Brzezno Beach is a must-visit spot in Gdansk, offering sandy shores and a wide range of water sports and activities. It's conveniently located near cafes, restaurants, and parks like Ronald Reagan Park and Jelitkowo Park. The beach is easily accessible from the city center, with nearby amenities such as shops selling souvenirs and ice cream.
Beautiful beach with clean sand and a lovely view. I visited when the weather was cold, but it was still amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing, perfect for a walk or just sitting and enjoying the scenery. There are also nice spots nearby for food and drinks. Definitely worth visiting!

Brzeźno Beach in Gdańsk, Poland, is a clean, well-maintained beach with fine golden sand and calm waters, perfect for swimming and relaxing. It offers various amenities, including cafes, restrooms, and playgrounds. The nearby promenade is ideal for walks, and the atmosphere is vibrant yet laid-back. It's easily accessible from the city center and close to other attractions, making it a great spot for a day out by the Baltic Sea. ✨✨
Puja K — Google review
Nice sandy beach, but during summer weekends its overcrowded. A lot of fast food restaurants are close to the beach. If you have lucky, you can park your car for free on a way to the beach.
Radek D — Google review
I agree with all good reviews here. Easily accessible, clean, nice small restaurants, bike path etc. But I think it misses very important facilities like changing rooms, showers and clean public restrooms.
Bakir Y — Google review
Not much there really. A few bars and cheap and nasty arcade machines.
Jay O — Google review
Quite clean beach but could be better maintained. Some trash were found around.
Agathe K — Google review
Such a lovely beach, I stayed at a place only 10 mins walk from here a couple weeks ago, so made sure I went and had a walk on the beach at least once a day. Really peaceful in October (I've seen some photos on here from the summer months though!) Great for a walk, love the sound of the sea and it looks great at night when the pier is lit up. I noticed locals were picking stuff up all along the shore on my first night, so after a few minutes I started looking down (too many for it to just be people looking for pretty shells) then I noticed a little bit of orange, then another bit. Baltic amber washes up on the shore, especially at rougher times of the year, so it was really chill just taking a stroll in the evening, picking up some tiny bits here and there. Now I have a keepsake that I found myself rather than bought.

I visited this beach last month in February although it’s winter and extreme cold temperatures however people still visit there. Which made me amazed. I highly recommended to visit this beach it’s beautiful and clean. Mesmerising views of Baltic Sea .

Peaceful and scenic beach, perfect for a relaxing walk or a picnic. I loved watching the sailboats drifting under the moody sky — such a calming and beautiful view. Great spot for families and quiet moments by the sea!
Mahtab S — Google review
Perfect before the high season. Water is cold even in July, but it’s refreshing to walk in it towards the sunset. Sand could have be cleaned better.

It is a clean, wide beach, shady with trees, you can ride a bicycle and run long distances on the beach. There is volleyball to play and what I like is that in the evening there is a dance area every day. It is fun and good exercise. I am Thailand and at the dance area I made good friends.

It's a popular destination for Gdansk residents seeking a less crowded beach experience with magnificent views of the Baltic Sea. Visitors can enjoy the warm waters and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation.
I returned to this place after 6 years when I was here with my parents. Amazing little town at the suburbs of Gdansk a lot of the Gdansk residents travelled to this area as it is less populated and the beach is magnificent. The Baltic sea never felt warmer to the point where you can stay in the sea for as long as you would like.

Situated near the iconic Sopot Pier, visitors can enjoy stunning vistas of the Baltic Sea and easy access to local attractions.
The most famous and longest wooden Pier in Europe! The pier in Sopot offers the opportunity to a beautiful fairly long walk in the North Sea. Located in North Poland, in a beautiful small city, Sopot. I enjoyed a long walk there and luckily weather was just beautiful, August 2025. By: Rafi
Rafik S — Google review
The Sopot Pier is a very nice place to visit and take a walk, especially with family. The views of the sea are beautiful, and the atmosphere is great for a relaxing stroll. Depending on the day and time, it can get quite busy, but even then it’s still worth visiting. A lovely spot to enjoy the seaside!
Adam Z — Google review
Nice sightseeing spot, especially considering it’s the longest wooden pier in Europe. Till 20.00 entrance costs a few EUR, afterwards - free of charge. You can observe a colony of swallows nesting under the pier floor. There are plenty of benches for sitting and sunbathing. However, I recommend to wear sunglasses, as the sunlight reflecting off the sea surface can make exploring the area uncomfortable on a sunny day.
Ivan K — Google review
It's a beautiful and pieceful walking place that turns into a magic during late hours. I used used Premium Yachting offer to go on 110min cruise. The captain Marta is so welcoming, and the experience - calming.
Baiba V — Google review
Beautiful long pier. Although there isn’t any entertainment on the pier, it is really nice for a relaxed walk and a sit down on the benches. Can get quite windy so wrap up warm and admire the views :)

A true gem! Pier In Spot offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere – the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The pier is well maintained and safe, and the view from it is simply breathtaking – the sunsets here are something else. An ideal spot for unwinding or even photography. Highly recommended!
Juha L — Google review
Amazing pier, especially quiet at night. We were out of the season, but still nice place to calm down and have a quick walk

Plaża Sopot is a stunning beach nestled in the charming resort town of Sopot, making it a favorite spot for both locals and visitors alike. With its soft sands stretching along the coastline, this beach offers a delightful escape during the summer months when it can get quite lively. While swimming is enjoyable due to relatively warm waters, be mindful of certain areas that may have algae. Although there are no shower facilities available, you can find spots to change clothes.
The Baltic Sea in Sopot is both haunting and mesmerizing — its deep, dark waters draw you in with a quiet, mysterious beauty. There’s something truly captivating about its calm power and endless horizon. 🌊
Hira A — Google review
We came to explore the famous beach of Sobota. The beach was nice, yet in our opinion nothing special, maybe even a little disappointing. The sandy area of the beach is in most parts quite narrow (but kilometers long), the dunes were small, the sand was fine-grained, the water seemed clean, the beach was not littered. There were a lot of people, but there were few services, such as toilets, other than near the pier. There are few parking spaces, mostly on the side of the street. We think it is worth visiting the beach, but perhaps on a less populated part.
Heikki K — Google review
Great beach, I had a nice visit to Sopot and loved the beach! Perfect place to relax and go for a swim, would definitely visit again.
E D — Google review
Beautiful elegant sea resort, a lot of restaurants to choose from. Some right on the beach also rent umbrellas and lounge chairs. The pier is open to the public but you need to pay a ticket (10 NPL) to access it. Nice views from there.
Barbara B — Google review
It is nice for hiking. You can meet seals or one at least
Amarok S — Google review
Quite crowded beach during summers especially during holidays. We can bath during summers as it wouldn't be very cold, just that we may need to find appropriate place to bath as some areas are filled with lot of algae which smells badly. Unfortunately there wasn't any facility for taking shower, only we could change clothes. Waves are quite strong here.
Karthik — Google review

Nice sandy beachfront facing the baltic sea, cruises available there some are pirate ships. Numerous surfing boats spotted. Lots of big size seagulls making alot of noise. Great way to admire the baltic sea while enjoying a gelato. Occasional light drizzling rain, advisable to bring light jacket in September

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Gdańsk Główny is a captivating port city with a rich history and diverse architecture. The city's narrow cobbled streets are lined with stunning buildings, reflecting the influence of ship merchants from around the world. Despite the devastation of WWII, Gdańsk has been splendidly rebuilt, blending modernity with historical significance. Visitors can explore a myriad of attractions, including colorful houses and historical landmarks that create an enchanting atmosphere, especially during winter when snow adds to its charm.
I have not taken the train service but rather went there to see the outside and inside of the building which was quite impressive. There were some empty halls of which I did not understand and they were behind close doors but the architecture was beautiful.
Mustafa A — Google review
Gdańsk Główny is the city’s main railway station and a striking example of Neo-Renaissance architecture, originally built between 1894 and 1900. Following a major renovation completed in 2023, the station now combines historical charm with modern amenities. The station operates 24/7 and includes essential services such as ticket offices, luggage storage, restrooms, and a waiting area. Additional facilities include a currency exchange office, ATMs, and free Wi-Fi. For dining, there are fast-food options like McDonald’s and KFC, as well as nearby cafes and bakeries. Located at Podwale Grodzkie 1, 80-895 Gdańsk, the station is well-connected to public transportation, with tram and bus stops just outside. An underground passage links the station to the bus terminal and provides easy access to the Old Town, which is approximately a 10-minute walk away. Travelers should be aware that while the station is generally safe, it can become crowded during peak hours. It’s advisable to arrive early for your train and keep an eye on your belongings. The station’s recent modernization has improved accessibility, with elevators and escalators now available. Overall, Gdańsk Główny offers a blend of historical elegance and modern convenience, making it a pleasant starting point for exploring the city or continuing your journey through Poland.
R — Google review
Nice train station, staff members speak English well, which is a plus. A bonus... make sure you ask for a REGULAR train ticket as the ICCC is 4 times the price to Malbork compared to the REGULAR trains. ICCC only gets tou there 10 minutes faster. Between REG and ICCC, they have a route to Malbork for almost 30 minutes.
Buster I — Google review
Gdańsk Główny is a visually stunning train station with beautiful historic architecture and a strong sense of old-world charm. It’s a great first impression when arriving in the city or passing through—but unfortunately, the functionality didn’t quite match the aesthetics during our visit. The biggest issue was the lack of clear signage. All of the electronic screens were off, making it impossible to figure out which train to take to get to Gdynia. We had to go to a ticket booth to ask for help, and while the attendant did speak English, she spoke very quickly and with a thick accent, which made it hard to understand the instructions. Ultimately, we had to exit the station, go around the outside of the building, down a staircase, and through several hallways to find the correct platform. It wasn’t intuitive at all and would be especially difficult for first-time visitors or those not familiar with the Polish train system. With some improvements to signage, clearer directions in multiple languages, and working information screens, this station could offer a much smoother experience to match its beautiful design. That said, if you have time to spare and aren’t in a rush, it’s worth admiring the building’s impressive exterior and clock tower—it’s a piece of Gdańsk history.
Celine L — Google review
Good railway station and its architecture is cool, connected with local transport system. One could have the ticket online or get it on station itself as there is no communication issue. Clean platforms make it good for commuters.
Preeti — Google review
When we arrived at the ticket office there was a long line but the staff got the line moving fairly quickly. Make sure the available agent speaks English first of all (if you don’t speak Polish) so that you can join the front of the line until one becomes free (3 out of 4 did). Kate spoke great English and was incredibly helpful with us. A lot of trains were booked up and she was extremely patient and managed to find us a couple of seats out to Szczecin.
Matt G — Google review
Nice train station with good services. Place is well-organized. I just missed announcements in English despite I understand a bit Polish.
Miso D — Google review
The station building is currently being refurbished and so you cannot visit it. There is a temporary ticket office where you can also find toilets where the cost is 4zl. Access to the platforms is via an underpass which confusing the first time you visit. Underpass also connects to the tram stop. Station has escalators and good information about train timed. We used the station to visit Sopot and Malbork. 06/10/2025 - Visited station which has been reopened.

Lovely place. Realy clean . Highly recommend to come early for a good spot. Came at 9.00 during week time, despite few people wasn't too busy at that time. Highly recommend watching the shipping containers. 🚢

I guess it’s all about perspective . There is no way on earth if you have been to Australia , New Zealand , the United States or other parts of Europe that do have 5 star beaches that you can give this one a 5 star. So it all depends on what you have experienced over your life. It’s got a boring sea. Huge cranes to your left and even mosquitoes on the beach and all over close to the forest. I’d say it’s the best beach in this area and it has good transport and amenities close by and you can even Mevo ( electric bike ) there and back which is great. But don’t be fooled thinking you are going to some paradise beach. It’s a 2* at best. It does have nice sand so maybe a 2.5. Harsh but true .
Alex B — Google review
The beach was very good, only sand without stones. Trash cans on every corner. Long and nice beach.
YtokaD - — Google review
Not exactly idyllic, because of the port close by. I still enjoyed coming here. The beach is huge, nice soft sand and a good bus connection from and to Gdansk.
Sven P — Google review
Your experience will depend on which part of Stogi Beach you go to. If your preference is the middle part where most people go, you may be disappointed. But up the top end by Beach Entrance number 20 is lovely. The other end of the beach... well, if you like views of cranes to go with your beach time, then this is yours. It's actually very nice down there, but the cranes rather dominate your view. So choose carefully.
David W — Google review
Nice beach located bit distant from center though well connected by tram. Beach is mostly neat and clean, but crowded during summers though not up to the level we see in beaches of Gydnia, Sopot etc. We get to see bit of Gdansk shipyard in this beach. Beach has descent waves which is good. Tram#8 and 9 brings you here from center and stogi Plaza would be the last stop of these trams. Apart from beach there are play area for kids and each of them is charged for 15 mins on an average of 15zl. Quite lot of restaurants are there as well which mostly sell fish and chips, drinks etc.

Nowy Port Lighthouse, located in the Nowy Port District of Gdansk, is a historic landmark built in 1893. Wonderful place to visit, which gives you the overview of the port with different types of ships, the sea and Westerplatte.

A lot of WW2 history is here in this lighthouse. And you can get a great view from the top. And some cool artwork outside! And you can watch the ships coming in and going out. And... that's a lot of ANDs for one place. There is the tram stop "Latarnia Morska" In Brzeźno to get there.
David W — Google review
Beautiful, one of the most historical place in the world. The lighthouse where the firsts shots of the the second World War were fired. Well mantained. The time bowl still works: goes up then down every day at 12, 14, 16 and 18. If you're lucky enough to meet the "captain" jacek who usually sits in front of the lighthouse, let him tell you the history of the lighthouse, the history of his life, and other interesting things like the purpose of the time bowl and how it works. It's really worth it! A super sweet and beatiful person.

Plaża - Gdańsk Stogi is a must-visit beach in Gdansk, offering a sandy shoreline perfect for watching the sunrise over the gulf. It's known for its clean, fine white sand and various water sports and activities like swimming and beach volleyball. The area also features cafes, restaurants, food stalls, and vendors. While the entrance is conveniently located behind the tram stop, amenities such as toilets, showers, and water fountains are limited.
Stogi Beach holds a special place in my heart as it was the beloved beach of my childhood, located in the city where I was born. This beach, nestled on the Baltic coast, offers a blend of nostalgia and natural beauty that makes it unique. The fine, golden sands stretch for miles, and the cool waters of the Baltic Sea provide a refreshing escape on warm summer days. Surrounded by a lush pine forest, Stogi Beach offers a peaceful, almost untouched feel, far from the crowds of more touristy beaches. What truly stands out is the atmosphere—a mix of serene, family-friendly vibes with a hint of local life. There's something timeless about watching the waves crash against the shore, the gentle breeze carrying the scent of the sea, and the quiet moments of reflection that this beach always seems to offer. Though it might not be the most famous or glamorous, Stogi Beach is filled with memories and a deep connection to the city of my roots. It's the kind of place that stays with you, a perfect blend of tranquility and home.

The beach near is very clean and the sand looks and feel nice! I was surprised by the beautiful dark green colour the sea had this cold day of May ☺️ If you continue on the opposite side of the harbour, the beach looks wild. Which sounds like a good spot for the summer.

A super cool beach. Lots of beachfront and the sand is very nice.
Peter M — Google review
Very clean beach with fine white sand. The entrance to the beach is right behind the tram stop. There you find some food stalls and vendors. Toilets, a few showers and one water fountain are around the corner. For such a populated beach that is not a lot. A boardwalk leads on the beach, where you pass by the big lifeguard house and a tiny place to park your bike. The beach streches for kilometers to the east. The further you walk, the less crowded it gets. To west there lies the harbour. Where I went swimming, water was very shallow for 100m or so. It was only knee deep, ideal for kids, for swimming not so much. Anyhow I enjoyed my time on this beach, I found the people there friendly and decent.

Sobieszewo is an interesting place for natural beaches. The peninsula is too long for being browsed on foot, rather by bike or car. The choice of restaurants and activités is limited. Despite the Natura 2000 label acquired years ago, it feels the economic activity and touristic development have reached their full potential a while ago and there is no perspective of having this place becoming a major attraction of pomorskie.

Nice beach with 'singing sand' near the waterline. A workout facility is located nearby, and a long avenue lined with flowering plants—such as beautiful lilac shrubs—runs behind the beach. Overall, the Segway tour is described as awesome and highly recommended for sightseeing in Gdansk.
We spend a great time with amazing guide in 1. 5 h tour in OLD CITY GDAŃSK. That was a very first time on a segway So we recevied good tutorial. Thank you

We had a horrible experience with this tour. We had a party of four. Two of us had done Segway tours before. We were met by a guide who admitted she didn’t know much about the Segway, and would be guiding us by bicycle. We had no instruction or orientation before two of us were instructed to drive two Segways to another area to pick up the other machines. We were driving on narrow sidewalks and had to cross a construction area. We felt very unsafe. We then stopped to pick up the other machines. My wife had no instruction on how to get off the Segway, and when she tried to get off, the machine lurched forward and she fell very hard onto the ground injuring her elbows and had the wind knocked out of her. After 10-15 minutes she was able to walk with assistance to our transportation after which we were able to get medical attention. This was a very unorganized and dangerous experience. There was no instruction, no provision of helmets or safety vests and seemingly no accountability. I would not recommend this company.
Ken M — Google review
If you want to learn to ride a segway this is good otherwise it was a very disappointing tour, Initially we were being sent with a non English Speaking tour guide. Not much good for 2 English speaking people, we then got an English speaking one who only seemed to want to take us out of the way of crowds but didn't tell us anything about the city and when I asked questions I was told that's just the way it is. Fun on the segways but definitely not a way to learn about the city
