A wonderful hotel made extra special by the staff who are so helpful and friendly. Special mention to Reyes although all the staff were wonderful. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and walk into central Jerez was 25 mins. Hotel facilities excellent with nice pool and a fantastic shower and jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was nice and varied. Didn’t try the evening meal. Lovely small quiet hotel. Would highly recommend. Hope to return one day.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Jerez! This boutique property is full of charm, with great attention to detail and a genuine effort from the team to make sure every guest enjoys their holiday. I stayed with my husband, our daughters, and a group of friends, and even though the hotel was fully booked, the service always felt personalized, warm, and friendly. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel—we look forward to coming back!

We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and had a huge balcony. The breakfast was good with enough options to keep us satisfied for 3 days. The only thing I would improve is to introduce some gentle music on the terrace as it was very quiet.

Fantastic hotel, classy, boutique, excellent quality and service. The pool is an oasis, and food tasty and traditional. Staff members like Olga, Ana, Antonio and the team made our stay unforgettable during my birthday. Also, it's in a nice neighborhood, close to the city center. We look forward to returning back soon! Extremely peaceful and very clean. The pool is gorgeous and relaxing and the rooms are spacious. Staff are really helpful and especially Carlos, amazing, witty, funny and extremely warm showing the best of the Spanish people.

This used to be a private house then converted into a hotel More of a boutique hotel. I liked the old fashioned style. The breakfast wasn't that exciting ,I've had better at 4 star hotels. It lacked the little touches that you would normally get at a 5 star hotel, which I don't think it quite fulfils. Staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms were clean and had a style that took me back in time and loved it. Much better than some of the modern hotels which are clinical. The other guests were friendly and lovely. Secure parking on site. Good location. Loved my stay there and would go back. 👍🌟

This is a five star hotel that hzs seen better days. We got a very good deal by booking well ahead. Room was excellent but facilities were almost non existant with no bar and a restaurant that didn't even show a menu. Breakfast was terrible and on the one day we decided to try it the hot water machine for tea and coffee broke down. Staff were very friendly especially on reception and one waitress who even arranged for a chair from the terrace to be taken to our room because it was higher than those we had. Parking is free in a secure area, there is a decent sized outside swimming pool although it was a bit early in the year to use. It is in a quiet residential area and rather than drive during our stay we took taxis and they arrived quickly as well as being inexpensive.

WOW! Exceeded my expectations. I came to Jerez on my vacation as a stopping point between Seville and Gibraltar and chose this hotel and am glad I did. From the moment you arrive the staff are there to attend to your needs. They are friendly and super helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous! The rooms have beautiful textiles, patterns, and wallpaper. You feel luxurious in the space. Breakfast every morning was wonderful and delicious and they have a great outdoor bar at night for you to sit and have cocktails in their garden. At checkout, they give you a small bag with water and the most delicious golden (yes golden) almonds. Thank you to the staff at Casa Palacio Maria Luisa for making my stay in Jerez a memorable one.

This is a superb hotel . The staff and service are first class . We arrived frazzled having had a tyre blow out in narrow streets - the front of house team immediately sprang into action - came with us to the car ,arranged the tow truck and the replacement hire ! When we left they had packed. The car with our luggage and brought it to the hotel ! Fantastic - the hotel itself is gorgeous , beautiful wallpaper - garden bar and barman excellent - and the small roof top pool was an oasis when the temperature hit over 40degrees ! A perfect spot in a lively town

This little hotel is such a gem! My daughter and I were travelling around Andalucia and only stayed one night. However, this was our favourite hotel of the whole trip and we will be back, not least because we also loved Jerez de la Frontera. The many thoughtful additional touches, the aesthetic design of the hotel, the calm, attractive oasis of the courtyard and garden area and bar, the warm welcome of the reception team and the fabulous breakfast served to the table outside, were all highlights. Our room was quiet and beautiful, thoughtfully designed and with a spacious, well equipped bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we had an excellent night's sleep. We are looking forward to a return visit!

A really beautiful and decorated hotel. Great location and it fulfils what you would get from a 5 star. It was the little things that made it very special. Loved my stay there, one of best hotels I've stayed at in Andulusia. My only negative comment is that there are few English speaking channels and maybe add Netflix and Prime etc apps to it for those whom have accounts with these providers.

Handsome Building, decorated with class and serviced by incredibly professional staff - stayed at this Hotel for my lady's big birthday, while also having some dietary restrictions. They were very attentive and ensured that every request was quickly attended to. We had a special breakfast ordered and they took care of everything with an incredibly lovely spread which actually kept us going for the whole day! No doubt this is the best hotel of Jerez and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay. Special thanks to all the reception, bar and boss of the place for attending to all our requests.

A lovely hotel. We had a junior suite (room 7) which was huge, incredibly reasonably priced and rightly described as the best room. The location is perfect for the old city. I would highly recommend.

Worst hotel ever. Severely under stuffed. Nobody helps us on our luggage and we had to walk upstairs carrying our heavy suitcase in narrow stairs. The room is also depressing with extra small window and mini TV.

I stayed here in February 2012 when attending the first F1 pre-season test and was delighted by the place. Its a lovely character hotel with beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was superb, and I was frankly astounded at how cheaply if been able to book it. Would love to go back again!

Good located hotel with good rooms but I just want to say not all rooms are good because they have indoor rooms just when booking ask them.

The location was great. Five minute easy walk to Plaza Arenal. Located on a plaza with cafes that served cheap breakfasts. Pedestrianised area so no road noise. The staff were friendly and the welcome drink was a nice touch. Beautiful building. Common areas were tastefully decorated. The internal patio was lovely and there is a roof terrace, although it could have done with a little TLC, eg comfortable chairs, more shade. The room was pleasant. High ceilings, 2 Juliet balconies overlooking the square, comfortable beds. Bathroom was clean with a good shower with choice of overhead or not. Lots of room around sink for toiletries. However........ The air conditioning was not fit for purpose. We had it turned to the lowest setting and the highest fan but it still had little impact. This affected the quality of our sleep. On getting up on the last morning, the temperature of our room was significantly higher than it was outside. This needs to be sorted out. The outside temperature when we stayed was in the low 30s but it can get so much higher...... We were travelling with a significant amount of cash which we wanted to put in the safety deposit box in our room. However, it had come away from the wall and could therefore be picked up, so not 'safe' at all. We asked at reception if we could leave it in their safe, but were told they didn't have one. We therefore had to carry the money around with us, which was far from ideal.

Loved our stay at casa grande. Excellent location, close to bodegas (try diez merito for a great sherry tasting). beautiful rooms with a Sun drenched rooftop terrace. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome. I Highly recommmend casa grande for anyone visiting Jerez de la frontera.

Excellent hotel and friendly staff. Our superior room was very clean and spacious, with a small balcony overlooking a beautiful plaza, worth the extra price. The balcony windows open for fresh air. Great mid-week reduced rates.

This hotel was nice but this happily married couple were given a room with two single beds. Also, no coffee maker or kettle and only instant instant coffee from the bar. Breakfast buffet needed attention. Coffee machine was broken often, had to search for cups and plates if you came down later. I think they were a little understaffed but the ladies were really nice.

The staff is very attentive and friendly. check in/out very easy. Also a plus that the receptionists are able to speak English. The roof terrace is great. I stayed at this hotel in November 2022 in a room on the 2nd floor. Very clean. The location is very good close to the old town centre and not too far from the railway/bus station.

Grand Hotel with Spanish decor. The staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast is delicious and tastefully presented. Ideally situated for sightseeing and bars and restaurants. The roof terrace is very pretty with great views. We had a suite which was spotlessly clean and the bed was huge and comfortable.

Superior hotel with excellent customer service clean off white finishes offer a calming feel. We had a room on the ground floor with views of the cathedral. Beautifully appointed room with a large bathroom large walk in shower with handheld and tropical shower heads and ample water pressure. Good options for breakfast (included). Staying in the hotel gives you access to the Bodega, tour, tasting (extra)the picturesque street with a canopy of trellis vines and the terrace bar with pool. Highly recommended!

Alright, let’s break this down. It’s Spain, it’s hot, no surprise there. But here’s the deal: the air conditioning in the room, is totally undersized for those top-floor rooms right under the roof. Our room hit 25 degrees, with the aircon cranked to the max. And with the hotel fully booked? No chance of a room switch we were told. The experience? Lousy. Bottom line? This place isn’t built to handle the heat, literally or figuratively. Not coming back.

Outstanding hotel and sherry winery well worth a trip ! A beautiful place immersed in the historical settings of the winery and overlooking the cathedral. We also dined at the restaurant at the Hotel 'Pedro Nolasco' which we can highly recommend - the food and service was terrific and if you book outdoor your dining overlooking the garden and cathedral - what an experience !

Overall we were satisfied. Breakfast in the garden was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Stayed and visited the bodega. Swimming pool open all hours, so we had a nice swim after dinner

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, including a tasting with 9 sherries, and we had an excellent time. It is true that it’s not cookie-cutter or standard like other hotels: it’s a special, utterly unique experience. The room: Tasteful and relaxing, with perhaps the loveliest, most calming bathroom I’ve ever had in a hotel and a very comfortable bed. The upstairs terrace: Sitting on deckchairs overlooking the cathedral was glorious - such a lovely place to rest between sights and tabancos… Food: We had breakfast in the garden both mornings, and found the quality and range excellent. Your order is brought to the table rather than serving yourself at a buffet, and I actually preferred it as a more relaxing start to the morning. The tasting: This was a definite highlight of our stay. Elena was funny and extremely knowledgable and taught us so much about sherry in general and Tío Pepe in particular. The hotel won me over from the start with the glorious-smelling jasmine at reception. I already can’t wait to go back.

Nice location in Jerez directly next to the cathedral. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are nice. Very few amenities in the room. Nice adjoining restaurant that’s part of the tio de Pepe winery. Breakfast is served in the pretty gardens outside. There is a nice rooftop with bar service. Rooms are a bit on the pricey side.

DO NOT BOOK there unless you want to be woken up at 7.30am with the wonderful sounds of a BIG CONSTRUCTION SITE. Probably doesn't apply to weekends, but it's 7.30am to 4.30pm not stop, which makes staying in their nice rooms an ordeal... Ask them about the construction works before heading there. I do not recommend this hotel. We booked a room for our family - two adults and two children plus a small dog (3 kg). It is not possible to book one room, the hotel administration said that you need to book two rooms for this number of people (because the rooms are small and not designed for this number of people). I had to pay an extra 37 euros for the dog (accommodation and cleaning after it). It's just a theft out of the blue. The dog is small, goes to the toilet in the yard, does not shed, does not spoil the furniture (it turns out that you will need to clean up after it). For those who have a dog, there is a room for people with disabilities. The room is quite spacious and can easily accommodate 4 people. The bed was wide enough, and big enough that we could all sleep on it, and there was also room for a cot. And the cot would not have bothered us, there would have been enough room with it. We checked into the room at 12 am, and at 11:00 am the next morning we had already made the checkout. So we only had to spend the night. Another room was even two stories high, with a small office on top and a small sofa. Paying for two large rooms when one would have been enough. Theft.

Lovely room but opposite some sort of events space which was holding Octoberfest - you can imagine the noise until the wee hours of the morning. The hotel is a short walk away from the center but that walk felt long after a day of touring wonderful Jerez. Basically a lovely hotel that is just slightly in the wrong location for me - highly recommend for the fit, and maybe slightly deaf!

We like this hotel a lot. Very nice rooms and very friendly staff! The only problem we had was that sometimes one elevator would get stuck open so you couldn't use it and the only part of hotel that had a ramp for handicapped people is in the back. There should be multiple ramps for quick access depending on if there is an emergency.

The perfect location for exploring the old town. The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. The room, 102, with windows on 3 elevations, was a suite, huge bedroom, bathroom and lounge. The bed was a great size, proper bed not two singles tied together, lovely white cotton sheets. The buffet breakfast was lovely choice of cooked or continental with fresh fruit, cereals yogurts and bread and pastries.The on site secure parking was €10 extra per night. Only bad comment was that the bedroom could have done with blackout blinds.

Great hotel albeit some things a little dated now. Great staff and breakfast. Spa was reasonably priced and enjoyable, but you have to pay for lockers which isn't mentioned until you are inside, and then they only accept 1 euro coins.

This is our go-to hotel in Jerez. This time and last, we booked a pool view room with a little terrace. Some of the rooms overlooking the car park are a little dated. We love it because of the location, the parking, the pool, the pool bar, the breakfasts, and the restaurant ...all.of which are of really good quality. What makes it a standout for us is the staff. They are all professional kindly and knowledgeable. The reception team has good English if you are not a confident Spanish speaker. The bearded guy at reception is particularly charming and helpful.

Hotel and staff are lovely but spa is pay extra and the spa staff doesn't even show up (is never there) when it's supposed to open. And it opens at 11am which is super late. The open hours are short and inconvenient. So lazy!!!

My €1,100 designer sweater was destroyed by their dry cleaning service—and they blamed me. I entrusted a €1,100 Ermenegildo Zegna sweater to Hotel Jerez & Spa’s dry cleaning service. It came back with four large holes. I provided photographic proof the sweater was in perfect condition the day before I arrived. No apology. No responsibility. They even tried to charge me for the cleaning. If you value your belongings—or basic accountability—avoid this hotel. Total disregard for guest property and professional standards.

This was our third visit to the hotel, but our first time staying during summer when the pool was open, and it really added to the experience! The hotel is very easy to reach by car, and free parking is a real bonus. It’s about a 20-minute flat walk to Jerez town centre, which we found very convenient. Our room had direct pool access, looked recently refurbished, and was spotless. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, though we would have appreciated a movable parasol near our room, as there was little shade in the afternoon. Breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold options, and we also really enjoyed the half-board memu, great quality, and good selection. Overall, another great stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

I stayed at Hotel Jerez & Spa for 6 nights. The hotel is somewhat old and could use some renovating, but the rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is also big and clean and open till quite late. Parking is free and I always found a spot. Staff is friendly. However, there are a few details you should know if you are considering this hotel Wifi is extremely bad, mostly due to a complicated login procedure that usually freezes, so you can't connect. But even when connected, the Internet is slow or doesn't work at all. This happened with both my Android phone and iPad. Because of this, I also couldn't stream to the TV, even though the TV supported this. There are not enough sunbeds around the pool. I was there before the high season, and people already had to sit in the grass in the afternoon because of lack of sunbeds. The rooms are not soundproof. You can hear people in the hallway. As the hotel attracts a lot of groups and families with children, there was running and screaming in the hallways from early in the morning till late at night. I was also for some weird reason given a connecting room, and I could hear everything my 'neigbours' were saying and doing through the thin connecting doors. So bring earplugs. Breakfast was OK but a bit too expensive for what you get. The hotel is far from the city centre. I knew this but underestimated it a bit. There are unfortunately no buses to the historic centre, only to the station. There is no hotel bar. Once the pool bar closes, that's it. I did not eat at the restaurant so can't evaluate it. I would rate the hotel 3 stars in stead of 4, but the price was OK. I don't regret choosing this hotel, but because of above reasons it might not be everyone's cup of tea. EDIT I really do not know where this bus stop at 2 minutes from the hotel is. No map or Internet info mentions it. The nearest existing stop is at Plaza del Caballo, which is almost a 10-minute walk. It also only has buses to the train station and no buses to the historic centre. It really doesn't help you if you try to spread misinformation.

I would like to write something positive but it is difficult to find something like that. The room is ok. Dinner catalyst served on dessert plates, a portion for children. View from the balcony massacre some kind of garbage dump or construction site. In the morning I went to drink coffee and smoke. The staff locked me in a square with a bassinet from which I could not leave. Later still the same woman who let me in there yelled at me in Spanish. MASACRA

Was here for 6 days with my daughter and had a great experience!Very nice and helpful staff! everywhere! reception, bars, cleaning staff. Everyone was very friendly. We booked halve pension. Breakfast was exclusively good! dinner was great also. Rooms are ultimate clean. so is the rest of the hotel. they change you towels and beds on request. but you can also skip cleaning by simply putting on a light at the door. swimming pools are nice the gym is great. we enjoyed our stay at this hotel absolutely recommend to everyone

Visiting solo in June this year, I revisited the Hotel Sherry Park after 36 years! What a wonderful experience. I loved my private room, the attentive staff, the Vermuteria restaurant, the beautiful pool and grounds and the helpful concierge. I will return next year and I cannot wait. Thank you all.

Beautiful hotel 20 mins walk from Jerez centre. Lovely pool, bar and great staff. Good breakfast choices. Loses one star due to bar food in the evening. Quite poor. Lots went back from all tables. Prob needs new chef. Vermuteria next door is very good though.

First time in Jerez de la frontera and the hotel was perfectly situated. There was a football match on 1 night and it was great watching it from the hotel terrace. Hotel was close to the railway station and the old part of Jerez. The staff from first entry until we left were fantastic. Will definitely be staying here again if ever back in jerez

We wanted a clean environment, a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, a European breakfast, free wifi, and free onsite parking. THIS HOTEL TICKED EVERY BOX. We chose a room with a view of the futball pitch. The decor of the room was stark white and basic, very clean. The view of the pitch was interesting and unique. The bathroom was marble green with a full-sized bathtub and a rolling cart for added convenience. <--That was a GREAT benefit after a long day of walking and touring! The breakfast was excellent! (Our favorite feature was the fresh orange juice machine.) The parking was secure. The people were kind. We will absolutely stay with B&B Hotels again.

B&B Hotel Jerez offers a convenient and quiet option for an overnight stay. Situated next to the stadium, it provides free street parking (though limited) and an underground garage for a fee. During our visit, despite an upcoming match, the rooms remained impressively silent thanks to excellent soundproofing. The hotel is modern, eco-friendly, and meets the expectations of a four-star property. The room was comfortable, clean, and functional. Staff spoke English, which was helpful, though the reception desk was often unattended — both at check-in and at check-out. While this did not cause major issues, it would be helpful if the hotel installed a call bell or maintained closer desk supervision. The main drawback was the WiFi. Although signal coverage existed, the internet connection was unstable and effectively unusable for video calls, file transfers, or even uploading simple images. For business travelers, this could be a significant disadvantage. Nonetheless, B&B Hotel Jerez provides a quiet, clean, and convenient stay for those needing a practical stop in the city.

A superb experience. Excellent hotels are managed by outstanding staff. If you are visiting Jerez for anything connected to the university this hotel is the perfect place to book. Downtown is easy to reach by foot, however, be careful with taxis. The site has an amazing view of the football stadium which gives each visitor a free experience to watch the local team play.

We always found the suites very clean after getting back from our day trips. No problems with the showers or toilets. I loved the view this hotel gave from inside of the stadium.

The rooms were very large and comfortable and the location was great (near lots of bars and restaurants as well as tourist attractions). The hotel staff were amazing! Helped us with restaurant reservations and can be contacted via WhatsApp. We checked out on the day there was an unprecedented nationwide power outage and the staff were very helpful (assisted us in conversing with taxi, offering water, etc). Highly recommend this hotel!

This Hotel is apparently either new or completely renovated recently. Everything is modern and the room (10) was apparently the standard room. Even that one is huge. With separate shower and toilet. The beds are very comfortable. And the air conditioning/climate control is affective and extremely quiet. The hotel is close to everything and there is a parking garage just 200 m away.

We stayed at this hotel because we were attending the Jerez Motogp event. Relaxed environment, wonderful and attentive staff. On Monday 28th of May we checked out and walked to the railway station. Then the world ended. A power cut. We learnt that it was throughout Spain and transportation was in chaos. They shut the station, so we walked back to the hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and after researching various travel options (or lack of) we were offered the chance to stay in our room another night at fair room rates. We ended up staying an extra three nights. A great understated but smart hotel,  perfectly situated in Jerez. Highly recommended. The staff are amazing.

This place is extraordinary! In the middle of the City so you can reach all the places of interests by foot. Also, a few buses starting in front of the door. The rooms are big and modern, comfy bed, big shower. There are a lot of places to relax at the ground floor or take your coffee (24/7!) at the inner courtyard. Or to have a Croft Twist which was very refreshing at the heat. The super friendly staff deserve a special mention. Even though it was sometimes a little difficult with English, we were always able to communicate and everyone was super helpful with any question. There was even a little birthday surprise when we arrived - thank you so much. 🫶 We will definetely come back!

Great new hotel in Jeréz de la Frontera. Some floors don't have access to elevators. Our room was in rooftop terrace and it was enchanting. Employees are great, especially Nazarè. At first, it feels a little bit quiet, but building is well restored.

Great value in downtown Jerez. Rooms were impecable and everybody at the front desk exceptionally friendly.

Beautiful suites for our holiday stay. The suites were located in a modern but characterful building and decorated nicely in a modern style. Located in a quiet part of the city, the train station and the city centre were easily reachable by foot, in just a few minutes. The suites were accommodated by a refreshing swimming pool that was shared with the other suites. The pool included free towels, beds, bean bags and chairs. The service was good and the personnel made the experience very hospitable. Everything was clean and nicely maintained to the Spanish standard, with fresh towels every two days. The price for such a nice accommodation was very reasonable. We enjoyed our stay here very much, and therefore recommend everyone to consider 'Suites Alfonso X' as a good option when looking to stay in Jerez de la Frontera.

Nice aparthotel in very central location. The garage in Plaza Madre de Dios is also quite close and can be reserved online. The rooms are spacious and they offered a cleaning service on day 2 for our 3-nights stay. Communication was easy and very friendly. Our room on 2nd floor had a consistent mold smell, which they try to hide with an automatic, regular scent in the bathroom that is very dominant. The pool is nice but could definitely use more sunbeds and larger towels. The pillows in the bed are not great either. All in all, good to stay for a night but the mold smell is not healthy for more than that.

We (2) stayed 3 nights at Suites Alfonso X in a bottom floor room away from street side. We did not have a car. Mgr Marina is fully fluent in Spanish and English and has relatives in the US. The room was excellent, pristine and very quiet. AC and heat worked perfect. Good lighting. Kitchen fully equipped with all dishes that you might need, big undercounter frige, microwave and stovetop. Located quite close to main train station, Tablao Puro Arte, 2 laundromats and a very large fully stocked Mercadona, where we got delicious Spanish food every day. About 5 min walk to main train station and 10 min to main tourist and shopping attractions. The riding school is a bit farther, maybe 15 to 30 minutes on foot but only about a mile away. If we go back to Jerez de la Frontera we'll stay at the Alfonso X Suites. PS: Alfonso X was "Alfonso the Wise", an early Spanish leader.

Incredible experience. This was the best service we got in all of Spain. Easily the most professional and kind staff. A big thank you for welcoming us. I would not pick any other hotel. The rooms are beautiful, clean and with lots of light. There are all the basics for the kitchen and the shower.

Stunning suites hotel in Jerez, just on the edge of the city centre and so perfect. In a beautifully and stylshly renovated mansion house, it is stunning especially the central skylit foyer. During the summer the pool area would be amazing as well. Great staff, with perfect English spoken.

Great hotel in an excellent location in the city centre with underground parking. The breakfasts are excellent with plenty of choice, fried eggs, bacon, tortilla, ham, cheeses, fresh fruit, plenty to choose from. Reception was fast and explained what was needed to be known. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Now, we stayed in the fourth floor room with a terrace. The terrace was large, private and had an excellent view from the roof terrace. Unfortunately this appears to have dramatically reduced the size of the bedroom, there was very little space between the bed, the small desk and a step which led onto the roof terrace, it made moving around the room difficult. The bathroom was great and well presented.

Worst hotel we have stayed in , its basically a Hostel nothing open only one member of staff on duty no bar and no service. To top it off the smell of sewage coming from AC vents is bad and quite possibly a health hazard. The restaurant is something from Soviet era. We had a terrace with sunloungers that were well used to say the least, also no water in the room so i had to pay 10 euros for 2 litres. Mini fridge is not working. Stains on the walls that would not be out of place in a prison. Go elsewhere if you want a relaxing stay in Jerez. Unlucky for us we have 2 more days to endure.

This hotel is in a great location for walking around Jerez. We didn’t need a car for anything. The front desk employees were nice and gave us recommendations for things to do, including a flamenco show that was very enjoyable. The room was clean and large with a big closet and a safe. The shower was very powerful but the shower head was tilted so it was a bit awkward. The AC struggled with the humidity but we had 2 keys so we were able to run it while we were away. I would certainly stay here again.

Disappointing and Overrated Apart from its central location, this hotel has little to offer. The 4-star rating seems completely exaggerated. The entire place feels stuck in the 1980s — the rooms are worn-out and in dire need of renovation. Furnishings include a dated mini-fridge and an enormous oak wall unit straight out of another era. The worst part by far was the non-functioning air conditioning. The room felt like it was 40 degrees Celsius, making it impossible to get any sleep. To make matters worse, there wasn’t even a bottle of water provided in the room. Overall, a complete disaster — extremely disappointing, especially coming from a well-known hotel chain. After complaining at 3:00 AM, we were at least given some water — free of charge. We were also moved to a room in the “premium” category. Unfortunately, it turned out to be just as bad as the first one. The only real difference is that this room has a window that can be opened for ventilation, whereas the previous room only had a window facing an inner courtyard, making it extremely stuffy. Sadly, the new room faces the main street and is located on the second floor. The noise from the cobblestone road and heavy traffic outside is so loud that it’s still impossible to get any sleep. So here we are — sleepless in Jerez.

The air conditioning in the room was completely broken, and the heat was unbearable! it honestly felt like trying to sleep in a sauna: there was no fresh air, and even with the window open, it didn’t help at all. It was stifling, and I couldn’t get any rest. To make things worse, there was no drinking water provided in the room not even a small bottle. Only chlorinated tap water, which wasn’t drinkable. It was extremely uncomfortable and honestly exhausting. It’s hard to believe guests are expected to pay for this experience. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I stayed at Casa Palacio for a long weekend and absolutely adored it. The place is amazing, super clean and Maria is just awesome. Super nice. We recommend it 100%. If you’re ever around, book this place and make sure you have dinner at La Carboná.

I usually dont write reviews but this was a MUST!! This place is a hidden gem. Couldn't find a room in Cadiz ,Cadiz and stumbled on this paradise by accident! Jose the owner and his son extremely thoughtful. Best customer service I've received in Spain. The decoration is to die for! AUTHENTIC Spanish style. I recommend anyone traveling to Andalucia to stop in Jerez and stay here at Casa Palacio. Words will not do this place justice you have to see it and experience in person!

Palacio del Virrey Laserna is one of my favourite places to take visitors to. I've probably been there 4 or 5 times and all the people I've taken there have enjoyed it. It's a chance to hear the history of a beautiful house from a first hand perspective which brings it all to life. You'll hear about pieces of beautiful furniture and artworks by well known artists and how they came to be in their family's possession and you'll see family photos and hear anecdotes about life in the house. The gardens are a lovely surprise too.

We stayed for one night. The castle looks very old and very romantic. It's located in the central part of the city near a parking, which is a great convenience. They welcomed us very kindly and expeditiously. There is a courtyard with a large charming garden with a swimming pool where you can enjoy some peace and quiet. The furnishings in the guest house are dated but well maintained and clean. There are artworks all over the walls. We were very pleasantly surprised by the compliments in the room - coffee, biscuits, cupcakes and nuts. The bed was super comfortable, which is a big plus. We didn't do the tour of the building due to lack of time, so I can't recommend it.

We had to go and find a cash machine as they only took cash. We left the pushchair in the lobby, as understandably we couldn't take it through the house. There are some stairs to navigate from the garden back into the house. In each room, items of interest were pointed out. Our tour guide was the son of the family, who still lives in the house. Would be great to stay in the house and amuse the pool in the garden.

7 nights in March . The room was very spacious and there was the balcony. The hotel stand beside the big road, but there was no problem with the noise. It was very comfortable and decent hotel.

We had a comfortable single night stay at the NH Jerez. We went for the lower cost inside facing room that doesn’t have a view. It was no problem as we weren’t wanting to sit in the room anyway but rather to explore the city. The bed was very comfortable and the large shower was very much appreciated. We took the breakfast option and there was a reasonable buffet selection. It is smaller than other NH hotels that I have stayed at. The breakfast room is small and there was a group there at the same time but we managed to still get everything. The check-in service was disappointing. The person was on the phone while doing my check-in. I felt like I wasn’t being attended to and they rushed to give information. Of course it was a busy time at check-in with others there, but I do expect some personal attention as I am the one paying for the room. The hotel is about 20 mins walk from the old city, so the location is reasonable.

The hotel is okay but lacks amenities. The restaurant is closed for some reason. There is no nice areas to sit and have a drink. The breakfast was okay but the hot breakfast options were limited and not very appetising, there was only dry scrambled eggs, overcooked bacon or some small little sausages. The most annoying thing about this hotel it being disturbed during the night by a nightclub across the road, the music woke us many times during the night. I did not feel well rested as a result. We had a junior suite which was nice but had a very small bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the towels are very soft.

A nice hotel with good rooms spoilt by the discotheque across the road. If you are a light sleeper, then this is a hotel to avoid. I have just spent Friday and Saturday here and slept about 4 hours all weekend. The music that booms out all night until 6am is unbearable. Whilst I know this is not the hotels fault, I think guest should be aware of this before booking. What should have been a relaxing birthday weekend ended up being a miserable event. One that I would not repeat. I am looking forward to a good nights sleep at home.

Centrally located. My wife and I recently stayed here for three nights. This is a property we will never stay in again- a frustrating disappointment. We have traveled extensively through Spain and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. First, the hotel is dirty. The first room we were given had mold/mildew on th wall by the bed. We were moved to an ‘upgraded’ room that was only marginally cleaner- no mold. Room furniture was worn; bedsheet had frays and a tear. The breakfast bar was also a disappointment. Food quality marginal; ítems missing. For exmple, cereals were available but I saw no cold cow’s milk to put on the cereal. Vegetarian unfriendly. The man at the reception desk is the only positive. He helped as he could but he cannot make up for a property that has not been properly cleaned and maintained for a long time. Bottom-line recommendation: stay somewhere else. Avoid this hotel.

Honestly I think the only reason they have 4 stars is because they comply with certain things like having reception overnight. I arrived to my room and there was hair in the shower, I kindly asked the receptionist to sort it out, after three hours I came back and the hairs were still there, she said the cleaning crew had sorted it out, clearly not. The rooms are outdated, the bed feels like sleeping on a piece of cheap foam, the room is noisy as if you were sleeping on the street and you can hear constant water running through the walls and the pool is ridiculous I wish I had gotten the three star hotel my friends got which was much better.

I took a room for only one night and enjoyed every minute in this lovely hotel. First of all the super great location, in the heart of the city centre. The room was one of the best rooms I ever visited, it's a huge room very comfortable and we'll designed. The bathroom is also huge with also a bath and a duch. The breakfast was really good with lots of options and finally the stuff was so kind and helpful. I'll com back definitely!!!!!!

Super nice service from the ladies at the reception, which made it a very pleasant stay. Room was big, location of the hotel couldn't have been better (very central), calm environment, child-friendly. We preferred to take breakfast at a nearby panaderia, but it was also provided in the hotel.

They disable the air con "in winter" so even though its 27 degrees and we are from Scotland so can't sleep in our rooms due to the heat. It is akin to me having a hotel in Scotland and telling Spanish tourists it's not cold at 5 degrees, so I'm not turning on the heating... If it was for environmental reasons they'd put solar panels on the roof and say they do provide heating (ideal in 27 degrees...). Sadly it's just cheap which for a 4 star hotel is very disappointing. Staff when I explained to them that for a lot of tourists 27 degrees is really hot spoke to me like I was a 4 year old. Room is tiny so for 2 people it's like a sauna.

Good hotel. Friendly staff that were very helpful in accomodating changes. Only issue is that the phone of the reception echoes through the building so acts as unwanted wake up call. Rooms are decorated in dark colours. Rooftop swimming pool is crowded with four people in it but is a nice quiet retreat after a day in town. Interesting view. Breakfast I would describe as Spanish. Meant in a positive way.

Stayed for two nights in February and really wanted to like the property as it seemed to be good value. The staff was friendly and the breakfast service was a nice option. Unfortunately, the sound insulation in the room (#7) we were staying in was very poor and we could hear people in the street, above us, below us, and worst of all next to us all night. I kid you not, the people that live/stay in the property next to the room were up all night walking around, up-and-down stairs, and we heard every single footstep. Also, the street, while small allows cars and motorcycles through and the narrowness of the road results in an echo effect where the noise is amplified. Also, something is wrong with the plumbing on that side of the building as the toilet and/or bidet would “burp” every hour or so very noisely. Over the two nights, I think I got about 5 hours of sleep due to the noise. We should’ve asked for a room change after the first night, but it wasn’t that bad on night #1 compared night to #2. By then it was too late. Anyways, if you’re sensitive to noise at night make sure you don’t get put up in room #7.

Loved the place and personnel. Only thing missing in the room was the option to make some coffee and tea. Rest perfect!

I loved this boutique hotel! We stayed there with friends for my birthday weekend 12-15 April and I am so glad we chose it. It’s in a quiet, but central part of Jerez where it’s easy to reach anything on foot. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - loved the bed - daily room cleaning was much appreciated. Wonderful, large terrace, too. Breakfast was generous and varied and I loved the charming Elena who served us every morning and kept us all happy with her positivity and brightness, and she also got some vegan options for me. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. And you even get lemon water and free apples in the lobby! It’s the little touches that make a difference. Highly recommended!

A lovely hotel with friendly staff. Renovated and fits in well with the character of the area. We stayed three nights in one of the larger rooms on the terrace. Everything was in good order, very quiet and comfortable. The hotel staff helped us with good recommendations for entertainment and transportation. Short walk to the historic center, restaurants, supermarket etc. We would not hesitate to stay again!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and were more than pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome. They sent us several apps in advance to welcome us, provide parking and suggest restaurants. When we arrived, Ana even reserved a restaurant for us and she arranged a lovely surprise for my birthday ❤️. The entrance hall and courtyard are beautiful with a mini swimming pool but all very tastefully decorated. When you arrive on the roof terrace, all you can say is " wow". Nice extras are the coffee and water available for you. The rooms are definitely tasteful and equipped with every comfort. We will definitely return!

This is a lovely small boutique hotel hidden away in the heart of Jerez de la Frontera. We were warmly welcomed and provided with lots of information about the local attractions. Our accommodation consisted of a bedroom, lounge and bathroom which were all very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room very quiet. It had good wifi and air-conditioning which was a welcome relief on a very hot day. We had no trouble unloading the car outside the hotel before taking it to a parking station nearby. An excellent breakfast was included. The place was very secure.

We had a fantastic week at Gitanilla. The staff couldn’t not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The apartments were exactly what we would have wished for, with authentic regard for the locality and tastefully and beautifully done. Jerez was a joy, with lots to see and do and many excellent and very reasonably priced restaurants. We strongly recommend a visit and a stay at La Gitanilla. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

What makes a stay here so special is the personal touches and passion of the owner, Virginia to ensure you have the best time! She makes excellent recommendations and ensures all goes well. We had come from The Paradore in Cádiz but Virginias breakfast was far better…tranquil setting, personal touches and quality fresh ingredients.

What a beautiful hotel in a great location! Virginia started communicating with us via WhatsApp before we even arrived, just to make sure we would easily find the place. During our stay, she was always happy to provide tips about what to visit and where to eat, and she even took time to chat with us, which we really appreciated. Our room was spacious, well-furnished, and quiet. Being able to use the terrace at all times was also great, especially considering the beautiful view of the cathedral. The hotel is well situated, less than five minutes from the cathedral, but on a quiet side street, which is ideal for a good night’s sleep. Having breakfast with homemade tortilla and many other delicious options was a great start to every morning. Thank you, Virginia! We do hope to be back soon!

An absolute gem! We we welcomed by a friendly and efficient young lady. She advised us where to park, and with amap of the area and restaurant recommendations, together with a flamenco suggestion for the evening, which kindly booked for us. The room was spotless, and the breakfast on the terrace absolutly perfect. Virginia we met at breakfast was such a charming lady. It was our only 1 night visit to Jerez, we will definitely return and stay here.

Terrible Experience – Rude Staff We tried to visit this rooftop bar, but the bouncer was unbelievably rude and refused us entry for no valid reason. Instead of being professional, he was dismissive and condescending. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can only imagine how bad the service inside must be. Plenty of other great spots in the city—don’t waste your time here!

Location couldn't be better and a taxi rank outside which makes getting to Jerez airport so easy (€15-20). A rooftop bar with a pool and a bar. The bar is well used at night. You could hear it a bit in the rooms, but not massively. Good views from rooftop. Breakfast was good, but maybe next time I'd get breakfast in Jerez itself The staff were all friendly, but note when booking that reception is not always staffed. The bouncer on the door keeps the riffraff from going to polite, but was always courteous and seemed to have a good eye for who was and wasn't a guest. The rooms were really spacious, but bathroom shower floor looked a bit disappointing. My only critique, and some will see it as a positive, was getting access to the room. It took about 10 goes. I honestly don't know if it was broken, temperamental, or a case of user hour. But without a staffed reception it gave me anxiety.

Superb modern apartments right in the centre of the old town. Modern, clean, spacious with a beautiful roof top pool and stunning roof bar. 100% recommend a stay here and very cheap car parking next door.

Excellent location in the centre of Jerez, loads of tapas bars just around the corner and the alcazar and catedral a short walk away. The train and bus stations are about 15 minutes away, with trains or buses to Cadiz and Sanlucar de Barrameda, where we spent two days exploring and swimming on the fabulous beaches. We stayed in a suite - 2 adults and 2 children - for 4 nights and had plenty of space. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace, good choice and friendly service. We used the swimming pool on the roof once, it was clean and a great way to refresh after a hot day out. The rooftop bar is busy in the evening, but the service is great and we enjoyed the view. All in all we were very happy and would stay there again.

Be aware! They do NOT have their own parking but referring to the public parking across the road or other parking's in town but they are all very (too) small. I could not get room to park a BMW X5, not a chance. Also big risk to scratch your own car and others trying. We had to leave for another place to stay!

Where will the 3rd person sleep? Vage instructions for the breakfast and 80% of the staff doesn't speak an understandable level of English

We got a great price and I’m glad we booked this place! It has spacious rooms, good staff that also speaks English, decent breakfast spread for the 12€ asking price and clean overall surroundings. There are around 15 parking spots at the site, but there is enough parking space around the vicinity.

Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Needs a little updating though. Not the best place to stay if you want to relax in your room. The walls are thin. I could hear the person in the next room snoring all night. The room must have been located next to the housekeeping room. I heard them talking and slamming objects. I've stayed there several other times and had better experiences.

We’ve returned to the Hotel Itaca for the past five years, and usually stay for three weeks during the flamenco festival. The property was always nice but the recent remodeling was quite an improvement. The rooms with balconies look out onto the plaza and have lovely sunset views. We love the staff and the location couldn’t be better— walking distance to everything in Jerez. Breakfast is a real treat, with delicious, fresh food served in a stunning historic chapel.

The receptionist was very helpful in ringing and booking me a doctors appointment. Coffee capsule's and water provided in the room. Powerful shower and good wifi. Hotel Itaca had me swept off my feet , the location is the best place in town, rooms, world class, excellent views of the town square from the classical Spanish balconies. The staff were wonderful and their attention to small details really makes you feel at home, I had great interactions with all of them but especially Alvaro, who spoke impeccable English, practically organised my holiday for me via recommendations, He switched from English to Spanish seamlessly to go from helping me to another guest. Very long story short, Hotel Itaca is a hidden gem and a gift that keeps on giving, I had a wonderful stay and can not wait to go back

The only reason it not getting 4 stars for the room is that aircondition in room 101 was not working well. Room stayed hot until window could be opened after midnight to let in a fresh breeze. This is a great place to stay right in the middle of Jerez de la Frontera. The lobby and public spaces are lovely, and the staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable - it has a good family run feel about it. Our room was extremely good value (about £70 a night for a double) so we weren't expecting much, but in fact it was perfect - very simple but spotless, beautifully decorated, and well appointed with everything we needed. Very comfy bed. Air conditioning worked perfectly, which was lucky because the weather was hot, about 35C.

Do not ask them to book you a taxi you will get scammed. The price in the taxi was 35 Euros and didn’t change the whole ride. (Illegal btw) I assumed it was broken it also said it was occupied by 5 people I was alone. When i reached out to the hotel to ask the average price of a ride to the airport they could not tell me when I asked what taxi service they used they could not tell me either. They only provided me with a number that after calling 3 times a day for 3 days never answered. They did nothing to help the situation they caused I would’ve been better off standing in the street with my thumb up. Also their towels were hard and smelly.

The rooftop terrace offers a cosy and clean space with beautiful views of Jerez, and the guest house is quiet and peaceful with no parties. Despite always arriving late, their late check-in system after reception hours has been seamless without any problems. I've never had any issues with early check-outs, either. Vivian is incredibly kind and accommodating, always offering helpful recommendations for activities in Jerez and the surrounding Cadiz area. I always choose to stay here when visiting Cadiz

Vivian's is a great place to stay in Jerez. She is very friendly, helpful and efficient. I had a lovely private room and bathroom. The sheets were spotlessly clean as was the room and the pillow comfortable. It is in a great location for the bodegas, tabancos, Cathedral and Churches. It is a beautiful building and the kitchen is big and well provided for. A lovely inner Moroccan courtyard leads to the modern kitchen and dining space. Having just walked the Camino and come South, I think this is a superb hostel and a very well run business. I wish Vivian great success and thoroughly recommend her guest house as your choice to stay in the lovely Jerez.

Vivian is a wonderful host, cheerful and helpful. It seems that she is very satisfied from running her guesthouse, and although there where not so many guests the place was very much lively. This hotel should be rated 2 stars at least and not just 1. The entire premises was recently renovated with thoughtful touches yet keeping the authentic majestic atmosphere of this old establishment. The shared kitchen was surprisingly suited for actual simultaneous cooking. Places like this spark up the whole touristic experience in Andalusia, as it is a rare find in this region.

Liked the location & the 1 bed duplex which was spacious. Helpful Manager. Found the property very noisy as we could clearly hear people in other apartments day & night. Duplex can be noisy too with bedroom on mezzanine level. Our bed was uncomfortable - getting out of it was like rolling uphill!!

Good location. Needs some maintenance on facilities as otherwise the apartments will become obsolete. Aircon did not work, one toilet was broken, water hardly ran on the shower upstairs. The towels were scarce and very worn/old.

Comfortable stay in impressive, historic converted winery with secure,off street covered parking in garage. Juan was  hospitable and is fluenct in English too. He gave detailed recomemdations of what to do,see and eat in the area and our Old Town location 450 m from Cathedral/Alcázar etc is perfect for exploring Jerez. We ate twice at Bar Arturo which turned out to be an excellent choice where the locals enjoy fantastic seafood from the Gulf of Cadiz/Sanlúcar. We stayed in the 2 bedroom  accomodation with charming stone walls,high ceilings,cellar door etc. The bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet ensuring a peaceful stay. The bathroom had character, the shower was a bit awkward as it's best to hand hold the head rather than leave it fixed. It's alternative rose head did not screw securely. The floor can fill with water including rug as it's not enclosed. The toilet paper was wafer thin too. There's a beautiful,secluded communal patio and terrace to enjoy. There is a kitchen dining area which is well kept. Juan left some provisions including milk for the coffee although coffee is luke warm. The washing machines are located separately in a storage room at the end of  the garage, but you need to use  two bundles of keys to gain access and return to the room which is inefficient. There's no drying facilities. On the downside Juan charges supplements for cleaning (30€) and for extra guests (35€ per guest) which, in my experience is excessive given many Hotels don't charge anything and Eurostars Guadaquivir Sevilla only 14€. Overall a really authentic experience with some room for improvement. Some suggestions would include having a welcome pack with house guidelines in both Spanish and English including details like Wifi code, places to visit, maps. Reduce the required bundles of keys. Add a recycling point and other additional minor upgrades suggested here.

We had a fabulous stay at EntreBodegas unit#2. The unit itself is unique and reflects the sherry-bodega style architecture of the area. Extremely high ceiling, antique touches, and an astounding original door. Yet the modern amenities make it very comfortable in the 21st century. There is also a beautiful courtyard centerpieced by an olive tree. Well outfitted kitchen. Easy walking distance to incredible Bodegas, Tabacas, and restaurants. Juan was gracious, attentive and timely with all of our needs and supplied us with a lengthy and useful list of local places. It is a lovely spot we would love to return to!
