Extended stay hotel
The Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore is a luxurious property that offers elegant rooms and suites, as well as a lavish day spa and two stylish pools. Lebanese Taverna, located in the Harbor East area of Inner Harbor, provides authentic Lebanese cuisine with a modern atmosphere and waterfront views. The hotel hosts special events like the Mother's Day Tea and Tulips brunch buffet featuring an array of delectable dishes prepared by Executive Chef Tristian Baker.
The hotel is conveniently located near the inner harbor, which makes it a great place to stay if you are traveling from other states. The valet parking is $50 a night with no limits on how many times you take the car out. The hospitality and the friendliness from the staff are on another level. I have been to many hotels, but this Four Seasons in Baltimore was definitely a stand out. My family and I were visiting during 4th of July, so there were a lot of people at the hotel. Regardless of how many people were there, it seemed to me the hotel was capable of handling large volume of people. The only downside was, the elevators took forever to arrive since there were so many people (10-15 minutes), but it is understandable. The view from the hotel was spectacular. We had the premium harbor room overlooking the 'Domino Sugar', and it was the perfect view to watch the fireworks from our hotel room. The hotel even had a fireworks viewing party near the infinity pool overlooking the water. We had the opportunity to use their hot tub and the pool the next day, and it was truly magnificent. The view from the hotel was fantastic and it felt as if we were in a different country. Overall, fantastic hotel and I recommend staying here if you are visiting Baltimore. I would definitely return next year with my family.

Amazing Hotel and Staff – Truly a Royal Experience Our stay was absolutely wonderful — we received the royal treatment from start to finish. The staff were exceptional and truly made this hotel stand out. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with plenty of amenities. My only minor complaint is that the pool had some brown algae stains on the bottom that should be addressed. Aside from that, everything was perfect. An excellent stay in a perfect location — highly recommend!

While searching for hotels for the 12/7 Ravens vs. Pittsburgh game, I came across the Four Seasons Baltimore Hotel. It was a little pricey since the standard rooms were fully booked, but I decided to book it anyway and I’m glad I did! I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Ms. Destiny in the reservations department. She truly embodied the core values of the Four Seasons, especially “The Golden Rule” and “People First.” Destiny was knowledgeable, transparent, patient, and kind the entire time. I probably asked the same question two or three times (lol), but she never once seemed irritated instead, she kindly repeated the information every time. That level of patience and professionalism is rare and very much appreciated. Destiny, if you ever see this thank you! You made the booking experience smooth and enjoyable. Wishing you all the best. Go Ravens! 💜🖤🏈

This hotel is right on the harbor. It is a tall glass building which has really great windows for each of the room with the harbor view. The view is absolutely beautiful. The swimming pool is also facing the harbor and has a beautiful view during sunset. Rooms are comfortable with great mattress and comforter. All amenities are great. Coffee pods are provided with excellent flavors. They also have a TV in the mirror in the bathroom. The first I've seen at any hotel. This is such a cool feature. This hotel is definitely worth coming back to if you go to Baltimore. They also reach out to us before our stay asking if we had any requests. They are good at staying in touch with you via text. If you have any questions they respond with a text very promptly. They also allow pets. This is a very nice luxury hotel in Baltimore!

The Four Seasons will always be my favorite place to get away, and Baltimore did not disappoint for my birthday trip! It was my first time at this location, and the service was top-tier across the board—from the warm welcome to the impeccable room service. We took the Lucid out for a little shopping, lounged poolside, and truly felt cared for every step of the way. The hotel delivered everything I love about the FS brand: luxury, comfort, and unforgettable hospitality. Baltimore, you’ve set the bar high. We’ll definitely be back!

This place was so nice. Incredible view. Great location one of the best Mexican restaurants in the hotel and a awesome rooftop bar. That’s lots of fun.

We just celebrated my daughter's wedding weekend at the Four Seasons Hotel, Baltimore over the 4th of July weekend. It was just magical. The fireworks at the harbor were spectacular! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed every event at the hotel. Besides being a beautiful hotel, good food, the best staff, a great location; our customer service was most cherished. From the moment we arrived to the time we departed everything was perfect. We worked with Rachel Mitnick, the Wedding Catering Sales Manager, who was awesome. She was friendly, reachable, prompt, extremely helpful and went above and beyond to serve. Thank you, Four Seasons, Baltimore! It is your staff that make us want to find an opportunity to come back for more hospitality.

Sagamore Pendry Baltimore is a luxurious accommodation housed in a historic 1914 pier building, offering chic rooms and upscale amenities. The hotel pays homage to its rich history while catering to modern needs, featuring an artfully designed courtyard, a 24-hour fitness center, and a stunning waterfront pool with a bar. Guests can enjoy sweeping views of Baltimore's Inner Harbor and indulge in Italian cuisine at the Chef Andrew Carmellini's Rec Pier Chop House.
Stayed at the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore for my birthday and it was AMAZING! The team left sparkling grape juice and a card in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch. They even welcomed our dog Rudy like royalty—he got a treat and golden dog bowls in the room! Special shout out to Philip - He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Gorgeous hotel, incredible service, and the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend!

Overall wonderful, amazing experience, top level of service and accommodations. Great location, nice sights, great cocktails, polite and hard working staff. Sean and rob in the bar were fantastic and great rec's. there was also a young lady ( tall, glasses in the cannon room she was great also , sorry forgot the name ! . The two gals at check in was amazing, and the one gal training of the two was so kind! Food and bev manager/director was great ! Valet ( brought in by bmw) was wonderful. The treatment while being there for bmw was top tier and we felt like kings !! Room service / daily cleaning was a bonus and amazing !! We would for sure be back on a normal leisure trip ! A few things I would note, these did not damper our trip but would be been good info. 1. Pool hours were unclear, and we missed out. 2. BMW had the hotel blocked ( we were here with bmw, not a big deal) but closed the courtyard early as well. 3. BMW had the bar covered sat and Sunday, no one knew unless they walked in. 4. Joseph in the bar ( if memory serves me right on the name mildy taller, white hair ) was a bit off putting. Two separate times pass right by while either just sat down, or glass ( twice ) was empty and pushed forward, no acknowledgement. 5. We ordered the italian cold cuts and fruit plate. I've gotten a better sub for 1/3 the price at speedway. They took one meat, four raw veggies, and tossed it on the plate All else was wonderful !!

Our stay at the Pendry Baltimore was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the level of service and attention to detail was second to none. The staff were professional, warm, and genuinely made us feel welcome — every interaction was handled with care and thoughtfulness. The hotel itself is stunning — a perfect blend of modern elegance and historic charm. The design, decor, and atmosphere all exude sophistication, yet it still feels comfortable and inviting. Our room was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and offered breathtaking views of the harbor. Every detail, from the bedding to the lighting, reflected true luxury and comfort. Dining at the Pendry was a highlight — the food and cocktails were outstanding, and the ambiance made every meal feel special. The spa and pool areas were also top-notch, providing the perfect place to unwind and take in the beauty of the waterfront. What truly sets the Pendry apart, though, is the service. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Whether it was a thoughtful recommendation, a quick response to a request, or simply a friendly greeting, the level of hospitality was consistently outstanding. The Pendry Baltimore delivers a true five-star experience in every way — refined, relaxing, and memorable. We left already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best that Baltimore has to offer

This review is more so about the management staff Nichola. There was a mix up in dates and I had booked this hotel at a non refundable rate via Expedia. I called Expedia to see if they could consult with the manager at the Pendry for a cancellation. When Expedia contacted the Pendry they spoke with Nichola and she declined the request for cancellation. I kept my reservation based on this decision and arrived at the property the day that was booked. My stay with my family was remarkable, thanks to Brittany at the front desk. She is truly a gem with a positive attitude and demonstrates wonderful customer service. When I received my final bill at check out there were additional charges on the bill that I did not apply to my bill because the room was paid for prior to arrival. Brittany got the manager involved, Nichola, and instead of seeing the error and correcting it, Nichola went back and forth with me and blamed Expedia. There was clearly an error within the billing due to Expedia and the Pendry, but as a customer that has nothing to do with me. As a manager, she should’ve saw the error, corrected the issue with me (the customer) and handled the problem with Expedia on the back end. I didn’t appreciate the lack of accountability and lack of customer service approach Nichola took. The Pendry is a lovely hotel, the overall customer service did not match to me.

We had a fantastic stay at the Sagamore Pendry! The building itself is stunning and full of character, making it a unique and memorable experience. We were here for a group leadership training, and the staff went above and beyond to make everything smooth—from the food and room temperature to all the tech needs. A special shoutout to Sam at the front desk, who truly saved the day with 11 PM printouts. Their attentiveness and helpfulness throughout our stay made a big difference. Highly recommend this hotel for both events and leisure stays!

Words cannot describe the Baltimore Pendry—it’s truly an experience you have to see for yourself. I recently had my wedding there, and from start to finish everything was exceptional. A huge thank you to Kat Roberts, our Event Manager, who guided us on our tour and ensured every detail of our wedding was flawless. She was incredibly attentive and made sure the day went off without a hitch, with all of our guests cared for. I also want to give a special shoutout to Terrance and Dakota from the bell team. We had so many items for the wedding, and they made the unloading and loading process seamless. Thank you to the entire team at the Pendry for making our wedding weekend truly magical.
Craig B — Google review
We stopped in to have a drink at the bar, and on our way out, we were chatting with a young man named Phillip who worked for the hotel. He was incredibly kind and took the time to share with us the history of the building, upcoming events, etc. It's so rare to run into someone with that level of customer service, I wanted to take the time to compliment him and the hotel for taking the time to make us feel special!
Dan F — Google review
We enjoyed our stay at the Pendry Baltimore—comfortable rooms, great room service, and outstanding staff, especially Dave and Mr. Terrance. But our alcohol-free room request, made in advance, was ignored, and we were told it would cost $100 to remove the alcohol. Requests like this are often for recovery, religious, or personal reasons, and this policy could even risk a relapse. Unfair and discouraging—it would deter us from returning despite an otherwise excellent property.

The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore offers breathtaking views of the harbor and city skyline from every room, a modern art collection, and a sleek restaurant. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Inner Harbor, close to many attractions including the Convention Center and Baltimore Aquarium.
We really enjoyed our recent stay. We chose the package option that included valet parking and National Aquarium tickets. The entire staff is friendly and attentive. They were even gracious enough one morning to give us a coupon for a free appetizer at a local dining establishment we were headed out to. Will definitely stay again during a future visit.
Desiree M — Google review
Location is 1 minute walk from the boardwalk. Fantastic! Hotel staff are super helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The walls were a little thin and the phone in my room didn’t work. My schedule was packed and I was barely in my room so I didn’t care to report the issue. Even without the phone, communication with the staff was excellent. The bar/restaurant has great breakfast! There’s a cafe on the first floor that’s perfect for something quick as well. I was surprised when I checked out there was a resort fee that wasn’t included in my initial payment. I booked 5 months in advance and wasn’t notified my payment then didn’t include the resort fee. It wasn’t an excessive fee. Not a deal breaker at all but wouldn’t been nice to know when booking.
Carmen H — Google review
We stayed at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court for our first visit to Baltimore, and it was the perfect choice. Getting there was so easy - for those who want to save a couple bucks, we took the light rail from the airport for just $2 and walked right to the hotel. The location is central to everything: the Aquarium, Camden Yards, and plenty of fantastic restaurants are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful and welcoming. The bar and pool area make for a great place to relax. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered gorgeous views of the harbor. Overall, the Royal Sonesta made our first trip to Baltimore memorable and we’d definitely stay here again!
Blaire W — Google review
The front desk and valet staff at this hotel were excellent, which gave me a very good first impression. However, the next morning when my friend and I went to the restaurant for breakfast, the experience was completely different. There were no servers in the restaurant, only two women in uniform at the entrance, and we thought they might be staff. After waiting 2–3 minutes with no one attending to us, we decided to walk in, but still no one appeared. I suggested leaving, but my friend wanted to give it a try since there were plenty of empty tables, so we sat down. Just as I sat, someone suddenly shouted very rudely from behind, “Sir! Sir! Others are waiting, please give me some time!” I didn’t understand give her time for what, Should I continue sitting down or leave? and my friend gestured that we shouldn’t sit. We then realized the two women at the entrance were also guests who had already been waiting for 10 minutes!! Such an attitude made us feel treated like pets being ordered around, which was extremely disrespectful, so we chose to leave. As a Gold member of Marriott and Hilton and a Platinum member of BW, I could have easily stayed at the hotels I know well nearby, but I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, the second morning already turned into a huge disappointment, leaving me very discouraged. Today we switched back to the Marriott Hotel. They offer a welcome gift, the price is the same, breakfast is free, and we don’t have to put up with this attitude.

Spent a couple nights last week at this delightful hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast. Definitely seems like a great place for gatherings and weddings. Location is right on the harbor; the Harbor view rooms are worth the price! After a long day exploring the city, it was nice to sit and people watch as well as enjoy the city lights

Welcoming staff and good amenities. Would come back. Important Caveat : Their comforters don't qualify as such. They are so thin you'd think it's just the sheet. Should invest in new ones, IT'S TIME ! The sauna : information ahead of time that you need to manually turn the sauna on would be great. You need at least thirty minutes to heat up ! Information in the rooms or announcements when checking-in wouldn't kill anyone.

Love staying at this Baltimore hotel! Not only is the property clean with spacious rooms, but the staff is warm and welcoming. A special mention is reserved for the manager, Trey, who helped me to retrieve an item I’d left in my room after checking out. He could not have been more professional and committed to my satisfaction. Quiet and comfortable accommodation. Thank you Trey and your outstanding team!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Baltimore, Kimpton Hotel Monaco is a grand Beaux-Arts hotel housed in a 1906 building that was once the B&O Railroad headquarters. The hotel offers stylish accommodations and an array of amenities to help guests unwind, including in-room yoga mats, complimentary bikes, a 24/7 fitness center, and nightly wine hour. Guests can also enjoy professional spa services right in their rooms.
I really like this hotel. Staff was awesome.! Valet was so high! The valet guys was still great n helpful. Room was nice in big. Bathroom very nice! Just was mad that our ice machine didn’t work on our floor and we had to go 3 floors down for ice.
Mar M — Google review
I had a great stay at the Monaco in Baltimore! After being moved from another hotel due to water and AC issues, the front desk staff at the Monaco was incredibly responsive and made the transition seamless. The room was beautiful—comfortable, stylish, and exactly what I needed. I really enjoyed the complimentary coffee each morning in the lobby—it was such a nice touch to start the day. I do wish there had been a coffee maker in the room, and I was a little disappointed they had run out of plants (such a cool idea!), but those were minor things compared to the overall great experience. I requested extra hangers and received them almost immediately, which speaks to the attentiveness of the staff. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed hotel in the heart of Baltimore.
Isabel M — Google review
This place was a nightmare. The bed was like a concrete slab, the pillows were basically filled with air. The sheets had faint blood stains on them. There was no trash bag in the bathroom garbage. No handsoap in the bathroom at all. No microwave. No coffeemaker. Not even water in the mini fridge. Absolutely none of the amenities you’d expect at this price point. It was also extremely hot and humid in the room and the thermostat was of course locked. For a one bedroom suite with a king bed and pullout couch that’s supposed to sleep four people it was an absolutely tiny space. The only redeeming quality was the nice staff. This place was so uncomfortable we left at 6am even though we had two more days left in our stay. I would like to follow up this review by adding that after we explained this to the GM we did receive a percentage off of the bill and they did not charge us for the other night we had booked. All of the staff were wonderful, I just wish the hotel were as wonderful.

A really beautiful and elegant hotel. The rooms are very spacious. Even there is no coffee maker in the room, there is fresh coffee in the lobby every morning instead. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back.

Review: Kimpton Hotel, Baltimore We stayed in both a king room and a suite — both were great, though the suite was definitely our favorite (wish it had a bathtub, though). Our stay got off to a rough start because the first room we were given was really dirty — mismatched yellow towels, random hairs in the bed (which we found while checking for pests), and lots of dusty spots that should have been cleaned more thoroughly. Thankfully, the staff was responsive and moved us to a different room, which was much better. Once settled, we appreciated the comfortable setup and dog-friendly vibe inside the hotel. It’s a sensible place for traveling with pets — inside feels safe and calm — but outside can feel a little dodgy, especially at night. The in-room amenities and coffee/tea setup were just okay, and we didn’t get to try the evening wine reception. The lobby is located on the 2nd floor — you can take the elevator or a set of stunning (but steep and possibly slippery) marble stairs. I recommend the elevator. Security is visible, which was reassuring — one guard even had to step in when someone bothered us outside. Walking dogs in the area isn’t ideal, and the second-floor lobby setup also makes deliveries a little awkward, so it helps to coordinate with the front desk and drivers. Valet parking is a bit tight with limited space out front, but overall, the hotel is very convenient if you’re heading to events at the downtown arena.

Amazing hotel, so beautiful. We stayed a lot of Hilton and they never upgrade us Even though we’re diamond members, and they upgraded us right away to the top floor without asking and gave us late checkout, which Hilton will never do. You don’t have to pay a pet fee, which is absolutely amazing. The furniture is so beautiful and put together and the whole entire building is just amazing every time I come to Baltimore I’m going to stay here.

Beautiful old building! Spacious room. Very clean! Only downfall …You can hear everything when you have an adjoining room … and I mean everything. Great location. Valet treated us and the vehicle with respect. Quick service. Checking in/out was a breeze.

Kumar and Xena were wonderfully helpful. I can tell time was given to anticipating a guest’s need and preparing answers. The entry is beautiful capturing the decadence of the early 1900s. The actual lobby and my room were contemporary yet respectful of the historic design. The aesthetic is simple and elegant and I loved it. My 11 floor room had an entire window wall with sheer and light blocking shades. Room service was quick and adequate. The hours are a little confusing but there are so many options nearby i was never hungry. I was pleasantly distracted by the original design of the building that i found myself a little confused as to how i got to the lobby. A little clarification in the confirmation process would be helpful.

Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown, an IHG Hotel, pays homage to the city's rich literary history with stylish rooms featuring a literary theme and city views. The hotel's commitment to upholding Baltimore's legacy is evident in its design, with floating bookshelves and custom wallpaper reflecting the city's reputation as a literary hub.
The entire staff's is exceptional and polite, the lobby is aesthetically pleasing, and the guest rooms are spacious, featuring exceptionally comfortable beds. The culinary offerings at the Poet restaurant, specifically the crab cakes, are noteworthy. However, the location is somewhat removed from major points of interest, and there's a large presence of homelessness in the vicinity, the hotel has valet parking or you have to use a public garage options without in and out privileged pay everything you exit. The TV isn't a smart TV that adapt to apps. While you can walk to grocery store and food spots close by, its unpleasant walk seeing homeless people everywhere and beggars everytime. Overall, the property and staff itself are of high quality. Having visted numerous hotels and having stayed in over fifteen properties in Baltimore, this hotel ranks among the top four I've experienced in the city. It is also among the top IHG properties in Baltimore, comparable to the Kimpton. The manager, Ms. Kim, provided a warm and hospitable welcome. The employee who assisted with my packages was exceptional and engaging. The staff gives a pleasant and inviting atmosphere, making me feel at home; I would certainly consider staying here again.

Great spot to stay if you’re in town and want to be near Peabody or downtown! - Rooms are basic but clean and functional. They have fridges and you can ask for plates and silverware from the restaurant. - Restaurant/bar is great - they have an awesome staff who work their butts off. They’re spread pretty thin, so just expect that time wise. - Fitness center is small but functional. They have what you need to keep active. - Very friendly staff! Great place for conference stays because they offer competitive rates and there are spaces downstairs for meetings etc. For Peabody events, it’s fantastic because it’s literally a < 5 minute walk to the institute. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I had an early morning appointment at Johns Hopkins, and stayed here the night before instead of driving up from DC. I usually stay at a Holiday Inn Express near the harbor, but the Orioles were at home, so I didn't want to deal with the crowds. I'm glad I chose to do that, because I have a new favorite hotel in Baltimore. We arrived fairly late, and I'm mobility challenged, so it took a few minutes for my wife to coordinate with the staff to figure out where I was entering the hotel. The ramp is around the corner, and we parked in the Franklin Street Parking Garage across the street. If you're parking your car and don't have a lot of baggage, I recommend you park first, because the street is one-way and the entrance to the garage is on the opposite side of the street before you get to the front door of the hotel. Otherwise, you have to go around the block again. Check-in went smoothly, and we got to our room and were quite pleased with it. We got a king suite, and I highly recommend spending the extra $50. It was much larger than I expected it to be, with a sitting area the size of most hotel rooms (with the fridge and microwave you expect in a suite). There's a desk in the wide passage between the sitting area and the sleeping area, with a good-sized work surface and reasonably comfortable chair. Despite getting in late, I got a couple of hours of work done before going to sleep. The sleeping area doesn't have a door, but the passage is long enough that the light from the sitting area didn't keep my wife awake while I was working - I'm just noting it in case you're sharing the room with four people using the sofa bed. The bathroom is off the sleeping area, which is another thing to note for that reason. The size of the sleeping area was larger than you'd expect an ordinary hotel room to be, and had a lovely Baltimore-themed mural on the wall, celebrating Baltimore native (and transplants like Poe) writers. The bathroom was well-appointed but otherwise not noteworthy. In the morning, my wife had breakfast in the restaurant. I didn't remember to ask about it, but she seemed pleased enough at the time. Checkout was as smooth as check-in,

I had such a great experience during my stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, but what truly made it special was the incredible customer service. Tyjuan checked us in and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the entire time. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful — from check-in to checkout. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes pride in what they do, and his positive attitude made a big difference in our trip. Thank you, Tyjuan, and the rest of the team for making our stay so pleasant — we’ll definitely be back!

I would definitely stay there again and suggest staying there to anyone who was looking for a hotel to stay at in Baltimore. The hotel looks like a upscale boutique. The Handy's

I am a long term cancer patient at Hopkins. Blessed by God and brought to Hotel Indigo by His grace. The basilica is across the street and perfect for prayer and Mass. This team at Indigo is amazing and loving so much. They took care of me week after week as I drove back and forth from NC every other week. Kim and her team are excellent. Thank you so so much for taking care of me and the family over the last year plus. The restaurant is awesome and the staff there is amazing. Especially Alicia. Please give her a raise. She is such a blessing.

Really nice hotel. Great location. Friendly front end staff. Really cool vibe. Nice looking decor. The bar poets is a nice place to grab a drink. But I wouldn't recommend eating there. You can check out my other review of the Poets. They only have one cook. There is a long wait for a table even though only half the tables are being used. If you're hungry go someplace else.

The location is in a shady neighborhood, the rooms are not as expected, the restaurant staff looked like they do not even want to work there. The breakfast is bland with no flavor. I paid for the breakfast package during my stay and there were exclusions on what to order a la carte. I ordered eggs, breakfast potatoes, bread, avocado toast and egg omelet on different days. All the breakfast items had no flavors and I spoke with Kim, front desk associate to address the poor services from the restaurant. She was not able to assist me. I would not recommend this hotel and there are far better options to stay at.

Hotel Revival Baltimore is a unique boutique art hotel that offers refined accommodations and a creatively-enriching experience. Located in the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, it features distinctively decorated rooms with curated art pieces and stunning views of local landmarks. The hotel's amenities are designed to provide both comfort and inspiration for guests. With its elegant restaurant/bar, fitness room, and free Wi-Fi, Hotel Revival offers a top-of-the-line experience following a two-year renovation in 2018.
The location was a quick walk from the street tram from the airport. There were art galleries, plant shops and cute bars and restaurants walking distance. But you don’t have to leave the hotel because there is a rooftop restaurant for brunch, happy hour, or dinner (food was great!) , a coffee shop (chai was great!), a speakeasy/ bar (drinks were excellent) and karaoke rooms right on the first floor. The hotel is designed immaculately - it’s so pretty - even the lobby the sitting areas and the rooms. I love it here and would return every year! The staff was also helpful and friendly and it was very clean and pet friendly. It is right next to a park so you can sit and people watch or walk your dog. Also because the tram is so close I was able to catch an Orioles game as it is also right off the tram and $2 easily accessible from this hotel.

It can be hard to separate a hotel from its guests but I will try. Historic building, well renovated. Staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious, comfortable. Rooftop bar has good happy hour prices. Location is great for walking the city. No reason to give the property less than 9/10. Our only problem was due to other guests. We arrived to find someone (I assume it was a guest) sleeping on the couch in the reception. Not a problem but a bit odd…. There was a party in a neighboring room (hotel staff was called and were slow address it and/or the guests ignored them). Trash from the party was in the hallway the next morning. And then there was a guest with an incredibly annoying dog which started barking any time someone walked down the hall. The dog was quiet at night but a pet friendly hotel with poorly trained pets is a problem. So it’s a fine hotel but our stay was not as nice as it could have been.

Loved the vibes of the hotel. Bedding was super comfy. The Dashery had good selection for breakfast. Would have given 5 stars but I was falsely charged for a Snickers and a Red Bull I did not take from the room which is suspicious. I called to inquire about this and was told they will be refunded, no arguments which I appreciated.

I stayed two nights at Hotel Revival with my dog, and we had the best time. From check-in to valet parking to housekeeping to the cafe, the staff were all so welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They were busy, but they didn't miss a beat and quickly responded to my requests. The Revival King was lovely! Our spacious room was on the 8th floor, with a lovely view of Mt Vernon. The bed was super comfortable, the furnishings were tasteful, and the art was beautiful. I loved trying the local snacks available in the room. Several types of high-quality tea and coffee were available, along with a variable-temperature pour-over kettle, nice dishware, and free filtered water. Liquor, beer, soda, and Gatorade were all available for purchase, too. I couldn't have been happier, and I am a picky traveler. I'll be headed back to Hotel Revival again soon!

Pretty solid hotel, very good location by the Washington Monument. Love the layout, interesting even for a boutique hotel, friendly staff and great service overall. Especially love the featured art. Rooms were comfortable, although the walls are thin. Carpets could use a refresh too. A fair number of walkable amenities although the connection to the Inner Harbor means passing through some less nice areas. Overall really liked this hotel and recommend it, excellent value.

I never leave reviews, but our wedding weekend was so negatively impacted by the Revival that I feel an obligation share. Can’t say enough how disappointing the service was. First, after speaking with five different contacts on the sales team for our room block, we learned (days before checking in) that the hotel didn’t have a room for us for the first night of our stay. Instead of working with us to honor the contract we signed (which included that room), the hotel told us that we could pay around $100 more for that night. Luckily, we pushed back and this was resolved. When we arrived, our room had a plumbing leak, which was only made worse by the maintenance team. The sink went from dripping on the floor to entirely non-functional, the pipes underneath disconnected. We had to dump a bucket—which we happened to bring ourselves—of dirty water into the tub at 5:45am. This was the morning of our wedding. They also left dirt/grease-stained, wet towels on the floor of the bathroom. We were finally moved to a new room at 6am (with a smaller bed). Given we were getting married, moving rooms twice in one day was out of the question. If you’re thinking about staying at the Revival for your wedding (or frankly any other time), beware.

The hotel was very cute and the room was nice. $50 for valet parking seems high so we parked elsewhere. The food at Topside was really good but we sat at the bar and the service was terrible. We often saw the 2 bartenders chatting, ignoring guests. We asked for an another drink and the check and the girl disappeared before I finally flagged her down and asked to just pay. The room was comfortable but at 8:30am we had room service knocking on our door. Overall was a nice location and good value but the overall service wasn’t great.

I’m disappointed to only leave a 3 star review because we stayed at the Hotel Revival 2 years ago and it was one of the coolest hotel experiences we’ve had. This most recent trip, though, was disappointing. The room was not well maintained. One of the side lamps was out, the bed was missing a fitted sheet, the TV was crooked, the wall had a splatter stain on it, and the shower took 15 minutes to get warm and had abysmal water pressure (and a metal shelf right behind the spout so if you backed up into the water you got a piece of cold metal pushing into your back). I talked to the front desk about the sheet and they offered a textured mattress cover or a second top sheet that was the wrong size for the bed, which was very odd. I also asked about paying to switch rooms so we could get a better shower but the hotel was sold out, so they said they would send maintenance to check out the shower but maintenance never came. I expected better since we splurged for the more expensive hotel. The aesthetic is really cool and both restaurants were great, but overall the little pieces added up to a disappointing experience for the price.

Admiral Fell Inn Baltimore Harbor, Ascend Hotel Collection is a storied inn with classically furnished rooms and suites. The 440-room, 23-story hotel was built in 1928 in the French Renaissance style and has been recently renovated. It offers dining options including a French bistro, coffeehouse, and tavern. Located in the historic Fells Point neighborhood, it's just steps away from waterfront attractions such as bars, restaurants, and shops.
Definitely in the heart of downtown. You will hear the bars, and the people outside. That said, it really wasn't bad. We were able to sleep through it just fine. The room was super cute, the hotel is super cute. They have a bar that goes til 2am. Only downside was there was no fridge in the room. Would book again :)

The neighborhood is awesome. Great restaurants, bars and overall welcoming. The hotel itself.... Well.... Friendly front desk. Spacious room. Noisy air-conditioning in room. It was one of the rooms connecting with another. The noise insulation between the rooms is non existent. Morning one we were woken up at 6am because of neighbor rooms alarm clock. The room wasn't occupied but luckily the clock died after round about 20 minutes. Maybe the room cleaning should put this on the checklist to disable any alarm clocks. I'm usually staying with bigger chains and expect new towels and the bed to be me made daily. Didn't happen here. Breakfast choice is very limited, and the coffee was not drinkable because of coffee grounds both mornings. We went to the bakery across the street.

I stayed here over a year ago. My husband and I were getting away and wanted to stay in a nicely located hotel for a good price. This looked like a great deal, but being that it was winter, in an old building, we could not control the heater, so I couldn’t fall asleep. I tried opening the window and it didn’t stay open and the noise from the street was loud. Additionally, being a “dog friendly” hotel, we tried to fall asleep and each time a dog walked by with their owners, it’s like the whole floor (dogs) perceived another and it would be a choir of dog barks at a hot 11pm. Needless to say, we didn’t stay the length of our reservation, we quit early and their policy was no refunds at that point. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone in good conscience.

So I am giving this hotel a 2 star rating overall. Front desk staff was very friendly so they get 5 stars, but we felt the price was a little high for what you get. Most Choice hotels have a mini fridge in the room, this didn’t. The floors were the snap together laminate planks that were very worn and damaged with spaces between the pieces and clearly damaged from improper cleaning. This was an anniversary get away and we chose the historic building and paid a higher price but felt like for what we paid it should be better kept. AC worked very well but there’s only a very thin sheet and cover on the bed. We didn’t have much of an issue with noise except for hearing a few doors. Breakfast was very limited compared to what we are used to at the cheaper Choice brand hotels. We wouldn’t recommend for any kind of romantic getaway.

- that was my last stay after many years as the Inn has forgotten what customer service is. The hospitality business requires discretion, security and above all else putting your own interests aside to ensure the welfare of the clients. You won’t find that at Admiral Fell inn. My experience of leaving my holstered firearm which i’m permitted and licensed to carry as an article in my room found it handed over to the Baltimore City PD after i informed them i was traveling back to retrieve it and gave them instructions to secure it until my return Upon arrival i discovered they did not only NOT have the item previously secured but gave it to the City against my direction and wishes as a guest The results are now attorney fees and reprimands at my place of employment if i still have one Thank you for your kindness and hospitality towards yourselves Forgot remodeling the place go back to hospitality school it will be money well spent ! DO NOT put your trust in this group stay elsewhere

Front desk staff were super friendly, warm and welcoming. We used to live in Fells Point so we know the neighborhood well and how loud it can get at night. We stayed during fleet week, it was HOT outside but the hotel was nice and cool, I love the old charm it has preserved. Yes the layout is weird, yes the floors are uneven, but that's part of Fells. We got a very last minute booking and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend to others.

Not all it's cracked up to be. The location is great for getting to other fun things but sleeping there? Not so much. The weekend crowds are LOUD until past 3am. Like it sounds as if they're in the room and we were on the 3rd floor (screaming/bottles breaking/music blaring). The inside of the hotel is sad. The online photos make it looks quaint, but in-person there's open ceilings, broken bed posts. We had 3 people in the room, were only provided 2 bath towels, and one of those was stained brown and yellow. The shower had hot water for MAYBE 10 mins then went right to cold. I called ahead asking if they did early check in. The woman on the phone said they couldn't promise it but said she would put a note to housekeeping to clean it early if possible. Upon arrival I asked if they could check us in any earlier than the typical 4pm and attempted to mention my phone call with another staff member, but before I could even finish my sentence, the man interrupted me and just said "No." I totally understand if they couldn't accommodate an early check in, that was not a problem. I was just trying to ask as the woman over the phone had instructed, but the male staff member was rude and short with me. All of the female staff were absolutely wonderful, thankfully. If you value your sleep and feeling clean, I would choose somewhere else.

The Ivy Hotel is a luxurious property housed in an 1880s mansion, offering elegant rooms and suites. Guests can enjoy complimentary amenities such as a private car service, afternoon tea, turn-down service, and midnight snacks. The hotel's spa provides a range of services focused on vitality and natural health tailored to individual needs. Additionally, the sun-filled courtyard and library offer relaxing spaces for guests to unwind.
Our daughter was married at this hotel this past weekend and the whole thing couldn't have gone more smoothly. From the venue itself, the staff, the food, everything was set up to make this as easy for us as possible. We arrived at noon, knowing we were way early for checkin, and the valet just took our name, unloaded our car, and welcomed us, and put us into the elevator. When it opened, staff was waiting to give us a tour of the facility and deliver us to the concierge, who seamlessly checked us in to our room, which was ready hours early. Our luggage was waiting for us in our room. Which was amazing; we had suite 9, which overlooked the courtyard from a wall of windows and was roomy and quiet, but my dad, son, and niece all had rooms which were smaller but equally beautiful. The bridal couple had suite 18, which was just incredible, a huge living room and powder room with a lofted bedroom and full bath. Other guests also rave about their rooms and suites. One couple came with their toddler and newborn, and the hotel even provided -- unasked -- a bathtub for the baby and appropriate size robes for the kids. We were there for four nights, and consistently when we left our room for breakfast or tea or dinner, staff notified one another so that when we got back, any necessary housekeeping had been taken care of while we were out. It was amazing. The event planning staff was equally amazing. We felt as if we'd hired a wedding planner who was operating silently and efficiently in the background. The food, which was catered in-house by Magdalena, was excellent. We can't recommend it more highly. For a microwedding, with maybe 30 guests who all want to stay on property, this couldn't be a better choice.

We just returned from a one-night stay at The Ivy for our wedding anniversary, and while we had heard wonderful things going in and had high expectations, our stay exceeded every single one of them. Yes, it is not inexpensive to stay here, but the service and attention to detail make it worth every penny. The hotel itself is stunning — beautifully restored in a way that fully honors its history. But what truly sets The Ivy apart is the service. Just read the reviews! From the very first moment, everything felt personalized: greeted by name at check-in, offered champagne or sparkling tea, given a full tour of the hotel, and arriving in our room to find a handwritten note with wine and cheese. Afternoon tea was delicious, the serve-yourself bar was an awesome addition, and breakfast delivered to our room the next morning was outstanding and all included in the stay. The entire staff is wonderful! One of the most memorable moments came from our time with the concierge, Calvin. His warmth, authenticity, and simple gestures of kindness reminded us of the power of genuine care. We left with full hearts, a beautiful memory of our anniversary, and a new tradition — every year at The Ivy!

We had a lovely one-night stay at The Ivy for a birthday celebration. I'm rating this hotel 4 stars rather than 5 due to the cost creating a higher expectation that was not quite met. Firstly, this is a beautiful, historic space. It's gorgeously decorated and lovingly cared for. The service is warm and attentive. This is very important, and is expected for a luxury hotel. Our room was beautiful, and I thought it was fantastic that cheese and olives were set out for us. However, the bread had tumbled off the plate and no one fixed it (photo uploaded). This just speaks to a not quite 5 star attention to detail. Also, 2 thin slices of bread do not cover the amount of cheese served. Thankfully, they had pretzels in the snack drawer. Similarly, when my soft boiled eggs were served in the morning, they rolled off my plate and cracked. The server just said "sorry" and let me pick them up and reset them (that's why they're cracked in the photo). I didn't need fresh eggs, but the server didn't offer to get them, nor did she rectify the mess made- again, not quite 5 star service. Also, my friend booked the room and let them know this was for my birthday celebration. Kindly, they had a birthday card in our room, but it was addressed to my friend, rather than me. Not 5 star attention to detail. We struggled with bringing the heat down in our room. The concierge was caring, but we never were able to quite resolve the problem. The food was quite good, with some aspects of it excellent. I really enjoyed the afternoon tea and the snacks/drinks that came with the room. The Ivy has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, and most of the staff were very friendly and conscientious. I'm very glad I got to experience The Ivy, but I'm not sure if it's quite worth the price to return. Those little details matter more at this price point.

My husband and I went to the Spa at the Ivy for the first time!! We had a truly amazing and relaxing experience. We were catered too from valet to our room at the spa. Alimata and Leigh-Anne were our masseuses. There are truly no words for how wonderful they were. I wish I can bottle them up and take them home. As you can tell I would highly recommend taking the time out to treat yourself at The Spa at the Ivy Hotel.

The Ivy Hotel – June 2025 Stay ★ ★ ★ ★☆ (honest 4/5) 3.5 star experience this visit. I’ve been coming to The Ivy for 9 years, since my 34th birthday. Over time, it’s become one of our go-to escapes. My husband and I usually visit several times a year, and we’ve always appreciated the warmth, luxury, and thoughtful details that make The Ivy feel like more than just a hotel. This time, we brought close friends from Virginia who were excited to finally experience it for themselves. But unfortunately, this visit just didn’t hit the same. What’s still great Our room was clean and beautiful, just as we’ve come to expect. Danielle from housekeeping was such a bright spot—kind, thorough, and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, and afternoon tea remains one of my favorite experiences. It’s quiet, intimate, and only offered to hotel guests, which I love. The kitchen and dining staff continue to deliver on service. But the energy was off this time From the start, the tone at the front desk felt a little cold. My guests weren’t told about the mansion tour, the hotel’s history, or even the included car service, which is such a missed opportunity. Those extras are part of what makes The Ivy feel special, and they didn’t get to experience them. I also noticed a shift in how we were treated. There were moments that felt unnecessarily policed, like being watched closely over how many drinks we had, and staff communicating about it in ways that didn’t feel welcoming. Instead of being cared for, I felt like I was being managed. My husband stayed here a few months ago and had a similar feeling. It just wasn’t the same Ivy we’ve come to know. At one point, we were told about how expensive it is for the hotel to work with AMEX, how they were sold out tomorrow, and how that affected service. Honestly, I’m not here to manage their business model. I just want to enjoy my stay. I shouldn’t feel like an afterthought because of whatever is happening behind the scenes. And we missed Mr. Calvin He has always been a warm and familiar face. In many ways, he’s the heartbeat of the Ivy. Next time, I’ll call ahead to make sure he’s working before I book. His presence makes a difference. Last note Without the hotel car service available, we ended up spending more than expected on Uber Black to get to dinner. That’s something I would not have anticipated from an all-inclusive luxury property. Final thoughts The Ivy is still a beautiful place, and I believe it can get back to what it once was. But something’s changed. Not in the look or feel, but in the spirit. Luxury isn’t just about the setting. It’s about how you’re made to feel. And at times during this stay, I didn’t feel like I belonged.

The hotel common area itself is a treasure of beautiful woodwork and hand-painted tiles and mosaics and interior design that is clever and exciting to enjoy. The tour upon our arrival and greeting from Teresa was memorable and concierges Sydney and Calvin were perfect, not only helping us navigate and create our itinerary, but were also great conversationalists. Everyone we met was incredibly helpful and bent over backwards to help with any need we had. It was an amazing experience!

The stay at The Ivy Hotel, Baltimore was extremely remarkable and made our vacation pleasingly memorable. The staff greeted us with a warm and genuine welcome. Then Mr. Calvin, Concierge with his stylish bow tie, was exquisite. He greeted us with our names and ensured our check in was phenomenal. We were provided with a choice of tasty beverages. And a grand wee tour of the area. I want to reach out to Thereza, Assistant General Manager who well – orchestrated our amazing stay at The Ivy Hotel in Baltimore. The National Aquarium is a must-visit landmark featuring captivating marine-life exhibits, an exciting dolphin show, and a thrilling shark tank. Visitors can also explore a walk-through rainforest for an immersive experience. Located near the World Trade Center, visitors are required to follow specific traffic patterns for safe entry and exit. Health measures such as wearing face coverings and completing screening questionnaires are in place. Additionally, one-way traffic flow and social distancing measures are enforced throughout the building.
Our family had a great time at the National Aquarium. There was a lot to do and see. They kept people moving in one direction which made it easy to navigate so you can see everything. The food was good, but it was a little dirty. The animals seemed like they were treated well and the areas were clean. The staff was very friendly and told us about different exhibits and what to look for. I would definitely recommend going here and look forward to our next trip.

We went for the first time and we choose labor day to go. It actually wasn't that bad. We had no wait to get in. But some of the exhibits had a crowd before you could get to see it decently. We did not do any of the experiences or were we able to see the dolphins though we did try. They were being feed when we were there and we didn't wait long enough to see them. If you have anyone in your group that has mobility issues and needs to use elevators they do have them and they can fit wheelchairs plus a person or two. They are not near where the other entrance to the floor is for those that do not have mobility problems. I say this for those who have parties of mixed capabilities. There is one area that those who cannot do stairs can access and that is the birds area. There is a way for wheelchairs to go through the area but there is 2 platforms that you can't get to. The aquarium was nice and the employees we came across were all friendly. The are some rather large attractions and lots of smaller ones just like any other aquarium or zoo. They have an area with horseshoe crabs and jellyfish that you can touch the animals. We were hoping that there was an area you can feed manta rays of something like it but they did not. We got to see how they clean some of the tanks and some of the divers that we found out that all the divers are volunteers. The guy made a joke saying that they work for free bottled air. Some of the tanks look difficult to clean so I don't envy them. They some frogs and birds and some other animals. I was not expecting to see any other animals but I thought it was cool. There are some really good views of the harbor as well. They have a spot that you can sit and rest while looking at the harbor. All in all we will probably go back and definitely recommend.

It was nice... I have been to aquariums with more variety... this one seems almost local species. A few empty habitats... the Jellyfish invasion is not impressive if you have seen them in other aquariums... some tanks looked like they were sick... dolphin shows are no more but you can sit and watch them... they mostly hung out in the back though, until the helpers came out to feed. That was cool. I agree with the stopping the shows and loved seeing them play. The rainforest was okay too... a couple of birds here an there... mostly just plant life with a cool water fall. Escalator was broke on one floor of the 4 floor exhibit. I think they have an elevator, they were not to informative about it though. We never looked into the Australian terrarium... chose to leave and do other things.

Had a mommy son day and it was just what was needed! Everything was clean and in order, not too many people on a school day so it was nice. Not too many lines, the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. My 8 year old stated it was his best day in forever ❤️ Thanks! I bought the membership and its already paid off but I can see him having us there a LOT!

The design of this aquarium is very unique. I have visited many aquariums across the country. Like the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, the Long Beach Aquarium in CA, and the Mall of America’s Aquarium. We went on a Sunday so it was super busy but getting our tickets online was a smart move. The layout of this aquarium is pretty unique and it can be actually quite confusing. Thankfully we had a friend who has been to this one multiple times and knew his way around. I do like the open design to the main attraction and the escalators to next level. That was very unusual to see. There was one escalator that was out of service but they had the service door for the stair propped open and someone standing there to help guide. Also another interesting thing was the rotating doors. I have never seen them being used inside of a facility. It was kind of annoying as only one person could go through it at a time. The best thing was all the aquatic creatures that they have. Those were a joy to watch and we got to talk to a knowledgeable guide that was showing off a turtle skull. She was fun to talk with and knew her stuff about the animals in the aquarium. I would go back for sure.

The aquarium closes fairly early, so I didnt have quite enough time to get through the entire place. It was beautiful. It was well laid out. The dolphin training was a surprise to see, but it was so cool to see.

Members Hallowmarine Event was great! I brought my sister and we had Tshirts with Halloween themes. The event started promptly at 6pm. We watched several sharks, stingrays and fish. The crowd moved at a leisurely pace. My sister touched the horseshoe crabs and jellyfish. We had the 4D shark experience in the theater with several surprises from the special effects. We viewed the Harbor wetlands from the bridge - impressive work. I read about project in the members newsletter. We enjoyed seeing so many children dressed in costumes. At the Pier 4 Cafe the dance party was in full swing! Kids danced to some of my favorite songs, Thriller and Monster Mash. Food was tasty. Another surprise included scuba divers in the Coral Reef. We have pictures and gestured with our hands about the turtle. All in all, a wonderful evening. My favorites are the turtles, seahorses and caiman. The scavenger hunt card added a little competition to find the specific animals.

Nestled in the heart of Baltimore, the Lord Baltimore Hotel is a stunning example of French Renaissance architecture, designed by William Lee Stoddart in 1928. This historic gem boasts elegant rooms and suites that blend modern comforts with classic charm. The hotel features a rooftop bar where guests can unwind while enjoying breathtaking views of the city skyline. With its rich history—having welcomed notable figures like Martin Luther King Jr.
We genuinely enjoyed our brief stay! Not sure why the bad reviews. Its a historical hotel, so is it modern upgraded? No. But its got so much character. The restaurant was very good, the staff friendly and the rates were great. We would definitely stay again. Beds were a bit firm, but that's a personal taste. Blankets and sheets, pillows were extremely comfortable and the air temp was perfect.

My stay was for a procedure at UM Medical Center on a discounted room rate that also included valet parking and a breakfast credit. The rate we paid was more than fair, and the location was very good. The hospital offers a free shuttle back and forth, which worked well to go to the hospital; however, they never showed up after my procedure to return us to the hotel, so we walked. The walk was easy. The hotel is historic, and as such some will consider it “dated” but their priorities are different to mine. A word about the shower-the grout is black. That’s not grime you’re seeing, nor is it mildew. The bathroom wasn’t the newest, but it was perfectly clean and functional. The toilet paper, probably for purposes of economy and ecology, was the kind you would use in a camper, or find at a truck stop. There was no spare roll in the room. Bring your own, but don’t clog the historic plumbing. Although our reservation was for two people, only one wash cloth was provided, and as much as we love one another, that’s something we don’t share. We received more towels and wash cloths on request. Water was hot all night, all day, ask me how I know. If you run out of trash can space (drink bottles, carry out containers, etc) you can empty trash in the ice machine/vending room on many floors. The food on offer in the bar off the lobby was acceptable. The service was fine. It was convenient to be able to eat on the premises and avoid moving the car. And speaking of the car, the valet service was pleasant and efficient and our car was returned to us in the condition we surrendered it in. The parking person even unloaded our luggage onto a cart for us. The woman who checked us in seemed harried. We requested a quiet location and she really delivered. We heard a few sirens and such, but it’s downtown and to be expected. We appreciated the ability to sleep, which was much needed. The gentleman who checked us out was pleasant and efficient. We will be back to UM medical center for more fun in the future. If the partnership with the Lord Baltimore remains in effect, we absolutely will return for another stay. With a couple minor tweaks, it would be perfection.

There are many good reasons to stay at the Lord Baltimore, first among them is the historic appeal (for those of us into that stuff). The bed and pillows were top notch, the shower nice & hot with good pressure, and the location is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. That being said, my room was dark and dreary, with one small (filthy) window facing the sides of building. Very little outside light made worse by the charcoal gray of the walls. Apparently there are rooms with amazing views, if I stay here again I will ask for one of those! There were little glitches in my room, none of them deal breakers, but.... The most convenient outlet by my bed didn't work, nor did the pull out laundry cord in the bathroom. To watch TV in bed, I had to lean forward, otherwise the remote didn't function. I used my laptop. Finally, as with most hotels, there seemed to be no attempts towards sustainability, with single use cups and products found not only in our rooms, but in the cafe, etc. Not an issue for some, but important for all! Would I stay here again? Yes, but I would look for a different room.

The Lord Baltimore Hotel definitely has a lot of charm and character. I love the history of the building and the haunted theme as it makes the stay feel unique. That said, I think they sometimes play off certain issues as part of the “haunted” vibe. For example, the elevators were a struggle. They had 4 or 5, but I only ever saw 2 working during my stay. The wait times were so long that we just ended up taking the stairs (thankfully we were on a lower floor). They even say the ghost likes to haunt the 19th floor and mess with the elevators, which is a fun story, but the reality is it gets a little frustrating. I also noticed lots of strange noises in the pipes and walls that again, they spin it as the ghostly atmosphere, which is kind of funny, but it also shows the hotel could use some updates. Same goes for the bathrooms and some of the furniture still functional, but a refresh would really take this place up a notch. On the positive side, the Skybar was a great experience, valet was smooth and convenient, and the location is perfect, especially for catching a concert at CFG Arena. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, It’s a fun and memorable place to stay, and I’d definitely come back for another weekend in Baltimore. Very walkable location especially for any major sporting or entertainment event nearby. Has a rooftop SkyBar and a Tavern in the lobby both open from 5pm-11pm.

Stayed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel Aug 1–3, 2025 for a birthday day and it was far from the special, relaxing weekend I planned. The room was in poor shape: black grime streaking down from the vent, a headboard that was peeling and scratched, a loose towel bar, mildew and sloppy caulking in the tub, misaligned sink handles (one turns sideways, the other backward), and a window with a peeling smoky film. These are not new issues but the result of long-term neglect. In a bold move toward “eco-friendliness” or cost cutting, the room for two guests came with just one towel and one washcloth. Nothing says romance like fighting over who gets to dry off first. The LB Sky Bar, which I was excited to try, was just as disappointing. We ordered peach sangrias and grilled wings. The wings were cooked, set to the side uncovered, and left out in the breeze for over 15 minutes while the cook scrolled on her phone, even though our table number was clearly visible and we were sitting in her direct line of sight. By the time she asked if they were ours, I declined. The only positive was Ashley at the front desk who was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, everything else about this stay fell flat. For the price and the reputation, I expected much better. I will not be back.

I recently stayed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel and was very disappointed by the experience — particularly regarding the handling of pet-friendly accommodations. When booking online, the website clearly stated that the hotel is dog-friendly, which was a key reason I chose to stay there. At no point during the online booking process or at check-in was I asked whether I would be bringing a dog, nor was any information provided to me about pet-specific policies. However, during my stay, I was stopped by a front desk staff member while taking my dog out and told I needed to relocate to a different floor and pay a $100 pet fee. Of course, I complied with no problems. Perhaps I missed something while booking and the responsibility to report my pet could fall on me- no problem. BUT the new room I was assigned was in extremely poor condition. The bathtub was dirty (which we never used), the headboards were visibly scratched, the entire room smelled like smoke, and overall, it felt more like a budget motel than a reputable hotel room. I have attached pictures to show the condition of the room. My dog is extremely well behaved (again I had no problem paying the pet fee) BUT to pay more and be extremely downgraded in the quality of the room is inexcusable. We were charged over $300 for one night to stay in a very downgraded room. I voiced my concern at check out and again via email and have received no response. We were also charged an additional $75 after checking out with no explanation of the extra charge. The lobby and hotel was gorgeous. The quality of the room for the price we paid was terrible. The fact that I cannot even get in touch with the hotel to inquire about an addition fee that was charged on my card AFTER my stay is terrible customer service.

Had a great experience here. I stayed here for a concert happening near by. It was a 13 minute walk from me. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was also really amazing both the front desk, restaurant and cafe. We had dinner in the hotel, which was really great and the drinks were great too! We also had breakfast in the the café attached and it was really good as well! Definitely would come back!

Great value! We had a corner unit room and the views were amazing. Could see Camden Yards from our room. The hotel is historically haunted but we experienced no ghosts or paranormal activity. Service staff was great, food was a 8/10, room was a 8.5/10 only due to a very outdated shower area, otherwise the room was great. Felt large and the beds were comfortable. Also a great location, could walk to almost everything around downtown and only a 12 min walk to the ballpark. Would book here again if visiting Baltimore

Located in the heart of downtown Baltimore, Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel offers modern and bright rooms with convenient amenities like minifridges. The hotel is ideally situated along the waterfront in the Inner Harbor, providing easy access to Charm City attractions such as the Gallery Mall and National Aquarium. Guests can enjoy Starbucks beverages at The Ground Floor Cafe & Bar or savor American cuisine and craft cocktails while taking in stunning Inner Harbor views at Watertable, the hotel's waterfront restaurant.
The Renaissance Baltimore Harbor Hotel made our stay in the city an excellent one. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. The bellman who greeted us was especially fantastic, friendly, helpful, and attentive. Though I can’t recall his name, he truly set the tone for the rest of our visit. We arrived earlier than check-in time, and the staff was kind enough to let us check our bags while we waited for our room, which made exploring the harbor stress-free. The hotel itself is very comfortable and well-maintained. The lounge is stylish and relaxing, making it a great spot to unwind. I also enjoyed the coffee shop located right in the lobby, very convenient and surprisingly good quality for a hotel café. Our room was spotless, with beds and pillows that were genuinely comfortable. The hot water in the shower was strong and consistent, which is always a plus after a long day of travel. While we didn’t get a chance to visit the pool, everything else we experienced left a very positive impression. Overall, this is a clean, welcoming, and comfortable hotel with excellent service and thoughtful touches. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Baltimore.

We were very happy to stay here right in the inner harbor. It was very easy to get around town by walking or cab or ride share. We walked very easily to Camden Yards to see a ball game. The staff were very efficient and friendly. We couldn’t be happier during our stay. It was an extended weekend and everything at the hotel went smoothly. It was a very good value and a nice hotel.

We had a great experience here. Every single member of the staff was fantastic, welcoming and helpful. It was a busy weekend and there were issues with the elevators, so the staff worked incredibly hard to accommodate everyone and help speed the process of getting upstairs. I can't say enough about the front desk staff and the staff checking bags. Every single one of them just made it such a warm experience. I believe it was Marcus (he seemed to be in charge at the bag check desk) greeted us with "hey family!" every time we walked in. The room was nice and clean, had a great view of the WTC and the harbor. Location couldn't have been better. We were able to walk to every restaurant we went to, as well as the baseball field for the Orioles/Yankees game. Overall a fantastic experience!

The front service desk and bar staff were very accommodating and helpful! The rooms are very clean, staff was always quick to assist with any needs that might've come up. Great location right across from the aquarium as well. Only downside to the visit was the elevators were having issues throughout our stay, which they still found way to accommodate and get people to their rooms efficiently as possible.

We had a wonderful stay at the Renaissance Baltimore Harbor Place Hotel! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in such a perfect location for exploring the Inner Harbor. A special shoutout to Keisha at the front desk — she was incredibly kind and helpful during check-in, and really set the tone for a great experience. The wait to check in wasn’t bad at all, and the service overall was excellent. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Baltimore!

Wow! What a hotel! Baltimore owes me nothing! Went here for a one day get away with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Being as though this hotel was in downtown Baltimore, I figured it would be a nice place to stay. This hotel exceeded my expectations. We were welcomed by Kisha Noel, front desk staff, so pleasantly and warmly. She wished us a happy anniversary and saw that we were here for one day and upgraded our room for the evening ❤️ Additionally, she provided a breakfast voucher for us so that we may fill up before our journey back to Philly. The room was exceptional and had a clear view of the harbor. There was a voluptuary view of the harbor at night. With it being located in downtown Baltimore, you were just able to observe and enjoy the city movement and energy. I won't stay anywhere else when I come to Baltimore on my own volition. Unless it's a house/AirBNB that I'm doing a group trip with, I refuse to stay anywhere else.

Longtime Guest, Deeply Disappointed I’ve stayed at this hotel 3–4 times a year, always booking the same river view room to unwind and protect my peace. This time, I paid in advance for that exact room — only to be placed in a traffic-facing room with zero explanation. When I raised the issue, the manager falsely claimed I hadn’t paid for the river view. I showed my receipt. Then the story changed: “The room isn’t available due to a wedding.” As if my reservation and dollars suddenly held less value. Let me be clear: I paid for the room I booked. Fabricating reasons and shifting blame is unacceptable. I travel with intention, and views matter — they support my mental wellness. Looking at traffic doesn’t do that. I’ve already booked a nearby hotel for New Year’s Eve and will not return. If you value honesty, consistency, and the room you actually paid for, look elsewhere.

Stayed here recently for two nights and it was perfect! The rooms are so cozy, very clean and are quite large. They are charming with actual historic appeal. This place is a hidden gem. The staff could not have been more friendly (we especially appreciated Mike's friendly nature). They made us feel important and special. I had an excellent stay at this B&B in Baltimore. The location is just a few minutes from the Inner Harbor and right next to Little Italy, there are plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. I stayed in a large Victorian style suite with beautiful décor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had a classic charm that made it feel unique compared to a standard hotel. Everything was clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for the romantic getaway! Stayed here for a romantic getaway weekend for her birthday. Room was beautiful, breakfast in the courtyard was delicious, and the atmosphere was awesome. Everyone was pleasant and was ready to help if needed. I purchased the romance package with chocolate covered strawberries, roses, and candles. The package was above and beyond, not only were there fresh roses, but they put a lots of peddles everywhere (amazing), there were also candles everywhere (so many candles, you didn't even need to turn the lights on). I would definitely return for another stay.

My friend and I booked the 1840's Carrollton Inn for our Girls Weekend. Well all I can say is they deserve a lot more stars than you have to offer. The staff truly made us feel like we were home, they were so knowledgeable about places to go that were in walking distance, as well as able to recommend places to eat. But I cannot tell you how amazing the breakfast that is included as well as the daily fresh chocolate chip cookies. You can choose to eat breakfast in the amazing courtyard, quaint dining room, or you can have it delivered to your room. This place is an absolute hidden gem and we will definitely be coming back!

I attended a conference here and didn’t stay overnight so no comment on the rooms. The service in the cafe was good and parking attendants were very helpful and patient. The conference space was pretty typical but the lobby area was a breath of fresh air. Most likely because the area is surrounded by huge windows, sofas, coffee tables, high top tables and stools with outlets as well as regular seating for meals etc. very comfortable. The parking garage leaves a lot to be desired as it is actively under construction or what seems to be extensive repairs. The signs weren’t clear as to where the elevator was or how to get to the main building because most signs were covered by the caution tape. I parked on the top deck and got one of only three spaces remaining for a conference that began at 8am. I wonder where other people parked since a lot of spaces were taped off and not available for use. There was active water running in the garage and you can actually spell urine. Not to mention it took well over 35 minutes to get out.

My wife and I traveled to Baltimore this past weekend and this place left a lot to be desired. For starters, we arrived about 30 minutes after our check-in time and were told we would need to wait for a room to become available. That's fine, we are patient and we can occupy ourselves. However, after 45 minutes and our 8-month old becoming extremely agitated, we finally had enough and went to the desk to ask for an update. Luckily, the desk manager was extremely kind and helped us out. Afterward we went to our room and found that our towels were dirty and we only had three pillows. We tried to call to the front desk but the phone wouldn't work. I also went to the market to try and find a phone charger or a toothbrush, neither of which were available. On top of all this, the parking situation is a nightmare and unnecessarily convoluted. Be prepared to pay a pretty penny despite being guests! Dinner was fine at the restaurant, and overall the walk to Camden Yards was fairly easy. But if you have the opportunity to stay somewhere else, I would do so.

I held a meeting at this hotel September.24-25. I booked 90 plus room nights and catering for 48 people. The rooms and hotel are very nice. However their customer focus, and communications seem to be a low priority. I do not feel like the hotel valued my business and many of my asks, including a 0 balance bill to my requirements were met with "hyatt cannot do that". My planner was very busy and OOO many times with no backfill. The sales manager did not reply to any of my queries. I would think a Senior Sales Manager would be a bit more customer focused than that. I have been holding meetings all over the country 3 times a year for 16 years with this set of executive clients and actually held a meeting at this hotel a few years ago. I would have to conclude the hotel facilities are good but I would hesitate doing business here again. A disappointing experience from this Hyatt hotel. I have used Marriott, Omni, Hilton, Private Boutique hotels, Kimpton and 4 seasons. I must say this overall experience was not at the same level of the other hotels

From the excellent and professional customer service and care Chandra gave, to the Valet parking attendants, Raphael’s front desk customer friendliness & patience, superb dining, customer care and friendliness of Rashad, Doug, servers:Ajay & Willie we are revived. Celebrated 38yrs of marriage in two days and you woulda thought we were royalty. Everyone and everything was so nice. It was an enjoyable stay. Conference did not interfere or the next door pet that the owners left alone. Harbor was hopping, sirens were heard, but Baltimore City did actually settle down so that we could get some sweet sleep. Thank you again Chandria A. and Hyatt staff. Job well done. Mission accomplished!🥰

Highlight of my stay was the rooftop pool. Amazing views! The first day I stayed I was surprised that they did not have anyone tending the pool , no pool cushions were placed out. However the rest of my stay the pool area was maintained and they had someone on the outdoor bar/grill. The lady working at the pool while I was there was so sweet and helpful. Overall this hotel is really nice. The rooms were immaculate. Plenty of amenities in the rooms like a fridge and microwave. Even though the hotel is huge it is quiet. I could not hear the other guest. Great gym on site as well! Beautiful views of Baltimore inner harbor. Majority of the staff were friendly. Loved that there was a walk over bridge from the parking garage to the harbor. Overall rating for a solo traveler is 9/10. Hated that I had to pay to park even as a guest though. One recommendation the glass on the outside of the elevators looking out to the water deff needs to be cleaned.

Not impressed by front desk service. Customers ahead of me were treated very warmly. I was not given the same friendly service. I inquired about self service parking but was not told to an ounce of detail. When I exited the parking garage an attendant proceeded to tell me the front desk should have told me how to park to avoid paying in/out fees. When I returned later I was told — “oh yes we will charge you $34” (mind you I already paid $15) then was told and you call the parking vendor to ask for a refund. Thanks for giving me extra work just b/c the hotel front desk didn’t offer these details upfront. Then my son who was staying in the room next to mine calls me saying a live roach was in his bedding!!! So gross!!! Every hotel is hard to stay at b/c it isn’t home but come on guys DO BETTER!!! Then someone brought us replacement bedding and told us to make our own bed b/c she did know how to!!! UGH!!! Worst experience ever!!!!

This is the only Hyatt location I've ever been to where I've been interrogated by their head of security. Fortunately, Andre is a sober man, with a keen discerning manner. Always nice to get a glimpse behind the curtains. though i do wish that the regular staff knew about MCAS.

Located right in the heart of Fells Point, the Inn at Henderson's Wharf offers guests a luxurious boutique environment with panoramic views of the harbor or marina. With its complimentary shuttle service to several popular attractions or easy access to the Baltimore Water Taxi, this is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a high-end waterfront experience.
Great location. Able to walk to historic Fells Point. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a room facing the marina and the historic Dominos Sugar factory. The rooms were bright and well appointed. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel if you're coming to Baltimore. Easily 5 stars.

I loved my 2nd stay as much as I did my 1st last November. The room is spacious with a great view of the Bay. I love the Continental Breakfast and the evening snack. Also, the teas both in the rooms and in the lobby coffee bar. The staff is always friendly and professional, making sure all my concerns are addressed. The location is great for walking around, exercising, looking into some of the eclectic shops and easy walking distance to some great restaurants. There is street parking available as well as the parking lot attached to the Inn.

The hotel is beautiful and very well kept. The hotel staff are so nice. The location is great, very close to restaurants, little shops and on the water! I was greeted at the end of my day by Eric at the front desk, always kind and smiling. I won't stay anywhere but here on my visits to Baltimore❤️

This is our favorite hotel in Baltimore. We were there again during Easter weekend - 2025. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and are very clean and the breakfast is an elegant "continental" with fruits, oats, waffles, pastries, muffins, and more! The best part? The staff. We've stayed there several times and with each stay, the staff is welcoming helpful and truly wants everyone to be most comfortable during their entire stay. We can't wait to return!
Cindy M — Google review
Truly baffled by the reviews. Neighborhood is great, lobby area and service are fine, but the rooms are old, quite beat up, and have very uncomfortable beds. The air conditioning is loud, as is street and hallway noise. All rooms are street level so if you’re not on the harbor side, you have to keep wooden blinds closed. On the pricier side for hotels in the area with added fees and quality doesn’t match cost.

Location is fantastic, rooms are clean and homey. None of it compares to the exceptional service. Diamond was fantastic and is an absolute asset to this property. We will definitely be coming back

Hotel Ulysses offers a unique experience with its two distinct bars, Ash Bar and Blooms, both perfect for an intimate evening cocktail. The hotel's art deco/Gatsby feel creates a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The front desk staff, particularly Zuri, goes above and beyond to provide top-notch hospitality. The location is ideal for exploring the historical Mount Vernon neighborhood or taking the free circulator bus to visit other areas of Baltimore.
I truly cannot be more excited about a hotel! Stayed for a long weekend and was impressed from the moment I walked into the lobby. It smells great! Reception was outstanding! Perfect balance of personable and professional. The room is one of the coolest I have ever stayed in. Very thought decorations and the textiles are great! I was able to gaze at the Washington Monument while I was in the bath!!! Bloom, Ash, and the Coral Wig made me feel a lot cooler than I really am. Great atmosphere and craft cocktails. Just a great time in the city! Rare to have an experience that was excellent from start to finish, but everyone that I encountered at the Ulysses was amazing.

We recently stayed here for my birthday weekend 🤪 the room was super cute and chic. I love the old decor in the bathroom 🥰. The beds were very comfortable, great location. We really felt safe 🙏🏾. The parking was great as well it was literally a couple of seconds from the hotel. We stayed in room 411 we going for a suite next trip for sure. The staff was very friendly and nice. The hotel has this scent they make and it smells wonderful inside the hotel Ulysses... Thanks aging everyone for making my stay feel welcomed. ☺️❣️🙏🏾

Convenient location for site seeing, Museums, restaurants and bars. The Hotel Lobby, Elevator & Rooms are clean...although lighting is very dim throughout. The staff was helpful & friendly. The decor throughout is eclectic but interesting and cool. Things to know... -No Valet or bag help at entrance...double park and get your stuff out otherwise you will be dragging it some distance. -Remote Parking about 1 block away & NOT included with room - app or online booking required. The walk between parking & Hotel can be shady at night but we experienced no issues other than a pan handler (some obnoxious) or two. -If you are offended by diversity - this is not your place. -Obvious homeless problem in the area...some can be very rude and vulgar - don't engage. Definitely would consider staying again but would review alternate options first.

OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The rooms are so fun and unique—with color themes that make each one feel like its own experience. The bed? I could’ve stayed in it all day! The girls at the front desk were incredibly helpful—this was my first time in Baltimore and they showed me around with such kindness. The food..chefs kiss!!!! Marguerite was an absolute standout—she might actually be an angel in human form. I ran into her at the bar and she was a breath of fresh air to talk to… and so stylish! She was wearing this amazing dress—and yes, I got one too! I’ll definitely be back. This is officially my new favorite hotel! Love you guys all the way from NYC!!!

What a cool experience, and one that blew my mind when I showed up. I had no idea a hotel could look like this, with an instant vibe of early 1900’s nostalgia. The lighting is fantastic too, dim lit and cozy. Just look at the pictures and tell me this place doesn’t look amazing. They didn’t cheap out on little touches either. My comforter looked like it was custom made. The incredible bar felt like it was really made in the past too, with custom bar stools and couches. The real candle on the table had a dimmer! They had another speakeasy bar outside on the side of the building, with equal vibe ridiculousness. This was a one of a kind spot that is absolutely worth checking out, especially if you’ve seen the same kind of hotel a hundred times! Thank you for the great experience!

This morning is our last day in the city. I don’t think I could describe a better experience. The staff here captivated a charm that made the experience of being in the city warm and welcoming. Deja at the Ash bar is amazing bartender and took so much pride in her craft. She offered some of the best experiences in the city that brought back so much nostalgia of growing up here.

I enjoyed my stay here. I was able to walk to and from Baltimore Penn station from here. I'm from the city so I'm a walker so walk the walk was about 10 minutes. Save money from Uber. The place had a dim ambiance that was a little spooky because I watched things like American horror story but I looked the hotel. Id stay again. This part of Baltimore is really quiet so it was dead at night and during the weekend day actually
Tohn S — Google review
Let’s start with the positives: the location, exteriors, and interiors are all beautiful — the design is truly exquisite and thoughtfully done. Unfortunately, that’s where the good ends... The rooms are TINY by U.S. standards, comparable to the smallest I’ve stayed in Paris. They lack basic amenities: no phone, coffee maker, bottled water, mini fridge, or toiletries beyond soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. The lobby restaurant is also overpriced — an iced coffee costs NINE DOLLARS, which feels absurd given there’s no coffee maker in the room. And the price point overall is hard to justify: $350 a night for a space barely larger than the bed feels excessive, even in high season. I’d think twice before booking here.

Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore is a renowned stadium where the Baltimore Orioles play. It was designed by architecture firm Populous and completed in 1992, setting the trend for retro ballparks and integrating a ballpark into the urban fabric. The stadium's location in downtown Baltimore, near the Inner Harbor, adds to its appeal.
Didn’t try and food here (I know—very unlike me), but the stadium atmosphere and vibes were great. Even on an incredibly hot and humid day, it was a great game. Got to see an incredible 18-0 win for the Orioles against the Rockies which was awesome to watch. Baseball games go by much faster with the shot clock. Stadium itself was nice—lots of history and they have marked home runs outside of the stadium which is cool. Seats are on the older side and could use some renovating though

I fell in love with Oriole Park before even entering the stadium. Camden Yards has a friendly baseball vibe and wonderful atmosphere. The fans were respectful and pleasant. The stadium was clean and aesthetically appealing. The staff at this stadium were amazing. They went above and beyond to help fans with finding seats, concessions, and were patient with any questions or concerns. Everyone seemed happy to work at the stadium. I'm a Red Sox fan and I still felt welcomed in a visiting stadium. I enjoyed walking around the stadium both inside and out. They have some fun and vibrant sports bars outside the stadium as well. This is a must for any baseball fan. I will mention though that I was very disappointed that the stadium doesn't offer tours of the ballpark.

Oreo Park at Camden Yards is an absolutely beautiful ballpark! The seating is comfortable, the ushers are friendly and helpful, and the field itself is stunning. The views from just about anywhere in the park are fantastic, making it a great place to enjoy a game. That being said, the food and drink prices are way too high. It’s gotten to the point where it’s almost unaffordable for the average family, which really takes away from the experience. I’d gladly give this place five stars if the pricing was more reasonable.
Dan C — Google review
Never disappointing coming to Oriole Park! I've attended games here since I was a kid. It's one of the best ballparks in baseball. Very family friendly and all-around friendly. It was fun attending on Jim Palmer jersey night this year. The concessions prices are still comparably cheap, too. I will live and die as an Orioles fan. You can't clip these wings, Yanks. Let's go, O's!

One of the best ball parks around. Gates open about 60 minutes prior to first pitch on Weekdays (a little earlier on weekends). Get there early to experience the whole park. It's worth it. Nice play area on the first base side for the kids. Concessions are pricey but they do let you bring some of your own items in so long as it is in a clear small bag (no glass or aluminum drink containers). I brought in two plastic 20 oz cokes, two sandwiches and some small bags of chips. Be sure to check their policies page carefully in case their are changes. I bought a beer at the game... was 15.99.
Peter B — Google review
What a ballpark! Incredibly impressed with the signage and how well the stadium is branded to start. The trashcans are all Orange and black, which is such a nice touch! Ballpark is well laid out, with almost every highlight on the main concourse level. The kids zone is very well themed and includes lots of games. Eutaw Street has some great spots to eat, and is where the team store is located and a MUST when visiting. There is SO much food to try! A major and diverse selection throughout the ballpark and definitely something for everyone. Seating wise, we sat in the lower bowl and had a fantastic experience. The ushers were all very friendly and helpful, and one usher came right over and gave us a first visit button; loved the attention! There are statues across the ballpark and a nice picnic area too, which is great if you arrive early. Absolutely loved our visit!

I’m biased, but this is the prettiest ballpark in the League. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. The food options are plentiful. The ushers for games are knowledgeable and friendly and there is plenty of fan assistance as well. They continue to refresh and upgrade, keeping her looking beautiful.

Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine is a significant site that played a pivotal role in the War of 1812, inspiring the writing of 'The Star-Spangled Banner,' the U.S. national anthem. Visitors to Baltimore can immerse themselves in its rich history by exploring this iconic fort, along with other historical landmarks like Inner Harbor and Federal Hill Park. Additionally, they can savor freshly caught blue crabs seasoned with Old Bay seasoning for an authentic Baltimore experience.
This historic gem is NOT to be missed. When you arrive, wait for the short movie and be sure to watch. When the window coverings rise, the American flag appears and it is stunning. What a 10/10 presentation! The staff were very kind and helpful. For Patriotism, this is the place to indeed visit!

What an amazing national treasure and a great place to spend an afternoon with friends or family. Walking through the Fort transports you back in time and gives you an overwhelming feeling of national pride. Not to mention, the film documentary at the end of your visit has a truly special surprise at the ending you don’t expect! Do yourself a favor if you’re in Baltimore and go visit Fort McHenry.

Short but informative video to start the tour. Rangers are very knowledgeable about the fort's history. I arrived in time for the flag changing ceremony, which they allow guests to help participate in. Lovely views of the harbor from the fort or walking trails.

SO MUCH FUN! I went for a school field trip, and it did not disappoint. We walked the whole thing, and I loved the preservation of old rooms. My favorite was the one execution cell. The place has high educational value, but it's also a good exercise and it's very interesting. I would love to go again with my family. It was so pretty.

Our family of four had a great visit. We purchased tickets for the shrine, kids were free. Visitor Center has interactive exhibits and 20 min video thats worth staying until the end. Decent gift shop, no food or cafe to speak of. The grounds, views, restorations, rangers, history, and setting are all amazing.

Had an awesome experience learning about Fort McHenry and the buildup to the battle that inspired the Star Spangled Banner. Started off in the visitor center and watch the film and look at all the information panels. Going outside gives you amazing views of the bay, and exploring the fort is an awesome experience. Each building has information about the fort and it's history. I would absolutely come back and would recommend others do the same.
Andrew C — Google review
The NPS Rangers' lack of enthusiasm at this site prevents us from giving it a 5th star. You have to pay extra to walk out to the fort and take a self-guided tour. During our visit, the temperature was extremely high at around 98°F, which may explain the absence of reenactments or ranger-led tours; however, the rangers were still present at the site. The fort's rangers were just standing in the shade, maybe due to the heat. They could have been giving some kind of presentation or talk. We did not get a discount due to the heat, but the experience of being at the historical location was well worth the 4 stars.

The American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore offers a unique museum experience with rotating exhibits by self-taught artists, showcasing works from individuals such as farmers, mathematicians, and prison inmates. The museum challenges traditional notions of professional artistry and features an unconventional architectural layout with curved hallways and rounded gallery walls. Visitors can explore a diverse range of artwork including embroidery, graffiti, sculpture, and film created from unusual mediums like toothpicks and household condiments.
For starters you can go to their gift shop called the “side show” for free and support those artists. Normally gift shops are steep, but this one is not that way. Everything is priced really fairly and has been curated over many decades. I spent about 2hrs at the museum. The museum two buildings, the round mosaic building has 4 floors of art. When I was there it was mixed media. The second building (which you get to by walking through the outdoor sculpture garden) has kinetic art, which means it moves! It has three floors, the third one lets you go into this cool birds nest balcony. There is a lot of attention to detail and cohesion, jam packing art even into the bathrooms or elevators. The stair railings incorporate the cast metal look tree branches and organically bent metal tubing that cohesively can be found if you look closely in the benches, outdoor sculptures, and door handles across the multiple buildings. This is not just celebrating art but showing by example how it can be incorporated into mundane furnishings. Next to highlight the platform and investment this museum put into the children of the community from displaying art to having the mosaics projects that adorn the building involve them. Highly recommend you support .
Melissa G — Google review
Really loved this museum. Great art from only self taught artists, which really shows and is more genuine. Multiple floors in both buildings (ticketed only $10), plus a sculpture garden and tree house you can walk through, ticket or not. The outside of the building is really cool with mosaics and sculptures mounted around. I would highly recommend going in or the very least, walk around the area. I will be going back for new exhibits and look forward to it. The staff were all very nice and informative, as well as, holding knowledgeable and engaging conversations. Even recommendations for local food, ect. spots based on requested restrictions. Being knowledgeable of the area already, the recommended locations were all local and non touristy establishments which I appreciate and honestly expect nothing less from the locals. The Charm City pride is strong here and I love it.
Greg N — Google review
A resident of Baltimore suggested this extraordinary museum located close to the Inner Harbor. I am so happy that I took her advice. This museum will inspire the artist in you. Beautiful sculptures, paintings, and mobiles that will take your breath away. There are two buildings. 3 floors in the main building and 2 in the other. Take your time to browse, there's a lot to see. Don't forget to stop in the gift shop. It is chock full of everything and very reasonable. You will love it. Your children will love it. Fun for the entire family.

Just one of the best! The creativity of the art here is amazing. Definitely a must see. Note:...there is no cafe on the premises or in the near vicinity unless you trek 6+ blocks to we think there is an area with some quick food options. There is a Rusty Scupper restaurant very close to the museum. On the water. Which is nice, but only if you want a relaxing meal and not a quick bite to eat. Also ... there is no museum parking lot, but there is a private parking lot near the Rusty Scupper restaurant and of course street parking ( which could be a bit challenging.for some).
Pam S — Google review
Great art museum! Fun exhibits with very cool artwork. I really enjoyed the sports section and the building has a fun layout with many cool quotes throughout. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys art museums and this is one of my friends’ absolute favorite museums in the US.

I absolutely loved the Good Sports exhibit they had during August. I did also miss a floor of the last building the first time I was there and that's where the permanent Matt Sesow collection is. I really liked that you could buy affordable original art. The gift shop is worth stopping by even if you don't want to see the museum. There's a lot of unique things there. If I lived closer I would have the membership. The pictures I added are from the Good Sports exhibit which is no longer there, but I really enjoyed George Sosnak's baseballs.

The Walters Art Museum is a historic gallery in Baltimore, known for its diverse collection of paintings and artifacts spanning from ancient times to the present. Once considered a blue-collar town with a gritty reputation, Baltimore has undergone a transformation into a vibrant cultural hub. The city now offers contemporary museums, sophisticated dining options, and a reimagined Inner Harbor that attracts art enthusiasts, outdoor lovers, and history buffs.
The Walters Art Museum is truly a hidden gem in Baltimore and an incredible place to explore the art and culture of different countries, especially from the golden ages. From ancient artifacts to beautifully preserved works from Asia, Europe, and Africa, every gallery offers a unique journey through time and across civilizations. We visited on a weekend and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful it was—no crowds, just a calm environment perfect for enjoying the art. One of the best parts is that admission is completely free, and you can enter multiple times in a day, making it easy to take breaks and return at your own pace. The museum also has a charming café and a well-curated gift shop to enhance the overall experience. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Baltimore, this is a must-visit destination to immerse yourself in global art and history. Highly recommended for all ages!

This is a truly wonderful museum. A true gem of Baltimore. The collection is very large and varied art and artifacts from all parts of the world and including European and American pieces and eastern art as well. The displays are very professional and accessible and the staff always very friendly. And, it’s FREE! I have found that parking in the general area is easy to find and not expensive. If you find yourself in Baltimore make time to visit this beautiful museum.

One of the best museums I've ever been to. It starts from the very entrance: they have that beautiful idea with the cards to make your own tour around the museum. Moreover, wherever you go, you see a lot of materials next to the exhibits which give you plenty of ideas and information for a deeper insight. I loved it! And of course, their collection is just overwhelming! There are so many exhibits and all of them are well displayed in intelligently organized spaces. It's the only museum I didn't go to its cafe. There was no time for it. I wanted to squeeze as much as I could from every minute of my being there. Highly recommended to all art-lovers!

It's a gorgeous museum with great art pieces. They have a cool medieval like staircase too. My boyfriend and I got through the museum within abt 2-3 hours, but that's because we skimmed through mostly and stopped to look at and read about the pieces we found most captivating. If you're the type to stop and look at every piece, plan for more time. 😉 I also saw a woman with a wheelchair making her way around the museum so I assume it's atleast somewhat accessible. And it's all free!

The Walters Art Museum is an exceptional center for those who love art, particularly art that spans across thousands of years. I would recommend to start from the upper floor (4th floor) and work one's way down. The fourth floor houses the collection of East Asian items from China, Japan, India, and the Middle East. The collection spans thousands of years of eastern art, and includes manuscripts, ceramics, burial treasures, and many other items. The third floor contains the prized medieval collection which is one of the greatest collections of medieval art in the United States. There are sections that indicate Early Byzantine, Early Medieval, and Gothic eras. There is also an exhibit dedicated to how cats are represented in manuscripts. There is also a representation of a venetian home from the late medieval era, showcasing a merchant's collection that they could accumulate. The third floor also consists of Renaissance and Baroque art. These are mostly from Italy, and have sections for each century of Italian art. The second floor is dedicated to the ancient world as well as armor and collection displays. the ancient section includes art from Ancient Egypt, the Ancient Near East, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Rome. All are detailed and give one an idea of the living and dying rituals of the past. The armor collection is a nice touch, having armor mostly from Germany from the Renaissance that is highly decorative. There is a collector's room that details how a person from the 17th Century would house their collections. There is also a wonder room that showcases how one would collect items in the Early Modern Era. There is also a representation of a Dutch home filled with Dutch art primarily from the 17th Century. The first floor houses the temporary exhibit. This year, the exhibit details the mummification practices of various animals. The museum shop also has a variety of prints, mugs, stickers, books pertaining to their collection, journals, and jewelry that reflects the items in their collection. In terms of accessibility, there are elevators and even wheelchair lifts in spots so that everyone can see their entire collection. There is no fee to get in as of 2025, but you do have to pay around twenty dollars for parking across the street from the entrance. Overall, this is a must see if you are in the Baltimore area, and be sure to donate as they rely on donations to keep the place running for free for all visitors.

The Walters was the first place I visited after checking into my hotel around the corner. It’s a beautiful building with a great collection of art from all over the world. It’s easy to get through on a 2-3 hour visit and open until 8 on Thursday evenings.

What an excellent installation. Absolutely terrific artwork, sculptures, and great rotating exhibits. Highly reccomend for all ages, and good budget option for a great couple of hours in downtown Baltimore.

Very nice museum. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely recommend checking them out. Add this spot to your list of free things to do in Baltimore!

The B&O Railroad Museum, a National Historic Landmark, is a significant site in U.S. railroad history. It showcases nearly 200 locomotives and features a model train display as well as offering train rides. The museum originated from the planning of the first commercial long-distance train track in the United States by Baltimore businessmen and engineers in 1829.
A really cool museum. The trains are beautifully restored and full of history. Highly recommend. They have an area for kids to play with wooden trains, books and blocks. The mile train ride was also great. Ice cream on board! The only drawback was it was really hot in the summer so if heat is a factor there is not many air conditioned areas. But we had a great time!

We had a great experience. My son loved all the trains they have there. Super well maintained. Super clean and super organized. Staff was amazing. We went on the 30 min train ride and it was amazing. There is a café with delicious options and a gift store with lots of good a good stuff with great prices. The museum has free parking for the visitors . We had a great time there.

I had a great experience, first time I've been to the museum. Such a great atmosphere. Youre encouraged to wander and learn. Many exhibits are interactive in some way. The staff was amazing and happy to share their passion. I highly reccomend you visit. I consider the ticket to be a bargain for as much fun as I had!

My son is an adult with autism. He loves trains. He'd been excited for a month for our trip. He was is heaven seeing all of the incredible trains. All the employees were very kind and very informative. This is an incredible place to go. Highly recommend it
Dotti L — Google review
This museum has an amazing array of trains. They were displayed well in an organized logical fashion in the beautiful round house. There was a very interesting variety of trains outside in the yard and in the maintenance building. The explanations were concise and comprehensive. It was fun to be able to go into some of the trains. The model train sets, history of the underground, and play areas for kids make this an amazing display of the history of trains. I very highly recommend this museum for anyone, train buff or not.

This museum was outstanding. We loved seeing all the trains but the highlight was the tour of their repair facility. Amazing detail, inside and outside, and seeing the tooling was incredible. Would love to go back and spend more time.

We visited the museum on sunday 10/26. Beautifully maintained museum! The staff (mother and son :-) were knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We truly enjoyed our visit and learned so much—thank you!

What tremendous fun! I particularly appreciated the Underground Railroad exhibit. It was beautifully done. Riding the train was a lovely little exercise in history, and getting to explore the space was fantastic. 10/10!

Great experience, it was a little warm but only because they had a power shortage and the electricity was just turned back on. Lots of Black Maryland history and their gift shop has a lot of cute things I wanted. If you have never been, definitely check it out.

This is a wonderful black history museum that centers on the culture in Maryland as well as the plight of black Americans in the South. The second floor of the museum has a section that is dedicated to the achievements of Mr. Lewis as a great black American businessman. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Celebrates the legacy of Reginald Lewis and African American history and culture in Maryland. A must see if you visit Baltimore.

We had such a good time, we're thinking 🤔 about chartering buses to bring Brooklynites to Baltimore for some TITAN grit. We were only able to take in the 3rd floor fully. The exhibits are so powerfully informative. We're definitely coming back for PART II and III.

Visited 04/13/25 Very cool place. 3 levels of African American history. Highlighting the milestones and achievements with such rich history. Plenty to read, memorabilia and hand made quilts in a nice, clean building inside and out. Well worth the $12 admission.

9/12/2024 I loved this place it was very informational i learned so much about my ppl that i didn't already know. I loved all of the exhibits even though all of them weren't open it was still a large amount that was. This isn't a museum you should rush through take you time and take it all in and you wont be disappointed with you experience. I would definitely go back to see what i couldn't see when i was there. I went when it first opened so it was really no one in there which was perfect i got to stay at each exhibit as long as i wanted with no interruptions..

Some precious soul researched every recorded local lynching (and there were thousands of these hate crimes across the U.S), and procured dirt from each location. There is a sobering memorial room with a name and description of each person and story represented. I appreciate the focus on local history, and the breadth of information. I was a little disappointed that there weren’t more actual artifacts from locals like Frederick Douglass, who worked the ship yards around the corner, or Harriet Tubman. There is a copy of the North Star, but I think it’s a replica. There are some artifacts, for sure. I just felt it was heavy on the replicas and informational plaques.
