Palazzo Ducezio, also known as the Town Hall of Noto, is a magnificent example of Sicilian-Baroque architecture located just across from Noto Cathedral. Inspired by 17th century French palaces, this stunning building was originally intended to be the residence of the Duke of Noto. Designed by renowned Sicilian architect Vincenzo Sinatra, it features a grand facade with twenty arches supported by columns adorned with Ionic capitals.
The ground floor of Palazzo Ducezio, the City Hall of Noto, Sicily, Italy, dates from 1830 while the upper floor is from the first half of the 20th century.

Included in the combo ticket with the theatre Di Lorenzo and Palazzo Niccolaci. Most rooms and the interior are blah but one conference room is gorgeous and the VIEW from the terrace of the cathedral across the way and the plaza is STUNNING!
Jennifer S — Google review
Staff very friendly and helpful, there was a working meeting in the main chamber so only the hall of mirrors open. It's not expensive to visit either. Notto is beautiful, there are loads of wonderful sights, it's just really just not worth the bother visiting this too. There were 2 large mirrors in the hall of mirrors..it was almost Monty Python surreal....
Simon R — Google review
Nice panoramic views from the terrace but way overpriced. Only two rooms open. There was an advertisement for an art exhibition but not at the Palazzo Ducezio as we thought - it turned out to be an extra cost at another location.
Rachel P — Google review
It’s worth it for the nice view from the balcony towards the Cathedral but also in the other direction behind the Palazzo.. but there’s not much to see inside
Andrew — Google review
The view from the terrace was great but the so-called hall of mirrors was a big disappointment. We've got more mirrors in our bathroom.
Graham H — Google review
Wonderful baroque architecture, mesmerizing view, and italian atmosphere contribute to making this interesting sight a worthwhile experience
Mar S — Google review
Better the stunning architecture is enjoyed from the outside. The roof terrace provides some nice panoramic views otherwise not sure paying an extra admission fee was worth seeing “the mirror room”.

The Church of Santa Chiara, also known as the church of Santa Maria Assunta, is a stunning Baroque church designed by Rosario Gagliardi in the 18th century. It is located adjacent to the former Benedictine monastery of the Santissimo Crocifisso and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Noto from its outside terrace. The interior features a white baroque style with twelve statues of apostles on internal columns.
A wonderful place for a walk with a scenic viewpoint and a stunning view of the cathedral. Peaceful atmosphere, charming surroundings, and the perfect spot to take in the beauty of the city from above
Natalia D — Google review
This was well worth the additional ticket price to take the stairs all the way to the top. Views are amazing looking out across the city. The history is very interesting and some great visuals of how the would live in the past.

2 euro’s to enter, lovely little church but the real treat is the panoramic views of the areas surrounding Noto and Noto Cathedral. Worth spending some time in the church and soaking up the area.
Harry W — Google review
The Chiesa di Santa Chiara (1758) in Noto, Sicily, Italy, has a remarkable elliptical form made all the more striking by the elegant Baroque decor.
David S — Google review
Very nice view from the highest terrase(there are more) for a cheap 2,5€. Otherwise entry is free to the church, as to quite many small churches in the old town. I would recommend, as you can see the whole old city and make beutiful photos. Much nicer, than the Cathedral. Much nicer the

For me this was the best of the visits in Notto, not because of the inside but because of the views over Notto and down to the coast from the roof. We were also fortunate to ve on the roof at noon when the bells started ringing too. Staff friendly, very cheap to visit.

Teatro Comunale "Tina Di Lorenzo" is the primary theater in Noto, constructed between 1855 and 1870 to meet the demand for cultural and musical events. This charming Baroque-style venue is a popular tourist attraction and event space, offering visitors the chance to explore its beauty for a nominal fee. With its rich history and architectural elegance, it's a must-see destination for travelers interested in the arts and culture of Noto.
Teatro Comunale Tina di Lorenzo (1870) in Noto, Sicily, Italy, is named for a famous early 20th century Italian actress with ties to the city.
David S — Google review
Interesting little theatre in Noto. Originally built just for the aristocracy and later seating added for the plebs. Quite small, but I think five stories of boxes, very intimate theatre and a glimpse into another era.
Terry F — Google review
If you've never seen one of these theaters, definitely go. I've paid to see performances in similar places in Lecce, Austria, Mexico, France, etc. Apparently it was quite the style for a minute or two. It's kind of like churches, there are similarities, but seeing yet another often seems like a good idea.

St. Charles Church, also known as Chiesa di San Carlo al Corso, is a prominent attraction in Noto, Sicily. The church's restoration has brought it back to its former glory after a collapse in 1996. Its pale yellow limestone exterior shines under the sun while the interior boasts simple white paint. Visitors can access the tower for a panoramic view of Noto for a small fee and enjoy stunning vistas from the rooftop.
Be sure to invest a few euros and climb the church tower. Especially at sunset you will have a wonderful view of the historic city center illuminated by the golden sun. It's worth it! Visiting the church itself is free.
Honza R — Google review
Definitely climb up to the bell tower! The views are spectacular! Such a beautiful chiesa!
Irene E — Google review
This church may seem underrated due to its beautifully restored interior, but it is definitely worth the paid terrace on the upper floors. The view from the top is breathtaking, right next to the bell tower, overlooking the entire main square of the cathedral and the town hall. Be careful, as the stairs can be very narrow. You will need to go up and down slowly.
John D — Google review
2.5 euros gets you entry to go up the spiral staircase to get panoramic views over Noto. Be warned the staircase is extremely narrow and can get claustrophobic!
Ant W — Google review
For two euros one comes to the tower of this church and has a great panorama over Noto. The spiral staircase is narrow and steep. There are a few niches to dodge. Nevertheless one should make oneself also orally. On sunday evening you will see a wonderful chorus and sound in stereo just from the archiecture.
Tassilo K — Google review
beautiful church. not one of the biggest; pretty small actually with fascinating paintings on the ceiling. A very tight circular staircase brings you up to the balcony which has a wide view of the panorama including the sea and an even higher one with more of a view still.

Chiesa di San Domenico is a well-preserved baroque church that showcases the best of Sicilian Baroque architecture. The interior features an elongated Greek cross plan with richly decorated domes and side altars adorned with 18th-century paintings. The church is a testament to the opulence of the era, boasting lavish decorations and round shapes. Visitors are treated to an extraordinary display of stuccoes and architectural details that make this church a must-see in the city.
Loved this church. Went into the crypt and learned about how the bodies were mummified by the Dominicans, prepared fir the afterlife.

Palazzo Castelluccio is a fascinating palace with a rich history. Abandoned for years, it was revived by a Frenchman who was inspired by The Leopard novel. The palace is now adorned with period-style decor, plush fabrics, original frescos, and exquisite antiques. It offers a glimpse into the lifestyle of the local gentry during the Grand Tour. Visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour and marvel at the beautiful artifacts and decorations throughout the late 18th-century house.
A steep €12 to enter but oh.my.god. What a magnificent restoration. The before and after are truly gobsmacking. One of my favourite historical homes I have ever been to and I’ve been to hundreds if not thousands in my life. Absolutely ravishing wall paintings, wallpaper, tiled floors, furniture, tchotchkes and art. There is a free online PDF audioguide which is helpful. Warning the WIFI doesn’t work beyond the entrance hall- come on guys!!- so I recommend taking snapshots of the PDF unless you have phone data. Self-guided tour unless you want to pay an astounding €25 for a guided tour. I found the combo of my LP book and the PDF guide fine. A museum staff member gave my friend and I a brief intro in the entrance hall which was helpful. Warning there’s NO explanation of the throne in the throne room or WHY it’s there. The relatively bland outside entrance is easy to miss.

A must see in Noto! I was so pleasantly surprised by this beautifully restored palace. Perfect for people who love interior design, history, architecture... Or just beautiful sites. For moms with strollers, consider a baby carrier since there are many stairs going up and down. The reception kindly let us leave our stroller behind the front desk. I loved the visit so much I left with the book :)

Impressive late 18C house in Noto adorned with a wide variety of beautiful artefacts and decorations. We were greeted and orientated for the self guided tour by a charming member of staff with excellent English. A QR code was provided to download a guide to the house. We admired the quiet, open and accessible rooms at our leisure, marvelling at the trappings and lifestyle of the local gentry, as experienced by participants in the Grand Tour. The kitchens and stables were also a fascinating insight. A highly enjoyable visit - recommended!
Bob R — Google review
From the street it's very difficult to realize that it's a real palace.. But you would be attentive and lucky to be in time for the excursion - it's really worth to spend 12 euro!! Really impressive interior, that was restored.. But not fully, so you can see the old tiles on the floor.. Furniture of that time also impressed! But the main interesting room of the whole - the library! Here you realize that someone really lives here.. In this palace.. Cause in the library you can see either really ancient books, or modern one that reads the owner, sitting in that impressive chairs!
Olga K — Google review
Huge palace tucked away on the back streets of Noto. Painstakingly restored by the new owner with a great attention to detail to original decorative finishes and an amazing selection of period pieces. We took the guided tour, the only way you can see the interior of the palace, and the guide was really informative and very easy to listen to and ask questions.

Porta Reale o Ferdinandea is a grand gate that welcomes visitors to Noto's Old Town. Built in the 18th century, it was named after King Ferdinand III of Sicily and stands as a symbol of the city's power and significance. The gate boasts two imposing towers on either side of a central arch, adorned with intricate relief sculptures and carved stone moldings.
Noto with its beautiful arch as you enter, is stunningly beautiful and was one of my favourite towns while visiting Sicily. Noto’s baroque buildings and architecture are beautiful, its centre is compact and easy to visit with bars and restaurants coupled with a relaxed atmosphere.

Loved Noto, the local craft vendors set up along the street entrance great idea for those who cannot walk far or do hills. The beautiful wide open courtyard gave a peak into the towns immense history of preservation of the church and growth for the future.

Located high on the hill it’s a birth place for Sicilian architecture and fashion for its day. Ruled by a royal family Marquis. A place worth visiting. The architecture like no other. Grand Buildings , statutes and churches. The power and wealth is seen.

A beautiful and iconic landmark at the entrance of Noto’s historic center. The arch is impressive in its neoclassical style and makes a perfect starting point for exploring the stunning baroque streets of the city. It’s a popular photo spot, especially at sunset when the light highlights its golden stone. The area is clean, welcoming, and often lively with visitors. Definitely worth stopping here to admire the craftsmanship and take in the atmosphere before walking down Corso Vittorio Emanuele. A must-see if you’re visiting Noto!
Giusy — Google review
It is a beautiful and charming gate that gives us access to the amazing Noto. Nothing more. But very beautiful. A station parking bar... typical entrance of another era. Yellow like the rest of the baroque city that reemerged from the ruins of the 17th century earthquake.

One of the many beautiful Churches in Notto Visiting Notto seems to be quite easy, you will just walk the main street, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, from one end to the other one and you will see on both sides most of the better attractions in Notto. You will probably, no, certainly, stop at Caffe Sicilia, one of the best conditoria in Sicily and anyway the most famous around, having there one of their special cakes or a granita. And you will see Notto Cathedral, Chiesa di San Domenico and the adjoining Fontana d'Ercole, the Palazzo Ducezio and many other beautiful masterpieces of architecture like this church: Convento San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata. Stop there, get inside and enjoy.

Noto Cathedral, a reconstructed 18th-century Sicilian baroque cathedral with a neoclassical dome, is located in the city of Noto, which is renowned for its Baroque palaces and churches. The cathedral was partially reconstructed after being damaged by an earthquake. Noto itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has a tourism-driven economy due to its proximity to nature reserves and beautiful beaches.
The cathedral is absolutely beautiful, although the whole of Noto deserves a mention. The architecture is stunning and a lot of work has obviously gone into restoring and maintaining it. Unlike other places in Sicily there is a real effort to keep the city clean and appealing. I can highly recommend a visit, although if beautiful places of worship are your main interest, my (now no longer) secret tip and absolute favourite is Cattedrale Palazzolo Acreide in the mountains between Francofonte and Modica. There is none more beautiful.

Noto Cathedral, also known as Cattedrale di San Nicolò, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Noto, Sicily, Italy. Dedicated to Saint Nicholas of Myra, it’s a prime example of Sicilian Baroque architecture. Construction began in the early 18th century after the 1693 earthquake and was completed in 1776. The cathedral features a stunning limestone façade with two bell towers, a monumental staircase, and a central bronze portal depicting scenes from Saint Conrad Confalonieri’s life. Its dome collapsed in 1996 due to structural issues from a 1990 earthquake but was rebuilt, and the cathedral reopened in 2007. The interior, with a Latin cross layout, houses Saint Conrad’s relics and modern frescoes. It’s part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Late Baroque Towns of the Val di Noto.
Murat K — Google review
We visited the Cathedral of Noto and were truly impressed. Getting there was very easy – it’s about an hour’s drive from Catania on a smooth and convenient highway. Parking was no problem at all, we even found a free spot right next to the cathedral, which was a big plus. The cathedral itself is located right in the heart of the city, just as you’d expect. While there were some tourists around, it wasn’t overly crowded like in Taormina, which made the visit much more pleasant. The cathedral is stunning from the outside, but equally impressive inside – and best of all, admission is free. It’s definitely worth a visit, whether as part of a day trip or even just a half-day tour, since Noto is not a very large town. Still, there are several beautiful sights to explore, and the cathedral alone makes the trip more than worthwhile.
Leo ( — Google review
The cathedral sits beautifully at the top of the main staircase and is one of the highlights of Noto’s baroque architecture. The facade is grand and elegant, and the interior, while simpler, still feels impressive thanks to the height and the soft light coming through the windows. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re walking through the historic center. The view of the cathedral from the bottom of the steps is especially striking.
Andrea O — Google review
Warm Noto stone facade on the outside and inside a space of calm contemplation. By far the most spiritual and reflective church I have visited in Sicily. Don’t miss the Pentecost painting in the cupola.
Brian H — Google review
The facade and side towers of the Cattedrale di San Nicolò or Duomo in Noto on Sicily, Italy, overlook the city. The cathedral's dome collapsed during a thunderstorm in 1996 but has since been rebuilt. The central nave bears a 20th century painting of the Assumption of the Madonna and the four cardinal virtues. The cathedral contains a wooden cross made by Italian artist Elia Li Gioi from fragments of migrant boats collected on nearby beaches.

Nicolaci Palace, also known as Palazzo Nicolaci, is a Baroque gem located in Noto, Sicily. This former residence of a wealthy family boasts ornate decor and posh furnishings on display. The palace is famous for its unique balconies that adorn Via Nicolaci, showcasing Baroque creativity at its finest.
Included in the combo tour with the theatre Di Lorenzo and the City Hall (total a tenner). On its own it’s €4 and absolutely worth it. Whilst not as WOW as Palazzo Castellucio, the ballroom is magnificent and the rest of the rooms lovely enough to stroll through. English language placards in most of the rooms if I do recall but they offer general histories and don’t detail all the wonderful artifacts.

An opulent Baroque palace belonging to the princes of Villadorata. You can visit some of the grand rooms including the lavishly decorated ballroom where piano recitals are sometimes held. Worth noting are the balconies with baroque masks for corbels, typical of the Sicilian Baroque style.

Step in and touch the past of Noto. Interesting place showing you the history of this famous local family as well as their way from France to Italy and Sicily in this case. Walking around in the rooms one has the opportunity to see the "old" way of spending time, having guests, entertaining family and friends in the music room as well as enjoy the view from the balcony. It is worth visiting and exploring this house full of marble.

Five winged horses appear as corbels on the front of Palazzo Nicolaci di Villadorata (1733) on Via Corrado Nicolaci in Noto, Sicily, Italy. Five plump faces appear on the corbels supporting a balcony of the palace. An annual flower festival called the Infiorata tajkes place on Via Corrado Nicolaci in front of the palace every May.

Virtually a few steps away from the cathedral well worth a visit. Few rooms have explanatory cards though which is a pity. Great views from the ballroom's balcony

A private palace. The last owner didn't have any offspring so it was sold to the state. It is beautifully presented. Especially the ceiling paintings and decorations with 3D effects.

The staff was very kind and the view from the balconies was beautiful. I recommend the combined ticket, together with Municipio and Teatro Tina di Lorenzo

The receptionist here made the visit. She was very keen to share about the place. The place itself is quite nice. Nice but not the grandest of palazzos I've seen around.

The construction works were initially entrusted to the architect Andrea Gigante, but upon his death in 1787, they were entrusted to the canon Antonio Mazza, to whom the design of the façade and that of the pronaos is attributed. The Basilica of the Santissimo Salvatore constitutes, together with the former convent and the seminary, a single monumental complex and is the largest building in Noto. It is also a perfect fusion between different architectural styles. In fact, the basilica is neoclassical, the monastery baroque while the seminary dates back to the twentieth century. A church from the late Baroque era, with a series of frescoes and stylistic details inside, testimony to the historical post-reconstruction era of Noto, following the earthquake of the 18th century. Both inside and outside it is much more interesting than the cathedral, recently rebuilt in the manner and image of the original and therefore devoid of the stylistic details that inexorably belong to the historical period in which they were built. The view from the bell tower is stunning! (Original) Stupenda. Museo Civico di Noto is a three-story museum featuring a historical section on the lower floor and surprisingly interesting contemporary art on the upper levels. Visitors recommend this museum, noting the helpful English-speaking staff. The museum also hosted an exhibition by Banksy, displaying his artwork for six months and including commentary from other graffiti artists through a video installation. Overall, visitors highly recommend this clean and welcoming museum as a must-visit spot in Noto.
If I did not expect something in Noto, it's an exhibition by Banksy. The local museum displayed some of Banksy's artwork for six months, and other graffiti artists spoke through a video installation to comment on themselves, graffiti art and, in particular, Banksy. I learned a lot. A fascinating artist who holds up the mirror to us humans in unexpected ways.

Ex Convitto Ragusa is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Sicily, offering an extraordinary art experience that feels almost surreal for such a quaint town. During my visit on a weekday in May, I found myself wandering through its well-curated exhibits nearly alone, which allowed me to fully appreciate the stunning collection. The museum features an impressive array of Sicilian-origin artworks, including pieces from renowned artists like Caravaggio and Frida Kahlo.
Very friendly staff. Lovely exhibition with detailed information about the currently exhibited artists. I went to the ICON exhibition. Very nice selection of pieces and a very fun surprise at the end. It made me so excited to see a recreation of Studio 54. Gift shop is packed with goodies at affordable prices.
Dinko S — Google review
There was only one Caravaggio work. Most people were attracted by the name of the exhibition. The 13 Euro ticket was expensive because the staff at the door introduced it as the most important part of Caravaggio in Sicily. I felt cheated. In fact, it could have been introduced as an exhibition of some Maltese painters. There was no need to use Caravaggio's name to bluff. But there is one treasure by the Spanish painter Jusebe de Ribera!!
ZHAOQI J — Google review
We ultimately did not visit the museum because the welcome was particularly unfriendly. After reading other reviews, we can see that this feeling is shared, which is unfortunate for a cultural venue that surely deserves better.

Ok exhibition on Warhole and contemporaries. Bit high price for what you get. Be warned, if you enter with children the guard keeps on following you like she is the police. Not a pleasant experience. Sure, children are not supposed to touch anything and we told them ourselves, but following us every step and correcting us is not the right way.

Absolute diamond in the rough. Fantastic museum, during a weekday in May we were practically alone, it's incredibly well curated, there was a "women in Art" gallery and I have no idea how they get their hands on such great stuff, there was an authentic Caravaggio (!!!), Yoko Ono's weirdness, Frida Kahlo's dresses, and a room-sized tribute to Yayoi Kusama, nothing short of incredible for such a small town deep in the Sicilian countryside.

Nestled uphill from the city center, Ostello della Gioventù Noto - "Il Castello" is a renovated hostel offering great value for families and groups. The airy rooms, some with sea views, feature typical architecture and are complemented by a relaxed atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a bar, rooftop patio, and free breakfast during their stay. With mostly private rooms and one mixed dormitory available, this hostel provides beautiful views and friendly service at an excellent price point.
Lovely Hostel with a very friendly host. Great location and view from the room. It is however a hostel so mange your expectations. This is basically a two person show. Breakfast is basic and sufficient as well as the rooms. We had a lovely stay and the terrace bar „secret“ is very nice as well. We would definitely come back.
Nadine R — Google review
The views and the location are excelent, unfortunatley they want to squezz as much money out of the hostal terrace as possible so they use it as a terrace for and external night bar, we ended up having strangers drinking gintonics beside out drying swimsuts and towels and couldnt sleep until 1:30 am when the bar was closing. really not recomended if you go with a family or for a chill night.

Such a lovely place in beautiful Noto. The room was spacious and the view is breathtaking. The host was amazing, the breakfast was great, we didn't want to leave. :))
Elena T — Google review
The view is beautiful, the room was very spacious even though it was a bit strange to have 4 sinks for only two people. Very good price for what it is. However, I would suggest improving the breakfast: fresh squeezed orange juice for example, fresh fruit salad, and natural yogurt of great quality instead of processed yogurt with artifical flavors, add more variety for the pastries.... If you improve your breakfast my score will go up to a 5 starts :)
Louisa M — Google review
I would give 5 Stars if it was for the location alone. But... I think this place needs a little makeover. I know it is a hostel and that's fine but even though, the rooms and especially the bathrooms need some renewal. We had a room that was made for 8 people for just the 2 of us which was nice and we had a lot of space. The view on the city was perfect. However, the beds (all but one were bunk beds) were a bit older. And the shower and toilet rooms could surely be modernised. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Umbrellas for the beach are available which was nice. Breakfast was ok but not great; sweetened juice and yoghurt... I think that could be improved easily (maybe some fresh fruit and pure yoghurt instead).
ML L — Google review
Late September 2019 Comfortable, clean, very good value, and the best breakfast with a variety of meat cheese fruit and home made cakes. Wonderful view from our spacious room. The most friendly hosts. I would certainly return to this place.

Nestled in the heart of Noto, Gagliardi Boutique Hotel offers elegant and polished accommodations just a short distance from local landmarks such as Ducezio Palace and the Cathedral of San Nicolo. The hotel boasts a rooftop terrace with stunning city views, a charming garden, and an art gallery for guests to explore. Each well-appointed room features modern amenities including a flat-screen TV and private bathroom. Guests can also enjoy concierge services and complimentary WiFi throughout the property.
The hotel is on the perfect location just a few steps to the most beautiful cathedral in Noto. Staff is fried and helpful. Diane at the front desk always carries a positive attitude with her, and the manager at the breakfast room as well. Breakfast is nice and there are 3 cute cats chilling in the garden too 🐈🐈🐈 The room is super clean and as new as it can get. Nice amenities 👍🏻 Rooftop bar’s view is stunning incredible. You must get yourself table for the sunset ⛅️ This is a a small luxury hotel with lovely staff.
Mimoopom — Google review
We recently visited a rooftop bar that had absolutely amazing cocktails – they were flawless, and the view was truly spectacular. However, unfortunately, the service did not live up to the same standard. It was incredibly slow, with zero attention from the staff. We had to wait a really long time for our food, and even longer when we wanted to order a second round of drinks, despite the place being nearly empty. Another strange aspect was the payment system: after finishing your food and drinks upstairs, you had to go down to the reception desk to pay. There, you had to tell the receptionist exactly what you ordered – and if you didn’t remember the cocktails' fancy names, they had absolutely no idea what to charge you for. Also, the staff upstairs didn’t speak a word of English, which wouldn't be a big problem usually, but not even knowing basic things like "still water" being non-sparkling water made it very frustrating. At the reception, after we somehow pieced together what we had consumed, the receptionist disappeared for about 15 minutes to find change, and when she returned, she handed us a torn 10-euro note. All in all, the drinks and the view were fantastic, but the service experience left a lot to be desired.
Martina N — Google review
Can’t rate the hotel but we visited the rooftop bar where the quality of drinks did not meet the setting. We paid €20 for a below average margarita cocktail, glass only half full and €8 for an ‘infusion drink’ which was basically a glass filled with ice, water and a tea bag. For this price you would expect a really great drink. There was a Martini promo event going on with music just a bit too loud. To top the experience our clothes got wet from the outdoor seating cushions. Staff is friendly though and the view is nice.
Lana A — Google review
After seeing the sunset in Noto we thought it would be delightful to have a cocktail on the rooftop terrace here before dinner. We are not guests but the receptionist said we were very welcome. We took the lift to level 2 and found the most spectacular location. We sat for about 20minutes before someone came to take our order. We all had favourite cocktails in mind…. For the waiter to realise that we had not been given “menus for drinks”. The menu a took a while to arrive, then realising our favourites weren’t on there….. we took a while to decide….so the long and short of it was…. We ordered drinks that we thought were quick to make….. otherwise we would have been late for dinner…..took us an hour and a quarter for a long wait and a hurried drink! So depends what one wants….. if u have all the time in the world…. The location and outlook and vibe is amazing. The customer service and staff training is very poor indeed.
Netty F — Google review
We came for a drink on the rooftop terrace, we sat there for 45 minutes and left because we still didn’t have our drink. It was not even busy at all. Worst service I ever had. At least the view is nice ;)
Laureen S — Google review
Avoid this place at all costs! I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism. Absolutely shocked by the level of service. I’ve emailed them twice 2 weeks and 1 week before the day we were meant to get there asking for some info and if I can book a table. No response whatsoever. We got there, we asked if we can get a table, they said they open at 17:00. I told them I’ve emailed them and they could’ve easily mention this via email and I would’ve avoided a 1h30min trip from Catania to Noto and they just didn’t care.
Iolanda S — Google review
Very friendly staff and great view from the rooftop, but disappointing cocktails, very basic for 22€ you pay clearly just for the view, which is a pity because they could have done something good quality all the way.

Had a great stay here for a couple of nights in May. The hotel location can't be beat and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in booking dinner reservations! I have to say that the decor in our room was some of the wackiest I have ever seen in a hotel room, but it was all part of the fun. The room was huge and had all the amenities you would expect from a high end hotel.

Rooms was clean and had all amenities needed, very comfortable bed and spotless bathroom. The staff at Q92 couldn't be better, always there when you needed and would go out of their way to be helpful. While the church is closed most of the time, its baroque style and beautiful marble decorations make it worth visiting if you're in Noto. The painted ceiling adds to the allure of this historic site.
A gorgeous cathedral with beautiful marble decorations and a painted ceiling.

A concept store took over this church now, it is lovely but there are many stairs to go it as it is in a different part of of Noto, but worth checking it out if you are Noto.

It is converted into a fashion boutique. Lovely interiors, but felt weird nevertheless. Though much better like this instead of being closed

Witnessing a luxury boutique within a magnificent and ancient Sicilian baroque church is truly disheartening...

(Translated by Google) Great altar, Great ceiling fresco Okay, but it takes some getting used to seeing high-priced goods for sale in a former place of worship that was desecrated specifically for this purpose. However, it really hits the nail on the head: Thou shalt have no other gods before me. There is only one God. In this day and age, TV, music, shoes, and clothing are status symbols and godlike in people's eyes. So this shop fits in with a place of worship that is no longer one. Especially since the salespeople's disinterest is similar to the behavior of a pretty woman salesperson.

Villa Romana del Tellaro is a small but fascinating site that offers a glimpse into ancient Roman history. The villa features well-preserved mosaics that are considered some of the best, despite there being only three of them. The location provides stunning views over the landscape and down to the sea, showcasing why it was in use for nearly 2000 years.
Nice and tiny villa with some boards with information and some mosaics well preserved. It was an old roman Villa, and in 19th century a farm was built on top. They tried to sell the mosaics in the black market, but luckily police caught them. The entrance costs 6€, but we pay 9€ for 2 tickets... Don't know why but it was nice. You can park right at the door. We came first Saturday of November and it was free. The visit will last 10 to 15 mins. But it's worth it.
Pablo A — Google review
Not worth the detour according to my opinion. And 6 euro for entrance for such a small exhibition might not be worth it. If you really enjoy history and archaeology you might enjoy it.
Max R — Google review
What a great find very much by accident while driving from marzamemi to siracusa! Definitely worth the stop, amazing mosaics similar to Piazza Armerina but of course a much smaller residence - nonetheless they have been very well preserved and have great detail (and the bonus is you don't have to hike all the way to piazza armerina to see them if you are limited with time).
Contessa M — Google review
Wonderful mosaic, very well presented. With very friendly staff.
Tim P — Google review
If you are in the area, pop in. I am looking to go back when the excavation will be completed. The Mosaics are impressive, good quality as the Villa del Casale.
Roberta M — Google review
Roman Mosaics were dusty and a bit dull but the explanation cards were excellent. View down valley to sea showed why location was in use for nearly 2000 years. €8 entrance fee in cash was steep for a few mosaics, but hopefully it went to the Archeological dig which is still going on.
Stephen D — Google review
Fascinating to think that there was a massive temple with mosaic flooring of this quality over 2000 years ago. It’s small but cool and if you like history, it’s worth a stroll through.
Gregg V — Google review
This is not as extensive as the villa Romana Casale but a number of mosaics are really great work of art and worth seeing. And it's more relaxed than Casale.

If you are looking for a rich cultural, historical experience, sprinkled with magic, this is your place! Monica is an incredibly generous and knowledgeable hostess. She made this town come alive. It is not a posh hotel, but clean and thoroughly enchanting! Noto is wonderful. If you go, it will be the memory of a lifetime.

We loved that it was right on the main road and in an old castle. Monica and the entire staff provided amazing hospitality. The only con is the bell for the cathedral starts ringing at 7am, every 30 minutes.
Erica F — Google review
I slept extremely well in this hotel. I chose it for it's affordable price as well as central location and proximity to Cafe Sicilia. Service was great. The room was cool, spacious and had great old-world character. The bed was good, although I have slept on more comfortable mattresses. That is not to say that there was anything wrong with the experience. I had profoundly powerful dreams and I wondered if it had anything to do with the massive stone architecture. I will have to return some day to see if the experience happens again. Breakfast was great. Not too busy. Good conversation with other guests and a lovely view with fresh air across the town centre and morning sun. Extremely happy with my discovery for one night in early August. Thank you.

An extraordinary and wonderful place to stay, in an historic palace from the 18th century. The location is central for the town next to the cathedral, and this is a beautiful old building in Noto. The staff are very helpful and kind, and can provide a guided tour of the state rooms of the palace. The bedrooms are a little austere, with basic but functional furniture and bathrooms. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean. Car parking is available on the road at the front. A few things to be noted: Breakfast was adequate but more 3* than 4*. The cathedral bells start ringing on the hour at 7am. There is sometimes noise coming up from the crowded bar opposite or buskers. We did not regret staying here, and would come back if visiting Noto.

This was my first time in Noto and how lucky I got by randomly picking this gem of a place in the heart of Noto right next door to the SN Cathedral. Firstly, the staff are the nicest, most polite people and incredibly helpful professionals. Secondly, the rooms are spacious, ultra clean and quiet with the exception of the absolutely magical sound of the bell from the Cathedral right next door. Truly one of the most amazing experiences that I can not wait to revisit asap! Landolina, you are in my heart! Thank you and see you soon💌 Grazie tante! Henri RW, NYC

The Landolina Palace hotel is a stunning mansion left of the Noto's cathedral, whose history goes back to the XVIII century. When entering this Unesco's recognized site, you loose the usual cognition of space and time and decidedly enter the dreamful Stendhal syndrome. This unique experience of culture and beauty is supplemented by a staff both professionally skilled and willing and able to taylor the accommodation most suited to your wishes. Whatever your choice, be it the very generously sized two bedrooms suites, or a standard room, your stay will be unforgettable, and when leaving you could not avoid promising yourself to be back as soon as possible.

Nestled in the heart of the upper city, the Palazzo Impellizzeri di San Giacomo stands as a testament to noble architecture from the 18th century. Constructed in 1752, this magnificent palace showcases a rectangular layout that reflects its evolution through various construction phases. The facade is an exquisite blend of late Baroque and neoclassical styles, offering visitors a visual feast of intricate details and elegant design elements.
(Translated by Google) The Palazzo Impellizzeri di San Giacomo (or more simply Palazzo Impellizzeri) is the most important noble palace in the upper city. It was built during the eighteenth century, as shown by the date on the entrance (1752). The rectangular plan is the result of different construction phases. The facade of this Palace has a mixed appearance, as the late eighteenth-century Baroque blends with elegant decorative elements of neoclassical style. It has an imposing central door on whose sides there are two massive white stone pillars, surmounted by the coat of arms of the Impellizzeri family. Above there is a large balcony enclosed within a sumptuous wrought iron railing. All the windows and balconies are surmounted by rectangular architraves with the exception of the central one which is surmounted by a semi-circular tympanum.
