It was sooo delicious! The food was made with fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The coffee was also great. The server was knowledgeable about their menu and had great suggestions. This will be a restaurant i will visit again next time we vacation

We loved our brunch at Del Cielo!!! The environment is outdoor airy and all the staff carry an enthusiastic smile. They were very eager to take care of all our requests. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and I got a caramel cappuccino that was perfect. I also got the eggs Benedict that were on top of a crispy hash brown instead of any kind of bread at that was a brilliant combo. The açaí was mixed with coconut yogurt had great taste to it. The environment was so inviting we stayed a bit and talked after we were done eating. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Tulum Centro! Went here 3 times in a week. Lovely atmosphere, food is so fresh and plentiful, staff is so friendly. My husband and I tried so many things and loved them all! Highlights include: -Super Bowl -Tropical smoothie - Chilaquiles -Huevos Rancheros -Breakfast combo (the tomatoes are so good I spooned them into my mouth lol)

I really love this cafe. When in Tulum, we come there quite often for breakfast. Unusual, large, delicious portions of food. I especially like combos. Friendly staff. Everything is wonderful.

Grossest food I’ve eaten 🤢 . The coffee was bad (sour milk), the yogurt tasted like something foul was in it, and the chilaquiles were horrible, the taste was like watery tomatoes, in addition this was fresh out of the kitchen all of the chips were soggy 🌧️ ! How does that happen? The staff is nice, and the atmosphere is good, but my oh my the food was so bad. I think a lot of ingredients were expired. I’ve eaten all over the world and had some bad food, but this was so bad me and my wife didn’t even eat more than a few nibbles and left.

21/07/2025 Such a popular cafe!✨ I arrived before noon, but by lunchtime it was nearly full with lots of people coming in🕛🌞 I ordered the breakfast menu MX$160and added salmon MX$70 ☀️ You can choose between fried eggs or scrambled eggs 🍳I went with scrambled, and it was the right choice 🙂😋💜 It came with sauce, but the avocado, salmon, and eggs were already full of flavor, so I enjoyed it as it was⭐️ The bread was soft and easy to eat I really liked the texture, kind of like French bread🥖✨ The atmosphere was very relaxing, perfect for taking it easy 🍽️ Definitely check out their Instagram! 📱💖 ✨ @delcielo_bistrotropical✨ Gracias 🙂

Very solid spot to come for a brunch with friends or to write some emails. The food is healthy enough and tasty enough and the prices are very fair for the quality. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would be great if they had more comfy chairs or cushions for relaxing in the garden area, but overall, it's a decent spot to chill if you are staying the neighborhood.

Finally got the chance to check this place out! I’d heard lots of good things about it. Unfortunately, I only stopped in for a small snack, we ordered a botanical smoothie and tea. The smoothie was delicious and really well made. I’m giving it 4 stars only because there are a few other spots in Tulum I personally like a bit more, but everything here was very good and I have no complaints. I really enjoyed the smoothie, and I noticed other people’s breakfast dishes looked amazing too. Overall, I totally recommend this place. The prices are very reasonable for the Tulum area!

We ate here every single morning during our 5 days in Tulum, and it honestly became one of the highlights of our trip. The food is incredible — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. My boyfriend and I each ordered our own breakfast and then shared a third dish every day because we couldn’t resist trying something new. Everything we had was delicious! The coffee and drinks were amazing too, and the owner and staff were so kind and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about what they do. We can’t rave about this place enough — if you’re in Tulum, don’t miss it!

I enjoyed this restaurant so much. The live music while getting to enjoy the outdoor scenery was a nice touch. The food was fresh. My pancakes were so amazing. I loved that I could add my toppings with the fresh juice and fruit.

We loved it here!! Lizeth was so nice and she made amazing açaí bowls! The matcha was also really good and I’m very picky about matcha. The place is so cute and right in town lovely atmosphere! Would definitely come back :)

I have enjoyed açai and smoothie bowls in over 50 countries, so I have a good sense of what makes a great one. I decided to visit this place after seeing it on social media, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The smoothie bowl was quite disappointing: it was small, tasteless, and still had ice chunks in it, suggesting it wasn't freshly made. However, the staff were very friendly, which was a positive aspect of my visit. I hope the café can improve the freshness and flavour of their bowls in the future. For now, I would recommend trying other places in the area. Furthermore the coffee was also very bad !

Amazing place with the best smoothie bowls in town. They have a lot of swings in the sun - what better way is there to enjoy your favorite smoothie bowl! And don’t be fooled by the portion size, it looks way smaller than it actually is. We’ve been here several time during our vacation and loved it every single time.

Cute little shop for smoothie bowls 🥭 The place has a very nice and large seating area, the swings in the front are very cute to take pictures at! My friend and I both order Mango Tango smoothie bowls, it was tasty and I was surprised it came in disposable bowls vs. coconut bowl for extra aesthetic. I was also shocked the girl asked for a tip even though it was all self served. 4 stars as the bowl was pretty expensive for what you get.

Take a long cold shower before you go to this restaurant. Go in shorts, sandals and a muscle shirt. Very hot in this place but the fans do help some... Food is great. Very tasty. Good prices. Might be the best place in town. Even tourist go to this restaurant. Chilaquiles are deli deli!! Had to tell the lady that sits the people down that there were unoccupied tables because it seemed like she didn't see them. No biggie though.

We really enjoyed our visit to Taquería Honoria. Our hotel recommended that we visit and we are so glad we did. The food was delicious and it was great to try so many different tacos. We’d been reading reviews about how good a crisp Mexican Coca Cola could be, so we chose two of those to complement our meal. One of the highlights was the beef torta, so flavourful and tender. We finished off with the flan which was great. We also really enjoyed being able to watch the staff assemble the tacos.

Must try local place. The food is tasty and inexpensive. We had the chilaquiles with chicken and eggs and a latte and it was scrumptious. We also got super lucky and got seated right away, but plan on waiting around 15-20 minutes. Definitely a must try!

Great food and packed with locals as well as some tourists. They had a variety of meats that were available in various forms (taco, salbute, torta, quesadilla) or served as a plate with tortillas. There is also a vegetarian options. I ended up getting a taco and a quesadilla. Both were delicious. Was just the right amount of food for me with no leftovers. Food comes out quickly. Place is cash only, but it's very affordable.

AtlasAdventured recommends eating here for budget friendly travelers and visitors to the area. Definitely one of the more popular and written avout restaurants in Tulum. Seems like every Tulum Food Guide had this place on their list. It was good and had great prices. Very hectic and hot when its full but that's most places in Tulum. Overall a good experience and worth trying. Cochinita Pibil Torta would've been better with some veggies or additions other than meat and bread but the meat was really good. High turnover is usually a good sign for safe meat consumption here. We had been reluctant to try low cost pork since we read some horror stories. But it was good and we enjoyed eating here. Get here early because it gets really busy around lunch time.

I’d heard a lot about this place but never had the chance to try it until now! In most reviews, it’s ranked in the top 2 spots for best burritos in Tulum, and after my visit, I can see why. The vibe is cozy and relaxed, kind of like a beach-style restaurant, nothing too fancy, but it feels warm, homey, and down to earth. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and take the time to explain the dishes really well. We ordered the ribeye burrito, shrimp aguachile, and guacamole. The guacamole was fresh but pretty average,good, but nothing special. The burrito, though, was excellent, definitely above average! It’s wrapped in banana leaves, which gives it a tender texture and a unique flavor. I really enjoyed it, and it makes sense why this burrito is always ranked among the best in Tulum. But the star for me was the shrimp aguachile. It’s a cold dish that’s spicy, tangy, and refreshing, like a perfect balance of the sea and fresh greens. Absolutely delicious!

So delicious! Burritos tasted fresh and seasoned so well. The Guac was amazing and I loved my mojito cocktail. Perfect way for us to kickoff our trip to Tulum! Service was quick and accommodating. We were a larger group but were seated immediately.

The restaurant was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The menu had loads of options for everyone - gluten free, vegan, vegetarian etc. The food came quickly and the burritos were presented beautifully. The fish burrito was delicious with lots of flavour and filling. The prices were a bit on the expensive side but tulum is not that affordable in general compared to other parts of Mexico due to mass tourism. Would recommend this place :)

I had my breakfast there surrounded by chill cats and plants, such a vibe. It’s a great café right on the main road next to Jungle Gym, with plenty of seating and a super friendly server.

The best coffee shop in Tulum hands down!! Along side their coffee they have a fabulous breakfast and lunch menu!! The cats are extremely friendly and love being around us! We went out of our way and purchased these cats some new food bowls, more food and plenty of toys to keep them busy!! I highly recommend this place!

A fantastic place for chill vibes and delicious breakfast! The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and we ate here almost every morning the week we came to Tulum. Easy access to the colectivo, too, so a great choice if you're staying near La Veleta. Way WAY cheaper than the hotel we booked, and much more delicious. The French toast tasted like a fresh apple pie!

You can't go wrong here! They are a bit off the,main part of the street but worth it. Coffee is amazing and they serve great food. Staff is super nice, shout out to Emil. They have cats roaming the garden area, they ignore you unless you initiate contact. The dining area is covered, so it's fine in the rain. Credit cards are accepted.

Cute place. Servers were very nice. What wasn’t that great is I spend 1hr 45min on a small breakfast and coffee. Kitchen was very slow and it took forever. Also, my cortado came already sweetened which is strange.

Lovely little place near where we stayed! The food was absolutely amazing, the juices were fabulous, there were lots of choices, the staff was always nice and welcoming! This place is quite busy all the time. it just shows how good it is! The mosquitos and flies are an issue, but they even provide spray, so that's great! I just wish they had an inside sitting area! Wifi is free too, we came here everyday so I definitely would recommend and if I ever come back I'll be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ( there's homeless dogs about if you have a heart please buy them a dog food from 7-11 it's about 16pessos& fresh water, they are doing there best!)

Another place I loved in Tulum. The freshest of food, well prepared and flavorful, so fresh. The outside dining is perfect. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I'm keeping this place in the rotation for places to go the next time I come back!

I love the croissants here I haven’t tried any better bakery and gelato in Tulum , the food is fulfilling, I recommend hazelnut chocolate gelato, and my favorite thing is that they treat dogs from costumers and strays so good 🐕❤️

Discovered this hidden gem while on a 5 day trip in Tulum. We loved the food and service so much we visited THREE times. Castile and Erik were our waiters and they were the absolute sweetest. Now that I’m back home, I’m sad I can’t have their Cocada drink, Susy’s Chicken sandwich and their Banana waffle. If I visit Tulum again I definitely will return! Highly recommend!!

We went there for a coffee and dessert. This place is great and the staff is awesome. They always opened the door for us - they are fast and friendly. Their English is great! The quality of the coffee was great and the desserts were delicious. Pricing is also ok - for this area great!

This is the first review I’ve written in six years—and it’s for the same restaurant that amazed me back then. The first time I came here with my dad, we were drawn in by the owner’s piano playing and singing. From there, it was one surprise after another: perfectly grilled shrimp that’s crispy on the outside and tender inside, and hands down the best pasta I’ve had anywhere in the world—along with so many other delicious dishes. The most incredible part? After six years, coming back felt like nothing had changed. The flavors are just as amazing (though I did notice the pasta no longer has the touch of lemon). I can’t recommend this place highly enough. While staying in Tulum, I came here every single day. It practically became my company cafeteria!

The location is ideal for eating on the strip. Don’t be fooled by the crowds. Not sure if they pay for the reviews. The food was horrible. The eggs tasted and looked horrible. The service was ridiculously horrible. Asked for a coffee, took almost as long as the food to come out. By the time the waiter came back for the milk it was cold. The fries were fried in an oil that needed to be replaced. Tasted like pure grease.

Recently visit it and I was shocked. I traveled for several states within USA prior to my arrival to Tulum. This used to be a great place to eat, though the prices I saw were quite excessive. Prices higher than in many States in USA. And the serving portion were just standard to Mexico reference point.

A nice place. The food was good and the atmosphere was very local and nice. HOWEVER, we were two couples out for breakfast. They added their tip to the bill then only showed the total of the bill so we could leave an additional tip based on the total. After the waiter realized we were not happy with this illegal trick his attitude changed drastically. Very disappointing because we liked the place.

We came here after a tiring day of roaming around Tulum city and the ruins. It was really great to taste the authentic Mexican dishes. We sat outside and the weather was great. They give a big bowl of chips and salsa on the house so if you are planning on ordering chips/nachos you can avoid that. The waiter was really friendly. Usually waiters stand outside and call me tourists to try their food which is kinda unnecessary but none if that happened with us at this place. We checked out the menu first and then decided to eat here. We were seated right away and the service was quick too. If you are in Tulum definitely check out this place.

Local restaurant with a eclectic menu comprising of classic Mexican and some more local variations. Very good complimentary set is given to every order, which is of course good. We had fish in garlic (which was very average in taste), beef burrito (very good, recommended) and guacamole (decent, yet bit small). Drinks were good too (and of very decent size). On a downside, prices are steep (extra side dish consisting of rice costs 70 MXN, no comments), there’s service charge imposed on final bill, which I haven’t seen being advertised in the menu.

One of the few places in Tulum that had really high Google reviews but didn't live up to the high ratings. Probably just our experience and hopefully a one off. We wanted to sit inside since it was so hot but server sat us outside and acted like he didn't speak english or understand our spanish which would be fine but only a couple tables inside we're taken so maybe he just needed some tables and was only serving outside. The flies and mosquitos were extra aggressive the day we went so that probably led to our less than stellar experience as well. Food was decent, breakfast bagel was fresh but lacked flavor, chilaquiles were good but definitely not great compared to other restaurant Chilaquiles in Tulum. Overall, its worth giving a shot since it does have great reviews and we would like to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was just an off day. The trampoline was a highlight for our 5 year old daughter and she always wanted to come back so she could jump on trampoline. Good restaurant for Families with little ones.

I have been lucky to have Fit-a-licious as a neighborhood-restaurant, and I have for sure taken advantage of it. I have tried a lot of their dishes and I’ve enjoyed it all. The restaurant is open and beautiful. Their staff is amazing and I love visiting.

Absolutely LOVED this place. Went for breakfast, got the waka toast. Then came back for lunch and got the fish tacos. Both were very healthy and flavorful. Service was also great, fast and servers were very friendly.

Everything was sooooo good. Accommodating to many dietary restriction. French toast, veggie omelette, breakfast wrap and huevos rancheros were delicious. There are also sooooo many options. I would come back for sure.

This cafe/restaurant lives up to its name, with lots of healthy options, and offers some things gluten-free. I had the pancakes with berries, a fried egg, and an iced matcha latte. All of them were delicious. I also appreciated the peaceful surroundings with lovely plants all around; it is a relaxing place to have breakfast or lunch.

We had the pleasure of stopping here for breakfast, the food was excellent and the right portion. I can’t comment on the pricing since everyone’s budget is different but I will say it was reasonable. There were cats here so be aware if you have a cat allergy. It’s a hidden gem, a hole in a wall type of a place but we were amazed by the quality of the food. Stop by here is a must for any traveler.

Amazing food for moderate prices! Matcha Frappe, Iced Horchata Latte, Avocado/Scrambled Egg Sandwich and the Ham/Cheese/Avocado Sandwich were very tasty and full of flavour. Also very nice and quick service. Would recommend!

This is hands down my favorite breakfast place in all of Tulum! And such fair prices! Carlos is a great server and always so helpful and informative. I recommend getting there early as they are small and have a limit on the amount of food they have each day. The latte miel and hotcakes naturales had me visiting weekly if not more. This place is great but be aware this place requires patience. But hey, good things take time!

This place is super cute with great service! It had the best pancakes I have ever had and amazing coffee with almond milk and soy milk options. A hidden gem in Tulum!

Went there for breakfast. It's got lots of plants in the back and fans to help with the heat outside. The server was very nice, even used our phone to translate things for us so we could order correctly. I got a dirty chai latte with almond milk - iced, half sweet and the pancakes. A very sweet and satisfying meal. My partner got the honey latte iced, also half sweet, and avocado toast. He seemed to think the toast was a little bland but good nonetheless. The bathroom is in the back, smells a bit and the drain from the sink leaks when you wash your hands in it. I thought the service speed was good, but it was just the two of us in the restaurant. A giant group of eight came right after us and the server was kind enough to let them know that food for that many people was going to take longer so they went elsewhere. Not sure I'll be back here but decent overall.

This place is amazing!! It's so adorable and you must check the patio, instaworthy. If you are visiting definitely a must! We literally tried everything (pancakes, fruit bowl, yogurt, bacon, eggs) and it was all fantastic! The owner was so gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend this as a brunch/coffee spot. I live to stop by Potheads when I am in Tulum. Usually I go to the beach location but wanted to check out their town spot. Everything was great as always, vibes are on point. Food is fresh and delicious and everyone there is super kind and helpful! Their chilaquiles are my go to! Definitely recommend adding this to you list of places to try

To start, the food is very good, we ate there for breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both. For the price, you get good portions. The drinks are great too. The manager Elli is incredible, I had a great conversation with him. He informed us of places to visit and when to avoid the expense price tags and the big crowds. Overall the experience was great and the music is good just to top it off.

Potheads in Tulum is an absolute gem! We came here for breakfast and loved everything about it — the laid-back vibe, friendly staff, and, most importantly, the amazing food. The food is great but this time I only ordered two margaritas, they came in a scotch glass, very small . $30 , everything down on the strip is just way over priced. Twice as expensive as the States , I would of given them 5 stars if they didn't charge $15 dollars for a regular margarita .

I had Egg Benedict for breakfast and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable too for the quality. Cappuccino was 65 pesos and egg Benedict was 220 pesos. I could also pay by card. The best thing here for me was the top service that i got from Piatrice, she’s awesome, nice, friendly, smiling and super fast, she made my breakfast a great experience. I highly recommend it and i will have my breakfast and coffee here everyday while I’m in Tulum. Update: i came for the second day and had cappuccino 65 pesos and I omelette 170 pesos and it was also so delicious. This is my favorite coffee and breakfast spot in Tulum and again Piatrice was awesome and gave me top notch service 🩷

Simply my favourite place in Tulum. The couple who owns it remembers me every time i go there. It’s like if I’m dropping into a friends place for an amazing experience. The granola is all fresh and home made. The frappes are to die for. Tulum latte! Yum! Chocolate smoothie? Can’t beat that.

Really cute small coffee place into loom we went at 7 AM in the morning to get a coffee before going on an excursion and a barista was very helpful. We also bought their coffee to take it home because it seemed very genuine and local. The only food available from 7-9 AM are some croissants and baked goods, which we didn’t know. We thought they had the full menu available since 7 AM because it’s not written anywhere we could find.

Love this place! I was here once before a year ago and now coming back this year it’s even better! It seems like they may have updated / improved their patio area? But I’m not sure. First of all I want to highlight that I especially love this place because unlike almost everywhere else in tulum these days, it’s actually a good price!!! Thank you!!!! Second of all, the patio atmosphere is great! It’s beautiful, good energy, always busy, good people watching and today they had a man playing the flute with music and it was so serene. I ordered the Continental breakfast (which is amazing value) and it’s 150 MX & you can choose different options but I had - orange juice - cappuccinos - banana bread - fruit & yogurt bowl It felt so nice to finally enjoy a cute, yummy and AFFORDABLE breakfast for once. Honestly, I will give them my business more than other places I like here, strictly out of principle of the cost. Highly recommend!

I go here 2-3 a week for 2 years! I live in Tulum long- term & this is one of my favorite spots. Delicious Coffee, love the croissants & homemade marmalade 👏 The bread is from a local provider /baker . I love the avocado toast 🤩, the French toast 😍and all the fresh smoothies 👍I really like the salmon sandwich too. 🧡 they have more traditional Mexican dishes too with a healthy twist.

We had delicious sweet lattes with coconut cream and a croissant. The location is easy to find. Service is friendly and attentive.

A very cute cafe, cute enough that we can twice on our trip, opting to skip out on breakfast at the hotel to go someplace nicer (and more affordable). The vibe is relaxed, with jazz music on audio, eclectic decor, and a tv puts the menu on display. It kind of reminded me of the vibe of Korean bakeries, elegant. Food was great (and notably, worth the price). We had chilaquiles rojo on day one and verde on day two. A cinnamon roll (the honey inside was a nice touch). A lot of restaurants in tulum have good/great food, but most of them from my experience are overpriced. This option is slightly more affordable, and worth the price. Check this one out.

Cafe had a very cute vibe. We came here off of other reviews we read and so glad we did. Food is excellent. We had the fresh green juice, Mayan honey latte, Mexican toast and breakfast sandwich. Has some cool spots for pics on the patio.

This was the best breakfast place we found in Tulum. So I definitely recommend it. They have amazing fresh juices, the chia seeds lemonade is awesome. My absolute favorite was the avocado toast with poached eggs that had a little pot sauce. Drizzle on top. And oh my God, the pancakes were incredible. So,definitely go here if you’re looking for an amazing breakfast.

I ate at Aroma twice while in Tulum. I got the French toast, the potatoes, eggs, Mayan honey vanilla latte (tried it both hot and iced) and the Serrano ham toast (subbed the ham for tomato). I enjoyed it all. Loved the service and the food ♥️

Very cute place ideally for breakfast or brunch. We heard good things about their sourdough so after our breakfast and coffee we asked for a loaf of it with a side of butter. Sit outside.

Want a lite breakfast in the morning, this your place. Oh, and the juice...grab all of them. I love beet juice, and they freshly made a batch in 30 minutes while I was eating breakfast. Please do not leave without trying the juice, and one of the delightful pastries.

Were there for lunch, which was perhaps a mistake as it seems more of a breakfast place : pizza slices are basically leftover, the foccacia was a bit tough, the cheesecake we ended up sending back due to strange taste (waiter said it was due to almond flour, but to us it tasted like product that had been in the pantry for many years...) but they kindly replaced with another different desert.

The fanciest and most delicious desserts! So intricate and flavourful. The bread!!! Like Europe and a taste of the real best bread in Tulum. Staff are so well capacitated and present, very professional. The homemade Kim chi is my favourite gingery fermented jar to take away. So many treasures with so much heart. Every time we visit Italdo, we know we're at the best place in the Riviera Maya. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and welcoming - the aroma of freshly baked bread and coffee fills the air and lifts your mood. The quality of the product is outstanding made with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The croissant are simply irresistible - from that classic to the pain au chocolat, from the almond to the baba - all freshly baked every day. Whether you go for a sweet or savory breakfast, for lunch or brunch you can never go wrong. A place where you can have a genuine hospitality. Italdo is simply a must!

The service is courteous and I appreciated that. Both times I stopped by, I had my coffee prepared how I like it and the taste was wonderful. I also had two different snacks, a peanut butter cookie and a Madeline. Both nice. The seating isn't so great - it's either inside at a little bar facing the wall or outside on a patio by the street with all the heat/humidity. The bathroom was appalling and I was shocked at how run down and dirty it was. That needs to improve.

Update 2025: Unbelievably pushy sales tactics when we attempted to buy a few pastries. The restaurant is highly focused on full meal sit-down orders and actively discouraging to-go small orders with repetitive aggressive sales tactics. Yet another former gem of “Old Tulum 2021” overshadowed by new, customer service focused restaurants eg Nimeno x4. Sad. Rating reduced and won’t return soon. Fantastic cafe with an Italian flair. Delicious pastries for dining or take out and high end breads. Highly recommended.

Batey was the place where we hung out almost every evening during our Tulum vacation. They have a good selection of local food and beverages that mostly come with their signature sugar cane wedge. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart for those who are looking for a place to cool down and chill out during the day and want to get a sense of the local nightlife during evening. We wanted to avoid loud techno parties but still wanted to have some fun and Batey was exactly that sweetspot. Every evening there is live music, both local vibes and international covers. One evening there was a flamenco band boh playing and dancing! A few times there were some guys jamming some local rhythms during the day. The service was awesome 👌 everyone always smiling and ready to crack a joke. During the earlier hours there were some people working with laptops too, so I presume that it's a good place for it. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

If they hadn’t tried to scam us I would give this place five stars. It is a really fun great atmosphere with live music and the food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced. The problem was that when the bill came they had added up the total to almost double what we had. And when we addressed it, they clearly knew they had done it and didn’t even apologise. This happened to us in a few places in tulum where totals weren’t added up correctly, but this time was ridiculous - trying to charge us 1540 for an 890 bill!!!

Excellente tacos and the Guarapo's were amazingly delicious all the way down to the sugar cane. Very reasonable prices and quality service.

We came to Batey 3 times during our week long stay and as a couple/group of foodies from NYC, that says a lot about the quality ! Very fresh, very authentic and very affordable (just was a nice change of pace in comparison to the restaurants/bars/clubs that are closer to the beach strip!) I’m honestly not a big fan of mojitos but I was convinced to try one and ended up having 3! That fresh sugar cane added such a nice touch to the flavor profile! The shrimp tacos were literally amazing, I swear I could’ve ate them everyday and been satisfied! The live entertainment was cool and added an interest level to keep our table engaged and ultimately there longer. On our last day as we were headed to the airport, we stopped in for a quick lunch where I got a Michelada and MAN! Top notch, definitely was a great way to end our vacation. 10/10 highly recommend!

Holistika Tulum is a spiritual place, carefully built in the middle of the jungle. As guests, we felt the attention to detail in every little detail. Location The place has a relaxed and mystical feel. It was built in the middle of the jungle and offers everything you need, from accommodations, a pool, a restaurant, a shop, retreat rooms, a pottery workshop, and much more. The grounds are smoked every morning and evening, creating a pleasant aroma. Staff The entire staff is super friendly and authentic. Everyone is very accommodating and has a calm and relaxed demeanor. Restaurant The food is delicious and vegan. Here you can enjoy nutritious, light yet very filling meals. Retreats You can have a look on my added pictures for the whole program. The program in the Holistika changes depending on the people who are carrying it out. It can therefore vary completely from the status I photographed and provided in the photos. It's best to check the Holistika website online, where the programs are up-to-date. At our present time 06/2025 there was a huge variety from yoga classes to many ceremonies such as cacao ceremonies, breathwork, sound healing, Thermascal, etc., this place offers a unique wide spectrum. We celebrated the fact that one place combined everything. All in all, an absolute must do for anyone who wants to stay fit and active and enjoys being surrounded by like-minded people. Simply a great place with good vibes where people enjoy being.

Second time at Holistika its such a beautiful healing place, big rooms, big beds, beautiful view of the trees and jungle, just beautiful everywhere you look. It has a real magical, positive feel surrounded by the jungle and art works everywhere.. it is a mind, body experience of pure bliss! The vegan restaurant is delicious, I’m not vegan but everything on the menu is totally divine! Diego at the front desk was super helpful and kind, all of the staff actually, everyone accommodating everyone in such a kind, honest, polite manner! I would say the rooms could do with a small refresh paint job, looking slightly tired. Totally recommend!

I enjoyed my stay at Holistika - the staff in particular were amazing. I loved all of them. The setting was so lovely and unique too. The gluten free menu at the restaurant is a bit limited, I wish they had more things I could eat. But what I had was good. It was a bit further than I expected from other areas, which was partly why I picked it - for the quiet, but I still anticipated it being more walkable than it was. I did end up renting a scooter to get around. The art walk was so interesting and lovely - Id love to see a way to learn more about the artists though.

Huge, beautiful yet minimalist rooms. Variety of wellness offerings and excellent reception staff. Especially Nanuel! I've stayed across 4 goals now and the service stood out! It's far from town center (up to 30min walk over way) but I loved being immersed into the jungle environment to slow down. I disappointed by the food quality at the restaurant, didn't live up to other reviews. Maybe what we have in Australia is quite a high bar already. Smoothies were tasty though. Service by one make was excellent but most of the girls seems very uninterested. Overall enjoyed my stay

I was here in 2019 when the hostel was around $10 a night. Loved the yoga atmosphere, including in the mixed dorm. The two Olympic-length pools were great for me as a swimmer that likes cooler temps. I dream of this place being a water-therapy center, but temps would likely have to be increased. Loved the round sound room. The taxis in Tulum are questionable. The wonderful front desk person noticed the scheduled taxi wasn’t going to arrive on-time and panic drove me in their own car to the bus station. I arrived just in time. Of course, tip em good.

This was exactly what I needed to unwind. The serene environment, beautiful setting and amazing food made for an incredible experience. I was only expecting to stay a day but enjoyed it so much that I went back for another day a few days later. They thought of everything!

We attended yoga classes at Holistika and had the best experience! Our instructors were Kat, Noelia, and Leo, all fantastic!! The yoga shalas are beautiful and the entire property is full of love and intention. We can’t wait to come back to Tulum and visit Holistika again!! 💙🙏🕉️

We had breakfast at Café Babel this morning and absolutely loved it. This is one of those hidden gems that more people need to know about! The service was spectacular — the two ladies working were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. My wife ordered the chilaquiles rojos, and I went with the huevos motuleños on the recommendation of our waitress, who explained it’s a beloved dish here on the Yucatán Peninsula. She was right — it did not disappoint! Everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented. We also had cold brew coffee with caramel, which was smooth, refreshing, and the perfect complement to our meals. What really stood out was the atmosphere, the affordable prices, and the high quality of the food. Café Babel gets a solid five stars from us. We’ll definitely be back!

Great visit here! Staff were friendly and accommodating. The order was prepared quickly, also was absolutely delicious (salmon bagel). Waffle was perfectly made with just the right level of crispness. Coffee was strong and delicious. Also happened to catch a live performance outside the restaurant. Beautiful vibe!

Very good welcome. The waffles are super good, they taste like cake or four quarters. Shrimp tempura tacos are one of their specialties and we understand why after tasting them. I highly recommend testing them as well as the waffles! Thank you to the whole Babel cafe team!

Nice little restaurant in downtown Tulum. I ordered the portobello burger. My wife ordered the beef burrito, both were excellent and it's cheap too. One of the best meal we have in Mexico.

My friend and I got off an ADO bus at 9 am and needed someplace to hunker down and work while we waited to check in at our lodging. Babel came in clutch (only a couple mins walk away) with food for breakfast AND lunch (we stayed for 6 hours). Staff was very nice and attentive and the food was great. Prices reasonable for the area and a comfortable place to hang out and work. Glad to have found it!!

Food: ordered smoked salmon bagel, orange juice and scrambled eggs. Orange juice was a little bland than other ones I’ve had. They’ve brought our food but no utensils, had to ask them to bring some. Bagel was tasty and eggs were fluffy. Service: slow service, they don’t have enough staff but the waiters are friendly and they’re doing the best, they have about 3 waiters, it does get quite busy. Wifi: pretty good, no issues so far. But oddly some site or apps it doesn’t work on …

Waiter was so friendly. The food was healthy (much needed after eating so much greasy food from this trip). The restaurant was clean and the vibe was very relaxing. We ordered an orange juice, caramel latte, and a white chocolate Frappuccino. The caramel latte was yummy and I think I was given the wrong Frappuccino since it tasted more like a mocha but it was still good. For food we ordered a breakfast burrito and a bagel with avocado, tomato and cream cheese. Both were good - maybe not amazing - but good.

We are not vegan and we do not strive vegan food, but we liked good tasting food and Suculenta delivered on good. The juice drinks were above average, the salad had a really combo of nuts and dried fruits. I thought I would like tamales but it’s a little too « corny » for my taste (but still well done by the chef). The real standout are the mushroom tacos with homemade tortillas, you could just for that dish and be happy. Service was friendly and discreet, sit at the outdoor patio in the back. Beautiful spot with an older man cooking in the back on a makeshift home kitchen. Small menu with creative Mexican flavors. Wait time can be long for some of the items as it’s made fresh to order. They have a nice backyard in the back with a few cats roaming around and music playing.

Incredible authentic vegan Mexican food! The tamales were out of this world, especially the mole and Mayan tamales. The service was excellent and owner is super nice! Highly recommend. There are also 3 total vegan restaurants on this street.

Exceptional host with an all vegan menu. Really makes you enjoy the authentic mexican dishes while teaching you the right way to savour them. The cold chocolate was a disappointment. However everything else was brilliant. Left feeling very full and happy. The backyard seating is also a great cozy setup for a nice slow leisurely meal.

Very good flavor, very local , and the service it’s great. The tamales are very delicious and also the drinks!, give it a try!!! (I am Mexican and I certify that it has Mexican plates, they made a great job making all this flavors in a vegan diet) , it does not have tourist trap prices, which I really appreciate.

Amazing oyster mushroom tacos, with bit of lime and their homemade matcha salsa!! The best. Tasty free. Juice, fresh and delicious. Had to order another set of tacos even though we were full because they were sooo good. Had a flavorful lentil tamale, and the pazole. Lotta great food.

We absolutely love this place! We come here regularly and it’s always a top experience. The food is delicious, the staff is super friendly and the outdoor seating on the terrace is the best – surrounded by greenery, so it never feels too hot. Definitely one of the best spots in Tulum. Service was great. Server came offered to give me great recommendations of things to do during my stay. Food was great. Detox green juice I got was fresh. The don tomas sandiwich was good. But those salted potatoes really stole the show. They were seasoned perfectly and crispy on the outside but soft and creamy and buttery on the inside I'd go back just for those.

Great food. Our waiter Margareto was very inviting and attentive. We ordered the flank steak omelette, German shooter, a fruit plate, and coffee. The flank steak omelette could be addictive. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. Definitely coming back!

Absolutely worth visiting for their very good breakfasts and croissants, the best we had so far in Mexico. Menu is very extensive, selection of pastry is very decent, service staff is friendly and accommodating. There are indoor (with fully blowing air conditioning) and outdoor seats available. Prices are reasonable as well.

Excellent service, tasty food, and reasonable prices. We got a “pick your own” egg plate with chorizo, chaya, and tomato with potatoes and corn tortillas on the side. (They accommodated my allergies to onion and gluten without hesitation.) The second plate was Arroz a la Cubana. Both were very tasty! After our meal, they let us work on our laptops using their free WiFi and we never felt like they were rushing us to leave. It isn’t the fastest internet ever, but we had no problem loading webpages and downloading some files. We’ll be back again.

A cozy cafe with great drinks and hosts. We spent a rainy day in their library room. The resident cat tolerates humans and sleeps a lot. They have a 2 for 1 drink deal (must be same drink) and lots of food and coffee options. We enjoyed our stay in this hidden cafe filled with books and charm.

The space oozes character with its collection of used books and cozy charm, plus they offer fantastic entertainment. After checking out all the other coworking options in town - overpriced spaces with mediocre food and no atmosphere, or basically just bars masquerading as workspaces - this place stands in a league of its own. It’s the kind of spot that makes you wish you could pack it up and take it home to Texas. A true gem that perfectly balances productivity with that laid-back Tulum vibe.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Cara Feliz quickly became one of my favorite spots. The avocado toast is the best I’ve ever had, I loved it so much I had to come back for more! Everything is made with top-quality ingredients, and the customer service is excellent. The coffee is solid, the desserts are delicious, and the air-conditioned space is both comfortable and welcoming, perfect for working or just relaxing. Highly recommend

The place is nice, but the service was disappointing. I waited more than an hour for a simple dish without any update, only after 60 minutes was I told there was a delay. They offered a drink on the house, which was a nice gesture, but it didn’t make up for the long wait. the atmosphere is pleasant but the service just doesn’t meet the standard expected from a cafe..

This place is horrible the property doesn’t have check in till 11 pm like it states. Receptionist gets there at 9 am to 3 pm. We ended up getting there at 9:30 pm no one was there. I called and message the number I was provided and no one ever answered. I would advise to call before booking you would see that they would never answer because I was calling to informed them we were not going to arrive at 3 pm for check in but we will be there at a later time and no ever answered we ended up staying in the car till the following morning and no one knew anything or where to complain. I we weren’t the only ones with this problem. The toilet seat was not attached, the towels were so old and see through, the sofa were dirty and it had cigarette burns. The sheets were stained and the mattress was dirty and it smelled like pee. The pool was very dirty and green. The house pans and pots were not in good condition to cook in.

If you like to make a reservation where the reservation is not respected and you ll get a msg from owners telling you, you re not worth it, then please book with them; cause that's what you'll get from them... Someone else was looking to reserve for several days, so our one day stay wasn't good enough for them and ask us to cancel our stay cause they wont let us go in. Best luck

I regret to inform you that my stay at Macondo Tulum was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite its beautiful facade, the experience was marred by abysmal service and appalling conditions. During our three-day stay, we endured the unimaginable inconvenience of having no water. Despite assurances of a full refund for the three nights, the hotel management failed to honor their commitment. Numerous attempts to follow up were met with disregard and delay, leaving us in limbo for months. Their proposed solution to the water crisis was absurd – suggesting we fetch water from the pool for basic necessities like showering and using the toilet. This lack of regard for basic hygiene and comfort is simply unacceptable. As we approach March, the promised refund remains elusive, casting doubt on the hotel's integrity and customer service. I am utterly disappointed by the lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by Macondo Tulum. One star is a generous rating given the horrendous experience we endured. To potential guests: beware of false promises and disregard for customer well-being at this hotel. The rooms look and are nice and the area of the hotel is good but they are nothing else as a group of false promises. Very sad 😞!

Great room in a very good location, Friendly staff and very Helpful

We landed here last minute one night after a not so great AirBnb experience. We were greeted warmly and they helped bring our bags up to the room. The pool is beautiful and our rooftop hotub is amazing. The construction noise during the day is pretty intense, but that's just Tulum in progress. We were hoping they would have water available for purchase, but went to the party store the next morning. Awesome stay for the price.

We have been staying here for 3 nights in Januar 2024. When we arrived at the site we already heard a very loud construction noise coming from the area next to the hotel. The whole place is a construction site because the macondo brand is building a new hotel. We didnt get any information in advance about the ongoing construction and noise. When we tried to talk to the manager because of a discount, he refused our request and was not willing to negotiate. The workers started everyday at around 8am and stopped around around 5 pm. We could not stay at the apartement nor the pool site because of the hammering noise of the excavater doing some quarry work. Please check the video in the attachement for some impressions. As you can see, the construction site is pretty new and the noise will sure be there for a long time. Be warned about that.

Beautiful and super quiet complex. The units are spacious and comfortable, the pool is beautiful and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. You have bike for free and it is pet friendly.

Delicious coffee but the food was average. I had eggs Florentine which uses chaya instead if spinach. It was okay but the feta cheese lacked flavor. My wife had Hobo eggs and those were good. Park in adjacent lot and bring parking ticket to get it stamped for half off

Very creative with the interior and the menu. Very good place for such a small town akumal. Good for vegetarian options too. Veg tacos could have been better.

The food is good. The drinks are great. The price is a little bit high but it's on the beach and less than other places. The key lime cheesecake and banana split are fantastic! The flat bread pizzas are worth it.

Eccentric and attractive little restaurant in Akumal. We stopped here first for dessert and had some great ice cream and then later came back for some amazing breakfast. The eggs Benedict was fantastic and the agua frescas are definitely a must grab

What a charming spot! We came here for my son’s birthday dinner as the menu has plenty of desserts listed. Our party tried the steak frites, enchiladas, salmon, and coconut shrimp. Everything was very tasty! We really loved the drinks as well, the pina colada was made to be flavorful but not overly sweet (my favorite). The best part was the service. Our server was so sweet to my son for his birthday! His favorite part was when they brought out the “tequila boom boom” birthday shot (which was sprite and cranberry juice) and had him take his “first shot” - he’s still talking about it days later. They also turned the fans off for the birthday candles and then immediately back on to keep us cool, just every thoughtful and kind. We had the chocolate toffee cake and then went back another day for the keylime cheesecake. Both delicious. The chocolate cake was a bit rich for me, but everyone else at the table loved it!

Food is great, atmosphere is wonderful, great place to watch sports. They can get anything there! Ruby is the best as well! Amazing service from her every time I go there!

Good geolocalisation; the only public restaurant access in that zone. Price is normal. Food taste & and service are good. Portion is normal. Direct Beachfront view with access to beach. In this zone beach Accès are difficult to find so need to access to restaurants or services to access the beach. People in the road in Akumal entrance was very annoying, they jumped in front of car for stop car and ask questions juste for sell them services.

The scene is lovely to just hang out with friends/family and munch on some good eats after swimming with the turtles. The portion sizes were really large, great for sharing, but we did not know that and ordered way more than we could eat. We really liked most of what we ordered. The ribs had a flavor I didn't love, but my kids enjoyed them and ate them up fine. None of us loved the pear gorgonzola pizza, but it was okay. I guess it would be great if you really like an extra strong dose of blue cheese, but I was expecting a more subtle blend of the flavors. The gorgonzola was quite ripe and really took over to the point of being too much. I think I would have liked it a lot better with feta. But at least I did like that the menu had some variety. The waiter was friendly, and I guess the service was a little slow as others have commented, but we weren't in a hurry, so it actually felt nice to just chill and not feel like the waiter was pushing us to hurry up and leave (like some restaurants make you feel). So it was great for relaxing.

What makes this place is its location. When you're overlooking the beach and having a few drinks, you're going to enjoy it to some degree. The drinks were fine and the only thing I'd ever order from here, however they are over priced. I would stay away from the food. We ordered some cheese quesadillas, which were very bland. The ribs tasted like some precooked frozen food that was reheated. But that was my mistake, I should never have ordered ribs in Mexico. The staff while polite were not friendly and they were slow. Really, just go for the drinks and view.

The location is perfect on the protective cove where you can waid out in the water without worryimg about large waves. The food and service a great and every day to have happy hour from 5:30 - 6:30

The turtles have made this town a lot of money. You can not access the beach on your own for free anymore, locked up. Option 1, pay 140 pesos at the northern gate. Option 2, eat something here for at least 200 pesos per person and you’re good to go. If you snorkel first and eat later they like you to pay 200/person first which will be later deducted from your food bill. Food itself, wafels were huge and 7/10. Fruit was 8/10, yogurt was a tiny tiny cup. Snorkelling was bad if you expect to see reef and fish. If you want to see a turtle you can, just have to stay in the first 20-30mtr before the buoys. After the buoys there are hundreds of people in groups of up to 12 chasing turtles with a ‘guide’. And the guides friends harass you on the beach.

Beach side view with a very nice breeze coming through which helps you stay cool. Very shaded. Restrooms were very clean. Waiters were very attentive and good was somewhat fast. I ordered a Philly cheese steak. It came with fries and a lemonade. The food was fresh however the food wasnt the greatest. The sandwich lacked flavor. They did serve it with beef broth to dip but it still lacked a depth of flavor. Wife ordered shrimp cocktail. She enjoyed it.

Visited April 2024 - Good beach side restaurant serving a mix of popular Mexican food and other more typical western style food. The food is tasty and cooked very well, the fish and beef burgers are big and filling and then chicken wings are a definite winner. The prices are a bit high for this type of food, but being on a very popular beach and very touristy, it is to be expected. The service was friendly but a bit slow at times and hard to get someone's attention, but overall very good service. I would recommend this place if you're looking for an easy place to relax with good food and drink without any stress.

This was our first spot in Tulum. We didn’t plan or search — we had just checked into our place and went out looking for somewhere to sit and eat. And it turned out to be a great choice. We had our first tacos here and some cold beer. The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming. The food was tasty, and the atmosphere was great.

Rumors around Tulum say this is the single best restaurant and you have to visit if you visit Tulum. And it’s true. The food, service en vibe are incredible. I would be able to eat here everyday. One downside; after eating here you won’t find many restaurants this good

Arrived at 8:45pm... Closing at 10.. kitchen closes in 15min! Ok... Still ordered, food was good 👍 service not and drinks not at all, capirinha was water! 9:30, removed our plates, 9:35 cleaning the tables with our drinks still on it, 9:40 bill!? Of course we didn't tip! 2* thanks to the food...

A ratchet-looking place with noisy surroundings but decent food and cute service. The cocktails were large and well-made with good balance of alcohol. The house shrimps were fresh and well flavoured but I would have expected a bit larger quantity for the price. American pancakes were very reasonably priced and rather authentic. Overall good experience.

It's literally a hole in the wall. As you walk down the street you'll see the window where the food comes out from and tables on the other side of the side walk. The food and drinks were amazing, definitely not what I was expecting. The tacos and burrito were filling and packed with authentic Mexican flavours. My only regret is that I only went once.

Food was yummy and I did not know the restaurant had its own parking. The staff was very friendly and the place was not overly busy. The food was fresh but took a while for it to come out. I waiting over 45 minutes for fish tacos which was the only item I ordered. Pineapple juice was fresh and the fish tacos were crunchy.

This place was overpriced and disappointing. The food looked aesthetically pleasing, but tasted disappointing and rubbery. I ordered the beef burrito, and unfortunately, it was awful. However, the mango smoothie bowl was decent.

Not a good place for tourist! Food was decent. We were charged a Euro price in case due to card reader being “down”. It added up to an extra $20 USD on our bill. Due to food only being okay and getting taken advantage of definitely wouldn’t not recommend to any U.S. customers unless you just have an abundance of pesos.

Fantastic food and excellent service!!! Great place to get a quick bite with super reasonable prices!!! We had chicken quesadillas and a couple varieties of tortas and both were great. Service was excellent and order was brought out quickly. Will definitely be eating here more often on our next trip to Akumal.

This little eatery was ok, the food was basic and the friendly waitress got about half our order wrong. Quesadillas were pretty tasteless and the Mexican style pork dish was sort of like a stir fried fajita. The food is certainly below par for the Yucatan. This is our favorite place between Tulum and Akumal to get a quick delicious lunch. We only made it once on this trip due to other activities at lunchtime, but as usual, it delivered the fast, tasty, hot food we have always received. And still reasonable prices considering the location right in the tourist center of Akumal. Don't miss out!

Great Mexican food at a very good price. Well worth a visit if your in the local area. Food arrives fast, hot and delicious. Only thing missing is it does not sell beers or have a lot of seating if your a big group. Chicken tacos and quesadillas with cheese and vegetables.

Akumalito is essentially unchanged since I first ate here in the winter of 1992. And it’s still my favorite spot in Akumal for a good breakfast and lunch!

Super small and cute luncheon place without the inflated prices from the beach, if you eat there they let you go into the beach without paying. She also has a key to the bathroom next door to the store. We all picked the milanesa torta which was very good and reasonably priced, and the Jamaica was really delicious as well Would come back again

We came here while waiting for our Airbnb across the street to be ready for check in. This was such a cute place and the vibes were so peaceful and inviting. We visit several times during our stay. Carmen was our waitress most times and she was always so nice! I also love the fact that they give you a complimentary wellness shot which was so refreshing especially with the summer heat and humidity.

Atlas Adventured recommends eating here! A cute little vegan spot right on the main street. They are setup with VW buses as the kitchen area and some swings. This is an outdoor seating area only but worth visiting if you're in the area. Food is fresh and prices are decent (for Tulum). Our 2 favorite items were the Iced Matcha Latte and the Acai Bowl. They do have items on the menu to appease us non-vegans like the BLT sandwich and the 'Better than a burger' burger. We appreciate their commitment to being Green and limiting their carbon footprint. They do charge 15 mxn for biodegradable packaging to combat single-use packaging.

Once I sat down, I realized I’d found something really special. The food was absolutely bursting with flavor. It perfectly captured the essence of Mexican cuisine, but with a unique vegan twist that felt both creative and authentic. I honestly wish I had taken more photos, but I was too excited to dig in! A huge shoutout to the amazing waitress who made the experience even better. She had red hair and was working that day super friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. I wish I remembered her name because she truly left a great impression. If you’re looking for flavorful vegan food with great service and a laid-back vibe, don’t miss this place. It’s a hidden gem that deserves way more attention!

Isaac is a passionate coffee enthusiast super helpful and always up for a lovely conversation. They have very delicious bakery products!!! Real chocolate croissant with chocolate NOT with Nutella!!!! Their coffee is delicious , I tried their baguette, it is also very good quality. And they have FRESH orange juice!!!! Not from bottle or can. And a big big extra: they open from 7:00am !!! I highly recommend this place!!!! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are next to the ADO bus on the high street.

I really loved this cute little French breakfast spot. The pastries are delicious and fresh and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. I particularly loved the croissant sandwich options and ordered it a couple of times. I had the omelette and sliced bread too, but that was just okay. With both indoor and outdoor seating area. It’s a nice spot to have breakfast and work and attend to other important things on your laptop.

Located on Kukulkan this restaurant/coffee shop is BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND REFRESHING. I went a Friday at 9:00am , it had a descent amount of people so we didn’t have to wait for a table. We sat outside because eventhough they don’t have fans the weather was amazing (October) I LOVE that they have COMBO OPTIONS, cause they include a coffee and or a juice at a great price if you wanna take care of your wallet ; we ordered: 1. Combo Mexicano with green sauce chicken and an extra of eggs… PORTIONS ARE HUGE! It included a coffee and a small juice which we made big for $20mxn 2. Combo Campesino Plus an omelette with ham, cheese a small salad that tastes amazing and it comes with a huge orange juice, a coffee and a sweet bread ( we ordered the almonds croissant) I have no complains of the food and service it was amazing, however I do have to say it is on the higher price end ( a bit expensive) but it’s worth it as portions are BIG, and the place is nice, relaxing and you can enjoy a nice conversation. Will come back 🩷

A great cafe with lots of sandwhich options and great coffee. We ordered the Banh Mi and Cuban sourdough sandwiches (I'd go with only Cuban or something else) and 2 drinks, latte and cold brew with caramel foam (highly recommend). There are merch and coffee beans and treats available for purchase, all reasonable prices. We enjoyed this cafe and the staff was friendly and food came out fast.

Terrible experience this morning with a server. From the minute we sat down this waiter rushed us and refused to speak to us after we placed our orders. Simply dropping the drink orders without a word. Once our food finally arrived, I realized there were nuts on my French toast (Which I am allergic to). I was about to explain that I had made a mistake and needed to reorder this plate without the nuts, he runs away to grab a menu before attempting to rudely explain to me that nuts are on the menu. Which I was aware of. My goal was to simply reorder without nuts and of course pay for the first plate but he takes the food away and drops the check. I’ve never been treated to terribly anywhere in the world. This employee was hostile and dismissive from the start. I wouldn’t recommend anyone eat here.

I stuck to the same breakfast every day during my stay, it was convenient and the coffee was solid. Just wish the service had been more consistent.

We are a family of 5 with 3 small kids. The food and drinks were so fresh which made me confident that my kids would eat well. It was very nice to stay at the hotel, on the beach and eat food from Olivia’s everyday. We didn’t need to leave for anything because someone was there to ask us if we needed anything else.

I absolutely LOVE Olivia Market. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. It’s a cool vibe with great music. The have swings you can sit on and tables in the sand. I eat here daily when I visit Tulum, it’s that good. The smoked chicken tacos are amazing!!!

Overall rating: 4.8 Visiting from NYC I stumbled on this place but it was hard to tell if it was open. There was a rope but I am glad I decided to jump it to see if it was open like Google said it was. The door was locked but there were people in and when I was about to head out the staff was able to catch me. It was a bit confusing to be honest. But my name is Olivia and I’ve been having a rough day, so it was needed. The staff was very friendly and they had so many fun smoothies. I think this is also a hotel or hostel because I saw a few people checking in. They also have a neighborhood dog and it’s so cute!! I recommend if you have the chance!

I had the best time here! Calletano and Rodrigo are both fantastic. The food is great and they had some great vegan options. Highly recommend spending the day at the beach here.

Olivia is part of Tulum‘s Hotelito Azul. They are an organic supermarket cum restaurant. What I loved most about Olivia‘s was about their commitment to the local community. I loved how the owner is so passionate about not only their organic commitment but also to their sustainable packaging of Their products. Olivia’s Organics products are sold in 100% recyclable packaging so you can put the container right back into the recycle stream once you’ve enjoyed what’s inside. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner many times as we were staying in the hotel. It’s a super chic and upscale restaurant with amazing vibes and good music. Staff is extremely friendly and goes beyond their ways to make you feel comfortable. You can either enjoy your meals dipping your toes in the sand or in one of their swings. I bought back some of their chocolates to Munich and they were delicious. Speaking to the owner I came to know how some of their things are directly supplied by the local community people and that to me is commendable. Food was really tasty and beautifully presented. If you are in Tulum, I highly recommend to come here and have breakfast or lunch.

Very cute restaurant - we ate on the rooftop which was great. A pool and a breeze is always a win. The prices were very good. The staff was friendly but the service was just decent. It took awhile to get our food & had to remind them of everything that we ordered. The chilaquiles and gallo pinto were great, the huevos rancheros & omelette were not good (according to the ones who ate it). My husband and I would definitely return to try out other items on the huge menu!

The juices are well overpriced for what you get. I asked if the fresh water comes in a 1 litre jug, which was answered with yes. Only to receive a 250ml cup with water mixed with a slice of cucumber and mint (my choice the ingredients). Paying $65 is ridiculous. To top it of they asked for a 15% service charge while providing zero service to the customer. How can you be this disillusional?

A bit like a big American coffee chain. Great if you are in the area and need a quick coffee, but we prefer other spots with a more local Tulum-y vibe if we want to sit and enjoy a coffee. My americano was super strong and bold, which I like 👍. I tried the iced latte but just not for me so can’t really rate it.

De Altos was fantastic! They offered the same coffee processed three ways - honey, washed, and natural. Couldn't find anywhere else in Tulum that focused on the ingredient of coffee as much as this spot and it showed! We got the honey process and yielded a pleasantly sweet espresso and a rich yet bright V60. Definitely would recommend!

A big disappointment!!! I had looked at the reviews and pictures. Seeing that they offered a big range of coffee, espresso based drinks, to not just V60 but also Chemex and Airopress… I thought I was in for a treat. We ordered cappuccino, and it hardly had a taste of coffee. Extremely mild.
I thought my girlfriend had ordered the larges size as I could see on the check after she payed that it was the most expensive cappuccino. However on the way out I could see that this had to do with the beans not size and these beans where not good recommended by them selfs for milk based drinks, yet that’s what we were given by default. As we were not asked nor showed that graph too choose from. I would never have chosen that option if it had been pointed out to me to me. It's not the worst coffee I've had in Mexico, but for sure the most expensive one, and thus potentially the worst value.

AtlasAdventured highly recommends eating here! One of the best breakfast spots in all of Tulum. Get there early, it tends to get really busy. Our favorite items are the breakfast sandwich on fresh baked bun (ask for the bacon extra crispy) and the avocado toast on fresh baked sourdough. Both are amazing but everything we got here was great. If fresh and in stock, get the Dulce de Leche croissant! Service is good even though they are really busy. Outside seating stays relatively cool with their setup.

We went to Rosina Café for breakfast. I ordered an Americano, but it tasted more like drip coffee and was only warm, not hot. My boyfriend had a mocha that was very watery with almost no flavor — also disappointing. We also tried the almond croissant, which unfortunately felt several days old — dry and far from fresh. On the positive side, the smoked salmon toast with egg and avocado was fresh and tasty, definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, a mixed experience: one delicious dish balanced out by coffee and pastries that really missed the mark. That’s why 3 stars feels fair.

This café in Tulum is such a special find! The space is cozy, beautiful, and full of great energy. The food is simple but absolutely delicious every single time! Fresh ingredients, perfect flavors, and their bread is baked fresh every day. You can really taste the care that goes into every dish, so huge shout-out to the cooks in the kitchen! Their green juices quickly became my favorite fresh, light, and super refreshing. And the service is just as amazing. Babel, Sol, and Roger always made us feel welcome and treated us like friends. Whether you’re a local or visiting Tulum, this place is a must!

Had a fabulous brunch here today! It definitely felt like vacation brunch. I think we stayed for two hours. I kept wanting to order another round of food. In all we had the Huevos Divorciados which were delicious and my husband had the burrito which was also tasty. I had two vanilla lattes (because vacation!) and my husband had a latte and fresh squeezed orange juice. On our way out we picked up two chocolate croissants to go. Spectacular start to the day!

Best breakfast we had in Tulum. High prices - $54 for 1 cappuccino, 2 teas, the pancakes and the beet hummus toast, both with egg add ons. But it was the nicest cafe space we had hung out in and we really loved the food, even though it was slow. Cons: Ignore the cenote, it’s mostly a sad little swamp. Bathroom in the back of the complex was weird - no TP, and you had to rinse your hands with stagnant water from a basin that had dead bugs in it. Bring hand sanitizer.

One of the best breakfast experiences in Tulum. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. One of the best vegetable omelettes there is. They have a large selection of popular breakfast items and their pastries are top notch. Definitely would recommend for those passing through La zona hotelera.

An amazing place to have a break from the heat. Coffee and chocolate croissant were delicious. You can take a stroll out the back to explore the cenote. Apparently, you can even go for a swim. I would go here again.

My friend and I stayed at the hotel across the street from Holy Deer Cafe so we had breakfast here every morning during our stay. Holy deer Cafe is such a cute Cafe with a great atmosphere and chill vibes. The waitress had excellent customer service and was so kind! The food was delicious and very affordable compared to other places in Tulum. They had wifi available for customers as well. On our last day in Tulum, the Cafe had a singer sing acoustic songs while playing the guitar while we ate our breakfast, it was perfect. Highly recommend Holy Deer Cafe to everyone, support their small business 🩷

The waitress saw my background picture of my cat and we started showing each other pictures of our pets. It was so refreshing to be seen as a normal person and not a tourist. The food, smoothies, and coffee is great. The location is great. They play nice and chill music. Great prices for quality food. We went here 4 times in the 8 days we were here, loved it!!
