Visited during Tulip Time, waited about 15-20 minutes. Food was very good--omelette had a bit too much bacon that made it salty and didn't get the option for a deep fried cinnamon roll but regular was good, chili had a good spice, and Cross the Street salad was delicious, fresh, and had a ton of toppings! Staff was friendly and food was served very quickly!

★★★☆☆ – Tasty food, but tough to relax We stopped in for breakfast at The Windmill Restaurant during a trip to Holland, and while the food had its highlights, the overall experience was a bit overwhelming. The restaurant was very crowded, noisy, and somewhat chaotic, making it difficult to fully enjoy what was otherwise a solid meal. The servers were kind and attentive, doing their best amid the hectic pace and tight seating. On the plus side, the daily specials are priced well, and my wife raved about her cheese muffin—every bite was a win. Our daughter had the Denver omelette with gluten-free toast and was thrilled they didn’t upcharge for the gluten-free option. She also noted the eggs were seasoned just right. Unfortunately, my own meal fell short. The blueberry pancakes were stiff rather than fluffy, and my over-easy eggs came out greasy. It’s clear they have a loyal following and some great menu items, but due to the overcrowded dining area and noise, we’re not sure we’d return. Might be a better pick if you don’t mind a bustling diner vibe.

Our visit was during off season. I ordered a Holland omelette and it was loaded with a lot of cheese and that’s how I like it. I had the side of the huge cinnamon bun to go. Above all, my wait person Suzanne made our day with her excellent service. First ever waitress bringing extra napkins without asking. Kudos to Suzanne! Price of the 3 eggs omelette with a side of huge cinnamon role was under $13. Unbeatable! We will go back for sure.

Came 2.5 hours to visit Holland and was really looking forward to a good meal—left disappointed. We were hungry and excited to try this spot, but both meals had overcooked eggs (ordered over easy) and everything just felt rushed and sloppy. The wait staff was pretty indifferent. Cute little place and busy, but definitely not worth the drive or the wait.

Had the regular cinnamon roll. It was very big, but not the best I have ever had. The dough was very chewy, not much cinnamon but the frosting was amazing. Had the gluten free cinnamon roll also and it tasted sour. Very ok for gluten free, once again the frosting was great! Restaurant was very busy and you had to seat yourself.

Looking for an old fashion american breakfast restaurant, Dine-In style, we found an amazing place at the Holland downtown in Michigan. Delicious food and great service. Just like I was imagining.

First stop on our trip to Holland. Fantastic omelette, STUFFED with all the fixings, for a very humble price. Waitress recommended their homemade wheat toast, which might have been the best toast I've ever had. Big, fluffy and so soft. Coffee was fresh and piping hot. Lots of Cholula hot sauce varieties to choose from. My kinda place! They also have a big Lunch selection, too! Highly recommend 👍

Delicious food, coffee, and pastries. We dined at the counter, as it was first come-first serve so we could sit immediately. Our breakfast was very good and portions are plentiful. We grabbed some pastries afterwards for later in the day. The pigs in a blanket (sausage roll) are divine!

The food is filling and flavorful. Such a cozy spot. Very kid friendly. They even let us order an item from the bakery that wasn’t technically on the restaurant menu because our son really wanted the blueberry donut (which was phenomenal btw). I got hippy hash and my husband got biscuits and gravy. It was sooo good. Mouth is watering just thinking about it again. The pickled onion in the hash really balanced well and was my favorite part.

Went for brunch with a friend. He got breakfast; I got lunch. Great atmosphere evoking a Nederlandse bakerij. I was instantly drawn to the Dutch sampler. Where else can you get pea soup, croquets, krakelingen, etc? It was very good, and we enjoyed our meals. Only drawback is that we weren't checked in on after being served until just before our check came and my coffee got cold.

A must have when visiting Holland! If you make a trip to the area plan for breakfast here. They have wonderful food, awesome service and nice atmosphere. It can get busy so be patient. Be sure to get some of the classics and shared them around the table.

We always love coming to DeBoer Bakerjj in Holland — the food is always fantastic! This visit, two employees really stood out: Case and Eva. They went above and beyond to make sure customers were seated quickly, tables were cleared right away, and everyone was taken care of with a smile. Their energy and great personalities made our experience even better. It’s always nice to see staff who genuinely care about their customers and their work. Highly recommend this place!

If you visit Holland you got to eat at an authentic Dutch restaurant. This certainly checks that box. Absolutely fantastic dining experience

Delicious breakfast food! The menu offers some unique items and everything was fabulous!

Food was great and the staff were nice! The wait was long, but it's a small place on a Sunday morning, so that's to be expected. The prices though were pretty extreme for what you get. 2 strips of bacon is $4.50. You could buy an entire package of bacon for that much. Whip cream & strawberries were $3. $40 for a 2 biscuits and 2 pancakes at a little diner is a bit out there. Overall we're happy we went, but probably won't be regulars at that price point.

Super small breakfast and lunch spot. Went early on a Sunday as they got busy very fast. Staff was accommodating to our table of 4. Quick service from friendly staff. Food came out relatively quick even with them filling up tables fast. Waitress was quick and helpful when needed. The food, amazing and fresh.

We love going to small, out of the way places to eat. This place did not disappoint. My husband was wondering where I was taking him, but he was impressed with the quality of the food and the great service we received. The food was delicious, and I believe everything was homemade, from the strawberry jam on my plate, to the whipped cream on my husband's French toast. My husband had the Berries and Cream French Toast and an egg sunny side up. He loved it! I had the Mediterranean Scramble, with their homemade biscuit. It was the best scramble I have ever eaten; it was delicious and the seasoning was perfect. The strawberry jam for my biscuit was as good as my homemade jam. Yum! The biscuit was light and moist. Fresh squeezed orange juice! My husband and I are coffee snobs (we even roast our own coffee), the coffee there was good but too light for our liking. The server told us it was supposed to be a med-dark roast, but we --thought it was more tea-like than coffee-like. If you live nearby, or visiting from out of town, make sure you give this place a try. You will love it.

We (two people) arrived at 9:50 on a Sunday and had our named added to the wait list. We waited 46 minutes for a table. While we waited I could hear the man with the list tell people there would be a forty minute wait which went up to an hour wait and then he would say “about an hour” wait. They food arrive around 15 minutes after we ordered. There are eleven tables, 2 waitresses that I could see. If you like biscuits and gravy this is the place for you. The biscuits are the best I have ever had. Light and fluffy. The gravy is also good. The waitress was quick and friendly.

I never enjoyed arugula until it was it was in my egg scramble. Chicken sausage and egg scramble with homemade jam was excellent. A bit pricey for breakfast but very good and a short distance from Holland Aquatic Center.

You want an actually good homemade Biscuit? Literally The Biscuit has you covered. They have the absolutely best biscuit and gravy I've had in recent years so far. It's a small dive, so if you're looking for a gem that you might have overlooked this is the place to go. You won't regret it.

I would obviously recommend getting biscuits, it comes with homemade jam (strawberry) that was wonderful. I wish we had more time to sit and eat but my husband had to wait outside with the dog as we were traveling North. He had breakfast tacos of eggs and chorizo that was reminiscent of what you could find in a Mexican kitchen. I would advise to get there much earlier than the closing hours because it seems they stop seating people or taking names before that time. They also don't do pick up orders on the weekend. Great quality - good homemade food.

I was on a mission to find the best hot chocolate in Holland, Michigan, and Lemonjello’s was one of the top contenders. But—I’ll be honest—I almost didn’t go. Why? The number of reviews talking about rude service and employee attitudes made me second-guess it. Who wants to be judged for just wanting something warm, cozy, and lavender-flavored? But then I found out they had lavender hot chocolate, and listen... as a certified hot chocolate connoisseur and someone whose favorite flavor on Earth is lavender, I simply had no choice. Curiosity > fear of sass. I pulled up, sat in my van, and genuinely debated just skipping it. But eventually, the craving won out, and in I went. There was only one person ahead of me in line, so I browsed the counter—strictly there for that lavender hot chocolate, mind you—and walked out with a small bakery haul. I got a cinnamon roll that I swear was life-altering. I bake my own sourdough cinnamon rolls, and I’m pretty obsessed with them—but this one? Better. I said it. I went back inside to get two more for the road. That good. As for the much-feared service? Total myth—at least in my experience. The cashier and the guy making my drink were both kind, conversational, and super helpful. We chatted about the drink, the pastries, even how their day was going. No eye rolls. No bad vibes. Just genuine, sweet humans. When I finally got my drink (napkins and a bag already thoughtfully packed for me), I went back to my van, took one sip, and immediately regretted not getting the biggest size they offer. It was floral, rich, comforting, and easily the best hot chocolate I had out of the three places I tried in town. Hands down. So if you’re on the fence about Lemonjello’s because of some sour reviews, let me be the voice that says: go anyway. Order the lavender hot chocolate. Grab the cinnamon roll. And if you’re going—text me. Bring me back a cinnamon roll. 😌

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town for the weekend and decided to try this place out. Both of us really enjoyed our experiences the two times we came in. What genuinely makes this place 5-star worthy is the fact that there’s MULTIPLE gluten-and-dairy-free bakery items. I visit lots of coffee shops and keep seeing that there’s (typically) either a gf item, or a vegan item. Never both. The fact that Lemonjello’s had not one or two, but five different bakery items for me to choose from that were freshly made— not the pre-packaged, overpriced options you see at other places— that won me over. I understand it’s hard to accommodate my two dietary restrictions simultaneously, but Lemonjello 100% executed, and it’s something I appreciate greatly. I tried the gf/df apple almond muffin and chocolate chip cookie one time and the gf/df berry muffin the next, all of which I’d get again. My boyfriend and I also enjoyed our lattes— as baristas, we were impressed with the staff’s skilled latte art, especially considering I got mine with oat milk. The atmosphere was totally fine. I could personally just go without the music playing as it seemed a little all over the place, and the tables are fairly close together, but it’s evident they’re trying to utilize the space they have and provide as much indoor seating as possible for customers. I’m looking forward to coming back to this coffee shop as it’s very accommodating and overall very pleasant.

The staff were very kind and accommodating. Cortado served on a wooden tray with a glass of bubbly was exactly what I was looking for while exploring Holland for the day. They were even nice enough to top me off with some more bubbly when I asked. Coffee was delicious.

A very yummy vegan burrito with vegan chorizo! So pleased to have such a solid vegan option. Make sure you get your salsa Verde if you get a burrito, it's essential and it was forgotten with our burritos. Very delicious! Frappe was OK, but coffee is great!

Fireside latte! Delicious fresh espresso with think milk foam and cinnamon. Sweetened with honey. Excellent friendly service. Comfortable atmosphere.

Coffee was outstanding with robust flavor, but the muffin was a little underdone and gummy.

Downtown Holland has one of the best vibes in the Midwest, so, you would expect a great coffee shop in the mix. It turns out there are several, but Lemonjello's is my go to choice. The location is just a block off 8th and on the edge of Hope campus. Hence, there's a mix of students, professionals, and tourists, making this the best people watching location in holland. This is a place to meet old friends, or find new conversation. Coffee here is superior. I usually ask for A Shot In The Dark, and the delivery of a dark, rich, brew is consistent. It is also worth noting, the food choices thoughtfully include several vegan options.

Local staple. A must try! Great food, good service, fresh squeezed orange juice, hot coffee (flavored cream) and specials!! I usually get breakfast, cinnamon rolls and pancakes are a must try. I had a burger yesterday with an egg on it, it was SO FLAVORFUL, absolutely no complaints.

Food was very good. You have to get a cinnamon roll (freaking awesome). It may seem like it is going to be awhile before you get a table but really it wasn't very long. The food came out very quick.

The flavors! A breakfast must have! Crepe with fresh raspberry compote and homemade toast with homemade strawberry jam and orange juice squeezed to order! The prices are very affordable for the time and place and the portions are big.

The Wooden Shoe has been a Holland fixture for decades now, and it’s not hard to see why. They don’t make anything too complicated, but they do make fresh meals done well. This time I tried the chicken fried steak, and it was delicious. The breading was crispy and the sausage gravy was hearty. The potatoes and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the jam with the biscuit seemed homemade. Prices aren’t too outrageous either. Service was solid. It’s nice to see that some places manage to stay the same and stay successful over the years.

LOOK AT THIS CINNAMON ROLL 🤯 🔥 the eggs Benedict was great - I asked for spinach and tomatoes over the sausage or bacon. My partner got the raspberry crapes, they were very sweet and had fresh raspberry jam on them. They were super fast with the food and the place was booming - the wait wasn't too bad - 25 minutes or so for a Saturday morning around 11am 👍 will definitely be back for the biscuits and gravy - looked so good!

Love this place. I have been coming here for 30 plus years. It was my mom's favorite breakfast spot in Holland. This so in her memory we visit regularly when in town. It's attached to a store wooden show shop that's really nice to visit after you eat. It's a small restaurant but they always accommodate and make room for large groups ;which is a regular thing. It's always busy and the service and food are amazing. Great value and great place to look And shop. There is not one thing on the menu I haven't eaten but I recommend the omelettes for sure . Western being my favorite.

My wife and I were staying at the Tulyp hotel a few blocks away and walked over to this restaurant for breakfast on a Sunday morning. They had seating outside and inside. It has a kind of farmhouse store vibe with various blueberry items on display for sale along with the tables where people are sitting. When we walked in, there was a pretty big line and I thought that was the line to request a table, but it was a line to place an order. You have to order at the counter and then find a table yourself. I was a bit concerned about this because I wondered what we would do if there was no table available since every table was currently taken. We ordered a blueberry donut latte, a blueberry mimosa, Hash and Quiche and they handed us a number to place on our table. We were able to find a table right away and they brought our Latte and Mimosa to the table quickly, both of them were really good. The food was brought out about 10 minutes later. One other thing I found strange was you have to take your plates, glasses, cups and silverware to bins in the back when you are leaving your table and this along with the ordering process made it feel like a fast food restaurant and it’s really not fast food. With that said, I’d still come back here again because everything we had was really good but I wish they would make it more like a regular restaurant.

A nice bakery right in downtown. They have an awesome selection of bakery items. We had lunch there and found the lines to be long. It seems to me that it is also quite expensive ($17 for a grilled chicken club) They were also incredibly busy inside. It was difficult to find a table, and it was really loud. I had a salad and we also shared the above mention grilled chicken sandwich. The food was really good, but as I said previously, it was quite pricey.

The fiesta power bowl was good and filling. There’s a lot of light in here, so that is really nice. You order as soon as you go in, and the menu is on screens above the register. Lots of handheld foods and pastries of sorts. It seemed nice to meet up with people here and have a space to sit, especially around dinner time.

Came in for lunch. Had a chicken sandwich and tomato soup, which were both delicious. Chicken breast , although juicy and meaty, was on the smaller side, especially for $18. Soup was perfect. Picked up a couple of donuts on our way out, and those were amazing. Dining area was cozy, but many dirty tables.

A solid 4 stars. The order-at-the-counter cafe had the potential to be more, but the entrees fell a little short of their potential. The BBQ sandwich had very little coleslaw and was a wee bit salty and the power bowl was very heavy on squash, with about four cups, while light on other ingredients, as you can see from the photos. A little tweaking and attention could easily make these entrees better. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 stars

Bowermans is a cute shop with lots to look/purchase, friendly employees, and outstanding food. The best meal we had during our stay in Holland. Would def come here again.

Stumbled into Bowerman’s during our day trip to Holland for a cup of coffee and a treat. It was quite busy so the line was a bit messy and confusing, especially since their menu is hard to look at. We got some coffee and donuts and enjoyed both. Would definitely be back, next time for a sit down brunch to give us more of a relaxed experience.

What a great, happening coffee shop! Plenty of space with places to eat out front, inside, and in the rear. The coffee is really good, and so is the service. I had a Peanut butter banana waffle and it was amazing. There is a lot in the back, but also street parking and a row of free parking in front of the Post office, which is two doors down.

Lovely cold brew coffee for me and a latte with a heart for my spouse. People were friendly and kind, space was clean and had a cool design. Loved the murals on the outside of the building!

Hipstersly and relaxing coffee & beer spot to read or meet with friends. They have a nice selection of lattes and a few beers on tap. I tried the iced cold brew and my husband enjoyed a cold Founders Mortal Bloom on tap. I like the decor and vibe of the place, lots of hanging plants and wooden tables. I would try it again!

The 205 is a fun and cute place to eat, but it is very expensive. For 2 drinks and 2 waffles it was about $35 before tip. They do not list their prices on the menu in-store, but you can see them if you order online. It is often quite busy so it's not really a calm or quiet vibe. But the space is beautiful and service is good and fast.

Wonderful little shop :-) We got there as soon as they opened and within minutes, there were a dozen people there to grab coffee. The 205 definitely seems to be local favorite! The barista’s were really cool! Very good with the people as well as their craft. I got the barista‘s choice latte and it was delicious! The price was good too, a latte and a pastry cost me what just a latte would cost at most coffee shops! Overall 10/10 experience, would definitely go back again if I’m ever in the area.

Great spot! Indoor/ outdoor. Great parking in lot, or on the street. Also, serves alcohol after 2pm, so it was a very fun start to our stroll through this fun town.

Not the best vegan experience :/ I got the hippie hash vegan, and bit into a big piece of beef hash. The waitress was kind and took my meal off of the bill and did what they could to mend the mistake. My friends all enjoyed their food. The fresh juice was delicious and refreshing. The atmosphere resembled a retro diner with lots of unique decor. We came during tulip fest, it was very busy and the whole experience took much longer than we had anticipated. Overall I would not recommend the vegan menu for people that avoid cross contamination.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Annie’s House! The selection of vegetarian & vegan options blew me away! I could hardly decide what to choose as we are not used to so many options on the menu! My husband had the Vegan Big Breakfast and the sausage was absolutely delicious! The pancakes were huge & the overall portion was quite large! I had the Southwest Eggs Benedict with vegan chorizo & poblano hollandaise sauce! It was exquisite! 🤤 And more than I could finish! The service could’ve been a tad bit more attentive if we’re being picky but they were very busy & our waitress was very polite! The atmosphere was a neat 50’s retro vibe that I adored! Really it lacked nothing!! 10/10 recommend & will go back if ever in the area again!

Super cute place! Pretty busy on a Sunday around noon. Our waitress was nice and the food was really good. They have a lot of good options on the menu. I got a vanilla iced latte that I wasn’t a huge fan of, probably will just get regular coffee or a water next time.

We love visiting Anna’s House when we are in town. They meet my dietary restrictions and are super accommodating. To have this many vegan options is unheard of. Very tasty! I believe they use Just Egg and Follow Your Heart cheese. Highly recommend! I recommend doing the regular pecans not candied for waffle.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Far better than any IHOP or Denny's. They have a huge selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options! I felt so comfortable with the staff on my first visit. I'm excited to come back to try more items off the menu - they have such amazing options. I got the breakfast lasagna and sweet potato fries and I crave it to this day! 😩🖤

Stopped by here while on a trip to Holland. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. My group loved the retro vibe of the decor, which was beautiful.

Clean restaurant with lots of parking around building. We were greeted right away despite it being very busy. Our wait was only 5-10 minutes which was not bad at all for the time of day we went. Our server was very busy but still friendly. Our drinks were brought out promptly and refilled as needed. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and was delicious. We ordered the Farmers Breakfast with French Toast - presentation was on point. Eggs were cooked to perfection. French toast was fluffy and delightful, the hashbrowns are always on point. We also got a Farmers Omelette - lots of yummy veggies in it- it was mouth watering. We will be back, YUM!

Wow! For a long time, we have loved the biscuits and gravy from Bob Evans, but we never stopped there for dinner. After this one time, I will never have dinner there again. Breakfast, maybe, but their dinners are truly bad! Starting with the waitress, I was impressed that she did not write down our order. Now I know why: she got everything wrong! I won't go into all the details, but just know that this is a very badly run place and their food is just bland.

The food is about what you'd expect at a chain like this. Satisfying but not overwhelmingly wonderful. Our server was great. She stayed on top of our drink refill and took our dirty plates away promptly. The atmosphere, again, basic for a place like this.

The service is what stood out, emma was great! I came in from out of town for a wedding and I had some questions about the area and needed directions and she was happy to help me out with it. She came around at the perfect times to check in on me. Food quality was solid and came out quickly. Very friendly crew

The service was terrible. Our waitress was rude did not check on us. We waited for over 20 minutes for our food and it was lukewarm warm. When we nicely informed the waitress that the orders were wrong and given things we discussed not order she snapped at us and gave a rude comment. We had to go ask for our check. Will not go there again. Horrible.

Just got sad down with my fiance and our child to eat and the staff started heckling us about how we aren't allowed to have a car seat in the restaurant because its a walking hazard but refused to give us a high chair when we were told we could have one when we requested seating. I highly advise aginst any family's eating at the Holland Michigan Bob Evans. 0/10 didnt even get to order food.

Stopped p into the Holland store because a omelet was pulling at my food strings, and I will say I had a great experience the bright pink hair waitress was so friendly and out going, Alexis thank you for solving my omlette cravings

Only a 15 min wait. The waitress forgot about my family and had to ask us if she got our order. Upon receiving food some of it was cold. Waitress did not stop by our table for drink refills or to see how everything tasted. Had to ask another employee to get a manager as we were sitting there for 15 min after others finished their food. Manager did take 1 meal off the bill as it didn't get eaten.

Food was fresh and hot. 45 min. wait for a table and 30 min. wait for food cause there's was 2 people in the kitchen and a server (The Manager) she was sitting, serving and cleaning tables, basically running the restaurant by herself, poor lady, she was very friendly. Restrooms were disgusting.

Went in for the cheep breakfast deal they have. My fave scrambler was pretty good, had scrambled eggs with bacon, cheese and hash browns. My wife had a dish with plain scrambled eggs, pancakes and bacon..The pancakes were alright, the bacon was too salty for her and eggs were dry and flavorless. They were only $6 meals, our waitress wasn't as pleasant as the others, and the kid that showed us to our table seemed upset that he had to be there.

Just leaving the holland location. It was super busy! Host stand quoted a 10 min wait; was more like 25. I will say our server Sergio saved the entire experience. Very attentive, professional, above and beyond kind. I was looking around seeing other tables with different servers; the guests seemed to be getting impatient. I’m very lucky and thankful I got the luck of the draw with Sergio. This man needs a raise! Or definitely a show of appreciation. Thanks Sergio.

Came in as I had plans to meet someone here to sign some paperwork..!! Met a waitress at the door coming in that I would say acted as tho she was bothered that I walked in the door..!! She then asked if it was just me and I said there will be 2 of us so corner booth would be good..!! Did all of my paperwork and the other person left so I'm sitting here flopping the menus around to maybe quietly get the waitresses attention yet to no avail after sitting for a good 10 minutes with none of the waitresses looking my way I actually had to rudely say Excuse Me to get someone's attention..!! Not the first time this has happened and will be the last time I ever set foot in this establishment again..!! When waitresses expect a gratuity then perform like you want that and there won't be a problem..!!

First friends of a server was able to be seated before us and we were told we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Then when we received our food one whole meal was cold, didn't even melt butter. What a shame. Seems all kids who would rather play around then their jobs

This restaurant reminds me of the mom and pop restaurant that I had my first server job at when I was 17. The homemade deserts, breads, and the soup and salad bar are something we will be back for. Lylania gave us exceptional service. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was because I did have a light color hair in the cut of my tunamelt about the length of a mustache hair. I let the server know and enjoyed the rest of my meal. The coffee is very nice full flavored, not weak like so many other places. My husband had the stacked meatloaf, which he says with the meatloaf sauce mix with additional gravy wasn't the greatest. But he did eat it all and didn't send it back so that is a star all one for him!!! Lol. He was very impressed with his onion rings. Side note the server did go and make sure everyone had gloves and hair net and the manager gave us a $5 comp for the bother.

I got a to go order. The fish and fries were good as was the Caesar salad. We also ordered a coconut creme pie and an apple dumpling. The dumpling wasn't warm but not sure if that was because I got it to go. Great service and food was delicious.

My wife and I love coming to the Southside Russ'. Food is always good, and we never feel like we overpaid. Highly recommend Russ'.

Russ’ is a solid pillar of Holland, Michigan, with a Dutch style menu that includes food conceptualized from the 1970’s and 1980’s, give or take. The grilled sandwiches are still the same great tastes and quality has not diminished over the years. The dining area is well lighted with lots of windows, neat and clean, with heavy wooden tables and seating as well as booths. Staff is friendly and responsive. There is still a lot of support from the locals. Some of the most loved dishes are the slim gem, anything with smoked Gouda, fried mushrooms, fried clams, sweet potato fries, soups, soup and salad bar, chicken dinners, actually most of the dinners. There are good solid vegetarian options. And the apple dumplings, cakes, fruit pies and tarts are great,

We stopped in for lunch today and had an excellent meal. The coleslaw was SO good, the French dip was the best I’ve ever tasted and the fish &chips were delicious. Mandy was a top notch waitress and we highly recommend stopping in here for your next meal!

A group of about 23 people took a day trip today, And one of our stops was at Russ's restaurant, They were so well organized and the staff was so wonderful! So was the food! Good location and clean. Standard Panera menu and set-up, so no complaints. The food was okay - by far too overpriced for what you actually get. I'm also put off by the asking for a tip annoying when you're already over-paying and there's no table service. The soup was not There is free wi-fi, which is nice, as well as a drive-through. Indoor and outdoor seating is available as well. Plenty of free parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance.

Just ordered food and she give me the bag and when I opened it up the tomato soup top was half on and spilled hot soup in my leg and you can see the bag! Spent lots of money and half the soup is in the freaking bag and my leg!!! I want a refund for the tomato soup.

Went through the drive through today (8/30) at 2 PM when my mobile order was ready. It took us 15 minutes to get from the speaker to the window. When we got to the window, I asked if the food was kept under a warmer because it was a long wait. The girl gave me big attitude that they don't for mobile orders and I could come talk to the manager. Just didn't want to eat cold food 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nice Panera location on Holland’s northside. Fresh, REAL food- and more expensive because of those facts. My only complaint is that the soup is never served hot enough! Update July 2024- the soup was hot and probably the best tasting French onion soup I have ever had at a Panera location. Good job!! The salad was perfect too. It’s a little pricey , but it’s healthy and fresh!!

I liked eating here as it was a clean and good establishment. The prices are a bit high but it's not the restaurants fault. People who are complaining about messy tables and other similar stuff just haven't worked during a lunch rush.

All the tables were gross and sticky. Trash and crumbs all over the floor. We had to clean off our own table to eat here. They put the smallest portion of Mac and cheese in our bread bowl that was 12 dollars. Very disappointed.

Classic diner with friendly helpful staff. The pecan rolls and bread were a bit dry, but the gouda/ham omelette was good. They allowed me to substitute egg whites for my omelette as well.

Russ’ Restaurant takes you a step back in time. So charming and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Kristi was great. Tasty food & tons of options. I look forward to going again!

Russ’ on River has always been a family favorite! Its recent remodel is so cute and well done. It’s a Holland gem. The western burger is hands down the best burger in town. The fries are crispy and delicious.

Very good hometown Mom and Pop restaurant. Lisa was our server and she was awesome. Learned a little more about the restaurant and loved the atmosphere You are interested in something to eat many steps above fast food. You should highly think about coming here.

The food is top notch. The service is great and friendly. It's comfortable but can get pretty noisy. It was 90 degrees out so their air conditioning was having some trouble keeping up. Great place though.

The meatloaf was quite salty, with an odd flavor. Mashed potatoes were instant. Cole slaw was good, as was the dinner roll.

Purchased a milk only to take a sip and find out it was 2 months expired. I went up to exchange it only to find out that all of the similar milks were 2 months expired. I informed the worker and asked to exchange it for a soda since those milks were all expired, and I asked to pay the difference between the 2 drinks. So the soda being $2.50 and the Milk about $1.50, I expected to pay .99. But instead they charged me the full amount for the soda, to which at that point I just paid because it wasn't worth arguing and I'm not that type of person. But as my family and I sat to eat, they proceeded to sell at least 3 of those milks to children...even though I had JUST told them that they all were expired, and it was the same woman that I had talked to as well. No one went to clean them out of the fridge...they just proceeded to sell them as they were wanted. I understand if it was a couple days or even a week expired, but 2 months?? Then to not clean them out or at least remedy a situation? But then to continue to sell expired product? These things dont normally bother me but the lack of care within a food industry is concerning be cause what else is expired or being neglected then?

This has been one of my favorite places since I was a kid. Love the bagels and cream cheese. The breakfast sandwiches are just ok. They store is clean and comfortable and the restrooms are kept up well.

Well I’ve never had a problem with Big Apple before and today my order was messed up and had to pay for another bagel which wasn’t an issue I wasn’t upset I didn’t think I was rude in asking if She only charged me for one I get we wear masks and it’s hard to hear but this is my problem I know they have to see the bagel as they put cream cheese on it this was beyond burnt sad because I drive 23 minutes to get there I don’t mind waiting either but this today was unacceptable when we I know they are busy but giving someone a burnt bagel is just sad but I’ll continue to go but only to the south Washington one! Today they get one star when most times it’s a five 😔 I did try to eat it but nope to much for my taste buds

Waited in line for 15 minutes on Sunday morning to find out the have no muffins. All advertising for muffins still in place, but none in stock. The employee working the register isn’t sure if they are getting them back or not. A sign on the door would have saved me and others time and frustration.

We LOVE Chick-fil-A. The food was great and my kids love the play place. I am on their rewards email list and I get a reward at least once a month for something free to come in and eat l, usually breakfast. However last month it was the new pretzel sandwich which is amazing as well as the Cherry Berry Sprite. Without the free promo I doubt I would have tried them and found my new favorites to eat! Also Todd is amazing. He’s so cheerful and a delight to have in the dining room. My kids love talking to him and if we go weekly he usually remembers them from week to week and asks about how an event in their life went.

Me and my wife went out on a little date to this locution as we’re from Hastings area. I must say this was probably one of the best experiences in a fast food restaurant ever. Right away I noticed positive attitudes from the workers. I also noticed the manager Todd greeting everyone that came in and doing table checks to make sure everyone was happy if they needed anything. It was refreshing to see a manager happy to be there and leading by example by wiping tables down and keeping a positive environment. Thank you much!

This location is always busy and that’s no surprise. The food is hot and fresh, the service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I am gluten free and I enjoy the grilled chicken option. Chic fil A restaurants should try to look at other gluten free options for buns, as I’ve generally found their brand dry, crumbly and unable to hold together for the entirety of the sandwich. This is not exclusively at problem at this location, it’s something at the corporate level.

Such an amazing dining experience. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with fresh cookie samples. One of the managers came up to us as we were line and asked us how we were. It was such a kind gesture and my friend and I had so much fun meeting the employees. There was a very young employee who was very hardworking and thoughtful. Our food came out after about 4 minutes of waiting. They were very busy so it was surprising how soon. We will be coming back. Best chick fil a I've ever been to.

We live about an hour away and come to Holland for the dentist and decided to stop at the 2332 N. Park Dr. location so my girls could play before our drive home. My toddler had an accident in the play room and not only did they immediately clean it up they also remade our food so it would be hot for us after we ran to Walmart for new pants. I was not expecting that level of kindness and understanding from a fast food restaurant, it overwhelmed me. When we walked back in the doors after getting the new pants we were met with coupons for kids meals for our next visit and hot fresh food. Thank you so much to the manager Todd and his crew!

We love Chick-fil-A, but this location takes the cake. We had several people that we very attentive to our needs. We felt like we needed to leave a tip at the table because they helped us out so much. We didn't need to go get any refills or clean out table. So happy we chose this location to eat. Ten out of ten, will eat here again!

They literally fill my cup to the top with ice so I get hardly any coffee and they almost always mess up my order. Don't have any modifications to your order because they will not get it right. I wish I lived closer to the 16th st one because they never mess up and don't fill my cup to the brim with ice. Do better north Holland location!

This is the best Starbucks in town!! They make the drinks soooo well and the service is great! The barista who helped me today was very kind, pretty sure her name was Emily! Hope it stays this way!

Great Starbucks experience again!!! Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Food is always a know quantity of being really good. The dragon drink (1st time trying) was amazing. Quick and efficient. The 4 star on atmosphere is the outdoor seating is great, but traffic noise bumps it down one star. Not a reason not to go here, but worth noting if you prefer outdoor dining with a little better ambiance.

I love this location. Kenzie and Connie and the whole team are amazing. Super friendly and accurate when they make my orders and they call me by name and know my drink and carry friendly conversation even if I ordered in drive thru. I love the notes Kenzie leave for me on my orders. They are the highlight of my days and know how to make my day is the best and would try to stop at this location and say hi to them and get my drink at least 3 times a week. In my personal opinion this team are the best Starbucks location in all USA. I wish that all the places had a great team like this even my work place.

Us Holland folks love this Starbucks even if the service is sometimes incredibly slow, maybe because there’s always a long line of cars whenever I get coffee. Their coffee is a hit or miss, sometimes its awesome but at times its just alright.

My new favorite coffee shop! The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant. Coffee is SO GOOD. I highly recommend the cold brew and checking out their fun seasonal drinks.

Very great guy that works here. And a fantastic looking place I might add. Got me a dark roast with cream and sugar. Gentleman even was willing to remake the coffee if it didn't taste right xD I drink my coffee however it tastes tbh I'm not picky. It's just the fact that he was willing to remake me one which I have to say is excellent customer service. This is a family owned business to which means they're very friendly. I very much enjoy coming here for my daily cup of Joe 😆

I’ve lived in Holland my whole life… how haven’t I been here before?! Joe2Go is seriously a gem! Not only are the coffee, food, and smoothie options incredible, but the staff was hospitable, warm, and welcoming!! This will be my new go-to spot 100%. Also for you dairy, gluten-free, and vegans, they have options for you - YAY

I made the mistake of thinking this was fast food. Its not. Its more like a cafe with a decent sized menu. The wait is a little longer, but I liked my food so much better. I ended up getting a sandwich and a coffee; both were very good. Wait staff was friendly. The windows for ordering and picking up were a little higher than normal, so prepare to get your car close to the building and kind of the one in front of you. Would go again for a good lunch.

Pretty good baked goods. They are very popular. There was a line but it moved quickly. Very popular spot. We tried a variety of pastries, which were all pretty good. Very good flavors. The baked goods were rich and really nice. The staff was also really nice too. They also have free water by the door, which is cool too. Overall, a pretty good experience.

Super yummy bakery that had a consistent line the entire time we were there on a Wednesday morning. The line moved quickly and our sandwiches were out within 10 minutes. Large filling sandwiches for the price- I had the pimento hot honey chicken sandwich and my husband had the chorizo sandwich. Both delicious- crunchy chicken and creamy pimento cheese was a great combo and chorizo was full of flavor. Got donuts to go which were fresh and delicious!

Quick, friendly service. Always packed, but clean. Baked goods always fresh & delicious. Got a brewed coffee, was very good. They have a simple self-service station with sugar packets, half & half & stir sticks. Daughter got a Caramel Creme & it took a few extra min to get that, but she really liked it (& she's picky).

Bring the actual tim hortons back

Pretty good! Not just the typical hotel lobby bar. Wait staff is very friendly & attentive. Food is pretty good. Prices are reasonable. And then there's the convenience of not needing to leave the hotel to find a good meal.

Buffet table food was cold and the plates were dirty. For being a part of the Double Tree in Holland it’s surprising you have to pay for the breakfast considering lesser hotel chains offer a higher quality breakfast for free. Save yourself 25 dollars and go to the Denny’s across the street.

Closed on my first day and not serving alcohol today. Worst Hitlon property I have ever stayed at. Just horrible. Hilton should remove their name from the sign ASAP.

About the friendliest staff out of a 46 year lifetime of going to McDonald's. I'm honestly ashamed at myself for the way I acted when the app screwed my order up(not the staff🤦‍♂️) and the manager kept her head and continued to be kind and helpful. She deserves more recognition for the way she dealt with me, but the entire staff is amazing. The only reason I couldn't give them a 5 is becaues on a few occasions they have been extremely slow.

1) At 7am, despite there being no line inside, couldn't get help at the counter. Manager appeared angry and focused on drive thru ops. 2) Eventually able to inform the manager that the restroom needed to be addressed-- toilet overflowing. 3) As of 10:30am, over 3 hours later, toilet still overflowing -- lost whatever appetite I had. I would post pics of the restroom if it was appropriate.

Okay bye… and they push you off. Anywho I normally love the food and staff. But lately they just push you in and out. (I get it it’s fast food but seriously) when mistakes are made take your time. Food was burnt and I think I got an older bagel… cause it was a little cold.

One of the better burritos I’ve had from McDonald’s and I’ve ordered a lot of them from numerous locationsover the years! It was stuffed pretty full of ingredients and was served hot!

Came here after a 12hr work shift. Drive thru girl was rude. I was trying to to order y food . Not only did she cut me off but over charged me for a meal they said wasn’t available. I wasn’t done ordering and she cut me off so when I got to the window I asked if I could add something. N was told I had to drive all the way around again.. sandwich was wrong and missing items..

Limited menu choices. Note I believe that the listed hours are wrong, they are not open 24-hours but instead closes at 03:00. Food quality at this location is generally good. No soft drink fountain, this is common with the remodelled locations, drink refills may or may not be available. I usually use a mobile order to get discounts and will then pick it up at the restaurant at eat it there indoors.

Location can be hit or miss. Depends on the time and day. If you’re lucky enough you’ll sometimes get hot fresh fries! I usually order off the app you get points and it’s quick!

Ordered a small chicken sandwich, which was surprisingly pretty good. It actually reminded me of the fish fillets I used to order (probably the mayo.) The dining room and restroom are always clean. I interacted with 3 different crew members ... every one of them was friendly and helpful. I always stop here for a quick lunch when in town.

My son is dyslexic and he is unable to use the do it yourself ordering screen.. He goes in often and sits sometimes 15 minutes before anyone comes to the register.. Sometimes longer... They stand and stare at him.. He's embarrassed to say anything and I don't blame him.. He shouldn't have to explain himself for them to have to do their job. Totally unacceptable!

Was in the line waiting for like 20 minutes or more cuz I couldn't get their shit right ask for sweet tea and they gave us non-sweet team couldn't get their shit together

I ordered on the app for the new Monopoly game and I didn’t get any of the monopoly pull off tabs as I have at other locations. I simply called to let them know I was missing them which was the whole point of ordering it, and they argued that other locations are supposed to be doing the same as them. So I’m now out on my chance to play their advertised game, and I’m not sure their employees are well informed on the advertisement because they just thought I was asking what I could order for it. (Which yes my item was named off) I honestly would have just ordered a $2 cheeseburger if I knew my money and chance to win were going to be wasted. I know it’s simple but it’s the only reason I even ordered it.

The food is always as expected and I enjoy it every time I go. The drive through sometimes gets backed up but it's worth the wait! They keep things clean and the whole experience is delightful.

Worse McDonald’s I’ve been too food is really dry didn’t get my order right

The gentleman who wax on the drive thru taking our order was VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND. His language barrier was proving that he should not be on the window. Several times we had to have him repeat himself because he didn't recall what our order was. Ex: no pickle on burger, yet repeated to us that the burger was coming to us as is. Before getting to the window, we had to correct him to be sure that they were going to be without pickle.

We had an excellent experience at this McDonald's. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Pedro was very friendly and kind to us. Highly recommend 👍🤩

Asked for extra syrup and butter when ordering food. Kinda surprised when I was charged 60 cents because I was never charged previously but figured “what the heck” it’s only 60 cents. Really surprised when I got home with my order and found no extra syrup or butter,no napkins and no jam for the biscuits! I’ve already complained about having to “drive ahead” and wait on approximately 40% of my drive-thru orders at this location,now it seems that they are slower and less accurate than most places!

Following up on a previous review. Got told to use the online feedback link, which I did. Received an email from corporate saying "Customer Care has immediately shared the information provided with the Restaurant Leaders, as they are best suited to review and address your concern. " Still haven't heard back. This is poor customer service. Is it on me to make sure they follow up and fix the issue?

Staff "lost my order" in two visits in a row. The woman next to me asked about her order and their response was "we are busy right now we are getting to orders as fast as we can" but then after 30 min they asked why I was waiting and I showed my order. I was then told I should've come up and asked if I had been waiting, as if it was my fault they lost my order for THE SECOND TIME. I have an hour for lunch and to get half of it wasted for the second time and not even get an apology but be told it's my fault they lost my order shows an absolute disregard for basic human decency let alone respect to customers. Edit: Removed the one extra star I had given the food because I discovered they did not give me the sauce or ketchup I had on my order. So after 30 min and no remorse they didn't even bother giving me the full order. Edit 2: Gave a service star back because at least someone gave me an extra cookie, which isn't much but I guess it's not nothing.

They didn’t give my kids meals the extra fries.. then I got charged for a slice of cheese that they didn’t put on my sandwich. When I called they told me to come back and they will give me a slice of cheese. I told then that I couldn’t come back. They told me to save the sandwich and come back the next day!! They were rude on the phone talking to me and were laughing about it. It was a female manger. They have the worst customer service ever!

What used to be a famously iconic fast food restaurant seems to have no customer care anymore a McDonald's that says 24 hours on Google always arrive after placing my online order just to get sorry we're closed for the next 15 minutes and when I tell them I have an online order they tell me they were trying to switch to breakfast at 3:45 a.m. in a return I get refried french fries and poor service. Breakfast shouldn't start till 4:45 - 5:00 at best. The second McDonald's in Holland that has just went to trash. Will not be returning. Also ice cream and shakes are never available. Machines are curiously always down. We rarely ever eat out anymore but sometimes all you have time for is a quick meal on the way home after work but this McDonald's has disappointed me again and again.

Fast food without fast service - dozens of people waiting indoors, line backed out to steer in drive through. All I wanted was a cup of coffee and I waisted roughly 30 minutes for this "fast service".

I'm very disappointed 😞 I've always buy smoothie here and enjoy it but tonight I stop by and buy a small strawberry banana smoothie and got pour ice and that man, not sure if he's Mexican or Indian over charge me, i gave him $20 and he should've gave me $16.09 ge gave me $15.09, I told him he only give me $15.09 and he still hasn't give me my right change back.. I'm so disappointed 😞 and don't think I'll go back to buy from that McDonald's again...

If negative stars were an option that’s what they would get. Took my order, took my money and then made me wait 45 minutes to get a single burger and drink. Then that simple burger wasn’t even what I had ordered. When I asked to speak to someone in charge I was denied because “they don’t have time for little girls”, guys I’m in my 40’s, there isn’t anything young or little about me.

Enjoyed my food and they had an incredibly nice manager! He provided a great customer experience and you can tell he also takes good care of his employees. Although it's on the smaller side, it's definitely one of the nicer McDonald's I've been too.

Just stopped here and had the staff actively ignore me while they chatted with each other and a line of four more people formed behind me. Finally, a different batista came to take orders, and still got mine wrong. The staff was so slow, and now backed up when there wasn't a single person in line or order being made when I arrived and waited five minutes before the two girls stopped chatting. Wasn't going to leave a review, but realizing they also messed up my order (gave me vanilla flavor and cold foam instead of salted caramel) pushed it over the edge.

Workers unfriendly and talking about how they wished they didn't work there. Drinks were made wrong, even though I specifically asked them if they understood. Standing and talking to their friends and ignoring customers when they were trying to order.

It’s a small store inside of Fresh Market, but there is plenty of seating.

Ordered 4 Frappuccino’s the barista didn’t say one word until she handed them to us she said “ Umm can you guys not come back here and just go to a stand alone Starbucks if you’re going to order this much” I’ve been to hundreds of Starbucks from here to Atlanta and never once been told not to come back for buying too many coffees!!! Then to top it off she didn’t even put ice in the Carmel Frappuccino so it just tasted disgusting. Thank god I won’t be returning to this location!!!

My favorite Starbucks in Holland by far! Abby, Penny and the others are great. Its not just business at this Starbucks. Great customer service and a great attitude really make it a pleasant stop first thing in the morning.

I waited for the lady with 12 minutes on the clock still open only to be rudely told they didn't have the product I wanted and that they were closing. Didn't want the business too bad.

It was OK... For some reason the coffee was not as strong as it usually is. Staff was nice. Lemon loaf was awesome!!

Kids asked for tacos no lettuce. Not trying to game the system to get more meat and cheese, just asking for realistic portions w no lettuce. When the 9 year old says "dad, there's hardly anything in this, you're getting ripped off" you know you are. I asked them to remake them. They said no, and that they have portion scoops and won't give more. I took photos and asked for a refund. They said fine until they realized we paid cash and didn't know how to make change. So they asked if they could remake them, which is what we wanted. Took them at least 10 minutes to figure out what to do and how to respond, as if we were the first order they had returned. They were pretty stuck up about it and not helpful. Taco Bell is definitely on the low end, but this is the worst I've been to.

Was rushed through the drive through while placing our order. The CSR, got the order wrong several times prior to finalizing the order and making sure that the screen was correct. While reading the screen, I was rushed through it trying to verify it was right! I asked for a little more time and I felt like I was asking for a week instead of a few minutes!

Love this place. Come at least once a week and everyone who works there is so nice. The food is BUS. The only thing is sometimes there is a very long line but ik they cant do anything about that and the food being so good makes it worth it.

I bought a chicken burrito that was mostly unmelted cheddar (or other) cheese and mayonnaise with a few chunks of chicken. It was grilled and overall disgusting. I won’t go back. And word to the wise, if you care about your health, at least check out the nutrition information by googling the item you’re thinking of buying there. I passed up one item that seriously had 42g of fat.

We came through the drive in and had multiple mobile orders and they “didn’t have enough food” and it would be a 45 min wait. And when we checked in our orders they responded a rude way. Was not happy, would not recommend if you want them to make a trip with a lot of people. They made it clear that they had enough food, but just didn’t want to make it.

Ordered extra beef and was charged for it. Barely any meat on it. The Baja blast might be blue but tastes like sparkling water. Highly recommend the location on south Washington. I wouldn’t have ordered had I’ve known it was coming from this location. What I’ve heard is true. Quality is terrible.

Adding some detail to the review, staff always sounds like they're having a good time! Very clean store every time I visit, and pretty fast service! I understand when it's busy. Past several visits have been pleasant.

Cute place. The food was decent but you don't really get much for the price. I had the Spinach, Feta, and Pesto Wrap and my friend had the Chicken Pesto Flatbread. The smoothies were pretty good.

Disappointing Experience We were really looking forward to a quick, enjoyable stop at Tropical Smoothie, but unfortunately, the visit was a letdown. First, my sister’s quesadilla came without the chicken — kind of a key ingredient. Then my cousin never got her food at all and had to re-order it, which is just unacceptable. To top it off, my dear father was given the tiniest water cup imaginable — practically a shot glass. For a place that usually does better, this visit was chaotic and careless. Hoping this was just an off day, but definitely disappointed

I don't know where to begin about this place. I went in on a whim because a smoothie sounded good. I had just previously given up Pepsi and was looking for an alternative. I found one, boy did I find one. There was not one smoothie I did not like. Yes, I tried them all. We were there almost 3 months. Towards the middle of our stay I started adding different sandwiches, wraps and flatbread. Again, I loved them all. I had only been going once a day but I'm almost embarrassed to say how often I was going in. The staff. Oh my goodness gracious, the staff was beyond superb. The managers are the some of the best folks I've met in a long time. Jacob is one of my favorites. 😁 There were a few of the girls I really liked too. They are all good people. I'm so sad we left the area because of two reasons, one being I don't get to see their SMILING faces and two, I have lost 27.5 pounds during my stay and "experiment". I no longer eat fast food. Rob & Bonnie put me on a clean path of eating. Thank you Rob & Bonnie for being some of the most awesome people I have ever met. I added a before and after pic of my results.

When I ordered they ignored half of my order! I got my smoothie and had to wait in line for like 15 mins to order again!! That’s ridiculous!!! They wear out of barbecue chips. The employees weren’t washing their hands, so they had to put a sign in the bathroom. I was so excited for dinner there and I was very disappointed with my experience.

Garbage. You will never get a refund if you have any issue. I was charged 40 dollars on my account but never received for said paid service's. I've tried many times to get my money back and it has failed time and time again.

Friend found a fly in her wrap and reached out twice and never got a response back. Really turned her off from going back.
