Gorgeous beach in Sola, Rogaland. Perfect for long/short walks (not suitable for strollers/wheelchairs without special sand proof wheels though). Beautiful sunrises/sunsets and a lovely background for photo shoots. Recommended!

Great beach for families. Near the airport so can watch aircraft land. The parking can fill up on weekends, so be sure to be there early.

For a 15 minute walk from the airport (and the no. 42 bus stop by the Clarion Hotel), it's a beautiful beach, not too busy but with stunning silver sands and terquoise sea. Worth a visit if you're up for the walk :)

I love this beach. Its great to come here and relax. You can find a nice quiet spot on the soft sand and enjoy the sunshine and sound of the waves. Water is cold but pleasant.

Lovely lake and park area, especially for birding, as you'll find many different species here 🐦 Bring binoculars to spot the birds resting out on Måkeholmen (Gull isle). It's just over a 3km round trip, and there are plenty of park benches dotted around the lake. To the west of the lake, you'll find Mostun Natursenter and Stavanger Art Museum 🎨. To the south, you'll find Mosvangen camp site 🏕.

This is an amazing 3 Km lake surrounded with trails absolutely best for running, walks or jogging. This is also a best place for summer picnics and family day outs. This is the best nature so close to the city. I love it!

Beautiful long beach! Good for taking walks on cold and windy days - and beautiful in the summer time when the weather cooperates. It can be a bit tricky to get parking when the weather is great in the summer so come early - or choose other ways to get to the beach ;-) Great sand that continues into the ocean - the water is of course quite refreshing as this is the north sea.

Very nice, and spacious, beach! They have a kiosk there where they sell ice cream, fries etc... I think i also saw a pizza shop there. They have a spot for camping if you would like that. The only thing is when it actually gets hot there are plenty of jelly fish in the water, but they are pretty easy to aviod👍🏻 also it's a little windy, but other than that, it's a perfect beach for family and friends😁

This is a lovely little beach with nice ocean views. Between the parking lot and beach, there are large sand dunes with grass where many people lie in the nooks in order to sunbathe in a spot where the winds aren’t constantly attacking. Unfortunately the winds were quite vicious while I was there and it is literally right across the street from Stavanger’s airport which kind of ruins the ambiance.

Sandy beach, great for a walk or run even in cooler weather. Quite long too. No restaurants or cafe's however, only place I saw was the Strada Hotel's restaurant and a butikk that is probably open in the Summer.

Perfect loop for a run. As someone mentioned earlier; ~8Km. Mostly level with a few small inclines. Very tidy area. If this was in my home country (Scotland) there would be plenty trash along the path... Well done Norway for looking after your beautiful country.

It's the biggest lake around Stavanger which I've been. It's really nice to bike around and it's very alive during Spring and Summer. Since the Stavanger Roklub and Golfbane is within the area there's a lot of activity going in. The main Camping area is almost always packed during summer and it's really fun.

Beautiful place. Must visit on a Sunny Sunday.

The greatest thing about this beach is it's wide and accessible area of parking right next to the beach. During summer, sometimes might get too crowded. Sometimes can get very windy even on warm summer days which can be a little annoying if you want to chill and read a book on the beach. You might also find a bookshelf to borrow books to read which is nice. But surely a great place to walk dogs, or having a quiet moment on a random foggy day.

It is really a very good place for a nice family time with kids. Very little sand with grass. I liked more because it has a small play area for kids in the shallow depth of water. My daughter loved it!! Very nice and clean beach . We have benches to sit, relax and talk. Also has a good scenic view of a hill.
