Such a beautiful place. With very friendly locals. I can't wait to visit again. With love from South Africa. ❤️

What I liked: - the town and the beach looked reasonably not too crowded, allowing us to find easily space for ourselves on the beach and at the restaurant What I did not like: - the town is in fact just a short road with some bars and restaurants, but there is not a real attraction to visit after the beach.
Andrea R — Google review
Nice beach with some structure and some beach-facing things like restaurants. > Traffic to arrive may be terrible, so pay attention to the period you're visiting. Going on off-season periods is better. > It's not the cleanest beach, but water is good enough for swimming. > You will need to consume (eat or drink) to rent the umbrella and chairs. When I went there it was BRL30 consumption per person. > In comparison to other local beaches, I felt very safe in there. People were friendly and never hostile in any sense.

Nice sun sets, not much else to offer, horrible food, bad service, everything is overpriced, seems they are taking everything they can from the fame of medina, don't bother going much much better places to see in Brazil, or better you go visit so less people where we go haha

quite a big beach, on the left side ideal for kids being repaired (no waves), close all the services as supermarket, banks, restaurants.. nice waves if you like

Nice beach with nice restaurants and places to stay nearby. The town itself is not that pretty, but it’s cheaper than nearby beaches which you can drive and visit such as Camburi and Maresias.

Jureia is a beautiful beach to spend your day! Even if it's cloudy you can make the best out of the place! Me and my family like to go to the end of the beach, almost near the rocks; but not too near, 'cause of hippies and such... Also, DO NOT SWIM, or AVOID SWIMMING, at ALL COSTS, in Jureia Beach! There are lots of Riptides every time of the year! Only certified Swimmers are allowed to swim there! You Shall Not Attempt swimming in Jureia Beach's sea 'cause of Riptide! I warned You!

The parking situation is a bit crazy. Be prepared to walk for awhile before getting to the beach. There is, in fact, parking on the shoulder but far away. More close to the beach there are "no parking" signs on the shoulder, but further away there aren't signs. I also saw another place down with a gate where people were parking. They werent allowing cars to enter the gated community that has access to the beach itself. It's super beautiful. There was a lot of people albeit was a Saturday. We saw some interesting wildlife. Theres lots to explore around and the water was fun for people of all ages. The trail is not too difficult and it's paved the whole way. We did it slowly in flipflops and carrying beach chairs and umbrellas. It took us maybe 12-15 minutes to get back up to the top and very beautiful along the way. You can stop at the waterfall before the beach.

(Translated by Google) We were at the restaurant recently. The atmosphere is really nice and the food is delicious. But something that made me extremely unhappy was the fact that the waiter brought us a “starter” (in short, slices of bread and croquettes with butter), which we were sure was a courtesy (after all, we didn’t order it and we wouldn’t have). When we paid the bill, we were charged R$140.00 for this “starter”. When we asked the waiter, he said it was standard for the restaurant, but none of the tables around us “got” this Greek gift. We didn’t want to get into an argument or waste our evening with a row, but I felt cheated as a consumer and disrespected. After all, it’s not a cheap restaurant. We stretched our budget to try the place and this happened.

One of the best beach in the north shore of São Paulo. It's basically a good place for everything you want to do outside...run, play frescoball, surf, joggi, everything! If you can, choose to go on Monday to Friday. It's usually empty and you can enjoy the white sand, clear water and view when you are swimming...😍

Paúba Beach, or Praia de Paúba, is the perfect escape for those looking to unwind away from the lively atmosphere of Maresias. Nestled just 3.5 km from its bustling neighbor and accessible via a scenic drive, this beach offers a tranquil setting surrounded by lush forests. The serene environment makes it ideal for nature enthusiasts who appreciate its unspoiled beauty. With easy parking available along residential streets, visitors can enjoy ample space on the sandy shores without feeling crowded.
Stunning beach with lots of amenities alongside it. It's a great trek from Maresias, maybe about 40 minutes through nature to get from one beach to another. Waves are way calmer than on Maresias but the chilled vibes are pretty similar. I wouldn't recommend doing the hike after the sun sets though or too early in the morning before sunrise, put safety first
Cato R — Google review
Amazing beach, has an awesome trekking experience from Maresias to Pauba. Really enjoyed the trek. Make sure you cover the trek before sunset. Not a good idea to do it in the dark. Probably one of the most beaches I have been too in the world. Not so crowded and clean everywhere.

Perfect place to spend with family, friends and even alone Very beautiful beach with good barracks that offer good finger foods and drinks with reasonable prices. There are two tracking routes one in each side of the beach... I recommend the place! It’s not far from the cities

Beach located just outside Maresias. Easy parking close to the beach. The beach is wonderful, being surrounded by forest. There's a lot of space on the beach, and you can also find shadow if you need to. There are a couple of people selling food and drinks. No water activities for rent. No guard for water safety.

(Translated by Google) I understood that it is a sub-beach of Maresias beach. I thought it was sensational and I highly recommend it! The beach is full of people, but it is well preserved, clean and very beautiful. On the 1 day I went, the sea was very rough, so I had to be more careful, especially because it is a little bumpy. But I had a lot of fun! The next day the sea had much softer waves and even had an extensive shallow part in the sea. The water was crystal clear and I could even see some fish that were poking my foot lol There were only a few branches when entering the water, I believe it was the river that brings it. I didn't eat at a kiosk, but on the main avenue, but I found everything ridiculously expensive. For those going there by bus, I recommend taking the bus that goes directly to Maresias, not the one that goes to São Sebastião bus station. Island
As Ilhas refer to two small islands located in front of Barra do Sahy, known for its beautiful white sandy beach and clear Caribbean-like waters. One of the islands features a tiny, less crowded beach, making it a popular destination for boat trips. Greenway agency offers various boat tours departing from Juquehy, Barra do Sahy, Barra do Una, and Boicucanga.
(Translated by Google) It feels like paradise. The kiosks are obviously expensive on both beaches. I recommend arriving early to get an umbrella (they rent for 100 reais). The first beach is crowded and noisy. If you like peace and quiet, I recommend the second beach. It is quieter but has a smaller stretch of sand. The first beach gives access to the little river.

Calm sea, clear and transparent waters, Caribbean water. There are two points with bar service, which offer beach chairs and tents, but it is a good idea to bring your own cooler and beach accessories. At the back, there is a beautiful view of the open sea and the rocks, it is worth spending the day there, it is a must-see. (Translated by Google) The trail has been renovated, with handrails, signs and interesting facts about the region. It is a long walk, and for those who are physically fit it is quite easy, but for those who are not, it is possible to go with a few breaks along the way. The trail has two viewpoints, and the view from up there is very beautiful. When you get to the beach, on the right there is a freshwater river that flows into the sea, the water is very clean and cold. The sea is very strong, so it is best not to risk going in, just admire the view. Take your trash with you, as there is no collection or trash cans on the beach.
