Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park, located in Lancaster County, is a 44-acre kingdom for children with a variety of attractions suitable for the whole family. The park offers over 30 rides including roller coasters, water slides, teacup rides, and carousels designed to cater to children of all ages. In addition to the thrilling rides, there are live entertainment shows and a water play area called Dukes Lagoon.
This is a great park for younger aged children. Really cool theme & the Castle Entrance is awesome. Most rides and stuff are for kids 3-10 years old. There are a few coasters but nothing crazy. They have a live performance a few times a day & this is a MUST. The water park is probably the one area they could improve on as it's WAY over crowded and smaller than i expected. It's nice nonetheless but there isn't a wave pool, lazy river, or even just a regular pool. There's two splash pad areas for toddlers and two taller watersides and that's really it.
Jay J — Google review
A quaint little amusement/water park in Lancaster, PA. There are a few rides for the older crowd, but I think this park is geared mainly to the younger kids. My boyfriend and I took his 9 year old daughter and we all had a great time. You could actually spend the entire day at the water park if you wanted to. We didn't get to see any of the shows as we were only in Lancaster for a few days. It's interesting to see this park right along the main roadway. I believe the park was open in 1963, so I do not know if that highway was there at that time. There is also an area where you can walk through and learn about dinosaurs.
Diane C — Google review
Our 6 and 4 year old grandchildren love it here. Their favorite rides are the Whip It, Old Fashioned Car, the small roller coaster, the Bee. They were disappointed this last visit because none of the dinosaurs in explore Island were working. A fun amusement park.

Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park 2249 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, PA 17602 So I’m not gonna lie I wasn’t sure what to think when my wife said let’s go to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA. Doesn’t really seem like there’s anything there as a quick roadtrip destination, but the fact that this amusement park is geared towards 12 and under and we needed some long overdue family fun we decided to hit the road. Once we arrived, the checking process was super easy because we bought our tickets online. People that were purchasing tickets on site were waiting forever in line 😩. Shout out to my wife for making the arrangements online. We got in and began riding all the kid friendly rides we could fit. First we went on a boat ride and had to identify different characters along the way. We rode the skylift across the park which was relaxing. Once we got off the skylift we went to a BBQ stand to eat and unfortunately that was the only bad part about the park. The burgers weren’t real ground beef, they didn’t have any of their sides like, and the smoked sausage wasn’t very good either. They also ran out of drinks so we had to get kiddie cups of water. After the dissster that was lunch we allowed the girls to ride a bunch of rides that parents couldn’t ride with them on. We watched a water show with an evil sorcerer, a king who’s princess daughter needed to be saved by the prince that was turned into a frog by the sorcerer because he wanted to marry the princess himself. We were able to finish off the park with a couple of family rides and rollercoasters as well as taking the girls to the gift shop and grabbing some souvenirs. If we ever go again we’ll stick to your traditional amusement park food like chicken tenders, pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, etc, but all in all it was a great experience and most importantly the girls had lots of fun!
Brandon H — Google review
My son is 7 years old and he is at the perfect age for this amusement park. Definitely worth checking out at least once. You can easily see the whole park in 1 day. We plan to come back during Christmas since they decorate the park all up & you can even book Christmas dinner with Santa & his Elves! Kinda a cool experience for your little ones before they get to old. (Insert tear) lol
Jessica J — Google review
Dutch wonderland sure showed me and my family a good time everything where age-appropriate, we try almost all the rides they could ride. The water area was great since i had my 2 year old and 5 year old even i had a blast. Staff was informative friendy if we could have found something they insured that we found it. We had gotten food while there a little pricey for chicken tenders and fries finish it off with a slushy variety of flavors. So much fun things to do loved it i rate 10/10

Really awesome place for a family fun day. SO many fun rides and things to do. Delicious treats and eats throughout the park - highly recommended.
William ( — Google review
I loved it here and cannot wait to return! I visited for the first time today with my husband (who hates rides) and my 2.5yr old toddler (who had yet to experience them). It is the perfect place to go as a family with a little one trying rides for the very first time. The rides are specifically designed with kiddos in mind, so the majority are low stakes and not very intense. I appreciated their easy system for riding based on height, and it was clearly posted at each ride. I also loved that I could walk into the rides with my son and get him situated and buckled before they began (of course workers double checked every time, but it gave me kiddo peace of mind to have me walk in with him). There were lots of food stalls and restaurants around, bathrooms in convenient locations (which included changing stations for littles), a first aid booth, strollers for rent (and plenty of places to put said strollers when on rides), games to play, and the entire park was very walkable. There were no crazy hills or long stretches of path where rides were not accessible. Wait times for rides were very short-- in fact, most of the time there was never a line. For the couple times we did wait, it was not longer than 10 minutes, and there was often shade or coverage from the sun. The water area was a blast and definitely helped us cool off. We went straight there to drop off our swim stuff (in a locker) which made it easy to get to when we were ready, and it kept us from toting extra stuff around all afternoon. The locker was for all day which was wonderful. There were so many things to do outside of rides. Shows, dives, pop up theater, Santa, a foam party, story time--it was a jam packed place. If you're looking for a place to take your littles for the day, look no further! Dutch Wonderland is the perfect place to go. Look for deals online for tickets. Kids under 3 are FREE!!!

Flea & Street Markets
Lancaster Central Market is a historic landmark housed in an 1800s brick building, offering a wide array of local cheeses, meats, produce, and ethnic cuisines. Visitors can explore the market on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays to discover Pennsylvania Dutch doughnuts, empanadas, falafel, charcuterie-style meats, artisanal cheeses, and hand-carved sandwiches.
Prepare to be overwhelmed (in the best possible way!) by variety of delicious treats. You'll find everything from artisanal cheeses and meats, to various prepared foods, perfect for a quick bite or a meal at home. The bread and warm pastries is simply irresistible. You must try pretzels, although they don’t appear as ginormous as Auntie Anne’s ones they are filling and oh so delicious! And for honey lovers- this is your place! I got wildflower, honey, basswood honey and even buckwheat honey! So excited to try them!

Great place.. a little hot inside but a big variety of foods, bakery items, vegetables, meats and trinkets and much more. This cupcake place was amazing. Prettiest cupcakes I've seen. They said they are planning on getting a shop soon. I wish them lots of luck.😊

Had a great time visiting Lancaster Central market. Vendors galore, from fresh cut flowers to meats and cheeses produce souvenirs and hot food. Pricing was absolutely amazing and everyone was very friendly. Loved walking through seeing everything. Baked goods and beautiful cupcakes.

Loved this marketplace where I can get baked goods, candies and treats as well as soup mixes and pancake mix. We sat down and had breakfast at the counter and the eggs were perfect. Very nice people work here. They have handmade crafts and gift items as well.

I recently visited this place for the first time and really enjoyed it! The apple cider latte was amazing - not too sweet and something I could drink every day. Definitely recommend checking it out!
Naoko O — Google review
Exciting and very busy place on a Saturday. We arrived to check it out on a lovely bright sunny day. Food vendors inside and out musicians the smell of baked goods and coffee. We looked at all of our choices for lunch and decided on ntwo deli sandwiches from Deli Grassi which was turkey with peppers,, lettuce and tomatoes on freshly baked bread from Philly. $26 for two sandwiches. Had two cokes and got some Boston custard donuts from the Amish Red Maple Bakery. Very crowded and you have to pay to park. So many choices inside and out check it out for yourself. 🌹

Absolutely loved this indoor market. If you like fresh veggies, locally sourced milk products, fresh meat, etc., you will love Central Market. It gets busy as the morning moves on, so get your items early. The fudge from Uncle Leroy's Candy Kitchen and the beef sticks sold by S. Clyde Weaver are top notch. Vendors we purchased from were friendly and worked efficiently. Loved the fresh vegetable stands as well. You will need to pay for parking and watch your time closely! Allow at least an hour if you are someone who likes to peruse nearly every vendor.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true gem in the heart of Lancaster! Lancaster Central Market is not just a market—it’s a living institution. As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with the vibrant energy of local growers, bakers, butchers, and artisans who take real pride in their craft. Every vendor feels like a piece of Lancaster’s living history, and you can taste that authenticity in everything from the fresh produce and smoked meats to the handmade pretzels and Amish baked goods. It’s clean, well-organized, and full of character. The standholders are genuinely friendly and knowledgeable—no pushy sales tactics here, just people who know their products and love what they do. I especially recommend grabbing a coffee and breakfast sandwich and soaking in the atmosphere before browsing the stalls. Whether you’re shopping for groceries, souvenirs, or just want to experience a slice of Lancaster culture, this place delivers. Pro tip: get there early, bring cash, and don’t skip the fresh donuts. Five stars without hesitation—Lancaster Central Market is the real deal.

The Demuth Museum, located in Lancaster, is a dedicated space showcasing the works of Charles Demuth, an influential American modernist painter. Housed in the artist's former home and studio, the museum features a diverse collection of his art, including striking watercolor paintings and examples of Precisionist style. Visitors can also explore lush flower gardens that inspired Demuth's work.
Delightful tribute to an artist I had not encountered. Great movie, art and displays. In the words of Demuth, captured moments.
Dr. C — Google review
Excellent little museum. They have restored part of the courtyard and original gardens, planted as they were during Demuth's time. This gives visitors a glimpse into the artist's inspiration and lifestyle. Much of his work is on display, including an armchair in needlepoint which was a lovely surprise. The home includes original pieces of his studio, notions, and homewares of the time. As a parent with a toddler in tow, I appreciated the little children's cubbies throughout the home (pictured). My child also enjoyed the gardens. It is very special (and rare) to be able to visit artistic spaces where the caretakers have also thought of being welcoming to children.
Angela H — Google review
If you are ever in Lancaster City, Pennsylvania, and art is your forte. You should come to the Demuth Museum. 3 generations of the Demuth family lived here, including Charles Demuth. He was a very renowned artist taking local beauty in. His still life around his home and his vacations in Europe will leave you speechless. If you have questions, there will be someone at the desk. She has a lot of knowledge about Charles and his life. Also, there is a small 5-10 minutes movie to watch if you want to learn more.
Nick M — Google review
The museum is the artist’s home converted to display his work. I took the walking tour and it was worth every penny. The super-friendly and approachable guide has done a ton of research and provides a wealth of information and photos. He’s happy to answer any questions along the tour. We got to go inside of the family’s former tobacco shop, where we were greeted with warm sweet smell of tobacco and cabinets and drawers made of dark wood. It was like going back in time. The combination of photos, stories, and landmarks pointed out on the tour helped to develop the artist into more than just a person from history. At the end of the tour you can purchase prints, postcards, totes, tshirts and books, including one written by the tour guide. Would absolutely recommend this. To see the museum only you don’t need to purchase a ticket, but to take the tour you do.
Fmgypsy — Google review
Museum consists of 4 small rooms and a garden in the former home of Deluth. Probably took about 30 minutes total to go through, including a short documentary that plays on loop. We also did the scavenger hunt which was entertaining. Entry fee is donation only, which is appropriate considering the limited artwork. Staff was very pleasant.
Jeanette — Google review
Really interesting museum. Love the original house!

I really enjoyed The Demuth Museum. The artwork on display was very interesting. I liked the film about Demuth's life. The exhibit about drawing on the Susquehanna was very good, as well.
Raymond E — Google review
I am biased as he is a distant relative, but he was a prolific artist covering several mediums throughout his career. All very interesting in a small space!

Nestled in the tranquil woodlands of northern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Wolf Sanctuary of PA is a family-owned refuge offering guided tours and special events like Full Moon nights. Spanning over 80 acres, this sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to observe wolves and wolf-dogs in their natural habitat while serving as an educational center for wildlife conservation. Visitors can sign up for guided tours to learn more about these majestic creatures and enjoy the serene surroundings.
The guided tour was a fantastic experience. Our guide Kristen was extremely knowledgeable not only about wolves in general but also the back story of each individual wolf. This is a forever home for these wolves and most definitely not a zoo.
Elizabeth H — Google review
We went for our dad's 75th birthday on a full moon night. I would not recommend taking your older loved ones here. Hilly, gravel trails are what you walk on. We loved the enthusiasm and knowledge of the volunteers. We hated that more tickets were sold than expected (which we know helps the wolves) and we didn't get the small group tour to learn. The wolves are majestic and their howling beautiful. We did not get to see the entire sanctuary because there was not enough volunteers, that made the trails clogged with too many people. We took chairs and carried them. That sucked. You DO NOT NEED CHAIRS. There are benches and a fire pit by the gift store at the end of everything. My suggestion: bypass the moon nights and go when you can score a small group tour of the ENTIRE facility. We were thankful for all the knowledge the pony-tailed volunteer dropped on our large group of about 100 people. We appreciated the no kids under 16 rule for the moon night's too. There's such a rich, wonderful history to this place and we wanted to hear all of it. 5 stars for the wolves. 5 stars for the volunteers. 1 star for over selling tickets. Bottom line: go for a day time visit with a small group.

We actually had the pleasure of staying in one of 3 cottage's on the property. We stayed in the Paymaster's Offfice. It was an adorable cozy place that had a gas fireplace, a large air jet soaking tub, kitchenette that included a coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, cook top with two burners, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Breakfast is included with your stay and was delivered to the cottage by Maggie. Also included is a tour of the wolves. In the early morning hours, we had the pleasure of hearing a symphony of wolves. What a beautiful way to wake up. Everyone should experience it at least once. They take great care for these beautiful creatures. Our tour guide Michelle was very nice and knowledgeable about every wolf on the property. They all have a story to be told. I highly recommend going in the fall when the wolves are more active due to the cooler weather.
Alma W — Google review
I loved my visit to the Wolf sanctuary. The volunteer was awesome and he worked there for over 20 years volunteering, extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I will certainly be going back when all the leaves are down so you can have complete full visual of the wolves. The grounds are pristine and well kept. Can you tell I loved it there?
MomMom M — Google review
We did the full moon night walk. The wolves were on and off active. We learned a lot from the guides. I wish you were able to know the entertainment before booking. There was a poet our night and not live music.
Chris H — Google review
This is a really interesting place to visit. I would recommend it! It is an experience you will remember for a long time. You get to see them up close and personal. How they interact with each other and the guide does a great job explaining anything you want to know about them. You will find it educational and entertaining with guided public and private tours. Book ahead when they have limited availability. They also have a gift shop if you want a souvenir.
Dragonfly — Google review
Had a private tour with Denny this weekend and it was awesome. We got to see and learn about many of the wolves and their back stories. I would 100% recommend making the trip.

This place is incredible. The tour guides are incredibly knowledgeable, the wolves are respected and intentionally cared for, 1.5 hour out from Philly - worth the drive. Will visit again. Close to Shady Maple if you want some good food after your visit

The Mennonite Life Visitors Center is a museum that offers an immersive experience into the heritage and lifestyle of the Amish and Mennonite communities. It features informative displays, including a three-screen feature about the Amish, a walk-through exhibit, and a bookstore offering literature on their unique way of life. Additionally, visitors can explore a selection of fair-trade handicrafts from Ten Thousand Villages. One of the main attractions is the full-sized reproduction of Moses Tabernacle in the Wilderness.
I went with my son, and we liked the place. It is a good place for those who want to discover cultural, healthy and research sites. Everything is well structured and you can spend a pleasant hour, learning and sharing with the family in a healthy way, it is very accessible. I recommend it.
Angel M — Google review
We did not spend much time in the Visitors Center, rather met our tour guide here for the “country side tour”. For this tour, a local Mennonite guide will ride in your vehicle as they direct you to various locations and drive through the countryside. The tour stops are all local businesses, where you can chat with the Amish person that is likely working there. But it does not stop at any non businesses. The guide was very helpful in that he knew one of the proprietors and which opened up a nice conversation. Our guide was elderly and he could not hear our children when they asked him questions or tried to talk to him during the drive. He did have plenty of direct knowledge and experience of the Amish, perhaps less technical knowledge about some of the details (for example, which scripture supports some of the customs). The tour was good if you haven’t spent much time touring or at the local farms yet. Not great if you have.
Kimberly A — Google review
The museum was small. But very clean and well done. The selection of displays was excellent. We enjoyed it very much.
Paula K — Google review
This was my second time to schedule a tour of Amish country with a Mennonite guide who rode along with us in our car. Fay was such a sweetheart and so very knowledgeable! We appreciated her sensitivity re honoring the Amish culture and areas where they are more conservative and don’t appreciate cameras and camera phones. Please respect the Amish convictions regarding photographs. This won’t be my last tour as I love to take visitors and this is a bargain for a two hour tour.

The Mennonite Information Center is located in the heart of the Amish and Mennonite communities of Lancaster County, home of the oldest existing Amish settlement in the world. Biblical Tabernacle Reproduction Biblical history comes alive at our full-sized Biblical Tabernacle reproduction, open all year. Seen only by a guided 45-minute lecture tour. See the schedule below. Lecture Tour Schedule: April 1 to October 31 Mon-Sat, starting every hour on the hour 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (First tour begins at 10; last tour begins at 4) November and March Mon-Sat, starting every hour on the hour 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (First tour begins at 10; last tour begins at 3) December through February Mon-Sat, three times daily 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. The Biblical tabernacle reproduction was created in the late 1940s as the “Moses Tabernacle in the Wilderness,” by a Baptist minister in St. Petersburg, Florida. Mennonites later purchased the replica and eventually joined it with the Mennonite Information Center. For over 60 years this exhibit has been invaluable for students of Bible and cultural studies. Thousands of people visit the Biblical Tabernacle each year. The tabernacle replica is housed in a building with a contoured upward ceiling and an acoustically pleasing atmosphere. Presentation guides versed in the scriptural context and significance of the tabernacle and its furniture lead you in conversation from the Brazen Altar just inside the eastern gate of the courtyard to the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies. Even if you know little about Biblical history, this presentation is fascinating. But for those who know, this makes the story come to life.

Thank you for sharing information about the Mennonite faith. It was very interesting to learn, and we have a much deeper appreciation for the community now. Our family really enjoyed this visit and left uplifted.
Dustin T — Google review
We organized a tour through the Mennonite Information Center, for two cars for a group of nine people. We had two lovely tour guides (one guide for each car), and loved every minute of our tour. Our guides, Melba and Lois, were lovely and very informative. They answered all our children’s questions as we drove through Amish country, and took us to some beautiful farms, local stores and other attractions. Two hours went by so fast, but our guides offered suggestions for places we may also like to visit that we didn’t get time to see. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an Amish country tour that also offers an insider’s perspective. The gentlemen at the counter were also particularly helpful in organizing our tour and suggesting places to eat lunch. Thank you for a fabulous day!!
Melissa F — Google review
I have visited the Tabernacle several times over the past 20 years and have always thoroughly enjoyed the lecture tour. The detailed information and visual replica of the Tabernacle really makes Biblical history comes to life. I highly recommend it as a "must see" on any visit to Lancaster area.

Nature & Parks
Long's Park, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is an 80-acre public park offering a wide range of outdoor activities for families. Donated to the city by Judge Henry Grimly Long and his daughter Catherine Long in 1900, the park features a lake, petting farm, playgrounds including adaptive and sensory-friendly options for children with disabilities. Additionally, visitors can enjoy picnic pavilions, tennis courts, and a fitness trail.
We had a relaxing day at Long’s Park. There are playground areas for the kids. Picnic areas, plenty of ground to walk, beautiful Lake and many other things to do. It was peaceful. We plan to go back next time we visit Lancaster.

My friend and I went to Pennsylvania for 3 days. We discovered this park while looking up dog parks for our little furbaby. There are several ponds w fountain sprays and ducks. It is a very long and wide historic park that was once a couple’s home and they left it to the community in their will. There is many wooded areas and benches and a comfort area w a restroom, picnic benches. There is also a small building w food drinks and ice cream. We loved it and found it peaceful. 😍❤️😃

It's a very nice park. Something for everyone, a beautiful pond with ducks and two fake swans (reason?). The weather was perfect. The prices however were out of the average persons range. There were some great artists and types of art. Otherwise a very nice event.

Great park. Something for everyone here. Playgrounds, basketball courts, sand volleyball, paths to walk, lake to walk around. Many people were fishing at the lake as well. Tons of areas to set up a bbq and enjoy family time. Theres a small petting zoo. Path for to bike around on.

This place is absolutel magic! I was visiting the area and someone in passing mentioned a nearby park. I'm so glad I decided to take a long walk at Long's Park. It was peaceful and I saw people eating at picnic tables, walking, riding bikes, etc. There was also plenty of parking. Highly recommend!
Taya P — Google review
This park was great for a nice walk after breakfast. It's relaxing, quiet and beautiful. It's also really well kept. The squirrels have obviously been fed by humans as they immediately associate cars and people with food. Upon parking, several ran up to our vehicle, and we could see them at other vehicles. They also followed us and would stop in front of us waiting. They were adorable and harmless and very good at guilting us for not having food, haha. I just wanted to note that so someone isn't startled when getting out of their vehicle. The ducks are also very used to humans. They do not approach, but they do rest along the walking trail. There are several playgrounds throughout the park. There are also plenty of benches, and I will definitely return when I'm in the area.
Lynn J — Google review
It's an over populated park.. There's koi fish in the pond which have taken over unfortunately.. no sport fish in there for anybody to catch and release other than minnow sized who knows what.. there's a giant snapping turtle, leave it alone please. Keep this place cleaner than it currently is or it will soon shut down. 😒 I wish there was bass in the pond..

The Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster is a spacious venue with interactive exhibits, classes, and events tailored for children aged 2 to 10. It's a non-profit organization that believes in making learning fun through self-directed exhibits and participatory activities. The museum encourages adults to join in the play and enhance their children's visit by asking questions and letting the kids take the lead.
Our children really enjoyed this 'hands on' place that is just their size! They have a nice variety of things to do from being a "doctor" to molding things with playdoh. Older children might get bored a bit quicker but can also find it interesting.
A G — Google review
Hands on house is basically a large indoor kid’s playground with a variety of small “hands on” activities they can do. With the use of a little imagination, there is a good amount of things to play with and experience. As you enter, there are a bunch of market/fair exhibits such as a post office, ice cream truck, vets office, etc etc for the kids to play and explore. Next there is the tech lab, with an interactive oversized piano, robotic arm, projection floor games and more. The last room, helps kids envision a construction site, with interactive exhibits. There are fake cinder blocks and bricks to move around or stack. And the piece de resistance is the amazing airways wall, where you put in a scarf on one end and you get to control the air current to make the scarf travel different paths to an exit. It is well priced for a smaller museum and a great place to be when the weather doesn’t permit you to be outside. Lastly, there appeared to be an outside playground portion too, but it was too hot outside for us to comfortably explore.
Jimmy Y — Google review
Disappointing experience. It’s advertised as a kids’ playhouse, but there’s no actual playground or jungle gym. There are free public playgrounds nearby that are much larger, cleaner, and better equipped. While the inside has a decent concept, it felt dirty and overly worn. Outside was muddy, with random bricks scattered around, and nothing inviting for children to play on. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. (Photos attached.)
Bryan — Google review
We spent a rainy day here...our 2 toddlers played for 4 hours! Everything was clean and well-organized. The staff are wonderful. The snacks are very reasonably priced.
Amy G — Google review
Great place. We love it. Great for kids 3 and up. Only bad thing, and like Tiny Town, is that you pay for your kid or kids to play, but they charge for you the parent too. So instead of paying $12...it was $24 for my son and I. They also ask you to pick up and put things back, which I normally don't mind doing, but when I'm paying for myself to be there too. I look at it like the grocery store. If I go to self check out and ring up my own groceries and bag it all up...I should get paid like an employee or a heavy discount on my order. That being said this place is great for kiddos and lots of cool things here mixed with lots of play and learning. They even have a nice Art room where kids can draw, paint and do crafts. Outside they have great play area with lots to do and they even have a maze. They can play with the play houses, ride big wheels on path, go down slide, play with Tonka trucks, rock climbing and more. Overall give this place 5 stars. They really thought this place through and thinking about the kids but shouldn't be charging for parents...especially if you have multiple kids.
Stephen Y — Google review
My son really enjoyed it here. They had a lot of creative pretend play, an outside area, art space, construction zone, grocery store, tractor, and more... I would recommend it but it has its cons. One being it’s quite pricey! For my husband and I and 1 child it’s $33 ($10.50 adults, $12 kids). This place isn’t for adults so your are paying $33 for your child to enjoy it. The second about 45 minutes after opening and our arrival on a Monday a bus load of about 100 kids bombarded the place. They were older and trampled my 2.5 year old. The supervision for the other children was not great. It would have been nice to know this giant camp was coming or if hands on house had dedicated hours for campers/schools/etc known to the public so as to not go then. We drove an hour to get there and this was quite frustrating. We left shortly after their arrival. Some areas were not as clean as I would expect (dusty) and construction was also going on and not blocked off to the best of their ability with small hands (open doors, small cones children can easily go around). For those reasons I rated it a 3/10.
Kelsey A — Google review
I went on a Friday at 4pm and left at 7pm. This was my first time visiting with my kids (1 1/2 and 3) they had a blast and honestly I did too, with them. Reminded me of my childhood. I think I went at a good time because it wasn’t packed. There were about four families there. It wasn’t packed the whole time I was there. I wasn’t told I only had “one hour” either. I was a little ehh before I went because of some reviews. Everything was clean and neat inside. I noticed workers going around to clean up and disinfect. It wasn’t hot inside either. one area that is getting fixed wasn’t available (scarf shooter) but as any other place there is always something that has to be fixed. Which didn’t bother me. I love that both the men and women bathrooms have changing areas. the women’s bathroom was very clean. The outside play area was great as well. Clean and lots of things for the kids to enjoy. Overall, the inside area was my kids favorite. I will be going again with them. This is a great place for children to be creative with their imagination and be super interactive. I recommend this place for children ages 1-6.
Nicolle M — Google review
While my kids had fun. The place could use a good deep clean. I didn’t notice anyone walking around cleaning or picking up, and it seems like a lot of things go unnoticed. (Dirt/dust buildup in spots) We went on a weekday so it wasn’t too crowded, but there should still be an employee to oversee the play area since some kids were getting to rough

Kitchen Kettle Village is a historic Pennsylvania Dutch village located in Intercourse, offering a charming collection of over 40 specialty shops and restaurants. Visitors can explore rustic and artsy shops that feature an array of unique gifts, including homemade jams and jellies, handcrafted leather goods, and exquisite quilts. The village's historic buildings house quaint shops where guests can purchase homemade fudge, hand-crafted signs, high-quality quilts, and more.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kitchen Kettle Village is an absolute treasure in Lancaster County! If you love charming small towns, unique shopping, and amazing local goodies, this place has to be on your list. We spent several hours wandering through Kitchen Kettle Village, and honestly, we could have stayed even longer — there’s just so much to see and do, all conveniently located in one spot. First, let’s talk about the crafts and handmade goods. From beautiful quilts and intricate wood carvings to pottery and handwoven baskets, the craftsmanship here is top-notch. You can actually watch some artisans at work, which makes the whole experience even more special. The Jam & Relish Kitchen is a must-visit. We sampled so many jams, relishes, salsas, and butters that we lost count. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, and it’s impossible to leave without at least a few jars to take home. Deerskin Leather Shop has gorgeous handbags, belts, and accessories, all at reasonable prices for the quality. If you’re looking for unique gifts or a little treat for yourself, this is the spot. Pepper Lane Fudge & Sweets was another highlight. So many flavors of fudge, plus other candies and chocolates — perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. The Olive Basin was a surprise gem, with rows of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars you can taste before buying. The staff here were super knowledgeable and helped us find some fantastic pairings. Village Handmade and Village Soap Company both caught my eye with beautiful soaps, candles, and home décor — all handmade and surprisingly affordable. Perfect places to pick up a souvenir or gifts that feel special and unique. Beyond shopping, there’s live music, beautiful flowers and landscaping, and a real sense of community and charm throughout the village. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has that cozy, small-town vibe that makes Lancaster County so special. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and craftsmanship you’re getting, and it’s wonderful having so many different shops all located in one easy-to-walk village. You can shop, snack, and stroll to your heart’s content without ever needing to get back in your car. Kitchen Kettle Village is a perfect day trip destination, whether you’re shopping for gifts, stocking your pantry with delicious local treats, or just enjoying the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back — there’s still so much more to explore! Highly, highly recommend.

This is such a fun spot! We stopped here while on a trip to Lancaster. It's a great place to walk around with lots of little shops for all kinds of different things. Everything is decorated so nicely. We got some desserts from Jam & Relish Kitchen and they were so good. There's plenty of parking and a great view of the surrounding farmland.

Kitchen Kettle Village is a must-visit in Lancaster County. It feels like a charming little town of its own, filled with specialty shops, homemade foods, and unique gifts you won’t find anywhere else. From leather goods and crafts to fudge, kettle corn, and baked treats, there’s something for everyone. The highlight is the jam and relish kitchen where you can watch jams being made and sample dozens of flavors. Everything tastes fresh and authentic, and it’s nearly impossible to leave without taking some home. There are also plenty of food stands and sit-down dining options, making it easy to spend hours here. What really makes the experience special is the atmosphere and the people. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the whole place has a relaxed, small-town feel. Whether you’re shopping, eating, or just wandering, Kitchen Kettle Village is the perfect place for a day trip with family or friends

Kitchen Kettle Village is such a charming place to visit! All the shops are within walking distance, the Amish baked goods are delicious, and there are so many unique handmade items to explore. As someone who crochets, I loved stopping into the yarn shop, such a highlight!

Kitchen Kettle Village was such a fun and charming stop! There were so many shops to explore — from homemade treats to handcrafted decor — and even some of the cutest little Airbnbs right on-site. I could’ve taken home so many snacks and goodies, but the semi can only hold so much 😂 We still managed to bring back a few favorites! The fudge-making was so fun to watch (and taste!), and the pretzels, ice cream, and kettle corn are absolute must-tries. It made for such a nice, relaxing afternoon in the heart of Amish Country, and we can’t wait to come back again soon! 🛍️🍦🌾

I wanted to share my thoughts on my most recent visit to Kitchen Kettle Village, which truly feels like a home away from home for me. My sister and I have been visiting for over six years, and I even came here as a child with my parents. I particularly enjoy the jams and delicious cookies, especially the soft molasses and gingerbread varieties. Kitchen Kettle Village is a wonderful place to visit with family and friends. I appreciate that the Amish countryside has retained its charm over the years and that the community continues to uphold its traditions. The rooms are always clean and ready early for us.

Loved our visit to The Village Kitchen! The Jam and Relish Kitchen is my favorite, so many great jars of all kinds of food. Love the cookies and they have vintage candy too. Be sure to grab some caramel corn from the Papaya Kettle Corn Shoppe (so good!). And don’t miss the Christmas shop Grand Place (family owned and operated) such a fun place to wander and check out Christmas Nativity sets from all around the world. Tip: make sure you go upstairs or you will miss it. There is also a donut shop across the street. Walk down Pepper Lane and cross the Newport Road and ask for the wedding donut at the M&A Sweet treats. They have lots of Amish pastries. Can’t wait to go back!

Lancaster Brewing Company is an award-winning brewery and brewpub that offers a relaxed dining experience and brew room tours. The venue features clean, open rooms with wooden furnishings and a tree-shaded deck for outdoor seating. Guests can enjoy microbrew samplers of eleven different Lancaster Brewing Company beers on tap, along with adventurous American cuisine such as grilled lamb burgers, amber ale battered fish and chips, and blackened North Atlantic Salmon.
I used to work across the street and would get the lamb burger and fries every Friday. It’s been years so I don’t get to eat there often. Ordered the Pittsburgh Steak Salad through Door Dash the other day. I wish there was more shredded cheese and dressing included, but the quality did not disappoint and I’ll continue to order from them. Great food and the Lancaster restaurant itself is super cute, good atmosphere, excellent staff. When I lived in Harrisburg I’d eat and order at the one there too. Harrisburg location not as good as the Lancaster location, never been to the one out Route 30.

Great selection of food and locally brewed beer. We tried a mixed flight, very reasonable price and serving size. Also had a few samples. Did not have a single beer that was not delicious. They definitely know what they are doing. If you like light and flavorful, try the Lancaster Lager. Like something a bit sweet and dark with a long finish? Try the Shoofly Porter. She had the Reuben, delicious take on a time honored classic. He had the fish and chips. Everything cooked just right. They have an outdoor patio, but it was pouring rain when we went there. So we ate inside. 🙂 Highly recommend Lancaster Brewing Company, and will definitely return!

My mushroom Swiss burger was professionally prepared with a hint of charbroil which gave it an extra level of flavor. I was surprised I ate more than two fries as I had promised them to my husband. I am not sure how they prepared them but I did eat more than my normal. I was super happy that this brewery offers more than beer. I was thrilled to order a cup of coffee. The menu has a lovely mix of dining options. I have included a menu in my pictures. This Brewery is featured on the Discovery Lancaster Brew Trail. Grab your friends or family and enjoy a a pleasant dining experience.

I'm so glad we found LBC this past weekend! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We got the crab dip and pot stickers and we're very impressed with both the flavor and sheer quantity 👌 I was a bit hesitant on the $12 uncharged for steak on my Greek salad but that all changed when I saw that it was an entire sirloin cooked to perfection. Definitely would recommend

Our server Lindsey was exceptional and made our visit very enjoyable—she was great, bringing us multiple samples and giving many recommendations. Cocktails were amazing and we drank several varieties of beer (after all the samples😂) all were very good. We only had a few apps, pretzel, buffalo cauliflower and hummus platter but all were very good with ample portions. Also nice carry out beer selection and priced well. My only recommendation would be some music on the patio but I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Nestled in the heart of the village, Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market is a bustling hub for locally sourced produce, meats, cheeses, and artisanal goods from over 30 Lancaster County vendors. The market also features the renowned Bird-in-Hand Bakery & Cafe offering an array of freshly baked treats.
If you're anywhere near Lancaster County, do yourself a favor and carve out some time to visit the Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market. This well-sized Amish market is packed with both delicious food and unique goods. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an abundance of enticing food options—everything from fresh smoothies and shakes to handmade candies, soft pretzels, and an impressive variety of baked goods. We're talking pies, breads, cookies, cakes—you name it. And what’s great is that many of these treats are offered by multiple vendors, so you can sample and compare. Beyond the sweets, there are plenty of savory delights too. We found stalls with fresh fruits and vegetables, rich and creamy cheeses, and butchers offering everything from deli meats to fresh cuts and a huge selection of jerkies. One highlight was a store featuring an extensive variety of nut butters—perfect for sampling and discovering something new. But it’s not just a food lover’s paradise. The market also features a wide range of non-food items including beautiful quilts, handmade clothing, hats, bags, wooden signs, toys, tools, and more. It truly feels like you can find a bit of everything here. While we didn’t get to explore the downstairs Farmers Market Gift Shop on this trip, it appeared to have larger handcrafted furniture and rockers—likely made with the high level of craftsmanship the Amish are known for. In short, Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market is a warm, welcoming place with something for everyone. I only wish we had more time to explore the whole market. We'll definitely be back!

Kind of a mixed bag. Best Meat and cheese I've ever had. Wonderful! Huge heads of cabbage and tomatoes. However, prices ranged from good (meat/cheese) to outrageous (fresh produce, candy, baked goods). We watched one vendor scoop handfuls of loose candy from a big commercial box 6 into small plastic containers giving it the 'homemade' vibe. I'm sure some of it is Amish made, but overall it gave the sense of "buy in bulk, repackage & wear Amish clothing to get your premium price." don't go here expecting an Amish market (we walked in to Elton John's rocket man on the sound system), and the few who seemed authentic were certainly not friendly.

This was my first time trying shoo-fly pie so I wanted to get it homemade somewhere in Amish country. It was really good; not sickeningly sweet like some gooey pies can be. The ice cream was good too. The coffee was just okay. Next door is an awesome vintage/antique/handmade store with two stories, full of cute vintage books, jewelry, decor, kitchenware, clothes, stickers, and more. I could wander around for hours!

Several friends had recommended this place to me before my trip, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations ✨. First of all, their signature dessert, the shoo-fly pie, is simply delicious. I'd never tried it before, and in fact, it's what they make you taste as soon as you walk in. I later learned it's the most traditional dessert of Dutch Pennsylvania 🥧. The place has a small front parking lot, but there's a large parking lot in the back, which I recommend 🅿️. From the outside, the place is very picturesque and ideal for taking photos with the windmill. Upon entering, you realize it's not just a bakery but also sells all kinds of souvenirs, furniture, and home decor. What we liked most were the Amish crafts; they're simply beautiful, so we took several things home with us. The service was also very friendly and patient. We asked many questions, and they always answered us with a smile. Oh, and one more thing: the place has bathrooms 🚻. I recommend stopping by and checking out this lovely place. ✅

Any time I am within an hour of this place, I make the drive to get a cup of root beer and a shoo fly pie! I grew up experiencing the magic of this area of PA and now I get to pass that on to my kiddo. There is something so comforting about that darn pie! This time I also grabbed some delicious jams and apple butter and my son got a pencil sharpener that has a globe that spins on it he really likes. The trail was as enjoyable as it was challenging. Would definitely recommend to wear hiking boots, as steep parts were slippery to hike in normal running shoes. The walk down the river was rough and rugged, but absolutely worth the view at the end.

Breathtaking Views and Vibrant Fall Colors Pinnacle Overlook is absolutely beautiful! The view overlooking the Susquehanna River is simply stunning especially in the fall when the trees burst into a mix of gold, orange, and red. The landscape feels peaceful and picturesque, offering plenty of great photo opportunities. It can get quite busy considering the size and location, so parking and finding a quiet spot can take a little patience. Still, the beauty of the overlook more than makes up for it. Nice pet store that is well stocked with merchandise, including a variety of food options for all types of animals. The associates are very nice and helpful. It could use more freshwater tanks but the prices on the products are competitively priced.
This is the absolute best fish/pet supply store. I mean, in the world. And I’ve been to a lot with my kids. I couldn’t believe the selection of insects or fish, both saltwater and freshwater. This place is hands-down the best fish store I’ve ever visited. The tanks are spotless, the fish are healthy, and the staff are knowledgeable. You’ll walk out inspired. Duck unrelated.

I had never stopped at this store before and honestly never thought I would, but wow — it does not disappoint. The selection of fish is incredible, and the store is even dog friendly. The staff was very nice, and even though we didn’t end up buying anything, it was amazing to see all the different types of exotic fish they have available. When I’m ready to set up a fish tank, I’ll definitely be coming back — and bringing my dog along to pick out a toy.

What an awesome store. They have everything you could ever think of for your pet. It's pet friendly, and not to mention, the employees are super knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back.

My favorite place to visit when I travel to PA… Employees are knowledgeable and friendly. There is a large variety of animals from many different species, as well as the things needed to care for them and keep them healthy. The best part of my visits is THE STINGRAY TOUCH TANK! I have never seen a pet store, other than this one, that has a lagoon filled with stingrays. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been! *interesting place to visit *family friendly *leashed pet friendly.

We went with our 2 grandchildren ages 5 and 3. They loved looking at the many varieties of fish. It happened to be kids week so they were having special events: scavenger hunt, feed the fish, fish for free prizes, paint a sea creature and more. Great staff.

Such a great pet store! They have so much for all of your little animal friends. Staff always ready to help and friendly. Check out is pretty quick also. Love the touch tank it's so neat! The fish room is amazing, they have so many kinds of fish. Reptile room is awesome too! If you haven't been here yet come check it out!

Ive never left a review of a store before today but someone needed to made aware of this I picked up a Mexican rose grey sling “kit” and I had figured I’d redo the enclosure when I got it home but the state of this spiders enclosure was disgusting there was 1/4 of compacted sand at the bottom and the rest of the enclosure was packed full of moss where it could barely move, these spiders need soil to hide in and room to move in there enclosure. Even if that’s just how they got the spider and they didn’t redo the tank this poor spider is disgustingly overweight and clearly has been being overfed so bad in fact that when I first moved it out of the enclosure to redo it that it could barely move without my help, and although most of the other spiders and reptiles didn’t look like there conditions were too bad this specific sling was in terrible conditions. The store was also busier than a zoo with children running and screaming everywhere but I’m aware that’s not the employees fault it was just extremely excessive.

Wonderful art gallery that is free to enter for all. Easy to get into, and some really great art to view there. There are new staff really to tell you about the art or direct you, I just college kids to watch that you don’t touch the art. Worth checking out once in a while if you are in the area or at F & M for an event.

Each venue showcases a rich tapestry of local artistry, featuring everything from stunning paintings and intricate sculptures to unique jewelry pieces.
We had a wonderful experience. Rented the upstairs room for a hour for a 50th birthday. All 9 of us did a planter, plenty of containers, plants and accessories to choose from. She gave great details how to put your planter together. Everyone was super kind and helpful. It is decorated beautifully, we would highly recommend stopping here.

The Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley is located in northern Lancaster County and is housed in an 1868-69 Victorian mansion known as the Connell Mansion. The museum features thirteen rooms of exhibits that interpret the history of the historic house and the Cocalico Valley.
I had the most wonderful experience at the Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley, specifically with Cynthia Marquet. I was looking to find a local business from the 1980s and Cynthia went above and beyond researching (with very little information I was able to provide!) and sending me lots of information, newspaper clippings, and other relevant information about the restaurant. Cynthia found everything in just a few short hours and personally emailed me her findings. This was for a Christmas gift I am planning for my boyfriend’s mother, and she made it extra special!! I am so grateful for her work and the work of the Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley.

My ancestors arrived in the 1700s from Germany and settled in the Cocalico Valley. I've been researching the various families for a decade, even making a trip to Ephrata from Colorado for hands-on research. The librarian (you know who you are) has been so helpful to me on more than one occasion, going so far as to continue the search after I left. When I was searching again two years later she quickly found what I needed and fleshed out the circumstances from two hundred years ago, making the past come alive. Not everything is on the internet - make a trip to your Historical Society!

Echo Dell Indian Echo Caverns is a must-see destination near Hershey, offering impressive limestone formations, underground lakes, and a gem mill. The well-preserved caverns are beautifully lit and off-limits for touching to ensure their conservation. Visitors can also enjoy petting and feeding animals outside the caverns, explore the large gift shop, and engage in gem mining activities. The guided tours prioritize safety while providing fascinating insights into the caves' history.
Really fun place, especially on a hot day! The cavern isn’t difficult to walk through and there aren’t many sections that might trigger claustrophobia. The property is beautifully maintained with fun animals and activities. Cute gift shop too!
Jenae H — Google review
Was very informative. Kids thought it was cool to see but talking was too much. They crowd the tours a little maybe 20/30 minutes in-between would be better then 15 minutes. The caverns are beautiful. The petting zoo is goats and 1 alpaca.
Mj — Google review
I really enjoyed visiting the cave. There are some springs with beautiful blue water, and the lighting inside makes it look stunning. What I found especially interesting is that we didn’t have to go deep underground—the cave is right by the river. Overall, it was a really fascinating experience!
Iryna S — Google review
This was a fantastic discovery along the way. The guided tour is very informative and fun at the same time.our guide pointed out to different types of rock formations, explained the creation of the caverns and told us stories about the rocks, their names and uses of the caverns. Well worth the hour of the tour. Note - leave your bags and backpacks in your car before going to the caverns.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem Beneath Hummelstown – Indian Echo Caverns From the moment you descend into the cool, echoing heart of the Indian Echo Caverns, it’s clear you’ve stepped into something extraordinary. This isn’t just a cave tour — it’s a time capsule carved by millions of years and told with passion by guides who actually know their geology and local folklore. The formations inside are stunning — stalactites and stalagmites that look sculpted by divine hands, with a natural cathedral chamber that practically begs for a moment of silent awe. The history? Rich and real. From Native American lore to 19th-century hermits, every footstep tells a story. The grounds are clean, family-friendly, and surprisingly well-kept for a site of this age. Even the gift shop felt curated rather than kitschy. It’s rare to find an attraction that blends science, storytelling, and raw natural beauty so seamlessly. If you’re within 100 miles of Hummelstown, go. This isn’t a tourist trap — it’s a well-managed, respectfully preserved slice of the Earth’s ancient past.
Eddie F — Google review
Nicely set up. Guide Chris was amazing and a great story teller . Plenty of parking . There is about 71 steep steps to get to the cavern and up, so absolutely no strollers, wheelchairs or people with walking disability. Cavern is not as big as some other we been and not as beautiful , but still worth to have a day with family . 52’F in a cavern , so not too cold and long sleeve will do just fine . The cost is $24.50 per adult .they do have discounts for kids and seniors. They also have goats , lama, turkey , peacock etc, so you can bring carrots , apples , lettuce to feed them , they also have a dry feeder that cost $0.50 for a small portion.
Olga M — Google review
A little mythical, a little factual, and a little off-putting. The cavern is beautiful. When you arrive, you notice two large beautiful birds- peacocks, in a cage that disallows them to fly or spread their wings much. On a day like today, when it was scorching (95 degrees F) the birds just sat on their perch in their cage like exhibits when they deserve much better. You take approx 75 steps down to the cave and back up. It’s 52 degrees F with dripping throughout, so you may want to bring a light jacket, but it’s a great escape on a hot day. Some people had a tour guide walk them down to the cavern providing history. We did not. Our tour guide was waiting at the cavern for us. He was knowledgeable about the caverns and provided many details and answered questions. Part of the tour was spent telling mythical stories about a mummy, a dragon, and a giant— the kids enjoyed that. There was some history and facts shared about the caverns. It’s small, unique, and pretty. The tour lasted about 30 minutes. It is slippery, with some low formed rocks (watch your head) with minimal walking- maybe a half mile total. No backpacks or strollers permitted. Front facing child carriers permitted. There was plenty of parking, a gift shop, gem mining, a few animals to pet.
Sharee M — Google review
What a wonderful little experience! The caves are way bigger than I expected, and the tour was full of knowledge and fun facts. Absolutely recommend this if you're anywhere near.

Lititz Springs Park is a well-maintained community park with a rich history and various attractions. It features stone waterways fed by underground limestone springs, providing a picturesque setting for leisurely walks and duck watching. The park hosts regular concerts and the town's annual 4th of July celebration, drawing large crowds. Families often visit the park to enjoy its playgrounds, concession stands, and dog-friendly environment.
Love this park and it’s a big part of why I love living in Lititz. This park is truly a gem, as are all of the dedicated volunteers who keep it being such a treasure for the community. Lititz is incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful park AND an amazing community of people who keep it. It isn’t every community that has something so nice right in the middle of town. What you make of it is on you.

Great park in a great town. Today we saw a live performance of "Swing" performed by Servants Stage. It was music, dance and awesome singing. The park has an excellent band shell, along with a concession stand, picnic pavilions and restrooms. The stream runs through the park and is home to dozens of ducks. A fun place to visit.
Daryl H — Google review
It's a perfect place for family picnics, there are tables with benches, peaceful environment with squirrels and ducks, and free parking. The Lititz Spring park is quite small and it's actually surprising how many different impressions that place can fit. There are ponds and canals for ducks. There is a church near by with beautiful flowers. There are sounds of organ coming from time to time to the park (maybe from the church). There are some nice cafes around (I recommend New Holland). It's a good place to relax and talk to your family outside your house.

Lititz Spring Park is a charming space with lush greenery and serene fountain. The Reading caboose station was a fun photo op. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy; watching the ducks swim by was delightful. There is free parking. Highly recommend for a peaceful stroll!

Never been to a park before tailor made for ducks. Good size park for being in the center of a town. Has plenty of green area and trees, 2 huge covered outdoor picnic facilities and a man made stream running through it. They take advantage of the gentle slope and have 2 big ponds at both ends. The ducks take notice and flock there to sit and drift all day long. Unique.

This is a cute park where you can sit back and relax or learn some history with the caboose museum. Feed some ducks or let your kids unwind in the playground . There is a gazebo for a party and baseball field .

It’s always been my favorite park since first visiting last year for the July 4th. There’s an extremely small but cute farmers market every Thursday (which more places should def get in on this so can have more shoppers supporting small businesses!) it’s always so clean, the ducks are so cute and chill and they aren’t those pesky Canadian geese, they are actual real ducks lol. What’s missing is a dog park/area, splash zone for kids, and a secured way to get into the park from the residents in the buildings next to it. I do enjoy all the pokemon Go community things that happen, there should be more little festivals! It’s such a big place with a amphitheater even

Best park ever! We've spent 3 days from opening time to closing time. It was amazing. Staff is friendly, corteous and efficient. Park is very clean, safe and well maintained. Lots of options for eating, buying souvenir s, etc. We had a wonderful time there.

We had a good time. We had my 2yr old and 5 yr old with is and didn't want to do the whole Hershey Park thing with them that young. This proved to be a good substitute. We purchased the Unwrapped and Build Your Own Candy Bar experiences. It was a fun experience to build your candy bag, choose ingredients, design your wrapper, and watch it go down the belt and be built in front of your eyes. My girls loved it. I only give it 4 stars because while it was a good experience, it wasn't amazing. No core memories being developed here. But still good fun.

Fun experience, definitely good for little kids. We got here early and we didn't have to wait for anything. Lots of parking and adequate handicap parking. Buildings are very wheelchair and walker friendly. The staff were wonderful in accommodating our party that had one person in a wheelchair. Everyone was very friendly. Seemed to be enjoying their jobs and plenty of staff to handle the crowds and registers. LOTS of different candy. Some things I didn't know existed. Much better prices than you can get in a retail store. We enjoy the activities though some are definitely for kids. The male your own candy bar was enjoyed by all The parking fee was $60 but because we had bought a bundle package of things to do they waved the parking fee.

Had a fantastic time at Hershey’s Chocolate World! It’s such a fun spot for families, couples, or anyone with a sweet tooth. The free chocolate tour ride is a must — it’s surprisingly well done with music, moving cows, and the smell of cocoa filling the air. You even get a sample at the end, which is always a win. The gift shop is massive, packed with every kind of Hershey treat you can imagine, from giant chocolate bars to themed souvenirs. Definitely plan to check out the make-your-own candy bar experience if you have time — it’s a little pricey but worth it for the fun and customization. The 4D movie and tasting experience are great options too if you want to make a full afternoon out of it. Parking is easy, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere just feels happy and nostalgic. Perfect stop whether you’re visiting Hersheypark or just in town for the day.

A very unique place! I hadn't been here in probably 20 years. My granddaughters love it. There is a ride that takes you through the process of making the candy. It can be a little expensive but I feel it is well worth it because of where you are and that it is so unique.

Root's Country Market & Auction, the oldest single family-run country market in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, has a rich history dating back to 1925 when it started as a poultry auction. Today, it has become a cherished part of Lancaster County's heritage and offers an array of fresh food, family-friendly activities, and diverse items for sale.
I found myself in Lancaster today. And decided to stop in at this farmers market. When I got there the parking was very easy . And access was easy. The over whelming amount of businesses of just about every you can think of was amazing. Beautiful vegetables, And meats abound here . I actually met an amazing woman named June who owns Bdazzle Jewelry whose Jewelry was amazing. I spent at least 20 minutes talking to this beautiful and friendly lady as she explained all her beautiful handmade items to me . This seems to be the way I found most of the vendors to be here . Luckily I only came with a certain amount of cash because I could have really went overboard spending on all the wonderful items and food I found. Bring cash , Most vendors don’t take cards so be prepared. I actually don’t know why I’ve only been here once . Since it’s only 1/2 hr away from my home. I very highly recommend. I will definitely be going back. But be aware it does get a bit crowded so going early is recommended

I mean what is there to say? It another awesome Amish Market/Flea market. A vast array of foods to choose from to eat there or take home. It's very much like Green Dragon in, Ephrata but slightly smaller. Same kind of set of stalls wise. Always great to get Amish pretzels. Looking for soap that's cheap and also smells great? Go here. They have it all.

One of the best Farmers Markets in Lancaster County! Only happens on Tuesdays but has so many options to choose from. If you’re hungry in between shopping for produce, meats, cheeses or desserts there are numerous food stands: Hoagies, Seafood/ Fish sandwiches, sit down Amish home cooked meal or a sit down place called Farmers Table. There are Whoopie Pies, Shoefly Pies, funnel cakes, pit barbecued pork, ice cream and more!!! Kettle style popcorn, a huge candy selection as well. There are plant auctions, poultry/livestock auctions. Parking is free but it gets busy but always a parking spot somewhere!
Cynthia T — Google review
It's a big farmer's market with some stores and businesses, too. There are a lot of Amish sellers there and a lot of them do not take cards. So, if you go there, be prepared to have cash. I bought two belts from one of the Amish booths and had to go to an ATM and pay extra fee for the withdrawal. I was particularly surprised to see that Amish do not call their produce organic. I intentionally asked a few of them about it and none of them gave a positive reply. To end on a good note, at the entrance, they sell varieties of ice-cream of a very good quality. I was attracted to a beer ice-cream but decided not have it before a long drive :)
Aleksei K — Google review
This place is awesome and has something for everyone. There are outside and inside vendors everywhere. The outside vendors just go on and on so be prepared to walk. The outside vendors were very polite and attentive. It was incredibly windy when we went but they still remained happy to help even with there wares blowing everywhere. They have old and new items that are unique and interesting, crafts, seasonal items, and really something for everyone. My only gripe is that this one starts very early, many vendors will leave early, some leave as early as 11 but more will leave by 1pm. So I'd say get there early, it might also help to be the crowds that will be there l, especially on Tuesday. Saturday is actually a bit calmer if you don't want the huge crowds but its a bit smaller with the outside vendors. The inside buildings also have stores that have everything from toys, Pokémon cards, homemade goods and crafts like soaps and candles and other items, and other unique knick knacks, tools, and other useful items. The vendors here are also polite and attentive. Many stores here are open to 8pm, so I'd recommend going outside first. You can also participate in a live auction if something catches your eye. Just know it goes by a bit slow if there are a lot of items. So if the item you want is at the end of the list, it might take a while, good news is there is so much else to do. There are also animals for sale if that is your thing. Now I wanted to do the food separately as there is so much going on. Both inside and outside vendors sell fresh produce and other seasonal items. On the inside you can also get fresh meats as well. Then you can also find things like candy, packaged goods, delis for sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers, chicken, and other cooked meals, they even have a sit down restaurant. Amish goods are also found inside, so prepare your sweet tooth. Outside also has a wide variety of great places. You can get great fries, pretzels, to things like pit beef, brisket, pulled pork and other BBQ items. They have shakes and a good coffee place as well. The main outside area to enjoy your meal usually has some live music playing. When we were there a great musician was playing. He was there for the full time we were there, (5hrs,) and sounded great the whole time. I found the place clean, (even the bathroom,) and friendly and there really is something for everyone. A little bonus if you have kids or just love alpacas, there is a alpaca farm just next door that is usually open when the market is going on. Remember, get there early!

Sights & Landmarks
Nestled near Strasburg, The Li'l Country Store & Miniature Horse Farm is a charming Amish farm offering an array of delightful experiences. The country store boasts homemade treats like root beer and blackberry juice, as well as locally crafted quilts and gifts. Visitors can also explore the Stoltzfus woodworking shop to witness the creation of custom frames.
My family and I stopped by while visiting some other attractions in Lancaster Pa and I absolutely loved this place. Wow…the horses, alpacas and goats truly made my day. My children and grand daughter also enjoyed the visit. I love that you can just freely roam and walk around to the animals. There is no charge and they have a honesty system in place if you would like to buy food to feed the animals. Pick up your treats and place your money in the box! Will return again and every time I visit Lancaster!

What a great place to stop in with your kids to hang out with some mini horses, alpacas, horses etc. it was all free you just had to make a small donation if you wanted to feed the animals. You get to feed the horses goats alpacas and there's even a cute cat that hangs out there. Pick up some Amish souvenirs for a great price.

Great place!! Nice Amish farm with country gift shop, miniature horses and other animals, stroll along the path at your leisure. Enjoy some ice cream in a hot summer day
Lisa J — Google review
We were delighted to learn that walking a section of their farm was free, and we could pet the goats and horses that would come to the fence. They had multiple baby horses and baby goats when we went, and they were all adorable. We were very thankful to finally pet some of the animals we just kept seeing everywhere, and for free! And their country store was a great little stop, and we tried some of their homemade drinks (root beer and lemonade). They also had fresh homemade cheeses, pretzels, and were serving ice cream as well.

This is a lovely place to interact and feed farm animals. Their store is stocked with local, handmade food and house decorations. Our family stopped by several times and the children enjoyed the pony rides.
Jacob J — Google review
We visited yesterday and had a delightful time. The woman who is in charge of the pony rides has a kind heart and the farm itself is absolutely beautiful and deeply peaceful. The animals are taken care of and are loved.

We had such a wonderful time bringing our two-year-old to the horse farm! She loved every part of the experience — from brushing and feeding the horses to riding and going for a cart ride. Even with the windy weather, she had an absolute blast. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area, situated on the Lebanon-Lancaster County line in Pennsylvania, is a vast natural area dedicated to the conservation and management of wildlife. Spanning over 5,000 acres, it provides habitats for waterfowl, forest wildlife, and farmland wildlife. The area features a 400-acre shallow water lake and a 70-acre impoundment. Visitors can witness stunning flocks of tundra swans during migration season from November to March.
The park is beautiful!!! A ton of parking! The kids and I are doing the “Go Lancaster” and it was hard to find the trail since we never been to this park before. The instructions wasn’t very clear!! But asking around did help a lot and having a map of the park REALLY helps us. Once we found the trail “Spice Bush trail” that was a mission to find the post! It’s NOT an easy trial for kids! Very rocky, and swampy. We will return to the main park but not to Spice Bush Trail. lol

Highly suggest the 1.4 mile ‘circle’ hike - trailhead starts at the museum and the trail is well marked. An easy hike with great views and beautiful flowers/trees, often marked for identification. The museum is great for children and adults alike, with many interactive exhibits to discover and learn. A recent edition highlights the history of the Pennsylvania Game Commission and how their conservation responsibilities and work have grown and changed over the years. Again, a must-see museum and hike for an easy 2-4 hour trip.
Tom K — Google review
Going back 5 years ago, I remember this building was in construction. After I got word that this building and place is a must-see to go back to, i decided to give a try. I walked in, and there was so much knowledge on Pennsylvania wildlife and the displays of aviary species here in the area. I was also astonished by the history of state game lands and rangers and learned so much. You should definitely check this place out!

I went here on Good Friday since I had off from work and it was a beautiful day. I parked in Lancaster County in the lot on Mountain Spring Rd. It’s a small lot but there were only a few cars there. I did the loop counter clock wise, starting along the creek. Since I always prefer trails along water, I loved this part of the loop. I took the blue Explorer trail which leads towards the reservoir. I stopped by the small museum and sat outside which backs to the reservoir. There were only a handful of people there. I wish I would have known about this place when my kids were small, they would have enjoyed it. It’s interactive learning. I also walked the conservation trail. Then I connected to the loop again and went back to the parking lot via the Elders Run trail. This trail is not as exciting, although there are a few old foundations right off the trail. Parts of the trails are muddy but there are wooden platforms and log rounds to step on. I don’t go to this part of the county often, I didn’t realize how nice it is.
Michelle R — Google review
Totally beautiful place. Absolutely worth visiting. This was some of the best fall foliage I've ever seen. The lake is beautiful. The landscape is incredible. The trails are well marked and so relaxing. The only thing I would caution is the wooden walkways (only for some potions of the trails) are very slippery when wet, but this is to be expected. But most were easy to just walk next to as well. Seriously awesome place.
Griffin R — Google review
Great place to bring the young kids and family. Inside lots to do and explore for the kids and outside lots of beautiful views and nice and very easy trails around. We had a great time together and will be coming back in near future.

Lancaster is very lucky to have a gem like Middle Creek in the county! This property, managed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission, is a 6,000-acre preserve with 20 miles of hiking trails and numerous vantage points of the Middle Creek Reservoir. It is famous for the snow geese that visit every year during their migration, but Middle Creek offers beautiful access to nature and great birding no matter what time of year you visit.
Rainer B — Google review
Enveloped in a celestial tapestry, the expanse unfolded in pristine splendor, meticulously stewarded by the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Initially, Google’s guidance ushered us to the visitor’s center, yet a whisper of adventure beckoned us further. Beyond lay a winter’s dream—a field aglow, not with snow, but with a congregation of snow geese. These winged marvels, nature’s own artisans, painted the landscape with their presence, faithfully returning to grace the lake’s tranquil waters each year. The Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area transformed into a living canvas, a spectacle of serenity and natural wonder that captivated the soul and etched a mesmerizing memory.

Visitors can explore these historical features while attending public conventions, competitions, or other events held at the venue. Additionally, nearby attractions such as the Historic Lancaster Walking Tour and Bodywise Center for Wellbeing provide opportunities for leisure activities.
Went for Zenkaikon and loved the space! There are a few parking garages nearby so parking was easy. The layout of the convention center was nice too and easy to navigate. Plenty of space for the event, it didn't feel overcrowded. Many walkable places to eat. It was my first year attending this con & I can't wait to go back! Thanks for having us!

Historicon annual convention for miniature war gaming. Offers many events for senior gamers and newcomers alike. Also, accommodations are fairly great. The lower floor offers vendors for selling wares regarding miniature war gaming and multi-scale modeling. Local businesses offer different varieties of restaurants to accommodate meal needs. Subway and 211 Pizzeria are nearby, and both have good customer service. 211 Pizzeria employees were very friendly.

I went to LNP media job fair, it was really helpful, but parking's a pain, it's all paid street parking.
Salaadino — Google review
I am conflicted with what review to leave, considering the convention center itself is fine. I have come here the past 3 years for pride and it's been great. It's appropriately sized with some nice quiet spots to get away from the hustle and bustle. My main issue is the Starbucks. In my 24 years of being alive, I don't think I've ever received a drink that bad. My friend and I ordered a pink drink, and it was essentially water with the tiniest bit of strawberry flavoring. My other friend ordered a frappe with foam, and more than half their drink was foam. All 3 drinks were almost immediately thrown out. The convention center is great, the Starbucks not so much. I understand this is more of a Starbucks issue than anything. I encourage others to find drinks from one of the local shops down the street or by visiting a proper Starbucks around the corner.

Standing room only, and plenty of it for those who wish to pit and those who can't get tossed like ragdolls. :) High ceiling, very easily accessed restrooms, and quick entry. Pretty smooth setup for any show.
Nicole L — Google review
Hey look! It's 815pm and I'm still outside when the doors opened at 6pm. Made it in finally at 840pm. Missed all the opening acts and heard the last song or two by Pennywise. Sound wasn't great. Iffy venue. Not sure I'd go here again. Also, the security was outside making tiktoks or something mocking the line.
Kathy R — Google review
Decent space, but the convention center staff and management took several days to fix basic problems like scalding hot water in the sinks and turning on or up lights that made using the space difficult to borderline dangerous. The food services were so-so at best or awful for the exorbitant prices. Has potential, but there's GLARING problems with management for these reported problems to have taken so long to fix.

Very knowledgeable guides and the tour is free. We spent about an hour learning about the family and history of the mill. Fun to see the mill grind corn and the guides were very good at engaging and answering questions!
Alexander W — Google review
Very cool and interesting history! The guides were so thorough and nice and answered all our questions, you really do have to come back to learn even more. You don’t think it’d be super interesting (at least I didn’t) but the stories and history are worth learning. I won’t spoil anything-just come see for yourself!
Emma W — Google review
This old mill was pretty cool. It's still in working order and the guide even turned the machines on for our group to see! Parking is a little tight. I parked on the other side of the road by the park. There is also is the house they grew up and lived in to tour. Just a neat way to travel back in time and see how people lived. Definitely recommend. There also isn't a entry fee not sure if they ask for donations. I wasn't asked when I was there. Kid friendly.

The Conewago Recreation Trail, a 5-mile former rail line, offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, running, cycling, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing. It connects with the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail to form a 19-mile network. The trail features shaded areas along the Conewago Creek and is suitable for easy recreation. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy meadows, trees, and creeks while birdwatching or horseback riding.
A beautiful 5 mile rail trail that is level, well-graded, and follows along the Conewago Creek. It is adjacent to some farmland, but primarily runs through wooded areas that occasionally offer glimpses of the Conewago Creek. The trail is a calm and beautiful walk that is one of the best spots in this part of the county to enjoy nature.
Rainer B — Google review
Great trail! Very well maintained and lots of shady portions! Wide enough for walkers, runners, and bicycles!
Earl D — Google review
stay away from this horribly maintained county rail trail. The pathway consist of very sharp 1 inch size stones that are guaranteed to rattle your dentures loose in your mouth. I do not know how joggers can run on this or mother’s push baby strollers. My recommendation is to stay on the Lebanon Valley side of the trail and you will have a much more pleasant experience. Lancaster County should be ashamed of themselves for the condition of this trail.
Steve C — Google review
We had a lovely hike along the trail. We saw someone painting the landscape, lots of birds, and someone along the trail told me when I was stopped there was a white wolf in the direction I was heading. We didn’t see anything once down there. My dog wanted to roam on the big open field so bad but it is private property and for archery.
Tia T — Google review
This is an awesome trail to walk especially for beginners. It's a total of 5 miles one way so it is adaptable for any fitness level. It is nice and wide and flat with nice scenery of farmland and corn fields. Because it borders the Conewago creek frequently you get to see a great waterfall about a mile in. The only negative thing that I have to say is that there are no restroom facilities but other than that I am definitely going back again with my mountain bike.
Denise W — Google review
Starting up the Conewago trail along the beginning, I saw you had a bicycle repair station and air pump. It was very impressive. Also the fall makes the trail absolutely beautiful.
Nick M — Google review
Too much of the trail has a large Stone gravel which makes for a Bumpy uncomfortable ride, but other than that the trail It's fine. As do most trails, It me Andrews through farmland and wooded areas which gives a good balance of shade and sun. Just be mindful of those stones embedded in the trail, OUCH!

Went Saturday 11/1/25, and the checkout was mobbed. Patiently waited. The older woman on the side check out just finished with her customer, then just made a phone call. There was literally about 5 people after me waited to be checked out. The other lady was busy with customers. The older woman never said, "next", looked up . My husband had to go to her to ask if she was open after waiting and waiting. She rudely said, she has no idea who is next. I said that would be me! Checkout was fine until I asked my delicate antique could be wrapped in newspaper. The look she gave me!!! I had to leave.... rudest service ever. I will absolutely never go again.

Very nice antique shop. Only thing was me and my partner were being followed like we were thieves the entire time no matter where we were in the store (both upstairs and downstairs). It was more than just someone being available to help us if we had questions, they were constantly watching us. It was just too much. At the end of the day we spent over $80
Vasili H — Google review
So many treasures to be found. But the staff are a bit over bearing like they thought I was stealing or something? I'm not sure. But some stalls are too crowded and I was terrified of knocking stuff over. Also prices were pretty high.

Cute antique store in a barn. They have quite the selection of antiques and what I especially love is anything related to the history of the town - lots of books, Hershey memorabilia, canisters of Hershey Chocolates from back in the day. Then there's the usual fare - china, jewelry, etc.

Old Candle Barn in Intercourse, PA has been hand pouring and dipping candles for over 30 years. The barn-style gift shop offers a wide variety of candle scents and styles, with free self-guided tours of the candle factory available when production is ongoing. Visitors praise the strong and long-lasting scents of the candles, as well as the flavorful seasoning packets for dips. While not particularly kid-friendly, it's a favorite stop for many adults.
If I could give this place 10/10, I would definitely right away. Me and my family went on a cross country road trip, this past December 2023 from California to Pennsylvania and we stopped at this store there at Intercourse, Pa . They had lovely selection of gifts and home decor. I picked up this amazing smelling soap. And don’t sleep on there candles they smell amazing. My father purchased a flame less candle. He did not open it until this month of May 2024. And upon opening it he realized it did not have the cap where the battery goes to connect the two batteries for when it closes to turn it on. I emailed them and explained what had happened. Missy Hurst went above and beyond, she sent me a new candle the same as the one I had purchased. I am so incredibly thankful, As my father will be able to turn on the flame less candle but not only that have a memory from our cross country road-trip.

We especially enjoyed the extremely pleasant elderly lady who demonstrated how stick candles are made in the workspace in the basement. Allow yourself the time to explore this interesting place.

This place transported me to a simpler time. The barn is charming, the employees are kind, and the candles!! Wow! We loved smelling all the candles and having to labor over the decisions on which smelled the best. I brought several candles home, and then recently called them to place another order which was promptly shipped and carefully packaged. They have a small place in the back where you can see how they make the candles too!

I used to come here a lot with my mom. I recently finally got her back here after a few years away. I am so happy to see this amazing shop still in business. I love checking this place out whenever I'm in the area.

I will never purchase village candles ever again. I bought two tropical getaway 3 wick candle bowls and both were dried out and defective. They would not stay lit.The store would not help me because I tried to use them. And when I contacted the company themselves they said it was on the store to replace. I explained to them I already contacted the store and they will not help. I have been a loyal customer for years ,as I have one in every room of my house. After this incident, I will never purchase again and will be sure to switch brands.

Absolutely enjoyed this ride. We have taken the kids to a few spots in Lancaster but this might be my new favorite. Great trails with no big hills. I definitely enjoy the Enola trail but it is nice to have access to a town with food and amenities is great. Overall, great trail with trains, towns, play grounds and the river. Can't beat it. Only suggestion would be to start north or route 30. We didn't have any issues but crossing a "main road" twice could be cumbersome during heavy traffic times

Nestled in Conestoga, Pennsylvania, the 85-acre Shenks Ferry Wildflower Preserve is a paradise for wildflower enthusiasts and bird watchers. With over 100 varieties of wildflowers blooming in the spring and more than 70 species of wildflowers throughout the year, it offers a stunning display of nature's beauty. The preserve also boasts about 50 species of birds, making it an ideal spot for birdwatching.
Joined Lancaster Conservancy for their Wild Flower Walk at Shenks Ferry and what a wonderful experience. The beginning of April we were able to see so many of the wild flowers in bloom. It was overcast and a little drizzly but the trails were clear and easy to navigate. Aside from our group we saw 4-5 other couples enjoying the scenery and everyone was very friendly! Follow the signs and your GPS to get to the parking lot, it is bit of a rough road to get down to the lot but plenty of parking. First timer visitor this spring but looking forward to seeing how this preserve changes throughout the season!
Jessica B — Google review
Be careful going down the road to get to preserve. The road is not paved and not straight and uneven. It is filled with gravel and rock and a dark tunnel midway to the preserve however when you reach the bottom you will see a parking lot. When you reach the parking lot and throughout, there is no internet or wifi. Other than that, I started walking beyond the railway is the Susqehanna River which I got to see at the perfect time when the sun when down and it is absolutely beautiful. Afterward I walked down the trail to find another trail and creek leading to the river and a small bridge. Taking in the nature and seeing it was quite the experience.

What an enjoyable nature preserve! 20 minute drive from Muddy Run. I had an excellent time with my wife and our daughters, my parents, and my sister and her kids. It’s a great walk because it’s mostly flat, path goes along the creek, and train tracks for a little while. Then you come to where the awesome tunnel is, and it’s still an easy little descent. Anyway, it was my first time there, and I should have gone years ago. Enjoy the photos (tunnel ones are near the end).
Jeremy H — Google review
Shenk’s Ferry wildflower preserve is a beautiful place with uncommon flowers, butterflies, and an old railroad tunnel at the end. Its small size and gentle terrain make it suitable for children and older adults. Its connection to the Enola Low Grade trail means it can also be incorporated into larger adventures (I hiked to safe harbor dam and back in about 3hrs). Signs show a map, a very brief summary of the local history, and a few of the wildflowers, although I would have preferred more information. There are restrooms and parking.

We were here on Good Friday at 8:45. I was so glad we got here early maybe 5 cars. By the time we left close to 11 a.m. the parking lot was full and there were lots of people.

While we didn’t see many wildflowers, we heard lots of birds and had a wonderful evening pre-dusk walk. There were very few bugs to hassle us, only one other group of people present (who took off before we even left on our jaunt), and again, loads of loud birds. We used Merlin to track down birds we hadn’t yet seen, and after following the sound through the woods we encountered a bright blue Indigo bunting! There were no gates to lock a traveler in or out, so my guess is this preserve is open 24/7. There are no restroom amenities available, so please do your best to carry out your waste—no one likes finding white “flagging” on the ground!

Susquehannock State Park is a 224-acre green space offering stunning riverfront views and a variety of outdoor activities. The park features hiking trails, picnic areas, and play spaces for families to enjoy. It also provides opportunities for river swimming, water sports, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing in the winter. Additionally, there are camping facilities with amenities such as drinking water, electric hookups, and fire rings.
Such a beautiful and peaceful location. Great overlook to view the Susquehanna River and catch glimpses of various birds of prey. Appreciated the park ranger being there giving information and answering questions along with providing binoculars for viewing. This was a quick stop for us to have a picnic lunch but interested in returning to take in some of the trails. Lotta parking available along with restrooms and multiple picnic tables scattered throughout the area. Great spot for families to enjoy the outdoors, playground for kids and pet friendly. Light amount of visitors but steady. There is a short walk from lower parking lot to lookout area that could be challenging for elderly and disabled as shown in picture. Camping and pavilion reservations are also available. Free entry.

Great view of the river from the overlook. Detailed plaques throughout some of the trails explain the forage and wildlife around you. Parking is plenty. Trails are well maintained and easy to walk through. There are some sections of steep elevation and some parts are bumpy and rocky but worth the walk. Lovely place all around. Free entry.

PLEASE READ!!! My husband and I are adventurous hikers. We’ve hiked many terrains. Yesterday we went to Susquehannock State Park for a hike. We took the blue trail (not sure the name) which we’ve taken in the past and it overlooks lots of waterfalls and there’s lots of climbing and beautiful views. WARNING: This time there were many slippery spots and my husband nearly lost his life as he slid off a cliff. Luckily, He was able to dig his claws in and save himself. Please be warned that the trail is slick and if you are on the side of a cliff, be extra careful! Just wanted to share our scary experience. Happy Hiking!

This is an excellent park in Pennsylvania. There are tons of walking trails, hiking trails. There are tables and public bathrooms. The public bathrooms are open seasonally. I believe there are two playgrounds on site. Several public grills are on scene two for a barbecue. There is a nice scenic overlook that you can see all kinds of birds flying around. You can also overlook the water.

Over 200 acres of beautiful!!! I recommend hiking and camping here! Plenty of bathrooms, beautiful fields of flowers. We saw eagles, hikes and deer.

Great place for a short hike. Handful of different loops and offers a variety of terrain. Nothing too challenging, however some trails can be quite steep and not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. All the trails are blazed but are all in the same color. Trail junctions are staked out with signs to indicate which path you are on. Also ample printed maps at the main parking lot. Just be mindful of the landmines horses are leaving behind and you'll have a good time.

Nestled along the scenic Susquehanna River, the White Cliffs of Conoy offer a breathtaking outdoor experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. This stunning overlook, composed of dolomite and limestone remnants from an old mine, has been accessible to the public since 2014 thanks to the paved Northwest Lancaster County River Trail. The cliffs provide spectacular views of the river and its surroundings, including notable landmarks like Haldeman Riffles and Shocks Mill railroad trestle.
The White Cliffs of Conoy, rising 30 feet above the Susquehanna River in Lancaster County, are a captivating spectacle. While not a natural formation, these cliffs are remnants of a limestone and dolomite quarry dating back to the mid-1800s. Opposite the cliffs, across the train tracks, stand the ruins of the limestone factory and the remains of the Billmyer ghost town, vividly reflecting the area’s industrial history. Nature has gracefully reclaimed this once-thriving company town, now abandoned since the quarry’s closure in the 1950s.

The overlook is amazing of the river! I'm not sure if there's a closer spot than where I parked, but it was a long walk with the little ones to get to the cliffs, and we hung out there for a bit before heading back. If you bring the kids, be ready! Pack a backpack with water and snacks. There are bathrooms and trash cans at the cliffs and by the parking area, so make sure everyone goes before you start walking. The first time I came here, I was with a friend, and we checked out every little overlook on the way to the cliffs, even went down to the river when it wasn't so high. That walk took us about an hour. Coming back was quicker, only about 35 minutes. We also met this beautiful white bird on our way back 😍 she apparently is on trail quite a bit.
Desiree S — Google review
Looks and feels other-worldly, like being on the moon. Two large white sections from a previous quarry. Two gravel entrances to walk over either side. There is a small path down the little valley to get to the river's edge. It gets very bright here, even with cloudy sky. There are some remaining metal tools/objects a bit fused into the stone so watch your step. Easiest path to reach would be to arrive at Koser Park and walk a bit over a mile here to the white cliffs, so a little over 2 miles total. Path is shared with cyclists so be mindful when they pass. Fully paved and very flat a brisk walk is about 30 minutes one way.
Jonathan R — Google review
A beautiful, paved walking or biking trail takes you out to the cliffs, where you get An awesome view of the Susquehanna River. The cliffs themselves are very interesting to see as well and make a nice backdrop for pics.
A G — Google review
The view from the cliffs was very pretty, especially at sunset! A wonderful place for a picnic. I will say that the water down by the river was very smelly though, so I'm not sure how people were swimming in it when we were there. It was a decent 1.6 MI walk from the Koser parking place. The path is fairly level and well kept, and shady with all the trees along the way. Was definitely worth the walk, but I think next time we will bring bikes and save our feet a little.

I love this place 🤩the path is nice and wide and we love to E scooter it ...I've been there once in the afternoon and once in the evening to watch the sunset..sitting and watching the sunset was so beautiful and peaceful 🤩🎉i will back whenever I get a chance

Didn’t get to go, the way google maps told me to go was down a private road. I thought how it took me from the map that I could go pretty close. Instead it tells you to go to a bike trial which would be okay if I was prepared. (I was with a four year old) Next time I go to the area I will definitely be prepared.
Shauna S — Google review
Awesome view worth checking out! Great stop along a paved bike path. I ride my road bike right up in to it but you had better be careful and experienced. The view is great, but I was wondering what I was riding and standing in. Now that I have researched it, I am glad to hear it is just limestone and dolomite. Very cool spot!

Tennis Courts & Disc Golf - Free public tennis courts - 18-hole disc golf course popular with locals 4. Walking & Biking Paths - Paved and gravel trails ideal for short walks or jogs - Quiet and peaceful, especially in the mornings

Although I visited on a snow day during Christmas time the courts at Buchmiller seem to be the place to play for pickle ball aficionados. Six courts with ample space between net post and nice wind obstruction sunk in the hillside with free parking and first come first serve dinking. I'll be sure to come by and check out open play in the Spring. But I hear there are some hearty players who play year round when the weather permits. Check out my video tour and review along with still photos.

I'm always on the hunt for new parks. This one has a really great combination of shade end of nature combined with a playground that happens to be great for the age spread that I have, 16 months through 7 years. There's swings as well as a play structure. It's very close to bathrooms. It's right next to tennis courts. It's also right next to the frisbee golf Course. There is a place you can rent for picnics very close as well though not right next to it. I think if we ever did a birthday party or something there we plan on doing it picnic Style with blankets because of how close the shade is to the playground.

Recently had a wedding here. Gorgeous river view but frustrating experience. Groom & groomsmen had to set up dining chairs after being told all would be done. Day of, told linens would be on tables before 11am arrival. Arrived at 11:05 and no linens in sight. When doing the first looks, employee was standing in the doorways and around wedding party. Was told via email and in person that everything is included minus utensils and food, only to be told after the ceremony that we needed to get plates ourselves. No cups, plates, napkins, etc. were provided. Had to empty out the fridge in order to have room to put our stuff in. During reception, used our own speaker/microphone (not a DJ). Employee walked around at 8pm with decibel reader and proceeded to take the mic away from 2 of our guests who were singing. Had to provide our own lighting for 1 of 3 rooms due to having zero lights. Thankful the wedding party was amazing in helping with these situations, but frustrating that they even needed to - not something you want to figure out mid wedding/the night before.

Hershey's Chocolate Tour at Hershey's Chocolate World in Hershey, PA is a delightful attraction that offers a sensory chocolate adventure for visitors of all ages. It provides an immersive experience where the enchanting world of chocolate comes to life, creating enduring sweet memories. Visitors can explore how chocolate is made, sample signature sweets, and even create their own candy bar.
We recently visited Hershey’s Chocolate Factory with three friends’ families and had a wonderful experience. We made an advanced booking, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. The entire visit was fun and informative, especially for the kids. We stayed for a day and thoroughly enjoyed the attractions, the chocolate-making experience, and the overall family-friendly atmosphere. A great spot for a day trip with family and friends!

A definite must when visiting Hershey's Chocolate World. Was the first time since 2011 when I last visited and my wife & kids' first time here this past July. My family & I really loved the tour which was delightful and informative. Coming from the Chicago area, we were visiting my dad's side of the family in the Tamaqua area and obviously Hershey's was automatically on our priority list. While vacationing in Eastern PA, we had already gone to an amusement park a couple of days earlier so my wife mentioned that the kids already got their fill of an amusement park so wandering around the candy shop and the free tour would suffice. Place is amazing and if we ever we come back to visit the area, you know we'll hit up this place again; excellent family fun!
Deplorable R — Google review
Visited late after the Hershey Car Show and was able to take the tour again all by ourselves as we were the last ride of the day. After first riding in one of these cars decades ago it still something to be enjoyed. Updated but still retaining all the initial charm. Staff were very friendly. Yes, we bought the photo!

Came here a bunch with the fam as a kid. We still come here at least 5 times a year. I must have been through the tour about 150 times lol. The only downside is that they used to have liquid in the mixing tanks and flowing down pipes and stuff so it made it interesting. Now it’s all stupid animated and tv screens and stuff. The mixers r all digital and it looks kinda dumb. Bring back the original version please. Good tour though it’s informative for kids and stuff. It’s good for a few times then it gets boring. They also used to give out chocolate bars but mini ones. Not anymore.

I finally made it to where I wanted to be!!.3-18-25...didn't want the amusement park or anything others have done I just wanted all the chocolate Candy!! Lol...My Loove took me to Hershey!! I was so hype! & the happiest!!. This store had Every Chocolate Hershey Brand could make and then exclusive stuff!! like strawberries & creme Hershey's candy bar, PB&J Reese Cup with both kinds!! I was like a kid I even got excited because the light fixtures outside the building were made into Hershey's kisses!.. they had a create your own bag!, the Harry Potter New Butterbeer Kisses/Popcorn & graham crackers, Mocha, Chocolate truffle and Hazelnut exclusive Hershey kisses. We went on a walking tour then the Chocolate Tour inside with a roller coaster type ride and animatronics in all three hersheys candies and some farm cows!. Cupcake was scary! & looked crazy!. Matt Customer Service went above & beyond, he was Very helpful every step of the way from helping me along with my love downstairs and to ride because under my feet it moved in a circle so you had to be careful your foot didn't slip!. and after the ride to help me off safely so I can't thank him enough for saving my life! Lol... We went on the ride it was cool and a little traumatic lol cause everything moved! and talked ( past childhood Chuck E. Cheese trauma). Overall I loved that they had so much different candies, a theatre you could watch , a candy making station at the Reese's station. They had an actual chocolate making & tasting you could do next to the entrance when you walked it!, definitely a tourist attraction spot for sure!!!!.. The gift shop is massively expensive and there's sweet treats everywhere. Definitely kid-friendly but fin for the adults too! We showed up right at the event time and it was fine, we didn't have to show up early or anything. Really impressed with how smooth the process was!

Cool little spot for the kids! It’s really big on the inside and have things for all ages to play. Arcade games are here. A basketball court. Basket ball nets to bounce and score. The cleanliness wasn’t as nice as I would like it to be. Also, the concession stand didn’t have any cooked food at all. Just some drinks.

Had a very fun time here! Everything is somewhat well maintained. Visible wear and tear everywhere. Yet the only part that actually bothered me was the foam pits. The foam is torn to shreds and makes a mess and gets in your hair. It’s annoying and gets stuck on your socks. Other than that, everything seems well maintained.
Grevante F — Google review
We had a birthday party here and I forget the girls name who helped us but she was great and had a good personality. There were a handful of reasons I wouldn’t recommend a glow party- or a glow session at all especially for kids. There are handfuls of teenagers and young adults (which isn’t the problem) but it IS completely unmonitored. Staff throwing F bombs and teenagers saying all sorts of things not “kid friendly”. There are kids being entirely reckless and not paying attention to anything but themselves. Hands on contact and running into and knocking down kids. Hindsight I definitely should’ve checked out a glow session before booking it as a party. If your child has sensory issues this is not the place to be. It starts off being loud, but gets even louder as there is a DJ who plays music towards the back as well. (Entirely different music than on the main speakers and you can hear both at once) The speakers all around sound blown out and it’s just way too loud in general. The adults had a good laugh at how horrible that was but when it ended we were ready to go. Now back to the party itself. There were a few times we ran out of drink and food we brought wasn’t brought up including a fruit tray that wasn’t brought up at all until it was over (even though we asked for refills/the fruit tray). I had no access to the food we put away so I couldn’t grab it myself. They provided zero forks. They did give small plates. A handful of napkins. Overall the kids enjoyed it so no worries but the behind the scenes could use improvement. I would never book a sky zone party again.
Emily W — Google review
We had a birthday party here for my 7-year-old. The staff were very friendly and courteous and made check-in easy and the party room clean. Food was delivered on time. And the kids had fun with the bouncing; it's a neat place for the kids. But... The price for a 2-hour party was already fairly outrageous; when we asked to extend the bounce time 1 hour, we were told we'd have to pay the regular rate as though there was no party ($300 for 11 kids, totaling $750 for 3 hours). This is apparently a recent policy change; an extra hour a few months ago was a more reasonable flat rate. The primary reason for dissatisfaction was that there was active construction inside the facility the entire time. Sparks from metal work were literally splashing down on the sock rack at check-in, the noise was ridiculous (could not even hear the kids singing happy birthday), and the whole place smelled like smelting metal. We were wondering if that level of fumes around children was even legal. Why not do the construction during off hours? It was both offensive and dangerous. Pay $450 to breathe in metal fumes for two hours? We will not be back.
Ryan D — Google review
Lots to do here! Definitely fun for all ages. The staff was friendly and place was clean. The only thing I thought could be better was the inflatables could use more air. It did not stop any fun though. We would recommend this place and suggest that you use a Groupon to get tickets! It saved money!
Angie T — Google review
My kids and their cousins, ages 4-13, loved it! It has an inflatable area with obstacle courses and slides that I haven't seen at the other sky zones. My sons also loved the inflatable bouncy pad basketball court. It was clean and big enough that it doesn't seem crowded. Get your tickets on Groupon for a great deal!

Wow! This location in Lancaster is amazing! So much space and so many fun things to do! They have normal trampoline jumping, foam pits, basketball, rock climbing, dodge ball, a ginormous "bouncy house" area, obstacle courses and more! My kids had the best time and never got bored for even a second. 90 minutes of play is $25, but I can't believe I'm saying this...it was worth it for what was available! I also really appreciated that staff was readily available and monitoring at every play area! Thank You!!!! A snack shop is available and check-in was easy. We will definitely visit again!

Nestled along the charming Chocolate Avenue in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Cocoa Castle is a delightful playground that promises endless fun for children. Opened in early 2017 by the Derry Township Friends of Parks & Recreation, this vibrant play area features two distinct sections catering to both older kids and toddlers. Adventurous little ones can explore unique attractions like dragon slides and a haunted pirate ship, while also enjoying the whimsical HERSHEY'S KISSES Hut.
Beware of lack of shade. Loved this playground and its location. This is definitely one of the biggest playgrounds i have ever seen and would’ve really appreciated something like this from my age of 2ish to 15. Plenty of swings and benches. I went around 12 noon on a very hot day with a toddler. There is plenty of shade if you want to hide under the gyms. Drums, bells, play house under gym, multiple climbing options, water fountain, portable potty

First experience at this park. For the most part, the environment had a “safe” feeling, but we were still very cautious. Nice array of equipment. Much of it was hot due to the sun and there is very little shade protection. Tables are available to sit at.
Tina B — Google review
This is a nice, large playground with a good variety of equipment available and it's well maintained. Our kids had a lot of fun playing here and trying out all of the different things. When we were there, it was a bit crowded so it was sometimes hard to keep track of where each of the kids were. There were also grown adults running around on the equipment which made me nervous for the younger kids and toddlers who were playing. We'll most likely stop by again though when we're in the area.

Great playground plenty of swings. Picnic tables. Parking either behind the community center or on the street. Playground is safe area and my kids love it. Plenty of swings to share :) Playground itself doesn't have much shade but there are trees in surrounding area and near the picnic tables.

This is a large playground situated next to a community pool and club. The playground is great with a lot of seating and shaded areas. My kids have visited here twice and have had hours of fun! Since the addition of the community club and pool, it can be a bit noisy during the summer months, and there doesn't seem to be super close parking, but there are nice sidewalks leading to the playground.

Above average playground as measured by number of things to climb on. All but one slide was functional. There is a nice rec center next door with clean facilities. Kids had fun here.

Favorite place to take the kids. Big playground, pool accessibility, tennis/pickleball courts, big parking lot for them to ride scooters and skateboards. Library is next door and it's all located by the schools so it's very safe and clean. Also, there are 2 red tail hawks who have made a home in the pine trees, whom are very used to people, because they let me get very, very close, within 5 ft close!
Spiderduck 5 — Google review
Clean, well kept up. As far as accessibility about half the playground was wheelchair accessible. However the wood chips makes about half of that half harder to get to. Lots of shade to play under when it’s hot and lots of benches for parents. Some green space too for a picnic. Maybe they should empty the porter potty though after hours, as that smell is horrendous. We just used the community center bathroom though, which was very clean.

Hiking area
Mill Creek Falls (York Co.) Trail is a popular destination in York County, offering a beautiful view of the 25-foot waterfall just a short walk from the parking area. The trail is suitable for hikers of various skill levels and can be enjoyed with small children. It provides a relaxing walk along mini waterfalls, with areas to splash around in the water. The surrounding area offers plenty of trails to explore, including the nearby Mason Dixon trail.
This area was one of our goals for hiking and geocaching. We hiked almost five and a half miles with approximately five hundred feet of ascension. A january fifty degree sunny day. The views were beautiful, and there were several eagles. The locks were interesting, and we enjoyed the history. We rated our hike moderate because we took the upper trail to the falls and not the straight trail to the falls. We did the entire blue loop trail, which has several Topo lines and beautiful views.

A Peaceful and Scenic Hike with a Refreshing Waterfall Mill Creek Falls Trail in Pennsylvania is a hidden gem for nature lovers and casual hikers alike. This moderate trail offers the perfect balance between a relaxing walk and a light challenge, making it great for families, solo hikers, or couples looking for a peaceful outdoor escape. The trail is well-marked and winds through beautiful woodlands, with plenty of shade and natural beauty along the way. You’ll encounter a mix of gentle inclines and flat stretches that keep the hike interesting without being too strenuous. One of the highlights is the functional dam you’ll pass—it’s a unique feature that adds a bit of history and character to the trail. At the end, you’re rewarded with the serene sight and sound of Mill Creek Falls. While it’s not a massive waterfall, it’s beautiful in its own right—a quiet, cascading flow surrounded by mossy rocks and forest greenery. It’s the perfect spot to take a break, snap some photos, or simply sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. Parking is usually easy, and the trail is not overly crowded, which adds to its charm. Be sure to wear good hiking shoes, especially after rain, as some parts can be muddy or a bit slick. Overall, Mill Creek Falls Trail is a lovely, moderate hike that delivers a satisfying mix of forest views, water features, and tranquility. Highly recommended for anyone exploring the Pennsylvania outdoors.

Took my Toddler, 6 year old and adult child (aka Hub) on this hike. Waterfall was smaller than expected as. We made it to up about 3 switchbacks before realizing that was the fall. Kept going to top of whichever peak is to three right. 6 year old enjoyed leaf sliding down between switchbacks. I would imagine gorgeous during fall. Peaceful and anybody not in a wheelchair (IMO) can make it to see the waterfall.
Carly M — Google review
This hike can be done with small children. It's a relaxing walk along several mini waterfalls and it is just soothing and tranquil. There are areas you can climb down to be able to splash around in the water. I def recommend this place if you are trying to have a stress free, and breath of fresh air!

Immerse yourself in the rich flavors and vibrant culture of Lancaster County at the Columbia Market House. Located in downtown Columbia, this historic market offers a wide array of fresh produce from local farmers, artisanal goods, homemade treats, and Amish specialties. The market also features local craftsman showcasing their handmade crafts, fresh baked goods, flowers, and even offers tours of the lower dungeons.
Holy cinnamon rolls, Batman! I am now seriously their greatest fan, and I can not even consider another Pillsbury cinnamon roll again. Plus, they have other beads and sweet stuff if you're looking for quality. The best part is that the whole market is full of other small local businesses. Everything from being able to grab a coffee, a bouquet of flowers, dog stuff.
Kaeleb C — Google review
Beautiful place. I was there for a private event (baby shower). Can't wait to come back for the actual market!
Susan W — Google review
The Columbia council made the rent too high pushing out my favorite restaurant. None of the hand sanitizer dispensers have anything in them.
Kuragari _ — Google review
Could have given five stars but the men’s room had no soap, WiFi didn’t work and not very friendly. I guess it depends on the day. Beware this town closes early sometimes it’s a ghost town at 3pm
John S — Google review
The Coffee Corner has very nice people, but wow that was the worst Americano I’ve ever had. Would’ve asked for another but was already out the door and running really late for an appointment. Saving grace was On the Bun with their spectacular cinnamon rolls!

Great place to stop and take a look at if you're nearby. They mostly have food stands, so it might be best if you visit on an empty stomach.

This Saturday market is a great addition to the Columbia community. Great eats and treats. Stop for a pretzel, bouquet of flowers, or tasty beverage. You won't be disappointed.

Beau's Dream Dog Park at Buchanan Park is a top-rated dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. It features a wading pool, basketball court, walking trails, and play areas for dogs. The park also offers sitting areas for owners and water features. Visitors praise the responsible dog owners who frequent the park and note that it's a great place for dogs to have fun.
Great dog park, spacious play area, great seating to relax and converse with others as well. The clean up stations were filled and very helpful and water stations were fantastic. It would be nice if everyone would clean up after their dog but that's not the case and it's a real shame because having this park in our community is a great blessing. Other than that, an absolutely great dog park.
Jose J — Google review
I was in Lancaster for the day with my dog (who love a good dog park) and found this place on Google Maps. We had a lovely time romping with some dogs. It looks like it must be a really fun place in the summer time. There is no grass or mud (all AstroTurf).
Christine S — Google review
This dogs playground area is excellent! Very clean, features a fountain, and has artificial turf—perfect for pets. Highly recommended!
MOSIA V — Google review
Actually it was a very long and large Historical park dedicated to the community by a couple about 100 years ago for the community in their will. There are beautiful ponds and one of them has a fountain. This was on my trip w my friend to Pennsylvania last week. There are many picknic benches and a food booth that sells hot dogs, hamburgers, juices, and 1 dollar bottles of water. ❤️😃 Ducks swam around in each pond w many beautiful trees to enjoy.
Arlene G — Google review
It's a nice dog park. Some people need to pick up after their dogs as the park provides bags and trash receptacles. Also some dog owners need to use the correct size for their dogs to play in. We have small dogs, Hope (in Purple) and Gibbs (in Orange) loved being able to run and play.
Michelle S — Google review
This place is so much fun for the pooches! This fenced in park has lots for the dogs to explore and is wonderful for socializing! There are several water fountains to keep the pups hydrated ( and some for their humans too!) Also, in the warmer months there are splash pads to keep them cool! Would highly recommend this dog park!
Ashley M — Google review
A few good things we liked: turf, instead of grass, the water features for the dogs to cool off. After hearing great things about this dog park, we decided to come check it out! We were disappointed because the park was kind of junky. The splash pad was cool, literally, for the dogs but the park is in need of some TLC. Grass is long and the area around the splash pad could use some power washing as there is dried dog poop stuck to the concrete. I hope some care is given because I can see this being a great place for doggos to hang out and cool off!
Tracey — Google review
I’ve gone to this park for almost 5 years and my dog loved it. Unfortunately I won’t be back. Over the last year or two I’ve realized it’s a bunch of lazy dog owners that instead of tending to their own dogs would rather sit around gossiping with each other like high schoolers. I’ve witnessed first hand adults talking poorly about others that are “regulars”. If all you’re going to do is sit around and talking to other people while your dog shits everywhere, humps everyone and steals other dogs toys then go somewhere else. There’s actual PEOPLE parks. This is a DOG park. I can get past the fact that multiple people don’t clean up after their pets there. I never really cared that there’re “rules” posted at the gate that aren’t enforced. Nor did it bother me that there’s a viral tik tok video of a big fight there. Not to mention I’ve seen the cops respond twice. Human beings are truly just awful. What bothers me is how other peoples dogs constantly interrupt me and my dog by stealing our things and then say redundant things like “sorry” and continue talking to your friends. Just a few weeks ago I tried getting there before 8 AM for a beautiful cool morning fetch. A ladies dog wouldn’t stop trying to mount my dog. She had the audacity and absent mindedness to shout “Oh you can just push him off!” I’m not there to tend to YOUR dogs or play with YOUR dogs. I wish some of these “adults” that attend the DOG PARK regularly with THEIR DOGS would actually tend to THEIR DOGS. I didn’t even include the more egregious things I’ve witnessed and experienced there. I’m done.

Lots of trails to walk run or bike. Several playgrounds for kiddos and a lovely dog park (please note it is a membership only park. Currently $50 a year for Manheim Twp residents and $70 for outsiders like me but well worth it).

The East Lampeter Township Community Park is a great place to enjoy nature and have some fun. There's a playground, mini disc golf course, and paved walking paths with exercise stations. It's also well maintained, with clean restrooms and several benches.
Beautiful park and very well maintained. We had a soft ball game there.we spent some time walking around and looking at all the flowers and garden scapes. They have Great exercise equipment dip bars, pull up bars hanging rings climbing polls, great area to do a job or have a run.

Early in the morning is the best time to go on a hot day. The very tall slide is in the shade. After the sun is beating down, the playground equipment gets hot. We always touch before getting on. Bathrooms are clean. Nice walking down to the river. Early in spring watch for bees nests.

I visited this park while in the area for Dutch Wonderland. It was a nice place to take the kids for a little. It is also a nice place for a walk. While we were there we witnessed a hot air balloon landing! Lol
Shannon H — Google review
We were in the area camping. The campground we stayed was small and not a lot of walking area. We visited this park each night to talk a walk with our dog. Park was very well kept and the flowers were nice.

We take our grandchildren here whenever we’re in town. They love the big slide. We then walk the path down to the river and look for turtles. They like walking and balancing on the wooden beams. Clean rest rooms. Great park.
Rita E — Google review
Beautiful park with paved walking path around and threw it. Path is about 0.9-1.3 miles, depending on what route you take. Disc golf course, 3 pavilions, sand volleyball court, baseball field, playground. Bathrooms are very clean, no changing table. Multiple picnic tables scattered throughout for picnicking, a wetland/bird haven, small creek, and "fitness path". Also multiple dog waste receptacles. Beautiful, peaceful, well kept park.

Nice walking trails through lawns and trees, and also a portion along the creek with park benches, picnic tables, workout stations, just lovely! There was also a ball diamond, pavilions and playground..

What a beautiful park! I've lived in Lancaster for two years and just discovered it. There's a great playground, lots of green space, and an arboretum area where the trees are labeled, there are peaceful flowerbeds, and fitness stops along the walking path. I enjoyed dancing in the wooden gazebo and the family atmosphere.
