Funland is a classic amusement park and arcade located on the boardwalk of Rehoboth Beach. It's a must-visit destination for families with children, offering a variety of attractions suitable for all ages. From thrilling rides like the Paratrooper and Freefall to classic carnival games such as skee-ball and whack-a-mole, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
My kids (6 and 8 years old) loved it here. We went on a Friday and got the wrist bands for $25 each child, which were good from 1-4:30 PM. This was a great deal, and allowed the kids on unlimited rides. The place was clean and had a fun, family atmosphere. Employees were teenagers from all different countries and were all helpful and friendly. The place has a feeling like it’s family owned, and not corporate like the HORRIBLE Jolly Roger in Ocean City, MD. The prices were more reasonable than most theme parks these days. Most carnival games were 1-$3 and the ones that were $5 allowed multiple trials (bucket of rings for ring toss, bucket of ping pong balls, etc). We easily one two stuffed pandas, and I saw a lot of families who had won stuffed animals. Admittedly, my kids like younger style rides and really loved the bumper cars, teacups, flying helicopters. Not sure how much teenagers would enjoy the rides, but there are plenty of fun arcade and carnival games. Also, plenty of bathrooms next door. Overall a great place for a fam of four!

Always a great time! I work in Rehoboth Beach but enjoy bringing my kids to enjoy the lights, sounds and excitement that Funland brings too so many people all summer long! 🎠🎟️😊

Been going here since I was a little kid and still take my own kids here now! Always a great time! Just took my son this past weekend for his birthday & he said it was the best birthday he's ever had ♥️
Kristen D — Google review
Finland is a small, but uniquely fun amusement park, especially for kids. There are a few rides (mostly for little kids), but the best ride is the Haunted House dark ride. It doesn't open until the evening, though. There's a fun selection of boardwalk games and arcade games. Your kids will love it.
Bradley S — Google review
I'm sure it's been said many times and it is very true. I rode this rides when they were new back in the early 60s and I brought my daughter here year after year and watched her grow up on those same rides. Soon she will bring her children to do the same. What a fantastic history. What fantastic memories. What a fantastic place to share with so many people from so many places. When we are in line for a ride we are all family. We start sharing stories of or children and past times at funland. Wonderful!
Steve — Google review
A summer favorite for my family! We find that this park is a better value, significantly cleaner and more updated than those in Ocean City. Parking can be a nightmare in Rehoboth, but rather than that it is much more enjoyable to us!
A M — Google review
This place is awful. It is full of trashy people and run by children. The staff is rude and inattentive. The games are somewhat decent; however, they are almost all tap-to-pay and buying a playing card to load money on is not advertised well, nor is it easy to find, but almost entirely the best route. Went on family vacation with children and would recommend other places on the boardwalk. The staff member pictured was extremely hateful to not only myself but others as well. Just go elsewhere.
John B — Google review
This place is amazing. The atmosphere is full of joy and the chance for kids to win prizes is high. There are many classic carnival rides and games which is fun for kids and grownups alike.

Jungle Jim's is a family-friendly complex offering a variety of attractions, including a water park with slides, lazy river, and kids splash pool. In addition to the water park, visitors can enjoy go-karts, bumper boats, batting cages, and mini-golf. The park is described as Delaware's largest waterpark and features several activity pools for different ages. It also offers season passes for those looking to make the most of their summer.
Jungle Jim’s is a really great place to visit in the summer! It is a little pricey but the amount of fun you have and good memories made man’s it worth it. Also the cafe prices are more reasonable than I anticipated. My 13 year old daughter has chosen Jungle Jim’s multiple times over the years to celebrate her birthday as we did today and plan to continue doing so for years to come! The Anaconda is our family favorite water slide and we highly recommend giving it a try!!
Jennifer L — Google review
Better than expected and better than Great Wolf Lodge. It's got the laziest of rivers with a wave pool! They have 6 or so big kid / adult water slide and a smattering of kiddies slides. There is the obligatory pirate ship and kiddies pool plus one of those water jungle gym things with the giant avalanche water bucket. If you want to stay dry, there is a safari themed mini-golf and a batting cage.
Daniel T — Google review
We went on a Sunday and it was not too crowded. Last year we came during the week and it was filled with groups of kids coming from summer camp. The water park is small. Good for small children and families. The biggest downside is the price of admission and food.
Patrick D — Google review
Jungle Jim’s n Rehoboth, De is the BEST! U don’t have 2 bring anything wit u! They have floats, chairs & everything else u need or want 2 b comfortable! Jungle Jim’s has the best lifeguards who r alert & scanning the water ensuring all swimmers r safe! The food is delicious! Jungle Jim’s is definitely recommended!!!!
Pearl J — Google review
We enjoyed our time at Jungle Jim’s. Bummed we had to leave the park with thunder in the area but I suppose it’s for safety reasons. The park is well maintained. Some of the water rides need a little refresh but for $50 a person it’s not bad at all.
Brad N — Google review
Always a blast at Jungle Jim’s! This was our second visit to Jungle Jim’s in Rehoboth—my daughter’s daycare does an annual field trip here, and it’s quickly become a summer highlight. The park is clean, well-run, and perfect for younger kids, older kids, and adults. My six-year-old had an amazing time again this year, and I have to give a special shoutout to the lifeguards—they were incredibly kind and patient with her, which made me feel confident and relaxed as a parent. A tip for families: pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic outside the park. There are shaded areas and spots near the parking lot that work great. It’s a nice break from the crowds and gives you a chance to recharge. One downside is the bag check policy. They confiscate all snacks and drinks except a bottle of water, which I understand to a degree, but it felt excessive. Once they take the drinks, they are placed in one of two large coolers behind the plastic table they sit behind at the entrance. I brought Gatorades for my family and when I went to retrieve them from the desk area, only one was left. Apparently, anyone can claim items, which seems like a flawed system for a park with such a high price tag and a more “premium” feel. I’d love to see them invest in a better way to manage this. Still, the overall experience was fantastic, and we’ll absolutely be back next year. Jungle Jim’s is a great spot for family fun—just plan ahead and leave the drinks & snacks in the car!
Sarafina C — Google review
Nice place, I agree with a previous post— a bit expensive for what is offered. Although i experienced muscle soreness and my kids had a lot of small scrapes on them from the slides, it was a fun experience. Food was just okay, and staff was just okay.

Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats is a cozy spot with a warm ambiance, adorned with vintage wood and historic photographs. The establishment offers an array of house-brewed beers on tap and serves up inventive dishes. It's a popular choice for those seeking craft brews and delectable meals in a charming setting.
This was such a must go to location!! Thank you Corey, for helping us to have a wonderful experience with our server Ashley. The burgers were great, pizza was fabulous 👌!!! Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic!! Highly recommend this if your in Lewes or Rehoboth!!!! On tap locally made beers!!!

I really like it here so I won’t ding this particular meal. Avoid the beef on weck. Honestly it feels like the ribeye is boiled and without seasoning. My wife really liked her blackened shrimp tacos and we both really liked the pretzels for the appetizer so I’m not gonna ding the whole experience for just one dish. I’m sure their burgers and pizza are stronger dishes. The beer is always superior and is worth the wait. Their cocktails are also good.
Pat B — Google review
My dining experience was mixed. I had a cheddar cheeseburger with a side caesar salad. The burger was big, juicy and overall delicious. The salad, however, was a bit disappointing. The salad was swimming in a tasteless caesar dressing that only had a couple of croutons. Service was excellent; very professional and friendly. Atmosphere was very lively and energetic with multiple TVs throughout. Would just like them to improve upon their salads.
Richard F — Google review
If you're visiting Rehoboth Beach and enjoy good beer, this place is a must! We stopped by over the long weekend and had a short 10–20 minute wait for a table. The service was friendly, and the live band added a great atmosphere to the evening. The beers were fantastic—especially the lagers, which pleasantly surprised us. We jumped straight to the entrées and ordered the “I Wanna Be Sedated” burger, fish and chips, and grilled chicken Caesar salad. Everything was well-prepared, with the burger being the standout—absolutely delicious. We were a bit let down that they had run out of shrimp, so we couldn’t try the blackened shrimp tacos or get shrimp with the salad. Still, that didn’t take away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Great food, great music, and a great vibe overall! IG: journey_man16

Large group of us came in on a Sunday. They were very accommodating to get us seated together. Really solid beer list. Food was very good (yellow fin tuna taco and salmon burger were very good). Fries awesome. Great calamari. You will find a beer here that you really like. Service was great.

DFH old fashioned was pretty good, the pumpkin ale was decent but didn't have that pumpkin i was looking for. The pickle chips and the Almost shipped my pants wings were very good! The chili hot dog duo was decent. The bartender Alec was very fast and doing a great job running the front. Definitely come back next year!
Cheyenne R — Google review
Great experience. Excellent food. Mediocre service. Waitress would disappear for more than 15 minutes had to ask others walking by for water refills, toppings for pizza, spoon for the chowder etc. The atmosphere is always chill. Preferred a booth seat and they were already full so we got a seat in the middle of the dining room at a table. Nice music good variety played. The food was excellent had bbq wings sauce was light and sweet and the wings were crispy w just a little bit of burnt flavoring. The corn chowder was good, would have been better served w a spoon so I could eat it hot… by the time we located another server it was lukewarm… We also for the old man and the sea wood fired pizza which was exceptional!! Will definitely be back for more soon! Loved the tropical sequel too!! 9% ABV

I’ve been coming to dogfish head brewery and eats in Rehoboth Beach for well over 20 years… I’ve had many experiences in both the old and new brew pub…. But nothing will top the most recent one. Olivia, who has been with dogfish head since almost the beginning, was our server this time. We’ve had her before in the past, but this time was exceptional. She was able to help me with a problem I was having with my “OCS” membership. Always so attentive and nice…. A the whole team at DFH is always above and beyond with customer service. There are many stories that our family has made and will continue to make at the brew pub in Rehoboth. Thank you for a great experience.

Beautiful setting right by the beach. Great quality music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the summer from 8:00 to 9:15. Bring your own chair. Restaurants and ice cream nearby.

Hello everyone!!! Some time ago i have a nice opportunity to visit this nice place. During the fall and winter it is quite and calm place. Not all the place are opened but it is still many working shops and restaurants. And it is nice to have a walk through the broad walk. Nice Christmas decorations of this place can catch your eyes. Nice place to make good pictures. Happy coming holidays!!! Peace!!!

I'm reviewing the Sea Witch Festival. We went on Saturday morning for the parade! It was very fun but extremely crowded (to the point that I fell and cut myself). It took us over an hour to walk about a 1/4 of a mile to the bathroom and then we couldn't get in because it was blocked off. It was a great parade but bathrooms should be set up somewhere and also a first aid station. Overall, it was a nice fall day and a great Festival!
Sarah S — Google review
Appreciated free concerts during the summer on the weekends. Nice posting of the schedule online. Decent amount of free seating but also standing room.

Community. Tourists. Families. Old folks. Children. Music. Poetry. Theater. Magical place by the sea. We enjoyed this large kiosk that is multifunctional with the scents of salt water, pizza, French fries and taffy wafting through the air. People show up here, relax and have a good time. It’s timeless, free and so emblematic of summer.

Visited for the first time after moving to Dover. One visit is not enough to give an impression. But will visit again to savor its beauty.... Visited again today, 22nd May 2022. Excellent place to enjoy and have FUN. Beautiful place to take your family and loved ones.

Shopping opportunities enhanced with accepting our beagle inside many stores. Many vendors treated us like family, not just "tourists"... great alternative to enjoying Rehoboth, as dog was banned from boardwalk/beach.

Beautiful town, but so crowded and so difficult for finding parking and it can be expensive, depend of the place. Carry on so cash for easy pay the parking the daily pass, it is not intuitive if you are not from the area.

Nice quaint shopping street in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. This mall features a small business street near the Boardwalk with a variety of stores, like Sunglass Company and Electric Fish. The landscaping and plants along the street make for a nice atmosphere. In the middle of the street, about half way down is an old style post clock which adds to the scenery. This is a nice relaxing outdoor shopping mall.

Quaint side promenade of shops off the main street of Rehoboth Avenue. Shops include art galleries, jewelry stores, lighting shops, Archie's Ice Cream, a bottle shop and gift shop. Cafe Papillon offers outdoor patio seating during weekends and beach season. Some shops operate under limited availability during offseason, so check ahead.

State park
Park
Gordons Pond State Park Area is a picturesque and tranquil spot located about 2 miles north of Rehoboth Beach. The area offers the Gordons Pond trail, a nearly 3-mile-long scenic route that takes you through salt marshes, lush forests, and ends at the beach. This trail is perfect for birdwatching and wildlife spotting. Additionally, it provides easy access to Cape Henlopen State Park and its hiking trails.
This beach was nice and not super crowded. It’s $15 to park during the week but with every penny. The beach itself isn’t rocky or shelly so walking around is pleasant. The sand is soft and overall, the beach was clean. The parking lot is large and there are also foot washing/ shower stations. The bathrooms are porta potties but it’s better than no bathroom at all. Great place to spend the day.
Jillian K — Google review
Nice quiet no frills beach. No food available. The beach is a quick walk over a dune with hiking trails and dog friendly. The trail is nice but there is poison ivy everywhere! No trash cans so you have to carry everything out. They did have water to wash off the sand.
Rick W — Google review
The State Park of Gordon's Pond is a beautiful area with many birds. While there is a fee to enter the park, there is ample parking, the trails are good for pedestrians and bike riders alike, and the path is 5 miles long with an endpoint at the ferry. It was worth the visit.
Patrick S — Google review
Wonderful hiking trails in Cape Henlopen State Park. 5.2 miles out and back. Plenty of parking on both ends. Daily fee to get in. This trail is totally flat. Literally no elevation. So great for beginning bikers. Part crushed gravel, part boardwalk. Easy walk. Highly recommended.
William L — Google review
So this is a place that we have spent loads of weekends visiting and it never gets old. It gets 2 thumbs up from the humans and 2 paws up from the doggos. Best thing about this beach is it’s totally dog friendly. Leashed dogs. And most ppl have never heard of it so while it can be busy at time, it’s not overcrowded like the beaches of Ocean City MD and the main beaches of Rehoboth DE. The fee is vary reasonable: $5 for in state tags and $10 for OOS tags…per day. You can pay with cash or credit card. That pass will get you into almost any De State Park, be that ocean side or bay side for that day so you could pay the fee then go see nearly all of them. Gordon’s Pond comes complete with beach access/ocean side, a pavilion with picnic tables to eat at or have a party, a large grill out near the pavilion, chair and umbrella rentals (separate fee), a trail you want walk or bike around Gordon’s Pond, plenty of free parking, and all the sand and ocean you could ever want not to mention some gorgeous rocks in the form of a jetty that are perfect just before sunset for that beautiful family photo on the beach you’ve always dreamt of. While they do not have permanent bathrooms or a bathhouse at this location, there are porta potties (the cleanest smelling you’ll ever use). This location does sometimes fill up (mid day on really nice and holiday weekends) and when it does they will either turn you away or allow you to wait but in that case it’s one car out, one car in. You must bring all your own food in with you and it is a leave no trace facility so you have to take all of your trash out with you and dispose of it outside of the park. They do provide brown paper bags at each entrance to the beach free of charge for you to collect your trash in but you must still carry it out with you. Every beach entrance has an easy to use dune mat that lays on top of the sand and goes over the dune making the walk from parking lot to beach a cake walk. And for anyone wondering, those dune walks are pretty short. All of the shops and restaurants of downtown Rehoboth Beach are a mere few minutes drive if you so desire.
Chris B — Google review
We ran just over 6 miles (10 km) from downtown Rehoboth Beach to Gordons Pond, around the Gordons Pond Trail, and back—an absolutely beautiful route! The trail is well-maintained, scenic, and full of birdlife, with peaceful marsh views and ocean breezes. The trail and roads we took are also perfect for cycling with smooth, wide paths/shoulders and gentle elevation. A must-do for runners, walkers, or bikers looking to soak up nature near the beach!
Noah A — Google review
Ample parking areas, great walking/biking trail around the pond, and wonderful dog walking. Picturesque, clean, and shady on hot days. Downside-no restrooms, only a port-a-potty. Nice pavilion at pkg lot.

Revelation Craft Brewing, located in Rehoboth Beach with additional locations in Georgetown and Milton, is a haven for craft beer enthusiasts. The brewery prides itself on using only the finest ingredients to produce a diverse range of brews, from subtle to bold flavors. With fun names like Mother-in-Law IPA and Sussex County Mule, their beers on tap cater to various tastes.
Definitely worth the walk, it's about a mile from the beach. They have a nice beer selection, the Irish stout was excellent. We sat outside under the tents and played cards. There's a few games right inside the bar area. Food truck across the street was doing pretty good business. Plenty of bike parking.

From PA. Great prices, nicely connected to DaNizza WoodFired Pizza food truck. Had a grateful nation hazy IPA 7%. 13 custom brews on tap. Good flavor.

Always a great time. Our #1 favorite pizza in the area. Good beer and wine and fun, casual atmosphere right on the bike trail. We also enjoy their board games.

It's nice to have a brewery option that has some darker beers vs ipa. Good vibe here. Nice patio.

Wonderful small craft brewery with excellent service and a great selection of beer. If you're looking for miller light, this ain't your spot. 😂
Valerie H — Google review
Highly underrated brewery. Not only does revelation have amazing beer, but the food truck is out of this world. When we pulled up we didn’t know if we were in the right spot, but we made our way in and sat at the bar. Bartenders were super friendly and chatted with us and we all go to know each other. They offered some great suggestions with food. Never expected there to be amazing food. The wings were out of this world. They also have Italian options like fried ravioli. Can not wait to go back.

What a wonderful brewery off the beaten path! So glad this place was recommended to us. We stayed for a couple of hours and easily could have stayed for more. Lynn was great and attentive and it was so nice that we had ties from back home with each other! They are very dog friendly and offered water right away for them. The beers were so good - they had a wide array of options for all of our different tastes. They offer flights or regular pours. They have an outside tent area for overflow/bad weather. Very nice space. They also have their own food truck that sits across the street so you really can stay here for a while. This is great because there's nothing else in the direct vicinity of the brewery. Some of our favorites were the Cocoa Nut Porter, Irish Stout & the Juice Lab Hazy IPA. Can't wait to visit again!

This is a must do stop if your In the area. Hidden gem with their thumb on the pulse on craft beers. Kinda tricky to find them as they are down a street that seems likes it’s a private drive. But once you find, you will know why it’s all worth it. So many tasty beers on tap. Staff is incredible. We had plenty of good conversations with Dante. Wish you all the best with your new addition to your family! Make sure you try them out!

Grove Park, located near the heart of downtown in Rehoboth, is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Every Tuesday, it hosts a vibrant farmers' market featuring vendors from the Delmarva Peninsula offering fresh produce, baked goods, and seafood. The park also boasts playground equipment and exercise facilities that are enjoyed by both children and adults. With plenty of shade and space for picnics, it's an ideal destination for families looking to relax and have fun outdoors.
Large shady playground at the end of the main strip. Very cute. You need to pay for park, don't try to skip it, they ticket aggressively

There's a Pavillion to have a picnic under. Very clean bathrooms. Most of the play equipment was in good working order.

It was a beautiful day so we visited the park and had a picnic lunch. My granddaughter enjoyed all of the events on the playground.
GREG S — Google review
Loved coming here with my child. Had plenty of space and several different things to do with shade for parents
William J — Google review
We visit this park regularly while vacationing nearby. My boys actually love the exercise equipment as much or more than the playground equipment! I love that the whole thing has a good amount of shade. Probably my only complaint is that the playground structure goes up quite high. It is easy enough for littler ones to get up, but with large openings to fall down.
E V — Google review
Very nice space for kids to have some fun and burn off some energy. There is actually a workout section which is a first for me and that's honestly very impressive to see. Even a trail to bike, skate, skateboard or walk/run. Clean overall and would definitely recommend for the little ones

Located at 226 Rehoboth Avenue, the Rehoboth Beach Public Library is a haven for readers of all ages. It offers a variety of materials and programs, making it a peaceful place to read, think, and get informed. The library provides friendly assistance in finding books, media, and newspapers. Additionally, it is part of a network connecting all libraries in Delaware, allowing visitors to request materials from other locations.
Such a gem in the center of a very commercial beach town. This is a haven to readers of all ages: adults, teens and children. There are special room, interesting programs and lots to read. They offer friendly help to get books, media or newspapers and get going if you’d like. They are connected to all the libraries in Delaware so you can request anything and have it sent to you. There is a bank of computers for public use. Very peaceful place to read, think and get informed.

I am a lover and user of public libraries around the country. Rehoboth Beach may not have the depth of titles in house, but the staff is so friendly and helpful, they will search all of Delaware to find your book. You can’t ask more than that. They are also good at suggesting titles and authors.

It was a great library. However, that's if they would have longer open hours. The main time to study is Fridays and the weekends. They close way too early. Matter a fact, they don't even open on Sundays at all. I would go again, but they just don't seem to cater to college students. Its more for public school kids that get home at 3:00pm and retired people.
Jake C — Google review
The Rehoboth library is right in the heart of town on Rehoboth Ave, which seems fitting because it really acts as a kind of civic center, In addition to the usual collections of books. DVDs, and audio, they have a wealth of programs to appeal to every age group. Should be among the first stops for newcomers to the area!

Fast food restaurant
Chipotle Mexican Grill is a popular fast-food chain known for its Mexican cuisine, offering customizable burritos, tacos, and bowls. The restaurant's location on Route One features a modern design that stands out among other nearby establishments. Despite initial hesitations due to mixed reviews, visitors were pleasantly surprised by the clean interior, efficient service, and friendly staff. Customers praised the fresh and flavorful food but noted some issues with cleanliness in certain areas of the restaurant.
Conveniently located right in the middle of the outlets' parking lot, this spot makes it easy to grab a quick, delicious bite while shopping. They serve up the usual Chipotle favorites—burritos, burrito bowls, and tacos—all fresh and flavorful. Open daily from 10:45 AM to 10 PM, it’s a reliable option whether you’re dining in or taking it to go. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outside. The staff is friendly, and prices are consistent with other Chipotle locations. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!
Eric F — Google review
Came here Sunday evening around 520pm I highly recommend placing your order online first, and be sure to check the mobile pickup area because they don’t update you on the app. The place is in dire need of additional front of house employees. The outside seating area was just an unpleasant sight. Team members aren’t pleasant.
Anissa — Google review
This is not our first time here but maybe the worst. We did go an hour from closing after going to the outlets but whew not ok. They must have had staff call out because no one had cleaned up in awhile! Trash overflowing, tables looking nasty. The bathrooms weren't horrible but everything else was. The first girl made made sure she separated the food like we asked but the next guy in the line didnt understand the assignment and messed everything up. we had to wait for him to fix it and it was bad. Even the cashier was like he had a hard time. Hopefully it was just because they were short staffed.
DeMyra H — Google review
Normally I have good experiences here, but this was just too much. I ordered an online pickup order I could get after work. I drove an hour home only to realize, oh! My food is missing! Couldn't even get in contact with an actual person, the phone number is an automated message that you quite literally cannot communicate with. Disappointed and frustrated to say the least.
Skye — Google review
I have always loved chipotle, but recently their costumer service & the quantity of food has been decreasing! Today, my husband got me a bowl with my usual toppings and ingredients, as I come out from work and get into the car I am looking forward to eating my bowl after a long day at work, when I noticed a big piece of avocado in my guacamole, which I didn’t mind you know, but it was so hard! I couldn’t even put my nails in the avocado or anything! && on top of that it was dark, it looked like it was so bad to the point where it almost got mold if it wasn’t prepared! Also the cilantro was all gray & in the middle it was purple ish, it was so bad. Chipotle should be fresh and giving out good quality food so there should be a quality check on veggies & other ingredients , I am so disappointed! I didn’t believe it!
Cindy P — Google review
One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had – never coming back! Unfortunately, we were treated very poorly from the moment we arrived. No proper greeting, no respect. They told us “the system is down” like it was just an excuse. What made it worse is that some of the staff were laughing, like they didn’t take us seriously at all. One of them even sarcastically said, “Let’s welcome them!” — clearly mocking us. There was absolutely no effort to fix the issue or offer a proper apology. Honestly, if this is how they treat customers, I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time or money here. There are plenty of other places that know how to treat people with basic respect — even when things go wrong. Shame on you. If you can’t respect your customers, you don’t deserve their business.
Obad H — Google review
Wanted some food to make me feel whole and happy. Left with the meal of sorrow and despair. Tiniest scoop of rice ever, ice cold everything, missing ingredients, rock hard crunchy undercooked rice. $15 wasted. I swear there is not a single good food joint in Rehoboth or lewes. Why do you people come here. Everything sucks.
Jarvis H — Google review
We get chipotle once a week after the workout, so I was so excited for my bowl. My husband picked it up , and when i opened my box inside was literally 5 pieces of steak, NO BEANS even that I ordered them, thiny bit of a rice, barely any green lettuce, I got charged for guacamole almost $3 and they barely put any in it! He gets his bowl with no rice, so it was almost an empty box( you can see at the picture we added guacamole at home). Very DISAPPOINTED

Nestled behind the Tanger Outlets, Schellville Village is a delightful winter wonderland that transforms into a festive hub filled with activities for all ages. Visitors can indulge in delicious food and drinks from various vendors while enjoying live entertainment and engaging kids' crafts. Cozy fire pits provide warmth as families gather to create lasting memories.
Great place to spend with the kids. Entrance is free this why is usually crowded. Roller skates rent fee are $5, and is good all day. Pizza slice $4. Good way to spend the afternoon, but you must have a lot a patience to wait in line for the free stuffs. Definitely if you’re in Delaware must do this with the kids. Everything was decorated nicely .

Another great visit to this wonderful place! So much to do for the whole family. Lights and decorations everywhere, Santa, train ride, tree maze, food trucks, live music, sledding hill, skating, huge fake snowball fight area. Lots of things for kids to do hands on or climb on. Parents beware - the kids will totally target you relentlessly in the snowball area. But the fun is you can pelt them back without hurting and everyone is giggling. Crafts, adult beverage options including spiked hot chocolate. This is a village of fun and our family has enjoyed for several years. We will be back and highly recommend to all.

Had a wonderful time taking my family to Schellville Village behind Seaside Tanger Outlet . What an experience. I’d recommend parking behind the outlets. Plenty of places to park. Free entrance and full of lots of great places for pics for posting! Even make a fun Christmas Card! There’s even a trolly ride for free. If you get too cold they sell delicious hot chocolate to warm the belly! I found the food and snacks to be on the higher side. So be careful what you order! I just love to walk around and take family pictures with the amazing scenery!

Herring Point is a dog-friendly beach located just north of Gordons Pond, which was once a top-secret military site during World War II and the Cold War. The area features large parking lots, beach access, and a spot to enjoy coastal views. It's wheelchair accessible and has modernized bathhouses. There are separate car access points to the beach, with benches for enjoying the tide.
My favorite dog friendly beach at Cape Henlopen. Plus, views of the surfers, less crowded, and a peaceful beach to visit.
Lily B — Google review
We originally went to see the beach area and look for some shells and ended up stumbling upon some historical sites. My husband was so excited as he's a history nerd! We ended up spending more time looking at the historical stuff than the beach. It was a beautiful area and we'd definitely go back again if we go through that area!
Desiree S — Google review
This beach area is near 2 large parking lots and offers separate access for cars to drive onto a car-beach area. When we visited on a weekday there were no lifeguards on duty. There are benches on a lookout area if you enjoy sitting and watching the tide, like I do. This location includes the ruins of Herring Bunker which you can view from the outside. It was a lookout with artillery during WWII as well as the cold war era in the 1960's.
Barb ( — Google review

Angela B — Google review
We love this beach. So clean and accessible
John V — Google review
This beach should be a peaceful, beautiful escape — but it’s being trashed by people who don’t care. Let’s start with the dog owners who think it’s okay to leave their pet’s crap all over the sand. It’s disgusting. If you’re responsible enough to bring a dog, you should be responsible enough to clean up after it. There’s no excuse. Then there’s the fishermen taking over the entire beach with rods and lines stretched across the shoreline like they own it. People can’t swim. Families can’t even walk near the water without dodging hooks. It’s turning into a private fishing zone instead of a shared beach. If you’re going to enjoy a public space, act like a decent human being. Clean up after your dog. Stop blocking the water. Respect others. Herring Point deserves better than this.

If you're looking for a hassle-free way to travel, the Lewes Transit Center is your go-to spot! With rising gas prices and frustrating traffic, this transit hub offers an affordable alternative. Students can enjoy $1 fares, making it just $2 to reach the beach without the stress of driving or parking fees. The center boasts a clean and welcoming environment with comfortable seating, vending machines for snacks and drinks, and even a free water filtration station to keep you refreshed.
Great way to beat beach traffic. Once I tried it I wonder how I lived without it.

Gas is sooo expensive these days and traffic is awful! Not to mention the price of parking meters! But BEHOLD! The transit center!! As a student I get $1 fares, so it’s $2 from the transit center to the beach and I don’t even need to drive! What a steal!!! There’s a little indoor spot with sitting, vending machines, and restrooms, and there was even a security guard for safety! DART and this transit center are doing the most!!

J T — Google review
Always a good experience to park & ride to the beach. Beats traffic & parking fees!!
Debbie V — Google review
Loved that the buses were clean. Didn't love that they weren't on time, that none of the 3 apps could tell me where the bus was, or getting passed by, only 50 feet ahead of the stop with the driver pointing back at the stop. That ten seconds it would have cost them was more than 30 min for my kids and I. I'm glad that wasn't the last bus that could get us to our Ferry ride before it left.
Daniel — Google review
When I laid my first sight onto this transit center. I couldn't believe "how amazing it looked." That thought still hasn't gone away even after catching buses there for about a year. The facility is always clean with access to snack and beverage machines and there's even a free water filtration dispenser inside the building if you just need to quench your thirst. Outside of the building, you'll find bus stops designated for different buses on the left side of the building and there are a decent amount of unique bike racks placed about for the avid adventùrer too. The buses typically leave on time as scheduled unless one of them is running a bit behind schedule. The latter usually happens during the summer season. Most of the drivers that you meet there will be friendly and willing to provide professional service. Unfortunately, there are a few not so great bus drivers with their own personal issues that are granted the opportunity to be helpful. Those drivers will make you wonder how they even passed the interview process to begin with since they clearly lack respect. I had to take a star away solely for that reason above. Overall, this transit center will get you to where you need to go if you ever feel the need to catch a bus or two.

Hiking Trails
Hiking in December at Burton Island Trailhead offers advantages such as fewer people and no insects. This trail gives the impression of being less traversed, although Google maps can guide you there. It may feel like a wild goose chase as you drive around the buildings in the rear of the park. Despite being in December, wildlife remains visible, including numerous birds and a cool-weather-stiff black snake. This hidden nature reserve is ideal for a nature walk and welcomes pets.
This was a great walk with our two dogs IN NOVEMBER. The weather was cool, and the bugs weren't bad at all IN MID-NOVEMBER . Make sure that you check the hunting season as the park was "closed" for deer hunting the first time we went by a few weeks earlier. There are some really wet spots on the trail, so be prepared to get a bit messy. There are walkways that traverse wetlands to get to the bay. Parking is tight, back into the birm area to maximize space.
Mark B — Google review
I'm sure it's a great place to hike but we couldn't. As another reviewer said, hundreds, likely a thousand horseshoe crabs have for some reason washed up and died. The smell is unbearable and flies are everywhere.
Vaht — Google review
October 21, 2024. We went about 0.25 miles and the mosquitoes were unbearable. We had sprayed ourselves with off. Ran back to truck. We did see many horseshoe crabs dead.
Linda B — Google review
I enjoy this walking area. It's very pretty! If you go during the middle to end of May, you'll be rewarded with the wonderful scent of pink honeysuckle. It was lovely!
Karen L — Google review
Probably best to avoid this hike in summer. We had to plug our noses for much of the hike. Admittedly we should have turned around when we saw/smelled the first dead horseshoe crab. But we continued unfortunately. There were hundreds and hundreds of dead horseshoe crabs along the side of the trail and the intense smell of death was awful. The flies were bothersome most of the trail- trying to go in our ears and mouths, just very annoying! My kids were good sports but this hike was not very enjoyable unfortunately due to the horrific smell and bugs today.
Kristin D — Google review
Hiking in December has its perks - no bugs and less people! However, this trail give the impression of a trail less traveled. Google maps takes you right there, but you start to feel as it you might be on a wild goose chase for a second or two, as you drive around the buildings in the back of the park. However even being in December didn't hide all the wildlife! We saw many birds and even a black snake who was pretty stiff from the cooler air. 🐍
H H — Google review
Amazing trail with beautiful views, but definitely avoid in summer! There are a huge amount of mosquitoes and ticks on this trail, and unfortunately we got swarmed and bitten like crazy (we were not wearing the proper protection). So this is your warning to not make the same mistake we did: if you don't want to commit to wearing long pants, tall boots, a hat, and lots of bug spray, do not come here in the summer months!
Tess W — Google review
