Excellent craft beers. My favorites are the Centurion Pale Ale and the Red Ale. The Juicy IPA is excellent as well. Food is mice specially the steaks. Staff service is really friendly and attentive. Fair command of English.

We tried different craft beers in the evening. Good to see that the craft beer scene in Cambodia is developing as well. Nice that the brewery is actually on site. Recommendation of you are into craft beer. Didn't try any food, so no comment on that.

Wow! Botanico is a gem. Lovely staff, Great service and Excellent Food. I love this place and will be returning every time in PP. I didn't fine a beer that I did not like. Just some that I preferred. Loved the steak, which was cooked to perfection, and the little Ginger staff members are a great, and social attraction. :)

A nice cozy place with an attractive interior, friendly and warm attitude from the staff, delicious food and of course excellent beer of their own production. There are happy hour promotions every day and also on weekends.

It is a truly wonderful and unique atmosphere and bar. A very eclectic interior design from original artwork hanging from the walls to hand painted street art painted directly on the walls. They serve great craft beer with many options for every pallet. The prices are very reasonable. They have a variety of food options. Upstairs there is a lovely balcony overlooking the adjacent alleys. The owner and staff are super friendly and accommodating. I give it an outstanding 5 out of 5.

This is a great little bar down the alley. The owner is fantastic, friendly and provides great service. A great selection of beers on tap, as well as assorted beverages. I highly recommend ginger beer. There are board games available to play and the upstairs is great for sitting and looking over the alleyway. The owner also displays a selection of original art and crafts. I love her paintings.

A really nice chilled place. Sat upstairs, enjoyed some great Japanese food made in the kitchen next door. Staff were lovely and very attentive to our group. We had a great time.

The customer service at this place is AMAZING!!!! INCREDIBLE!!! Hahaha REALLY!! The beer selection it’s also top notch and quite large for a small brewpub in Cambodia. Lots of IPA’s which I personally love. They also bring you food from any of the restaurants around which is really cool. We ate from 4 different restaurants at our table and all the food was delicious!!

Lovely selection of craft beer, a selection of local and overseas beer. Tried the Riel Brewery Chocolate stout. It had yummy notes of dark chocolate, black coffee, sweet and light bodied. One of the owners Jeff was really friendly and all. Please do support this fairly new watering hole

Great local beers. They will pick up the food from local restaurants where their menus which saves you time and you can get food from different places all at one eatings place. The burger is exceptionally good as well as the food from the other vendors.

I was told this is a less local pub setup. There's a pool table inside the Aircon section. You can also choose to sit outside the garden area. They are famous for their sausages but I thought their pork knuckle was really nicely done. Not oily or fatty and crispy skin plus tender pork meat. The best thing was the pork knuckle dish was already cut for consumption. 5 men ordered 2 platters and we couldn't finish. They are also famous for their own micro brewery so you can have unique beer.

I always come here for one purpose, which is to play pool. I don't usually come here for the food or drinks because both are quite expensive; this is the reason why I'm giving it a 4/5. The pool table prices are reasonably priced at $4 an hour before 6 pm. After 6 pm, it's $6 an hour. Overall, these are some of the best pool tables in Phnom Penh!

I visited this place and it is an amazing spot for fresh German draft beer. I highly recommend it for beer enthusiasts looking for a quality brew. The environment is fantastic and the service is great. Additionally, the food is amazing, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. I had a wonderful time enjoying the beer, delicious food, and soaking up the lively atmosphere. I will definitely be returning in the future. Five stars!

Hops, where shall I start, my family and me (from the Netherlands) will be leaving Cambodia today after a one year stay in Phnom Penh. After a few months staying in Phnom Penh we have received the recommendation to visit Hops. Since then we visited Hops at least every 2-3 weeks. Great draft beers and food to enjoy and celebrate our weekend. Special thanks to Don as the weekend Brunch was really great and we definitely will come back next visit to Phnom Penh.

More than 20 taps, the bar offers a huuuuuge selection of craft beers unbeatable in Phnom Penh. Staff service is good, they are friendly and have good command of English. Food. I tried the classic cheeseburger and it did not impressed me. Ok. Apparently fish and chips are the best. Next time I will try them. Beers from Botanico and other competent breweries here. 👍👍👍 My only recommendation here is that the glasses could be chilled and the beers could be colder. We are in Cambodia not in London.

Arrived in Cambodia early in the morning so needed to kill time before I could check in. Lucky that this bar was open at around 9 and also serving! Sweet! Friendly service, ordered a beer. Some of the local brew - a pint of Krud. Went down well. After a while, ordered something to eat - a bacon butty - which was not bad at all. That and the beer for my breakfast, living the life! Stayed for a few more beers after The menu looks quite good - they offer a range of western dishes - mostly UK classics and they have 26 craft beers on tap - which is pretty cool to see in this town. They also offer specials - drink as much as you can for 90 minutes for a set price, for example. Returned for a second day, and got an all out burger for 7.50 dollars - Burger had bacon and the cheese was melting all over the burger, nice and tasty, exactly how I like it. The bar was small but not so busy both times I was there, early morning and late afternoon. Plenty of seating inside, and can sit at the bar. Service was efficient and friendly. Not a bad spot at all.

We found this place on Google and decided to come for breakfast because we liked the idea of customizing our own meal. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was quite dead, with no guests around. The food was average — nothing that justifies the price. The only thing we truly enjoyed were the pancakes. I can’t speak for lunch or dinner, but as for breakfast, I wouldn’t recommend it. For that price, there are definitely better options around. sausage - 3 bacons - 1,5 toast - 1,75 nutela 0,50 …

We went here to watch the Queer Comedy Show.. it was a fun night to be with the same crowd and seeing your own people.. the acts were really great and very funny.. some are also straightforward which is good cause they voice out our concerns as a community.. didn't try any of their food cause we just had dinner somewhere, but will return to this spot to try their dishes..

Absolutely loved the steak and ale pie (lived in Asia 8 years and 100000% the best pie I've eaten and the price is so low). We also got a beef burger which was incredible. Also great beers at a great price. Staff were super attentive and lovely. Owner was lovely too! I've added this to my must eat places for future trips to Cambodia!

Its a nice cool place to chill and have craft beers. It was a friday night so they were quite busy and took a little while to get our food and drinks but that's understandable we were in no rush. Despite being on the slow side the servers were friendly and welcoming and did their best to serve us. The main disappointment for us was that the food was too salty for our taste. We ordered burgers, wings, and pizza and they were all on the salty side. However, if you're looking for good craft beers, with a chilled environment it is a good place to go.

Nice place with friendly owners. 4 taps with 3 of their own and a guest beer. Happy hour 50c off between 5pm and 6pm. You can order food and it will be delivered, they have a menu. There are fermenters in the taproom. Well worth a visit. Only open at the weekend

Wonderful little place in the middle of the action. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and nice. They even had a little “Safety Tips” note for guests to ensure everyone stayed safe. The options they offered for breakfast were great. There are a lot of other food options within walking distance too. Our room was in the back, quiet and comfortable. The hotel itself is set back from the street so it gives the sense of being in a private courtyard. We definitely recommend staying here if they have availability.

I would give you 10 stars if I could. This place was awesomeeeeee. We tried a few different hotels before Saravoan and Saravoan was the best choice. Room was large and worth the price. More than that, the location was super convenient, the staffs🥰were so nice and caring. I got sick one night and they even gave me some pain killers. Literally everything we needed was provided: BIG fridge (not those tiny ones), strong air-con, balcony/back yard, bathtub, microwave, laundry, ice tray to make ice, the staff helped to put credit on my sim card so I can have data. We ended up staying for 5 nights in total, whatever you need, simply ask the staff. This is the place you should stay if you come to Phnom Penh on a budget and want to avoid low quality hotels. YES YES YES 100% YESSSSS.

Nice Boutique Hotel but a little bit expensive. Decent Breakfast but with only 1 coffee served.Big rooms clean and good aircon.It's hard to find at first and located a little off-side of the action but walkable or take a TukTuk.

This is a very pleasant small hotel hidden down an alleyway. It has a small restaurant for breakfasts, which are delicious, and a reception desk with info about trips you can go on. Our room was very pleasant with a bath and shower with toilet. There is tea and coffee plus bottled water for you. There are also crisps, soft drinks and beer in your room to buy. The hotel is near to the river, Cambodian museum and the Royal Palace. I can recommend this hotel.

If compared to Okay Boutique Hotel next door, we rather not stay here. This is more like a guesthouse with no lift in an alley. The streets are very dark. Very dodgy. We stayed on the 3 floor. Luckily a staff carried out luggage up. The aircon was working but it was not strong enough to cool the room. We were sweating the whole night, so we had to push the bed nearer the aircon. Somemore, the aircon air flow goes into the bathroom since there is no door but a curtain. In order to boil water, we have to put the kettle on the floor beside the fridge since there is no plugs in the wall above the table. The worse concerns are safety aspects in the bathroom. The bathtub isn't flat, it is difficult to bathe with 2 feet standing slanted. It is difficult to adjust hot and cold water with the ancient taps. It is either scalding hot or cold. The stool next to bath tub is shaky. One has to cross over wide to stand on the stool with your wet feet, which can easily slip and fall. There is a deep drain in the middle of toilet which is a fall hazard too. I am sure they have not thought through thoroughly about the design for the toilet. The washing basin tap also has no hot water although the sign indicated turn tap for hot water for 3 to 5 mins. There are cockroaches and ants in room. Noticed the wide gap between the front door. The tv channels are also blurry. There are discrepancies with the rooms item list. 1 bathrope and 1 peanut are missing. There is no or little communication among the staff. Housekeeping says they only take care of cleaning. Maintenance does not check at all. Eventually, the guests are the ones checking the defects. The only good things to mention is having a good strong hairdryer and many hangers. Wifi is strong. If possible, we wouldn't stay another night. Unfortunately, we already booked 3 nights.

This isn't the worse or the best place we have ever stayed. We arrived pretty late in the evening (10pm ish) and there wasn't anybody around. There was no lift and staff weren't very welcoming. They weren't rude just not very accommodating. The room was OK. The shower was awful though, freezing cold water or boiling hot water, no in between. Breakfast was also OK but not a lot of choice. The hotel were good at communicating via WhatsApp and helped us with a tuk tuk issue (don't get in a tuk tuk from outside the hotel). Overall, we weren't disappointed but we probably wouldn't stay here again.

We booked through Agoda, but the wonderful staff said there was no booking, allthough I showed my Agoda confirmation and payment. They said they do not work with Agoda and I get back my money in 32 days! How do you know this if you do not work with Agoda. Got help fromAgoda, but my emails to the hotel remain unanwerred. A very dirty business!!

Very good local craft nano brews. Vegan rolls are nice. Love the food and the beers both draft and bottles. All craft nano beers.

What a fantastic little brewery in Phnom Penh. A brewer in Kampot recommended this place to me. It’s very small (nanobrewery) but the beer is not only unique (Kampot pepper, orange dragonfruit, pineapple) in its flavor but also tasty and very reasonable. I’m by no means a vegetarian let alone Vegan, but I thought the vegan sushi was delicious. Owner is very friendly as his staff. Plus, plenty of cute cats.

Excellent beer and a rare Vegan find in Phnom Penh. There are so many things about Flowers that are just outstanding. I've followed Yuki - the Japanese owner/brewer/manager - from Kampot where he was making excellent small batch beeers to Bangkok, where he's settled down into a well hidden location, just behind Wat Langka, across from the monument to King Norodom. The food is exciting, even if you're not a vegan. Good quality vegan maki sushi, vegan burgers, and my favourite, the Japanese pancakes (like Korean jeon - a great match for beer).

Very nice little place that you have to look for. So great to drink good beers and the price are very competitive!!! And you receive a great miso soup for every sushi’s order, which there are excellent by the way! And the personnel is very kind. I couldn’t recommend it more!!!

It was a neighbor in Phenom Penh, full of bars and restaurants, lot of tourists and children that try to sell you sth(didn't like this part) Not that big but cozy.

A lively stretch of small pubs and bars that attract a mix of locals and foreigners (roughly 60/40). Most places are cozy single-level spots, though a few have two floors with rooftop seating. The food is generally average, but that’s not why people come here — it’s more about the atmosphere, live music, and meeting new people. Expect a friendly crowd mostly under 40, casual vibes, and plenty of local music talent. If you’re looking for an authentic nightlife experience beyond the big clubs, this area is a must-visit while in Phnom Penh.

Love this area of Phnom Penh. Very chill and with so many options of bars and restaurants. Don't stop at the main intersection! Go back in the alleys and explore different types of eateries including western bar food, local Cambodian food, Italian and pizza, tapas, Thai and more. Be sure to take the stairs in different venues and go to the 2nd floor for more unique options. Also, check out the rooftop at The Avery Hotel. It has a great view and a nice breeze to cool down!

Lots of beautiful eateries in and around Basaac lane prices are generally up overall being a tourist location but the visit is worth it

BASSAC LANE is a whimsical place full of some of the best eateries and bars in Phnom Penh. It's family-friendly, bustling with tons of foot traffic. The restaurants and lounges are all topnotch. So, if you want a memorable evening, go to this area as it's a melting pot of expats and city natives out to have a good time.

Good place to come late at night because all the bars around riverside close around 1am and street 136 is only for old tourists looking for a bar girl, bassac lane has a good mix of local and foreigners.

It’s definitely made for tourists, it’s fairly similar to a Pub Street that you would find in Asian cities. It’s loud, many bars and restaurants pumping out loud music. Hawkers constantly coming up to you trying to elicit some money. The food is nothing exceptional and there are better restaurants in Phnom Penh charging similar prices or below. It’s the kind of tourist experience you do once when in Phnom Penh, then you progress to better experiences. It’s more geared to the 20-40 age bracket.

Great little craft beer joint. Definitely a keeper. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Do note that beers are of a good strength so drink responsibly. 🤣😝 On the plus side, both beers I had were well balanced and you did not feel the robust alcohol content. Good tasting drinks.

I did not eat food, but they looked delicious. I tried this beer: #5: HAPPY HAZY NEIPA Aroma: moderate-strong juicy, tropical, mango. Hardly dry hopped. 11/12 Appearance: looks a bit oxidized, very opal as a NEIPA should be. 2/3 Flavour: moderate-strong tropical, mango, peach notes. Low oxidation. 15/20 Mouthfeel: strong body, smooth 4/5 It’s a very nice, my best beer in Cambodia so far 🙂 8/10 40/50

Good beer selection. The stout was very good, same for the hazy IPA. Took a beer flight, it was quite pricey unfortunately, 9usd.

And it's 11 beers. Really cool craft beer pump where they have 12 beers on top and a really nice atmosphere and an air-conditioned room. They also do food which I did not try but I'm sure it's very good. Very clean toilets. The owner brews his very owm IPA and is only served in this particular establishment.

Great craft brewery place tucked away in an alley full of restaurants and bars. Good selection of their own beers and other Cambodian craft brewers on tap plus a solid selection of beers and cans. Flights of 4 available. Basic but tasty food menu. Suspect whoever has translated their pizza menu from Cambodian to English has mistaken oregano for onion as my pizza that was supposed to be onion free but with oregano most definitely had onion and no oregano. Air conditioned, which is somewhat of a rarity but so important if you don't like beer at 35 degrees a few minutes after it's been poured. Great tunes too! Fantastic night that made me wish I'd planned for more time in Phnom Penh.

Palace Lane is an alleyway between Street 244 and Street 240, ideally located between the Royal Palace and Wat Botum Pagoda. I entered from Street 244. Officially, the lane includes Cambodia Bagels, Craft, Fernando’s, the Pizza Factory, and Planta. Additionally, Melbourne Coffee, BobgBongBong, The Vine Phnom Penh, and Akasa Skybar seem to be part of the area as well. So far, I’ve only visited Craft and was underwhelmed by the experience. However, I might return to check out The Vine, hoping for a better time.

We went 2 times during our time in PP. Fantastic live music mostbfridays and saturday, good quality and wide variety of western snacks and meals, very nice cocktails and curated craft-beer selection. We especially loved the familiarity and warmth that we were greeted and treated with, had a nice fun chat with Dave, one of the owners, who is a lovely guy and saw some of the best jazz in a long time. We‘ll be back, thanks for a great time.

I went here one night after making a run to the atm. While returning to the hotel i heard music and made my way to this place. I only had a glass wine, but i returned the next day and had pizza. The service was good. The pizza was actually 2 for 1. Pizza was ok. the service was great

Full English breakfast,eggs not cooked as I asked for sausage not Cumberland, bacon was ham there were food and drink stains all over the walls the floor was really dirty it was the only restaurant in that row that was empty when I arrived all the rest were quite full, I tried it out because of the previous good reviews I just don't understand the good reviews at all. Except for the manager the staff were amazingly grumpy There are far better places around

Bad expérience.Because I read the good reviews I wanted to try this restaurant.Its a bit higher price class(5$and up).First of all I was seated next to a garbage bag full of all kind of garbage it should not be there.But when my food came out the pommes au gratin were completely cold.I asked if they could warm it up which they did but after it came back it was still lukewarm and my meat had gone cold by that time...too people smoke everywhere....

Great spot to chill and hang out whilst sipping on a banana shake for $1 and eating the best valued 🥑 🥚 🍞 in Phnom Penh for $2.50. The owners and staff and so lovely too, as well as the returning customers. If you come here look out as its hard to find better value!. Update:- still a great place!

Western food fare, with the prerequisite English breakfast and Bangers & Mash. Loved their Sony Breakfast option with poached eggs over a bed of cream spinach. The eggs were well made, the hollandaise sauce adding its usual flavor. The burger was a hearty portion, with the patty juicy and not too dry. Good for a lazy afternoon meal.

It's not a very high rooftop bar tho, the view is great. Also, a good place to have a conversation with friends or partners because no live band and no loud music. They got many beer choices, with 3 draught beers options. Food tastes are also good, but some dishes (not all) are overpriced. because they look like big portions on the menu card, and the portion is small in reality. (Menu card images are attached). But it is worth chilling because of its nice view and cozy vibe.

Superb view of the riverside. Decently priced food (mostly western fare). Has a "hidden bar" kinda entrance - you will need to push the giant Guiness can and take a lift to the 3rd floor. Music is not too loud. Just enough to create a chilled atmosphere. Good place to have conversations.

The view is nice for sunset, but it's not really high (4/5 floor) . One of our highlights was the cool entry. Friendly and quick staff. The prices for craft beers (5,5$) are a too high. Luckily you can get a local one for 1,5$. 10% taxes will be added.

Nice to come back. I operated a business in this building from 2001-2008 and it was vacant for ten years after that. I finally made it to the roof top bar to meet some former staff and staff for a reunion. It has always been a great location, and has always had great views, unfortunately part of their view is being blocked by some new construction. The main views of the riverfront however will remain un obstructed. Nice layout with seating to accommodate any size groups. I felt they really did a good job with a space that was once used for staff quarters and laundry. Also an elevator to get you to the top. Popular music playing on the sound system. Staff attentive, and happy. I am not a craft beer guy but they have them. Some good appetizers. We had some breaded squid and some endame beans. Prices very reasonable. Had a great time and a nice trip down memory lane. Able to park my motorbike outside with security. Dinged a star as the restroom is one floor below. I saw an open door and a urinal, went in and just pulled the door shut. A woman opened the door and had and oops sorry moment. Had I not rushed in I would have noticed the man woman emblem on the door and locked it. For a business that started with a clean slate, they should have put in a mens and womens restroom.

A good spot to look at the river at night. There is a live band on the weekends. Dart game and draught beer cost only 1$ each. Recommended.

The food was okay- we asked for it not to be spicy and it came out spicy, but overall not terrible. But my friend and I ended up getting food poisoning from here.

I only rate it a one as i wanted Thai food which they dont have on there menu. Me ican food was fine.

I'm sure this place is great when there are people in it. Went there at 7.00pm last night for drinks and possible food, but it was empty. I mean really empty. Just three bar staff watching intently while my wife and I hurried a beer. Nice posters on walls, great music in background. Also they have ABC Extra Stout, which is a Good Thing😀

Love this bar. The drinks are cheap, the music (every night played by the owner) is a very good selection of rock music. There is some food/snacks available for order, definitely go for the dumplings. There is a pool table although one of the worst ones in Phnom Penh.

A friendly bar with excellent decor. Only problem is the fact that there are no customers. It's a real shame as I am sure previously it was a busy place. Sunday's used to have live bands but these are rare now but sometimes happen on Saturday's instead. Worth a visit though. There's a sign outside directing you to walk up a staircase to get inside.

Really liked this place until the staff started clearing our unfinished drinks! Prices are affordable so it's not the end of the world But also, not among the cheapest so it was a bit annoying after a while! Still, it's a great place to hang out and has a friendly atmosphere.

Zeppelin is a stunningly old school bar, in the best possible sense. Old school prices, old school service and old school rock and roll too! The people who run the bar are well known...legends on the Phnom Penh scene. If you do one thing in your time in this jewel of a South East Asian city, after sunset, it should be this. AWESOME bar in the backpacker alley. The owner plays great rock, the beers are reasonably priced, and there are no drunk idiots here. They have a pool table in the back as well and a large table in the middle which is good for congregating to meet new people. They encourage talking and not WiFi, so you should make an effort to go, if not for anything, to listen to Megadeath, Metallica, Rush, The Stones, and yea....

Pricier than the bars along the riverside but worth it. The beer is delicious, the staff friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. We ordered some chips and they were freshly homemade.

I had not eaten here previous to my knowledge of the fact that I love Indian food! Now in search, I found some good stuff. It was very tasty and they actually got my medium spicy perfectly! I have no complaints. I ordered some samosas to go as well.

THESE BLOODY FOOLS NEVER GIVE CHUTNEY EVEN IF REQUESTED. We get food delivered from here every week at least. The food is quite good, so we overlook some issues like the fact they never give chutney with items that require chutney (despite our specifically requesting it). But now it seems the cooks have changed? We ordered last night. Nothing tastes the same. The yogurt is completely different and not good. And again no chutney. I don’t think we’ll be ordering from here ever again.

Best Punjabi food in southeast asia by far. We have ordered 2 veg. Thali and 1 veg samosa. There is enough food to feed anyone hungry. Strongly recommend.

We ambled in around lunch time, and the restaurant was half full. Both of us ordered a Chili Chicken Set, a Curry Chicken Set and a Baigan Verta. We we're also given two glasses of water. And then we waited. And waited. And waited again. Our dishes arrived nearly an hour later, which was a little annoying and spoiled the experience. The dishes were flavorful though, and i would give marks to the Baigan Verta and the Chili Chicken Set. Would come back for the food, but only if they fix that long wait, which is unacceptable.

This is really little hidden gem in the centre of Phnom Penh. Surrounded by unique little bars and restaurants. The rooms are really modern clean and comfortable. The pool is a little bit small but it’s on the roof. The drinks and the food are great. I’ll give this place 10 or 10 is definitely one of my top five for short days in PP.

The infinity pool on the roof top and the service from the amazing staff make this place! So beautiful at the end of a busy day. The surrounding lane of boutique restaurants is an added bonus. Rooms are comfortable and clean but are on the verge of needing an upgrade.

I stayed here only 1 night, but I wish I had longer. The rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable. I didn't really know what to expect in Phnom Penh, but I think I lucked out with this place. It was walking distance to the Genocide museum, and also to Bassac lane, that has all the bars and eateries. It is also located in what seems to be a Japanese neighbourhood, and the hotel itself is Japanese influence. The staff were so lovely and helpful. And the rooftop bar was spectacular!

Comfortable stay with spacious rooms and a spectacular roof-top infinity pool. Super friendly staff with a wonderful breakfast provided daily. The only drawback was that the air conditioning did not cool our room - we had to sleep naked without covers, sweating through the night. Other than that, very pleasant stay.

The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean and very comfortable for my honeymoon , providing a relaxing environment. Additionally, your staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for maintaining such high standards.

It is wonderful place patio hotel and urban resort.i have been to go there with my husband all staff so nice they are friendly warm welcome attentive to guest. In the morning have buffet and breakfast free start from 6:30 until 10 :30 for guest stay in this hotel food and drink so delicious at the swimming pool have good views and stunning when we sat at pool make feel refreshing and providing relax enjoyable. highly recommende to stay here.

Their food was okay 👍 I personally like my steak medium rare and they cooked it well done 😅 It was also paired with a sauce (4th photo) that worked better with the salted egg squid. The beer tower was worth it! My partner and I shared the tower and yes— we got Tipsy hahaha 🤪 It was served with a small bowl of nuts and vegetables! The food here is quite tasty, especially the spicy seafood dishes. It's affordable, and my favorite is the juicy grilled beef. It's a great place to enjoy cheap seafood by the river.

The restaurant is best for young adult dating place. The price is affordable, yet the food is awful. Poor service, bad taste and unhealthy food. If you want to find healthy food like less salt, less oil, less sugar, you will definitely go for the wrong pace. The food there is too much salty and greasy which is totally an unhealthy food option. Not recommend at all!

Nice restaurant by the Riverside, often quite busy, especially Fridays. Always filled with customers and youngsters love to have their birthday party here, for some reason they keep playing the happy birthday song. Staffs are friendly and always put on a smile, which is good for service industry. Dishes are cheap but they don't seem to have a standard, same dish ordered twice and taste completely different.

Food is reasonably priced, although most of them is spicy. Staffs are friendly and always busy, lots of young people here to celebrate weekends or birthdays. Ordered a steak taste very nice so order another one, but the second time taste totally different, dry and not juicy. Like you're walking into a different restaurant. Some dishes are overcook as well, might be better if the standard are kept at the same level every time.

Came here for the first time because my friend recommended it. And I actually like it. You can see the view of the Russian Market right in front of you. The atmosphere is chill and cozy, and the prices aren’t too overpriced either. I ordered a margarita and a few beers they were good. A bit too strong for me, but that’s okay, I still enjoyed it. I like the vibe. The restroom also smells nice, and I love that. So yeah, it’s an 8/10 from me. I’ll definitely come back again.

A great place to chill out for drinks. Getting to Sundown Social Club’s an adventure in itself. Nested just next to the busy Russian Market, you’ll need to weave to a slightly hidden flight of stairs to get to the next rooftop bar. Atop Sundown Social Club you’ll get a nice view overlooking the Russian Market area, perfect for a cocktail or two, while the sun sets. Would’ve given the place 5 stars if not for the food, which unfortunately doesn’t do justice to the nicely decorated bar.

New trendy GastroPub in the neighborhood. It's run by the same people as the Brooklyn pizza and Posh Nosh up a bit north on the same street. The food is good but their menu is still small now. Drink selections are better. They have about 10 beers on tap, a few of them are domestic. Ask about their beer taster sets.

This is just such a quality place. Highest on your list of reasons to visit are the great quality craft and Belgian beers, terrific food and regular live performances from quality acts. The venue is lovely with a back beer garden, front outaide area for live acts, upstairs for privacy or DJs on select nights and great air conditioned middle bar. This place screams quality. The excellent foods range from $5 to $10 for most things, excluding steaks etc. The Grilled Lamb Wrap pictured was $5.95 and very tasty. A place I visit weekly now.

Neat place. Friendly and attentive staff. They have craft cocktails with fun names. I tried a couple of their signature gin cocktails and they were delicious. I was just there for drinks but the food at other tables also looked amazing, both western and local cuisines.

This place was okay. Would not be my first choice but it’s not terrible. We ordered cocktails off the menu, but it looked like the bartender was struggling to figure out the ingredients. The nachos were good. And I think I’d say that even if I hadn’t been living in Asia for six months and severely missing Mexican food.

By far my favorite place for good food, drinks and music. The food is delicious and not as expensive as one might think, the drinks are great and the bartenders show their skills, for the music I must say the sound quality and music is simply the best in Phnom Penh. The layout is great and the recently installed rooftop outside makes it even greater to be there, especially when it’s raining. The staff are all fantastic and they’re always smiling.

I stayed at Mad Monkey and was told it was fine to go to this bar without a t-shirt, but when I got there, the staff told me it wasn’t allowed. To make things worse, I saw others in the bar without t-shirts, so clearly, the rules aren’t applied consistently. It was frustrating and made me feel singled out. I expected better communication and fairness from a place that promotes a relaxed and inclusive vibe. If you have rules, stick to them for everyone or make them clear to avoid this kind of experience.

This used to be a great place to hang out with travelers and tourists. But like so many other places in PP, it now completely changed for the worse and looks like a meeting point for gangsters and drug related crowd. Doesn’t feel safe and no more fun here.

Awesome location, highly convenient, many bars and cafes in the area. Smack in a vibrant neighbourhood/ part of Phnom Penh. The only drawback is there are steep steps to climb to get to the reception & room — there are no lifts, and you have to carry the luggage up yourself. Private rooms are also very basic in amenities, but they are clean. Overall, value for money for the cost per night and location.

Pros: 10/10 location, smack in a touristy district with many notable bars/ cafes down the road. The room is clean and basic and the price is very affordable for a location like this. The adjacent rooftop bar is very popular amongst a young tourist crowd. Cons: You have to climb up 2 steep flights of stairs with your luggage to get to the reception & the rooms (on the 3rd floor). There are no lifts. Also, it remains very noisy in the wee hours of the night due to the central location. If you’re a light sleeper, sleep might be compromised.

We visited just for a drink in the rooftop bar. What a cool place, great music, reasonable prices for beer and cocktail although not the best margarita in the world. The laid back and fun atmosphere certainly makes it worth a visit especially is you are in the target age group.

Good Guesthouse not far away from the centre. My room was clean and the staff was friendly. They have balconies on each level that surrounds half of the building plus a rooftop bar with a quiet nice view.

Can't get a great deal of sleep as it's very loud. Also they ask you to pay a ten dollar deposit for a key and a towel which is not common practice and quite annoying if you're a backpacker. They also told me I didn't pay my deposit which turned in to a drawn out argument. All in all I would not recommend.

A cozy, good-feel bar with a friendly and professional barman. It's a popular place with locals ( expats?) and visitors alike. Good value chalk board specials but a good selection of cocktails and usual spirits. The cocktails are well made a no short-cuts on the ingredients. Seating at the bar, inside comfy or outside in the small street. Will be back tomorrow.

Think it has closed down. Went about 1830 on a Sunday when should be open according to stated hours. All locked up and looks to have been so for a while. If so its a shame as enjoyed a few visits on previous trips to Phnom Penh.

I went to Craft on a Thursday night, choosing an evening without a special event (they usually have programming, but I wanted to stay away from the madness). For those who aren’t familiar, Craft is one of the bars/restaurants located on Palace Lane. Initially, I planned to sit at Planta, which is attached to Craft, but it just didn’t feel as comfortable—plus, there was a bit of an unpleasant smell—so I returned to Craft instead. With a little rain coming down, I ordered an Açai smoothie, expecting just a drink, but it turned out to be a full bowl, which was quite generous for $4.50. I also ordered ribs, described on the menu as “fall off the bone.” The Açai smoothie bowl was great. The ribs, however, were a complete disappointment. They arrived lukewarm, and the only way the bones could’ve fallen off was probably if I lived in a parallel universe where they cooked their food properly. Easily the worst ribs I’ve ever had, but I pressed on since, well, it was food. During my visit to Craft, the service was fairly attentive, though the staff seemed a bit shy. At one point, the owner came out and scolded the bar attendant for letting a delivery driver sit at the bar. While I understand the need to enforce rules, the way the owner handled it—in front of customers—was poor and uncomfortable to witness. Overall, I’d rate Craft 3 stars and would recommend to avoid their rendition of BBQ. Would I come back for their musical programming? Maybe, but Phnom Penh has a lot to offer. The dive bar atmosphere doesn’t appeal to me, and since I no longer drink craft beer due to its inflammatory effects on my body, I doubt I’ll return unless I’m stuck choosing between vegan food at Planta next door or something better elsewhere.

Awesome joint for catching up and hanging out with friends. A few interesting eateries and a bar tucked in this lovely little lane way with street arts. A lovely band was playing on our visit and it worked well with the space and sound. Food was yummy and the staff very attentive and friendly. Yummy cocktails too and my pull pork was stunning. Friends enjoyed their meals too. Will come back for more.

This is a bar and restaurant that has an extensive menu of both food, drinks and beer. The place is tucked into a small "alley". So it's not the easiest place to spot from the road. They serve different varieties of meat with side dishes, hamburgers and pizza. They also have a large selection of drinks at a very reasonable price (from 5 USD). They also have a large menu of beers. They have different special offers depending on which day of the week you visit them. We went there on a Monday where their burgers cost 5.5 USD (6.5 USD w/soda). On Tuesdays, drinks cost 3.5USD and on Wednesdays it's 2-4-1 pizza. We went for 3 burgers of meat fried medium. This was an amazingly good burger cooked to perfection! The bread itself was a bit high and there was a bit too much fried onion on the burger itself. Fries come as fried potato pieces and were absolutely great! I had a regular size vegetable pizza where I had an add on with chicken and blue cheese. Super thin and crispy bottom where the filling almost reached the edge. Will definitely come back and will order the same again. We also had two different drinks at Happy Hour. One was a Pina Colada, this was among the top 3 best we've had. Very good service too, where the English skills are reasonably good. Recommended

We were 4 persons and the length of time between the first receiving their pizza, and the last receiving the clam spaghetti was considerable.The spaghetti clams weren't worth the wait. The pasta was undercooked and all except 6 individual clams were unable to be opened. A 4th person at the table had an undercooked beef burger. Music was great, but won't eat here again.

It’s okay. Location is good because it’s beside the river and close to a market. I was not sure this place was a hostel when I first arrived but the staff came out to say hello and were friendly from the beginning. The private rooms were a good size, bed is comfortable enough but the bathroom needs attention. Tape on the floor of the bath holding it together and the water is slow to drain out. I didn’t eat at the restaurant downstairs because it lacked atmosphere.

Khmer food was totally fine, so my Espresso and the Passion Soda. The owner was quite nice and we had a good talk.

Stayed here for one night, absolutely loved it. A perfect place to relax, unwind and escape the chaos from outside. Staff were very helpful and spoke great English. Rooms and bathrooms were clean with hot showers. Breakfast starts early and dinner finishes late, and the food is very tasty and fairly budget friendly. When we come back to Phnom Penh we will defo stay here!

Really delicious food! The hot and sour soup was flavorful and perfectly balanced — spicy, tangy, and comforting. The roast duck rice was tender, juicy, and full of aroma. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving good Chinese food! I’ll definitely come back again to try other dishes. They also have private rooms available.

Just had the opportunity to dine at the new restaurant in Phnom Penh and it did not disappoint! Calling all duck lovers – the green building and convenient semi-basement motorbike parking area caught my eye immediately. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary hot soup as an appetizer before our main course arrived. The salted duck was incredibly flavorful, perfectly complemented by the roasted duck, charsiu, and pork belly. A must-try experience, and all for around $30 – definitely worth it!

I had the privilege to try the lovely Cantonese style cuisine at the newly opened restaurant, Duck Kingdom Cambodia. The restaurant setting have an elegant ambiance with carefully designed décor using quality furnishing with the main theme color "emerald green". The restaurant emphasize on highest quality using the freshest ingredients available. My absolute favourite has got to be the steamed grouper, the sweet and sour pork and the stir fry green beans with minced pork. I can taste the 'wok hay' in the Cantonese stir fry vege and it is absolutely delish. The restaurant is kid friendly, easily accessible with a stretch of parking just in front of the main entrance. And there are also 2 private rooms available for booking. The restaurant is a suitable place to host parties privately or even just to have a simple lovely meal. I say MUST TRY!.

Duck Kingdom Cambodia restaurant deserves every bit of these 5 stars! While the name might suggest duck specialties, their chicken breast in lemon sauce is absolutely phenomenal and worth the visit alone. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection - incredibly tender and juicy, which is no small feat considering how easily chicken breast can become dry. The lemon sauce was a masterpiece of balance - bright and citrusy with just the right amount of tanginess, complemented by subtle hints of garlic and herbs. It coated the chicken beautifully without drowning it. The presentation was elegant yet unpretentious, served with perfectly steamed jasmine rice that absorbed the delicious sauce wonderfully. The portion size was generous, definitely good value for the price. Beyond this stellar dish, the restaurant atmosphere is charming with traditional décor that feels authentic rather than touristy. The dining area was immaculately clean, and the background music created a pleasant ambiance without overpowering conversation. The service deserves special mention - attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations when asked, and checked on us at just the right intervals. Duck Kingdom Cambodia has clearly put as much care into their chicken dishes as their namesake duck specialties. I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their menu, though it'll be hard not to order that perfect chicken breast in lemon sauce again! Highly recommended for both tourists and locals looking for an excellent dining experience.

Unique bar Hangar 44 has a large, masculine motorbike suspended by heavy chains from the ceiling. It hangs over this narrow bar of dark metal and wood. Hangar 44 is located on Bassac Lane, not Riverside (sleezy); and the motorbike on the ceiling is a classic, not a hog or a Harley.

Nice, small & cosy place with a very friendly staff! The only thing I m missing there is more beers on tap(currently only 1)! And all bottled beers would deserve to be cooled just a little bit more.

Fantastic spot for drinks. Right within Bassac Lane. Great vibes! It's a motorcycle themed bar with excellent cocktails. Drinks are $6 each, expensive by Cambodia standards but cheap compared to US prices. Definitely come for happy hour between 500-700pm where drinks are half off. Highly recommend. An oasis in this crazy chaotic city!

Place doesn’t look terrible, but charging $7 or $8 for a cocktail in Cambodia is just ridiculous. Guys, we know your wages are close to zero and you don’t even have padded seats! Rip off.

Looks like the best place in Phnom Penh with more then dozen craft beers by Belgian standards. It can be imagined as oasis of life if you find yourself in this part of Phnom Penh during the hottest time of year. Owner and brew-master, Andrew, exceptionally pleasant to talk to and competent in the production of first-class beer.

It's got air conditioning so it's a good place to escape the heat. I tried a few beers, but the IPA stood out as something very special. The owner was running the place and we had a good talk about life and general.

Great beers. Friendly hostesses and the owner brewer has amazing tales over the ales.

If you like craft beers this is a must visit. It's a little buried away but that's the beauty of it.

Tasty iced matcha’s. The yuzu and caramel matcha was good. The normal iced matcha was very watery and didn’t taste like matcha, I recommend getting a different one or adding sugar. No alternative milks just dairy. There were books to read and the atmosphere was cute but not a lot of seats.

i’ve been here quite a few times. the matcha here is really good. i got matcha sea salt cream i think? really milky and the cream is really good. the owners are also very lovely and friendly!!! the space is a bit small but cozy. 5/5!!!

Such a neat cute matcha place. Their strawberry matcha was so delicious, I really enjoyed it. The place is small and gives off a very calming vibe. They also have some books for you to read. 🍓

A hidden gem coffee specializing in matcha . Just like other reviewers said the baristas are friendly and specialize in the matcha making process and they would recommend the drinks based on your preferences. Would definitely come again . Parking : the shop located in a small alley , would be more convenient to come with motorbike or got the car parked on main road .

Lovely little hidden away matcha and coffee shop. Proper good quality matcha with made with bowl and whisk- you can choose how sweet or not sweet you want it and if you want any added flavour. Lady working there is super lovely and friendly. Very cute definately recommend it here.
