La Casa del Rey Moro is a historic palace with a fascinating water mine and hanging gardens that are open for exploration by visitors. Carved into the cliffs of El Tajos gorge, this site dates back to the Moorish era when protecting water supplies was crucial during constant wars in Al-Andalus. The Ronda's Water Mine, built in the 14th century, showcases medieval Islamic engineering and is a unique marvel in Spain. Nearby attractions include St.
A beautiful gem of a place with culture, history and amazing panoramic views. It's truly underrated and while not Alhambra, it is of importance and beauty if you don't wanna venture further into Andalusia and Granada.
Zainab R — Google review
It is a real oasis with a beautiful park. Unfortunately the park is in need of some love and care, and that's why I subtract one star. The "kings house" is in a very bad state and should be renovated to its former glory, if I had any say in the matter. The "mine" is a must-see if you are able to climb all the stairs up and down, and is a true gem.
Claes L — Google review
We visited Casa del Rey Moro today and overall it was an interesting experience, but not quite what we expected for the entry fee. The garden is small and simple, with some nice views, but nothing spectacular. The descent of more than 200 steps into the mine is unique, but quite demanding, not really recommended for people with heart or knee problems. Bring water with you and don’t come in flip-flops or sandals, good shoes make a big difference. At the bottom, two platforms were closed and the water was unfortunately very dirty, with algae and even plastic waste. A bit disappointing compared to the photos we had seen before. Still, the views are beautiful and worth a few pictures, but the place would really shine with better maintenance.
Online A — Google review
Relaxing gardens and journey inside caves down to the bottom of the gorge which gives plenty of opportunities for some great photos. You can see the outside of the house but the house itself is closed to the public. To get the most out of a visit don’t rush through it and stop and scan the QR codes on signs to launch YouTube audio commentary on the various sections. Hopefully the wooden walkways at the bottom of the gorge will open in the future which will make it even better.
JaffyJafster — Google review
The entrance fee was €10 per person. While the visit had potential, the gardens left me somewhat disappointed. The entrance area looked lovely at first glance, but several details gave a run down impression — the fountains weren’t working, lights were broken, and much of the greenery was either dry or not in bloom. I understand this may be due to the season, but for a place that receives tourists year-round (or so), there are certainly ways to keep the gardens attractive in all seasons. Overall, the entrance fee felt a bit too high. If you are going for the views, next to the gardens is free of charge Jardines de Cue, beautiful views and gardens.
Katrina J — Google review
The water well is amazing, lots of steps to climb up and down though. As other people have said, there's no access to the house, so 10 euros entrance feels slightly steep.
C — Google review
Excellent well worth visiting for the history and the views and garden. The audio guide is rich and can be accessed from QR codes around the site, using the free Wi-Fi.
Richard B — Google review
It was a fun exploration in the water mines. The history is quite interresting. The audio guide via qr code does not work in the lower parts due to bad signal, so it is a pity. It is colder inside the water mine, so it's a great way to escape the heat as well. Be careful, can be slippery, and the stairs are narrow. The garden is simple, but the peacocks made it more special.

Alameda del Tajo, located in Ronda, Spain, is a picturesque 19th-century park known for its stunning panoramic views of the Sierra de Grazalema mountains, El Tajo gorge, and Guadalevin River. The park features tree-lined promenades with lush greenery including pine and oak trees. Visitors can take leisurely strolls along the main avenue leading to cliff-edge balconies offering breathtaking vistas.
What a nice view 🪟 and what a nice experience. You are feeling like top of the area. Everywhere can see clearly. And the sound of nature 🍄‍🟫 on your ears. Ronda/Spain, actually I did not expect to see these kinds of miracle things, but it was really good experience. If you have to find a chance while driving to Sevilla from Malaga, I highly recommend to visit Ronda.

Beautiful gardens planted in the 19th century. At the very end of the gardens is the Balcón de Coño, which offers great views of the surrounding countryside around Ronda.

Iglesia de Santa María la Mayor is a former mosque turned Catholic church located in Plaza Duquesa, one of the favorite squares in Andalucia. The church features ornamental Renaissance and Baroque-style elements and offers a viewing deck with stunning panoramic views. The building has a rich history, with layers of construction from different periods including Visigoth, Moorish, and Roman influences.
Superb church to visit - the entrance is 4.5€ per person but you have so much to see: - beautiful church, - crypt with very old books (12th to 16th century), - small exhibit of old icons, - panoramic view of the top after climbing a beautiful stone carved stair Fantastic !
Aymeric S — Google review
Santa María la Mayor is a fascinating church that reflects Ronda’s layered past, combining Gothic, Renaissance, and Moorish influences. The ornate interior and panoramic balcony views are worth the modest entrance fee. Some areas could use better lighting and signage, but overall, it’s a rewarding stop for history and architecture lovers.
WonderChan — Google review
A beautiful church that used to be a Islamic mosque. It has 2 sections and both are amazingly adorned. A definite must visit when in Ronda.
C N — Google review
Absolutely amazing. Spend some time here in peace and see if you can climb to the top of the church. The views are amazing, absolutely breathtaking. Very peaceful! For history buffs, lots to explore!
Manas K — Google review
Iglesia de Santa María la Mayor is a stunning church with a deeply layered history. Originally built as a mosque during the Muslim rule in Ronda, it was transformed into a church after the Spanish Reconquista. Following the Christian conquest, many Muslims and Jews were forcibly removed from their homes, and the mosque was repurposed for Christian worship, which is a reflection of the tragic history of religious conflict during that time. The architectural blend of Islamic and Christian styles is striking, with remnants of its Islamic roots still visible, especially in the elegant arches and intricate designs. One of the most fascinating parts of the church is the area where the imam once led prayers, still preserved as a testament to the mosque’s original purpose. The church itself is a serene space with soaring ceilings and beautiful altars, but also stands as a reminder of the turbulent history of Spain during the period of the Reconquista. It’s a must-see for those interested in the rich and often painful history of the region.
Mazen C — Google review
This is a fascinating church in a beautiful square in the Old Town, La Ciudad. The square,Plaza Duquesa de Parcent, has a beautiful little park and also houses the impressive Ayuntamiento de Ronda ( Town hall ). The square is just down the street from the Mondregal Palace and is a very short distance from Puente Nuevo but could be a million miles away from hustle and bustle of the tourist trail and selfie shower. The church charges €4 entry but is well worth more. It was originally a Roman Temple , then a Mosque and then converted to a Catholic Parish Church. The beautiful bell tower was originally a minaret and like the Giralda had a bell tower added when constructed as a church. Inside the door is the remains of the Mihrab ( the Muslim door facing Mecca ) , a very impressive choir stalls in beautifully carved wood. The nave is divided from the choir by a beautiful wall of copper images of the Stations of The Cross. An excellent treasury has some lovely pieces.
Liam C — Google review
The entry price is well worth it. Don't forget to take the stairs up onto the roof ("the decks") to enjoy a good view of Ronda and the surrounding countryside.
Burkhard S — Google review
I didn’t visit the church itself, as I was only interested in the Muslim heritage of the building. The remains of the mihrab are still very clearly visible in the gift shop of the church. You can still read Surat al-Ikhlas written on the walls of the mihrab.

You don’t need to be a great photographer when the place itself is effortlessly photogenic. Just step down from the main bridge to the lower level, where you’ll find a freely accessible part of the gardens. There, you can enjoy the company of local cats, a view into the Tejo canyon, and a welcome break from the noise above.

Puente Nuevo, or New Bridge, is a remarkable 18th-century arch bridge that spans a 120-meter chasm in Ronda. It connects the modern part of the city to the historic center and offers stunning views of the River Guadalevin. The bridge is part of a walking tour that includes other significant landmarks such as El Mercadillo and La Ciudad. Despite its name, Puente Nuevo is not actually new; it was completed between 1759 and 1793.
Spectacular views and vibrant atmosphere—an unforgettable highlight of Ronda Puente Nuevo is absolutely breathtaking and a must-see when visiting Ronda. The views from the bridge—both day and night—are spectacular, offering sweeping vistas of the gorge and surrounding valley. It's a stunning spot for photos and a peaceful place to just take in the natural beauty and architecture. The area around the bridge is lively and full of charm, with plenty of tapas restaurants (more than a dozen!) offering delicious food and great views. Many have outdoor seating, making it the perfect place to relax, enjoy a drink, and soak up the atmosphere. There are also several hiking options nearby, with trails that lead down into the gorge or along the cliffside for different perspectives of the bridge. Whether you're just strolling the old town or exploring the paths below, Puente Nuevo is a constant and dramatic presence in the landscape. This spot is just as magical at night when the bridge is beautifully lit—romantic, quiet, and unforgettable. A definite 5-star experience and a highlight of any trip to Ronda.
Tina ( — Google review
This is a very impressive bridge! We paid 5 Euros to go down into the room inside the bridge and thought that was a very cool experience. Outside, it is a bit difficult to get a really good view of the bridge without getting a bit far away from it (you need more than the hour or so that we had), but we still enjoyed the views, especially the scenic views looking out at the cliffs and valleys below. Worth a visit, especially if you have time to explore a bit farther back from the bridge!
Michael P — Google review
The bridge is amazing and home to very nice views. What they don't tell you is that it is in use and very busy with cars. But still, there are vantage points so you can take great pictures. There is also a payed experience that lets you in a certain part of the bridge and it was nice to feel a bit of fresh air. I cannot really recommend the payed experience, sure at 2,50 euros is not expensive but there isn't much to see.
Kell B — Google review
1 hour 30 minutes from Marbella it's worth going for the puento nuevo bridge over the gorge. I spent 3 hours there and that was just right. Very touristy however it's a lovely town and a good day out for a group and if you sit and eat/drink then you will need about 5 hours. So it's a worthwhile day out.
Tee M — Google review
An absolutely breathtaking landmark! Puente Nuevo in Ronda is truly a masterpiece of architecture and nature combined. The views from the bridge are simply stunning, especially with the dramatic gorge and surrounding cliffs. It’s one of those places that leaves you speechless and makes you appreciate the blend of history and natural beauty. A must-see if you’re anywhere near Ronda — unforgettable and iconic.

The Arab Baths Archaeological Site, also known as Banos Arabes, is a well-preserved 13th-century bathhouse located in the San Miguel neighborhood of Ronda. The baths were supplied with water from the Las Culebras stream through a sophisticated Moorish water system. The complex includes cold, warm, and hot bathing rooms, with the central room featuring horseshoe arches and barrel-vaulted ceilings adorned with star-shaped skylights.
This is a very well preserved archaeological site with a really good short video presentation that explains exactly how the baths worked.
Neil B — Google review
Very cool too see the baths, very well preserved and kept. There was a very informative video being played in English and Spanish that explained how the baths worked and their purpose clearly. Gardens were a bit bare but still nice on a warm afternoon.

This is a must if you visit Ronda. Watch the 10min video with the 3D animation before you go around the site - gives a clear understanding of how the baths were supplied with water and heat, and the role the baths played in ancient times.
Emily J — Google review
Spectacular step into deep history, a fine introductory video to show the workings and purpose of bathing the Muslim way, then we could walk around and really get a feel for the place. Beautiful gardens too! We were extra impressed at the outside information boards which were, get this, hand carved from cork!

OK for a quick visit. It’s way at the bottom of the hill and it’s a long walk back to the top. If you are tired after a long day exploring Ronda you can safely give this place a miss. But otherwise it’s OK for a quick tour of say 30 minutes.

Located high up in the mountains overlooking Ronda, the Mirador Puente Nuevo de Ronda provides stunning views over the bridge spanning the gorge below. If you only have time for a short trip, this is definitely the spot to see it.
I start with the info that I am a very sedentary person so the walk from the bridge until the entrance of this was a lot😂 The entrance is 5 euros and you get a helmet, and you enter the trail. Walk stairs until near the bridge and climb them back and after you enter at the actual viewpoint. The visit was very nice even though took my breath from the effort 😂
Andreea D — Google review
Puente Nuevo is not just a bridge, it’s the heart of Ronda. Built in the 18th century after decades of work, it towers almost 100 meters above El Tajo and connects the old and new town. It is truly spectacular, the views over the cliffs and the valley below are breathtaking and worth every photo. Yes, it’s crowded, but it’s one of those landmarks you simply can’t skip when visiting Ronda.
Online A — Google review
It is a very nice view with the bridge and the waterfall. But it lacks shade.. The old one on the other side apparently is not free but this one is free. It is a long way, especially the returning so we needed to stop to rest. However there are only a few points with shade which was generally taken by others. There could be natural solutions that would help visitors in this case. If you have the energy I recommend it. But keep in mind that it is hot and some parts are steep. After some point the access was closed though. So the actual route is even longer I assume.
Bilge K — Google review
As you approach the new bridge you’ll not be surprised at the number of tourist groups all vying for phot opportunities. I recommend you walk over the bridge and turn left down the next street and head down to the old bridge you see from the new bridge. Then you can an unobstructed view from there. People on go for the bridge & gorge so take some time to sample some ice cream or a light lunch in the town square with a lovely church.
Eddie G — Google review
This was so so beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous! Very impressive and amazing for a lovely photo. But wear good shoes! It’s quite a hike with loads of cobble stones (sometimes a little slippery)
Britney — Google review
What a view! It’s marvellous how they were able to build the bridge that high and the cliffs made the view more dramatic. How to get to the view point: 1) Take the street opposite the Mirador de los Viajeros Romanticos mural (C.Tenorio). 2) Follow C. Tenorio all the way to Plaza de Maria. 3) In the corner of Plaza de Maria, follow the steps down to the viewpoint. We paid 5€ each for the viewpoint. I’m not sure if you can walk to the other side and not have to pay? Definitely worth it to pay in my opinion rather than the newbridge museum on the other side of the bridge.
Anna R — Google review
Scenic spot to see the 3 arches at the El Tajo Gorge. Best time is to watch the bridge change color during sunset and wait for the lights up after that. There are few flight of slopes/ stairs to head back to the bridge but it's worth the climb.

Probably great. Closes to admission at 8.30 or 9pm. Didn't get to see the sunset from here. No warning that we could see before you get down there! Took some sunset photos from the path

Casa Museo Don Bosco, located in Old Ronda, Calle Tenorio, is a modernist mansion built at the beginning of the 20th century. Originally owned by a wealthy family, it was later donated to the Salesian Order and now serves as a shelter for elderly and sick priests of the order.
Beautiful museum, simple and uncrowded. A great way to experience some of the old charm of Ronda without lots of tourists. The occasional tour group will come through, but otherwise you have lots of time to wander around a small, intimate, and largely untouched 19th century mansion perched aside the gorge. Great views of the bridge from the terrace as well.

Well worth the couple of Euros entry charge to walk round this old house and gardens, fantastic views of the gorge too. Lovely cafe round the back selling drinks and snacks at reasonable prices

What a hidden secret as it the best place to get afternoon and evening views of the gorge and the bridge. The gardens are cooling and relaxing. We enjoyed having a drink on the terrace. A beautiful museum with nice mosaics and gardens. It has a nice unobstructed view of the bridge of Ronda and it very picturesque and stunning. For only 2 Euros you get a nice view and it’s worth it.

My cousin celebrated the beginning of his new life with his amazing bride against a breathtaking backdrop. The inside of Casa Museo Don Bosco is gorgeous and the view of the valley, mountains and the bridge are beyond description. The weather was perfect for an outdoor service, and the care provided by the staff simply added to an already amazing day.

We attended for the flamenco guitar concert and had the loveliest night here, one of the best from our trip to Spain. Enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine on the gorgeous patio beforehand, and the concert itself was incredible. Such an intimate venue and a beautiful, passionate performance by Emilio Caracafé. For €20 a person, the experience was an amazing bargain.

Spanish restaurant
Restaurante Casa María, located in Ronda, Malaga, is a top-rated dining spot known for its ever-changing menu crafted from the freshest produce available each day. With over 3,000 five-star reviews on TripAdvisor, this restaurant offers innovative and authentic dishes served by Maria and her family. Guests can enjoy a simplified dining experience with no menu to decipher; instead, they are treated to 5-6 well-proportioned courses of delicious dishes paired with local wines.
Casa Maria has been on my list for agessssss!! It was so worth the wait. You’ll be hard pressed to find better service- they are all SO sweet! They do well in explaining the dishes, and made us all laugh. It’s a set menu, so as others have said… you get what you get, but my gosh. We loved EVERYTHING! Such a unique dining experience. You can’t go wrong here. They also have delicious alcoholic beverages and wines. A true European dining experience. Don’t miss out on this!
Saidie R — Google review
Dining at Casa María in Ronda was one of the most memorable meals of my entire trip through Andalusia. Tucked into a quiet plaza just a short walk from the Puente Nuevo, this small, family-run restaurant delivers big on charm, flavor, and authenticity. What makes Casa María special is its unique concept: there’s no fixed menu. Instead, the host asks about any allergies or dislikes, and then you're taken on a culinary journey made from that day’s freshest market ingredients. Each course arrives as a surprise—and every single one was a delight. From a perfectly grilled local cheese starter to an exquisitely tender piece of Iberian pork, everything was beautifully balanced and thoughtfully presented. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming. María and her family treat you like guests in their own home. She explained each dish as it came out, often with stories about the ingredients or how it was prepared. It felt personal, intimate, and unpretentious.

If I could give this 20 stars I would! One of, if not THE best dining experience we’ve ever had. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, explained how the restaurant worked. Started at 45 euro per person and you get a set menu of salad, appetizers, fish meat and dessert. Everything we ate was amazing. The flavors were so good and each dish kept getting better and better which we didn’t think was possible. We called a day early to get a reservation for the next day. If you are in Ronda PLEASE go! It was the best dinning experience ever and you won’t be disappointed. It is more expensive than other places but 100% worth it!!

What an amazing experience we had!!! Not a planned stop but due to a rainy weather, we stayed a bit longer in Ronda - thankfully! No fixed menu, seasonal food served by Maria, only 4 small tables… and she welcomed us despite it was already quite late (all the other guests have left, we were the last one). Everything was absolutely perfect, Maria and her mom are sweet and heartwarming people. If we will come back to Ronda someday, we will definitely stop at Maria’s place again!
Petr K — Google review
Delicious unique experience. Felt like I was eating at a family member’s home. They catered to us considering we’re vegetarian. There was also an extremely friendly cat in the square that enhanced our dining experience. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Ronda!

We had such a good experience at Casa Maria! The food was incredible, everything was fresh and of the highest quality. No menu - Maria instructed us there would be several courses, which were all fantastic. My partner is a coeliac and we’re not too big on seafood, so our meal was tailored to our preferences. We had a duck salad, feta/asparagus and pan con tomate to start, a 45 day aged steak which we seared on a hot stone and a poached pear with a white chocolate sauce to finish. Only dropped a star for atmosphere, because we were the only ones there for lunch service, but we can’t complain about that! A proper Spanish eating experience form start to finish 😊🇪🇸

We went here on a trip to Spain and loved everything from the vibe, to the staff, and the food and wine. The whole experience was created, including interacting with Maria herself. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

The staff was a bit serious at first explaining that they served a prix fix menu but quickly warmed up to us. The chef checked in on regularly as she spoke the best English. The staff was charming. Definitely the best meal and experience in a restaurant so far in Spain!

Arco de Felipe V is a significant landmark in Ronda, hastily constructed after the collapse of the Arab Gate in 1742. It is named after King Felipe V, known for his efforts to rebuild Spain's economy during the War of Succession. The arch marks an entrance to the city and features a unique trapezoidal pinnacle above its opening. Situated near Puente Viejo, it offers picturesque views and stands as a testament to Ronda's historical legacy.
A magnificent historical sight. The views all around fantastic. Bring an extra SD drive for the camera. Interesting to stand and contemplate the thousands of different people across the centuries who have passed under the Arch. And who will walk here in centuries to come. A beautiful village with white colored houses is down the path.

Puerta de Almocábar is a 13th-century arched stone gate that served as the prominent entrance to the historic walled enclosure of Ronda. It was built during Muslim rule and features three successive doors and two semicircular towers that once housed guards. The name 'Al-maqabir' refers to a former cemetery located nearby.
Ronda is a picturesque town and lives up to the tourist book hype. It is well worth a visit spending a few days wandering the streets and enjoying the restaurants, cafe-bars and surrounding landscape. There are a number of interesting walking/cycling routes from outside the old town walls which can take you to the other side of the valley from the you can see the spectacular bridge spanning the chasm from a distance. We ventured in January to witness not just the sights of the architecture, food and landscape but the festival of the Three Kings, the procession of which meanders streets of the old town for quite a few hours on the evening of 6th January. This is a very noisy affair and sensitive pets may find the experience too loud on occasion. The weather in winter is mild and more akin to early summer temperatures in the more northern parts of Europe. It’s a good season to visit.

Hello fellow travelers, you find yourself in Rhonda Spain. It's late at night, I need to go to a bar, but I don't want it right in town. I was on the outskirts of town. This is your place. Stunning location. I visited with my family during a winter trip. What a wonderful time we had here. The meatballs here are far better than those at the La lechuguita tapas bar. Even the owner remarked that when he visits a tapas bar, he goes to La Lecuguita. Bar Sanchez deserves your visit. It is a real local experience. You may even find less tourists. I know that if I'm back in town I'm coming back again. So what are the things that I try? Obviously you got to have the olives, the sausage, the meatballs etc etc. It's all very good. Hope to bump into You here next time I'm in town.

Medieval Castle Towers This is a fantastic gate guarding the entry to the Town of Ronda. Highly worth your time to visit it. They are comprised of two towers extremely well preserved. You can see them for free and then enter the town.

Puerta de Almocabar The Almocabar gate originally provided access to the city and on the outside was the Moorish cemetery that used to be located in the area that now is the Plaza Ruedo Alameda. Ferdinand and Isabel first entered Ronda through this gate during their triumphal march into Ronda the Christian reconquest of the city. The walls and gate were left in ruins after the French invasion in the early 19th century and were restored again in the 1960’s. It’s now possible to climb the walls and enjoy views of the San Francisco area from the tower viewpoints.

El Tajo de Ronda is an iconic Spanish city known for its location straddling the El Tajo Gorge and as the birthplace of bullfighting. The former Moorish bastion has attracted famous visitors like Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles, offering adventurous vistas and picturesque narrow streets. The town is divided by a hundred-meter-deep gorge, crossed by the historic Puente Nuevo bridge built in the 18th century.
This is a wonderful place. So romantic, breathtaking and quite peaceful and relaxing! The bridge is a great work of architecture built on the rocks. I cannot believe it I am seeing this wonder! You have to experience this in person at least once in your life.

Historical & Landmark Bridge in the heart of Ronda This is a super impressive bridge, best seen from below. The walk into the canyon is very nice but can be quite tiring. Not recommended on a summer day (although we did it). The reason is that views are really worth it. Highly recommended visit!

Ronda is a small but beautiful place to visit. Lots of history, check out if they have any festivals on for the dates you are visiting . When we where there everyone was dressed ini Victorian costumes and there was some kind of food festival on. I recommend visiting the tourist information office, because there are hidden gems in the town. Ronda Bridge is a must see and there is a viewing platform part way down the cliff face but it is chargeable .Go down past this and you will get the best view. We stayed on the aire of the El SUR Campground. REALY CLEAN and well laid out. 19€ for the aire 29€ for the campground we stayed 2days

The Puente Romano, also known as the Roman Bridge, is a 16th century bridge over the gorge in Ronda. It is a beautiful structure with great views of the river below. The bridge is slippery when wet and may be dangerous to walk on when wet, so be careful if you visit.
Gorgeous ! Right beside the Puente Nuevo, the Mirador de Aldehuela lets you enjoy an easily accessible and close-up view of the Puente nuevo. Make sure to look to your right also to see the gorge in all its glory and the second of three bridges that span the gorge of Ronda, the Puente Viejo.

Puente Árabe is a small but beautiful bridge tucked away below Ronda, near the old Arab baths. Surrounded by lush greenery and stone walls, the area feels like a hidden gem where time has paused. The peaceful sound of the stream running below, the wild plants growing around, and the ancient stone make it a perfect spot for a quiet moment and some amazing photos. It’s sometimes called the “Arab Bridge” because it was originally built or rebuilt during the Muslim period of Al-Andalus. You can still see that old Andalusi style in its simple yet strong design. Though it’s not big, the bridge has a calm, timeless beauty and feels like a secret doorway into Ronda’s deep past. Definitely worth the walk down, especially for those who love history, nature, and peaceful spots with character.

Art gallery mainly devoted to a 20th century Spanish painter I have never heard of but who knew Picasso. The collection of drawings and paintings shows the development of his style over the decades. Not my cup of tea, but fans of cubism may find a few works to admire. Something parents might want to note is the inclusion of some drawings which they might not want their children to view.

It's a surprise addition to see this horse farm 🐎 🐎 🐴 . A very friendly local tourist guide demonstrates how to handle young horses, which I'd even attend to walk too closer, but she let everyone feel relaxed and like to touch young horses. Love to see that new born baby horse, just 3 days old. Sooooo cute.
Andrew R — Google review
If you have the opportunity to take this tour and experience this place - do it! We visited on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted immediately upon arrival by Desiree. She was equal parts knowledgable, lovely, and funny. Our two daughters, ages 5 and 6, took to her right away and spent the rest of our time holding her hand or asking for her attention. We were offered the use of a clean, beautiful restroom before loading into the van for a driving tour of the incredibly vast and well-maintained property. We were able to see all the bulls of various ages, cows, and horses. Following the van tour, we were led on foot into an indoor arena where Desiree showed us the matador's capes and allowed us all to try our hand at working them! The kids pretended to be the bull causing us all to have a great laugh! Then we toured the rest of the stunning facilities, learned a great deal about the attentive care they provide for their animals, and went over to the bull ring on property. We even got to meet Rafael Tejada, the renowned bullfighter who owns, runs, and lives at the farm. He was exceedingly kind and engaging!

Great tour and experience with Desiree. She handled our small group very well (considering there were four of us who needed English and the larger group Espanol) We opted for the extra charcuterie and wine and enjoyed the snack after touring the grounds and meeting some bulls. Great information that enhanced our time in Ronda, the birthplace of modern bullfighting.
Danny C — Google review
The highlight on this farm visit was meeting the legendary Rafael Tejada himself. His story was an inspiration for many and now mine. I didn't know much about bull fighting until this tour where I learned a different side of this tradition and it is not just about winning over the fight and killing the bull. We asked Rafael himself about the sport and the killing of the bull. His expressed the killing part is the least he look forward to but preserving the tradition and promoting the understanding of this unique culture compels him to start this farm. I was a different and more appreciate perspectives to bull fighting and the matadors. The visit was full of oos and ahs over the cute calves and foals but definitely worth a visit if you want to know more about bull fighting, gain a better understanding of what goes behind it, and find a new view on it.
Alan C — Google review
This 90min tour through the bull plots was simply perfect and we recommend it to everyone! Our tour guide didn’t just show us around, but was passionate about the project, answered every question and even spoke several languages! After visiting the bull ring, where the bulls with the desired genes are being selected, and the horse stalls, we got a tour visiting the bulls and cows at different ages. While stopping several times, the guide explained the purpose of the breeding farm, its history and generally bull fighting. Even though the matter can be discussed, it is very interesting to hear about it and understand the local tradition. Thank you so much for the tour!
