Hamdeok Beach, located on the northern side of Jeju Island, is a popular tourist attraction known for its stunning scenery and clean, shallow waters. The beach features a picturesque arched bridge, a striking red lighthouse, and black volcanic rocks contrasting with soft white sand. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as camping or kayaking while taking in the serene surroundings.
The hamduck beach in Jeju-island is so beautiful place on earth. You can see so many fish and enjoy water sports as like snorkeling, surfing, sailing and foods.
Jay ( — Google review
The beach is neatly maintained, and is pretty huge too. Walking from one corner to the other is a task in itself. The waters are serene and peaceful. The beach has some great sand art that is photogenic. It is not that crowded too which makes it a perfect spot to spend some good quality quiet time.
Balasubramanian G — Google review
Loved this beach except there isn’t any shade so you have to bring your own. Most people with tents were respectful and set up at the back. There’s a trail on the east side to walk along.
K K — Google review
I visited with my wife on a weekday. It wasn’t exactly empty, but it wasn’t overly crowded either. On the beach, there were separate areas: one for parasols available for rent and another where visitors could set up their own parasols. Since there were plenty of activities and food options nearby, we were able to enjoy everything without needing to go elsewhere. As for parking, we used the free parking lot, but on busier days it might be difficult to find a spot there. So, it would be better to plan ahead for parking before visiting.
JaeHyeong J — Google review
Beautiful beach. White sands. I imagine it would be nicer in the warmer months when you can enjoy the water. Otherwise, there's not much to do here. Photo ops are plentiful, though.
Cassia G — Google review
This beach is really beautiful. Even though i didnt have chance to explore this place properly. Stopped there for about 20 minutes. But liked it! i wanna go there next time....
MAHFUZ K — Google review

Beaches
Hyeopjae Beach, located in the west of Jeju Island, is a picturesque spot with bright white sands and clear turquoise waters offering stunning views of Biyangdo Island. This tranquil stretch of beach is perfect for swimming and lounging, with amenities such as restaurants, cafes, changing rooms, showers, and parasols available. It is known for its long coastline and black volcanic sand.
We visited Hyeopjae Beach to watch the sunset, but got there early enough to enjoy walking along the rocks, beach and dip our feet in the beautiful emerald clear waters. Parking was super easy and plentiful right by the beach area. There were convenient restrooms, changing rooms and a place to wash off your feet right as you return to the parking area. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, and of course equipment rentals right at the beach. Lots of families enjoying time together, and exploring the shallow water areas between the lava ricks. Beautiful views and sunset!
Jill B — Google review
Lovely beach! Not rocky, quite shallow, beautiful water. It's also quite wheelchair accessible. From the (paid) car park on the left side of the beach, you can access an accessible toilet and a walkway along the beach (though quite sandy). On the right side of the beach there's even a ramp/slipway which goes into the water when it's at high tide - though beware of water surges with waves.
Victoria — Google review
We visited Hyeopjae Beach for a few hours in October. We had picked up a rental car near Jeju Airport and were on our way to Seogwipo. The black lava rock reminded me of the Big Island of Hawaii. It was also windy. Probably better in the Summer, but still worth a visit.
K J — Google review
Nice beach but quite busy. However it’s clean and you can rent a sun bed or table, flap tie and more. They have lockers too. The water is shallow and easy to play in. We had fun.
Blanka K — Google review
Beautiful beach with white powdery like soft sand. Very clean, clear sea with blue, green colours further out. There's a lagoon near the lava rock area where you can catch small prawns, fishes, snails, etc. The prawns will bite you if you were to stand there without moving. Many people at the beach. The tide is low when we went there so you can walk very far to the ocean as it's very gradual incline. There's shower area nearby and lots of shops selling drinks, souvenirs, and there's cafes too. Lots of parking space.
Noorzidah N — Google review
Had a great time here, the water level is too shallow to swim or either drown even if one goes far away 😀 Many kids were learning swimming here and in general people were just enjoying which was a great sight to witness!
Anchal G — Google review
Pretty beach with a rugged rocky section on the north coast Shops nearby for snacks Decent sand Beautiful views of smaller islands and clear blue waters Parasol rental available, although a little expensive and a bit set back from the shoreline (staff will setup for you) Clean toilets Parking lot on site is good prices Rocks on the coast as little shrines look very mystical. Recommend a visit!
Tellus 1 — Google review
Beautiful beach but quite narrow stretch of sand. Also the water was very shallow, good for kids but harder to fully immerse yourself without almost sitting down. Still beautiful though!

Jungmun Saekdal Beach is a popular spot located in the flamboyant Jeju Resort Complex on the south coast of Jeju Island. It offers large waves, making it a great surfing destination, and amenities such as showers and access to nearby eateries. The beach is conveniently situated just a short drive from Jeju City International Airport, making it easily accessible for visitors. Families will find plenty of attractions in the area, including iconic landmarks suitable for children of all ages.
Very pretty beach with great views, plenty of parking, came from the parking lot slightly east. Great place to take a longer stroll, since there are trails that connect from some of the resorts in the area which are readily accessible. Showers, lifeguards, restrooms all around as well. You can enjoy the ocean, catch some waves and sun, then grab some food, great place to spend a sunny afternoon.
Jason W — Google review
4.5/5 stars. It’s a pretty and small beach. Came in Oct so it wasn’t crowded. I grew up driving to Malibu beach in California regularly on the weekends, so this beach is not as impressive, but still has a nice vibe. Pictures turned out pretty with the palm trees and cliffs.
Miriam M — Google review
Beautiful beach with a peaceful atmosphere. There was a warning sign for jellyfish, but it didn’t take away from the experience. It’s a relatively small beach for walking along the coast, but the size and location felt just right. I’d love to go back and reconnect with nature anytime. I already miss it!
Global V — Google review
October 6th 2025. Water temp is like bath water, waves were small but fun and surfable for beginners. Waves were better/bigger yesterday. Good vibes. Highly recommend
Cole D — Google review
There is a large parking lot and an easy walk to Jungman Saekdal Beach. You may have to pay for parking during the high season, but we did not have to in October. The Jeju Surfing School was giving lessons. "Be Careful of Sharks".
K J — Google review
Great place! Big beach, great view, few people (we were there in early September). In the afternoon the waves come and you can surf. There are posters at the entrance to the beach that you can't swim because there are no lifeguards, but no one pays attention to it.
Dima W — Google review
Nice beach and great views. The beach has toilets which were relatively clean and maintained. There are a couple of shops near the entrance including a GS25. The beach is not the best for swimming as the waves are pretty aggressive, but it is just perfect for surfing a bit.
Julian M — Google review
A quiet, clean beach. The water was very blue, and the sand was golden. It's not very crowded.

Gwakji Beach, also known as Gwakji Gwamul Beach, is a beloved spot among locals and visitors alike. It offers wide sandy shores perfect for activities like clam digging and provides kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals. The beach's spring-fed public baths are an added attraction. Despite its outstanding facilities, the beach is often less crowded than others, making it an underrated gem for those seeking a serene and beautiful coastal experience without the usual buzz of popular beaches.
Gorgeous beach! We visited outside of official beach season so there we no chairs for rent, no lifeguards, shower rooms were closed and part of the beach was covered. But still – it was really bautiful, crystal-clear water and huge beach so you could definitely find a nice quiet spot.
Claudia K — Google review
Beach lovers! This is where you wanna be. No crowds no children and 1 km of sand and clear waters. However, be careful of swimming here as there is a public a movement warning that you could be swept out to sea if you are not careful. There are chairs and tables floor rental and a toilet for showering nearby . Take a dip and enjoy the blue waters of the Yellow Sea
Jeremy C — Google review
The day I went the water was cold but the benefit of this beach is the water is shallow so you can go out pretty far from land to swim without it being deep.
Warren W — Google review
Don't bother. Lots of trash on the beach. Lot of the sand is covered by a tarp to prevent to sand blowing on to the street. Also no free parking.
Martin — Google review
If I could rated zero, I would! The life guards at 4:00pm told everyone to get out of the water even though the water was calm. It’s like they can’t do their job, like saving people! How are you going to advertise the beach for jeju tourism and say you can’t go in. I went to another beach and they also told us we couldn’t go in. Is it because we are not native to Korea, is that why they are discriminating? We couldn’t even put our feet in. I put some photos and videos to show you how calm the water was. For sure these life guards don’t even know how to swim which is their job.
Thu N — Google review
Beautiful beach with white sand and blue water. Great place to take photos. Nice black volcanic rock. Very family friendly. There are bathrooms and an open air changing area for men and another one for women. Amazing place to watch the sunset. There are a few cafés around if you are hungry and want to buy something to eat.
Evelyne N — Google review
Super clean white sand beach in early morning. The different areas of the beach offers water at different temperatures and textured sand. The bright green seaweed is unique. swimming is fun and the facilities nearby are great. One of my favourite beaches in South Korea.
MD N — Google review
Pretty coastal walk. A lot of people canoning and snorkeling. Free outdoors pool area separated by males and females. There are free roofted chairs/tables where you can sit and enjoy the view. I swam in the area where there were a lot of kids, water was clear, not deep, and soft waves. Sand not as soft/fine as Hyeopjae Beach but if I lived here, I would probably come here a lot with friends/family. 🥰 Good day

Woljeongri Beach is one of the stunning beaches on Jeju Island, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and soft white sand. What sets it apart are the charming cafes and restaurants that line the shore, offering not only delicious food but also captivating architectural designs. These establishments provide a cozy retreat, especially during rainy days, allowing visitors to savor their beverages while admiring the picturesque views.
My review is based on my personal experience which can be so different from others' experience. (+) The most famous beach in Jeju, especially for a pre-wedding photoshoots (+) Breath-taking view, crystal clear water & clean beach (+) Lots of people come here for surfing (+) You can try kayaking on a clear-transparent kayak, so you can see the pretty color of the ocean (+) Lots of nice, pretty & instagrammable cafes with great views
Yennything — Google review
The sand is nice + the view. You find many benches and tables along it, so we had a small breakfast with things we bought from the convenience store next to it.
Stan O — Google review
Visit: May 2025 A really nice view of the ocean with the wind turbines in the background. It was cool to see the surfers out and riding the waves! Sadly didn't get to spend much time here and only passed by
Daniel T — Google review
A Magical Stay on the Coastal Jeju Island Jeju is a true paradise – breathtaking nature, turquoise waters, volcanic beaches, and a sense of tranquility like no other. Every morning, I enjoyed peaceful walks along the coast, taking in the stunning ocean views and lush landscapes. The local cuisine is a delight, from fresh seafood and kimchi to Jeju’s famous mandarins. I highly recommend visiting Seongsan Ilchulbong at sunrise for an unforgettable experience, as well as unwinding in the island’s natural lava pools. A perfect destination for relaxation, reconnecting with nature, and escaping the everyday hustle.
Fiat — Google review
For Jeju, this is a nice beach. Light colored sand, clean. There are also a bunch of quirkily laid out small buildings which are mostly cafes, some are convenience stores. Don’t expect a beach of the likes you’ll find in Indonesia or Thailand, otherwise you’ll be disappointed. The beach is fake here. Sand is trucked in, waves are very small. But hey, you are in Jeju, what do you expect.
Michael F — Google review

Iho Tewoo Beach, located in Jeju-si on the northern part of Jeju Island, is a paradise for leisure sports and offers stunning views of beautiful sunsets and night scenes. The beach is conveniently close to downtown Jeju City and the international airport. It features two landmark lighthouses shaped like horses, which are popular spots for Instagram photos.
A long stretch of sandy beach located very near to Jeju City. A nice place to take a walk and enjoy the scenery and sea breeze. There are two unique horse-shaped lighthouses at the end of the beach, one red in colour and the other is white. Many visitors come to take photos with them here.
CS C — Google review
Large sandy beach, very clean beautiful waters. This place has grown a lot since I lived here 15 years ago. Still brings back a lot of great memories. And my friend is now famously on the wall of old photos!
Vanessa T — Google review
Great spot for a quick walk or a meet up with friends. The water is clean and the sand is so soft. Never laid my hands on sand this soft before. You can relax here while watching the waves with the red and white horse light houses in the background. There's a free parking lot on one side of the beach.
Eleonora K — Google review
Clean sand beach and if you go on a good day, you will see a beautiful sunset. Overlooking the lighthouse with red and white horses located like another landmark of Jeju Island.

Great place for sightseeing just very close to Jeju international airport. There’s also a beach to hang out in the evening. Attracted to fishermen with great docking services.

Nice to take a stroll along the long stretch of sandy beach. The sea breeze is lovely. From the beach you can see the 2 famous horse lighthouses. Interestingly there’s a blower machine to blow/clean off the sand on you or your equipments.

Geumneung Beach, located on Jeju Island, is a stunning stretch of white sand and black volcanic rock formations. When the tide recedes, sandbanks appear with brilliant turquoise water snaking out to sea. It's less crowded than the popular Hyeopjae beach and offers a serene and spacious atmosphere for a quiet vacation.
I stayed here from nine in the morning and it was so peaceful and nice!
Sera — Google review
The water is beautiful but there were many submerged rocks which made it less fun to be in the water compared to Hyopjae This beach is also not wheelchair accessible - there's no ramp to get down to the sand. But you can sit by the car park/toilet (which is accessible) and have a lovely view
Victoria — Google review
Best beach we found in our trip to Korea. We were told it gets packed with people, but we were here in late september and there was plenty of space. The tide was low when we were there, so there was a HUGE area to walk until the water reached your knees. Water was clear and the island on the backround made it a scenic spot for pictures. We walked to the beach next to it at sunset and it was really pretty. It's far from other popular spots in Jeju but you won't regret getting here!
Javier M — Google review
Some of the best Beach habitat we have seen, especially in the lava rocks. We found shrimp, anemones, crabs, urchins, snails, mussels, and more! Bathrooms and foot washing station are great to have close by. Be advised, there is no TP in the stalls, you have to get it from the dispenser at the entrance of the toilet and take it in with you. Parking can be challenging, but people cycle through enough that spaces open up. The beach itself is well maintained and has several areas with umbrellas. Lifeguards in the swimming area, and plenty of tidal pools for the little ones.
Nathan B — Google review
Awesome beach! Amazing views all around. The beach is very large and in the water there are several sand bars so you can walk out into the water very far. The water and sand are both very clean and it wasn't crowded on a Saturday in September. Plenty of cool restaurants and spots around to visit too.
N B — Google review
The best beach out west? Was great at high tide and low tide, rocky outcrops and rock pools to explore, and the sunset was unreal. Worth at nights stay or even longer.

Pyoseon Beach, located on the southeast coast of Jeju Island, offers a variety of activities for visitors. Horseback riding programs include training courses, outdoor rides through cedar forests and along the beach from October to April. The beach itself is known for its stunning sunrise views and unique round lake shape that shines with various colors during low tide. It's a spacious area where visitors can relax, sunbathe, or swim without feeling crowded.
Pyoseon Beach is just the opposite of Jeju Folk Village. So after visited the Village, we came here. The beach is pretty large with wide white sands. It is the perfect place for families to spend some time relaxing, particularly at low tide with its lake-like pools.

Shallow beach, have to go 50-100m until you can swim. We didn’t stick around for too long, but for those interested there’s parasol rental ~30-40k won.

One of the great beaches of Jeju. Such a unique spot. Huge beach lots and lots of sand. Not the best swimming beach but on if the great sandy beaches.

Amazing beach! I loved spending my time here as it's peaceful and serene. The water is so clean and this beach has some amazing views. Would return when I'm back in Jeju! 👍

Samyang Beach, located closest to downtown Jeju, is renowned for its iron-rich black sand. This unique feature is a result of volcanic activity and is believed to have healing properties beneficial for various conditions such as neuralgia, arthritis, obesity, dermatitis, cold prevention, and athlete's foot. From mid-July to late September, many visitors come to experience the therapeutic effects of sand steaming.
This is a beach very close to Jeju city center. If you want to enjoy the beach for a while at sunset, this is a good choice. It has a good balance between bustling and quiet.
ChungChung B — Google review
This beach had some nice black sand. Very fine and neat to look at. Not as many folks on this beach as Hamdeok beach, but it is both smaller and located much more residential. When I was there in 27 Sep 2020, there seemed to be a lot of construction around the each which is why it lost a star. Not a ton of benches or places to sit either. Had a few restaurants near by as well.

Good for paddling, lying down on the beach and the rocky views nearby. Cons are the sand is really more dark grey, it's not really deep enough to swim (in the permitted area) and it gets extremely hot (the sand is darker is why).

Gimnyeong Beach Lighthouse is a stunning destination on the eastern part of Jeju Island, known for its white sand and aqua waters that create a tropical paradise reminiscent of beaches in Southeast Asia. The beach offers picturesque views with green algae along the lava rocks and clear blue waters reflecting the sky. Visitors can enjoy small cafes along the coast, offering a perfect spot to savor a cup of coffee while feeling the sea breeze and listening to the soothing waves.
I'm not a beach person but I love scenery and aesthetics. This is a beautiful beach and it was really intriguing to see black rocks! Had a great time here taking photos and seeing the sunset!
Samuel S — Google review
Gimnyeong Beach isn't just a location; it's a living painting. The cobalt blue of the ocean, a shade so vibrant it feels unreal, stretches out like a dream, mirroring the clear, crystalline water. It feels like stepping into a scene from 'Welcome to Samdalri,' a tangible slice of K-drama magic. While 'Welcome to Samdalri' brought it fame, it's the authentic local vibe that makes this place unforgettable. Gimnyeong Beach is a whisper of serenity, a place where the soul finds peace in the endless blue.

We were driving along the coast and had this in our listed stop because you can see the wind turbines and the beach in one view from here. It was raining in Jeju when we arrived but the beach was still amazingly turquoise in color. There's a lot of black hardened volcanic stone on scattered on the the white sand and it looked really pretty! The wind turbines added to the magnificent scenery. There was also a small plot of land by the parking entrance that was filled with rapeseed (canola) flowers. That was great for pictures as well.

Visited at the end of Olle 9. There 8s nothing special about this beach. It is pleasant enough. There were people camping at the upper edge. I saw one cafe that may be worth checking out next time. There was a large boat dropping a large object onto the sea and then pulling it up. It did not look like it was dredging. Maybe breaking up the rocks on the bottom?

Hwasun Golden Sand Beach is a nice beach without a lot of rocks to contend with. It's also sheltered from heavier waves by the sea wall that turns it into a harbor of sorts. Nice picnic areas and some good camping spots too. We like it because it's not prone to issues with currents that could be a danger to our kids. It's easy two get to, which also means that it's popular. So, it can get crowded on occasion. All the same, the advantages are enough that we go there probably more than any other beach in the area. I'd definitely recommend it.

It's hard to give 5 stars to this place, but I gave it 5 because it's a shame that not many people know it or stop by. There is a restroom. From a beach bather's point of view, there's a strange mudflat smell (there are a lot of birds right next to the bridge? There's water), and the white sand beach is just a beach... there's a lot of seaweed that hasn't been cleaned up. Can be annoying. However, the beach is wide and has a sandy ledge, so it would be good for families with children to swim. In fact, there is less fishing gear waste than other beaches. Hallasan, also known as Mt. Halla, is a shield volcano and the highest peak in South Korea. Hiking to its 1,950-meter summit offers breathtaking views of Baekrokdam, a lake-filled crater, and the surrounding volcanic cones within Hallasan National Park. The hiking trails are relatively easy, with courses less than 10 km in length.
Highest mountain in South Korea. Was full of snow and ice in most parts of the hike, even when visiting in March. Would encourage to look at the weather and be prepared with equipment as crampons are required in these situations. Good hike with nice views at the top, but a lot of tourists and locals there too waiting in line to take a picture with the sign.

My wife and I have very good memories on this mountain. We saw many cute animals, including deer and birds. They all live freely here. Climbing the mountain is very hard, but the scenery after climbing the mountain is very beautiful and worth it. Many foreigners come here to climb the mountain. This is a must-visit place when traveling to Korea. Highly recommended.

One of the most popular national parks in all South Korea, and also the country's highest peak! There are two paths to get to the summit (Seongpanak and Gwaneumsa), and you need to make a reservation to be able to go up the mountain through any them. The path is all well marked, I would say it is not possible to get lost. It's a hard way up, and you will probably get wet but the experience it's worth the effort.
Javier M — Google review
Mount Hallasan standing at 1950 metres above sea level is the highest mountain in South Korea. At the peak (Dongneung Peak), is a big crater. The view up here is very beautiful indeed and it makes the 5-hour hike up worth it. Another 5 hours to descend. When we were there, there was a long queue of hikers waiting for their turn to take photos with the summit marker. However, it was orderly and everyone got to take their photos. The photos were later submitted online to the park authorities for us to print out our certificates. It was a very happy and memorable day for us.
CS C — Google review
Decent hike, but not the most scenic (spoiled by the Rocky Mountains). Did the hike up via the Seongpanak Trail since the other trail is closed for construction. This does mean that the number of permits available goes pretty quick. You can reserve (free) a month in advance. We had forgot to reserve, but managed to snag a reservation at 3am the morning of due to a cancellation. There's also time limits in place to ensure that people finish the hike before sunset so this means that if you don't get past the top shelter by 11:30am, you won't be permitted to go to the peak. You'll also need some ID with your reservation QR code for entrance at the start. Paid parking (1000 won) is very limited (70 some cars) and was filled when we got there at 06:15. Ended up parking at the Jeju-do Livestock Life Research Institute Jeju Horse Pastureland parking lot and taking the bus back (bus was packed full and some people had to wait for the next bus).

We were a group of 4 friends from Nepal, currently working in Korea. During our holidays, we decided to explore Jeju Island, and climbing Hallasan was one of the best parts of our trip. The hike was a bit challenging, especially near the summit, but totally worth it. The views from the top were amazing — you can see clouds all around and feel like you’re really above everything. It was peaceful and beautiful. If you’re in Jeju and like nature or hiking, I definitely recommend trying the Hallasan summit. Just make sure to start early and carry enough water and snacks. Great experience overall!
Sagar's V — Google review
The trail is easy, the scenery is nice, the only disadvantage is that you can't watch the sunset or sunrise because the curfew is strict. And you need to reserve the ticket to enter and they have limited number per day, so please do remember that. I've been hiking a lot, even more crowded mountains but this mountain is a special case.
Nguyễn V — Google review
A must when you made it to Jeju already and the vibe is there but tbh it is not as spectacular as Alps or other mountains over 2k m. No surprise, it is just one peak. Went there with my son and you can do it way faster than most of the guids say. But be careful, despite marking on the maps there is NO drinking WATER available on the entire trail from Gwaneumsa to Seongpanak.

Seongsan Ilchulbong, also known as "castle hill," is a unique volcanic tuff cone located in the east of Jeju Island. Formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions 5 thousand years ago, this crater-style peak resembles an ancient castle and offers stunning views from its summit. Designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, it has become famous for providing breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to countless travelers.
One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Unfortunately, the sky wasn’t clear on the day I went, so I couldn’t see the sunrise but it was still an incredible experience. We started the hike early in the morning, hoping to catch the sunrise. I believe that’s the best time to do the hike, though I’m sure it would be a memorable experience at any time of day. We came down after sunrise, and as the sun rose, the entire hill lit up beautifully. Watching the clouds drift past the hilltops was another breathtaking moment.

This was an amazing hike for my daughter and I. Not for the weak. Lots of steps. I mean LOTS. It takes about 25 minutes or more to reach the top. Great views. And maybe 20 minutes to hike down. Suggestions are carrying a hand fan and having a change of clothing with you to change into. You will sweat. And the humidity can be really thick and heavy.

Such a beautiful place! Here you can see Haenyeo (free diving fisher women) at 2pm for free (when you go up the entrance, take the way on the left (on the right you will have to pay for the park). We were not lucky as the sea was rough so they cancelled the show the day we went

There’s an entry ticket 🎫 to climb the summit. It’s bit tiring but there are multiple rest points, washrooms on the way. The weather was extremely hot so it became bit difficult 😞 to climb but once you reach the top, tge view is totally 💯 worth it! This peak is actually called the centre of Jeju which divides it in 2 parts. Definitely recommended but do carry sunglasses 🕶️ and pther heat protectant 👍🏻

We checked in the Coop City Hotel the night before and climbed the Seongsan Ilchulbong the following morning after having a leisurely breakfast buffet. We are not early risers and did not try to catch the sunrise which was probably blocked by the October early morning clouds. The ticket to go up was KRW5000 pp. You have the option to go down towards the beach for free. It is a long climb with lots of stairs, but it is worth it. Every once in a while, we would take a break to admire and take photos of the view. The view only gets better as you go higher. And we had perfect late morning weather, sunny with a cool breeze. It was very rewarding to reach the summit and admire the views of the town, ocean and crater. The summit has lots of wood steps for sitting and relaxing. October is not too crowded. You go down using a different set of stairs. The view is as good going down as it was going up. I usually find going down tougher on my knees, but this descent was pretty easy and fast. I think the pitch of the steps matched my stride length. Once we got to the bottom, we headed down to the beach to admire the waves and view of the Ilchulbong from sea level. The water was too rough for divers, but there were ladies selling raw shellfish which we passed on. I would definitely recommend Seongsan Ilchulbong if you are physically capable of handling the climb. It was one of the highlights of our 4-night Jeju trip. Note: there is a defibrillator and a toilet partway up the climb. Also, if you are pregnant, you will have priority car parking spaces marked in pink paint, closest to the ticket office. LOL.

Definitely a go-to place in Jeju. It’s one of the few places that still holds on to the real character of Jeju. The volcanic cliffs and stone walls are stunning, and I can get up close to the black soil where grass grows. Just like twenty years ago, there are three horses grazing away (do they always keep it at three?). I actually enjoyed the little trails through the grass more than the main walkway.

Soesokkak, a famous tourist attraction in Jeju, is a scenic estuary known for its volcanic rock cliffs and popular activities like kayaking and traditional-raft rides. The area's name comes from the shape of a lying down cow, formed by the meeting of freshwater from Hyodoncheon Stream and saltwater. This hidden gem along Seogwipo spans seventy miles and offers breathtaking views reminiscent of landscapes in Oman and Japan.
Quiet place in the evening...butbhas 2 good cafes nearby, a noodle place and restaurants. Walking distance to the beach and the estuary. Very good boat ride.
Wei N — Google review
Kitty and I were on a cycling adventure around Jeju Island, and Soesokkak was one of our must-see stops. It was along the route for our "bike passport" which is a fun way to collect stamps at different spots around the island. We were excited to see that near the passport booth, there was a whole area dedicated to activities like kayaking and traditional boat rides. We decided to spend some time there, relaxing a_nd enjoying these activities. Soesokkak is a beautiful natural estuary located in Seogwipo, Jeju Island, South Korea. It's a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty and unique geological formations.  The volcanic landscape is simply stunning, with dramatic rock formations, lush vegetation, and a peaceful stream flowing into the ocean. We were particularly captivated by the traditional Jeju boat rides, called "Teu." It was a unique and relaxing experience to glide across the estuary on a traditional boat.  The boatman was incredibly friendly and gave us a fascinating introduction to the area, adding to the enjoyment of the experience.  He even threw mandarin oranges to those standing on the cliff, which offered a fantastic view.  We also enjoyed the calm and serene atmosphere, which was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. We had to hunt around a bit to find the ticketing booth, and it was a little tricky communicating with the staff as they didn't understand English very well. We even asked if we could store our bikes while we were out on the water, but they weren't familiar with our tri-fold bikes and declined. Luckily, we met some friendly Koreans who had lived in Canada, and they helped us communicate with the staff. The activities cost 20,000 won for us for a 20-minute ride on the Teu. After buying our tickets, we cycled for about 1 minutes to the designated starting point and waited for our time slot. While waiting, we browsed a nearby shop selling souvenirs and mandarin oranges, a great way to support local vendors and pick up a little something to remember our trip. The Teu Ride itself was truly relaxing, and the views were astonishing. Even though it was a bit chilly, with the temperature around 13 degrees, everything felt so nice. The scenery was just breathtaking, and the activity itself was a great way to unwind. They also have informative signage with details about the area and activities, including clear instructions for kayakers in Korean, English, and Chinese. Soesokkak offers a variety of activities, such as kayaking and water biking, which would be a great way to explore the estuary further. The surrounding tangerine orchards added to the beauty of the area, and we loved the fresh scent of citrus in the air. We highly recommend Soesokkak to anyone visiting Jeju Island. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of the island and enjoy a relaxing and memorable experience. You can ride a kayak. You can ride alone or together.(1~2people) its 10,000won per person. You can enjoy it for about 20 minutes. There are parking lots, too. I reccomand you to make a reservation.

Soesokkak estuary is a gorgeous natural spot known for its vibrant blue and turquoise waters that sparkle beautifully in the sunlight. It’s an ideal place for canoeing and kayaking, offering calm, clear waters surrounded by stunning scenery. The walking trails nearby provide a peaceful and scenic route, perfect for enjoying a relaxing stroll. Visitors will appreciate the ample free parking and clean restroom facilities, making it convenient for families and groups. Whether looking for outdoor adventure or a quiet nature walk, Soesokkak is highly recommended as a must-visit destination on Jeju Island. There's also convenience stores nearby that sell orange juice and ice cream!

20mins kayaking experience in the estuary. Pretty serene and the slight mist right over the water surface adds to the atmosphere of the place! 10/10 recommend to rent a kayak to go around the place.

We didn’t take the boat or kayak experience. Was on the way to lunch so brought kids to stop by the black beach… nice windy weather and cool space for kids to run around or play with rocks/pebbles

My first time kayaking haha. You can ride alone or in pair. It costs 10,000 won/person for 20 minutes. Even if you don't want to do kayaking but still want to enjoy the place, you can ride the boat

Cafe Delmoondo is a charming coffee spot situated on Hamdeok Beach, offering a stunning sea view that attracts many visitors. The cafe features a spacious layout with an outdoor terrace facing the ocean, providing a serene setting to enjoy coffee and treats. Whether it's early morning or late at night, the ambiance is inviting and peaceful. Additionally, the cafe's unique architecture blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings, creating an unforgettable experience for guests.
Came across this beautiful cafe on our drive. It was a very cold and windy day but so warm inside. The staff were very friendly, welcoming us from Australia. The pastries were delicious, coffees were amazing, my partner loved the Peanut Butter Latte! Inside upstairs has a lovely space to see the view from any table and enjoy some relaxing time.

We cycled past this cafe without stopping during our RTI a few days ago and now we're finally back by car. Finally get to try this nice cafe. It was good.

The coffee was good, but if it's crowded, you have to arm yourself with patience, as it might take a while to be ready. The pastries were nice, especially the croissant. The view it's spectacular 🌊💙

This was my first cafe after picking up the car in Jeju, and it was thoroughly enjoyable! The scenic views of the nearby plateaus, seas, beaches, and the people's lifestyles, coupled with the gentle sea breeze, and the delicious pastries - ahh, heavenly. There's a small island nearby for great photos.

Awesome café directly on the beach. They had great food at the baker and fairly priced drinks at the bar. The location truly sets the vibe during warm summer nights. This is a must see if you are planning a trip to Jeju Island. It is within walking distance of many hotels and other eateries and stores.

The peanut latte and cappuccino? Absolutely delightful 🤩 The view is lovely, though I wouldn’t exactly call it jaw-dropping 🤣 Prepare your wallet, this place has mastered the art of being extravagantly pricey 🤣 And if you thrive in the chaos of bustling, tourist-packed spots, well, this is your paradise! 🤪

Cafe with fantastic views. Bread and pastries better than drinks. Probably overrated because it’s a popular local and foreign tourist spot.

Jeju Olle Trail - Route 07, also known as the Jeju Olle Tourist Center to Wolpyeong route, is a popular choice among the 26 routes of the trail. This scenic coastal path offers breathtaking views of the southern sea of Jeju Island and welcomes hikers with a cool sea breeze. The trail includes rocky coastal sections but is generally manageable, and there are several charming cafes along the way for breaks.
It was supposed to be a rainy day, nevertheless we took the chance to hike on this trail. It was an amazing experience. The walking path is well maintained and very comfortable to walk. We walked from around Damat until Coffee66, where we had a refreshment. The views are splendid and it is a highly recommended trip.

Worth walking. It is mainly via the coast of the south of Jeju. You do have to walk through some parts which are basically the rocky parts of the coast and can be rough walking , but not so hard it would be impassable.THere are also many cafes you will pass by along the way which is very nice to take breaks in

Resort hotel
Sono Belle Jeju is a part of a well-established hotel chain in Korea, offering spacious family-style rooms with multiple bedrooms. The hotel boasts a prime location just 200 meters from the beach, providing easy access to the surf and sand. While some guests may find the sea view slightly distant, the sparkling night lights create an enchanting ambiance. Additionally, the proximity to Hamdeok Beach and its exotic palm tree-lined surroundings adds to the allure of this accommodation.
Jeju Island is a stunning destination in South Korea, known for its breathtaking nature and must-try local cuisine. If America has Hawaii, Korea has Jeju Island! This resort was fantastic, offering beautiful ocean views and plenty of great photo spots. The room had a kitchen, a balcony, and spacious accommodations. The property also featured a spa, restaurants, a fitness center, and free parking. I loved how conveniently located it was—close to popular restaurants, cafés, and attractions. We even walked to Café Del Moondo, just a 7-minute stroll away. As a Korean American visiting Korea, I highly recommend staying at this resort!
Diana B — Google review
Very unprofessional staff. The rooms are ok. The resort lack luxury components but prices are relatively high. Location- excellent. Big property. Lot of food options nearby. Given that no additional facility/activity at resort one may choose see facing hotels. Language is biggest issue. None of staff understands or tries to understand in English. For most of queries, answer is 'no'.
Dr. S — Google review
Having traveled to various accommodations worldwide and in Korea, I found the staff at Sono Belle Jeju Resort to be exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Even the housekeeping staff greet guests warmly, creating a pleasant and hospitable atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is another highlight of the stay. It operates in two sessions, and early reservations offer a discount, which is a great perk. This morning, the buffet was very popular and bustling with guests, reflecting its great quality and variety. The selection was impressive, with a mix of Korean and international dishes, ensuring that everyone could find something to enjoy. The fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes made for a satisfying start to the day. One of the main reasons I chose this resort for our family trip was the extended 30-hour stay option. On weekdays, guests can check in at 9 AM and check out at 3 PM the next day, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable stay. However, if you are assigned to Tower C, be aware that dining and activity areas are located in Towers A and B, requiring you to walk outside to access them. Since Jeju Island is known for its strong winds, this may be inconvenient for guests with mobility challenges. It would be even better if the resort avoided assigning Tower C rooms to such guests, making it an even more accessible and top-tier resort. Overall, Sono Belle Jeju offers great service, a unique extended stay option, and a welcoming atmosphere. With its delicious and well-organized breakfast buffet, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations, it’s an excellent choice for families and travelers looking for a memorable stay in Jeju.

Worst hotel experience compared to about 6 different hotels in Jeju. Their room service is limited to bringing new towels (excludes removing old used towels, adding new garbage bags, making beds... everything you'd typically expect for the price of your stay) Shower towel sizes are that of a hand towel, not because they do not have any, there is an extra charge to have large towels sent to your room. A frustrating experience for my family and based on other past comments, these issues have been going on for multiple years already 4+ years before my comment.
SeungMin L — Google review
Having family memory trip with my mom and her sister. So reserved at condo with 2 rooms studio for 5 persons. But there are only double bed, with 3 futon set, saying one more extra futon set is charge 25,000won. If I remember correct the price per one night is 250,000 won or something then I still only have double bed , so i Have to share 3 futon sets for 4 persons, and Doble bed for 1 person. I am here a bit confused the value of rooms and services. ;(

Watching windmills turning in the wind is calming. The sea was beautifully coloured and wind felt like it was blowing stress and cares away. If I could stay here for longer, it would have been lovely. Birds were airing themselves by raising their wings to catch the wind. Such a funny sight.

Great location on the beach and nice hotel room. Housekeeping very friendly. They give you Americano coffee voucher for each night you stay but refuse to give even a dash of milk in the coffee. A little awkward that they’re stingy about milk!
Oliver H — Google review
We had the panoramic room on the 7th floor with amazing views! The location at Hamdeok beach is great. The beds were comfy, and the futon area had heated floors and the futon was extra thick. It had all the amenities. The location of the light switches was inconvenient (behind the bathroom sliding door -had to be shut to turn on/off loghts) and the hallways were a big run down. The buffet had a lot of variety, but was just ok. We did not get any voucherd for Americanos like the other reviewers. Right across the street, at low tide, you can wade into the clear water. We loved staying here.
Minna Y — Google review
Nice hotel. Rooms are spacious. Housekeeping very friendly and helpful. Some parts were a bit dated. However it was quite ridiculous that they strictly refused to give even a dash of milk for the Americanos that were included as part of our room package on Agoda. Not everyone likes black coffee.
Mustafa T — Google review
Since I didn't select the room myself, I ended up in a room near the elevator. Consequently, there was some noise in the late evening as people returned from the bar on the first floor. Additionally, the veranda door doubled as a window for the room, making it chilly to sleep in winter as cold air could seep in, and the floor remained quite cold. Personally, I prefer accommodations with separate windows, but I must acknowledge the delightful breakfast and amicable hotel staff. Given the choice, I would opt for a room in a different location with the bed positioned away from the door. Therefore, when traveling in winter, consider the windy weather, bring warm clothing, and savor your time in Jeju!
Aleksandra B — Google review
The staff who checked us in was very efficient and spoke English well. The bed was very comfy. Location is great, right on the beach side and close to restaurants. Parking is also free and easy. The only thing we didn't get was that they only gave one free breakfast per room, although we booked for 2 persons in each room, but all in all it's a nice place to stay.
Tabtim ( — Google review
The hotel is clean, location near by the sea, we can play and enjoy the beautiful view, we can clean dan shower to get rid the sand sea in front of the hotel. But communication in english is quite hard.
Inny C — Google review
Like many ocean front locations- they are great due to the location- which helps overlook the lack of amenities or a restaurant that is not very diverse in selection. The bed was not comfortable at all- which would of really made our Jeju visit much more delightful. That being said- the beach access is absolutely incredible and very hard to find anything better. A convenience store is in the same building- American style restaurants are a minute or two walk and- coffee shops, as well as Starbucks is just down the street. Highly recommend.

Additionally, the hotel's prime beachfront location allows for easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. This hotel was AMAZING for a weekend getaway. The location is right on the beach, far enough away from the busy bars to be quiet, but close enough to walk to them if that is your thing. The room was small to be honest, but was clean. I wasn't in Jeju to stay in the hotel though. The restaurant had a breakfast buffet that was pretty good and an excellent value.

We overall had a good experience. The check-in and checkout was very smooth and we received good service when needed. Their parking is a 3 minute walk to the hotel, so be mindful if walking is an issue. They also don't provide laundry services so we had to walk a few minutes to a very good, but pricey (~ $10), laundry service. The rooms were clean and met our basic needs. They although went in our room when we put a do not disturb sign. Nothing was stolen but we wouldn't have expected them to go in.
Claudio L — Google review
Had a bit of a strange experience here. There are 2 different hotels within the same building. Room next to mine was totally a different hotel. Front desk is non existent you can say. It’s self check in, got there early and no one was at the front desk. Early check in is absolutely not possible, so don’t bother. Room layout is a bit weird but functional. I had a side view sea room so the view was nice but the balcony was dirty, chairs didnt have cushions and no table. Had a do not disturb sign but the housekeeping entered anyways Hotel doesn’t provide any tea or coffee, which was weird.
Nisha P — Google review
Pros: The views from an ocean view room is fantastic and you are right across the street from the ocean. Location is superb Cons: the hotel is quite dated and needs a remodel. The toilet doesn't have a bidet and is far removed from where the shower and tub is. The mirror placements are odd as well. Here's the worst part, the beds are horrible!!! Again, the bed is horrible. Specifically the mattress. They are super bouncy. we could feel the springs under our backs, and worst of all, they had a slope. We went to the front desk and all they could provide was a makeshift mattress. Woke up with the worst back pains. If you want location and views, stay here. If you want a good night's sleep with views, go down the street to one of the other hotels.
Steve J — Google review
Poor service front desk officer, never great customer never say thank you. He always not on his desk when we want to look for him (for check out enquiries and etc) book a seaview room but was assigned a room next to the cafe. This hotel is at a great location! Right on the beach and on a strip of good restaurants. Room was a little dirty and there was no hot water so that was the only negatives. But it was so hot, it didn’t matter much to not have hot water and we would definitely recommend! The staff was very pleasant and there was free beer every night. Island
Biyangdo is the youngest volcanic island in Jeju, formed after a volcanic eruption. It is a tiny offshore island with multiple peaks, craters, and unusually shaped rocks. The island features natural formations like Biyangbong Peak with six mysterious peaks and two craters. It also has a rock formation resembling a mom carrying her baby on her back. Biyangdo is connected to Udo and was once a base for the haenyeo, legendary free-diving sea women.
First off, the ferry to this incredible tiny little island is right by the police marine station at the hallimhang harbor (in Naver, it’s called “Hallimhang Waiting Room”) Tickets are $9 per person/round trip and the ferry leaves at 9 am - 12 pm - 2 pm - 4 pm. The island was super cute and can be walked around within 1 hour. The lighthouse can be hiked to within a steep but very well maintained trail within 15 min. You can rent a bike or scooter or just walk the entire island. It was very endearing, laid back and beautiful. Great views from the lighthouse and actually literally any point on any trail on this island. It’s still a hidden gem. I went on a Saturday and sunny day, and the ferry had hardly any people on it! Totally worth going to! ❤️

A small island of Jeju island. If you visit to Jeju, i recommend to go to Udo and Biyangdo. It takes around 2 hours to look around this place. We call Biyangdo as the island of a thousand year, which was created a thousand years ago due to a vocanic thing. You can climb a small vocanic corn called as Oreum and enjoy natures(black stones, sea, tree and blue sky) that are representive for Jeju island.

East Taste Guest House is a budget-friendly accommodation located near Dongmun market, offering easy access to downtown, attractions, and the airport. The rooms are clean and tidy, with some guests finding them small but nice and in good condition. The guest house provides a simple breakfast and offers free laundry facilities with a small fee for the dryer. The staff is friendly and able to speak English, providing helpful advice despite their basic level of proficiency.
Had 4 nice days at Yellow Guesthouse. Room was clean and the bathroom too. Included breakfast is basic like i experienced everywhere in Korea but for my needs it was ok and always enough. The staff was nice and gave me good advices even if their english was more at a basic level. Free laundry and jast a little cost for the dryer is a nice feature too. The location is excelent and easy accessible with the local busses. Would stay here again. Value for money is excellent.

Pro: Great location, bus stop is less than a min walk away. Clean rooms, newly renovated kitchen. Bathroom is large and clean as well. Number locks on dorm doors. Privacy curtains. Free breakfast - bread, soup, and juice. Free tea and coffee. Free washer, drying costs 3000 won. The host who works night shift was especially nice on helping us with some recommendations on the island. Thank you! Con: You cannot be anywhere in the guesthouse during cleaning hours which is from 11am - 3pm. So you can't sleep in in your bed, shower, do work on your laptop or try to make any food in the shared kitchen during those hours. They let us do some of it since we really needed to be there to eat and do work but you can tell they weren't happy about it. Extremely slow WiFi in the common room. The guestrooms' WiFi is okay but we don't spend a lot of time in there. In many rooms there were always a bed directly under the AC. So if it's on it blows on the person, if it's off it gets very hot in the Summers. Also lots of mosquitos since they open the windows to ventilate during the day. No one really talks or hangs around the common area, no social opportunities with guests. Overall: most likely won't stay there again since we felt very uncomfortable.

Seven families lived here until the 1970s, but it's now uninhabited. It takes an hour and a half to walk around the island. The unique geography, with rocks embedded in the strata, is also visible. According to a legend told on the cruise, during the Song Dynasty in China, General Wang came to Jeju after hearing a proverb that "a king will emerge from the east." He committed a series of misdeeds, blocking the general's return journey. The island was named Chagwido, meaning "to block" or "to return." There is so much trash from people. Of course it can be solved if people have discipline and not throw trash on the beach. However, it cannot be helped since some people does not care. So trash cans and regular clean up would help a lot.

We visited at the end of October and the water was still mild and swimmable. White sand beach with lots of natural pools to wade and swim in. Dog friendly beach as well. Walk out on the natural jetty to take in the salt air and views. Wonderful views of the coast and wind farms near by. Water was crystal clear. Great beachside walk as well, stop in at the 7-11 at the parking lot and make a picnic on the beach. Only down side was that there was an incredible amount of industrial plastic waste and fishing gear in the water and on the beach. Hopefully the government of Jeju can find some volunteers or agency to help clean up the popular beach area.

Second best beach on the island (after Hamdeok), the water color is amazing and the sand is unbelievably white. Amazing photos spot. It gets crowded in summer like all the beaches on the island, but the water and beach is clean and you can also do water sports. Good snorkeling spot

Beautiful local beach, not too crowded. The coastline is very shallow so you can walk very far out, colours of the sea juxtaposed with the basalt rocks are gorgeous. When we went there was also cute sand art of haenyeo - what a great way to pay homage to Jeju’s industrious woman divers!

Beach
Hongjodangoe, also known as Seobinbaeksa Beach, is a picturesque escape located in the Seongsan district of Jeju Island, South Korea. The beach offers stunning ocean views with waters ranging from bright emerald to deep sapphire. The soft sandy shores and crystalline waters create a serene environment perfect for relaxation. Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and beach volleyball while surrounded by lush greenery and rocky formations.
Going clockwise from the Udo Island ferry terminal, you’ll soon reach this picturesque beach with impossibly clear waters. Too cold to swim now but good for a stroll and photo taking. Can only imagine how popular it will be in summer.

I am usually not a beach person, however from the moment I set foot on the shore of Hongjodangoe Haebin Beach on Udo, Jeju, I was captivated! The sand was incredibly white, made of crushed coral, and sparkled beautifully against the turquoise sea. Walking on it felt like stepping on powdered jewels, unlike any other beach I've ever been to. What elevates Hongjodangoe Haebin Beach to a truly celestial level is the surrounding landscape. The dramatic volcanic cliffs that frame the beach provide a stunning backdrop. Beyond the visual splendor, there's a palpable sense of peace and serenity that permeates the air. It's a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to fully absorb the beauty and tranquility. Whether you choose to simply relax on the shore (something I surprisingly found myself doing) take a refreshing dip, or explore the fascinating rock formations, Hongjodangoe Haebin Beach offers an unparalleled escape from the everyday. In summary, my experience at Hongjodangoe Haebin Beach was nothing short of divine. As someone who typically avoids beaches, I can wholeheartedly say that I fell in love with this beautiful place. It's a place of breathtaking beauty, profound tranquility, and an undeniable connection to the raw power and artistry of nature. If you ever find yourself on Udo, Jeju, a visit to this extraordinary beach is not just recommended – it's an absolute necessity for the soul. Five out of five stars – a true gem of the Korean peninsula that even converted me, a non-beach-lover!

If you come here, make sure to bring swimming/snorkelling goggles! There are plenty of little fish all around. Coming here on a sunny day makes a difference as the water becomes clearer and prettier.

Offers a picturesque escape on Jeju Island, South Korea. The crystalline waters and soft sandy shores create a serene environment perfect for relaxation. The surrounding lush greenery and rocky formations add to the natural beauty. Activities like swimming, snorkeling, and beach volleyball cater to various interests. Local vendors provide delectable seafood and refreshments. Although slightly crowded during peak seasons, the charm of the place remains intact. Travelers seeking a tranquil coastal experience will appreciate Udo Sanho Beach's inviting atmosphere and stunning vistas, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and beach lovers alike.

A beach on the west of Udo with white sand. The color of the sea varies according to the depth of the water.

This beach is really really beautiful and when you visit Udo island, you should visit this beach. The sand is like a popcorn and it doesn't stick on your feet for a long time. It's easy to remove it. anyway, the water is super clear and beautiful!

Short seashore which is made of coral sands whereas other Jeju seashore isblack sand. Beautiful and unique scenery.

Fun to take a ferry to go over to Udo Island. Peaceful, tranquil island. Easy to move around. Climbed up to visit the lighthouse but unfortunately there was a barbed fence. The climb is of moderate degree.

Beach
Hagosudong Beach, also known as Saipan Beach, is a stunning destination on Udo Island in Korea. With its soft flour-like sand and shallow waters, it's perfect for families seeking a peaceful getaway. The beach offers spectacular cliffs and rock formations, along with facilities such as parasols, shower rooms, and a local supermarket. Visitors can enjoy collecting shells along the shoreline and witnessing anchovy boats floating offshore at night, creating a mesmerizing display of colorful lights.
Clear and beautiful blue! Also named “Saipan Beach.” Perfect getaway spot for families, with sand like flour and shallow waters. There are many shells to collect on the shoreline. On summer nights, there are many anchovy boats floating offshore, giving off lights of many colors, as if a display of fireworks. a very small beach.

Probably Udo's most beautiful beach. I'll never forget this place. Restaurants, convenience stores, toilet and bus stop next to the beach.
Árpád S — Google review
This is the best beach on the island. It was not crowded and has lots of places to eat nearby. The water is a little cold but nice for cooling off from the hot sun. The roped off area was pretty big and allowed for deep water swimming.
Natali — Google review
Beautiful beach not just for summer. Try some DIY firework from the street vendors or from Daiso or nearby shops. Sealife aquarium is within walking distance.

Seashore located on 2o'clock direction of Udo island. Next to Jeju island. White sand and jade color of water scenery are so beautiful. If it is sunner. It shall becrowded.
WJ L — Google review
Udo is spectacular.. rent a electrical bike and ride around all day. Don't rush through it just relax and go around to each destination. Some landmarks are only visible during low tides but overall it is still worth checking out.
Jason W — Google review
Nice beach to chill out. There are Haenyeo Woman statues in the area, lots of sun beds and tables and chairs under umbrellas. The waves are also very small which makes it perfect for dipping in the pool or swimming.
ANSEL C — Google review
Nice water and a bit windy when we visited. There are lots of food establishments also nearby...
