This was a quaint little place. Sat on the patio upstairs and had a small pastry and some coffee. They have a call button for service which was very nice. We got to be alone without being bothered until we needed something. The art on the walls was very cool.

This is a very cozy place in a trendy/traditional neighborhood which makes it very attractive, the menu is very nice and different from other places's around town. If you go there, make sure to try a bagel. ---RECENT UPDATE--- Pizza here is great, service is even better, and the ambiance is great.

The avocado toast was good, I've had better but I was still satisfied with my meal. I didn't have any of the cakes but they looked amazing.

We were underwhelmed. The food was just OK. The service was slow (even for the dessert order) and a bit difficult that day. What a wonderful breakfast experience in Cali! We ate here twice during our visit, partly because it is bright and airy and just a very welcoming ambiance. Our favorites were the avocado toast, the spinach omelette and eggs your way with several add-in options. And even better were the bakery items, especially those you can dunk in tea. We tried several and liked them all. Oh, and the special hot chocolate was absolutely decadent. Our server was especially patient given our limited Spanish and the owner was kind and interesting, even talking us through duplicating one of their desserts when we return home. Definitely a place not to miss when you visit Cali! Thank you Zahavi!!

This is one of my top Breakfast or late lunch restaurants located in El Peñon. The staff is very polite, the food is fresh and delicious 😋. I enjoy with a nice cappuccino or fresh squeezed juice.

I think they took some of the previous posts about service seriously as the service we received was excellent. My juice took a little long to come out but our server let us know as soon as we ordered that it would take longer so I was okay with it.

Lovely food, good service and great selection of homemade cakes and pastries. Really loved the vibe, open restaurant with a breeze. Colombians should realise a toilet seat is a basic item not a luxury and when you expect your customers to sit without, you ruin their expectations.

Ive eaten here numerous times (atleast x5) and I've always been pleased. They have a good assortment of fresh bread and other healthier items on the menu. Great coffee as well. Just be aware there are only certain times for certain foods so if you want breakfast vs lunch you've gotta be on time.

I wanna say that the server was sweet and seemed to do her best. However, the owner or manager not sure which one he was, was rude and completely disregarded us. We asked for water and the nerve of him to not even give us a response but point to the server and signal her to bring us water. It was too much for him to look up from his phone screen and acknowledge us. As if it was beneath him to provide us with any type or serving service to us. The food was very mediocre for the price. The wait was horrendous. We were there for and hour before we received our food. I honestly don’t understand why we didn’t just get up and walk out. If you ask what type of cuisine it’s this place , there is not really a concrete answer . But it’s definitely a combination or mix of a few country. Authentic and artesanal food , with amazing decoration and presentation . I personally loved everything about this place . Service was outstanding! They also have vegetarian and vegan plates . The hummus , comes with the artesanal bread , it was delicious , I recommend it as an appetizer! Call or send a message thru whatsapp to make a reservation . Pets are allowed for outside dinning experience!

I went to brunch there on a Saturday. The price is fair for the quality and size. The arepas filled with cheese and veggies were delicious and the quinoa's 'calentado' was very good. Is a nice spot to have brunch. The scrambled eggs were dry for my taste and we're not special. Overall good. Recommended if you are nearby and hungry.

My wife and I have been here twice. The service and food presentation were excellent. Ambiance is nice but they could use more fans as it is always hot no matter where you sit (we have been there in the evening both times so I can imagine in the afternoon must be sweltering) Dishes have large portions. I gave it a 3 star because both times we have been there our dishes with meat/fish had way to much salt on it. Cooks don't need to add salt, let the customer do it. Also, many dishes come with pasta yet the servers never bring a pasta spoon to eat with, you always have to ask for one. Speaking of utensils, for a restaurant that wants to project itself as more high end (reflected in prices) they should purchase better utensils instead of "camping utensils". They were cheap and bent...............this takes away from the dinning experience when you have to bend your fork back into place so you can eat. Also, the servers bring a cheap brown plastic basket from the Dollar Store with cafeteria napkins and everyone's utensils in the basket. Everyone at the table has to dig out their eating utensils and one tiny cafeteria napkin each. Surely the restaurant can splurge for new proper dinning utensils and proper large napkins and have the server place them for each person, or have a decorative holder with the utensils already wrapped for everyone vice clients fumbling around handling out utensils and napkins to each other when they should be enjoying their drinks and conversation. We will not go back for a meal, but will likely drop in to try their coffee and a desert one day.

Significantly overpriced place! It’s a cute place, nice atmosphere with some nice touches. Service is okay - I ordered the Dear Bagel and was so disappointed by it and it showed- the waiter knew I wasn’t happy and attempted to solicit feedback. After 3 attempts I finally gave them my feedback - you couldn’t taste the salmon. The bagel was too big and the salmon was lost in there. It would be so much better is the bagel wasn’t so big. To their credit even though I felt they pushed for the feedback they didn’t want me to leave unhappy and gave me a chocolate croissant - that’s when I gave it to them. As an American living in Cali I have been craving a salmon bagel. As I mentioned, the place is nice but very pricey.

Very interesting area of Cali, full of old Colonial style houses with very beautiful architectures. The cafe felt very upscale but unfortunately they had no cakes back when we went there in the late afternoon. The cinnamon bun (danish inspired) was not very interesting and unfortunately quite dry. The coffee was great though.

A meh food place — gets the job done but the food isn’t anything special and the prices are average to high for Cali. The interior is beautiful and the staff is kind. We had a table of 6 and all ordered different things, although it satisfied our needs, it wasn’t amazing. I’d opt out of the waffles and order anything else on the menu — thin and not very delicious.

The Padma House is a great place to stay in Cali. The hostel is located in a great area with a park nearby. I got a super nice welcome and I really liked the flair of the hostel. The beds are very comfortable and you have your privacy! Also the cafe belonging to the hostel looks super cute. If you feel like yoga, you can just borrow a mat and go into the garden. I really enjoyed my stay in the hostel 😃

We had the Ladrilleros sandwich and it was simply incredible… the pesto that complemented the fresh sourdough bread was perfect… the wedge oven fries we well seasoned and the aioli served with it on point (it even accompanied the sandwich well) The coffee was one of the better coffees that I had in Sam Antonio… We will definitely be back

Very nice and cute home-feeling hostel! The hosts Carolina & Jorge are super nice and friendly. I stayed there for 2 weeks. They have a nice courtyard and cute cafe. Great-location, it’s right below the park on top of San Antonio and I can easily walk to anywhere in San Antonio, Loma de la Cruz, and main Boulevard. I felt quite safe to walk alone around the hostel too. I will totally stay there again if I go back to Cali!
