Great experience. Normally there is a wait to get a seat, but not today. We ordered the Chilaquiles, 2 egg breakfast, chicken biscuits and gravy, Salted Brown Sugar Bliss. Wasn't a fan of the Chilaquiles, although normally that's my go to at restaurants. Loved the Chicken biscuits and gravy. The salted brown sugar Bliss was wonderful and I would order it again.

Steak and eggs were really well priced for what you get and the quality. Coffee cake was also a great addition. Great coffee as well. Well worth a visit for breakfast if you feel like splurging occasionally

We hosted a bridal shower here and it was the perfect venue for our group. The staff was so helpful and the whole process was seamless. We rented the private room and it was set up so beautifully. I highly recommend getting the white table linens, greenery, and cake as well. Thank you for making our day extra special!

The food at Blum Kitchen was absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and made with care. You can really tell they put love into their dishes. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal!

The breakfast burrito was solid — one of the better ones I’ve had lately. The French toast, not so much… still soggy and undercooked. But the real letdown was the service. We sat forever before anyone brought water or coffee, and once our food arrived, it was radio silence. No check-in, no refills, no chance to ask for extra salsa. Meanwhile, half the staff looked like they were on a break at a family BBQ — just hanging out in groups, chatting it up while we sat there trying to flag someone down. Customer service clearly wasn’t on the menu.

Been here dozens of times. The food is delicious. Service is weak and mostly inattentive. They are a 5% service fee to every check for no reason and then calculate a recommended 20% tip on top of that. The staff has gotten too comfortable and don't pay attention to the needs of the Clients. Usually a local spot like this the more seasoned staff are the best but here it's reverse. The more seasoned staff gives you the most attitude and newcomers are the nicest. Every single time the fruit here is old and not fresh. They save it from the previous day and it's always soggy. Always. My kids stopped ordering the fruit. Having said all that, the food is noteworthy delicious. YMMV

Cute spot! Woah Dirty Chai Latte is AMAZING. I would come back just for that. Wasn’t the biggest fam of their homemade jam personally. Granola bowl was good, but wasn’t expecting all granola with a tiny side of yogurt, it was a little odd since you’re essentially just eating dry granola- still good though.

Divine breakfast food! My friend suggested we try this popular restaurant down the street from her hotel while we were in town. There was a long line outside on a Thursday morning and it was moving pretty slow. They have a large menu selection and everything on it looks good. We were drooling standing in line to order and watching all the delicious looking dishes being delivered to the other customers at their tables. You order at the counter with the friendly staff and are given a number stand. Open seating and there is lots of it inside and outside. A popular item was their giant cinnamon buns and it was so good! Fluffy and not too sweet. I ordered the chilaquiles and it was good too though I wish the salsa was thicker. My tortilla chips were drowning and getting soggy. My friend who ordered the grilled cheese sandwich said it looked good but fell short. She claimed it was a bit too sweet. Another friend ordered the omelet and loved it. The pancake was fluffy and perfectly cooked.

Visited Cafe Topes for breakfast on a Friday morning, and it was a pleasant experience! The place wasn’t too crowded, which made for a relaxed vibe. I ordered the Crack’n Eggs, and they nailed it; eggs were perfectly over-easy, the potatoes were well-seasoned, and the crack was tender and cooked just right at medium. My wife got the Classic Benedict; one egg was spot-on, but the other was slightly off. The country ham was super thick and hearty, though we prefer thinner Canadian bacon. Still, it was good quality. The Bloody Mary was a miss for her, hard to pinpoint why, but maybe the wine-based vodka or lack of that rich, tomato-y kick we love. On the plus side, they handled my wife’s shellfish allergy with care, and she had no issues after the meal. Bathrooms were clean and nice, with two unisex options. The water setup was, let me say, different; the pipe looks like it comes from the roof, so jokingly, I felt like I was drinking roof water! It tasted fine, though, and seemed well-filtered. Overall, solid spot with great food we’d come back!

Stopped into Café Topes based off of the recommendation, and we were so happy that we stopped in. We started off with a dirty cinnamon bun and then moved on to lunch. Everything was very flavorful. We actually couldn’t even finish the three tacos. There was so much food.

Okay, so, this place was GOOD good. It was poppin', which is a great sign, but despite how busy it was, the service was super fast and totally on point. The food was positively sublime, with perfect runny eggs on my benedict and a side of fruit that was actually fruit you want to eat. The standard menu is already phenomenal, but the specials were also a fun surprise and sounded incredible. Basically, Cafe Topes knows what they are doing, and I am here for it. ❤️

Order at the counter and find/wait for an open table. Dog friendly. Ordered the country fried steak, the 222, the chilaquiles, blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes, and the cinny roll. The food was amazing, I'll be back to try more.

In the heart of town, a delicious breakfast place with great service! 👍 Lots of seating, inside, outside and on the street/sidewalk. 👍 Extensive menu, everyone can find something. 👍 Several home-made fresh squeezed juices (delicious, albeit expensive). 👍Great service from Luis. Also great buss and host service (did not catch his name). 👍 Appreciate they offer potatoes either hash brown, or whole style and several veg options as well. 👍 Very large portions.

We stopped into Swami’s in Carlsbad for brunch and had such a great experience! For food, we ordered the Chicken Teriyaki so good, tender, and flavorful. I also got the Buffalo Burger, but swapped the bacon for an extra egg, which was a perfect choice. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. On the drinks side, I tried the iced matcha latte with 2% milk light, refreshing, and just right. I also had a double dirty chai (hot), which was absolutely amazing, my boyfriend even said it tasted like it was made just for me. The bitter but had a slight sweetness to it, exactly how I like it. We sat outdoors since the weather here is so much nicer than back home in AZ and humid TX absolutely perfect for enjoying brunch. Service was quick and friendly, and our server even shared that the restaurant is named after a nearby meditation center, which was such a cool tidbit. The location is great too on a quiet street, just a short walk from the beach and the village center. Relaxed vibe, great food, and friendly service. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

Recommend! Stopped Friday morning on our way to Comic-Con. Fabulously kind and efficient service - love the Padres restaurant shirts on the waiters! Good food delivered quickly, would love to stop by again for the corn beef hash benedict and fantastic hash browns

In an older building (home?) Just a bit N of the busy intersection . The food and service were FABULOUS. We enjoyed a great breakfast. I had gluten free options also.

Food was delicious and staff were very friendly.. only cons are motorcycles reving loudly as they pass the restaurant one of the bad sides of being on the main street.

Multiple locations in North County for good reasons… fantastic food not limited to breakfast. I especially enjoy the breakfast croissant when I come. The açaí bowls are large and filled with fresh fruit. The staff is super friendly and it’s a casual atmosphere. Worth a visit if you want plenty of choices.

This is an amazing place, the service was the best part of the experience. Here I think everyone is a bilingual so that is a plus. The chilaquiles with chicken was really amazing dish. Very well done with a magic flavor I from Mexico and this is exactly that flavor over there. The waitress super cute and polite all the time putting attention at the table.

A very pleasant brunch eatery next to the railroad tracks. The food was decent, but our server was wonderful and attentive. The outdoor seating area was very relaxing and comfortable. The chicken pesto sandwich was pretty good and the thin cut fries was good as well. We also tried its appetizer of heirloom tomatoes, avocado, Burrata cheese and toast that was pretty good, but wasn’t memorable. It does close at 2:30 P.M. so plan ahead.

This isn’t a negative review—just an honest one. We ordered three items: the bell pepper soup was okay, the chicken sandwich didn’t hit the mark, but the mushroom omelette was actually quite good. Service was very slow. It was a busy weekend brunch, so the delay was understandable, but it did feel like they could’ve used more staff to handle the rush. That said, our waiter was incredibly sweet, which made it hard to be upset about the wait. Personally, I don’t see myself coming back, but I wouldn’t discourage others from trying it. It has potential, just not the best fit for me.

While the location and vibe were excellent, our visit was a bit of a letdown. A local gathering spot for simple California breakfast options. Great people watching and al fresco dining. The food is decent, but not exceptional. There was a solid basic breakfast and a tasty California veggie omelette, but the disappointing breakfast "grilled cheese" had minimal cheese, just a sprinkle of partially melted grated cheddar. No melty cheese pull that the name insinuates. As a grilled cheese lover the dish needs to deliver on the promise. But overall it's an acceptable breakfast spot for an easy, breezy start to your morning.

Excellent service and super cute ambience! Food was amazing. We got the carnitas Benedict, angus short rib and hashbrown cakes and the cornmeal pancakes. It was beyond delicious and the portions are super generous. Would definitely recommend!

Delicious! This was my second time here . I had ordered the maple chicken lettuce wrapped with egg whites with a side of house salad. Others in the party ordered the steak/eggs and Monterey omelet with vanilla bean yogurt. We have enjoyed our food. Service was excellent and Ambiance was like an outdoor patio setting. Benches were a little high for my guests. I also ordered a Kyoto ice coffee. It was ok. I truly enjoyed the food and will come again.

Garbage service, took forever for everything to get to us, the food is bland with literally no seasoning whatsoever, they don't even use salt. The chai latte was good (you know, 10 minutes after I ordered it...), but everything else was tasteless and pricey. I would not recommend to anyone period

I ordered orange juice and the Two Eggs Breakfast. I had my eggs scrambled, I chose the fruit versus hash browns or breakfast potatoes, and the biscuit versus toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, no brown overcooked spots. Before I chose the fresh fruit I asked my server, Deena, how it was and she said it is very good and she was right. As you will see from the pictures and video, there was a great assortment and it was delicious. I also asked Deena about the biscuit versus toast and she said definitely biscuit. Servers are so helpful in guiding me. The biscuits are made fresh and they contain cheddar cheese and rosemary. Awesome! I was telling Deena how delicious the biscuit was and the chef, Brad, came out, and he was very modest about the biscuits. It was delicious. Brad then shared about the organic jelly he makes and I used all of it. This was one of my All Time best breakfast meals!

I absolutely loved it here . The staff are so friendly and the muffins were delicious. We sat outside on a slightly cool day, but we had heaters next to us, keeping us nice and warm.

I definitely give this place 5 stars. The food was excellent. The people who work there are super nice. And they have real half & half for coffee! I love the location, the stone building is really pretty and it's surrounded by beautiful landscaping and flowers. Definitely keep this on your Carlsbad breakfast cafe list!

The Daily News Cafe offers a delightful outdoor dining experience. The fence helps to reduce traffic noise, which only adds to the moment. Many people were enjoying the outdoor seating, to appreciate the wonderful crisp weather of Carlsbad. I valued my dining moment to collect my thoughts. The charming staff ensured my coffee cup ☕ was full, which I appreciated. Coffee seems to help process my thoughts.

Breakfast here was the highlight of our trip. The service was speedy and very nice. The food was outstanding. We had omelettes, Benedicts, hash browns, and biscuits. Everything was beyond delicious. Great atmosphere out on the patio as well. Can’t recommend highly enough.

From scrumptious burgers and mouthwatering sandwiches to delectable baked goods and tasty drinks. Plenty of great seating with great service. Enjoy a great meal and take a brief stroll to some fantastic local shops or take in the beauty of the amazing Pacific Ocean. Parking nearby or even hop the train and take a brief walk to this fine establishment.

NAKED CAFE @ CARLSBAD My boyfriend raves about this place so many times, and I mean so much that he brought me here to try! We got seated fairly quickly on a sunday morning, and it was pretty busy, but they have tables inside and outside. We ended up getting lots of things, the Green Heart Quesadilla, Bacon & Avocado Toast, Strawberry Chocolate Chips Pancakes, and a large Hot Cocoa.I have no words, because this has fully turned me into a breakfast person, because I need this every day! Each dish was so delicious, I really enjoy the Bacon and Avocado toast, as it was smeared with this delicious pesto spread, and had potatoes on the side.The crunchy bacon was fantastic, and having the sweet strawberry chocolate chip pancakes were fantastic. I wish there was a bit more strawberry in the pancakes however. The hot cocoa is a MUST, if you're a fan, it's a huge cup that looks like it's over the top full, and with a large amount of whip cream, it just melts in your mouth. I also tried my boyfriend Green Heart Quesadilla and WOW, this was fantastic as well, also has that creamy pesto spread in it. Overall, we really enjoyed the environment, the waiter was kind, and the art around the store was pleasant to see of artists (the art is also for sale!) Parking is a massacre, it's a large complex with limited room, so l'd definitely recommend doing street parking or just be aware you might be waiting!

My son's eyebrows lifted perceptibly when I mentioned the name of the restaurant. All the servers, however, were fully clothed and the place was jumping! Despite that we were promptly seated. Mimosas hit the spot. He ordered the Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes (again) but his plate was soon naked, although with a maple syrup veneer. My wife ordered the Bacon Avacado Toast with extra crispy egg whites - which they sure delivered! I ordered the Green and Red Pagoda, a dish which featured a side salad. It felt healthy. Everything was delicious, and our server was cheerful and attentive despite having her hands full. A great healthy option for breakfast in Carlsbad; just don't expect THAT kind of show!

We enjoyed brunch at the Naked Cafe on a recent Sunday morning. We sat outside of the restaurant in a very pleasant setting, along with other people and their dogs. This is a very dog-friendly restaurant and they even have a doggie menu to go along with the people menu! We ordered the Artichoke Scramble and the Solstice Burrito, along with Moroccan mint tea and the mimosa flight. Everything that we ordered to eat in and take out was delicious, well-prepared, and served in a reasonable amount of time. The staff were friendly and attentive. The inside of the restaurant is relatively small, but well-decorated on the walls with beachy art and prints. Overall, the Naked Cafe is well worth a visit and they do a great job.

Always a great experience, I have never had a bad time. The coffee is great and the food is good. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I finish my plate every time.

Everything was delicious! Ordered the Moroccan mint green tea latte and hearty green heart quesadilla. They did not disappoint! 😉 and our server (Ashley ?) I think was her name. She had the tarts on her legs and she wears glasses - she was awesome! Super sweet and nice. She did a great job!! Thank you!

It’s a breakfast joint located in the heart of the village. It’s organic and tasty food. It’s good fresh food and many vegan options. The drink menu looks great too, try to mushroom latte. I think it’s a great cafe for Carlsbad where there is no amazing food.

First time trying the Broken Yolk Cafe and it was good, but didn’t quite live up to the hype in my head. I love breakfast and was hoping for a little more wow factor. The Huevos Rancheros were good, but not great. The custom omelette was similar. The fruit was fresh and juicy. The service was great! Plenty of room for dining, with outdoor seating options. Maybe a little better next time.

My granddaughter and I stopped by for breakfast, and we had such a lovely time! The staff was super friendly, and we were lucky to have Emma as our server. She's new, and John is showing her the ropes. I must say, Emma did an amazing job and was so accommodating! We really enjoyed our breakfast together 🥞🍳🥞🍳.

Food was delicious. Ranchers skillet and salmon avocado toast were both enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend the Bloody Mary flight. Wine-based vodka and wine-based tequila is one of the worst experiences my taste buds have experienced. Definitely skip that and stick to their delicious breakfasts.

It was extremely busy on the Sunday that we visited at approximately 12 noon. Staffing was down by 20%, but our server was very attentive and amicable despite running around like a chicken. Food and drink came out fairly soon and was quite good. We had the soup and sandwich combo. Sandwiches were really good. My soup, chicken vegetable, was too salty. However, the tomato basil soup was excellent. The spice donut holes with cream cheese frosting on the side made for a great shareable appetizer. We enjoyed our meal that very busy day.

Our party of three waited almost 40 minutes because the restaurant was relatively short staffed which I understand. The hostess quickly took our drink order. Unfortunately, about three tables seated after us had their orders taken. A table seated approximately 10 minutes after us requested that “John” be their server. John promptly went out and took their order and spent quite some time with them. After waiting 25 minutes, my son informed the hostess that we haven’t had our order taken and others after us had ordered. I saw the hostess tell a female server. Once a table seated after me received their food I became pretty upset since we since haven’t had our order taken. John the manager then tried to blame “then confusion” on the hostess since she took our drink order. I found that pretty unprofessional. I have no issues with the hostess since she was helpful and pleasant. John tried to give me a card for a free entree but I declined since I will not be visiting the Broken Yolk in Oceanside again.

Fantastic dining experience at 20|Twenty inside the Westin Carlsbad! The atmosphere is upscale yet inviting, with great views and a relaxed vibe. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had the scallops, salmon, asparagus, and mashed potatoes — all cooked to perfection. The smoked old-fashioned and house Cabernet were both excellent. Highly recommend for a classy night out or special occasion!

Would’ve loved to have given this place a higher rating, but just couldn’t. Although the ambiance and service was excellent, the food was disappointing. I had the scallops and he had the swordfish. The swordfish was overcooked and dry, the topping was a bold Sicilian blend of olives, tomatoes and spices with breadcrumbs that overpowered the fish and he scraped it off. My scallops were cooked perfectly, but unfortunately they decided to paired them with undercooked pea tendrils that weren’t chewable and a base of puréed squash that didn’t complement the flavor of the scallops. The side grilled asparagus and the desserts, however, were delightful. I had the strawberry gelato and he had the lemon tart (temp replacement for the limoncello cake). Yum!!!

We stay at Westin and Sheraton in Carlsbad every time we come back to San Diego on our home leave. Breakfast for Bonvoy elites is complimentary when you trade off welcome points - and there’s lots of options and it’s always filling. But what today’s experience over the top was our waiter Henry - friendly, great sense of humor and so attentive. Such a talented server. His smile and friendliness made our day amazing!

Stopped by for quick lunch during what seemed to be a slow time, seeing as we were the only table in the restaurant. The server was very friendly and we ordered right away. She came back shortly to let us know that they were out of the crab cakes and the beer we ordered. A bit after that she came back to let us know they had crab cakes again. All the food came out together including a med rare burger, which came out past well done. The crab cakes were the highlight of the meal as the scallops seemed a bit off and were a little too warm for my liking seeing as they were served crudo. We weren’t able to have the burger corrected in time as the server didn’t come back for a good while to check on us. When she did and I told her about the burger she simply said she would let the chef know for next time. I was a bit flabbergasted by that response but it might be because the kitchen was closed by that point. When she dropped off the check I noticed the burger was still on there and I waited for her to see why as I didn’t really eat it and it wasn’t cooked to temp. I went looking for the server and when I couldn’t find her I gave the check to the bartender to close out with him. Just not an overall good experience.

Overall this was a good place for a decent breakfast. We were there around 10:30 and they seemed to be understaffed so it took awhile to get seated, waited on and served. However, I wanted to give a "shout out" to the hostess, Kara. She went out of her way to make sure we were being accommodated. It was obvious that she wanted to make sure everyone was being taken care of. Thank you, Kara for being an outstanding hostess.

This review covers several meals I had at 20|Twenty over the course of four days; overall I was very pleased with the quality of the food and service that I received here. The produce in particular was really fresh, as the fruit plates that I received were all perfectly ripe, sweet and freshly cut with a different variety every day. The salads were another highlight, especially the Caesar and the creamy dill dressing ones with the addition of grilled steak, which was not only well-seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium-rare level of doneness but was an actual decent portion of ribeye. So many “steak salads” get away with serving a tiny and bland 4oz. filet mignon with nary a grain of pepper or flake of salt atop a mound of greens and calling it a day - but this place actually means it when they offer a steak add-on to a salad. The size and tastiness of the steak alone necessitates an extra star Finally, there was a surprisingly delicious olive oil cake with fig compote on the dessert menu that really stood out. The compote seemed to be made of figs and orange marmalade, and I would literally it by the case to eat as an accompaniment on top of vanilla gelato, yogurt or pancakes/waffles/French toast/crepes if it was available for sale.

So good, great food and service and the whole resort is super awesome, I had the Spanish marg, the Carlsbad cocktail the miso cod and the mashed potatoes, everything was awesome and the vibe was laid back California, I suggest sitting on the patio and attire was everything to dressed up to casual to gym wear. Highly recommend, free shuttles and pick up request to take you back to your room are available as well ♥️

Always a great place to bring friends for breakfast or coffee . Located next to the beach you can’t go wrong with their menu. Between the mouth watering quiches, flavorful Benedict’s and fluffy pancakes you’ll walk away stuffed and glad you came .

This morning's coffee date landed at Cafe Elysa. Elysa serves a bold cup of coffee with tasty treats. They only offer outdoor seating, which allows the patrons to enjoy Carlsbad weather. Most of the outdoor seating is covered. I found myself savouring coffee by the fire pit. The fire and the music added to the peaceful ambience of Elysa, where I reflected on life. With Elysa located near the road, we experienced some traffic sounds. Next time you are near Carlsbad Village take a moment to enjoy Cafe Elysa. I look forward to another cup of coffee at Elysa

You order at the counter then they give you a number that you display on your table. I ordered the Egg Plate breakfast with my eggs scrambled, crispy bacon and half fruit and half hash browns. The eggs were cooked nicely. The quantity appears less than normal. The bacon was 70% crispy. The hash browns were cooked perfectly but needs some seasoning. The fruit was hit and miss. Most of the strawberry pieces had brown spots and the honeydew pieces were a little slimy. They brought my breakfast quickly and they have a beautiful patio to enjoy it.

We stopped by for breakfast. We had the ham and spinach quiche, an oat latte, and a lavender honey latte. The portion size is crazy big for the quiches, and the fruits are fresh. The quiches were not my favorite. The services were excellent. The latte came quickly. The quiches came warm and cheesy.

I didn’t like how crowded it was in the store, but there were alot of options. Which was nice! The chai was one of the best chais I’ve ever had. The caprese avocado toast was amazing. The view was amazing. Didn’t wait too long at all. I was surprised with how busy it was that we were still able to get a table and get in and out quickly.

Me and my wife stopped here for breakfast as we were passing through, we thought it looked cute with its patio dining and it was a beautiful morning. The food was good, but it wasn't the best or anything. This place you order at the counter and they bring you you're food and then that's the end of there interaction with the customer. When we were there there was a bit of trouble finding good seats to sit and eat because there were many people sitting around drinking coffee.

Always loved coming here. Love breakfast and honestly food is great. Coffee is decent but not great. Lately we always come with our own coffee or get better buzz next door. This morning my wife and with her friends got yelled at by the owner for bringing own coffee even though they ordered food. Not the customers service you expect.

I was pleasantly surprised by Village Kitchen & Pie Shop — the food was excellent, and the place itself is incredibly charming and cozy. The atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the service was friendly and welcoming from the start. As a fan of country fried steak, I have to say theirs is one of the best I’ve had in all of San Diego. Cooked perfectly, flavorful, and comforting, exactly what you want from a classic dish like that. The bakery is also worth mentioning, the pies and pastries are really good and clearly made with care. I definitely need to come back with the family for breakfast. Highly recommended!

We are visiting from Indiana and after Mass at St. Patrick Church, we decided to stop for breakfast here. It was perfect! There’s anything you could want for breakfast, including the fried chicken livers I got! Everything was so delicious and the pies and pastries look divine. Our waitress was excellent… wish I had gotten her name. We will be back before we leave town!

We had a great breakfast! Our food came out so quickly and it was perfect. Our eggs were cooked to perfection. Our server was great. She was friendly and checked in on us often. There are beautiful flowers out front and in the back , so stop and take in their beauty as well. We will definitely be back!

Excellent experience overall! We got there around 11 am, just before the lunch rush and were seated immediately. It got pretty busy after we got there and there were people waiting to be seated by the time we left. They have a lot of seating inside and outside. They also have a big parking lot but this place is popular, so I would recommend coming in just before peak hours. We got the French toast and the chorizo scramble with a side of potato pancake and a homemade biscuit. Both plates were excellent. The French toast was just right - not too sweet, fluffy and freshly made. The chorizo scramble was a teeny bit saltier than I like, but savory, with a slight kick and flavorful. The potato pancake didn't have as much salt so the combo worked. The biscuit was decent. We went back later that day to get some pie. They didn't have the banana cream pie, so we got the chocolate banana cream pie and the boysenberry pie slices. For people who like bananas, you will love the banana cream pie. Definitely strong on the banana component! The boysenberry was just right between sweet and tart. The pie crust were flaky and not at all soggy. We have found a new favorite place for American brunch and will be back for sure!

Great breakfast spot! If you arrive before 11am Monday- Friday you can take advantage of the morning specials. The biscuit and gravy with home fries and an egg is my new crave! It does get busy, but the wait moves along quickly. The service is fast and very friendly as well. Check it out!

Vinaka is a good local spot. I am a Chai Latte snob as we brew our own Chai at home, so I usually struggle with commercial Chai. Same is true here at Vinaka. It is not bad, definitely too sweet. I believe it is made from a powder. Don’t go here on a rainy day, never enough seating. On a normal day it is fine due to the out door patio seating.

This morning, I enjoyed a coffee date with my wife at Vinaka Cafe, and the coffee was reasonably priced. Vinaka Cafe was appropriately decorated for the season of Halloween, to include the music (Witchy Woman). Located on the second floor, the cafe overlooks a beautiful garden and fountain. Vinaka offers both indoor and outdoor seating, so that you may enjoy the pleasant weather. Finally, the cafe offers a small place for toddlers to play, which is rarely seen in coffee shops. I look forward to another cup of coffee at Vinaka Cafe.

My review about Vinaka Cafe is nothing but good. The food is pretty great. I tried the BLT which comes with chips and pickles if you want them or don't want them. The menu had a wide variety of options as well. To add on the workers are filled with joy and happiness, they always crack me up and make the visit at this cafe always pleasant. And the atmosphere in this cafe is just outstanding there are some chess players there who are so kind and are friendly, someone even brought a CAT! The cat was so cute and behaved and never made any disruption and bad intentions. Overall if you’re in the area go to THIS cafe because you will most definitely enjoy it here.

Location, location, location. That's the reason for this place's success. Four of us got coffee here for the first time and all of us thought it was of poor quality. I had a cappuccino that I ended up throwing half of it away. It was very bitter and sugar couldn't make up for it.

I visit here regularly. The staff is welcoming and establishment is clean and spacious. I always get the turkey avocado with sourdough toasted. It comes with a side of chips and pickles. The cheese danish pastry is a breakfast to go to. The signature latte iced or blended is also a win for me. if you are just looking for a good pastry the homemade cookies are the best in town. I love supporting this small business.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast experience at this restaurant. Although there was a brief delay in being acknowledged at the counter, the overall breakfast experience was delightful. The Baked German Apple Pancake was a unique treat, both in terms of taste and presentation, and it was deliciously sweet on its own, eliminating the need for additional syrup. The Ultimate Egg Benedicts offered three variations, each with its own delightful twist. Among them, the one with mushroom, meat, and spinach stood out as particularly delicious and satisfying. Despite the initial delay, the overall service was good.

Had visited the original one in San Diego about 15 years ago and that memory of amazing pancakes was still there in my mind. While this is not the same place and is much smaller and less busier, they did justice to the food. We were able to find a place without waiting on a Sunday morning. There was free parking at the site. Food was as expected, fresh, hot and large serving size. Everything we ordered lived upto the hype. Baked apple pancake is a must have. Service staff were prompt and friendly. Overall a good dining experience!!

This place was amazing. The coffe was a perfect temperature. Not blistering hot and not just warm either. The service was great from the hostess to the waitress. The hostess realized that we had two small children and sat us within 8 minutes skipping the line without us asking. The waitress was patient, allowing the kids to place their own order. The food was delicious as well. We will be back again for sure!

Food was excellent. Omlettes were big and full of the good stuff. Danish harvest was super good. Cherry crepes were perfect, overall the food was worth it. Service was a little slow and the nice breakfast was ruined by an older gentleman watching videos on his phone at full volume, just wish restaurants would shut down obnoxious behavior but what can you do. If we lived nearby we would definitely give it another try.

Dirty water glasses. Asked for American cheese got cheddar, which would be easily fixed if they wrote down orders instead of remembering them. Got 4 pancakes and the smallest amount of syrup. Food was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The decor is a little too cold and stark. Food was a little too much, but at least good. The item is had was the German Pancake with extra butter. Was yummy.

I stayed in a suite with a courtyard view, and my room was very spacious. The lobby, pool facilities, hotel grounds, and bar were all very well kept. I particularly liked the adults-only pool and hot tub, as the main pool was loud with many children. The front desk and valet staff were very attentive and answered all of our questions and requests in a timely manner.

Park Hyatt Aviara is absolutely beautiful!! We stayed 4 nights and it was wonderful! They even exceeded our highest expectations! Each staff member was well groomed with five star service mentality! Rooms were impeccable in every way, supremely clean, looked freshly painted, with new furniture and high quality linens .. super comfortable bed and furniture. Everything was fresh and house keeping on their A game! The whole resort is fantastic and extremely well taken care of … meticulously maintained with a spirit of excellence! I highly recommend Park Hyatt Aviara and would definitely come back! The Miraval Spa was a healing oasis! A heavenly experience of serenity and tranquillity 🌺 Super clean. Side note, we prefer a peaceful, private quiet corner and we were very fortunate that Hyatt accommodated our request to perfection! We got the top floor - suite 505 and it was spacious and beautiful and perfect for my husband and I. Plus it has a GORGEOUS view of golf course, mountains, lagoon and Pacific Ocean in the distance. I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Park! The place is extremely pet-friendly, which made traveling with my dog so easy and comfortable. The service was highly professional and attentive—every detail was handled perfectly. The room itself was beautiful, private, and well-maintained, creating a really relaxing atmosphere. I also really appreciated the late checkout, which made the whole experience even better. Was here to attend a friend’s wedding and had the best time. The he rooms were spacious, well equipped and had spectacular views. The food options at the hotel were amazing too. The only thing I think the place could improve on is the late night snack and food options. It’s a popular hotel with weddings and I believe the late night snack option would’ve been amazing. Also, I was surprised to see that there was no minibar. I walked in wanting to grab a beer out of the mini fridge, but there was none available. Opportunity lost, but overall had an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend, esp for gold lovers it’s a great place to be.

A resort of true luxury and great service!! I really enjoy the adult pool with fantastic mountain view. Water is crystal clear (not the kids pool which is understandable. No one can keep the kids pool clean all the time). The golf course ⛳️ is amazing 😻. Driving range is complimentary if you stay at the hotel.

Five Star Resort - Globalist Treatment Reviewed May 24, 2024 My wife and I enjoyed our one night stay at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad. The resort is in a quiet area east of I-5 with sweeping views of canyons and a distant ocean view. The landscaping is maintained perfectly and the entire property is clean and extremely safe. Our room was upgraded to a beautiful one bedroom suite with two balconies overlooking the central courtyard area. The suite/rooms were very nicely appointed and maintained...definitely befittting a five-star property. The suite was comfortable and very spacious. Staff at check in and at the restaurant were all very professional. Breakfast at the restaurant was very tasty and plentiful with the Globalist "benefits". We were very pleased with the resort, the staff and the experience overall and would happily return for another visit. Date of stay: April 2024

This was my first time my family and I stayed at this resort and it will not be my last. This hotel really caters to all families and the service it provides is unlike anything I have experienced. The rooms were clean, the service was the best and catered to all our needs, the pool was spectacular I could go on and on. The 4th of July event was maybe one of the better events I have ever attended, the food, the bar, the fireworks, the band it was just perfection. I would like to thank Nate (GM) who helped us out with securing a table, taking care of us at the pool, along with Sophia (server). Night did not go quite as planned, but server Jenna made up for it by providing outstanding attention and understanding. I let her pick the meal, and Chef Humberto did not disappoint! Amazing food; great location and views. Cloud cover did not allow for the Sunset views, but that couldn't be helped. I would highly recommend PCG for a meal, and for the atmosphere. Props to Jenna who helped make an awkward situation into a positive!

This place is just wonderful, Amazing view with great service. We had fried calamari & paella 🥘 but I don't recommend the paella it was super salty & full of sauce. Fried calamari was super delicious 😋. The waiters are so kind & helpful. The service is great & fast. They also treated us with complimentary cheesecake for my wife birthday.

The restaurant is right by the ocean which provides an amazing view especially during the sunset. In my prior experiences, being near ocean justified not having the best food quality, however here the food is the main focus and I was blown by its taste and quality👌, service was also great! I had the sesame seared Ahi and my wife had the short rib, both dishes were delicious and tastefully designed👌

I’m giving 2 stars mostly because of the host. When we arrived, she didn’t greet us at all, which felt pretty unwelcoming. The restaurant was empty, and even though our reservation was at 4:00 and we showed up at 3:45, she told us we had to wait, kind of strange considering no one was there. The view is honestly gorgeous, definitely the best part of the whole place. Service was good thanks to Meshael he is really good and professional. Food was fine, but nothing I’d go back for. Overall, the experience wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t great either.

Our server did a great job. The food was on point! Aside from the amazing patio view, this restaurant is very impressive because of the dishes. If you want to see the chef in action I always recommend trying multiple appetizers. I got a few rolls and the guacamole with the crab in it. It was so good! For my main dish I had the surf and turf burrito. It was perfect because it wasn't over powering from lots of meat. It was a perfect ratio of shrimp, meat, and cheese. This place is a must try.

The good: Beautiful sunset setting and the Chilean sea bass was excellent — perfectly cooked and plated. Hard to beat the view. The bad: Even with reservations made weeks in advance, the prime oceanfront tables seemed reserved for locals. We were told, “There are several private reservations, but we’ll do what we can.” It’s a disappointing experience when you’ve planned ahead for a special evening. The seared ahi tuna was also underwhelming — nice presentation but little flavor. Bottom line: The view delivers, but the service and seating priorities don’t match the hype. Next time I’d drive 10 minutes south to Del Mar and dine at Jake’s or Poseidon, where the food and experience both feel worth it.

We enjoyed lunch at the Pacific Coast Grill (2526 Coast Highway 101). Parking is by valet ($8) only. Watching him maneuvering the cars in a very tight parking lot is worth the cost :) . The location is gorgeous, directly on the beach. We ordered Rombauer Sauvignon Blanc and their Poke Bowl along with their Lobster & Shrimp deluxe sandwich. For desert we had their hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream and brown sugar crumble. The Rombauer was delightful. The Poke Bowl was excellent. The Lobster & Shrimp sandwich was good. It was mostly shrimp and served warm. It actually tasted better when it cooled off. The apple pie was a real treat. The vanilla was very creamy and hot apple chunks delicious with the crumble topping.

Lovely diner with friendly staff and great typical american breakfast options. I had the chicken fried steak and my sister tried the Eggs benedict. We loved both! The portions are large and delicious. The highlight for me was the cute toy train track with an electric toy train near the ceiling that runs all around the restaurant! Definitely kid friendly and entertaining.

This place is in with the outlet mall. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Service was absolutely fantastic and food was excellent. We sat outside and it was beyond beautiful. Burgers, salads, fish and chips…we had this and all were delish. Highly recommend.

After checking out all the cool classic cars at Windmill Food parking lot, I had a hankering for a bacon cheeseburger at a diner...Rubio's came to mind and was close by. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and diet coke. I was grateful they had more cheese options than Swiss and American cheese. Additionally, they had cheddar and muenster, both very good alternatives to my "Sammich". 😁 I chose muenster! Bacon was thick and cooked crispy the way I like it. Fries were interesting..in a good way. Something was different about it, but I could not put my finger on it..(that's an idiom, 😁). Actually I could eat it with my fingers...hehe.., but not to know why it was different (idiom, i said that already, huh?). Service was quick and cheerful, even though it was busy. I do recommend coming here. If there was anything I would change about my meal, it would be my drink (diet coke) in a plastic drinking cup. I have a pet peeve about reusable plastic drinking cups on the edges...any deformity, chips, dents freak me out a bit....I likened it to a small child that drank out of it and chewed on the lid...shutter....( Of course, it could be a nervous adult, too).. This is why i rub my finger along the edge... Okay, okay, back to my safe place....just kidding. I do prefer to drink my soda out of a glass. I reckon y'all know why now. Hm Enjoy, come on by... Oh yes, about the plastic drinking cup...if you start doing what i do now... sorry about that. 😉😊

We liked the pancakes and Benedicts with hash browns here. Burgers are well cooked and prepared. Not tried tacos, burritos, we always chose breakfast items or burgers.

It’s been years since I had Rubys I brought my fiancee in hopes she would love the burgers and shakes. I’m very disappointed. The bun fell apart the patty tasted weird. If you’re a really big fan of burgers don’t come here. The boss should be getting better quality of beef and buns. The staff WAS AMAZING THEY DID WHAT THEY COULD BUT THE FOOD WAS AWFUL. I will never come back. I don’t think I’ll recommend people here either. ): Thank you for feeding us. We do appreciate that.

Great place for an awesome breakfast. Enjoyed a scooped wheat bagel with egg and cheese, bagel with lox and cream cheese as well as a delicious pumpkin muffin. The hot cafe latte was perfect! The selection of delicious pastries and friendly staff made it a first time very pleasant experience! Definitely recommend and would love to return.

Really tried liking this place but I’ve never been impressed, especially with how much you’re paying. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and asked them to add on bacon (extra $3). Paid $8 for a matcha latte that literally tasted like 90% water. Got my breakfast sandwich and turns out their $3 bacon comes from a bag of bacon bits. $3 for bacon bits is crazy. Not to mention the not so friendly staff this time around. This place is cute but I am consistently disappointed every time.

Cool coffee shop built into a historic train station. There is a large indoor and outdoor seating for hanging out (no wifi if you are trying to work). Coffee and food that we had was good...decent amount of food options beyond just pastries. Service was friendly...though took some time with how busy it was. There was a pretty consistent line out the door through the whole time we were there on a Saturday morning. Cool spot...would definitely go back.

Recently tried this unique coffee spot after living in the area for years and we were pleasantly surprised! Our group ordered an assortment of baked goods from these huge muffins, cookies, pastries and even this savory cheese bread and they were all amazing! The baked good section is a little chaotic but it fits well with the “old timey” charm of the place. Very cool place to come enjoy a fair priced, eclectic, coffee shop in Encinitas. We’ll take this spot over a commercial coffee joint any day. Come for the vibes, stay for their incredible cheese bread bacon thing!

Nothing exceptional but par for a coffee shop. The lattes were excellent, definitely the highlight. They have a super cute gift shop too!

Since our arrival in San Diego I was looking forward to having an authentic California Burrito. My wife and I looked around and searched for a spot that looked promising and couldn’t have made a better choice than Senor Grubby’s. This place really blew us away, from the service to the atmosphere and most importantly the food. The Cali Burrito had amazing meat, well seasoned, tender and plentiful and the right amount of cilantro, pico, cheese, and most importantly fries. It didn’t disappoint. We decided to sit out back at the bar which was nice, very casual and cozy. Also, the TJ hot dog sounded interesting so we had to give it a try. It also was delicious.

We ate here at 11:30am, and from the taste of it the meat was yesterday's. Fish and the birria were both super dry, and in huge chunks that would fall out of the burritos. For a $20 burrito I'd expect better.

This is a must eat any time I’m in the area. Tacos are amazing, yummy margaritas, salsas are sooo good, complimentary pickled carrots and jalapeños are tasty. I always sit outside and watch the Padres.

Probably the only thing edible in Carlsbad village. Super cool staff. We've tried it twice on both our vacations this fall. Great food every time. Salsa bar is awesome. We even did door dash with them and food was still hot and delicious. My only qualm was we didn't recieve any utensils but it's probably something I should have requested on my end. Otherwise a killer spot for great burritos. Not a spot I'd go for drinks though. The bar can get backed up quickly and our first visit it took forever just to close out a tab for two cocktails. Burritos yes, cocktails I'd go elsewhere.

I was hosting a day after wedding party at my AirBNB in Vista and I reached out to Senor Grubby to have them deliver food for the party a week before the event. Natalie was very helpful and attentive and got the order down and promised it would be delivered fresh and on time. She followed up with me a couple of times from the original order and was flexible on the day of when I asked her to deliver and hour earlier. The food arrived on time, fresh ands hot, and was spectacular. All of my guests complimented the food and asked where I ordered from. It was a great experience from order to delivery to eating. I highly recommend them for their service, attention to detail and the quality of the food.

2nd time here. The memory was much better. Two Cadillac Margaritas, average in taste and power. We split a ceviche and the Tu Shea burrito, added large Guacamole. Total bill $100

Food is very good and flavorful, highly recommended. I got a TJ dog and chicken rolled tacos. The rolled tacos were excellent and much larger than I expected them to be. This place has a full bar but is family friendly.

I would personally rate this place a 2 or 3, but my friends really like their hot dogs, so I’ll give a 4 for the food overall. Starting with the service, it was very poor. They didn’t have any coffee available because the espresso machine was broken, so I couldn’t get what I came for. When I asked for chai tea, I was told it was the last packet they had. I ordered waffles, which were served plain with just a few strawberries. It didn’t feel worth the price, and the taste was just okay — I only ate half. On the other hand, my friend really enjoyed his hamburger and said it was one of the best he’s had.

Great breakfast spot that was able to serve us quickly and without fuss. I ordered a denver omelette and multigrain pancake, both of which were perfect (tip: order the real maple syrup to along with your pancakes!). Our table also ordered the chorizo hash, kids pancakes, and chicken quesadilla. Everybody was happy as a clam. Do not think twice about stopping here!

This location definitely needs to work on the quality of cooking their food. I usually go to the Carlsbad location and they have phenomenal food every single time. Here at Encinitas, I gave it a second try and the food was still mediocre. My french toast came out premade from the early morning. It was not fresh or soft like hot french toast is usually off the grill. More like cold and dried out from being under a heat lamp. Then they forgot my potatoes and bacon, after a reminder it came out pipping hot which was good news. The people sitting across from us didnt even touch their food and just left. Both times I've eaten here were during the weekdays. Sadly I won't be coming back to this location until they hire more kitchen staff or improve their cooking.

I ordered the eggs Benedict with bacon, and unfortunately, it was a big letdown. The food arrived cold, the English muffins were extremely dry, and the portion was small except for the overwhelming amount of bacon, which threw off the entire flavor. The potatoes were cut too large, undercooked, and lacked seasoning. My husband did enjoy his burger, but even his potatoes were undercooked and disappointing. How do you mess up something as simple as potatoes? I’m giving two stars only because of the burger.

Loved the food and the beach vibes at this restaurant. The chilaquiles were fantastic, as was the veggie omelette. Hearty portions too so enough leftover for a second meal. A large selection of coffees, including organic options, and plenty of outside seating. We’ll definitely be back!

While they have a great variety of breakfast options most of the food is mediocre. The seared ahi wrap tasted like one of the ingredients had mold, even though the blue cheese wasn't on the ingredient list :) lobster egg Benedicts were not great as well, seafood tasted like a canned version that spent a few years in the storage. Pineapple pancakes were great, the only food item I would recommend! Also love the chill vibe of the place.

This is the original and also the very best Swami’s location. I have been coming here for two decades at least it feels like and the quality and atmosphere have been the same. Amazing! Can’t say enough good things about this location. We live in Vista and have our own swami’s, but being at the this location hits different. The vibes are so good here.

My daughter loves their smoke salmon Benedict. The way they cook the eggs was amazing! I also love my omelette.

Recently they added LavAzza coffee to their menu and that is a step up! I love their cappuccino now. Amazing food and great service. Comfortable booths to work or simply to be comfortable while enjoying a meal and great conversation. You can order two different styles of eggs benedict in one dish and any single pancake, most places want to charge for the entire stack of pancakes.

Relaxed cafe with wide selection of breakfast foods. We enjoyed "choose two benedicts" and the "southern biscuits and gravy." Both were delicious. Service was excellent and very attentive.

I really enjoyed being able to come in and have my order taken right away. Being able to pay the bill before I'm done eating is also awesome because it means I can be ready to head to work when I'm done with my meal instead of waiting on service. The steak and eggs has been a favorite lately, but the Sopes Benedict, feta avocado toast and Nutella crepes are other massive favorites.

My family and I literally come here every weekend! We love the staff, the food and the atmosphere. We always sit in Carlo’s area because he is so friendly, makes you feel welcomed and is an efficient server. We also like that with the Rewards app you can earn points towards your next meal. What a great place. We loved it. The food is AMAZING!!!! Biscuits and gray are so yuummm. Shrimp omelet was super good. The Salsa has so much flavor. You won't regret any choice. We were sunburned, half-packed, and honestly just trying to squeeze in one last good meal before heading home. Don’s Country Kitchen didn’t just give us a good meal. It gave us one of the best moments of the trip. Parking was a bit of a mess. The wait was about 25 minutes. But the second we sat down and the food started hitting the table, every single complaint vanished. Here’s what went down. ⸻ 🍽 Let’s Talk About What We Ate Tuna Melt Golden grilled bread, crisp and buttery on the outside. Inside? Melted cheese and creamy, savory tuna that had real flavor. It was rich, gooey, and comforting in the best way. Everyone wanted a bite. I should’ve ordered two. Strawberry Belgian Waffle Straight up looked like it belonged in a commercial. Fluffy waffle topped with mounds of whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Came with syrup on the side so you could drizzle as much as your sugar-loving heart desired. Breakfast Sandwich Stacked with crispy bacon, cheddar, and fluffy eggs on a toasted English muffin. It had that classic breakfast energy. And the fruit cup that came with it was surprisingly fresh and sweet. Biscuits and Gravy with Fries These biscuits were huge, soft, and soaked in thick sausage gravy that tasted homemade. The gravy was peppery and rich. Fries on the side were crispy and golden. Total comfort food perfection. Omelet with Avocado and Hash Browns A fully loaded omelet topped with fresh sliced avocado. But that hash brown? It was a giant crispy sheet of golden potatoes. Crunchy all the way through. Easily the best hash brown I’ve had in a long time. Drove up to Oceanside specifically for this breakfast and we were all happy that we did so. The flavors are great, the portions are large, and the prices are fair. Parking can be a bit tricky because they have a very small parking lot attached in front but only for about four or five cars. Otherwise it will be free street parking. We arrived around 10AM for Saturday brunch and had to wait about 25 minutes to be seated for a party of three. We felt the wait was worth it though. The food items arrived quickly after we ordered and our waitress was very polite. Inside is pretty large and they have indoor and outdoor seating options. For my first visit, I chose my favorite breakfast dish, which is Eggs Benedict and decided to order their Chorizo Benedict. It honestly had some great flavors and was almost spicy but in the perfect way. I really enjoyed it and ate every bit of it and would highly recommend it. I already want to come back and try some more dishes and would definitely consider this one of the better breakfast options in Oceanside.

Dons Country Kitchen has some of the best breakfast in town. The staff is super friendly, the service is quick, and the food is always fresh and delicious. You really cannot go wrong starting your day here and it is definitely our go to spot.

I was told about this place 2 weeks ago and have been 3 times for breakfast. The place is great, the staff is excellent (ask for Krista). Recommend the pork chops or steak and eggs. I'm going to try an omelet next. :) I love the mimosa flights!!

Heard good things about this restaurant from friends and Yelp so we had to try it out. We traveled from Camarillo to Oceanside for a full day of soccer games. Immediately were we greeted by the staff and basically had our choice of tables since it was only 8:30am. Service was prompt and friendly. Blueberry pancakes and the ABC Omelette were fantastic and portions were plentiful. Delicious!! If you’re in the area or passing by, it’s worth the stop. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious restaurant. Definitely top notch chicken, which is ethically sourced from great farms. Prices are good & portions are fair. Their fries are tasty & have lots of sauces to choose from. Fast service with very friendly staff. Overall a great place to grab a bite.

Incredible fried chicken and huge range of beer in a large informal space with lots of natural light. The fried chicken is the main event and it doesn’t disappoint. The crust disintegrates with a satisfying crunch and spicy tingle, the free-range chicken inside is super juicy. A great range of self-serve sauces means you can drench the chicken as you please. The ranch is insane, the pineapple mustard and bbq are also very good. SAUCE HACK: I would recommend mixing 2/3 bbq and 1/3 pineapple mustard to make a Chick-fil-A style sauce. Goes down so good. The sides were also amazing - both the fries and mini-biscuits were divine. Great place for a group, couples, or solo at the bar watching sports.

Order at the counter and then head in to take a seat. There’s quite a few different sauces to try and they are all pretty good, just depending on your personal preference. The food is pretty standard quality consistent with the other branches they have. Worth dropping by if you’re in the area.

You literally order outside and are presented a number. When I return and have a small party I will skip that and sit at the bar. There you can order and get “normal” service. The restaurant is large and bright with an indoor/outdoor feel and potential. The food is good. We ordered the whole bird 4/5 (perfectly cooked and nicely spiced just not the best I have ever eaten) and fries 4.5/5 (order large they are addictive). The beer selection is solid. Wine by glass or bottle in each main variety. Craft cocktails.

First time here. We got the small meal for four of us and brought some home. Very simple menu. Choice of five dipping sauces. Great atmosphere ( watching the cars go by ). The coleslaw is fantastic. Good spice on the fries. Rugged furniture. A++ joint . 👍🏿👍🏿

We went there while we were on our way to the airport to head away from all of the delicious food that we had in the area. A pal had recommended it, and they basically had me at ‘chicken.’ Holy cow were they right. It was beyond worth the stop. We were initially confused at the order outside and eat inside setup - and a little sign would’ve helped with that. We just wandered on in and saying ‘Oop.’ Once we figured that out, and got over the overwhelming ‘maybe I should get that - or that - or that - or that’ menu, we found a table and really enjoyed the atmosphere. There was baseball on the tv, there were kids having fun, and when I went to the restroom - the wallpaper made me giggle. Oh - and before I forget, the fries were some of the most tremendous fries that I’ve ever had. I’ve had dreams about them …

Really good gluten free fried chicken option, the pineapple mustard sauce is awesome. The fries from Mexican Poutine were a little overly greasy, the sauce was a little too heavy too. Overall very chill place

This morning, I enjoyed a coffee date with my wife at Corner Bakery Cafe, located in Carlsbad. As usual, I sipped on a hot cup of coffee. Coffee meets standards, but what makes the Corner Bakery shine is the warm ambience of the bakery. Music was playing in the background. The art and decorations complement the environment. There is plenty of seating, to include outdoor seating. People were dining in the restaurant either enjoying coffee and conversation or working on their laptops. If you are looking for a cup of coffee and a warm place, then you may want to come to Corner Bakery Cafe.

Breakfast is a surprise. Don't let the appearance fool you as the portions are just right. Basic breakfast and egg scramble all with crispy (emphasize on crispy), bacon is well seasoned and presented. Muffins are excellent and well sized. Just be sure to ask and point to the exact flavor and muffin since the look of the muffin may not match the flavor - it can be deceptive (in an interesting way). Overall, very good breakfast.

Very LOUD pop music playing during early morning breakfast. Asking staff to please lower volume so I could enjoy a bit of peaceful time in early morning. Staff refused. The staff enjoy the music loud. So there you have it. The owner responded to our concerns and we very much appreciated that. We are hoping for a more peaceful breakfast experience in the future.

Ham on Pretzel and chicken salad were good. Service was fairly fast despite a small crew. Always a nice atmosphere with quiet, courteous diners. Breakfast was still available at noon, so orders were a mix.

I have been ordering from door dash for awhile now good portions and delicious food, 1 tiny issue today ordered veggie scramble with sausage came with no sausage. Still delicious but little disappointed.

Came here for lunch and shared a sandwich with my better half. There was a bit of a line, but that’s usually a good sign! Seemed to be a few tourists at the time we went who took a long time to figure out the menu, so we waited a bit longer than normal—but once we got up front the server was very nice! They do give you a buzzer after ordering but it actually makes a sound on top of vibrating—so it is a bit odd to walk across the shop with a loud noise. Food was great, however, and the taste and quantity seemed to match the pricing. Wife got a chai tea and she said it was excellent. This was a nice little find and if we are back in the area would definitely try it for breakfast or some other lunch options.

The best Breakfast Republic I've been to. Family and I were seated within minutes of putting our names down. I forgot his name, he had a bodybuilder type frame, but he was an excellent server, was very polite , and personable , not only to our table but to others. Highly recommend be cause of the service. Was a bit loud but expected that during Labor Day Weekend

Went here for birthday and was recommended from a friend. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but food was a little high and nothing unique or special. They do have vegan options too for my vegan and gluten free peep.

Delicious food. Loved that they had vegan options and protein focused options as well. There is no "kids menu" but they have a coloring sheet for the little ones, and the oreo pancakes were a hit with my youngest.

I am visiting from Sarasota, FL and my friend said I have this amazing breakfast place to take you before you go home. It was a Monday, early - so plenty of seating options. Definitely took the opportunity to look at/enjoy all the signs and decorations. Our waitress, Sasha was so friendly and helpful! She exuded happiness and joy! I was torn between a Mexican mocha, and a dirty Chai - and she thought for a moment and said, “We can try them together.” 🥰 I said let’s do it! that was the right choice - one of the best breakfast beverages I have had! Sasha was very helpful in offering suggestions when we contemplating our breakfast order. My eggs were cooked a perfect “over medium” which speaks well to the chef and staff- getting eggs cooked exactly as ordered is not always as easy as it should be! We ordered a breakfast to go - and Sasha pulled that all together for us. I decided to get the mug that my friends hot latte was served in - I look forward to remembering everything about this breakfast - and will 100% return next time I am visiting San Diego!

My cousin and I came in today around 11am and had a great meal and experience. Aram was out attentive server and really made the whole day for us. His knowledge of the menu really helped us pick an excellent meal. 10 out of 10 and will definitely be returning.

Fantastic service. We were seated right away, given waters and our drink orders were prompt. The server (Jose) gave us some great recommendations and we enjoyed both the jambalaya and the chilequiles. Great place for a leisurely breakfast with friends. We will be back!

The food is pretty mid.. it’s like a dad cooking for his kids kind of taste / look. I didn’t finish it & still tipped. Service was excellent though! Notes: 1) Try to lay off of the spices so heavily- less is more (hashbrowns). 2) Don’t let the eggs get cold before you serve.

I love this location!! All of the kids who work here are always so pleasant, they always provide excellent service and I've never had a single bad experience going here morning, noon, or night!! I just want to thank all the past and present employees who work at this location... you all are super sweet and do an amazing job everyday!

I went in with my mother, what I wanted was an app exclusive so I submitted my order as we walked in. She ordered from the kiosk. It took TWENTY FIVE MINUTES for me to get my food, and I only got mine after 15 people who ordered after me had gotten theirs, including my mother, who was standing there holding her food for 15 of the 25 minutes. Completely unacceptable, and they even didn't give me any of the sauces I ordered, or a fork for my potatoes.

Food was great at this location as usual but never order through the app. One slight issue; They prioritize drive thru and in store orders. I placed my order at 10:36 and didn't receive it until 10:55. Meanwhile everyone who ordered in store got their orders in 5 mins or less. Whats the point of ordering ahead if you're going to get shoved to the back of the line?

The Taco Bell at 6017 Paseo Del Norte in Carlsbad delivers consistently poor and disappointing service knowing what fast-food employees are making in 2024 and the hikes in prices that we’ve seen across the state as a result. I’ve been a member of the opening staff for two Taco Bells in my time. The chicken quesadilla has always been my favorite. This Taco Bell location seems to have a regularly hard time completing two of the main tasks in making a quesadilla, which are melting the cheese and cutting the quesadilla. Almost every single time I order one, the cheese is barely melted all the way and there is hardly any attempt to cut the tortilla into the 4 pieces it should be in. From my experience I know that melting the cheese is as simple as pressing a button on a steamer and cutting is as simple as rolling the cutter across the quesadilla 3 times. Neither of these things being done correctly regularly translate to me, now a consumer, that there is virtually no care being put into any of the food being delivered to the customers and management isn’t holding their staff accountable. I will be taking my business to another location as of today. I’m paying too much for food in 2024 for it not to be prepared and presented correctly.

You can only order food through a kiosk they force you to be an unpaid employee. So I went to Jack in The box where they have humans that take my order and answer my questions.

Service is always good here. They must do a good job of training their employees. Busy little parking lot in front of a car wash - be careful pulling in and out. People fly down that street. . I sure wish Taco Bell had fries though. Very close to LEGO Land, the Flower Fields, and the Carlsbad Outlets.

Sometimes, you just need Taco Bell. 🌮 We stopped by, ordered in the app. Very easy and convenient. Order was completed perfectly. They have family meals, this order was $20. Lots of food- cheap! What more could you ask.

Lack of freshly squeezed OJ, no coffee options other than standard drip, and a surprisingly long wait for our food had us wondering if we’d walk away loving our visit. Then the food came. Everything was VERY good - extremely flavorful across the board, including some of the best Chilaquiles I’ve ever had.

Amazing brunch at Canyons at the Crossings in Carlsbad! Beautiful views, golf course, and restaurant. We loved our mimosas, lobster roll, and eggs Benedict Santa Barbara. All the staff are very nice and the food comes out quickly. Dog friendly patio. Recommend!

One of the best Courses I have been to. The layout is amazing and the pin placement is very challenging to get up and down. Rob went over the layout and helped me get on the greens with his advice. The weather was great at 70 degrees and couldn't ask for a better day of Golfing. The Staff was top tier and cares about the Course. I will definitely be back soon.

Great location, food, and pricing. I came here after the gym since it was nearby and ordered a grilled cheese and beef dip sandwich to share. Both were better than expected. I’ve ordered beef dip sandwiches at various restaurants, and often the meat is tough or doesn’t fall apart easily. This was not the case here. They provided a generous portion of well-flavored beef, and the bread was soft. The service that day wasn’t the best, but they seemed short-staffed, which may have been bad luck. After I sat down and ordered, about 3 or 4 different families or parties also arrived, and there were two other parties already waiting. After some time, the manager came out to get things moving. She checked in on everyone, was very nice, informed us that the food would be out soon, and asked if we needed anything which was nice. I will definitely be stopping by to try more of their menu items, and hopefully soon for Brunch or breakfast!

The Canyon had a great menu options for breakfast . I ordered the short rib hash, eggs poached and my wife ordered Eggs Santa Barbra it is great twist on Eggs Benedict. I loved the short rib hash on top of potatoes O’Brien, what great pairing.

We love coming here for brunch and dinner. This time at bunch there wasn't any music which we were surprised. They have added new items to the menu. I will say that this time around the service was really slow. Our waitress was the only one working brunch that mid morning so we waited a lot long than usual but that is okay. You have the scenic views of the golf course and great company. We have gotten to know some of the waiters and waitresses and they are all nice. Now, I will say if you are all about lots of food options, this place is not it. There is $20 all you can drink Bloody Mary's and they are not watered down. They are really tasty. Definitely a keeper in the restaurant rotation.

Great recommendation for fish tacos. It was definitely hopping when we arrived around 9pm on a Thursday evening. We sat inside as it was a bit chilly outside, and the music is a little loud, but the food is worth it. I was here for the fish tacos, he went for a quesadilla. I also ordered guac because I thought I was much hungrier than I actually was. So now we have food for breakfast/lunch tomorrow! Oh, also got dessert, so we need to stop somewhere for ice cream!

Alright San Diego...When they Say your food down here is Freaking Awesome...El Pueblo Did Not Dissapoint!! Who doesn't love a Hole in the wall in between a Gas Station and a Carwash?? Stop here and take down anything on the menu and you'll come back for another. We ordered everything from the regular tacos [Adobada, Carnitas, Chicken, and Carne Asada] and of course their Famous and Killer $1.39each all you can order fish tacos!! Yes...I said $1.39. This thing hit so good!!! The toppings were fresh and the tortillas were good! The Surf and Turf Burrito was Was Awesome! And so was the Torta de Adobada. If you guys would smile more, and take advantage of small talk you guys would have gotten a 10 in Service as well. That however does not take away from the whole picture. We even came in with a family of 9, found seats, and were eating in less than 20 min!! Travelers and Locals Alike will agree..You miss this place...Then You really Missed A Whole lot!! Amazingly cheap and tasty fried fish tacos; yes, it really is $1.39 each. Get a bunch of them, you won't regret it. I'll be back next time I'm in the area for sure. There is a little bit of indoor seating and a lot of covered outdoors seating with shade cloths hung down the sides. Not a bad vibe at all despite it being connected to a gas station parking lot.

The food is very authentic and delicious. At the moment we were there it had filled up witha crowd. And after you have the food here you will know why. Fish tacos were selling point it seem. Recently, I visited the Starbucks located in Carlsbad and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The drinks are prepared quickly and with care. Quality of Coffee: As expected, the coffee at the Starbucks in Carlsbad is of excellent quality. The coffee beans are freshly roasted, and the baristas use various brewing methods to prepare your coffee just the way you like it. I had the cappuccino, and it was delicious. I am a shift supervisor at a Starbucks and came into this location for a simple black tea with light ice, no water and some Splenda. Per Starbucks standard, the ice teas are shaken 10 times. The barista made my tea in its serving cup and blatantly lied to my face that she shook the tea. I didn’t hear any shaking. I’ll never understand, as a barista myself, why it’s so difficult for others to follow a simple recipe.

Line skipping of mobile orders is true and they simple loose in person orders and then surprised when you call them out. They show zero customer service and have attitude. What is even better is their automatic reply to these complains via a bot. Clearly you as a customer do not matter to this location. Well sheep will continue to buy from this location

Got the drink with the lavender foam. When I got it was straight Matcha and asked for the foam the woman looked annoyed that I asked for what I paid for. Also waited a really long time because my name was never called. The drink was just sitting on the counter. No staff said anything but everyone else was being called up. Idk what that was about. Just never coming here again. Staff makes you have a highly uncomfortable experience and seems annoyed to the job they get paid to do. Cashier was nice though!

The wait time was extremely long, and a bunch of people who ordered via mobile skipped the line. If it’s going to take that long, the staff should just inform customers upfront that there will be a 15-minute wait. Don’t let people stand around cluelessly in the store—it creates a really poor experience.

I asked for a cup of water and the lady said she won’t give me a cup of water if I don’t purchase anything. I have never in my life, at any Starbucks, have been turned down for free water. Horrible lady! I know that’s not the company’s values cause I worked at Starbucks in the past, and was never advised to turn down free water to customers.

Extremely busy during the lunch hour. I have to wait 10+ minutes for my meal after ordering. The seats are limited because of the high popularity in the rush hour.

Drive thru line was long which isn’t uncommon for the location. Ordered two ranch snack wraps, no cheese. Simple enough, right? Well there was cheese on both and no ranch so I had two really sad and dry wraps. I’ll give ‘em 2 stars with how fast they were, but that’s about it.

Please hire more staffs to improve the poor service. Placed orders on 11:51 and it was still in preparation on 12:24. I think it is inefficient to take me waiting over 30 minutes as the biggest fast food restaurant.

Our third time here. Absolutely awful service. You can't find anyone to help you at all and they are super rude when you finally do. The dining room is filthy and they keep everything behind the counter. Getting a receipt, napkins, or even a refill is impossible. One of the worst McDonald's out there. Don't waste your money.

Manager Roberto was so helpful. I love the service. No cashier only kiosk though but then the card reader was broken, it would be helpful if they put sign on it. I was so frustrated after you put all the order your about to pay and card reader was not working. The location itself was clean.

On July 28, 2025, around 9 pm, this McDonalds was inundated by two busloads of Italian National Teenagers on tour. They proceeded to slam all staff with dozens of simultaneous individual orders. This created a huge logjam, and any ensuing order was delayed by an hour. The staff had to endure being crowded, chastised, and disrespected by these teenagers. The staff did the best they could to fulfill their orders, and every other customers orders, the best they could. Any normal person would have snapped under this kind of pressure, but this staff remained as calm as they could and remained professional despite the rude and aggressive treatment they received from these Italians. Although my order took about an hour to receive, I was not angry or upset with the staff. This was just the circumstances of the evening, and I was grateful to the staff for treating me with the best hospitality they could offer. I was glad to have born witness to such grace under fire and proud to have been served by these fast food heroes. 10/10. Thank you for your courage.

It's Saturday night, and I'm at the Drive Thur thinking it will be a quick stop and pick up of food. Im been sitting here for almost an hour . One hour!! This is absolutely ridiculous!! If I knew this would happen, I would never have come to this location. Don't come to this location. You are just sitting here and waste your time. Even complaining about this will not help. Ridiculous!!

Stopped for brunch on a Monday, and we were able to sit in a patio. They didn’t mind us (just a party of two) occupying a larger table since it was Monday. We ordered our food and flights of mimosas. The food and drinks came out without waiting too long. We shared our food, eggs in purgatory and smoked salmon, and i enjoyed them very much. Both dishes were spicy, just how I like them! The workers were friendly and efficient. We found a street parking spot with ease as it was a weekday.

BELIEVE THE 5-STAR REVIEWS! OMG... Toasted Gastrobrunch is definitely on my regular restaurant rotation now. It's highly recommended by Yelpers far and wide, as a brunch enthusiast I can verify this is a phenomenal place. I heard great things about the A-B-C Hash (Shoutout to our friend Audrey the Yelp CM who recommended this dish) so I had to try it! I ordered it with a side of rosemary sourdough and oof, it was an other-worldly experience. The avocado was perfect, I typically don't eat avo but this place changed my mind. Everything from the potatoes, meat, and eggs was fresh and premium quality. We tried a flight of mimosas (pear, lavender, etc.) and they had a good amount of alcohol. The flight glasses were mini-size, so we got some extra soft drinks just in case. Service was a little wonky, we didn't have too many check-ins from our waitress. Our drinks didn't get refilled regularly, that was a little troubling. We just got a lazy vibe from some of the staff. Thankfully, this didn't ruin the experience, but we'd appreciate better service next time! I WILL give kudos to a gentleman from the staff who sent away a homeless dude who was about to start stuff. He tactfully handled the situation, and called security without causing a disruption for guests. The restaurant was trendy, but it never felt like it was trying too hard. It was a cool place, I enjoyed the outdoor patio ALOT! I definitely like the comfortable brunch atmosphere. Oh, and their kitchen is stunning, I love getting to see the chefs in action! Note: I checked on their Yelp page, they have a Yelp waitlist!! Be sure to secure your slot!

Great location for brunch! Lots of seating inside and many seats on the patio with fire pits in the middle of the tables. Service: Our party of 5 took a while to be seated since apparently there were a couple of servers that called out sick and staffing was short. Knowing this, we gave our server some grace and were patient in waiting. Unfortunately, whenever we did ask for something, it felt like we were bothering him. Regardless, food came out within 10-15 minutes. Food: -Coffee Cake Cakes ($14.5): perfect enough to share with the table. Comes with 3 large pancakes and it wasn’t too sweet -Spanish Churros ($12): also shared with the table. Churros were crispy and pretty good! -Lobster Toast ($20): some pictures didn’t do it justice but this is one big toast that was very filling! There were far more bacon bits than lobster though. -Short Rib Benny ($22): my husband enjoyed this dish. Comes with round truffle potatoes which were tasty. Overall: Very cute brunch place at a nice location. Next time, I’d wanna try out their mimosa flights!

OMG! Fabulous food and drink. Green Eggs and Denver Scramble for amazing as well as the company in post on both. Prickly pear sour and Mimosa White or even better than I had expected. Definitely a place to visit again!

This review is long overdue, but we couldn’t go without sharing how amazing our experience was at Toasted Gastrobrunch! A few months before our wedding in June, the original restaurant we planned to host our rehearsal dinner closed, and we spent days searching for a new venue. We reached out to so many places near our reception site, and thankfully, we messaged Toasted Gastrobrunch! Cassandra responded so promptly and was incredibly helpful from the start. They were able to accommodate our group of about 90–100 people, and honestly, it turned out to be the best surprise — a true silver lining! Cassandra, Cody, and the entire staff were amazing. They even created a custom menu for us that offered a mix of Italian and American food outside of their usual brunch menu, which our guests absolutely loved. We were also able to have the restaurant to ourselves, which made the evening feel extra special and intimate. Everything exceeded our expectations — the buffet was plentiful, the drinks were great, and the restaurant itself was spacious and comfortable for all our guests. After dinner, we ended up dancing the night away with even more friends and family who were in town for the wedding, and it was such a perfect way to kick off the weekend! We stopped here while traveling and ordered takeout at the bar but were not greeted or helped right away. Another customer who came in behind us was served quickly while we were still left waiting until I asked the host for help. My latte came with foam even though I asked for none, it was not hot enough, and overly sweet. The food was mediocre for the price and I would not recommend coming back.

I'm disappointed Panera, your prices increased and your breadbowls got smaller, but like that wasn't bad enough, my bowl wasn't even scooped out for a bowl worth of soup!

This Panera is pretty good. Kiosk ordered so didn't interact with the staff, but the food was prepared well and everything was fresh. Remember, it's healthier than drive thru burgers, but it's still fast food.

I went in this morning to get my bagel and coffee .fyi iwork in the same shopping center at Carlsbad smog and auto repair .so this isnt my first time there .i have been going here atleast 2 days a week for morning or lunch .well this morning i purchased a bagel with tomatoe and cream cheese and a coffee. The cashier said it was 8.65$ .i handed her a 20$ dollar bill. She asked if i wanted the .35 cents change.she made me feel as if it was for donation,for wgat she never said.anyways i said no thats ok .so she gave me a dollar back. Immediatly i said "wait a minute, i gave you a 20$ ." She responded "no you didnt ".i said "yes i did ,i have only 20s in my wallet,i dont have any 10s and i know for a fact i gave you 20$.",she walked away and the manager came up and pulled the drawer and said ge needs to coubt the drawer....while waiting my bagel was ready so i picked it up and as i was waiti g i looked at my bagel and there was no tomaote. Wth. Really. I brought it back and told them ans tge cooks fixed the order.after waiting 20 min the manager walked up to me and handed me a 10$ bill back and said here you go and went back to wgat he was doing. No apology nothing ,she didnt apologize nor did he or anyone for that matter or for the bagel matter. No sorry no hey let us make that up to you ,nothibg horrible service and rude is all i have to say on top of the un professional service

One of the better run Panera in North County. From the bathrooms, juice bar, and the dining area, consistently clean! And the employees are happy!

Usually pretty good- I stop here on my lunch frequently and they’re quick and efficient. Today was a different story. I swung by on my way in to work, waited forever for a bagel and a fruit cup. Bagel was burnt. I’m not sure why you would give that to a customer in the first place. Super disappointing because they weren’t busy at all.

Inconsistent always. Order pickup and has to wait while I saw 4 staff members standing around chatting while 1 poor girl was making everyone’s drinks. On top of all this going on I requested light ice and got extra ice apparently. See pic

Stopped by for a refreshment on my drive home. The bathroom was really dirty and the tables had stuff spilled all over. Was hoping to sit and enjoy it there, but decided to go have it in the car because the place was filthy. I ordered grande matcha late with oatmilk and got 3/4 of burnt tasteless green oatmilk. Highly disappointed.

One of the original and best starbucks locations in Carlsbad. Much better than the grocery store locations the staff are very friendly and willing to help. I recommend getting the double chocolate chip frappe with whip cream.

Very good service. The gentleman working the register (I think his name is JJ) was very helpful and friendly. It was busy and yet he was still nice and not pushy for us to order our drinks(which are usually a little complicated). Shoutout to this location for being great!

When ordering my drink and food I could tell the woman was not paying any attention at all. I had to repeat to her multiple times what I wanted. My drink ended up coming out hot instead of iced and my sandwich was still cold in the middle. I’ve never had this happen at Starbucks before and h go everyday

This morning, my wife and I enjoyed a coffee date at Baba Coffee on State Street in Carlsbad. Baba opens at 6:00, and the ambiance was open air with warm lights. Perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning. Baba appears to be dog-friendly, by providing dog treats (lower left corner). My order was a cup of house coffee. My coffee was bold, which met expectations. I accidentally spilt a small cup of water, and customer service provided a quick clean-up. Two things were odd. First, Baba did not have a creamer for the customers to add cream. However, the barista added cream. Second, they charged for a second cup of coffee. Perhaps this is necessary to cover costs.

I love this place! The rooftop is unbelievably beautiful. I love the live music. The coffee and tea is excellent. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. Let's support these local gems! They do chef menus on Fri and Sat:)

Stumbled upon this spot while walking the village, and it couldn’t have been better timing since I hadn’t even come close to my caffeine limit for the day. The barista was kind and patient, giving us space to look over the menu. I was torn between two drinks and asked for his suggestion he recommended the Hammerhead, and wow, he did not miss! We grabbed seats at the street-facing bar, which was perfect for people-watching. The vibe here is super chill, not overly loud or busy, but lively enough to enjoy the atmosphere. It’s not really the type of place to hunker down and work, but it’s an ideal stop if you’re out on a leisurely walk and want a quality drink. Hammerhead (iced coffee with espresso): My new obsession. Mixing caffeine with caffeine opened my eyes to a whole new world of coffee ideas. Bold, smooth, and just the right amount of kick. Hibiscus & Mango Iced Tea (loose leaf): My boyfriend isn’t as into coffee, so he went for this tea, and it was a pleasant surprise. Smooth, slightly sweet, and refreshing, made with loose leaf, which we really appreciated. Overall, Baba Coffee is a gem. Great drinks, friendly service, and a laid-back atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area

Cute spot with nice atmosphere. My hold back on full stars is for average service for very overpriced coffee. I got a large basic drip coffee (w tip) for $8.09! For drip coffee and a bit of half and half - And the last sips were full of grounds... Servers weren't overly friendly, zero electric outlets, and limited indoor seating. meh

Baba Coffee and the stunning "Nido d'Amore" Rooftop Lounge are absolutely breathtaking! The atmosphere is matched only by their friendly, attentive, and truly professional service. I had the pleasure of catching and filming my friends, The Soto Six (TRIO), performing live at Baba Coffee, as part of their fantastic Friday night jazz series. This venue is a must-visit for anyone who loves JAZZ or LIVE music of any genre, all while enjoying excellent coffee, delicious pastries, snacks, and a fun, vibrant vibe! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm driving up from Las Vegas to the San Diego/Carlsbad area. I only rated this 4 stars because I didn’t try the food. I had a decaf Americano and it was very good and not acidic at all. I really enjoyed the chill acoustic music playing and I enjoyed watching passers-by.

Rob and Reagan have crafted an absolutely incredible community hotspot! The food is all made in house with high-quality ingredients, and the wine is even more incredible! Came here for the coffee in the morning, left in the evening after delicious wine and a really fun movie night! The live music is next level! I cannot emphasize enough how awesome Rob and Regan are, and how phenomenal the spot they’ve created is. 🤍

We are regular customers of this little place but it was disappointing what happened on Tuesday, February 25th in that place. The woman who was serving the customers had the worst attitude that a human being can have. She treated the customer who was in front of us very badly and we felt so bad that it seemed like the one she treated badly was us. After seeing that we couldn't continue there and we decided to leave that place where the customer service is not good at all. I hope the owner of that place can do something to have a better work staff. We will definitely not return to this place while this unpleasant person is working there.

There is a trend happening in the restaurant/food industry that turns my stomach and it happened here at Garden State bagel. I bought a ham, egg and cheese bagel yesterday and the total was $8.91. I used my debit card to pay. The sandwich was just ok, pretty bland but it was fine. Over night I received an email from my bank stating my purchase at GS Bagel was settled at $11.58. This means that an employee at the store added a $2.50 tip which I DID NOT authorize. This happened to me about a month ago at a restaurant where my bill was about $20 and I wrote $5 tip. It settled over night for $70 meaning the waitress changed the $5 to $50. Since then, because the bank doesn’t consider it fraud, I was out an additional $45, I ALWAYS sign the bill now and if there’s an option for a tip I write CASH and the total is just for the cost of the food. I give cash tips now because this theft is happening to people everywhere !!! Here at GS I didn’t sign anything and my receipt says $8.91. I don’t mind spending money but I HATE BEING RIPPED OFF AND/OR STOLEN FROM. I hope the $2.50 was worth it because I know hundreds of ppl in this small town and I’m telling everyone I know that an employee here stole from me. I’ll NEVER go back so don’t spend it all in one place!

I’ve been going to this bagel store for the last six years and it’s been consistent every time! The girls behind the counter are always very fast preparing my breakfast and they’re always happy to see me! The service is absolutely outstanding. I recommend this bagel place to any bagel connoisseurs in the area like myself!

Garden State Bagels makes California style bagels. They have tons of options cooked fresh daily! The jalapeno wasn't super spicy and great with an egg & cheese sandwich. The veggie egg sandwich is basic (eggs are thin, no shade) but hits the spot for breakfast. I went back twice during our stay at a local Airbnb. Keep up the good work! You can certainly go to some big bagel chain. But, if you want a delicious locally made bagel from a mom and pop bagel shop then you need to visit Garden State Bagels. So many bagel styles to choose from. You may want to visit early as there is big demand for them.

I came for a cup of coffee. It took 20minutes. 20minutes!!!!! Maybe I should have ordered a white chocolate mocha with almond milk, a pinch of paprika and blessed by 4 leprechauns, and I would have gotten it faster. After 15 minutes I asked for an update and a helpful employee asked and saw a very unhappy person making my drink. So, I watched her add each sugar packet individually and then my cup sat there waiting for another 5 minutes. Finally, I got my coffee, but the unhappy barista didn’t even acknowledge it took 1/3 of an hour to make my cup of coffee and barely was audibly registered as she said my name. Seriously, I make a lot of reviews and have like 46million views of my pics and this is the absolute worst service I have ever received at a Starbucks and I have been to a lot of Starbucks!!!! Now, I am late to my meetings and my day starts off crappy and even more stressful than it already was. Thanks unhappy Starbucks barista. Your negativity has spread to at least one patron who will not return to this location. 😭

Dealing with Leo. has been nothing short of exhausting. He regularly purchases the cheapest items, complains about them endlessly, yet continues to return. His behavior is disruptive, unprofessional, and frankly, disrespectful to the hardworking staff and other patrons. Some customers come to enjoy good food and community—Leo seems to come looking for problems. Businesses deserve fair and reasonable customers. Unfortunately, Leo doesn’t meet that standard.

Starbucks please take notice. Something changed with my favorite store. Baristas are still great with my drinks and are friendly. However, the vibe has shifted. The air feels tense. Cleanliness is falling short, I went in the other day and I’ve never seen it like this. The poor Baristas were struggling, short staffed, cranky customers and it was dirty. Obviously so, they can’t make drinks and clean, with not enough support. I felt horrible for them. What’s going on?

I stopped by Starbucks in the morning to grab some breakfast and a coffee. One thing I immediately appreciated was the availability of parking—there were plenty of open spots, which made the visit hassle-free. Morning runs to Starbucks can sometimes be a hit or miss when it comes to crowd levels, but on this particular visit, I had a smooth experience. For my order, I went with a Mocha Frappuccino and a Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich. Right away, I was impressed with the service. The staff was friendly, efficient, and had my order ready quickly. It’s always nice to start the day with a positive interaction, and this Starbucks location delivered in that regard. The Mocha Frappuccino was exactly what I was hoping for—creamy, rich, and indulgent with the perfect blend of coffee and chocolate flavors. Starbucks is known for its consistency with drinks, and this one did not disappoint. It was smooth, sweet, and a great pick-me-up. As for the Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich, it was decent but not my favorite. The flavor was good, with the smoky bacon adding a nice touch, but I found it a bit on the saltier side and a little drier than I prefer. Given that Starbucks doesn’t prepare its sandwiches fresh in-house, I didn’t have high expectations, but I was hoping for something a bit more balanced in texture. If you’re someone who enjoys a heartier, saltier breakfast option, this might be a solid choice for you. Overall, this Starbucks visit was a success. The convenience, excellent service, and tasty drink made for a great start to the day. While the food isn’t necessarily the highlight, it’s still a reliable option when you need something quick. I’d definitely return for another coffee and maybe try a different breakfast item next time.

My second time here. Good coffee for sure but actually for this amazing airport view! Very busy airport. If you like the aircraft, you may spend all the day here. So relieved!!

Coffee good. Service and staff excellent. This is the ONLY Starbucks in the area that opens at 5am on a Saturday (love it!). And, to top it all off, this location has an excellent WIFI connection speed (see pic of upload and download speed).

Great customer service here with an emphasis on mobile orders, meaning they don’t leave you im the abyss on whether or not your order is ready because you cant see the many cups and bags waiting to be picked up. They call your name and if they see someone who’s been waiting a bit, they check in with you. They also love fur babies! I’ve witnessed some regular fur babies come in and immediately be greeted with a puppuccino! And heres a fun fact, they’ve never run out of tye Double Smoked Bacon Cheddar and Egg sandwich😋. Its pretty busy in the mornings so leave out early or mobile order your drink ahead of time! P.S. To the patrons that don’t mind twirling other customers cups looking for your name or handling sandwich/pastry bags that may belong to someone else, please just ask the friendly Starbucks crew. Imagine having the items you’re going to eat or drink fondled by 5-10 strangers before you could grab it? 🤢🥴

I have been to the Carlsbad jack and I have been cheated with a water : IMAGINE ! A BOTTLE OF WATER ! COME ON ! ARE U NORMAL.??? and the food was cold , old and the buns old with mold ! FOR SHURE EXPIRED I have took samples and I have sent them to the Lab ! I will adress this to the FDA too This is not a Complain This is a Concern for our helth AND Costumers & childrens health I am a turist , the employees speak only Spanish, the order was incomplete, they got mad i asked the Receipt because I paid cash and they even made some affirmations of me beeing turist ( something like screw her -in english ) We are not comeing to usa to get sick or poisoned Also to eat this old food This should be a concern for you who gave the franchise to them ! This is not a nice aproach over citizen or children helth Understand that you as a brand u dont pay for my helth if I get sick ! Or my child ! Do not come here. Found hair in the curly fries. Croissant was probably half baked and tacos were also half fried. They served it with a lot of oil on it. Edit: they had me reach out via website, all it is an official customer complaint page. They didn't offer to make it right. My advice, go elsewhere.

I walked in to order some food at 8:20 pm on 8/1/2025, a Friday night. There were 3 people working. I tried to get their attention by saying hello 3 or 4 times and they wouldn't even acknowledge me. One girl even looked in my direction but past me. I felt like I was bothering them or shouldn't have been there so I left. Bummer

Not surprised for a jack in the box. Came to visit family for a little so we wanted something small for a midnight snack, while staying in a hotel. Easy to walk over, walked to go open the door knowing the two employees were fully aware we were outside while they weren't working sitting down at the tables chatting. didnt know we had to go to the drive thru as thats what it says on the sign, walks over to the drive thru, still ignored us. I even called twice for them to not answer that I had to doordash for them to give us our food. Food was okay, but employees weren't doing their job.

This place has no customers in line regularly because everything that comes from the kitchen is, at this point I believe, deliberately awful. You have to cook/fry the food until crispy. That's what Jack in the box is. It's hot, crispy food. I don't know why the hell my chicken is limp and my fries are moist. This is not rocket science.

As you can see in some of the pics, the place was not clean with food under the chairs and tables, waiting to be cleaned. There was no one at the counter and we had to wait for more than 5 mins. A couple of staff walked in and out and kept seeing us waiting and didn't say a word. Food came fast.

Paula who is the head barista/supervisor at this location made my day extra special!! The last time I came in I got my usual grande caramel macchiato however when I tasted it and opened the lid I noticed there wasn’t any caramel, no biggie but it did change the drink a lot. When I went in today Paula took my order and I mentioned the caramel and if they can please add it on top 😊 she went above and beyond to ensure my drink was perfect plus some & I hope she sees this to know it was extremely kind and appreciated! Spreading kindness is more of what this world needs and she’s doing an amazing job!! Thank you so much Paula + Team!! 🙌

Came in on 09/25 and was just going to get my basic black iced tea. I hadn’t had Starbucks in a year and Kevin was so patient with me and helped me decide on a drink that was AMAZING. He was super nice and patient, all around good energy. Great personality and great at drinks. Thank you Kevin! I’ve probably only been to Starbucks 5 times in the last two years but Kevin and the apple crisp nondairy chai I think have made me into a future regular.

I recently visited my local Starbucks and I must say, I had a truly amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The baristas were extremely knowledgeable about the products and were able to answer any questions I had. I ordered a latte and was blown away by the quality of the drink. It was perfectly crafted with just the right amount of foam and the espresso was rich and smooth. The attention to detail was evident in every sip and it was clear that the barista took great pride in their work. The overall ambiance of the store was fantastic. The music was just the right volume and the seating was comfortable and inviting. The store was also very clean and well-maintained. Overall, my experience at Starbucks was exceptional. The quality of the drinks, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the inviting atmosphere all made for a perfect visit. I highly recommend this Starbucks to anyone looking for a great coffee experience. Five stars all around!

This is the best Starbucks I’ve ever visited in terms of service. I visited the area for a week and visited Starbucks every morning - every employee was kind and welcoming (at 4-5am too!). Every drink I received had a lovely hand-written message on it. Just a really great experience!

Went for the three o’clock half of happy hour it was great! The staff were super excited to give the discount. The drinks were good. I recommend the double chocolate chip Frappuccino.

Out of all the Starbucks locations I've been to, this one was the best for two reasons. One, I wanted an iced chai but with no form of sugar, and the barista worked with me to make a delicious chai with non-fat foam and stevia. It was perfect. Two, I got to witness a woman meeting with her stock broker (yes, in a Starbucks) have a miniature meltdown about voting for Trump and "feeling like [she] got duped".

Lady at window accused me of ordering a hot coffee, I repeatedly told her I ordered an iced Carmel coffee, to which she yelled at and told me to leave and never come back. She was beyond disrespectful and when I asked to see a different employee or management she said I’m the manager and the only employee. I am furious with this service and expected better even from a minimum wage paid fast food restaurant

My bacon Ultimate cheeseburger was good, but it appeared smaller than what's advertised. Perhaps a size of a mcdouble cheeseburger. The 2 tacos 🌮 for $.99 cents were the best tacos of all the other Jack's. The customer service at the drive-thru was good 👍 too. I give 4 stars overall.

This is one of the best Jack in the Boxes in San Diego with regards to taste, clean facility inside, and staff friendlyness. Only downside is their EBT card reader has been down for months, so don't expect to be able to pay with your hot meal SNAP benefits.

So I told the manager that they give me the wrong ice coffee yesterday and she says why I didn’t came back I told her I needed to leave soon so I came back today to see if they remake it she refused me to give me the new iced coffee she told me I needed to pay again I just looked at her mad because why they would be like that if pay for the iced coffee? Which they got it wrong. That’s very bad customer service

The lady working the drive through at midnight was so nice . This location is so much better than oceanside’s jack in the box.

In a word: gross. Rotten lettuce (be sure to check before consuming) and what appears to be a formed meat slab? It didn't even appear to be ground beef but rather "meat" that had been molded to produce the illusion of a ground beef patty. The texture of the "patty" was smooth, dry and rubbery on the surface, like a hot dog, with a spongy internal consistency that also resembled hot dog meat, as if it had been poured into shape from a meat slurry. This doesn't even meet my general concept of an actual hamburger. The "Ribeye All American Burger" was $5.59 for the sandwich alone. I waited more than 5 minutes for it at the drive-through window when the rest of the restaurant was empty at 7:45pm, so my sample was apparently "freshly" prepared. Yikes.

We love Top of the Bagel! All flavors. The egg, bacon, cheese breakfast bagel, yummy and hot. Dark roast coffee. Tried Einstein once. Never again. Staff friendly and personable. Our go to twice a month!

Love breakfast food. An awesome way to start the day. Bagels are always a treat. This bagel shop has been solid and an amazing variety of selection of assorted bagels. Keep it plain or add some flavor to your selection. There are only solid selections of greatness. If anything ask the staff. They are very friendly and helpful all around. Stop by and check it out for yourself. You will be greatly satisfied.

Love finding unique hole in the wall places. This bagel shop is definitely a must try. The people who work there, are fast, the place is usually packed especially on the weekends (good indicator that the food is good) anyways I did the NY bagel and a everything bagel with creme cheese. I do not regret it. Really really good. Well worth the money too.

It is with great I pleasure recommend Top of the Bagel. Top of the Bagel catered an event we organized for about 90 people. Our food included assorted bagels and cream cheeses, smoked salmon, veggie bagel toppings (tomatoes, capers, onions), egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, greek salad, and fruit platters. We considered them after talking with another family who was happy working with them at a similar event, and we decided to proceed with them after tasting their food and talking to the owner Asha. My wife and I had never organized an event of this size completely on our own, so it was a stressful experience, but Asha was a pleasure to work with and assured us that she would make sure the food responsibilities were in good hands. Leading up to the event, she was extremely responsive to numerous questions we had, made helpful suggestions, and was essentially a great partner in planning. The morning of the event, before the guests arrived, Asha and her team set up all the food in a way that looked very presentable and was easy to access in a buffet style line. Every item they brought was delicious, and I received many compliments from the guests. Additionally, Asha made sure our concerns about quantity were totally unfounded, as she made sure to give very generous portions. Overall, working with Asha and Top of the Bagel was a great experience. We would absolutely eat at their location, use them for catering needs again, and recommend them to others. Unfortunately the only photo I got is one of the fruit platters, but it demonstrates how nicely they present their platters!

My new favorite place for a quick breakfast. Super friendly owners . Got the turkado with no mustard and added jalapeños . PERFECT .

This place is so good! I never know what to get because their menu is amazing. I also love the fresh squeezed juices that they offer! The last thing I got there was the Asian chicken salad, it was very tasty but my favorite sandwich is the Turkado on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. 😍

Horrible service they treat you like a second class citizen if you are brown acting aggressive and won’t let you use the bathroom before you order because they are rude and racially profile you. The owner acts in a way he would never treat his white guests. Do not go there unless you want to support racist behavior.

The workers were so nice and very friendly my coffee was a little sweet and I asked if they would more coffee and with no questions asked they added more coffee it was delicious and the bagel with Salomon was so good

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I came to enjoy a peaceful lunch. One employee in particular, female - shaved high and tight style- had given me grief in the past questioning my psychiatric task trained service dog. I came today, this SAME female told me I could NOT dine in. I reminded her of my ADA rights. I reminded her that kicking me out is against the law with huge fines. She told me " I have a dog too." I have a psychiatric task trained service dog from my service connected disabilities. Completely different. Her ignorance triggered my entire body. She continued to yell at me. Making a huge scene in front of the other guests. I sat down to calm down, using my service dog. This employee makes a phone call and in Spanish calls me crazy! I'm a former US Army Sergeant that is 100% disabled. She needs to be fired. I was completely triggered to my core because of this employee! Corporate office has been contacted. Be better. Respect those who sacrificed and some who gave all. For you and that employee. Disgusting! Never again! To the one male employee, Thank you for being kind. Professional. Who gave me a clear, " have a nice day." Whereas that female employee turned her back to me and ignored me. To the owner, this who YOU hired. Shame.

The Smokehouse Brisket Egg Sandwich was surprisingly good and the best bagel I’ve ever had at Bruegger’s. The hazelnut coffee was as flavorful as always. (Sorry for the limited pic of the sandwich. I was totally in the midst of mowing it down when I realized I should pause and write a review. It was good enough to totally distract me from my mission! 😂)

Started ordering from here on DoorDash a few months ago and it quickly became my regular spot. However; the last few orders I’ve received haven’t been great. Cheesy hash brown has been overcooked, dry and seems like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp all day, even when I ordered immediately after they opened, implying that the food was made the day before and then just rebaked the next day. Sausage egg and cheese bagel has been off the past few orders too. Bagel didn’t taste fresh and something about the item tasted off. Disappointing when food service workers get complacent like that. Probably won’t order again.

Prepaid order and when I got there they did not have my gluten free bagels. They tried to get me to sub another bagel which I did not want. Clerk walked away and showed up with manager who suggested I take something else. I wanted gluten free and he reluctantly said he would refund the gf bagels but couldn’t do it right away. That was 3 weeks ago and still no refund.

I have been a Nekter customer for quite some time. I typically order their bowls because they are tasty, convenient and are a healthier option. Unfortunately, I believe the quality control of the bowls has gone down. I finally have had enough of receiving a bowl that is 2/3 filled. The added insult to injury is they have raised their prices from $9.99 a bowl to $10.99. Paying more for less product isn't typically something I care to support.

I wasn't able to pick up my order yesterday due to time constraints and the location being incredibly busy at my quoted pickup time. I returned today and was warmly greeted and offered to remake my order that I never received. The bowl was made promptly and with care. Thank you so much for making up for yesterday! Would recommend & return. Great customer service 👏

The service is typically quick and friendly. They have juices, smoothies, bowls, and a few other items in a cooler (muffins, protein snacks, etc). They also have a green symbol next to certain items on the menu that they recommend for first-timers. I've tried a few different smoothies and juices, and açai bowls, all of which were pretty good.

Had a great time in the nekter juice bar😊perfect place for Smoothies and Açaí bowls. Mango delight was so good. Sweetness of smoothies were so perfect. Also has so many left to try out.special mention to the customer friendly atmosphere.

Very impressed with their bagel sandwiches! We ordered the #28 on a jalapeño bagel and it was next level—packed with flavor and loaded with fresh ingredients. They definitely don’t skimp! If you’re looking for a hearty, satisfying breakfast, this place is a must-try.

Inglorious Bagels is the real deal - my wife’s from New Jersey and a total bagel snob, and even she’s fully on board. That alone says everything. These are hands down the best bagels in North County - perfectly chewy, super fresh, and loaded with flavor. They’ve got a huge variety of sandwiches and shmears, and honestly, everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. The vibe is always fun, the staff are friendly, and it’s one of those places that just gets it right. Bagel game: strong.

We drove out for a while to get here but it was worth the trip. Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, these are the best bagels we have had in San Diego. It met all of the criteria. Latkes were good as well, will visit again.

Probs one of the best primo bagel shops I've been to in SD. Solid variety in sandwiches and the spice level on their hellfire bagel is must have if you're a spicy food connoisseur like myself.

I’m from the east coast and let me tell you, this is a damn good bagel. I got the hot honey, bacon, and chive cream cheese on the spicy bagel and it was phenomenal. Definitely pricey but 100% worth it

By far the best bagels in San Diego, as someone that has visited New York twice 😉 But really, the bagel sandwiches are so high quality I crave them and my kids are always asking for another trip to snag a blueberry or cinnamon raisin. The ingredients are so fresh I don’t even feel guilty. The staff is friendly, helpful and fast paced which is great when the line is out the door. Big fan of their coffees too - iced americano is my go to, always perfectly crafted.

First time to this location. While the selection of bagels are good and the smears are on point the overall experience wasn’t great. We ordered 2 bagels and a coffee(just hot coffee, nothing fancy). The bagels arrived somewhat quickly. We asked about the coffee and were told “he’s busy”. After we finished our bagels the coffee still wasn’t done. Finally they called our name again. Another patron said “it’s been so long I forgot I ordered a coffee”. If you are looking for quick service, keep looking.

This morning, I enjoyed a coffee date with my wife at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, located in Carlsbad. While sipping a bold cup of coffee, there were several customers appreciating the store. Moreover, this coffee shop was well decorated, which creates an alluring ambience. The fresh water dispenser came in the form of coil copper tubing, which looked interesting. Bird Rack appeared popular. Several people were enjoying it. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. After all, Carlsbad has wonderful weather. What I found disappointing was the store policy of no free refills. To refill my cup costs $1, odd. I look forward to another bold cup of coffee at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters.

Their coffees are Ahhmazing. Their syrups are housemade so it hits different and is authentic! Never going to Starbucks again lol. Tried their ice spiced pumpkin latte and the pumpkin flavor really came through without overpowering the coffee. Perfect balance! LUCKY AND ANTHONY ARE THE BEST!!! ☕️🍁🫶🏻❣️🎃

Cute coffee shop in Carlsbad. I ordered the Left Coast Latte with Salted Caramel and Oatmilk. So yummy. My friend ordered the Sandpiper and loved it. We both agreed the flavors weren’t overpowering. Definitely give this place a try.

One of my favorite coffee shops in SD county. The people at this location are always super friendly and the drinks are great. We also order their coffee beans and shipping is incredibly fast.

Quality has gone down a bit. The last two times I’ve placed online orders, they’ve made the incorrect item (both times I ordered a 20oz iced latte. Once they made a hot latte and once a 16oz.) There seems to be more turnover with employees as well. The cold brew is straight up not good. I’d rather have Starbucks cold brew. I’ll have to find a new coffee shop.

We came to the Carlsbad location for the first time today to take advantage of the 50% off pumpkin spice lattes in honor of National Pumpkin Day. They have the same great coffee and friendly service that made us love Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in Del Mar. My son and I both agreed we need more Bird Rock locations in North County.

Great location and atmosphere and previously great craft espresso drinks. But their standards have clearly slipped from the barista standpoint. From not cleaning out the portafilter after knocking out the last shot to grossly oversteamed milk the list goes on. Really no way to get a proper flat white without dousing it in sweetner. I’d love to like bird rock again but they have to train their baristas and dial in etiquette. I currently drive an extra 5-6 min out of my way to steady state in the village to avoid going here as of now.

Aggressive bullies.These are a few of the managers at Panera. I got no respect, even though I'm a paying customer. Was this racism, sabotage, or a war? I am a single mother of 2 babies. I'm about a 120 pounds 5 foot 5 inches. These bullies. Prevented me from exiting the restaurant!!! One of my babies was sleeping in his stroller!! Watch out for these 2. These managers literally have dirty hands. Gross!! What ever happened to washing hands being mandated law? These managers have the grossest finger nails. It seems like Panera will hire anyone for the position. Even though I'm a Sip club member and even though I spend money every time I go to Panera, I'm treated with Hate.

I love the salads at Panera Bread, but we just wanted latte's and cakes. They got our original drinks order wrong, which we realised when the total seemed too high. Our extra hot latte's were not very hot. The children loved the Brownies though.

6/26/2024 So I was in Panera at Menifee. The decor and layout is diffent than Carlsbad mall. Definately lots of light and chairs. I had the Chicken Rancher. Bread was good and so was the chicken. I would have liked a little more kick. Order comes with potato chips. 2/20/2024 "The Breakfast "Sip" Club" at Panera Bread. Rainy drizzly morning I am happy to count on the crew of Panera led by Marcos to have coffee and hot bagle ready. Thank you Panera. This "nerdy" dude really appreciate having a place to be. 10/12/2023 There has been recent news of Panera lately. My visit here has been good, quiet at times, busy at times. I am still enjoying my visit when I can. 8/25/23 Recent news. Not sure if this news applies but it stated that a few items in the Panera menu will no longer be available. My new Love!!! ❤️‍🩹❤️💘💛💜 Sip club. Quiet Peaceful morning. Sit and relax for breakfast and coffee, tea or soda.😄🤗. My friend took me here so the credit goes to him. I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews describing service but I've gone probably 10 times recently to use as a study space and I've been fortunate to have gotten good service I suppose? The employees seem busy but they're friendly and helpful, even when I tried to redeem a faulty gift card they were patient. However I do think they're pricey, especially for the small servings. I would come here a lot more if the prices weren't so inflated.

I go to this location a lot along with the Vista and San Marcos locations. The big issue is the homeless sitting in the outdoor seating out front especially a father and son the past two months who sit at the same table around the clock. Another older guy and a lady switch off looking after their huge grey Marmaduke dog brining the dog into the bathroom and in the restaurant for a few minutes. There is another homeless guy that sits in the back corner and constantly talks to himself laughing and carrying on a conversation. There are other homeless with rolling small suitcases they come in and sit and use the bathroom. One guy has smoked marijuana out front in the past. I do not see this at any other locations but this one. Corporate said managers would need to do something about this. I feel really bad for these homeless people but not really good for paying customers to constantly have this going on.

I get chicken strawberry poppies salad with a vingeraitte dressing was good!!! What empress me it is there bakery!!! Sweets where tasty, fresh and delicious!!! And they have many varieties of cold teas and juices!!!

I said I was poor and wanted something to eat; they gave me nothing. I think I'll call the police next time I am here to see if there is any compensation I can get since no one cares about the poor or homeless. Twenty dollars for a large soup and sandwich?!? I hear out loud today July 24 "I did everything you ask" how about I put a restraining order against you and request compensation from every company you worked for? You only angered me??? How does it reflect again???
