The Sir Christopher Wren Hotel is a stylish and grand hotel located on the picturesque stretch of Windsor, just by the river Thames and near Eton. The hotel offers 133 rooms and suites decorated in a sophisticated palette of blues and greys, with some rooms featuring Juliet-balconies or terraces overlooking the river. The communal areas are ornately decorated with impressive art collections and antique furnishings. Guests can enjoy an excellent restaurant that spills onto a terrace and gardens when the weather permits.
My wife and I had a wonderful two nights at the Sir Christopher Wren on July 3 to July 5. It is located in a very beautiful location next to the river and conveniently close to the Windsor & Eton train station. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We were especially appreciative of Kyle at reception who assisted us with making sure we were happy with our room choice. His customer service was exceptional. The rooms are of a high standard and very clean. The restaurant and bar staff were also outstanding and made sure we had everything we needed. We thought the food quality and selection was excellent.

Treated my friend for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday. The place was beautiful and we got seated by the window overlooking the river. The staff were very friendly and polite and made us feel so welcomed. The food was beautifully presented and the sandwiches were soft and delicious, we were asked if we liked more but wanted to enjoy the pastries and warm scones that were so tasty and lovingly made. The highlight was the waiters and waitresses coming out with a treat singing happy birthday to my friend, which really touched her and made it so special. Thank you for all the love and care shown. Will be recommending to friends & family.
Lila P — Google review
Lovely location on the river. The room was excellent and in the main building (as opposed to the annexed building across the street). The off-site parking was easy to find from the directions provided and ample spaces available at an additional cost. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially in reception. The food was good and the breakfast selection was excellent. No more than a 10 minute walk to the main castle entrance and/or across the river into Eton. We will definitely stay here again.
Steve F — Google review
This hotel is in a fabulous position situated on the banks of the Thames with amazing views and just a very short walk to the town centre and the castle. We arrived early about 1230 and our room was ready andwaiting. Reception staff are so friendly and helpful with staff around to help carry your bags to your room. Our room was one of the biggest we have stayed in for a long time with a king size bed, small two seater sofa, side table and two more arm chairs. Complimentary tea, coffee etc which was refilled every morning but if you needed more in between times ask at reception for them. One large free bottle of still water in the room but again if needed another can be bought from reception. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, there are just so many restaurants in Windsor tyou are spoilt for choice. Waiting staff always try to sit you with a view of the river but again not guaranteed. Food was plentiful, piping hot and tasty. Varied too in hot and cold dishes. My one and only gripe is that there is no lift (this is not mentioned on their website) and our room was up quite a number of stairs which wasnt great for me. If i had known this would have requested a low floor when booking but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked during our stay. Oh and book direct with the hotel and get a free drink of your choice from the bar.
Sue C — Google review
Excellent location Good value Staff accommodating Everything is walking distance I was in the main building in a Club room #32. It was located at the top of the stair. The stair was used by maintenance housekeeping and other guests. It was noisy all hours of the day and night. The room was comfortable with a small bath. I would avoid this room due to the stair noise and small bath. Breakfast buffet was basic and nice. It is not included on the first day of arrival. Drinks on the terrace in the afternoon is very nice. Staff are 100%. I would recommend and stay here again, just not Club room 32.

From the first minute to the last, we had a marvellous experience. We received a genuinely warm welcome on arrival, and all through our stay we found all staff engaging and efficient. The location was perfect and our room spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. We will be back.
Paul T — Google review
We have been trying to get to Windsor for over a year now to use up a gift experience that was bought for us. Decided, last minute to book hotel room for an overnight stay. So happy we did. The hotel was warm and staff were so helpful. The room was huge!! Excellent restaurant, at very reasonable cost. The best thing was waking up in the morning, looking at the swans on the Thames, what a sight. We managed to park 2 minute walk away in train station which was added bonus. There was a little bit of noise late at night, but did not bother us in the slightest, we have live and let live attitude. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Centrally placed the Sir Christopher Wren is a great place to stay when exploring Windsor and the surrounding area or just an overnight stay! Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable staff. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice restaurant and bar area with a good selection of food and drink.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Royal Windsor, the Macdonald Windsor Hotel offers a luxurious retreat just moments away from the iconic Windsor Castle. With its upscale rooms and suites, some boasting stunning views of the castle, guests can indulge in comfort while enjoying chic dining options and a stylish bar. The hotel is perfectly positioned for outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore hiking and cycling trails during the warmer months or take leisurely strolls through frost-kissed parks in winter.
We had the best time staying here. The location is absolutely perfect and the rooms were beautiful. We had three rooms booked and it was for a special occasion. I had emailed with Silvia prior to our stay and everything was arranged brilliantly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. I 100% recommend this hotel and a visit to Windsor it is beautiful. We can’t wait to return

High end amenities. The best shower I’ve ever had. Very comfortable room. The mattress, however, needs replacing - a surprisingly uncomfortable bed in an otherwise luxurious room. The restaurant is very good - excellent gnocchi! If you want to park in the hotel’s very secure enclosed space, think again. You’ll be given cryptic instructions that will make no sense at first. The downlow: plug the postal code that they scribble on a piece of paper into your gps system and it will take you through a baffling circuitous route half a mile around to the back of the hotel. Then you’ll have to call the front desk (be sure your phone works in the UK); they’ll meet you there, open the door, and direct you into a very small space. Better, I think, to park in one of the outdoor public lots. But if you are worried about crime and don’t mind the £40/day fee, it’s there for you. The staff was mostly very helpful and friendly, especially in the restaurant and housekeeping. Overall I’d give the hotel 4.5 stars, and the location is terrific.

A perfect weekend break. We recently stayed in this hotel , the rooms very very comfortable, breakfast was great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. We also booked the hotel car park, which was additional cost, but worth the hassle of not trying to find alternative parking. Would recommend, and will return
Tracey N — Google review
I stayed at Macdonald Hotel Windsor for few days on a work trip. The location was great and managed to squeeze in The Long Walk and a walk by the river. Room was spacious and clean, and the front staff were very friendly. On my last day as I was leaving the tires on my car were flat, Michael from front House very kindly offered and assisted to pump my tires. Thank you to Michael for going above and beyond, and all the staff for their kindness during my stay.

Just stayed at the Macdonald Windsor Hotel and what a lovely experience. Hotel rooms clean, modern and comfortable, the main reception welcoming and situated in the most ideal location for Windsor Castle and shops. Special mention to the staff who offered a welcoming and first class service, nothing too much trouble. Would recommend.
Julie G — Google review
We had such a lovely stay for many reasons. The location right beside Windsor Castle was perfect for walking around the lovely town and seeing the castle. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable and the breakfast had a wide range of food to choose from.
Carol T — Google review
We were lucky to get an upgrade. Room was spectacular, bathroom large with separate shower and good collection of shampoos etc. Breakfast was self service which I prefer and cooked items were good, also a nice selection of cereals and fruit. We had booked a car park space thank heavens, as parking so central is very hard to find space. Check out was quick and efficient.
Ros C — Google review
The room was great and clean. Need to add more plugs and hooks for coats, towels etc. Most importantly the WiFi is truly awful. Understand that the hotel is close to the palace but there must be some way to improve it for guests.

The Castle Hotel Windsor offers a contemporary stay with free Wi-Fi, an upscale restaurant, and an elegant lounge. The hotel's guest rooms reflect the stately elegance of Windsor Castle with high ceilings, muted color schemes, fireplaces, and classy design features. The Leaf at the Castle restaurant serves fantastic British cuisine while the garden terrace provides a scenic spot to enjoy meals.
The Castle Hotel exceeded my expectations and we had a brilliant few days in Windsor. The location is very central with the Castle opposite and Windsor Great Park at the end of the road. Shops, restaurants and the river are very close by. The room and the bathroom were spacious, well equipped and comfortable. All the public areas were very lovely and we experienced great service and attention from all the staff. The food, including the breakfast, was exceptional .

This hotel is very conveniently located just steps of Windsor Castle. We arrived in the early morning, and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready. The beds were very comfortable and the room was well kept and clean. The staff was amazing from the moment we checked in until we checked outl. We dining in the restaurant both evenings and breakfast, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was a buffet and orrered a great variety of hot and cold foods. We plan on staying here again next year, and we recommend this hotel very highly.

This hotel has been incredible! Steps from Windsor Castle. Rooms are spacious and so so quiet. The front desk had great recommendations for places to see and eat during our stay here. I especially love the bathroom towel warmers and the extra fluffy comforter on our bed! Its such a beautiful hotel!! Would recommend to anyone who plans to visit Windsor Castle!
Sara M — Google review
Great hotel and a great location. We went with the Mews Suites which are like small apartments. Very nice and we'll appointed. Could do with a bit of an update which I understand is coming soon. Great staff in the bar and the Leaf restaurant.
Dean C — Google review
Quaint hotel with 5-Star service and atmosphere. Efficient layout that was workable in the available space, didn't feel cramped. Only down side was the time to draw hot water, especially at the sink, but even in the shower. However, once it got hot, it was very hot. Complimentary breakfast buffet was of high caliber. A pot of coffee or tea was served at your table upon being seated. Food selection included: juices, fruited waters, dry cereal and milk, fresh fruit, mini croissants (plain and chocolate), assortment of fresh bread baguettes and sliced bread, selection of jams, butter, sliced fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, sliced meats, sausage, bacon, sauteed mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, and scrambled eggs. We were informed that if a different form of cooked egg was preferred (fried, poached, boiled, etc) to ask the wait-staff at no charge.
L W — Google review
Very good hotel that provides excellent services in all areas. Great breakfast, very good meals, great rooms and conference facilities. And all of that at a wonderful location with 'the castle' and bus stops right at the hotel. Very satisfied, and I will definitely come back at next opportunity.
Ulrich J — Google review
What an incredibly bad experience. To start with you have to make your way thru a restaurant lobby over carpeting thru twists and turns to find the reception area. There is no help and no one greeting you. The building is old. I expected that given where it is but I didn’t expect old dirty carpets, banged up walls and a hotel in generally poor condition. The room was small. I would estimate about 180 sq ft. The carpet in the room was also old and dirty. The floor squeaked-a lot. The bathroom door would not close. There were not enough face cloths. The TV didn’t work. Worst of all though was the noise level. Apparently there was a wedding in the hotel which could be heard throughout. No big deal as it ended about midnight. Then the party continued in the rooms. When I called the front desk I was told the bridal suite was next to us. Did anyone ever think to put a member of the wedding party in the room next to the bridal suite? The front desk said they would ask them to be more quiet. It didn’t help. The walls are paper thin. They offered me late check out as a remedy. Ridiculous.

I stayed four lovely nights in the Jr suite which was right on High Street. The staff, the food and the amenities were all first rate. Best eggs Benedict that I’ve ever had in my life. I will definitely be returning.

Oakley Court is a refined hotel located along the picturesque River Thames, boasting an array of amenities such as multiple restaurants, a spa, a gym, and tennis courts. The 19th century Gothic Revival architecture of this Grade 2 listed building exudes a distinctive charm and is set in over 30 acres of grounds.
Just spent a delightful weekend at Oakley Court. Wonderful setting, delicious food and attentive staff. We booked a cabana for lunch at River House which was a huge success and everyone went out of their way to look after us. Also booked self drive boats for a hour on the river which was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel and only an hour or so from London. Ideal.
Claudia A — Google review
Oakley Court is one of the most stunning grounds I’ve stayed on. I couldn’t believe how vast the space was with it over looking the Thames - it’s the perfect mix of regal and tranquil. The rooms are great, staff are delightful and the food was amazing! The whole place is breathtaking and you get to see more of it on the boat rides they do. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back.
LA — Google review
Rating: 6/10 The grounds are beautiful and the food is good, but the overall experience could use more care. Furniture by the water was stained and unusable, and even the room furniture had visible marks. We initially booked self-guided boats but canceled after seeing how poorly maintained they were. The TV in the room is extremely outdated — the only way to stream is through your phone, and for some reason it kept turning on by itself in the middle of the night, waking us up with its light. It seriously needs replacing. Board games were mostly empty boxes covered in dust, despite being advertised as an amenity. Breakfast hours were inconsistent (one day until 11am, another day closed before 10am), which was confusing and disappointing. Towels were also insufficiently provided. The River House restaurant was the worst part: we waited over an hour for a burger, received no apology, and were still charged a £7.50 service fee. The staff would benefit from better training and attention to service. Overall, it’s an “okay” experience with lovely surroundings, but it lacks attention to detail — even at checkout, the reception felt a bit absent-minded.
Eva S — Google review
My family stayed just one night to celebrate my wife's birthday, taking 4 rooms in total. The rooms are very traditionally furnished, in keeping with the style of the house and the beds were extremely comfortable. Dinner was excellent - both the quality of the food and the service. Staff were friendly, helpful and generally very chilled (without being unattentive). And it's a dog-friendly hotel, so our family furry friend could join in the celebrations. I would undoubtedly return
Gary L — Google review
Incredible location for our stay and event. The staff worked tirelessly to accommodate all our needs. The grounds are gorgeous situated on the Thames and the nature views all around really made the venue stand out. Highly recommend.
Tsvetelina T — Google review
I booked a long weekend with my daughters and one fiancé as a surprise break for them- initially choosing it as a venue because of the Rocky Horror connection. We’re all fans, and i thought it would please them. As a surprise it worker beautifully, and as a stay it was even better, surpassing anything i could gave hoped for. The Court itself is of course beautiful. The grounds are stunning. The most impressive part by a long way was the staff who could not have done anything more to make it a wonderful and memorable break for all of us. We pushed the boat out on Friday and joined the Chef Akira Japanese fusion tasting experience. It was a very lively, fun crowd of just 12 and wirth every penny. Stunningly good food, ably hosted, beautifully presented. Could not recommend this place enough. I absolutely loved every second of it thank you, all x
Jonathan H — Google review
Oakley Court was just breathtaking! A perfect hidden gem in the landscape of Windsor. The most stunning grounds and facilities, friendly and lovely staff and delicious food! The rooms and decor was perfect and it just had such a lovely vibe overall the entire time I was there! I can’t wait to go back and spend the weekend with the girls!
Shanice N — Google review
I stayed here with my husband and dog for a weekend and enjoyed the beautiful grounds, rooms, and dining area with friendly wait staff especially in the main dining room. The bike ride along the Thames was a lovely way to see the area and visit the castle while avoiding the crowds. I did have some difficulty with communication, but in the end Oakley Court staff sorted it out.

Nestled in the charming town of Eton, the Christopher Hotel Eton is a delightful blend of history and modern comfort. This boutique hotel, housed in an 18th-century coaching inn, boasts beautifully designed rooms and suites that feature unique decor elements like intricately carved wooden headboards and stunning nature-inspired walls. Guests can enjoy spacious accommodations equipped with large beds, coffee machines, and smart TVs for a cozy stay.
Beautiful little hotel in Eaton. Walking distance to Windsor. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was great. Free drink voucher was a really nice touch. The only thing to note is the entrance, nothing to do with the hotel or anything, just if you have a big, wide car, you might struggle to get it through the arch way.
Cat H — Google review
Fantastic place with a great location (walking distance for the busy town/Windsor Castle) and nice rooms. The staff here are excellent, super helpful and super friendly. Free drink on arrival is a great touch and breakfast was excellent with the ability to mix and match the hot food as needed. Just be aware the entrance and parking area is very tight for larger cars (was tight for my Macan) and make sure you reserve a spot before arrival.
Richard H — Google review
Fantastic hotel ideal location walking distance to Windsor Castle and right near Eton School for the tour - staff are so friendly and the breakfast was lovely. We stayed in a really quiet room and had a free drinks voucher to use which was a nice touch. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend 😊

Lovely little hotel. Fabulous staff. They really know the meaning of customer service. Couldn't have been nicer or more helpful even with last minute changes. Birthday cards and chocolates in the room for my partner. Fabulous breakfast. All in all, a really comfortable, welcoming stay. Bonus was that we were upgraded to a junior suite!
Sally M — Google review
I recently booked The Christopher Hotel for a work training event, booking both rooms and the meeting room. We were lucky to have the use of the newly decorated meeting room. Emma was so helpful looking after us along with the other team members of the hotel. The breakfast was amazing too! Thank you The Christopher Team!
Catherine D — Google review
An excellent little hotel with lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the welcome drink on arrival was a lovely touch. Great location for Windsor Castle, Eton and The Thames.
Alan S — Google review
Does what it says on the tin. It's a reasonable hotel offering bed and breakfast only, but with the added bonuses of being a 5 minute walk from Windsor and offering cheap overnight parking. Unfortunately the perk of being able to charge your electric car for free didn't happen for myself and another guest as neither of us could get the charging point to work and reception didn't seem able to help. The entrance to the car park is just wide enough to get a Range Rover Evoque through.
Graham S — Google review
Really nice neighborhood, a bit off the windsor castle tourist craze in Eton. Mattress was around 130x180, which is quite tight for two, couldnt sleep well. Lovely staff and nice breakfast. Parking cost 15 quid extra but worth it. Good challenge for driving skills as the entrance is really narrow.

We have just stayed one night, we had the suite with the beautiful roll top bath. The room was clean and very comfortable. All the staff were helpful and friendly . Location wise is great takes approx 10-15 min to walk into Windsor. Breakfast was lovely good range to choose from and freshly cooked. Definitely recommend staying here
Sarah W — Google review
We were walking the Thames path and stayed in this hotel when we visited Windsor. The service was excellent. The gentleman who served us in the restaurant was the standout experience during our stay. The breakfast was excellent and the location perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the shower powerful and the room was clean. If I have any criticism, it’s that the decor is looking tired and in need of some improvement. That said I gladly stay at thd hotel again.
Kevin J — Google review
Sarah was absolutely fantastic! :-) She clearly cares so much about her guests and genuinely wants them to have the best time possible at this hotel. She was so friendly, helpful and cheerful. We were upgraded on arrival, which was an unexpected and wonderful surprise....as was the free welcome drink! :-) Our room was 36. It was a really nice room...but it could do with a sheer blind as well as curtains for privacy in the day (which I did mention as a suggestion). The cooked breakfasts were really great and there was a choice of continental too. We loved our stay at this hotel and we will definitely return. The hotel and location is excellent. The carpark is relatively small, but we arrived late and still had space to park and it is very secure. Thank you to everyone at the Royal Adelaide Hotel! We had a great time.

Central hotel. Location to Windsor so convenient and has parking if you book in advance. Breakfast choice was wonderful. I really enjoyed this. Coffee let it down as I'm not fussed on a caffitier. The double Bed was super comfy. Room was a little hot but that's because we didn't switch on the air con. However we did eat in there restaurant and I really enjoyed my food. Free complimentary drink (of your choice) on arrival. Complimentary bottle of Water in the room. Quality tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Little G — Google review
A friend and I spent a night here as it was a 5 minute walk to the castle, an excellent location. We booked a deluxe twin room and were so pleased that each bed was a double. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever come across and I have stayed in many hotels, Sarah and Ismail were particularly good. I will definitely return!
Donna J — Google review
Unfortunately, I can't give a better rating than this. Obviously, the hotel has much better rooms than we received, but they decided to provide us with the worst of them. Room No. 1, please avoid as much as you can. As we booked two rooms, the other was really good and had a truly boutique style and size. Room No. 1 - dirty walls, dirty carpet, extremely small, no curtains, and you feel like you've done something wrong to someone, and they've put you to stay overnight in a shed with small rooms, featuring a kind of lobby that was more like a closet with a couch. Booked a suite but received the worst room ever and you still booked and paid for suite
Bobby — Google review
Was not bad, but was definitely overpriced. The rooms look amazing on website but with Heathrow flight path being right above the hotel you definitely won't be getting a lie in. The room itself was OK, but very small for a double at that price! Windsor is beautiful and will be coming back. But won't be coming back to stay here

Gilbey’s bar was a very nice and lovely place to eat lunch and dinner the staff here were so nice especially my server kalina, kalina was one of the best servers I’ve ever had in my experience at dining at restaurants she was so lovely and polite so if she is your server you’ll have a great dining experience overall the restaurant was great, the food was phenomenal so I would suggest if your looking to dine in the Windsor area go to gilbeys

We visit Gilbey’s quite often and have used the group dining a few times. Today, as usual, the food was excellent as was the service. For us this is the best restaurant in Windsor by some way.
Angus M — Google review
Been previously a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it but unfortunately the food and service has gone downhill. The restaurant was completely dead and had no atmosphere, made worse by us being placed in a separate room on our own even though we could have been sat in the main area. We asked to be moved which for some reason meant the staff should argue with us about it being quiet, still trying to figure this out. Then the food, ok at best, under seasoned and overpriced and my pie manged to have no flavour to the point I thought I am not wasting calories and left it!! Plenty of other restaurants in Windsor to go for and I suggest you try them instead, worth the punt. Ohhh wait forgot to add the staff cleaning up quite loudly whilst we were eating after being moved, does give a real “get out I want to go home” vibe, yep we felt welcome! As said before cheaper and better in Windsor do not waste your money here.

The food here is always excellent, a real hidden gem for Windsor and Eton, great atmosphere and superb service every time.

Comfortable room but up 3 steep flights of stairs. Don't come here to stay unless you're pretty fit! Very good food for dinner, especially the pork belly and chicken supreme. They give you a permit to park nearby so pretty convenient. Great location with easy walk to Windsor.

I don't know about the room, I did not stay. But the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. I will surely visit again

Lovely meal in the private dining room with our International Finance team.
Richard B — Google review
The food is lovely, but for the price I would expect a higher level of front of house service. For example, the staff spent rather a while sorting through large buckets cutlery at the bar, which was so loud that my partner couldn’t hear me talk. They also spent periods speaking loudly about another member of staff who wasn’t in that day, so our conversation was often drowned out with staff gossip, which wasn’t relaxing for us. We should have asked the staff if the cutlery could be sorted in the kitchen instead, but the waitresses weren’t very smiley or warm so we decided to leave it. We wont be returning to this one, I’m afraid.

The LEGOLAND Resort Hotel is a vibrant and enchanting destination that every LEGO enthusiast should experience. With its captivating dragon-guarded entrance and interactive LEGO installations, this hotel sparks creativity and joy for guests of all ages. Families can dive into the fun at the colorful pirate-themed splash park or explore themed rooms designed to ignite imaginations.
Spent 3 days în Legoland with my girls last week, we really enjoyed it. The weather was very nice, the staff was very kind and professional, the queues for the rides/activities were 5-15 min in general, except for Mythica which was almost an hour. We were there last week, during UK school term, so it wasn’t extremely busy. The Legoland Hotel is great, was happy there was a shop, where I needed go buy a phone charger after it was closed, and the reception helped with that. We have enjoyed the swimming pool. The Lego play room amazing, my kids loved it, and I loved it had a bar :) Special thanks to Laura from the reception, she was so professional, helpful and friendly, we ended up taking selfies with her, my kids really liked her, and we hope to meet her again there, she has people skills and can make people feel special, and the conversation was more than the usual how are you and lovely weather… We had buffet dinner once in the main restaurant, and the food was ok, not amazing, but plenty of choice and healthy options. My kids loved making their own ice team. We had lunch in the sky bistro and the pizza and burger was not ok, I can only recommend the fries. The only service that wasn’t great, was in the Sky bistro, on the 23rd April, between 12-1 pm, we told the waiter the pizza was still raw, he told another waiter, maybe colleague or supervisor, and none of them said anything, they just removed the plate and left, it was already paid, or I wouldn’t have paid for the pizza - and I’m the kind of person who can eat anything. And we’ve ordered uber eats. I also recommend getting the uber and not the taxi, which seems to be approx 30% more than uber. There were 2 other young ladies who worked in the breakfast restaurant and swimming pool reception, can’t remember their names, I think one of them was Emily.

Stayed in the pirate themed room and my grandson loved it. Bonus gift if you solve the puzzle to unlock the safe in the room. Food is very expensive but all part of the experience. Queues are long and some rides weren't open but worth the wait for the others. An enjoyable experience and staff were very friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Legoland Hotel! It was so much fun, with awesome Lego models everywhere around the hotel. Our room was clean and spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. And the location is perfect being just a short walk to the park entrance.

The hotel itself is fine. The Kingdom rooms are somewhat worn out but spacious. Found a mini pretzel under our bed. And a pen. Apparently, meant to make us pay less money for food here :) And write down all the things we are not satisfied with about our stay here First the good things - the stuff is friendly, welcoming and helpful when possible. We got our room 1h earlier than planned. We were also able to leave our bags on reception even before that to enjoy the park while the room wasn’t ready. They have arranged a welcome card with a small lego kit for our birthday kid. There was also another small kit locked in a locker in the room. To get that one the kid had to solve a riddle. We also got help searching for a very specific Lego piece that was missing from a kit we bought in the Lego store in the resort. That was a good and nice part. Overall services, however, are pretty unreliable - everything should be booked online. No centralized place for it so things are spread between SMSs, and emails. Because of checking in online, you won’t get enough information about what’s available, and what’s not in the hotel. And if some technical issue arrises with the time-slot booking service - you have to go and book you time slot for anything (like breakfast) physically anyway. Which most probably means - you won’t be able to get the slot you want and will have breakfast late, for example, instead of enjoying the rides. So I don’t really know what’s the point with these services. We’ve asked about some cake for a birthday kid and were told that we have to arrange it from Tesco (either drive yourself, or book Uber Eats). In a kids resort 🤔And there are no alternatives or options around. Hence the 2 stars for location - you’re doomed to consume whatever they have in the hotel. And then the prices. Do yourself a favor - don’t book dinner in one of the restaurants here. For the price of 28/pers (drinks excluded) you could easily take Uber to Windsor and get a better quality food for cheaper there while combining it with sightseeing as well. Then the WiFi - this is the first WiFi network that I’ve ever experienced that was not capable of running over VPN. And you don’t want to run your private things like money transactions or online bank check (you will have to do it with these prices) without VPN. So I had to stay on my mobile network. So WiFi, if you care about security, is a joke Breakfast: if you want anything other or healthier than english breakfast then the only option you have really is the muesli, I guess. The selection for breakfast is by far the most narrow of any resorts (and most regular hotels, really) and could match 3 star hotel max, unfortunately. No vegetables (except for fried tomato), no single slice of cheese. Probably because breakfast is included in the room price and the hotel doesn’t get any extra for it. Still, you have to book a slot to get even that 🤦

Fantastic visit, stayed in the themed room which was brilliant, all the staff are really polite, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Food was good, they even have room service. Rides were great. Really happy with the stay, would recommend and will be back in the future. Thank you

🌈 A stay at the LEGOLAND® Resort Hotel isn’t just a night away — it’s pure magic for the whole family. From the second you step inside, the kids’ excitement is impossible to miss: giant LEGO® models, treasure hunts in the lobby, and themed rooms that feel like stepping into another world. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 As parents, watching your children’s faces light up with joy is the real highlight. Whether it’s breakfast with LEGO characters, a pirate ship adventure before bed, or waking up to views of the park — every detail is designed to create memories you’ll cherish forever. ✨ It’s more than a hotel, it’s where family moments turn into unforgettable stories. 🏰💛

Only have room for 18 hours after 4 pm check in and 10 am check out for £500, room was the best bit clean and exciting for children. Hotel food was cold, breakfast was the same too everything left too long on buffet. Never helped with my disability and gave wrong advice about disability on booking over the phone. If you only have a one day pass for the park (Legoland) then there isn't enough for the little ones to do. Pool unfortunately was out of use due to a hygiene problem ( child was sick in it ) and the childrens play area doesn't open until 3 pm. Madness. Staff not knowledgeable enough on disability and park. There is so much more the resort could do for none stop fun for the children. The price of the rooms far to expensive , check in needs to be about 1 pm/2pm and check out needs to be at least 11 am. It's such a mad rush with little ones. Advice would be to take a packed lunch and lots of children's snacks and plenty of things for them to do if you are there more than one night with only a one day pass.

The outside of the hotel looks amazing with the lego theme. The reception erea is also nice. Restaurant food is a bit so so nothing special. Our room was in the pirate section and again nothing amazing to be honest. Although clean it just looked a bit tired and maybe in need of an update. Food and drinks are pricey. Overall glad I visited the park and hotel for first time but probably won't ever return. Too expensive, staff on the park a bit miserable and waiting times on rides can be long. Little kids will love it but adults not so much.

The Windsor Central Hotel is a budget-friendly accommodation option perfect for families visiting Legoland Windsor. With free WiFi and simple fare available on site, it's the perfect place to relax after a day of fun in the theme park. The hotel also offers a bar and cafe serving hearty meals throughout the day.
We had an overnight stay and I can honesty say we got what we paid for rooms and breakfast were both as stated, clean and fresh. What was unexpected was the helpful and patient reception staff as I struggled with the parking app. ANTHONY was really great . I would confidently return .

Really good location next to train station and shops and a castle. Decent breakfast as well but the orange juice was quite strong in my opinion, even with water added. Would be nice to have air-conditioning on the top floor as even with the portable fans and window open, it was quite warm. However it was quite good that you can access the hotel straight from the car park via lift or stairs.

our stay here was really nice and the room was spacious and it's great you can open the windows here! everything was great, especially the breakfast! the only slight thing we didn't like was the bar/cafe/restaurant area, as the seats weren't comfy and seemed more like a canteen than a bar or restaurant. apart from that our stay was really nice!
Princegentlemanswaggy — Google review
The hotel was extremely difficult to find using Google maps. When you arrive at the reception desk to check in, the reception staff talk about how you can take advantage of discount parking, but this needs to be organised in advanced - not after you have already parked your car. Better communication in the booking confirmation email could help to elevate this. The reception staff seemed disinterested when I suggested this to them. When you park in the Q Park garage, most of the car spots are extremely narrow which is a challenge for regular sized cars. There are some larger spots, but you need to seek them out.

Very helpful and friendly staff especially Megan. Great taxi service is available. Fantastic location although very noisy on a Saturday night need better windows to keep out noise. Plenty of towels and toilet rolls which is not usually the case Mirror and plug socket and chair all in one place again not usually the case Best breakfast I've ever had at a travelodge Only downside was that the room was a bit grubby

Good location but that's where it ends . Impossible to find the car park on google maps . Turns out you need to search for a different post code to be able to find the car park and when you do get into the car park the spaces are extremely narrow . The parking situation was explained to us by a so called "supervisor" who could not have been more disinterested if she had tried . Room was basic , slight grubby and bed extremely hard . Only positive was the location and the friendly receptionist from Australia.

I would avoid in hot weather. No aircon in a heatwave makes the rooms unbearabliy hot! We had our temperature egg (as we have young children) on and the room was 30 degrees with 2 fans going all night and the windows open. Left as soon as we could in the morning as we couldn't take it anymore! Room was also quite tired and bath stained. They staff were lovely however and it's in a great location, so, just don't go in a heatwave!

The Eton Mess is a cozy bar and restaurant located in the historic Berkshire town of Eton, just across the River Thames from Windsor. It's known for its craft beers, cocktails, and modern British small plates. The establishment also offers homely rooms for travelers. The menu features British cuisine with dishes like smoked salmon scotch eggs and new season lamb. The staff is highly praised for their wonderful service and accommodation of large groups.
I love this small hotel. Our room was huge. We chose the one with the outdoor patio. It had two windows looking out over a patio. The bathroom was large enough for 2 people and had a beautiful glass roof that allowed for lots of light. I love the decor theme of the dark paint, the coffee bar in the room and the closet was a bit small but sufficient for staying a short time. The bar/restaurant was designed very nicely with dark colors and the couch near the door in front of the fireplace was a fabulous idea. We went twice in a row. The prices are reasonable, and the food was good. We had fish and chips and split it among 2 people. The general manager was there all day and into the night working hard. He was attentive to us and other guests and even filled in as a waiter and bartender when the bar was busy. I love this place and do recommend it for anyone staying in the area. Our room was extremely quiet, and the location was perfect, out of the hustle and bustle of Windsor.

Worst experience ever. From the moment we arrived it was terrible. The table was sticky. The menu that I received the day prior when confirming our booking wasn’t available. Very few food options and 3 things of the very limited menu wasn’t available. The first salad came and the last person got their food (a cheese platter so no cooking needed) 20 mins after the first person got theirs meaning most people were already finished when she got her food. We ordered truffle fries which never arrived either. The worst part however was when I complained to the manager he raised his voice at me and said no, I was wrong about the menu. That is only during the week (attached see photo of what I received) he was so rude and I was honestly shocked that a manager can act in such a terrible way to a paying customer. I told him that I already complained numerous times to the waiter and he didn’t even walk over and asked if everything was alright. He then said well nobody told him there was a problem (again that’s your team that is not good) when the waiter said no she did tell him there was a complaint. All in all an absolute terrible experience and very disappointed in the manager.

Brilliant stay and meal. Booked the room first, intrigued by the cocktail boutique. Decided we'd eat there too. Food was excellent, my wife had the cauliflower steak which I sampled. Possibly the best veggie meal I've tasted. Cocktails were excellent, highly recommend the Eton Mess cocktail if you like a sweet cocktail. Room was clean and tidy with all the facilities we needed.

Absolutely love this place!!!! Definitely the best bar and/or restaurant I've been to in Eton and Windsor! I have been here so many times now with so many people. The staff are always wonderful, it is honestly up there with the best service you could probably get anywhere. They are always so accommodating. I have even turned up there with a party of 17 people and they have managed to accommodate us at short notice! The cocktails are delicious and so is the food. I would recommend the "Eton mess" cocktail, it is both delicious and beautiful. The bar itself is also so beautiful and chilled. I would recommend it as a place for a date as it is quite romantic. The staff are so friendly and so happy all the time, and the owner is also there often and is also so welcoming! Says a lot about a place! I go there often and will continue to go there every time I'm in Windsor and Eton and now all my friends and family make a point of going there too :)

Really good service and the cocktails were incredible. My partner had a Churchill and said it's the best whisky sour he's ever had. Great entertainment watching the staff creating the cocktails and the place had such a good atmosphere. Will definitely come back!

Excellent service. The meal wasn't the best Sunday roast we've had, but I think the chef just had a bad day. The friends we were with confirmed that it is normally much better. Our comments to the waitress about this were dealt with exceptionally well. For a pub, they have a great selection of wine, a great selection of gin & cocktails I would go here again.

My partner and I have recently stayed here and after reading the comments and hotels values we were really excited only to be left disappointed. The room it’s self was lovely, very spacious and exactly what we were expecting. We did have to ask for missed items from housekeeping, and we aren’t convinced the room was cleaned during our stay. The staff also let the place down with there lack of training and hospitality. We will not return until the staff are more welcoming.

We chose here as the location great....only 5mins walk to Castle & on a fab street with restaurants/ pubs. On arrival given a welcome drink which was a lovely touch. Room was a good size but we were on the front & noisy from the street. We had a few little issues with our room but Manager John & his staff sorted it ASAP ...all staff very accommodating / lovely. Thank you.

Nestled conveniently close to the heart of Windsor, the Holiday Inn Express Windsor offers a blend of comfort and practicality for travelers seeking an affordable stay. Guests can enjoy modern rooms equipped with cozy beds and clean amenities, ensuring a restful experience. The hotel features complimentary breakfast options that cater to various tastes, although some have noted that plate sizes could be improved. The friendly staff, including standout team members like Grace and Daniel, are always ready to assist with a smile.
I've always been happy with Holiday Inn in America and the UK. Reliable, clean, comfortable, and friendly...this location is no different. PROS: -Reasonable price of $160 for 1 Friday night, especially for this area. -Clean, modern, and decently sized rooms. -Comfortable twin beds with great flat pillows. -AIR CONDITIONING!!! -Large LCD TV -Large clean bathroom -Tea Maker -Reasonably priced parking at £15/night...but there was some free street parking outside. -Friendly staff -Nice lobby area -Walking distance to the main shopping street, especially were the locals actually spend time at(the area close to the castle is very touristy!). CONS: -Easy 15min walk to Windsor Castle if you're in good shape...but if you're in bad shape it's a 20-25min long uphill walk. -I wish parking was free! Highly recommend staying here, very convenient if you had a long tiring 10+ hour to Heathrow and need a nearby place to stay and plan on visiting Windsor Castle.

This was our first stop in our mini tour of south England, and it remains my favourite hotel in our itinerary. As it is an Express, it has limited services and facilities compared to a full sized Holiday Inn. However, knowing that they have a limited dinner menu was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly which added to an already pleasant stay. The hotel is located in a more quiet area of Windsor, next to residences and right next to a police station. The shops and Windsor Castle are all within walking distance. The rooms were spotless, and had everything you'll need to make a comfortable stay. There was some minor renovation going on but it had zero impact. It was just nice to know that they're working on improving on what will be incredible stays.

It’s a must come back hotel! I enjoyed my stay here that I had to extend for one more night. The Supervisor- Georgia was awesome!!! Sumon and Daniel were very professional and helpful!!! The breakfast team were full of hospitality and the breakfast was good 👌. The entire team that I came in contact with were warm and friendly. My room was lovely, quite a big space for a standard room. The hotel is CLEAN and FRESH!!!! It’s accessible for wheel chair. I like the guest toilet, nice design and very clean!!! Kudos to the cleaners. With their very warm reception they won me over that I had to sign up for their IHG loyalty scheme. Give them a try and you’ll be glad you did. Thank you for having me

The only place I will stay in Windsor. Great value and the team there are always super friendly and provide excellent service. Special shoutout to the gentleman wearing all black who I bumped into several times today and was cheerful and friendly and rushed to help me when I couldn’t figure out how to work the shower and was in a hurry to leave for the airport. Short walk to the castle and shops, restaurants etc. Rooms are functional, clean and bright, remodeled reception and bar area looks great. Parking can be tricky on site, but there is an open air car park behind the building only a minute walk away. Also have the comfort of a police station next door so never have to worry about safety!

Stayed here for work. Everything is great. Staff, location, parking, breakfast. Beds are comfy, rooms are nice. 1 star lost on room. This is solely down to shower water pressure. A lovely big walk in shower. Rainfall head and removable head. I step in expecting, hoping for a nice hot monsoon. But alas, all I get is slightly more than a dribble. I read hotels use flow restriction shower heads to save water. This is false economy as I spent way longer in the shower than I otherwise would have if the pressure had been at least decent. This is a common theme with hotels I have found and it is disappointing enough to remove 1 star.

I’ve been staying at Holiday Inn Express Windsor regularly and it’s always been a great experience. What truly sets this hotel apart is the people, especially Hali. She’s one of the kindest and most genuine staff members I’ve ever come across in any hotel. During a stay last year I was on crutches and Hali went out of her way to make sure I was looked after. When I returned a year later she remembered me and even asked how my leg was doing. That level of care is rare and meant a lot. Sad to hear she’s moving on but I’m sure she’ll be amazing wherever she goes. Thank you Hali for always making this place feel like home.

Just wanted to give a massive shout out to Liz who showed us great hospitality throughout our stay last few days and her kindness a real credit to Holiday Inn. The customer service at this hotel is the best I've ever received. I called up 2 days prior to ensure I had a walk-in shower and double bed for my accessibility needs. The advisor I spoke to on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. Arriving at the hotel, I had a very stressful time trying to park (I couldn't open the doors or get out of the car due to the tiny spaces in the basement parking). I did speak with the desk and they sorted the disabled bay for me, even though I forgot my blue badge. Check-in and Restaurant service was fantastic, Georgi explained everything really well, was patient and accomodating. Very friendly and helpful, thank you!

Nestled in the heart of Windsor, the Clarion Collection Harte and Garter Hotel and Spa is a stunning blend of history and modern luxury. Housed in two charming 14th-century inns, this hotel offers guests breathtaking views of Windsor Castle right from their plush accommodations. The elegant rooms feature high ceilings that echo the building's Victorian heritage, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation after a day of exploring.
The location is perfect (just across from Windsor castle). The hotel room was clean, we had refreshments consisting of tea and milk/sugar. A small fridge in the room, a fan, iron etc. The shower was nice and hot and the room was always an appropriate temp. The carpet and sheets/towels were very clean. Staff were lovely and they kindly took in some of our baggage as we arrived before check in time. However if you are like me and have worked in hotels before and if you're someone who expects spic and span for £120/night I need to share that there were streaks on the mirrors, some dust, a massive burn/stain on one curtain. I didn't mind any of these for the price and location but where I worked previously we had lots of complains about small things like this. It's not a problem of hygiene just presentation so please consider this before booking. Other than that, very happy.

Although in a prime location opposite the castle, this hotel was extremely disappointing considering the price. Very bland, tiny room & dirty towels and to make it worse we were situated opposite the staff entrance of the ivy restaurant…..noisy all night and into the early hours meant no sleep. Upon checkout we were asked how was our stay by the young female receptionist, when we told her about our lack of sleep her only response was “oh” On that basis I would definitely not recommend this hotel!
Simon M — Google review
I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I will start off with wording straight from their own website. “A combination of modern fabrics and Victorian furniture creates an elegant and relaxing atmosphere in the large guest rooms, each of which comes well-equipped with a satellite TV,…” As they do have “modern” fabrics, they are filthy and dinghy. When they mention Victorian furniture, they are not kidding. The bed felt like one from that same era, so I guess that is them giving you a real experience. It was so hard and uncomfortable. While the rooms are large, nothing about the filthy appearance makes it elegant nor relaxing. Despite being on the first floor, the Internet connection was weak. The TV was unwatchable because it was so choppy from the weak signal. I was able to get a room facing the front and it was amazing. Looking right at Windsor castle! The entrance to the castle is right in front of the hotel, so there is a lot of people walking around all day and traffic on the street is busy all day long. If you are to stay in Windsor, stay somewhere else. The Christopher Wren looked nice when I walked by.

*AVOID!* We booked here using a buyagift voucher I received as a present, choosing this hotel thinking it had a spa as well as air conditioning as advertised. Not only does it not have aircon or a spa but on one day there was no hot water either! Upon checkout, when asked how our stay was, we informed them of this. Their response was that the boiler wasn't working yesterday which would have been nice to know! A cold shower isn't really what I'd envisioned for a relaxing weekend away. I am gobsmacked as to how this hotel is charging £180 a night for a standard room. Sure, the beds are comfy enough, there's decent storage space, a couple of refreshments and a TV but it doesn't undo the following: - Dust everywhere in the corridors - Our sink was chipped which made it look grimy - We informed them about the aircon unit not working within an hour of us arriving. They said they'd send someone to look at it. We were there for 2 days and no one actually came to look at it. As a result, my husband was having to take multiple cold baths a day and soak himself with a wet flannel to avoid overheating. You couldn't open the windows which we thick, keeping in heat but certainly not keeping out noise. - We asked about the spa which they said hasn't been open for 4 years. They asked if we'd booked 3rd party which I confirmed and they said that will be why I thought that then but they are literally still called "Harte & Garter Hotel & Spa"!!! as well as having "Spa room" listed under their facilities. - There is a busker that likes to sing directly outside the high street side of the hotel. Not only is he loud but he is not very good. This is not really the hotel's fault but something to be aware of. Overall we were disappointed and aside from watching a lot of mindless TV as we often do on trips away, we ended up trying to schedule as much outside the hotel as possible. We will not be returning and I'm so glad we only ended up paying £56 ourselves (meaning the residual £304 must have been covered by our voucher) but even that feels too much. Windsor is pleasant and if you want castle views, you would like this granted you can deal with the noise and vaguely dilapidated feel of the hotel. We will be complaining to buyagift too and recommending this place is removed from their list. I've given it 2 stars for the convenience of location and the fact that it was a place to stay which we could sleep (albeit poorly) in. Don't trust their website reviews either. Their website is the only place they claim to be rated 4.9* or anywhere near that. Trust sites that aren't biased.

We had a great stay. The location and views are perfect. Our original room wasn’t big enough as I was travelling with 2 children and the team member on reception kindly moved us to a bigger room with the same view at no extra charge (and it was already very good value.) We’ll definitely stay again if we visit Windsor.

This hotel’s location is unbeatable! Right beside Windsor Castle, with shops, and restaurants nearby. Though historic, it’s spotlessly clean. My room in 2nd floor was spacious, with AC, heating, and plenty of hot water. The staffs were all so friendly, especially Ash on the second floor, who recommended great local dining spots!

Lovely hotel, very well priced. The location could not be better - right opposite Windsor castle. Room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing 🤩 We will definitely come back!

Do not stay here. Wifi rarely works. Old and dinghy rooms. Broken AC Shower doesn’t drain and water runs to floor. Great location but it’s a bog hole.

Goswell House Hotel sits opposite Windsor Castle and is within easy walking distance of the Royal Windsor Racecourse. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation, good value for money and helpful staff who are happy to help with organising day trips and attractions.
We had a lovely stay at the Goswell House and truly wished we could have stayed longer. The location is ideal—right in the heart of Windsor and just a short walk to Windsor Castle, shops, and restaurants. Charlotte was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Our room was spacious, beautifully updated, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Stay Near Windsor Castle We loved our stay at Roswell House! The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and well-kept. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to Windsor Castle and right around the corner from plenty of shops and great restaurants. Perfect spot for exploring Windsor on foot. Highly recommend!

Stayed 1 night but should have stayed longer! Fantastic location - right above the main shopping street - no noise, and literally a minute or two from the castle and main tourist areas. Well maintained property. A lovely large, and clean room - good quality items, plus decoration very nice and tasteful. Everything you'd wish for was here - inc, tea/coffee plus separate coffee machine. Comfy bed Check in was smooth - virtual type of arrangement. No receptionist area - just press the Ring doorbell camera and the duty housekeeper will meet you inside the building and complete check-in. Very friendly and helpful housekeepers - couldn't do any more really. Whole stay stress-free, without any fuss. Will definitely stay here when next in the area.

We stayed for two nights at Goswell House, and were very pleased with our stay. We found this hotel to be very well maintained, with attention to detail in both the room as well as the common areas. Upon arrival, the door was very promptly answered, and we were able to settle in right away. An email to the hotel was promptly answered. Our family room was spacious and comfortable, and we all slept very well. We did not experience any noise issues whatsoever. (We did not partake in the breakfast, so we cannot comment on that.) The location could not be any more convenient. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here with my husband and apon arrival we were given just one key and told repeatedly that there is no reception after 5.30. Sadly we accidentally left our key in the hotel room and realised when we returned after a night out that we were locked out of our hotel. The emergency number we were given on the sign to call did not work - after trying at least 7 times we gave up and had to go and find last minute late night accommodation which was daunting and dangerous. We have been refunded but not given or offered any credit for a situation that could easily have been avoided.

This place was AMAZING!!! Location, location, LOCATION! There are stairs, so you'll need to carry your luggage up. It was peaceful, tidy, and had air conditioning, which was necessary for our summer trip. Numerous pubs and restaurants are just a short walk away. Windsor Castle and the train station are only a 2-minute stroll. The room rates were quite reasonable compared to other hotels in the vicinity. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Stayed here recently with my child. The rooms are lovely and the noise problems seem to have been mitigated by the addition of double pane glass plus the do provide ear plugs but we did not need them. My only room complaints were no small fridge provided. (Would have been lovely to keep some drinks cold in our room) and we had an issue with the AC in our original room but we were moved to another room (on the very top floor) which had great AC so we were satisfied. Be aware there is no elevator. I did know this going in so it wasn’t an issue for me but others should be aware if this will be a problem for them. Getting luggage up and down can be difficult. On my way down, a worker saw my struggle and graciously took my bags down but this can’t be expected as it was simply a matter of good timing for me. The location cannot be beaten. You are mere steps from everything. The castle, Windsor central, shopping, great restaurants….all of it. Overall, very pleased with this hotel and will absolutely stay again on future visits.

Windsor Castle, located in the royal borough of Windsor, is the oldest and largest inhabited castle globally. It has served as the family home for British monarchs for nearly a millennium and is currently an official residence of Her Majesty The Queen. The castle features spectacular art, antiques, and a chapel within its grounds.
Windsor Town and castle a must on your travel list. We visited two days after Donald Trump had been here. The flags were flying all through town. We visited the castle on a Saturday afternoon and not busy in September. Amazing the history, the grandeur of royalty and the way they live today. The grounds and long walk in tbe Windsor Gardens amazing. The Autumn colours exquisite. A lifetime experience. We missed the Queens doll house as it was a two hour queue. We had audio all the way on our tour which give us every detail of the castle rooms. Buy your tickets online or at the gate. Very helpful staff. Worth the money.

A Breathtaking Journey Through History My visit to Windsor Castle was an absolutely unforgettable experience. It is not just a castle; it is a living monument to British history and royalty, and it truly deserves its reputation. The castle itself is magnificently grand and imposing, set against beautifully manicured lawns and pristine gardens. The contrast between the sturdy, historic stone walls and the flawless green landscaping is strikingly beautiful. Inside, the arrangement of the State Apartments is both logical and fascinating. Each room flows into the next, revealing its unique function, from grand halls for ceremonies to more intimate living quarters. They are beautifully preserved and offer a genuine sense of how the palace operated. Furthermore, the furnishings are not merely decorative; they are functional pieces of art. The vast and diverse collections are utterly precious. I was particularly captivated by the extensive array of portraits of royal members. These paintings, varying in size, are so vividly lifelike that they seem to breathe, telling the story of the monarchy across the centuries. The entire visit was an eye-opening and dazzling spectacle. It leaves one in deep awe of the British Royal Family's centuries of influence, global history, and their immense accumulation of cultural and artistic treasures. It was, without a doubt, a trip that was worth taking in every sense.

First time visiting and was blown away at the history and beauty of the Castle, the church and grounds. The town is charming as well. This is a must see, easy trip via overland train from London. Get the audio tour headsets as it’s included and will make the experience worthwhile.

I went las Saturday to see the change of guards, it is amazing!!! It it important to wait for them (10:50 am approx) if you arrive early, otherwise you won’t have time or the best location to see them. The exhibition is quite amazing, and unbelievable!

Its an english castle. Well kept. I Its slightly less for value of money. Would advice to buy tickets in advance as that will save money. If you are visiting multiple castles throughout UK, kindly buy a pass for them as that will be cheaper rather than buying tickets at every castle. No pictures allowed inside.

Over the past 40 years that I have been coming to London, I somehow avoided Windsor Castle for no reason except that there were other things to do but on this trip I am glad to say that I finally visited it and I was not disappointed. I especially was fond of the chapel. I’m not religious whatsoever, but the burial chamber of the Queen was worth seeing. The crest room as seen in one of these photos fascinated me. The tour guides and Museum staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

The Windsor Castle and Town are a must to visit! An authentic place with it's atmosphere and history. While visiting the castle you get the audio guide and it is really easy to walk, listen and admire. We spent here about 4h to visit each and every chamber and exhibition. Great experience!

Having traveled all the way from India, and after visiting the incredible Warwick Castle, I have to be honest: Windsor Castle, while historically important, didn't quite deliver the overall tourist experience I was hoping for. The Good (The Royal Legacy) The castle is undeniably an icon of British royalty and history. It’s a privilege to walk through a working royal palace, and the sheer scale of the place, from the State Apartments to the beautiful St. George’s Chapel (the final resting place of Queen Elizabeth II), is impressive. If you are deeply invested in the British Royal Family, the sense of gravitas and history is palpable. The audio guide is excellent and helps paint a picture of the centuries of monarchy. The Letdown (The Visitor Experience) This is where it lost two stars for me. Compared to the kind of packed, energetic experience we often see in top historical attractions (think of the crowds and chaos at a major Indian monument, but in a good way!), Windsor felt a little too stiff and hands-off. No Photos Allowed Inside: This was a huge disappointment. In a digital world where every moment is a memory captured, the strict ban on photography inside the State Apartments means you walk through grand, gorgeous rooms and leave with only the memory, not the image. At Warwick Castle, I could take pictures of the fascinating exhibits, which made it feel much more engaging. Less "Attraction" and More "Museum": Warwick Castle is owned by a theme park company (Merlin) and it shows—they packed it with live historical shows, interactive elements, wax figures, and birds of prey displays. Windsor, by contrast, is a royal home and a museum for priceless art. If you want a fun day with lots of shows and activities, skip Windsor and go to Warwick. Verdict for an Indian Visitor If your main goal is to tick off the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and see the pomp of the British monarchy, then come here. However, if you are looking for a more interactive, family-friendly, and all-around tourist-attraction-style historical experience—where your ticket price buys you more spectacle and the freedom to take photos—you will find Warwick Castle a far more fulfilling day out.

The George Inn is a charming 18th-century pub offering comfortable rooms with a blend of modern and historical elements. Situated in the historically renowned town of Eton, it provides picturesque views of the castle and the River Thames. The inn's historic dining room serves delightful full English breakfasts, while its bar offers an ever-changing selection of cask ales for beer enthusiasts. Additionally, guests can savor fresh and seasonal dishes at the flagship pub of the local Windsor & Eton Brewery.
I would like to recommend the pub. Me and my family had Sunday roast there today and it was absolutely delicious! The best we ever had! I had the pleasure of meeting Tom the chef and tell him how amazing our courses were. I had the beef and my husband had the pork. We enjoyed every bite. Also, the service was great! The staff had a smile on their face when they spoke to us and often checked if we were ok and had everything we needed. The service was quick as well. When you go to Eton, go there!

I had a function there with my choir, a private buffet dinner in the Hop House, the garden room adjoining the beer garden. We had a lovely evening and were well fed and diligently looked after by the energetic young team on what was a busy evening in the pub. A couple of us stayed in rooms at the inn and they were very comfortable. Although the George does not do breakfast there is a Costa opposite and a breakfast cafe just along the road, and a public car park round the back. The location right by the bridge is perfect for Windsor, Eton and the Thames. We had a super time.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the George Inn. It’s good value for money for a solo traveler in picturesque Windsor in their single rooms. The Eton location is amazing, near the Thames - and I could see Windsor Castle if I stood at the window of my room. Rooms don’t have air conditioning, which can be an issue for some in summer. But there is a fan and it usually cools off enough at night in late August. Also, the stairs can be an issue if you have mobility trouble. Staff are lovely and helped with bags at check-in and check-out. I didn’t get a chance to eat or drink at the pub during my stay unfortunately, but it looks lovely inside. They also have a spacious beer garden which is idyllic for relaxing and socializing. Staff there are friendly and welcoming, and the manager Kim is especially fantastic!

Having nursed my mobility scooter all the way from Park street in Windsor after the battery drained, we stopped at The George in Eton to have a soft drink each and assess the situation. This pub is lovely, and the staff even more so! They let me charge the battery enough to get me back to the car. So so grateful for your generosity 🙏😊

Popped into the George Inn for a quick drink with some friends who were visiting from Liverpool. Turned out to be such a nice pub with a fantastic selection of drinks, and such an amazing smell coming from the kitchen that we decided to stay for dinner. We were not disappointed! The steak was absolutely perfect, cooked to perfection, tender, and juicy and all round delicious. Perfect chips along with it too. Delicious craft beers from the Windsor and Eton brewery. Friendly staff made the whole visit just brilliant. I wasn’t sure which beer to go for so the woman behind the bar offered me samples which you don’t get everywhere these days. Would highly recommend this pub for either a quick drink or to make an afternoon or evening of it with a few drinks and dinner

Stopped here for a roast before heading home after a lovely weekend in Windsor. We were welcomed by a lovely lady behind the bar who let me try a few ales before picking one she recommended. We then had a lovely roast. The vegan option for my partner was greatly received. Hats off to Tom the head chef! Amazing service, location and food!

Old fashioned place with a nice feel to it. Staff were friendly and polite. Great view of Windsor castle from the window. Usual tap beers and a few real ales available. Card payment only. Beer was good. Enjoyed my visit.
Paul P — Google review
The pub is nice enough, but probably because of the location - close to the castle - they're not counting on repeat business for food. Several items on the menu were unavailable, much of the food had come out of the freezer. I had burger, possibly the worst I've had for a long time

Located at the Legoland Windsor theme park in Berkshire, the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel offers castle-inspired rooms with free LEGOLAND park tickets and activities for kids. It's a great place to stay for families visiting the theme park or for anyone looking for some fun and relaxation.
This was a fantastic say. We stayed in the premium wizards room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room itself was spacious and had lots of things to keep children entertained. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and offered a great night's sleep. The tournament tavern was great for dinner and breakfast and the staff were very friendly there too, specifically Jane (dinner service) and Chloe (breakfast service). It was a great stay overall and I would highly recommend going there. We will definitely be going back.

We were afraid of the queues, but despite very nice weather, there were almost none, so during the two days, we enjoyed all the rides we wanted and even more. The longest waiting wasn't on the thrilling ones, but the kiddie ones. The hotel (Castle) was OK with a pleasant surprise, a bit dusty perhaps, but I'm allergic so I am extra sensitive to that. If you can, avoid the restaurant though, neither food quality nor service (especially tempo of one of the waiters) was good enough to match the price (and I am comparing it to central London prices). Otherwise, everything was amazing and staff was extra helpful.
Aleš F — Google review
This was our 4th time staying at the castle and unfortunately felt the whole experience wasn’t quite as good this time around . Service at the tavern was extremely slow , we were forgotten about 3 times while waiting 30 minutes and asking 3 times for water for our table as that’s all our son likes . And to top it off we informed the staff before arriving that it was our daughter’s birthday they forgot to sing her happy birthday as they normally do and did for two other children in attendance. She was devastated
Lee C — Google review
The hotel is without a doubt one of the best we have ever visited in terms of facilities. The rooms were incredible, Lego for the kids to play with, a PS4 with lego games installed, lovely comfortable beds, wild decor perfectly Lego themed, silly quirky interactions in the lifts, all together just what you'd expect... great fun for everyone! The only thing that let it down was the poor experience we had in the hotel restaurant. They couldn't get the basics right at dinner or breakfast. We waited for our (incredibly over priced) drinks to come after our food arrived at both breakfast and dinner (also incredibly expensive), there was no salt and pepper on the tables, no spoons with the breakfast cutlery, not enough tea in the pot to serve for one cup each, we had to ask for milk, sugar, teaspoons and to top it off we were left waiting for the bill. It really left a bad taste in our mouths. That being said the food was absolutely amazing, very tasty and perfectly presented.
Marc D — Google review
We had initially thought that the price for one night at the hotel was quite a lot but after staying we think it is worth it. The hotel is well-thought out and designed for kids. The good stuff ✅️ First, whe we arrived (prior to check in time) we could just leave our bags at thr entrance of the legoland resort hotel....which is right next to the car park and head straight to the legoland park....our bags were taken to our room for us. ✅️ Throughout the hotels and the park there is something interesting to see...wonderful lego creations that and lego lover would delight in ✅️ The park is just a short walk from the hotel...the first rides, the deep sea adventure and haunted house, are literally 1-2 min walk from the hotel a definite plus when visiting with kids ✅️ the family rooms are well though out with a kids sleeping section (with bunk beds) and parents sleeping section with their own tvs and kids section had a lego play area and free bricks to play with. The whole room is themed as a castle and don't forget to do the puzzle as there is a lovely surprise at the end of it (we forgot to do it, but the lovely housekeeping lady let us do it before she cleaned our room as we were leaving)! Even the bathroom has bee designed with kids in mind, the sink is low and the toilet has an extra seat for little bottoms. The not so good ❌️ We tried to book a slot for the pool a few days ahead, and it was already fully booked. This was one of the key reasons we wanted to stay in one of the park hotel as opposed to another hotel nearby which were half the price! This might have been because it was during the school holidays (but let's face it, if you're with school age kids, it will usually be ve in the school holidays!), so that was quite disappointing. But apparently they can be booked up to 30 days in advance so worth getting in there quick. I can't review the pool as we never saw it or went...but do not it is thw resort hotel which is a short outside (~1min) walk from the castle hotel. ❌️ although your stay includes early entry to the park (at 9.30am and the park opens to all at 10am) only 2 rides were open at the time! Coastgaurd HQ and balloon school...so not the most exciting rides, so take not as we felt that was mis sold. We did not try thr food in the hotels. so can't comment on that. It was easy to drive into Windsor to eat there for the night. In summary a two day pass with a night to relax in the hotel is worth the experience for almost ~£600 was worth the experience.
Ekleba O — Google review
We stayed in Room 601, and while the room itself was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view, its location completely ruined our night. It’s positioned right next to the first-floor entrance/stairwell door, and that door slams loudly every time someone goes in or out. Throughout the evening and late into the night, we heard constant banging noises from guests returning to their rooms. It was disruptive for us, but even worse for our toddler — who was startled awake several times. We ended up using a white noise machine to try to drown it out, which helped a bit, but not enough. By morning, the noise picked up again as people started leaving early, so we were up way earlier than planned. If you’re traveling with a young child (or just value sleep), I strongly recommend asking for a room away from entrance doors, stairwells, or lifts. The hotel should really consider installing soft-close mechanisms on these doors or soundproofing the affected rooms. This was honestly the worst part of our stay and a good reminder to always check room location when booking or during check-in, especially when traveling with little ones
Eric S — Google review
We ate dinner at the castle restaurant for my husband's birthday. Everything was wonderful, only niggle was the team had offered to sing happy birthday, but then this didn't happen so my son was very sad.
Nicola J — Google review
The room theming is great, the location is obviously good, and the park is good fun for primary school age kids. The food lets it down though. Breakfast took the best part of an hour - they were clearly understaffed, and food was missing when it arrived. Pretty poor given half the point of staying here is being ready for 9:25 to get the early ride times, which we had to sprint to do with an 8am breakfast time. Many people were still queuing for breakfast as the park opened. Dinner was ridiculously priced for what it was - obviously you expect a markup, but £120 for a poor quality meal for a family of 4 drinking water is just silly. They have clearly put a lot of money into making the room quality matches the price paid - they need to do the same for staffing levels and food.

We stayed here when we needed last minute accommodations in the area and had a really lovely stay. We were upgraded to the garden lodge free of charge and it was well stocked and perfect for a couple for a short or longer stay as it had a washing machine and kitchen. The breakfast was fresh and had plenty of variety and our host was so accommodating. Amazing value and we wished we could have stayed longer! Will definitely come back if we’re in the area again and highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit Windsor or the surrounding area.

Would highly recommend park farm if staying in Windsor. 20 min walk to castle or town or 5 min in car.

Had a lovely evening yesterday 17/11/24 after visiting relatives in the area. Caroline was the perfect host and offered a lovely upgrade to a king size room. The room was beautifully decorated and the mattress was so so comfortable. I’m not a great sleeper but my alarm was the only thing to wake me, so a big bonus for me! Lots of choice for breakfast. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Had a lovely chat with Caroline and met the beautiful chocolate lab (sorry forgot his name) We would recommend staying here to anyone and we’ll definitely return when we next have to stay over. Thanks again.

Tucked along a row of charming Victorian homes sits this absolute gem — and I audibly gasped (the good kind) walking into the foyer. Think beautiful diffusers, tasteful decor, and a landing that sets the tone for the entire stay. My room: The Deluxe Double Right off the first staircase (bless — because yes, I overpacked, but lighter than usual if you know, you know 😂). The room is light, airy, and honestly stunning. Gorgeous wallpaper, a super comfy bed (better than mine at home), and a modern, spacious bathroom = perfection. The residence itself feels like a luxe homestay: • Kitchenette (toaster, not full cooking) • Dining + lounge area • Cosy library with board games • Gorgeous outdoor terrace (mental note: return in summer) The entire space is filled with beautiful textures, bespoke art and thoughtful touches that seriously delight the senses. Verdict: OBSESSED. I’m chasing Accor platinum this year, but I wasn’t about to drop $1200+ for a nearby chain. I’m so glad I found The Windsorian — it’s walking distance to the train station, Windsor Castle, Peascod St and a ton of great eats. As an ex-local who’s stayed in a lot of Windsor spots (including a Harry Potter-style cupboard once), this now has my heart. 10/10 — would never stay anywhere else in Windsor again.

We spent one night at the Windsorian Experience over the weekend and absolutely loved it. The place has been recently refurbished to a very high standard – everything feels fresh, modern, and clearly designer-planned. The amenities were excellent, and the attention to detail was impressive. From the luxurious scent of expensive perfume throughout the space to the beautifully curated interiors, it’s clear a lot of care has gone into the experience. Communication with Marius was smooth and helpful from start to finish. The location is fantastic – just a short walk from Windsor Castle and other central attractions. The common areas were spacious, stylish, and perfect for relaxing.

Paul K — Google review
The place looks just like the pictures. We stayed in the Deluxe Garden Studio for 1 night. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The area is quiet at night. The location is great, and it takes 10 minutes to walk to the castle. There are plenty of restaurants and places to shop nearby. Marius was responsive and provided clear instructions to access the room. The outside area was clean and pleasing to the eyes. The kitchen was clean and free of clutter. We would definitely stay here again.

Holiday apartment rental
Charles House SA Guest House is an adults-only option located just a five-minute walk from Windsor town. The guest house offers classic rooms with amenities such as free WiFi, satellite TV, and iPod docks. The rooms are well-equipped with en-suite facilities, hair dryer, iron, kettle, fridge, and a table with chairs for dining. Although breakfast is not provided, the guest house offers bowls, plates, and cutlery for convenience.
I had a great stay at this guest suite in Windsor! The room was really spacious and had a nice little courtyard, which was a lovely bonus. The entry system was super easy to use – they sent digital codes before check-in, so getting in was hassle-free. The location was perfect—just a 3-minute walk to the river and about 5-6 minutes into town and Windsor Castle. It was warm, cosy, and had some great free amenities, plus I really appreciated the fridge and ice box. The train station is only a 4-5 minute walk away too, which made getting back into London really easy. Overall, a really comfy and convenient place to stay—I'd definitely book again if I come back to Windsor!

I stayed here recently for 2 nights, in the William suite. It was a nice room, was clean, and the small stocking of coffee and hot chocolate was a nice touch. My only complaint with the room was that the tissue roll holder in the restroom came off the wall every time I used it (without causing damage), to the point where I just left it off the wall for most of my stay. I recommend securing it more soundly. Otherwise, there were no issues at all, great place with a great location to major interests.

Good value for money and great location in this tourist town. Bed was super large and comfy, tea coffee etc provided plus a fridge...which was very unusual but greatly appreciated. Code access required but it worked smoothly. Car parking was expensive but very close by and plentiful. Would definitely recommend for Australian travellers with an eye for value. Many thanks Julz

We were in the UK for 2 weeks and stayed at a number of lovely places. This was not one of them. Pictures are deceiving. I think they were taken 20 years ago. The listing says there is parking. What it doesn't say is it costs £20 and is up the road and across the street. Not at all convenient if you have a lot of luggage, as we did. The rooms are very dated and the beds were small. The carpet looks old and worn and I suspect not terribly clean. The location, while central, is not somewhere I'd feel comfortable walking at night. The road noise is horrendous. As is the slamming of the front door. When I tried to call about the parking I got no reply and, when I followed the instructions to contact via WhatsApp, my message seemed to be blocked. Long story short, we saved the $20 parking and booked into a hotel. How anyone gives this place 5 stars is beyond me.
Tim S — Google review
Dear Claudia, Thank you for your help with making our stay at Charles House so amenable. The directions forwarded by you were so helpful and we found the Castle, local restaurants and shops and the venue for the Horse Show with no problem at all. The accommodation was spotless with comfortable beds, everything needed for an overnight stay supplied. Hard to find a negative but if there was it was the noisy road outside, something not within your control. When we visit Windsor again we will be in touch! Once again, thank you. Sheila Lilley

Ground floor room on a very busy intersection. Blinds permanently closed are a must obscuring any view. Strange smell in the room and the plug for the bath doesn’t work.
Gigi — Google review
Really lovely place to stay. Very central. I felt safe there and the facilities are great. They couldn't do enough to help. I'd highly recommend here.

Clean and tidy, just out of town next to parking (£20!) no front desk, bit off a faff getting codes. Would return

Langton House HMO rented rooms offer a cozy and comfortable stay in Windsor. The family-run B&B provides a warm atmosphere with ensuite rooms fitted to high standards. Guests can enjoy continental breakfast, free WiFi, and parking facilities. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the town center and a brief drive to Legoland. Despite being on a busy road, it remains quiet overnight.
The B&B was like a "home away from home" for me. It is lovely, and very quiet. On my last visit it seemed more like "home" than a "home away from home." I love the fact that they offer upstairs kitchen facilities complete with dishes, cups, microwave, sink, and a seating area. It is also close to pubs, restaurants, shopping and the castle!
Christy B — Google review
Had to stay in Windsor on business and came across Langton House whilst driving around. Free parking in the centre of Windsor was a real bonus. The room was great and excellent value when you include the fantastic English breakfast and free Internet. Next time I'll have to bring the wife - the shops and restaurants are all just a short walk and there are too many places to eat!

Langton House is my “Home Away from Home” in Windsor! The Langton House has become a “home away from home” for me. After a long flight to Heathrow from LAX, it is a comfort to come “home” to this welcoming B&B. I have stayed at the Langton House on 15 occasions, and am more enamored of it than ever. Owned by Paul and Sonja Fogg, it is located on a quiet, leafy street with pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The centre of Windsor is an easy and fascinating walk from the Langton House. Often I travel alone, and always feel safe at the Langton House. The capable manager, Chris, is on the premises, and quite helpful. The B&B has been updated and improved, but the changes have never diminished the charm of this Victorian house built in 1890. I have stayed in all five rooms, and each has its own charm and comforting view. The baths are sparkling and updated. The beds are comfortable, and the sheets and pillowcases always crisp and spotless. Large armoires lend ample space for clothing storage. The house is very quiet, I assume the walls are quite thick. As a frequent traveler I have stayed in many bed and breakfast inns around the world, but the Langton House is the only one I have found that boasts its own Guest Kitchen. Well-stocked with cutlery, plates and cups, there is also a microwave and refrigerator. Biscuits, tea, and hot chocolate are always available. A plentiful Continental breakfast is included in the room price, and for a bit extra, Chris will fix a delicious hot breakfast. After 15 stays at this gem in Windsor, I can’t wait for Stay Number 16!

I've stayed at Langton House on numerous occasions when doing business nearby or stopping over before a morning flight from London Heathrow Airport. The service from Mr Fogg is always interested to help and a good host. He helps with local advice and guidance whenever I need somewhere to eat or want to know how to get there. The rooms are always 100% clean, plenty of towels, nice soap and really good breakfast. Has to be the best B&B in the area. Recommended.
Sean G — Google review
Just the ideal family-run B&B for a quiet get-away. Loved the large King-sized rooms, cosy bed and affordable rates. Really friendly and helpful staff (Aga). Went for the Continental breakfast, which was generous, with lots of tea! Also within walking distance from the town centre and Windsor Castle so easy access to all the amenities. Would definitely return. I hear it gets busy from March to September, so book early! Sackey & Lucy
Tetteh S — Google review
Very nice family room with ensuite that looked fairly new and fitted out to a high standard. Included continental breakfast which was ok but nothing special being cereals, yogurts, fruits and bread for toasting with preserves. For an extra cost you could have a cooked breakfast. Good location being just 10 minutes walk into the town centre and for us just 10 minutes drive to Legoland. On a busy road but that was quiet overnight and also on Heathrow flight path but this didn't bother us.

I do not know how it happened but the star has been typed in by mistake A true sample of excellent hospitality! Most friendly and helpful Manger ever, so lovely and great first impression of B^B All genuinely friendly and happy to help. Rooms are beautifully clean with nice outlook Excellent location; good value for money; good breakfast.

This apartment was absolutely amazing. Clean, well serviced, fantastic location, a person at the end of a phone, secure, it was just superb

Cavendish House provides a wonderful apartment to stay in Windsor. It's in a great location (close to the Castle and restaurants), and it has great facilities (modern & highly equipped kitchen, lovely lounge, modern TV/Video, comfortable bed, efficient laundry, etc.). Free parking too. And the service levels are really high ... the manager responds to questions rapidly. It's really easy to check in and access the apartment (all with automated/secure key access). I love Windsor ... it's soooo beautiful. And Cavendish House makes Windsor better!
Christopher M — Google review
This is a very nice “extended stay”/corporate sponsored apartment complex in Windsor. It is both centrally located and situated on the River Thames, literally around the corner from the queen herself. Windsor palace is literally one street over, with its spires easily seen over the back of Cavendish House. You are within 3 minutes walk to either Windsor Eaton Riverside or Windsor Eaton Central railway stations, plus you are also on the bus line if you do not have or wish to use a car. You are within steps of shopping and dining, as well as local attractions. Depending on the unit, the living accommodations can be quite spacious (I’m from the US). The manager is friendly, accommodating, and amazing! I recommended that uStay, the managing company, be added as one of our vendors.

Hampden Apartments - The Victoria is a spacious 2-bedroom apartment located in Windsor, just 700 meters from Windsor Castle. It offers modern amenities such as free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. The apartment features a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and en-suite rooms. Additionally, it provides free private parking and is conveniently situated near popular attractions like Legoland Windsor and Dorney Lake.
Small mix up with the keys and no early check in. We didn't keep that in mind when we flew in it 6am. However, once we were able to get in our room and settle we absolutely fell in love with Windsor. The rooms are clean and modern while being located in a fairy tale setting. Amazing food scene and tons in a comfortable walking distance...including Windsor castle. Book it if you have the chance. It has been and amazing holiday and completed out summer vacation.
Jennifer C — Google review
Large Comfortable apartment in fantastic location. Not sure why people are moaning about the parking. The ramp is a little bit tight to get to underground parking, but the space was big (if you have an average size vehicle) and there was more than enough room to reverse into the space. (see photo attached). Having a lift from the ground floor was a bonus, shame it wasn’t from the parking bay. Huge apartment, big comfortable beds & en-suite rooms. Balconies from main living area, they were small, but it was a shame that there wasn’t even a small bench or seating outside. Poor view directly out of windows/balcony, however. To see the castle, you must lean out and look to the right. Hot water took a long time to come. The apartment was lovely. Open and spacious, but it could have done with more home comforts (that I have seen in others), maybe a few games/deck of cards/ dvd player, Lounge throw blankets? This is a fantastic location, easy walking distance/close to very good pubs, shops, town center, The Great/Walk Park & The Castle. I would still recommend this apartment and would stay again

Apartment was well appointed. Nice size lounge and ensuite, however it was let down by the poor housekeeping. I bought cleaning spray and spent my first hour cleaning!. Also woken every morning even Sunday! by the washing machines spinning below. I knew the laundrette was below but thought tge noise would be minimal!. Take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper!
