From the history of the 14 highest peaks to personal stories of legendary climbers like Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary, each section pulls you in. One of the highlights for me was the gallery dedicated to the indigenous mountain communities like the Sherpas, Gurungs, and Thakalis—it was eye-opening to learn about their lifestyle, traditions, and their deep connection with the Himalayas. There's also a section about geology and biodiversity, which adds depth to the experience, especially if you're a nature lover. The miniature models of peaks and mountaineering gear through the ages give you a real sense of how far the sport has come. The museum is spacious, peaceful, and has lovely views of the mountains on a clear day. The outdoor area is also pleasant to walk around, with statues and a replica of a mountain base camp that adds a nice interactive element. I feel like I learned so much about mountaineering culture in Nepal. To my surprise there were so many materials and exhibition items from my own country. The place is huge, they not only have an exhibition facility, they also have restaurants and gardens. The restaurant has two lovely dogs that greet you!

Visiting the World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara was an incredibly peaceful experience. Visited World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara for the first time and absolutely loved it! The place is so peaceful and beautiful. I couldn’t spend much time as my daughter was already tired, but it’s definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in Pokhara. I’ll definitely come back!

Pure Serenity with the Best View of Fishtail. A must-do for peace of mind. The hike up is worth every step; you are rewarded with a stunning, meditative environment and an unobstructed panoramic view of Phewa Lake, Pokhara, and the majestic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak. Come for sunset for the golden hour magic!

The pagoda itself is disappointing. You've got to take your shoes off to walk around it, on a hot burning ground. I don't feel that religious as to burn the sole of my feet, and I'm certain this would not be Buddha's requirement either. But the hike through the jungle to get there was simply wonderful. And the view at the top is fantastic. Count about 2 hours for the hike, that is all up or downhill, depending on climbing there or coming back down. The path is wide and easy, bit it can be slippery in some places. If you decide to climb from Pokhara, be aware that the entrance into the jungle is not indicated. Coming from Pokhara, you need to pass the dam, cross the concrete Fewabhadh bridge. Right at the end, turn right onto the narrow paved road parallel to the riverg on the right, simply follow the road up past some university gardens and it will lead to a series of steps that'll take you to the beginning of the track. Mahendra Cave is a large limestone cave located about 8-10 km north of Pokhara’s Lakeside area. Inside, you’ll find stalactites & stalagmites, dripping water, and dim corridors. Some areas are artificially lit, but much of the cave remains dark. There’s a statue of Lord Shiva (a Shiva Lingam) and a priest who offers a blessing (tikka) inside. This adds a spiritual touch to the natural wonder. The rock formations are visually interesting; the interplay of shadow and light in the cave creates an almost mystical, quiet mood.

A small park with a cave that takes about 10 minutes to explore. The exit is extremely narrow—I couldn’t fit through and had to return to the entrance to get out. I’ve seen better caves elsewhere. The entrance fee is NPR 150, and it’s not worth going out of your way to visit. They have guides there that works off tips if you want to be guided through the cave.

It’s a small cave with a temple at the end; follow the signs for the secret exit. They created a small park around the cave and well maintained. Don’t hire a guide here! You need to buy an entry ticket!

It’s an Interesting destination. Avoid visiting the cave during rainfall as it is tough to navigate. Entry is easy but exit is narrow, children and senior citizens should avoid.

There is beautiful stalagmite and stalactite formations that have developed over hundreds of years in the cave.At the end there is a temple inside the cave. Cave is nearly 100 meter long. Nice garden is there outside the cave. Bat cave or Chamero cave is nearby.

Standing amist the heart of the city, these old traditional buildings whisper stories of past generations. Intricate carvings carry the soul of people carving them while the timeless design seem to defy the fast paced modernity around them. The charm of the old preserved and celebrated as a gem, is gradually being overshadowed by emergence of modern buildings.

For historical travel, this place fascinates most. Ganesh tole, bhairav tole (from few years bhairav nach has been most popular in this place) and bindhabasini margh is just awesome. Old pokhara bazar is authentic place to feel pokhara’s culture.

The Pokhara old market is marked by historical buildings. Old Nepalese architecture. On adjoining Bhimsen road you can get variety of stuff at bargain which not possible in market which is close to Phewa lake. The Bhimsen road market is not much frequented by the tourists.

Its a nice place to visit, see local shops selling nepal products. Try buying atleast one product. From the market. It really gives a boost to the sellers

Nice place. Though I expected it to be an open waterfall where we can enjoy with some water also. However, upon reaching I came to know why it wasn't an open waterfall. The water was falling with extreme pressure. Very beautiful and serene place. Just sitting there was giving calm feel. Good place to visit when in pokhara.

Davi's Fall: Davi's Fall, also known as Patal Ko Chango, meaning "Waterfall of the Underworld", is a terrifying and popular waterfall located in Pokhara, Kaski District, Nepal, known for its legendary and unique natural phenomenon of disappearing underground. The waterfall plunges into a hole in the rock and disappears into a 500-foot-long, 100-foot-deep underground tunnel. The water of the Phewa Lake is filled with the water of this waterfall. The waterfall is named after a tragic incident that occurred on July 31, 1961, in which a Swiss couple went for a swim but the woman drowned in the hole due to the increasing intensity of the water. Her body was recovered from the Fusare River three days later. Her father wanted to name it "David's Falls" after his daughter but he named it Davy's Falls. It is one of the most visited places in Nepal. Thousands of Nepalese come here for entertainment and enjoyment. Visitors can test their luck by throwing coins at the statue of the deity in the fortune pond built there. Similarly, a model of a traditional Nepali house and a series of statues of Nepalese people dressed in traditional costumes can be found where visitors can take pictures. Best time to visit: The waterfall is at its most powerful and spectacular during the rainy season, usually from June to August. The flow of the waterfall is less during the dry season.

We motivated to go here for some google positive review. But after we go here there is no scenic Fall just a water droping scene.. It's Small Place It's have annapurna range view point but that's you can see others anywhere even not have annapurna scenic view... Also the ticket price is unexpected per foreigners 150 NPR. I know 150 NPR is not high amount but there have no place for take the tickets price.. I attached some photo and video you can see that's.... Overall Loss Project.. Located in Chhorepatan, Pokhara on the opposite side of gupteshwor cave. Place surrounded by greenery everywhere. Good for picnic and sightseeing with friends and family. This place is also known as Patale Chhango. There is also a Shiv Temple located in the premises.

Went to Devi’s Fall in Pokhara and loved it! 🌊 The waterfall is amazing, the area is green and peaceful, and the cool mist makes it so refreshing. Great spot for photos and relaxing! 📸

Devi’s fall earlier known as Davis fall. The place was named after a French lady named Davis, who accidentally fell into the water fall while taking photographs. Apart from the watar fall there is a garden, manokamna devi temple, Lord Gautam Buddha’s statue also there. There they have installed statues of the Nepal’s famous authentic attire where you can put your head and get pics clicked.

It's a beautiful place with a lake area. You have the option to select your boat, even a single boat is also available. In the middle of the lake, there's a temple & a small palace where the king used to spend their time. Himalayan range is visible from this place . Just a beautiful sight seeing. There's plenty of Car parking available here and a lot of food stalls.

To be honest, I cannot recommend visiting this place. There is nothing noteworthy to see. I fail to understand why it has such a high rating. When we visited, the temple was also covered. It was overcrowded and had a bad smell, with bird droppings all over the ground. It would be better to explore the other side of the lake. I gave it 2 stars due to its spiritual and heritage significance, but this location could be much better decorated and preserved.

This time, I simply sailed around the Tal Barahi Temple during our one-hour rented paddle boat ride starting from Gaurighat. This Hindu temple, dedicated to the goddess Barahi, is one of the most important religious monuments in Pokhara, Nepal. It is located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake and thus the only way to visit it is by boat. It's currently undergoing full renovation, as I see scaffolding everywhere. Tal Barahi is intrinsically linked to the identity of Phewa Lake and Pokhara itself. It's a must-visit religious site in Pokhara.

Sri Vindhyavasini Temple: Sri Vindhyavasini Temple is the oldest temple in Pokhara city, Nepal. It is located in Ward No. 2 of Mirwa. It is an important place of worship for both local and international visitors. The temple complex has beautiful gardens and offers a serene atmosphere with a panoramic view of the Pokhara Valley and the Annapurna Mountains. The main temple is dedicated to Goddess Vindhyavasini, who is a goddess who is an incarnation of Kali. There are also temples of other gods and goddesses, such as Saraswati, Shiva, Hanuman and Ganesha. The temple is located on the top of a small hill and is accessed by stone steps on the east, north and south-east sides. A statue of Hanuman, covered with steps, next to the statue of Lord Ganesha near the entrance, welcomes devotees. According to tradition, the king of Kaski, Siddhi Narayan Shah, had a dream in which he ordered to establish a temple for Goddess Vindhyavasini. He sent people to Vindhyachal in modern-day Uttar Pradesh, India, to bring back an idol. When they returned, they camped at the present site, but the idol was found to be unmovable, which was taken as a sign to build a temple there. Since then, the place has become a centre for worshippers. "Vindhya" means incarnation of the goddess and "basini" means inhabitant of the place.

The caretaker of this place is amazing, you'll have to take off your shoes at the entry gate don't worry they have proper management for it you'll not lost your shoes 😜 . Not much crowded to have dharshan.

Shree Gaden Dhargay Ling Monastery is a small ancient monastery located in Pokhara, Nepal. Located in the secluded peaceful environment away from the daily rush of life, this monastery is one of the best places to unwind yourself while immersing yourself into a rich Buddhist culture. We walked into this monastery by chance while wandering around the Tibetan refugee camp. Obviously this is a Tibetan Buddhism monastery and temple, there was no one around else when we were here. The temple wasn't big, but looks new and in good condition, with the exception of some sweat smell. It does seems that the Tibetan Buddhism is doing well here, hope that they get to find their peace and build a better life.

A beautiful, peaceful place to visit. Friendly people. A small shop which does not do much business. Support local, especially the Monastery. Gorgeous crafts and traditional pieces to purchase and all of the money goes back into the Monastery.

A very informative museum situated in the premises of PN Campus of Pokhara... We are initially briefed as a butterfly museum only although it has sections for other wildlife of the annapurna region nevertheless BUTTERFLY part is amazing..... If you are interested in butterflies it's a definite go to place.....I really recommend people to take kids and school students to drop by as it's really informative and help understand the diverse distribution of butterfly species in Nepal..... Was briefed by our guide that the museum started by Mercy Corps volunteers and Butterfly part was a contribution of famous Putali Baje 🙏🏼

The opening time of this museum is 10:00 am to 4:00 pm from Sunday to Friday. On Saturday it’s usually close due to government holidays. A wide variety of Butterflies collection was the major attraction of this Annapurna Museum. The traditional structure building made by using local artists and materials is another point to visit.

Really great little museum. The museum is inside of the campus and a really nice security guard at the entrance directed us which way to go. The museum was free but donations are accepted. There is a lot of information listed around. A lot of reading. All in English. It's a pretty good little museum bit it is a college museum so don't expect like cliche museum, but still wonderful. I definitely recommend seeing it if you can!

The museum is situated in the campus of Prithvi Narayan College. The Prithvi Nathan College itself is located in beautiful hill surroundings. The museum has diverse collection of ores, dolls, models of Nepali houses and collection of Himalayan butterflies. At the entrance of the museum there is large hall which has numerous models of Animals, kids like their pics to be clicked in this hall. The visit to the museum requires at least 2-3 hours. Only one thing is required proper lighting arrangement in the museum. Most showcases have light reflection as such making visibility poor.

Very Nice museum. The Annapurna Natural History Museum was established by an American Peace Corps Volunteer, late Dorothy Mierow in 1965 within the Prithvi Narayan Campus premises for the campus’s use and the people of Pokhara and its surrounding areas. At that time Pokhara lacked roads and electricity. Except for fairs and religious festivals, there were few forms of entertainment, so many of the dolls and simple exhibits were for the children. The exhibits in the museum also provided a learning opportunity to help the uneducated to know more about the world beyond their neighbourhood. In order for those visiting the museum from villages would not have to return home disappointed if the museum was closed, a group of pillars representing some of the ethnic groups in Nepal was placed outside in front of the building. They were carved at cottage industries in Kathmandu and represent a man and woman from the Terai region, Newar farmers from Kathmandu, Brahmins, hill people and Tibetans from mountainous region. In 1988, the Visitors’ Information Centre for the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) was placed in NE wing and a second floor added. Under the aegis of the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC), the ACAP was established in 1986 as an innovative concept in the protected area management system of the country. It is Nepal’s first and the largest conservation area, covering area 7,629 sq.km. The conservation area embraces a multiple land use principle of resource management that combines environmental protection with sustainable community development. Traditional subsistence activities are woven into a framework of sound resource management

The Annapurna Butterfly Museum is located outside the city and as we were walking it took us some time to find it. The museum is located in the grounds of the local university - the Prithivi Narayan Campus. Once at the museum, you can spend the better part of a day looking at different types of butterflies, insects and other arthropods found in Nepal. The collection has been systematically arranged in display drawers that can be explored by visitors. Hats off to Mr Colin Smith (aka Mr Butterfly and Butterfly Baje in Nepali) who dedicated his life to collect and preserve these butterflies.

Bhimsen Temple is one of the most famous and historic temples in Pokhara, located in the heart of the city’s old bazaar area. Bhimsen Temple situated in Nalamukh, Pokhara is one of the precious asset of Nepal and Pokhara herself. As this temple was built in 17th century its value is quite immeasureable l, One must treasure it for multiple reasons. As it lies in the central region of busy street its exixtence is being threatened and moreover its cnservation is being questioned. Or challanging. Concerned body must act in time.

One of the oldest temple of Pokhara-3 situated at Bhimsen tile. Bhimsen is considered as most worshipped God amongst Newars. Most newar settlement has Bhimsen temple as their family God to be worshipped. He is one of the five pandavas and strongest by muscles.

It is dedicated to Gautam Buddha and it is on top of a hill where there is another Devi Mandir and it is so peaceful and refreshing. You'll sweat to reach the spot but your tiredness will vanish in a few seconds when you reach on top and take just one deep breath.

Visible from my house in Pokhara, this place is located in one of the four key hills that I consider part of my community: Bhadrakali Temple Hill, Gumba Hill, Mudula Karki Temple Hill, and Kahun Danda. Matepani Gumba is a peaceful place. I remember visiting it with my friends when I was a schoolboy. We had access to the prayer rooms and the rooftop, from where I could see the areas around Kundahar, Dhikalethar, Matepani, Fulbari, and Kahun. When I visited last year, the building (a residence hostel for Lama priests) was quite old, and reconstruction work for a new temple building had just begun. When I visited today, after more than a year’s gap, a new building for worship was close to completion, but the residence building was still quite old. I didn’t find the prayer wheels in the place where the new building was standing. It was clear a huge construction project was underway. Until last year, there were uphill stairs, though in dilapidated shape, but now half of the stairway was gone, and you have to walk around the road. In the upper section, there are remnants of the remaining 50% of the stairs. Standing atop this forested hill, Matepani Gumba offers more than just peace, tranquility, and wisdom; for me, it's a cherished journey back to my childhood.

One of the best and historical monastery of Nepal. Due to earthquake of 2015 it is being reconstructed at present so it is close. However, tourist can visit there and Meditate, exercise and enjoy the scenery and see the big statues of lord buddha and worship.

The devastating Pokhara earthquake that hit Nepal hard in 2015 had damaged the interiors of this beautiful monastery so badly that it's still closed for visitors as on today, awaiting repairs. However, visitors still can make a round of the entire perimeter of the monastery and snap some amazing panoramic view of the Pokhara city.

The gumba is magnificent but it was close when we visited it. It's been closed since long it seemed may be due to pandemic. The road to go uphill is open for two wheelers and there are stairs as well which lead to the gumba.the uphill bike ride is scary but short. So it's fine.

The museum has 4 galleries that you can visit. You can learn a little bit about different Nepali casts, how they dress and where they live. There are some exhibits of tools and instruments. There is a diaporama (I believe that's the name) of a few traditional settings. There is one that shows you how they used to collect honey that was interesting. It is a short museum, it is not a must see but it was interesting enough for me. I learned things which made it worth the visit.

Three stars is generous... believe me, but the building and gardens are nice with the latter being nicely kept. Foreigners pay 100.00 entry.

Not so interesting as it used to be. The outside area is more fun and interesting compared to the real museum. Ticket price: NRs. 25 per person (for Nepalese) If you are taking photos, you have to buy another ticket worth NRs. 25. Note: Museum will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday as of now (after Nepal Government started giving holiday on Sunday)

It´s great to visit here if you are new generation and don't have proper knowledge about our different Nepalese cultural. It can help you to know about different culture with their traditional dance, dress, living style and many more. This museum have kept our dead traditions alive and I am happy that even if we forget about our history this museum will help to lept it alive. But there is something missing in naming of all items so if some related person is watching it be sure to update all name there. Thank you.😄

Province museum of Gandaki Province. It claims to have cultural artifacts of people in the province but lacks of many cultures and people. Yet, I felt very happy to see such place managed by government. Impressive.

This is one of the most prominent and oldest Tibetan monasteries in Pokhara.The 14th Dalai Lama established the premises in order to shelter the outcasted monks. Inside the monastery you will find Golden statue of Lord Buddha and other series. The Buddhist monk stay here and do spiritual learning. The monastery is located in beautiful hill surroundings. A large river flows close to it. The monastery is very beautiful and colorful.

Joined a short trip from Pokhara to see and learn about Tibetan Buddhism. Had the chance to be inside in one of the local’s residence and tried their breakfast. Their coffee is quite similar to bullet coffee for an intermittent fasting. Enjoyed the experience plus had the opportunity to talk to the monk as well and asked questions as many as we can.

Wow the 3pm puja was magical to experience. We went on a day where most monks were outside but we watched a small puja which was just beautiful. Bit of a pain to get to using the taxi app but easy bus ride back.

A serene location with scenic views with many Buddhist activities throughout the year. Constantly providing cares to the Tibetan Refugees Camp ranging from Old Age Homes to Community Halls to Clinics, built to improve the lives of many. Although the life here is difficult, the resilience of the Tibetan never cease to amaze me. You can always feel their friendliness and loving kindness towards all beings.

We visited this monastery on our way back to Pokhara from Sarangkot. A Monk kindly showed us around and provided us with some history on the building and surrounding area. It’s the oldest monastery in the Pokhara region and it present’s traditional Tibetan architecture even though it has been built using modern building materials. Inside the hall is a 7 foot tall statue of Buddha, plated with copper & gold. There is a small well priced souvenir shop run by the monks, which helps towards the running of the monastery.

Puja was A deep experience 🙏 between 3 and 5 pm 30 min taxi ride from Pokhara!

The monastery is located in beautiful hill surroundings. A large river flows close to it. The monastery is very beautiful and colorful. Inside the monastery you will find Golden statue of Lord Buddha and other series. The Buddhist monk stay here and do spiritual learning. The time for prayer is 3:00 P:M. Various traditional musical instruments are used in the prayer.It is a devine experience to be there at the time of the Puja. There also a shop selling Tibetan handicraft items including the bowl which resonates on the frequency of Om. Before buying anything do check the items being sold outside the monastery by Tibetan settlers.

Free entry and situated on a mountain top and on the way, and if the sky is clear, you can see the Himalayan ranges and the entire Pokhara town. Statue is big and well maintained though the rest of the facilities look run down. Good to spend some time walking around the area and enjoy the view. Recommended!

Pumdikot is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Pokhara — a perfect blend of spirituality and breathtaking natural scenery. The massive Shiva statue standing tall above the hills adds a peaceful and divine feeling to the place. From the top, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, and the Annapurna mountain range especially stunning during sunrise and sunset.

I visited Pumdikot Shiva Statue last year, and it was an amazing experience! The view of Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, and the Annapurna range from the top is breathtaking. The Shiva statue is huge and beautifully made. The place feels peaceful and spiritual — a must-visit spot when you’re in Pokhara!

One of the biggest Shiva Statue of Nepal located at Pokhara. There are also statue of Goddess Parvati and Kartikeya here. Well managed and beautiful place. It was like visiting a big Shiva Shrine and getting inner peace here. Should not miss visiting here when in Pokhara.

Breathtaking views of the Himalayas from Pumdikot! The trek was challenging but the scenery was worth it. The sunrise views of the Annapurna range were stunning. Friendly locals and delicious food at the tea houses. A must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers! 🏔️❤️

Such a cool outdoor cinema with a relaxing vibe. The pizza was delicious and the ambience was beautiful. They even give free popcorn if you post on social media so fun. Definitely coming back again.

Had a nice experience at the movie garden last evening. One feedback I would like to give is to make this place a non smoking zone strictly. Becomes very difficult to be seated there when you have smokers smoking continuously. Movie tickets priced at 350 NPR and snacks and beverages are available for purchase separately.

Nice local open-air cinema. Come early or reserve seats if you can—it gets busy. About 30 minutes before the movie started, almost all the seats were taken and we got one of the last ones. They have good local beer, tea, and other drinks at reasonable prices. We enjoyed it.

The place is amazing, very well distributed and comfortable to properly enjoy movies. Is a great idea and they're doing super well. Pizzas can improve a lot, but still are enjoyable, a bit pricey for the quality though. And they ask for ticket ($350pp) which could be balanced if you're eating in, otherwise is better to go with full belly :)

We came about 50 minutes before the screening and found decent seats for a group of 6. Got some pizzas and drinks, all were nice. There is some noise from surrounding attractions but overall very nice atmosphere and experience

We had such an amazing movie night here! Come early, so you can still choose a spot and bring mosquito spray. Pizza is nice, staff is friendly and the surroundings are magical. I definitely recommend it!

My girlfriend and I recently visited this Movie Garden, we experienced some unfair treatment from the reception staff (possibly the owner, based on the photo). First, although there were plenty of empty seats when we arrived, we were forced to sit in a cramped corner while other guests who came later were allowed to choose their seats freely. Second, when we tried to order hot drinks, we were told they weren’t available. Yet, we saw other customers enjoying hot beverages shortly after. To be fair, the food was quite good and the waiter were friendly and attentive. It’s just a shame that the initial experience left us feeling unwelcome.

Pyramid Yoga at the Pema Dechenling Monastery is very special. A haven away from the bustling Lakeside and hectic Pokhara town. The yoga instructors are always top notch and Yogi practices sound baths, meditation and other healing. You can volunteer here, or stay as a guest, or drop in to individual sessions or longer courses. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind before and after your trek. I highly recommend it and will be returning again.

Coming to Pema, is like walking into a family. Master Yogi will welcome you with fresh herbal tea, a comfy seat, a warmhearted smile and a listening ear. You can just wander around the monastery, meditate, soak up the pretty views or you can dive deeper. At Pyramid Yoga Pokhara, we can experience wonderful peace, far enough away from the noise of cars, in an energy field of a Monastery and a space for Yoga, Soundhealing, Reiki and special meetings. The food is sativic and yogic, therefore healthy, and the teachers are excellent and attentive in the classes, that are incredible. I traveled with certain plans, but when I arrived and got to know this place, it became my place of tranquility and daily practices. It is undoubtedly the best space I have been to in Pokhara so far. Visit it to understand and feel 🙏🏻 I highly recommend the Yoga classes in this space, as much the Sound Healing and Reiki sessions and courses.

I did a week of retreat in pyramid yoga Pokhara at this pema dechenling monastery lake side it was one of my best experiences The place is such a beautiful place up to the hill and the view is so nice on the lake, the classes are very useful I learn a lot from all of the different teachers. It is very varied and the teachers give all of the heart to give nices classes. The girls cooking healthy and tasty food tea and juice I recommend this place to everyone who they search a peaceful place for practice yoga and meditation and it is the best place to do a retreat. For sure it’s making with full of love and happiness 🫶🏼🙏🏼☀️

The meditation retreat at the Shree Urgen Choling Buddhist monastery was exactly the kind of retreat what my friend and I needed for our last days in Nepal. Although it's in Pokhara (beautiful view from the rooftop overlooking the city) it's such a blissful place. I tell you, don't judge by appearance. I thought I wouldn't get the peaceful and inward experience what I was looking for and I was taught the opposite. The staff, the monks, the Lama (meditation teacher), the yoga teacher and the pilgrims who stayed there were the kindest people I've met. They welcomed us so warm-heartedly and are very concerned about our wellbeing and that we felt comfortable. The day starts at 7am with 30min chanting by the monks. Afterwards yoga lesson (60min) starts and it's the perfect start into the day. After breakfast we had 60-90min meditation. And I learned so much from Ashok, our teacher. He says his English isn't so good but you understand everything because he always knows the right metaphors to visualize the teachings. The techniques he uses and teaches are so helpful and inspiring. You can ask him anything and he takes his time to explain and to help you with your thoughts and your inner struggles. I am beyond grateful and thankful for the stay at this monastery and the experience. In the end we even wanted to stay longer! If you look for a place where you can start a journey within yourself, meditate, do yoga, write thoughts down, THIS is the place to go! When you leave, you know you've found a second home in Nepal. I know, Hannah and I surely will be back:)
