don't!

I just did Uber Eats and the food I ordered was chicken fried rice with extra egg. The chicken and egg were so dry it taste like beef jerky and I also requested for my rice to be spicy there is no spice

Taqueria El Crucero is a popular breakfast and lunch spot in Waco, known for its authentic Mexican fare at affordable prices. The unassuming eatery offers a solid selection of traditional tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and more. It's a favorite among locals for its friendly atmosphere and great customer service. This drive-thru-only gem also stands out for its generous portions of food and freshly brewed coffee.
Best breakfast tacos in Waco! Good pricing. Great quality. Large quantity. Hot and fresh. Fresh brewed coffee. Amazing customer service. Drive thru only. Cash PREFERRED. Credit card has fee. Some parking in the back.

Excellent breakfast tacos. The tortillas are fresh and not store bought. I thought I was going to take a while in the drive thru, but as soon as I pulled up someone came outside to my truck in the drive thru to take my order. Excellent customer service at the window as well. They only take cash FYI. The tacos were amazing as well.

Love this place! Every time I come the family is super sweet, the food is bomb, and the service incredible. Please stop by (try the green salsa and the pineapple water!) Support mom and pop shops.

Quiet mom and pop mexican restaurant serving just breakfast and lunch. Everything's homemade. I've tried the burritos and spanish omelets. Both were amazing and full of flavor. Drive-thru and cash only. There might be a tiny wait but the food is delicious and well worth it!

My favorite food in Waco. Amazing pork in verde sauce. Get a pupusa on the side! Corn tortillas are the best I've ever had.

Fabulous food! "Hole in the wall" is accurate, but you don't go to a taqueria (Mexican fast food) necessarily for the atmosphere--it's about the food! I visited Waco from Wisconsin, and went here based on its 4.6 star rating. I agree with 4.6! I had the Oso Enchiladas (pork with green sauce). Excellent! Their tortillas are hand-made. No chips and salsa, but food is "muy sabor"!

I had eaten rather late yesterday (just before closing) but that took nothing away from the attention I received at the Huaco Mexican Eatery. The food was meticulously curated, the chef was cheerful and sweet and it was completely delicious. A unique take on your everyday tacos we seem to get here in Texas and the churros are next level.

This place is really nice and great for groups because there is something for everyone. Multiple dinner options for all of the people in your group. Pizza, sushi, burgers all in one place.

So glad we stopped by union food hall. They have great food options. We ate Huaco eatery and not only was the food delicious, the presentation of it was beautiful. The owner was so kind and passionate about what he does and it shows in the quality of food and service he provides to his customers. Would highly recommend.

We ate at Huaco. I spotted some locations around town, but we eat plenty of Mexican food so I wasnt planning to check it out. But in here, we saw some pics of the food at their food counter and it just looked very appetizing so we tried it. It tasted so good! It was more foodie than traditional, but it was very delicious. The food court had a lot of options - several Asian options, pizza, Caribbean, and burgers.

First time at Union Hall and our first stop was at Huaco eatery. Man what can I say, the food was incredible. Real authentic Mexican food! We tried the chips and queso with beef, pozole verde, torta de tinga and a kids chicken quesadilla. Everything was deliciously made, and the churro dessert was amazing!!!! Highly recommend trying this place out! Not only was the food delicious ,but the customer service was great from Alex and the Chef Sebastian!

George’s Restaurant Bar & Catering #2, also known as G2, is an old-school establishment that offers hearty American fare and drinks in a TV-equipped space. It is located at 1201 Hewitt Drive in Waco, TX. The restaurant serves cold beer and good times, with operating hours from Monday to Saturday starting at 7 am until closing time.
I’ve wanted to try George’s Restaurant in Waco for some time and we finally had an opportunity to try their second location in West Waco. We stopped for a late lunch on Thursday. The lunch crowd was already gone, and we were seated right away. Our server, Brittany, was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful with the menu since it was our first time. She made it an enjoyable dining experience and when we go back, we will ask for Brittany! We were given jalapeno cheese cornbread while we waited for our food. We both liked the cornbread, especially with the whipped butter that was served with it. For our meals, I got the Southwest Chicken Club, and my wife got the lunch portion of Chicken Fried Steak. My sandwich did not come with a side, but it was a great chicken sandwich. With avocado, bacon, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and honey lime dressing, it was a well put together sandwich with great flavors. The lunch portion Chicken Fried Steak was only $8.25….WHAT???? That’s right, I don’t think we have seen a better lunch menu deal out there. You’ll spend more than that at every fast-food restaurant. Not only was it a great deal, it was also very good. My wife got the buttered sweet corn and French fries as her sides. She got the French fries to share with me, since my sandwich didn’t come with a side, and it was more than enough for both of us. The chicken fried steak was tender and the breading and cream gravy were both very good. We had absolutely no criticism for our entire meal. And for a first time, we both ordered dessert because my wife couldn’t resist getting the peach cobbler. The peach cobbler came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and it was really good. I ordered the Big “O” Sundae. It comes with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, strawberries, pecans, and whipped cream. One word…Awesome! We had a great meal at George’s #2. When we are back in the Waco area, we’ll definitely come back and hopefully bring our whole family. Bottom Line, GO eat at George’s!

Good Food, Good Vibes, and Texas Comfort on a Plate ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ George’s Bar & Grill knows how to do comfort food right. We stopped in for a laid-back dinner, and it turned out to be one of those meals where you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. I had the catfish basket, and let me tell you—it was fried to perfection. Crispy golden crust on the outside, tender and flaky catfish on the inside. No grease, just straight-up flavor. Paired it with garlic mashed potatoes, which were creamy, rich, and had just enough bite to let that garlic shine through. It hit the spot. My wife went with the steak finger basket and a side of mac and cheese, and she was all smiles. The steak fingers were hearty, well-seasoned, and had that satisfying crunch you want from Southern-style comfort food. And the mac and cheese? Creamy, cheesy, and made like someone’s grandma was back there stirring the pot. The atmosphere was just as good as the food—casual, friendly, and buzzing with that local charm that makes you feel right at home. Service was quick and on point, and the prices were more than fair for the portions we got. George’s is one of those places that doesn’t need to be flashy—it wins you over with flavor, comfort, and consistency. If you’re in the mood for Southern favorites served with a smile, this place is a must-visit.

Just as good as it was 20 years ago! Cold Shiner schooners, cool vibe, and great food! Patio seating on a beautiful day is just the best! The menu is huge and has sooo many things! Service is excellent and plenty of seating whether you want indoor restaurant, at the bar area or the covered patio semi outside. Highly recommend George's.

Good menu variety. Breakfast they can pretty much take an order "a la Carte" without having to pick from their predetermined menu choices. When you don't know where else to go, George's is always a good choice. Great lunch specials too.

Went here with a friend on a Wednesday for lunch. It was busy and now I know why. The food was very good. I got the lunch special chicken fried steak with 2 sides. It was very good and tender . The waitress was very friendly and the prices are good as well. Will definitely be going back when I can.
Lilly H — Google review
We have eaten at George's on several occasions, and they have always been consistent with good food and service. On our last visit, I had the fajita chicken tacos, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The portions of chicken in tacos were abundant and not lacking like most other places. The only negative I have is that the parking lot gets full and crowded pretty fast. But even then, we never were not able to find a spot. it just took a little maneuvering and finesse. But don't let that stop you, go check them out for yourself. You'll be glad you did. Highly recommend them.

The Backyard Bar Stage and Grill, also known as the Backyard Waco, is a popular outdoor venue in downtown Waco. It offers a vibrant atmosphere with an outdoor patio featuring a stage for live entertainment, billiards, fire pits, and a large TV screen. This hotspot is well-known for hosting big-name artists like CeeLo Green and Snoop Dogg while also providing space for local talent to perform.
Beautiful venue! Music for the first band was way too loud for me as couldn't converse without yelling and the doggos didn't like it so loud. Pretty good band though! Great place for the Humane Society to host their fund raising event and I bought very cool t-shirt! I got there after dinner so didn't try the food yet, but I've heard great reviews from friends!

Great big country place with a really fun atmosphere. It’s a huge building with lots of seating, a bar, inside venue, and outside space as well. It wasn’t very crowded when we went so there was plenty to do like corn hole and enjoying the live music. My friends all had burgers and fries and said they were a great size and tasted amazing. I got the fried catfish myself and loved it. I believe our waitress name was Maya and she was great at taking our order and being helpful. It is one of those place where you place your order at a counter then the staff sends you a text when your food is ready. It is not a kid friendly place and they do charge $ for those under 21.

Came here on a recommendation of a friend for a "very casual place", which it is, BUT DO NOT COME HERE FOR THE FOOD! We were extremely inedible due to a pretty varied menu online, but when ee got there, the cashier said "Oh, you missed the other menu. This is all we're serving now cuz there's a concert." The hamburger patty was inedible. Some kinda mush patty with no texture and weird flavor. The kids quesadilla is one tortilla folded in half, and all of my family coukd not eat their fries. Lukewarm and soft, they had some weird seasoning with sugar? The meat in my son's Philly cheesesteak did not look fresh. My grilled chicken salad was a'ight in a clear plastic container with tons of iceberg, carrots and tomatoes. Chicken was tasty, just needed more. The highlight was the spicy ranch and the mozzarella cheese sticks. Flies were a problem even while inside , as the door to patio/concert area is open. When I got back to hotel, the clerk even said "Ohhhh, nooo...nobody goes there for the food" 🤷‍♂️ I did enjoy my cold Lone Star beer! 🍻 but I definitely will not be back .

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the customer traffic was light. The lady taking the orders wasn’t the friendliest person, the outside was nice but there was no band on Sunday afternoon so we sat inside, the inside was not the cleanest, and the food was just okay - okay brisket sandwich and pesto sandwich was not typical pesto.

My wife and I was in town to see our son who’s a freshman at Baylor, we came in on Friday night with him & Instantly was greeted by a gentleman who I think is a bouncer his name was Branden if I recall correctly, he welcomed us into the bar & was knowledgeable about the area as he stated he just moved here recently! We love meeting new people!! The bar had a show happening so the stage/outside area was unfortunately closed! I appreciate him taking the time to talk to us, the kitchen staff was very nice and the food was great :) only a little bit of a wait time but that’s no problem! Friday night vibes and great music is what this place is about! 5 stars all around!!!! Will be back!!!!

Awful experience. We visited on June 10 with my family, and the visit was disappointing from the start. The server behind the counter blew her nose and immediately took our order and served someone else’s food—without washing her hands. We had to wait longer than expected for our food because we were told the cook was outside taking a smoke break. When the food finally arrived, it was a letdown—the salad was wilted and very basic. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also concerning. Towels were randomly left on the floor, tables weren’t clean, and there were extension cords for their instruments scattered throughout the space. We came to Waco to visit the Magnolia Silos and were hoping for a better dining experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place and definitely won’t be returning.

Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory is a popular fast-food chain known for its classic Mexican dishes and freshly made tortillas, all served in a vibrant and festive setting. Customers appreciate the efficient service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. While it can get crowded during peak times, the staff works quickly to accommodate everyone. The atmosphere is lively and casual, making it an ideal spot for enjoying a quick bite with friends or family.
This is such a beautiful place. I loved all the Spanish decor that was used. The walls have paintings of mexican folklore, accented with balconies decorated with colorful flowers & greenery. There are booths all along the walls big enough for 6pp and tables of four or 6pp in the middle section of each side of the restaurant. Dividing both sides of the restaurant, they have additional booths devorated with a ceiling full of guacamaya birds & lizards. The colors used all over the restaurant are so vivid & bright making this place so inviting. This restaurant is big enough to hold approximately maybe 150pp inside, plus they also have an outside patio area if you choose to dine outside. They have a beverage area with two fountain machines and four iced tea canisters. There is also an additional fountain machine across the other side of the restaurant. The staff here is friendly, which is an added bonus. And they have a drive-thru as well. The location is also great, there is plenty of parking available, and it is handicap equipped.

Cafe Rosa is a blend between a fast food restaurant and a regular restaurant. I like the ease of placing an order and then picking it up minutes later. Serving portions are just right and there’s no skimping. The value for your money is great and that’s why we would tend to go to Rosa other than some other Mexican restaurants. The only drawback that I found is that the food is not piping hot like normal Mexican restaurants, Where the server Place your plate down on the table holding the potholder. The chips unfortunately are stored in an open container rather than a heated bin and so they’re not as crisp, hot and fresh. Oh, and you don’t get free refills on your chip basket.

Got our order in drive thru, ordered 2 #55 & 3 #23 with jalapeñosin the side, unlike other restaurants serving tostados where you can taste and feel the texture of the refried beans, these were soggy, refried beans had a sauce texture :( I had to use a fork to eat a tostado. Geez!! So much for a crisp corn tortilla. No jalapeños on the side and the wrapped in paper tortillas were cold. Now I know why it's been SO long since I've eaten at this location. Really? We can't do better??

I had a wonderful opportunity to spend time with my daughter off work today and enjoy a delightfully delicious breakfast 😋 so good. Staff was kind and fabulous. The Asiago breakfast sandwich is my new favorite 😍 Had some hazelnut coffee ☕️ with half n half, really wish for favored hazelnut creamer to go along with coffee, but still drank the coffee. The Orange Scone. Oh man is that worth devouring. Perfect combination of scone and orange cream sauce on top. Bagel Tuesday 🥯 is awesome. Take it the family or group of friends. Although I forgot to ask for the honey cream cheese. Hearing it's the best. Enjoy this place and relax for a moment. I personally love it. ❤️

Our church was having an appreciation breakfast and we wanted to make sure that it was a bit more upscale, so we ordered Panera bagels and pastries. The service over the phone was great. (Though you do have to time it correctly when ordering a large catering order over the phone to talk to the catering manager. Not a problem if you give everyone enough time - over a week's notice.) Brittany was delightful and made sure that our order was on time and correct, which is great on an early Sunday morning order. We will keep using Panera due to the ease of ordering and their ability to serve us well for a large group of people (600 servings)! Oh! Also, Brittany made sure to separate the options with nuts for us. Definitely not an allergy I remembered, but that was such a kind gesture.

12/05/2024-UPDATE from one star. Happy to see a difference from before. Although the pictures are a far cry from what you recieve, thats pretty common. Much more robust sandwiches over several visits and the coffee is still great. Staff is friendly. Bagels seem to have decreased in size over the years but are still delicious. Hopefully my previous experience was a one time. 09/05/2024- All I can say is Dam. Panera used to be such a good and reliable value. Place was practically empty at 8:20 AM. Cashier was very polite. Got a to-go order and was immediately told no everything bagels. Actually nothing but asiago and something else bagels. Was able to get one finally as my order was being made but wish I didn't. Nothing like what they used to be. Better value bagels at Dunkin by far. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches. Pretty pathetic and almost criminal. Now, I know fast food chains always shortchange your drive-thru and to-go orders because they assume you wont check nor hassle with going back to complain. But Panera? Come on! Looks like Hellen Keller made my sandwiches. Pretty pricey for what you get. Then I went to get my coffee, light roast. But no. Empty. Just like the store. Going again and repost an update.

Food has gone way downhill and prices way up. Limp lettuce for salads and dry sandwiches that don’t really taste good for a whole lot of cash. Bakery goods are still good, especially the cinnamon rolls. Counter help is clueless when asked basic questions about ingredients on a sandwich. Asking questions is completely hopeless. Kim's Diner is a retro-themed restaurant in Waco that takes you back to the 1950s with its charming decor and nostalgic ambiance. Despite being an old-school establishment without a website, it offers classic American dishes like sandwiches, burgers, shakes, fried pickles, and hand-cut fries. The menu features juicy and flavorful burgers along with crispy and loaded fried pickles served with ranch dressing. Visitors highly recommend trying the lean burgers paired with milkshakes for a delightful dining experience.
This place is amazing. The food is fresh. Hamburgers are not frozen. Salads are freshly made. The Salisbury steak is always good. Very fun family friendly atmosphere. Its like being in a diner from the 50’s. Really cool place. I come here all the time. I am very partial to one waitress that works there. She is the best. Always has a smile on her face and will remember your name. If you dine in during the day ask for Liz. She will make you feel like you’re at home.

Chicken Fried Throwback with a Side of Silence Kim’s Diner, Waco, TX When you walk into Kim’s Diner, the checkerboard floors and chrome-edged tables don’t just say retro—they holler it across the room like a jukebox waking from a nap. Vintage Coca-Cola lights dangle above the booths, red vinyl chairs line up like soldiers, and the walls are pure Americana—nostalgic murals, classic car prints, and diner kitsch. It’s got the bones of a roadside legend, even if the soul’s on break. I went with a small Chicken Fried Steak Dinner, and for the price, it was a solid move. Let’s break it down: • The Steak: Nicely battered, golden-brown crust, well-seasoned throughout. What made it work was that the cook actually respected the protein—no grease pool, no soggy corners. I specifically asked for the white gravy on the side—I like to see the steak and decide the gravy journey, not get smothered into submission. That request was honored, and the pour-as-you-go approach made each bite better. Props to the cook. Mashed Potatoes & Brown Gravy: Classic. Creamy, hot, and the brown gravy wasn’t salty or clumpy—just smooth and a little savory. No frills, but well-executed. Fried Okra: Hot, generously portioned, and while it leaned on the softer side rather than crispy, the flavor came through. It still delivered that Southern familiarity you expect. Now here’s where the engine coughed: the service. The waitress never introduced herself, took my order, and then vanished—posted up at the bar chatting with a coworker for the rest of the meal. I wasn’t offered refills, no check-in, and no dessert prompt. She did ring me up, but not even a “thanks” or “come back again.” I was ready for that Chocolate Lava Cake, but I wasn’t about to interrupt a social hour to get it. And that’s a shame—because the food earned a second round. Despite the ghost-town energy and the invisible server act, I would still return. Kim’s delivers where it counts most: hearty comfort food, good prices, and a chef who’s clearly still showing up, even when the front-of-house doesn’t. With some polished hospitality, this could easily be a five-star joint. But for now, it’s a four-star stop—with a side of missed potential.

This place is very good definitely worth a trip. While they were busy and it took a minute to get waited on, the servers are very friendly. The food was fresh and delicious, very tasty, lots of flavor. Lots of cool decor throughout the restaurant.

Was running errands yesterday having a terrible day until i came here. Atmosphere is sooooo adorable how could anyone be upset looking at such beauty. I ordered the chilli and cheese tots which were AMAZING!!!!! The young man that took my order was so helpful and cheerful. Im glad i came here. 10000 stars if i could!!!

Ok. This is not a 5 star restaurant nor do they serve gourmet cuisine. But what it is - it is amazing. Great burgers, very reasonably priced, the warmest friendliest staff I've ever seen. For "southern comfort" food- nice people, retro environment it is the best. There's something amazing about a place that when you walk in they know your name they know what you like they know when you're through that you're going to take half of your plate with you at home. This place just oozes friendliness it says we care about our people

Nestled in the bustling Magnolia Market area, Magnolia Press Coffee Co. is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. Despite its touristy vibe, this coffee shop offers an impressive selection of beverages, from rich espresso drinks to comforting hot chocolate and robust dark coffee. The ambiance exudes a blend of timeless elegance and modern industrial chic, drawing visitors in with its neat nautical tones and inviting outdoor patio adorned with romantically lit bulbs.
This place just made me happy! From home shopping at Magnolia to cozy little cafés and walking around the Silos. Waco was such a fun experience. Chip and Joanna have created something truly special here. A well-done stop that’s definitely worth the visit!

Stopped in for a latte on my way to Austin. It was so wonderful I made it a point and stayed the night in Waco on the way back! Magnolia Press coffee was my first stop again this morning!!!! I had the honey bear latte and then today I had a Vanilla latte! Both times amazing. Both times wonderful customer connection and service. Both times the facility was busy and charming and clean! This will be a regular stop for me. As I will be traveling to Austin quite a bit now. I have MPC pinned as a new favorite!

Great experience here! Very attentive staff and what a cool place. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy your mocha (like I did) and my ham and cheese croissant. Beautiful garden patio and lots of tables and chairs there too. If you’re anywhere where near here, stop in! You’ll enjoy it!

Such a cute little coffee shop! It gives off studious, cozy vibes. I really appreciated that they offer both still and sparkling water for customers (a small touch that goes a long way). Plenty of great seating options both inside and out. I had their cold brew and it was excellent—smooth, strong, and just what I needed. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to!

Magnolia Coffee Press is a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing coffee shop. The space is thoughtfully designed, with a lovely mix of colors and furnishings that make it feel both cozy and stylish. You can really see the care that went into creating the atmosphere. There’s plenty of seating available, making it a great spot to catch up with a friend over coffee and a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and kind, which adds to the welcoming vibe. It can get a little loud at times with the hustle and bustle of customers coming and going — but that’s part of the charm and energy you'd expect from a vibrant local coffee shop. Overall, a great spot to relax, connect, and enjoy a beautifully crafted drink. Definitely worth a visit!

Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Comfy seating. Coffee and tea is not any better than a Starbucks or anything else. Way over-hyped because it's part of the whole magnolia farms thing. Went here thinking it was a nice coffee shop to work in and then realized it was more of a tourist stop. Would've rather gone somewhere less busy that has better drinks.
Matt K — Google review
Pretty average prices and a super nice atmosphere. I was expecting it to be even more than starbucks but it was even a bit cheaper. The pear refresher was really good. They also have complimentary sprakling water on tap.

Visited during the Silobration Event and the coffee is really good. Tried the Salted Maple Cider. It was extremely good. It was apple cider with a maple whip cream and it was very flavorful. Also tried the 1905 hot coffee and it had a rich coffee flavor and was not too sweet. I really enjoyed it. The warm banana bread with butter was very tasteful. The only thing I would change would be to add walnuts to the bread but overall I would highly recommend anything I tried there.

Leal's Mexican Restaurant, located at 9000 Panther Dr, Waco, TX 76712-3623, has been serving delicious Mexican and Southwestern cuisine since 1995. The restaurant is known for its consistent and flavorful food, with popular items like breakfast burritos and the highly recommended chili topper. The atmosphere is described as hometown and unpretentious, with a focus on good food and community.
me and my girlfriend went and the lady that took our order was super nice. we got tacos and omg they were sooooo yummy. i think they were some of the best tacos i’ve ever had. their sauce was also super good. we got the green sauce and orange sauce, the orange one was kinda spicy but not super and the green one was not very spicy. i got the tres taquitos plate with the barbacoa. my girlfriend got the taco tuesday special, which was two crunchy tacos with rice and beans. both of our meals came out to $22 in total. i would definitely recommend this place.

We have seen this place many times over the past year. On March 15, 2024 was the day we stopped by about 8:30 AM for breakfast. 1st, we wondered if it was open because the parking lot was basically empty. Then we saw the drive thru. One thing we both noticed on the menu is that any changes made would cost you extra. We both chose to create your own breakfast burrito, large. We both got sausage egg, bean, potato, and Pico de gallo. We also got chips and hot sauce. We both noticed immediately the hot sauce had a different taste, and we thought too much cumin. Anyway wasn't for our taste. The burritos were big, but again, they lacked taste. As we were finishing up I needed to waste my hands, so I went to the men's room and let say it was if I stepped into the side of the road hole in a wall gas station. Ok, the truth, I do make exception time to time for location, but for a $34,$4 tip, breakfast with no bloodmary, this isn't a place I'm going to visit again. As always, keeping real per my experience.
Patrick K — Google review
This place use to be the place to be back in the day. I’ve attempted to eat here 3 times and all 3 times have been more than disappointing. This order I placed is way wrong. I did not get what I paid for. Shocker, right? One issue is the salsa. I asked and paid for extra GREEN sauce. I received this absolutely DISGUSTING red sauce. It smells bad. Like really bad. Throw in the trash bad. I tasted it and it definitely is bad. And let’s not forget to add the 2 pieces of egg shells I had the pleasure of enduring. Everything ended up in the trash, where it belongs. Do better!! Especially if you’re gonna overcharge on “large burritos” that end up as a small, or NOT the right ingredients.
Sara B — Google review
A Woodway staple, probably one of the longest running restaurants here besides Shipley’s. The Leal family is wonderful and such a blessing to the community. Love the way you are treated inside - can’t beat the breakfast burrito!!
John W — Google review
I was not a fan! 21.00 for two burritos that look like tacos not worth it at all! Average price you pay for two burritos in Waco is 15 bucks. They had absolutely no flavor. I dumped a whole container of red salsa and a whole container of green salsa on my taco / burrito and still tasted nothing. There was no flavor the salsa had no flavor it gave the burrito no flavor. I told my sister, am I tripping or does this taste like nothing? The salsa was watery. All it did was water down my burrito. Then, most places when ordering 2 burritos give you a green and red per burrito. They gave me one red and one green I had to pay for an extra Green in an extra red salsa. Would NOT eat here again.
Angelica M — Google review
A bit pricey but definitely satisfied with their breakfast burritos. Smaller than I imagined but filled me up regardless! Their flour tortillas are on point! My only complaint would be their hours.
Juan D — Google review
My wife Marcela and I went to Leals today. The food and service were spectacular. I have been coming here since middle school football days and the food is just as amazing. Do yourself a favor and go try it, you'll be glad you did!
Josh F — Google review
This is authentic Mexican food, not tex-mex like Rosa's down the street. I say that because some of these reviews seem to be looking for more of that flavor and experience.... this isnt that. If you want Abuela's tortillas, and authentic salsa, not picante sauce, and authentic recipes you found your spot. Nothing fancy to the building but who cares its a local Mexican diner that's been in the same location since I was in high-school. Not a date night spot. It's where locals come for breakfast and lunch. If you're offended by Spanish speaking workers, make your own food at home. Its family owned and operated, you're going to feel like part of the family and leave full.

Magnolia Market is a must-visit destination in Waco, known for its chic home design and garden supply center. It's the brainchild of HGTV's Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines. The market offers an array of activities for families, including browsing shops for farmhouse finds and gardening gear, indulging in delicious cupcakes from Silos Baking Co., and sipping on coffee from Magnolia Press.
It was a really cool place with a lot of stores to choose from. I think on the weekends it definitely would be better because the food trucks would be open although they were a couple open today but there’s a lot of activities, games with your family. A lot of history, I really enjoyed it. I WOULD RECOMMEND
Cindy L — Google review
A beautifully maintained and well-designed area featuring a great selection of interesting shops and diverse dining options. The entire premises are exceptionally clean and inviting, with plenty of attractive photo opportunities that make the visit even more enjoyable.
Ch Z — Google review
Magnolia Market is an experience, not just a store. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much thought and heart went into every detail — from the curated home decor to the layout of the entire space. It’s beautifully designed, clean, and full of inspiration for every kind of home style. The grounds are just as impressive as the market itself. There’s plenty of open space to relax, sit with a drink from Magnolia Press, or enjoy something tasty from the food trucks. It’s super family-friendly, with lawn games and places for kids to run around while adults shop or unwind. Yes, it can get a little crowded, especially on weekends, but the staff keeps things running smoothly and the vibe stays warm and welcoming. If you're a fan of Fixer Upper or just love great design, it’s definitely worth the trip. Magnolia Market lives up to the hype.

The perfect place to visit as a family. There were tons of cute shops that my wife and daughters loved and plenty of outdoor space and games to keep the rest of us entertained while they shopped. Clean bathrooms and lots of good food trucks too!

Great place to explore and have some food. Classy and diverse range of goods for sale and it didn't have a 'tourist trap' vibe which was nice. We stopped in for a browse and some lunch on our way from Austin to Dallas. We're from Australia and we were on a vacation in TX. Some people in Austin suggested Waco was 'boring' and 'only a college town'. They were wrong. (They were also probably from Southern CA.) Waco was great and next time we're going to stay there for a few days for sure. Everybody was so nice - and it's beautiful!
MS & — Google review
Upon stepping in, the market was very well decorated and lively. However the prices are genuinely insane. A copper scooper the size of your hand will cost 50$, a single icecream scooper costs 18$, and its basically the same for every other item in the store. The bathrooms are pretty nice though, there’s an air freshener, two trashcans, and a diaper changing bed.
Timefor W — Google review
For visitors to Waco, Magnolia Market is an absolute must-see, boasting an atmosphere that perfectly complements its varied shopping and dining options, not to mention spotless restroom facilities. The overall experience was truly exceptional.

Great home cooking cafe. Classic breakfast! Gigi our waitress was incredibly kind, happy to be there, and welcoming. Food was quickly served up, and total time from seating to finished eating was 30 minutes.

This lovely Cafe had the hometown feel and an aroma-filled atmosphere you couldn't fake. The cook made me a stack of, white chocolate chip and blueberries pancakes. You wouldn't regret a visit at this grand location and restaurant. We had a 25 minute wait-time for a table. But, every moment was worth the wait. Wi-Fi was available and the Arnold Palmer Mixed Tea I requested felt fresh and crisp like the mid morning breeze. I recommend this restaurant when you're in the mood for farm fresh eggs and newly thick-sliced beacon. Enjoy... 😃

reasonable prices. good portions. food pretty good but fish a little undercooked. everything piping hot except french fries were cold. There seems to be a policy of making sure every table gets to "enjoy" a baby nearby. I don't understand why any restaurant can't put the babies in one area and the people who want a quiet meal in another instead of seating the babies next to my table in a half full restaurant.

We had a great experience thanks to our waitress, Margaret! She was incredibly attentive, super friendly, and made sure all of our order was taken care of perfectly. Her attention to detail even though it was busy and warm attitude made our visit extra enjoyable. Our drinks were always and the food was great. It’s not every day you get such great service — thank you, Margaret!

Brown House Cafe, I wish I could give you 20 stars. I came to have lunch earlier this week, and you treated my 89-year-old grandmother like royalty. The incredibly kind manager made sure that she had a seat with a cushion, overheard our conversation that the orange slices were too thick for her to chew, and he suddenly materialized with thin slices of orange. Our lovely waitress made sure she had everything she needed. The manager even walked us out to the car and carried our to-go box so I could help my grandmother with her walker. A kind stranger (or angel) even paid for our lunch! Thank you, whoever that was! You made our day a field of flowers. We will be back. (Also thank you to the table of kind ladies who came over to say hi to my grandmother on their way out. She loved it.)

The food was great and it was served quickly after ordering. However, it took longer than usual for someone to get our drink order or to simply say hello. Once our food was order she never returned to check on us which I was dissatisfied about because I was alone with a toddler and infant. I needed extra napkins and forks because well they drop stuff. But she only came back to give me the check when I asked for it. Food was great but service could be better.
Crystal A — Google review
This place is good—great vibe and excellent service. I had the chicken fried steak with onion rings and mac and cheese. The chicken fried steak was excellent, and fantastically large. The onion rings were good, but not exceptional. The only thing I disliked was the mac and cheese as it was bland. I would still recommend eating here as most of their menu items are excellent and their service is phenomenal. But due note that as of July 2024, the online menu does not match the sit-down menu (the online menu is cheaper).

We ate around 10 am and started off with Biscuits were old and hard, but they still served them anyways. We sent them back and the server DID take them off our ticket but we really really wanted Biscuits and Gravy this morning. Anyways we were not at all pleased with the Chicken Fried Steak or the Beef Fajita meat which I added to my veggie omelette for easier ordering. We ate some and left more but we won't be returning. IHOP is a well-established chain known for its diverse selection of pancakes and classic American breakfast options. Despite some mixed experiences with the service, many customers have enjoyed their meals, praising dishes like waffles, omelettes, chicken fried steak, and bacon pancakes. The cleanliness of the restaurants has been noted positively in several reviews. While some diners have mentioned the need for maintenance and cleaning in certain locations, others have commended the professional and friendly staff.
Went there at 5am on 4/3/25. Waitress was attentive, ordered Breakfast.. Eggs, toast, Hashbrowns, sausage.. Food was great, but, like everything else, price was high.. Recommend...🤠👍

The food tasted good but until I saw the hair in the Oreo waffle. Place looked good until I saw cockroach. Chicken fajita omelette was very tasty. The service was good but felt the place was not hygienic. Mentally I wasn’t okay dining here, wouldn’t recommend.
Jagruthi B — Google review
To start with, the server was very slow in delivering our order as we can see our food sitting there on the counter for almost 15 mins and then when she brought the food, she missed the chocolate chip pancake(which she said herself) and yet she forgot about it for next 20 mins. Then, as a server, she never came to check if we wanted anything else, and its not like the restaurant was very busy and there were no other servers. Then, when she finally came and when we told her that she missed the chocolate pancake then she looked at us with an angry face. Secondly, we got the wrong of the chocolate chip pancake(picture attached below/above), and everyone knows its not how it looks.
Shubham H — Google review
It’s best to NOT order stuff to go from this IHOP. On several occasions I’ve got home to realize my order is not only incomplete (the 4 sausage links I ordered were nowhere to be found) but the stuff I got wasn’t right either. I watched my wife dig tomatoes and onions out of her omelette for 5 minutes. Better double check your order before you leave.
SB C — Google review
I ordered the French toast combo meal. I didn't receive my french toast until the meal was over. We don't blame the server. She said someone else was supposed to deliver the order. We ran out of coffee and water. We were never offered refill. Not once did we see a manager on the floor. A couple next to us waited for 15 minutes before their order was taken. There was a gentleman waiting when we got here to pick up an order. He walked to the front to cancel his order because he had waited so long. I do not know what systems this particular restaurant has in place, but man...this place sucks. Oh, and the manager took a whole 2.99 off my meal because I refused the french toast, which had obviously been sitting for a while. In a climate where customers are choosing to stay home and eat, restaurants need to be doing it better. This place was a major fail.

Whataburger is a famous burger chain that originated in 1950. They serve large, delicious burgers that are perfect for filling up on. The kind manager always comes out to thank customers for visiting, and ensures that everything is going well.
When it comes to breakfast, Whataburger knows how to deliver comfort food that hits every craving just right. I swung through recently and ordered a little bit of everything: the biscuits and gravy, a sausage taquito, and the breakfast on a biscuit—and let me tell you, every bite was worth it. The biscuits and gravy were exactly what you hope for—fluffy biscuits smothered in rich, peppery gravy that tasted homemade. It’s the kind of stick-to-your-ribs breakfast that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. The sausage taquito was packed full and wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla, making it the perfect grab-and-go option. The sausage had great flavor—not overly greasy—and paired perfectly with the eggs and cheese inside. The breakfast on a biscuit was another winner. That biscuit was buttery, tender, and held up perfectly with the hearty breakfast layers inside. Whether you add bacon, sausage, or just go classic, it’s a solid choice every time. Service was quick, the food was hot, and the staff was friendly, even with the early morning rush. It’s just one more reason Why Whataburger remains a Texas favorite—you know you’re always going to get a satisfying meal made with care. If you’re looking for a real breakfast—not just something microwaved and rushed out the door—Whataburger is the move.

This is a restaurant that does it right. I left a negative review at a Whataburger location across town a few days ago because of poor service and an unreasonably long wait time. Excellent experience.

I went through The drive-through and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with mayonnaise, tomato lettuce, and ask them to add pepper jack cheese. When I got home and unwrapped the sandwich, you can clearly tell that the Chicken was overcooked. I tried to take a bite of it, but it is very hard. I have never had a problem at this Whataburger, but this sandwich is horrible. I don’t think the person making it cared about the quality of what he/she was serving.

This review is for the new bacon blue cheese burger as well. Wait was a little longer than usual and it was just me in the drive thru. Good portion of blue cheese was on the burger and toppings were nice and fresh. Fries tasted a little old and the sprite was a little off. Gave me my condiments I requested. And the man in the window was nice.

The food has been described as delicious and filling, with specific mentions of dishes like lasagna and breakfast options being served promptly. The energetic and attentive service from waitstaff members like Stephanie and Donna has also been highlighted in customer reviews.
The food was great, was out from the kitchen in no time at all. We ordered nachos as the appetizer and it came out quickly while we were still discussing what to order. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and red skinned potatoes. My companion ordered chicken tenders, fries, and mashed potatoes. I don't think the server heard her correctly when she asked for mashed potatoes and brought it out with red skinned potatoes instead. I can cut her a little slack considering she was the only person working the floor during a shift change where more employees were arriving. Despite the hiccup, she was attentive, and filled our drinks regularly. For two meals, an appetizer, and two drinks, it nearly ran me 60$, but it was worth the price. The environment was quiet since we showed up at 8 or 9 in the evening.

Awful just awful. Made an online order at 8:30 got there at 9 had to wait till 9:30 for them to finish my food. Got my food, opened it and they put little plastic trays in it to seperate the food and just ruined the toppings on my pancakes. There were barely any hash browns paid like 3 bucks for a quarter of a potato. Absolutely abysmal. Will be doing online ordering from IHOP from now on. It's just across the street. Also terrible service. Or rather just disrespectful service. You should not ask for a tip if your service was awful.

This Denny's location should be embarrassed for their poor performance and pitiful customer service. I ordered a pancake combo with eggs and hashbrowns. I specifically requested that the bacon be crispy and not flaccid and limp. What I received was what I said I didn't want. My coffee was lukewarm at best, and the hashbrowns were just blah. A male walked into the dining area and began picking up the dishes at the empty tables. He proceeded to talk loud at some other worker towards the back, that it noticeably startled several of the diners, including me. This behavior is not professional at all. But, I guess it's accepted. I was charged $16 for a plate of cold mess, lukewarm coffee, and an earful of useless unwanted conversation amongst the Dennys staff. Eat at your own risk because the food is not served at its best.

The Bourbon Chicken Skillet was actually really good. I went in thinking I was going to have breakfast, but this kept pulling me back on the menu, so I ordered it and am glad I did! My waitress was efficient & attentive.

We walked in with a rather large party of 14. The host was nice, but as soon as the server came by, it was just attitude. Another group came in, pointed at us, and said they had to wait because of us. The server said something along the lines of “why they be here” to the other group. She was clearly talking about us but avoided looking at us, and when she did, it was with a nasty attitude. We were polite and said we didn’t mind waiting and were totally fine with other parties being seated before us. But then she told another group that someone “walked in on her” and kept complaining about us. If she had just respectfully told us that she was busy and seating our group would be tough, we would’ve understood. The wait wasn’t the issue at all. It was the way she treated us, the way she talked about us, and how unprofessional she was. She kept talking about us from across the restaurant, even pointed at us, and said the wait would be long because of us. It sucks because this was my uncle’s first time there, and now this is the experience he’s left with. We had talked the place up before going. Really disappointing. I hope she finds some happiness or peace in her life so she can treat people who are being nothing but polite and understanding a little better.

I recently visited Denny's, and I had an excellent dining experience. The restaurant offers a delicious selection of meals, especially their steak with vegetables, which was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The vegetables were fresh and complemented the dish perfectly. The service was outstanding; the staff was friendly, attentive, and ensured a pleasant experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making it a great place for a relaxing meal. Overall, I highly recommend Denny's for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service. I will definitely be returning! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We came in at 930 at night. There were 2 other people besides my husband and I in the restaurant. The waitress immediately stated “I’m the only server tonight” to which we replied “That’s no problem at all”. However, the food was AWFUL. My husband’s hash browns were burnt. The sizzlin skillet I ordered was so hot I couldn’t eat it, and overcooked. It burnt the roof of my mouth. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak omelet, the steak was burnt also. I have pictures but can’t post them.

Chick-fil-A is a popular fast-food chain known for its chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and sides. Despite long lines, customers are greeted by friendly staff who take their orders and hand out receipts with a smile. The efficient employees continue to provide excellent service by delivering the prepared order promptly. Chick-fil-A locations are always bustling with satisfied customers enjoying the delicious food.
Amazing service. Jacob, one of the managers was very kind and through in a cookie and offered me a free drink because I was waiting longer for my food. I wasn’t even waiting long and didn’t even think about complaining. Every chic fil a has good service but this one is top notch. Food was incredible.

Employees are great. Sat in line for 35+ minutes, while all orders were going to the order online line. For $22 dollars you’d think they could at least fill up the fries container. Not a great experience tonight!

We went through drive through on August 4 at 6:52 pm we order 2 regular sandwiches and a regular with no pickles and add Colby jack cheese, plus a cookie and 2 sweet teas Brianna in the drive through completely butchered our order she didn’t read it back to us or anything was to worried about talking to my boyfriend about small talk. When we go to the window they didn’t have my boyfriend’s name or our order…. They had one for Jessie not his names…. We got 2 spicy sandwiches 3 sweet teas a regular sandwich with pepper jack instead of Colby and no cookie… the manager barley could understand us due to langue barriers and she brought us two regular sandwiches but completely forgot my boyfriends sandwich he hates spicy food… so instead of complaining for a third time he just accepted the food and we left. I love this location I live right down the road this was the first time there service was not up to standards for a normal Chick-fil-A… and it was very disappointing.

Oh honey, it’s worth sitting int the fast moving line for. Smiling faces greet you, repeat your order. Another awesome employee is there in line to hand your receipt to you. Next employee, still polite and smiles, gives you your order and wishes you an awesome day! Just look around, not a Chick-fil-a without the longest line around. The food is great. I’ll be back!

Panera is a popular sandwiches and salads shop in town. The sandwiches here are usually delicious, and the WiFi is free for customers. The manager here is great and knows how to service her customers.
Five-Star Review for Panera Bread: “Panera Bread, you’ve outdone yourself! I’ve been coming here for seven or eight years, and let me tell you, this place is a gem in the morning—quiet, cozy, and perfect for getting some work done with free Wi-Fi and excellent coffee. And the food? Top-notch! My breakfast this morning was a knockout: the Cranberry Orange Slice hit that sweet, tangy spot, and the Garden Avo toast with fresh tomatoes? Just perfection. But what truly makes this place feel like home is Marista. She’s been a friendly face since day one, always welcoming with a genuine smile and kindness that’s hard to find. She’s easily my favorite, and she makes every visit special. Highly recommend stopping by, grabbing a bite, and saying hello to Marista. Panera Bread earns a full five stars from me!”

Solid Panera location with their signature cafe atmosphere - modern design with warm wood tones and coral accents. Love their new digital menu boards and the convenient rapid pick-up area for online orders. The breakfast sandwich I tried was done well with fluffy eggs, though tables could use more frequent cleaning during peak hours. The spacious seating area has a mix of booths and tables, with their signature pendant lighting creating a cozy ambiance. Pro tip: Join their Unlimited Sip Club (spotted on their cups) if you're a regular - it's great value for coffee and drinks. The exterior is well-maintained with good accessibility features and bollards for safety. While the food quality is consistently good (those cheese eggs look perfect!), knocked one star off because the tables needed better attention during my visit. Still a reliable spot for fresh-baked goods, soups, and sandwiches when you want something a step up from fast food. Best for: Quick business lunches, coffee meetings, or grabbing breakfast on the go. Their rapid pick-up system is efficient if you order ahead through their app.

Am I the only one who noticed that the fountain machine is really dirty on the outside and it has mold... It makes me wonder how much bacteria and toxins are holding inside the machine. Pay attention, this machine needs to be replaced. I already mentioned it at the restaurant. Please mention it to the restaurant too, so that they can do something... It has been like that for more than a year, I don't know how they pass food inspection..

I don’t normally complain on reviews but I wanted my ham :( I did switch the provolone cheese for Parmesan but I didn’t get any ham and barely any cheese, mostly just spread. I did a pick up order and I drove off with it before I noticed. I did still eat most of it because I was hungry but it’s pretty annoying to pay $10 for two pieces of bread wirh sauce.

The food is amazingly good The service sucks. They want you to use kiosks and order yourself instead of a human actually taking your order. For a place so expensive people deserve better than that. Please do better, especially for the elderly and handicapped population.

I love panera, but I want to let yall know so it can be fixed. The soda machine tastes like mold. I ordered water but I could not get past the taste, so then I tried the brisk raspberry tea and it still tastes like mold. I have to take my food somewhere else and eat so I can get something to drink..

Ok so, I did an online order for pickup. There's a drive thru so, I thought it would be quicker to obtain my order. First of all, my sandwich had cheese on it. I didn't order it with cheese. It was also a "kiddie" size sandwich. It was not a regular slice of bread as you would make at home and then slice it in half. They did get the amt of onions correct for me. Now, let's move on the the salad. OMG!!! Very little chicken in this salad. And, the romaine lettuce was so wilted, I couldn't catch it with the fork they game me. They also gave me some salad dressing that tasted old! Very old!!! I hope after they see this, they will make an effort to sell crisp vegetables!!!! And please don't think ur getting an adult salad. it's small too! This was my first time at this location. I was very disappointed!!!

Despite the challenges of managing a fast-paced environment, the staff efficiently handled changing hours due to short staffing. Customers appreciated the swift and accurate service, expressing their anticipation of returning to this establishment in the future.

**Title: Disappointing Breakfast Experience** I recently visited McDonald's for breakfast and had a rather disappointing experience. The main issue was with the quality of the food and the service. The bacon on my sandwich was as soft as a noodle, lacking any crispiness or texture that you'd expect from a breakfast item. It felt like it was barely cooked, making the sandwich quite unappetizing. To make matters worse, the bagel sandwich was just thrown into the bag haphazardly. When we opened it, we discovered that it was disassembled, and we had to put it together ourselves. This was frustrating and inconvenient, especially when you're expecting a quick and easy meal from a fast-food chain. Additionally, the staff seemed to have no idea how to use the table plaques to bring out food. We waited at our table for a long time, only to find out that our order had been sitting at the counter. The lack of organization and communication among the staff was evident, and it contributed to the overall negative experience. It was clear that the staff was extremely lazy and unmotivated that day. The entire visit left much to be desired, and it was not the level of service I have come to expect from McDonald's. I hope they can address these issues and improve their service in the future.

Worst customer service in the drive through today ! When I placed my order I ordered two frappes with additional meals . I had no problem with the young man who took my payment at the first window but as I went to the second window the customer service with them was horrible. I got my drinks handed to me and I informed the young man at the window that I was missing a frappe. He said I was not charged for two frappes at the first window , I was like okay and got my card out and told him to go ahead and charge me then because I asked for two . He said no I needed to go around back to the drive through and order it because he didn’t have a register . I told him I was not going to go to the back of line and wait in the long line again . I asked if he can go to the back register or to the front counter just to ring me up and he said no . Then another young lady came and she very rude so I asked to speak to a manager . The manager did not come to window instead the young lady came back and said she will ring me up and took my card and told me to go park and she would bring it out to me . I said okay but I will wait for her to ring me up and give me my card first before I go and park . I couldn’t believe that she rolled her eyes at me . At this point I was really upset and demanded for the manager to come to the window . When the manager finally came to the window I told him what happened but honestly I don’t think he cared . I mentioned that from all the McDonald’s in the area this was the one with poor customer service . I will never go back i would rather drive all the way to Hewitt .

Worst McDonald's ever. Dr pepper was gross. They gave us 2 happy meals without fries and then only gave us 1 thing of fries. Our fries were only halfway full. There were kids running around the restaurant playing tag/hide and seek. Had to get my own kids out of the mini play area because a big kid was out of control. Won't be going back.

Have been here 3 times for breakfast and it's always hot, fresh and handled properly, the lady in the cash register makes sure to greet people every time someone walks in, of course people are rude and won't answer back. But it's the customers service that she's willing to provide what really counts. Everything is really clean and the lady that was in charge of the cleaning that morning was even cleaning the feet rest of the chairs, that's how you can tell when people are cleaning like is supposed to. Ladies you're doing an amazing job! It's worth the visit definitely. Give them a raise! They deserve it! 10 stars!

No one acknowledged me at the counter. Hate kiosk but attempted it wouldn't accept my pmt through the app. Canceled order and lost my code. Older woman at window came out with an attitude that we said we did get our coffee which is not what we said. 2nd and last time we will stop here as we have had issues both times.

Nestled in the heart of Waco, Cafe Cappuccino is a charming local cafe chain that effortlessly blends contemporary style with a hint of retro flair. With two locations to choose from, this beloved spot has become a staple for both locals and visitors alike. The inviting decor sets the perfect backdrop for enjoying their hearty breakfast offerings, which include delicious omelettes and scrumptious coffee drinks.
One of the best breakfast places I’ve been to in Waco. Highly recommend! My husband and I enjoyed a lovely omelette combo that came with a pancake or toast. I specifically had the taco omelette and my husband had the fajita omelette. We also got a side of corned beef hash. The coffee is also scrumptious. Highly recommend this lovely cafe. The cafe has a discount for paying in cash.

Great extensive menu , with tons egg choices and crepes and pancakes of all types many lattes cafe choices. Portions are small for breakfast there's currently an EGG surcharge fyi. And its a bit higher prices to start --> Don't order quiche it has no flavor it's either overcooked or too much milk . Worst quiche Loraine I have eaten. The fruit was bitter but they use grapefruit in fruit cup so bitter is normal but not to my personal liking. My husband got eggs HB and bacon 🥓 the bacon was perfect and 1 large pancake huge . It was fluffy. I would return to try lunch. But not breakfast Spending 35 for 2 seniors.

Today, I went to Cafe Cappuccino looking for a good breakfast in a place that I had not visited before. When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the decoration, a decoration that makes you feel good. But I don't think you are reading this review to know about how they decorated the place... 😆 When I arrived, they attended me quickly, and offered me a table. The wait to order was not that long either. I can say that the service was excellent. Although when I left there were a lot more people in the restaurant and I don't think there were many people to serve, compared with the number of people that were in the restaurant. I did knowledge that the servers were in a rush. But let's focus on my experience; it was an excellent service. 👍🏻 Now let's talk about the food. The food was good, and it came pretty fast. Everything was well cooked, but of everything I ordered, what stood out was the breakfast burrito with bacon... The bacon was crispy and flavorful, and everything in that burrito was perfect. The rest was normal, something you can find in any good breakfast place in town. Now let's rate what I ordered so you have an idea: Deluxe Breakfast Burrito with Bacon 4.8/5🌟 Pancake 4/5🌟 Omelet 3.8/5🌟 Crepes 3.5/5🌟

The food was great, and the service was great all the way up to the end. They mixed up my card with another tables and charged me for both my table ($40) and another tables ($141). They didn't even tell me, I only found out about it because I get texts when my card is used. They voided the transaction but I won't get the money back for 3 days! I was planning on going to get new shoes with the money. When I asked the manager, who was very rude what they could do to make it up to me he got very upset and kept saying that "he can't climb into the computer and fix it". I said that I would leave a bad review on Google and he said "I really hate personalities like you, go ahead and leave a bad review if it makes you feel better" (in an aggressive manner). Look at my other reviews... I don't write them often, but this time I had to. Worst customer service I have received in a long time...

Passing through and stopped here hoping there would be something for everyone. Half the food is inedible, the stuff that seems edible tastes like rubber or is over cooked. The service is underwhelming as well, minimum service to remove plates. Either the people who eat here lack taste buds or we caught a bad day from the kitchen. Definitely don't recommend.

In the 1950s, there was a fast-food chain known as Whataburger that specialized in counter-serve burgers, some of which were stacked with multiple patties. Recently, I discovered an interesting item on their menu called the breakfast burger and decided to try it before going to work. It turned out to be incredibly delicious! El Charro Cafe is a family-owned and -operated restaurant that has been serving Mexican cuisine in the Tulsa area for over 30 years. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with plenty of memorabilia from the restaurant's history on display. The food is delicious and comes with plenty of sides to make sure you indulge your taste buds to their fullest. Whether you're looking for breakfast plates or lunchtime specials, El Charro Cafe has something for everyone.
Five stars. No hesitation. The Lady’s Special was just that—special—but let’s not rush it. Let’s start with the entrance: an old-school sign, hanging confidently beneath a web of power lines, like it’s been standing tall through every era of town growth and customer loyalty. You walk in, and it’s instantly clear—this place has roots. The dining room breathes comfort: wood tones, tile floors, modest booths etched with “El Charro,” and staff who operate like seasoned pit crew members—quiet, focused, and efficient. No show. No song and dance. Just the work. And they do it well. Before anything else lands on the table, a cool glass of iced tea is placed down—dark, unsweet, honest. Then come the chips and salsa. And here’s where you already feel it: this isn’t filler, this is a handshake. Two salsas—green and red. I didn’t even need the green. That red salsa was deep and smoky, just enough heat to wake you up, and smooth enough to linger without punching you in the throat. The chips? Light, airy, and just salty enough to keep your hand reaching back. They’re golden without being greasy. Fresh without being fragile. I added a side of cheese sauce because that’s the kind of move you make when you trust the kitchen. It came out piping hot, rich and creamy - perfect for dipping, though I only made it halfway through. Not because it wasn’t good, but because the Lady’s Special was waiting. Let’s break it down. The cheese and onion enchilada was hands-down the star of the plate. I don’t know what kind of cheese they used, but it was something real. Not the stretchy, processed kind, but that bold, sharp flavor you rarely taste outside of old-school Tex-Mex spots that know the game. The sauce covering it? Deep, earthy, red, and honest. It reminded me of a place I used to hit in Dallas. I hadn’t tasted that particular nostalgia in years. The crispy beef taco was textbook classic—seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, bright tomato, and a shell that gave just the right crack without falling apart. The chalupa followed in suit: layered beans, cheese, and that same crisp base—held together just enough to be scooped clean. And let’s not overlook the beans and rice. It’s easy to mess up the sides, but El Charro treats them with the same care as the main attraction. The rice was soft, slightly tomatoey, not dry. The beans were creamy, flavorful, with that little smoky whisper from the kitchen. The service? Quiet excellence. My server didn’t crack jokes or try to upsell me. He wasn’t trying to charm me into a tip. He just made sure I was taken care of. Kept the chips flowing. Refilled the tea. Laid the check on the table as I was finishing—not rushed, but on cue. One small note: The check came before dessert was even offered. That’s a small slip in hospitality, especially for someone like me who was halfway considering a sopapilla moment. But I was so full and satisfied, it didn’t matter. El Charro doesn’t rely on flash. It doesn’t try to reinvent anything. It remembers what made Mexican-American food great in the first place—and it executes. If you want the real thing, no gimmicks, no shortcuts, just plate after plate of deeply satisfying, unapologetically old-school food—this is your place.

On the way back from seeing my friend laid to her final rest, I stopped by El Charro. I've intended to go for a long time. They were somehow missed on my Great Waco Guisada Tour a couple of years ago. This is a charming place with some nice artwork. It was empty except for three Mexican men having a meal. The servers were wonderful and so friendly and attentive. They had the crispy, light chips that I like. The highlight was the salsa. So very good. They must use some different spice or pepper. It was pretty hot, but not too hot for me given my recent spicy food kick. I brought some home for movie watching tonight. The carne guisada wasn't spicy at all. There was plenty of delicious, beefy gravy and it was so good wrapped in a corn tortilla. The rice was plain. The beans were okay. They needed some spice. A little of the red salsa cured that. Iced tea tastes so good with spicy food. I had several glasses on this hot day.

If you're looking for an authentic Mexican breakfast at the Heart of Texas, this is the place to go. Most places North of the RGV have a TexMex style that lack that México authenticity. Their salsas are delicious with just the perfect flavor for your dish. The staff makes you feel like you're eating at your family members home.

McDonald's is a well-established fast-food chain recognized for its assortment of burgers and fries. The recent renovations at one location have enhanced the overall experience. While there might be occasional wait times during busy periods, the ordering kiosks streamline the process, making customization easy. Additionally, the value menu offers great deals. Customers have praised the exceptional customer service from friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction with orders.
Horrible experience!! Employees refused to give us what we ordered in the app, and argued with us about it. We ordered a snack wrap, fries, and a burger, with sweet n sour sauce, as we were able to do in the app, for no extra charge. When we pulled up to the window, the employee refused to give us any “because you didn’t order nuggets.” He argued with us for 5 minutes and then made us pull up to wait longer, before finally bringing us our food and ONE sauce. What a joke. Chick-fil-a will give you sauce for free, with a smile, and would never even think to argue with you about it. Their business is booming while y’all are having to cut menu items and slash prices to stay afloat. Y’all need some tutoring from Chick-fil-a, or y’all are toast. Never coming back here again.

Twice I've been there, waiting forever for a simple order. I get if it's busy, but people were just sitting around not doing much, when all I needed was a sundae made in like 30 seconds. Or I'm just left in the curbside waiting, and my order is just sitting inside. Won't be going back to this location.

I ordered 3 items. I was double charged for one item. One item wasn't available-- the cappuccino. Took forever to get the refund. Only noticed getting charged 2x after leaving. Terrible experience.

It took a while before our order was taken inside the establishment. Then it took at least 15 minutes to get our order. They were booking it in the back. I will give them that. But it seemed like the hustle was for the drive-thru thru not for the orders placed inside the restaurant. The employees were friendly and the establishment looked clean. I just don't feel it should take that long to get your to-go order from inside the restaurant. We only ordered 3 fries, small nuggets, a cheeseburger burger, 2 drinks and a Whopper.
Sam B — Google review
Worker was nice when listening when I wanted my burger to have one 1 cheese on each burger, it was 2 mcdoubles. I even heard her tell the workers to only put 1 cheese, only for me to come home and have all the cheese on both my burgers, a mcdouble should only have 1 cheese anyways but they always put 2 or 3 slices.

I ordered a steak and egg bagel and got a piece of sausage rather than steak so it was sausage, egg, cheese, and mayonaisse on a bagel. Worat thing I have ever eaten. Should've asked for my money back since I clearly did not get what I paid for.

The owner is unprofessional. I was specifically told to leave after purchasing a breakfast sandwich. I do not know this guy nor am I even from Waco. Maybe he mistaken me for someone else , maybe he had a personal issue that made him want to attack a customer. I was in this restaurant a total of 8 minutes. As I was preparing to leave he approached me and said I needed to leave the restaurant is for customers only. I told him I am a customer and I just finished my sandwich. He then threw up his hands while looking at the table I recently occupied 1 minute prior when eating my sandwich. At that point I realized this is discrimination and an attack on me personally. I also observed other customers in the restaurant that were there prior to my arrival and were not confronted. I believe the appropriate way to approach someone is to ask if they are a customer. At that point I could produce a receipt and show that I picked my order up from the counter 5 minutes prior to this encounter. We are in a world where the customer doesn't matter just the money. This guy June as they pronounced is very unprofessional and out of line. I have a special place in my head for these people He is undeserving of his position. I have to assume as he did with me that he is race-ist person. That's assumptions for ya I do not recommend this place at all.
Adam F — Google review
First off I shouldn't even be eating this junk. The prices are getting ridiculous. When you go in the restaurant no one takes your order anymore because they want you to use a kiosk. The vibe I used to get as a kid going to McDonald's is gone.

My visit today, as always, was amazing! I got to try a new favorite; a brown sugar latte! Aryanna was an amazing barista, she could tell I was having a bad morning and bipolar was kicking my patootie, and I couldn't think straight. So when I asked her what her favorite was, she didn't hesitate to point me in the direction of this creamy, sweet, caffeinated goodness of a drink. Heaven in a cup is what it should be called. It's probably not on the diet, but who cares anyways,"right,,,,,,right???" Anyway, the whole store made my frown turn upside down! Their happy vibes and willingness to give me an honest opinion just to make my day a little better. Thanks guys! This will forever be my go to Starbucks. Not many people get that concept. Sometimes people keep going back to places they don't necessarily love, just because they love the staff and they make you feel like family. From someone who struggles with mental illness, this means the world to me whenever someone goes out of their way to put a smile on your face or to make your day better for no reason at all. Just because you matter to them. Thanks Aryanna and thanks to the whole morning crew at the central Texas marketplace Starbucks y'all rock!

5 Stars This Starbucks location is absolutely fantastic! The outdoor seating is incredibly comfortable and the wonderful place to work on a beautiful day. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy some fresh air while getting work done. The atmosphere is lively but not disruptive, with a steady flow of customers coming in for their daily coffee. It’s also pet-friendly, which adds to the welcoming vibe. One of the best features is the availability of outdoor outlets—super convenient for charging your phone or laptop. Overall, it’s a beautiful location and an ideal place to enjoy great coffee and be productive.

Your better-than-average starbucks, which, of course, is always a great experience. The lady gave me a free cake pop which was nice of her! Otherwise the place is really clean! A little small on the inside, but if the seats are filled, just sit in their nice seating area outside. The service is fast too, and their iced lattes are amazing!

I went through the drive through a few minutes ago and ordered an iced earl grey tea. When I arrived at the window, they tried to hand me a London fog. I explained that I don’t drink milk and asked if I can just have tea. The man explained that they don’t make iced earl gray teas, which seemed odd but okay. So I asked if they would make it with oat milk. He told me no because they already made it and wouldn’t remake it. Then a woman came up and said “Do you even know how to order drinks?” I said yes but a London fog is not what I ordered. She then said “You know this is a drive-through, right? We’re not making a tea for you in the drive-through,” as though the mini van in front of me didn’t order several frappuccinos. Then she made me pay for the tea I didn’t want and walked away.

Not my first choice but it was the only coffee shop that was open at 6 am with dine-in. I was here for about two hours this morning, charging electronics, sipping at a coffee and writing out a few emails. This was a decent Starbucks as far as the seating goes. Plenty of two-top tables with power outlets nearby. Wifi worked well. Music wasn't too loud. Coffee was... the usual.

I went thru the drive thru this morning, just having a rough Sunday morning and as soon as I got to the drive thru intercom, Hailey was on the other end being so sweet and bubbly! She is SO friendly and had a huge smile on her face to great me when I got to the window. She had my coffee and my kale and mushroom egg bites ready and waiting for me! She definitely made my rough morning a lot better!

I went in to the drive thru at around 6:15, Me and my sister had our German shepherds with us so we got them pup cups and our regular drinks. Like 10 minutes later my dog stepped on my drink and it spilled everywhere and broke the cup. We went back to the starbucks to buy another one and she gave me a new one for free. So sweet. I think her name was Zamara or Samara (Sorry if I spelled it wrong) But shes amazing and so sweet. This Starbucks truly values your experience and it shows & our drinks were amazing. I definitely recommend. Our dogs also loved the pup cups.🤗

The gentleman taking orders in the drive thru at Central Texas Marketplace location has an unfriendly, monotone voice and lacks the Starbucks brand personality, it borderlines rudeness. One of the reasons why I switched back to Starbucks is the cheery disposition of the baristas to get my morning started right. Perhaps he needs more customer service training? Just a suggestion.

Whataburger located in Waco, Texas is amazing. The staff is very friendly and professional. The food was awesome. This store was very clean. We will return to this location again. We highly recommend this location. Great job.

I am beginning to notice a pattern with Whataburger. This is the second one I've been to since I've gotten to Texas and pretty much the same experience. I've heard people rave about the food here but I find the quality to be worse than anywhere else. The burgers are sloppy, the buns are stale and the meat is paper thin & chewy. They take no pride in their product. The people here not only screwed up my order but when I brought it to their attention then didn't even care. This was after they forgot to even fill the order until I bought it to their attention. Thank you for now ruining my entire day, as well as my aspirations in regards to your establishment. You are definitely not what I was expecting.

Other than the service being a touch slow... although I do understand the spicy chicken sandwich takes several minutes to cook, everything was great. The food was hot and fresh, the dining room clean and friendly employees.

Kept being asked I'm sorry by the kid at the speaker. Fix........your .......speaker .........and get your crew on the same page. Assistant mgr was explaining that dry meant no mustard or mayo and I asked for mayo, No Mustard on my #1. Food is ALWAYS GOOD, but communication through a goofy speaker ruins my time and reflects poorly on management. The kid helping me left the window and the manager asked him to come back and stay at the window to help. Lack of training obviously. Not blaming either kid but train your night employees because there's going to be a lot of frustration for staff and customers. Do better Whataburger on Valley mills!

Almost left as there was one guy in line at the counter waiting when I got there and no help in sight. In fact, a gentleman who came in after me did leave after waiting with us a bit. Finally, someone came to the counter and took our orders. I ordered the chicken sandwich meal to go. I waited quite a while for it as well. There were many people after me given their food right away. Some of these were call ahead orders so I get it but not all. I was waiting on the side at the counter closest to the bathrooms. I believe that was my mistake. I noticed people were waiting by the kitchen were asked their number and given food. Once, I moved over there and was seen, they asked for my number "2" and was then given my bag that was sitting there. All and all the sandwich was fine. Fries were a bit soggy. The fancy ketchup is good. I definitely wouldn't recommend this location.
Roberta P — Google review
This is not the first extremely slow service experience I have had at this Whataburger. And even after waiting the food seems like it has been sitting for a long time (not fresh). I think they are chronically understaffed. At one point there was one person eating and 9 people waiting. My food took about 25 mins.
C M — Google review
Gary was an exceptional team member. He was very courteous and helpful. He communicated effectively, making us feel at ease about the longer wait time. He is exactly what this location needs.

I was here last night (5/13/25) I waited about 20 mins for me to get to the window and pay bc the line wouldnt move. I pay and was asked by the lady manager to move to a parking space. Which I was waiting for 15 mins to get a whatachiken combo...absurd! No one ever came out. So I went inside and asked about my order to a young lady. She walked to the back came right up and handed my order. So I guess it had been just sitting there. Sure enough when I got home it waa cold and the chicken was hard. Very bad service. My dinner was ruined.

I order the new valentines drink, i added dry strawberries, on my drink light whipped cream so they can put my dry strawberries two scoops on top, and when i go pick up my order, they give me a ugly drink that doesn’t have my dry strawberries on top, they blended with all the other flavors, comon its dry strawberries supposed to be on top not blended 🙄 the drink was strawberry flavor already, then the lady just said oh you need to sayi it you not wanted blended 🙄 this’s nasty

Nothing like coming in at 12:32 on 25 April only to not be greeted or acknowledged and left standing at the front counter ready to order. Only to still not be helped or even looked at for 5 minutes and leave with nothing. Definitely won't ever return.

Most of the people here are nice but the white guy with the accent and greyish hair is so rude for no reason. I asked them to remake my hazelnut espresso because it was way too milky and sweet and they forgot my cookie crumble on top. He had an attitude about it and argued with me then took 15 minutes to remake my drink. If im paying 9 dollars for a small drink I least want to enjoy it

Employee took longer to make my order because he was busier talking to his co-workers about the new car he had just gotten! I personally felt that was a conversation that could have waited especially given how big of a hurry I was in. It just rubbed me wrong and left a bad taste in my mouth. My banana bread and Frappuccino was excellent though.. Unfortunately...I did not get the young man's name.

Staff was wired up. They automatically put a five dollar tip on my order and I didn’t even notice because I scanned my app and I just happened to look at the receipt on my app and noticed it was a five dollar tip on a $4.76 order…beware. Make sure you’re checking your receipt. There was about six girls working in there and it seemed chaotic. Will not return to this location.

Jack in the Box offers a menu filled with burgers, chicken, tacos, and breakfast items. The fast-food chain is known for its surprisingly good food and service. With a history dating back to the 70s or early 80s, it has made a comeback as a popular dining option. Customers have praised the quality of food, cleanliness of facilities, and excellent service at this establishment. If you're in Oklahoma, Jack in the Box provides a new fast-food restaurant option worth considering.
Decent stop for early dinner. Good service, they were wiping tables down throughout our visit (always a good thing). Food was hot & fresh. Tiny Tacos are fun & got lots of different dips to try.

Older female and middle aged guy that walked away during our order was rude. Was an act of god to order food, then fry’s was cold and lady just dropped bag on counter and said here yo food. Burger had 1 piece of bacon on it. Can say I will never eat at this jack in the box again. Solely due to staff and food prep.

Very poor customer service! We were treated very poorly by the lady and manager at this location. Part of our order consisted of a croissant and ham. They were ringing it up incorrectly we told them it was just a side of ham and side of croissant. He got so heated up that told us to go in there and do it our selves and slammed the drive thru window on us. I have worked for fast food restaurant for 4 years and in customer service for 20 years and this is no way to treat anyone! We left to another location were they got the order right but same thing with customer service. Very rude told us to you have to wait! I am also attending drive thru! We get it. There was no one in the restaurant and only one car in drive thru and the rest 4 were cooking 🙄. For who? A customer behind us ended up leaving saying unbelievable. I will definitely will never stop by at these locations or city. My recipe attached were one location Was able to charge me correctly while the other one said they couldn’t. No stars for these locations.

Their burgers are TINY!!! especially any kind of "Jr" burger or "single" or "classic" burger . Their Frosty's went from the BEST prices ice cream in central Texas to bring more expensive than Dairy Queen or any other fast food or ice cream option I know of. The app does have good rewards but if you don't use those you'll be over paying. The Drive thru is always very busy and often backed up so be weary with parking anywhere near the drive thru if you want to avoid getting stuck trying to back out of your parking spot. Parking overall tends to be pretty poor. Considering the busy factor of this store, they do manage to get your food out fast enough if you're not really in a hurry.

This restaurant could be SO much better than the experience I had. Although the employees were kind, the food was awful and overpriced. First, the Jumbo Jack cheeseburger was cold and had one instead of two pieces of cheese. Second, I paid extra for curly fries, also cold. However, I returned the fries and the cook made some fresh and was very kind about the replacement request with No ugly attitude.. score!! They did get my soda right. I have included pictures of the actual menu items I ordered to compare to the photos of what I received. Big difference-HUGE!! Come on Jack, for almost $11, y’all can do better than this!!

Came to get food at 5am before we got on the road to head out of town. The lady taking pur order was very rude and rushing us to order our food and very rude when we asked for ketchup and sauce for our fries and tacos. The lady shut the window as I was talking to her. This location is by far the worst. Nobody was in line behind us nor pulling up. Nobody was inside either other than the employees.

I love the grilled cheese best i ever had at any fast food place till this one. The ITALY LOCATION WAS SOGGY ON BOTH SIDES I WENT BACK IN AND ASKED THEM TO REMAKE ANS THE NEXT ONE WAS SOGGY ONE SIDE AND A STELL SLIGHT CRUNCH ON THE OTHER . THE CHEESE SEEMED TO BE OLD LIKE TRIED TO REMAKE AN OLD ONE. I give 3 stars cause the manager did immediately offer to make another. I was wandering if they ever had a GOOD grilled cheese This was my second from that location with that type of product. I go on my third time and it's the same I'm out... That's the worst I've ever had.
