No one protects the purity of the water. Yachts and ships dump waste. Dangerous waste floats in the sea, including sewage from human waste on yachts, posing a risk of intestinal infection—do not swallow the water.

The Beach is very close to my hotel,literally takes couple of minutes to arrive. Visiting in December but weather is just perfect throughout the day, 21/22 degrees which is summer to me. I will definitely be back during winter to avoid the crowds.

It looks cool due to its Turquoise water colour but beach water is having some plastic waste and not clean. It will be occupied mostly with Europeans. The beach surface consists of uneven rocks. Risky for non swimmers.

A beach with coarse sand, I really liked it. You can rent a couple of sunbeds for 120 liras. But you should be careful when bathing, there is a chance to cut your feet on sharp stones under water and I advise you to wear special slippers

Public beach with blue flag. Free of charge except for sunbeds and umbrellas which are for rent if you wish to use them (1,5 €/each). Of course you are allowed to use your own portable sunbed/chair and umbrella free of charge. Showers and dressing cabins are also free of charge and adequate in quantity. There are several beach volley courts and bars/cafes nearby that serve snacks and drinks. The sand is coarse which is easily washed away. Seawater is very salty and warm. Salt causes very high buoyancy. The shoreline lacks sand and has some flat and slippery rocks which makes it a little hard to enter into the sea. It quickly deepens (in a few meters), too. So I can't recommend for little kids. You need to be careful especially in wavy days.

The beach itself is very beautiful and convenient. However, it’s very dirty. I don’t understand why neither the beach nor the water is cleaned. The water is very polluted by visitors, with microplastics, bandages, and various waste that shouldn’t be there visible everywhere. The authorities and visitors show a very careless attitude toward such a beautiful place. It’s really a shame.

cleopatra beach is truly one of the must visit places for swimming and relaxing. the sand and the sea are very clean, making it a great spot to enjoy the water. although both tourists and locals sometimes leave trash behind, i really hope this will decrease in the future so the beach can stay as beautiful as it deserves to be. the view here is stunning, the sunset, the mountains with goats wandering around, and the surrounding tourist spots all create a breathtaking atmosphere. the endless horizon of the sea brings a real sense of peace and relaxation. this natural wonder is also home to crabs, jellyfish, and even large fish, which makes the experience even more unique. on top of that, the cable car view over the area is simply amazing and adds to the overall charm of visiting this beach.

Nice long beach with some flat rocks in the water. But easy to get into the water. Sunbeds and umbrella cost 375 Lira. Absolutely ok. 👍🏾

Kleopatra Beach is absolutely beautiful!!!! The sand is soft, the water is clear and refreshing, and the whole atmosphere is just so relaxing. It’s a lovely spot to spend the day, whether you’re sunbathing, swimming, or just enjoying the views. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for hire if you need them, and lots of little cafes and restaurants nearby for snacks and drinks, which makes it really convenient. The beach was clean and well looked after, which I really appreciated. It’s popular, so it can get busy at times, but it still has a calm and friendly vibe, everyone just seems happy to be there. I really enjoyed my time at Kleopatra Beach and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Perfect for a chilled-out day by the sea!

Kleopatra beach is so beautiful. The heat is unreal! The sand is lovely but gets super hot in August! I love going in the sea which is very warm, clean and refreshing. However the waves can get very powerful and knock loads of people over which is actually great fun! But if you're fragile take care! The back drop of Alanya castle is so beautiful.

The beach itself is amazing,very long and plenty of space for everyone. The sea there is beautiful, lifeguards are everywhere so it seems to be like a safe place to swim. Negative is no free toilet these days Paying 50p for every entry is just stealing money for your basic needs.

Beach looks not attractive but the water is very clear and nice to swim. Streams of cold water from the river feel nice in hot afternoon. Lots of russian and turkish families.

100% pick this beach over Kleopatra - less busy, and cleaner. Water is cooler (deeper and close to Dimcay river). Just note that this is a beach with pebbles/rocks so bring appropriate water shoes.

the water is not clean. Below is a rocky place. There are five-star hotels around here, but they are not very good. . Cleopatra Beach has better water. And Cleopatra Beach has free showers and changing rooms. This location has showers for hotel customers only and showers with very little water. If you take the number 1 bus in front of the sea, you will go to Cleopatra Beach. The bus does not cost 10tl one way. Please move to Cleopatra Beach. You can use the shower until quite late. However, Turkey has a high smoking rate, so cigarette butts are everywhere you go. Other than that, the beach would be relatively clean.

The castle has a great view of the city so you may only go there to see this fantastic view. We liked walking up to the entrance and they have clean toilets and a shop selling fresh cold drinks. It was not too busy maybe because we went there during the week. The whole place could be a bit cleaner but still good.

Get on the cable car to the top to see some spectacular views. The castle is big and you could easily spend a whole day there exploring. You will need some decent footwear as there are many steps. Walkways are full of little bazaar type shops and hidden gems to explore. Visited with a guide to show us the best bits buy can easily make your own way around. The sunset was awesome.

Clifftop castle covering a hugh area. Can get chairlift or walk to top of it. Lots of great views all around it. Set out on different levels decent footpaths. Also did boat trip from harbour around headland again great views of castle walls.

Views are amazing and the bazaar is nice with fair prices. Not much of the castle left that can be seen, would like more demonstrations of what it looked like. We went on a Friday afternoon and the castle was open to all for free, it was nice to walk around and see the views. You could just take the cable car up for the views and save some money but everyone has their preferences

Very cool experience. Incredibly beautiful up there on the mountain and you can see as far as you want! Lots of differences in level, so strollers and wheelchairs are not suitable. There is a small market at the top and also kiosks and restaurants along the way. We walked up and took the cable car down. The cable car was a scary experience for those afraid of heights and it's expensive. 920 lira for two people one way!

Excellent view and great historic location. If you’re English speaking, I definitely recommend doing your own research to accompany your visit; the signs are not well translated and it’s hard to get an idea of the inspiring history of the place. Definitely recommend visiting at sunset, getting transport up the hill and visiting the market stalls on the way up before your visit as they will close

This was an amazing find on our holiday to turkey and 100% worth a visit. We took the cable cart up to the top of the mountain where the castle is, you can also drive up and park in the car park if preferred. The castle ruins were well kept and had little shops and toilets throughout, you can pay to enter the castle or if you want you can just walk around the outer ruins and grounds for free. We seen some amazing views of the surroundings including the harbour and the famous I ❤️ Alanya sign. This could easily be a half to full day out depending if you enter the castle or not and is perfect for children we took our now 6 and 10 year-old boys with us who absolutely loved to see the ruins and read the stories behind them.

Nice activity if you like caves, stalactites and stalagmites. Very reasonably priced at 300TL for two adults (children go free). Only 3 stars as it's a lot smaller than expected. You go in, down some stairs into a recess where there are lots of stalactites and stalagmites. The cave has ancient healing properties according to legend. A nice place to escape the heat of the day.

Damlataş Cave is a small and simple place, but it is truly beautiful and worth a visit. The natural formations inside are fascinating, and even though the cave is not very large, it has a unique charm that makes the experience special. The ticket price is very reasonable, and I really appreciated that they offer a student discount for those studying in Türkiye, which makes it even more affordable. The staff at the entrance were polite, helpful, and welcoming, which made the visit more pleasant. It doesn’t take too long to explore the cave, but it’s a nice stop, especially if you are already visiting the nearby Cleopatra Beach. The atmosphere inside is cool and peaceful, making it a great way to escape the heat for a while. Overall, a simple but beautiful natural attraction with kind workers and fair prices. Definitely recommended if you’re in Alanya.

Beautiful natural cave with great price (150 TLR per person) but you can only pay with card, they don’t take cash. We visited at 10 am and there were only about 5 people inside but after a few minutes a large group of over 50 rude tourists (guess the nationality) appeared and crammed up the whole place. The number of people allowed in the cave should be regulated because there was nowhere to move. There are signs saying how you shouldn’t be loud or how you shouldn’t touch the stalagmites but people don’t care, they were sitting on the stalagmites, climbing over the railings and not following paths, shouting and ruining the overall experience for us.

Lovely cave. Very good price and you can spend as long as you want in there. Obviously I went in the peak season and it was very packed, but definitely worth a visit, to experience thousands of years of history.

Students pay 50TL and adults pay 150TL as of June 2025. The cave is small with only taking 5 to 10 minutes to explore depending on how long you're willing to stay. You get good pictures.

Very nice stone formations and stalactites, but also very small. It is a 10 minutes visit. Also there is a lack of controlling people to stop them touching the rocks. Could buy the tickets directly in the entrance and around 7pm there was no waiting.

Set close to chairlift up to Antalaya castle. These small caves are worth a visit for a few lira. Go downstairs into cavern area with stalagmites and stalactites.

A smaller museum, but I enjoyed myself a lot. There was an outdoor area with many stone pieces and the interior was just one floor but a fair amount of rooms. The only lacking element for me was the gift shop. It was more of a vending machine, which would be fine but it was out of service. Overall I would recommend visiting. The outside is shaded and the inside is air conditioned and the have a clean washroom. There was also a room inside for children to play.

Excellent small museum to get you understand the history of the region. Great artifacts nicely arranged with english explanation. Surrounding park is a nice place to relax. Not crowded and not expensive- 186 lira is the current entry fee. Highly recommended.

Small but wonderful museum which gives you a great insight on the history of Alanya. Lots of great artifacts. A must see.

This is a very interesting, well structured, even relatively small museum. In my opinion, it's definitely worth to visit it. Museum Card Turkey is valid here.

The museum was founded in 1967. Naturally, it is filled with antiquities - many ceramics, marble and other items, mosaics dating back to the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods. Enjoy the many beautiful photographs. And even better, when going to Alanya, go and see it in person.

Not a fancy, full service beach compare to other great on beach spots. Bring your own towel, umbrella and drinks if needed. But great place to go as the water is calm when others are wavy!

Very nice little sandy beach! If it's crowded I would go somewhere else, but yesterday it was totally OK! The water is crystal clear, no waves and the temperature of the sea was awesome. Only negative point for the yachts coming there to let the passengers swim: this causes some plastic and other rubbish to come ashore which is a shame.

It's okay if you have small children, they can play with the sand or in the shallow waters. There are almost no waves. The sand isn't very clean though and the water could be more clear. In my opinion there are better beaches in Alanya for free.

It's a wide sandy beach with a shallow entrance into the water and only a few smooth pebbles at the entrance to the sea, so it's good for children. We rented sunbeds at the Flamingo bar which had good food and toilets/showers. The sand on the beach is dirty though and the sea is even dirtier, so we preferred Cleopatra beach, which is much cleaner, even though our young children couldn't swim there.

Umbrellas and chaiselongs for free. Just come not later 9 am. The sea is not deep here. Good for children!

Only thing positive about this beach are the nice curves hiding under swimsuits - oh yeah, and the warm water. The garbage floating, loose dogs running and norwegian speaking turks is a little to much. My tip is to say you are russian, then they leave you alone.

nice wide sand beach,not too crowded; entrance in the water is very smooth and there is not.even a stone on the ground ! you could.stay in the water all day long ,so pleasant it is ; not to speak of the water temperature which at the end of September was around 26-27 degrees Celsius ; no waves at all during the whole period of two weeks ! Great historical place. Couldn’t go in as it closed as I arrived, but a fascinating history and satisfying walk round the shipyards which are not far away and very cheap for entry.

the red tower (kızılkule) is definitely a must-visit spot. the sea below is very clean, the view is stunning, and the tower itself tells a rich historical story — it’s truly wonderful. i highly recommend exploring both the inside and outside of the castle, as every part has something unique to offer. for me, this place will always remain a part of my childhood, and i deeply love it. it gives me an incredible sense of peace and connection. the view of the ships and boats during sunset is absolutely breathtaking. at the upper parts of the castle, you can also find different restaurants and tourist spots where you can take a break, enjoy the scenery, and fully experience the magical atmosphere of this historic landmark.

great place worth visiting. In addition to the history of the tower and ship yard there was an exhibition as a part of the 9th ALANYA INTERNATIONAL CARTOON COMPETITION with the topic "Living in a world with artificial inteligence". The exhibition was a great contrast to the surrounding history. Highly recommend.

Come here at the evening, the view is better and more cosy. Very touristy place, you can see it once but that's that. I did not go inside, so cannot comment on that. Seems like you can go around the defense walls which starts at the castle. You can go walk on the water nearby, don't miss that as the little stones are smooth for the foot and feels well.

The cable car up was quick and easy. Great views to the cleopatra beach. Be aware there is a stepped walkway up to the fort from the cable car! Various veiwing points on the way up. Reasonable priced too.

Staff was generous let me in for free because I am disabled. There was an exhibition about AI inside. The view from up is breathtaking.

Such unfriendly staff, as soon as my husband and i came in those young boys are standing whispering about us and laughing at us. What pissed me of is when they come to our table and look at us and when we are ordering they secretly laugh. I came to have a good time not to be bullied

My family and I stayed at the hotel a few doors down from GOYA for a week in October 2017. We ended up coming to GOYA every single day... even choosing it over our hotel's beach & pool. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the bartender Adnan is amazing (makes the best drinks)! The food is also very delicious and the menu has something for everyone. Infinity pool with a swim-up bar... stunning. It was very hard to leave. Temperature was perfect, pool was clean. There were plenty of sun beds and places to sit/hangout. DJ was also amazing and played a great variety of music. I can't wait to come back to Turkey and will definitely be coming back to GOYA!!

Amazing beach club. We loved it! We had so much relax. No kids. Here just for adults it is important. The sea view so beautiful. Pool so beautiful. Bar nice. Good shisha. All prices normal not so much expensive. For relax very nice. They did foam show also. Dj playing nice songs. I wanna come back here again 🥳💃

Very friendly staff, great pool music, no(t too many) kids, nice guests, amazing coctails and delicious dishes. We come back again for sure. If you are 25+, it is your place. It is recommended to reserve in advance on phone, since they get full quite often.

A beautiful harbour with lots of 'pirate ships', especially in the evening when all the lights are lit up. Probably not a place to visit on a regular basis, but a good attraction to visit once or twice. Parking right next to the harbour is expensive. Either park east of harbour on a public beach parking, or on nearby streets

Loved visiting this fortress tower right in the harbour on the sea edge. Its so well maintained and very impressive strong structure with magnificent views from the top. There is lots to see inside on various floors and all the exhibits are illuminated. Highly recommended.

Definitely worth a visit in combination with the Red Tower. Interesting to see this old structure and how they build ships in ancient times.

A fascinating old shipyard with a charming pathway which is great for the photo shoot. you can buy a combo ticket for the red tower and the shipyard and it might take nearly 2 hours to visit both. Bring a bottle of water, especially in summer.

As I entered this shipyard was falling in love with this place. It is full of mystique and history. The fact that the shipyard has been amazingly preserved till today is impressing. Ticket costs only 15TL. Staff is so friendly.

Beautiful old city wall which ends dead but at the end is the old shipyard. A combo ticket can be bought for the shipyard and red tower. The city wall is a very beautiful place to make pictures towards the sea side and wall going up to the castle.

I saw it from the sea and it was enough for me. I prefer the higher grounds more. Still beautiful, never the less.

Didn't have food here. But had a nice afternoon with lots of drinks, music, chilling on the sunbeds, going on the beach, in the swimming pool.

Traveling on a cruise ship and needed food and relax without the heat. The service was over the top. The atmosphere was so amazing it was hard to describe and the food was great!

Rude and unbalanced staff. Families with children are allowed but not welcomed, as you can see on their faces the first time they see you. An employee yelled at my wife and threw things, scaring our 3-year-old son and bringing him to tears. The reason for this attitude was that they hadn't ordered anything from the pool bar.

For two return tickets for foreigners are 1000TL but one way is 950TL. ( not sure about the price for the locals) So it's best to get a return ticket to make your money worth. It's quite hot to hike up, cable car is much more easier. Cable car is stable and you can get a lot of nice views from the top. If you are renting a car and decided to drive there, best advice to make sure you park at a designated parking area or go earlier before it gets rammed with cars and tour buses.

Return ticket 280TL Can be a small wait to get a ticket and board. The ride up takes about 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Nice view as you travel up or down. Be aware that there are a lot of steps when you get off at the top and can be difficult but rest areas every 100 metres.

Great way to travel to the top of the mountain with great views of Kleopatra beach and the boats on the sea. Ride is smooth and comfortable.

Each car fits around 6 people and provides stunning views of the surrounding city and area. Also a convenient way of getting up and down to alanya castle which is also worth visiting.

We were waiting more than 30 minutes. It’s because there is big distance between each cable car and the process it’s very slow. We were there around 18:30 and the line was very big. The cabin itself is comfortable and time to go the top is around 5 min. You can by tickets for the cabin only for two people (private) but I think it’s not worth it. The ticket per person was 240 LIRAS as per 09.08.2023

Lovely views, our wait wasn't bad and kids loved it

We paid like 22 euro per person so it was very expensive for the ride bz it goes only half way and then half you have to walk. The view are very nice but not woth for the price. If you are doing first time the ride then you must go but for us was like 5th time so it was not worth it.But we asked to a taxi driver and he said 10 euro.

Very bad!!! The beach here is dirty, no one cleans the shore here. The employee who takes money for sunbeds is very unfriendly and rude. Parking is paid - 1€, sunbeds are also paid for 3€ each. I don't know what to pay for here, the beach is terrible. The attitude of the workers is also terrible. Don't come here!
