Nestled in the historic Old Market district, Upstream Brewing Company is a must-visit for beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Established in 1996, this pioneering brewery occupies a charming turn-of-the-century firehouse and boasts an inviting atmosphere with both indoor seating and a unique rooftop patio that offers stunning views of downtown Omaha. Guests can savor handcrafted beers brewed on-site, including their classic pale ale and innovative options like the Eternity IPA.
Cool environment, good beer selection and drinks. Old firehouse definitely worth stopping in. Standard pub style food with vegan options. They make their own bread, which is unique.

Very cute place downtown. Beer was good. Love being able to get a flight to sample multiple brews. Our party was disappointed that there wasn’t a “sour” beer. I was happy with the beers I sampled. Food was just okay. Tomato basil soup was 5 stars, but the spinach artichoke dip was only two stars due to being mostly melted butter. The adult grilled cheese was okay - the inclusion of apple butter onto the sandwich is great in theory, but I feel there was too much on the sandwich overpowering the cheese and bread.

When they’re on a date recently and was pleasantly impressed. We have been at this place before we sat inside. Their selection of regular food was nothing special to me. However, this time around when we went, we had an outside patio seating, which was very pleasant and very nice. It allowed us to observe Omaha. It allowed us to enjoy that outside perspective. The food was good this time around we ordered appetizers chicken wings were absolutely great. The sauce was not just splattered on the wings, and they seem like they were actually marinated in the buffalo sauce which added to the flavor tremendously. We also ordered fish and chips and after having Gordon Ramsay‘s fish and chips, I was not expecting a whole lot from that. not because it’s not a name brand food or so but mainly because a lot of places in the United States are a hit or miss more miss with the fish and chips than hit. Well, I can say that upstream brewing company knows how to do their fish and chips and they were hands-down absolutely delicious. We would come back here for specifically that meal again.. There are seasonal brews and beers were great. We enjoyed every ounce that. I highly recommend this place.
Alexander K — Google review
A good selection of some very good beers--I especially liked the Dundee Scottish Ale. The brewery is in an old 2 story brick building with tons of character and comfortable seating. The second floor has pool and game tables in a large open bar area. There is a large selection of food options from appetizers to sandwiches to entrees. The burgers and fries were very good, The Rueben, although tasty, was served on some very thick, hard bread. I ended up eating the meat and sauerkraut, but left most of the bread on the plate. Service was good and the food came out very quickly. After we settled the bill, we felt rushed by the waitstaff although a few of us were still talking as we finished our drinks. There were plenty of empty tables and no line of people waiting to be seated. Sometimes it nice to sit and finish your drinks without pressure to leave.

I visited Upstream Brewing on the last night of a business trip and chose to sit at the bar. I ordered a Saison Botanique, which had a delightful saison bite with strong floral notes—I was thoroughly impressed. After sampling a few of their other beers, I returned to the Saison Botanique to pair with my dinner. For my meal, I chose the salmon burger with fries. The salmon burger was good but not exceptional, as it felt somewhat dry, though I still enjoyed it. The fries, however, were outstanding, with a perfect crunch and excellent preparation. The service during the meal was adequate but not remarkable, much like the salmon burger. Overall, the Saison Botanique and fries were the highlights of the experience, while everything else met my expectations. I would gladly return on my next trip to Omaha. Rounding up from a 4.5 to a 5 since it’s a brewery and the beer was delicious.
Javi C — Google review
The burgers are nothing great. We sat outside, where there are plenty of bugs smaller than the black specks in the ranch, which was quite excellent actually. The bugs bite. This grew especially tiresome while we waited 10 minutes in the wind after paying to get our cards back. This was my first time in the Omaha Old Market, but I’m sure there’s better food around.
Brooke — Google review
Went on a Saturday afternoon to eat and watch husker game. Our waitress Lizzy was totally amazing!!! Attentive but not over attentive, let us watch the entire and continued to provide service. Food was very good and the smells of fresh baked bread were great ...so my party said...I was unable to smell it. Absolutely would recommend this place and if you get Lizzy as your server you will not be disappointed!

Just stopped in for a drink. Despite being fairly busy, I got great service and bartenders were on top of everything. Good selection of beers. Food menu looked great too, but I'd just eaten elsewhere.

Scriptown Brewing Company is a classic microbrewery located in Omaha's Blackstone District, offering a rustic taproom experience. The brewery focuses on traditional beer styles while also showcasing their talent for experimentation with unique blends like the Czech dark beer, homey lager with coriander, and Hazy Daisy New England IPA. They are known for successful partnerships with other local businesses, providing Noli's pizza deals and featuring Kathmandu Momo Station.
We recently had my daughter's baby shower at Scriptown and I cannot say enough good things about our experience! John and his staff were amazing to work with. They were very accommodating and even asked if they could help us carry in items from the car! I would highly recommend Scriptown Brewing Company to anyone looking for a venue!

Casual brewery celebrating their 10th year. Located in Blackstone neighborhood on Omaha. Had a flight and favorite was the Honey Lager. Lazy Buffalo BBQ located next door with a walk through passage. Order there and food delivered inside the brewery.
Amy T — Google review
I went here with some friends, as we’re in Omaha for the summer, and had a great time. Good selection of beers, especially St. Meinrad’s, but above all, John and Debbie are super friendly and personable. Good values here and good times. Will be coming back here again!
Aidan M — Google review
We recently had our wedding rehearsal dinner in the Kaufmann Room and it was great!! Scriptown’s team is very communicative, professional, kind, and did a great job! Not to mention the Kaufmann Room is absolutely stunning. We couldn’t have been happier with having our rehearsal dinner here.
Kayleigh B — Google review
Scriptown is awesome! Super friendly staff with great beers! Enjoyed the Kolsh, Vienna Lager and American Pilsner. Nice selection of to-go beers, as well.
Rocky B — Google review
Building is very cool, nice bar, front of the building opens for an open air vibe, service was average. The beer was just OK. I travel for work and go to brew houses all over the country, but this one had below average beer. I was with co-workers who I travel with, and we all agreed. I wish it was better because I liked the vibe of the room.
Jay T — Google review
This brewery was a treat to find. The beer here is super tasty and the employees are very helpful and kind. We came in for just one beer and ended up grabbing another. The selections on their beer is awesome! I had the Midtown Martian.
Joseph P — Google review
Great atmosphere. The bartender was super friendly. Loved the large bar with seating. The only thing a friend and I recommend doing is chucking the coffee candle in the women's bathroom 😉🤣 didn't smell good and instant headache. But hey, if that's the only downfall..I'd say you are doing great!

Distillery
Brickway Brewery & Distillery, nestled in Omaha's historic Old Market, offers a vibrant tasting room where visitors can savor an impressive selection of craft beers and single-malt whiskies. The brewery prides itself on its handcrafted beers like the Jalapeno Pineapple Pils and Coffee Vanilla Stout, alongside a range of acclaimed spirits including bourbons, rum, gin, and vodka.
Came into the bar about an hour before close and the bartender was super nice. Was kinda bummed out that we just missed the last call for dinner, but the drinks for sure made up for it. The Seasonal Cocktail menu consist of Friends character names, and as a big fan of Friends myself it went along way. Order the Chandler and Monica and they were delicious. Also indulged in the Moonshine and it was really great, strong and had a firm sweetness. Over all the vibes are really great, and would recommend stopping in.
Tati T — Google review
I had a great time at Brickway when I visited them in May 2025. The bartender, Matt, was very friendly and generous with his pours :) I really enjoyed the whisky flight and the Omaha Style IPA. Bonus points for the creative cocktail names - it evoked nostalgia with me remembering my college music playlist! The previous month's cocktails were inspired by the 6 Friends of the eponymous TV show.
Mrinal T — Google review
OK, this is dangerous territory. I’m about to state in a personal opinion, This might be one of the best breweries in the area for downtown Omaha. There are plenty of choices. You be the judge but what a great experience stayed outside but indoor seating is beautiful. they do tours and very unique Beer options and drinks. Also, they have standard nachos with salsa and pretzels for snack snacks
On O — Google review
Love the classic bar/distillery look. Great beers and spirits. For my wife, they have a Tom Collins on the menu. Not many bars have that drink on the menu, let alone can make it correctly.
Doug B — Google review
Highly recommend doing the tour. You get a ton for your $25 ticket... free pint, discount on alcohol, tastings and a really fun time. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable too and she was able to answer all our questions. As someone who's been on several brewery and distillery tours, this one didn't disappoint. Oh, and the product they produce is fantastic as well!
Kayla S — Google review
My daughter and I recently hosted a bridal shower in their back room and it was a wonderful experience. They were super easy to work with and the facility is perfect for that sort of thing. Jess was our bartender and she was super helpful with setting things just the way we wanted and very friendly to all our family and guests. I highly recommend working with this business.

Great beer and whiskey. Love the single malt Brickway whiskey. We did the tour with Kristen. Informative and fun. Outstanding Midwest brewery and distillery!

Great brewery, decent beer selection with a couple from each major type. No real food on site but you can BYO or order from Zio's Pizzaria with free delivery to the taproom.

Kros Strain Brewing is a delightful microbrewery and taproom that embodies the spirit of craft beer culture. Nestled in the historic Millworks Commons near downtown Omaha, this inviting space offers a rotating selection of housemade beers, ensuring there's always something new to try. Founded by friends Bobby Kros and Scott Strain, their passion for brewing has led to innovative recipes alongside beloved classics.
This place is awesome. The interior is so cool with many fun things to look at and awesome merch. The beer tender was super nice as well. The beer was delicious and always love a beer slush or option as well. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and like craft beer.
Sarah J — Google review
Kros Strain Brewing is easily one of my all-time favorite breweries — not just in Omaha, but in the entire state of Nebraska. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual beer or planning a small gathering like a birthday party, this place has the space and the vibe to make it work. The taproom is spacious and inviting, and the outdoor patio is a real highlight, offering a variety of seating options — picnic tables, standard tables and chairs, and even cozy spots around a fire pit. There’s no table service here, which keeps things relaxed — just head up to the bar when you’re ready, and the staff is always friendly, quick, and happy to offer a sample or two if you’re unsure what to order. If you’re looking to try a few things, I highly recommend going with a flight. Their beer selection is strong across the board, but Fairy Nectar is my personal favorite — it’s one of the best IPAs in the region and is widely available across eastern Nebraska. You’ll also find a well-stocked cooler for to-go cans, and they even offer kegs in various sizes for home events. Beyond the beer, Kros Strain has a great merch selection — shirts, glassware, stickers, even tap handles and branded signs. The restrooms are clean, and there’s typically a food truck parked out front, plus you’re welcome to bring in outside food. They even offer beer slushies, which are a fun twist on warm days. Overall, Kros Strain delivers a top-notch experience every single time — highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!
Ovfdfireman — Google review
We held our reception at Kros Strain in May and loved the experience! Kros Strain is one of our favorite breweries and we thought there was no better place to celebrate with friends and family. The space is flexible and accommodating to large groups, and allowed us to bring in catering. The staff was incredible! Tina was great to work with throughout the planning process! She made everything easy and stress free.
Whitney D — Google review
This is one of my favorites! They have awesome brews and the food trucks are good too! Plus you can take the puppers with and enjoy sitting by the fire on the patio!
Erin M — Google review
Came here on a Saturday at noon because my daughter, friend and I were getting pedis across the street at 1 and we wanted lunch. The rotating food trucks is fun. Burning Bridges was the food truck at that time. I ordered a burger and my daughter and friend got fried the fried chicken sandwiches. Burger was good. The fried chicken sandwiches were humongous! Neither of them could finish. And I don't like waffle fries usually because they are never crispy, but he managed crispy waffle fries! Bartender recommended two different beers and both were good. They do live music and brewery tours. Will totally be back!!
Mrs B — Google review
Was visiting from the east coast and this is one of several breweries I visited. The beer here is tasty. The ferme foeder saison tasted like pickles, not my favorite. The barrel aged Octoberfest was great. The orange tangerine crush sour tasted like the soda but more tart. The sippy cup lager tastes like your standard domestic beer - nothing special. The double hopped fairy nectar was my favorite. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Some snacks here but there was a food truck outside. Decor is interesting and fun.
Jesse P — Google review
Professional bar staff. Not overly chatty with us. Pro tip: no food here!! But they are cool if you order and get it delivered. So if you're hungry you might want to order a little earlier and time it. They were nice enough to let me get a shot of the beer pour when I asked. The flagship flight was great. $10.75 for 5 (4oz) pours. You get to choose 2 while the other 3 are static. My friend loved the place and wants to come back. He also likes the merchandise. They have some interesting offerings including a lot of their bar glasses for sale, shirts, hats and even dog treats made from the leftover grain. Parking is available in a large lot.
Wai C — Google review
I went into the downtown location . I guess they close at 10. Plenty of people in there. We were told he would serve us if we could drink our beer in five minutes. Seemed odd. Thanks but no thanks

Located in the charming Historic Benson Neighborhood, Infusion Brewing Company is housed in a beautifully restored 1917 Olson's Meat Market. The brewery offers a selection of seven signature brews, with their famous Vanilla Bean Blonde being a standout favorite among patrons. The taproom exudes a welcoming atmosphere and features an array of delectable beers to enjoy with friends.
This brewery is best for true average beer drinkers who want the taste of classic beers as well as inventive and creative beers. They have been brewing since 2012. Also, they stick to the tradition of having special events and price discounts, where many places merely charge the rack rate and provide nothing else. The staff is always friendly. Parking is free and newly paved. Breadsticks, pizza, and other items are offered, including local THC drinks. This place may be a bit out of your way as it is in a more secluded development, but worth the travel.
Andrew S — Google review
Great place, nice selection of beers (14), very good overall. Service was outstanding, they were giving out free pizza, I think they want people to try it, it was good. Indoor and outdoor seating; I'll be back. 🍻

So, I finally decided to infuse my life with some hops and barley at Infusion Brewing, and let me tell you, it was a brew-tiful experience! Devon, our beer guide extraordinaire, was very accommodating. Infusion Brewing is a great spot to chill, sip, and maybe even lick your way through a good time.
J C — Google review
Ordered a flight and was happy with the variety - pretty decent beer. Negative for me...the bar and tables were extremely sticky and the bathroom needed a good cleaning.
Amy S — Google review
Friendly staff! Dogs used to be allowed inside until pizza oven got installed. The girls and I love spending time on the patio.
BishopK — Google review
Friendly staff and good beers make this a nice place to go. The ambiance is pretty generic. Servers were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. There is a small parking area to the side of the building, but we ended up parking across the street. There's nothing negative to say about them so... 5 🌟 I tried 2 beers. One was not to me liking but I'm also not a big beer drinker. My friends who I went with enjoy your place a lot.

We did Bingo night with the Grinch yesterday and had a great time! Excellent selection of beers!
Daydreanne L — Google review
Love the feel in their taproom, and they have a lot of great tasting beer. This is a great place to grab a few beers with friends. Vanilla Bean Blonde is one of the best, drinkable beers I have ever had, and their Dominican Republic Brown is very flavorful and unique. My husband loves the Joel Porter, one of his favorite beers of all time.

The Benson Brewery is a cozy microbrewery nestled in the heart of Benson, offering a laid-back atmosphere and vegan-friendly American cuisine. With an array of house-brewed beers, including limited edition series like the Mexican lager Luz Dvida and mainstays such as the light-bodied Blonde Bunny, there's something to suit every palate. Whether you're sipping on a crisp Weisse or indulging in a creamy stout, their small-batch and seasonal taps promise variety.
The pretzels are so good and the dips are even better. Save the mustard and cheese to dip your fries in! There are good vegan and vegetarian options and there’s even a vegan item discount on Wednesdays! Our server Becca was great!

Been here a few times and I feel like it’s so underrated! We’ve loved all of our beers here! They have the best happy hour around and one of the best beer gardens we’ve been to in Omaha! Just tried their pretzel sticks and fries for the first time and they were also great! Also, every time we come here, we have the best service with the nicest bartenders and servers! Can’t wait to come back!
Megan K — Google review
Been here twice now during their trivia night. Have wanted to try a few items on the menu, but so far just appetizers. Had the pretzel sticks w assorted mustard and beer cheese, totally worthy. Also tried a side of their fries, good, did the job. Last one I recently tried was their Baked Mac & Cheese. The pic has hot sauce on it, think Sriracha. It was okay, not amazing, but good enough for most people. Both times sat at the bar so service was great, dig the place.
Rick S — Google review
Quaint little brewery with some food options. Fish and chips were different than I expected. The batter had some herbs in it that I'm not used from the UK. Nevertheless, still tasted good. The beer options are amazing and everything is brewed in house. Would recommend for a night out.
Sonja M — Google review
We came for restaurant week back to the Benson Brewery and had a wonderful meal with crispy cauliflower on a bed of salad and marinated onions. Then we had a flank steak both vegan and real meat on a bed of sweet potatoes and charred broccolini. We finished the meal with a vegan chocolate mousse with fresh raspberries and candied walnuts. We chose a flight of different beers to go with our courses and all of them were delicious. We enjoyed this dining experience very much!
Don H — Google review
I've been told this place had the best pretzels in town and it didn't disappoint. :) the cheese sauce was divine. I love the poutine too. So much yum. My date ordered a flight of beers and while I'm not a beer drinker myself, i did sip a few and some were actually quite palatable.
Lyd H — Google review
I've been here 6 times-ish. Time for review. One of the best places in Omaha to grab dinner. Poutine fries a must. As a connoisseur of reubens, I rank it at number 4 in omaha. Thick cut meat can leave it a bit chewy in places. Everything else we've ever eaten or drank here is fantastic. Model your business after this for success. Excellent wait/bar staff. Busy times can produce a wait for food, but will be worth it.

My favorite food in Omaha. The seitan wings with the IPA mustard sauce are the best! The fries and seitan gyro are great. Amazing happy hour all day on Sundays.

Just had a company event here. All employees loved it! The staff was so great to work with and made our event run so smoothly. Kim and Judy were communicative and so kind. The guys helping us set up the day of made sure we were all set up and well taken care of. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! 10/10 recommend!

There vendor event was so fun to go to. Lots of vendors with an amazing atmosphere, the brewing tanks in the background and lots of options to pick. I’d recommend going and getting some local food, jewelry, and crafts.

This is a nice place in a nice location. The building is very nice, plenty of room inside, and there is an outdoor area. The service is average. The beers are below average. No food.

Awesome place to hangout, especially the outdoor patio area next to the parking lot. It's a taproom located in an industrial area but there is a big "Nebraska Brewing Company" orange, green, and yellow sign that you can see while driving on 108th street so you can't miss it. I tried the Plum Up the Jam which was a very good Shandy.

Good tap selection and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. No food truck on Friday night, so a bit slow overall. Lots of pinball available and I saw a pool table too. Interested in a night with food options to see if it picks up

Came here for a brewery tour. Had a very pleasant experience. Our tour guide was very sweet and she explained everything really well. We were each given a glass of beer at the beginning of the tour and we were also given a complimentary 6 pack at the end of the tour. Would highly recommend this tour for all the beer lovers out there!

Huge selection of in-house brewed craft beers. Choice assistance from helpful servers with samples to help navigate the lineup. Outside snacks and dinners allowed. Food Trucks on-site periodically. Doggie friendly! This is a destination stop or a pop-in before or after other plans.

Updated review: I've upped this to 5 stars. I feel generally they are a very solid place and I was looking forward to my return. Service was very friendly on the subsequent visit. We did the pulled pork sandwich, the burger and the pretzel. Their fries are very good and the portions are generous. I couldn't eat it all but I packed it up for later. I've found some places I haven't wanted to, but I definitely was looking forward to the leftovers. I personally would skip the pretzel because I felt their other food was better. It's not bad of you're in the mood for that, but I wasn't that day. Parking can be problematic, but there was metered parking across the street. There was a limit of an hour though. Children get crayons and a coloring Page. Original We went for cheese everything in the menu when we went. They had a lot of good options. The grilled cheese was fantastic. The beer Mac was more complex in flavor which made it much more enjoyable. They fell a bit flat with the beer cheddar soup though. It was just overly salty. If they had bread to sop it up with to balance the saltines I think it would have been better. It was also the one item that wasn't piping hot and instead, served lukewarm. Perogies were good, though not my favorite.

My visit was great. It was a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The bartender was quick to come out and greet our party after we sat down since the server was busy with other guests. Our Groupon was easy to redeem and went smooth. I stopped in to redeem my groupon and grab a small bite to eat. Had the Zomer Wit and Papio Kriek to drink. They were excellent. I had the Beer cheese soup and House spent grain pretzel. The food was great. A good experience that will for sure have me going back again.

Came here with my mom to try out the passport card. It wasn't very busy, so we got seated right away. The server was really nice and friendly. I ordered the burger of the month (Chicken patty with basil pesto, mozzarella, roasted tomato and balsamic reduction) and my mom got the curry bowl. We both demolished our food. 😁

Nice place if you are a beer lover, the staff is awesome and because it was my first time the waitress let me taste a couple of beers before deciding for myself! They have different kind of beers that are brewed there.. Will definitely go back... Prices are good too

I love that I popped in during their all day Pride celebration! The unique menus for the occasion were great and the food all around us looked delicious. The beers I tried weren’t particularly special or great but the atmosphere, staff, and everyone sitting around were very happy to be there. It was a fun occasion and I’m glad I popped in for a pint. Wish I’d tried the rainbow cake!

Excellent beer, service and food. The beers were full of flavor and well balanced. The burger was very tasty and had all the layers of flavors I was looking for. Their house made ketchup was very good. Currently there is construction near the establishment which limits parking in front. There seems to be parking behind the building.

Super friendly staff. The flavored beers are better than the staples. Strong smell of brewing wart that’s slightly offensive to the nose and stomach. Wouldn’t be first choice but worth venturing on a beer tour.

Pleasantly surprised with this place. By far one of the most visually appealing brewery I’ve seen. Wood permeates the place, from the gorgeously veneered bar to the tables and chairs, this place Bess a sight to behold. The special beer on tap was an apple brandy barrel aged ale - with several other choices to keep you in their chairs. Service was good, the quality is solid, and I’m glad this was first stop in Omaha.

Nestled in the charming Olde Towne Elkhorn, Jukes Ale Works is a delightful brewery and kitchen that embodies the Jukes family's passion for craft beer. This vibrant establishment has transformed a former engine repair shop into a welcoming space where visitors can enjoy 19 unique beers on tap, including their standout Merlin's Cream Ale.
Though it came out looking a bit crushed, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich delivered where it mattered—crunchy in the right places, spicy in all the right spots, and juicy, maybe even too juicy. It was dripping when I picked it up, which might have been a good thing. The menu warned about the spice level, but it wasn’t very spicy for me. Overall, I’d rate it 4.5/5. The beer cheese soup was delicious—creamy, cheesy, and perfectly salted, served at just the right temperature. Definitely a 5/5. I sat at the bar and had a beer. The bartender knew his stuff, describing beers well and making good recommendations. Since I was at the bar, he also served me food, though he didn’t offer any food recommendations, which could’ve paired nicely with my drink. Still, he was attentive, and everything came out quickly. I’d give the service a 4.5/5. The whole neighborhood has a great vibe, and Jukes fits right in. The place was buzzing with energy and just about everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Vibe: 5/5. If you’re looking for a great vibe, good beer, and yummy food, check it out.

Great food and fantastic beer, wide variety to choose from including barrel aged stouts, old ales, and barleywines! Unfortunately we were informed it would be 1-1.5 hours for a table because 6 people just checked in online and there weren't any tables available even though people were leaving. You should always take care of the customer in person before answering online table requests in my opinion. But will continue go back and enjoy this gem

Super cool place. Only seating open at the time was the roof top which makes the place! Love the area and was great weather for the covered roof top. Had to try the slated caramel wings from other reviews and they were shockingly good (flavor on wings sounded different). Peanut burger was tasty and their house tots are little mini McDonald’s patties and so good.

As a native of Elkhorn, but one who lives abroad, I have so long wanted to go to Jukes Ale Works. In a word: awesome. The premises, the service, the food and, of course, the beer, are all top notch. For those of us who grew up in Elkhorn — a very wonderful and special place — it is so heartening to see the love and care that went into the place. It shows and it is clearly a big hit, as there were loads of people (but not overly crowded from an enjoyment point of view). Today was hot so the upper and lower levels had a lot of people in air conditioned comfort; on the balcony we enjoyed the breeze and the setting sun. Marvelous. Highly recommend the Pilsner and Munich dark beer. Combine them with the salted caramel wings and chili cheese fries and you will be in heaven. I enjoyed it so much that I only took photos once it had closed. Well done, Terry and Guy! ❤️

Great atmosphere! We ate on the upper level. There is outdoor seating, but the heat kept us inside. The waitress was very helpful. Great attention to detail in the bathroom, and there was a foot door pull.

First and foremost, bacon jam is Gods gift to hamburgers! The bacon jam burger was great and I had the beer cheese soup for a side (would love a pretzel for that!) Food, excellent. Service a little slow but the servers were great... problem = not enough servers. Pretty loud inside and nothing great for "atmosphere", wish we day on roof. Beer good but need more options. Will be back.

We came in on a Tuesday night with a party of 17! The space is rather small, but the waitress and other employees were more than happy to accommodate my family. We were visiting from out of state and had the opportunity to gather and chose Jukes. Cheese curds were great too!!! Get them for an appetizer! Service was fast and friendly. Food was excellent!! We LOVED the tater tots. They were so good and I highly recommend them! I ordered the chicken wrap. It was just ok. But between all 17 of us, we all had something different. Everyone was pleased with their food. I would LOVE to see a small town Nebraska restaurant have freshly made beef Pattie’s in house for their burgers. I would have ordered one but was told they are brought in frozen. Beer selection was great and many in the party had a drink and were happy with their choices! The waitress also had great suggestions for a person’s taste. Great experience. So grateful they were able to accommodate our large family and we will be back on our next visit! Parking is limited. Didn’t bother us to walk from down the street. Kid friendly. Great for a date night spot.

Mike, at the bar, excels in personality and beverage suggestions and Brianna was an excellent server! Jake's food was amazing and Brad, the manager, made sure our experience was great! Shout out to Katelyn and Alexa for helping everyone when it got busy. We will definitely be back! The host, Brett, should be fired immediately, though. Was rude to my Wife when we arrived and we almost decided to leave before Mike jumped in to save the day. Thanks again, Mike!

Beer selections was really good, the service was kind of ok, and the ambiance a little depressing, but that could be because we were the only people here. The beer is very well priced and I think more people should definitely check it out more.

I stopped by Site-1 Brewing thanks to PubPass, and wow—what an awesome surprise! This place totally exceeded my expectations. The vibe was spot-on: stylish but relaxed, with plenty of space and good energy. They’ve got it all—beer, food, and cocktails—so there’s something for everyone. The bartender was super friendly, helpful, and let me try several beer samples, which made the whole experience even better. I ended up loving their Crushin’ Dingers—a smooth, slightly fruity blonde/golden ale that instantly became a favorite. Easy to drink but still full of flavor. I also tried their barleywine that’s aged in a 10-year Templeton Rye barrel. Strong stuff with high ABV, but packed with complex flavor—definitely one for sipping and savoring. Overall, this is an absolute gem of a brewery in Omaha. Great beer, awesome service, and a cool space to hang out. I’ll definitely be coming back every time I’m in town.

The beer selection is spot on! We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and shared 2 pizzas and the Pretzels with beer cheese. Everything was delicious 😋 also loved the chill vibe, we ended up playing card games for a while even after we finished eating.

I went on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 7 and we tried nearly every beer by getting flights. I believe these to be the best beers in the Omaha area. Every one I tried I would order again. The pizza is really good. Not sure I've ever had Detroit style pizza but theirs is outstanding. This is my new favorite for beer and pizza.

August 2025: Visiting Omaha for work and searched near my hotel for a brewery. Decided to visit Site -1 because they also had food! Tried a taster flight of: star burst, West Coast Dreamin', Oats N Hose, and Leicht Speed. Beers were good. I rated each between 3.75 to 4 ⭐ on untappd. I ate their club sandwich and it went well with the beer 🍺. There was a live singer performing covers. Was a nice chill place to hang out. Service was friendly. Would definitely come back again.

We have tried this place multiple times. Today we were run out of our seats for a climate change expo - literally had to make way and leave as our business apparently wasn’t needed. Most of the attendees brought in their own waters and clearly weren’t going to be purchasing anything. It’s too bad because the pizza was excellent. Contacted management and there were no apologies. Very disappointed as we always thought this brewery would be worth it one day. Don’t be surprised by the vacancy signs.
Michael A — Google review
Very fun place and delicious beer. Our bartender was very good and gave us great advice about the area, and even a few other breweries. All we’re on point. I would defiantly recommend a stop by this brewery for not only some great beer but also some pretty amazing and well thought out cocktails.

Lazlo's Brewery & Grill in Omaha is a delightful brewpub that perfectly blends American comfort food with a relaxed atmosphere. Established in 2007, this gem has evolved from humble beginnings into a beloved dining destination, known for its creative dishes and seasonal beers crafted from premium ingredients. The menu features everything from juicy Angus burgers to unique kid-friendly options like sirloin and shrimp, making it an ideal spot for families celebrating special occasions.
After a 4 hour drive, this place sounded like a good place to stop for lunch... We were not disappointed! Great food selection and great drink selection. Of course I had to try out one of their IPAs, so I ordered a Watch Man. Very good, had to buy a 6 pack to go! I ordered a spicy chicken buffalo sandwich, she ordered a chicken buffalo wrap. Both were tasty and I have to say, it was one of the juiciest pieces of chicken I've had eating out. (Most over cook) The portion were good sized and...I can't say enough about our server, Madison. She was helpful, prompt, attentive, and so cheerful. Every time she came to the table, it was with a big smile. She was great.

Courteous and prompt seating. Our waiter was efficient and professional. The wine selection is good quality. Many tasty beers and cocktails as well. All of us found our meals to be really good. The environment allowed us to visit with ease. I had the Napa chicken. It was very tasty. I’ll definitely go back.

Great time at Lazlo's tonight. The food was delicious and the service was great and attentive. Very good variety on the menu. The booth was quiet and cozy, a good place for visiting . The cheesecake dessert was scrumptious. Plenty of parking and easy access.

Takeout Staff & Manager: please please for the love of God don’t do this. (Picture) I know you have to use your bare hands often as you handle cash and cards transactions etc I’m asking to please don’t place the side dishes inside my clean food. This extra side dishes, items need to be left outside, bag separately and not shoved inside people’s food. Food is bad. Enchiladas hardly have any sauce and the stuffing of enchiladas meat isn’t cut just huge pieces of meat. Ribs don’t fall off the bone and they are over cooked. Green beans were cold. But you guys have to retrain your kitchen staff so the food goes out as it should. I dripped a small piece of rice on the floor by accident and my dog didn’t even care to eat it as he would when I drop food. Sad food.

This place has tanked! It would appear the proverbial writing is on the wall for what was once an up-and-coming brew pub whose sister concept began in Lincoln and expanded into Omaha. At one point these establishments were the pinnacle of service; now, just consider yourself an inconvenience… My family of 4 (Wife, two kids, and I) walked in about 6:40 PM tonight. The hostesses were absent, but then one came around the corner whilst chewing a bite of food to greet us. Despise the restaurant being more than 60% empty (I’ll concede it is a Monday night) we were told it would be 5-10 minutes for a table. We were provided 4 adult menus, and had to ask for kids’ menus (my kids are quite obviously young enough not to be eating adult meals). This set the server off for the remainder of the meal. Orders were straight forward, with exception of the cup of beer cheese soup ‘out first’ that never came out at all, and the order of fries that didn’t get dropped until after it came up missing with the delivery of our other food. The 25 minute wait for some of our food felt like a long time. The server was pleasant, apologetic and offered to bring the soup out anyway, free of charge. I declined. The food had obviously been oddly plated judging by the ‘skin’ that had formed on the sauces and room temperature beans and mashed potatoes. I can also say with confidence, that their fryer was not up to temp owing to the ‘ultra-soft-fried’ chicken fried chicken and the Ore Ida french fries that are totally different than what is supposed to be served (see photo)—their fries used to be a family favorite. When we asked if there had been a permanent product change, first we were told they were the same, and when the server realized we knew that they were, in fact different, owned up to having run out of their normal product. They were kind enough to remove the undercooked substitutions from our bill. The kids’ med-well burger was hard and grey, and was plated with the same flaccid, unseasoned fries. Servers were stuck bussing the 10 or so tables it seemed that they each had while the two hostesses and to-go person hung out obliviously loafing around empty-handed and directionless. There was no sign of any management during our $70.00, 75-minute dining experience. Honorable mention to the dirty ‘clean’ plates on the table setting I noticed on the way out. Finally, as much as I’d like to say this was the one and only poor experience I’ve had here…unfortunately this is the third or fourth of this caliber and we will not be going back. The establishment is wholly mismanaged. Take your hard earned money and your hungry family somewhere else.
Ryan H — Google review
I had the Mediterranean Lavosh and it was excellent and big enough for a meal and a half. The environment was really nice as well and they had nice music playing. Good ambiance and friendly service!

My first time at this Lazlo’s location for lunch and I ordered the steak salad. It was a huge disappointment. Small in size , only some leaf lettuce, chopped onion and the bacon was raw in places and under cooked. The small piece of steak was stringy and tough. I would NOT recommend! The service was inattentive, had to flag down another server to ask our to come by to refill iced tea and waters.

Crescent Moon is a popular tavern in Omaha, known for its wide selection of top beers from around the world and pub fare. The tavern is famous for serving one of the best versions of the Reuben sandwich in the city, which is said to have been invented right across the street at the Cottonwood Hotel.
Love this spot! Crescent Moon has such a great vibe—laid-back, welcoming, and full of character. The food is always solid (highly recommend the Reuben), and they’ve got a great selection of local brews on tap that makes it easy to try something new each time. Whether you’re hanging with friends or just want a chill place to grab a bite and a beer, this place hits the mark. Definitely one of my go-to favorites in Omaha. This post was made in connection with a toast promotion.

Decided to try this place for the history aspect. Seems like a chill sports bar with a wide tap selection. The Reuben: very saucy, loaded with meat and kraut. Overall it was good, but I had some textural issues with the way the beef was cut. I guess I've never had cubed beef on a sandwich, and now I know why. Certainly takes away from the experience. Chips and salsa as a side were as good as chips and salsa from a sports bar can be. Fries were crispy, well seasoned, and plentiful. This place was exactly what I needed it to be, and it was worth the try for the history-adjacent aspect.

One of the best Reuben sandwiches my wife and I have had in the last few years. As legend has it, the Reuben was created at a poker game in Omaha’s Blackstone Hotel. Reuben Kulakofsky was one of the group of poker players and came up with it and Crescent Moon follows the original recipe. Crescent Moon has a friendly staff and great dine-in atmosphere. Pay for parking is available a block behind the restaurant as well as limited free street parking.

Visited on a work trip. Recommended by the bartender at our hotel for their wings. They are supposedly the originator of the a Reuben Sandwich sonI had to try it. The sandwich was good. I got the wings as well but they didn't taste great. They were definitely the wrong flavor but I didn't feel like switching them in addition to being charged extra ranch when I didn't ask for extra ranch or was even given extra. I received on small container of it.

A friend and I stayed at the hotel across the street and wanted some late night apps and drinks. We loved the drinks, the bartender put his own spin on drinks based on our tastes. The food came out quickly and was delicious, portions were great to share. My dad ended up meeting up and also helped us eat the apps. My only complaint or even observation was the bartender was great but the doorman just seemed to “bark” orders at the bartender. It was weird. Other than that our experience was 10/10.

At first, you’re going to think this is just some little dive bar, but that is not the vibe that hit you when you walk in. There were a lot of families in there, as well as locals who are just grabbing a beer after work. However, like us, there were many people there to try the Reuben sandwich. I don’t even like Reuben sandwiches, and this one was off-the-charts delicious. I will definitely eat here again when I return to Omaha. Our server was one of the nicest gals I’ve ever encountered. She told me all about the history of the place end of the sandwich. The bathrooms need some work as far as cleanliness, but that’s the only imperfection about the place.

Beercade in Benson is a popular spot for friends to gather, offering a rotating craft beer menu and classic arcade games and pinball machines. The bar's Moms Basement area opens on Friday and Saturday nights, featuring even more games. It's known for fostering a nostalgic atmosphere where visitors can relive their 80s kid dreams while enjoying a beer. Downstairs offers unlimited play on old school arcade games, while upstairs allows playing by paying per game.
Cool little spot for video games. An emphasis on fighting games and pinball, but there is a variety of probably 25 or 30 cabinets and pinball tables total, including NBA Jam, NFL Blitz 99, and skeeball. Large tap collection of craft beers, with two full-service bars (the arcade is attached to a pub with darts and a few sports game cabinets.) The staff was pleasant, prompt and easy to chat with. The drinks were reasonably priced, and most games are $0.50 per play. It was decently busy on a Friday night but still plenty of room.

Fun venue for pinball and video games. Great tap beer rotations. Friendly and attentive staff. Special shout out to Matt. We really enjoy the pinball tournaments. The bar next door is great for soccer fans. It's easy to get beer from either side on the same tab. Smoker friendly. Parking is a challenge on weekend nights, but it's worth the effort.
Heidi S — Google review
Cool austere arcade and bar, super selection of beers on tap and a good collection of pinball and old arcade games. Fairly clean, and the bar next door is also affiliated with the beercade and has more games in it. Been to quite a few of these types of places and this is one of the better ones.

A good place to hangout with an old friend and play a couple of games, it probably is; a good place to get your all-time high score on games, it is not. I dismissed my first two clues that this might not be the best experience: First, I lost my very first quarter in Funhouse. Despite banging on the machine, and being observed by the bartender, no assistance was offered. Tried other slot and was fine. I lost 75¢ total. As a kid, I would have been super upset about this. As an adult, meh... Second, Rudy's face was seriously jacked up. The retro pinballs here, while in good visual condition (sans Rudy's face), do not play well. Many shots/targets simply do not register when made, making game progress impossible. Funhouse, Medieval Madness, and Attack from Mars all suffer from this (with the last playing the best of those three machines). The videogames fare considerably better, other than Moon Patrol having no sound. I also played Galaga, Mario Bros, and Donkey Kong--all seemed fine. Again, probably a good place to have a couple of beers with an old friend over a couple of old games; not the greatest arcade experience.

Had a great time with my sister - she came in from town from Hawaii. We ordered a few shots, a beer, and a soda, then played about $35 worth of games and spent $5 on stickers. Overall had an amazing night with the pin ball games and retro games, there was only one game that didn’t end up working for me (forget which one) but every other one worked great! 10/10 recommend if you wanna have a chill fun time with some fun pinball games and others!
Samantha A — Google review
Love the concept! Didn't love that 1/3 of the games needed repair and took my money but only half worked... so pretty much takes your money. If machines worked properly I'd be a regular customer.
Shane H — Google review
This is such a great spot, had so much fun hanging out here when all the power was out getting a no locals who had nothing better to do on the weekend. Happy hours great because they give you free quarters to keep you busy, but the patio next door really takes this place the next level.
Buck W — Google review
So much fun! My husband and I took one of our boys (13), and it was awesome! Drinks are cheap, games are not expensive, we were there a bit over an hour and spent less than $20 on games and about $6 on drinks (1 alcoholic drink and 2 non alcohol drinks). Super fun!

Granite City Food & Brewery is a casual chain eatery known for its American comfort food menu and craft beers brewed on-site. What sets it apart is its unique brewing process, using wort as an ingredient to produce small quantities on-site at different locations. The restaurant's comfortable, rustic atmosphere with dark, untreated wood creates a relaxed setting for customers.
Food and service were great!! Ask for David as your server! He was great in interacting with our kids and a great server! There menu is a little crazy as its very large but we order a variety of food and it was all amazing!! At the beginning of the menu is a green page that has a selection of small plates which is what I got and recommend if your on a budget as we are with a family of 6. This was great though as we all tried 4 different small plates for under $20. Great place to eat with great service! Must try it!

We went their for lunch yesterday. The waiter was nice, prompt and helpful! The place had a nice feel to it. We ordered two pasta items from the lunch menu both were tasty, but mine had cold spots in the pasta and was barely warm. We were in a hurry so I didn't say anything.
Timothy W — Google review
My mom and I decided to go to the Granite City Brunch for unlimited mimosas and a bite to eat. It was my birthday present to her. Upon arrival, we were seated with reservations. The food looked good and fresh, and our server was very attentive. I appreciated this. Overall there were only a few items of food that I didn’t particularly care for, most of which came down to the prime rib— most of them were overcooked after the first initial plate. The carver also tried to serve us prime rib that was all fat and no meat. Everything else we ate was really bland and okay, but unfortunately nothing to rant and rave about. For $30 a person, I was kind of disappointed not by the lack of choices (there were a ton!) but the flavor of the food and service. It was extremely busy so I went ahead and gave my waitress some leeway but we did have to walk to the front to personally cash our checks after waiting about 20 minutes after asking her for the checks. I think the experience was fun overall and there were a lot of options to pick from but it was overpriced for the quality of food that they are serving.

Great service, I had Daven as a bartender and Makayla as a server and hostess. Absolutely Amazing service. Love this place! I'm picky with food and drinks...some would say I'm boujee, but if your looking for a nice family or date type of place, granite city will do you right. Check em out. Love, peace and good vibes to all who read✌🏽❤

I'd give it a .2 star if I could. The place to s run down. Poor service am just eatable food. The French onion soup was poor and the burger greasy and Luke warm. Saw a server stand on a table in her stocking feet to change a TV channel to Iowa State/N.dame football game. Then never wipe the table off after she climbed of the table. I won't be back ever. The place is run down in need of repairs and cleaning.

I was a guest for a wellness program and only had 3 food choices and after 1 hour and the salad was very peppery with mustard and raw barely cooked little piece of steak. I summited the picture as it shows the red in steak. The servers were nice but the woman at the event was rude. We couldn't use phones during but she was recording the event. I was the first to leave and she looked upset because other people started to leave. I been to conferences in restaurants and this is my ONLY bad experience. Just think the drinks in menu look good but didn't get a chance to stay longer. I am sick from the salas today. I heard so much good things about this place but maybe it's not!

Really enjoyed the meal. The pretzel sticks with beer cheese sauce were damned good.

The food is great, the drinks are great, the prices aren’t too bad either. The 5 stars for this post is due to the amazing happy hour specials and the variety that is on it. I’m definitely going to be coming back.

Lumen Beer, a popular brewery that opened in 2022, has quickly become a favorite spot for craft beer enthusiasts looking to unwind. Situated in the trendy Little Bohemia neighborhood of Omaha, this brewery offers a unique selection of original and exceptional craft brews with distinct flavors. Highly recommended by local bartenders, Lumen Beer is known for its outstanding beers.
Amazing first time experience here! The staff are super friendly and really went out of their way to make sure I got the opportunity to taste their HELLA delicious AF beer. I can’t wait to come back and get some of that Triple Slice and OJ to go!
Jack T — Google review
Lumen bar truly impressed me on my first visit! The atmosphere is inviting and cool, and their beer selection is top-notch. I was particularly blown away by their New England IPA selection. They had a fantastic variety, including their own "Slice" and "DDH Slice," which were bursting with juicy, tropical flavors and incredibly smooth. It's clear they know their NEIPAs! And don't even get me started on their Milk Stout, "Sunday Spins." It's a silky, decadent dream with rich chocolate notes and a lovely sweetness. Seriously one of the best stouts I've had. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience even better. Lumen should be your new go-to for amazing craft beer!
Scotty M — Google review
The beer here is well executed. You can tell how good a brewery is by how many things were out and he had quite a few. His hazy IPAs were top notch and the BA stout I tried was good as well. Will definitely return if I’m in the area
Jay O — Google review
Excellent sours and hazy IPAs. Friendly staff and a great vibe with TVs and great places to sit and hang out. The food is a little hit or miss. More like snack items. The fries weren't great and a very small portion. But it is an excellent craft beer establishment. It is one of my favorite breweries in the region. Check it out!
Jeremy P — Google review
Very nice, small, brewery and taproom. Looks to be fairly new. A solid selection on draft. I tried three and defaulted to a pale ale as always, but everyone in our party enjoyed their selection. There is a small food menu, but they seemed to be out of a lot of items. Our only complaint is that while we were there some workmen set up to do repairs and the noise was so loud we left after just one beer - therefore only 3 stars. Why that would happen at the 5pm afterwork drinking hour is a mystery, but I definitely look forward to a return trip and sampling more of their beers and giving Lumen 5 stars.
Michael C — Google review
Great newish brewery. Well above average IPAs, plus good stouts and sours. Comfortable tap room. Everyone who works there has seemed nice the two times we have been. Definitely will return when we are back in Omaha!

The only thing I didn't like about Lumen is that is more than 500 miles away from home! Seriously, incredible beer and super friendly staff & local beer lovers. HIGHLY Recommended.

We stopped in Omaha on our way back down from a long road Trip from SE Texas to Winnipeg and back. We have our pups with us so we were thrilled to see this place within a walk from our air b&b and it allows dogs. The bartender was super nice and the beers were all great! I had a little snafu here but the manager totally made it right. The waitress ignored me after she put in the wrong order for me and then she came to apologize and I respected her for doing that. The manager gave me a certificate to come back and the waitress asked me to ask for her so she could "make it up to me." I did get the cheese curds that were so good. They were the "county fair" ones. This burger is the BBQ bacon (not what I ordered) but they let me keep it and brought me what I ordered but that is where the snafu really happened. Anyway, this place definitely deserves a 2nd chance next time I am in Omaha as all the food looked really good!
Anita S — Google review
Had lunch here with some coworkers that had not been here before. The theme is craft burgers, some pretty unique offerings on the menu. Prices are reasonable given its location in downtown. Service was fast and friendly. The food was pretty good overall. My burger was good but close to being well done. I would have preferred it to be closer to medium than well. Taste wise, it was great though. My tater tots were a bit overcooked so that brought down the experience just a little bit. My coworkers had mixed reviews. Some thought their meals were great. Others thought it was okay or good enough for the price. But generally speaking, in my opinion, if I'm in the mood for a burger that's not chain fast food and I'm in the area, I'd probably stop in here again.
Erick C — Google review
I visited the Taphouse while in town and was a bit under the impression the food would be better based on the pictures and reviews. The fries were greasy and soggy, the pickles seemed overcooked, and the cheese curds were a bit too oily. I ordered a bison burger, but it didn’t taste like bison. Service was polite, though the switch between servers felt awkward enough that I considered leaving. Since I hadn’t eaten all day, I decided to stay, but overall the experience was average and didn’t live up to the expectations. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
MEL — Google review
Would love to give this more stars but this place is hit or miss. The guy at the podium was rude and said bc I was a party of 1 I could either find a seat at the bar or order take out. So I decided to order to go and he said k go to the bar and order. The bartender who was swamped was amazing. Ordered a burger with side Mac and cheese and an order of queso. The only thing good was the burger.. the queso and Mac n cheese was basically a soup.. not cooked properly and tasted horrible. Such a disappointing visit. This was my go to place when in omhaha but will be trying other places.
Ashleigh D — Google review
food was pretty typical! Cheese curds were good but some were over so cooked they didn’t even have cheese left in them. Great selection of beer and for a Sunday afternoon there was no wait and service was good!
Carleigh D — Google review
Tried this place out with friends for a Sunday date night. After being sat, we waited for about 15 minutes without having a server. When I asked, the manager said he would comp a round of drinks for the group, which did not end up happening. My burger was good but my fiances wings were room temp/cold by the time we received them. Would like to assume it was a one of and give them another try. The beer selection and flavors of the food were great!

With lots of other restaurants in the surrounding downtown Omaha business district. We decided to try the Tap House. What an amazing surprise. We were warmly welcomed by our server, Sarah. Sarah guided us in the right direction and made a few incredible recommendations from the menu. We decided to build our own burgers and try the cheese curds. Both choices were out of this world. What a mouth-watering and taste bud exploding experience. We were in hog heaven with the well flavored culinary taste from the Tap House Gods. I can't stop thinking about those cheese curds, truly amazing, and definitely a must try.
Cameron — Google review
We had an enjoyable experience at Omaha Tap House downtown. Some of the best cheese curds in town. We did the March madness sampler platter. For the amount we got I thought it was overpriced compared to what you get with just a normal order. Service was friendly. Mac burger I got was very good and priced extremely well for how much you get. Basically a side of Mac around the burger. We will be back.

Poor service. They arbitrarily change their hours, so I do not recommend coming as there is not telling the bar & kitchen will actually be open, regardless of what their posted hours are. They are also very aggressive with their tipping expectations. Go to Green Lantern instead.

If you like Beer you gotta go to this place. 30 beers in tap, and over 100 cans/bottles in the cooler to choose from. Even if you aren't a big beer fan, the beertenders are great at helping you find a beer that is to your taste. They really know their beer and are great at helping people learn about craft beer. Inside they have 2 rooms, and will take reservations for special events. During the nice weather months they set up a beer garden with outdoor seating on the weekends. They have lots of special events, trivia nights, colleg/pro sports viewings, brewery tap takeovers, etc. Be sure to check their social media accounts. The food is also really good - love the flat bread pizzas, pretzel sticks and the southwest egg rolls. All of it goes great with beer.

Cozy spot with a big tap selection and good cocktail menu. Every time I am in Benson I stop here. The bartenders are kind, and keep their cool when it's busy! The inside is kept nice as well. This bar serves Fruli, and I can't help myself but love them more for that.

This is our groups go-to bar to start out a night in Benson. Classy and low key without feeling snobbish. It's usually pretty quiet even though its always at least half full, which is why we start drinking here instead of ending the night. Right on the Benson strip so its a super quick and easy walk to other bars when you're ready to turn up. p.s. Alex is known for his bloody marys

The drink I ordered was lovely and the people I met there were super nice. Nestled in the vibrant microbrewery scene of Omaha, Thunderhead Brewing Taproom stands out as a fantastic destination for both beer enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. This inviting space is perfect for networking or celebrating special occasions, as evidenced by its suitability for events like wedding receptions. Guests rave about the friendly staff, particularly Bailey, who goes above and beyond to help patrons explore their taste preferences with thoughtful beer recommendations.
Myself and some other young professionals were looking for a place to get together to network in a laid back setting, and we were lucky enough to have decided on Thunderhead Brewing. This was my first experience here, and I will definitely be back! The bartender, Bailey, was extremely helpful and kind. I was nervous to try any beers outside of my comfort zone, but Bailey helped me pick between a couple based on how I described my usual taste. She gave great suggestions and awesome service! She made me feel comfortable even though I was not familiar with any of the drinks, and as you can see from the picture below, I enjoyed my drink quite a bit and didn’t leave a drop of it. The place itself was a great location for my friends and I to get together. There was comfortable seating, it was not too loud so we could hear each other speak, and there were plenty of board games around that we didn’t have the chance to break out this time, but I know it’d be fun on a future visit! I highly recommend!

This is a fun place. They have some excellent beers with a good variety of styles, and even a couple of non-beer options. They offer some light snacks, but don't have a real menu. They do allow you to bring your own food, though. The only significant downside to the taproom is that it gets rather loud when it gets busy there. The concrete floors and simple walls really bounce the sound around.
Christopher C — Google review
Great place. This is a taproom not a bar which is what I prefer. Great selection of their own brewed beers and a few others. The house made Thunder Punch is delicious and dangerous. I will definitely be back and recommend this to anyone. The owner is very friendly and is currently out here grilling burgers and brats just because, no charge, just tip because it's the right thing to do.
Raymond G — Google review
I get to taste beers from all over. Each of Thunderhead’s were distinct individuals that stood on their own. Got a flight and growler. Tasted lots of the list. I am happy Google maps showed me this brewery satellite and I will be back!
Bill R — Google review
First, I get that people are short staffed. But this place must also be short a good manager. We went Aug 19th because we saw you had some Maui/luau thing planned and thought it would be fun. Tip for Thunderhead do not plan a wedding reception the same time you promote anything. You cannot handle it. My idea of going to a brewery and trying new beers is not a patio full of small kids playing with lays. Still willing to try we ordered a flight. They had no glassware, not even for a flight. Plastic solo cups for craft brew at a brewery REALLY. Still, we thought we would do one pint because we each liked one in the flight, went back in but the line to get a beer from the one and only bar tender was so long. There was another employee there, but she was doing nothing for about 10 minutes maybe because she did not start till 8pm and it was 7:50. We closed our tab and left. Went to infusion Brewery got good beer (in a glass) and patio with no kids, even bought some to go. Then went to Pint Nine great beer and some to go.
Monica T — Google review
Excellent experience. Great, low key atmosphere perfect for drinking a few beers and playing a board game with friends on a Tuesday night. Bartender was a great host and even offered us cookies that were (almost) as good as the beer! Highly recommend.

Love! They had a huge patio and were accommodating to our dogs, which was awesome. They also had a huge selection of beer, and even a couple of craft sodas. No food but I love how you're allowed to bring your own. Bartending staff is super friendly. I would definitely stop by again if I'm in town!

My daughter had her wedding reception at Thunderhead. It was perfect! We had roughly 130 people there and the space was just the right size. We were not able to utilize the patio, as the weather was a bit cool. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fun place to host an event! Jake was extremely helpful and super easy to work with! Everyone loved the different kinds of beer, as well! Thanks Thunderhead!!

The #1 thing about this place is the location right by the baseball stadium and CHI Arena. #2 is good service. Staff are knowledgeable, attentive, quick. #3 is the environment. It is fine. Seems friendly and all. Last on the list is the food. It is fine. Not great. Just fine. The buns are good. The burgers are fine. The fried chicken is cooked properly but relatively tasteless. It is all just... fine... It is a bit pricey for average food but I think that is because of location. People having drinks seem very content so the bar is probably good. I rarely drink so can't say. However, the Pepsi mix is actually outstanding. I could possibly swap that out for the #1 thing. Because of the location I plan to be back.

Good service. Good cocktails. Good beer selection. Food came out fast. The bartender was the perfect amount of attentive and she made great drinks. She made a fellow female comfortable in a different city. Those used to Washington, DC drink prices will be pleasantly surprised. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. Thanks for a good Omaha trip!

The food is outstanding here. I got the Root Burger (not usually my thing) and it was outstanding. All the toppings were so fresh. Great job. I got the potato salad as a side and it was also outstanding. Prices are fair for what you get. Presentation of food could be better but who cares when it is outstanding and you have great staff serving you.

In the times of Beyond and Impossible meat, they serve a properly vegan patty from quinoa and beets. 4 stars for the taste and one more for choosing to make a vegan patty. The fries were also well-seasoned and crisp. I would definitely return when I am in town.

Came for lunch - food was pretty good. Potato salad and chicken strips were the best items. Steak way overcooked and overpriced. Service was friendly but slow. They need a bartender so the servers can focus on serving tables and not doing everything themselves. Wanted to sit upstairs but didn’t see the entrance/access and there was no one to ask so we just sat down. Inside was a nice, bright space. Relaxed atmosphere. Good beer and cocktails but getting more was difficult because of our server needing to take care of way too many people/areas.

They were busy but we were seated right away. My husband started with a Scotch Egg. Other than being a little lean on the sausage layer he really enjoyed it, that mustard sauce was great! He also had the Smoked Tomato Soup and loved everything about it! I kinda figured he'd go with the Smoked Meatloaf Sandwich. Honey cream cheese, Spinach, Sautéed peppers and onions, Jalapeño jam. It had a lot going on but it totally worked. He loves Meatloaf and went on and on about the Ciabatta it was served on! Fish & Chips were super yummy! Great beer batter, so flaky and crispy! Exactly what you want them to be! I order this everywhere and I'd say it's definitely in the top 5 I've had. Tartar was good, hand-cut fries were perfect. Coleslaw was different with a southwest flavor but I enjoyed it as well. Our server was brand new but mostly did a fine job keeping up. If you are catching a show at the Orpheum, definitely try out this spot.

After moving downtown, we wanted to find our bar home and after visiting several places we walked in Wilson and Washburn and it felted like the place. Then we met regulars the amazing staff and it just got better. That’s all before having possibly the best fish and chips in Omaha and the beet burger! Holy crap was it great! Want that cheers vibe with great staff and food? Look no further!

Had a great time and food was delicious. Highly recommend Meatloaf Sandwich, Chicken in a Bisket, Shrimp Po Boy and Fish and Chips. Stuffed portabello was a huge hit and pulled pork egg rolls were good as well. Bourbon bread pudding and key lime pie were also very good , no complaints from the entire table. Definitely would return.

If you're in Omaha and looking for a cozy spot with amazing food, Wilson & Washburn is the place to go. Nearly everything on the menu is made from scratch, and the food is so delicious I found myself coming back every day. The bar has outlets underneath, making it easy to set up your laptop and get some work done. If you stop by, Jeff, Andy, or Zoe will make sure you receive excellent service. Highly recommend!

Great tasting food, these bars are really stepping their kitchen game up. If you like pulled pork sandwiches I’d recommend trying theirs. Also the fries were good too, seasoned and cooked well.
Jarodd B — Google review
The food menu is small and a step above what you would expect from a pub. Everything is good. Love the smoked wings and beet burger (still great since the last time I went in 2018). For the drinkers, the cocktail and beer selection is great. There are also specials each day. Glad I came back with the family.

Spirit World is a contemporary wine and liquor store located in Aksarben, Omaha. It offers a vast selection of beers, meads, sojus, gins, and specialty liqueurs. The store features a drive-thru pickup window and a gourmet lunch deli. Customers can also enjoy drinks on-site from the large cooler selection or at the bar with friendly and knowledgeable bartenders offering great suggestions. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable for browsing through their amazing selection of beverages.
It was great while it lasted! My earliest memory of Spirit World is from back in the day when Denny Lewis was on the airwaves signing off on each radio spot with "Good living to ya". Most recently it was a face-to-face exchange with Laurie as the auction was winding down and the essence of Spirit World was being entrusted to the many auction participants. Thanks for the memories!

Looking for something to take to that dinner party? Chances are you'll find it at Spirit World in Aksarben. Endless selection, helpful staff, and convenient location. And, at a variety of price points, something to please even the most discerning wine lover.
Julie K — Google review
Great selection, med high prices since at Aksarben. I joined their reward program and never got any rewards after repeated purchases. I like that you can try a sample at bar if open, but they were out of one I wanted to try. One employee seemed to be showing pricier versions. Deli was great in past, much reduced now, but I haven't tried in awhile because not easy to get service.

Great for meeting people as tables are setup distance from each other. Music and tone sir place was just right to have conversations, friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of drinks.
Chris E — Google review
Not just a liquor store, a bar, or a deli, but an amazing experience. They have hands down the best selection of beer, wine, and liquor along with a friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you pick out what is right for you. If you're still unsure, they're more than willing to give you a sample of many of their products at the bar. Spirit World is a great place to stop for a drink or even some lunch too. The hunter's salad is to die for. If you've not been here before, treat yourself to an awesome experience and go on down.

I was looking for a new gin cocktail to drink and they went above and beyond with helping me decide. I got my own private tasting and a history lesson on all the different kinds of gin. If you are looking for a new drink and not quite sure, give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!

Ika Ramen is a popular neighborhood spot offering a variety of classic Japanese dishes, with a focus on ramen and casual dining. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Ika successfully expanded to three locations, including its first suburban ramen shop. The menu features traditional favorites like tonkotsu and Mary Jane ramen, as well as spicy noodle bowls and flavorful poke and donburi options.
The SPICY SEAFOOD RAMEN 🤤… recommended by my server Monica and it did NOT disappoint. I switched up the egg to the soy marinated one (her suggestion as well). If I lived in Omaha I’d be here at least 1x a week. Playlist was dope too! Cool spot. Highly recommend 👍🏽

The food was great! It came out fast and it was piping hot! Would definitely recommend and will for sure be visiting again. We got the 68104, East LA and the Mary Jane ramen bowls. YUM! We also got Pork Gyoza and Spicy Cucumbers small plates. *chefs kiss*!
Stormi — Google review
Ika is great for ramen lovers. I usually get the Mary Jane with extra Ajitama or corn. I like the decor and general vibe but only 4 stars because service at the Benson location is pretty inconsistent depending on the day. The Papillon location has better service.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Ika Ramen! This place isn’t just about the incredible food—though the food is indeed delicious—it’s the whole experience that makes it stand out. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, creating a perfect backdrop for enjoying some truly top-notch ramen. Whether you’re there for a solo meal, a date, or just hanging out with a friend, Ika makes every visit special. The staff at Ika Ramen work incredibly hard, but you’d never guess it from their friendly and accommodating demeanor. They’re always attentive and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to dietary restrictions. I have specific dietary needs, and the staff at Ika are always careful and considerate, ensuring my food is safe and delicious every time. Even though I live in Lincoln, I find myself driving to Omaha often just to enjoy a meal at Ika Ramen. It’s become one of my favorite places, and for good reason. The dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of the restaurant. If you’re looking for a place with fantastic food, a great atmosphere, and a team that truly cares, look no further than Ika Ramen. You won’t be disappointed!

Food was very delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive... my only complaints would be that this place does not offer any silverware so if you're the average American that doesn't know how to use chopsticks.. then good luck. Also they have a sign in the front of the restaurant that says "Entrance in the back" Which is meant to be a pro LGBTQ sign .... however I did not realize this so my daughter and I were walking in the alley trying to look for the entrance of the restaurant for a lot longer than we needed to be roaming in an alley for.

Kate B — Google review
The front desk girl at the Benson location kindly helped me with an order tonight and went above and beyond to address my concerns! Usually the food here is great and tonight a small issue was handled with exceeding care. Did not get her name but that service is rare these days!
Bailey C — Google review
Summary: the food was average or slightly above average. The service seemed a bit chaotic. The price is reasonable. We entered the restaurant where there seem to be only two people working. We waited approximately 15 minutes before anyone noticed us. After we were seated, our waitress gave us the menu and took our drink orders. She came back a few minutes later, where we placed our appetizer as well as entrée orders. The food came fairly fast, and was warm. We ordered the brussels sprouts for appetizers, which were delicious. The entrées (vegetarian, and seafood Ramen), were not as good as our appetizer. The price was reasonable for the quantity. Overall, there are better Ramen places in the area. After visiting all those, and you’re looking for a new place, maybe you can consider this.

Bärchen Beer Garden, located in the Benson neighborhood of Omaha, is a popular spot for those seeking a casual and delicious meal. The beer garden offers a festive atmosphere with a killer patio where patrons can enjoy an array of European beers in an open-air setting. Known for its quality beer selection and German-style ambiance, Bärchen Beer Garden also serves American pub fare to complement the imported German and Belgian beers. The back patio is particularly popular among soccer fans and families from the Benson area.
Stopped in to grab a snack and a beer while warming up from the cold Nebraska winter. We were greeted by a friendly older gentleman who took his time helping us pick the perfect beers to enjoy alongside some amazing pretzels. The place has plenty of seating, and TVs line the walls, so you can catch a game while you relax. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to visit if you enjoy German-themed food and drinks. Highly recommend it!

We were looking for someplace new to try in town for drinks and snacks/appetizers and hubby found this place online. We were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is charming and has a great vib and the service was fantastic! The whole staff pitches in and helps the server when they are busy with other tables which I LOVE coming from a long history of being a server/bartender. The Hammer pants fries are absolutely delicious as well as the pretzels! (You get 2 large ones in one order so don't let the price scare you) The Moscow mule are great too and we will definitely be back!

As someone who’s lived in Omaha my whole life, I’ve been to a lot of places that claim to have the best burger in town, and out of all of those places, there is only one that I continue to go back to every time: Bärchen Beer Garden in Benson. These burgers are so delicious! Melty Gouda cheese, juicy Waygu beef patties, pickled red onions, and a house made burger sauce served on a soft and airy potato bread bun. Along with the burgers, they have yummy cocktails, specialty shots, and a long list of beers to try. Every time we have gone, the restaurant has been clean, the staff has been super nice and attentive, and the food has been top notch. The back patio is great for larger groups and a fun place to spend a beautiful day. Next time you’re in the mood for a good burger, definitely go show Bärchen some love!

Our app was excellent. We went all in on the Hammer Pants Fries. We ordered three different burgers and everyone was pleased. The mushroom swiss was probably the best I've had. Fries are very good. Great beer choices. Loved the hefeweizen. The staff was very nice and service was excellent. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been here twice. Both times I had fun. The first time was a blast. However, that’s largely to do with the people I was there with. This place has a lot of potential, but is not without its problems. The first time I was there, our server was a super nice, adorable guy, but he was terrible at serving. Two separate times, he completely forgot our drink orders. After that, we wouldn’t see him very often. We were sitting the whole way in the back of the outside area. Most of our drinks I just walked up to get myself from the Bar area, because we wouldn’t see him for such long stretches of time. The second time I was there, it was a little confusing over who was gonna take our orders and such, but once they got a server to us, she did a fine job. The second time I was there was on a Wednesday to do trivia. So, I sat inside this time. I could not understand what the trivia master was saying half the time over the speakers. Something needs to be done about that sound system. I don’t know that that’s particularly the responsibility of the restaurant though. The food I had was pretty basic straightforward bar/Gastropub sort of fair. It was well executed though.
Shane G — Google review
This is a German Beer Garden, or just a beer garden that has a lot of German beer. Nonetheless, they have a lot of beer and other drinks. If I was judge and jury of beer gardens, this place would get 6 stars. We, however, went into the place to eat. First things first, you will need to put a card on tab up front....or at your table. Leave it open as there are certain things like a tip, or another can of soda, that you will want to pay for without pulling your card back out. Nonetheless, read the menu and ingredients on each of the burgers and sandwiches. If you pick and choose your ingredients, you will make awesome choices. I had a "Smooth Criminal" minus pickles and onions. WOW. I mean the sauces on this thing was amazing. The fries, they could be better, but the burgers, got to have one. Remember, pick and choose your ingredients. Daughter had a chicken sandwich minus pickles, onions and jalapenos. She loved it. They have excellent pretzels...pretty authentic. Now, the sausages and schnitzel are on the menu but they don't have them. The waitress said they don't serve them anymore. Better check before you go down if you are only wanting sausage or schnitzel. The environment, pretty nice. I took pics of the inside. The back beer garden is pretty nice. I took away a star for a few things. The fries appear store bought. You can tell a lot about a joint by their fries. The missing sausage and schnitzel. If they are on the menu, then serve them. TVs. They had lots of TVs but the Hobbit was playing on one. The Office was playing on another, yet international soccer games were going on. Also, water was served in little plastic cups...not much bigger than a Dixie cup...so bring us a pitcher to help refill the water. Pop in cans (?), I don't know. Fix a few things and it's a 5 star. Anyway, I like the staff and the place was neat and clean. The price, upper side but you get a burger or sandwhich you haven't tasted before. I'd go back without hesitation.

The interior features colorful murals, neon signs, and vintage-style elements. The menu boasts a variety of delectable offerings such as Peruvian style roasted chicken, Nashville Hot Waffle, Maccin Cheezall, and boozy milkshakes.
My co-worker and I came here on an early weekday lunch and nothing around Benson was open at 11am. Tried the Nashville hot chicken waffle and it is unreal. The peach marmalade mixture with the Nashville hot sauce was an amazing combination. Mike was our server and he was just great

Very attentive staff. We were the only ones there around 10am on a spring break weekday, but the place soon starred filling up. The menu has the right amount of options, but if you come too early, you may not be able to try their giant cinnamon roll. The chimicanga was a bit oily but delicious. As far as I could tell, there was only one waiter and one chef, but service was still pretty quick. It is an open kitchen (you can see them cook, which is cool, but you'll likely walk out smelling like a freshly fried meal!) Will definitely come back for the giant cinnamon roll!

We went here after the Benson Beer Fest to eat and soak up the beer before heading home. Super friendly employees, super generous portions and beyond reasonable prices! We tried the waffles, pancakes, chicken sandwich and burgers, plus shared the mac and cheese and chicken nugs as appetizers. We enjoyed all of it!
Daydreanne L — Google review
The food portions are quite generous, the pricing is very affordable, the ambiance is cool diner, but the service was the only thing I had an issue with. Tot nachos 5 stars The amount of meat you get on this is insane. Makes good a very nice breakfast, but just an Appy. Giant cinnamon roll 5 stars I'm not big into cinnamon lately, but this got my 5 stars because the texture was what dreams are made of. Super fluff, light and airy. It wasn't too sweet for me either which is often a problem. My only issue might be the size as I don't tend to eat much, but I'd still want to order this to share with friends to show off. Breakfast chimichanga 4 stars Everything about this was great, but my issue was it lacked sauce. If there was more on the side to add to the plate it would have gotten a 5. Barbacoa grilled cheese 4.25 stars It's a great combination. The fries were a 4 but there also weren't that many. The grilled cheese sandwich with the meat itself however was an excellent item. I didn't try the other items pictured as those were what my friends ordered. Everyone seemed happy with their meals and had no complaints. Service was not exceptionally friendly and the server didn't look happy serving us (she wasn't mean, she just seemed there), but aside from that it was pretty standard service. She did help us take a photo which we appreciated. Parking is available for free on the street. I found a spot that said maximum 2 hours.

Ika San Ramen and Izakaya is a unique Asian eatery and bar located in the heart of Benson, offering a modern take on traditional Japanese ramen. The restaurant provides a hip ambiance and a diverse menu featuring dishes like paitan ramen, shoyu ramen, and pork belly steamed buns.
I had the spicy seafood ramen, (with less spicy sauce) and some kimchi tempura. Loved it all I recommend my Dad and brother Tonkatsu (they have never had ramen before) they were both happy with their food. I appreciate the unique atmosphere. We had to ask a stranger in the street where the ramen shop was. Didn't see it down the alley. Additional signage may be helpful for first time visitors. Thank you for the wonderful food! Would absolutely come back and recommend to friends.

Was obsessed with this place but it’s so inconsistent and the last time I went they changed the recipe to some of my favorite dishes. Tokyo friend chicken and Brussels sprouts are different now and do not taste good (before and after) even tho service was terrible the food always made me come back. I’m missing it now and wish I could get it again but it’s not the same

Was really mediocre but I went towards closing on a frozen night so maybe that's why? The gorgeous bartender was super nice and the server was cool, although hahaha it was so funny when I asked his favorite rice bowl and he was like "... yeah I don't eat those bruh," love it. Noodles seemed still like frozen or stuck together. Char siu was tough as leather. Broth was OK. Would return to try something else like the rice bowls that guy didn't eat and give it another day chance or more drunk chance, but otherwise first impression was, meh, ok with nothing else open.

Went during the CWS for dinner and was able to get right in. Cool location in Old Market with an alleyway entrance. Food exceeded my expectations with the Maryjane broth being a unique flavor that I haven't had before in Ramen. They didn't have the ingredients for the cocktail that I ordered but the bartender was able to make me something similar that was very good.

**Negative Review for Ika Ramen** I recently visited Ika Ramen at 1114 Jones St, Omaha, NE, after hearing some recommendations, but my experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, I was struck by the unfriendly demeanor of the waitress, who asked me why I was there, which felt quite off-putting. To make matters worse, my food arrived cold. I mentioned this to the waitress, and she took my bowl back, assuring me they would remake it. However, to my dismay, they returned my same cold bowl instead. At that point, I had lost my appetite, and I promptly asked for the check. I paid and left, disappointed with the service and food quality. I can confidently say that neither I nor my network will ever return to Ika Ramen. Avoid this place if you value good food and service!

Terrible experience with ordering to go today. After getting to my car to check everything is correct, I realize we’re missing a ramen so we go inside to inquire about it. It was ONLY then were we notified that they in fact didn’t have all the ingredients for said ramen ?? and they had already issued the refund for it. Wow. It’s not even the first time I’m told they don’t have something they’re selling on the menu, just to get refunded. I highly encourage if you do order to go, to check your bag since it seems they won’t tell you if you’re getting your full order or not.

My boyfriend brought me here because of my insatiable desire to eat ramen whenever we're visiting a new place together. The ramen here was good, but pretty average. They were both beautiful plated, however. The cocktails on the other hand were tasty but lacked design. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed. Dark, kind of sexy but hip. Kind of got lost trying to find the place. The person being trained served us at the bar. I like eating at the bar. Servers/bartenders were very attentive. We were also the only ones in there around 5:30pm on a Tuesday. I guess we were there during Happy Hour so prices were pretty decent. Portion sizes are generous. Might try the other locations when we're back in Omaha.

Wow!!! I love it so that people can bring their kids to play the games until 7 pm. I am not a beer drinker, but my partner loves an occasional beer. I was happy to get a hard cider, and he got a porter. We played some Iceball--where you roll real balls to make a score. We were there during Happy Hour and got 2 quarters for each drink to use to play their games. I didn't have any food, that is why I didn't rate it.

We are from Pittsburgh Pa and didn’t find a ton of things to do outside of the overhyped old market stores. So glad she found this place. So much fun and so many old memories rekindled. Kid friendly and then at 7 it is only adults.

Beercade 2 is a great spot if you’re into pinball and arcade games. The space is much bigger than the original Beercade in Benson, so it never feels too crowded. They’ve got a solid selection of pinball machines and other games, and I’ve rarely run into any issues with machines being down. Service has always been good, and they keep things running smoothly. Another plus there’s often a food truck parked out front, which makes it easy to grab a quick bite between games. Overall, Beercade 2 is a fun, laid-back spot with plenty of room, good service, and tons of games to keep you entertained. I will for sure miss this spot as I am moving out of Omaha!

Visiting the area. Found BeerCade2 listed on the Stern Insider app. Came to play pinball and brought pizza from Orsis Bakery around the corner. $20 in quarters went a long ways. Also got quarters from happy hour pints. Spent a few hours playing every game and enjoying some local ciders. It was great. Found a few games we have never played before. Next time in town we are going to check out the original BeerCade location too.

If you're on the hunt for a cozy spot to unwind, look no further than Library Pub. This charming establishment boasts an impressive selection of over 200 beers, with a particular emphasis on IPAs and stouts that will delight any craft beer enthusiast. But that's not all—Library Pub is also home to one of the largest whiskey collections around, making it a haven for whiskey lovers as well.
*I gave a 5-star on food; but they do NOT serve food here, they have free popcorn though. I have never seen any unfriendly bartender here. They always work hard and are easy going, too. Reasonable pricing on any item here; very honest and humble, but knowledgeable. They have a great selection of… a shit ton of both whiskey and beer here.
M M — Google review
100% feels like a library with all the books around. Tons of different top shelf alcohol displayed.
Cindy W — Google review
This is always my go to whenever I'm in Omaha! I love the place as a whole, the booze and drinks are phenomenal the bartenders are always ready to make me something new when I request "surprise me!" Biggest whiskey collection that I've ever seen! I highly recommend! Always got the popcorn ready! Great drinks and prices!
Cassandra K — Google review
It is a great place to hangout with friends and the service is great! Come full because they only serve drinks and popcorn.
Dorina M — Google review
Great place to drink. Great drink selection. I really enjoyed the mimosas, popcorn available. Also good selection of books to entertain you. Margaritas and blood Mary's good as well. Updated nice bathrooms.
E L — Google review
If you love your spirits like I do, please visit this amazing pub. I was in awe of the whisky and scotch available with a lot of other varieties. A must stop if your in the area.
Jay L — Google review
This is by far my favorite whiskey place to visit when I am back in Omaha visiting family! Their whiskey prices are reasonable and the bartender that was working while I was there knew a lot of info about whiskey and was able to make a recommendation on a new whiskey I had yet to try.

In town for the CWS. Last stop before leaving for home. Excellent beer options. Impressive collection of spirits. Enjoyed the local hospitality!

O'Leaver's Pub is a classic Omaha spot that welcomes dogs in its backyard patio area, making it a premier location to catch up-and-coming artists in the metro area. The pub offers a vibrant atmosphere where patrons can watch volleyball and enjoy people-watching, with most visitors exuding an effortlessly cool vibe. The back patio features a massive volleyball court with its own bar, creating a hidden gem for guests to unwind on weekends.
Always great service, great drinks, and great patrons! I marked a 5 star for food because I dont want to negatively stain this great little bar. They just don't have a kitchen at the bar, but there's a Mexican place right next door with delicious food. 😊
April G — Google review
They've not served food in a couple years but haven't been able to get the listing changed. No worries. The music and the vibes here are awesome!! Other patrons were friendly and the bartender was fun to talk to.
Brie J — Google review
Great bartenders. Beautiful beer garden. Awesome basement for events. Affordable prices. I highly recommend checking it out
Heidi G — Google review
The drinks were good, the bartenders were good. No food. You have to go next door to get food, but they will bring it to you in the bar. The music was great.
Matt B — Google review
Will never be back. Got a total of ONE drink in an hour because the bartender, who was standing not more than five feet from me, was too busy trying to get into his boyfriend’s pants the entire time.
Goo G — Google review
The bartender was more interested in taking care of regulars then servi g someone new. I had never been there before and it was uncomfortable. The bartender was pleasant and they have good prices.

Great Staff . Friendly Safe and inclusive atmosphere. Great concert venues. I'm new to Omaha and I love this gig. Happy new regular patron here.

Went there because they advertised having a late night kitchen. When I got there they said the kitchen had been closed there for almost 2 years. Don't go there if you're hungry!

Kaitei is a basement speakeasy located beneath a popular ramen restaurant in Benson. The bar is known for its kitschy decor and fantastic drinks, especially sake cocktails. It hosts fun themed pop-ups and offers inventive drinks, along with fabulous ramen available at the Ika restaurant upstairs. Despite its small size, Kaitei's unique Asian-inspired atmosphere and friendly bartenders make it a must-visit spot for those seeking an eclectic experience.
My wife and I stopped in for a few cocktails on a Saturday around 8pm and really enjoyed our time. We both enjoyed the "At Your Whim" and the "Farfetch'd" The bar tenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and talented. The bar itself is cozy, looking as though it could fit about 20-30 people. The low ceiling and great artwork add to the exclusive club feel. Can't wait to go back.
Christopher F — Google review
The drinks are absolutely amazing, there was a dj, that was a bit different, but it was really nice overall. The bartender was so sweet and amazing.
Emirosetea — Google review
Great Place and staff is awesome. The only negative is the DJ on Saturday night. The DJ plays really good music. I just wish it were not quite so loud for such a small room. I have trouble hearing people over the music, but still, DJ was cool and glad he was there.
James J — Google review
If you want grunge and time travel, this is the bar for you. Sake is one of my favorite things to drink and they have everything you could ask for. The staff is beyond talented, you can find something you will like. They have a snack machine with Asian snacks- so cool. Their menu is top notch, haven't found a listed cocktail that I didn't like. It is smaller, it does get busy. Prepare for that.
Jessica P — Google review
The DJ was awesome, the bartender was cute and the beer smooth
T. R — Google review
This is my favorite bar in Omaha. Its a very chill and lowkey bar. They have an array of Japanese liquor and unique drinks. It's not overly loud so if you want to just relax and have a few drinks with a friend and actually be able to hear each other, this is the place to be. They have a Japanese vending machine in the back along with a little arcade fighting game. There is tons of interesting art and decorations around. The bathroom has some fun art to look at. After your night of drinking is over and the munchies kick in you can head in upstairs and grab some AMAZING ramen. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for something new.
TheTurfMonster — Google review
Worst bar in town. The bartenders are always in a good mood like they enjoy their job or something - who actually likes their job? Couldn’t they just stick to classic cocktails instead of experimenting with unique ingredients and techniques that require patience, skill, and effort? They’re always doing annoying stuff like educating patrons about sake and working with distributors to expand the availability and quality of sake in Nebraska.
Scott H — Google review
Fun bar before enjoying a ramen dinner upstairs. Cocktails were creative and tasty and the bartenders were very quick and friendly. The space is a little small so you’re lucky if you’re able to grab a table.

Taco Co is a popular spot in Blackstone, known for its inviting and lively atmosphere. The food hall offers a variety of choices, but Taco Co stands out with its delicious puffy tacos, chips and guac, queso, and salsa. The staff are friendly and always ready to assist. Whether it's for a quick date night or dinner with friends, the place offers yummy tacos and drinks.
Taco co was amazing!!! I love going to kamp and grabbing a drink, but having a taco too!! Out of this world. Always the best service and quality of food from the team at KAMP, and the atmosphere is always amazing. Whether they’ve got the game on, or they have holiday themed decoration/movies playing I can always have a great time here. Will be going back 😁
Jon P — Google review
One of our favorite restaurants. You can’t beat the price for the quality of food. Our favorites are the dip flight, beef tacos, and mangonada margaritas. You MUST finish your meal with the churro bites and churro ice cream (made locally at Ted & Wally’s) with bits of churro bites inside. And to top it off, we’ve always had amazing service! Run, don’t walk, to Taco Co.
Lindsey B — Google review
I love Taco Co! This is my favorite quick date night. Their tacos and queso are so yummy! I love their drinks too but, they are a bit expensive for what you get.
Maddie E — Google review
The Benson location has been a favorite spot for a long time. It feels like Taco Co fits perfectly into the Kamp atmosphere. Love it!
Derek J — Google review
Love the vibes of this food hall in Blackstone. They’ve got a great patio for the summer months, and the inside is inviting and lively. There’s a variety of food choice, but Taco Co is my favorite!Their puffy tacos are the best in town, and their chips and guac, queso, and salsa are second to none. The staff are always friendly, and the food is always delicious. Definitely one of my favorite spots in town!

I always enjoy coming to KAMP and when I saw there was a Taco co moving in I couldn’t believe it!!! I love the burgers and Korean corn dogs they have, and knew that the tacos from taco co wouldn’t disappoint, and it didn’t!! The puffy tacos and queso were two menu items that stuck out to me. Truly amazing work done by the staff and managers of KAMP. You can tell that all faculty put in a lot of work for this location and care about all of their customers.

We rented space at the Art Plug for a large family photoshoot. It was a great experience!
