We booked a ferry from Krabi to Railey Beach. There is a little booth near the docks that sell the tickets and tell you the hours that the ferries run. Once a wooden dragon boat is full it heads out. The boat ride was awesome. Open air and smooth. It was one of my favorite parts island hopping during our trip. When we arrived we wondered until we found a hotel that served breakfast. There was a reasonably priced buffet and we ate there. We spent a few hours at the beach, swimming and enjoying the sun. We saw the rain coming and decided to head to bar and grab a drink. Overall it was a great day, and I highly recommend.

We took long tail boat from Ao Nang at 8:30. We were there before 8:00 but if a group came, they had priority. It was a bit chaotic how the boatmen were organizing the boats. After 30 min we could board. It took 15min and cost 100bhat per person. We were 12 on the boat. When coming back there was 1 more couple waiting. Each of us paid 200 baht and we could go immediately back. West Railay beach is nice with stunning views. Inside the “village” it’s already a bit messy. To go there for 1-day trip ok but I wouldn’t stay there for longer. For cat lovers just check the pictures 😻

Really gorgeous beaches, yummy food, wildlife, and almost everything you need. Cool hippie vibes by the west side. I enjoyed the place and was only there for a few hours. Would love to come back and stay on this side of Krabi for a few days.

Beautiful spot. The swim area towards the cliff has a quite rocky bottom and is shallow at low tide. Further towards the boats the bottom has far more sand and is a nicer walk out to swim.

Railay beach is so beautiful. Especially during the sunset days. They have beautiful long tail boats and the scenery looks wonderful. You can get the long tail boats from Ao Nang to Railay Beach at 200 return. Last boat is at 6.30 PM. Get a boat so you will catch the sunset.

Gorgeous beach but recommend carrying beach shoes to avoid getting hit by rocks especially when going for a swim. The water is nice and warm and sandy patches are good on the beach.

The beach is really relaxing with magnificent views. Has lots of stuff to do, do not stay there for 1 day, stay for more. There is so much to do and see. The first priority place that I'll recommend to you if you will go to Krabi. You can only get there by boat. Its a piece of land surrounded by mountains and cliffs. You will need to pay if hotel doesn't provide a free boat to your destination.

Well the place gets busy by the night and graceful by the morning but always has a vibe there’s always a good view of islands but sometimes due to high tide you have to skip beach days.

Ao Nang Beach is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The water is calm, the sand is clean, and the views make it even more stunning. I loved walking along the beach, especially during sunset — the sky looks magical. The area is also very convenient with lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. Local people are friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. A perfect place to relax, take photos, and enjoy the true beauty of Krabi. Highly recommended!

The town is quite peaceful. The beach is located across the town drive. Clean stretch of beach with beautiful shell and the beach is landmark. Loved the location and the scenic beauty. My personal advise is to stay in a hotel closer to beach and night market. You are always in the heart of all activities.

Lots of tourists and touristy stalls; the beach itself wasn’t very nice. The Monkey Trail was good, though, and the sunset view from the beach was nice. Ideal for a one-hour visit during sunset, but nothing more.

Well the view from the island was stunning, but it was overcrowded and there were food outlets but food was not good. Front side of the beach was neat and clean but the other side was horrible, it looks like everyone is dumping waste on the beach only. You can enjoy swimming also Overall it was good.

Turquoise blue waters, peaceful and joyful vibes, a clean island with plenty of good food especially halal options. Public washrooms were also well-maintained. You can rent a boat or take on tours or just stay there for a night as plenty of hotels are present as well. A must visit with family or as a couple to enjoy this place. We stopped here for lunch during our island tour, and it was a nice break. The island has plenty of boats anchored along the shore, giving it a lively and colorful vibe. From a distance, it looks absolutely beautiful with its green hills and turquoise water. It’s a good place to explore if you enjoy a mix of nature and local energy, but don’t expect peace and quiet — Phi Phi Don is all about movement, people, and island life in full swing! 🌺⛵✨

The view is nice, the beach is beautiful. It is also a stop point for those who are on the phi phi island snorkeling trip. I had a lunch here and it was superb. It was super busy during lunch time.

Kayaked here from railay beach, in about 20mins! Beautiful and secluded, blazed a huge J under some beautifully positioned palm trees etc for some well needed shade. The water was beautiful, clear and warm and definitely worth the kayak trip to this beach! Also possible to explore both the caves at either end of this beach so well worth spending a day here if coming from Ao Nang.

It takes 40 minutes to walk from Railway beach. It is much nicer than Railway beach. Along the way, you get to see some interesting rock formations and there is a rope you can climb (need appropriate footwear, as it is muddy and slippery) but there is a nice viewpoint and a lagoon at the top. Once you arrive at the beach, you can see monkeys and some lizards. People rock climb there too which is interesting to watch

A quiet beach of your own with few tourists making it a can’t-miss spot in Krabi. This pristine beach stretches afar from famous Pranang Spirit Cave till the end of the beach with high limestone cliffs. Beautiful Soft sand and clear sea water with multicolor green to blue sea will make your day the most relaxing one. Be sure to spend a lot of time lingering leisurely. During low tide you can simply walk to Happy Island just across the shore.

Visiting the Krabi Night Market was a really fun experience! The atmosphere was lively with music, local vibes, and lots of small stalls full of food and souvenirs. We enjoyed several different street food dishes together, and the total price was only 10.8€ – which clearly shows how much cheaper Thailand is compared to Belgium. The food was tasty, freshly prepared, and there was plenty of variety to choose from. Even though it rained quite a lot during the day, the market still had a cozy and vibrant feel. Definitely worth a visit if you want to experience authentic local food at very affordable prices!

A very clean night market as SE Asian night markets go with its own space rather than having to block off streets and deal with passing traffic. It obviously caters to tourists and there is food for all tastes including some very unusual vendors, like the folks serving crocodile meat burgers and kebabs. Food is relatively cheap and delicious and you could eat here every night to save money as there’s a lot of outdoor seating. There’s also a clothing and souvenir section that makes bargain hunting fun and you are expected to haggle. Parents can find amusements for kids, the area is surrounded by bars, there’s Thai kickboxing and live music too. Altogether, a fun place to spend time with the friendly vendors after a day of exploring the many islands.

We spent three nights around the Ao Nang night market, and it was a really nice local experience. The food was great most dishes were around 100 Baht per serve, with plenty of options to try each night. There’s always something happening ; live local music, small shows, and even wrestling events that add to the fun vibe. The local people were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also bought a shirt for 300 Baht. The clothes are a bit more expensive compared to Bangkok, but still reasonable for a tourist spot. Overall, a fun and authentic local experience , great food, great atmosphere, and friendly people!

I absolutely loved the Ao Nang Landmark Night Market — it’s such a vibrant and lively spot! The ambience buzzes with energy, filled with the sound of live music and the aroma of sizzling street food. From mouthwatering Thai dishes to quirky little souvenirs, there’s something for everyone. I spent hours just soaking in the cheerful chaos — eating, exploring, and enjoying the friendly vibe that makes this market one of Ao Nang’s most memorable experiences.

A really nice market with live performances. At 9 PM there are amazing fire shows! The seating area is well organized they actually ask people who stand up to move if they block the view, which really impressed me. Great and varied food, shakes, cocktails, kids’ activities, small cars for rent, inflatables, and more all at reasonable prices.

It’s an interesting place to visit when in Ao Nang. You can buy there clothes, toys, souvenirs and food. Big selection in good prices. However, many sellers do not want to give any discount (what is common in the other (day) market in Ao Nang). For example good quality lady trousers for 200 baht. That’s a bargain. In Koh Phi Phi automatically the price is doubled. Live music (at least on Saturday night). The place itself is quite big.

Great experience at the night market. Plenty of people but very friendly (and family friendly) atmosphere. Lots of delicious food options and other market stalls with the usual array of Thai goods. The fire dancers show was spectacular. Highly recommended night out in Krabi.

Beautiful and scenic beach - a lot quieter than Ao nang with the lovely landscape around it. I think you can only access it by walking the monkey trail from ao nang, or maybe by boat too. We were there mid-end July and the water seemed to be quite dirty, it was unbearable but still had quite a lot of dirt stuck to our swim stuff when we got out the sea. There are some big building works going on towards the back of the beach so there is a big boat/barge with trucks driving on and off it half way down the beach. It’s a bit of an eye-saw however if you keep walking down you don’t really notice it. Still highly recommend coming here though as it was beautiful!

The beach is nice and offers a pretty sunset. However at the time of writing the hotel there was under construction so it didn’t look super nice in the background. Not too crowded when we visited.

Only accessible by the monkey Trail, which was.... Terrifying! Monkeys were scanning if they could open a bag to get some food. Also, a monkey peed on a guy who walked in front of us. The trail is 10 minutes and very doable, I was just terrified they would hurt me. The beach feels private which is nice but it is definitely not the best beach ive been too. It's better than Ao Nang beach though.

A most beautiful private hotel beach, accessible by the unique Monkey Trail. 15 walk with a steep stairs ascent at the beginning and a steep descent in the end. Arriving there, via this trail provides magnificent and surprising views. The setting is simply amazing. Great place for swimming, slow kayaking, laying around or having a cool drink from the hotel's exterior bar. When you enter the beach and when you leave, you register with the guard at the end of the Monkey Trail.

Very nice restaurant with stunning view over the bay. Service was extremely friendly - you are picked up down the hill by a little truck which is great. Food was all very tasty - the only thing we asked not spicy options & it still was quite spicy (so maybe a bit of warning needed). All in all everything was very good. The prices are however are Higher than overall in Ao Nang

We booked our stay at The Hilltop Ao Nang, Krabi via Airbnb, and despite a delayed flight that had us arriving around 7 PM, the experience turned out to be memorable and absolutely worth it. It was raining heavily when we reached, and the staff at the reception were kind enough to safely keep our bags while we headed out for dinner. As a vegetarian, I did face a bit of a challenge finding pure veg food in Ao Nang. One instance was when we ordered vegetarian fried rice, but it was prepared using egg and fish oil. After a conversation with the kitchen, they understood and ensured our food was fully vegetarian going forward. That said, the food was delicious and fresh, and we appreciated the effort they made. We had booked a villa stay for 2 nights for ₹19,177 (~8,300 Thai Baht) and received a 20% discount on our food bill as part of the villa package. The villa itself is perched high up on a lush green hill, and the property arranged for a jeep to transport us and our luggage up to our room. The villa is divided into four private sections, giving you a sense of privacy and space. At check-in, the staff also handed us a mobile phone to connect directly with reception in case of any needs or concerns — a thoughtful touch that made communication easy throughout the stay. Inside the villa, we were welcomed with a platter of fresh fruits, and although the night was filled with the sounds of jungle insects (a reminder that you’re surrounded by nature!), it was peaceful. Just be sure to keep your windows shut, as the area is rich with insect life. But the real highlight? Waking up to a breathtaking panoramic view of Ao Nang beach — absolutely surreal. The entire hilltop is surrounded by greenery and offers a true escape from city life. If you’re looking for a unique, peaceful, and scenic stay in Krabi, The Hilltop is an excellent choice. Just come prepared for nature — and you’ll love every moment like we did.

Shuttle service from hotel to the restaurant. Greeted by the nice view and decor. Great live band that started at 6pm as well. Ordered Thai Food and some cocktails, tasted above average with fresh seafood. Food came out very quickly.

Found this place through social media, was a bit nervous that it was just a picturesque restaurant with mediocre food however both views and food did not disappoint. Papaya salad was fresh and light & for my meal I had the curry crab with rice, it was delicious! And the best part was to enjoy this food with the amazing sunset

A lovely restaurant with fabulous views. The food was outstanding, as was the service. Really attentive without being overbearing. Fairly priced too, so great value for money.

Didn’t stay here as a guest however I visited for the dining, the location is nice but people book the tables in several days ahead so you won’t get a decent view from the table from the restaurant. The day we went most of the tables were booked and staff didn’t give any tables near the view area. Which was ok however 50% guests who reserved didn’t even turn up.

I have seen many magical beaches in my life, but in my opinion this is one of the most scenic beaches ever. The walking route towards the beach (through semi-caves) is also beautiful and well maintained. I loved the old trees and their roots and the fact that you are walking in the shade of the mountain. Try to visit the beach when it is low tide, you will be able to walk along the coast and see many semi-caves.

Amazing beach. Walk path there takes you along the cliffs where you see all kinds of cool formations. If you're going to Railey don't miss this gem just a short walk away.

Phranang Cave Beach or Phranang Cave Bay is the beautiful beach with Limestone Mountain and cliff. At the end of path will have cave that surrounding of white sand and clear sea. In the morning will be full of Thai and foreigner tourists. At here, it good for swim or enjoy with other activities on the beach such as cliff climbing, sunbath, kayaking, see the sunset, volleyball and football, etc.

For me this beach was meh. It was crowded. I have visited many beach in the area and none were this crowded. I wouldn't go back; plenty of other beautiful beaches to spend time on.

We got the long tail boat from Ao Nang to the west side of the beach. 200 BAHT return. You walk through a forest path, to get to the east side and then another walk through a forest path to get to the beach.

Scenic beach. The view is so stunning with limestone (karst towers) on the sea and by the beach. Nature is amazing here. Enjoyed our sun-bathing time here :)

We had a pit stop here as we only realised this beach on our last hour before our ferry back to Ao Nang but so glad to have discovered this beauty. Totally recommend if you’ve more time and try to avoid any food at all especially hot food etc as monkeys would love that haha.

Noppharat Thara is among Krabi's most famous beaches. Located only 6 km away from Ao Nang Bay, Noppharat Thara Beach features a 3-km white sandy beach full of rows of casuarinas and coconut trees. The beach was formerly known as 'Khlong Haeng Beach,' which means a dried-canal beach in Thai. The term was taken during low tide when the water dries up and reveals long, seashells-paved seashore. Noppharat Thara Beach is actually part of the marine national park.

Very nice beach long and sandy but it changes a lot depending on tides. It’s interesting to observe how it change from rough see almost breaking to the pavement to long and vast beach full of crabs, shells and other sea creatures

I love to sit here to enjoy watching the sand bubbler crabs. Recommend to go there on weekday because not too crowded by Thai people from nearby provinces who come picnic with their family members.

The sheer beauty of this iconic beach exceeded all my expectations, and it’s easy to see why it became so famous after being featured in The Beach. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I’d stepped into a postcard-perfect paradise. The first thing you notice is the dramatic limestone cliffs that surround the bay, creating a sense of secluded serenity. The turquoise water is so clear you can see the sandy bottom even from the boat. The sand is soft, powdery, and incredibly white—perfect for walking barefoot. The lush green landscape adds to the dreamlike vibe of the place. To help preserve its natural beauty, access to Maya Bay is now limited and boats aren’t allowed to dock directly on the beach. This system is a fantastic way to protect the ecosystem, but it also means you’ll need to swim or wade a short distance from the boat. Honestly, it’s worth the effort. I really appreciated the environmental efforts in place. There are signs everywhere reminding visitors not to litter or disturb wildlife, and some areas are roped off to protect the coral reefs. Our guide shared a lot about the bay’s history and its ecological importance, which made me feel like I was contributing to preserving this beautiful spot for the future. That said, the beach can get pretty crowded even with visitor limits. It’s best to go early in the morning to avoid the rush. You’ll also want to book your tour in advance since spots fill up quickly. If you enjoy snorkeling, you’ll love the waters around the bay. They’re full of marine life. It was both peaceful and exciting at the same time. it’s an experience. The stunning scenery, the crystal-clear water and the feeling of being surrounded by nature make it unforgettable. Even though it’s popular and can get crowded, it’s a must-visit if you’re in Phuket. A quick tip , bring a waterproof bag for your things, wear reef-safe sunscreen and don’t forget your camera. Trust me, you’ll want to remember every moment here.

Extremely popular and iconic beach, The sand is so soft, at the moment you are not permitted to swim in the bay in an effort to conserve the sharks. An inteseting walk from the docking area to the actual beach. Well worth a visit.

It’s an extremely beautiful beach, unfortunately destroyed by mass tourism. We departed for Maya Bay at 9:30 and arrived around 10:30, which turned out to be already way too late. Just hordes of tourists, you had to “wait in line” for your turn to take a picture/selfie of this superb beach. Sharks are there, too, so don’t go in too deep. In order to get the vibe of this beach, you need to arrive like at 8am or earlier, I guess.

Incredibly beautiful and very well-maintained. Although the place gets extremely crowded and everyone seems to be in a rush, it still remains neat, clean, and truly worth visiting.

This bay is absolutely breathtaking!! The water is so blue and the scenery around is beautiful! I was also lucky enough to see a black tip reef shark! Only problem is the crowds. I even went at 6am and there were still crowds. I would recommend just going in the afternoon so you can really get the full electric blue water experience. The crowds are the same no matter what.

Maya Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches and islands I've ever seen in my life. We were lucky enough to take a tour before sunrise, leaving at 5:30 AM, and arriving just as the island opened, so we had it all to ourselves. The beach is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and dramatic cliffs surrounding it. While swimming is not allowed to protect the environment, it's the perfect place to enjoy the surroundings and admire the breathtaking landscape in peace. If you have the chance to visit, going early in the morning is highly recommended for a tranquil experience.

This was a really cool thing to see- the monkeys come out when they know there’s food. I did however want to throw some people in the water that think it’s okay to 1) touch the monkeys or try and pull their tails or 2) splashing water on them. Like leave them alone if you can’t be nice. Some tourists should not be allowed to be tourists. It was a really beautiful area too.

picturesquely beautiful like other beaches in the region ! beach is very small with the cliffs starting almost immediately you land. No shops or people other than tourists, but it can get pretty crowded. And yeah you will see a lot of monkeys playing around !

This is one of the most famous Monkey Beaches, a picturesque cove on the southwestern side of Phi Phi Don Island. It features white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, and is home to a population of wild macaque monkeys. Visitors often reach it by long-tail boat or rented kayak from Tonsai Bay and enjoy swimming and snorkeling there.

Spotlighting the white sands, clear waters and ofcourse it’s monkeys. Monkey beach is comparitavely small, secluded stretch of sand fringed by limestone cliffs. But the monkeys can be aggressive and unpredictable and feeding them is not allowed risk of theft or bites one have to be careful. Monkey Beach is undeniably a highlight of Phi Phi Don- a beautiful and exotic spot where playful macaques bring a wild energy to paradise.

Okay, the beach is beautiful, white sands and nice cliffs. However, the monkeys will steal anything you have. We took a canoe and I got my dry bag and my friend her backpack, but my grocery bag was still in the canoe with of course no food. They tore it open anyway (just to find sandals). We stood in the water too terrified to do anything. Also another monkey took a water bottle from another canoe and opened it. To conclude: monkey Beach is nice from a distance or without bag!!

I had read that Reeve was a must go to because of the food and fire dancer show. I put it on my list to do because I wanted to see "real" fire dancers. Reeve did not disappoint. Absolutely an amazing experience, and I'd say one of the best experiences I have had in Thailand. For me this was a 10 out of 10!! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was chill, the background music was perfect and service was great. I had an Australian ribeye, with a dipping gravy and fries that was cooked to perfection. My significant other had a tuna salad (I forget the actual name), and we both got deserts. The fire dancers were INCREDIBLE!! I could go every night to watch this!! So much fun!! In previous reviews it said fire show started at 7pm, we had a storm that came through and ours started at 7:30pm.

I was looking for a place to take my friend for her birthday. Reviews for this place were amazing so I made reservations. The staff was amazing from start to finish. Poi was our main server and she was just on top of everything. She was at our table before we could ask for her every time. Always smiling and being pleasant. Hana also helped our table and she too was so charming. If you're ever in Krabi, I suggest you stop by even if it's just for a cocktail.

Came to Thailand for Thai cuisine - however we fancied some western food after a long time away. We had the Thai green curry, Beef Massamam and also the Lamb shank pasta- all absolutely incredible in terms of flavour. Service from Sod and Poi fantastic and really enjoyed the scenery (facing ocean table) and Vibey Afro house music in the place. Would highly recommend (food too delicious we ate before taking pics) ☺️

Poi and Hana were out servers today. They were amazing. I did my birthday dinner here and they were very attentive. Even came to sing me happy birthday. The food was amazing. Freshest seafood you’ll have. We made reservations to catch the sunset and let me tell you the view is just gorgeous. Just after 6pm, the saxophone player comes to set a great ambiance.

Good place to watch sunset. Hidden gem close to the center of Annan beach. They have shuttle service to pick us up from hotel. Food is very delicious. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The vibes and views at this restaurant during sunset were incredible! From beginning to end the service was top notch and very responsive. They even picked us up from our hotel in a free shuttle. We ate the soft shell crab, prawn cakes, BBQ river prawn, grilled seabass and coconut milk ice cream - delicious! Great spot for a romantic, elevated dining experience in Krabi.

Good view, decent food and professional staff. To start off, the ambiance and view is the big selling point for this venue. Tucked into the mountain with a view of the Krabi beach. The interior decor is well designed with a laid back atmosphere to fully take in the ocean breeze from yonder. Food comes out at a good pace without long pauses in between, which is a big plus. Flavor wise, its a quality that is worth visiting for. Price wise, some are decently priced and others not, my only complaint. Service wise the staff are professional and attentive. Cheque came out quick as well. All in all, a must come place with a visit to Krabi.

Ate here last night and it was AMAZING ! I had the pineapple fried rice and my friend had prawns with cashew nuts - both super delicious! The service was caring, warm and welcoming. Really nothing but incredible things to say about this place. Suprisingly it wasn’t crowded at all. We went there during sunset - I highly recommend. I was picked up from my hotel and brought up to this incredible view high in the hills. Greeted with smiles, seated overlooking Ao Nang, savored the sunset & lightening show while sipping a chilled Chardonnay. Had a delicious meal of BBQ Prawns & rice while listening to soft jazz, such an incredible evening. Service was exceptional, a highlight of my time in Thailand. If you are in Ao Nang, you should absolutely enjoy a delicious meal & view.

Amazing dinner at Lae Lay Grill! We got pick up at the hotel and they came very on time! The service is very friendly, and we are well looked after by the staffs. The cutest beach restaurant in Krabi! We came here for lunch and sat outside with the stunning sea view which was amazing. We ordered a spicy mango salad, morning glory stir fry, garlic & pepper pork and a prawn pad thai. All of the food came out very quickly, and the shrimps in the pad thai were probably the freshest ones I've got to taste so far in Thailand. The spicy mango salad was refreshing and spicy just at the right level - they can adjust the heat per request for some of the dishes, so make sure to ask if it's possible for the dishes you order. Although the menu is huge and offers a great variety, I'd recommend focusing on the thai dishes & seafood, as these are the ones that this place specializes at.

Great beach side location, wonderful thai food, we ate here a couple of times whilst we were in Krabi and food was always consistently good quality. Get there early to nab a beach side table in the evening especially to appreciate the the sunset.

Beautiful place near the beach. For the sunset you can make a reservation. Otherwise you might sit somewhere in a second or third line which is fine but first row gets best view. Service - not so good, waitresses not so friendly and most of them doesn’t speak english. Food is ok. We ate crab curry (very spicy) and river prawns (you get only 3 prawns, so you better take garlic bread and a fresh salad on side). All in all not bad:)

We came here twice and loved it, great range of vegetarian food and meat dishes, really good vegetarian massaman curry and they have 3 dogs going around that looked well cared for by them which was great! Good cocktails

Ra Beung Lay Seafood Restaurant is a hidden gem just off the beaten path and absolutely worth the detour. We dined right on the beach with a stunning sea view – the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, with generous portions; the garlic sea bass was especially delicious. Service was quick and genuinely friendly, with staff taking time for a relaxed chat. We ended with what might be the best mango sticky rice in Thailand — warm, tender rice and perfectly ripe mango. Highly recommended for anyone staying nearby!

Nice place for sunset, away from the touristic places. Focus on Thai sea food. Mostly local people. Very good price value and a fire show at the weekend and Iive music too. Don't expect an fancy place but a very authentic. Come here and just chill and enjoy! 🌄

A wee bit off the main beach area, more easily accessible via transport, so be weary if you try to walk there. Ambiance wise, the restaurant is located by the beach with a nice shoreline for any company. Absent of garbage (as of my visit). Do careful around night time for mosquitoes. Food is good with a wide varied menu, all dishes ordered were delicious and fresh. Service was attentive and fast. Overall, a worth visit for decent seafood at Krabi.

Pros: Good prices Friendly staff Amazing view Large selection of dishes Tasty drinks Cons: Our dishes were quite oily The squid was overcooked and hard to chew The crab and shrimp weren’t cleaned (that’s pretty common for shrimp here), the crab was quite difficult to clean and eat We’d still love to come back and try the sea bass, since they have a big selection of dishes with it.

A very nice Mexican restaurant right next to the main street. We came for late lunch and wanted to try as many dishes as possible, so we went for a sharing meal. For starter we ordered chicken nachos that probably weren't the best nachos I've ever had, but the chicken was kind of dry. The caesar salad we ordered had very little to do with the classic caesar salad we all know, and it was swimming in oil so we left most of it and didn't even finish the dish. The main dishes were mush better, so if you'e planning on visiting here I'd recommend skipping straight to the mains. We ordered their famous birria tacos that was super spicy but very delicious. Lastly, we also tried their quesadilla roja with chicharron (pork). The pork had a lot of fat, but once I took it out it was very delicious with real mexican flavors.

Mexican food that didn't disappoint! My partner had the birria tacos and the flavor was delightfully en pointe! I had the fish rice bowl. It was also delicious but his birria satisfied the homesickness I was feeling. The hostess along with the other waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant deco and music passed the Latin vibe check and I felt transported to a Mexican joint in San Diego!

Sorry that we only came across this place on our last night in Ao Nang! The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all amazing. Definitely one of the best meals I have had while travelling. The staff went above and beyond for the customers and the live music was amazing!! Cannot recommend this place more.

The Mexican beef barbacoa is so good—melts in your mouth and packed with flavor! All the other stuff’s fresh and tasty too. The wine my sister suggested? So nice, it got me tipsy right away… haha. Had such a fun night, definitely check this spot out!

One of the best places we ate in Ao Năng! The service is amazing, so friendly and efficient, and the food is fantastic; the beef birria quesadilla, the taco roll ups and the chicken wings are delicious. Live music on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday….great deals on two-for-one margaritas, too! Big Mama is the manager, and she went out of her way to welcome us and made sure we were happy with everything. A fantastic place, we’ll be back again!

Night market in Krabi is an excellent place to spend your time in the evenings. Has all kinds of food stalls. With very good menu options for all. You can shop eat and listen to live music and get your children to play.

We obviously had to cancel our dinner plans!! 😅 There's plenty of thai food and other variety of authentic street food options for non vegeterians. Apart from the eateries, there are fun play sections for the kids. Bouncy castle, etc right in the center of the Night Market. Plenty of Shopping options, but we've seen better prices and variety in markets in Bangkok. Frankly only exciting things were hand carved and hand made items. Didn't get a chance to click more photos, but you'll get the gist. Oh! Before I forget there’s also a Muai Thai Boxing Arena in the night market, they charge about 1200baht for entry.

Underrated beach, part of me wanted to rate one star so that nobody goes, however the vendors and locals on ton sai deserve recognition for their warmth and they deserve business! The place is incredible and my visit in low season was almost completely alone.

This is a very quiet beach, with little shade. It's not ideal for swimming, when the tide is low you can see the entire area is full of rocks. There is a 10 min path on the end that takes you to railay though, where you can swim. When the tide is low, you can also walk over the rocks to railay, but they looked very sharp

Beautiful secluded beach, can be accessed by the beach nature trail from Railay or by boat/kayak. Lots of people rock climbing along the cliff face. There is a mini mart on the beach and a cafe/bar too. Up one end of the beach you can ask the locals for a boat ride to Railay, it seems cheaper on this side. You can rent kayaks on the beach. In 2016 Sheraton Hotel bought the beach facing land and planned on building a huge hotel here, and then built a massive concrete fence around where it was going to be, forcing locals to move to behind the wall, and then abandoned this plan, leaving the wall. There are two average ‘resorts’ at the front. Behind this wall the shops and town is very tired and run down, probably put out by the wall building and pushed away from the beach. If you visit here, go for a walk behind the wall and visit the shops, go to mama chicken! Buy some food and water from these shops… check out the graffiti on the wall.

In general looks like it’s amazing place but… boat service is a joke, if there is not much ppl ( with is most of time) u will pay much more than 100 per person, if u want to go back later from some trip. Will be a problem with boat at all. There is only one bar I can recommend as they are really nice ppl it’s papa coffe house. Rest just see u as wallet and if there is occasion they will suck u up from anything. ( I dropped some cash accidentally and free seconds later I turned and it magically evaporated while two locals ware standing there) problems with internet or WiFi is standard, and place itself is not that amazing as it’s looks on paper, better to get hotel in Krabi town

One of my fav beaches in Thailand. You can’t drive to it, but the hike to it is soo worth it. Don’t miss it if you go to Railay

Beautiful beach, but the sand is not nearly as nice is Railay beach (its much rockier here). Very little shade to hide from the sun. The hike from Railay beach is about 10 minutes and the first part is a bit sketchy... I imagine that tourists get hurt here once in a while slipping on the very jagged rocks.

Cons: Limited public parking, and much of the beachfront is occupied by luxury resorts, which can restrict access. Overall, a fantastic spot for a peaceful getaway — especially if you enjoy nature and fewer crowds.

Tubkaek Beach is super peaceful 🌅 Not crowded at all, calm water and stunning view of the islands on the horizon. Perfect spot to chill, watch the sunset, or just take a quiet walk on the sand. If you’re looking for a relaxing beach vibe away from the busy tourist spots, this is the place.

We’ve stayed here for two nights. Feels great. The experience definitely fits the price. The beach are clam and we’ve seen one of the most beautiful sunsets here. Marked.

We visited this beach on August and it was just us! It was very quiet! Mind that there is no bar or street food close by so you need to bring your stuff. Easy to reach by scooter Watch out when you bath as my boyfriend got pinched by we-don’t-know-what and he had an irritation for some days

Beautiful, quiet beach. White sand and plenty of restaurant / food choices along the beach. Highly recommend this beach. Even when we went to other beaches we kept comparing it back to Tubkaek. Lovely view of all the little islands out in the distance. Only thing I'd mention is the tide (high/low) check the tide before you go. Posted pictures of high and low tide. Luckily for us it was high tide at 11 and by 3.30 it was turning to low tide. You have to walk quite a bit out to swim. Will definitely return here during our week stay.

Beautiful beach, very quiet with a handful of bars serving excellent drinks and food. Yes, at low tide the sea goes out, but at high tide it's very good for swimming and just beautiful. If concerned just google the tide times before you go. I have shown pictures of the tide high and low, both are stunning.

Beautiful and good beach, clean water and good sand. the shore is a little stony but long enough. Quiet and peaceful, very few people. There are hotel cafes near the beach where you can eat and drink. There is a woman who sells fruits and coconuts. It is quite difficult to find the access due to private resorts, but you can find it near by the Tub Kaek Sunset Beach resort.

First time in Thailand and visited this restaurant as a group of 10. We were all a little nervious about getting food poisoning during our visit to the country and so asked for reccomendations from staff members working at Gillhams Fishing lakes who recommended recommended this restaurant. All in all it was a good experience. All food was served hot and beautifully presented and tasted great - we were pleasantly surprised. I personally had ribeye steak and had it cooked well done (I usually have rare but again, wanted to minimalise any chances of food poisoning). Despite it being cooked well done it was still beautifully tender and fst wss rendered well. The peppercorn sauce was also one of the best ive had. If I come back to Ao Nang, I'd definitely visit this restaurant again.

The most unfriendly service I’ve experienced in Thailand – not a single smile and the waitress looked annoyed the entire time. The restaurant itself isn’t appealing. What might seem like a charming terrace is actually unbearably NOISY, with a loud water pump running constantly and traffic passing just meters away. No parking nearby. The meat was good but overall overpriced (same price in Europe) for the quantity and quality – side dishes were tiny and we left still hungry. Definitely wouldn’t return. There are far better steak restaurants within five minutes’ drive, offering bigger portions, better quality, a warm welcome and a much nicer setting.

So happy we found this place. You have a choice to sit inside or outside. Starters come with 2 small pieces of hot bread, sliced cheese & tomato and amazing tasting dips. We ordered ribeye & a tenderloin. Both cooked to perfection & served with individual salad plates and choice of side & sauce. Quality of steak very good and presentation immaculate. The owner clearly knows what he is doing. Service was efficient, well presented, but a couple of them could be a little more outgoing. All in all a fantastic meal ... thank you

We visited the restaurant after reading many positive reviews. The place is nicely decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere and light background music. We ordered the beef carpaccio as a starter, which was very tasty. The salads were fresh but nothing special. The mushroom soup was excellent. The steak was tender and flavorful, but the baked potato served with it was small and undercooked. The rice was quite plain. The round bread rolls were a bit dry, but when we mentioned it to the staff, they kindly replaced them with garlic bread, which was much better. We also had the “Efron Spritz” drink – it was refreshing and enjoyable. Overall, we had a good experience. Prices are on the expensive side. My son was happy with his meat dish, while I enjoyed parts of the meal but found some items less satisfying. As a nice gesture, we were served a complimentary Limoncello with the bill, which was delicious.

Excellent restaurant with smiling service, I had yellow curry and red curry, both dishes were delicious and of course mango sticky rice as dessert could not be missed. fantastic flavors, I recommend! the restaurant is easy to find, there is a line of people waiting for a table in front of the entrance. I would recommend booking a table in advance, but I don't know if it is possible.

I had an amazing experience at Jungle Kitchen. Clearly not a tourists attraction, but very authentic and good cuisine. The atmosphere is not chaotic and absolutely welcoming. I enjoyed my yellow curry with seafood. It was too spicy for me, so the stuff immediately fixed it so I could be comfortable eating it. I would definitely go back!

The food here was delicious! Me and my boyfriend share the cheesy garlic bread and tempura shrimp for starter which was delicious! And we both got the sirloin steak for our main which was cooked to perfection! I got the lava cake for dessert which was the best way to finish off the meal! The staff were very friendly and we sat at the front of the restaurant so lots to see! I would definitely recommend eating here!!

We had an amazing dinner! Everything since we first stepped in was taken care of with highly professional and warm attitude. While asian cuisine is nice you cant beat a good steak! Very refreshing experience after eating stir fried varieties for a week :) Place is clean, without any smells lingering from the kitchen or toilet and definitely higher standard in the area while keeping the price reasonable for what it is. Of course this ia a tourist spot and therefore targets this sector so likely not full of locals if you are after that. Id say if you are a tourist in the area and want to take a break from chicken and rice you must go here. They also have wide range of wines and beers from europe which we could not try because on diet :× At the toilet it seems all establishments in asia are using very smelly chlorine based solution or tablet that outright smells like darkness. It would be better to use nice(er) aroma here, but that is relatively small detail.

Incredible place to eat out while in krabi, we drove on a motorcycle for 30 minutes but was worth it! The place is very good , they are very aware of allergies and well prepared! The can make almost any dish gluten free so this was our second visit. Garlic bread with cheese they made a split dish so we both can enjoy. The cesar salad made gluten free incredible Pasta was perfectly cooked and high quality We even took some bread with us and some cookies they make all in house. The staff is so nice and do understand English very well. They have chocolate lava cake also gluten free made in house INCREDIBLE!! Must visit this place but one visit is not enough to enjoy every bit of this amazing place *They even wash the veggies with mineral water

German restaurant serving all the classics and some Thai dishes. Nice atmosphere and huge beer selection. It’s located in the main road, just a few walking minutes from the beach. We had a chicken breast with fries. My girlfriend didn’t like it so much. A bit too dry for her. But I really enjoyed it. Very German. Haha. And the fries were crunchy. Very nice service and nice patio.

Felt like a Steak as I was eating Thai food everyday so I popped in here. Got a Ribeye with Fries and a Salad Buffet. Food was amazing, loads of choice in the Fresh Salad Bar and stayed for a coffee. Was early so it wasn't too busy hence the 4 Star for Atmosphere. Would definitely recommend the Steaks, they have a great selection too 🤗

Food was delicious and great service provided by staff. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Steak was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and continuous influx of people so easy to see it is a popular restaurant. This was our first night in Ao Nang so we will be back!

Good beach for jogging/exercise. You just need to monitor the tide times as the is no beach at high tide , could do with a regular clean as lots of rubbish/ plastic bottles wash up every day ( not a good look)

The absolute scenic landmark, the limestone cliffs, and the lagoons have stunning beauty—the best beach in Krabi. Noppharat Thara Pier is near the beaches. Ten minus walks from Noppharat Thara beach to reach the iconic sign Hatnoppharat Thara. The beach has eye-soothing views with a place for taking Instagram photos. This is the place that I want to go to Krabi, again.

A long beach in the Krabi area, that is very popular. If swimming or bathing, it is very safe because of the shallowness. This means it can take a lot of walking to get to enough water to swim in. If you just want to do some walking by a beach, 'Hat Noppharat Thara' has some good shaded pathways running its length. It's worth going to the pier at the end where the boats come and go. Very photogenic.

We went to 4 islands on a Long Tail Boat : 1. The first island we went had a cave 2. Ko Poda Island 3. Chicken/Turkey island - don't remember the last island. All of these islands had a mesmerizing views.

Nice view here and a walk or bike ride from Ao Nang hotels. Can also get motorboats to phi phi/4 island toor or also charter a private boat which is the best option. Proces are also clearly stated on the board and its easy to choose from there

Tremendous beach. Long, wide, clean, with paved shaded way to walk by. It is way better than Ao Nang beach.

We tried 4 different restaurants in railay and this one was by far the best. We ended up eating there three times during our stay cause it was that good! Its also very fairly priced when compared to the other restaurants we ate, so I would definitely recommend you try it. We had various dishes in different occasions - prawn dumplings, fish BBQ, pad thai, papaya salad, crab fried rice and deed fried prawns with chilli sauce. I loved all of these as they were super fresh and tasty. My personal favourites was the deep fried prawns with chilli sauce and the fish BBQ. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it!

The restaurant is huge and there are lots of tables available for dine in. The decoration is also very nice. There are various foods available. What I can say is that the food is delicious. Went here for a lunch and I ordered the cheapest fried rice with no expectations at all but it turned out to be very delicious. The portion is fair and the price is very reasonable considering the location and logistic challenge to arrive here. The service is also good, the waiter is nice and the waiting time is not too long. The restaurant is clean and the environment is very comfortable. Suitable to hang out with friends and family. Recommendedm

We loved this restaurant and went back a second time. The menu is huge and has really good veggie options. Both times we loved our dishes, full of flavour and freshness. The staff are very nice and helpful. The bbq chicken was exceptional!

We were very happy with our dinner at the Mangrove restaurant tonight. There are many dishes available and seems more reasonably priced than a lot of other restaurants on Railay. We ordered Kao Soi and Som Tham and Pad Thai with a mango and mango/passionfruit smoothie. Everything was delicious. Portions were good/generous. They ask how spicy you like it and provided chilis so I could decide how much to add to the soup. The service is very friendly and kind and there is lots of seating available. Food arrived quickly. We will be coming back! Edit: Came back again for a second time because we visited other places and just didn’t get food as good as here. The place was BUMPING busy but the food still arrived quickly. Stop looking for a good place to eat Thai food in Railay Bay— this is it! Another edit: (came back five times) HONOURABLE MENTIONS OF WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER: - any of the set menus with the smoothie (I recommend the Kao Soi with a mango/passion fruit smoothie) - grilled chicken - fish in Penang curry sauce - grilled squid - any of the stir fries (we like chicken in basil sauce)

This was one of our favorite meals in Thailand! We were only in Railay Beach for three days and we went twice. We highly recommend the fried cashew chicken, the Panang curry, and the espresso frappe!

It is a pity because the restaurant was full when we arrived (my wife and I) but very bad quality of food and service. Unfortunately I ordered a ham and cheese pizza and it came obviously with a frozen base and instead of tomato sauce, simply ketchup. I tasted only the first clove and left all of the pizza. When I told the staff they told me that they give a lot of pizzas and I am the only one complained. Sorry but this is insulting instead of saying being sorry for not serving what you should have. There are other much better restaurants in the area, even for pizza, who shored me the real home made base before they baked the pizza Sorry guys, the food is good abs the bad is bad. This was not a pizza, but something really bad and bad service as they forced me to pay something I did not eat in the end…

We are at May & Zin for the 2nd time today. It was again absolutely worth it. We were welcomed with some complementary fish cakes with sweet chilli sauce. Our meal was served so fast, we were surprised ourselves at how efficient the service was. The pineapple fried rice is highly recommended, cost 180baht and it smelled and tasted so good, with generous amount of prawns (7 in total!). Our meal cost us 575 baht. Ya'll gotta visit this place. It's so worth itm

After being dropped off in Aonang at our hotel. All that we wanted was Thai food. It had been a long day of travel. We saw 1 open table for 2 at May and Zin. Food incredible. Great relaxed atmosphere and extremely good staff. Very reasonable prices comparing to the beach and is a great place to grab a quick meal before grabbing the shuttle to the Muay Thai fights. It’s our favourite restaurant in Aonang.

Average taste, just like typical thai restaurant. Crab fried rice could be better. The fried rice is precooked and taste bland. Fried fish with garlic was fresh and good. But the menu booklet and table cover is smelly and dirty. The hygiene is questionable.

Our first lunch spot in Krabi and it was perfect. Had hot Tom Yum and Tom Kha chicken over looking the streets or Ao Nang with drizzles of rain. Absolutely beautiful. The coconut drink was refreshing. We were served by Mood, this gorgeous lady. So sweet, polite and accommodating. Loved the vibe, loved the food and loved the service! Highly recommended! Oh and it's halal!

We had a meal at this halal restaurant in Aonang, Krabi and the food was absolutely delicious! They even served us complimentary snacks and fruits, which was such a sweet gesture. We ordered the chicken salad and beef larb, and both were super tasty! Definitely recommend this place if you’re around Aonang.

We had mango salad with fried sea bass, omelette and pineapple fried rice! Also got free watermelon and something fried (not sure what that is) the food might be a little leas flavourful but overall the experience was fine! The service is great for sure!

Staying at Railay hilltop so this is right at the bottom of the steps for us. Great food for a really affordable price, tasted delicious and good sized portions. Also the mango smoothie was soo good we ordered another one! Highly recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner!!

What a dynamic and fun bar, exceptional in every way. Husband and wife team running the show with her behind the bar providing quick and attentive service and he doing everything else from organizing the Muay Thai fights to then turning into a really good DJ, like really good!! This bar/club/Muay Thai arena has an incredible vibe with a killer one man fire show as the cherry on top. That guy was BADASS!!! Highly recommend when in Railay!!

What an amazing find on the opposite end of the island for us! We loved eating right on the water. So relaxing and peaceful, especially when all the tourists have gone home for the night. Absolutely need to eat here if you are staying over on the island. Super friendly aunties running the show. The lights actually went out on us for a few minutes but they had it up and running again in no time. Made for a memorable experience!

Great place for no frills, cheap & good eats, smoothies, & beer, nice staff, & a good view. We ate here lunch & dinner for 3 of our 5 days in Railay East. Would have ate there all 5 days if they weren’t closed for a much needed break. We had spring rolls, pad Thai, drunken noodles, cashew chicken & pizza. All were good. Sad we didn’t get to try more. Their English is iffy, so you won’t get into a deep conversation, but nice people nonetheless.

We didn’t know what we’d find on the other side of the island, but this place has such a great view and I thought it was better than all of the other restaurants on the island from a quality perspective. The man serving the tables is also great at making sure you’re taken care of.

This cave is a brief but interesting stop on the Maya Bay tour, where visitors can admire its beauty from the outside. Entry is not allowed, so it’s more of a quick photo opportunity rather than an exploration spot. The stop usually lasts around 5 minutes, enough to appreciate its natural charm. A nice addition to the tour itinerary!

Couldn’t come inside Viking Cave due to a restriction for preservation of bird’s nest s according to an explanation by our tour guide. Instead of exploring the cave we enjoyed snorkeling near there, while some of our party went around outside the cave hiring Viking look boat operated by local people.

We seen the viking cave on a day excursion. We was on a boat trip , l99ks like it would of been good if you could go inside but unfortunately your not aloud for safety . Beautiful surroundings .

You are not allowed to enter the cave anymore because it is home to swiftlet birds, which make nests from their saliva. Apparently these nests are edible too. The caves have ancient paintings which resemble the Viking shops hence the name.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much. But when I got there I was honestly blow away. It’s a natural work of wonder and a sight to behold. I would recommend anyone going to Phi Phi to take a boat trip out here. 10/10 worth it!

Lovely vegetarian restaurant with quick service and friendly staff. Can choose to sit inside at a table or on the floor (cushioned) or there's a few tables on the balcony - this is where we sat and on reflection I would sit inside as there is a weed shop below which doesn't offer the best smells whilst eating. The food was authentic, tasty and the price was modest in consideration to other places on the strip

Govinda's is one of the very few pure Vegeterian restaurants in Krabi. We went there for lunch with our friends who are jains and the management understood all of their requirements and made food as per request. The concept is pure, and extremly deep routed in Hindu culture. They also ask you to remove your footwear outside like it is so in all Indian homes. They have tables with chairs as well as floor sitting with cushions for those who want to immerse into the culture fully. As far as the food is concerned, The Food was tasty and well made. It wasn't oily or too spicy. They have decent varieties of food as well as a Buffet menu for 350Baht per person. The restaurant is centrally located in the vicinity of the Krabi beach center. Extremly easy to reach from Ao Nang Beach or neighboring areas. Cons: Few elderly customers may find it difficult to climb the stairs to the restaurant. They may miss an item you ordered, so always double check and confirm your order when they are writing it down. They have aircon systems, but even during lunch hours, it's mostly switched off. However they have ample of fans and it feels airy & comfortable with large openings for fresh air. Overall, It's a nice nostalgic Indian Restaurant to visit for authentic Indian food.

As prospective traveller, we had come across Govinda's in virtually every list for vegetarians travelling to Krabi. The ambience is a welcome change to the other restaurants in Krabi, however the flavour of the food lacked any punches. They have an economical budget on offer, with a special pricing for kids.

What can I tell you about this place, I don't know may have been to 1000+ restaurants across World, but this place is something different. I think it is because it is truly devoted to Krishna. Pure food, pure people and wonderful atmosphere. This is calmness to chaos. People who are seeking good Indian food, should not miss it at all. Specially people who are vegtarian, this place is a no brainer. Went there for 2 days. The quote which stayed with me is Be kind to every kind. ❤️ Happy to partner with owner for more such places.

Food here is really good but keep this in mind they don’t serve you Onions & Garlic in any of the food items so don’t get disappointed afterwards. Service is really slow but it’s fine if you have enough time . There are tables on which you can sit or else sitting on the floor is also available .

One of the most amazing Restuarant in krabi. Menu is indo thai and best part is everything is pure jain here so no risk of outside local oils. The food and service is appreciated, the indian gravys and thai food is delicious. Everything we ordered was insanely delicious my taste buds were celebrating the whole time. The place has a cozy vibe, and everyone was super kind. If you love Indian food (or even if you’ve never had it), this place is a must. Easily the best Indian food I have ever had. Definitely coming back.

Definitely not for the faint hearted as has been said by many others, you must have enough confidence to go up and down unprotected straight up climbing walls. Wear shoes and be careful and it's definitely doable if you are fit. 1000x worth it though, so beautiful and hidden. Just know that no one will come and save you if you get hurt😹

Very steep and slippery ascent and descent — it involves some basic climbing skills and the use of ropes. That said, the reward at the end is absolutely worth it: a refreshing, beautiful blue lagoon! Important tips: Don’t attempt it in flip-flops, during or after rain, or if you're afraid of heights. Use caution: follow the 'three points of contact' rule (e.g., always keep one hand on the rope or rock). If you're reasonably fit and follow the safety tips, you should be fine. A guide isn’t necessary, but if you’re unsure of your climbing ability, it might be a good idea.

it's a real good hike. steep. wear proper shoes. not for people scared of heights or cannot rock climb. it's steep, it's physical, but my kids (>10y) made it down and back up, if they know climbing.

This would qualify more as climbing than hiking at some parts! Especially for the average person that doesn’t do sports. I would recommend to wear sports shoes and adequate clothing. Refrain from going if it is raining, if you are alone or if you have kids with you. Some parts can be slippery and quite steep so beware of that. Down at the lagoon there is no phone reception. Although it can be tricky at times, the view was worth it. Since not many people manage to get there, you can enjoy the peacefulness of the setting. Apart from us, there were only two other people at the lagoon so we really enjoyed it.

When reviews say this climb is tough and challenging, multiply that by a million. I'm a regular person, I used to work out but haven't in over a year for various reasons and this was THE hardest thing i have ever done in my 28 years of life. I ended up slipping one cliff away from the lagoon, bonked my head on the rocks and i have gnarly bruises all over my legs and arms, i cried because that was terrifying especially because there's no guides around or safety measures except some muddy ropes along the way to "help" you climb (i slipped using the rope but there wasn't any good footing in this particular part), HOWEVER after being cheered on by some amazing people who were also enduring this insane adventure, I made it to the lagoon and it was so worth it. The view is breathtakingly gorgeous, unlike anything I've ever seen before. The water is so warm, the ground is squishy but it's fairly shallow throughout the lagoon. There's a lot of sharp rocks at the base so it's hard to walk on but the lagoon is so fricken beautiful it was worth banging up my entire body for. I don't have pics from inside the lagoon because i didnt bring my waterproof case that day but if you are intrigued by the other photos i took and think you are capable of doing some insane rock climbing without any gear or safety precautions but your own self, i definitely recommend. This is not for everyone, not for most people honestly, looking back i probably should not have gone but i persevered and made it out alive and experienced the most beautiful, secluded, calm waters in thailand! If you do attempt this climb, please please please wear proper shoes because it's muddy and slippery which adds to the challenge of holding onto the rope and rocks with all your grip strength! Very fricken gorgeous lagoon though. The climbing down is what got me, climbing up is easier because I feel like you have more control and gravity isn't waiting for you to put too much pressure on one side of your body to take you tumbling down😅 *also to add on, i started climbing at 2:30pm and got to the lagoon at 4, and got back to flat land at 5. If you are extremely athletic and an expert rock climber you probably won't be on the trk for 3hrs like i was but if you're normal, be prepared to spend a lot of time heading to the lagoon. Coming back is much quicker and less dangerous than getting there in my opinion. *

Beautiful spot if you can get to it but definitely not a trail for the faint hearted. I was advised many times to turn around as the trail requires many points of relying only on your ability to pull yourself up or lower yourself down by the ropes. The good thing is that the ropes although some are old are extremely secure and you can rely on them well (which is needed). By the end I felt like a pro rock climber. Definitely worth it for the swim at the bottom (although watch out for your feet on sharp rocks)

I went into Lagoon the day after heavy rain. I highly recommend not to do it if you are not skilled with a little bit of climbing. It is slippery, don’t go without snickers, flipflops might be ok to the view point, but not Lagoon. If you have ever climbed, also sport climbing at least 4-5+ there will be no problem. There are three steep sectors 6 m long also equipped with the rope, which in my case was rather tricky because the ropes were muddied and slippery, so use normal climbing logic. You have plenty of big holds, also for the foot, so in combination really no problem. If you aren’t skilled with climbing just stick to the rope and use legs to walk down slowly over the rocks…don’t do it after the rain… On the other hand the piece of adrenaline was the thing that was worth doing it for, because the Lagoon itself didn’t offer that much, also I couldn’t swim because the water is too low and it was also pretty muddy…the viewpoint is nice and there I thing no climbing or hiking experience is needed, just be careful and enyoj

Highs and lows. The nature is beautiful and the snorkeling fantastic the east reef is accessible and positively teeming with life. Whilst there is some food and drink to be had, it's very expensive and of poor quality. A word of caution though, when we visited there were some pretty aggressive fishes in abundance, probably nesting time, they could absolutely nip you if you didn't steer clear, could even draw blood.

Visited during our 4-island tour from Krabi and absolutely loved the stop at Chicken Island. The snorkeling experience was enjoyable with clear waters and vibrant marine life. The scenery was beautiful and the overall vibe of the island was peaceful. A nice experience overall – highly recommended!

We went on early December 2024. We didn't land to chicken island but boat entry for snorkeling. Not many kinds of fish but we could see spool of yellow and silver fish. We chartered private long tail boat and spend here for 30 mins.

Small island named for its odd rock formation, offering secluded beaches, snorkeling & a snack bar. Mostly in 4 island tours We cover this from the boat only means they only showed from the boat and don't allow it to get down on this island.

Beautiful place for snorkelling with lots of marine creatures and colorful fishes. The corals were really beautiful. Out of 7 island trips visited, this was the best spot for snorkelling though being deep compared to other places. I really loved this place

What an amazing experience getting to see all these islands and snorkeling. You will find tons of fish sea urchins and other underwater life. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Thailand, just check the weather for rain and head on out it is a full day event.

Very beautiful and amazing bay. Picturesque bay where most of the photos on long tail boats are being captured. The water is so crystal clear and turquoise in color. Usually bit busy with all boat approaching and anchoring for around 30 mins while people could take swim in water( snorkeling as well).

Positive: Lovely turquoise water surrounded by green limestone mountains. Can swim here but need water shoes! Negative: Rocks very sharp! Also be careful as I got bitten by some fish! Too crowded at times and somewhat dirty with some not so civic minded idiots who throw things into the water

It's a paradise in Thailand where limestone cliffs merge with Turquoise, transperant waters. Snorkeling and swimming here is really amazing. Must visit place in Thailand.

Another stunning bay. We were able to snorkel within the bay and we tried to enjoy every moment we had. The water is beautiful and the way in which the cliffs rise up and surround the location make it seem as if you're tucked away within. An amazing experience.

my husband and i visited this bay while on a tour of the phi phi islands. it was very beautiful and swimming here was lovely. however, this area is very crowded and busy. there are a lot of boats entering and leaving the bay. the landscapes were stunning and marvelous.

Pileh Bay is absolutely stunning—a true natural wonder with crystal clear, turquoise water surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs. The water is so clean and calm that it feels like swimming in a giant natural pool, and it’s very safe for both swimming and snorkeling. I loved how peaceful it was; you can just float, relax, and take in the incredible scenery all around you. There’s plenty of marine life to spot if you bring a snorkel, and the whole place has a magical, secluded vibe. If you’re visiting the Phi Phi Islands, don’t miss Pileh Bay—it’s easily one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever seen.

Starbucks was nice as always. I got free cake here because of the anniversary, it was nice. The staff were really nice here. I did notice the prices here are more than usual prices in Bangkok but i think that's normal for tourist destinations ig?

The coffee is a bit pricier than in Bangkok, but the service is as good as ever — up to their usual standard. The staff are very attentive; they even remembered me after just one visit!

Nice, clean & airconditioned Starbucks with a nice atmosphere. Iced Coffee decaf was fair, oatmeal cookie nice - very sweet. Bit weird to be drinking from a hard plastic cup with a plastic straw.

This is a nice Starbucks. It’s prices are the same as they’d be in the UK, if not a little more expensive. The air con is great, the place is clean and the food and coffee is amazing. My only criticism would be that they advertise the shaken espresso with oat milk drink as an item, but then charge extra for the oat milk which is a bit cheeky. That said, I’d come back here as it has a calm and relaxed environment.

It is an OK shopping center. There are some clothes for in my opinion a high price compared to where I’ve seen close and other places. I did find some black pants for 80 B which I was looking for… The food court had about eight different choices.And the price at the food court was reasonable.

Good place to buy anything you need. It has a supermarket, all kinds of shops, and a cheap food court, where you can have cheap Thai food. I think it is a good option if you want to spend some time buying stuff, or walking around.

Good shopping place in Krabi town, plenty of deals and really good quality items available here. They also provide vat refund receipts to be used in airport for purchase above 2000 THB

This was a fun discovery during our last trip to Krabi. They were stocking stuff that were long sold out and discontinued in other places so this is a breath of fresh air to find.

Considering this is the only place that resembles a shopping mall it is a last resort. In my opinion it doesn’t have much but I’m sure for a small town like Krabi this is where it’s popping. If you really want to go shopping sure come here but the fancier place would be the Big C hyper market. The neighborhood is nice as there are cool restaurants and things to do around the area but I don’t need to come back. Most people here don’t speak English as well. Hope this was helpful. They have Levi store, bags, KFC.

Stopped at the first coffee club down the road from our hotel. We had a fruit smoothie & an ice chocolate overload. Such a hard choice as everything looked tasty. Impressed by the food menu, we came back for lunch at this cafe right by Ao Nang beach. Chicken drumsticks were top notch. My noodle Tom Yum was amazing. I also couldnt resist the coconut coffee cream. Everything was a 10/10! The staff were so friendly and kind.

The Coffee Club Ao Nang Nice spot for breakfast or a coffee break. Good menu with both Thai and Western options, tasty coffee, and friendly service. Prices are a bit higher than local cafés, but worth it for the comfort and reliable quality.

I only had a coffee so I cannot comment on the food. Air conditioning is a good temperature not too freezing. It’s a good location right opposite the beach just before the corner turns left to take you to the largest shops and restaurants Plenty of room inside. A very nice cafe with really good and perfectly brewed coffee. The cafe is located on the main street that runs right by Ao Nang Beach, near a McDonald's. The cafe consists of a main hall, a mezzanine, and a few tables outside, which is a great option for those who don't like strong air conditioning, especially in the evenings. The service is very friendly.

My fiance and I were greeted with respect! The place was clean and food was good! Would definitely recommend this place to stop by at! Serves good variety of drinks as well as food (both snacks and meals)

We went to have breakfast, I ordered an omelet with truffle (it was ok), there is a menu with a variety of things but there are some things that were missing but okay. I liked the place and ai would be happy to eat there again. the down side is that they a bit slow

I literally tried the four highest reviewed places before coming to Massage Corner on my last day and omg it was AMAZING. I’m someone that has had many knots in my shoulders and always go for a hard deep tissue massage. Booked this place due to amazing reviews and maybe there is a reason for it in case you go for massage, but I was unlucky one to select wrong procedures. I went for facial massage and waxing, which I can’t recommend. During the facial massage I wasn’t advised and didn’t expect to have any stretching of my body hence I didn’t remove my dress, later at home I saw that the dress is damaged. It also reminded me more of masks treatment rather than a massage, which was expected. Waxing result was 1/5 and one of the most painful experience I’ve ever had for more than 10+ years of doing the same routine. I believe that this place is good for massage (it was very nice welcoming with water and tea+cookies afterwards), but I don’t want this experience again.

To unfold the knots in our muscles after a long haul flight, we booked a 2 hour massage. It was amazing, we're happy we went with the "soft to medium" pressure version as it can be painful in parts of your body. They do ask you if the pressure is okay and of course you can tell them if it's too hard or soft. It's definitely worth a visit and we'll be back later during our stay!

This beach is used for a stop over by many island hoping boats. Uts a nice place to relax. Wish I had researched a bit more and booked a beach front room here. I recommend staying around here to explore the beautiful island than doing island hoping tour.

Ton Sai beach forms the main gateway to the island- where ferries dock. This beach is lined with shops, bars, dive centres and climbing outfitters. Framed by towering limestone cliffs, it offers scenic view and water activities. It was a bit crowded when we visited during the month of August. But overall it was a good experience.

One of the most famous beaches in Koh Phi Phi. It's probably not the cleanest, but we visited not during the high season, so it might depend on that as well. There are some areas that are packed with people, but you can also find areas that are quieter if you're looking for some peace & to be far away from noisy tourists. Although the water weren't the cleanest, the beach itself is still beautiful and offers great views of the coastline, and I"d definitely recommend paying it a visit when you're in Koh Phi Phi.

Very busy beach, as many others have mentioned it's a very common lunch stop for the cruise boats to Phi Phi island It's typically a one to just under 1.5hour lunch stop, which doesn't allow much time to check out the view points

I visited Ton Sai Beach in Thailand this May, and it was an amazing experience. The beach is peaceful, laid-back, and perfect for anyone who loves nature and adventure. I really enjoyed the relaxed vibe, the beautiful cliffs, and the clear blue water. Ton Sai is also popular for rock climbing, and even just watching climbers on the cliffs was exciting. The local restaurants and bars have a friendly, backpacker-style atmosphere, and the whole area feels welcoming and chill. It’s a great place to unwind, explore, and enjoy the natural beauty of Krabi. I would definitely love to visit Ton Sai again

This beach is mini but Mighty. Such a great view, cozy and soo lively place. Must visit of You're exploring Phi Phi.

A small cove with some wild monkeys, it's a short stop on the itinerary of trips to Ko Phi Phi Lee. In the morning, you can get out of the boat into knee-deep water and get closer to the monkeys. When I visited, the monkeys were calm and not aggressive. The place is rather crowded with boats and I recommend it only for a brief stop when sailing by.

This is a must see. The boat ride was extremely bumpy to get to the island. Take motion sickness medications if you are motion sensitive. I am not sensitive at all and was dizzy during the ride. Make sure you take a long boat to get better views once you're out in the sea

Visiting Monkey Bay on Phi Phi Island was an unforgettable experience. The place is absolutely stunning — turquoise water so clear you can see every ripple, limestone cliffs framing the cove, and white sand that glows under the sun. The highlight, of course, is the group of monkeys that call the area home. There are quite a few of them, and while you’re not supposed to feed or touch them, you can get remarkably close — just a few feet away. What stood out the most was how calm and friendly the monkeys were. They weren’t aggressive at all; they just hung out, interacted among themselves, and watched visitors with curiosity. It’s an incredible feeling to be that close to wildlife in such a peaceful tropical setting. I captured plenty of videos and photos that show just how magical it all was — the playful monkeys, the sparkling sea, and the natural beauty surrounding the bay. An absolute must-see if you’re visiting Phi Phi Island!

The monkeys can be quite aggressive. We did this as part of a tour. The tour guide said every other day he was having tourists attacked by monkeys. Glad I got to see them from the boat but think I would feel on edge on the island.

Beautiful spot with lots of monkeys roaming around. It’s fun to watch them, but please don’t feed them—there are signs everywhere and fines for doing so, though I still saw some people feeding the monkeys. Be sure to keep an eye on your belongings, as the monkeys can be quite cheeky. Great place for nature lovers!

Just like the name - the island is full of monkeys. Boat will be docked near the island and one can get down if they wish to. You could see many monkeys clinging to the rocks and would make some hizz sound or aggressive while boats approaching. Make sure no food is in display and visible to the monkeys that would attract them and would jump to the boats to steal them.

A beautiful little spot past the end of the beach. Smooth sand with a few patches of small rocks but an easy walking beach. it seems that you shouldn't leave bags unattended on the beach if you go swimming. There are signs warning of danger of robbery. I felt perfectly safe walking the entire beach and the end is very beautiful, it wraps around the point to a park. Here you can walk among huge trees that have fallen due to the rising sea level. Great views and great exercise.

It felt like much less crowd from the famous Ao Nang beach although it’s just next to the Ao Nang. Large beach, lots of shade , couple of very good benches and huts built for tourists/ visitors. Although there’s warning sign of theft so don’t leave your bags unattended. During the low tide you probably can walk and swim to the island next to it. There s a public area for the boats and all with a very good and clean washroom area. Swimmers were coming here to clean them off with fresh running water. Would come here in the evening.

Nice looking beach, but it isn't worth walking by foot in my opinion. It's the same as the main beach, maybe just a little more quiet. Also be careful with the rocks in the water, you might damage your legs.

I visited on Sunday afternoon. And I was expecting it should be crowded at least with local people. This beach is very long and there was only a few people spread around. I like that section in front of those small islands , so there is no wave and shallow for about maybe 50 to 100 meters. also, there is big area covered by three shadows so you can go and rest there without burning under the sun .

Blue Sea, with rock-formation limestone cliffs, is a mesmerizing view, a breezy, calm, and relaxing beach. The beach sands are filled with seashells, but many benches are shaded with trees. Perfect for sitting calmly and relaxing. There are parking facilities. Overall an excellent spot for taking photos.

Please come visit the puppies on this beach and bring them some food and water (especially water) if you’re able to, they’re so loving and friendly!! We left out some bowls with a small stockpile for people to top up, hopefully these little guys have a happy life, they’re very cute!

If you came from Ao nang Beach, here is the pier the long tail boat will drop with the price of 200 THB return. Beautiful beach, surrounded by some kind of limestone. Beside the beach, There are some chalets and resorts available to stay. Lot of restaurants, cafe, bar, massage, tattoo and souvenir. There are few activities that can be done around here like Kayaking, swimming, rock climbing and hiking. There are also a lot of tourists here. Main transportation here is walking.

From here you can catch a long boat to Ao Nang or other beaches in the area. There is no pier there. The boats just park on the beach. For this reason, be prepared to be wet at least up to your knees. To catch a boat, you have two options. First, you can go to the simple kiosk to the left of the main entrance on Walking Street. Secondly, just head towards the long boats parked on the beach - someone from the staff will definitely see you and take care of the rest. The boat will only sail when 8 people have gathered. The price to reach Ao Nang is 100B per person. The last boat to Ao Nang leaves around 6:00 PM. After this time, you should be ready to negotiate the price directly with the boat owners.

Not a pier per se but the ferry stops and longtail boats come and pick you up from the ferry direct.

The suit is as good as the $$$$ spent at least in Thailand and I would definitely recommend anyone i know who would come to Aonang Krabi interested to buy a suit or 2 not entirely for your price but for your thumbs up salesmanship.

It's been 2 months since Jojo had to deliver my 2 suits for which he has collected the whole amount. However he has not delivered the suits and even not taking calls now. He initially said that he was in hospital and 2 weeks ago he said he had posted the suits. When a friend called him a week ago he said that he will be sending the suits, he has now stopped taking her calls as well. Please do not trust him and go by his word.

The bay looks nice. On low tide the water is just knee high and quite dirty, so that its not really possible to swim. Very crowded during daytime because of the day trip tourists. During night time its quite noisy here because of the loud music of the beach bars.

Lovely beach - we went in the morning and afternoon. Morning was nice and quiet, afternoon was packed but with all the trips that come in for a few hours during the day it does get busy around the island during them times.

Hands down one of the dirtiest beaches I've ever been on besides in the Phillipines. You pay an entry fee to come to Phi Phi, so what does it go to? Plastic, garbage, sewage, all of the above strewn everywhere. Only clean spots were in front of the few businesses that had roped off areas and cleaned their zone. Definitely avoided this and opted to travel via speedboat to the other options around. This is not somewhere you swim, this is a party beach/area and it shows. Yuck.

If you have no budget to go to Maya Bay, you can visit this beach. It is beautiful whether it is on the high tide or low tide. I highly prefer it if it is low tide.

Currently closed to visitors and diving for coral rehabilitation, which was fine with us because it was absolutely beautiful there. Cheers!

A slice of heaven on earth. This beach is pure bliss with its stunning turquoise water, warm and waveless. The soft, white sand is a dream to walk on, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking mountains. A truly heavenly escape!

Amazing beach! You can reach here by walk from town via Long Beach. There are no facilities here so bring your food and drinks. Most people arrive here by boat but they usually stay for 30min and go. Overall the beach is fairly empty and feels more private than other ones. Water is quite shallow and reef starts at about 1-1.5m

We accidentally found this beach while looking for another one my partner had been to years prior. We took an abandoned staircase down after a ridiculous hike (totally our fault) and found it. When we arrived there was one private boat tour present, just lounging on the beach. It looks like the are is semi set up as if there could be a small show and/or bbq bar set up, but wasn’t when we arrived. It’s very quiet, secluded and pretty.

Nothing spectacular here. Got some construction going on. When I went there the waves were pretty big, not the best place for a swim. Maybe it would have been better without the construction. Sorry to say this Google, but Google map is not the best guide to go to the beach lol. Just walk through the resorts and follow the signposts.

You hav to be aware, that sun beds are extra charge - 100 bat. Better take water with you it overpriced - 50 bat per 0,5 l bottle. The beach itself is gorgeous, palms white sand, water - beautiful. If you want to call for a taxi boat - 200 bat per person. There is way to get there through the island, the trip will take you 20-25 minutes, through the garbage and awful road's.
