Outdoor Activities
San Vito Lo Capo's beach is a renowned destination with a three-kilometer stretch of fine golden sand and turquoise waters. It's a popular spot for couples and families, offering essential amenities. The beach is located in the province of Trapani, at the northwestern tip of Sicily, nestled by a mountain and featuring intense blue seas contrasting with white sand and townhouses. Additionally, it hosts the largest couscous festival in the Mediterranean basin in September.
The beach of San Vito lo Capo is incredible. It's a long sandy beach, and crystal clear water. The proximity with the cliffs make everything looks even more beautiful. It's close to the city and easily accessible, which means more people can go. It wasn't bad in May, there was plenty of space at the beach. The only downside is the amount of paid areas you will find, but it wasn't such a big issue for us as we enjoy the walk. Overall a great experience and I'd definitely go back.
Lucas A — Google review
Visited 12/08/25 - most crowded beach I've ever seen. You cannot see if it's actually beautiful or not, You just see people and umbrellas. The water has nice colour, so probably in another time of the year my rating would be higher, but during peak season I discourage to go there...
Jakub G — Google review
For me the combination of crystal clear water, spectacular turquoise color that difficult to find anywhere else, white sands everywhere, rows of restaurants and cafe, and fully equipped umbrella and sun bed for rent - Really make San Vito lo Capo my favourite beach, and deserve 5 stars rating from me. Well you can enjoy the beach from my pictures and video (objective view without filter) just natural beauty.
Steven K — Google review
The beach might be nice but I think it is hyped too much. The parking spots were overcrowded in august. Any other beach would do the same and be more relaxed. But its not bad.
Philipp D — Google review
I visited San Vito Lo Capo at the end of August, and while the water was stunningly clear and beautiful, the crowds were overwhelming. The beach was packed with umbrellas and people everywhere, to the point where it was hard to even see the sand. You do have to walk a bit into the water before it’s deep enough to swim, but that wasn’t really an issue. What really took away from the experience was the noise and the sheer number of people ..I’ve honestly never seen a beach so crowded.
Alex — Google review
A stunning place where the bright blue sea meets the impressive limestone mountain – absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Sicily.

San Vito Lo Capo Beach is an absolute paradise. The crystal-clear turquoise waters and the fine white sand create a picturesque setting that's perfect for relaxation.

The San Vito Lo Capo Lighthouse, a 43-meter-high cylindrical tower, has been guiding sailors since the 1800s and is now automated. Situated near various attractions and hiking paths, it's a must-visit stop in Sicily. The lighthouse overlooks the beautiful beach of San Vito Lo Capo, known for its fine white sand and clear Blue Flag seas. Visitors can also explore nearby ruins such as the Tonnara del Secco.

Hiking area
Inizio sentiero per Monte Monaco is a popular hiking spot in San Vito lo Capo, offering a short 3 km route to the top with an uphill climb of about 450 meters. The mountain overlooks the town and provides breathtaking views. Hikers are advised to start early in the morning for a more pleasant experience and to look out for directional signs along the way.
This is a great hike! Definitely not an "easy" one if you are generally not fit. Make sure to come here as early as possible. 6.30-7.00 AM is a perfect time to start the ascend, the sun will be on the other side which makes the whole experience pleasant. There's no parking there, so plan your trip accordingly. And look for little piles of rocks for the direction should you loose your way.
Alex — Google review
Challenging but rewarding hike. I parked on the paved street at the bottom. There is a dirt road up to the start of the hike, where you will see a sign for the trail. The first section is very steep switchbacks until you reach a rocky promontory. Then you will pass through a field with moderate incline, which was filled with flowers and grasses. Keep an eye out for trail markers as the trail is tough to find sometimes. After a certain point you meet up with an old road, which leads you to the top. From here up it's fairly easy. The top has a few old structures, amazing views and can be a bit gusty with wind. Plan for about 3 hours round trip. Enjoyed it thoroughly!
L.A. B — Google review
It’s a good hike, works well for the evening hours. Make sure to start to hike down right after sunset latest to make it on time!
Benjamin K — Google review
Such a nice hike! We are beginners and took the way straight up and down. Going carefully it was very doable and the views were amazing!
Natasja S — Google review
A very nice path up the hill, easily doable in a bit less than one hour up to Monte Monaco. Although the Eastern side is the more popular one to hike up Monte Monaco, this one has many signs that show you the right way up. You get rewarded with stunning views to all directions. Just leave your car at the side of the street down in San Vito.
Fabian L — Google review
A nice walk, but after fires there's very little shadow. Stay hydrated
Adexo — Google review
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful panorama. Not a difficult path, but on a constant slope (500m of altitude in 3100 of path). Unfortunately, given the slope, and the nature of the terrain, during the walk, you cannot enjoy the beautiful landscape and panorama: in fact EVERY step, every single position of the foot, must be checked while walking. Unfortunately, to see the panorama, you have to stop. The terrain is made up of beaten earth and many stones, rather large.. so you cannot be distracted. We left the car where the asphalt road ends, and as the sign says, in an hour we reached the top. Even though we did the walk at the end of June, at 3 pm, it was not particularly hot. Thanks to the light dry and constant breeze that comes from the sea. The entire circular route could be interesting.. (Original) Panorama molto bello.

(Translated by Google) Superb view! For the moderately fit non-alpinist, the trail is nice and challenging but manageable. It climbs and descends briskly, without any hassle. About 1,000 meters away, there's a large free parking lot, which I consider the perfect starting point. My recommendations for summer would be: 1. Start early in the morning, when part of the climb is still in the shade. 2. Bring plenty of water. 2. Ausreichend Wasser mitnehmen

Festival
The Cous Cous Fest is an international cultural and enogastronomic Mediterranean event held in the city during the last week of September since 1998. It features live music shows and the renowned Cous cous World Championship, where chefs from various countries such as Ivory Coast, France, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Palestine, Senegal, and Tunisia compete by presenting their traditional couscous dishes. The festival also hosts free live concerts by well-known artists.
Some 8 yrs ago, I enjoyed the festival whike there visiting for a wedding
Al ( — Google review
Traveled here from America and saw that this festival was happening and we were able to attend it on the last day. With the language barrier, we figured out that we need to buy €12 day passes, which was good for a couscous bowl, cup of wine and an espresso. The festival was spread out throughout the downtown area, but it would’ve been nice to have a map of where all the booths were. Again, being a foreigner, we didn’t understand the concept of the different type of couscous dishes they were offering. One of the things we noticed at one of the booths is that there was nowhere for people to sit once they received their bowl of couscous, also another thing is when you’re done eating the couscous there were no trash cans around to dispose of. We were lucky to have good weather and music to go along with the day.
Tony V — Google review
Extremely disappointing experience at Cous Cous Fest and in San Vito Lo Capo. I would strongly recommend staying clear of this town. Parking is extremely limited. We parked in an area marked “1 hour free.” Our car was there for only 35 minutes, yet we received a €30 ticket. To make matters worse, we then tried to find another parking spot, went the wrong way, and were fined again—this time €60. The police officers, especially the female officers, were incredibly rude, unhelpful, and even screamed at us in Italian. Instead of explaining, they just yelled in our faces. Absolutely no hospitality. We later learned you are supposed to place a parking “timer” or note on your car to show when you arrived—but how would a visitor possibly know this? The so-called “signs” explaining this were hidden on the next block, completely invisible from where we parked or walked. I’ve attached a photo showing the tiny timer symbol—impossible to notice if you’re not already aware of the system. In just one block, we saw at least six other tourists—Americans, Europeans, etc.—all fined in the same way. Clearly, this is a trap for visitors. We have traveled extensively throughout Europe and spent 37 days in Sicily, and this was by far the most unwelcoming city we encountered. Never in all our travels have we experienced such hostility and lack of fairness. We will never return to San Vito Lo Capo, nor will we recommend it to fellow travelers, especially Americans. I would give this place 0 stars if I could
Terra T — Google review
We drove all the way from Palermo to San Vito Lo Capo for the couscous festival. We arrived about 1 pm and the place was not what I expected, it was very quiet not much happening. We were told that there is only three booths selling couscous. We found a booth selling a variety of couscous and it cost €12 for a plate of couscous, a glass of wine/water and bitters/coffee. The food was nice but not amazing.
Daniel S — Google review
Watch out, that is the fish cous cous you may get for 12 Euro
Google review
First of all is the parking issues. All parking in the city is for a residents or persons with disabilities , all the rest is occupied. We spent an hour for searching a parking . There was so loud and so many people and the portions are so small for this price. No, no, no
Google review
I was in San Vito from the 10th to the 22nd of September. During the Cous cous fest the town becomes a sort of "Rimini", with music on the beach from 3pm onwards, which became very loud techno/disco music from 11pm to 1.30am on Friday and Saturday. The other days the techno/disco music played until half past midnight. This happened with a special permission from the police, as the Comandante explained to me. The food is not really good. For 10 euros you can get much better stuff in any "bar" or "tavola calda". Before and during the Cous cous fest, garbage has remained for days outside the house (Via Meli), even though I took great care in following the detailed instructions provided by the authorities and repeated every evening (in Italian of course) by a car with a loudspeaker. Dogs, cats, and goats could repeatedly enjoy the rests of our meals and we could enjoy the sight of broken garbage bags. The beach was almost every day full of seaweeds and other rests from the sea. It seems that neither the municipality nor the persons who rent the beach umbrellas are responsible for cleaning the beach, which I thought is a regular service in touristic areas (at least I have seen it on the Adriatic coast). Even though the sun, the food and the people were nice, I won't go again to San Vito Lo Capo.
Cristina P — Google review
It's ok, but in my opinion it takes some of the authenticity of this beautiful place. Besides, you'll find lots of booths selling stuff that has nothing to do with the region or its past (e.g. Spanish beer or Swiss candy)

The Chiesa - Santuario di San Vito Martire is a historical complex in the town square dedicated to the patron saint, Saint Vito Martyr. While some attractions in San Vito lo Capo may require traveling by road, visiting this ancient fortress-church is definitely worth the journey.
Must visit if in San Vito.. Every church is so different in Sicily! Super i fluenced by all the population who had been passing through this wonderful island

Beautiful historical church in the small seaside town of San Vito Lo Capo. Crypt is definitely worth a visit. History goes back to 5th century and fortified in 15th century.

San Vito is a 4th century saint, martyred by the Emperor Diocletian. He was renowned in Sicily for being a healer. He is invoked against epileptic seizures as well as the neurological condition known as St. Vitus' Dance (chorea), due to the involuntary movements caused by the illness. The church was built in the 5th century but many modern touches have been added to the decor. His reliquary is in the lower chapel of the church.

San Vito Lo Capo is a charming resort town with a small, picturesque white houses and a long sandy beach at the foot of Mount Monaco. Once a hub for tuna fishing, it now attracts visitors for its stunning beach. The clear turquoise waters and pink-tinged sand make it an ideal spot for relaxation and scenic sunsets. While the beach can get crowded, especially in peak season, it offers beautiful views and ample parking.
Lovely place. Clear water, clean and turquoise. Really warm in October, and not that crowded, ideal for relaxing in picturesque landscape. Really peaceful at sunset. The village is cute and has a unique vibe.

Beach didn’t live up to high expectations from reviews etx. It was VERY busy, and so many hawkers in the beach trying to sell things. We brought our own umbrella and not a lot of spots for public sitting as mostly paid chairs etc, overall I think could be spent at other beaches less crowded.
Jason G — Google review
Gorgeous beach! Looks like the Caribbean. Clear, warm, clean water and powdery white sand beach. Tasty eateries and Gelato available for purchase nearby the beach within walking distance. Historical sites and shopping for touring and walking around. Souvenirs, shops available.
Ashley A — Google review
The beach is pretty awesome 🤩 Unfortunately there are lots of people, everywhere and it becomes not so great as experience. There are only umbrellas and lounges that for two people cost 20€. They don’t offer any other services so it is a little bit inconvenient for the customers and tourists in the hottest time to wait for a coffee or looking for place to have something to eat!!! The sand has some pink shades 😎
Elitsa D — Google review
The main beach in San Vito lo Capo is veeeery crowded and the water is not so clean as in the photos!!! Is not worth it to go there!! It’s just a regular crowded beach
Cristina M — Google review
A town known for its blue crystal waters. A very large beach with crystal waters, lovely for a family trip. Always lots of people, but as the sea is big, and very small at the shore, you get to enjoy swimming further away from all the people. Not really private though, as there's always lots of board around too. But lovely waters, sandy beach. Not a blast for people in search of snorkeling and wild secluded beaches. Not as romantic as I imagined, it's much more suitable for families, I would describe it as convenient and common.

Honestly a letdown experience overall. Their only salvation was their cous cous with fried fish and their traditional busiate with prawns that were pretty nice. The rest it was a letdown in terms of service and overall attention to a paying guest. Beginning from a reservation done over the phone and apparently never confirmed. Initially the owner did not want to give us a table as they were fully booked ( we did 1 hour journey just to dine there ) ; after making him aware that it was their fault for not inputting our reservation in the system, as they confirmed it to us over the phone , we finally got a table. The experience from there it worsened; no attention to our table , with different requests of wine , bread , water that was only brought to our table after multiple requests. We waited 1 hour for every course , ending in an overall experience of 3 hours for a simple dinner. No acknowledgment of delays throughout the experience as if this is normal procedure. Overall we paid and gave feedback at the end of the experience , which it was acknowledged and taken on board. My advice : Stop taking multiple reservations at the same time if you cannot cater for them , as you should always prioritise guest experience over everything else. ( feedback given from someone that actually works in hospitality around the world)

We were a group of 8. All of us ordered pizzas and this was a very bad experience. A total disappointment. They were not good at all! The dough was undercooked and oily. The pizzas did not have the ingredients as indicated on the menu. One of the beers costed 15 euros which is completely insane!

Very scenic (remote) beach with super clean water. Walking distance is around 20-25 minutes from the parking place. But the entry fee (5 Euro) of the Nature zones needs to be paid. It is also a remote beach, means no amenities/services. It is advised to bring your own drinks, shades and sandals (also snorkeling masks to see fishes).

We tried nearly all the beaches in Zingaro NR but this obviously the best one… get swimming goggles for a 5/5 experience

The clearest water, super beautiful, but be aware if jellyfishes, I got stung two times within 10 minutes of swimming!

The clearest water I’ve seen in my life. Amazing, worth snorkelling and swimming in for sure. Be aware of risk of jelly fish though

Nature preserve
Riserva Naturale Orientata dello Zingaro is a stunning natural reserve in Sicily, known for its pristine coastline and crystal-clear waters. It's perfect for swimming and exploring the hidden beaches along the coast. Visitors are advised to arrive early, wear comfortable shoes for walking, bring water and food as amenities are limited. Sun umbrellas are not allowed on the beaches, so it's important to be prepared with sun protection.
Zingaro Nature Reserve is absolutely stunning! The views are breathtaking, and the beaches are beautiful. It's a perfect spot for snorkeling with plenty of fish, caves, and an overall fantastic experience for exploration. Make sure to bring a lot of water as there's some moderately challenging trekking required. Note that sun-umbrellas aren't allowed in the park. The entrance fee is €5 for adults, which is well worth it. Parking: €9-10. Highly recommend visiting!
Ireneusz S — Google review
Amazing place!!! Unfortunately we were her just for a few hours, but it completely deserves a whole day, even two if you love exploring nature. There is an entrance fee, but it is completely worth it. There are also museums inside and the place is really well maintained. You also get a map at the entrance.
Elena M — Google review
Absolutely stunning. We took the coastal path which offers magnificent views of the coast and gives you access to some really beautiful beaches. The path is only 7km long but if you stop on the beaches and take pictures along the way it can easily take up to 3h (one way). We did the hike in mid May and despite temperature only being around 20°C it was hot, so I can not imagine doing the hike in the summer (there is very little shade)😅 Bring enough water and snacks🙈 You can start the hike at the southern entrance (near Scopello) or northern entrance (near San Vito lo capo).
Iva D — Google review
The most breathtaking views from this hike. It’s so well taken care of and a pleasure to hike, we loved jumping to swim along the way to help cool down. The free parking gets filled quickly on a holiday, so come early!
Ashley — Google review
Superb. Just superb. One of the best hikes ever. It is not so easy to walk the 7kms and back. Under the sun. But what amazing beauty.
Sylvia K — Google review
It is a wonderful place. We walked through the entire reserve, stopping at beaches along the way. I recommend it if you get to this area. It is a unique experience!
Georgiana S — Google review
The most beautiful place we have seen during our week in Sicily. We arrived late (midday), yet we were still able to park (although bit further on the road). The hike was demanding in high heat, but we made it to three calas in the end - absolutely amazing, the best beaches in Sicily! There was a kiosk before the entrance so if you come unprepared, be sure to buy enough water and food as there is no other shop inside the park.
Jan Š — Google review
Beautiful place. I recommend going through the path in the mountain (empty in october, early morning, 7am, not too hard if you're in shape, if youre not much of a hiker it might be hard) and finishing with an easy hike to cool down at the beach (crowdy). Keep in mind there is barely a shade on the paths, check temperatures, take good shoes, water, better go early morning if you want to hike.

This place was amazing the amenities the staff the location and the Restaurant was top notch literally right on the beach. There was 21 of us that were there from my family and I have to say Veronica did an amazing job with everything and all the rooms as well as the house keeping kept this place so tidy up so clean. Thank you to Veronica your the best and also for making my nieces wedding proposal so memorable from the rooftop.

Google maps struggles to get you through the special traffic zone, and there were no instructions from the hotel. We also got out in a seperate building down the street and had to walk back to the Restuarant and Reception. Food was good, but the door on our room broke and we were given a key instead of a card to access. It is a good location, but we had higher expectation for a 4 star hotel

We have just returned after staying at this hotel for 4 days. What can I say ..... a wonderful discovery !!! Excellent welcome, wonderful atmosphere, clean environment, attention to detail and customer care. The room was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The breakfast was more than abundant and all top quality, not to mention the first courses I ate were the best spaghetti, with clams of my life overlooking the sea. And what about the staff, Veronica the fantastic receptionist. Their spa is beautiful. Since our arrival we have received a genuine and friendly courtesy and hospitality that won us over. The location is excellent, you cross the road and you are immediately at the sea, clean beach and crystal clear water. It is certainly a hotel that I recommend and to which we will return with pleasure.

Located right on San Vito lo Capo’s seafront, Hotel Mira Spiaggia offers a delightful blend of comfort, stunning views, and warm hospitality. The staff are kind and very helpful ,Veronica and Alex were extremely friendly at the reception as the waiters in the restaurant as well. Whether you’re a beach lover, a food enthusiast, or an explorer, this hotel has something to offer. The Highlights: Prime Location: Situated on the seafront, the hotel provides easy access to the beach and is in the heart of San Vito lo Capo. Room Choices: you can choose from various room types, ensuring a tailor-made experience. Some rooms boast sea views, and some even have balconies. Dining with a View: The hotel’s restaurant features a sea-view terrace. You can enjoy a buffet of sweet Italian delicacies for an excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ breakfast, and savour a selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes for lunch and dinner with gluten-free options. I appreciated it and was grateful for the choices that were made. There was a complimentary Wi-Fi and the hotel has a private car park. Exploration Opportunities: Use the hotel as a base to explore northern Sicily. The nearby Zingaro Nature Reserve and Trapani are worth visiting.

We stayed at hotel Mira Spiaggia, 3 nights. We had a wonderful room with a view of the ocean. Great location across street from beach. Excellent staff. Very helpful and great service. Buffet breakfast was great spread with many choices. We look forward to staying here again next year.
Amy A — Google review
A truly amazing experience. I arrived at the hotel with a group of friends to be greeted by the lovely and helpful receptionist, Veronica. From the moment of our arrival we were treated like family, having no problem accommodating the needs of small or large groups. The rooms were of excellent standard with a clean and comfortable environment to relax in the evening. The restaurant gives you a true taste of Sicily, from the fresh caught fish to authentic selection of wine. You’re never more than a 5 minute walk from a local restaurant or shop to fulfil your holiday needs and about 20 steps outside the hotel you reach the beach. As a person with little Italian, I worried about communication however the receptionist has been expertly trained in English and the entire hotel staff are more than happy to help you with any issues. Overall an excellent stay and a true feeling of having a second family here at MiraSpiaggia.

Explore the stunning coastline near San Vito Lo Capo with boat excursions in Zingaro. Join a luxurious boat trip, accommodating around 20-25 people, for a perfect morning or afternoon adventure. While most information is provided in Italian, the journey offers an amazing experience on the water. To fully appreciate the area's natural beauty, consider visiting nearby attractions such as Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo or taking a trip to Trapani and the Egadi islands.
Great value. The boat is big so you do not get closer to the beaches as with other smaller boats. Well organized and efficient. 👍

The cost benefit of this excursion is simply amazing! 35€ per person for 4 hours seeing the most beautiful spots of riserva dello zingaro and scopello from the sea. The guides know the story of the island very well and are extremely nice and helpful! They give you a delicious typical sandwich and some wine too. We stopped at dazzling places where we could leave the boat and swim. It’s interesting, beautiful and relaxing, I would totally recommend it.

We took a spectacular tour departing from San Vito Lo Capo and sailing to the Tonnara di Scopello, sailing along the stunning coast of the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Aboard the "Marlin," a comfortable and welcoming boat with a maximum of 12 passengers, we enjoyed a unique and engaging experience, thanks in part to the professionalism and friendliness of Maurizio and Giuseppe. Throughout the journey, Maurizio shared with us with passion and expertise interesting facts and details about the places we visited. We made three stops to swim in dreamy coves, with crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views. The visit to a small hidden cave and a stop in the marvelous Blue Grotto were the truly magical touches of the day. To top it all off, a delicious aperitif on board with homemade pane cunzato and excellent Marsala white wine made the moment even more special. Excellent value: impeccable service, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic, evocative, and well-organized experience. A heartfelt thank you to Maurizio and Giuseppe for giving us such a beautiful day! (Original) Un’esperienza indimenticabile a bordo della Marlin! Super public bath
Cala del Porto, also known as Billeci, is a secluded cove near the port of San Vito. The area offers crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. While there is no sandy beach, the picturesque rocks create a unique atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy the local fishmonger shop across the road and indulge in fresh seafood or simply admire the vibrant colors of the catch of the day.
Billeci Beach is a hidden gem! Just a 10-minute walk from the busy San Vito Lo Capo, this secluded spot is perfect for a quiet morning escape. Arrive before 11 AM to enjoy the peace and crystal-clear water. The beach is rocky, but the water is sandy and great for swimming. You’ll find a lot of fish, making it ideal for snorkeling. There are also plenty of restaurants close by when you’re ready for a bite to eat. Plenty of parking nearby and far fewer tourists. It's a bit rugged, but that adds to its charm. Highly recommend for a relaxing, non-touristy beach day.

This B&B is a slice of heaven. The location is central to the beach in San Vito Lo Capo and restaurants in the area. I stayed in the room “Tango” which had a private terrace. I have never felt more at home while travelling! The room has modern furnishings with a relaxed beachside vibe. Breakfast consists of coffee, fresh juice, breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats. There even was a sweet little black cat to say good-morning everyday. I checked in with Chiara and she recommended excellent restaurants and a local Enotecca (La Casina) where local music is played. Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience at Ninni e Fede. Very nice clean rooms, very comfortable stay, beautiful courtyard to enjoy the breakfast prepared by the very kind hosts. It is also very central and nice walk to the beach.

The room was very clean and breakfasts was served as promised, fresh and in proper amout. The rest of our stay at Nini & Fede was unfortunately pretty dissapointing. Hosts do not speak english at all, so the communication was a huge challenge on everyday basis. It led us to miscommunication about the parking - the host didnt give us any information about parking and didnt provide any card while checking in. Instead sugested private parking, which costed us 70€ (for 7 days), only after transaction informed about the free parking card option. The situation was misleading and led us to pay extra 70€. Our room was located with the windows straight to the dining area, which was pretty loud and filled our room with smoke of cigarettes often. The water heater was working loud, also at night, which wont let you proper sleep and relax.

(Translated by Google) Fantastic! The owners Enza and Alfonso are two golden people, during our stay my partner and I felt at home. The room where we slept was large, clean and bright, with a comfortable double bed and air conditioning. The abundant breakfast with a wide choice of products to consume, cleaning of the room every day and availability to hang out wet clothes on the small terrace. But most importantly in our opinion, the owners, in addition to being very nice and welcoming, were of great help to us even days after we checked out following a problem we encountered due to private matters (not within their competence!!), knowing how to advise us on how we could react and offering us hospitality and breakfast I REPEAT, after having checked out a few days before! Highly recommended structure, excellent quality/price ratio and location just a couple of streets from the main street of the city. (Original) Fantastici!

Ristorante Gardenia is a centrally located restaurant tucked away on a quiet side street, offering traditional cuisine with great value for money. Their specialty dish is the busiate al pesto. Visitors have praised the generous and delicious dishes, such as the huge mussel soup and top-notch aubergine parmigiana. The busiate alla norma and busiate alla trapanese are highly recommended, along with the trenette with scampi.

Autoservizi Russo srl Capolinea is a reliable option for public transportation in Sicily, connecting various provincial capitals, airports, and San Vito Lo Capo. While the public transport system in Sicily may have some irregularities, using services like AST, Segesta Autolinee, or Autoservizi Russo srl Capolinea can help you navigate the region with patience.
I was nervous about taking this bus from Palermo to San Vito Del Capo however the bus turned up on time, had AC and got us to the destination no problem. Having read the reviews, I was considering paying €100 for a private transfer but no need, the bus was good.

Villa Almyra in San Vito lo Capo is a stunning holiday retreat that exceeds all expectations. Nestled in a tranquil location, this villa is just 100 meters away from the beautiful beach and offers ample space and cleanliness. The hospitable host, Francesco, and his family go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, offering assistance with shopping and providing parking space.
This place is the ultimate vila in san Vito Lo capo. It’s is very clean, has plenty of space, and has everything you could ask for and more. The vila is also very close to shops and restaurants and the beach. The host francesco is super friendly also and nothing is ever a problem for him. He even offered to take us to the supermarket with his own car. This family vila is a must when staying at san Vito Lo capo. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

The villa was a wonderful place for our family vacation! We would definitely choose it again! The property is beautiful! It’s really nice to have a garden around the house. We've had a wonderful stay in September 2016. The house amenities were new, comfortable and well maintained - including a grill and a traditional outdoor kitchen. It was a joy to sit in the quiet garden - during Day and Night. We went to the beach twice per Day as it was so close by. The landlord was very friendly and easy going. Absolutely recommendable and worth the money!

(Translated by Google) The description of the structure is not consistent with reality, as of the 4 bedrooms only 2 have an en-suite bathroom, while the other 2 either share a bathroom located in the hallway or the occupants of one room use a bathroom located outside a few meters adjacent to the outdoor kitchen. It should also be noted that the external bathroom, upon our arrival, was used as a warehouse for dry brooms etc. and without a bidet, smelly and without any window or air vent, in short, impractical also because the owner himself recommended us to use it only for (peeing) or there was a risk of it getting clogged. Another clarification, one of the rooms without a bathroom does not have a private veranda as described, and the occupants had to pass through one of the occupied bedrooms in order to access/exit the room. The beautiful structure unfortunately borders a campsite on the toilet side, and the unpleasant smell of sewage was frequent. After our disappointment, the owner offered a discount on the stay, but the inconveniences remained.

(Translated by Google) Almyra There are 8 of us, four couples of friends with "normal" needs, above all a bathroom per couple... and it was guaranteed to us upon specific request. We stayed here from July 23 to 30, 2023 The structure is very beautiful, the rooms and bathrooms are superior category with great attention to detail. Air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, books, minibar, bathroom kit...etc. The large spaces allow you to enjoy the outdoors comfortably with multiple conversation and relaxation corners. Availability of bicycles and parking space in the structure. The kitchen in the building adjacent to the main one is at the limit of practicability with the temperatures of these days in fact it is equipped with a simple and insufficient fan and it was almost impossible to cook. The structure is presented with 4 rooms with bathroom, one of which is external: LIE!! The 4th bathroom does not exist! It is a small room outside the building with a sink and "toilet" in, perhaps, 2m2 without a window and/or aerator. The shower was used to store brooms and buckets. The same …. host (?) after having supported the thesis of the fourth bathroom all afternoon concluded that we could only use it for “small” needs… confirming what I had contested that it was not even good for “shit” There are two independent rooms with an exclusive bathroom, two other rooms can share the third bathroom in the hallway that divides them. One of the two rooms has no access from the outside and to exit you have to go through one of the other two rooms (then we were “granted” the possibility of exiting through a kitchen that should have remained closed). So 4 couples of strangers even if friends cannot live in this location In response to our, I believe sacrosanct, complaints we were threatened with legal action, requests for compensation for damages with attitudes that were not at all conciliatory and threats to close the house and kick us out. “Mr.” Francesco offered us a discount on the price that we accepted (the alternative was to go home) but which in exchange for a “Bathroom” we would have gladly given up. We took the liberty of pointing out the presence of ants on the kitchen counter and we were told......"I take the rifle and shoot them?". Perhaps 5ignor Francesco was not having a good day and he made ours become "no" too. He showed himself to be inattentive to the resolution of disputes and disrespectful, not only towards us but also towards those, entrepreneurs, hoteliers, restaurateurs who make sacrifices to attract tourists and the economy in a wonderful area! A little more clarity in the descriptions wouldn't hurt. Paolo As you can see, he doesn't deny himself... contract... slander... complaints... but a photo of this splendid 4* bathroom, no?

The room is extremely small, about 10 m, the bed is not extra large, it is somewhat uncomfortable because it is as if wedged in a piece of furniture that gives a feeling of being overwhelmed, hard mattress, there is no air conditioning in the room, the air is a split which is in the kitchen, something illogical because one sleeps in the bedroom which is where it should be cool in summer, which is why it is very difficult to sleep. The bathroom is small, you enter almost right into the toilet and in the shower it is very difficult to shower in such a small space, it leaves you some sachets of shanpoo and shower gel but one per day, if you want to shower twice a day then there is no gel, we never travel with gel or shampoo, especially if we go to “luxury” accommodation that costs €340 a day, like staying at the Melia or the Ritz. It is extremely expensive for a normal apartment, clean but nothing more, if the price were less than €100 then you know what you are getting into, but paying more than €1000 for three days you would expect luxury. Another drawback is that the manager who receives you does not speak English, incredible, he works with a translator but there is an immense communication gap. Finally, it has so many rules to comply with written everywhere that you feel in a prison practically limited and under stress to comply with the thousand rules on your vacation. Not recommended for this price.

(Translated by Google) I spent 10 days in the first floor apartment in July. Completely new, tastefully furnished and functional, with a jacuzzi on the terrace (not for everyone) ideal for a couple... 2 steps from the center. The owners are splendid people, welcoming and attentive to the guests' needs, they asked me with great humility if I had any advice on how to improve the apartment further if needed, in fact I complained that there was no washing machine and immediately made up for it with a voucher for the nearby laundry. I know the washing machine would arrive the day after I left. What can I say, I spent a wonderful holiday because Sicily is splendid and offers so much, from nature, history and people who make you feel at home. A warm greeting to Gaspare and Nancy. It's not very big but for a couple with 1 child it's more than fine, among other things the spaces are optimized impeccably. I stayed here with my boyfriend recently and the apartment was a lot nicer than expected. There was a very spacious garden and all the amenities needed for cooking at home so we didn’t spend too much money on restaurants. The owner was extremely kind and waited for us even though our flight was delayed by an hour meaning we arrived at 23:30. We got free parking for our rental car too. Will definitely stay here again if we go back to san Vito.

Spiaggia di Màcari is a picturesque beach known for its crystal-clear and azure waters. It also boasts panoramic views of the distant mountains, making it an idyllic location to unwind and soak up the serene atmosphere. This charming beach offers a peaceful and tranquil environment with comfortable sand to relish, in addition to free restroom facilities for visitors' convenience.
Beautiful place to swim and watch the sun go down. It is quiet and not crowded. In the middle of nowhere but close to San Vito Lo Capo where it is tricky to find parking. If my memory serves me right, parking is free here. Swimming shoes may be necessary.
Legends L — Google review
Nice, but a bit wild beach. If It's windy, there are waves. The entrance is partialy sandy, partialy rocky and more challenging. The downside is the greater distance from the parking lot (free parking), a lot of seaweed and no showers. A free train takes people there twice an hour. It's full during peak times.
Denis R — Google review
Beautiful wild beach, not far from the crowds and noise of San Vito lo Capo. There is a large free parking area, about a 5–10 minute walk to the beach. At the end of September, there were no cafés, so if you visit, bring your own food and drinks. Sunbeds can be rented for €20. There are no showers, toilets, or changing cabins available. This beach is the perfect spot to watch the sunset.
Milica V — Google review
Just perfect beach to catch the sunset. There is a big free parking lot 15 mins away
Farrux A — Google review
You need to walk from the car park which is free about 700 meters or there is a small train to take people to the beach and it’s free. The beach is not nice at all ! Full of seaweed .
Marianna B — Google review
The scenery here is magical. And there is room to lay down without being too crowded. The water is clear blue and it’s sand everywhere under your feet. It’s baby and child friendly. Many are doing snorkeling 🤿. Why everyone go to San Vito beach Instead of here, is beyond me. This beach 🏖 is by Sicilian standard a 6 stars and San Vito maybe 4, then a 2 when you consider it’s a tourist trap. There are chairs and umbrella to rent if desire or you can simply set your own little space. The parking is free and there is a food truck serving good panini (4 €) and drinks (2.50 - 3.50 €) for a reasonable price. You need to walk to the beach or take a little train that would bring you to it or the nearest beach (Cala Bove) a bit further. If you need help, to get closer you can ask the gate keeper to open the gate for you so you can bring your car closer to disembark, and bring back your car to the parking lot, once done.

Clean beach with ultra clear water and white sand. There is facilities such as toilet at entrance, free parking and areas to buy food and drink on the beach.
Paul F — Google review
I wasn’t really impressed. There isn’t much natural shade, so if you don’t have an umbrella you have to rent sunbeds, which cost between €30–40 in September. At the beginning of the beach the water is nice and clear, but towards the end near the rocks it becomes murky and full of seaweed. At the entrance of the beach there are toilets, but they don’t work. There’s also a small beach bar with a good selection of drinks.
Milanka Z — Google review
We visited in mid-October when it was sunny and crowds were less. We spent half the day here and it was very relaxing. If you have a drone you can make great pictures as the beach is surrounded by water and looks different that others. There are toilets just behind the beach but were locked off-season. Parking was free and very close to the beach but I assume they charge when in season.

Nice soft sand. In September still very hot. Perfect view, turquoise water ❤️
Iulia M — Google review
One of our favorite beaches in the area. Perfect view, turquoise water. It's true there are sections with seagrass but if you continue further, it's beautiful and clean. Parking is free but don't park behind the No entry sign otherwise you risk a fine and we have seen a lot of cars with tickets behind the wipers. The sunbeds and umbrella cost around 45-50 eur which is a lot so bring your own
Jan M — Google review
A nice beach where I spent 3 day from my 7 day holiday. I have chosed the right part of the beach when you look at the see. My only problem was with the water being cold (19-20 degrees) and also with the cold wind. Even at 28 degrees outside, under the umbrela was chill. At the entrance in the sea, there are about 3 meters of big grain of sand and small piece or stone. Otherwise a nice beach.
Marius S — Google review
Really nice beach, not overcrowded (well, as far as Sardinia in mid-July goes...). Make sure you get there a bit early in the morning to get the best spots in the 'spiaggia libera' area (where you do not need to pay or reserve a place): near the middle of the beach.

i love lido sabbione! i spent every day of my vacation here. this is the only full service lido in san vito lo capo. the umbrellas cost the same price as the other parts of the beach, but this lido is handled by staff and services food, drink. the staff members are all so friendly especially marco/ gatsby :) he’s so positive and funny the water is so clear and warm. there are no crabs or animals on this beach. we saw a total of 3 very tiny fishes across 4 days here. the water really is SO clean. the sea is calm and no strong waves so it’s good for lounging. san vito is easily the best beach i’ve been to in my entire life - and i’ve travelled to california, hawaii, bahamas, greece, spain and so much more. tip: 3rd line is still very close to the water. i like it more than 1st line, which is chaotic with people walking past you every minute to enter the water. but don’t go any farther past the 3rd line because it is too hot and you won’t get any ocean breeze.
Anvi — Google review
Hate European beach clubs? Not this one. Parking may be an issue but you can pay a small sum to park inside, umbrellas and lounges, plus great casual snacks plus reserved dining. The swimming is fantastic- the whole beach of San Vito is crammed but locals stay at knee depth and chat and do water arrobics- you can swim in crystal clear sea for miles in seemingly bottomless water. Crystal clear. It's superb. It's also accessible. If you have mobility issues you are helped to your seating and if required, in and out of the sea. The communal aquarobics are a hoot to watch , and join. Lots of fun things to hire for children to ride on. And you can admire the seriously magnificent yachts and power boats that arrive at the port. Full of happy, happy people on holidays.
Jane — Google review
Amazing beach spot, but the food didn’t live up to expectations. The beach complex itself is great -clean, cozy, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. The atmosphere is really relaxing and perfect for spending the day by the sea. Totally recommend this place for a chill beach day! 🌴☀️ However, the food court was a bit disappointing. I ordered a salmon poke bowl (picture from the menu attached 📸), which was supposed to have fresh salmon, edamame, seaweed, cucumber, avocado, etc. Instead, I received a completely different dish - no edamame, no seaweed, no avocado, and the salmon was smoked, not fresh as advertised (photo attached). Hopefully, they’ll improve the food consistency because everything else about the place is fantastic. If you’re planning to visit -definitely come for the beach and vibes, but maybe double-check your order at the food court.

We didnt find any better place in San Vito and spent there the whole week. The sea is super clean, shallow, simply amazing! The beach bar is busy, ok, I can accept it. Bathrooms are super clean. And yes, you need to pay for showers. Prices are fair (for example 30 Eur for an unbrella and 2 beds).

It s tge first beach place when you come in San Vito. It is a little expensive, they have high prices, but they have also clean bathrooms always there was a cute boy who cleans after each person what it was so unexpected for me as a client, but so sad for this guy... Also at this place they have reint cabins but those are so expensive...so for future I hope you will do something smart to have a wall with lockers to rent because some of us, especially turists, want to put they documents and stuff in a safe place. The food is ok, they have an app and they deliver to you your order.

Caletta del Bue Marino is a serene and calm beach located in Sicily, Italy. It offers crystal clear water which is perfect for swimming, though the beach itself is covered with stones and shingle instead of sand. Due to this reason, it remains less crowded than other beaches in the area. Visitors need to wear sea shoes while walking over the stones. Despite being a bit far from the car park, tourists consider it worth visiting because of its unbeatable water quality and great views.
Don’t listen to the other reviews. We have searched high and low for the best beach spots. Only a 5-8 minute walk from the car. Mind you a breath taking and easy walk. This coast is located near the Zingaro Natural Reserve, and both access and parking are free. You can rent two chairs and a beach umbrella for a reasonable price. As you can see from the picture, the water is crystal clear. The only downside is the temperature, it’s extremely cold, possibly due to water currents and I couldn’t stay in the water swimming for more than a couple of minutes.

Nice beach with lots of restaurants and bars around. The beach is full of umbrellas, costing €10-15 which is sad, that you can’t enjoy looking at the sea without the eye pollution of the hundreds of umbrellas. Lots of people coming every now and then selling stuff and offering massage.

They are equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, one part positioned on rocks and the other on sand. At a cost of 20 euros per day we had two sunbeds and an umbrella and the possibility of using the shower. The lido bar is a kiosk with a terrace and umbrellas where, in addition to drinks, granitas and ice creams, you can also have snacks. Honest prices, young and friendly staff. They do not accept reservations. The view all around is wonderful and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Mamita's Beach Garden is a beautiful and well-maintained beach in San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily. It offers a serene setting to enjoy the clear turquoise waters and golden sands, with the option to rent parasols and even enjoy complimentary paddle boarding. The friendly staff are readily available to assist in ordering food and drinks using a convenient QR code system. While there are no on-site facilities like changing rooms, visitors can easily access amenities nearby.
Spent a day here and looked to be the best place on the beach. Everything a little bit more spaced out than the rest, particularly the front row being set further back, allowing a lifeguard, free use of paddle boards, and the option to order food. Perfect.

Overall San Vito do Capo is very beautiful beach. It is sandy beach and has very gentle entrance into the sea. We booked two sunbeds in advance on the website of Mamitas Beach Garden. The downside of Mamitas Beach is that they dont have their own shower and toilets.

Very clean and comfortable lido at the most beautiful beach in Sicily. There was a no smoking rule which was perfect. We were right at the front with the ocean ahead of us and it was well worth the money. The downside is that you have to pay 1€ everytime you wanted to wash off the sea water, which I think, considering the price of the lidos, should be included. But a nice, strong spritz made those worries go away!

Great beach with very friendly staff. Highly recommended! The price for a whole day of an umbrella + 2 sunbeds is 25€ /September/ and you can leave your luggage and come back later, which is great! You can also order and have food and drinks delivered to your lounger. 👍👍👍

San Vito lo Capo, probably the most beautiful beach in Sicily. The clear turquoise water, the 500m mountain at one end, the golden sand, I mean ... qué belleza Mamita's beach was ok, staff was friendly, orders came quick. Too bad they don't have a changing room on the beach.

Advertised as a beach club- hardly. Water is amazing and definitely worth the visit but be advised that their website is clunky, the three of us could not get the menu QR to work despite being told food and beverage were available-we also didn't see a single person using this service, and most regrettably they don't have towels. Freshwater shower is pay. No designated parking but public parking is fairly straightforward to figure out. Very low-budget operation. As an aside: Given the lack of clarity on the website we ended up purchasing 6 chairs, not 3. I asked if we could do a refund and just take the two pairs of chairs which they refused and I said okay we will keep the 6 seats. We went to lunch and came back and they had sold the other 3 seats! It's things like that which drive me INSANE.

Really nice part of the beach, where you can order by QR code drinks and foods. Also the beach is clean, and the staff is friendly.

Best place ever such amazing sandy beach but subbed not for free and shower 1€ but is way worth to come here and enjoy a day or half to the way to erice we stopped and cooled down. Beautiful place.
