Nice beers but way overpriced. Seems like they're mainly relying on tourists and rich folks to go and hang out there as the view is amazing.

Ever since they moved, it is not the same anymore. Inside it all feels cramped, and I really think the magic has sort of gone now. If you would have to sit inside because of poor weather, in the end what you get a a good yet overpriced beer. If the weather allows, the outside area is nice and may attract you to visiting them

The right atmosphere and selection for such a nice place in Rotterdam. De Kappse at Fenix Food offers a wide selection of their beers and also from some invited breweries. There are also some cans and bottles available and even with the place crowded, the service is efficient. Great job!

The greatest place for beer in Rotterdam. Period. Apart from their own tasty selection, there's always a wealth of great international craft beers on tap. Add to that the nice surroundings of the Fenix Food Factory, their own little place in there (with friendly staff and awesome jazz sessions) and - if weather permits - the whole dock outside to spread out onto (with one of the best views of the city), and you've easily got my favourite spot in the city.

Went here with some friends and it was a really nice place with a big selection of beers on tap. The venue is quite cozy and there’s plenty of couches and chairs to choose from. There’s also board games for a more chill experience. The beers range from blondes to stouts to IPA’s so there’s something for everyone. The beers are decent however none I tried really blew me away and the venue on a Thursday was really empty which was a shame but maybe it was just an off night. Overall good venue and a nice place to try many beers so I do recommend.

Amazing selection of unique beers, great vibe and a must-see for beer lovers. Might be quite smelly inside because of the brewing process though, but that just adds to the charm. Don't forget to check out the bottle shop and the rest of the food factory like Cidercider.

Waited over 1hour for food that we had to order and prepay in advance, staff was not organized nor helpful. Even tho I understand the kitchen can be understaff, waiters could inform clients ahead….Their digital menu was also showing everything as sold out. I do not recommend this place.

It’s a nice Dutch place…nothing fancy. The drinks were fine, maybe a little overpriced, but that’s expected in the city. Nice staff helped create and warm atmosphere.

While the staff is friendly and welcoming, the food didn't quite meet expectations in terms of value. The prices here are a bit high for what you get. On the bright side, we enjoyed watching the Holland vs. Turkey match during our visit. The atmosphere was vibrant, with everyone engrossed in the game, making it a memorable experience. A notable point is that the table service stops quite early at 19:30. After that, all orders need to be placed at the bar for self-service.

We visit the place quite often. It is in a really nice location close to the city center of Rotterdam. It offers many options regarding drinks, snacks and brunch. The staff is friendly. Totally recommend it!

Fast and friendly service. Great place to sit and scape 33 suffocating degrees. Plenty of place to choose from on a Saturday afternoon. The menu has many options, we order some loaded fries with chicken and they were delicious. Also great variety of beers! I tried two but I will come back to try others and definitely one of their burgers! Really recommended!

Came here around 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Quite busy inside but the upstairs area was completely open. We just came here for drinks. Started off with a round of beers and then a round of shots. Then finished off with beers at the end. Nice system where you can order on your phone. The service was great as well, it is pretty loud inside though.

Great place to have a drink (or a few), and the food is tasty, too. Went there with a friend, we had a couple of beers on their terrace in the sun, and then moved inside for burgers. I had the veggie Turbo Cheeseburger, can definitely recommend trying it! Staff is friendly, attentive and helpful, all in all we had a great evening!

We were just passing by and found this nice Coffee, I got myself some cheap pancakes and a latte macchiato. I could order from the table using a QR-Code and got the food delivered to our table swiftly after. Nice places to sit and some bar / lounge music playing in the background. I can only recommend this cafe and it's cheap + high quality service and food / drinks

I have to return more times and try other itens of their menu, but for what I've tasted so far, it's an excellent option here in Centrum. Nice external area with quite a good selection of beers and nice snacks - the fries with meat ragu is excellent. The service is OK and when they manage to get to your table, they are usually friendly.

Can’t even heat up soup. After the first attempt soup was found to be cold it then took 15 minutes to come back with something that (drum roll) was indeed some warmed up tomato soup. Other food was bang average. Had Korean chicken loaded fries and a beef burger.

The bar only had one waitress but she was attentive and working happy (singing and smiling). Food came in fast and it was good. Loved the beers I tried too.

A perfect spot for the afternoon. Friendly, relaxed service and no rush. The food was great, and a well balance beer lineup. The stout and Belgian tripel stood out as our favorites. Loved that you can try all six house brews with a flight plus an extra 25cl pour. Great way to sample the full range on tap. Highly recommend for anyone passing through Rotterdam.

Can only speak to the beer and atmosphere - but very nice environment with a solid selection of traditional brews. Friendly service, enjoyed the flight for 13.50€. Plus liked the fact that there is indoor and outdoor seating.

First off -- best nachos I've tasted in the continental Europe! The vegan hamburger (even better than the meat one) and hot dog are my other favorites. Beers are always light and aromatic. You can't go wrong with Stoombier. Amazing (almost medieval) atmosphere and smell with the loveliest back garden. Also great scenery since it's situated near the historical port. A gem in Rotterdam.

Definitely worth the visit. The brewery is perfect connected with the neighborhood and history of Delfshaven. Traditional methods and aiming to balance traditional recipes and new styles (NEIPA). Good beers, regular food, quick and friendly service. A very nice place to stay outside and spend sometime in Delfshaven.

Beautiful spot in historic Delfshaven with seating inside, outside on their patio and outside on the street. We only had a drink there and some bitterballen and they were nice. Will be back!

Great place for a wide variety of beers, but it's hard to find a table. More often than not, we have walked by and not gone inside because it's just too busy. One time we arrived at 16h, just as they were opening, and we got a table, and it was a lovely experience!

I went there with a group of friends and we had a nice experience. The place is nice, with different ambients and nice decorations. The service was good even though the place was crowded. They indeed have +200 options for beer and the price is fair.

Very nice and different Biergarten. Service was very good and food was tasty!

Okay, this place was fascinating. Being over 60, I was way too old for this venue - its definitely for the younger crowd. That said, felt perfectly at ease here. An abundance of restaurants/fast food places, outdoor kiosks, beer tapes, and a DJ turning electronica. Grabbed a bit of food and several beers from a few places. There are steps that have a Sacre Vibe where the patrons gathered as the sun went down. Very chill. Very cool. It was always our plan to end up here, and although the few blocks between our hotel and this were the seediest part of town we saw, the biergarten itself was excellent.

As good vibes go, this place has it all. Food, music, drinks, service… is a must to try with friends and family and enjoy the best time in Rotterdam. Food: definitely great portions and excellent quality. Portion sizes are big enough to share with your group.

Our stay at the Biergarten was excellent! The alcohol free Radler in the sun was the perfect start in the day. As main dish I got the Chicken Burger and the Fries 2.0 The burger patty was not too fatty and was fried perfectly. The fries are an absolute must with the Parmesan sauce it was just delicious!

There is nothing better to do on a sunny summer's day when you get off work around 5 and there's still about 5 hours worth of sun. You're off for a feed with your colleague and your throat is conveniently thirsty. Something that a nice glass of homebrew beer would fix. De Gele Kanarie checks all these boxes, with surprisingly good bar food, predictably good beer and just a chill atmosphere. There's also a bunch of whacky decor of humans with yellow canary heads, which I think is the Dutch name of the joint. I think if you drink enough beer in here you might end up with a yellow canary head yourself. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing who knows.

We had a great experience at the Gele Kanarie. The place is nice, we sat outside because the weather was really fine. The service was great and friendly staff. The beers made by them were really good and I think the price was reasonable. The food was more for ok, I think the French Fries missed a little bit of sauce/salt. No sure if it is possible to pay a visit to the place they brew their beers.

A fantastic experience, unique style interior, complete with beer taps at some of the tables! Great selection of local, and brewdog beers. The staff was friendly, one of the staff, Ebba, was a delight to talk with. Definitely will return, highly recommend!

First time I had ventured into a BrewDog on the continent. Was quiet but did not have the same feel or atmosphere as its UK counterparts. Regardless beer and food were on par with that which BrewDog typically offer.

A nice bar to spent time with some friends. There are table games available to use which is very fun! The beers on offer are great with a good variety and multiple sizes. Wish there was a little bit more info about them, who brewed it etc. Staff is friendly and good with recommendations. The food, was a bit of a disappointment though. Prices are steep for what you are getting. We ordered some snacks to share and the portions are not big enough for the price. All in all, i do recommend you to give it a try!

Been twice, on recent football trips to the Netherlands, found this gem of a bar. Food was very nice and a good choice, so was the beer. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great people. Definitely recommend.

Great brewery. Very good atmosphere, the waiters are friendly, fast service. Today we have tried the hamburgers. They are not the best or the cheapest, but they are original. We also tried the sweet potatoes and they are undoubtedly the best of dinner. And what about the beer? Any of the menu is incredible. Local very well located and strangely not crowded, which is appreciated.

Located 100 meters from the main and very busy Meent road (hotspot). It’s a brewery and has a no nonsense interior. Nothing fancy, a simple industrial look. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Burgers are great! Sweet potatoe fries and wings are highly recommended as side dishes. And they have beers, lots of beers. I had the Stuntman and this one i really enjoyed. Good place in the city center!

Excellent restaurant with a very good beer menu and great food. If the other itens of their menu are well served as their ribs, I need to try it all. Their terras at the sidewalk of Nieuwe Binnenweg is nice and cool, the service is efficient and friendly and the beers are served perfectly. I can't stress enough how the rubs were well served and tasted really good.

Kind sevice! My waiter was the kindest guy who I have ever met in the catering industry. His name is Tim! He helped me to taste some of their beer sortiment before I acitually have them. He was taking care about that I feel myself comfortable. Thank you very much for this experience Tim! Nice job! The flamand stew was decoretid nice, tasted relly good! The atmosphere is cool, their terrace is nice! RELLY RECOMENDED! I will come back for some beer! 😀

The selection of beer is great. Service is also great. Food taste is great too, but - portions are not really good, selection of food on website and on site are not the same, they didn't have anything sweet for the end, etc. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of some of the plates - some of the portions were really for laughing how small they are. If you are coming for beer, this is great place. Think twice about food.

A must go to bar every time I am in Rotterdam. A lot of beer on tap and bottle. Good food and great service. Inside is a typical brown pub, and outside a streedside sitting area. A good selection of Belgian beers and also local beers like IPA, sours and more.

We stopped here for a beer duringourfood tour. The place brews their own beer in multiple varieties. On a pleasant evening, it was delightful to sit outside in their café. Both mine and my wife's beers tasted wonderfully.

Kaapse Maria has such a unique vibe — moody, eclectic, and full of character. The drinks are creative without trying too hard, and the music is always on point. It feels like one of those places where you instantly want to become a regular. Great spot for late-night conversations and people-watching.

I’ve rarely encountered such poor service at a bar. We had a reservation for Friday afternoon drinks, yet it took almost half an hour before our first round arrived. This wasn’t due to a lack of staff — there were five people behind the bar — but simply because no one seemed in any hurry to serve customers. The second round wasn’t any better. We ordered 13 beers, and after ten minutes only three had arrived. When we asked what was going on, we were told there was an internet problem affecting the music system — apparently a crisis that required the full attention of all five bar employees. The snacks were acceptable, though the cheese platter was very basic. Overall, an incredibly disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.

Good food and drinks. But the service leaves much to be desired. One woman at the bar was quite rude to me, while the rest of personel was extremely nice. And we got really frustrated when found out that they charged us 15 euros for tips when it was not asked. That’s not the way to treat clients.

Great place and people, too bad Kaapse is a far cry from what it used to be pre-covid. I remember ordering 330ml barrel aged stouts for 6-7 euro and having the time of my life as a beer enthusiast. Now it's all about beer served in "tasting" portions or 250ml anorexic glasses. Getting both inflation and shrinkflation treatments has made me avoid the place completely and prefer more honest breweries elsewhere. It is sad for me every time I come here as Kaapse was always my no.1 place to go, but now it just feels like a tourist trap. It was a good run, though.

Weren't prepared for the reservation, took 45 min to get an appetizer out. All in all, almost 2 hours to serve the 3 course (turned out to be vegetarian) chefs menu.

This place is a little hidden gem in the heart of Rotterdam. Nice drinks... when the weather is nice, very good ambience and the best flammkuchen I've had. Visited them today for a late lunch or early dinner. Ordered a fondue (meatless), a dessert and a bottled cocktail. The fondue tasted nice and the ting of alcohol (unsure what it was) mixed with the cheese led to an interesting flavor and effect. Really nice. The dessert was on point, the waffle felt fresh and it was refreshing. The bottled cocktail gets a 3.25/5 for now and I need a few more experiences to know how I feel properly. Eating on the terrace in pleasant weather is always serene. For the overall experience I feel the prices are very reasonable and I am satisfied with the service. Will be back soon :)

Wish we could give this place more than 5 stars! Unassuming exterior on quiet side street opens into small bar area with restaurant seating around the corner alongside the canal. We were greeted warmly on arrival and offered a beer menu as well as a food menu. I chose the Hutspot, mashed potatoes, carrot, chopped bacon and smoky sausage with gravy. It was hearty and warming. The good lady was more adventurous, trying a blue brie cheese fondue with a meat platter. It was sensational especially when dipping crusty bread or cherry tomatoes. There are numerous beers on tap which always include several from local brewers and 50+ canned & bottled offerings in the fridge. Barman Michael was happy to suggest beers to suit the food, and none of them failed to impress. Unusually we went for dessert and the Tiramichouffe was amazing with the normally rich offering taken to a new level with the addition of a La Chouffe ale sauce. Beers from Kaapse and Jelster were especially good including a smoked lager and a sour. We rounded off the evening with a Jenever.

My dining partner had a cheese fondue and I had the blufbites (pictured), and both were superb 👌👌👌 There are many beers to chose from and I enjoyed a tasting palate, of which the individual beers were well explained. The ample outdoor seating is on the canal which has a beautiful outlook.

Fantastic welcoming and friendly place. Both guest and waitress said hi and through out the visit super fun and happy. We had delicious burger and two difference cheese fondue. Perfectly heated and greasy. Large selection of beers and possibility to taste some of beers before ordering.

Charming little bar, please visit this bar even if its just once. Very homely feel and a great selection of beers. (also some beers off-menu for real beer lovers) The staff is also very helpful and genuinely interested in your taste and opinion. Do not hesitate to ask for advice!

This small, unassuming Dutch bar / restaurant lies adjacent to the riverside (outdoor tables available at the rear). The staff were welcoming & attentive. I ordered a toasted Parma ham / brie sandwich and expected just that...what arrived was so much more - a tasty, stuffed sandwich (plenty of ham & brie) with a side salad. I also had a cappuccino. The cost for this filling meal was a respectable €10.50 - excellent value for the amount & quality of food!

Nice little bar not too far from Rotterdam Centraal. Good selection of draft and bottled beers, although there is no menu for the bottled beers sadly, maybe A4 sized blackboard tablets on the bar with the bottled beers menu would be an idea? I do like the decor inside and there is also some space to sit outside. Quite a decent selection of whisky and gin/jenever too.

A small corner bar with a very chill ambiance. The host us very friendly and it felt like a local bar where people just hangout. There are ample of board games to play, if you are into it..so a nice place to hangout with your friends with decent choice of drinks.

Not recommended for tourists or non-Dutch speakers. Unfortunately, my experience here was quite negative. The owner displayed xenophobic, subtly racist, and homophobic attitudes, which made the environment extremely uncomfortable. If you're a tourist or someone who doesn't speak Dutch, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a more welcoming and inclusive experience.

Very charming, small bar, said to be the smallest in Rotterdam. Had a really nice time talking to the lady behind the bar (Mirjam?) and was surprised by the array of beers, spirits and whiskys, of which they even had Japanese ones. Really nice place to nip in for a drink or have a drink on the terrace outside.

I love going here! Really nice people who can tell you a lot about the special beers they have and it's a fun place. Welcoming to any kind of people. They have tiny live music sometimes too, it fun! And a lot of choice in beers.

Surprisingly, the foods are amazing! Came here for a comedy night the other day, so didnt manage to enjoy the outdoor seating, but the foods were great! It’s too bad that their beef wellington (the menu I was super excited to try) has bacon in it, so could not eat any of it, but the rest of the foods are really nice. Really nice settings, helpful staff, great food, nice wines, and verryyyy romantic. Price is also very reasonable. Perfect for a date night or cute brunch spot

Pretty cool spot to grab a beer or some food. It's a floating brewery and also has gigs and events. I had the brewers wiezen and it was pretty good. Food wasn't bad but it is a little pricey.

We had a wonderful experience at Vessel11. I’d highly recommend you check it out! The food was delicious. I know I’m going to crave their fish and chips soon. But it’s not only their main, the sticky toffee pudding was delicious, and I can’t wait to return to try the banananoffee tart, the chocolate lava cake, or the millionaire’s slice. The waiter who helped us made great recommendations, they were attentive and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more. The view from the top deck is lovely (if it’s a sunny day, make sure to check it out), but there’s also seating inside. If you needed any more reasons to visit - there’s a Pac-Man machine downstairs (which you can play for free) and a dance floor and piano. What a vibe! Go now!

A very nice unique restaurant on a boat. Beautiful red exterior and very cozy interior makes you feel very comfortable and excited. They have a nice terrace on the ship with a camp fire kinda setup in the centre and tables around the bar. The service is very nice and the food is decent. They also have a good options for the drinks you can order.

A fantastic, beautiful, and unique boat. It’s an old lighthouse vessel that has been renovated. We only had drinks, but the staff was attentive and friendly, and we had a great experience.

Had a very good time dining at Vessel 11. The food was fantastic. The calamari tasted great and was very well presented. The cheeseburger was delicious and the fries also tasted great.

It is an ok british restaurant. Staff was very kind, house beers were great, but the food was just ok. Chicken quesadillas were fine, although the chicken was dry. Beef Wellington did not meet the expectations for the price. The meat was overcooked and dry. Salad and fries were good.

I thoroughly enjoyed the traditional ambiance of this establishment. Their extensive beer menu thoughtfully included a glossary of terms, which was very helpful. I was delighted to find Tripple Karmeliet on the menu and, despite the early hour, ordered a bottle. Wishing to sample some traditional Dutch cuisine, I selected the Bitterballen. These were served with a mild mustard dipping sauce and were truly delicious. I shall certainly order them again. The serving contained nine, though I only managed half, so I took the remainder with me. I can confirm that they remain quite palatable even when cold.

This was my fourth time visiting. I had come three times just for drinks, and this time I tried the unlimited mussel dishes. Unfortunately, the first waiter didn’t explain the details about the food and drinks clearly. We didn’t know that only tap beer was included with the meal, so we were later charged extra for our drinks. Also, the side dish can be chosen between bread and fries, but we weren’t given the option and were simply served fries. Despite these issues, I still enjoyed my time there. I noticed many of the staff working hard, though a few seemed tired and less friendly. I hope the service can be a bit better next time.

A great and cozy place to enjoy some good food and drinks together with some friends, family or by yourself. I was here on a Monday afternoon around 5.45PM, it was not busy and there were a lot of tables to choose from. The personnel is welcoming, friendly and proactive. I had the Grilled Diamond Bavette, with roasted vegetables, bearnaise sauce and chimichurri. It was tasty, although I did add some salt because it was a little bit under seasoned for my taste. The fries were nice and crispy and added the little bit of salt, which was definitely needed to provide some balance to the dish.

The lunch was nothing special and the coffee not really good. We have ordered a croque madame and the croissants as well Americano and cappuccino. The service was completely disorganised. They came to our table two times with a wrong order. An avocado sandwich instead of the croissants and a croque Madame which was actually sth like ham and kaas tosti without bechamel sauce in brown Bread and not in white as I requested. I expected the staff to be more careful and attentive when they take and bring orders. The coffee nothing special. I am not coming here again for breakfast or lunch.

Nice spot to stop & have a coffee, beer and to try some Bitterballen! They offer decent brunch/lunch menu and there is plenty of seating both outside & in. This is a great location between the train station and city centre, perfect stop-off is you are exploring the city.

A narrow bar which have very clean interior and serves a good amount of drinks and food. They have good choices to make with clear descriptions. The hosts are very friendly and very quick with their service. They have a unique sip &taste menu where they combine beers of different types with spirits. We had IPA with aged tequila and sour with aged rum. It's such an interesting experience and would recommend to give it a try.

Very poor service. Friday night, not super busy, we ordered 3 beers in the terrace, one nachos and bitter ballen. They completly forgot our order and it took like 50min to get just few nachos for 15€..

And the food was lacking much taste. I had the burger (looked like one for McDonald's) and my wife had the Empanadas. Great atmosphere on the street Cafe. Probably will go back just for drinks.

Thoms is slowly becoming my default go-to place/bar in Rotterdam. I like it for many reasons. A decent selection of beers at the brewery (plus some guest appearances), coupled with music that is a good mix of retro + modern disco-house and not too loud, make this a place that is very nice for a relatively relaxed evening with friends. It's also perfect for catching up with a friend whom you haven't met in a while, but don't want to go to a coffee house / cafe. The sheer size of the place means that you don't have to squeeze through people to be accommodated. Bonus: The staff is friendly as well! Always worth a visit.

THOMS Brewery occupies the ground floor of a boxy modern architecture building. The distinctive facade of the brewpub consists of a long row of semicircular floor-to-roof glass windows. They look like halves of glass tubes, and create a unique distorted view to the interior. Outside along the side wall is a long row of wooden picnic tables, and outside on the side with the entrance is a large patio. The patio has numerous tables under colorful string lights, a nice space. Just inside on the left is their brewery. They have a compact cluster of 4 stainless steel brewing vessels. Along the side wall are 8 short stainless steel fermenters stacked double high. It is an efficient use of space in the nearly three-story tall corner space that the brewery occupies. Along the glass walls are many long high top tables and booths. In the center is their large 25-stool polished wooden bar. Overhead are 8 horizontal steel lagering and serving tanks which were installed in 2018. The bar has bright red pipe tap towers with 7 house beers on tap. They also carry a guest tap of Amstel Light. Their house beer is basically just average, but it is intriguing. Usually my preference is higher alcohol beers, but here I was really drawn to the low 3% NEIPA, which is also a staff favorite. I also enjoyed their more traditional Hoppy Pale Ale. The beer can be had by glass or 3-beer sampler flight. At several of the tables are taps to pour-your-own, a fun activity for groups. The bar is also fully stocked with a wide range of liquors, cocktails and wine. The brewpub has generous opening hours and great service. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The kitchen is a bit slow in preparing the food, but for what I ordered it was totally worth the wait. Their menu consists of gastropub appetizers, salads, burgers, crunchy bread sandwiches, mussels, and a few pub entrees. Honestly, they were some of the best Moules et Frites I've ever had - succulent and heavy herbed mussels with perfectly crispy fries. Delicious. The atmosphere of the place is upbeat and friendly. There is a motif of red colors and the modern architecture is offset by leafy greenery near the windows. The background music is a fun mix of 60's to 80's pop and disco. It is a fun place for drinks and food.

Great session IPA along with other great beer. Highly recommend anyone to come for the beer and enjoy themselves. Also, the service is great and the staff is the best I’ve seen around.

Proeflokaal Faas is a typical Rotterdam establishment; hidden in plain sight, unique vibe and no pretence. Their selection of beers is great and the staff are friendly too. The last time I was there, there was live music as well. The acoustics were surprisingly good. Definitely a place for regular visits.

Met some great people in the bar when I visited Tuesday (12/08/25) and even connected with them on socials, I am English but people there was happy to teach me Dutch and speak English to me, the bar staff are amazing, great music and even the security guard on that night was amazing, checked my ID and considering it was a British passport he completed it very quick and wished me a good night, definitely will visit again when I am back next month and also in October when I come back again.

This was hands down the best bar experience we have had in Europe thus far. Stunning building with lots of history, you have to wonder who’s been here before in its time! It also survived the 1940 bombing and has had lots of intricate interior and painting put in. The building is neat and very cool to appreciate the history. The bartender was so very friendly! He was sharing photos, books and info about the bar and history as well as things that have been restored! He was very kind and made the experience more special. This is a must visit place! They do have food but kitchen is only certain days and times!

A neat little place tucked on the side of the canal with both indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re lucky you could also find an indoor table on the side of the bar overlooking the canal. They have a good range of beers on tap. The beers on tap keep changing. They also do coffee and food if you’re looking for a spot in the area. The bartender is really helpful and helps you pick what you want to drink. Also available is Rotterdam cheese and sausage that pairs nicely with the beer.

Wonderful bar and location in Rotterdam Delfshaven. This bar welcomes both the regular locals and the travelers. On a sunny day sitting on the Delfshaven bridge enjoying a cold one and playing a board game: life doesn’t get better than that. Indoor also some good seating with views over the water.

I love this bar! As a person who used to work in a brewery, I can tell all of the beers here are special and delicious, so well-made! Service was always fast and kind, and the atmosphere, just next to the Maas river with the view on Rotterdam, is priceless. I always live to come here back and taste new beer specialties!

The bartender was very friendly, very knowledgeable. Happy to talk to us as we only had a short visit. The drinks were very high quality, served in nice glasses at a perfect temperature. The price was very reasonable when you consider it's Rotterdam, and this is a smaller brewery. The location is great too, I'd love to revisit in the summer and sit outside. Spotless toilets too, which is worth mentioning.

Five minutes later he comes and stands in front of me and demands that i down my drink, and won’t leave until i do otherwise. I asked him what time they close, he said in 20 mins, so i asked why i’m being pressured to finish my drink. And then he replied “a little pressure always works”. I’ve been there twice within a year, both times on a weekday around noon. The service was excellent—quick and friendly. The Two Chefs Brewing White Mamba tastes marvelous on tap, and the burgers are fresh, flavorful, and well put together. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

I went for the veggie classic and my friend for the bonanza. Also 2 cocktails and some drinks. The burgers were divine, the cocktails next level and the service was perfect. Can't recommend this place enough. Another visit another success. My friend ordered the steak and absolutely loved it. My classic veggie burger and sweet potato fries were on point as as well. The cocktails tasted great as well. Keep up the good work. Probably the best burger place in Rotterdam for both vegetarian and meat based burgers. The sauces are on point, the meat is good quality and the veggie patties are tasty. When served the buns are the perfect amount of crisp and soft. The burgers themselves are not too saucy which makes it a very nice experience for me. The veggies used are fresh and crisp. Overall I have enjoyed each experience of eating here and id highly recommend this place. For the quality and experience I feel the prices are fair. I've been here several times and the consistency of good quality and taste is phenomenal. The service offered is friendly and helpful but not the swiftest and the seating is fine but not the most comfortable. Keep up the good work and see you soon.

Went here as a couple. God knows how this place has won awards for burgers! Food was well below average: Standard quality, little attention to detail, basic flavour. The fries were bland and seemed like any average 'oven chip' you'd get from a supermarket. Staff were efficient and attentive though. Overall: Don't waste your time on this overpriced and seemingly overrated place.

We arrived late with our nervous dog and were welcomed so warmly at Het Witte Huis, even though the kitchen had pretty much closed. The staff went out of their way to make us a smashed burger, sardine spaghetti, and bitterballen – all of which were absolutely delicious. The burger in particular was one of the best I’ve ever eaten, clearly made with care. We tucked ourselves into a cosy corner with beers while our dog relaxed and fell asleep, and the staff never rushed us, even though we were the last ones in. We’ve rarely felt so genuinely welcomed in a bar, and the kindness of the team made the evening unforgettable. Thank you for such a lovely experience – we can’t wait to come back on our next visit to Rotterdam!

An iconic location with a great atmosphere. Cannot overstate that you need to visit this place. Experience something outside Amsterdam with history and atmosphere. This place is evolving and yet rooted in history. Just the best. The Bolwerk is coming back…watch this space.

Amazing building in the old harbour area. It looks most impressive in the summer when surrounded by green trees the white facade shines bright like a diamond. While visiting the cube houses (what everybody does) it would be a shame not to make those few steps and see this end of the XIXth century building.

A landmark building in Rotterdam. This building is known as the first skyscraper in Europe being 10 storeys high. Also this is one of the very few buildings which survived the world war bombings. Now this is functioning as a restaurant. Worth take a visit to this historical place.

Nice place, we went on a Tuesday afternoon and there were barely any people there. I tried a strawberry iced tea and a cheesy chicken toast from K-ea and both were very tasty. There is primarily Asian cuisine, but I also saw a pizza place and a Mexican one. There are toilettes. It’s not a very big food court though, so not that many options.

Nice food court concept with plenty of options to choose from. You can either order from the QR code on the table or go directly to the stand and order. The QR has limited options so better to check the menu directly from the stands. Service is quick and the atmosphere is cosy. The decor is artistic with a modern flair and well integrated with the rest of the place. Food is decent and price is ok for what you get. Would recommend.

Day trip to Rotterdam and we called into the Food Hallen for lunch (we go to FH Amsterdam a lot!). Same owners and same set-up - really friendly and very busy and some really delish food. Try the Playa chicken drumsticks for 2 (A MAY ZING) and the Taqueria Lima Mexican burritos (FAB U LUS) - totally recommended!

Pizzas were eatable but they baked the raw ham in the oven, paella from the Spanish stand was two spoons of frozen food heaten in the oven (for 10 euro) and I had to return it back and file a complaint. From the same stand, 5 rings of calamari for 15 euro, a rip off. The Japanese dish was decent instead. I won't advise this place for lunch or dinner, maybe for a drink If you like crowded spaces

The foodhall has a very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately we ordered tapas. Stay far away from the tapas, they have nothing to do with spain. Very small, really expensice portions and poor taste. Other food stalls looked very good. ☺️

Watching the Euro 2024 at Panenka was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was filled with football passion, and the excitement of the fans was truly impressive. The quality of the screens was excellent, so we didn’t miss any details of the matches. The staff was very friendly, and the service was quick. The menu could use a bit more variety. Prices were reasonable as well. Overall, it’s an ideal place to watch football matches. With a few minor improvements, it could be even better.

Great to watch games. Great place to watch all your favourites games but not only. It' s 2 floors and on the 2nd there is a wonderful grandstand with wooden benches. There are tables with visible screens all around tough to watch something specific not on the biggest screen. Best you book in advance if you want to watch some specific game. Food is ok, Nachos are spectacular, crunchy and cheesy. Spere ribs also are a plus as well as other snacks. Good selections of bottled beers and on tap Heineken and Murphy's the night we were there so also ok. Staff is always super kind and helpful for everything you need. Best place to watch the games in the city center of Rotterdam and have a meal with a beer! Recommended

Friendly and welcoming service. We really enjoyed the mixed meat nachos accompanied with several beers on the terrace while watching the world go by. The beer tasted fresh and crisp too.

For me, the best place to watch sports in Rotterdam. Excellent and friendly staff and just fingerfood, which is what you demand when you are watching a good football game. Came here to see the basketball and the rugby World Cups also, so they do not only put just football on the TV.

King kong hostel is in a fantastic central location, right in the heart of Rotterdam’s nightlife. The street is lively and full of bars, making it a great spot if you're looking to enjoy the local scene. Dorm rooms are decent, though not the cleanest. If you’re a light sleeper, don’t forget earplugs! Noise from the bars can last until 4 AM, and it's tough to sleep without them. Fun vibe overall, but best suited for partygoers.

The service here was fabulous and the staff were friendly. The location is also fabulous. It's on a very busy street for nightlife and within a 10 minute walk of Rotterdam central, but the rooms...... If travelling in a large group we usually book out the whole room of a hostel, this is for convenience, cost (due to being a regular traveller) and not having to worry too much about valuables etc. However this hostel actually had no bedroom door! We were blessed with a curtain as were the other 3 rooms on the same floor. Our room had two extra beds that had a lot of old bedding rustled up all over it and the general presentation was quite poor.

Really enjoyed it here, staff were so helpful and friendly and accomodating. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The only thing would be the noise. It is right next to the party street so be aware this will be audible. Apart from that, great!

Convenient location, clean room-beds. In the negatives, only 2 showers and 2 wc for a whole floor (2nd floor). No door between rooms (in our room 10 people) for around 50 people who share the floor. A little overpriced.

Ok, first I said wow such a good location but then regretted. I stayed one night (Friday night), till 3,4 am the noise and sounds are coming to your room, till 5am the travellers in the hostel are comiand going and slamming the door, there is no such a door and just a curtain, I couldn’t sleep at all, plus the room temperature was not good and my window had no curtains to block the light. Overall I don’t recommend unless you just want to put your stuff and go out and hang out till morning.

Don’t stay here if you are cycling. We chose this hostel because they told us that they would be able to accommodate our bicycles in a secure location. Upon arriving, they said they couldn’t fit any more bicycles in, and that we would have to leave them on the street outside. They assured us that they were safe and that someone would be on reception 24 hours. Unfortunately, when we came down in the morning our locks had been cut through and the bikes were gone. This ruined our cycling holiday and left us stranded in Rotterdam, still 3 days until our ferry home. All this because the hosts were dishonest about their ability to safely store bicycles, and forced us to leave them on a dangerous street.

When it comes to wine bars, this one is EPIC! Unlike any other, the employees are educated on wine and bring you bottles that suit your taste. That’s right NO WINE LIST! Trust the process, I’ve never been steered wrong. Stop in, grab a cheese board and a glass (or two) and enjoy Rotterdam.

The interior is minimalistic and modern, the owner and staff are very warm and will do a lot to make you feel welcome. Food available mainly consists of snacks and cheese and meat boards. The food we had was very tasty and well presented. Would recommend this bar to anyone visiting Rotterdam.

This place has nice outdoor seating and is great for a sunny day. Staff was friendly and helpful, service was fast. Did get the feeling that there was not enough waiting staff for the amount of tables bur it was during a festival. Nice menu with great snack and food options. Loads of beers on tap.

Great selection of craft and international beers and tasty snacks including deep fried meaty morsels bitterbollen. Pretty quiet when I visited on a Sunday afternoon, but nice ambiance and decoration, plus all very clean. Friendly helpful staff.

Rotterdam certainly has some good beer stores but this one is it's undisputed champion. A fine selection and great knowledge of those beers. They also carry a good selection of cider, whiskey and other local liquors.
