The Archaeological Site of the Tombs of the Kings is a vast necropolis dating back to the 3rd century BCE. It boasts underground tombs that were meticulously carved out of rock. The site offers a glimpse into ancient burial practices and architectural ingenuity. Additionally, visitors can explore nearby attractions such as the Medieval Castle, waterfront restaurants, ice-cream shops, cafes, and bars with stunning views across the water and harbor.
Overall a very beautiful archaeological site. Please be careful as pavements and steps are very very uneven ( I should know: I ended up at the ER!). Wear comfortable shoes and pay extra attention. Beautiful beach too!
D. E — Google review
Went just after opening as it was lovely temperature. Easy walk from our hotel. Cheap entry fee & bought a guide book. Bought tickets there. Such a wonderful historic place to walk. Best to wear good footwear as large stones, steep steps. Spent a good morning here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When Dead Kings Flex Harder Than Your Holiday Villa Right, so you come here expecting some dusty old tombs carved into rock (which, fair enough, they are), but what you actually get is nature absolutely showing off whilst ancient history does its thing in the background. The archaeological site itself is properly impressive—massive underground chambers, intricate columns, and the kind of craftsmanship that makes you wonder how they managed without power tools and a decent coffee break. 🏛️ But here's the plot twist: the landscape steals the entire show. The way the golden stone contrasts with that ridiculously blue Mediterranean sky? Chef's kiss. The wild herbs growing between ancient stones? Pure poetry. You'll find yourself spending more time staring at the horizon than reading the information plaques (guilty 🙋). Top tips: Come early morning or late afternoon for the best light and fewer crowds. Wear proper shoes—it's rocky and uneven. Bring water and a hat because shade is scarce. And for the love of Zeus, don't rush through it. This place deserves at least an hour of your time, preferably two if you fancy some contemplative sitting on 2,300-year-old steps. 📷 Absolutely worth every cent of the entrance fee. Ancient royalty knew how to pick a view. 👑
Tom D — Google review
It's okay. We got some nice pictures. I quite like history/culture, but we walked all the way there and then walked around the huge site, so we were knackered before even starting. We didn't see the bus that takes you there until we'd explored the area a bit more, so I'd recommend looking for the tomb of kings bus if you don't have a transfer or bringing a card for a taxi, if you're not staying nearby. As others have said, they're not tombs of kings: they're tombs of officials, which was a bit disappointing to be honest. There are plaques dotted around to look at, and the map is perfectly readable (despite what others have said). However, you do have to buy the booklet for it. I think for the two of us the tickets and booklet came to about 10 euro. There's an early exit facing towards to beach, but I'm not entirely sure where it leads since we didn't take it. Final warning for the ladies - don't make the mistake of wearing flats and a long dress, if you visit. The area has lots of small rocks and stairs in and out of the tombs.
Jo — Google review
Very spaced out and hot, but beautiful ruins if you're into seeing them. The underground pillars, as I have photographed , were so beautiful. Not overly crowded with people, especially since it's spacious with a lot to see
Kyle F — Google review
A great spot for people into Roman and Hellenistic history and that are also interested in archaeology. They have information plots all around the grounds. Bring water and a hat as the grounds are huge. Heaps of onsite parking, clean toilets available, 2,50€ entry fee pp.
Melesande C — Google review
Impressive archaeological site showcasing ancient tombs carved into rock. A must-visit for history lovers! The area is vast, so wear comfortable shoes. Highly recommend downloading an audio tour guide to better understand the history and significance of the site.
Parul A — Google review
Very nice place, well worth the visit and the entrance fee is extremely reasonable. Would suggest to go early morning or late afternoon as it gets very hot.

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark is the largest water park in the Paphos area, offering a unique natural landscape for aquatic adventures. Located in Kato Paphos, it is easily accessible by car or local bus. The park features high-speed water slides, a lazy river, wave surge pool, swimming areas, and a kids' water-play section. Visitors can also enjoy food and beverage options spread throughout the park within lush tropical surroundings.
Great fun for all the family. 11 of us went for the day and there was something for all ages. It wasnt packed, nothing was more than a 5 minute queue. Everyone is given a wristband which you can purchase anything in the park and then you pay when you leave. Ice cream was nice but can't comment on the rest as I only had time for a bottle of water and ice cream. Great day out.
Carly R — Google review
We visited this park with the kids, and overall it’s a great place with plenty of attractions. I really liked their payment system — you get a wristband with a barcode, so you don’t need to carry your wallet or phone to buy drinks or food. Very convenient. However, there’s one big downside — the park gets very crowded. There are a lot of lounge chair areas, which means the park can hold a huge number of people, and because of that, the lines for rides become very long. We arrived about 30 minutes before opening, so for the first hour and a half we were able to enjoy the rides with no lines. But after that, it stopped being fun, and by 1:00 PM we had already left.
Dan O — Google review
Online tickets get a 10% Discount. Went on Friday, towards end of September, no queues, variety of slides for all ages, wave pool, lazy river was the best 😁 (you can use the laziness river multiple times back to back! in comparison with other water parks, where you have to get out, in order for the next person to go). The toilets/ changing rooms / showers are in best condition and very very Clean! You don't need to carry your wallet (put your valuables in locker) they just scan whatever you consume on your bracelet and pay before leaving. They also have all necessities for water parks selling at good prices: slippers, bathing suits, flip flops, towels etc. Food was ok, a little bit pricey and you had to go one place for burger, another place to order your fries, or another for gyros, their portions are a bit small , for a child you need €15 for burger + fries + 1 soft drink, for an adult around €20 to be full. Not allowed to bring any snacks with you, as per their policy. I would definitely go again, but eaten well beforehand as for a group of 4-5 people, you can easily spend €150 on food and water. Nearly forgot! All the staff at their slides or food places are very polite, respectful. A++++
Sabina B — Google review
Fantastic day , everything is close and more than easy enough to get around, we have a 2 year old and 5 year old definitely lots for all ages, the price of food in this water park is expensive, we had a picture at the beginning which was you pick up on the wall of pictures on your way out for €10 I think that's a good price for the memory of a enjoyable day, all the staff were fantastic, the life guards were very safety minded which was great to see , all in all a great fun day .
Craig B — Google review
Absolutely fabulous day of family fun. There are slides for every age group and for thrill seekers. Very clean and tidy, only draw back is that the food and drink is very expensive
Yvonne G — Google review
A really well-run waterpark, with loads of helpful and friendly staff, and plenty of vigilant lifeguards. Lots of different slides to keep everyone entertained. Recommend buying tickets in advance for 10% off, and there are occasionally 20% off voucher codes to be had. Waterpark facilities/food is cashless... payment using wristband barcode. Recommend pre-purchasing a "food-voucher" as this gives 20% discount too. Food and drink prices aren't too expensive... and food quality is good. Receipt attached for our costs. Have a great time there!
Tim — Google review
An absolute must-visit in Paphos! Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark is easily one of the best attractions in the area — clean, well-organized, and full of fun for all ages. The slides are amazing, from adrenaline-packed rides to relaxing lazy rivers. What really stood out was how friendly and attentive the staff were — safety is clearly a top priority, and they make sure everyone’s having a great time. The park is very family-friendly, with plenty of shaded areas, good food options, and short waiting times even on busy days. Everything is spotless, and the water feels perfectly maintained. We spent the whole day there and didn’t want to leave! If you’re visiting Paphos, don’t miss it — it’s the perfect mix of excitement, relaxation, and great service. Highly recommended!
עידן א — Google review
It is suitable for kids above 120cm and to age up to 25. After that, most things are for much younger *than you*. 6 slides are extreme enough for adults. You can get 7Eur discount online, search for frog. Ticket does not include a 5eur locker for valuables. Also food is not included. No warm water for showering. No saunas. Sunshades are positioned incorrectly and do not protect from sun.

Castle
Paphos Castle, originally a Byzantine fort, has a rich history of destruction and reconstruction. Over the years, it has served as a prison and warehouse for salt. The castle stands at the edge of Paphos harbor and is one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. It hosts various events throughout the year, including operas during the Paphos Aphrodite Festival.
Paphos Castle is a small but interesting historic site right by the harbor. It doesn’t take long to visit, but the views from the top are beautiful, especially at sunset. Worth a quick stop while walking along the promenade.
Yara B — Google review
Being so closed to the Archeological site, it’s a must. 2,5 euros per person to go in. Some steps, no lift available, not wheelchair friendly. You’ll spend maybe 10 minutes here, just to admire the views (not a lot to see besides that). It’s still worth it for the views. There’s an excellent ice cream shop nearby.
André M — Google review
Nice little place to visit on the harbour. Entrance fee was a few euros each and kids were free. Good vantage point across Paphos. One of the many treasures to explore here
David F — Google review
I'm afraid I have to disagree about this castle. Aside from the architecture itself, there was really nothing inside. And access is restricted to the platform only, with no possibility of visiting the tower. Considering the entrance fee is the same as for other castles in Cyprus (2.5 euros), I believe more could be done to enhance the visitor experience. Perhaps by adding historical displays or providing more information about Paphos and the castle’s significance.
NANA D — Google review
Restricted access and took us less than 2 minutes to walk up the stairs and around the top. €2.50 each Views were stunning. We went up for the sunset BUT they kick you out at 4:30pm (20 minutes before prime sunset time) Probably not worth the money but go once and then you’ve seen it!
Sophie L — Google review
Walked around the area and captured some beautiful pics and waited for the sunset. Pafos (Paphos) Castle (Medieval Fort) was originally a Byzantine fort built to protect the harbour, and was rebuilt by the Lusignans in the 13th century. The girl statue in this area depicted is the "Sol Alter" by Cypriot artist Yiota Ioannidou, located in Paphos, Cyprus. It represents Aphrodite, the goddess of love
Arch S — Google review
A little overrated - there are better to see in Cyprus. Whilst the architecture itself is interesting, there isn't really much to see inside. The entrance fee (2.5 euros) is a bit steep for what is a 10-minute visit at best.
Norm P — Google review
You only need around 30 minutes to view the two floors of Paphos castle. There's not much to see inside except the history of the castle at the entrance, but you do get nice views of the Paphos harbour. Entrance fee is 2.50 euros.

Ancient Ruins
Kato Pafos Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980, is a sprawling complex that encompasses remnants from various historical periods. This includes prehistoric sites, medieval structures, and Roman-era monuments. The park is renowned for its well-preserved mosaic floors depicting scenes from Greek mythology, found in several Roman villas within the site.
If you’re in Cyprus, this place is an absolute must. From stunning Roman mosaics to the Odeon theatre, Agora, ancient villas, and sacred sites — every step here takes you deeper into the island’s ancient past. We spent hours exploring the park, and it felt like walking through a massive open-air museum. The mosaics alone are worth the visit — especially the House of Dionysus, where colors and details have survived nearly 1700 years! The Odeon was another highlight — a small Roman amphitheatre with perfect acoustics and incredible atmosphere. It’s quiet, peaceful, and almost surreal to sit where Romans once gathered for music and theatre. ✅ Useful tips: • Go early in the morning — by midday it gets very hot and there’s little shade. • Wear comfortable shoes — paths are rocky and uneven. • Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen. • There are water vending machines placed around the park — super helpful!
Oksana O — Google review
Amazing Archaeological Site! Some of the best and abundant examples of roman mosaics ive ever seen. We went in August and it was hotter than hell so be prepared for the heat as there is very little shade and it's a very large site! Wasn't very busy, very cheap entry and plenty of free parking!
Damian C — Google review
Great place lots to see, very hot but the sea breeze helps. We spent approx 1 hour. If you can imagine it’s like an whole village has been discovered. The mosaic’ s have been well preserved and are stunning in the level of detail. What would be good is for a vitual/3d model was produce to bring the place to life as it would have been like I have seen on some documentaries. Take water.
Hayley C — Google review
Absolutely amazing place, if you like history and you are in Paphos you have to come here so many things to see that I recommend at least couple of hours preferably in the morning because of the heat and sun. Tickets are so cheap less than 5 euros and you get to see so much, from mosaics, ruins and entire amphitheater even a lighthouse to beautiful view of the coastline, definitely a must see in Paphos.
Kol2388 — Google review
This is an amazing place, the scale of the building remains and mosaics are incrdible. I had no idea it was so big when we paid a minimal amount to enter. The mosaic examples were preserved so well.
Emma T — Google review
Excellent site. Some extraordinary mosaics. Combine here with a visit to the archaeology museum as well which has some beautiful and ancient artifacts
Bill C — Google review
A large park, no shade, bring water. Spend 2-3 hours there. You will see beautiful mosaics!
Ferenc S — Google review
Huge, beautiful park with a lot to see if you're into ruins. If you're not, you might want to skip it as it's a lot of walking and very hot!

The Archaeological Site of Nea Paphos is a sprawling area filled with ancient ruins, including tombs, villas, and a fortress. The site also boasts well-preserved Roman mosaics depicting ancient mythology. Visitors can explore the Medieval Castle and enjoy stunning views of the water and harbor. The area is bustling with waterfront restaurants, shops, and yachts, creating a vibrant atmosphere that blends seamlessly with its rich historical significance.
Wonderful place. Be sure to apply sunscreen before coming and bring a hat and maybe a portable fan. It can get very hot, even in the early morning. Every mosaic has a short explanation in English and some even in braille. The mosaics seem to be very well kept. I would advise to read a little about the place before coming (Lonely Planet’s guide for exemple has some useful information), so that you already know a little about the place before coming. There are no audio guides but at the entrance there’s a QR code to download an app. Also, toilets by the entrance machine, that were clean. Also, some vending machines available and a fresh bottle of water is only 50 cents. The entrance fee for each adult is 4,5 euros. Highly recommended, and very close to the main hotels and resorts. We came on foot but there’s a big free parking lot nearby, with some shade.
André M — Google review
A must-go! Very well-kept site with amazing mosaics, very reasonable ticket price, clean toiletries, vending machines and adjacent bus stop. All very convenient even in a scorching hot day. Partially accessible for wheelchair users
D. E — Google review
If you just want to look at a mosaic and push off, allow an hour. If you are actually interested in history and will read the information available allow at least 3 hours. We were there for 2.5 and only left because we were hungry but didn't get around it all. Probably boring for little kids. A well presented piece of history
Jeremy S — Google review
Beautiful setting with a stunning view of Aphrodite’s Rock. There’s parking nearby and a small tunnel that leads to the beach. One gift shop at the entrance for souvenirs. Showers are available, though a bit tricky to figure out. A short hike up to the rock offers an even better panoramic view — totally worth it!
Parul A — Google review
A beautiful site with beautiful scenery. The mosaics are quite breathtaking. Parking is just across the road and is free. To get in to the site it is €4.50 but it is worth it. We took in some snacks and water/soft drink but we were very mindful of where we were. There is the odd bin in some areas for any rubbish. A very clean and tidy area and I would definitely suggest going for a visit 😁
Juliet T — Google review
If you like history and Roman things this is for you. Fairly cheap at €4:50 per person for a UNESCO site. The site was huge! We didn't get all the way round so another visit in the future may be an option. Well worth visiting.
Mathew T — Google review
Not checking the opening times before we visited, we accidentally arrived just as they were closing. However the security team were very kind and still allowed us to see the theatre for 10 minutes and didn't charge us. It was a rushed visit but we thoroughly enjoyed stopping by nonetheless. A well looked after archeology site and fantastic view of the coast.

Must see in Cyprus! I suggest to visit in the late afternoon, so it is not so hot&sunny, plus - all pictures are much better is so „golden hour”, when the sun is going down👌 Very good prepared, with nice app - so you can listen to audio guide at every point. Take a bottle of water with you, it’s 1-2 hours walk (no rush😊)

The Lighthouse Beach Snack Bar is a lovely place to stop off for a drink or some delicious food on the beautiful Faros beach in Paphos. Right by the coastal path, its an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the views while you take in some great music. The snack bar offers excellent service and great prices so you can indulge in all your favourite foods without breaking the bank. We found it really enjoyable and would definitely recommend a visit!
Great place for a beer and good reasonably priced food .. and beer come to that . Right next to the beach with a Carpark nearby. Right on the path into Paphos and Coral bay . Showers and changing rooms for swimmers . The beach here is only small , but even when it is a little rough it is still safe . Bit of a current heading west .. so pay attention to that . Fantastic place to watch the sunset , when the weather is in it .
Jon R — Google review
Arrived around 9 but kitchen had closed. This was a shame. The sun going down was stunning. Pleasant service. We are going to spend the day on the beach tomorrow as the facilities look excellent for chilling. Loungers at a good price and hreat shower area. Volleyball available too and a lighthouse. Not clear if this can be visited but is on the list.
Simon F — Google review
Great set up here. Nice sandy beach. The waves are a little heavy but there is an area that is easier for children. Also a children's play area. Life guard station too. The snack bar does excellent and reasonably priced food.
David H — Google review
Great place with lots of options (cold espresso and frappe very good for the hot weather). Also very kind staff and nice ambience overall! 😜
Alexandru P — Google review
Came here to enjoy the beautiful sunset with a fantastic frozen cocktail (Mango Daquiri) & a great pizza. It was a great experience, super speedy service & a good range of cocktails & food available in the day time. In the evening they only do pizza which was fine for a glorious sunset meal, recommend it.
Barbara D — Google review
A good selection of snacks and drinks. It's a perfect place to stop if you're doing the lighthouse walk from the harbour or vice versa for refreshments. Does a really great cheese and tomato toasties with chips for €6. Bargain! Some sheltered seating and a children's play area as well.
Rob P — Google review
Fantastic atmosphere & lovely staff , we had pizzas they were delicious. We didn’t manage them so we took rest back with us . I had an amazing cocktail ( the lighthouse) definitely go back & great value. Perfect setting to watch sunset
Maria C — Google review
The beach was pleasantly quiet whilst I was there on 20/21 Nov 18, it’s a 15 minute walk from the harbour. The snack bar has a small area inside & some seating outside. The large fresh orange juice was excellent €3, the chips were surprisingly crispy and tasty. They also sell ice creams. Back for an October 19 visit, beach busier but still plenty of space, temperatures in the 80F ☀️

Beautiful and authentic handmade products. Different kind of products from pottery to wine selections, spices and honey. It gives you a much better feeling buying products than from the plastic market nearby. Prices are good for self-made goods and staff is nice, helpful and explains a lot about the place. Some piece are made directly in the workshop. There is a cafe as well to sit down and watch the craftsman. Definitely go there and get quality products with a responsible feeling to the local people

Nice collection of Cyprus goods for taking home . Traditional products made here , from loom work , ceramics , glassware, and all types of Jams and honeys . All our reasonably priced and they all get wrapped , if necessary, in bubble wrap, to keep them safe . It’s a good little walk to get their passing other interesting shops .

Amazing place to come if you’re interested in seeing local arts such as fused glass, pyrography, leather making and pottery. I definitely recommend booking to take part in a pottery class with local potter kostas, with a vast knowledge of pottery and the arts he will guide you through the process of using a pottery wheel to make a one of a kind piece you can take home!
Roxanne T — Google review
This is run by local people who make the things sold. They do making lessons like pottery wheel classes. There is art, jewellery, pottery, fused glass, teas and herbs, toiletries and more. I hope it does well as much of the old town has closed down and been replaced by less local businesses. Please support it.

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Nestled in the lush surroundings of Pegeia, Cyprus, Pafos Zoo is a delightful destination that will change your perception of zoos. Originally a private bird collection, it opened to the public in 2003 and has since expanded into one of Europe’s largest collections of exotic animals. Visitors can marvel at an impressive variety of species, including vibrant parrots and intriguing venomous snakes. The zoo offers a unique experience for all ages with its well-maintained habitats and friendly staff.
Such a lovely zoo. You can see how much the staff love and care for the animals. But my God, visiting in August, go early like we did, was sooo hot. But thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals. Paid 50 euros for a group of 4 of us to feed the elephant, was incredible as I personally LOVE elephants. Then 5 euros each to feed the lemurs, this was an absolute treat, they all jumped onto you as you entered the enclosure but they are so gentle. There are many species of birds to see, big cats like the white lion and beautiful tigers. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here, would have stayed all day but was too hot. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful day at Paphos Zoo. We saw the parrot show twice. The kids had a lot of fun feeding the lemurs. They also fed the goats, sheep and pony. It was hot, but there are plenty of trees for shade. I didn't like the animal cages. Too many metal bars - like a prison. My recommendation is, if possible, to replace the bars with glass or more modern cages that would provide better visibility to the animals
Ilinka I — Google review
Huge entry fee for what it offers (17.5€) - even if there's a plethora of animals to visit, most are barely visible through the small gap metal fences and are distanced from the walkways. A lot of signs with the animal name info are missing. This zoo specializes in birds, and is obvious when you catch the free bird show that has its schedule displayed at the entrance. It was pretty great, as they take good care of them, had them do cool tricks and sent positive messages about the environment within the 25 minute show +Plenty of reptiles and visible terrariums

A really good day out. Visited Pafos zoo with hubby and in laws. First impressions, from using the free transfer bus from Coral Bay, was great. It's a long, steep uphill road from the public bus stop and we wouldn't have made it without that minibus. Doesn't run weekends and is only a few a day, so check the times before you visit. Entrance price was great value compared to places we've been in the UK and we got some fish food to feed the fish just past the entrance as well. Everything is cash inside the zoo, but there's a machine at the entrance if you need one. Highlights were feeding the Lemurs which cost €5 and was brilliant. Also loved seeing the Rhino and Elephants, Giraffe, Lions, Tigers and Baboons. The reptile house was also fab and there's loads of birds too. We used one of the onsite refreshments stops for cold drinks and crisps and was again very impressed that the prices weren't sky high like similar UK sites. There is also a restaurant and museums on site and bird show and elephant experiences which we didn't check out. You could spend all day if you wanted to see everything but my in laws are getting on a bit and wanted to get back for a rest. All in all a really good day out, great value and well recommended for a break from the holiday norms.

Had a truly wonderful time. Booked online went on the zoo coach (picked up opposite our hotel). A definite must do. We even fed an elephant 🐘 (paid extra). Lovely zoo never been so up close to so many animals before. Great for adults & children.
Sharon L — Google review
The animals and birds are really well cared for which is so nice to see. The zoo’s pretty big and there’s lots to do with kids for a few hours. If you get there early can catch the bird show. We come here every season just to stroll around. The lemurs were just walking around by themselves which was so fun to watch. The elephant was really funny and there were so many flamingos and different kinds of birds. You could even feed the little goats. It was so cute! Totally recommend it!
StaceyBoron — Google review
The zoo was pretty to walk around and had lots of toilets and areas to stop to eat/drink. However, to be honest, many of the enclosures for the snakes, tiger and mandrill seemed a little too small. The tiger was pacing back and forth restlessly in a basic enclosure that lacked any enrichment to it, and the mandrill, which is a highly social pack animal, was housed completely alone. Additionally, a sign for one of the birds (I can't remember which one) said the bird lives in large flocks, so we were a bit puzzled as to why it was caged separately from the others. I'm hoping it was because it was for recovery or management reasons, but a sign explaining this would ensure visitors' understanding of the animals' welfare. Some of the lions also appeared to be bothered by lots of flies on their faces. The male especially was rubbing his face on the fence in an attempt to remove them. While I know flies can be an issue in the wild, zoos can take measures to reduce flies and make animals more comfortable by applying ointment that repels them to the affected areas. Overall, it wasn't a bad zoo by any means, but measures improving vistor communication and the welfare of the animals could make a significant difference. If funding is an issue, I think visitors would happily add donations to their visit to support new enclosures and treatments for animals, so please consider fundraising to support these enhancements. 🙏

Steak house
The Lodge in Paphos is a top-notch South African restaurant known for its exquisite fine dining experience and beautiful setting. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, the restaurant offers some of the finest steak and seafood dishes in Cyprus. The interior is stunning, adding to the overall ambiance. Located on 52 Poseidonos Avenue near Amathus Hotel, The Lodge specializes in charcoal-grilled, dry-aged steaks and also serves cocktails and drinks at reasonable prices.
This African restaurant is just a perfection. I could definitely rank it as one of the best restaurants in paphos. We loved the food from starters to the main dish. Don’t miss the halloumi starter. Extraordinary decorations, and atmosphere. waiters were attentive and friendly. This restaurant has really a good vibe.

Better to reserve a table because the restaurant is full in the summertime, the atmosphere is very good, the waiters and all the staff were very nice and welcoming. We opened with the garlic bread and the salad, was fresh and very tasty. After that we had the steaks that were amazing, exactly as requested. Very recommended restaurant. Suitable for families and friends/ dates.
Fadi I — Google review
Tried many times here, our favourite orders are sirloin and ribeye steak with Monkey gland sauce, you only have to order one portion of the sauce as it’s a lot, the cost is 5 euro / sauce, we came here for the first time the waiter didn’t tell us and we ordered two portions, we didn’t even finish one.
Xiuyu F — Google review
Came for the steak, left knowing I’ll come back for the steak. Superbly cooked, quality steak. Great wine choice, comfortable but not pretentious surroundings, chilled staff who know what they’re doing. Simply, if you like steak, this is a proper choice option. If you like an expansive menu, this covers that too.
Jock M — Google review
Really nice interior and decor, quick service, and the staff always looked out for you. Ribeye steak was alright, really nice garlic prawns, and the veg platter had a few different options, which was a nice change from generic veg platters elsewhere. Run out of kids' burgers, so we had to order nuggets instead, plastic plates, and cutlery for the shared starters for the little ones, which is a nice touch. Really busy and lively atmosphere. Some things on the menu may be a bit overpriced for what they are.
V T — Google review
Atmosphere, the decor and location were great. The starters were good but the main courses were all undercooked by the time we managed to get someone’s attention we showed them clearly how the steaks were undercooked, they agreed and the response was well, if we undercook them then we can always reheat them. Then took awhile by the time we didn’t want to eat any further, most of the staff are really lovely, but a bit all over the place as they were overbooked it felt, some of the food was delicious but not being able to enjoy main course and slow service meant we weren’t very happy. I do wish them good luck as it has the potential to be incredible.
Gideon G — Google review
Listen, this might be the best restaurant in Paphos. My husband and I ate here twice during our vacation in the summer of 2025. The first time, we had fish and seafood: the Wild Coast Whole Fish (sea bream stuffed with herbs and grilled) and the Cape Seafood Platter (a mix of tiger prawns, squid, mussels, and a piece of Nile perch—this dish could easily feed two people). The second time, we decided to try “the meats” and ordered the Lodge African Mezze, which includes a variety of salads and meats served one after another (check their menu for details). Although it’s listed as a meal for two, the portions are so generous that four people could be satisfied. If it’s just the two of you, don’t order anything extra. We made that mistake by also ordering the bone marrow (which was excellent, by the way), but it was simply too much food. Also, if you enjoy great wines, The Lodge won’t disappoint. We only tried the local house wines by the glass, but they were absolutely amazing.
Simina M — Google review
We returned to The Lodge for a birthday celebration. Once again, the service, friendliness and food was amazing. The restaurant was busy on a Thursday evening but the staff were very attentive and patient. The steaks were the best we had in Pafos by far and brought back memories of our trips to Capetown.

Tucked away in the vibrant Paphos harbor, Theo's Restaurant is a delightful haven for seafood enthusiasts and anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. This charming eatery boasts a menu filled with fresh seafood delicacies, all served in generous portions that are sure to satisfy your cravings. The ambiance is serene, enhanced by the gentle sounds of waves lapping against the shore and the picturesque blue and white decor that evokes a classic Mediterranean vibe.
Very pleasantly surprised. We wanted to have seafood for dinner but we were skeptical to eat somewhere that seems very touristy. We chose Theos because the atmosphere was lively and the staff seemed attentive to the guest that were already seated there. We were given a nice table in the centre of the peer side. We ordered all grilled octopus, prawns and calamari as well as the fried calamari. The tomato salad an order of pita a nice bottle of Chardonnay as well as the tarama dip which was very delicious. We had a wonderful seafood dinner at Theos this evening. We would 100% recommend eating here when visiting Paphos.

We really enjoyed our visit here – the food was tasty, and the grilled seabass is a must-try: juicy, flavorful, and the highlight of our meal. What makes the place special is Andreas, the charismatic host who warmly welcomes every guest – he’s the reason we decided to come in. Nestled just a stone's throw from the picturesque harbor of Kato Paphos, Hondros stands as the oldest traditional tavern in the area, having opened its doors back in 1951. This charming eatery is renowned for its warm hospitality and authentic Cypriot cuisine that captures the essence of local flavors. Guests can indulge in a delightful array of homemade dishes, including mouthwatering meze and succulent meats grilled to perfection over a charcoal oven.
This Taverna has been around since 1953, and has exceptionally nice atmosphere. We sat outside, under the pergola & vines, where there was a cool breeze. We could see the sea in the distance. The food was exceptionally good. My husband got the "Mix" - grilled meat with fries/chips. My daughter and I each got salads. My daughter had a brownie with ice cream for dessert, which she declared to be one of the best she had ever eaten. This is just far enough from the Promenade to feel traditional rather than touristy/commercialized. We were delighted with our experience here, and our server was great.

We went about 6pm, restaurant was quiet, the staff were helpful with questions we asked about the menu. The portions were small for the price. It’s expensive for what you get. Also be aware the meats on the coals all have bones in it. So the portions is even smaller as It’s more bone than meat.

We stumbled across this restaurant after getting off the bus & being put off by the prices somewhere else. This place was so cute inside and even had a live singer. We were skeptical whether this is just a tourist trap the they prove us wrong! The seafood is fresh, the service is top and the overall atmosphere is very nice. The only suggestion I have is probably on the fries as we love them crispy but otherwise we are very satisfied with our choices! 😉

Absolutely splendid! Very nice scenery and located just behind the commercial boulevard. We came in without reservation and there was still a table for two (September). Food was great. Greek Taverna style, mixed Mezze, which was a table full of happiness and flavors. The staff politely but firmly rejected our idea to order starters before the Mezze and he was right. The House of Dionysus is a well-preserved Roman villa in Paphos, dating back to the 2nd century. It is renowned for its vibrant and detailed mosaic pavements depicting scenes from Greek mythology. These mosaics are considered among the finest in the Mediterranean and are part of the larger Paphos Archaeological Site. Discovered by chance, the artwork showcases narratives of love and celebration with meticulous patterns and natural limestone colors.
Toilets available and clean, wheelchair routes around the park and into the exhibits, Brail signage on the mosaic exhibits, vending machines for much needed hydration. It is a very very beautiful and accessible glimpse into the past. If you get the chance i recommend it, it's a rare chance to touch a bit of ancient history with stunning town and sea views.

This place is full of interesting spots and I highly recommend reading the explanation on the website reachable with the QR code at the entrance. The remaining of the houses are amazing but don't forget to visit also the furthest spots, that often nobody reaches for fear of getting lost. I suggest bringing a hat, thick sneakers (I cut my feet with open shoes), and water bottles, but there are also vending machines inside.

🏛️ A true masterpiece of ancient artistry! The House of Dionysus houses some of the most spectacular Roman mosaics I've ever encountered. The protective covering is brilliantly designed, allowing you to view these incredible works while shielding them (and visitors!) from the elements. The mythological scenes are remarkably well-preserved, with vibrant details that bring ancient stories to life. Each mosaic tells its own fascinating tale, with the hunting scenes and geometric patterns being particularly impressive. The elevated walkways provide perfect viewing angles, and the lighting setup showcases every intricate detail. The informative panels help you understand the significance of each scene. A true highlight of Paphos - absolutely worth visiting! Pro tip: Take your time here, the attention to detail in these mosaics is extraordinary. 📸 Great photo opportunities without sun glare thanks to the coverage! ✨

This is the must visit part of the park if you come. The mosaics are amazing and in very good condition. The detail and condition of the mosaics make for breathtaking experience. The signs explain the mosaics well. You need to walk up stairs to access the mosaics so you won’t be able to see them if you are in a wheelchair. The stairs don’t have backs between each one so if you are blind or visually impaired it may be a bit hazardous as your feet can get caught as you go up. Definitely worth a visit!

Agia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa is a historical site in Paphos, Cyprus, featuring the ruins of a 13th-century church known for its colorful mosaic floor. The site was once home to one of Pafos' largest religious structures, with the remaining foundations showcasing the size and grandeur of the original church.
A fantastic and very understated location, we found it just walking past. Successive early Christian churches have been built on the same site, with mosaics and columns surviving from the original ones, and a very pretty small church still active. The boardwalk around it was closed but you can still get around the sides of the site and see it clearly.

Leonard S — Google review
Agia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa is one of the most beautiful and historically significant churches in Paphos, built amid the ruins of an early Christian basilica dating back to the 4th century AD. The present church, constructed in the 16th century, stands gracefully above the ancient remains, blending Byzantine, Gothic, and later architectural elements into a serene and atmospheric setting. What makes this site truly special is the Apostle Paul’s Pillar, located just outside the church. According to tradition, Saint Paul was flogged at this very pillar when he came to Paphos to spread Christianity — a deeply symbolic reminder of the city’s early Christian heritage. Visitors can stroll along wooden walkways above the extensive archaeological remains of the original basilica, admire well-preserved mosaic floors, and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the modern church, which still serves the local congregation today.

Municipal Baths Beach, located in the heart of Kato Paphos, is a unique concrete beach with wooden decks and piers for easy access to the sea. Ideal for swimmers! There’s a community of winter swimmers who are always there. There are changing rooms and showers available. Crystal clear waters, but deep, so you need to know how to swim. During the summer there’s a lifeguard as well.

The chef was leaving at 10:30 . Probably that’s why the food was bad . We ordered at 10:20 We couldn’t get what we wanted, and we were informed about it when we placed the order. The food was terrible, high prices with very low quality. I don’t recommend. The sea food platter it’s fried. No taste, no salt . The only good thing was the store bread and the beer. Read the bad reviews before coming here, we didn’t , unfortunately

The biggest restaurant disappointment during our stay in Paphos. We visited lured by positive reviews, what a mistake! Service appalling - 4 of us came, waiter brought 2 menu cards and handed them to kids. Obviously he thought they are paying… we had to get 2 more ourselves. Waiting time for making an order over 20 minutes - no one came to ask for drinks (and we were there in January!). Food is just awful - stifado are few chunks of tough meat in wine sauce but the only thing in common with wine is the color. Rice bland and hops cooked. Mussaka inedible - hint of cinnamon in this place means half of glass obviously. Apparently they cannot prepare properly national dishes. There are better places around to spend your money on much Berger food and service.

My favorite restaurant in Paphos for the third year in a row! The service is always warm and welcoming, the food is absolutely delicious (both the local and Italian menus), and the view and atmosphere are just perfect. Highly recommend!

The Archaeological Museum of the Paphos District is home to a diverse collection of archaeological artifacts spanning from the Neolithic period to the Middle Ages. The museum showcases items excavated from various sites in the Paphos district, offering insights into human activity in western Cyprus over centuries. Visitors can explore relics such as ceramic vessels, ancient pottery, jewelry, coins, stone sarcophagi, and Roman marble sculptures across five exhibition rooms and a yard.
A small but very interesting museum. Pleasant staff. Plenty to see and varied artefacts. Clay, metal, shell, glass, stone. You can pickup a lightweight folding seat to take with you as there is no seating inside. Information is in Greek and English. Small shop with replicas and books. FREE!

Amazing free museum. Very informative with english and greek descriptions. Only one other couple there when we went. It says closes at 4:30, we came at 3:30 and the security told us we only had 30 mins.

If you’re a fan of antiquity this is a must see in the Paphos area. Although there is little left of the tombs itself each site has a helpful QR code that points you to very detailed information. The site is large and exposed however, and there are no signposts so bear this in mind when you start exploring it in the fierce sun.

Small, free, only ground floor. Mainly typical Mediterranean pots and heads. Good descriptive texts. Reasonably priced but limited souvenirs.

A great FREE museum. Lots of interesting things to see. It is truly amazing that things that are thousands of years old ( upto 7000 BCE ) still survive. The craftsmanship and hard work of our predecessors is quite remarkable. Pre Hellenistic up to Roman times . Pottery , gold rings , coins and so much more . As I said is free , though they give you a ticket . In midweek out of season it is very quiet . It is about a half hour north from Leonidas bar restaurant.. which is a good place to stop too for a little libation.

Really interesting and the kids loved it. Great access, to enter and look around. Great app to download and talk you round in English voices. No shop, so take drinks

The bistro Tasty Fast Food & Lounge is a great place to get delicious food at a good price. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the portions are large so you can really enjoy your meal. Plus, they offer recyclable cutlery which is a nice touch!
Delicious! Affordable and tasty food served by friendly staff. They make sure you understand what is in the food and explain, even show you what goes in your meal. I even got to try a dip before they gave it to me (feta with spice). Both on shift were speaking very good English. It's clean and the staff works with gloves. Plenty of seating space as well. If I have to point a negative, that would be that the chips were a bit salty for me. I would definitely recommend this place for eat in or takeaway. I am very happy to stumble upon this place and stopping to order :) Thank you :)

I stopped by late at night when most restaurants were already closed, and I’m glad I found this place. The service was impressively fast, and I tried the chicken doner ... it was juicy and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even at that hour. The outdoor seating area is very nice ... though it would be better without the sticky cats hanging around. Overall, a great late-night option for a quick and satisfying meal.

Great food, super customer service and very friendly staff. I took a photos but they not great because I was rushing to eat that nice chicken doner😂😂🫡🫡✅✅ highly recommended and very close to our apartment.

A super delicious cheesburger. Meat tastes good, and fresh onions and other simple additions perfectly balance the whole. Also the bun is just on point, and buns are very often in other places the very elements that ruin it all in a burger. Here - 10/10. I will be coming back for more.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough we ate at loads of restaurants etc whilst away in Paphos for the week on the harbour (expensive but overrated) this little takeaway provides cracking coffee in the morning and better than restaurant standard food if ya looking for similar kebab/burgers etc our faves were the Skepasti, Beef Doner and pulled pork burger. Staff very friendly and always welcoming wish you guys were my local place at home BRAVO!!!

This is a review purely to say that I dragged my sorry arse down to tasty after an early evening of drinking, just to be told at 00:45 that they’re closed. Google says closes at 01:30. Sorry? Not on. I already had sweet visions of me dipping chicken nuggets into multiple sauces, that I normally buy sober. I won’t give a 1 star because I’ve never actually had the pleasure of eating here, and you might be fantastic before 00:45, however you did make my mum cry because she can’t get a doner kebab after 5 Long Island ice teas. Wish you well <3

Kefalos Beach Tourist Village is a serene seafront resort in Paphos, offering understated accommodations and a private beach area. Situated near historical sites like the Tombs of the Kings and Paphos Harbour, this beach hotel provides various recreational opportunities such as an indoor pool, outdoor tennis court, and health club. The property has received high ratings for cleanliness and user experience. Guests can enjoy amenities like tennis courts, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools.
I had a great experience at this hotel. If I return to the area for another vacation, I’d definitely consider staying here again. The staff provided S-tier service—attentive, friendly, and professional. The rooms were very good; while there’s some room for improvement, they were still comfortable and well-kept. The location by the sea is perfect and made the entire stay even more enjoyable. There are plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away, offering a variety of dining options. If you're up for a bit of exercise, a ~2km walk to the marina rewards you with even more excellent restaurants in a scenic setting. For those who enjoy shopping, there's a large shopping center just about a kilometer from the hotel—convenient and packed with options. There's a decent gym at the hotel as well.
Alex — Google review
The food quality at this hotel is very disappointing. Breakfast was especially poor – I could hardly find anything to eat. The so-called “live cooking” station does not function as expected. When I asked for an omelette, I was simply pointed towards some already-prepared omelettes that looked at least an hour old and were inedible. Meanwhile, the staff at the station were chatting in Russian about personal matters, and I felt like I was interrupting them just by asking. I had expected a freshly cooked omelette made in front of me, like in other hotels, but that was not the case here. We stayed on a B&B basis and are glad we did not choose half-board or all-inclusive, as the quality of food is simply appalling. In addition, the pool water felt slimy and unpleasant, leaving me wanting a proper shower immediately after swimming. Another disappointment was at the bar: beer is advertised as €4.20 for a pint, but in reality, you only receive a 0.4L glass for that price. This feels misleading and leaves a poor impression. Entertainment was also poorly managed. Bingo was advertised to start at 22:00, but when we arrived at 21:50, the game had already finished. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
C P — Google review
Not a 4-Star Hotel – More Like a Wedding Venue a chav-tastic paradise. I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has received so many good reviews. This is not a 4-star resort — more like a wedding-and-party venue where paying guests come second. Room & Check-In We booked a “garden view” room, which turned out to mean one olive tree and one lime tree directly in front of the balcony — plus a full view of all the surrounding balconies. No actual garden, no privacy. The check-in itself was friendly enough, but the directions were confusing, and we ended up relying on cleaning staff to find the room. Noise & Weddings From the very first night, our stay was dominated by weddings. The music was so loud it was impossible to relax in the room, even with doors and windows closed. We had been awake since 2am for travel, but when we asked reception what time the music would end, the response was: “11pm is law. Well, it is a wedding.” We were shocked at the lack of consideration for paying guests. Here’s how the week went: Day 1: Wedding until 11pm. Day 2: Wedding until 11pm. Day 3: Wedding until 11pm. Day 4: Wedding until 11pm. Day 5: (Sunday, no weddings allowed by law) – finally, peace. Day 6: Stag party screaming, chanting, banging doors until 1am. Reception only acted after I complained. Day 7: Another wedding and competing loud bar music. We came on holiday to rest, not to be unwilling guests at multiple wedding parties. Pool & Atmosphere Sunbeds by the pool are “reserved” as early as the night before, so unless you play that game, you’ll never get a spot. The pool atmosphere was chaotic: large groups from wedding parties drinking heavily, shouting, swearing, pushing each other into the pool, and even dancing with cigarettes in hand. Think “Benidorm” rather than a 4-star resort. The quieter grass sunbeds were better, but unfortunately right next to a public promenade — not ideal if you want to relax without worrying about your belongings. By day three, we started renting a car just to escape the hotel during the day. In the evenings, we often went back out until at least 11pm because of the relentless noise. Rooms & Cleanliness The rooms are very basic and in need of updating. The sofa had stains, the towels were marked, and the beds were uncomfortable. Kitchen equipment was outdated, and basic amenities like flannels were missing. Instead, guests are left with makeup-stained towels. There was an ant infestation downstairs next to our room, which meant ants were coming into our room, there was nothing done to get rid of the ants nest. The patio door of our room did not lock, despite signs on the patio telling you to lock the door, for safety. Photo of my white socks to show how dirty the floor was, these were brand new out of the packet and only worn in the room! Positives The gardeners deserve recognition. They work incredibly hard to keep the grounds, plants, and communal areas looking beautiful. Unfortunately, this was one of the few highlights. Final Thoughts This is not a peaceful holiday hotel — it’s a wedding and party venue where guest comfort is clearly secondary. Management only responds to complaints when pushed, and solutions offered (like moving rooms on the one day weddings aren’t allowed) feel disingenuous. It’s worth noting that Jet2 don’t even sell this hotel — and I can see why.

This is one of the best—if not the best—choices to stay. In addition to the delicious, freshly prepared food served daily, you’ll find wonderful and friendly service, great music, a professional approach to guests, and fantastic management. The location offers breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets. Whether it’s morning, afternoon, or night—there’s never a dull moment here. Beyond the pools, there’s also access to the beach! Amazing people in an amazing place

5 stars is not enough! We spent a lovely holiday in this hotel for the 1st time in Cyprus! Clean rooms, beautiful location and views, delicious food and very friendly and helpful service and people, who helped us to get to the airport (because our travel agency didn't care about our transfer). Definitely recommend!😄
Kasia D — Google review
The location is great with the complex right on the coastal path and then the beach and sea. We checked in quite late, but the process was efficient and trouble free - we booked the hotel independently. The staff were polite and friendly. Our room was spacious and in reasonable condition - one chair at the dining table was broken and the shaving mirror in the bathroom wasn't usable as it was hanging on by a thread. Most importantly the bed was comfortable and made up with nice linen. We were all inclusive and didn't plan to use the kitchen area, but there was enough flat wear and pans to be able to eat simply in the room if you wanted to. The restaurant was very good and the quality of food on offer was excellent. Eat night of the week has a different country theme so dining was not boring and it was always possible to find something nice to eat. All areas of the rooms and the hotel were very clean. The pool was quite big, but the area around it was packed with sun loungers, tables and chairs, but if this didn't appeal the grass area between the hotel and the sea had plenty of umbrellas and loungers. A fresh water shower nearer to the beach would have been good, but, once you'd climed over the people and loungers, the ones at the side of the pool area were fine. The pool bar offered a good selection of drinks and cocktails with many available as part of the AI option. Snacks were also served here in between meals times for those nearing starvation. There was entertainment most evenings with bingo in several languages. The quality of the entertainment was ok-ish, but I wouldn't expect anything exceptional at this type of resort. The walk along the coastal path to the harbour was nice and safe with good lighting at night. The harbour had a good selection of restaurants, a very good ice-cream parlour, lots of tourist shops selling cheap clothes and the usual toys, mementos and gifts. We went out on a boat trip to see turtles (the one we saw was actually in the harbour) and do some swimming and snorkeling. If you are attending a wedding, check the details of your reservation. The catering and bar for wedding receptions 'are a different company to the hotel's which means your AI band is taken off you for the evening and you have to pay for your drinks. This wasn't made clear when we made our reservation or at check in and did take the shine of events a little. We asked for a discount at check out, only the amount we actually spent on drinks for the evening, but we're told 'It's company policy not to make refunds and I will lose my job if I give you a discount, I agree that charging you for drinks could be handled much better and lots of people complain about this' Our stay at the resort was pleasant, but for the money there are better and we probably won't return.

Just sat waiting to leave this hotel after a brilliant holiday. Weather amazing! Well the room v clean and spacious and had cooking facilities, fridge, we were half board didn't need facilities but good to know we could of if we wanted. The bed a little uncomfortable but I was given a mattress topper the same day happy days. The Aircon 🤫 quiet which is great for a light sleeping husband. The staff at this hotel are brilliant 😄 The food excellent and plenty to choose from. It can be busy in the dining room but the staff are efficient and really organised. The location iof the hotel is great but a good 15-20 min walk to the main harbour area and it's v hot to walk !!!!I had bunion surgery 4 mnts ago and iv walked a lot more than my foot wants too flipping foot!!!, normally this isn't an issue. There seems to be sun bed wars CBA with it so we found 5 mins from hotel there's a lil beach with bar called lighthouse and the sun beds and umbrellas which are cheap and you get to swim in the sea and no sun bed wars!!!! And the sunbeds have the comforts of a topper !!!...and bonus little rock pools and play area for children and chilled drinks fabulous 😍. We have visited Cyprus before but we will definitely come back to this hotel it's been great 💯 👍

Hypermarket
Sklavenitis Cyprus recently expanded its network by integrating Papantoniou Supermarkets, increasing its total number of stores to 27 and preserving 769 jobs. The supermarket offers a wide range of products, with a diverse selection of food items available on the lower level and great bargains upstairs, especially during sales. Additionally, it houses the cheapest café in town and provides ample parking. Despite language barriers among some employees, visitors can expect helpful service.
This is the place, if you've forgotten something for your holiday! Clothing stores and an amazing store like B & M! Parking underground and plenty of spaces.

They are not interested in informing the English speaking shopper - only a UK flag on their web page with no information on any products when you choose it. Receipts items are written in Greek characters making it nearly impossible for non Greek shoppers to be able to check their prices without a greek translator. No online prices of anything they are selling either. Nice people inside but the higher management does not seem to care...Their competition super markets in town go out of their way to inform Greek AND English customers their weekly sales, prices and receipts have English characters so you can easily check your items prices for any possible errors when you purchase from their competitors. I don't think they will ever change.

Due to space, has not so many options. Besides that, good quality and polite employees in the store. I've been getting groceries delivered for the past 5 years. Last couple of months, delivery person is not willing to carry the groceries, even though there is an elevator available. Also is always in a hurry and doesn't talk much. I shouldn't carry weight and he had me carrying water and everything else by myself, if I could carry that I would go shop in the store. All previous years they were so much helpful and accommodating. Is just one or two particular people that won't help. Hope they bring back the previous employees. This one is rude and unable to carry groceries.

Fairly big supermarket, but not hypermarket sized. Many of the employes don't speak English, but are used to using Google Translate. They'll happily reply in greek if you speak to them in English. Good service, if you ask for help, despite the language barrier. There are also Russian employees. The website and the stock in store does not correlate much. I found an area with a selection of flour and powders including Ceylon cinnamon. That's rather rare. I'm including photos of the haircare section for fellow Curly Girl Method devotees. You should find most of what you need, if the selection continues like it is today, early February 2023

Cosmic World kid’s entertainment is a fantastic place for families, teenagers, and friends to have a great time. The venue specializes in elaborate bowling alleys that automatically adjust settings for young children. There's also a tablet-equipped waiting area and arcade games for added fun. The complex offers quick service on drinks, good quality lanes, and a variety of arcade games. Families can enjoy the kids' soft play area as well.
We were 6 people and took 2 lanes on a weekday evening. It was quiet, no wait time. The bowling was smooth and the place is clean. There's also an arcade area with video games. Great option for a casual and fun evening in Paphos

They don’t let you bring your own food or drinks, even for babies, no matter what. !! No alternative milk !! So if you or your kid is allergic, be aware. Food and coffee isn’t that great. So if they would have had at least one plant-based milk, or leave me alone with my own drink, I would have probably came here somewhat more often. It’s empty most part of the day, than gets super busy at 5.30-7.30 pm. A lot of birthdays for kids.

Inside B — Google review
We visited the playground on a Sunday with our two-year-olds to let them play. First of all, although the area is supposed to be air-conditioned, it was still quite hot inside, and the place was so crowded that it felt overwhelming. Now, regarding the play areas: in the ball pit designed for toddlers, there were much older children (elementary school age, maybe?) playing inside. Twice, they almost stepped on our little ones. Although there’s supposed to be staff supervising, no one intervened — they simply allowed it. Then we moved on to the indoor slide. Based on our experience with other play centers, children under 3 years old are usually accompanied by a parent for safety reasons. Here, not only were there many older kids running around (which is understandable), but we were told off for going in with our toddlers — because, apparently, we might break the equipment! This is the first time I’ve ever heard such a thing in a soft play area. When I asked why, the staff member told me to ask in English — then said it was because of a "risk of damage." I asked to speak to the manager in English, but she pretended not to understand. I eventually found the manager, who first claimed this was their policy to avoid overcrowding with adults inside. When I pointed out that toddlers need supervision — and asked what would happen if a small child were to fall through an opening or get hurt — he changed his explanation. He said the real reason was to prevent any risk of sexual harassment from adults inside, which might damage the reputation of the venue. Honestly, that kind of reasoning shocked me. So the question is: are there actually proper safety measures in place for toddlers or not? Who is responsible if a small child is seriously injured from a fall? Isn’t the parent the one responsible for supervising their own child? How can a parent do that if they’re not allowed inside? Either enforce proper age restrictions (which clearly aren't being enforced, as older kids were everywhere), or don’t give me three completely different excuses and expect me to pick one.
Oomiro — Google review
The place is not suitable for children under 4 years old. The reason? The staff is not supervising at all times and they don't allow you to go in and help your baby if he asks. They must to inform you that is for children up 5 years old, Also, I ordered a caffeine-free coffee, and they brought it to me with caffeine, and then they don't even apologize for having made it wrong. In conclusion, they should replace the staff because the place itself is good; only those who serve are lacking a lot.
NAIMAR P — Google review
We went for the bowling. Prices are good. 6 euro for a single game per person. They also have an offer where you pay 14 euro for 3 games. The other arcade games are mainly for kids. Not very charmed by the staff. For me it came across a little bit unfriendly.
Stiliyan S — Google review
🚫For toddlers under 3–4? Absolutely not.⚠️ Apparently, here’s how it works: you bring your baby to play… and then you’re not allowed to actually take care of them. Nope — no stepping in, no helping them climb, no catching them if they fall. You’re just supposed to stand back and watch your little one navigate giant climbing toys and ball pits alone, because… safety? Staff? Oh, they’re around — sometimes. Mostly they seem to be practicing the ancient art of “looking without doing anything,” even when kids are fighting, leaping onto smaller children, or roughhousing in ways that make you wince. Intervention is clearly optional here. Maybe older, self-sufficient kids will be fine. But smaller ones? This place is basically a game of “survival of the fittest” — and your toddler will lose. I’ve been to countless playgrounds across Cyprus and abroad, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen such a backwards, unsafe policy. Bravo. Really nailed it. 👏
Chris — Google review
2 stars only because of the video coin games. Most of the games are 2 euros each which for a kid doesn't take more than a minute. As in general review as a place it's very nice for kids but staff should be more trained and be more polite!

BRO...and that's the most sophisticated way I could start this review! The nominative lines are almost all-the way and up the line wrongly placed: most of these are recognizable if you watch up close and carefully, but, probably, not all of them. That's how it could happen, that I bought a "Chocolate flavored croissant" - that was actually a thoroughly stuffed, salty bakery, filled all-up to the brim with olives. Well, thanks, it was a mesmerizing experience: I advise you that you to do not even try to write out the individual names of bakes, just let the customers guess and try, at least they won't get frustrated. I also bought a muffin - that one was at least unmissable, and also tasty, but that's the only good I could say about the place. Wouldn't recommend it.

I wanted to take something from the homemade food and nobody was there to take my order afterwards i went to the cashier and ordered 2 sandwiches. Both of the sandwiches were wrong and they put extra items in the sandwich that I didn’t order.Continuously i went to take some fries and when I started to eat them i realised they were raw so i threw away everything and i made the decision to never come again to papantoniou ,zorpas is 10 times better.

Car rental agency
When visiting Paphos, renting a car from Budget Rent A Car can significantly enhance your travel experience. While public transportation is available, having your own vehicle allows for greater flexibility and the chance to explore hidden gems across the island at your leisure—especially beneficial for families with children. Many travelers have shared positive experiences with Budget, highlighting their efficient service right from the airport location. Friendly staff members assist in selecting suitable vehicles that meet individual needs, whether it's a compact car or something larger.
We had booked a car with Budget for 6 days. We didnt have any problems finding the office. We were greeted by a nice lady who explained everything about the rental. We were even able to return rhe car at Paphos airport at no extra charge, which suited us perfectly. The car was a Citroen C3, which matched what we booked. It wasnt very powerful, but had good a/c and suited us nicely. Return was smooth and quick. I would book with Budget again.

We turned up to pick up our car from the Dora complex in Paphos, Cyprus, and budget was shut. They advised on the phone we were late to pick up the car (45 mins later than we stated) and they could have someone with us in another 45 minutes. It was a hot day and took us 45 minutes to walk there already, so we tried to cancel both over the phone and online but they couldn’t do it. This is the only time after many car hire experiences that I have been required to have an appointment to pick up a car, otherwise the car rental company would be shut. They did not advise this is any of their communications. I would avoid at all costs as there is an open car rental company 2 doors down from budget.

Perfect car rental, got it for 48 hours. No credit card etc. !

My wife and I rented a car from the AIRPORT LOCATION and the experience was perfect! "Agatha", was the young lady who helped us at the airport and got ud a beautiful small car with an automatic transmission....just what we needed. A really great price too! From the moment Agatha started helping us we knew we were in good hands and within the hour we were behind the wheel of a great little car driving into Paphos. Car was perfect, drove excellent, and had low mileage… It was just what we needed for a week! Her manager Uri helped with the transaction as did Andreas when we physically picked up the car a hundred meters away in the airport parking lot. Thank you so much for a smooth transaction and delivering exactly what you promised. See you again in the future. Jim and Johanna

Very helpfull and friendly staff at the pick up in Paphos airport. During our rental period we got stuck on the highway with a flat tire. After calling the 24hr road assistance, someone came to us within only 15 minutes(!). Upon arrival at our desitination they picked up the car and replaced the tires while we were in our meeting. When we got back both front tires were replaced and ready to go. Customer service at it's best!!
Tychoh98 — Google review
We took a car just for one day, everything went smooth, car handover and formalities were fast. I had only a debit car and deposit was returned in a few days. Can totally recommend!
Yevgen G — Google review
Got charged for a ridiculous invisible scratch on the car when it didn't even get checked properly in the first place. They made us wait for 30 minutes when we had an appointment (outside in the 30 degree weather) & then when we wanted to return the car there was nobody in the office.
Paola G — Google review
Very fast and efficient customer service. Car was properly prepped and filled to the brim. Price was very good for less than 24h notice.

In Peyia, Cyprus, visitors can enjoy a relaxing vacation under the Cypriot sun or opt for an activity-filled holiday. The historic town of Paphos is nearby, offering a glimpse into the island's rich history. Sea adventure activities in the area include snorkeling, swimming with turtles, and visiting stunning locations such as sea caves and botanical gardens. Guests have described their experiences as unforgettable and organized, ensuring both their safety and the well-being of the turtles.
We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly approach of the owners and instructors. It was an indescribable experience that we recommend to everyone. Like a dream come true. We spent time with Stelios later on during which he showed us the wonderful places of Cyprus and recommended other excursions. Thank you very much for everything on behalf of the entire Slovak crew and we also send our best regards to Cyprus. Lukas, Paulina, Julia and highlight of the day Martin. I hope that we will be able to come back again so that we can repeat these wonderful moments.
Lukáš M — Google review
From the very first moment, we knew we were in good hands. Stelios, Nicolas, and Chris — kind, attentive, and incredibly professional — made this sea adventure truly unforgettable. We felt completely safe and genuinely cared for throughout the entire experience. Every detail was thought through: clear instructions, help with equipment, and personal attention to each swimmer’s comfort in the water. They have a special talent for making you feel relaxed, even if it’s your first time doing something like this. And the way they speak about turtles and the underwater world — with such love and respect — you could listen to them forever. One of the most amazing surprises was the underwater photos — captured beautifully and shared with us at no extra cost. A diamond bonus for our magical swim! We highly, highly recommend this experience — not just for the fun, but for the people behind it. True professionals with kind hearts.
Oksana O — Google review
What an incredible experience! We booked direct and Andreas picked us up from the hotel at the agreed time. A short journey to the location and we met Stelios. Both guys were great and made the day very memorable. They gave us all the gear and use of the sea scooters too. We swam within inches of a beautiful turtle! Memories that will last a lifetime too! I would 100% recommend this trip, and paying for the photos too! Thank you both!
Owen P — Google review
We had the fantastic chance to go snorkelling, swim with turtles, and visit some incredible locations. We were pleasantly surprised by the event, which was genuinely unforgettable. The highlight of our trip without a doubt was swimming among turtles. Swimming next to the turtles was a dream come true because they were such elegant animals. The entire experience felt incredibly organised and considerate, assuring the security of both the turtles and the guests. It is a memory we will always treasure. The snorkelling locations were picked with care, and they provide clear water and great visibility. It was a wonderful opportunity to get in touch with nature and discover Cyprus's underwater wonders. A visit to Blue Lagoon, where the water is a brilliant blue, is a beach lover's heaven, and Adonis Botanic Garden offers a special chance to discover the beauty of nature. We will always have a special place in our hearts for the memories we made. We strongly advise including these activities on your schedule for Cyprus.

We went to the attraction of diving with sea turtles and a sea scooter. We saw two turtles and even a squid!! It was really beautiful and fun! It was an amazing experience and the staff was lovely, very attentive and thoughtful, professional and pleasant. Even when I was seasick they took care of me until I felt better. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing day with sea adventure activities.. We swam with turtles, it's an indescribable feeling.. He showed us other nice places on the way to sea caves and botanical garden... Sea caves and botanical garden, absolute beauty.. Must see .. We felt very safe throughout the day and everything was explained to us.. We had a really wonderful and funny day. Thank you Stelios..
Monika B — Google review
We were able to contact Stelios easily via whatsapp and spontaneously booked the half-day turtle watching excursion for the following day. We were picked up on time at the hotel and were already in the water with the beautiful animals in the early morning hours. Stelios is an excellent snorkel instructor and puts safety as the first priority. The material was impeccable and the group size ideal (6-10 people). We felt so comfortable that we immediately spent a whole day with him and the group. At the blue lagoon he knows hidden corners and accompanies you safely through the water. Not only in the water but also on land Stelios is a great tour guide and knows the country and its people like no other. The dinner in a local restaurant in a mountain village was lonely top, everything local and fresh and incredibly well prepared. Stelios and his crew are responsive to personal wishes and take time to show the real Cyprus. They are always in a good mood, helpful, cordial and ready for a joke. We can fully recommend this tour and would have loved to give 10 stars! Thanks again Stelios for the unforgettable day and see you soon, love from Switzerland

The awesome part that the playground is covered. It is an awesome idea. I hope they do it for all playgrounds in Cyprus. However, It is for kids older than 3 years old. There is no special borders which protects a small child from falling. There is no steps to go up the playground (there are either a rope or climbing wall).

Lara Beach is a stunning and secluded coastline in Cyprus, accessible by a long dirt road that requires off-road vehicles. The beach offers pristine sandy shores, shallow waters perfect for swimming, and the chance to spot sea turtles nesting in the area. While the journey to reach Lara Beach may be challenging, the breathtaking views and tranquil atmosphere make it worth the effort for nature enthusiasts seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience.
A super nice beach with really shallow and warm water. They do turtle conservation here so the place to sit is limited as you need to keep enough space from the nesting areas. The road there is a bit rough but manageable with most cars if you don't go too fast
Cédric T — Google review
This beach is super secluded and its pretty hard to get here but its doable. The road to get here from coral Bay is pretty difficult if you don't have a 4×4 but it's definitely manageable even in a standard rental car. Even during the season, its rare you'll actually see a turtle here as they mostly come to lay eggs late at night unless you get to see them hatching. It's definitely cool to see even the left over eggs shells laying on the beach from the turtles. The water was very clear and the beach was also clean. Overall, I recommend this place for people who want a bit of adventure
Nadia C — Google review
The beach itself is AMAZING with so many turtle nests. HOWEVER, really disappointed about some people's behavior here. No umbrellas or tents allowed during the nesting season and there were still many! No respect for the nature. We also collected different kind of trash and plastic bottles left on the beach by the visitors. Really disappointed about people just thinking about themselves and their fun and comfort only.. Please be respectful, do not disturb the nests and clean after yourself 🙏
Martina J — Google review
Off the beaten track...literally you navigate to this protected beach via a track that in places ideally requires a 4x4. There are lots of 4x4 buggies/ off road quads that are available to hire to travel around the Akamas. We took our regular hire car to the bay and just took our time and didnt come into any problems. The bay itself is protected due to it being. A nesting site for turtles. During our visits to Lara bay we snorkelled in the beautiful crystal clear turquoise warm sea and saw a varierty of tropical and Mediterranean fish as well as Green and LoggerHead turtles. We have fallen in love with thia bay definately worth the effort to get there.
Emma T — Google review
A true gem in Cyprus, pristine beach, surrounded by hills and turtle nests. Well worth the 30 min one way drive on a dirt/gravel road. We had a regular rental car, no fancy 4x4 - you don't need these, it seems to be a scam that you do. Note that there aren't any facilities such as toilets etc, but this + road make it quite difficult to access, so the beach itself isn't too crowded - you have a sense of a part of the beach to yourself.
Adam B — Google review
A perfectly calm, uncrowded beach — ideal for families or groups of friends. We didn’t see any turtles, but the stunning landscape, crystal-clear water, and pretty easy access by rental car more than make up for it. See the picture below for the best route to the beach parking area.
Gvidas G — Google review
Beautiful clear water, sand beach and if you visit at the right time, you will see some turtles hatching! Be careful and dont step on the nest/ and avoid using umbrellas...
Maximilian H — Google review
We loved our little to Lara Bay - so definitely worth a day trip, buuuut: don’t take the coast road from Smigies, if you have a 0815 rental car. Your wheels will thank you :D the othr is much better, not great but doable !

Excellent service! And great people! First booked for Sunday 31st August, Elias met us at the hotel and took us to the boat. The boat (Blue Marlin) is stunning! We boarded and headed off for 6 hours. Stopped along the way at stunning snorkelling areas and had BBQ and drinks. It was that much fun, we booked for the day after as well and went straight back on the Blue Marlin. Elias and the team couldn’t do any more for us if they tried. They even purchased a cake with sparklers and candles for my sons 12th birthday without been asked and arranged for the whole group to go on an inflatable sofa for no extra charge. We really made some great memories, can’t thank the whole team enough! We will be back in a few months!
