Taoist temple

Cebu Taoist Temple, situated in the Beverly Hills area, is a captivating complex constructed by the Chinese community. The temple features vibrant pagodas adorned with striking dragon designs and other intricate figures. Perched at an altitude of 300 meters, it offers panoramic views of the city, making it a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts. Visitors are advised to arrange return transportation in advance due to limited taxi availability in the area after 5 pm when the temple closes.
Located in the Beverly hills of Cebu, is a Taoist Temple with fascinating views and awe dropping buildings. Created in the past for rich Chinese settlers in Cebu to create an exclusive neighborhood with a temple to practice their culture. This temple has dragon sculptures, unique Chinese shaped buildings and telescopes to look closely into the city. But when you enter inside the temple don't picture the inside as it is disrespectful. And make sure to don't act loud and arrogant instead be respectful. This used to be a great place to view the city, before the TOPS was built but still a great place during the wet season so that you won't get blown away.
Kyle_58 — Google review
After seeing several posts online—especially the images of the striking green dragon winding across the hillside—I knew this temple was going on my Cebu itinerary. The Cebu Taoist Temple was a vibrant and fascinating visit with plenty to take in across the grounds. The temple is perched in the elevated Beverly Hills area and offers incredible panoramic views over Cebu City. There’s a fair bit of walking involved, with staircases and paths weaving through pagodas, pavilions, and beautifully manicured gardens. One of the highlights for me was the dragon sculpture near the upper level—vivid, dynamic, and a popular photo spot for a reason. Inside some temple areas, photography is prohibited, and this is strictly enforced, which I respected. Signs are clearly posted, and temple caretakers are present to maintain the serenity of the place. That said, the architecture, rooflines, and painted details throughout the exteriors are more than enough to fill your camera roll. This isn’t a fast-paced stop; it’s more reflective and peaceful. I’d recommend including it as part of a wider city sightseeing day. Entry is free, and the views alone make it worth the effort. Bring water, wear decent walking shoes, and prepare for a splash of color and culture. The Taoist Temple in Cebu is a cool, peaceful spot tucked up in the hills. Loved the colorful details, dragon statues, and calm vibe all around. Climbing up the steps felt like a mini adventure, and the view from the top is pretty awesome too. It’s quiet, not too crowded, and a great place to slow down for a bit. If you're into chill places with a bit of culture, it’s totally worth the stop.

The Taoist Temple of Cebu is located in the Beverly Hills Subdivision of Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines, is a prominent religious and cultural landmark built in 1972 by the city's substantial Chinese Filipino community. A very peaceful, clean and colorful place. We started at the top and it is a good thing that our Tour Guide dropped us and started at the top going down as we finished. There are people who meditates and offerings of something I don't know. It is a great experience to be here and a highly suggested place to be in the list of Tours. September 19, 2025

Had a really nice visit to the Taoist Temple! Super quiet and peaceful, it had such a calming vibe. I honestly wanted to stay longer and take the time to pray, but dahil sa time constraints, di ko na nagawa. Sayang, but it’s definitely a place I’ll be visiting again next time. Perfect if you’re looking for a moment of peace away from the usual hustle. Highly recommend it for a quick retreat! 🙏🏼✨

Beautiful Architecture. It was difficult for me to learn anything about the temple or the belief system. I tried to ask someone about the Saint in their shrine and he had me sit down in front of his desk which had plexiglass. So there was a barrier between us and I could barely hear him. When I asked about the Saint he told me the name but didn’t elaborate any further, and just stared at me. I felt too awkward to ask other questions (that’s on me) so I thanked him and left. Later I went upstairs to another Shrine where there was another employee nearby. This employee was on his phone and when I said to him “excuse me I have a question…” he just looked at me disgustingly and waived his hand to shoo me away. I’ve never experienced that kind of rudeness in the Philippines. I was hoping that the gift shop might have some material or pamphlets but there was only figurines. Beautiful and quiet place but really strange vibe from the employees.

Was good and I didn't have to pay for a ticket, just walked in but the main issue was getting a trip out via grab. Its far enough away you don't get people consistently so had to walk quite a ways and get a bike in the end. So go but get a driver who you can pay to stay. Also not as good as some of the places in the mountains but can't complain given it was free.
Toby W — Google review
Beautiful grounds and architecture. No photography is allowed inside the various places of prayer. Which are covered on the interior with astounding artwork. It was worth the short drive via Grab from IT Park area.

Fort San Pedro, a historic Spanish fortress dating back to 1738, is now home to a charming garden and museum. This impressive military bastion was meticulously constructed by Spanish conquistadors and stands as a testament to Cebu's grand past. As the oldest and smallest fort in the Philippines, it offers visitors a captivating journey through time, providing insight into the country's colonial heritage.
A Must-Visit Historical Gem in Cebu! Very small but.. Fort San Pedro is a small but fascinating historical site right in the heart of Cebu City. It’s well-preserved and offers a glimpse into the Spanish colonial era, with a mini-museum featuring old cannons, documents, and artifacts. The garden inside is peaceful, and you can walk along the top of the walls for a nice view of the plaza and waterfront. Entrance is very affordable, and the whole visit takes around 30–45 minutes. Great to combine with Magellan’s Cross and the Basilica just a short walk away. Best time to visit is early in the morning before it gets too hot!
Luca F — Google review
Fort San Pedro in Cebu is a laid-back historic spot that’s worth a visit if you’re into old forts and chill walks. It’s not huge, but it’s full of charm, stone walls, leafy courtyards, and a nice peek into the city’s Spanish past. The vibe is relaxed, with lots of corners to explore and spots to just sit and take it all in. It’s right near the waterfront too, so it’s an easy stop while strolling around the area.

If you're a lover of history or simply looking for a peaceful yet captivating place to visit in Cebu City, Fort San Pedro is a must-see. As the oldest and smallest fort in the Philippines, it holds a powerful presence that echoes the rich Spanish colonial past of the country. Originally built as a military defense structure during the Spanish era, Fort San Pedro once served as a barracks for Spanish soldiers. Today, it stands proudly, retaining much of its original structure—thick coral stone walls, a commanding gate, and bastions that whisper stories of centuries gone by. Wandering through its well-preserved grounds feels like stepping back in time. The small museum inside offers artifacts, documents, and photos that give deeper insight into Cebu's vibrant past. It's not just a tourist spot—it’s a living piece of history. What’s even more fascinating is how the fort has been beautifully adapted for modern use. By night, the fort transforms into an enchanting venue often used for wedding receptions and special events. The blend of old-world charm and romantic lighting makes it an unforgettable setting—elegant, atmospheric, and deeply meaningful. Whether you're a history buff, a photographer, or someone looking for a quiet escape in the city, Fort San Pedro is a place where the past and present come together in a uniquely beautiful way.

We came here for a quick tour to check it out. The entry is 30 pesos per person without a guide. I highly recommend you hire a guide. They get paid in tips so you can give what you feel is fair. The guide really made the journey worth it. Otherwise, we wouldn't have understood the history and whatnot as there aren't many infomative signs inside. All in all, it was a lovely 15-20 mins tour. If you have some time to spare, it's worth going through it. We did enjoy the walk and information. Our tour guide was very sweet and took nice pictures of us.

16th Century Spanish Fortification in the Old City of Cebu. The grounds were cool and inviting, the Fort filled with historical relics from days of old. Great stop for a break during the heat of the day

The no BS review. Fort San Pedro is a nice small piece of history in the heart of Cebu. The place was clean and had a lot of cute and clean cats just roaming around. Good place for taking pictures especially in the afternoon. I think the place lacks a bit of storytelling. There are historical pieces but not much else.
Carl C — Google review
This is a historical place which tourists and even locals could visit at least once. You can tour the place for more or less 30-45 minutes. I recommend you to wear comfortable attire as the place is not airconditioned. There is a gallery and souvenir shop as well. Entrance fee is affordable!

Located along Cebu Trans-central highway, the Temple of Leah is a grand Roman-style temple built in 2012 as a tribute to Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. Often referred to as Cebu's version of the Taj Mahal, it showcases Greek-inspired architecture and houses the treasures and memorabilia of Leah Albino-Adarna.
My first impression about the structure of the place was being like into another place like Rome. It is dedicated to Leah Villa Albino-Adarna, built in 2012 as a tribute to enduring love. She was the Grandmother of Ellen Adarna (Philippine Actress). The place tells a lot of stories of their Family. Filled with artifacts and old personal things that through the years it was set aside and made it open to the public to experience. A highly recommended place when you are in Cebu. September 19, 2025.
Gorj S — Google review
Visited here as i got curious of the place. There are many reviews of it resembling Greek architecture. It was nice on the outside, a treat to the eye for someone like me who has little fascination with structures like this. Inside is a huge collections of books, vases and figurines from all over the world. It serves as devotion of love to the creator's wife. I feel it rather an ostentatious display of wealth, as well as income generating establishment which somehow is not in harmony with essence of love. Well it's just me. I particularly admire the view of the city as you have a good vantage point. Many tourist when we visited. With staff that attends to parking. Parking is automatically charged, on top of entrance fee. I forgot to ask if entrance fee is free for drivers, other reviews say it is so please try to bargain on that so you can save. Construction behind the structure and workshop on the basement of the building. You can finish the visit in 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the visitor load. We didn't dine in the area so can't comment on that. Thank you.

As someone who has traveled across Europe and admired classical architecture from Athens to Rome, I never expected to stumble upon such a jaw-dropping masterpiece in the hills of Cebu, Philippines. But The Temple of Leah absolutely blew me away! Rising like a regal monument amidst lush greenery, this temple is a stunning tribute to love and legacy — and an architectural gem that looks like it was plucked straight out of ancient Greece. From its towering Doric columns to its grand marble statues and intricate carvings, every detail is a visual feast. The panoramic view from the temple is equally breathtaking. You get an expansive view of Cebu City and the coastline beyond — the perfect backdrop for this imposing yet graceful structure. It's hard to believe you're still in Southeast Asia; for a moment, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Europe. Whether you're an architecture enthusiast, a history lover, or just looking for an Instagram-worthy spot that tells a story, The Temple of Leah is an absolute must-visit. It's not just a tourist attraction — it’s a timeless monument that speaks of love, art, and culture in the most spectacular way.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Go in the evening - totally worth it! Just visited Temple of Leah and I'm so glad we went in the evening instead of during the day. The lighting at night is absolutely beautiful and you don't have to deal with the heat from the sun, which is a huge plus since you'll be walking around and taking photos. The temple itself is stunning - it's like stepping into ancient Rome or Greece but you're still in Cebu. The white columns and statues look even more dramatic when they're lit up at night. The whole love story behind why it was built (a husband's tribute to his late wife) makes it even more touching when you're there. The view of the city from up there is amazing, especially with the city lights below. We spent a good amount of time just taking photos - every corner is Instagram-worthy honestly. The statues, the architecture, the lions - everything photographs really well with the evening lighting. Staff were friendly and the place was well-maintained. Entrance fee is reasonable for what you get to see. It wasn't too crowded when we went which made it nice and peaceful to walk around. My tip: definitely go late afternoon or evening. You'll be more comfortable, the photos turn out better, and the whole atmosphere is just nicer. Bring your camera and take your time exploring. Really cool place and a must-visit in Cebu!
Crisyl P — Google review
The place is really nice and relaxing! The view is beautiful, and it’s definitely worth visiting if you want a peaceful getaway. Just a little tip — it’s best if you have your own car when going up since transportation can be quite pricey. In our experience, we didn’t have one, so we paid around ₱1,000 for a taxi from the city to the top. Thankfully, the driver waited for us and took us back to the condo afterward. Everything about the place was great — the ambiance, the view, and the overall experience. The floor was a bit wet that day because it was raining, but that’s understandable. It’s a good idea to check the weather before going so you can make the most of your visit. Overall, it’s a 5-star experience for us! We really enjoyed our time here, and I recommend renting a car so you can also explore nearby spots like Tops Cebu and other scenic places around the area. Perfect for a weekend trip or a quick escape from the city!
Vladimer D — Google review
The no BS review. Visited the place on a Friday morning. There were a lot of people already walking around the area taking pictures. If you are a big fan of greek architecture or architecture at all, the temple is quite a sight to behold. Inside the temple are rooms containing different collections ranging from art to alcohol. Nice place to take pictures because of the temple and of course the mountain top view. Nothing else to do here but take pictures and maybe eat at the resto.
Carl C — Google review
Thanks to its location on top of a hill, the Temple of Leah is not only a historical landmark but also a remarkable viewpoint that offers visitors a panoramic view of Cebu City beneath a pleasantly cool and breezy atmosphere. This temple has long been recognized as one of Cebu’s significant tourist attractions, drawing both local and international visitors. However, despite its popularity, the site is currently facing some maintenance issues. Several parts of the structure have deteriorated over time, and ongoing construction work in certain areas may cause inconvenience to tourists and affect their overall experience. Therefore, while the temple remains an impressive symbol of cultural heritage, more efforts should be made to preserve and restore it so that future generations can continue to appreciate its beauty.
Phuc D — Google review
📍 Location & Background The Temple of Leah is located in Barangay Busay, Cebu City, Philippines. It was commissioned by Teodorico S. Adarna in 2012 in honour of his late wife, Leah Villa Albino‑Adarna, after their 53 years together. The architecture is heavily inspired by Greco-Roman/ancient classical design: columns, statues, sculptures, grand staircases. It’s often dubbed the “Taj Mahal of Cebu” because of the romantic story behind it. 🎨 What to See A large bronze statue of Leah stands inside as one of the focal points. The temple houses galleries, a museum, library and displays of Leah’s personal possessions and collections. The hilltop location offers sweeping views of Cebu City and nearby areas, making it a popular photo-stop.

Casa Gorordo Museum, located in the historic district of Cebu, is a well-preserved 19th-century residence that offers guided tours, a cafe, and a gift shop. It provides visitors with an immersive experience into the lifestyle and architecture of a wealthy family during the Spanish colonial era. The museum showcases antique furniture, religious relics, and historical artifacts that offer insight into the elite Filipino lifestyle of that time.
The museum brought back memories of my Mom’s ancestral house of the 1900s. Same shiny hardwood floors, same layout of the bedrooms, same antique cabinets, same religious statues. As I walked from room to room, I felt immensely happy that Casa Gorordo has preserved the cultural artifacts of the 1800s and 1900s and I had the chance to visit this heritage place. It is vintage at its best. Worth visiting.

This is a fantastic house museum that once belonged to one of Cebu's leading families, the Gorordos. The entrance fee includes a tablet audio/video guide, narrated by a member of the family who once lived in the house. The lower level is mostly exhibits of Cebu and some artefacts belonging to the family. The upper section is really where you see the house as it was when it was lived in. The exhibits are lovingly curated featuring some beautiful furnishing including antique and other period furniture. The house even has a private chapel with beautiful devotional objects. A great place to visit if you like house museums.

Beautiful glimpse into Cebu’s colonial past A well-preserved house that gives you a real sense of how people lived during the Spanish era in the Philippines. The architecture is stunning, the rooms are full of original furniture and artifacts, and the atmosphere is peaceful. Staff are friendly and informative, and the place is clean and well-organized. The small garden and veranda are especially charming. A great stop for anyone interested in culture, history, or photography.

If you're visiting Cebu and want to immerse yourself in the island's rich cultural history, Casa Gorordo Museum is an absolute must-see. Nestled in the heart of Cebu City, this beautifully preserved ancestral house offers a rare glimpse into the lifestyle of Filipino elites during the Spanish colonial era. Once the home of Juan Gorordo, the first Filipino bishop of Cebu, the museum is much more than a well-maintained heritage house—it's a living testament to Cebuano identity and resilience. The architecture blends Spanish, native, and Chinese influences, showcasing how local culture adapted and thrived over centuries. Each room is thoughtfully curated, with authentic period furnishings, antique religious artifacts, and educational exhibits that breathe life into the past. The guided tour (highly recommended) is rich with insights and stories, turning what could be just a walk-through into a meaningful journey. The museum also does an excellent job of contextualizing history, exploring topics like colonialism, faith, family life, and even environmental sustainability through the ages. The lush courtyard and serene surroundings provide the perfect atmosphere for reflection and appreciation. Casa Gorordo is not just a museum—it’s a portal to the soul of old Cebu. Whether you're a history buff, cultural explorer, or just someone looking to better understand the roots of this vibrant city, Casa Gorordo will leave you enriched and inspired.

Highly recommend a tour with a guide. It was a very informative and interactive tour with my guide Jerome. He pointed out many details and stories about the house and the lifestyles that I wouldn’t have noticed on my own. And even I was the only visitor in the tour, he made sure I had a good one hour tour with loads of information.

One of the most beautiful ancestral homes that existed even today here in Cebu City. A wonderful experience for wanderer like me who look forward seeing historical sites within the city being preserved a century ago. Here is a home in those days that everytime you enter it's ground you will be amaze, in awe and appreciate the homes of the 18th century Philippines.
Junar H — Google review
A great experience to walk through Cebuano history. The exhibits on the first floor are breathtaking, especially the images of saints and agricultural tools. They also have a massive interactive touchscreen map in there which you can use to view Cebu City through the eras. You can also see the modes of transportation here over Cebuano history like carabaos, horses, trains, cars. The second floor is where they store most of the house things like the furniture, a nice sala mayor, kitchen, dining room, study room, oratorio, and even a pretty spacious azotea. There's also a connected Bo's Coffee on the other house and a souvenir shop if y'all want to buy something. Unfortunately, we got stranded here during our visit for more than 2 hours due to heavy rainfall and we cannot even traverse through the paths and the roads here since all are drenched in the flood. And I'm talking about dirty, murky flood that came from the sewers and canals. In the premises of the museum too it easily gets flooded by rain and you have to wait for the staff to pump them or risk wading through the water. They really should fix that up and especially the city government too regarding the roads that lead here, a lot of people navigate through this area and it's easily flooded which could lead to a whole lot more problems. Overall, a nice museum experience, even if it was partly ruined by the rain and flood.

Yap-San Diego Ancestral House, a historic residence dating back to the late 17th century, offers a glimpse into Cebu's colonial past. The house, owned by Don Juan Yap and Dona Maria Florido, stands as one of the oldest in the Philippines. Its original state showcases weather-beaten yet resilient structures that reflect the God-centric lifestyle of a 17th-century Cebuano family.
Visiting the Yap-San Diego Ancestral House was like stepping back in time. The well-preserved architecture and rich history make it an incredible glimpse into Filipino culture and heritage. The guided tour was informative and engaging, sharing fascinating stories about the family and the house’s significance. The antique furniture, intricate woodwork, and old-world charm make it a must-see for history buffs and travelers alike. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cebu!

It was a great experience. We enjoy the place,no much strict rules, unlike other museums we visited. Nostalgic vibe inside the house. Since it is the oldest ancestral house in the Philippines it doesn’t feel safe in the second floor, feels like the floor will break apart while walking on it. Inside the house are lot of old stuff that will amaze you,it’s a small house yet there’s so much inside it.

This is a national museum. The entrance fee is PHP 100 per head. The place has a lot of historic artifacts in it. The structure is dusty and in need of rehabilitation. The surrounding neighborhood isn't so safe if you are stranger. Some kids came up to us trying to sell pearls and mother of pearl. The house was built in a time when there were fewer buildings, so I is quite warm inside.

The Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House, considered one of the oldest Chinese houses in the Philippines dating back to the 17th century, is a heritage site offering insight into Chinese-Filipino life during the Spanish colonial period. Located in Cebu City’s historic Parian district, it features traditional architecture, antique furniture, and artifacts, with visitors allowed to sit and interact with some exhibits. It is open daily. We've been here last September 17,2025.
Gorj S — Google review
The ancestral house was really a nice old antique house that really has very old objects. I can't say exactly but you must be there to enjoy it and I won't be spoiling so I will not post all of the pics and videos.
Kd C — Google review
It's said that this wooden house was built between 1675 and 1700. The entrance fee is only 100 pepo. It's worth the price, but it's better to stop by while on the way to other destinations because the area isn't very large. Numerous things are on display, but they don't give visitors much insight into how people used to live in the past.

100 pesetas to see old itens from Spanish colonization. Restroom has no soap and sink does not works. It’s worth, but needs maintenance

Well preserved traditional filipino house build in a combination of Spanish and Chinese architectural style. Entry fee of 100 pesos is reasonable. Worth a visit.

The Heritage of Cebu Monument, located along Sikatuna Street, showcases a series of concrete and metal sculptures that commemorate significant events and buildings from Cebu's colonial past. Constructed by Filipino artist Eduardo Castrillo in collaboration with architects Heradio Espanol and Ildefonso Santos, the monument depicts key historical moments from the time of Rajah Humabon to Pedro Calungson. The sculptures represent landmarks such as Basilica Del Sto.
This monument tells about how the Spanish colonized Philippines. Its a simple monument just near the oldest street in the PH which is Colon St. There are lot of museum just nearby about 1km range where you can also visit. It is also called Parian Monument by the locals
Cris T — Google review
The heritage of Cebu Monument is a centerpiece of Parian Park in Cebu. It is an amazing sculpture depicting important historical events of Cebu. It's impressive and very detailed. Location is not the best though as parking can be difficult and some vendors keep on following you with what they are selling. There were also children begging for money. Be careful of your things. You need to have a guide to explain the details of each sculpture if you are really interested with the monument and Cebu's history.
Lyza T — Google review
Visited the Heritage of Cebu Monument and it was a great experience! The monument showcases key moments in Cebu’s history, like the battle of Mactan and the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines. It’s a beautiful piece of art that tells the story of Cebu’s rich past. It’s located in the heart of the city, so it’s easy to visit. Definitely worth checking out if you want to learn more about Cebu’s history while enjoying some local culture!

This monument shows important moments in Cebu's history. This place is quite small and simple, but I think it's worth visiting. I strongly recommend you go there in the evening, maybe right after 5:00 p.m. (It depends on the season.) because it's beautifully lit up. But please note that the area isn't very safe—it's located near a slum.
Liu — Google review
The Heritage of Cebu Monument is a 360-degree sculpture which depicts all the significant historical events that shaped what is Cebu today. The most notable is the cross at the center of the sculpture which symbolizes the birth of Christianity in the Philippines.

There is not much information about what this monument is or many details about it at the monument. There are at least to plaques with information about this place. However, it is a cool monument to see. I do recommend seeing it, but after doing some research on this. It was recommended as a sightseeing place without much context. I was the only one here, but I went during the day and during the work week. I walked here from another tourist spot, several minutes away. I did not realize it was a dead zone for Grab. Be mindful of that if you want to go elsewhere by vehicle and you did not bring your own.

Sirao Garden, also known as Cebu's Little Amsterdam, is a popular attraction situated along Cebu's Transcentral Highway. This picturesque garden has gained fame for its vibrant fields of flowers, particularly the fiery multi-colored celosias that have drawn in countless visitors since the flower farm craze went viral on social media in 2015.
Absolutely stunning! Sirao Garden is a vibrant paradise nestled in the hills above Cebu. The flowers are breathtaking—especially the celosias—and the view of the mountains makes it even more magical. It's like stepping into a postcard. Lots of great photo spots, peaceful walking paths, and a refreshing breeze that makes you want to stay longer. If you're in Cebu, this is a must-visit spot. We left feeling relaxed and inspired. Don’t forget your camera!

Amazing place to visit for the all the insta pics. At least 10+ different picture spots with beautiful flowers gardens and even a small pond. Amazing views and an amazing price at 100 pesos per person entry
AestheticArtist — Google review
This is my second time at Sirao Garden; they added new photo spots for tourists. I would love to see more flowers instead of man-made photo areas. There are still plenty of flowers and plants, but I just liked the arrangement during my first visit.
Trizza S — Google review
We had a fun time at Sirao Garden! Medyo hindi perfect yung weather, but the view made up for it! The flowers and the whole garden vibe are super relaxing. Even if the weather wasn’t at its best, the place still felt so peaceful and calm. If you’re looking for a quick nature escape, this place is definitely worth visiting. Will definitely go back next time kapag mas sunny! 🌸🌿
Beverly V — Google review
There are lots of varieties of flowering plants and picturesque locations on the garden. We enjoyed our visit here. Early morning visits are highly recommended to avoid the heat of the sun. You have to pay extra to access the good toilets. A portable toilet is available at the lower part of the garden, but inconvinient to use for women.
BRYANT I — Google review
This place ia pretty far up the mountain from the busy parta of the city. When you get here you are met with so many native flowers. It is really quite amazing. This is a place to go to on a day trip through the city. Bring your boots, paths here are stepping blocks. Entry is PHP 100 per head. Kids under 2 are free.
Jackson T — Google review
If you can, go and it will be a lot of fun if you like epic landscapes and beautiful gardens. Really worth it, great going somewhere that really feels like the tropical mountains but designed for a photoshoot. 5 stars, road to get there, bit less 5 stars but just pick a good driver and you should be fine.
Toby W — Google review
While in Cebu, I kept seeing stunning photos of Sirao Gardens popping up online—definitely an Instagram paradise. So I added it to my must-see list, and I’m glad I did. It’s not a huge or overly polished attraction, but it offers plenty of vibrant photo opportunities that make it worth a stop if you’re in the area. The gardens are filled with colorful blooms, quirky sculptures, oversized signs, and several themed installations like the red “LOVE” letters, windmills, giant hand platform, and fairy tale-style structures. It’s a very visual place and great for couples, solo travelers, and families looking to take creative shots with a scenic mountain backdrop. I wouldn’t say it’s a standalone destination to build a whole day around, but if you’re exploring the highlands around Cebu—like Temple of Leah or the flower farms—it fits in perfectly as a fun, lighthearted stop. Entry fees are affordable, and there are multiple photo zones to enjoy. If you’re going solo, I recommend bringing a selfie stick or tripod since many of the photo spots are best captured from a distance. Overall, Sirao Gardens is a cheerful spot that adds a bit of charm to any day trip itinerary.

The museum itself is very old and contains artifacts free dating the 1600s in the 1700s the way everything inside the museum is as well-kept the people there care for the items as there is just so much love and appreciation for the Filipino culture that I have been introduced. Thanks to this museum, all the way from Ferdinand Magellan to current day the guides were able to talk to me even in English because I did not know cebuano or Tagalog and I answered all my questions. The museum itself is very clean and it’s not hard to navigate through the whole entire couple of buildings and a lot of the things there you will see surprise you. Couldn’t be more happier with a place to choose to visit in Cebu.

Fantastic little museum about Cebu Island from prehistory through WW2. The permanent collection is three large rooms, lots of artifacts and good descriptions. Also have three small rooms for rotating exhibitions (mostly about minor topics of only local interest). 50 pesos entrance.
Josiah W — Google review
Almost all section in the building at the inner compound (back) was closed due to renovation. The museum itself is small (expect not more than 1 hour) and old (building wise, and how the exhibits are presented). One good thing about the museum is that it’s presenting a detailed information about Cebu and mostly in chronological order. However, this museum spend too much effort in explaining Magellan, what he did until how he died (there’s a room just for himself). Wish that it explains more about the people of Cebu, what makes them unique etc.

It was fun to see some of the history of Cebu and the Philippines. It would be nice if they provided more information about what you are seeing than just little cards. But it was free to visit and it's a neat little place to learn about some of the history. They have parking also there if you go down the little side road and honk your horn. Everyone was very friendly.

Nestled in a lush outdoor reserve, the Jumalon Butterfly Sanctuary And Art Gallery is a tropical paradise for butterfly enthusiasts. Founded by Professor Julian Jumalon in the 1970s, this sanctuary doubles as a museum and art gallery. Visitors can marvel at numerous butterfly species at different stages of their lifecycle, providing an up-close look at these colorful insects in their natural habitat. It's an immersive experience that offers insight into the world of butterflies and showcases captivating artwork alongside the vibrant wildlife.
The place is lovely. The family that runs the Butterfly sanctuary has done it over generations and keeps up the great heritage of the family, which is giving butterflies a place to lay eggs and be safe. You get a little tour which costs 100 pesos and includes the butterfly sanctuary and a little art gallery which is very nice as well. Don't expect loads of butterflies flying around because it's not a place where they keep the butterflies for living, it's more like a come and go area. I would recommend it if you want to get a little education about butterflies in the Philippines and if you are interested in unique artwork, that is made out of the wings (only from dead butterflies of course)
Yannik K — Google review
A hidden gem on a street named for the incredible man that made the sanctuary possible. Very educational. A small operation with a big footprint. Worth the trouble to find it.
Miguel R — Google review
A classic Cebuano must-visit place not only because it is the only butterfly sanctuary in the city but also because the owner, Maestro Julian Jumalon, is one of the rare lepido-artists in the world. Professor Julian is the first Cebuano (but not really a Cebuano) graduate of the UP Fine Arts in Diliman, an artist and a scientist. Maam Maida, Professor Julian's daughter, a known figure in the academe, now manages and runs the place. Best to call ahead to make reservations.
Psyche C — Google review
Educational and informative. This sanctuary showcases the mixture of raw talent in painting, nature, and science. Madam Jumalon shares her extensive knowledge of the well-loved butterflies and the socially-overlooked moths. In her words, they should be loved equally as butterflies work the day shift and moths-- night shift. A very charming, intelligent, and passionate lady; she is the daughter of the late Prof Julian Jumalon who studied and collected butterflies and moths as a hobby. He repurposed broken butterfly wings to create a different type of artwork -to which he coined- lepido-mosaic. You can admire the art more up close and see how the wings were glued to create portraits. Pro tip: visit the morning after a rainy night and you'll experience a magical moment with the butterflies! Middle-Earth-esque.
Ima — Google review
The place has a long and rich history. I wholeheartedly advise everyone interested in learning anything about butterflies to visit this location. There is a ton of trivia and myths you can discover about these species. The location is also spotless and quite relaxing. Make sure you won't be leaving any garbages behind when you arrive.
DELA B — Google review
It's one of the best experience to be here. It's not just to visit and see butterflies, you will definitely learn about butterflies. I was lucky, the daughter of the founder of this garden was the one guiding us. 🦋
Remy B — Google review
One of the best experiences in Cebu City. Lucky enough to be the first tourist led by the student interns from the Don Vicente Rama Memorial National High School back in March, a very well prepared and organised tour. Madame Jumalon, the daughter of late Prof Jumalon, gave an incredible introduction and her insights on local butterfly species as well as her late father's one of its kind in the world, Lepido Mosaic artwork by upcycling butterfly wings. The sanctuary is not very big and is divided into three parts, the outdoor garden for butterfly, the indoor exhibition for butterfly specimen and the art gallery for lepido mosaic artwork (where photos are not allowed). You could spend an hour or two inside, definitely worth a visit, especially for those who are into ecology and butterfly. They were very friendly and helped me hired a Grab to catch the ferry when my phone somehow didn't work.
Alec T — Google review
Late Prof Jumalon was Cebu’s rennaissance man— an innovative artist of Lepido-Mosaics, a self taught etymologist whose works can be found in Smithsonian, and an environmental advocate. And yet, the humility of his legacy is celebrated through the meticulous care of organic artifacts that Madam Jumalon keeps alive in this sanctuary. Hopefully you too can find your heart and mind inspired by visiting this gem tucked away in outskirts of this beautiful city.

This place has always been fantastic. During the weekdays, it’s usually less crowded compared to the weekends, making it more enjoyable. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, which is a plus. I appreciate that the management has installed bidets for people to use. They’re very popular among Filipinos, and using one makes the experience much more comfortable.

Ayala Center Cebu is my go-to destination for shopping, dining, and leisure in the heart of Cebu City. The mall’s modern design, combined with lush tropical gardens, creates a relaxing and inviting atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable. When it comes to shopping, I love the variety of stores here—everything from high-end international brands to unique local boutiques. Whether I need fashion, electronics, or specialty items, I can always find what I’m looking for. The dining options are just as impressive, with countless restaurants and cafés offering both local and international flavors. My favorite spot is the central terrace area, where I can enjoy a great meal in a beautiful open-air setting. I also appreciate how clean and well-maintained the mall is. The open spaces and gardens make it a pleasant place to stroll and unwind, even on busy days. Security is a priority here, with thorough bag checks and safety measures that give me peace of mind while I shop and dine. Getting to the mall is easy since it's located in Cebu Business Park, but I’ve noticed that traffic can be quite heavy during peak hours. I always try to plan my visits accordingly to avoid the rush. Ayala still remains as one of the luxurious malls in the City of Cebu, with a location in the Business Area of Cebu, near the Center of Cebu in Fuente is a very luxurious mall. Not only does it have the luxury brands and restaurants, it also has a terraces, and a outdoor area on the top floor designed for social gathering and activities. It is also near BPO and Office Buildings, and Condominiums. Considering its in the middle of the economic center. But all in all it's a great luxurious mall designed to shop and enjoy. SM Seaside City Cebu, which opened in 2015, goes beyond being just a shopping mall and offers a complete lifestyle experience. Visitors can enjoy diverse dining options, shop for the latest trends from local and international brands, or engage in recreational activities like bowling, skating, and archery.
SM Seaside Cebu is one of the largest malls in the Philippines, offering a vast and impressive shopping experience. With its modern architecture, high ceilings, and wide walkways, the mall is designed to give visitors a spacious and airy feel. Inside, you’ll find a variety of stores, from luxury brands to more affordable local shops, as well as electronics, home goods, and beauty products. There’s something for every shopper, making it a perfect destination for anyone looking to indulge in a day of retail therapy. The food scene at SM Seaside Cebu is another standout feature. The mall has an extensive range of dining options, from casual food courts with local and international fast food to upscale restaurants offering delicious meals with beautiful views of the city and ocean. We tried some restaurants during our visit, and although we didn’t make it to the bar, it was still a great experience. For those looking to relax and unwind, the Sky Park on the top floor is a peaceful outdoor space with benches, cafes, and a stunning view, making it an ideal spot for an afternoon break or evening stroll. We also had a blast trying out the bowling and archery at the mall. Both activities were fun and added an extra layer of excitement to our visit. Whether you’re looking for something active or just want to enjoy some downtime, SM Seaside Cebu has a variety of options to keep you entertained. The mall is easy to access, with ample parking and a family-friendly atmosphere. one of the Biggest SM Malls that I have even stepped foot in, Located strategically in the South Cebu Reclamation Area near the ocean and downtown is a convient place to shop and explore. The design of this mall is very interesting a circular mall with weird curves and designs with natural light beaming into the malls atmosphere. The view of the sea nearby makes it an awe experience when shopping. And the parks here are designed for social interaction and conversation. The stores and wide options here are huge, besides the usual stores and fancy restaurants there also a bowling, skating ring, Lazer tag, VR and other fascinating things to do. It's great to explore here the entire day while getting a sweat. The icon of the place is the Seaside tower, supposed to be a observation deck for people to look at Cebu has been ongoing renovation, but it has been years since their "renovation" started and there has been no progress, hope it finishes soon on my next visit. But again the mall itself it's fascinating definitely a must visit in Cebu City.

The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, also known as the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Angels and St. Vitales, is a stunning testament to history and faith located in Cebu City, Philippines. Completed in 1909 but originally established in the 1590s, this Roman Catholic cathedral has endured numerous restorations due to natural calamities and wartime destruction. Its striking facade features coral stone adorned with intricate carvings that beautifully blend neoclassical and Spanish colonial styles.
The place is awesome for worshipping. It is solemn, peaceful and well ventilated. Rest rooms are clean and abundant in water. Finally, there is enough space inside and even outside.

This church is one of the oldest churchest in Cebu City (Founded 1595). Even up to now, the place is still so beautiful. My friend had a wedding here and because the ambiance is so beautiful already, it didn't need much decorations. I love that masses here always start on time. It's definitely a must visit if you want to know a bit of history of the Christianity here in Cebu.
Claire F — Google review
Lovely place to pray and just escape from the busy city. Parking area is huge compared to most city churches. Maintainance is ongoing in some areas as well. It looks like this structure wasn't hit so bad with typhoon Odette as with the other Churches. When we visited here, there was also a wedding ceremony going on. Congrats to the couples and best life ahead.
Greur B — Google review
When I was studying in Cebu City and later on during my seafaring journey, this place of worship was always on my list of must-visit destinations. The atmosphere inside is incredibly calming, and attending mass here can make you feel as though you're in heaven. In 2016, I took some photos of the church for a photo blog. However, the guard seemed unhappy about it, so I decided to take photos only outside the church.
Arjay R — Google review
I had the opportunity to visit the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral during my recent trip to the Philippines, and I must say it was a breathtaking experience. Upon arriving at the cathedral, I was immediately struck by its majestic facade. The towering twin spires and intricate designs of the exterior were a sight to behold. It truly reflected the rich history and heritage of the city of Cebu. As I entered the cathedral, I was welcomed by the soothing sounds of the choir and the peaceful atmosphere inside. The interior was just as stunning as the exterior, with high ceilings, grand pillars, and beautiful stained glass windows. I couldn't help but feel a sense of tranquility and awe. One of the highlights of my visit was witnessing a mass being held. The service was conducted in both English and Tagalog, making it accessible to all worshippers. I was moved by the strong sense of community and devotion from the locals. It was a powerful and unforgettable experience. After the mass, I took some time to explore the cathedral and its surroundings. I was amazed by the attention to detail in every corner, from the intricate decorations to the well-preserved artifacts. The cathedral also has a museum that showcases the history of Cebu and the role the cathedral played in it, which I found to be very informative and interesting. Visiting the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral was not only a spiritual experience but also a cultural one. It was a beautiful representation of the fusion between Spanish and Filipino influences. I could see why it is considered to be one of the most significant landmarks in Cebu. Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral to anyone traveling to the Philippines. Whether you are religious or not, the beauty, history, and cultural significance of this cathedral make it a must-see destination. It truly is a gem of Cebu and a testament to the strong faith of its people.

Cebu Ocean Park, situated in the South Road Properties (SRP), is a must-visit man-made attraction in Cebu. It is the first marine park in the Visayas and covers an expansive 10,000sqm area, surpassing Manila's Ocean Park.
Cebu Ocean Park offers a really lovely experience that's perfect for dates or families with kids, providing entertainment that appeals to both romantic couples and family groups seeking educational fun together. I enjoyed my time there, discovering a nice mix of animal displays that goes well beyond typical aquarium offerings. The variety includes not just marine life, but also birds, reptiles, and penguins, creating a comprehensive wildlife experience that keeps visitors engaged throughout their visit. The park provides great value for money with reasonable admission pricing, though it's up to you as a guest whether to pay extra for the professional photographs - an optional add-on that some visitors may find worthwhile for capturing memories. The absolute best part of the Ocean Park experience was the aqua dining restaurant! This unique dining concept elevates the visit from simple sightseeing to a memorable culinary adventure, combining quality food with the magical ambiance of dining surrounded by marine life. Cebu Ocean Park successfully combines educational wildlife viewing with entertainment value, creating an experience that satisfies different age groups and interests. The highlight aqua dining restaurant transforms the visit into something special, making it more than just a typical marine park and worthy of recommendation for anyone seeking a unique day out in Cebu.

A nice ocean park to have in Cebu with so many fish varieties and fascinating bird show. The price may be high for locals, a good deal can be found in Klook, and buy ahead to reduce being in line and the waiting time The food available in the park are pretty standard snacks and coffee shop is also available. The restaurant can be pricey. The staff are excellent The place is disabled friendly. Overall a nice activity to go to with family and SM is just across the street

On my Second Visit to Cebu, I went to Cebu Ocean Park which is my first ocean park and the best ocean park in my experience. We got to see many different fishes, birds, sharks, snakes, penguins and other wildlife. A perfect place and opportunity to picture taking and to admire the wildlife there. There were also events there the Bird Show and the Feeding both of these events were nice and the takecarers took great practice and care for the animals properly. There were also dining establishments, souvenirs, picture takers, snacks, and more. And all for the entry fee of 700. Even though it was a great place to learn, admire and picture it only took 2-3 hours to finish everything. It was that really exciting but it was mesmerizing and learning. A great place, one of the best Ocean Parks in the country and could come back on my next visit to Cebu someday.

If you're visiting Cebu in the Philippines you simply must pay a visit to the wonderful distraction that is Ocean Park, it's packed full with tropical wildlife of all types and sizes, with a particularly excellent bird sanctuary where the kids can feed the tropical parrots - they actually hop onto your head, then shoulders then arms! There is a large walk through aquarium filled with ocean creatures such as sharks and manta rays. The fish foot spa is a fun part of the tour, as are the penguins and large fish displays. But my personal favourite was the floor to ceiling neon lighted jellyfish tank room, complete with its own bar, stunning and mesmerizing. Be prepared to sweat though, as most areas don't have effective air con, if none at all

It felt like they were trying to milk as much money as they could. I would've been inclined to spend extra money if it hadn't felt almost "forceful." It was a refreshing experience in that I could see some exotic or rare animals but it didn't feel as magical as I expected. Maybe I was expecting too much. I would recommend it for a family with kids. The souvenir shop had cute and funny merchandise so hang onto your money until you exit and see it.

my first time coming to Cebu Ocean Park with my gf! we went on a weekday, I wanted to buy the tickets in advanced thru Klook but in the end we bought the tickets on the day itself. We queued about 10mins+ to get the tickets! tbh it wasnt that expensive i forgot how much was the tickets. when we walk and enter the entrance, we thought it was a small ocean park because we walk in circle for 2-3 times till we read the signboard and follow it properly till we got into the big oceanarium thing. despite it being on a weekday (wednesday afternoon) it was still crowded full of people/tourist!! we also love the bird show, some of the bird activities, like training the birds to put trash into respective recycle bins, it was similar to Singapore’s former Jurong Bird Park that i went to. i enjoyed my time here because of my company hehe great company = great time. enjoy and had fun here with my cebuana gf hehehe so adorable

After messaging Cebu Ocean Park’s page to ask about their baggage counter (they replied promptly—great service!), we headed there right after checkout. Entrance was ₱700 per person, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a world of wonder. We had lunch inside the park while watching the feeding of the fishes—a surprisingly calming and delightful experience. The kids and my husband were thrilled exploring the exhibits, from vibrant marine life to exotic birds and more. But the highlight? Feeding the penguins! It was our first time seeing penguins up close, and the joy on our faces said it all. Gentle, curious, and absolutely adorable—they made our visit unforgettable. Cebu Ocean Park gave us more than just a fun day—it gave us a beautiful memory as a family. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore, learn, and laugh together.

It’s located at SM Seaside Complex, Mambaling, Cebu City, Cebu 6000. Directions and public-transport info are available on their site. It is described as the largest oceanarium/marine-theme park in the Philippines. The park has several themed zones: e.g., “Seven Seas”, “Jungle Trek”, “Creepy Critters”. A major feature: a Deep Tank Lagoon with a 7.2-metre deep tank and 360° tunnel view. Special experiences: “Stingray Encounter” – swim or interact with stingrays. “SeaTREK” – helmet dive walk-through underwater environment. “Croc Cage” – an adrenaline attraction with a crocodile lair. The park offers an array of attractions including roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, and themed zones designed to appeal to visitors of all ages. Inspired by famous landmarks and global themes, the park provides an immersive experience that transports guests to various destinations around the world. Located 8.
first time i came here and i really enjoyed myself because of the company i’m with hehe. anyways went here on a weekday and it wasn’t crowded, it felt like we owned the place because there wasn’t any queue to all the rides. there’s restaurant inside too and really wasnt crowded. i reallt enjoyed the ferris wheel, stayed there till night. theres also like snow world inside but you cant use phone to take inside the snow world.

This park is not big and many facilities are not suitable for very young children. I like the 5D theater, and the other facilities were fun for the kids. The snow park recommends bringing your own socks/gloves/earmuffs, otherwise you need to buy them from them. I think the ticket price is not too expensive, and you can have a lot of fun in this small park in about three hours.
Glen C — Google review
We came at a bit of bad timing since it was raining and the outdoor rides were closed. We decided to just avail the Snow World and a package for 3 rides instead. It was still fun — the rides were good, although a bit short, and you’d wish they lasted longer. We chose the taxi bump car, drop tower, and roller coaster, and overall still had a great time.

Anjo World Park is an amazing place for thrill-seekers and families! The rides are exciting, and there are plenty of attractions for all ages to enjoy. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid long lines, especially on weekends. There’s also a food park outside with many affordable food choices, perfect for a quick and delicious meal after a fun day. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience—definitely worth a visit!

I visited with friends on a Sunday and had a fantastic time exploring the rides and attractions. While there aren't as many rides as in larger amusement parks, the experience was well worth the price. The wait times for the major attractions were only about 10-20 minutes, which we found very manageable. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming for both families and groups of friends. Highly recommend visiting!

This location is well worth the cost, and I had an unforgettable experience there. Everything went smoothly while we explored the facility and rode the thrilling rides, and the staff was quite nice. The scenery of the city riding the 200-foot ferris wheel is simply amazing. I suggest going there during weekdays as they have fewer customers during the week but it depends.

It's our first time here and we got here late in the afternoon so we decided to choose the three rides ticket but it's still worth it. We've tried the ferris wheel and the rocket ride thing. There's more rides to try plus snow world which gives us more reasons to come back another time here. Plus there are mini games as well which are fun to play.

The Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu Pilgrim Center, also known as the Santo Niño Basilica, is a historic minor basilica located in Cebu City, Philippines. Founded in 1565 by Fray Andres de Urdaneta and Fray Diego de Herrera, it stands as the oldest Roman Catholic church in the country.
Shed a tear when i came here. 30 years ago, I came here to pray. Sto Nino granted my wish back then. Every visitor of Cebu must visit this place. Attached photos are from the Magellan Shrine located just adjacent to the church.

You must adhere to the dress code despite the weather. No shorts, no sandals, no short skirts, dress attire only. As soon as you enter you are greeted with vendors selling candles. Before you enter, there are vendors. After you leave, vendors will pin you and ask for donations. You are allowed the opportunity to spend time praying. I wanted to learn more about the historical significance of this church but it was difficult to comprehend and there doesn't seem to be attempt to help the public learn this. Not enough literature - signage, brochures, books.

🙏Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu One of the most sacred and historical landmarks in the Philippines, the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu is home to the 500-year-old miraculous image of the Child Jesus, fondly called Sto. Niño. This treasured image, a gift from Ferdinand Magellan in 1521, has become a symbol of faith, hope, and devotion for millions of Filipinos. ❤️ Just a few steps from the Basilica stands the Magellan’s Cross, another iconic reminder of our rich history and the beginning of Christianity in the country. 🌎⛪ A visit here is not just a journey through time, but also a moment of prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving. Truly, the Basilica is a place where faith and history meet. 🙏✨ 📍 Cebu City – where the heart of Filipino faith beats deeply. 💛

The Basilica de Sto. Niño is a deeply spiritual place that touches the soul. It holds the oldest religious relic in the Philippines—the image of the Holy Child Jesus—and has long been a symbol of faith and miracles. Whether you're a pilgrim or a curious traveler, stepping into its grounds feels like entering a sacred space filled with devotion and history. 🚦 Getting There The only challenge is the traffic. Coming from Mactan International Airport, the roads can be quite congested, especially during peak hours or festival season. It’s best to plan ahead, leave early, and bring patience along for the ride. Despite the heavy traffic, the experience is worth every minute. The Basilica is not just a tourist spot—it’s a place of prayer, hope, and quiet miracles that continue to inspire generations.

Coming back to this church feels like returning home. It’s the place I’ve cherished since childhood, and after being abroad for almost 9 years, stepping inside again brought back so many memories. I’m deeply thankful and blessed every time I visit. A truly meaningful place to pray and reflect — highly recommended for Catholic Christians and tourists seeking peace and faith. 🙏🤍

This church is one of the most religiously important in the country. Home to the Sto. Niño which arrived in Cebu in 1521, and this church is responsible for Sinulog to exist in the first place. This church has daliy morning and evening mass every day, and multiple masses in Sunday. And during morning masses it takes place in the church where the St Niño is. Which is currently under renovation For the English version you usually go in the evening mass In the outdoor area of the church complex, the structure is very interesting. But it's a great place overall to practice Christianity and to also realise the impact it has made in our country today.

Rico's Lechon is a renowned establishment in Cebu and the Philippines, known for its traditional Filipino dish of spit-roasted suckling pig with irresistibly crispy skin. The restaurant stays true to tradition by marinating the pork in a blend of herbs and spices, serving it with leeks and garlic. What sets Rico's apart is their introduction of spicy lechon, adding a unique twist to this beloved classic.
We went here during our Cebu Tour because it was recommended, a bit disappointed sa lechon kasi hindi na sya crispy when we buy considering it was lunch time, the food is tasty, price is mid, hindi sya ganun kapricy compared if you will eat in Metro or BGC. Waiting time is okay lang din..

Rico's Lechon - Axis Escario N Escario St, Cebu City, 6000 Cebu, Philippines While visiting Rico, one of Cebu’s highly recommended Lechon restaurants, I embarked on a culinary adventure at 3:00 pm. Yearning to savor their renowned Lechons, I indulged in a delightful order: 1/4 lb of Spicy Lechon, another 1/4 lb of the regular Lechon, rice, bottled water, and a refreshing cucumber with calamansi juice. Reflecting on my experience: 1. The staff, unfortunately, seemed to be having an off day, appearing a bit distant and slow-paced. Perhaps they were facing challenges that day. 2. Disappointment struck when I discovered they had run out of crispy skins, offering only wet and soggy alternatives. A slight detour from the usual high standards expected of a top-tier Lechon establishment. 3. The regular Lechon, although dry and challenging to eat, still managed to deliver on flavor, providing a redeeming quality amidst the setbacks. 4. On the brighter side, the Spicy Lechon shone through with its moist and delectable taste, making it a standout dish worth every bite. The contrast with the regular Lechon was quite apparent. 5. The vegetable dish was a true triumph, bursting with flavor and satisfaction. In hindsight, sticking to the Spicy Lechon and the delectable vegetables might have been the winning choice. Regarding a return visit: Based on my recent encounter, the decision leans towards a resounding NO. Instead, my future Lechon cravings will lead me to these promising options: 1. Ramon D. Go, the esteemed proprietor in Glendale, Arizona, known for selling his savory Lechon by the pound on weekends. 2. Brian Webb, offering a unique catering service that brings the pig to your location for a memorable culinary experience at your special events. With these exciting alternatives in mind, the journey to find the perfect Lechon continues with optimism and a zest for delicious discoveries!

Went today to avoid lunch rush and there were a few people there. We got greeted and got our order and and payed that was the only time we had the server check on us. Rico one word of advice “House of Lechons” customer service and engagement is something you need to learn. They may not be super happy to do it but they provide awesome service and great atmosphere. Sadly it was disappointing since we had expectations of great service since we went there yesterday. Food was good but service and terrible is not good and very very very lackluster. Our busboy was more engaging than the servers.

This was a letdown and not worth the price or hype. We ordered a belly lechon and mix seafood. The lechon was super dry, easily the worst that I had on my trip.it also did not have any porky or spices as flavour. The mix seafood was honestly just a Chinese style steamed dish. Service was not great, waiters were lacking Filipino hospitality and overall service was slow. I'd go to House of Lechon instead.

We were excited to try Cebu’s Lechon given they’ve marketed themselves as one of the best lechon. However, our experience in this restaurant isn’t good. Our order came more than 30 mins, not even warm. Rice is stale. Chicharon Bulaklak isn’t freshly cooked. And the worst is that their lechon isn’t something we want to remember. The meat is hard and the skin is chewy that I can’t even cut with my teeth. The staff had told us that the lechon was delivered at 10am and we were served with what is left. Take note, we came around 6:30 and they close at 9/10pm. I wouldn’t recommend.

if you’re looking for the best lechon in cebu, DON’T come here. you’ll only be disappointed—and this is coming from a local. the service is terrible, but the service fee is built into the bill. so you’re paying even though you absolutely shouldn’t be. food was served cold and was not at all worth the one hour wait. one of the dishes we ordered wasn’t available, and we weren’t told until after the food was served. and there was hair in the pinakbet! :,) again, PLEASE don’t come here if you’re looking for good lechon. or good food, for that matter. there’s many many other cebuano restaurants that are actually worth your time and your money. don’t let this restaurant taint your cebu eating experience!

The Sisig was disappointing. It did not taste like any sisig I ever eat before and I have eaten sisig in many many places in the Philippines and the USA and I make sisig myself often. The lechon baboy was ok and the skin was chewy and not crispy. The lechon is mostly bones also.Overall the food isn’t terrible but it’s not that great either. Perhaps I should go earlier in the day because we came to eat near closing and maybe that’s their reason for less than quality food. Maybe….dor what I paid, 1170 pesos, overpriced.

We still enjoyed the place, especially view and scenery. The place is good. I love their food too. However they need to have a system on entry PLUS their service is quite slow. The pool have restrictions yet not strict. In kids' pool, a kid just 💩 because he was not wearing any diaper. I wish they made it really clear to only allow children to wear proper attire. And there should be a proper system of getting tickets upon entry rather than letting everyone queue up waiting for their turn. But I still love their place. The improvements that they made since the last I went there way back 2019. It is still a greta place for kids.

We only had two weeks of vacation, so I carefully planned and arranged all our hotel stays and activities to make the most of our short time. This was the last hotel and resort I booked before heading back to the U.S. I’ve previously stayed at places like Waterfront, Sheraton, Radisson Blu, Slam’s Garden Resort in Malapascua, and Cabana Beach Club in Moalboal—and never once did I encounter accommodation issues. Those hotels and resorts provided the quality service and comfort I paid for. Unfortunately, this place failed to do the same. Despite repeatedly requesting a room on a lower floor due to traveling with senior parents and having several pieces of luggage and we will be staying for 3 days (as this was our final stop before flying home), we were assigned to a room on the third floor—with no elevator. I explained the situation multiple times, yet the staff made no effort to accommodate us. Instead, they were quick to suggest paying extra for a room change. It was incredibly disappointing to experience such insensitivity from the receptionist—by far the worst front desk service I’ve encountered. At all the other hotels, I was always informed of our room location beforehand, and staff made sure it was suitable. That was not the case here. In the end, I had no choice but to pay additional fees just to move my parents to a lower floor for their comfort. The only bright spot was the helpful luggage staff and the nice pool area, which gave us a bit of joy as we wrapped up our vacation as a family. That alone is the reason I’m giving this place any stars at all.

Place is great for children but amenities is quite old. We purchased a day use only. Got their pavilion cottage for 2000 pesos hoping for a great room service but not that great. It has a tv but no remote and told us it’s broken. The sliding door is too hard to open and close. Just fair service.
Rose A — Google review
This place is ideal for families, especially those with kids, since the deepest pool is only 4 ft. Their themed pools are cool. However, the staff weren’t very accommodating during my stay and cleanliness is not much observed in the resort. Overall, it’s a fun spot to visit with family, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a couple’s staycation.

*1/5 stars* This resort isn't the best choice if you're looking for a relaxing stay, especially with kids. The rooms are definitely not soundproof, and noise can be a big issue. We experienced loud drinking sessions from the nearby room that went past midnight, making it hard to sleep. Not ideal for families or those seeking a peaceful getaway.
Crisanto L — Google review
(Our stay was at their exclusive rooms) Let's start with their rooms. Their rooms are nice, cold, and have comfortable beds. They also have a smart tv with yt and netflix. Their aircon remote doesnt really work in our room, i dont know why. The keycards they gave to use for our room didn't work so we had to call them to get switched (which they did asap). Their hairdryer in the cr was pretty ew tho. When i held it, it was sticky and it seemed to have a yellow stain on it. Luckily, no one used it in our room. Then there's the walls. The walls are definitely not soundproof. We could hear the people next door especially whenever they move a chair or something drops that make a loud sounds in their room. Atleast it's not to the point where we could hear people's tv or voices. And now their services. Their services are good overall. The only thing is that they dont call you to dish out your plates and stuff in your rooms. They should call to ask to dish out. Then also, if you have complementary water for your rooms. They should give you without asking. (We had complementary water in a bottle, but some of us didnt know so they couldn't receive it). And also, i tried looking for a menu online and in our room but there was none, so we had to call them for a menu. But all they did was let us take a picture of the menu, so i think its alright. Thats basically it for service. And for location, there's no problem. Theres even a bar connected to the place if you want to have fun.

We recently visited cebu westown lagoon expecting a relaxing getaway, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. From the moment we arrived, the staff's unwelcoming demeanor set the tone for the rest of our stay. What really stood out was when they repeatedly emphasized the cut-off time, which made us feel rushed and unwelcome. Despite this, we tried to make the most of our time at the resort. However, the initial impression lingered throughout our visit. If the staff could work on providing a warmer welcome and more hospitality, it would greatly enhance the overall experience for guests.

Visitors can expect friendly staff who are eager to assist with photography and provide informative tours. The museum features interactive activities such as making keychains and slime, as well as selling merchandise like gummies.
A fun and immersive experience with multiple backdrops. It's a place to take pictures but the props are also really fun to play with. Staff are very accommodating in taking pictures.

Loved it. Kids really enjoyed the quirky installations! It was like being in a Willie wonka movie!! Very quiet when we visited, think it's well worth an hour of your time. Bring socks to wear on some areas..or can buy there. Enjoyed reading about the emotions too... different to the usual.

I went there alone. The staffs were so nice. They took photos and videos of me. Helped me with my angles too. The staffs were smiling, I feel so welcomed. I will probably go back again with my love ones. It's informative and aesthetic. There's a part where you can read facts about emotions and how to control them. You can make keychain, slime, buy gummies and their merch too. Good place to visit, it's worth the money. They give free mochi and ice-cream too. I love their music too hohoho. I am a walk-in customer, I didn't wait, but I recommend buying tickets in advance. I love there~

I’m glad this place is pet friendly and my furbaby was able to take really cute colorful pics. The staff are really nice and helped me take pictures. A must visit place and we’ll come back again when my little Siomai is bigger so we can take more pictures :)

Went there last week with my niece and nephyy and they had fun. What made me give a 3-star review is their “photoshoot” policy. It states there that they will charge for a photoshoot fee if guests have equipments such as gimbals, lights, tripods etc. I brought with me my mirrorless camera, without attached flash and light, I even explained that it just work the same with a digi cam but with better lenses. **For info about what specific camera it was, it’s Sony a7iii with 50/2.5 prime lens** The front desk had it checked with one of their crew and said it was okay. When we got inside, I was told by another crew not to use the camera because it is against their policy and I will be charged 9000pesos++ because it falls under their no “photoshoot” policy. I was flabbergasted and did not argue anymore coz I also don’t want to ruin the mood of my pamangkins. Forced to rent a locker bcoz of the circumstances. This is the only museum that I was not allowed to use my camera. So we just settled at using my iPhone’s photo capabilities. Just update your policy to “no dslr or mirrorless camera allowed”. It’s simpler and sets the expectations straight. Not gonna go back. The emotions I had was more on the confused and furious side.

I brought my family here when they visited Cebu and it was a great experience! Super Instagramable kahit saan ka magpicture. The staff were really nice din kahit di marunong magbisaya mga kapatid ko they still accommodated us and helped us take pictures, too! It is a must visit stop here in Cebu. We had fun learning about human emotions din as one of the staff gave us a tour around the museum. Pang whole family ang mga activities dito! We’ll surely come back :) 💯💯💯

If I could give them no star at all that would be great. I paid for my 7 year old to go in and i specifically told them that im leaving my 19 year old temporarily so i could go downstairs and book her in to her nail tech appointment. I already told them im coming back to swap with my 19 year old so she could go get her nails done. As soon as i came back to do the swap, they told me that i couldnt do so as it was not allowed. This is so stupid. If I only knew that this was the case then i shouldn’t have done what i did and just stayed behind. Staff should learn to listen to what they are told and not pretend they were unaware as i definitely told them numerous times that I’m coming back to do a swap. Maybe their brains were focused on the sell and not on the customer. You need one adult to accompany a child and i don’t understand why the swap was not allowed. Its not like there were two of us adults staying. If a guardian is willing to stay for the entire two hours, go ahead. If not and want to swap, stay clear. Management need to focus on training your staff customer service as your staff have selective hearing and reevaluate your guardian policy. It really gives your customers inconvenience. I paid 1375 on 20 minutes play which was supposed to be two hours as I didn’t have the time to wait for both my children to be in there and also get my 19years old daughter nails done after. We have plans to be somewhere else and have no plans to stay in Ayala for 4 hours. I feel ripped off just because of your staff not being clear.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Cebu, the Minor Basilica of the Holy Child of Cebu is a treasure trove of history and spirituality. Dating back to 1565, it proudly holds the title of being the oldest Roman Catholic church in the Philippines. This magnificent structure has withstood numerous trials, including devastating fires and earthquakes, leading to its reconstruction in baroque style during the 1700s.
A Gentle Pause at Basilica de Santo Niño, Cebu After our appointment at PSA Colon, we took a short walk to the Basilica de Santo Niño. It was my husband and kids’ first time there—a quiet milestone in our family’s journey. We didn’t stay long, just lit a candle and offered a silent prayer. But even in that brief moment, the place wrapped us in peace. A sacred stop, simple and grounding.
Ernelyn O — Google review
Visiting the Minor Basilica of the Holy Child in Cebu was a heartwarming experience for me. The moment I stepped inside, I felt a quiet sense of peace. Seeing the image of the Santo Niño up close filled me with awe—it’s amazing to think how many people have prayed here for hundreds of years. I spent a few moments in silence, just praying and thanking God for everything. It felt comforting, like I was being embraced by His presence. Watching other people light candles and whisper their prayers also reminded me how faith connects us all, no matter where we come from. That short visit left me feeling lighter and more grateful. It was a gentle reminder to trust more, pray more, and appreciate the blessings I often take for granted. Simple, but very meaningful.
Dong H — Google review
A beautiful and sacred place filled with history and devotion. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the devotion to the Santo Niño is truly moving. A must-visit when in Cebu!
Jason T — Google review
Sto. Niño De Cebu is one of the best tourist spot here in cebu city. But more importantly, you need to respect the culture of cebu because its one of sacred church not a public tourist spot. Additionally, when a priest is talking please refrain yourself taking a pictures. To show a respect is not a demand but to show what kind of person you are in a strange place.
Tibas B — Google review
arrived there mid-day, crazy hot outside but weren't allowed in (must wear long pants). big crowd outside more like a market than a church. the architure has no special design or size & entice no admiration. we left after 5 min.
MisterD-Ly A — Google review
During my recent visit to the Basilica del Santo Niño with a friend, we experienced a deeply troubling incident. A stray black dog — which I had earlier seen being mistreated by a guard — bit my friend inside the church. There were multiple witnesses, including three guards and a nun. I had to step in to get the dog to release her, and my friend was bleeding significantly. What was most upsetting was not just the attack itself, but the response. No one offered assistance. No first aid kit was brought, no one inquired about her condition, and no staff member took initiative to help or even show concern. As a sacred and historic site, I would expect far greater care and professionalism from those responsible for visitor safety. The lack of empathy and preparedness we witnessed was alarming and disappointing. I sincerely hope the Basilica leadership takes this as a wake-up call to review their safety measures, provide proper training to staff, stock each guard and guard station with a first aid kit, and ensure compassion is shown to anyone in distress. Visitors deserve to feel safe and cared for in such a revered place.
Tony A — Google review
Cool to see the oldest church in Cebu but very busy and lots of street sellers pestering you. Entrance is free but you have to be dressed appropriately- knees and shoulders covered or you won’t get inside
Olly S — Google review
This is the church of our beloved Santo Niño, a sacred place where we come to pray, reflect, and give thanks. Sometimes, you can come in and find it peaceful with no waiting time. But most of the time, it’s filled with many devoted followers, all gathered in faith and love. It’s a beautiful reminder of how deeply the Santo Niño is cherished by so many. Whether it’s quiet or crowded, the sense of peace and spiritual connection here is always strong.

Nice spot. Very beautifully created, the stairs, the flooring - it's all gorgeous and fits the ambiance. The view is super nice. But there is not much to do here but eat. I strongly recommend making this part of a larger day where you visit some of the other Great sites up this mountain like Sirao and Little Kyoto. That way you make better use of the long drive up here. Half hour looking at views, then get food, then go to the other sites!

Perfect spot for complete views of the city. Come in the evening to see the city lights in full effect. Place offers 360° views of the surrounding area (although is an additional cost to to the top floor for the full 360° view) There also lots of cafe's and restaurant to grab food or drinks. Can get to TOPS by taxi or bus. There is a bus route that leaves from IT park Cost is 200 peso's *in cash

Our family visit to Tops Cebu was a lovely escape into the hills. We arrived around 6 PM, riding their shuttle bus—fare was ₱200 per person, which already included the entrance fee. The ride was smooth and scenic, setting the tone for a peaceful evening. Though we missed the sunset and mountain views, the city lights more than made up for it. As night fell, Cebu sparkled below us like a sea of stars. For an extra ₱50 each, we stepped onto Sky360, where the view felt even more magical—quiet, vast, and full of wonder. It was a simple yet memorable moment for our family. If you're looking for a serene night spot with a panoramic cityscape, Tops Cebu is worth the visit.

Great views, many food places. Cozy specially at night. Nice to visit during the day if the sun's not out or weather is not too hot, more people come during the mid-afternoon and early evenings. Restaurants and bars open just before lunch. You may get dizzy coming here if you don't like winding roads but its worth it.

Tops Lookout Over the last few years the hills above Cebu City in the Visayas region of the Philippines has become the location of several tourist draws that provides the visitor a different, exciting experience as well as a respite from the congested, busy city life downtown. Among the popular destinations is an observatory deck that allows a panoramic view of the neighboring cities of Mandawe and Cebu and also the nearby Mactan Island. There are also eateries and cafés around.

To get here you need to have a private vehicle or you can pay for a motor driver to take you 200 per way. We did got drivers from JY. The drivers will wait for a charge, but we decided to risk it and try and find one so we didn't have to pay extra. We got their phone number in case there were no drivers. Overall the views were great at night, the pool for adults was small and more geared for kids. Fun to be in the water while seeing the view of Cebu. 100 entrance fee and 150 for swimming. We hiked across the swimming area to a stairs that go up to a plaza for even better views. It could be better maintained but overall a great experience!
Aaron C — Google review
The accommodation is really nice because it is child-friendly, with incredible views of the city, and is very comfortable. However, I do not like that their pool has limited time during the weekdays (only until 6PM max), and on the next day, it opens at 9AM, if I will only be checking in overnight, I am not able to enjoy their pool usage because of this limited time. Furthermore, I also don't like that children using the pool are still being charged even when the adults have an existing accommodation. I just hope they'd just include the children in the pool usage without any extra charge, and the pool is open until 10PM not just in the weekend but even in weekdays as well. Thank you.

Our team building was held in this location. The view is truly lovely and awe-inspiring. It seems to me that their preference is for their customers to schedule an appointment first, or rather, first come, first served. There are limited tables and chairs, especially during weekends. The entrance fee is both reasonable and affordable for all individuals. I think it was around 100-150 pesos. You have the option to bring your own food and grill it. Unfortunately, there is no overnight stay.

Me and my friends love it here so much because they would only charge you ₱150 for the entrance fee and then you can bring whatever you want already. Tables and chairs good for 4 is only for ₱300 and you can already have a full day access on the pool. There is no corkage fee so you can bring whatever food and drinks that you want. They also have a karaoke that all of the guests can use, you just need ₱5 for each song. They have a lot of bathrooms and toilets for you to change and their water is cold because its uphill! Its worth it. We really love it here!

Taboan Public Market is a bustling indoor market in Cebu, Philippines, offering a wide array of local produce and dried fish. The market operates 24 hours daily, providing an extensive selection of seafood at competitive prices. Local residents prefer shopping here for its affordable variety of meat, fresh and dried fish, vegetables, fruits, eggs, cooking oil, baking products, livestock and household items.
Had a really nice experience at Taboan Market in Cebu! It’s definitely the go-to place if you’re looking for authentic dried seafood like danggit and pusit. I was able to get a good deal and the quality was great — fresh, flavorful, and perfect for pasalubong. 🐟🦑 The vendors were friendly and helpful, and they even vacuum-sealed my purchases for travel. Just be ready for the strong buwad scent (which honestly adds to the charm of the place 😄). A must-visit if you’re in Cebu and want to bring home some local goodness!
Valine C — Google review
A PLACE FOR BUYING DRIED FISH, SQUIDS, LONGANISA, and Etc. Always check prices on other stalls. Cheap doesn't always mean it is a good buy. Also compare the quality of the goods before buying. Ask if your store of choice is providing vacuum sealed packaging. Otherwise, the smell of dried fish will be on your vehicle. Since the products are exposed for customer's inspection, it is likely that some insects or. even maggots will be on your packed danggit or pusit as well. Some part of the market is not clean. Some stalls have dogs lying on the walkway and flies are all over the place jumping from one tuyo to the other.
BRYANT I — Google review
This is the best place to shop for pasalubong items coming from Cebu. It houses various stores that sells dried seafood products mostly coming from Bantayan Island. Dried Danggit, Nokus (pusit), fish tapa, fish tocino, and many others are found here. Aside from this delicacy here, they are also selling ampao, masareal, dried mangoes, otap and many more.

Taboan Public Market is a bustling grocery market in Cebu City known for its wide selection of dried fish, as well as local pasalubong items and small pinkish chorizos. Some of the vendors are friendly and not pushy, offering reasonable prices, especially if you compare options and bargain slightly. The market operates daily from early morning until evening. This is one of the last stop of any people on vacation in Cebu to buy some Pasalubong. The area is clean and of course it is smelly, because of dried fishes available. They are also selling ampao, dried mangoes, otap and many more, but it is much better to buy in other places.

Don’t buy on the store in the middle (right side) before entering market area. Bought all dried goodies with INSECTS, MAGGOTS and MOLDS!!! Sobrang scammer! all my relatives are excited to have it in singapore. Supposed to be the highlight of the trip bringing these goodies to Singapore. all went to trash can! Hindi na nga ako nag bargain to support your business after buying all of the dried goodies and sweets. This is how you treat your customer! My karma din kayo

Although the smell of dried fish will stick to your clothing, this is still a good go-to place to buy affordable dried fishes and other pasalubong stuff.
Jox G — Google review
Taboan is one of the most famous pasalubong (souvenir) centers in Cebu City, Philippines. It’s best known as the “dried fish market” or danggit capital of Cebu. Here’s a quick guide about Taboan Market 👇 🛍️ What You’ll Find Dried seafood: Danggit (dried rabbitfish), pusit (dried squid), tuyo, and other dried fish varieties. Local delicacies: Dried mangoes, otap, rosquillos, peanut browas, mango chips, and chorizo de Cebu. Souvenirs: Keychains, shirts, bags, magnets, and other Cebu-themed items. Best Time to Visit Morning (6:00 AM to 10:00 AM) — freshest dried fish and less crowd. Avoid going at noon if you’re sensitive to strong smells. 🧤 Tips Bring extra bags or ziplocks — the smell of dried fish can cling to your clothes and things. Wear a face mask or cap if you’re sensitive to the fishy scent. Cash only — most stalls don’t accept cards or digital payment. Negotiate prices — vendors are usually friendly and open to haggling, especially if buying in bulk.

We had a wonderful experience with my family here! Different types of animals not only crocs but birds, eagles, snakes, python, turtle, turtoise, porcupine, warty pig, deer, ostrich, fishes, iguana. We witness the animal encounter at 3:30pm and able to touch Scarlett the python. Our favorite part is the crocodile feeding time where we see Lapu-lapu and Bruno fed with chickens. You can't get any fresher than live seafood older what you want. And they cook it right then. The best and freshest oysters that I have ever had.

Well, it’s believed that this is the first SM mall in Cebu City. We visited it on our last day of our trip, and it’s quite accessible because they have a Travellers Lounge where we could store our luggage. Additionally, the bus to the airport is just nearby. While we were waiting, we explored the mall and checked out the different tenants. We found quite a variety of shops and restaurants. Their food hall is aesthetically pleasing, and we decided to have lunch at Zubuchon. The food was delicious! After lunch, we indulged in some pampering. Jay got a foot spa, and I had my lashes done at Stylash. I loved it! The mall’s building is a mix of old and new. Some parts are still the original SM, while others have undergone renovations. Overall, it was a great experience. :)

It’s big and easy for foreigners to exchange money there! Ppl there are very helpful for foreigners! Lots of options at the food court but honestly ppl there have to pay more attention for the cleaning! Saw lots of small cockroaches crawling on food!

Amazing Mall, full of food shops, activities such as ice skating, ice bumper cars, VR, even massage and salon services etc. Great mall with everything you need

Nice to stay when you have more time before going to Mactan Airport, they have lounge for travellers where you can leave your luggages, My bus terminal is just beside SM City which cost for only 50 pesos going to Mactan airport

SM City Cebu, known as the first SM Mall outside the Luzon Island is a old but now renovated and modernized mall. Full of high quality stores, restaurants, and services in high quality designed to keep you entertained and satisfied. Yes even though there are other SM Malls that are better one of its advantages is that it has a Travelers lounge. Which is a benefit and the reason why I visited this place first during my second visit. And many stores are set to open here making SM more luxurious and more convenient. Rather a great place to visit for shopping and exploring.
Kyle_58 — Google review
The renovations are making it even more worth it to visit. Much better experience than 10 years ago. Update: Even more renovations have helped modernize the mall, making it much nicer than before. The many new stalls help with traveling with friends as well as socializing. Air conditioning here is also great, and the construction smell has died down.
The T — Google review
Beautiful Mall. Variety of delicious foods. Very clean and well kept. It’s a fun place to visit. Can come here to do some shopping, or have fun in their game room. Can even get a haircut. Or watch a movie in their cinema. It’s a pretty big mall with 3 floors and so much to do.

Cebu I.T. Park, formerly known as Asiatown I.T. Park, is a prominent 27-hectare economic zone in Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines. It serves as a major business district and hub for the BPO industry, housing multinational companies and technology startups. The park offers modern infrastructure amidst landscaped green spaces, dining establishments, and retail outlets, creating a vibrant atmosphere for professionals and visitors alike.
A residential and business township that truly embodies a 24/7 lifestyle. The business district is one of the most modern and definitely the busiest in Cebu City. Home to various IT BPM offices, the nearly-fully occupied township is a hub that never sleeps and is fully equipped to provide convenience and comfort for workers and residents alike. It has its own mall with a good-sized supermarket and with it's 24-hour transport terminal, it provides ease of transfer to various points of the whole Cebu Province. It's a great base if you're travelling due to this and its central location. Modern comforts provided by modern establishments around like restaurants catering different cost range, hotels within the estate and along its periphery provide great and comfortable accommodations. CITP is also a hub for coffee lovers as it hosts a multitude of international coffee chains and local brands.

Nice place and great location. The condominium was perfect spot and great place to stay because it is accessible to the mall and to Jollibee, Chow king, 7 eleven, bakery, pharmacy and etc. I recommend to everyone the IT Park is the best place to stay or do shopping.

Definitely the safest place in Cebu. I feel just as safe walking around at 3am as I do at 3pm. There are several 24 hour restaurants here and lots of security. You can have a dental appointment, lunch, a walk and have a drink. Everything you need is here. I love living here!

Late review, but really had fun here. unfortunately your not allowed to bring your own action cameras but they will take photos of you and give you certificates of completion after the experience.

The sky experience is so good. Kuya guide and the photographer was so nice. They will help you to pose and make the most of the experience. Ate reception, too, was so friendly. Cons: please dont do the dinner. I paid 1400 with dinner and the food was so not worth it. I encourage to eat outside. Kuya waiter missed to inform me that juices were not included. I had to pay additional 200 for just a small calamansi juice. Food is subpar, too. Didnt even put an effort to heat the lumpia, pork asado, siomai and rice. It was so hot, too. I chose to seat infront of the single aircon they have.

Excellent view of Cebu. Worth the money. Completed the zip line and the coaster. Could do with a bit of a clean and tidy. Bit grubby. Windows need a good clean. Maintenance required for the binoculars.

Good to experience. But not too adventurous. All are simple. We tried 3- Skywalk, Edge Coaster and Zipline. Skywalk for photography good. Zipline is very short distance. Edge Coaster is thrilling. These people are business minded, they don't allow any of your gadgets and charge you for photos. Overall review is ok Good & Value for money.

Go-karting venue
Cebu Kartzone is a thrilling go-kart venue in Cebu that offers an adrenaline-pumping experience for families and friends. Children who can reach the kart's accelerator are welcome to join in on the fun, making it an inclusive activity for older kids. The venue provides solo rides for 8 laps at an affordable price, with the option of tandem rides available as well.
WE WENT SPEEEEEEEEEED (i got the orange? or was that yellow? to slow down, i forgot smh) AND IT WAS SOOSOSOSOOO FUNNNNNNN! you get to release your energy and its very nice. WORTH IT ANG 600 pesos for 8 laps esp if you’re with your friends. would defo come back 😼😸
Peaches P — Google review
Premium go karts are super fast and fun - not sure how quick the regular karts are in comparison. Staff are very friendly and kind too. The track itself unfortunately has a lot of potholes which means you can’t go as fast without being in danger. If they fix up the potholes, would be a 5 star rating. Price as of June 2025 is $850 PHP for 8 laps for premium or $600PHP for single seater regular karts. Note there is $25 PHP fee for balaclava rental.
Jeremy W — Google review
Nice karting experience. Friendly attendant thought the karts are a bit rundown and old, best if they upgrade or refurbish the rides. Overall, still love the exhilarating moment.
Henry C — Google review
We went go-karting three times because we enjoyed it. The go-karts were in good condition and drove fast. Lots of fun! Need to pay 50php for the bonnet or mask but need to return it, so it's better to bring if you have one to save money. Best experience ever
Mierael O — Google review
The karts are run down. Broken plastic fenders and metal bars sticking out, maybe for the rate they charge it would be nice to keep them maintained. 8 laps for 650, makes you want to drive slower. If you drive fast, you get less time on the track. That's kinda lame. They should offer alternative time-based options even if the cost is higher. There's just no good incentive to spend more money there for a lengthy day of fun. Also got scammed on the balaclava rental, I thought it was purchased, like socks at amusement parks. Just include the damn thing into the 650 peso fare. Anything to squeeze out extra pesos. Explains why no one was here Track master was nice. Professional attitude. But it seems poorly managed. Karting is fun, and I'd be willing to spend more money to stay longer, but the pay per lap is lame.
Nick P — Google review
8.5/10 Eight laps just aren’t enough. I really hope that in the premium package, they’ll allow custom lap counts soon. The ₱850 fee isn’t really worth it considering you only get to drive for eight laps. As for the karts yeah, I almost died! It feels like they never do maintenance. The steering is so stiff that it’s hard to turn the kart, even in the premium ones. I guess it depends on which kart they give you. It’s definitely fun, but the price and the limited laps make it not quite worth it.
Louie J — Google review
20221014 First legit GoKart experience 🏎 Finished the 8 laps in just 20 minutes. Hope they extend up to 10-15 laps coz we paid Php 500 for it. Or they just resume their weekday happy hour promo. Anyway, I had fun driving even though the steering wheel was kinda heavy to turn plus the road isn’t that flat at all times. I enjoyed speeding up. Haha.
Leza A — Google review
Our second visit was better than what we have last 2018. The staffs were nice and the price is affordable. For only 500 pesos (475+25 for the masks) you can have 8 laps. We enjoyed it here.

Island travel and tours is a company that specializes in island hopping tours and can help you explore the many beautiful little islands surrounding Cebu. These tours usually include a delicious lunch where fresh mango is almost certainly involved.
found Cebu Island Tours by looking at multiple reviews at FB and TA. I contacted them and Lee responded immediately. I was looking for an agency that could arrange a tour for two families traveling together (Dec 2017). Lee provided us complete details and we ended up using them for all our pick ups and drop offs from the Cebu Airport to the hotel and 3 full day full tour packages including the Bohol Countryside, Oslob Whale Shark and Mactan Island Hopping. Each day we had a different set of drivers but that did not matter. They were all very good, came on time and were courteous. The tour guides on all the trips were also excellent. Lee responded to my multiple emails, messenger and text messages promptly and providing all the info. In summary, our entire stay at Cebu was very well coordinated and I wish to Thank Lee and Cube Island Tours for a job well done.

The mall itself boasts an impressive selection of clothing shops, gadget stores, beauty parlors, and various dining options like Denny's and TGI Friday's.
Very busy place,a lot of people big mall but fun window shopping

In contrast to the white noise background of the other shopping malls, Robinson's Galleria is very relaxing to shop with their spacious amenities and natural decors and there's less crowd. The wifi is fast too though accessing it the next time would need extra charge. There a lot of shops and the comfort rooms are very clean.
Christian A — Google review
5 stars as they are really a pet friendly mall. No need for registration of pets, you just have to make sure that you are securing your pet and the safety of other mall goers. They have a big store for Handyman too! The grocery store is stocked woth lots of international items that are hard to find in other malls. The place is also below Robinsons hotel so it is a great plus for their guests. The movie cinema that they have is also well maintained and there are lots of restaurants too choose from here.
Cheng H — Google review
This mall is convenient because it is not too crowded, the stores are not too far apart, the area is not too wide yet there is still a good selection of stores and specialty shops. Denny's and TGI Friday's are beside each other, to their right are Starbucks, Pancake House and a ramen shop. There are more restaurants on the 2nd floor like Gerry's. The kids can freely run around on the scenic basements. It's where the spacious restrooms are also located. The management invested in making this mall standout by the putting in plenty of plants inside. This mall also allows small pets.

Big shopping mall in the port area of Cebu. They have a wide variety of clothing shops, gadget stores, a beauty parlor and restos. Big grocery store in the ground floor. Spacious parking spaces. Very near the port terminals. Public vehicles are abundant and plying to and from the place. The mall provides a shuttle bus to and from Robinsons Fuente on an hourly basis. Not crowded. Peaceful and very clean.

Plaza Independencia in Cebu is a historic square and popular community hangout, offering an open grassy field for picnics and recreation. The park features attractive green spaces, thick trees, and plenty of sitting areas for visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll or relax with family and friends. Reopened in 2011, this significant historical site dates back to the 1600s when it was known as Plaza de Armas, serving as a military training ground.
Nice outside space near the port area. There are many benches and green spaces. On a less scorching hot day, it would be nice to bring your lunch and have a picnic. There were many groups of young adults (teens) dancing all over the plaza. It was like K-Pop central. Nice place to walk and look around while in the port area.

Kid's playground has not been open for years now since they can't do simple proper maintenance on it. Or it could be that they just don't want to constantly clean the place up after the kids have finished playing on 'em.

It was calm and quiet when we got there. The place will close at 10:00 PM. You can park your motorcycle inside, near the benches. There are lights since it is the Christmas season. Good place to hang out with your loved one.

It was a perfect place for family bonding ever since. I’ve witnessed its transformation since I was a kid and now that I have a kid. Not all of its story were great but all are worth it. This place is somehow the heart of the City or of Cebu (for me). It carries so much memories to everyone either locals or foreigners.
