Located in the picturesque Genting Highlands at an elevation of 4,600 feet, Chin Swee Caves Temple is a sprawling Buddhist complex spread across 28 acres. The temple houses a striking black statue of Reverend Master Chin Swee, known for his reputed supernatural abilities. Visitors from various countries flock to this site to pay their respects. This awe-inspiring temple was completed in 1994 and features a nine-storey pagoda and a monumental lotus-seated Buddha.
Chin Swee Temple in Genting Highlands is one of the most breathtaking attractions in Malaysia, combining spiritual charm with spectacular natural surroundings. Perched high on the mountain, the temple offers panoramic views that are simply unforgettable. When we visited, the misty and foggy mountain air created a mystical atmosphere, making the experience feel almost otherworldly. The temple complex is beautifully designed, blending traditional Chinese architecture with modern construction that ensures comfort and accessibility for visitors. One of the highlights is reaching the temple via the Genting Skyway cable car. The ride itself is an adventure, gliding above lush forests and steep valleys before arriving at the temple grounds. The aerial views were stunning and set the tone perfectly for the visit. Stepping off the cable car, we were greeted with serene courtyards, intricate statues, and peaceful prayer halls that invite both reflection and admiration. Walking around the temple, every corner felt photogenic, from the towering pagoda to the statues depicting Buddhist teachings. The cool mountain breeze and shifting fog added a layer of calm and beauty, making it a place where you could easily spend hours soaking in the atmosphere. Chin Swee Temple is not only a spiritual landmark but also an architectural and cultural treasure. For anyone visiting Genting Highlands, it is an absolute must-see.

Such a peaceful and breathtaking spot in Genting Highlands! 🌿✨ The temple is surrounded by misty mountains, giving it a magical and calming atmosphere. The view from here is absolutely stunning, and every corner feels sacred and serene. Perfect place to take photos, relax, and reflect before heading up to the top of Genting. Don’t miss the pagoda and the giant Buddha statue — truly beautiful! 🙏💛
Selvi N — Google review
Amazing scenery and cultural roots. The temple was really well built and the pagoda also looked very cool. The huge statue of Buddha was also eye catching. For food the Chinese restaurant at the ground floor was also really tasty. I will definitely come here again next time!
Deep P — Google review
A must-visit gem in Genting Highlands! Chin Swee Caves Temple is one of the most peaceful and scenic spots in the highlands. The temple sits high up the mountain, surrounded by mist and lush greenery, giving it a calm and spiritual atmosphere. The traditional Chinese architecture, colorful pagoda, and intricate statues are absolutely beautiful — perfect for photos and reflection. Entry is free, and you can easily reach the temple via the Awana SkyWay cable car, which stops right at the temple level. There’s a small café and a few stalls nearby, but the main attraction is the view — especially when the clouds clear and you can see the valleys below. Do wear comfortable shoes and bring a light jacket, as it can get quite chilly and there are several stairs to climb. It’s a wonderful place for both tourists and those seeking a quiet moment of peace. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Genting!
Nuwan W — Google review
Must visit. Very Cool temple with an authentic vibe. On the way to genting highlands. Some guides may discourage telling that the return cable cars may be full. But it is possible. We had to wait only 5-10 mins to get a cable car with enough seating on the return trip. Try to visit in evening so that you get the cool breeze. Lots of cool pathways to explore on the mountain side, as part of the journey to enlightemnment walkway. Highly photogenic areas. Breathtaking views.
Ashwin U — Google review
This place is very scenic. We visited the place after getting down from the cable car in between. Since they have escalators to go this place it was very convenient. Beautiful surrounding. You have limited options of snacks and ice creams in case you want to try one. Overall a wonderful experience and you can visit this place for free in case you are travelling on the cable car to Genting.
Nelson D — Google review
A peaceful and serene retreat above the clouds - the atmosphere is calm with a magnificent open floor overlooking a grand Buddha statue that inspires quiet reflection. The temple’s intricate architecture and scenic mountain backdrop make it a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of nature. There are also convenient kiosks and probably a small restaurant nearby.
Adeline Y — Google review
Free entry, first stop from Genting Highlands downstairs in the cable car. Beautiful Chinese buddhist temple. Nice view from the temple. Since it was raining, we didn't explore much Must visit if you take the cable car to go up to Genting highlands

Farms
Nestled in the mesmerizing hill town of Genting Highlands, Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms offers a vibrant and colorful experience for visitors. The farm allows guests to handpick their own strawberries or purchase pre-packed ones, surrounded by picturesque strawberry-themed decor that provides plenty of photo opportunities. In addition to strawberries, the farm features lavender fields, a mushroom farm, a bee farm, and various other fruits and vegetables.
For the entrance fee RM20 adult and RM15 kids, I think this place is worth visiting. For those from KL, it is nearer to come here than heading to Cameron Highlands. Free parking on the roadside. With shopping stalls and eateries overall this place is enjoyable, and they have decent toilets. Especially those who love flowers. Come early when the temperature is not hot. Felt the heat when noon heat strikes. Picking strawberries was sure fun. If they were to offer selling plants like strawberry or grape, I sure will be interested. Like the fact they don't pressure you to buy stuff or take photos.
Cara C — Google review
Entrance fee RM20 per adult. Worth the visit for ppl who love nature and plants. Well maintain nursery and fresh strawberries pick at RM8 per 100g. Staff were very friendly too.
Ammimajus A — Google review
The entrance fee for me is quite expensive. rm 20 for adults. kinda not worth it for me because there aren't many fun activities to do here. Can only see the flower field. When going to a strawberry farm, there are not many red and large strawberries. but you can still pick it at the price of rm8/gram. There is also a small cafe to enjoy drinks and snacks, a honey shop and a gift shop. There is a service for photographers to take pictures as memories in front of the flower field. To me this is just a normal strawberry and flower field and doesn't really appeal to me. In addition, staff and workers need to be trained to be more friendly especially at the counter selling souvenirs or Cameron tea.
Rsya R — Google review
Ticket price is slightly expensive to me, RM20 for adult and 15 for kids, and this is only for seeing the flowers. If you want anything extra like picking strawberry need to pay separately. A family of 4 will cost 70 just like that. The farm is big and Flower wise there are a few varieties and only that few varieties in the whole farm. The varieties keep repeating in different part of the farm. If you decided to pluck strawberry, the price today was 80/kg. They sold packed strawberry too but I’m not sure if they are from their own farm or not. They also sell honey, lavender made stuff like lotion, perfume, air freshener etc. there’s a cafe and many other stalls along the way near the end of the exit. All in all, not a bad place and if the price could be cheaper it will be better.
Kelly C — Google review
Its a beautiful place if you love the flora and fauna because all you see here is flowers, plants and strawberry farms. The best part is picking your own fresh strawberries which you can purchase. The entrance ticket for this park is a bit expensive according to me, but the experience is good, specially if you are interested in taking pictures. There are also 2 photo booths, where they take family pictures as well as pictures with chinese or local costumes. Some small shops selling coffee, perfume, honey, strawberries and food stall is available.
Sukanya S — Google review
We spent a lovely day in this beautiful place surrounded by blooming flowers and fresh strawberries. The entrance fee is RM15 per person. The best part is we get to pick the strawberries by ourselves for RM8 per 100g. If you get a bit thirsty or even hungry from strolling around, you can stop by their cafe. Their food and beverages have decent taste and price as well. The only downside is that most strawberries we picked have worms inside. It was a lot of waste because we ended up throwing half of them.
Danah P — Google review
A must stop if you go to Genting Highland. Reasonable entrance fee. Enjoy the experience of picking your own strawberries. The strawberries are quite small although they are red and taste a bit sour. There are also grapes imported from the USA and other countries for sale. So many places for OOTD and takes pictures. Come early when it opens to avoid crowds. Highly recommended to come.
Safwan Y — Google review
Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms at GohTong Jaya. The flower farm is very beautiful and colourful, ideal for those who enjoy taking photos. You can pluck strawberries for RM8 per 100gm or buy pre-packed ones. Thankfully, we were able to pick some strawberries this time. There are fewer crowds today.

Shopping mall
Genting Highlands Premium Outlets is a sprawling outdoor shopping center featuring well-known outlet stores and a diverse food court. It's a family-friendly attraction with colorful flower gardens, fruit orchards, and various activities like the Genting Bowl, Snow World, and Rio Float. Visitors can also explore Resort World Genting with its casinos and theme parks for endless entertainment. The place offers something for everyone, including kids' attractions like CoComelon and KidZania.
We dropped by at the Premium Outlets to scout for some sport shoes & casual shorts before proceeding to check into Grand Ion Delemen Hotel. Almost all designer brands for sportswear, fashion & accessories, and watches are available. You'll be spoilt for choice. Most outlets will offer some discount in one way or another to attract the crowd. We're surprised that today is "crowd free". As we were in a hurry we managed to buy some shorts. As for shoes, we couldn't decide on the many offers! Perhaps in our next trip. The scenery from here is breathtaking. You can see the cable car passing by. The Pagoda of the Chin Swee Caves Temple is also visible at a far distant. So beautiful on today's cloudy weather! We're looking forward to drop by at the temple on our way home.

Genting Highlands Outlets is a great shopping destination. Unlike a typical mall this is designed as a street with near pavements. The weather is great for walking around. The destination is in multiple levels, most of brands are there with amazing offers. There are also food counters. Overall a must visit place when you are in Genting.

Cool breeze, and retail therapy with a view. Genting Highlands Premium Outlets never disappoints. Plenty of brands, decent cafés, and way cooler than city outlets. Best to come early or late afternoon for that mountain chill

This is at the base of genting highlands where busses n taxi cars are available. Mall had good offers when we went . More than 100 shops are there. Good Food options available. Rope way is from this place only - Alana avenue
Praveen C — Google review
Great outlet mall experience in the cool highlands! Lots of premium brands like Coach, Nike, and Michael Kors with decent discounts, especially during sales. The open-air layout is refreshing and scenic—great for a stroll. Gets very crowded on weekends, so weekdays are better. Food court is okay but nothing fancy. Easy to reach via cable car, but getting a Grab back can be tricky—plan ahead. Worth a visit if you’re in Genting!
Dubai F — Google review
The location just opposite the Genting Cable Car station. There are lots of branded items and goods with special promotion. The outlet has plenty restaurant and food court to eat. Good to pass by when u visit Genting Highland. There is playground for kids at lower level.

The place is quiet and diverse, and includes most of the supplies from the most famous brands, such as perfumes, fabrics, and watches. The prices vary, from acceptable to expensive. There are gaming areas, restaurants, and cafes that satisfy all tastes.

Located within Resorts World Genting, Ripleys Believe It or Not is a renowned franchise that has its own Adventureland. This Odditorium houses over 300 peculiar artifacts and interactive displays, including a horse-faced woman and a Buddha statue made of one million dollars. The museum spans 12,000 square feet and features more than 500 exhibits from Robert Ripley's collection.
My old parents and I got the tickets for 5 attractions; RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT! ODDITORIUM is one of them. This attraction is totally worth the money as there are plenty of fascinating, weird and interesting stuff. A must visit.
Yellow B — Google review
Okay so there are five spots inside this, but I only enjoyed the Jurassic park and the zombie house. The zombie house was more like a haunted house cause they clearly had other horror elements than zombies. Quite a bit of jump-scares and definitely worth going there. The Jurassic park was also pretty nice and pretty big. The dinosaurs look really nice felt like petting them. Others were okay but felt a bit boring to me. But worth visiting I guess. The 4D museum is a bit small doesn’t have much stuffs. Doesn’t really look 4D enough altho good places to take selfies. There is an arcade there as well and fun things to do for kids so overall good experience.
Rafa D — Google review
Had the chance to check this place out and boy,was I blown away! Watching the show growing up,being able to see the various items on display was an experience like no other! It is family-friendly and there are many different sections to explore,so be prepared to spend some serious time here. Great place to snap photographs for keepsakes and there are many fun facts to learn and discover here. Who knew?

Those who don't like to stand in q this option is best . It has 4 game , auditorium is best then zombi walk then other ..
Mandar H — Google review
This is the second visit to the Fipleys Believe It Or Not odditorium at Genting Highlands. My first visit was three years ago in mid 2022. The ticket price hasn't changed - it is still RM 39 per adult ticket and you can purchase it from the Adventureland ticket counter selling tickets for all the different attractions. The odditorium is like what I remember but it was still nice to be walk through the different rooms and examine the artefacts and captions up close. I particularly enjoyed the Apollo space travel exhibits, the strange animals, the Amazon collection and the final section on money since we are in Genting Highlands (keep a look out for the framed 1990s Yugoslavian hyperinflation banknotes, the Million Dollat Buddha and the luckiest chair in the world!). There is a Ripleys souvenir stand outside selling guide books (the softcover one for RM 10 is pretty good value, T Shirts and other assorted items). You can make payment to the staff member manning the entrance turnstile. Ripleys Believe It or Not is located in the Skyavenue complex on level 4 (top level) - you can access it via the escalators. Just keep going up from where SkyAvenue casino is.

Outdated showcases..boring and not worth the ticket price of RM27.00 per person
Azryl A — Google review
will be fun and games if you bring your kids, for adult it's kinda boring to be honest
Ben V — Google review
An engaging indoor attractions for kids and adults! We bought the package to access all the 5 attractions—if you’re an adult, I think you’ll be interested to visit all the attractions except the Jurassic Park! The Odditorium was more exciting than what I expected, the zombie haunted house was spooky enough for me who can’t handle jumpscare, and the infinity room was perfect for selfies! The 4D museum was just okay…

Nestled within a 45,000 square feet atrium, the Arena of Stars is a renowned venue for lively musical performances. This amphitheater has hosted legendary artists such as Lionel Richie, Deep Purple, and Olivia Newton-John. Originally an open-air structure, it has since been enclosed due to Genting's weather conditions. Boasting state-of-the-art sound and light systems, this auditorium can accommodate up to 6,000 spectators.
Really enjoyed Tolti’s concert at Arena of Stars! The big screen visuals were clear and well-done, and the sound quality was great , not too loud, just nice. The area temperature was also super comfortable, not too cold and not hot at all. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable concert experience!
Mei — Google review
Went here for a Toto Concert. The capacity is huge, clean, the sound system is great and the service is also very satisfying. The marshall is very helpful guiding you until you find your seat. The hall area is easy to navigate. But the light system could be improvised. The hall condition looks poor considering the brand and standard that this place holds. I'm expecting a new condition hall but a lot of improvement and refurbishment needs to be done. Sorry to say. By its standard, it should be far away better.
Hafizun M — Google review
It is a very nice indoor arena! All the seat arrangement are well. The PS1 seating area are good enough for a concert, not far not too close to the stage.
CHAU Y — Google review
One of the best indoor hall for concert that located at Genting Highland Resort. Clean and comfortable toilet and quite big hall. And their good soundsytem will make your remarkable concert.

The Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands is truly one of the best concert venues in Malaysia. I attended the “Violet Skies: Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Live in Arena of Stars” concert in July 2025, and the overall experience was excellent. The event management and organizers did a great job in handling the large crowd. Instructions were clear and helpful, with ushers stationed at every corner of the venue. They were attentive and approachable, making it easy for concert-goers to navigate and feel assured throughout the event. The event flow was well-coordinated, ensuring everything went smoothly without unnecessary confusion. In terms of the venue itself, the comfort level is high, and the sound quality is excellent, crisp and immersive, unlike what you might experience in other lower-quality venues. The seating arrangement also provides good visibility, making it a pleasant experience no matter where you sit. As for parking, there are multiple complexes available. Some are conveniently close to the venue, while others require a short walk. Either way, parking is ample and the rates are affordable, which is definitely a plus. Overall, Arena of Stars is a top-notch concert venue, well-managed, comfortable, and backed by solid facilities. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a world-class performance in Genting Highlands.

Arena of Stars at Genting offered an intimate setting for Candy Lo Timeline II. We were in zone PS1 at the first row, and I was fortunate enough to even score a handshake when she stepped off the stage. Acoustic quality was outstanding, and despite the small venue, visuals and lighting were impressive. My only pet peeves were the audience and restroom location — at least 20 people crossed the aisle in front of us during the concert, some repeatedly. Marshalls should monitor this, as many were walking about freely, which was quite disruptive to both the artistes and genuine concert goers.

SkyAvenue, a modern mall that opened in 2017, is a lifestyle destination located in Genting Highlands. It offers an array of upscale stores, a cinema, kids' attractions, and numerous restaurants and bars. The mall houses popular brands such as Adidas, H&M, Omega, Rado, Swarovski, Coach, Charles & Keith and more on its second and third levels. Additionally, visitors can find various snack stores to indulge in.
SkyAvenue is an amazing place to spend the day in Genting Highlands. The mall is huge, modern, and full of energy, with so many shops, restaurants, and entertainment options under one roof. The atmosphere is lively, and the cool mountain weather makes walking around even more enjoyable. I loved the variety of food choices — from local favorites to international brands. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and the staff in most stores are friendly. A great spot for shopping, dining, and just relaxing with friends or family
Suhair K — Google review
SkyAvenue is a very polished, modern mall-/entertainment complex with a lot of appeal. It does a great job blending shopping, dining & spectacle, especially for people who want more than just a shopping trip. It’s especially fun in the evening, when lights, music, and the show add atmosphere. But it’s not ideal if you want tranquility, small crowds, or budget-friendly casual visits.
Joynaba R — Google review
Our visit to Genting Highlands with Skyline Holidays was packed with excitement and discovery. We started the day with a scenic cable car ride through the misty rainforest. It felt like we were floating through the clouds. At the top we explored the large indoor mall, which was full of shops, food, and attractions. My girls rode several of the rides and had so much fun. One of the biggest surprises of the day was when we sampled Chinese pork bacon. It was smoky, savory, and incredibly tasty. We ended up buying a whole kilo to take with us, and our girls loved it so much they finished it within a day. It became one of their favorite snacks of the entire trip. The mall was lively and had something for everyone, from games and rides to delicious treats and great shopping. It was a perfect place to spend a family afternoon. Before heading back down, we also visited a beautiful Chinese temple tucked into the mountainside. That peaceful experience deserves its own review. Genting Highlands offered a wonderful mix of fun, food, and culture for the whole family. A must visit if you're traveling with kids.

It's a great place to escape the heat and spend a few cool hours indoors.

**Final Nonya Colours at Sky Avenue 😋** A great morning kicks off with a simple yet tasty breakfast. Whenever we take a short trip to Genting Highlands, we always relish a delightful meal that includes toasted bread, soft-boiled eggs, and Nasi Lemak. Nonya Colours, an authentic food stall situated at Sky Avenue, is our preferred destination for this traditional Malaysian dish. Nasi Lemak, which is rooted in Malay cuisine, features fragrant rice cooked with coconut milk and Pandan leaves. Alongside Nasi Lemak, they offer an assortment of traditional Malaysian Kuih that are popular among locals. Some crowd favourites include Kuih Bingka Ubi, Pulut Inti, Curry Puffs, Kuih Seri Muka, and many others. In the picture, my friend Kumar is on the left. We've been friends for five years, and he hails from Bangladesh, where he has been employed for 13 years. I admire his commitment and enthusiasm for his work. Whenever we organize a trip to Genting Highlands, we always make sure to have our breakfast at this spot known for its affordable prices and friendly staff, who offer outstanding service to the patrons. We enjoy their services! PS: Meet our new friend Rubel, a nice and warm person. He is also from Bangladesh! See the attached photo. He is on the right side with Kumar. Happy Bee Farm & Insect World is a charming place to stop for nature lovers and families. The bee products are well-explained by the staff-they teach you about honey-making, and you also get to try some fresh pure honey! The insect display, on the other hand, allows you to marvel at a variety of species. The garden itself is well maintained and full of vibrant flowers, making the walk quite pleasant. It gives you a great opportunity to learn, buy products made from honey, and take a well-deserved break from the city.

Stumbled upon the Best Bee Farm in Genting, and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery! Informative, peaceful, and perfect for families or anyone curious about bees and honey. What stood out even more was their inclusivity—as persons with disabilities, we were given free access, which was truly appreciated. Kudos to the team for promoting awareness, accessibility, and kindness. Well done! 🐝👏

I had the best Iced Honey drink here—hands down! It was incredibly flavorful and they were generous with the honey, which made every sip rich and refreshing. I loved it so much, we actually came back twice in just two days just for that drink! If you're a honey lover, you're in for a treat—they sell a huge variety of honey too. From rare and unique types to interesting fusions, it’s a real honey haven. Definitely a must-visit for any honey enthusiast!

Visitors can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of this highland paradise, which also boasts other attractions such as Awana Horse Ranch, Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm, and Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre. At Butterfly Wonderland, guests can marvel at the vibrant colors and graceful movements of various butterfly species. The farm's serene ambiance offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Totally would recommend to visit in Genting! Super fun, you get to see the bees and lots of different butterflies. It was just beautiful but also note you will see a lot of dead ones on the floor. You can pay for entry at the entrance!

My 2 year old daughter was happy with the butterfly.. For us the place was small and smells bad, old and need more cleaning , maintenance and rubble removal 25 rm or 30 rm for person
Munirah J — Google review
Very sad place to visit. Lot of dead butterflies, insects and bees on the ground. Small enclosures for the insects as well as the animals such as birds and rabbits. Enclosures consisted of metal cages without any natural elements or flat surface to stand on. The baby rabbits feet got stuck between the metal. An honorable mention was the lonely hedgehog in a 30x30cm enclosure with just wood shavings on the ground. It’s obvious all the money goes into the fancy honey store. Staff is friendly and toilets/facilities are VERY outdated. At least you can buy the rabbits, so maybe they wont be there forever.
SDR — Google review
A butterfly lover paid RM30 to visit this place in the evening and it was a big failure for me. A countable live butterfly flying in the garden. Indeed, the butterfly museum after the farm has several rare species but seriously, the maintenance is crucial! Most of the specimens are fading and broken. The environment is creepy. Even the butterfly specimen I bought as a souvenir from another place is a hundred times better than what you are displaying as an exhibition! Oh yes, they did sell the butterfly specimens as souvenirs as well, and the condition I can't say it is bad, but literally, it is no different from junk. Terrible! Even putting a hatched butterfly in a transparent biscuit container (very small size) and trying to sell it. A hedgehog and a rabbit are trapped in a small cage. Damn! Where is their humanity? Gone? Please close the business. Please, respect nature and all living creatures. Don't go there, you are just wasting your money and time. And you kids might get nightmares.

First World Plaza is a vibrant and family-friendly attraction located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, near the Suria KLCC shopping mall. It offers an array of activities such as Genting Bowl, Snow World, Rio Float, Teacups ride, and Ripley's Adventureland. Visitors can also explore colorful flower gardens and fruit displays while enjoying traditional artifacts and handicrafts like Japanese dolls, figurines, hats, purses, and home decor products.
Firstly, I just want to say that it is connected to two malls. Try to spend two days here and I guarantee you will miss it. You can buy everything here. Do not worried about supplies. It feels like another city to me. If you stay at the hotel, they are also connected. It is really convenient. I promise I will come here again in the future.

First World Plaza: First World Plaza is a shopping centre located one floor above the lobby level of the First World Hotel on land measured 46,000 square metres (500,000 sq ft), housing a casino (formerly a pavilion), retail and dining outlets, an Indoor Theme Park – Skytropolis Funland and other attractions such as Snow World, Genting Bowl, Seni Kome Peng Heng, Big Top Video Games Park and first Asian branch of virtual reality attraction The VOID which occupies nearly 7000 square feet in the plaza. Before refurbishment from 1 June 2017 to December 2018, it had few attractions in the plaza including a bowling alley, Cineplex, "water splash" pool (a warm indoor swimming pool made for mostly young children), Genting International Convention Centre, a pavilion, Haunted Adventure and a Ripley's Believe It or Not! Bro, honestly, there’s not much for us Muslims to do in Genting. The main thing there is the casino and the weather — that’s it. Nothing else really stands out. Best move? Just do a day trip from KL. Bring a backpack, chill for a bit, and head back. Everything shuts down by like 10 or 11 anyway. After midnight, Grab is dead. You’ll have to take a taxi if you’re stuck there late — and they’re not cheap. Food’s okay, but a bit pricey. And if you’re booking a hotel, try staying near First World. We stayed at Grand Ion Delemen — looks nice but it’s 4.5km from the center. Total hassle getting around from there.

My favorite plaza so far cos I love the cold weather in here 😆 Lots of good memories in here including waiting for taxis in the middle of the night, it was still pretty safe. Definitely will go back cos I haven't tried all the foods in here 🤍 Tried few but everything was so tasty. But the plaza is too big, it was a bit confusing to get out as there's no shortcut in here 😩

Youngsters and children sure will love this place. So many things to explore here. Eateries, entertainment, outdoor or indoor theme park, brands outlet and more. What's on your list? 😄 We spent a memorable evening with the band here at Arena of Stars - Air Supply. This isn't the only place to enjoy your day in this area. The restaurants here don't accept reservations during weekend, long queue though. Delicious dishes served here in so many different types of restaurants. If you bring your children along, then choose those with kid's menu. Since Christmas is around the corner, it has a pleasant, happy ambience. Cheerful atmosphere with all the Christmas decorations everywhere. Recommended! You will sure spend a fun-filled day here. Food: Delicious Price: Above average with service charge & 6% SST at most restaurants) Service: Friendly Cleanliness: 4 stars (except for its carpark toilets) Parking: use Touch ‘n Go to park at basement. Note: stay alert, slow and safe when you are diving downhill. Road closure at mid hill opposite of GohTong memorial park, 2 lanes became one. (updated on 18 Dec 2022)

Here u have lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. There is a 4storey shopping mall with the cable car station located on level 4. Casino
Located within Resorts World Genting in Malaysia, SkyCasino is the only legal land-based casino in the country. It is part of a complex that also includes Genting Casino. The area features several casinos that are open 24 hours a day, each offering its own unique atmosphere for visitors. In total, there are approximately 426 gaming tables and over 3000 slot machines available for guests to enjoy at any time.
To play at the casino (or the older Genting casino), you need to join Genting Rewards and get a member card. The process is free and you can do it at the member counter outside SkyAvenue casino (see pidture) - it takes about five minutes and your passport is required. The staff will also ask some questions about your occupation. Bagpacks are not allowed into the casino due to in-housr policy. I don't recommend using the lockers which aren't free but charge between RM 35 to 55 for use - so store them in your hotel room before visiting. SkyAvenue casino has two floors and you can take your pick of games. Level 1 has slot machines and level 2 has more slot machines; manned gaming tables, electronic tables (you can play blackjack, roulette, sic bo etc). To play, insert your member card and key in the PIN you made when joining as a member insert banknotes (RM 10, 20, 50 and 100 bills only) which will load as credits into your card. When you want to withdraw your money, press the cash out button on the screen and head for the ATMs - these are Genting ATMs where you can cash out Key in your PIN and follow the on-screen instructions to withdraw in RM 10 and 100 denominations only (e.g. RM 90 will get you nine RM 10 bills but RM 100 will get you a single RM 100 bill). For banknote collectors, you can hunt for new notes by going to the ATM to withdraw notes and loading the used bills as credits at any nearby slot machine etc Repeat the process ad infinitum. Good luck and don't forget, the casino always win in the long run. So cash out when you have some winnings already and can walk out like a boss. Know your limits and never fall prey to the sunk cost fallacy of "let me play just one more time to recoup my losses". No photos or videos allowed inside the casino

Gamble responsibly. It's a five star if you know what to do. This is a simple breakdown if you are a first timer. 1. (Optional) Sign up for the membership and get the rewards card at level 2, they will give you some credit for free play on the jackpot. This cards can also earn points on some other spending like food and apparel for rewards. There are peak hours to avoid, such as when a large tour group just arrives, if there is a huge crowd just check back again later. 2. Under rules and daytime, do wear smart casual, there will be checks on entry. 3. For the jackpot machine, you need the rewards cards, but if you are just going for table games, then cash is enough. -For jackpot machine, slot in card and you can top up using cash, the display is touch screen and select "check out" if you are done playing. -For tables games, change cash for chips with the dealer, you can present cards to earn points, the electronic board will tell you the games rules and minimum bet, at least RM25, some games are higher, casino level 2 have lower minimum, but they might close it and make you go level 1. You can watch others play but no photos and videos taking. 4. Exchange remaining chips from level 1 before you exit. Gamble responsibly and good luck.

I didn’t actually go inside SkyCasino, but I had an interesting encounter at the entrance. I met a Chinese lady who had finished playing inside and unfortunately didn’t have much luck. She was outside selling her Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park tickets, and we ended up making a great deal buying them from her. It was a lucky find for us and made our trip even better!

Vibrant place to gamble, but tourist need physical copy of passport to encash winning money. Normally it's very hard to win in Casino. It's easy to loose big amount in minutes.

The casino staff were friendly and approachable. Love the vibrant atmosphere even at 3pm! Can’t imagine how living it is in the evening :) the only downside is that I wasn’t allowed to bring along my backpack into the casino. That’s weird, as I saw some ladies handbags were even bigger than mine. Double standard. I needed to lock up my backpack into the 2/F and the cost was $20 ringgits. FYI I had no backpack issue at Macau casinos!

Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is a must-visit attraction in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. It offers endless fun and thrills for visitors of all ages. The park features exhilarating performances, exciting games, and a variety of indoor amusement rides. With its spectacular mountain views and tranquil ambiance, it's the perfect destination for families looking to have an unforgettable experience.
Genting Highlands is one of the most sought-after destinations on everyone’s Malaysia trip. The best way to enjoy it is to stay overnight so you can truly experience all the entertainment this place has to offer. The outdoor theme park alone deserves several hours, so it’s best to reach right at opening time. Before visiting, it helps to check the online map and understand the VR queue system — this makes navigating the park and using the app much easier for a smoother experience. We visited on an October weekend, which is the off-season, so the crowd was comparatively less. We bought our tickets directly at the venue instead of online — the price was about ₹300 less per person, which was a good saving. However, during the peak tourist season (from November to June), it’s advisable to book tickets in advance. Overall, the park is efficiently managed and offers great value for money at around ₹3,900 per adult (approximately RM 190).

Really fun place to spend the day! The park looks amazing and the mountain views are beautiful. The cool weather makes it super nice to walk around, and there’s a good mix of rides for both kids and adults. Some rides were closed and the queues got long in the afternoon, but overall still worth it. Staff were friendly and the park was clean and well kept. 🎢 Tip: Go early and bring a jacket — it can get windy later in the day. Great spot for families and friends when visiting Genting Highlands!

I visited SkyWorlds Genting on a Friday morning, and overall, it was a really fun experience. There was plenty of paid parking available, which made it convenient to find a spot without too much hassle. Upon entering, I recommend getting a locker to store your belongings — it’s much easier to enjoy the rides without carrying bags around. Some rides require you to wear a raincoat, so it’s best to either bring your own or buy one on-site. It started raining in the evening when I went, but the staff handled everything well, and most of the attractions resumed once the rain slowed down. Despite the weather, the overall experience was still enjoyable and lively. The theme park itself is well-maintained, with a good variety of rides suitable for both thrill-seekers and families. I especially liked how organized everything was — clear signboards, friendly staff, and clean facilities throughout. The food options were also decent; I tried the hotdog, which was surprisingly big and tasty, definitely worth trying if you need a quick snack between rides. The atmosphere was cheerful, and the park layout made it easy to move from one attraction to another without feeling too crowded. It’s a great place for a short getaway, especially if you’re spending the day in Genting. Overall, despite the rain later in the day, I had a great time. SkyWorlds Genting offers a good balance of fun rides, photo spots, and comfort — I’d recommend visiting earlier in the morning to make the most of your day and avoid the bigger crowds later on.

Final OK ✔️Skyworld Theme Park in Genting is ideal for everyone, especially young children. ✔️✔️ While it may not be the most adrenaline-pumping destination, this theme park is created with families in mind, offering a range of attractions for kids and enjoyable activities for adults. Discover the thrilling experiences high in Genting Highlands, where you'll find one of Malaysia's largest theme parks. This must-visit location provides endless entertainment options for guests of all ages, ensuring both children and adults have a great time. Make sure to include this theme park in your holiday plans if you're visiting Malaysia. This hilltop attraction is certainly worth the journey, offering a beautiful environment that is cool and refreshing, making it an excellent spot to relax and have fun at the peak. On October 3, 2025, we were delighted to receive complimentary one-day tickets to SKYWORLDS THEME PARK and SKYTROPOLIS INDOOR THEME PARK, courtesy of Genting Malaysia Berhad, as we are members of Genting Highlands. We were assisted by Mr. Afiq, the “polis bantuan” police assistance, who guided us on how to reach Skyworld Theme Park and provided us with essential information about the entertainment venue. The police officer was extremely helpful. He hailed from Kuala Kangsar, Perak state. Good job, Mr. Afiq, for assisting us. Chris, October 3, 2025.

It was really fun, but I went on Saturday, so it was quite crowded even though I arrived as early as 10 a.m. I recommend going on a weekday if you can — but weekends are fine too, just make sure to go early. Try to visit the main attractions first, like Samba Gliders, Acorn Adventure, and Terraform Tower (you can also reserve spots through the Genting app, but you can only book up to 3 rides at a time, then reserve more afterward). Unfortunately, Alpha Fighter Pilots and Mad Ramp Peak were still closed. Oh, and don’t forget to get a locker — even small bags and phones have to be stored 🤣. By the way, don’t bother with the 4-hour locker (RM22); it’s not worth it. Just get the full-day one instead. Btw, ticket i buy on Klook, u also can buy with KKday RM65 (promotion until 31/12/25). That’s all for now!

Nestled within Resorts World Genting, Casino De Genting is the only legal land-based casino in Malaysia. It comprises SkyCasino and Genting Casino, offering a variety of gambling experiences. With approximately 426 tables and over 3000 machines available for 24-hour gaming, visitors can enjoy a mix of traditional gambler atmosphere and more welcoming environments.
This is the older casino located inside Genting Grand Complex. Take note that you cannot bring in a bagpack, bulky items or plastic bags (for some unknown reason) inside. The upside of Genting Casino is that it is less crowded. You have to join Genting Rewards as a member to play (or use a temporary card - but why not join when it takes just five minutes. You'll get RM 20 in free credit as of Sep 2025 - it was RM 30 after pandemic restrictions were lifted three years ago in mid 2022). There are slot machines, blackjack tables, sic bo and more - play responsibly, set your own limits and remember, the casino always win in the long run

I visited Genting Casino simply out of curiosity, just to see what a real-life casino looks like. The entry process is quite strict. Large bags are not allowed inside, so you have to place them in lockers located on the upper floor before entering. Security is tight, and staff will check your ID. You must be at least 21 years old to enter. For Malaysians, only non-Muslims are allowed. But for tourists, as long as you meet the age requirement and dress properly, you’re allowed to enter. Inside, the casino is clean and well maintained. It’s filled with slot machines, electronic games, and classic table games like blackjack, baccarat, and roulette. The environment feels professional and calm, not too loud or messy. Photos are strictly prohibited inside, so I didn’t take or include any images for this review. Overall, it was an interesting experience to see what a legal casino looks like. I didn’t stay long or play anything, just looked around. Worth checking out at least once if you’re visiting Genting Highlands.

It was my first time visiting Genting Casino and I went in with full of excitment. As my membership was registered eons ago at First World Hotel, I had already lost that membership card. As such, when I downloaded and logged in to the RWGenting App, I was not able to update my profile with a new card. Hence, I approached the Customer Service counter inside Genting Casino and was served by Wen Shyan. This was on 24 Aug 2025 at around 10pm. He was impatient throughout the process, rushed both my husband and I through the form signing. I even had to correct him when the details on the form was filled in wrongly, apparently that annoyed him even more. By the end of it, he was already side eyeing us, giving us black face and attitude. What was supposed to be a happy and fun experience turned sour quickly. I no longer have the mood to spend a single cent playing anymore. Customer service and satisfaction is very important, especially when you are facing clients who are ready to spend to have a good time. Truly a very bad experience. I hope Wen Shyan can be counselled & service standard can improve.
