Right Proper Brewing Company is a delightful gem nestled in the vibrant Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. This homegrown brewery, co-owned by Rocklands Barbeque's John Snedden, boasts two unique locations that cater to beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike. At the Shaw Brewpub & Kitchen, guests can indulge in a rotating array of housemade brews crafted on-site using a small-batch brewing system.
Really glad we stopped here while in DC for the week - staff were very friendly and attentive, tons of seating, and the food was extremely good. I could have eaten a whole meal of just the house made kettle chips, they were addicting! Had a couple tasty beers too, my favorite was the Old World Charm.

Looking for that hip little spot? Here it is!! The right proper brewing company is the place to be! My wife and I were looking for something quick to eat, we asked somebody at the Howard where could we go and they pointed in this direction. We walked in and we agreed with friendly staff and I’ll tell you the food was pretty darn good for bar food. The kettle chips were to die for. I’ve never had a kettle chip like this. The mac & cheese was phenomenal. My wife says the watermelon salad was really great as well, we will definitely stop by again!

We held a baby shower here and had a fabulous experience. Planning was smooth with great communication from Erika. We rented the Duke Ellington room, which was really cute. We ordered the food a few weeks in advance and brought a cake. The food was delicious and Kent and Mike were so kind and gracious to all the guests. Several guests brought babies and small children and all felt welcome. I will absolutely host events here in the future. Thank you right proper!!! 🩷

Great selection of beers, other drinks, and eats. Highly recommend the fried cheese curds which are AMAZING.

If you are planning event I highly recommend this location! Erika, the event planner at this location went above and beyond to make our night run so smoothly. It was such a wonderful event and I would plan any event here always! The staff were so welcoming and wonderful! Thank you so much to Erika and the whole team. Our ocean prom was perfect with your help!

Very interesting and unique brewery! I really loved how this place leans into the weird by showcasing local art and tarot card readings. Great atmosphere and decorations, and the bouncer was a great guy. Service was a little slow. They were super busy so I don’t blame them too much, but the wait was really long. I tried their Barrel Aged Bock, and it was delicious. On a less quieter night, this place would be perfect.
Connor R — Google review
Nice brewery in DC. The area is definitely still "up and coming". We went on a Sunday and found street parking after circling the block a few times. Next time I would take metro, which is right around the corner. The beer options included many of their well known favorites but there were a few that were new to me. The place itself is very nice. Tons of bar seating and there is a patio outside. Service was great. Definitely stop by if you are in the Shaw area

Um. Ok. What?! Ordered food from here from the Howard and it was so good that we plan to visit y'all separately from what we had tonight. We expected theatre food. This wasn't that! Ok chicken tenders, what?! And excuse you, you unexpected delicious chicken sandwich. And whatever that honey mustard was, DANG. You know what, also props to y'all for including enough sauce! I forgot to eat today and thought I was just ordering calories to get me through. No ma'am. I sure wasn't. It was a dang GOOD meal. Thank you for that! I got no pics because I was STARVING. See y'all soon!

If you find yourself at the airport and in need of a bite to eat, make sure to swing by Atlas Brew Works. This gem stands out from the typical airport fare with its hot coffee, delicious breakfast sandwiches, and friendly service. While prices may be on the higher side, the quality of food and drink makes it worth every penny. The spacious atmosphere is perfect for relaxing before your flight, complete with charging stations to keep your devices powered up.
amazing chicken tenders, airport bar or not. good food, friendly and fast service, great beer, not too pricey. life could be worse!
Jack Q — Google review
I am very hard to displease, but this place sucks. Came here after a cancelled flight. Ordered a drink and they were super slow to bring it out. Ordered a flatbread and side salad and waited over an hour and a half for it. The person delivering food kept coming to see me so I didn’t think they had lost my order. Had to walk up to the waiter and ask because he stopped coming to check on me. Turns out they put it in a to go container for some reason so my waiter missed it and never brought it out. They offered it to me after it had sat there for over an hour. The waiter said it was “actually a funny story.” Not so funny to me - I’m still hungry. They said the kitchen was closed so they couldn’t make anything else. I just left after that. At least I got a buzz from the Long Island iced tea.
Cooper K — Google review
Convenient location within the airport with good eats and brews. I would recommend if your traveling through and not in a hurry. Service was delayed a bit and the prices can be kind of steep but overall the food was good and convenient.
Joe L — Google review
Came here just for a drink after a delayed flight. Two out of the three IPAs were out even though it was early afternoon on a Wednesday. My girlfriend and I ordered one beer each and immediately told the server we would like to close out. My beverage was handed to me with beer all down the side of the glass and no napkins were offered. Halfway through our drinks we still hadn’t received a check. I had to flag down a separate server to ask, and waited another 10 minutes before it was brought to the table. Our menus also sat on the table the entire hour we were there, the server never even asked for them back even after handing us the check. Thankfully we had time to kill but being that this restaurant is in an airport they NEED to have a higher sense of attentiveness and urgency because people may have flights to catch. This was absolutely one of the worst hospitality / F&B customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
Austin F — Google review
Food wasn’t really good at all. We ordered kids chicken tenders with fries, tenders were over cooked and not a lot of chicken in them. We also got the pretzel and it was huge, as our server advised. It was pretty ok, some parts were burnt and hard and other parts were still doughy. Our saving grace was our server Sarah. She was fantastic. There were so many people and with the help of other staff she kept her cool and kept checking in on all of the tables. I’ve been a server so I could feel the panic in myself with table after table being sat but she kept her cool. Really enjoyed her.

Nice local brew draft beer!🍻 perfect spot before boarding
Tommy T — Google review
Terrible service and food subpar, way subpar. Server brought coffee but no sugar and we had to walk to them to get the sugar. Breakfast platter came with burned bacon, overcooked fried eggs(3) and when asked to change them the answer was that they can bring only 1. No potatos, they forgot they run out of them ( it was 10am). Manager was MIA. Not the place to have food in the B concourse. No wander why it was so empty!
Jose P — Google review
The food is very basic. Friendly service. The chicken wings are tasteless, the onion rings tastes strange.

Bluejacket is a renowned microbrewery and restaurant located in a century-old former factory, making it a must-visit destination for craft beer enthusiasts. The establishment offers an impressive selection of 25 drafts and cask ales curated by ChurchKey's Greg Engert and brewer Megan Parisi. The attached restaurant, the Arsenal, features upscale comfort food created by the talented husband-and-wife team of Kyle Bailey and Tiffany MacIsaac from ChurchKey/Birch & Barley.
Great Atmosphere, Delicious Food & Craft Beer! These guys from Bluejacket definitely brightened up the evening. Everything was spot on — delicious food, a great selection of their own craft beer, and a welcoming vibe all around. I definitely recommend visiting… just don’t take up all the seats 😉 Save a table for me next time!
Denis — Google review
What a cool atmosphere and cozy vibe. The industrial architecture and low lighting make this perfect for grabbing a drink. I came on a Saturday evening and it was busy but not crowded. I could hear everyone in my group. The sour I had (blue jacket crush-a-lot) was just okay. Not bad, but would consider it average. My friend had an espresso martini which she said for a brewery wasn’t too bad. Overall, the drinks are just okay. The have plenty to choose from, but i loved the atmosphere!
Alex P — Google review
It’s really a mixed bag. The service was good and so was the beer. Great beer actually. It was the food that brought this down to a three. For what you’re paying, the portions are so small and specifically for the biscuits and gravy, we went towards the end of their brunch hours and the biscuits were very stale - like rocks. It was as if they were baked from the day before. Would come back for the beer but that’s a long shot since I likely won’t go out of my way to go back anytime soon.
Ryan V — Google review
The atmosphere was extraordinary, making it a place I would normally rate five stars. However, I must point out the extremely disappointing service from the host, Natitude 23. Her rude behavior, poor attitude, and unprofessional demeanor truly shocked me. From the moment we arrived, her lack of hospitality stood out—she made faces, carried herself with an unpleasant attitude, and even wore dark sunglasses indoors, which made it impossible to tell who she was addressing. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a restaurant host. Thankfully, the evening was redeemed by Carmen Torre Alba, who offered exceptional service. She was warm, patient, and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding our party with great suggestions and ensuring we had a wonderful dining experience. Carmen represents what true hospitality should look like! Blue Jacket, your food and atmosphere are phenomenal—but please take note of the disconnect at the front door. First impressions matter, and not every guest may be lucky enough to have a “Carmen” to turn their experience around.

3.5⭐ Overall a very good brewery with an ok kitchen. Been here quite a few times before for drinks but this was my first time eating here. Came before a Nats game so it was fairly busy but we were seated right away. Our waiter was very friendly and got our appetizer and drink orders quickly. The beers, as per usual, were very good. The issue with the food is mostly serving size, for example the deviled eggs ($13) is just two eggs or the waffles ($16) is actually two smaller waffles, and two slices of bacon. The issue really isn't quality, all of the food tasted very good, it's just the price/portion ratio sometimes seems a bit out of balance. Still, the place is very clean, bright and well lit, and despite getting loud when busy (it's quite cavernous) it's one of the better casual options in Navy Yard.
Conor T — Google review
Visited March 2025. I really enjoyed my experience at Bluejacket! Was stunned to try to food and discover how tasty it was. I loved the tomato soup and grilled cheese! Doesn’t necessarily pair well with a craft brew, but it worked for me. As for the beer… went for the Forbidden planet which was super tasty. Then I decided to be adventurous and tried the Discreet Charm and WOAH what a brew. Tasted like I was outside at a fire-pit on a fall evening. It was a while since I was there but the staff behind the bar were super friendly and helped us select our menu choices for both food and beverages and allowed us to enjoy some basketball on TV.
Lucas P — Google review
The place has a good vibe. Service and beer selection are good. But the fish and chips is disappointing. Everything is extremely salty we couldn't finish. The amount of salt is unbelievable. And for $24, I think they could have made this better.

Nestled in the vibrant Northeast D.C., Hellbender Brewing Company is a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts. Established in 2014 by Ben Evans and Patrick Mulane, this brewery takes its name from the largest salamander in North America, reflecting its commitment to both quality and sustainability.
Awesome craft brewery. I went during the Record/Vinyl event and it was an awesome time. They had a variety of different styles that has me wanting to come back versus just all IPAs. Shoutout to the brewers because they make awesome beer. I’d recommend this to spot to anyone and they always have food trucks around which is great!
Brendan G — Google review
Neat little brewery tucked away in the back of a neighborhood and fairly accessible off of the red line. Came here after work on a Friday and found it fairly quiet. Ordered a flight and found all 4 beers to be pretty good. The lime and salt lager was the stand out for me personally though, really refreshing.
Conor T — Google review
Fun, local, great beer. Seriously, what more do you want in a place? Tucked back in a neighborhood that gives it a laid back and easy atmosphere. Owners are friendly and staff is knowledgeable. If you haven't been here, why not?
Jason S — Google review
Small brewery in quiet neighborhood. Great beer selection and space to chill in two spaces - a warehouse area and tasting room with TVs and dartboards. Really enjoyed the Guava Lamp Sour, Hoppier Days, and the Uptown Anthem IPA. Each had great flavor and finish. Worth a visit (or two or three…)
Benjamin — Google review
Cinder was parked outside Hellbender Brewing, and we were lucky to feast on their bbq. Especially the brisket sandwich. Hope we’ll get to try the restaurant next time we’re back in Maryland. Tender meat from the smoker, full of flavor, and the apricot beans were awesome too. Happened to pair very well with Hellbender’s michelada made with their kolsch and in-house michelada mix.
Lou — Google review
I liked this place a whole lot . It was in the cut , but they served great beer. I would love to live close to this brewery. Cool prices with cool atmosphere. Flights are always a plus .
BREW G — Google review
Gotta have love for beer with a purpose, so I totally support Hellbender. Their Kolsch is great, definitely one of my favorites, esp on tap. Note: I generally drink dark beers, like black dark, like dark side of the moon dark, like 2am in the middle of the Shenandoahs 🌑 dark... {ahem} What I'm trying to say is that I really like dark beer, but I do enjoy Hellbender Kolsch. After all, variety is the spice of life! 🍻
Vera O — Google review
This place is great with an amazing menu that changes constantly. Food trucks and events on a nice rotation too. However, beware of the families that like to take over the tasting room. It can be a bit much. I can see allowing kids during the daytime, but during a happy hour and before closing, it's eyebrow raising. I can't fault them for people who can't control their kids, but come on, it's basically a bar once the sun sets. Love the neighborhood feel but no one wants to hear your kids screaming and crying while trying to have a conversation. I wouldn't review if this didn't happen more than once or twice. Unfortunately, they lose a star because of this.

Nestled in the vibrant NoMa neighborhood, Red Bear Brewing Co. stands out as a unique gem in Washington, D.C.'s craft beer scene. As the only 100 percent gay-owned brewery in the District, it brings a refreshing twist to local brewing culture. The founders' Seattle roots shine through with an impressive selection of hoppy West Coast IPAs and inventive ales that cater to diverse palates.
Best smash burger I've had in a long time, full of flavor and juicy. French fries are very good. loved the seasoning on the FF. . The in house Root Beer was fantastic. The dipping sauce that comes with the cheese curbs was very good. Only thing I'd suggest is signage on how to order and where to find a menu. Maybe use QR codes at tables. Great place to eat!
Liz P — Google review
The hubs says the "beer was great" and that says a lot! I tried a couple cocktails and they were both good. We went for the loaded tots, as they showed Gluten Free (can't guarantee no cross contamination - eat at own risk) and they were really good BUT if you are sensitive at all, I recommend you do not order these. Unfortunately, I was sick all night long, no fun, especially since we were on vacation :(
Holly F — Google review
Great vibe, solid food and interesting beers. Plus, your queer kids will feel welcomed and safe! We tried the ginger carrot saison and the peanut butter chocolate porter. Both were good beers, but I didn't get a lot of peanut butter in the porter. However, it had a nice, smooth chocolate flavor. Being right next to an REI is a bonus!
Kelly I — Google review
This place is not for me. Some beer was good, some was ok. My nachos were cold and the pulled pork sandwich was thin and overpowered by the coleslaw. The $80 bill for 2 ok meals, 1 beer, and 1 flight, I should have went to Dennys.
Randy — Google review
Plenty of seating and a great atmosphere. Tacos on taco Tuesday were really. Fries were also Fresh and hot. The chicken Chipotle sandwhich was spicy of that is what you like.
Joe Q — Google review
To start with the reason they got three stars, this place had genuinely really good beer. I did two flights, and I liked everything I tried. However, I had two pretty big problems. First, this is on the pricier side (my bill came out to $49 for two five-beer flights, this does include a service fee but still pretty steep.) I didn’t really mind this too much because like I said, the beer was good, but I’ve had a lot of good beer at lower price points. Second, and the real knock that inspired me to write a review, was the straight up hostile attitude from my second bartender (first one was great and poured me a lovely flight of his favorites). When I asked him to pour me some of his recommendations for my second flight, he refused and was really rather rude in doing so - not an experience I’ve ever had at a brewery when asking a bartender to pour me their favorites to try on a flight. The bar was pretty empty at the time too, so this wasn’t a matter of me asking for a flight at a busy time, although either way I wouldn’t have expected that response regardless. It left a pretty poor taste and made me want to leave quickly, which was again a shame as I was enjoying the beer and atmosphere.
Abigail L — Google review
Red Bear Brewery is hands-down one of the best spots in DC! Not only is the beer and food consistently amazing, but the atmosphere has such a welcoming, local hometown vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. What I love most is their strong support of the Deaf community and the inclusive space they’ve created for everyone. Truly a gem in the city — great drinks, great people, and a mission that matters. Highly recommend!
David S — Google review
I recently visited Red Bear Brewing Co. and was blown away by their delicious chicken fingers and tasty craft beer selection. The chicken fingers were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. They paired wonderfully with the craft beer I tried—each sip was a burst of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax with friends or enjoy a casual night out. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a great experience. I'll definitely be back!

Fantastic place a 20 minute walk from the metro with lots of street art along the way. Their IPAs were excellent, and a food truck outside available. Lots of lovely people with dogs here when we visited on Wednesday evening.

Great selection and staff. I enjoyed the lukr system and experience offered - little to no neighboring shops offered this. The grounds were filled with great local vendors - had two options! - the favorite for me was both the Pilsner and the Oktoberfest. Enjoying my afternoon walking the trail, there are numerous breweries within a beautiful trail accessible to NoMa northward to RHODE island ave and Brentwood

Really liked the beer and the vibe here. Gertrude Stein quotes painted on the walls of the brewery like a mural and homage to The Lost Generation is a plus. Go above and beyond, and bring a copy of Hemmingway's 'The Sun Also Rises' and read a few chapters while there. It's the right thing to do.

Yes! We have a neighborhood bar in Eckington! Love the atmosphere inside, owners and staff are super nice, and most importantly, the beer and seltzers are very good! 2024 Update: we don't go anywhere else Update 2: still the best. Love the lost gen family. Update 3: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I've been coming to Lost Generation since they opened during COVID and I am so glad this woman-owned, minority-owned bar is still going strong! As someone who drives in from VA, I appreciate that the neighborhood has accessible parking. The fact that Lost Gen is on the MBT is another plus as I make sure to stop at LG before winding my way up to Union Market and then further up NoMa. Decor inside is warm and unique; and I love the wooden and low-tech atmosphere. No tv with cable is sometimes a bummer, but I have been surprised more than once by being engrossed with an old-time movie playing (please though: turn on closed captions!). Bartenders and staff are friendly and definitely know how to handle the room when it gets packed (which it definitely does on occasion). I am a huge fan of their sours and seltzers and love that this bar has more than just IPAs and ales. Each brew is meticulously selected and they put great thought into what is rolled out. Lost Gen is also a fantastic neighborhood hangout that gives back to the community through their various events and I really appreciate a bar serving as a third space to hang out.

By far my favorite brewery in the DMV. Absoultely stellar beer selection from sharp, focused, and flavorful lighter beers like lagers, pilsners, and the like to bolder, richer, and imaginative sours, marzens, and IPAS. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great vibes all around. If you’re going to check out one beer spot in the DMV, make sure it is here.

Lost Generation Brewery is unequivocally the best brewery in Washington, DC. Before even talking about the beer, what’s most striking is how whenever we walk in the doors it feels as if we’re instantly a part of a small community. And now, the beer: amazing, unique, creative, delicious. And there’s more! When I approached Lost Gen about providing the alcohol and bar service for my wedding, I couldn’t have imagined that the experience from planning to execution could have been more fun, creative, easygoing and, at the end of the day, delicious. Our brunch wedding was perfectly complemented by mimosas, bloody marys, and espresso martinis (on draft!), wine, and a selection of Lost Gen beers. I couldn't be happier with my dependable, welcoming, and of course delicious, local brewery both to grab a drink (or a few) with friends or to rely on for any future event.

Nestled in the vibrant Ivy City neighborhood, Other Half Brewing Washington DC is a delightful haven for craft beer enthusiasts and dog lovers alike. Since its opening in 2020, this spacious brewery has become a go-to spot for those seeking an impressive selection of over a dozen IPAs on tap, showcasing everything from West Coast ales to Imperial IPAs.
It's not wrong to call this the best brewery experience in the DC-Maryland-Virginia metro. Tucked away behind a complex with a giant coffee shop and axe-throwing location is Other Half. Having just recently visited their Philadelphia location, this DC location stacks up. The Poetry Snaps rice lager and Handsome stout are both fantastic. Plenty of stickers, two for a buck.

Another great OH taproom. A lot of options on draught and in cans. Nice patio with TV's. Trendy place

A wonderful brewery with so many delicious beers available. They had a massive selection of beers for onsite and to go options. The prices were great especially for the high quality. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. They have arcade games in the back which was great for the kids. A very relaxing atmosphere. Overall if you want to drink a tasty beer solo or with the family this is a great place to check out.

While their location in new York is one of my favorite breweries in the world, this one is also getting up there. Hazy ipas (especially jucy ones) are our favorites and that is exactly what they specialize in. They have about 30 beers and most of them are ipas and hazys. While the space has a decent amount of indoor seating, it is absolutely made for outdoor seating. The open air area was perfect in the nice weather (but also looked like it had heaters for bad weather too). The staff was super friendly and gave us plenty of tasters with their great recommendations. We ended up getting a flight because of the array of good options too. Overall a great spot!

The best brewery in metro DC. Great IPAs, Great pastry stouts, a large selection overall. Cool space with an outdoor patio, some indoor seating and arcade games, often with food trucks available.

Fantastic IPAs (up there with the best we have had in N.E. USA), very friendly staff and a nice outdoor patio.

I was in DC for a couple of days and after a day of sightseeing, was ready to chill and grab some beers. I'm a huge craft beer fan and saw that Other Half's DC location was pretty close to where I was staying. I've had quite a few of their beers and also been to their brewery in Brooklyn, which was boss. This location was equally good. I ended up getting four beers, two NEIPA's, which were both really good and fresh and also two barrel aged beers, one was great, the other not so much. Service was on point and the guy behind the bar was very friendly and accommodating. It is a large space with outdoor seating and there was a quiz going on while I was there. You can also buy beer to take away too.

An amazing beer garden with some great beer options! It's in very small area we found just when passing by ! But best decision to go and grab some beers ! The pretzel is a must try I have never had a softer pretzel before! Also the staff is really good and welcoming Would recommend making reservations for bigger parties or even if you know the time you planning to go !

Great place, worth a visit. I really loved the chicken wings, perfectly good a little extra salt but goes well with the ranch dip. The fish tacos were pretty decent, although the fish was bland but went well overalll. Perfecly well cooked churros, the chocolate dip was little runny but tasted awsome. The service was a little delayed due to pandemic, wasnt very satisfied but overall good experience. Loved the unexpected fireworks.

We came from Martinsburg, WV for my mother-in-law's retirement party. At first, we were very perturbed by the insane traffic and parking situation. This was definitely not like the breweries we're used to 😅 (aka full farms with tons of acreage and parking in the country). The staff were excellent, however, and recommended delicious IPAs to us. The Third Party was out of the park! Subtle flavors that pop in your mouth. LOVE the spicy sweet 😋 We had an amazing time! We'll be sure to visit again when traffic might be less hectic. We'll also bring our pup! He loves breweries too for the social aspect. 😉

Denizens is an awesome neighborhood spot. The outdoor beer garden is bustling. Folks bring their dogs out. Kids are enjoying some Cornhole. Nice diverse crowd of beer drinkers. Their beer is great too. I'm partial to the Chi Chi. I highly recommend this place if you like a nice relaxing atmosphere and a good beer.

First, I love they were checking the vaccine cards. Safety first. When we went in, we were greeted by everyone. It gave me Cheers vibes, but that was cool. The host recommended the fried pickles… great call. We loved them. The jerked wings were ok, but the star (with regards to food) was the fried pickles. I had the Animal IPA. It liked it. It was very good. We sat inside as it was cold outside, but I look forro going back in the spring or summer.

It's a solid spot with great food and brews.. I'm a stout fan myself...during the warmer months it's a nice outdoor area with TVs. Very open space for socializing and a good time with friends.. food is very good as well.. the parmesan truffle fries along with the dry rub wings..dope combination...I don't know why I won't give it 5 🌟.... I'll think about it.. right now just 4

Good beer, diverse selection and nice outdoor seating area. Parking is a street over. Visited and tried a few beers and took a few packs to go. Seating was easy since it was early and service was polite and prompt. Tried the triple cheese crab dip, spinach salad and blackened chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good, seasoned nicely and ciabatta bread was soft. The salad came with plenty of spinach and a good dressing. The triple cheese crab dip had the cheese, small serving and almost no crab. The beer is worth returning for.

Steak house

Chophouse restaurant
ChopHouse & Brewery, located in Washington's lively Penn Quarter neighborhood, offers a bustling sports bar setting where you can enjoy craft beer and ale brewed on-site alongside classic steak dishes and sides. Despite its touristy location, the slow-roasted Black Angus prime rib with rosemary au jus and horseradish cream sets this restaurant apart.
I was in town for a conference and stopped in while walking and seeing the cherry blossoms. What a find! I had their Prime Rib sandwich with a French Onion soup cup side. Amazing flavor for both and service was amazing. The atmosphere was elegant but very comfortable. The prices were DC norm, and the quality of the food here puts it head and shoulders over "DC Norm". All of my fellow lunch-goers were commenting on the quality of their various meals as well, and we all enjoyed the same excellent service. Check out the space downstairs for your next small gathering! Highly recommended!!

Great place to stop in and grab some food. It's fancy enough for an important date but casual enough to walk in. The food is very good, and I definitely recommended the steak. It can get a little pricey with the better cuts of meat, but the sandwiches are delicious if you are on a budget. With the steaks, probably 80$ a person and around 40-50$ otherwise(without drinks). All the food is in a house made besides the ice cream, the french onion soup is a must. The waitstaff was very nice and helpful. The building and decore are awesome. Definitely would go to it again.

We were visiting from out of town and my boyfriend got us a reservation here. The staff were super friendly and really went above and beyond. The food was pretty good. They start you with cornbread and it was tasty. We ordered the onion ring appetizer and they were fantastic, unfortunately they were taken away before we could finish them. We ordered the veranda and the A&M’s cocktails. Both were very tasty and I would definitely recommend the veranda! My boyfriend ordered a steak with cheddar mashed potatoes and enjoyed both. The mashed potatoes didn’t have a cheddar taste to them though. I ordered the crab cakes and fries and I would not recommend them. The crab cakes were super mushy and Luke warm at best. The fries were pretty good. For dessert we got the B-52 and we both enjoyed it. Over all I would say for the price the food should be better. The staff are, in my opinion, the best part of this place.

My husband and I came here for our Valentine’s Day dinner and we were pleasantly surprised! The food here is so delicious! I can’t believe I never stopped in this restaurant before! The spinach dip was amazing! Like we were (shamefully) scraping the plate 😂😂🤦🏾‍♀️ The steaks, equally delicious and cooked perfectly! It was extremely busy, but our waiter remained attentive and served us pretty quickly considering how crazy it was. I’m definitely coming back to this restaurant for dinner again. Very, very good!

The food was amazing ! My prime rib was cooked perfect! Great selection of red and white wines. Service was good as well as the interior of the establishment. Food was fairly priced and we were able to dress casual which was a plus because after dinner we had tickets to the game which has given this restaurant a notable highlight it is half a block from the Capital One Arena! There is a parking garage right around the corner as well, this establishment was very convenient to what we had going on that day.

As you walk into this New York inspired steak restaurant you immediately fall in love with it's antiquated decor. Three floors and thick pillars dominate the enternace where you are greated by the friendly staff. The food was delicious and I highly recommend you try the appetizers to include the calamari and jumbo shrimp. The cornbread was also delicious and left us extremely satisfied.

The staff was very very very nice. The ones we had conversation with, had a great sense of humor and they were knowledgeable in the dishes. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Dacha Beer Garden in Shaw is an outdoor beer garden that offers a year-round experience with picnic tables and a relaxed atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for those who prefer outdoor dining, offering comfort food like burgers, brisket sandwiches, and fried chicken alongside a variety of German and American craft beers on tap. The new QR-code-based ordering system allows for efficient service with fewer staff members.
We went for a brunch today and was happily surprised with $5 happy hour mimosas and bloody Marie’s. Really good drinks. For food ordered brisket Benny and avocado toast and it was than we hoped for 😁 Our server was very friendly and made sure we had a great experience.

Show up with a large group and Dacha turned out to be the perfect fit. We were well taken care of by the staff and servers. Great attention to our multi generational crowd. Service was excellent and food came surprisingly quickly. And food was tasty and creative. Beer selection was great and unique. I will definitely return.
Matthew E — Google review
I recently visited Dacha in Shaw, and while I’ve always appreciated its vibrant atmosphere and great drink selection, my latest experience left me disappointed, particularly with the food quality. Let's start with the positives: the drinks are still adequate. The cocktails are decent and the imported beer selection is expansive, making it a great spot for day drinking or night out. However, when it comes to the food, it feels like the kitchen was having an off day on April 13, 2025. Unfortunately, the dishes we ordered fell flat. The eggs in the Benedict were overcooked; I was looking forward to that perfect runny yolk, but instead, I got a dry, under-seasoned rock. The potato pancakes, serving as the base of the Benedict, were dense and tough. Overall the dish was a letdown, especially as it is a standard brunch item. The ahi tuna bowl was under seasoned and the tuna had a mild fishy taste. Not what you would expect from fresh ahi. The fried pickles were another disappointment—hard and lacking in seasoning. The watermelon feta salad was a struggle to enjoy. The watermelon was overripe and mushy, with hardly any feta to be found. The only exception to the underwhelming food was the pretzel, which was, thankfully, soft and salted well. If you're just looking for a drink and a light snack, the pretzel is a solid choice. In summary, while Dacha has great atmosphere, I can't recommend it for a full meal. I hope they can return to the quality I once loved.

Our server/bartender, Dylan, was top notch from the moment we sat down. Every aspect of our meals were great. The beers and house made root beer topped it all off. Not a single thing we didn’t enjoy about this place.

Exceeded my expectations. Being vegan, I am often underwhelmed by the options available at most restaurants. Even though they don't have many, what they do offer is exceptional. The Moileel is one of the best curries I have had in the metro area at any restaurant. The Three Grains salad is also very good. Then there is the gift shop. A really nice variety of items and would be worth a stop independent of the restaurant. Surprisingly not crowded for Mother's Day.

Casual neighborhood restaurant attached to a super cool general store with an assortment of nice gifts, tchotchkes, toys, and wine. The restaurant/brewery was large with two levels. We were seated on the upper level and there was a single bartender that had a full bar and all of the tables in the upstairs dining room. We waited for an extended period of time for the bartender to come over to take our order. We noticed that the other guests in the upstairs dining area also had to wait for service as the bartender was busy with the guests at the bar. There definitely needed to be one more server or bartender up there! Luckily the food was fantastic.

I've ordered to-go from here 3x before. I finally got the chance to sit in and the service and food was good. I love that everyone in the art district raves about this place. It's like a staple. The burgers are good and the crab pretzel has an oniony taste but surprisingly, I liked it.

They have some unique menu options here that are going to make me come back here! I had the oui oui burger with collard greens. It was delicious! The collards were a little salty but still good. I really liked the location itself and def will come back to try the outdoor seating. Service decent as well.

Hopefully, the owners read this before they blow a really good reputation. Bratwurst was great. The pretzels were pretty darned good. The service was fantastic. The ice cream at the end nearly ruined the whole experience. Five of us got it, each with a different flavor, and none of us liked it. My butter pecan tasted like eating a frozen cup of half and half with a few small bits of nuts sprinkled in. No flavor other than cream. The texture was off and the flavor was missing. The ice cream shop in the store is new and someone needs to learn a little bit about ice cream making because the rest of the experience was too good to cap it off with a negative asterisk.

Live music bar
Nestled on Rhode Island Avenue in Langdon, The Public Option is a charming brewpub that embodies the spirit of community and craft beer. This unpretentious spot offers a rotating selection of eight house-brewed beers, ensuring there's something for everyone—from rich dark ales to lighter options and even experimental brews. Although it’s currently closed for renovations as of August 2024, this cozy brewery has made its mark as one of the coolest spots in the city.
Last night was my first night living in the neighborhood, and I happened to walk by and walk into this place. I'm so grateful that I did. This is the kind of place that makes me hesitate to give it the great rating it deserves, because I'm afraid of it getting too busy and changing. But man, does it deserve it. You cannot find new places this genuine. Bill (the brewer and DC born-and-raised) and his wife Kathy run an amazing little place that is as genuine as it gets, with spectacular beer (loved the Cream Ale best of what I had, but the Porter and the Rye IPA were both delicious as well), locally-distilled liquor and delicious veggie dogs (I tried the jerk plantain and the spicy eggplant/mushroom and I want more, but there's a Buffalo cauliflower still to try). Upstairs there was exceptional live music, but I didn't have the time to commit to it. It's only open Fridays and Saturdays, but it's so worth it if you like value, excellence and authenticity. It's even better if you're in the neighborhood, because the clientele is mostly local and very friendly.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The beer is the best in town, the owners are amazing, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the music venue upstairs is great. If you get a chance to stop in for a beverage and a show, you won't be disappointed. D.C. isn't exactly a hotbed for good beer despite the number of breweries, but this place is an exception. Although limited in quantity, they certainly exceed others in quality. They have food available some nights from a pop-up kitchen in the back, and the space upstairs is very inviting and laid back.
James G — Google review
I came here for an event. Even though I was early the two owners upfront were very hospitable. Got me drinks very quickly. They did not have their own food there but had @chefces on Instagram serving her food there. It was amazing. Atmosphere for the event was great as well. First open nice of the year. Great place. They do tours as well.
Isaiah G — Google review
Nice relaxed vibe. The people are friendly. They serve local brews, as well as mixed drinks. They have board games, an upstairs with a dartboard (and sometimes a DJ), and a little area by the kitchen for a more quiet time. This place is worth a visit if you're looking for an unpretentious, friendly environment.
David S — Google review
A cozy, unpretentious bar with excellent beer. From the outside the place looks abandoned. Inside, the decor reminded me of my grandmother's breakfast nook. Not exactly what one looks for in a bar... but the staff and clientele where relaxed and the beer was tasty. Fantastic beer bar! Tons of choices, including many rare hazies from the Northeast. Little bit pricey but hard to beat the vibe and selection. Servers have always been very nice. Food is good as well- really enjoyed the shrimp and grits.

They always have the most amazing beer, excellent service and great atmosphere! If you get a ton of tastes you can try a lot of the menu while not sending too much. Drinks are really well priced for DC and the food is so good.

This is definitely a must visit place for any beer enthusiasts. They have a very extensive list of lots of different styles of beer. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Some of their prices seemed high, but usually on great beer options. I was actually hoping they would have had the best list in the area, but unfortunately “The SOVEREIGN” won that battle. The atmosphere was kinda gloomy. I called and asked if it was kid friendly, I was told yes upon arrival I was met with a lot of stairs in a dark section making it annoying with the stroller. Overall if you love beer definitely come check this place out.

Excellent beer bar - large tap list with a wide range of styles and breweries from across the nation and world (in addition to local selections). They also have an extensive bottle list and some to-go bottle options.

Kara is a FANTASTIC bartender. Very attentive, friendly, personable, and makes a killer drink!! Lemon drop martini, espresso martini, IPAs du jour… even dulled the Boston accent so common folk can understand her. Highly recommend. The environment is great. Lively yet still able to relax and converse.

Nice atmosphere with a great selection of beer! Had very unique bottles also. Andy was friendly and very helpful with suggesting beers.

We hosted our wedding weekend welcome party at ChurchKey, and we’re so glad we did. Victoria and her team were communicative throughout the process of determining our space and the menu. And during the event, the staff was great. The space was great for our event, the food was delicious, and no one had to wait long at the bar for a drink. We got so many compliments from our guests. We would definitely recommend hosting an event at ChurchKey.

Believe the hype. An exceptional beer bar, by any measure. They know their stuff here, and offer up a superb selection. Even some wonderful cask beers! (A rarity in the US, but an excellent condition to drink beer in.) Watch out you don't walk past it though. It's upstairs and easy to miss.

Nestled in the vibrant Columbia Heights neighborhood, Meridian Pint is a modern-rustic bar that has become a beloved destination for craft beer enthusiasts. With an impressive selection of 24 rotating drafts and over 60 bottled beers sourced from innovative American microbreweries, this establishment truly celebrates the art of brewing. The atmosphere is casual yet lively, featuring ample window seating perfect for people-watching and a cozy downstairs beer cellar ideal for trivia nights or larger gatherings.
So happy to welcome this place to the neighborhood! The service the food and the drinks were all outstanding. We had a short wait for a table on a busy Saturday night and the place was jammed with neighbors and locals. We had wine which you wouldn’t expect a good wine list from a place focused on beer but in fact they have a very good wine list. Started off with the fried oysters and the brussels sprouts as appetizers and they were both fantastic everyone literally at every table around us was also eating brussels sprouts and raving about them there trust me they’re good. We then had burgers for dinner which were well done if it’s smaller than I expected but quite frankly that’s fine because in this day and age of gigantic serving sizes sometimes you just don’t want to gigantic burger. Again service was outstanding the whole time and does everything we had was very well-made and presented. Will definitely return here again to enjoy the local atmosphere and the great food and maybe even next time bring the kids.

Meridian Pint had been one of the best destination craft beer bars and creative kitchens for American pub grub in DC when it was in its longtime Petworth location. Their nachos -- especially their pulled pork nachos -- were reason enough to go. Their friendly bartenders knew everything about their wide beer selection in two huge bar areas, including a downstairs that had seating perfect for gathering in groups for a game. Much like the circle of life -- this hip kid from Pentworth, grew up, moved to the burbs, and became completely boring. The chorizo nachos were dry and overpowered by either parmesan or a weird feta, no longer made with love. The burger of my neighbor at the cramped bar was more bread than burger. Gone were the beer experts of yore tending the bar, replaced by indifferent barstaff focusing more on each other in the cramped space. Still a great beer selection of about two dozen unique brews on draft brings this up to two stars. Not metro accessible but abundant parking for those with wheels; about a $10-20 Uber from the city for those without.

I used to love the one in DC because they had a killer brunch and excellent beer list. This new location in Arlington was not that busy even tho I stopped by around noon on a Saturday. No wait as there were plenty of open tables, I guess the locals haven't figured out what they are missing yet. The staff didn't seem to know the menu that well but they were friendly. They still have a solid beer list tho I think Dominion W&B restaurant still has the best one in NoVA. Anyways, the pecan encrusted bacon with caramel was pretty good with a solid bba stout (Big Baptista from Epic).

Casual atmosphere, delicious hamburgers in different ways, good ingredients, drafts beers and professional service: an optimal combination for successful evenings, by fair prices and without a reservation.

I went to Meridian Pint for a sunday early dinner meet up with my friend. We had the honey bourbon barbecue wings as a appetizer. To drink we each had something that suited us. I had a burbon, cider, cayenne pepper drink and the name escapes me currently but I didn't think it was going to be as spicy as it was. As my second drink I tried just the cider and that was great. After trying my friends pomegranate drink I absolutely would try it next time I come. So back to the wings they were amazing. the sauce was just the right amount of sweet and tangy and next time I will get those and their amazing fries as my entree. I tried the burger per suggestion. I made my own breakfast burger and it was good, not the best I've had but good. My friend had the burger that started with a b ( brusion burger maybe?) She raves about that burger so I can only assume it was amazing. I will try again but I'm pretty sure I have planned out my plates in advance.

Went out with my parents and little brother. We got our drinks took at least 20 minutes and were barely cold. We were near a waiter station and got hit with water. Took a long time to take our orders. I ordered the blue crab ravioli and while it tasted delicious, it just came with 4 raviolis. Thought maybe for $20 that I would get at least 6 and possibly 8 of them at most. That's a really big plate for just 4 raviolis. The bill had to be redone; 3 times. At least the manager took the 1st round of drinks off the bill. Won't be coming back here for awhile.

If you love beers and live in Columbia Heights, this is your place. 24 rotating beers, and probably the most delicious BBQ pork sandwich in CH, should be enough. Go, and don't forget to take a look downstairs. There is a pool table waiting for you.

Nestled in the vibrant Penn Quarter of Washington, City Tap House is an elevated gastropub that beautifully marries rustic charm with a modern twist. With its high ceilings and reclaimed wood accents, this spacious venue offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying New American cuisine alongside an impressive selection of over 40 craft beers on tap.
Generous portions of good food, reasonable prices, attentive service. Lots of choices on the menu. My friend opted for the Sesame-Apple Crunch Salad ($16.50) while I enjoyed the City Tap Cubano with Fries ($18.75). A neighborhood pub atmosphere in downtown DC.

City tap is pleasing aesthetically when you walk in. First and foremost the fact that there is no “server” taking orders is interesting to me. When asked about why there is no server, it was explained the manager changed the process to an application based only order system. There is no way to ask questions about the menu nor is there anyway to make any adjustments. No one came by to offer additional water after we were eating our food and the woman at the bar appeared to have an attitude asking for more. We ordered a frozen strawberry daiquiri, however, just brought out on the rocks because the blender was broken and was only explained after the fact. I’m not entirely sure what was going on in the kitchen. Sadly—across the board there was no flavor in the food we ordered. The mussels and carne asada tacos did not have much flavor which was a disappointment. About 5 mussels didn’t have any meat in them nor were they in the bowl. However two things that were enjoyed were the avocado for the tacos and the ribeye was delicious with the gravy. Lastly, the fact that the check automatically tried to include a 22% tip for the service that didn’t exist is outrageous. Will not return.

Management rest on location and not service. Here for a business lunch with an international group and locals. We sat in a section behind the bar. Several members of our party wanted ice tea. The server informed us that we had to order it from the bar. We waited several minutes (it was very very busy). Realizing that the bartenders were slammed and unlikely to look behind them, I ventured down to the front to let them know. A server, think black girl with long hair, at the bottom of the steps forcibly told me I MUST order from the back of the bar. I told her that I knew the bartenders were busy and just wanted them to know. She proceeded to be incredibly rude. I did go to the front and the bartenders were very gracious and polite. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager came over to speak with one of the group leaders about an issue. You could tell he was already flustered. I managed to get his attention when done and explained the situation. He got angry with me and explicitly and contemptuously stated "I look forward to your review!". I tried telling him that i would want to know if one of my employees was rude to someone. He didn't care. As you can see from my reviews, I am rarely very negative. And I realize that this restaurant has a large out of town patronage (by the convention center). But I do believe that Management should be more customer focused and that people who are considering a place understand the venues they are considering. Management should be trained to diffuse a situation, not piss off customers to the point where they take time out of their schedule to write a nageative review. Tip: stay away from that server Tip 2: if there is an issue, do not expect the day manager to care. Tip 3: visit as a last resort

It's a Tap my fellow Americans, keep that in mind when reading the reviews. Now to the review. You will be greeted at the door, moved to your table, and asked to scan a QR code for service. This is odd to is 1980s / 1990s kids. If you have questions about the beer or drinks, you'll have to the bar tender, who will know. The food was good and fast to the table. In the app you will have to add your credit card data but it allows for quick food and drink turn around. (It does request a tip, up to you and your conscience). Other than great food, and different service, I'd say this is a great "bro" place for bullshiting and having a few. (Beer was amazing)

Got it — here’s a version tailored for the City Tap House 9th Street DC location: I stopped by the 9th Street City Tap House Penn Quarter and tried the meatballs along with the NFL loaded pretzels. Both were excellent — hearty, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. The atmosphere feels like an old tavern blended with a modern sports bar, and it’s backed up with streamlined ordering and delivery that makes the whole experience smooth. The staff at this location were outstanding: friendly, fast, and attentive without hovering. Even with a busy game-day crowd, everything ran seamlessly, and the food came out fresh and hot. If you’re in DC and want a spot with great food, top-notch service, and a lively sports vibe, the 9th Street City Tap is an awesome place!

Yooo this food was amazing!!! Nachos are freaking to die for will get again. The beef dip Guinness was really good but my boyfriend liked it more. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was amazingggg!! Both sours were great too and they had good desserts and flights. This was their after dinner bites as we came late but wowww even that menu was heavenly. Reasonably priced with lots of really nice elevated bar food options. They do have tvs for whatever game is on and an area with music

City Tap House Penn Quarter is a great spot if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere and a solid selection of craft beers. The space is roomy and perfect for groups or casual hangouts. I enjoyed trying a few beers from their extensive menu, and the bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. The food was tasty— I had the burger and fries, which hit the spot, though nothing super fancy. Service was generally good, though things did slow down a bit during peak hours. The noise level can get pretty high, so it’s better for catching up with friends rather than an intimate conversation. Overall, it’s a reliable choice for good drinks, decent food, and a fun vibe in Penn Quarter. I’d definitely come back for happy hour or casual nights out!

Jack Rose Dining Saloon is a top-notch bar in Washington, DC that boasts an extensive collection of over 2,700 bottles of whiskey. The ambiance is reminiscent of a sophisticated library with leather seats and ladders to reach the highest bottles. Whether you're a whiskey connoisseur or just looking for a great drink, this place has something for everyone.
“Jack Rose Dining Saloon is a true gem for food and whiskey lovers alike.” The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between upscale and cozy, with a stunning wall of rare whiskies and a warm, inviting dining space. The food is exceptional—creative yet comforting. The bone marrow, duck breast, and bourbon bread pudding were all standouts. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Service was professional and knowledgeable, especially when it came to whiskey recommendations. The staff made the experience smooth and memorable. Whether you’re a whiskey enthusiast or just after a memorable dinner in D.C., Jack Rose delivers on every level.

Jack Rose Dining Saloon is such a cool spot for whiskey lovers and anyone who enjoys a cozy, rustic atmosphere. The selection of whiskeys is seriously impressive—there’s something for everyone, from beginners to connoisseurs. I loved how the bartenders took the time to recommend drinks based on my taste preferences. The food pairs really well with the drinks. I tried the pretzel with beer cheese dip and the pork belly—both were delicious and perfectly seasoned. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with beautiful wood accents and a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to settle in for the evening. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, though it got a bit busy, so things moved a little slower than usual. Overall, Jack Rose is a fantastic spot for a night out with friends or a casual date. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their extensive whiskey menu!

This isn’t just another overpriced New American restaurant! I didn’t come for the whisky selection per se, but the seasonal cocktail I got was one of my favorite cocktails ever. It was a pumpkin infused whisky drink that was incredibly spirit forward and not too sweet in any way. I also got one of the single barrel cocktails. The deviled eggs, tartare, and Mac and cheese balls were all wonderful appetizers. I got the pork chop as my main which might have been my favorite pork chop ever. My two friends really enjoyed their crab cakes, although they are small so maybe don’t order if you’re very hungry. The flash fried Brussels were great too!! Katie and Michael were both fantastic servers!

My boyfriend and I traveled to DC for Jack Roses extensive bourbon selection for his birthday. We had an awesome time. The food was amazing. The selection of bourbon was great. The best part about it was the bartenders. They are incredibly knowledgeable and really go out of their way to make sure you’re having the experience you want.

I LOVE a whiskey bar vibe! I had really high hopes for this place - a pdf of 82 pages detailing all their whiskey??? Yes please!! We're my expectations too high? Maybe. My drink was good - an interesting experience but not something I'd ever order again. But the biggest reason I'm rating low was the noise! It was so loud in there! Not quite the whiskey bar vibes I was expecting when this place was recommended.

A must for whisk(e)y lovers visiting DC. This is the Library of Congress for whisky. Exceptional selection and friendly staff make this a fun place to try out new drams. We found a table on a Thursday evening! You can spend as much as you want here because they have it all, including normally unobtainable whiskies that aren't widely available as bottles. (Over two visits we tried Springbank Amontillado Cask & Local Barley, Cadenheads Campbeltown Enigma, plus Dailuane and Ledaig Independent Bottlings.) But you can enjoy without breaking the bank by looking at their $10 drams. The bartenders have good knowledge of their library - set your price and state your preference for a recommendation or check out their zillion-page menu, which includes scotch, bourbon, rye, and world whisk(e)y from Ireland, Wales, England, India, and the USA. SMWS (Scotch Malt Whisky Society) members will find a selecting of their bottlings here. Don't be put off by the offer of ice, you can get a water dropper but you have to ask. More in the way of education could be offered here. It might require more staff but it might be fun for many patrons to have a built-in learning experience (maybe online guides to types, regions, and flavors).

If you love whiskey, you have to go to Jack Rose when you're in DC. Amazing selection, and beautiful bar! I had to try the house single barrel flight, and it was delicious. Barrel is a charming whiskey lounge in Capitol Hill that offers a cozy atmosphere and a menu of Southern small plates. The place has received praise for its properly prepared biscuits, fried chicken, and modern twists on classic Southern dishes. With four locations, including one in Sioux Falls, this enduring chain is known for its meat-focused menu featuring steak variations and smothered chicken options.
Nestled in a cozy neighborhood. The drink menu was extensive and I got a chance to try some bourbons I had not had before. Bottomless Mimosas were good and came with a ginger/lime syrup in addition to the normal orange and cranberry juice. Omelette was light and fluffy. Even the toast was good. I didn't order waffles but the table next to me had them and they smelled heavenly. Be sure to ask for Conner. He was an excellent server. Very knowledgeable and really took time with our group. I recommend highly.

Decided to try this after a work dinner. The bar has a great atmosphere for the bourbon scene. Quite a selection with a menu almost too big to review it all. The bartender was very knowledgeable and explained our options well. We asked for suggestions and he didn’t lead us astray. Seemed reasonably priced for the market and based on bottle prices. Worth a stop for sure!!! **didn’t try any food

We hosted a private whiskey tasting at barrel this past weekend to celebrate a birthday and it was a phenomenal experience. Matt was so easy to work with in planning a great experience from start to finish - securing a date, planning the slate of whiskeys to taste, bringing in some special bottles for us to sample and helping with private dinner in the basement to follow. The downstairs bar has a great vibe and is super private. Matt also is super knowledgeable and started the tasting with an overview on how whiskey is made, the difference between bourbon, rye, whiskey and scotch and reviewing the specific bottles we sampled. Great option for a small private party to celebrate a special occasion!

Went here for brunch. The food was so good! Got the honey butter chicken biscuit and that honey butter was delicious. Also did the brunch fried rice which was good and well seasoned. The bottomless deal is good where it is $28 per person and they leave a champagne bottle and juice at the table so you can make your own. Service was great as well as they were super attentive.

This experience was great! While the food was below my expectations, our server was Connor and his aura made our experience that much better. He was very polite, professional and simply a great spirit to have during your dining experience. He suggested that we come back during a Sunday brunch and looking at the brunch menu I will definitely give it a try- the food looks amazingly delicious.

We visited because we were looking for a good spot to get cocktails and whiskey. They did not disappoint. I don't know how many whiskeys they have officially, but they have enough of them that they had to list them in their "Bourbon Bible." We tried the Nachos, crab Rangoon, and the Barrell Burger and enjoyed all of them. The nachos were delicious with shredded pork on top. The cocktails were a highlight. I found several great whiskey pours at reasonable prices (understand it's never cheap to drink bourbon out), and my wife and daughter loved their cocktails they ordered. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is cool and rustic, and the whole vibe makes it a place worth trying. I hope to come back before our trip is over.

Really enjoyed this place. Perfect place to end our father / son trip from the west coast on my birthday. The atmosphere, food, drinks and service were great. Had the chicken thighs, a brat and corn watermelon salad along with a couple of their really good beers. Our server, Ryan, was very knowledgeable and friendly and took really great care of us. Solid establishment. Beers are nothing crazy, but get the job done. Recommend the pilsner. The food on the other hand was delicious. Crispy chicken thighs and pretzel were some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Ordered the Bavaria Dog as well. Can’t beat that combo of flavors. Placed was packed for a Nationals game but food and drinks came out quick. If you’re in the area for a game check this place out!

Great vibes. Food is always delicious, though I highly suggest you order from the bartender versus using their online ordering system as it only works about 50% of the time. They have a great selection of beer. There are plenty of tvs for catching a game. Indoor outdoor seating. It can get rather crowded during sports events but I’ve always found standing room or a table.

Not my usual stomping grounds, but I made my way to Solace Outpost in Navy Yard for a networking Happy Hour. The atmosphere was lively, and the drink selection didn’t disappoint — plenty of craft beers and other creative libations to choose from. I didn’t get a chance to try the food myself, but everything coming out of the kitchen for my colleagues looked seriously good. I’ll definitely be back to explore the menu.

Just had beer on a random overcast spring Tuesday evening. The pilsner and red were both good. Food looked and smelled amazing based on nearby patrons. View and patio seemed like they'd be nice on a clearer day. No stickers, though, or even coasters. Will have to hit a non-outpost spot to find those?

Steps from frist base entrance to Nats Park. A great place to hang out before a ballgame. Its a big building so its much less crowded than all of the spots outside the center field entrance. The burger was smaller than I expected, but tasted great. Tots were cooked perfectly, nice and crispy on the outside while fluffy on the inside. They have a great selection of their own beer.

Great spot to come if you're looking for live sports, a cold beer, and quality food. Definitely a touch on the pricy side - as most things are in DC - but their burger is top notch & the beer selection is great. If you're a DC-based Manchester United fan, definitely add to your list to watch a game here. Local supporters pack the bar out and it's always loud and boisterous, if you're into that kind of game-day atmosphere.

Overall a good recommend for anyone looking for a quick bite to eat or meeting place for activities around the Nats Ball Park. Had some greasy spoon style dishes that helped stay full for the Nats game. I especially enjoyed burger and condiments. Portions were large and value present. The staff were efficient and the order through QR code takes the warmth out of the experience. Was there for a pre game stop anyway. Atmosphere is busy and quick. Plenty of room for people to find space. It felt like a decent place for a casual gathering or meet up.

Seems like a pretty chill place to be at any day of the week. We went on Monday and they had trivia night. Lots of people! Looks like they has several areas to get drinks, so that's convenient. I did see a bunch of reserved signs. Not sure if you need to reserve setting areas, but if so that's dumb, unless it was there for something special 🤔. Lots of plants shade for a nice summer day to feel like you're not in the city. Bathrooms aren't very good. It's like a portable unit. Not sure if that's permanent or what? Other that all that I'd go back if it's convenient but wouldn't bother going outta my way. Prices seem normal/ high for a place like this. I still think DC is over priced for local spots.

Been here a few times over the years. The food truck is great (it is a separate business operated within the brewery) and they have a solid beer selection. It’s setup like couple of circus tents, one days it’s there, next day it might not. Definitely unique. Atmosphere is great. Looks very beautiful once the sun sets. Happy hours and sun downers are very much possible. They have separated the sections nicely so you do get the privacy and do not feel the crowd if it’s busy. You might get some mosquito bites later in the night so make sure you dress accordingly. They check everyone's ID so have that ready. Staff is very friendly. Drink selection is limited-regular off the mill list and they do have small bites of you feel hungry. Prices are decent. There’s paid parking lot on back side where you can park, street parking is also available. Overall a good laid back hangout spot for friends.

I liked coming here overall, but I did have some thoughts. The grounds need a bit of updating: fresh turf, better furniture, more modern atmosphere. Aside from that there was great live music, you can park for free in the back on the weekends, and they are dog friendly. Which is very important for fur parents that want to take their dogs out. If you come Sunday afternoon you get a free pup cup with any purchase as apart of their "Yappy Hour".

Brookland Pint is a rustic restaurant located near the Brookland-CUA metro station, offering American/Southern cuisine and an extensive craft beer selection. The ambiance features reclaimed-wood decor with convenient USB plugs. Guests rave about the sweet potato fries and authentic pimento cheese. The menu includes vegetarian and gluten-free options, such as the beyond burger with bacon, caramelized onions, and jalapenos. Visitors also praise the attentive service from staff members like Matteo and manager Asher.
We came on a Wednesday evening and this place was packed! It was a trivia game night and we loved it! We got seated very quickly and our server was extremely friendly. Nice beers on taps and drinks were pretty decent. Ordered a nachos and chicken sandwich. Both tasted decent and portion are pretty large
Steven N — Google review
For those still feeling the need to leave reviews after pint’s doors have shut, I’d like to offer a different perspective. In an age where online criticism gives the vengeful guest far too much power, I’d like to remember what this place really was. Here’s to Brookland Pint, my second home. To me and to many others, this place was not just a restaurant, but a safe haven. A heartbeat in the neighborhood, a warm light spilling out onto Monroe Street, drawing in people from every walk of life. I got to watch lives unfold here, year after year.. I got to serve a couple on their very first date and later pour their celebratory shots on the night of their engagement. I learned the standing order of the parents whose newborn was in the hospital down the street. I poured beer for the man who had just lost his wife, and I got to offer a quiet space to those who simply needed somewhere to sit and not be alone. I got to celebrate birthdays, graduations, baby showers, new jobs, and all the little milestones that deserved a cheer. And I shared in the heartbreaks too..stories of loss, divorce, and loneliness told across the bar with the kind of trust only a stranger can sometimes hold. I also got to meet people I never would have otherwise! Neighbors, students, professors, artists, families, even celebrities(!)all of whom somehow found common ground in a pint glass or a shared meal. Many of them I now get to call family. Of course, it wasn’t always smooth. The inevitable angry crowds when the wait was too long, taps that kicked in the middle of a pour, and guests who forgot that the people serving them were human too. There were nights of exhaustion, sticky floors, and jokes traded in the service alley just to keep each other going. And when something (inevitably) went wrong, we’d laugh and shrug and also joke about well.. Pint! Brookland Pint was never about perfection, it was about people. About a small staff who poured their hearts into this place, about regulars who claimed their favorite seats, about strangers who walked in alone and left feeling just a little less lonely. That’s the beauty of a small business: it doesn’t run on efficiency, but on love, chaos, and the fragile, extraordinary work of creating a space where anyone could belong. So many lives passed through those doors, leaving pieces of themselves behind, taking pieces of us with them. Though the lights are out now and the barstools empty, its spirit lingers..in memory, in community, in every story told over a pint. And if people cannot appreciate places like Pint because they expect them to run like a Cheesecake Factory or some polished corporate chain, then one day we’ll only be left with restaurants where you order through a screen bolted to the table. So slow down. Take your dining experiences a little less seriously. Be kind to the people serving you. Notice the imperfections and love them for what they are. Appreciate your surroundings, the people across from you, and the humanity happening all around. Lastly, a reminder to thank your local bar for quietly holding so much of your joy, your grief, and your lives together.

Great lunch here today, we enjoyed everything from the food, drinks, to the service. Definitely try their nachos, their cheese sauce is other worldly good. The have a nice balance of pico and jalapenos on that thang. I had the beyond burger with bacon (yes, I know), caramelized onions, and jalapenos (and it comes with lettuce and tomato). It was done really well. Fries were perfect and the pint mixed greens salad is great, and you can throw a falafel on that thang. My friend had the meatball sub which he enjoyed with his beer. I had a bloody Mary and their house mix is solid. Layla our server did a great job, super friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Sorry to rub salt into the wound. Prime location on the walk to the red line, classy physical plant, nice patio for dining & socializing. Right next to a busy private college. Just poor execution. I’m local, like to dine out, enjoy a cocktail in the evening, especially getting off the train. Several attempts on my part during your tenure were disappointing. Attitude flows down from the top. Sorry you didn’t have time to step up your game. I hope a new tenant someday realizes the potential of this site.

List of tap beers are interesting, the food portions are pretty big for us. Cobb salad is freshly prepared and tasty while chicken sandwiches is too saucy. Service was okay. Nice to give them a try
Tune A — Google review
To say this was a disappointing experience is an understatement. We ordered via Uber Eats and my partner ordered a salad that was supposed to come with salmon. The salad came with no salmon, but his salad was semi decent. I ordered what was supposed to be a bowl with half rice/half lettuce, crispy Brussels sprouts, and chopped broccolini with pecorino, topped with falafel. As you can see from the attached photos it was very far from this. It was literally an assault of lettuce with tomatoes and carrots. No Brussels sprouts, no broccolini, and few grains of rice. So I decided to make this work by picking out the few grains of rice, the falafel and some of the lettuce with the pecorino and add some balsamic vinaigrette I had in my refrigerator for some taste. As I bit into the falafel, they tasted like freezer burned Trader Joe’s falafel that were somehow wet. The few grains of rice were undercooked. I could not make it through this and had to throw the whole thing out.

I’ve walked past this place for years, and I was getting ready to walk past it again, thinking it was closed because I didn’t see anyone moving around inside right away. As I slowly walked by considering that I would go in if they were open, I saw a few people sitting inside through the window. I doubled back and entered and I am sooooo glad I did. I was seated right away and TJ, my server was beyond excellent. There is a lot to said about a person comfortable in their skin and just happy to BE. I would go back just to visit TJ, he was just that GREAT, but the food was DIVINE as well. I had made up my mind that I wanted a BURGHA, and that is exactly what I got, with every topping except egg and mushrooms. It was still bigger than my whole face and while it was a bit of a challenge to eat, I enjoyed every bit of it, even the sauce as it ran down my arm and dripped back into my plate. That’s how you know you’ve got a good BURGHA. The fries were hot and crispy and TJ kept the Shirley Temples coming at every sight of an empty glass. I barely had room for dessert, but I squeezed in a decadent Tiramisu anyway. The next time I want a BURGHA, this will be my go to place… …something tells me that it will be sooner rather than later. They’ve been at this location for 8 years, so if you haven’t stopped in yet, there is no time like the present.

What a fun place in neighborhood that has a great playful vibe. The food and drinks were delicious. The fish and chips were so good I forgot to take photos.

We got drinks on the rooftop and dinner in the dining hall one floor down. The roof would be SO much better if uncovered… the view from the dinner floor was beautiful - I love the huge windows. The vibe and atmosphere is AMAZING! The service was veryyyyy slow and the food/drinks were good but not amazing - but will 100% be back! The happy hour was solid!

This place is phenomenal! Loved the rooftop views and the drinks were really great. I came on a Thursday night with a friend and we hadn't visited before. The espresso martini was really good. We enjoyed some free comedy on the second floor which was an awesome surprise. The service was good and it had a really chill vibe. I think I'll host my wife's birthday celebration here. I only wish happy hour prices were early in the afternoon which is when I plan on having her party.

Really great vibes and food. Playlist was 🔥. We’re visiting from Arizona (though I used to live in this area but hadn’t been to this restaurant), and this place was actually recommended by ChatGPT! Great recommendation overall, for a teenager and parents. Our food was great, and the service while a bit slow was also very good. Would recommend to anyone visiting Adams Morgan.

Our group of 8 had a great time at Roofers Union. Despite our large party, we were able to get seated fairly quickly. The rooftop was closed for renovations but was expected to open the following week. Even so, the dining area has huge windows overlooking Adams Morgan which sets a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and provided quick service as well as good vibes. I had the fish and chips which were delicious and the all day happy hour was a nice surprise. Overall, good vibes, great food and friendly staff make this a place I would happily return.

The rooftop bar is a great experience. We enjoyed the cocktails and the view of Adams Morgan. The crowd here was fairly young, although there was a range of folks in their 30s and 40s. I'll be coming back with a friend.

DAILY happy hour 5 to 7 with wine, beer, cocktails, and food! Then bonus happy hour time from 7 to close with other stuff. Check out the picture of their happy hour specials I posted in this review. The food we ate for $8 was the BEST food we ate during our trip to DC. They put so much effort into such inexpensive dishes. Same goes for their cocktails! I heard they are under new management and these specials are to bring people in. So get there now before you can't get in the door.

Difficult to get the bartender's attention, but what bar isn't like that. Once my group did get our beer, we went outside and enjoyed some people watching Adam Morgans' night scene. There are only four seats and two tables, but we lucked out.

Great dive bar in the DC area. Haven't found many bars in DC that has the variety seen in my hometown of Cincy. Lots of craft beers, they don't even sell your typical domestics! The bartenders are really nice, and quite passionate about the beer they sell. They're always looking to bring in great unknown beers from outside the area. Great band while I was there too! The bottom floor is more the dive bar variety, with the second and third floors being more chill. Looking forward to hearing back there when I'm in the area again! Keep it up!
Alex S — Google review
Excellent selection of craft beers on tap. Bartender was super friendly and made great conversation. Gave it a 4 star because we were on the bottom level and it had a very dank smell. I know the building is very old, but maybe a dehumidifier in the back would help? We would return.
Marquelle A — Google review
The Black Squirrel has a great selection of beers on tap and they seem to rotate them frequently. On Thursday they have half of burgers which are pretty awesome and they offer a ton of fixings for them. The place definitely has a bar vibe but the food is surprisingly really decent. The upstairs bartenders are very friendly and engaging. I would recommend this place is you are in the neighborhood.
Eric G — Google review
Favorite go-to bar with a decent burger to boot. The real star is the beer list that is well selected and typically includes a bunch of local stuff. We also love the usual bartender. He makes good beer suggestions and is fun to talk to when it's not busy.
Kathryn A — Google review
Great spot for craft beer. Stopped in here last weekend for their Christmas beer event. The beer and food were good but the service was a bit slow. Although it wasn't super busy the bartender and bar back seemed to have trouble keeping up. When we got the check we noticed that they forgot to charge us for two beers. When we pointed this out they took one off our tab anyway. Nice touch. Despite the hiccup I'm sure we will be back.

I don't like giving 5 stars to any beer establishment. All of them can do better. But this place does a great job of bringing solid food and beer options. Definitely the best beer stop in Adams Morgan.

Fire baked pizza with a great crust in a casual environment with indoor and outdoor seating. The quattro formaggio, margarita, and garlic knots were all delicious. Also the service was attentive and the beer list extensive. We ate lunch here twice during our 5 day visit we liked it so much!

This place is really nice. It’s cool, I think it’s more for an atmosphere and location. It was not all that it was good at most. Maybe it was the pizzas are ordered, but I asked the server to pick the best 2 pizzas and split them in half. What did impress me was the customer service. We came late and the served us quick. Beautiful restaurant. Just increase the pizza size for the prices they are charging.

Came here around noon on a Friday and was greeted with superb hospitality. The garlic knots were superb as an appetizer. The pizza we each got was hot and delicious. I visited years ago for a celebration and had not been back since, it was not memorable. However, a recent day-time as soon as the doors opened visit was 1K% better. Just three of us and personal attention by our young waiter Greg(shout out) he ensured everything we requested occurred and made great suggestions! Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. This was a Monday at 11am, so big difference from the hustle of evening activities. Blackened/Cajun penne pasta w/shrimp & salmon😋

Keyshawn, our server, provided adequate service. The Cowboys burger ordered by my son was not to his liking; however, our server promptly addressed the issue. My other son's BBQ ribs and chicken platter received a rating of 3 due to the ribs being slightly overcooked, although the abundance of BBQ sauce was appreciated. The pork chop platter ordered by my partner was well-received, with the pork chops being tender and the overall meal deemed scrumptious. The rest room was a complete turn off.
Latrice K — Google review
Date night with wife for our month anniversary celebration from being married. Walking inside it seemed enjoyable. There’s plenty of televisions and a bar. There’s bull riding and music. That alone is the best part of our experience there. The food was horrible! I ordered a steak & cheese, it was dry and no flavor. As a cook I could tell it was warmed in a microwave or an oven until the cheese slightly melted on top. It was extremely small for my taste so I ordered extra meat. My wife had a shrimp and chicken Alfredo and she said immediately that it was horrible! Her exact words. It was runny and the chicken was as if it was dry and pulled. Our appetizer was nachos. It was also not good. This is a place for people whom drink and just need something on their stomachs. No flavor whatsoever. Our Lemonade was cool. Women were allowed to ride the bull with skirts on, which made me and my wife uncomfortable while we attempted to make the best of our bad experiences. We quickly asked for check not finishing our meals, and was over charged for our meals. I was charged 3 times for my steak & cheese. The waitress did it in a way most people wouldn’t have caught it. She put 2 of them together as one order than 1 separate. Like a steak & cheese cost $28 by itself and $15 for extra meat! That might work with the drunk crowd, but I was extremely pissed! After alerting the waitress she semi corrected the bill! After straightening it, we left but not before stopping by the restrooms which was filthy! Trash and toilet paper everywhere, with the smell of urine in the air. Oh what a night. We left and enjoyed ourselves better just sitting in our truck talking. I would not recommend this place to my enemy. I usually am not this harsh, but this is the exact and honest truth.
Antwane H — Google review
100% recommend! Lots of food options! $1 bull rides! Tons of tvs! Pork chops, salmon and corn! Chips and queso! 2 ft tall 3 inch thick pretzel and cheese! 1 block from Gaylord hotel and convention national harbor! Coconut shrimp and sweet potato’s fries! Sweet Chili sauce and bbq sauce for the fries! Salmon and shrimp pasta was delicious! Tons of great food options!

Overall this was not a pleasant experience. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, actually, they had great burgers. The hostess staff were good, they seemed confused about table availability, but were quick to get us seated, once it was figured out. Once seated, the service started out good, but over the course of the meal, it deteriorated drastically. We ordered an appetizer, four burgers with a side of wings, and some adult beverages. The appetizer was prompt, but there was a lag between dishes. When the burgers finally came out they were, as stated, delicious. They seemed confused as to who order what, and we just asked to give the name of each one she we could say where it went. We never received the wings. As for beverages, they were quick to run dry. My wife was asked if she wanted a refill, but I never got the opportunity, I eventually when to the bar and ordered my own drinks, separately from my meal. Which, I’d like to add, the bar staff were amazing! And the cocktails were very good. When the meal was over, the waitress seemed annoyed. When we asked to have the wings removed from the check, she stated, “you never ordered wing, at least not from me.” Which didn’t matter, so long as I wasn’t charged. Now what annoyed me the most, is the automatic 18% tip they add to the bill. It’s in the taxes portion of the bill, which I didn’t see until she ran my card. Normally I review my bill and add whatever tip based off of the subtotal, never did I think to look for an added tip, unless I’m with a large party.
Daniel E — Google review
The appetizer platter we had was a good deal and everything on it was good. Atmosphere first it took a while for the hostess to appear and a little longer to get us seated. Don't know why. The place was not that crowded. Once seated all was good.
Ben M — Google review
Good service even when it's busy. We loved the decor and the fun vibe. We sat at an indoor table near the street, but there wasn't any traffic noise. Two of us shared an appetizer platter for lunch, and still had leftovers.
Dawn C — Google review
Showed up between lunch and dinner with a large group. The wait staff are very helpful. Food is also good, but there is a limited selection (bar food really.) However the (handicap accessible) bathrooms on the first floor were either out of order or extremely filthy. The second floor bathroom was very clean, but people had to walk up the stairs. To our disappointment, the bull was out of order.

One of the best restaurants in DC! Great atmosphere, excellent service, and most importantly the food is incredible! Try to make it before for the Happy Hour ends for cheaper beer and appetizers. So I’m from Montreal and lived in Quebec City so French food is up my alley. We also love Belgian style triples as beers. Brasserie Beck is just on point. Superb food and an experience to remember from the moment we entered the restaurant. It was a birthday celebration and there were so many unique experiences. The beer menu is extensive. I had a cherry beer which was sweet but not too sweet. For appetizer, I had the beet salad. The beets melted in your mouth. I had the duck for the main course and it tasted like filet mignon with a crisp fatty edge. The wait staff was the best. We loved Amber.

We dined in late afternoon on a Wednesday after arriving in town from the airport. We unpacked our luggage at the hotel and decided to grab a quick bite nearby and then call it a day and start exploring tomorrow. We'd done our research on the nearby restaurants to our hotel on Google and Yelp prior to arriving in D.C. and Brasserie Beck was at the top of our list. We started with a dozen fresh Virginia raw oysters ($2 each for happy hour) and they were exactly what we needed! Next up a Foie Gras Creme Brulee that was different and interesting. While searching for the perfect brew the Assistant General Manager, Sarah Arnold, happened to come by and seeing our struggle to find the proper brew brought some samples and suggestions to try. She was patient, professional and understanding and hit the nail on the head with the Brugse Zot Blond 🍻. Next up the happy hour Escargot (6 for $15) perfection! We followed that with the happy hour charcuterie of meats ($16) which included duck, rabbit, soppressata, ham and other delicacies. There were some issues with our server and billing but once again Sarah Arnold, stepped in, stepped up and took a situation that could have disastrous and turned it into a top knotch dining experience. Thank you , Sarah, for representing your clientele and business in a professional, friendly and engaging manner found only in the best of retail establishments.

I just love this place. The servers are all so awesome. This time I sat in the bar area instead of the bar, since I was with family. Our server was Darnell! He was excellent. We ordered so much food. The half chicken (divine), a couple dozen oysters of course, linguine, hush puppies (new fave) and the lobster roll. I was the only person that ordered a drink, the endless summer margarita… I only ordered it because I wanted to try the cherry banana foam. It was very tasty, but extremely sweet. All of the margs on happy hour were $11. Love this place!

I had dinner here twice in 2 nights. Loved the food and service both times. The first day I got Maryland's famous lobster roll. While it was good, the next day I had the scallops and risotto, and this was more tasty to me. The servers all have photos of the food, and it really helped our group to choose. Speaking of service, both times I was impressed by the service. They try to make sure you're comfortable. Sat on the patio the first night, liked the sunshine, didn't care for the flies, not the restaurant's fault, it's just the season. Sat more comfortably inside.

Sometimes a good meal can go to great with Phenomenal service. That is exactly what happened on our visit. Darnell was awesome. Knew the menu inside and out and had great recommendations on dishes. Only complaint is the space is loud so if you are looking for a quiet experience - this might not be the place

Came here on a quiet weekend. The place was still packed. Had a lovely Sunday brunch with baked oyster rockerfellas clam chowder and a simple omelette. Very hearty good food.

Nestled along the picturesque Alexandria waterfront, MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino is a luxurious destination that seamlessly blends entertainment and relaxation. This polished casino hotel boasts sleek rooms and suites, alongside an array of dining options, bars, and a vibrant theater. Guests can indulge in thrilling gaming experiences with machines like the Colossal Bier Haus offering impressive jackpots. After some excitement on the casino floor, unwind at Tap Sports Bar with its extensive selection of draft beers.
I didn't gamble, I just stopped by to checkout MGM before I attend a concert there. It was a week day so it wasn't crowded. I walked through the casino and saw that the gambling tables didn't weren't all occupied. There seemed to be a lot of activity at the slot machines. There are upscale restaurants and shopping establishments. Parking is accessible to the casino and shops via elevator. National Harbour and Tangier Mall are nearby. There are views of the river from the open air deck as well.

MGM National Harbor is very big with plenty of games and tables to play. Huge garage with free parking, which is a big plus. Security is tight, so be prepared to show your ID it’s mandatory, but understandable. What’s funny is they pump in the same signature scent as the MGM in Las Vegas, so it feels like being in Vegas without having to fly there. The casino has two levels: the main level with slots and table games, and the second level with poker and the live race track area. Staff are friendly and helpful. It does get super busy, but that just adds to the lively atmosphere.

The host, Janeen was excellent. I am Always treated like a VIP. Thank you. Andre and Fatima at the front desk deserve 5 stars also for their attention to detail and customer service. Steve, at the main front bar saved the day after a long trip. My waiter in the steak house, Earl should teach customer service professionally. He and Roberto made my daughters 18th birthday dinner very special. Thank you to all for making our trip to MGM memorable. Thanks again, Michael Norris

I definitely would like to go back to the hotel and get the full experience but for now I can report that the contract was a lot of fun. I went to see T-Pain and it was worth every dime. He was amazing and the venue was clean and well organized. I will definitely be going back.

This is a review of the casino. I was meeting family at the casino for games and fun on a Sunday afternoon. I arrived at the casino entrance from the garage elevators and walked through the metal detector. I didn’t hear any beep. I saw the green lights and was ready to proceed but looked back at the security guard and he said I have to put my bag down so it can be checked. My keys have mace as a keychain and I was told I had to take that back to my car while the security guard was looking through my purse for anything else that could beep. I go all the way back to my car and drop off the mace and come back to walk-through the detector again this time the security guard violates my entire purse like literally going through every container every bag and every section as other patrons are walking through the metal detectors unobserved. I’ve gone to other casinos and went through the metal detectors with the same purse and contents, and everything was fine. Just having him basically take almost all of the contents out of my purse out to say that certain things could beep when they clearly wouldn’t, made me realize I didn’t want to stay at the casino and meet my family there. I no longer wanted to play any table games. I literally just wanted to let my family know that I felt violated and I was ready to leave. They were outside of the casino at a restaurant and we’re preparing to meet with me so that we could play games and we collectively decided we would go elsewhere for the day. Given that other patrons have reviewed that just anyone was allowed in without much observation and here I was dressed very well and upscale, and my purse contents were violated when I had no weapons, and clearly did not have any contraband, let me know that I would not have had a good time spending my money there. There are other casinos in the area where you are not subject to a near strip search unprovoked. People have played and won at MGM and gotten followed and robbed by other players! Were their attackers pockets and bags almost emptied?? My mother at one time had her retirement party at the MGM when it first opened several years ago. Until now, I was excited to go back. After today’s experience, my money and I will not return.

On Monday night a bit slow and nit much hitting either . Didn't stay their . But good location .the fountain outside just needed to. E turned off . It was ot at all any better then 2 or 3 of your lawn sprinklers at least they would stay on longer then off with faucet on . Getting in out of property was great . No live entertainment and not much of a vibe . Good luck on your chance to win!

The parking can be a maze with exit signs showing you in circles before getting out. Its clean and has a variety of slots with plenty of table games as well if you want to change it up. Slot machines are new but there are also the classic ones too. Pays frequently and people do seem to win, key is to get up while you're up. Promotions are decent with free slot play and bonuses. Frequent useful giveaways too. Gotten bags, headphones, skillet pan etc... There is Royal Farms gas station near by for free no fee charge atms.

Nestled in a charming neighborhood just north of Old Town Alexandria, Rustico Alexandria is a stylish gastropub that combines rustic charm with modern culinary flair. Known for its impressive selection of over 400 craft beers, including more than 300 bottled varieties and an array of rotating drafts, this establishment is a haven for beer enthusiasts.
Although our waiter had many tables he provided exceptional service and he was very attentive throughout. Pasta and pizza options tasted great and portions were generous. After dinner Sherry and chocolate chip cookie dessert were delicious.

Rustico is a classic in the Alexandria area and the DMV. An early classic and continuing winner for the Neighborhood Restaurant Group, now a small, national gem with its core in the DC area, Rustico has a neighborhood feel with a top notch global beverage program with a focus on craft beer and good food. Staff is always knowledgeable and provides great, friendly service. They'll leave you alone if you want or engage in friendly conversation or education about your drinks. I've been enjoying Rustico for over a decade, and my last visit was as good as my first!

In from our of town and looking for a good meal after a long day, could not be happier with the food and service we received from Rustico and their staff. Servings were a great size, definitely didn't go stingy on the pepperoni. The pizzas were cooked perfectly as was the burger patty. The feta cheese dip was delicious, fries were crispy and the drinks were constantly being topped up . Would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone. Five stars.
Deb C — Google review
Disappointing experience, slow service, and below average staff. The chopped salad was quite good, and my son enjoyed his chicken and waffles. The bloody Mary was disappointing--it tasted like watered down Sysco brand mix with a splash of vodka. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday morning (2.22.2025). However, our server struggled to keep track of orders or check in on our party. We had two people whose meals were not prepared when everyone else was served; adding an extra 20 minutes to our wait. We were not once asked if we wanted another round of drinks, and we probably would have bought 2-3 more each in our party of 15. The worst part was that we asked for separate checks at the start, which was not completed, and the waiter said he had to get the manager's approval when we questioned why he brought a combined check. 10 minutes later, the manager walks over, and I'm not kidding, said "I'm here to do the time-consuming and complicated process of splitting your checks." I've never heard such a callous statement from someone in the hospitality industry. Maybe their staff were having an off day, or maybe this crew was the B-team, but the ownership needs to review their customer service training.

Nice decor with patio seating available. A bit pricey but the portions are large enough that we shared our meal. Wide cocktail and drink selection. Good quality and taste were both decent, but nothing to write home about. Attentive and polite staff. *Military Discount: none

Rustico has an awesome eclectic menu and a very cool design and vibe. We split two starters and a chicken caesar salad and couldn't even finish our meal because portions were substantial. The fried cauliflower was my favorite and cooked perfectly. The baked feta was creamy and flavorful. Our only complaint was the service. We there around 2 in the afternoon so we probably hit that limbo time in between the lunch and dinner crowds. Food came out within minutes but no one checked on us for a while. Would definitely try again though when visiting Alexandria.

Five stars because of service. I haven’t had such great service going out to dine in so long. Our waiter Louis was AMAZING! This was our first time dining at this restaurant and being that it was so close to closing, he still gave us with amazing service! The food on the other hand, I would give a 3/5 stars. But overall, we had a pleasant experience.
Amanda F — Google review
Definitely worth trying! We passed through the area and found this charming place over the weekend. It was warm and welcoming. We worried it wouldn’t be child friendly because of its cute artisan look and bar vibe but it was. The kids enjoyed crayons and paper games and we enjoyed a holiday drink while we waited. There was no crowd as it was early but the food did take a little while to come out. We always try the wings wherever we go so we ordered spicy wings and brunch pizza. The pizza was SO GOOD!!!! Do not be put off by the egg on top, it was so worth it! The crust has such a delicious crisp to it. The wings were definitely spicy as listed! However it was more of a spice and less of a flavor, as if they were just tossed in very spicy hot sauce. Try them if you’d like a kick! The staff was very kind and sociable, wishing us happy holidays which always leaves a good impression. Overall this is certainly a place to try if you’re in the area. We will be back for sure!

Evening Star Cafe is a long-standing neighborhood favorite that offers contemporary twists on Southern and modern American cuisine with a Hawaiian touch. The menu is influenced by the chef's Hawaiian roots, featuring dishes like burrata with peas and carrots, housemade gnocchi with foraged mushrooms, Korean barbecue fried cauliflower, and a unique watermelon poke. The charming blue brick building provides outdoor seating where guests can enjoy feathery parrot tulips in the spring.
Delicious food and exceptional service at Evening Star! We dined for Valentine’s Day and enjoyed both the fixed price and al a carte menus. Everything was amazing: my husband proclaimed the meatloaf the best he’d ever had and my sumptuous lobster risotto was so generously portioned that I brought leftovers home! A special note on the cheesecake: it is topped with a tangy passion fruit sauce and probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Such a unique flavor and we absolutely loved it! I also want to call out the staff for their friendly and customer-focused service. We’ve dined at some of the finest establishments in and around DC but rarely have we received the sort of excellent service we saw at Evening Star last night. That’s high praise, especially on busy Valentine’s Day. Especially grateful to the front of house staff who got us such a lovely table by the front window. We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. - From eggs Benedict to the burrito to my mushroom omelette. All were delicious. They each had a different side item as well. Note: we all started eating before any of us remembered to take a photo. The eclectic art was a nice touch. Vintage erector sets were repurposed into really cool artwork. Additionally, there were other nice spaces that could be reserved separately if you have an event… Upstairs, a bar area and pool table. Outback, there was a covered space with a bar as well, but you would want to wait for cooler weather.

Never heard of this place before, but came here to celebrate a birthday dinner for my friend. Food was delicious. Our kind waiter, Gabriel, was nice enough to ask the chef if I could swap out the rice porridge with cheesy grits with the catfish and he was able to and it was so delicious. Thank you Gabriel. The drinks were delicious too I can’t remember exactly what it was called but it was something with peach and vodka. It was really good. Would definitely come again. Ambience was very nice very upscale and classy.

Gabriel is the best waiter ever! He helped me out finding gluten-free options and even worked with the kitchen to write up a celiac-friendly version of the new fall menu. In addition to that, Gabriel is just a really chill dude and we had a great evening dining at Evening Star :)

I recently went to the evening star cafe and I had high hopes going into this. That outdoor atmosphere is fantastic, except for the loud AC unit above everyone’s heads, and I was ready for a fun and delicious meal. To start, the host was extremely kind and helpful. Our waitress did the bare minimum. Did not come by often for refills, couldn’t remember who’s meal was who’s, and just didn’t seem too excited to be there. I’ll spare more details. I only say this for reference since 5 starts is a perfect experience. I also would like to add all the rules at this place is confusing. No Tex mex unless it’s a certain day of the week, drink specials only apply if you’re in a certain section of the restaurant… it’s confusing. The food on the other hand looked great and had some great flavor around the table! I am sad to say though the French fries were the star of the show. The only perfect item I tried. My chicken sandwich was loaded with layers of different sauces and items that confused the palate into a basic meal. The crab cake had tons of flavor but was burnt (would recommend either way if you like jalapeños), and the wedge salad didn’t come out with dressing/came with burnt chicken. I forgot to take pictures, apologies. Lastly the pork starter was there for flavor but it felt like the there was more garnish then protein. Other than that all I can speak to was the drink I had. Ghost in the ship or something like that.. I couldn’t end up finishing it. With all that to say, it’s a nice relaxing area. Get a drink with a burger with fries but I dont know if I’ll be back. Maybe to try the brunch!

I went to this restaurant probably a week ago for the art on the avenue and my experience was amazing ! Paris at the Evening Star Restaurant was amazing! Super attentive, friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. Their recommendations were perfect, and they made the whole dining experience exceptional. Even though it was super busy she made sure to be quick with her service . Definitely ask for Paris if you go!

Making a trip into Alexandria, I figured I’d look for the most well reviewed establishments at which to have brunch. Combined with an appealing menu, Evening Star Cafe seemed to fit the bill. I ordered The Vermonter, a cinnamon bun sandwich with fried chicken, candies bacon, fried egg, and aioli served with fries. Overall, the dish was not bad - the eggs were cooked perfectly with just a bit of run and the chicken was perhaps the most tender and moist I’ve ever had. Now the cinnamon bun was small and lacked flavor, the bacon didn’t appear to be candies at all, and the fries were basic. A major complaint was their Bloody Mary which was advertised to come with a grilled cheese and bacon skewer. The drink came without either, and about five minutes later the 1”x1” grilled cheese square was brought out; the bacon never came. My friends ordered the tostada and 3 egg breakfast. They complained about the density of the sausage patty and the selection of accompaniment for the toast. Overall the order was not so much bad as it was disappointing. I’m sure my experience was the exception as this location is so well reviewed. Definitely give them a chance. I can’t right at 10 when the brunch started, so perhaps the kitchen was still getting into the swing of the day.

I am at the Evening Star a lot, but I don't always write a review. I have to say, last night's dinner knocked it out of the park. Our party of four had the meatloaf, the ribeye, the pork chop, and the scallops. Beautifully presented and everyone raved about what they were eating. My ribeye was cooked perfectly and I don't know what that little garlic potato thing was that came with it, but... oh my gawd, it was a tiny piece of magic. Three of us shared a nice bottle of zinfandel and the fourth chose a few beers from the extensive offerings. I also really enjoyed sitting out in the side garden ("The Front Porch"). The lighting is very nice and the tables are spacious. As always, the background music was great. Note: I would have liked to have had something green with my ribeye, but it's on me that I didn't notice that it did not. I could have ordered a side of asparagus. :-) Felt a little guilty not having something healthy w a massive ribeye and the sinful potato morsel!

Purple Patch is a bi-level restaurant that offers a mix of American comfort food and Filipino specialties, along with herb-infused cocktails. The owner, Patrice Cleary, draws on her Filipino heritage to bring authentic flavors to the menu. With a background in the Marine Corps and experience in the restaurant industry, Cleary has created a welcoming space that serves up delicious dishes rooted in tradition. Customers praise the friendly staff, attentive service, and homey atmosphere at Purple Patch.
First time and the food was very tasty and the service was amazing! The drinks aren’t worth it though because it’s very very small for the value. Especially the one with the mango and rum. I would suggest a bottle of wine. We did that and it was good. The skewers are great and the pickled stuff it came with was good. The curry chicken was tasty but had way too much fat for boneless thighs. The eggplant adobo was fantastic! The bread pudding was rubbery and hard ish but the ice cream was great. I would highly recommend this place!
N T — Google review
Came here for dinner recently on a Saturday night—the restaurant is small but was crowded, I would suggest making reservations. The Arroz Caldo (rice soup with chicken) was so delicious! The crispy garlic gave the soup so much more flavor. Enjoyed the Spicy Adobe Fried Chicken Entrée—not really spicy, huge portion, and I wished the chicken was more crispy because the sauce made it soggy quick. Also preferred garlic rice versus the spicy adobe rice. Pork Sinigang and Pancit Canton were good too. For cocktails, was not a fan of the Ube Mojito—tasted bitter and lacked any sweet or carbonated taste. For dessert, the Warm Pandesal & Ube Ice Cream was okay. Service was good and food came out fairly quick. Prices seemed reasonable as well. Parking is difficult to find—all street parking so factor in time to find parking.

Unfortunately, my friend and I came here with high expectations since there were such great reviews. However, our brunch experience at Purple Patch was very disappointing. Firstly, the service was not great as we were rushed by our waitress to place our orders. Secondly, the food itself was shockingly flavorless — the chicken adobo was too salty and didn’t taste like adobo at all. The bread pudding dry, did not taste like ube, and was quite tiny for the price. I would say this is not the place to go for a brunch. I’m not sure if the dinner menu is better, but by these standards, I would not take a chance. I’m sure there are better Filipino restaurants in DC!

We haven't been back in nearly a decade. It doesn't even compare with the last experience. It was definitely more flavorful and authentic this time around. We had the lechon with crab fat, pan de sal sandwich with beef tapa and egg, Bicol express pork, garlic fried rice with egg, and their burger with the pan de sal bun. Adding crab dmfat on anything made a big difference. We enjoyed most of the dishes except the Bicol express. Will definitely return to try other dishes on the next visit.
Mark B — Google review
If you don't know what to get - I recommend asking the waiters. But beforewarned that if they recommend Sizzling Sisig that you may not like it if vinegar-y taste doesn't suit you. I enjoyed it but was it my favorite -nope. I keep forgetting that some Filipino foods have vinegar-y elements to them. If that's not your go to, ask for something that's sweeter (more Thai like) etc. the vibes overall was chill. Music playing and those on the TV if you're sitting at the bar aren't in sync so don't be surprised.

Purple Patch is just as good as my last visit in 2015, and after a decade it’s awesome to see a local Filipino spot be so busy and with a larger menu. I really appreciated the option to select your protein of choice for a few Pinoy classics like the Laing (we got it with mushrooms). The sinigang tasted like home, and the pork Bicol express was perfectly spicy and fatty. Last but not least, the ube banana bread was as delicious as before. We also got the ube tres leches cake topped with pineapple - such a good combo!

I have been hearing good things about this restaurant so I finally decided to try it out, but sadly ended up being a bit disappointed. The dinner started off great with the lumpia as an appetizer, I just wish that would have carried through the main dishes. I tried the pancit with chicken and had high hopes, however, it ended up being quite salty and dry. I think for how much we paid I just expected something a bit better. I would recommend the calamansi juice though!
Emilija F — Google review
I’m always very excited to try Filipino restaurants when I visit different cities. With this being rated so high, my expectations were up there. I thought the lumpia was okay. It was good, but nothing extraordinary. If anything, I’d say it was authentic. The same could be said for the pancit dish we ordered. It tasted exactly how I expected it to be, and I was pleased with it. Up to this point, I was decently pleased with the meal. Next was the ginataan. I was very disappointed in this dish. This is one of my favourite Filipino foods and I thought the squash and beans were way undercooked. The vegetables were still quite hard and tough to eat. I also thought the service when I was there was subpar. Our waitress seemed very all over the place and food was being brought to the wrong table on numerous occasions. I thought the restaurant itself looked nice and it was clean. It was also quiet enough to have conversations which was nice.

One of my favorite spots in DC. Food is always delicious, wine selection is great, and good happy hour specials. I love the outside seating options and indoors is cute, but it can get pretty loud inside when busy where it gets hard to hear or have a conversation. During the summer, the mosquitoes are awful (at least for me) even though they offer bug spray.

Came here with my sister after a day in D.C and the both of us really enjoyed our wine and meal! I got the Hugo spritz (the elderflower was an amazing touch) and we shared the black bean hummus and taquitos which were both very tasty! Also needless to mention the inside and outside are both very cute!

The trend with restaurants going to online ordering is somewhat alarming. If I wanted to serve myself, I would stay at home. I had a rather negative experience using the toast app to order my food. Nobody comes and checks on your table to see if your order was correct or right or if you need anything else There is a surcharge placed on your order. I am thinking some of that goes to toast. Just really hate it higher people provide service that’s why people go to a restaurant. Your atmosphere is great. Your cocktails are great and the food was really good. That said I got a takeout order ordered on toast and was entirely screwed upbecause there’s no way to say what you want included excluded and it doesn’t make any sense. I just wish that there was a person I could’ve placed my order with.

Had a birthday dinner here with 10 people and it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere was gorgeous, the tables were spacious enough to fit everyone, the ordering via QR code was perfect for big groups, and the service was fast and efficient. Lulu’s Winegarden is a charming and inviting spot for a casual night out with friends. The outdoor seating is a huge plus, with heaters and cozy fire pits that make it comfortable year-round, and the overall vibe is warm and welcoming. The wine list offers plenty of great options, and the small plates are fresh and tasty (the hummus and flatbread were a highlight). Service was generally friendly and efficient, though it did get a little slower during the busiest part of the evening. Still, it’s a great place to relax, share good food, and enjoy an easygoing atmosphere. Would definitely return!

Augie's Mussel House and Beer Garden is a cozy spot with brick-lined walls, offering a wide selection of Belgian dishes and beers. The restaurant features outdoor dining year-round, complete with live music on select evenings. With 11 varieties of mussels to choose from, including Green Curry and Beef & Bacon, diners can enjoy them for $15 per pound. Additionally, the beer garden boasts over 70 beers and a charming patio where dogs are welcome. The establishment is named after St.
Went in on Monday night and got sat right away. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was tasty, came out quick and good portions. Cute spot with great little patio area. The reason for only 3 stars for atmosphere was the live music was SO loud we were literally shouting to try to talk. The live music is nice, but you need to be able to have a conversation as well.

First time at Augie’s Mussels and we were so excited! The food was great — we had the Nduja Mussels (recommended by our server), frites, and wings with both Augie’s sauce and green curry. Everything was full of flavor — 8/10 for the food. The service was excellent, 10/10. Our server was friendly, helpful, and made great suggestions. The only disappointment was the restroom cleanliness. We arrived right at opening (11 a.m.), and they were already in rough shape — they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned the night before (or possibly even longer). It was a surprising contrast to the rest of the experience. We’d still come back for the food and service, but hope management pays a little more attention to the restroom upkeep.

Loved this place!! What a great concept for two of my favorite things -- mussels and beer! Service here, from the entire, but small lunch staff, was par excellence! Patrick especially went full out to satisfy our needs. The bar person, the serving/busing staff, and the chef were also wonderful - polite and caring. The chef was even willing to help with a special restrictive diet request so I could eat their excellent soup made with sausage, legumes, and kale--nicely spicy! We were able to enjoy the amazing beer garten to dine al fresco, but the charming interior was pretty quiet due to the gorgeous weather. The majority of patrons were outside either at the double-sided indoor/outdoor bar or sitting at long, substantial picnic style-tables. There is even a counter space area built around a tree. I highly recommend this pub/beergarten-style restaurant! We will definitely return the next time we visit Alexandria😁👍

This is my favorite hangout on King Street when I want something low-key. They’ve got a huge list of appetizers—I usually fill up on those before I even think about an entrée. The outdoor patio has such a great vibe with big tables for sharing, and most of the time there’s live music that makes it even better. Perfect spot for drinks, apps, and a laid-back night out.

Place was slammed on a Monday night. We still found a table and the service was ok. I’m a mussels newbie, but I felt you don’t get much for your money. I had the classic ones, but maybe I should upgrade next time. Fries and dips is a fun addition.

This place is consistently amazing. We have been many times before, always on the patio… most recently we went for Mother’s Day and they gave moms carnations. Order the green curry mussels and ask to get them extra hot (if you can handle spice). Good food and good service.

Cool place. I ordered the cheese fries with pork belly. Hard to screw up but they did. Pork belly should not have the texture of a twelve year old Slim Jim. The cheese sauce was insipid. Fries crunchy but not especially flavorful. Had a nice beer. But I had to look it up with a QR code. Call me old school but I'll take a printed menu any day.

I had a French Dip at Augie's, and I was very disappointed. The mixed greens had two tiny slivers of tomato, about 5 small pieces of onion, and nothing else. The French dip itself had a tiny amount of roast beef in it, mainly being fried onions and a bit of cheese. For 17 dollars it was an absolute insult. The bread was also different, pressed down and with sesame seeds, unlike the French dip from the picture (also attached) The server was awesome - she almost made the visit worth while.

Nestled above the Transit Pier, Cantina Bambina offers a laid-back two-story waterfront experience that’s perfect for anyone looking to unwind. This open-air bar is a go-to spot for concert enthusiasts and casual visitors alike, thanks to its stunning views of the Washington Channel and nearby marinas. With an extensive selection of margaritas and cocktails, along with delicious quesadillas and frozen custard, it’s hard not to enjoy your time here.
We went there mostly for the great view and lively atmosphere and I got a nice service and drink also!

To be clear, I attended a post-sailing drinking event and did not try the FOOD. The cocktails and beer were delicious and the SERVICE from the bartenders was 100% wonderful, polite, and professional. The atmosphere is fantastic and worth a second visit to try the food.

I wish people realized that 4-star reviews (bc you don’t believe in 5 starts or whatever) - while you mean well - genuinely hurt a business. Make it either 5 stars, if you would return, or just don’t review. You know you had a great enough experience to enjoy it so make that known.

Originally we wanted to go to the upstairs bar but it ended up being very busy. Found the outside patio in the back and it was perfect. Lovely place to enjoy a drink and play some games while enjoying the water views and watching boats.
Kiersten H — Google review
Disrespectful, unprofessional, and borderline unlawful. We tried to visit this spot for a night out but were immediately accused of having fake IDs simply because they were from out of state. Without verifying anything, the bouncer took our real, legal IDs and put them in his pocket—with no explanation as to why or what he intended to do with them. He claimed he’d “check with the boss,” but just stood there and never followed up. Our IDs were valid—and honestly, they’re lucky we didn’t call the police for holding them. Confiscating someone’s government-issued ID with no authority or reason is completely unacceptable. After checking the reviews, we saw we weren’t the only ones. There’s a clear pattern of this place denying entry to out-of-state guests, regardless of ID validity. It’s discriminatory, shady, and unprofessional. If you’re from out of town, skip this place entirely. Plenty of other spots in the city actually respect their patrons.

Delicious drinks and great place to eat your crab cake bought from the fish market next door! (no pick your own crabs allowed upstairs). Also they support the community (DC Sail)!
Liz S — Google review
Well, I would suggest visiting this place primarily for drinks, relaxation, and conversation, especially after having your meal elsewhere. During our visit, we tried four different cocktails, including the Painkiller, Dark and Stormy, Dockside Lemonade, and Strawberry Lime Rickey. All of them were good. However, there are very limited food options available. They offer snacks like small-sized kettle chips that you might find in stores. I believe the experience could be greatly improved if they put in some effort to provide a variety of quick snacks to complement the drinks

Republic Restoratives Distillery is located in Ivy City, making use of warehouse space to house its vibrant front room bar and tasting area. Founded by Pia Carusone and Rachel Gardner, the distillery raised nearly $120,000 through crowd-funding to establish their operation in 2015. They employ a unique reciprocating still designed by distiller Rusty Figgins, which uses copper only where it contacts the spirit vapor.
Haven't tried it yet, not sure I will. But it arrived promptly and was packaged well. They also sent timely emails updating me on where the product was in the shipping process.

Stopped in there while we were in town recently. Come to find out, they don’t have a cocktail lounge open any longer but still have retail sales. Talked with them for quite a while and Sebastian was awesome and walked us through the history and the product lines. There was another amazing gal helping us, whose name I don’t remember (sorry!). Brought a couple bottles home with us, the apple brandy, and the Fascist Tears vodka. We look forward to visiting again when we’re back in town! Thanks for the great experience

If you're looking for beer that's harder to find and more unique than your average drink, Bardo Brewing is the place to go. With a cult following, the brewery has been open since 1994 and is located right on DC's southeast riverfront. They serve rare beers with high alcohol contents, like their 'White Lightnin' or 'Bacon Porter.
Great dive beer garden, cheap, peaceful, maybe the last of its kind before SW DC gets entirely swallowed up by faux luxury bars and restaurants. Amazing place to meet with friends or relax with a book. And the craft beers are incredibly tasty!
Basil H — Google review
Bardo Brewing feels like a pop-up brewery on the eve of an end-of-the-world apocalypse...in a good way. Most of the brewery is built with old shipping containers and reclaimed furniture exposed to the elements. The beer is good — no soap taste per other reviews — and they have a wide selection. The barman needed to climb up a ladder to a stacked shipping container in order to make change. A street dog watched on as I waited for tumbleweed to blow by...all in the almost-shadow of the Nats stadium and a luxury condo construction site.
Joseph T — Google review
The beer is decent with several options available. Can't beat the outdoor atmosphere and location by the water. No food options but you can bring your own(and your dog too!). Food trucks will likely be present when spring arrives.
John T — Google review
Beautiful location, sit outside hang out with friends and four legged friends (attached to a dogpark). BUT the beer is not that great, IPA are weak, Sours are bland, fruits are harsh... the beer isn't that great, but to hang out with friends and pets in a great location, you sacrifice! Though beer is hit or miss depending on the person, enjoy and see for yourself
Samuel A — Google review
They have nice beer in a relaxed outdoor atmosphere. It's a nice change of pace from most other breweries in town. I grabbed a couple pints before a ball game next door and be returning with family and friends for some afternoons soon.

I have never tasted worse beer. Bought a lager that looked like a hazy ipa. I had a full pitcher of it, and no one in the group wanted to drink it. Cool location though. If they sold some cans of beer, this could be a solid spot.

The Midlands Beer Garden in Washington D.C. is a casual and inviting spot tucked away off Georgia Ave, offering a wide selection of craft beers, light fare, and picnic tables for relaxation and good times. The large outdoor patio welcomes dogs and features plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas for shade on sunny days. Guests can enjoy the extensive beer selection while socializing with their furry friends or watching outdoor TVs that play sports games.
Great place to come for a happy hour and spend some time with friends. They have plenty of bruise on draft, and they even have one or two local breweries as well. They don’t brew beer on site, but they have plenty of offerings from other areas. They also offer cocktails, which are really good. The bartenders are really friendly and pretty quick to serve. We ended up getting margaritas and margaritas were pretty well done. The highlight here is the food. They have some excellent Gastropub offerings that you can eat while you’re drinking beer or having cocktails. I also really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant has a pretty open front side so the outside seating seemingly transitions to indoor seating as you walk through. Highly recommend if you’re looking to have a happy hour or just some beer with friends

I met a friend here for drinks the other night, and let’s just say, the beer and atmosphere did not disappoint! The beer was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Such an amazing beer garden in DC!! Even on a sweltering hot summer day, the cold beer + ample shade in the (very large) outdoor area keeps me enjoying the outdoors. Even on a busy day, there are plenty of tables to choose from. They also have a well ventilated indoor area. In terms of menu variety, the kitchen serves up a good mix of high-quality bar food along with a few unexpected additions such as the Ribeye Gyro which was honestly phenomenal. Drink-wise, there is a large selection of beers to choose from as well as a few non-beer options such as cider. The bar is also well-equipped for some cocktails. Overall, I'd be here all the time if it were more conveniently located. The staff are all very welcoming / friendly and it's a great space to hang with friends, have some drinks, enjoy (unexpectedly amazing) food, and play some games.

Went here on a beautiful sunny day. My party and I (13 people who came and went) sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed some food and drinks. Our party included kids and adults not sinking so we were pleasantly surprised at the vast number of NA drinks available. We had the bratwurst and pretzel combo which was delicious and a good value. The pretzel was big, hot and fresh and the bratwurst was downright delicious, which I was surprised and shocked by since bratwurst aren’t typically my favorite. The patio had good sun cover, large fans blowing, and plenty of seating for large groups. The restaurant can reserve tables for a large group but still had accommodate large wall in groups such as mind. The inside area also had ample large group seating, which was near empty given that it was a beautiful day. This particular visit was my second and I’m sure I’ll visit again.

We love having Midlands as a DCGFFL sponsor! The support means a lot to our league, and it's become one of our favorite spots for team hangouts after games. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the staff is fantastic, and it's the perfect place to unwind and connect with teammates. Grateful for the partnership and looking forward to many more seasons together!
DC G — Google review
Fun indoor/outdoor beer garden with plenty of long benches, great for groups. Lots of TVs for watching games. Just a heads up, it’s a Michigan bar. The bratwurst and nachos are both solid choices. It can get pretty busy, so expect a bit of a wait for food or drinks during peak times. Parking isn’t the easiest, but there are usually spots to be found in the neighborhood.
Paul S — Google review
The outdoor beer garden is an oasis away from the noise of Georgia Ave. With roll-up garage doors, the inside and outside blend together seamlessly. The spot is great for birthdays (adults or kids), watching sports, or just hanging with friends. With a great beer list on tap and in cans, solid cocktails, and frose, the drinks are spot on. The food varies in quality but tends to be on the stronger side (or just bring in Call Your Mother from next door like we did last weekend and down your bagel with a beer).
Cregan D — Google review

The resort boasts several on-site restaurants and hosts various seasonal events and activities for families. What a magnificent resort. The staff was absolutely amazing. I was greeted with a wonderful smile at the front desk. Given meticulous attention and taking very good care of all with the most pleasant welcoming. The spa is fantastic. The masseuse was great. Lovely saltwater pool and hot tub were very nice. I had a fabulous view from my room on the 16th floor. I cannot wait to go back again.
Johnny F — Google review
First and foremost let me say that the Gaylord resort is beautiful! Every person who work there that I encountered was wonderful, especially the lovely men and women who checked us in and out of our workshops for the AA SC conference for 2025! The location is beautiful right off of the water just gorgeous views lots of rooms I think there's about 14 or 15 floors. There are so many options for event space. They have about five or six eateries that you can choose from a few of them, like the sports bar and like one of the other upscale restaurants don't open until 4:00 p.m. They had an eatery which delivered food to your room. They have on-site, garage, and valet parking. The parking is pricey if you're staying in the hotel resort the parking is $46 a day, they charge you daily fees and taxes for staying in the hotel and of course it's a little bit more on the pricey side if you're on a budget. Luckily I was there at the expense of my employer, which I am so grateful for. Still pricey! There are a lot of different places to eat attractions and they even have a trolley that takes you to the outlets! The rooms were clean very neat, and my room was facing the outside which I preferred rather than having a room with a balcony that's faced the inside of the resort where it's open to the other parts of the hotel like the restaurants people walking around downstairs, although those rooms look nice and it's nice to have a balcony you don't have much privacy with those. The only complaint I have about my room was that there was no microwave, I love the shower, I love the beds, they even have Smart TV. Overall I give it a 7 1/2 out of 10 it was expensive in the scence that everything had a high cost so everything added up, and even though they did have a few eateries and a couple of restaurants to me there weren't enough options. I'm absolutely glad that I had the experience and if I was blessed enough to have someone cover the expenses for me I would definitely go back.

Room - nothing fancy with the rooms. I would say that it's on par with most 3-star hotels. Bed was moderately comfy and the room stayed fairly cool. The best part was how quickly the water in the shower and sink warmed up. Service - I didn't encounter any staff except for when I checked in. The member that checked me in was fairly rude. He seemed upset and like he didn't want to be there. He spoke so fast and mumbled that I could barely understand what he was saying. Location - the view overlooking the water was very nice. Also, the close proximity to restaurants made it very convenient. Other - I think the look and feel of the Gaylord is nice. The restaurants within the hotel are severely overpriced and underwhelming. I would walk or drive out of my way to avoid going to them.
Seth W — Google review
The rooms are good for the price. The phone service in the hotel was friendly. The front desk staff were friendly as well. The ice maker closest to my room did not work my entire stay and they never bothered to put an out of service sign up even though I reported it on my first day. The card readers for the doors and elevators are slow to pick up the signal from the cards. The card stopped working on my room door on day 2, but thankfully I already had the digital key on the app, which was just as slow to read on the room lock and elevators as the card key, but at least it continued working my entire stay. The food in the restaurants were decent to good, depending on what you ordered. I tried several of the establishments during my stay and while most of the food was good, the pricing was outrageous. The scenery outside the rear of the hotel was really nice, but didn't have much to do. As for things to do inside the hotel outside of the convention halls, it felt lacking both inside and the general area outside of the hotel. The interior decor is nice and has a relaxing feel.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with an incredible staff! I stayed here for a conference and the event space was extensive and exactly what we needed. The view of the water with the sunsets and sunrises were truly unmatched. The have multiple food and beverage options and are close to many restaurants and shops. I also learned that all their unused food from events is donated to local non-profits which is amazing!

Overall a pretty decent hotel. The rooms are a bit small. The beds are comfortable and you will have different types of pillows available. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Hotel is within 5 minute walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants.
Arsalan E — Google review
The hotel room was clean and spacious, and I had a comfortable stay with no issues. There are some limited spots around the hotel where you can sit and get some work done, and the Wi-Fi works well. The hotel has a couple of restaurants, though dining options are limited and the prices are on the higher end. Parking is easy to find but it is not free. Hotel is just a short distance from the Tanger Outlet. There’s a river front near the hotel and lawn chairs are available for patrons to enjoy the view.

We had some unfortunate issues during our stay at this property. The property itself is gorgeous and in a wonderful location at National Harbor. There is plenty to do within walking distance and plenty to do at the hotel itself. Unfortunately, we cannot say that the staff were anything but awful. Upon checking in, none of the front desk staff seemed to know how to handle our Marriott Luminous benefits (free breakfast being one of them). They were unsure how to direct us to utilize our perk of daily breakfast and ultimately informed us just to "buy/eat whatever we want for breakfast and it will be comped at the end of the stay". That didn't make us feel very confident in our breakfast choices. It was as if none of them had ever heard of free breakfast at their hotel or Marriott Luminous perks. Our other issue was that our one year old unfortunately fell into a concealed hole while playing in the grass area at the back of the resort. He fell completely into a giant hole that was overgrown and concealed with grass. It was extremely traumatic for him and for my wife who witnessed the event and completely lost site of him when he fell into the hole. Upon reporting this to the front desk and security, to ensure our incident was documented and to ensure the hole was appropriately fixed so no other children or guests would be injured, the hotel "inadvertently" checked us out of our hotel room. We still had another night to stay at the hotel. We did not know at this time that we were "inadvertently" checked out of our room. The next morning, upon attempting to have breakfast, the staff at the cafe stated that our room was empty and there was no reservation attached to our name. I was unable to charge our breakfast to our room, as apparently our room did not exist. Per our room rate, we were to have free breakfast each morning of our stay. We ended up paying for breakfast out of pocket, since we couldn’t charge it to our room. I went to the front desk to sort out why our reservation did not exist. The girl at the front desk told me our reservation was closed because we were “supposed to check out yesterday”. I stated that our reservation was with a check out date of August 27th and she (word for word) asked me to “prove it”. I had my phone and was able to bring up our reservation, but why should I have to “prove” the dates of our stay that were outlined in our confirmation? I then asked for them to ensure our breakfasts were appropriately removed from our room charges, as we were staying through a Marriott Luminous rate, where breakfast was included. She then again asked me, the guest, to “prove” that I was entitled to free breakfast under my room rate? At this point, I am obviously extremely frustrated by the way we have been treated for two days. Additionally, we needed to pack and leave for the airport to make it on time for our flight. The front desk staff made me run a credit card twice to “pay for the prior night”. I asked for an emailed receipt and detailed invoice to ensure the breakfasts were removed and that we weren’t charged additional for our stay, as we had pre-paid our visit. As we are going to leave (Uber arrived at the hotel), my husband sees in his app that we are now registered to stay an ADDITIONAL NIGHT with a check out of August 28th. What a mess… He had to go back to the front desk to AGAIN try to straighten out our reservation to ensure we weren’t charged for additional nights. as it was showing in his app that we now had a reservation to stay for another night. The way we were treated by the staff at the hotel was completely unacceptable and unfortunate. If the staff (front desk staff and security) were to receive more training, this could be a fantastic property all around. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We have been trying to work out a resolution with the property for over two months and continue to receive the runaround from them.

This hotel is a poor representation of the Marriott brand. Our stay started off rough - despite confirming an early check in with the hotel twice before arrival, we arrived and were told that our room would not be ready for several more hours. The front desk said that we should not have been told our room was ready an hour earlier when we asked. A room suddenly became available within 15 minutes and we were able to check in… The room seemed fine at first until we realized there was mold along the ceiling. We woke up each day with runny noses and feeling congested. The icing on the cake was the parking garage. Despite the fact that all the surrounding hotels offer in and out privileges, this hotel does not. As soon as you exceed 3 hours in the garage, you have to pay the full 24 hour rate of $25. They do offer a valet but should realize that some customers prefer to self park. Overall, this hotel felt more like a two star hotel and does not represent The Westin brand well. The location cannot be beat and that was the only pleasant aspect of our stay. We will stay at the National Harbor again but at a different property.

I had an excellent stay at The Westin National Harbor. The hotel was spotless, well-managed, and located in such a beautiful area by the waterfront. What made my experience truly outstanding was the hospitality and professionalism of Khaled. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay — from the warm welcome to his attention to every detail. Thank you, Khaled, for your exceptional service and kindness. You truly represent the best of the Westin brand. I’ll definitely come back again soon!

Beautiful location. AC in the room doesn’t work properly. Was told repeatedly the issue was fixed but the thermostat still showed near 80, and the fan was blowing warm humid air. The evening manager was more interested in knowing whether I’d be checking out early rather than put an effort into helping with making the situation more comfortable. I asked for a fan even and the three they had were already handed out. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone and I won’t be staying here again……

The room was fine, but could use a better cleaning, the lamps on the night stand was dusty and the silver metal rack that held our towels on it was not cleaned well. The view was good just wish it was on a higher floor. The only discrepancy was that our window outside had a lot of spiders on it making the sight an eye soar. Also, some of the staff was not friendly. I'm to understand that if I book through a 3rd party there's no guarantee of me getting my request or preference met. The surrounding area was lovely.

The room decorations are dated and all the carpeting needs to be replaced, especially the hallways. They are worn and are bunched up in places making the carpet uneven. Room furniture was clean but looks smudged. Beds are comfy, but too many pillows to deal with. The comforters are very heavy, but too thick for summer.

Several issues that occurred within the first hour of our recent stay We had reserved and prepaid for a room with a king-size bed. However, upon check-in, we were given a room with two smaller beds, which was not what we booked. We returned to the front desk to request the correct room type, and were reassigned, which did have a king bed as requested. Unfortunately, upon settling into this new room, we noticed visible black mold in multiple areas — including above the bathroom door, on the closet, ceiling, and trim near the bed. This was concerning from both a cleanliness and health standpoint, and disappointing given the reputation of the Westin brand. As a result, we had to request yet another room change — making it the second room reassignment in less than an hour of arriving. Needless to say, this was not the start we had hoped for on a weekend getaway I set up for my husband

I had a very difficult experience at the Westin located in Oxon hill. For one, I called before booking a room online to see if they charged a holding fee, incidental fee along with the cost of a room. I was told no, however once I arrived to check in; I was charged an extra $150. The people at the front desk, specifically Kalad and Youseef were difficult to speak to and not accomendating at all. However, a young lady helped me. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have had a place to rest for the night. My room had a clogged toliet and it took longer than expected to get fixed. The room was outdated but the water view was lovely. I will not recommend this hotel in the National Harbor area.

Penn Social is a vibrant bar located in Penn Quarter, offering a lively atmosphere with various entertainment options. The 13,000-square-foot space features three bars, patio seating, and an extensive beer list. Guests can enjoy pub grub while participating in activities such as trivia, dancing, corn hole leagues, and beer pong tournaments. The venue also provides free board games including giant Jenga and has shuffleboard, skeeball, and arcade games for everyday entertainment.
Line dance event was so refreshing. Not a bar scene, but a good band and people of various ages dancing and having fun. Alcohol and food available, but seemed most there for dance and tge iced water. Great venue - think groups rent it out so events will vary.

Bartenders are friendly, there are game tables, and it's a convenient location. The food is unmemorable. I was hopeful by the promise of Detroit-style pizza but in practice the crust was fairly soft and the sauce and toppings weren't particularly flavorful.

Attended a Profs and Pints event here. The room downstairs is big and there was plenty of space, so I didn’t feel crowded and was able to concentrate on the presentation. Food is very tasty and they bring it to you, which is a nice touch.

Left a marketing card on my car and had to spend 30 min trying to clean it up. Stop using trash to market your self. I changed this to a 4 star because Penn Social said someone who is using their venue did this and not them. I would recommend to disallow this to people who use your venue.

Scam. Since when is a “pint” the same size as a mixed drink? In no definition of the word pint in any country or region is it this big. The cup is clearly marked 12oz as mentioned in another review, the owner replied saying it’s 14oz when filled to the brim (which it was not). An American pint is 16oz and a British pint is 20oz, far off from the 12oz that is given to you. Completely scummy tactics, the OZ of the drink should be listed, not some seemingly arbitrary definition of the word pint. The owner is using what’s called a “cheater pint” and hoping no one notices, they’re 14oz and typically only filled to 12oz, so they pocket the difference from only giving us 75% of the real pint that’s listed on the menu. It would have been completely fine if the volume was listed and I knowingly paid $8 for the beer, but this is not the case at all. It’s just downright dishonest to say you’re getting a pint and then not giving you a quarter of your beer. This kind of thing is actually illegal in the UK and Europe, and enforced very heavily. Update: I see that the owner replied to my comment stating that the plastic cup is “16 oz to the brim”. Seems like lying is the name of the game at Penn social because he directly stated in another response that the cups are 14oz to the brim. Screenshots are attached.

Online, the reviews and menu looked fantastic, but my experience was a bit chaotic from the moment I walked in. The hostess podium was empty, and we were left to wander around until we figured out where to go. --- ### The Food The food itself was all right, but the quality didn't quite match the high prices, especially for the cheese curds, which I was not impressed with. However, the parmesan fries—what you call "duck fries"—were amazing and definitely a highlight of the meal. --- ### The Atmosphere & Amenities I really enjoyed the cornhole setup, but the wait for bowling was far too long. On a positive note, the convenient overflow parking was a huge plus, located just a short walk away. --- ### Final Thoughts While I won't personally be returning, I still think it's a place worth checking out. Others might have a different experience, and it's definitely a good spot for people interested in the games and the convenient location.

We went to Penn Social for their Profs and Pints night which we were super psyched for since we'd never been. We ordered beers at the bar (a little confusion with the bartenders there but not a big deal). We then sat and ordered food. I got my wings in about 10 min, right before the event started. My partner's never came. About 30 min later we asked about his sandwich and we were told 5 min. After another 10-15 I tried to go upstairs to see if they could help - since a lecture was occurring we didnt want to interrupt by asking again downstairs. The guy upstairs wasn't helpful at all. Back downstairs i asked the guy who told us 5 min if the sandwhich had arrived, he tried to just send me off to someone else. The sandwich never came (it was 1 hr and 21 min total that we waited) and it kind of soured the whole experience. We decided to leave during the break to get him food and when we told the bartender the situation he seemed way more concerned about telling the kitchen to not make it (which we were 99% sure they were never going to) than providing us the refund. It took a bit to just get him to remove the item, let us pay and leave. Profs and Pints is a super cool concept and would love to attend a lecture somewhere else, but never again at Penn Social.

The Brig is a year-round tavern located in Navy Yard, just south of Capitol Hill in Washington DC. It offers a spacious beer garden that transports visitors to the brauhauses of Munich. The tavern serves liters of German brews, giant pretzels, and bratwurst, providing an authentic taste of Germany in the heart of DC.
One of the best bars in DC and definitely the best in the neighborhood. No better place to bring your dog to watch sports or grab a beer with friends. They can stream sports, too, and they are always willing to flip TVs if you ask. They also show a ton of soccer matches. Great vibe, people, and food, especially the pizza. Some people complain about the QR code to order, but you literally get your drink order in less than 2 mins. Very efficient. Love this place. A DC gem.

Met our oldest daughter and fiance for a visit and pre dinner snacks as we were passing through moving our youngest from NYC to VA Beach for a new job, partly bc it's pet friendly and we had our dog with us. They love this place and I can see why. Great atmosphere!! So fun

This place has a pretty nice vibe, a full bar, and a big beer selection. Do know though the whole place is open air and only some of it is covered, so be ready for that. They have tons of seating but their is only street parking. Biggest down side for me is last time I was there I got a bunch of mosquito bites on my legs and had to walk for block back after finding parking.

Mostly outdoor bar with make shift roofs and walls. Great atmosphere. Good location, near metro stops. I was here in the rain and stayed dry. Good place to meet up with friends and coworkers and hang out. The sliders are pretty tasty and will generally fill an adult human.

This is by far my favorite neighborhood bar. Friendly staff, excellent food, good prices. Even at their busiest I feel taken care of - they play the games I want to watch and make sure my glass is never empty. If you’re looking for a friendly, neighborhood bar, this is the one
Chris J — Google review
I’ve spent well over $100 at this bar, and you’d think that kind of loyalty would earn at least a baseline of respect. Instead, I was met with hostility. All I did was ask if they could put on a game. Rather than just explaining why not, the bartender snapped, “This is the second time you asked for something, and wouldn’t accept no for an answer.” Excuse me? That’s not customer service — that’s picking a fight. I wasn’t being pushy; I simply wanted to understand the reason. Instead of communicating like a professional, he got confrontational, to the point it felt like things could escalate. When you’ve already dropped over a hundred bucks in one place, the last thing you expect is to be treated like a nuisance. A bar should be about hospitality, not hostility. There are too many places in town that actually value their customers — I suggest you spend your money at one of them instead.

Service was great for a QR code ordering environment. Wish we could get back to human interaction but whatever. Food was ok but the me ur is inconsistent in game days. If you order things on the game day menu from the regular menu, it’s full price. There should be an automated link to the discounted price

Went in for the first time and it’s such a cool vibe. Love the roof. Sam was a super cool guy and bartender. The half-priced grilled cheeses were amazing. We will definitely be back! 10/10 would recommend.

Super friendly and welcoming bartender. Great atmosphere, some games in the corner (scrabble, trivial pursuit, maybe 10-15 others) and even some books. Nice back room for private events and a rooftop as well. Didn’t try food but drinks were good and vibes were great!

Service Bar DC is a unique and relaxed spot known for its cocktails and fried chicken. It features an intimate bar-within-bar concept, offering a laid-back atmosphere where you can enjoy expertly crafted drinks and tasty eats. The establishment has gained recognition in the industry, ranking as number 18 in North America among the best bars. Founded by Chad Spangler and Glendon Hartley in 2016, it has become a favorite among both industry professionals and regular patrons.
This is going to be our new go to bar before going to see shows at DC9, The Atlantis, or 930 Club. Drinks here are amazing, the fried chicken is fantastic, and the happy hour deals aren’t bad. We really enjoyed the laid back vibe, and I was a huge fan or the mostly late aughts pop punk music playing in the background at just the right volume. There was a guest bartender there, which I assume is a regular occurrence, so that was fun. Food and drinks came out quickly, but we didn’t feel rushed at all. The waiter was able to make great recommendations as to what drinks we should order, as well. Great place, would go back in a second.
Nathaniel S — Google review
I think the server was having a bad day or had other personal things going on because they were pretty short and were not too helpful when we had questions. The establishment, however, probably had the best chicken tenders I've ever tasted with house made ranch, honey mustard, a Chipotle like sauce, BBQ, and a buffalo sauce. The drinks were pretty decent, but mines had too much ice. The atmosphere was fine and it did the job! I'll definitely be back to give the service another try but also to try out some of their other menu items.

An absolute gem. The welcoming nature coziness, and reasonable prices of a great neighborhood bar combined with a menu full of great cocktails - both solid classics as well as a number of unique creations with great flavors. The food was delicious and the staff was a blast.

Noisy but otherwise incredible. The cocktails are fantastic and well balanced. The fried chicken? Soooo good. Great sides and I'm not usually a Mac n cheese guy. Server took great care of us. Definitely will be back.
Rob L — Google review
Top notch. Chic bar with just enough grunge to know I don't need to be dressed to the nines to sit down for a unique drink one can't find elsewhere. It's not just about nuanced flavors of ingredients like mushroom butter and acorn liquer that seem like they shouldn't go together, but do. It's about presentation and professionalism from highly skilled bartenders who proudly stated they'd worked there for years. A steady stream of regulars flowed in as night set showcasing not only the bar's persistent excellence, but neighborhood coziness. Have you heard of sotol? I hadn't, but it was delicious and smokey with spice added and served on a wooden plate with an herbal popsicle to cool it down. I don't know why the caged bird sings, but I enjoyed my Golden Pheasant, like a creamy, citrus tea, being served in a rustic bird cage. Everything was on point and we'll be back. Christine, you were amazing and your award clearly deserved.

After a work meeting, we decided to go to a bar and came across this spot. We were dressed up but the vibe and music was amazing. A truly “come as you are” experience. Now the drinks… baby 5-stars.

I LOVE THIS BAR! The martini’s are fantastic. The maitake tagliatelle, breathtaking. Christine recommended the pairing. What a gem. Would love to give her more than five stars but unfortunately Google has limited me to just these five.

Came here after a concert & got a couple of drinks (Hurricane & Rose All Day) and some food (10 piece chicken nuggets & crinkle fries). The drinks are a 10/10! Extensive drink menu with tons of creative options. They weren’t overly sweet, which I appreciated. The chicken nuggets were 10/10. Well seasoned and much bigger than I expected. The honey mustard was a little spicy too which was right up my alley. I love crinkle fries so those were amazing, not too salty and very fresh. The service was great. They were packed but we still received our drinks and food quickly. Parking is nearly non existent. This spot is on U Street so you gotta Uber, take the metro, or get parking in a garage somewhere

The Green Zone is a vibrant bar in the Adams Morgan neighborhood that offers creative cocktails with Middle Eastern flavors. The establishment features a smaller but impressive drinks list and is known for its expertly crafted, Middle Eastern-inspired cocktails and an envy-inducing rum selection. In addition to the delightful beverages, patrons can savor dishes such as crispy falafel, creamy hummus, and fresh seafood. The bar promises a high-energy atmosphere and a unique experience that showcases the fusion of traditional classics with innovative twists.
Unique cocktails with a Mediterranean twist. I *loved* the Lebanese no. 1 (citrus, apricot), with a delicious smooth vanilla finish from the cognac. Green Zone gets pretty crowded on the weekend, but it was a breeze to find a spot during a weekday. Patio seating can be reserved, indoor seating is first come first served.

10/10 - food and service are incredible. We stopped in right as they opened at 2 on a Sunday and sat at the bar. Food came out so quickly and was delicious. Highly recommend the eggs with awarma & the Saj mana’ish w zatar + cheese! And get the labnah w zatar and sub for the pita chips!

Great place to hangout after work. Their cocktail menu is so fun and you can't go wrong with any of the choices. We got their spiced wings and fries. For such a simple dish, it's just boosting with flavor. Would definitely come back.

This is an elevated middle eastern bar. Overall the food is delicious. They have snacks and spreads like lamba awarma, muhammara. We got both of these. The awarma is really filling and the muhammara is incredibly unique and has a good kick to it. My favorite though was the Arabic Spiced chicken wings. Could not recommend that enough. The place also serves the best NA cocktails i've had in DC. The Mint Lemonade is a nice cocktail/freeze mix. They do make their alcoholic drinks fairly strong, watch out.

Not kidding. If you are anywhere in DC you must come here. The drinks and food are amazing. Truly unique takes on all of the classics. Staff was friendly, vibe was chill. I will 100% be back. This AC Hotel by Marriott Downtown is a sophisticated hotel in the heart of Downtown Washington DC. The hotel offers sleek, modern rooms with free WiFi and a 24-hour gym. The best part about this hotel is its attentive front desk staff, which include Jazz (Jasmine). She was an impeccable representative of AC Hotels, greeting with a smile and hearing even under her mask!
Had an incredible experience. Everything was great, the rooms are a bit smaller but have everything needed and the bathroom are pretty big. Everyone at the front desk were so hospitable and with a smile. They were short staffed on the weekend and the General Manager was there to support all weekend long! How amazing is that?!. The bar was great, was there even night. Thank you all so much! Keep up the great work!

The room was nice, clean, and quaint. The bar and dining area were really pretty and comfortable - loved the lighting and fun furniture. The elevators were pretty fast, so that’s always nice! The location is walkable and close to shopping, restaurants, and the metro. There’s a convenient store right across the street! My constructive critique is that the staff’s friendliness was inconsistent. Throughout our stay, we passed the front desk many times, seeing many different team members - we were acknowledged only twice, so we didn’t feel welcomed. I’d consider staying here again because of the location and the cleanliness - we’ll see.

This was my third time staying at an AC Marriott — I’ve also been to their Dallas and New York City locations — and they never disappoint. The building has that sleek, modern vibe I love, and as soon as you walk in, everything feels clean, fresh, and just really well kept. The lobby even has that nice, signature scent they all seem to have — subtle but really pleasant. I called the day before asking for early check-in, and they said it would depend on availability. We showed up around 12:30 (check-in is at 4), and they had our room ready, which was a huge plus. The room itself was spotless and super comfortable. We only stayed one night, but everything about the stay was great — friendly staff, easy check-in, clean room, and overall just a smooth experience. Whenever I travel and see an AC Marriott in the area, it’s always my go-to. Highly recommend this location and the brand in general.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable. A special shoutout to Ciara at the front desk—she was so friendly and helpful throughout our visit. She always made sure we had everything we needed and even went out of her way to say goodbye to us at checkout, which made our experience feel extra personal. Excellent service all around. We would definitely recommend staying here again!

I also love the lobby and the happy hour at the bar.

We stayed at the AC hotel Halloween night… It was a late night for us and the next morning we missed breakfast which closed at 11 AM by just a few minutes. We told one of the staff members, SICOY, and he arranged for us to get into the breakfast area and have buffet items which had not yet been broken down from the buffet table. I was also able to toast my gluten-free muffin which I brought. Sicoy was just great, went above and beyond, made sure that we were well taken care of and happy. Front desk staff were professional, kind, and helpful as well. It was a pleasure staying at the hotel!

City Winery Washington DC is a sprawling 10,000-square-foot urban winery and music venue that opened in April 2018. It boasts a full-service winery, year-round rooftop wine garden, and a 320-seat concert hall hosting various live performances. The venue offers more than 20 house-made wines alongside beer and cocktails, complemented by a globally influenced food menu.
We went last night to see Lyfe Jennings and it was great, food too but short staffed but our waiter DJ was very patient even though the chef was super backed up he kept coming to see if we needed anything. But the venue was nice. There is one thing I didn't like though 😕 we got to our table at 6:45pm and we couldn't order food at all, so we had to go downstairs to eat after Lyfe finished singing.

This is such an amazing place. The staff is so customer friendly. There was a problem that was already resolved before I even knew it existed. The staff is personable, professional, and timely. The wine selection is extensive. But the atmosphere, I think takes the cake. Such a beautiful facility. It is intimate and laid out well. The performance tonight was phenomenal. I wish we had a City Winery in Kansas.

We reserved a two person hightop near the bar (there were only two of us and we didn't want to share a table since the pandemic is still a thing). I wasn't sure what to expect, but there wasn't a ton of bar traffic to bother us and we had a great view and breathing room. We weren't too far back at all. I was really happy with our spot. The drinks we got were STRONG but good. As soon as we went to order food, the kitchen "turned the food off" to catch up with orders. We had planned to eat before the show and sip our drinks while watching but ended up having to wait until well into the show to order, which was a little annoying. I totally understand why they did it, but I think I'd rather have ordered and then waited ages (though that's just me). Also, we'd looked at the menu online before going only to find out the menu was different when we actually got there. We were super looking forward to a s'mores dessert but instead they had a strawberry one, so just keep an eye out for that! That being said, our server was great and let us know the second food came back up (this would have been a 4 star review if service hadn't been absolutely perfect, and honestly everyone working looked like they were having fun, which was awesome and a great atmosphere). And once we did get the food, it was pretty good. We tried a seasonal salad, the parmesan fries, and the chocolate dessert mousse. Everything was fresh and delicious and the concert ended up being just a super chill and enjoyable experience. I'd totally go back for another concert and do the hightop table again, we had a great night and a lot of fun (once I wasn't hangry anymore).

Nice David Hollister concert. Waistrees came to our table after we ordered to explain how to order. Not a great place for a concert especially since we were packed together with no elbow room. My friend thought we paid for a specific table but we were later moved somewhere else. I think if a person is expecting to sit somewhere specific it should be honored and not moved at company's discretion. Wings were ok. Mushrooms were spectacular. Had a daiquiri listed on online ordering but doesn't make anymore. The spritz with the titos vodka was really good. The ketel drink was good too.

First time here. I remember when this space was a club! I went to see Arrested Development. The service started off excellent. My server explained that I should put the card on top of the bottle when I wanted her to return. I did as she said but 30 mins passed and she never came back. I took it down as I was no longer interested. The layout of the tables is interesting. Now that I've seen it in person I will have a better idea of choosing a seat.

The Almost Ladies Night was ok. The preshow was fun. The DJ and her co-host were funny and very entertaining. The massages by Hands in Motion were amazing! Thanks to Darrel and Gabby for that. The food was hit or miss. We order the duck tacos, crab cakes, brussel sprouts, mushroom goat cheese risotto balls, and cauliflower. For dessert we had the dark chocolate mousse and the s'mores lava cake. Drinks we had the two of a kind and something else. There were a few things that I really liked....the Crab cakes were awesome with no filler but they could have kept the corn salsa that comes with it . The cauliflower was spicy and crispy. They were very good. The risotto balls were really good as well. My best friend said the duck tacos were flavorful but the brussel sprouts were lacking flavor.

Attended two separate events, most recently for the Bilal concert. I really enjoy this winery/venue, but being brutally honest, I do not enjoy the food here. I’ve ordered the duck tacos and kale salad and both times, the meals left a lot to be desired. However, the atmosphere is inviting and the bartender by the name, Jewels is great. I would definitely recommend City Winery for a night out in the city.

Loved seeing and listening to the Chuck Brown Band at City Winery, Washington, DC! The ambiance was amazing. They did get our orders mixed up and never brought out half of the food but the music and vibe was so good that I won't take off but one star. We'll give them another shot to get it right as we want to go back for other artists. But they do really need to get the food orders straight. The show ended and some people in our party was never served.

Beer garden
Bar
Dacha Beer Garden (Navy Yard) is a trendy spot that offers elevated American comfort cuisine in an airy and stylish setting. The venue includes a dog-friendly beer garden, making it a great place for pet owners to enjoy some time out. The establishment, also known as The New Dacha, opened in 2019 after three years of planning. It features a spacious beer garden within a private park and a 150-seat full-service restaurant with a craft-cocktails bar and lounge area.
Came here with my parents before dinner for some light snacks and a beer for Dad. I am a non-drinker and enjoyed the mocktail sangria with some light appetizers. The seating is all bench style outdoor tables that allowed us to enjoy the lovely weather while seated. It is a nice open set up near the water and can get very lively, very quickly! There were many groups of families, friends, and some dogs all hanging out and enjoying the afternoon. It can get a bit loud and busy, but the open air set up helps diffuse noise.

We came here for a drink and and appetizer. We decided to get the giant pretzel because we are pretzel people. Not only was the pretzel $17!!!! But it was stale, the mustard sucked, and the cheese had a weird taco taste. My dog wouldn’t even eat the pretzel. Atmosphere is nice though. Good beer and wine/cocktail selection

Overall, the beer and food were average. The restaurant is right next to the national stadium so it’s pretty convenient to have a few bites and drinks to eat before the game. While at the restaurant, you can scan a QR code and order so it’s a pretty seamless process.

Expensive! $21 for a two-patty burger is nuts. But, it was delicious. And high quality beer at $9 a pint is not a bad deal. For the environment and experience, I loved it! The price hurt my wallet though 😅
Isaac A — Google review
Lovely place on the river, friendly people, Oktoberfest, trees, and nice feel. Happy Hour is $5 beers and &10 huge beers in a lovely glass boot! Also $10 burger and fries in happy hour too. Only downside is the price normally - but everywhere is like that around here. I.e. 21 dollars for a burger and fries is quite a lot but again I'm used to non big city american prices. 12 dollars for a burger and chips isn't too bad, I guess! If it were like that in a vacuum, then the gripe would be warranted, but it isn't. Overall such a nice place to sit
Kit — Google review
Pretty neat place. Visited for the first time before a Nationals game. I can't imagine when the seating is full that the one food truck can keep up with the amount of people in there.

First time at Oktoberfest Beer Garden in DC and it was a blast! The beer list has lots of options to choose from (highly recommend the Festbier). It was packed and really loud especially with the woman shouting on the mic, but still a fun vibe overall. Shoutout to Andrea for keeping everything smooth and making sure we were well taken care of. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.
Amanda C — Google review
Man this place could be so great, but it falls short. Their tap lines are not clean, making all the good German beer they have on tap taste like vinegar. They have a group of eight tvs on one far wall and no real good seats to watch them, instead of spreading them out throughout the area. It’s a very German themed bar… that doesn’t even play German soccer. If they spread the TVs out, got espn+ to play Bundesliga, and kept their beer lines clean, this place would be fantastic!

Brewery
Nestled just a short stroll from the bustling Navy Yard, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant was a beloved spot for beer enthusiasts and casual diners alike. Known for its house-brewed beers, patrons could indulge in unique offerings like the Two Helles Bock, crafted by head brewer Travis Tedrow in collaboration with brewing veteran Allen Young. The brewpub also showcased special selections from other regional locations, making it a haven for craft beer lovers.
The nachos here are delicious, and they are made with wonton chips. The sour cream had a hint of spiciness which added good flavor. The beer glazed wings had a unique flavor, and I would eat it again. The only had part were some of the wings weren't very big. The Asian chicken bites were solid, and I liked the sweet and sour sauce that was on the side. The service was phenomenal, and the waiter made sure we were taken care of.

25 minutes waiting time before server came to take the order. Asked for medium steak. Waited another 30 minutes. Got a very well done piece. Complaint to the waiter. They propose to get new one. Refused. Didnt want to spend 3 hours for dine. Awful place, Awful service in the heart of the capital. Shame

My wife and I are from out of town. We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. While the staff was spread thin, they were very friendly. We both ordered burgers, and they were cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the famous garlic fries and beer. This place has a classy, yet relaxed atmosphere. The architecture seems to be from a historic time. It adds a nice touch to the dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant for any type of dining experience, whether that be happy hour, brunch, or classy dinner.
Jason N — Google review
This is a great place to stop and get a bite to eat or grab a drink. Best beer prices in the city, probably because it is their own beer. Try out their beers with a sampler, then order a bigger one. It is not the best beer or food, but its a safe bet. The pretzel we ordered had way to much salt on it, but its pretty big and good for at least two people. When we walked in the host wasn't there so we stood there for about 5 minutes before a server helped us. I would try and find another place to eat or drink, since this is just another chain, but if you can't decide or just want some apps and beer, or you're staying close by, then it is not a bad choice. For the beer sampler, it is only five bucks, super cheap, but when they bring them out they just place them on the table, next to the beer list, so no fancy presentation and you are not sure if you're actually drinking the beer they said it was, but it is only five bucks. The garlic fries are not a bad choice either, I would not call them legendary, but they are a safe choice.

I told a server that I wanted to show the Great America to my parents not in this way. I really didn't understand why I had to call the server so many times just to make an order after 30 minutes of sitting. The manager seemed to be uncomfortable because she had to apologize. While we were eating what we ordered, suddenly another server came and said 'Here is your Asian chicken'. I said I am Asian but I did not order any Asian chicken. The manager yelled something from afar that the chicken is her treat as an apology. Asian chicken to Asians... is somewhat confusing apology. I translated this to my family and none of us touched the chicken at all. We did not want the chicken. We wanted to see smiles of good American people.

Food was very good, mini brat sliders and blue crab artichoke dip were both very good, service like all the other reviews was dismal. Got refills after done with food. Table was so dark couldn't get good pic of food.

Wild Days is a vibrant rooftop bar located at the top of Eaton DC, offering stunning views of Downtown DC. The space hosts various musical events throughout the week, including DJ sets, jazz performances, live music shows, and stand-up comedy. On weekends, it transforms into a lively dance floor. Guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, local brews, and inventive fare such as an outdoor s'mores experience.
Israa was such an amazing bartender and host. She has such personality and she’s so down to earth. Such a great atmosphere and a great vibe.

Visited Wild Days at the rooftop of The Eaton Hotel. After hours of traveling I just wanted to grab a drink/listen to some good music. The ambiance and vibes were amazing. The service behind the bar was impeccable especially the bartender Aaron. I had a large party with me, many of which had different orders and short patience. He was quick, attentive and hilarious. Made our trip so much better. Thanks to him and the staff at Wild Days we will be back and bringing more friends.
Nicole B — Google review
I really enjoyed the ambiance and the DJ sets. The space is really cozy. And the bartenders were nice and efficient. I did not enjoy the cockroaches though. Pest problems are inevitable in the city, but I saw at least ten the night I went. Two ended up on the table, and one of them crawled on my purse and cup. The humidity was probably a factor, but it was still unpleasant. My shot of espolon was $19, but that seems to be the standard price in DC.
Morgan P — Google review
They had an awesome DJ playing great music. The atmosphere is really laid-back but seating is limited. The drinks are expensive and they didn't stick to the menu price. I got a white wine and it was served in a plastic wine "glass". Disappointing.

Cute place. The downstairs decor is fantastic. As great view of the city and seemed pretty close to things. Most of the parking garages close at 7pm and do not havw 24hr access. I think this is a cool spot and would come back.

Came here for a reservation at 7:30 tried to get food and the waitress told us the kitchen was closed. She offered us a hummus board that we didn’t want but thought was the only option. We see 2 different orders of sandwiches come out and we get who we think is the waiter but is apparently the manager and ask about the kitchen and he says it closes at 10:30. We tell him the waitress told us the kitchen is close and he laughs and doesn’t offer any other options even though is only 10:19. Terrible customer service and lying to staff about the kitchen being closed is completely unacceptable. Do not recommend this business.
Jennifer C — Google review
Why didn’t y’all tell me this place basically turns into a club. I went here for my birthday, which is around Labor Day weekend. I was under the impression this will be a nice, cute, chill place to go and have some drinks while looking over the rooftop while the sunsets….WELL IT WASNT. I arrived on the top rooftop with music blasting. The girl at the door said I was supposed to have a ticket and she was going to have to charge me $15 to get in but she let me slid, SHOUT OUT TO HER! All I see was grinding and people dancing, kissing, touching all up on each other, honestly I was startled to say the least. I stayed for an hour because the DJ was good. This definitely wasn’t my type of scene. Mind you I came alone. I prolly will not be back again. I didn’t see any food being served just drinks.

Irish restaurant
Mattie and Eddie’s Irish Bar and Restaurant, located in Westpost, offers a weekend brunch featuring traditional Irish breakfast items like corned beef hash and oak-smoked salmon salad. The pub serves a full-on bear hug to the cuisine of Ireland with dishes such as upgraded pig-in-a-blanket and cool shrimp salad. Additionally, they offer a Monday night special called 'Am a Sandwich' from 5-9pm, which coincides with game night.
New place with revamped Irish menu. Had lunch there today, we had excellent service by our server Matthew who was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. The food arrived fast. We had Eamonn fish & chips and the M&E burger. The fish was fried to perfection; really loved the crunchy top layer and the assortment of sauces that came with the dish. The burger was juicy and delicious, you can tell that it was made with very good quality lean beef and flavourful spices. If you won't go for alcohol I recommend the Ceremony coffee; perfectly roasted, strong and flavourful without the bitterness. Portions are very good and overall ambience is friendly. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I went for dinner and got an order of fish and chips as well as Shepard pie. The server was very friendly, but didn’t check on us too often. It took almost 45 minutes for the food to come out. The server was apologetic about it, and it wasn’t their fault, but it did seem like a while due to the lack of customers around (probably around 5 in the whole restaurant). The food was fine, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. I am rating that 3 stars because while the food was “ok,” the prices were nearly $30 each, which seemed like a lot for what it was. The fish and chips came with “seven sauce selection.” We thought that was a name for one sauce, but it was literally seven sauces. None of the sauces were labeled. Our server did tell us the names of the sauces but didn’t explicitly point out which was which. We just thought that it was strange to have an entree with literally seven sauces. Might be better to let people choose which ones they want instead of bringing them all out at once. Also would have liked more water refills and wish I had known that their soda came from a can before ordering it. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t good enough to go back. We are locals and think there are better options nearby.
Elizabeth A — Google review
I’ll be honest, this restaurant has never really interested me because its standard Irish fare feels overpriced for what it is. However, I came in for their Monday night “I Am a Sandwich” special from 5-9pm, which also happens at the same time as their game night. I ordered the AKA “AJ” Smash Burger. The old bay onions were not to my personal taste and I probably should have asked for them on the side, but the rest of the burger was fantastic! I don’t typically enjoy old bay, so I don’t think I was the target audience. The combination of crab dip, soft bread, crunchy lettuce, and flavorful burger was fantastic. I hope this pop up will stay long enough that I can come back to try another one of the options! My 4 star review reflects the fact that I’ve only had pop up food, so I can’t vouch for the overall quality of regular menu food.
CJ — Google review
For being brand new they knocked it out of the park from the start. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, great menu, and decently priced beer. They have an excellent sausage roll (sausage made in house!) not pictured because we ate it too fast, the fish and chips were amazing and battered to perfection, and the burger (topped with the egg) was also great! I will be more than happy to go back again.
Lily V — Google review
First time here since it changed ownership. Still a very nice Irish Pub atmosphere. The menu is limited but the food was good. Our servers were very friendly and professional. Priced in line with any of the places in that area. My only real complaint is how dark the lighting was. We literally had to use the flashlight on my cell phone to be able to read the menu.

Irish is as Irish does and this place does Irish. Great selection of Irish beers as well as cool craft beers on draft. Probably won't get the Cheese Fondue & Chips again, but the corned beef sandwich was great. The beef stew was decent. Great ambiance, live music on occasion, and friendly service.

This restaurant is simply fantastic. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great value for your money. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome and well taken care of. It’s a wonderful place to relax, enjoy your favorite meals, and soak in the pleasant atmosphere. Whether you’re a food lover or just looking for a good place to eat, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Nice Irish pub in a nice location. Came in to have have a draft which was money! Atmosphere was nice. Its a low lit pub a place to go for happy hour after a busy day at work or a place to just escape and relax for a moment. My food wasn't disappointing but I just had small bar food. I seen others food that were around me that looked amazing. The Fish and Chips especially. I'll be back for sure
