Visiting Mehrangarh Fort is always an amazing experience — I’ve been here twice, with a gap of 10 years, and the feeling of awe remains the same. The fort’s beauty and grandeur are truly timeless. Parking is available below the fort in a large designated area for around ₹50 per car. From there, you walk up to the entry gate to purchase your tickets. You also have the option to hire a guide or rent an audio device (about ₹180 per device). The audio guide works with numbered points displayed around the fort, making it easy to follow along with the history. There’s also a lift facility that can take you directly to the top, allowing you to explore the fort from top to bottom. However, if you take the lift, you will skip points 1–6, so make sure to listen to those explanations before you start, since the audio device has to be returned at point 33. Exploring the fort properly takes at least 1–2 hours, and every corner feels worth it. I also tried the Makhaniya Lassi at their café — definitely a good choice to refresh yourself during the visit. The staff at the fort are very humble and helpful, which adds to the experience. The only advice I would strongly give is: avoid visiting in the summer. The heat can be unbearable. The best time is during the core winter months.

This is one of the most important places to visit while in Jodhpur. This fort is amazing to see both inside and outside the fort. You can get here by Tuk Tuk and pay entry at the ticket office which starts at fort entrance. They accept card payments and also cash. It costs 800 Rupees per person to see the fort but worth it. You can spend approximately 2 hours here walking around and enjoying the historic buildings. It is quite warm here but there are cafes around the fort if you need to buy drinks. There are also toilets on site. I would highly recommend you visit this fort. You can also exit the fort through the Blue City side which is also another nice experience exiting the fort through the Blue City. It gets very busy from early. It is best to come at opening time which is 9am.

This is very nice to see. It is located very close to the fort. You can spend approximately 1 hour here taking nice photographs of the temple and also you can see the fort from a different perspective. The entry fee is 100 Rupees per person and they also accept card payments. There is also toilets on the grounds. If you are visiting the fort visit this place also. It gets warm very quickly here so come as early as you can. It opens at 9AM.

Jaswant thada also known as the taj mahal of jodhpur, was built in remory of Maharaja Jaswant singh 2 and is within or nearby the complex housing the Mehrangarh fort. There are small train available for touring the garden but if you are going in evening just take a calm walk around the garden it will give you peaceful vibes. It is a beautiful garden which gets enhanced during evening and night time as there is lighting on the fountains and buildings. Entry ticket is very nominal (Rs 50 for the whole park with light and sound show) It is great for family and kids. There's plenty of options to play around. There's adventure park. You can use the mini train to go around the park (free). Light and sound show: 7 30pm it's a great show in the park near the fountains where the history of Mandore is showcased. Its a great watch for history enthusiasts. There's a shop inside the park for snacks and drinks. You can get fast food items, chips, icecream, tea etc over there.

Nice garden , with train ride, can see the sculpture and also a temple , I dnt remember wat was the god name, but unique style god and came to know the water show will be there around 7.30 some time. I enjoy a lot the walk around the roa Jodha park. Nice and quiet place, surrounded by green. I did the green trail and took me only 35 minutes slowly walking. The yellow was only 20 minutes. You can see the wall and another nice view of the fort and blue city. Outside they have clean toilets.

Went for morning trekking and it's a awesome place for bird watching . There are different tracks as per difficulty level, I was suggested for yellow tack however that's too easy and short, tried others too and on red found a lotus pond. Perfect view of fort and lake. I recommend to check those stones displayed outside the ticket counter, they are fossiles and some are very unique.

It was a very nice experience of trekking of 2 KM by foot through rocky desert hills with the experience of a lot of different varieties of plant species, birds, squirrels, lake and fishes, reptiles, wild pigs and vast view of Mehrangarh Fort and its boundary walls, zip lines. It will take a minimum of half an hour and maximum up to your interest. Entrance fee of Rs. 100/- to be paid and a Guided tours are also available with additional fees.

What an amazing experience! Thoughtfully curated trail with a walk through the gushing water, waterfalls on the way, walking on the red rocky mountains, view of the lake and fort, I can just go on and on. There were informative boards with details of the rocks and desert plants as well. We did the yellow trail and the monsoon made it awesome.

One of the beautiful place in Jodhpur. Got very beautiful views of the lake, sunset and the mountain range. Place is as cozy. Enjoyed the Zip line and Boating. Though lake is not managed well and there is no option to pay by card or UPI so carry cash with you. Food prices are average, quality and quantity both are good for food except the tea. They use toooo much ginger and quantity is too low of the tea so give instructions before you order.

Either they are unaware, or its not that famous, only there were total of 5 visitors the whole day when I went there, miniature paintings, ivory works, utensils and other homely things of precious metals, arms and amunitions and many more. I was unable to go inside the museum because I reached late at 5.30 and the museum closed at 5.00 pm but I spent the time around the garden, park and observing the museum from outside. It's a neat and clean garden with ample space for playing,running, or just relaxing.

It was an excelent experience!! We recomend a lot the bishnoi village safari with Om, our guide, that shows everything. We have seen the traditional pottery making (and try it!), the rug weaving making, and also a great safari with jeep to see wildlife (blackbucks, deer, peacocks, etc.). We also have lunch with the Om's family and we enjoy it a lot!! It was our last stop after traveling two weeks in india, and we think that if you are visiting Jodhpur, you cannot miss it. Its a really great experience!!

I chose to take this tour with my family in September. We saw black bucks, neelgai, deers and other animals. Tried our hands at block printing and pottery and saw the traditional way of making rugs. Our tour guide Om showed us all this very patiently, wasn't rushing and was very nice throughout. It was an amazing experience of 3.5-4 hours long. Would recommend it surely.

We took the Bishnoi Village Safari along with a stay Pukhraj and it was truly one of the highlights of our visit to Jodhpur. The entire experience was well-organized, immersive, and filled with insights into the rich rural traditions of Rajasthan. He shared stories and background about the Bishnoi community, their environmental values, and local customs, which really added depth to the experience. During the safari, we got to witness traditional block printing, durry (rug) weaving, and pottery. Watching artisans at work in their homes gave us a newfound appreciation for these age-old crafts. The durry weaving, in particular, stood out — it was inspiring to see the painstaking effort and skill that goes into creating each vibrant piece. One of the most memorable moments was spotting blackbucks in the wild. Seeing these graceful animals roaming freely in the open landscape was a rare and beautiful experience. Further, the trek to the sunset point was a calm and enjoyable walk through the village surroundings. When we reached the top, we saw a beautiful view. The sky turned orange , and it was a quiet, peaceful moment that we’ll always remember. Above all, the hospitality of the owner and his family made the day feel extra special. They were kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We left with not just photos and souvenirs, but a real sense of connection to the people and culture of the region

The enthralling village and Wildlife safari arranged by Pukhrajgarh Homestay. We opted for a village tour and wildlife safari package in the afternoon, provided by the homestay which we thoroughly enjoyed with animal sightings like Nilgai, Blackbuck, Gazelle, Fox, Camel, dancing Peacocks and numerous Birds. The package also included visits to the Potters village, Weavers village etc.

Chhotaram Prajapat gave us a fantastic tour. We spent the early morning in nature spotting wildlife, including the mystical ‘Black Buck’ (multiple!), then viewing a demonstration of the Bishnoi welcoming ceremony, attended and participated in turntable pottery making and finally the traditional weaving of rugs at Chhotoram’s own family home. Rugs of Maharaja quality with splendid colours. The day ended with a family meal with exquisite homemade Rajasthani food. We thank you very much, Chottaram, and we would definitely recommend this tour to anybody who wants a real, intimate, heartwarming tour of rural India and welcome into a hardworking Marwari family.

An authentic rustic experience of the life and industry of rural provided, is a treat to enjoy. This place is a small zoo and it can take 2-3 hours to complete. If you are having time in your Jodhpur trip. you can visit this place. The place is clean. There was only 1 queue for tickets, either that should be multiple queues or there should be online facility for this. Wasted around 30mins in queue for tickets. The ticket pricing was 33rs.

Small zoo. Neat & clean. All the toilets were locked inside and outside the zoo. Cafeteria staff overcharged us for ice cream and all other packed products, MRP is erased from all the products. Staff were ready to fight with customers for price issues. Complained the same to police officials at the entrance. Not sure if any action will be taken. Poor experience.

The place is good. Zoo has quite some animals too, so if you want to keep your little ones busy, this definitely is your spot. Just be mindful of either taking your own vehicle over there or book an Uber ride for to and fro coz no public transportation facility is not available and taxis can charge >3x at evening. Also parking closes at 5pm for new entry, so plan the visit for before 5.

Sometime a room becomes so subtle that it hangs on a threat to be called as boring. Felt the need of air conditioning at certain places but since, it’s a heritage property I understand that. Morning, cold buffet was fine. Overall, a good stay and there is everything for everyone.

Amazing place to stay with kids. Lots of small gifts for the little ones. The staff is very generous and is helping you throughout the property. The food was delicious, from curries to home made ice creams; everything was perfect. 100% recommended.

Awesome ! No other word can describe the team and the experience. It was the first time i tried zip lining and that too at Mehrangarh fort, Jodhpur. Flying Fox team introduced us with the zip lining not just verbally, but by getting us do that on a demo area, which kind of relieved us of some inhibition. Then it was about real fun. In total there are 6 segments, after we complete one we are required to walk upto the second and the fun begins. The view from each is spectacular. A picture perfect, postcard view of the fort! Kudos to the team for this initiative.

It was a lovely experience to visit Samer and his village. We are a couple and had opted for the half day camel and jeep safari. The pick up from our hotel (Radisson) was in a quality SUV and the trip upto the Osian desert outskirts was smooth. We also visited the Sacchiyay Mata temple which offered some lovely prayer and ancient architecture. We were met by Samer and the jeep safari that followed through the Osian sand shrubbery and desert outskirts was quite a thrilling experience and could spot some antelope and peacocks. We reached his quaint village and he has a lovely homestay as well. Meeting his family and his own farm camels and goats and talking with the lovely man was a nice experience. My gf (from Thailand) felt at home as she cooked with Samers mom in the traditional village kitchen and we really enjoyed the lovely home cooked meal as well. It was also heartwarming to see his voluntary enterprise to teach his village children English and Computers and meeting the kids was a highlight. And then to end the trip with our lovely camels, Mr. Jigar and Michael Jackson was just stunning in the sunset. The camels are well trained and gentle animals .. the ride very comfortable and fun at the same time ... the location itself through the camel ride just breathtaking. All in all, I would highly recommend this away from the rush and such an earthly and true village experience as you get to interact with the real flavors of the rajasthan and it's beautiful culture. The ride back to our hotel in the car was also well taken care of and our hosts were lovely, polite and extremely hospitable. A 5/5 for a real and truly deeper experience of the camels and culture of rajasthan.

A different experience in Jodhpur was really being looked forward to and this village was the one....We were treated with kindness and friendliness by the hosts! We were welcomed in Rajasthani style with utmost respect and treated with much affection and kindness.Home-made food was served and it was very delicious. The rooms were very clean and well. Camel safari and desert rides with the host were very nice for us. We were taken to nice view points by him and very nice pictures of our gang were clicked. Overall, a different and nice experience I can recommend !

Absolutely amazing experience! The camel ride was great fun and went for a good amount of time. We were welcomed to their small village and shared a delicious meal in their family home. We were amazed at their hospitality and inspired by the local school/education lessons they have set up for children within their home. They use a portion of their family income to fund the education lessons for small children in their village. We wished we stayed for the home stay. We definitely recommend!!

That was an amazing, exciting, and breathtaking experience in Osian, Jodpur. We did some activities such as JEEP Safari(You can find deer and fox if you are lucky ;)),parasailing at desert(super exciting), sunrise camel safari(if you go to camp site, the riding is only about 10 mins, but here they took us for riding about 1 hour. Mr. Sumer, our host, took so many high-quality photos for us.) At night, the host mother cooked traditional dinner for us. We could also try to make chapati. After dinner, the beds were prepared outside of our room, and we were lying down and sleeping under millions of stars. The shower room was just renewed, so it was very clean and comfortable. I strongly recommend you to stay here. You will definitely get a memorable experience in your journey.

We have had the most amazing time during our stay with Sumer, Ashok and their lovely family. The camel ride at sunset was phenomenal, a once in a lifetime experience. Ashok was the best guide, so friendly, funny and a fantastic photographer! We had such lovely hospitality from the family, with lovely chai, delicious food and setting up our beds outside so we could sleep under the stars. A truly beautiful experience! I highly recommend to everyone.

Firstly this is a MUST VISIT Place if you are looking for authentic safari and village stay experience, the guide(owner&son) is completely SAFE to travel to/with, Mr.Dhannaram the owner was waiting near our parked car on road for 3.5hrs untill we return to car as me n my wife were not feeling safe. Then Mr.Sumer took us on camel ride of 30-40min to his village home stay and as we entered they welcomed us by offering traditional राजस्थानी पगडी to wear. Post that we checked the Hut rooms and we were Awestruck by noticing the clean room and specially western washroom.Then Sumer explained instead of making more huts for tourist he invested that money in opening a FREE computer class in his house for villages kids to learn typing and English which was so Inspiring and motivating for us. Later Sumer's mother served us ultimately tasty Rajasthani food and chaay!(mirchi ki chutney was the best).The whole family was very humble in nature and they provided us with great service. Lastly we took jeep safari to our car location. This was one of the best experience we had in our trip to Rajasthan.

I spent nearly a week with Sumer and his family and it was such an incredible experience. Nowhere else have I been in India that has so truly embodied the sentiment of “mi casa es su casa…“ the amount of generosity and warmth from not only the family but also from everyone else in the village was so special. It was sometimes hard to go for a walk as I was always getting invited in for a chai, food, or game with kids! The homestay provides such a beautiful space to reconnect with your surroundings, and I left with a sense of immense gratitude and peace from the time spent there (as well as a couple extra kilos from the incredible cooking). The rooms are beautiful and you can sleep under the stars at night if you choose. It’s a great place to experience a traditional Rajasthani village lifestyle and easily accessible from Jodhpur. Umaid Bhavan Museum is always a delight to visit — I came here after 11 years, and it still feels just as beautiful and well-maintained as before. The views from the property are simply the best in Jodhpur. There’s ample parking space, and you need to pay a small entry fee to access the museum. Inside, you’ll find the vintage car collection, which is in good condition, though I feel the lighting could be improved — especially in the morning, when it’s hard to see the cars clearly. One downside is that the guides inside can be quite pushy, constantly insisting that you hire them. Personally, I feel the museum is fairly self-explanatory and doesn’t necessarily require a guide. Overall, it’s a must-visit place in Jodhpur for its history, architecture, and breathtaking views

A beautiful and grand modern palace that still houses the royal family of Jodhpur. Only a small section of the palace is open to the public as a museum, but it’s well-maintained and gives a glimpse into royal life. You can also see the vintage car collection of the Maharaja, which is quite fascinating. The architecture and interiors are stunning, showcasing luxury and heritage together. The gardens are vast and beautifully kept, and you’ll often spot many peacocks roaming around, especially near the lawns — though the main garden area isn’t open to the public. The palace sits atop a hill, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of Jodhpur city. Parking is available outside the main boundary. The tour is relatively short but worth visiting for the royal vibe and stunning views.

Umaid Bhawan Museum is partially open for the tourists or visitors remaining part is a hotel which is not accessible to the tourists untill you are not booked the resort to stay. Here present king is also stay in the umaid bhawan which was told by the one of the guide. Here is vintage car collection which you can see. Building looks so stunning, but personally I like the place but nothing much to visit inside. As most of the place is occupied by the hotel.

Such a beautiful art school! We stayed for 4 hours learning how to paint in the traditional way - VJ was very knowledgeable and patient with us, he even brought us chai and samosas! We had a fantastic time and all ended up leaving with some gorgeous art work - even if you’re not interested in painting yourself there are tons of beautiful pieces to sift through! We went for an art class for drawing and painting miniatures. Mr Vijay, the proprietor of the Umaid Heritage Art School was our teacher and guide, and over the course of 3 hours, he helped us paint miniatures from first principles. Even though we did not have any prior experience in painting or drawing, Mr Vijay's teaching style was so good that he was able to "draw" the best out of us. He is patient and enabling, and his own skill as an artist is quite unparalleled.

On a rainy day in Jodhpur would not have asked for a better activity. Mr. Vijay (also popularly known as lentil man) is an excellent teacher and he took us through a quick crash course (abt 2 hours) on miniature art and the technique involved in a process which is passed on by generations and 100’s of years old. If you have sometime and believe in promoting art do try it out. It’s a stone throw within the main clock tower market. Check out the painting that he helped me put together!

The artist are very good. But don't trust the seller and keep an eye on the prices, they sell the powder colors for 0,35 cent each gram, which in Europe you can buy for 0,15 cent each gram

From this vantage point, the anticipation of witnessing a vibrant cityscape was certainly present. The promise of "The Blue City" of Jodhpur, with its unique hue, filled our thoughts. Unfortunately, what met our eyes did not quite reflect the famous description we had in mind. It was a slight disappointment to find the scene differing from our expectations. Perhaps the weather or the angle of sight had something to do with it, altering the view.

Masuria Hills is one of the great attractions in Jodhpur. From here you can get a paramomic view of the Jodhpur city. Jodhpur is also called the blue city and from here you can see many houses painted in blue color. The path to Masuria Hills is a little steep but you can easily come here by your vehicle or cab.

Good Place, in this place a statue of vir durgadas rathore and a good garden ( park ) open at 8-10 am and close around 6:30 pm , and view are amazing 😍🤩 . I think mind-blowing. If your mood is sad you can visit for mood happy 😁😊. It's a famase for love park but lover's are not compulsory. So anyone can visit this.

The cafe is made very asthetically. There is a main air conditioned area then there is a semi open place and then the rooftop. I was surprised to see they served beer on tap and also a full blpwn decently priced alcohol menu. I got both the tap beers. Honestly they werent worth 535 each after seeing how the manager had to fill it. It was so frothy something was up with the machine system. It was in April end and it was not the best time I understand. 10/10 for the place and vibe and stuff but not so much for the overpriced beer. I think I was way too excited to just have found hefe on tap on a random one day trip to Jodhpur. We didnt discover this cafe on our last visit to RAAS hotel for a meal. The area around is lovely and worth a visit just on a good time. The walk to the place is good. The step well view is exhilarating. We saw boys swimming in the heat jumping from different heights. Fun experience wish the beer was cheaper.

Situated inside the city. The view of the fort is amazing and keeps you mesmerised. Though it is there 7 to 9 as light goes off at 9 from the fort. So then you see it without the light. Come here by auto , as the lanes are quite narrow. Staff was good. Service was good too. Food was average. Rates are high for sure. We had drinks for 3 and food for 8 people. Paid 21000. Menu very limited. It’s all about the view and the drinks and somewhat food to accompany. Rating it 3 star overall.

I visited Step Well Café after seeing it on Instagram, and it really does have stunning views of Toorji ka Jhalra. 🌊✨ The café is tucked inside the narrow lanes, just about a 5-minute walk from Clock Tower, and the entrance itself is very aesthetic with a lovely blue street wall. It’s a small café with cozy seating, but what makes it special is the calm and serene view of the stepwell. There’s also a rooftop sitting area where you can relax and enjoy the vibe, and you can even head directly down to the stepwell from here. I tried their pasta and coffee, and both were delicious. 🍝☕ The combination of good food and a beautiful view made it a memorable stop during my Jodhpur trip. Overall: a charming little spot with aesthetic vibes, tasty food, and a unique view of Toorji ka Jhalra — definitely worth a visit!

We went to the step well as a family. There the ambience was good and the view from the rooftop was the only attraction. We were disappointed by the service staff who was a super rude dude. We were expecting warmth and smile he was behaving as if he was forced to work there. The cafe I guess just wants to entertain the foreigners and not Indians the prices are just exorbitant and the behaviour was very cold. We don’t take such attitude casually. My daughter asked for here favourite dishes if they could make them. The response was very harsh and cold. We had ordered in advance else we would have left for good. The taste was good to pathetic we ordered three dishes, pasta was good, fries just like any other nothing great and pizza was pathetic. I don’t know whether the owner of the cafe sees the reviews or not but this is to addressed. Keep good staff not Uncles and if you don’t want Indians tell us in advance. If you charge good serve well. No wonders the ratings are just okay, & one more thing they take SERVICE CHARGE which is not allowed as per law and they charge GST on it Which is even more disgusting. Would suggest people to try some other place.

Tourist trap. The place is beautiful and the view over the stepwell is great, but the prices are ridiculous. I was charged 350 rupees for a coffee, which is just absurd even for a tourist spot. They clearly take advantage of the location and the steady flow of foreigners. Such a shame — it could be a lovely café if they didn’t try to rip people off for something so simple. Definitely wouldn’t come back.

One thing which I would like to tell the viewers which I didn't knew many people take pieces of wood or bricks to the top of temple which are available for free from where the trek starts the ideology behind that is on the top their is a dhuna so people carry pieces of wood for that and they carry bricks because of the belief that they will make their homes near temple on the top with bricks and yes you can take some food items like bread fruits etc for feeding monkeys near the temple and you can also take aata or any other food item as on top they cook food for the saints and for langar too i guess . The temple has a large area and has consecrated moortis of many Hindu Deities, but it is the powerful Shiva-lingas on either side of the central area which the locals & tourists alike flock to witness. The Achalnaath temple is right next to another popular temple called Kunjbihari Temple, which is also a delight to visit! A popular tourist spot near the Achalnaath Temple is the Toorji Ka Jhalra, which is an old step-well and a major tourist attraction in Jodhpur.

Positive: 1: All of my expectations about the tour, while reading the google reviews, were met 2: We visited a hut of a Bishnoi family and got to know about their daily struggle 3: Next Mr Devi took us to look for Black Buck ( BB) sightings, where at least 3 jeeps before us were not able to locate it. Luckily we were able to see it 4 Durri Making , pottery, block printing in the tour were educational and the products had good quality and genuine prices 5: Mr Devi also gave us lot of insights into history of Jodhpur, Bishnoi, BB and many more things Negative : Nothing

We had an amazing experience visiting the villages outside of Johdpur. We got to see people making pottery, an opium ceremony, and carpet weaving. It’s nice to see the amount of work and skill that goes into creating these pieces. If you have the time, I would highly recommend this experience

Mr Devi Singh gave us an excellent tour of the Bishnoi Village Area, he was very friendly, approachable and informative. His jeep was spacious and clean. The half-day tour was very pleasant and unique. Meeting and understanding the work of all the local artisans and businesses was a different experience. Devi is a joyful, knowledgeable and attentive guide and driver and we enjoyed the Bishnoi village tour. It was a good occasion to get a closer glance at the village life. Some activities are clearly designed for tourists, but the people and settings are legit and you can ask questions and look around. You can buy carpets, pottery or textiles from the different craftsmen but nobody is pushy, feel free to ask Devi to skip some stops if you are not interested.

Wish I could give negative ratings! Poor hospitality, uncooperative manager/owner. Mehta was his surname. Feeling sorry for giving negative reviews to my surname but I am helpless. The manager was so impolite and rude. We took the rooms for the wedding purpose and he switched off the main switch of lights and did not let us take out our things from rooms.

The Umaid Bhawan Palace is having more than 300 rooms but they do not show us most or even half of them in our visit there. They only show 6 to 9 areas as museum and that's it all. The watches collection is the main attraction within the palace and the garden in front of the palace is the other main point of attraction. I felt like it just started a few minutes ago and it ended soon. So it was not a good experience for me personally. Though it should be visited at least once to see the palace. It looks so beautiful from outside and the garden will definitely be into your camera's shots as soon as you arrive there. There is also a vintage cars collection area beside the garden in front of the Umaid Bhawan Palace. But it is a very good place for photography so you may get good selfies or group photos here and you'll love your photos.

This is one of the best places of Jodhpur, you must visit it. Ummed Garden also known as Public Park is located center of the city. Here can be reached either from Jodhpur Railway Station or Raika Bagh(Paota). From both place distance is approximately 400m to 500m. It has 5 entery gate. Center of the garden has a huge and well maintained Sardar Govt. Museum( timing is 9:45 AM to 5:15 PM). It also have a beautiful and huge Shiv Temple also known as Giriraj Mandir. Huge fair and events can be seen at Mahashivratri and Krishna Janmashtami. It's also have a massive and deep, old well( Bawari). Just near has old High court and Collectorate Office. The garden is full of greenery, various plants, flowers, birds specially peacocks and crows. Huge pavements and roads and running, jogging and walking track are made. It's a peaceful and calm place where everyone want to be spend some time.
