The Minnesota State Capitol, an architectural gem completed in 1905, stands proudly in St. Paul as a testament to the state's rich history and governance. Designed by the talented architect Cass Gilbert, this Beaux-Arts masterpiece is celebrated for its grand self-supported marble dome—the second largest of its kind globally—and intricate details that reflect Minnesota's natural beauty and heritage.
Stately, august, friendly, welcoming. Business and history mixed as the state House was in session during my visit and lots of tours were taking place (tour guide encouraging schoolchildren to now be a part of history by telling others what they learned). Sergeant at arms guarding the House chamber was kind, polite but firm in telling me what I could/couldn’t do as I approached the open chamber doors. The building was nicely renovated and has great touches to years past, including a museum exhibit on the 3rd floor telling the story of natives, and maintaining things like the interior swinging bathroom doors. I know more about the state than before. What a great welcome to Minnesota!

I was really impressed by the Minnesota State Capitol — it's absolutely stunning inside and out! The marble dome is breathtaking. If you are here on a weekday- the interior is full of beautiful art, historic murals, and grand staircases. Do take a free guided tour, you might go up to the roof for an amazing view of the city. The building feels both historic and alive with politics. If you're in St. Paul, take an hour or two to visit. It's peaceful and photogenic!
Marta S — Google review
A very grand state capital with many floors of beautiful art and architecture. The dome is fantastic. If you take the tour you go up on the dome where the gold chariot is and have a view of St. Paul. The paintings in the Governors office are amazing. Free tour.
Theresa H — Google review
Did a free tour of the capitol while on vacation with my family. The history of the building is fascinating and our guide was very knowledgeable. The architecture is grandiose and stunning, and the views of downtown St. Paul from the rooftop are amazing. Definitely an hour well spent.

The architecture here is absolutely stunning and very detailed. The tour guide was very kind and informative.

We visit a lot of state capitols and this one is beautiful! Allow time to visit all the areas and do some reading, lots of Minnesota history. Make sure you visit the Cathedral of St Paul as well, the interior is amazing!

Wonderful free tours every hour! This building is a masterpiece and the free tour really helped me appreciate it! The roof access was especially impressive!

The Cathedral of Saint Paul, also known as the National Shrine of the Apostle Paul, is a magnificent beaux arts cathedral located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This grand church was built between 1904 and 1915 and boasts French-inspired architecture with a giant 23-meter wide copper dome and spire. Situated on an elevated hilltop, it offers stunning views of the downtown district.
The Cathedral of Saint Paul is the most magnificent cathedral that I have visited to date!! It is beyond breathtaking. We attended 7:30 AM Mass on a Monday morning, and we were in awe… We did not take advantage of the guided tour, but we did return to purchase items from the gift shop. If you’re hoping to join the guided tour, I encourage you to call or fill out the tour availability form online. Visiting Cathedral of Saint Paul is highly recommended for all!!

I only visited the Cathedral of Saint Paul once, but it left a big impression. The architecture is stunning — massive, detailed, and beautiful inside and out. Walking in, you immediately feel the history and sense of peace. Even if you’re not religious, it’s worth stopping by just to take in the design and the atmosphere. Definitely one of the most breathtaking landmarks in Saint Paul!
Kalli A — Google review
First important hint: the doors may look Like they are closed, just go ahead and push it. It may be due to the weather. That said, visiting the Cathedral of Saint Paul is rewarding experience, it warms your soul. Regardless of your religious point of view, just go and feel it, you won’t regret. It is a peaceful place full of art and details. Stained glasses, sculpture, history…and it is indescribable what you feel when someone is playing the pipe organ. It is powerful! Make sure you reserve enough time, if you like details like I do. It is also a great idea to bundle this with other places around like the Minnesota Capitol and WWII memorial. It is a pleasant walk between buildings, specially during the fall with its astonishing colors.

The weekend guard made an already awesome visit both informative and welcoming. Many thanks for keeping this wonderful treasure open most of the time -- its cousin St. Paul's in London charges 35 pounds sterling to visit! (and it's not that much bigger than ours, the third largest US cathedral and sixth largest church in the nation)
V C — Google review
Best two hours of the trip! A true masterpiece and the crown jewel of St. Paul. The architecture is stunning on a grand scale, reminiscent of the great cathedrals in Europe. The interior is vast, peaceful, and filled with beautiful details, from the soaring dome to the intricate stained-glass windows. You don't have to be religious to be moved by the grandeur and history of this place. A must-visit when you're in the Twin Cities.
Terry H — Google review
Such a beautifuland breathtaking Cathedral filled with details and history everywhere. There is a small shop inside, there was a big mass the day of so it was full. And there's a timeline on the bottom.

It's beautifully decorated although slightly dated...if you're into saints and the"Almighty" this is your spot! They have cool booths to hang out in if you want quiet time"with a friend. I didn't care for the wine options and a limited appetizer menu.. crackers but no CHEESE, come on do better... On a positive note, they have plenty of seating! Also it's fair to note that the waiters are all male! FYI, Avoid Sundays it's gets quite busy. BTW Squats are encourage before sitting down but the waiters will not help you back up, be forewarned. #fitnessisnexttogodlyness

The Minnesota History Center, situated in the heart of Saint Paul near the state Capitol buildings, offers over 4,000 square meters of museum space. It showcases a wide range of exhibits and interactive experiences that delve into Minnesota's history, including the presence of Hmong tribespeople and conflicts like the Dakota War. The center also houses the Minnesota History Center Library, which is open to the public for research purposes. Visitors can explore intriguing exhibitions, live performances, and educational programs suitable for all ages.
This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back! There are so many artifacts and exhibits. We arrived at noon and left at closing time 4 pm. Yes, you will need at least 4 hours to truly experience and appreciate all this place has to offer. We had the pleasure of meeting an employee named Carol and her knowledge, charisma and friendliness made our visit so much better! This place is fun for all ages, although the WWII footage and short film might be too graphic for the little ones. Overall, a great place to learn about Minnesota history and its people.

Today was one of the free days. I work at a group home and brought one of the individuals today. He had a blast today. Very interesting to him and it wasn't at a level that was too hard so he didn't understand. There were hands on things to keep people of all ages and mental capabilities engaged. They had the band playing today as well. The view from outside is amazing as well... you can see the Capitol and downtown St. Paul. Definitely recommend going.

We had such a great time at the Minnesota History Center! My kids had an absolute blast — it was so engaging and interactive that we completely lost track of time. We ended up staying for hours and still didn’t get to see everything (we had to leave because the kids were “starving” 😂). There’s so much to learn here for all ages, and it’s presented in such a fun, hands-on way. We’ll definitely be back to explore more. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite places in Minnesota. The Native American exhibits, and the I-35 bridge collapse exhibit are very moving. The military exhibits are also phenomenal, and so immersive for kids. The tornado simulator…. OMG. The list goes on. There are so many cool pieces of Minnesota history here, and interactive exhibits for kids.
Heather L — Google review
Inspiring space. Exhibits touch on key parts of the Minnesota experience. The Native American exhibits are thoughtfully put together. Kids have plenty of room and spaces to go. We enjoyed the short play about a Minnesota member of the Greatest generation. There was also a craft in an atrium. Thanks to all the volunteers.

Such a great experience! Seeing the Greatest Generation exhibit was powerful. I had never been here before and I was blown away with how much they had and the attention to detail they put into everything, including the men and women who do the tours. Very knowledgeable and welcoming.

We went there for a wedding and had a blast. This wedding venue was amazing. The natural light was awesome, the food was delicious, and the dancing was a blast. It was an amazing event space for the special day.

Walked by this place so many times and never went in. Decided to finally check it out this past Saturday and wow! It's beautiful inside, so many unique rooms and wonderful architecture all around. The lower level had a lot of interesting info to read. The man at the info desk was super friendly and kind. Only downside during our visit was an annoying, loud group of young women (wearing pj's!) in the marble room getting ready for a wedding. So we were not able to see this room, which the man at the desk said was the best one. This is a nice, and free, place to check out. So glad they didn't turn it into a parking lot as planned and it was saved. Treasure these places!

This huge beautiful building is located in between Rice Park and Landmark Plaza. It's free to enter and walk around. There isn't much to see, but there are a couple of rooms you can enter and learn a little about the history of how the building was used in the past.

Historic Fort Snelling is a significant National Historic Landmark that dates back to 1819. It played a crucial role in the founding of St. Paul and was strategically located at the confluence of the Mississippi River and the Minnesota River. The fort features well-preserved bulwarks and palisades, offering insights into Minnesota's military history from pre-Civil War to World Wars I and II, as well as its involvement in fur and slave trade.
So nice to have people in some of the buildings explaining what life was like at the fort. They were very knowledgeable and you could tell they loved what they do. The museum was nice. Lots of reading and some places to sit and listen to short presentations. Upstairs there was a 16 minute film. You will learn more about the Dakota Indians and what happened to them. Take time to learn about Dred and Harriet Scott. A very important part of history. Veterans are free!

Fort Snelling State Park is an interesting spot if you happen to be in the Twin Cities. Tucked away near the rivers, it offers a chance to step out of the city chaos and into nature for a walk or hike. You’ll find peaceful trails, wildlife, and a unique setting where history and nature meet. While there’s no camping within this park, other state parks and campgrounds are close by, making it a nice day stop if you’re exploring the area.

July 2 2025 Beautiful day to learn about history. Barely anyone else there. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and compassionate. The golf cart ride from the visitor center to the historic building very much appreciated, definitely helped us save our energy to be able to walk around in the heat and the drivers were great conversationalist. We didn’t have to wait in any lines or for anything. Easy breezey visit.

Fort snelling was very interesting. I've seen a lot of forts and military places. This one's unique. Not only the way it was designed. But where it was how it was used. Really interesting.
John S — Google review
Honestly it doesn’t look as pretty as the pictures I saw before. The bushes in the surrounding are high and doesn’t seem to be well taken care. I come on Wednesday when Google said open but it was actually closed. It’s really hard to see the beauty & the story when you can’t get inside
Denni W — Google review
Interesting place, historic fort. There are countless miles of gorgeous hiking & biking trails.
Kevin J — Google review
I used to come here as a kid on school field trips and thought it was okay, but coming back as an adult was fascinating! Did you know there were slaves here? Neither did I, this area was part of the Union and slavery was illegal. Dred Scott lived at this fort and you can even see his room and get a history lesson on his life and the decision that bears his name. The views of the river are wonderful and there is a fabulous visitor center that offers up a lot of history on the area. This is a must see stop if you love history.
Jill S — Google review
Really cool fort with a nice history, there are placards telling information about the fort you are looking at and they have people dressed in time period clothes giving details and walk through. Worth the stop.

The James J. Hill House, completed in 1891, is a stunning Romanesque mansion located on Summit Avenue. This U.S. National Historic Landmark was the residence of James J. Hill, a prominent railroad magnate. Often referred to as 'Minnesota's Downton Abbey,' the 36,000 square-foot house offers guided tours showcasing its grandeur and authentic details such as stained glass, hand-carved woodwork, and chandeliers.
We went on the guided tour and our guide Mark was very entertaining amd knowledgeable. He encouraged questions amd answered them honestly and let us know of any information he was unsure about. The house itself is beautiful. The architecture is insane and I cannot imagine what it would have looked like fully furnished. It makes me so happy to see pieces of history like this being preserved for future generations.
Sarah R — Google review
This was a wonderful place to visit with so much history I was unaware of. This is the man who started the expansion of the railroads. Everything was so wonderfully kept and stories of the man and family who lived here makes wish I could visit that time. It's a must see if your in the area. It has self guided tours and guided tours. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Went on Saturday and was part of the 3:30pm/last tour group of the day. Bought tickets the day prior and checkin was easy. You can buy tickets there as well. The staff (both front desk + our tour guide) from start to finish were AMAZING! They were so knowledgeable, courteus, and made the tour not only fun but memorable. The manor itself is filled with beautiful wood work, gorgeous glass windows, trinkets of the past, and so much more that I cant put into words.

The James J. Hill house is so cool! If you are just visiting St Paul or if you live in Minnesota its worth checking out! Give yourself about an hour or so to really take it all in. Theres 3 floors plus a basement, there is an elevator to get to the basement (thats where the restroom is). The guides do a fantastic job! Ask them anything you can think of!

Great historical place. Signs were very helpful to give you a background. And you can do a guided tour for 15$.

The history on this house and the size of the house is amazing. Just wish more of the rooms were open and not storage. The tour guides were great. I love how they know so much and you can see their passion for the job shinning through when they talk about the house and answer questions for people. You have a great staff Please let them all know that. ( At one point I accidentally jumped on a different tour group cause I was in a room to long admiring it and that tour guide also had a passion for the job.)💖

This is such a beautiful museum and the story of Mr. Hill and his family is fascinating. I highly recommend that you visit here when you're in Minneapolis.

Great historical place and tour. 12 and 13 yr olds were bored, but, in all fairness, my younger self probably would have been as well. The 10 yr old enjoyed the scavenger hunt aspect of the tour. Make sure to walk or drive around the blocks to see all the houses. Check out the Cathedral if you can (plan ahead).

The museum offers hands-on exhibits and IMAX dome theater movies that explore various scientific disciplines. Visitors can delve into evolution, paleontology, and the natural history of Minnesota, with an extensive collection of fossils including stegosaurus and triceratops bones. Additionally, the museum hosts diverse traveling exhibits such as Viking history and Egyptian mummies.
TONS of activities for all ages to engage your mind and lots of exhibits to see. There are even musical stairs - that was super neat! Dinosaur exhibit, sports activity section, old-time gadget section, shells, tug boat, weather station, ... oh, and make your own tv news broadcast - that was a comical blast!!! - - and so much more. Spent the entire afternoon here & finished with a movie. Parking was safe & easy. Highly recommend.

A Fantastic, Educational, and Fun Experience for All Ages! I recently visited the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul, and it was truly a wonderful experience. This museum is a perfect blend of education and entertainment, offering something for everyone — from curious kids to inquisitive adults. The exhibits are not only informative but also incredibly engaging. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into designing each section to make science accessible, hands-on, and fun. One of the highlights for me was the dinosaur exhibit. The fossil displays were impressive, especially the triceratops skeleton, and the interactive stations explaining paleontology were great for kids and adults alike. Another standout was the Human Body Gallery, which had fascinating displays on anatomy, health, and even real preserved organs (not for the squeamish, but definitely educational!).The museum also features rotating exhibits — when I visited, there was one about climate change and sustainability that was both eye-opening and hopeful. It didn’t just present the problems, but also showed real-world solutions and how people can take action. The staff and volunteers were friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to answer questions or guide you through the exhibits. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of places to sit, snack, or take a break. The gift shop and café were also enjoyable additions to the experience. If you're in the Twin Cities area, this museum is absolutely worth a visit. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, the Science Museum of Minnesota is an enriching destination that makes learning truly enjoyable!

This is a wonderful hands on interactive science museum with so many fun places for kids and adults to learn. The IMAX movie was fantastic. Dinosaurs and the human body exhibits were excellent. Have a nice lunch on the Mississippi River.

I was surprised I had to pay for entrance since every other state I've lived in was free. $60 for me and the kid. Kids hotdog was $12 for just a regular old dog. Double Smash burger was $20. Way over priced place I think. Other than that they are a very nice museum. The T.Rex Imax was great. 8yo loved it. Not over crowded and very clean. I actually like St Paul much better than Minneapolis.
Johnny R — Google review
Worth the visit! Family of 4 (including 15yo & 10yo) spent 3 hours here and truthfully could have easily spent 4 hours covering the 3 floors of hands on fun. * get tickets ahead of time and avoid the entrance bottleneck * we paid $19 to park next door in river view parking lot.

Had a great experience with the Family I have a 9 ,7 and 2 year old. What a great time we had fun for all. We ended with lunch at Mickey's Diner.

Nasty outside? Spend the day here. All ages will enjoy these exhibits. Whether it's your first or fifty-fifth time there is always something new to discover. Arrive at 9am or later 2 hours before close for the most quiet time. You'll need at least an hour and a half to truly discover everything but older kids can blast through things quite quickly. The ages that will enjoy this the most are 3-12 but anyone with an open mind will have a great time. Please make sure to use hand sanitizer frequently to avoid spreading germs. Validate your parking ticket at the desk inside MCM.

My children had a great experience. So much to explore. We can't wait to go back. I did order tickets in advance online, it was very easy and convenient. My 7 year old daughter says the best part of the museum was the city room with the post office, grocery store, and other play areas. My 1 year old son loved the room with the ping pong balls.
Abigail W — Google review
It was well worth the money. There are several areas for the children to play in and so many different things for them to do. It’s very stimulating for the children and they can play here for hours would definitely come again.

My first visit there, even though I was taking all precautions, even as an adult I got hands, feet and mouth disease there. Bad case of it. They do not do a good job of sanitizing. It's great they have hand sanitizers everywhere but both times I visited (total 2), I didn't see anyone wiping down anything. In fact there was a scrunched up dirty paper towel in the the 3/under play area and I told the worker, he just picked it up with his bare hands and never wiped down the surface. Just returned to his employee room that is there in that area. I gave it 4 stars because it's a super fun place!! I did have issues with my welcome (member) email coming through. I spoke with 3 people then they re sent it. I recommend checking the site for parking info, special events, etc when planning your trip. One thing it will mention is bring a pair of extra clothes/shoes because there is a lot of water play there.

This place is great! My niece had a great time and burned off a ton of energy running around. I loved all the signage encouraging ages 1 to 100+ to enjoy different parts of the museum. I appreciated that in almost every area, there was an older kid version and a younger kid version which made the museum really diverse. Highly recommend the ball launcher area!

We always get the yearly pass! It’s a trek from the south metro but honestly it’s worth it for a full day of activities and all in one place. We went to the Halloween event this year and although their socials stated they were sold out with limited tickets available for walk-in. We walked in and there were consistently 2 people in line (which moved fast as they were properly staffed). The staff member who helped us get tickets advised that the tickets weren’t really limited as it’s hard to turn away kids with costumes! We checked in, it was definitely busy so keep your littles close. They had their normal play stations open along with trick or treat at every corner handing out handful of candies. They also had extra activities like make your own Chex mix, Halloween bingo, build your own glow in the dark crown, light up ghosts (out of modeling clay), build a spider ring, etc. It’s always fun for the kids and they had curious George theme in their seasonal playroom.

The best children's museum I've been to! Mutlilevels, highly interactive, sensory materials, and fun themes throughout. We were fortunate to come during the Wild Kratts exhibit which my daughter loves. Be prepared to bring a few change of clothes as there is water play areas. Our highlights were the special exhibit, lasers, and car wash!

Step into the past and explore the Alexander Ramsey House, a well-preserved Victorian mansion in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This historic house museum offers guided tours during the summer and special Victorian Christmas tours during the holiday season. Built in 1868, this architectural masterpiece is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and provides insight into the life and culture of the 1870s.
Victorian Christmas tour was full for weekend. The start at the visitors center is decked with many seasonal items along with historical books. No pics allowed in the house itself! Guides in period dress relate the customs of the time and stories of the Ramsey family. Nicely appointed with Christmas tree in the parlor, and cookies from the wood burning stove offered to visitors. Well worth $12 admission for one hour tour.

So fascinating and worth the price and time. Be ready for a few stairs and some very interesting stories. Many items are original, and some are replaced as close to original as possible. Ask questions - the tour guides are super knowledgeable!

Good tour guide. House is interesting with a good mix of house detail versus what was going on in the world during that age while the Ramsey's lived there. Very engaging and calm.

Families with young children will find it particularly engaging, as there are numerous interactive displays highlighting the unique train, bus, and streetcar history of Saint Paul and its surroundings.
If you like trains, this is the place for you. This was a Personal Bucket List event for me. You can have as much fun as you make of it for $10 an adult. Great price! It isn’t air conditioned, so you should go when the weather and temperature’s right for you. Excellent group of volunteers for your information needs. Don’t be afraid to ask them any questions if you have any, they will help you. I loved this activity. Enjoy…
Jeff B — Google review
Fun part of American RR history. It's great to be able to walk from one end of the train to the other (unfortunately not the engine). They have several different types of rail cars and share the history of each. The views are wonderful. The only negative is the cars that have air conditioning isn't very cool. The other cars have open windows.
Larry F — Google review
The ride was great. It would’ve been nice to have more colors on the leaves, but that’s a hard thing to plan. The cars have speakers in them so I don’t know why there isn’t some type of narration. Some examples; the history of the area, history of the railroad, add a little information about how old the cars are where they got them, etc.a little heads up on what scenery may be coming up, the waterfall, the trestle. We enjoyed the trip, it’s just it would’ve been better to have some type of narration.
Steve R — Google review
Fun family activity with full-size train engines you can access, elaborate models, a caboose ride, view of the roundhouse, and tours of the repair/work area and blacksmith. My 6 and 9-year-olds were delighted. I was impressed by their accessibility considerations: it has sensory-friendly hours and a busy station. 💙
Angela B — Google review
If you are willing to pay for ticket(s) to look at trains and be able to touch some interactible things, it is worth it.I was able to get a full tour by a kind old man. It was kind of slow, but we went through the entire place, backstage areas included, in around 2 hours. There are many old and decommissioned trains to look at and interact with. The experience is very interactive in my opinion. But the tour by the staff was a bit slow. I wouldn't say that it was their fault since lots of the staff there are old, which is very reasonable.
Leo L — Google review
If the weather had cooperated the leaves would have been prettier but the scenery was beautiful regardless. My only complaints would be that they list the fall color train as 90 minutes but it is very misleading as was only 60 minutes of train ride. The other 30 was basically either prepping to leave or when it had to reverse coming back. Also when asked what side is better to sit the volunteer said both sides are good as when coming back it swaps sides, but it doesn't as we viewed same side on way back looking out our windows. Luckily we sat on the side that got the best view (side furthest from entry/loading). Also, I would recommend bringing your own snacks/drinks as you're allowed. And get there in plenty of time as parking is very limited. To me the price paid was expensive for what we got.
Kari H — Google review
My husband and I shared a table with another couple on the "pizza" train. The pizza was locally made and was very, very good. Hot and ready when we boarded. They supplied water and a yummy brownie for dessert. We had a really great time with the couple seated with us. The train ride was nostalgic and informative. The crew were volunteers who loved trains. They were all very nice and knowledgeable. We absolutely would do it again.
Cindilee J — Google review
I got tickets for a fall colors train ride for me and my boyfriend for our two year anniversary. I knew he would like it but I didn't realize how much we would both LOVE it. We had so much fun and every single staff person we talked to was so helpful and kind and knowledgeable. We're already planning our next trip. If you're planning on going definitely get there 30 min early and get ready for an amazing experience

Great place to take the family do a little fishing, not much for walking but there is a great ice cream shop within walking distance from pretty much anywhere from the boat landing to the danm it's right in between 2 scoops is the name if I remember correctly awesome place you have to check it out, the wife is bigger fisher than me, loves to fish would do it sun up to sun down daily if she could I always joke about her getting a sugar daddy with a nice boat because I'll never be able to afford a cheap one, :) but in reality im not joking she deserves to be able to experience a real fishing trip she's an awesome person does nothing for herself but everything for others so it's kinda a bummer that no matter how hard I try it's pretty much out of reach so anyways anyone want to take a, fun bait her own hook kind of gal on a fishing trip let me know I'd let her go in a heartbeat wow that was quite the rant anyways awesome place can catch a fish or 2 not only did the wife catch her first pike but she was reeling in a sunny when the pike hit pretty happy girl she was

Beautiful stadium, great variety of concessions including a ridiculously extra 6' hot dog. The Saints games are really a treat, there are fun activities between each inning, the announcing is good, people are generally friendly and good-natured, and parking isn't impossible. We're lucky to have a stadium like this in town!

Easy to get into the park. Parking is a bit of a walk, but affordable. One of the only Coca-Cola venues around the Twin Cities. Attended first Banana Ball game in Minnesota.

Great AAA ballpark. Great for families with lots of open areas to watch the game. Very cool activities between innings to keep you entertained. Lots of parking. We paid $10 for parking 1 block from the stadium. Concessions are not cheap but are great quality. They have a cool beer park in left field that’s worth a visit. Well stocked team store for all your St Paul Saints gear!

Easy to get to. Parking is always reasonably priced for Saints games. The park has a great selection of concessions. The Minnesota Saints are the best value for a ticket in the Twin Cities. The park always does an amazing job with fireworks displays for events.

We went for the banana ball league game. Was a very entertaining game, and a great ballpark. Like all venues, prices are high with sodas alone costing around 6 dollars per bottle. Again, venue setting. Nice seats, great views and a beautiful day.

Wonderful stadium, big crowd. Lots of fun activities on the field between innings. Lots of mascots in the stands... oh... and my team won!

Banana Ball !!! Our first Banana Ball game but had a blast and would highly recommend if you have the opportunity, they do a great job with the crowd, constant interaction, you won’t quit laughing long enough to get bored. Also out first time @ CHS Field, great place, good crowd flow, never once did I have to wait for the bathroom ! The only down fall is everyone exits out the main entrance and funneling everyone to one exit, so naturally it gets congested but still isn’t horrible!! Great field!! Great baseball league !! Surrounded by some of the city’s most iconic buildings — including the Landmark Center, Ordway, and the Saint Paul Hotel — the park offers a peaceful, scenic spot to relax, people-watch, or enjoy a stroll. Beautiful riverside station with classic architecture. Staff were incredibly helpful, and there are plenty of cafés and grab-and-go options. Caught the sunrise here-absolutely stunning. Clean, organized, and easy to navigate. Highly recommend!
Ayça K — Google review
I didn’t know the depot had a museum located on the 2nd floor. It was nice to see all the beautiful history in this building it was great to see what kind of growth in it and around the area. Many things for your convenience located inside the station a restaurant, store, free library and shoe shine. The weekend has the farmers market just a block away with a great selection. Very great staff helping my daughter on her first train ride. Train was on time. The staff said they work hard to make sure the flow goes well. They are great directing people to the section they need to go. I also was pleased to see how they also use the location for local community activities. This weekend they were having an art fair, many vendors filled the area. For the most part I think this looks a little like it is still frozen in time. The restoration that was done looks great. One sad thing…The parking was disappointing even on the weekend the parking below always says full and are not available because they have now rented out to people for monthly spots. There was a vendor for the fair that had to go two blocks with her inventory because the parking for the visitors of the depot is not available. She still had to pay the $4 even though she wasn’t there 5 minutes to be able to turn around. I have handicap tags he almost didn’t let me go in either. He would not even look at my disabled plates without me insisting to look. I have plates but because my daughter was traveling she had her tag with us. Then when he did let us in he gave me attitude and followed us to make sure we parked in the ADA approved spots. My vendor friend was not able to park there even thought we saw 20 + open spots. Those are not left available for people using the union depot, that is very disappointing. I would have given a 5 star except the parking issue and that staff working it had a poor attitude. Once we were in the building everyone was very helpful.

Went a couple of days ago June 17th to be exact, maybe an hour before closing time and the woman behind the counter charged me $10 for a copy I wrote to ask the judge for a continuance. She also sent me downstairs to ask for papers on my case for court and a blank piece of paper. I was the only one in the lobby and then someone else came maybe 5 mins later. I dont believe this woman likes her job very much..she was difficult, lazy and had the audacity to charge $10 for a copy of one piece of paper. I went last month and the clerk was very friendly made copies right there and was a big help.

So many venues! Great French food at Meritage or for good beer there is Great Waters brewery and eatery, park square theater , HEIMES Haberdashery Sonens pet store , Landmark Jewlers and the Vieux Carr'e a French quarter inspired jazz and blues club with great new Orleans style food.

A decent craft beer selection. I like the new higher tables, the distance and space between them allow for some privacy, food was okay but nothing really special

Mill City Museum is a captivating destination that offers an immersive experience into the history of Minneapolis and the flour industry. Housed within the reconstructed ruins of the Washburn "A" Mill, visitors can explore interactive exhibits that narrate the city's evolution alongside the flour industry. The museum, located on the banks of the Mississippi Riverfront, provides insight into how this industry shaped Minneapolis' growth. As part of the St.
We had a fantastic time at the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis. It’s built right into the ruins of an old flour mill, which gives it a really unique and historic atmosphere. The museum does a great job of telling the story of how Minneapolis became the flour milling capital of the world. The Flour Tower ride was an awesome experience. It’s an elevator-style tour that stops at different levels and shows what life was like when the mill was running.👌👌 There are a lot of hands-on exhibits, You can even learn about baking and water power in really interactive ways. rooftop observation deck—the views of the Mississippi River and the Stone Arch Bridge are absolutely. Convenient paid parking is available nearby

We absolutely adored this museum (and I am really not a museum lover). We loved the quirky introduction Video that gave an overview of the city throughout the years and how the flour mill fit into the economic growth of the city. All of the “artifacts” were so nostalgic and brought back so many fun memories of days gone by! Our kids 17, 14 & 11 loved all of the interactive activities (not just cool for little kids). My daughter and I loved putting together the large wooden block puzzle. The highlight though is the tower tour…think Tower of Terror without the drop and the terror haha! It was set up in a similar fashion with nostalgic scenes of the flour mill how it would have looked in its prime and also people’s accounts/voices that actually worked there, sharing their memories! It was so intriguing! Do not hesitate going to this museum! It was such a fun and unique experience.

We had a way better time than we expected. The elevator guided part of the tour was neat, good information. Great views of the falls, river and stone arch bridge from the observation deck. Enjoyed seeing the history and learning a bit about the flour milling process. No complaints and the street parking was simple, paid $5 I think for 2 hours, which was plenty to do the museum.
James M — Google review
Set on the scenic banks of the Mississippi River, Minneapolis’s Mill City Museum is a striking fusion of industrial ruin, architectural innovation, and regional history—and easily one of the most memorable cultural destinations in the Midwest. From the moment you approach the museum, you’re greeted by the towering remains of the Washburn “A” Mill, once the largest flour mill in the world and the beating heart of Minneapolis’s late 19th-century identity as the “Flour Milling Capital of the World.” The iconic “Gold Medal Flour” sign still sits proudly atop the historic grain elevators, a nostalgic beacon linking the city’s modern energy to its industrious past. The structure itself is a work of art: a masterclass in adaptive reuse. The museum integrates preserved stone ruins of the original mill—some walls charred and scarred by past fires and explosions—with sleek glass-and-steel walkways and modern installations. From the outdoor courtyard and the massive glass façade etched with mill schematics, visitors are literally walking through history, surrounded by ghost traces of what once was. Inside, the museum captures the ingenuity and grit of Minneapolis’s industrial age. The preserved machinery, gears, pulleys, and antique steam engines are fascinating in their own right—but they’re made more compelling by thoughtful interpretation. From vintage tractors to flour sifters, each artifact tells a story of labor, technology, and transformation. The immersive exhibits, such as the Flour Tower elevator show (which re-creates the life of the mill), add a dramatic and cinematic dimension to the visit. A particular highlight is the view from the observation deck. It offers sweeping panoramas of the Mississippi River and the Stone Arch Bridge, with its elegant curves and pedestrian-friendly path, linking past to present. It’s a spot that invites reflection—on the river that powered the mills and on the city that rose from them. The museum doesn’t just celebrate machinery—it celebrates people. Exhibits thoughtfully highlight the lives of mill workers, immigrants, and women who shaped the milling industry, making this not just an architectural experience, but a deeply human one. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture lover, or simply looking for a unique and enriching afternoon in Minneapolis, Mill City Museum delivers. It’s a rare place where ruins speak, machines hum stories, and the Mississippi keeps flowing—as it always has—just outside.

Fun museum with lots to look at and an amazing viewing deck. The elevator tour was quirky and enjoyable, only running about 10 minutes long, leaving lots of time to explore the rest of the museum. Everyone working there was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back!
Willow — Google review
This was a good museum. I especially liked the elevator tour. You travel up and down the building in an elevator to see the different floors and hear stories of what it was like to work in the mill through recordings of actual workers. The view from the top floor is excellent.
Kriste B — Google review
Enjoyed my museum visit here. The flour tower tour was an interesting concept where you get to ride the elevator up and down and learn along the way. Wished the museum offers a little bit more hands on types of things like being able to operate the various equipments to get a taste of how it was like rather than only seeing or reading about it. The view on the observation deck floor is great!

Very good museum with some wonderful views of the Mississippi River. Be sure to take the elevator to the top for the views. The inside displays explain the history of the area and about the flour powerhouses of their time. Well worth several hours of time to visit.

The Guthrie Theater, a renowned venue in Minneapolis, offers a diverse range of plays across its three stages. The theater also features full-service dining, multiple bars, and scenic river views. Established in 2006 to replace the original Guthrie Theater near the Walker Art Center, the new facility includes various amenities such as costume and set shops, storage spaces, classrooms, and a gift shop offering unique merchandise.
Was in the area for the farmers market. Heard that the theater was open for touring, so we took advantage of the opportunity. The entire facility is so creatively designed. Plenty of areas showcase interesting architectural forms. And then there are the spots that allow different views of the surrounding area. They use a combination of form, light, and space to stimulate your senses. Really enjoyed the cantilevered (blue) structure that led outside to an open area for viewing the river and bridges. Didn't actually get to see the theater itself — those areas were not open to the public. So glad we had a chance to check it out.

We went to see Mid summers night dream, the story was pretty good, the acting was professional and fun. The stage however felt like it was high school level with a $70 price attached... Unimpressed by the stage set up. It needs more props, more bang, more animation and more uniqueness. Beautiful facility though with good actors and a lot of potential if they improve the stage sets.

While scholarships are great, the lack of professor diversity, poor commuter accessibility, and the university’s focus on profit over people make it not worth it. Find a university that truly knows your name, sees your value beyond a number, and respects you for who you are—not just for what you contribute to their diversity stats or bottom line.

I appreciated the college’s academic programs and the staff I interacted with were generally helpful and professional. However, I was disappointed with the financial aid process. Before committing, I received an estimated aid offer that made it seem like I was getting an incredible bargain. After I accepted, the official aid letter arrived showing I owed $843, which was unexpected and caused financial strain. This lack of clear communication about the final costs made me feel misled. I hope the college improves transparency in its financial aid communications to help future students make more informed decisions.

Overpriced for what it is. I regret attending this place. Counselors don't care about you and hate when you have any questions. Administrators are cold and rude, especially if you have questions about tuition. Professors were excellent depending on the class. Some professors horrible, didn't teach well at all and played favorites in class. Unfortunately, unable to develop strong relationships with professors because they're too busy to get to know any of their students. Too bad, would have been nice to have some kind of mentorship. Of course the campus is big and quite nice with all the grand facilities but no time to enjoy it when I'm juggling 2 jobs and studying all the time. I won't recommend this place to any of my neices or nephews and definitely won't allow my kids to go here either. Not worth it.

Students and parents need to be aware of their potential university's policy on AI use. Find out prior to deciding whether to attend, so not to have possibility of being erroneously accused. U of Michigan and some other universities allow AI as a tool of learning. Even professors' own writing/assignments indicate AI use. U of Maryland research finds on publicly available AI detectors are sufficiently reliable. Articles in NY times, WaPo and Business Week are worth reading.

The Weisman Art Museum, designed by the renowned architect Frank O. Gehry, is a modern stainless steel and brick building located near the Mississippi River on the University of Minnesota campus. The museum's stunning exterior often draws attention from visitors due to its unique design, especially at sunset. Inside, it houses a diverse collection of over 25,000 works of art including American and contemporary paintings, ceramics, Korean furniture, and special exhibitions throughout the year.
This museum is a gem. Architecture is best seen from the river front entrance as far as I can tell. Appreciated the diversity of exhibits heavy (incarceration/partition) to laughter. I am visiting and it was a worthy reprieve between conference sessions. And a fun walk across the bridge back to downtown. It’s free too. My visit was Saturday at lunch time. There’s a space to just sit in a space with lots of light so a good rest spot too.

This is a bit of a hidden gem of a museum that ois on the UMinn campus. It is FREE, for one thing! It has a really fun facade that makes it one of more unique buildings in the Cities and certainly on campus. There is a fun Cities concept exhibit that talks about you can think of different City concepts than the norm, and it has an interesting sky way map in the downtown Minneapolis. A variety of classic and modern-ish art displays. A great reason Togo to campus and then explore a very beautiful campus as well!

PROS: Worthy and relevant example of great contemporary architecture. Fine urban relations to be explored and discovered. CONS: limited visit hours. Extremely difficult to observe from the surrounding, largely due to the U. of Minnesota’s public access restrictions to its buildings across the bridge on the opposite side of the Mississippi River.

I'm honestly not much of an art museum fan. But I do enjoy unusual architecture and this building piqued my interest. Plus, it is free admission. The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul is a contemporary venue that hosts theater, dance, and music productions as well as arts-education programs. The LGBTQ community in St. Paul is spread out across the city, with many great neighborhoods to call home. The city offers a wide range of condos and single-family homes at varying prices and styles.
I enjoyed every moment of my visit here. The staff were warm and willing to assist when called upon. The seats were plush. The acoustics in the auditorium were beautiful. The overall experience were exceptional. The next time I visit, I’ll park in the parking ramp next to the establishment but that has nothing to do with the Ordway. What a classic night!

Nice venue for chamber orchestra. The seats are fairly comfortable, sound is good, ushers and staff are very helpful and courteous. Would be nice to have popcorn. Bathroom choices are mostly gendered, and there are few accessible / family / ungendered options.
Davi G — Google review
The Ordway is hands down the best theater in the Twin Cities. Why, you might ask? Unlike other theaters, the seats are spacious. The seat back in front doesn't hit your knees. There's barely any bad seats in the house. The concert hall is pretty much acoustically perfect. The lobby alone is luxurious and the concessions usually have imaginative drinks for the big shows. It's literally a red carpet experience every time. Disclaimer: I serve on the board of directors.
Noel N — Google review
Our Hamline University student got us tickets in advance to the free open house for the Ordway’s 40th Anniversary event. This allowed for us to skip having to wait in line at the door. Once inside, we chose to do the Penguin Hunt, where stamps are provided wherever you find a penguin during the event. At the end, a penguin sticker gets awarded as the prize. Along the way, we encountered countless very helpful stewards of the theatre, who guided us through the building while telling us stories about staff and performers who have graced the halls since its inception in 1985. My favorite part was learning about the history of Puerto Rican music (Bomba) and culture in Saint Paul, while singing that ‘the plantation is up in flames; therefore we are free’. Maria Isa was fantastic and inclusive when teaching two of the most popular beats of the genre. Overall, it was a fantastic cultural experience fit for all ages. I highly recommend connecting with the arts community in Saint Paul at the Ordway!
Dr. N — Google review
I love that seating at the Ordway is modern and is akin to stadium-seating. That definitely helps because I am short lol The theater itself is grand and beautiful. Pro tip, if you have a small bladder like me and are seated upstairs in the mezzanine and balcony, choose seats on the Right side of the theater as that's where the bathrooms are. In the orchestra section, the bathrooms are in the center. I am a huge Broadway fan and go to almost all official tours that come through the Twin Cities. Bear in mind that sometimes, "Broadway" shows that come to the Ordway are regional, non-equity shows. This means they are not Broadway union affiliated and are smaller productions of a show that once played on Broadway. There's a difference, IYKYK. Basically, that might mean the set design, costumes, maybe the interpretation is different from what you may have seen on Broadway. That also sometimes means they don't sell merchandise because of limited resources. It's a bummer because I love collecting Broadway merch. Many seats at the Ordway are quite expensive, on par with Broadway prices. However, there are the Balcony box seats or "obstructed view" seats that could go for $45. We've sat at both and I'd take the obstructed view because often the obstruction (the safety railing) isn't really in the way of much. There are also $30 rush tickets but I live far from St Paul to chance not getting a seat at rush.
Karrisa A — Google review
I went to the Ordway Performing Arts Center to see The Addams Family, and it was absolutely amazing! The cast was incredible, the music and choreography were spot on, and the whole show was full of energy and fun. The set design and costumes really brought the story to life. Such a great experience — I’d definitely go again and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, high-quality show!
Haley H — Google review
I really liked the seats that we had. It was a shorter row in the back of 4 seats. I could see everything pretty well. Nobody was blocking my view of the stage like at other places. The staff helped us find our seats very quickly. Bathrooms are easy to locate. Parking was easy to find nearby.
Kelsea T — Google review
The shows are good, but please fix your ticketing system! It is archaic, does not accommodate more than one contact without being hopelessly messed up, and will not delete old, incorrect, or duplicate contacts (duplicates exist due to trying to set up an account in the past and getting bizarre error messages, then at some point the accounts - which supposedly didn't exist - got combined). Even the people at the box office couldn't figure it out. One guy claimed it was because we changed the password...um, no, that's not it. They don't seem to care and act like it's fixed now, when it is not. It's amazing that something this simple is so screwed up. Not getting the tickets until 48 hours before the show is a problem too - what if you want to share or gift them to someone else? Please get a better system!!

A gem of a music museum located in the heart of St Paul. Was lucky enough to catch a tour of the music museum here at Schubert club. Was blown away by the collection of antique and operable pianos dating back as far as the 1800s. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and presented information in a way that all audience of the tour we're able to understand. He was really good at engaging even the youngsters. Some of the pianos we're able to be played by members of the tour. In other areas of the museum you can play keyboards while watching a video with the instructor teaching various styles of music. Lastly we got to meet a conservator of instruments. He explained to us how his job is unique and what he does to make old instruments playable. I also learned that this museum is part of the club that offers music education to its community members. A wonderful place if you're into music. Whether you play or don't play instruments it is a place to visit. Highly recommended for children as well. Again kudos to the volunteers at work here.

It's been remodeled outside, so it took away a little nostalgia for me but still enjoyed seeing it. **I didn't go inside the house**

Nothing really to see here at this point as they have erected a fence around it while it apparently is being remodeled. Parked a beater pickup in front, maybe to deter folks like me from randomly riding by and taking photos. Oops. At any rate, it's not worth the ride by at this point.

They have a beer and thc liquor. I had an Arnie Palmer one. It was delicious! They have 🍪 that are gluten-free and delicious! The atmosphere is a lovely ambiance. The live band they had playing was phenomenal 🙌 👏 👌 should be on America's Got Talent.

What a great concert and venue. Scout Willis opened for Kingfishr and folks just check both out. Unbelievable voices and the energy they exude is infectious. Simply Brilliant.

One of the best venues in Mpls and, in my opinion, anywhere I've been. I have seen many of my favorite musicians here. Langhorne Slim, the High 48s, Jillian Rae, Elle PF, Communist Daughter, Mark Mallman, & Jig Jam come to mind. The ticket prices are very affordable all the time. I have always been greeted with positive attitudes from the volunteers and staff. Be sure to check out one of the finest venues in this city, nay, the world!

I came here to see a band in the middle of winter, until then I had never heard of this place before so didn’t know what to expect. Tickets for the show were inexpensive so that was a great start. Getting to the theatre, I was loving the big sign they have calling it out. Parking across the street in the garage was easy (but not free). Inside the stage is fairly small, although I was in at the last second I was really close to the stage. They had a giant coat rack for everyone’s coat in the corner which speaks about the size of this place. The folks serving drinks were really cool and friendly, smile from ear to ear. Overall this place is really pleasant and I know to expect a good time if I find myself here again.

A great place to catch a live performance! Sound man was spot on with the mix. The bar had a plethora of craft beer choices. The only knock is that there is crappy parking choices. Get an Uber/Lyft and you're ahead of the game.

U.S. Bank Stadium, located in Minneapolis, is a hub for sports and entertainment. It is home to the Minnesota Vikings NFL team and has hosted major events like Super Bowl LI. The stadium boasts a unique design with a translucent roof and pivoting glass doors, as well as the Legacy Ship featuring fan-donated bricks and historical markers. Visitors can take guided tours to learn about the stadium's history and architecture.
Amazing stadium, and I've been to 15 NFL stadiums. Slightly biased because I am a Vikings fan, but the views are amazing, the half glass roof is very cool, and the ultimate fan stadium tour available before game days is amazing! You get to actually go play on the field! No stadium has that

Was there for Sunday Night Game. Vikings vs Falcons. This is a first class experience. Great stadium, friendly staff, great presentation and all around great time. Would have gave them a 5 star rating but, they need to follow Atlanta's example and lower their prices. $65 for parking, $80 for 4 beers, and the food was so expensive I didn't even bother.
Ken H — Google review
Beautiful stadium! Seating was great, well marked, easy access. Lots of food and drink options. Large TV screens for replays. We were in level 2 and could see the field clearly. We enjoyed our whole experience. Helpful to know, bring a clear bag. The mini black bag I had that only held my cell phone was too big per their rules. Skip the hassle and just bring a small clear bag.

We went to a Vikings and Eagles game. We had a good time. This was our first time to this new stadium. It is built and laid out really well. Lots of bathrooms and lots of places to get something to eat. We parked about 10 minutes walk away. Parking was about $35 since it was event parking.
Jason B — Google review
First time at the new stadium and it’s a big upgrade from the previous. Easy entry. Not far to walk from the entrance to the seating area. They have specific parking lots for each entrance and when you buy a ticket they tell you what entrance is best for you specifically. That was amazing. Parking is still expensive and so are tickets but if I’m talking about the stadium alone 5/5. Sounded great also! Went for McCartney (2025).

I visited U.S. Bank Stadium on October 19 to watch the Vikings take on the Eagles, it was an unforgettable experience. The stadium is absolutely stunning, from the outside the architecture alone is a sight to see, modern and impressive with sleek lines and a bold presence. Inside, the natural daylight pouring through the roof makes the whole space feel open and vibrant, adding to the excitement of game day. One thing that stood out was how well-designed the stadium is for fans. There were plenty of bathrooms and tons of places to grab food and beer, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable without long waits or hassle. But the best part of all? Being a Vikings fan in that sea of purple. Nothing beats joining in on the SKOL chant and hearing the Gjallarhorn echo through the stadium, it truly gives you chills. It’s a moment that makes you feel like part of something huge. U.S. Bank Stadium exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can’t wait to be back. SKOL! 🏈💜

We went for a Vikings game (shocking I know). The vibe at the games is unmatched. It’s such a fun experience. Most concessions take card only, so be aware of that. I never felt too hot or too cold during the game. The views are great, no matter your seat. Parking is a mess, as you’d expect. I’d recommend parking a few blocks away to try to get away from traffic and not pay an arms and a leg. Just walk it. You’ll be fine. Be ready to walk, the stadium is huge and it with the crowds it can take a while to get around. If you have the chance to go to a game, it’s definitely worth it.
Billy P — Google review
Attending a Vikings game offers a unique and engaging experience, regardless of one's allegiance, making it a worthwhile activity for business travelers or vacationers. The atmosphere, including the "Skol" chant and the excitement following each score, is exhilarating. The fans are fun, and the stadium provides a vibrant and memorable setting, making it an excellent way to spend a Sunday.

Stone Arch Bridge, located in downtown Minneapolis at the intersection of West River Road and Portland Ave, is a historic former railroad bridge that offers stunning panoramic views of St. Anthony Falls. Built in 1883 by James J. Hill, it served as a vital transportation link until 1965 and is now a symbol of the railroad age. This National Historic Engineering Landmark forms part of the two-mile St. Anthony Falls Heritage Trail, featuring pedestrian walkways and bicycle lanes for year-round outdoor enjoyment.
Beautiful bridge and park surrounding it. The bridge was closed for construction on the Minneapolis side when we went so we couldn’t walk across unfortunately.

What’s not to say!? The iconic stone arch bridge of Minneapolis! There’s a wonderful ice cream truck at the Mill Ruins Park (on the west side of the bridge) that you should check out!!
Thanuja R — Google review
Yay! The bridge is finally open! I took my family for a walk there recently, and we had a great time enjoying the views of the city, the waterfall, and the natural surroundings. Parking was easy to find. There’s a lot available, as well as street parking on both sides of the bridge.
Xiao K — Google review
This beautiful historical landmark pedestrian bride is a part of the St Anthony Falls Heritage Trail. I recommend taking a stroll on the whole trail. Its only 1.8 miles and clearly marked.

This is a nice place to walk to and they have several signs along the way giving you a bit of the history as well as there is a audio you can upload and listen to.

Local history museum
The Bloomington Historical Society, housed in the Old Town Hall, is a longstanding museum that offers a rich exploration of local history through various exhibits and resources. It provides an enriching experience for visitors interested in delving into the region's past, showcasing historical events and cultural evolution. The museum features a study library, exhibitions, and knowledgeable volunteer staff who are dedicated to preserving and sharing Bloomington's heritage.
Last weekend I took my daughter here. I wanted to show her old stuff and teach her about history. The people working there were very nice and had a lot of information to share with us. Then we went outside and I showed her my brick. I have for my father who passed away. My father grew up in Bloomington, so when he passed away, I decided I would buy a brick in his memory.

At the corner of Penn Avenue South and Old Shakopee Road, the Old Town Hall is one of the few remaining pieces of architecture from Bloomington's 19th century and and one of the last old town halls in the metropolitan area. Built in 1892, the building was once the community's assembly place for public meetings, church services and social gatherings.
Mick M — Google review
The volunteer staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Plan a visit to reminisce and learn more if you grew up here, or if you are new to Bloomington to gain insight into our rich history.
Patty B — Google review
A great little museum inside the old town hall. The building itself has a lot of neat history. The staff are all volunteers and work hard to keep the place running and looking good. A gem of Bloomington, to be sure!

Lots of artifacts from Early Bloomington. We attended a concert in there and it was cozy with excellent sound. You can get close to the displays. It didn't have a funky smell either!
