I always look forward to visiting castles, but this one was disappointing, especially for the 10 euros ticket. The castle is currently under renovation and only the ground floor is accessible. While the exhibited artifacts are in great condition the things to see overall are very few, the whole visit 20-30 minutes.

A large part of the castle is either being renovated, still being dug up or used for conferences. The resulting visit consists of two rooms with video presentations which while well done, do get a bit slow and boring. One room of pottery shards and one of “immersive projections”. Did not feel entertaining or interesting enough for the ticket fee. Admittedly one of the few big things to see in bari - schedule 30-45mins for this if you visit.

The castle is a fascinating place to explore. While much of the space seems austere and blank, the curators have done a wonderful job of using audio visual tools to augment the experience. There is tremendous history here and many fascinating things to enjoy. Well worth the €10 price.

Entrance year was free. Don’t ask me why. Sorry guys. But even if we would have had to pay the 10 euro it would have defy been worth it. It’s such a cool castle and we’ve seen quite a few now. Love the videos depicting life long ago. Getting to see the archaeological areas was cool. Too bad you can’t go on the wall and get a good view of the city.

Octagonal castle 1 hour drive away from Bari city center. Very plain, 8 bare rooms inside with 44 steps to top. The outside vantage view of the lands is nice but not worth the visit.

A really great castle, it has many rooms and also some places with some examples how people live here in past. Also a little presentation on wall - history of Bari and surroundings. The entrance fee 10€ was worth it. ( they gave discount for young people 18-25 - 2€ fee) Also they have toilets there. We were there almost 2 hours.

This is worth a visit but not easy to find. First enter the cathedral and then go down the stairs to the right of the altar towards the crypt. Before entering the crypt, there's a small door on the left with a metal gate. If you are lucky, there will be someone there to take your money and let you in. This door isn't always manned even when the Succorpo is technically open. But the ruins and reconstruction are fascinating and the signs are in both Italian and English.

Once again a great bit of history in this wonderful city.

I thought I was buying tickets for the archeological museum, it turned out they are just for the museum (gallery which honestly is not interesting at all). So if you want to see the archeological part you need to buy a full ticket which is ok but something I did not understand at the time.

Smoking area doesn't have a good ventilation. The glasses were not clean, had a lipstick stain. They don't have some items in the menu, like piña colada which is not a very hard cocktail to make. They charge 1 extra euro for "sitting" which is ridiculous since the place was empty. I also didn't like to vibe.

Typical bar with good vibes. Drinks are fairly priced, food not sooo much but didn't get a chance to try it. Has a large selection of bard games that can be borrowed for 1 euro each. Theres a smoking area which is nasty, but what can you do.

Lp atmosphere for aperitivo, i went there with my friends and we enjoy our time.. Unfortunately they don't have fresh juice.. So healthy people who's nonalcoholic will find a diffeculity to choose a drink, but other than that everything is very nice, the staff is very kind, and the location is in very center of Bari also food is great 😊

At least I don't know other bars which stays opened after midnight in Bari, so no doubt taverna is the best place for hangout. We were there in August and getting super anyway in the center of Bari seemed impossible, so we ended up getting two panzerotti and an arancino to go. Very attentive service despite the crowds. The food was okay.

The panzerotti had great flavour and various different types. They did have a lot of water in them though from the cheese and sauce.

We came in on a Saturday night not knowing what to expect - we found great food, great atmosphere, great prices! Big line of people but we were served quickly and with a smile :) Highly recommended if you want to escape the touristy places nearby. Octopus bun and piadine were delicious! Pizzas looked good too. Great focaccia and lots of varied food to offer. The staff isn't particular nice or helpful, especially if you're a foreigner who obviously has some questions about the different foods. Anyway, nice place for a snack.

Very good pizza in fast food place. It's more like a fast food bar than a restaurant, but food was tasty and price attractive. I payed 5,5 € for good pizza.
