The Westin St. John Resort Villas is a beachfront property located on 47 acres along a beautiful white-sand beach. The resort offers one- to three-bedroom villas, with plans to convert hotel rooms into vacation villas. Guests can enjoy direct beach access, two restaurants, an outdoor pool, a spa, and sports courts. The well-maintained grounds are surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, providing a serene atmosphere for families or remote working groups.
Beautiful resort in St Johns. We loved our stay there. The beaches around the island are gorgeous. There are wild iguanas all around the resort. Grounds were kept clean and the pool was nice. Lots of amenities including pickleball, tennis, gym, and smoothies at the pool.

We arrived around 8 p.m. to a large property and were welcomed by a receptionist who was friendly and provided a clear explanation of the resort amenities. Our villa was spacious and clean, comfortably for four people. However, there was a noticeable, slightly odd smell when we entered, possibly from the washing machine or simply the age of the building.Parking was easy during our stay since there were few guests, but it could be challenging when the resort is busy. Because the property is so large, a car or golf cart service is essential for getting around. Our villa was conveniently located near a small pool, which we enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped for anyone who wants to cook. Overall, it’s a roomy and well-equipped place for a relaxing stay, though the initial odor and potential parking issues are worth noting.
Hazel B — Google review
Beautiful resort with the pier attached. Highly recommend taking the Westin ferry. Can take back and forth as you wish during your stay. Service is 50/50…either amazing or super rude. Room was super nice but in need of an update. So much cool wildlife to see.
Jennifer M — Google review
St. John is 1 of the smaller virgin islands but so worth the visit. We are owners and this was our 1st visit here. Westin did not disappoint. From arrival to departure, I felt taken care of. The villa was amazing, comfortable, with stylish decor. The layout was a little off. Like you had to squeeze into spaces if you opened a door. Weird, but only a slight inconvenience. Shuttles are all across the property so you don't have to walk. Plus, you can call for 1 before you even leave your room or pick up a yellow phone to request 1. Everyone was nice. We were greeted on arrival to a nice rum punch cocktail. Non-alcoholic versions are available as well. Our luggage was delivered to our villa. We were checked in so quick. I've never gotten checked in without a "process" before. We asked for a resort tour around the property. It was nice.✅️ It may be cheaper to take the public ferry ⛴️ and all to the resort but I recommend going thru Westin. Iguanas 🦎 big and small love the island so brace yourself. 1 day, I even saw a stork. Gorgeous 😍 Deer are around too, but I'm used to them. 1 last tip. You have to take a taxi for almost any and everything because Cruz Bay is the closest town and not within walking distance. Probably not a safe walk either. The roads there are hilly, narrow, curvy, and I felt death was near every time 😂 Also, unless you are used to driving on the opposite side of the road, don't rent a car. Taxis are cheaper anyway. Or stay at the resort. You don't have to leave because they have everything. Unless you're a beach person. Taxis will take you. Westin has a wonderful pool but not a beach.
Van — Google review
Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed at and it all started with the horrendous staff and the check in. If you thought any other “island time” folks were slowing and uncaring, look no further than the Westin on St. John’s. I haven’t even left the property but thank goodness I’m checking out asap. Check in: guaranteed by 4pm. Was after 530pm we could get in and it’s during their non-season. None of the front desk workers provided any reasonable updates or do anything. No effort no care on their part at all. Next, the rooms and kitchen space just have generally horrible design. The power goes out at least twice per day, causing the AC to reset so it jacks up to 75 degrees at night and you have to go turn it down in the middle of your sleep. That’s fun. The parking lot is far too small when every rented car is a Jeep with the turning radius of a rhino. Finally, the staff - specifically front desk and the men driving the golf carts, are the worst I have ever encountered. They only are there to get you in trouble, they let other Jeeps drive all over but god forbid you move the Jeep a few spots closer temporarily to pack on check out day they freak out and try to write you a ticket. The golf cart people never offer to move any of their luggage or help at all, they just patrol doing nothing. I’ll never in a million years stay here again. The place flat out sucks and if you want to “explore” St John’s just take a ferry for half a day from St. Thomas. I’ll never go back. Also almost all the food on the island sucks too.
Vince Z — Google review
We enjoyed our stay here overall. The rooms could use a bit of updating, but they were comfortable and worked well for us and it was quiet. The service was great for the most part, though we were disappointed that the concierge we were assigned wasn’t available to welcome us and never responded to our email about restaurant reservations we booked through him. However the first shuttle driver we had, Neil, was amazing and we loved the welcome drinks they provided after we got off the ferry. One downside was that the on-site restaurants closed pretty early, and because our room was a bit far from the main activity areas, we often had to rely on the shuttle. It would be nice if they had some late night options past 9pm. That said, taxis were easy to access, and despite a few inconveniences, we had a good stay and enjoyed our time here.
Lea W — Google review
The Website is very old and is NOT representative. This is NOT a high end place. Its a beat up 3 star TIME SHARE condo. TV didnt work for 3 days and nobody came to fix. Asked every day. The service is really bad. Almost NO transportation. Not happy staff. You wait forever. The place is beat up. Remote area. Have to cab it to everywhere. Nothing walkable. I'd return to St John as will my group but NEVER would we stay here again. Being fair its a 6. Staff agreed that "understaffed" and everyone complains so transportation.

As a long time Marriott member this resort is a very big disappointment stay away! Just got here 1 day ago and can’t get out fast enough! Rooms are very small dated and dirty! The pool is green so much so the pool girl said she wouldn’t go in it! The overall cleanliness is terrible, outside furniture is old and worn, the grounds need repairs or ay the very least a good power washing. No sign of maintenance people anywhere! As soon as the Marriott customer service opens tomorrow I will be on the phone with them! I can’t say anything good about this place.

Island
St. Thomas is a renowned destination famous for its picturesque beaches, snorkeling opportunities, and historical landmarks. It's a popular spot for luxury Caribbean vacations, attracting numerous cruise ships and affluent travelers seeking oceanfront villa rentals with stunning views of the turquoise sea. The island offers a blend of cosmopolitan scenes and traditional island charm, making it an ideal getaway for families as well. Additionally, investing in real estate on St. Thomas provides similar processes to purchasing property in the U.S.
I Love St Thomas. The Island is so Beautiful and lush. The waters are magnificent and bright blue. Mountain Top Banana Daiquiri is highly recommended with the view of Meagan's Bay below.
Darren B — Google review
the locals drive like it's Pakistan. Beware the sea weed in the summer. bring at least $300.00 a day for food... duty-free stores are a joke , they say no tax , however, everything you buy is at least 3x more expensive than anywhere else. Just price some booze... aside from the horrible drivers and way extra priced everything the views are great the water is super clear ,and if you get away from the cruise area it's better. I did not cruise had a car so I did see entire island.
Brant N — Google review
If we ever make it back to the island I would stay here in a second. We stayed here for half of our honeymoon, after fleeing St. John to st Thomas right before Hurricane Irma hit. No one would take us in. I begged them at the desk while my wife sat in the rental about to cry. They took us in and boarded us up in a concrete villa. Hurricane shutters and all. After the complete destruction we all became a family and took care of each other and waited for rescue. The cooks there made us our first hot meal maybe days later down by the water. We ate MRE meals from the military throughout and had saved water in our bathtub and all the bowls in the villa. A lot of the lower buildings were destroyed and roofs ripped off. It was terrifying. The aftermath was almost more terrifying than the storm as the island was so destroyed no one could get food or buy anything let alone drive anywhere with phone poles blocking roads and electrical wires everywhere. This is but a short description of the ordeal. We were eventually rescued by a ln old cruise ship. I believe we might have written a thanks shortly after but with Hurricane season starting it made me remember how wonderful the people at this place were to us. Truly like saved our lives. We had nowhere else to stay and time was running out. Thank you again from Buffalo NY. We stayed in B-15. I have tons of professional photos of the damage and trip 😞

One of my favorite spots in the Caribbean. So much stuff to do in such an amazing city. Will definitely be returning next year.
Jacob W — Google review
If you want jaw dropping views this is the place! St. John offers tons of bays, turtles, crystal clear water and is just a ferry away from St. Thomas
Trish K — Google review
We're going to try to come back every year it's amazing that you can swim in the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea in the same day. And the water is beautiful. So are the beaches. The people are very kind and very helpful.

The U.S. Virgin Islands are so much fun and there are so many fun things to do! I highly recommend St Thomas! The U.S. Virgin Islands are truly a tropical paradise, and St. Thomas is no exception! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the island's stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant culture. There's so much to see and do in St. Thomas. I spent my days lounging on the beach, snorkeling in the turquoise waters, and exploring the charming town of Charlotte Amalie. I also had the opportunity to hike through lush rainforests and visit historical sites like Blackbeard's Castle. The locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The food was delicious, with a variety of fresh seafood and Caribbean flavors. If you're looking for a fun and relaxing vacation, I highly recommend visiting St. Thomas. It's a truly unforgettable destination that has something to offer everyone.

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas is a luxurious beachfront hotel currently undergoing a $100 million renovation after being closed due to hurricane damage in 2017. The property will reopen in December with refreshed rooms and suites, new dining venues, and the return of its private luxury catamaran, Lady Lynsey II. Guests are currently staying at The Ritz-Carlton Club next door and are eagerly anticipating the full reopening.
We stayed at the Ritz condos. So nice. The food was very good and the pools. We also went on the Yacht for a sunset cruise. Highly recommend. It was very quiet when we went and was not over crowded in October for fall break last year. The staff was helpful. There was a large settlement of seaweed there but that was not their fault. We went snorkeling At st John and Virgin Islands so it wasn’t a big deal. The iguanas were funny.
Suzette W — Google review
I must say the service here was great and the food was decent. The rooms were spacious and the property felt safe. For this price point... the team here HAS to step up the cleanliness. Nothing in the room "felt" clean as many others have stated. I had my own Clorox wipes and wiped down as much as I could but for the price point that is absolutely ridiculous. Due to the rooms/linen not being clean I would recommend staying elsewhere. Good place to relax and getaway, but they dont seem to have any events or fun things going on on-site. Also there's a kids pool and a splash pad but most of the kids end up in the other pool... Would not stay at this location again. Step it up guys.

Lovely hotel and property- the staff went above and beyond for us during our stay making sure our anniversary/ honeymoon was extra special and all our needs were met. We utilized the excursions arranged by the hotel through Cruz Bay water sports and had a phenomenal time. The club lounge was an excellent value add and is highly recommended, even at the premium. The concierge was very helpful with reservations and went above and beyond giving us suggestions about the area and getting us into local restaurants at the last minute. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Here.

Ok, the hotel does not live up to the Ritz Carlton standards. The facility was a little bit run down with cabinet doors made of composite wood were swollen at areas and peeling off. The bathtub in one of our 2 rooms had a very large crack. The bathroom sink caulking has mold (room 249 building F), the light feature fotlr make up was off, after complaint was replaced to break down again. The floors near the toilets were dirty, (stained). We saw 2 cockroaches ( I wont blame them for it, its the tropics after all). If you are hoing to book this hotel, I highly recommend a room with club access, this is like an all inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner plus drinks and dessert all included while in the club. Not many restaurant options in the facility and their menus were limited. The service was exceptional. The club staff were amazing. Harrison was super friendly and certainly shows how much he loves his job. Overall a great experience, but not even near Ritz Carlton Level. The staff were very friendly with the room being refresed most night berofe going to bed.
William L — Google review
This was our families first experience with the Ritz-Carlton. The staff was extremely kind majority of the visit and made our honeymoon pleasant. The resort itself is beautiful. It was unfortunate we came during major renovations. I do wish there were more amenities for the price we paid, but overall the experience was positive.
Justin R — Google review
From the moment we showed up, we were greeted with a big smile And great vibes from Johnny Who handled our luggage and set us up with the front desk to get checked in. The Summerwind coffee shop Aaliyah and her team were fantastic. One of the best parts of my days was Aaliyah’s big smile every morning with a great cup of coffee and attitude. Our friends wedding at the Ritz was remarkable incredible setting wonderful food and service with an outstanding bartender and DJ. The pool and beach were fantastic and I would highly recommend the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas to any friends and family. This place is a Gem

Excellent Club Level stay at the Ritz St. Thomas. Staff went above and beyond to make sure our trip was memorable. Immaculate rooms and grounds. Special thanks to Ruth (club level), JJ (club level), Patrick (front desk), and Dwayne (management) for 5 star treatment. Last but not least, a very special 'thank you' to Harrison at the Club Level for making our trip super special. Other Ritz Carlton Club Levels should use Harrison as their gold standard for providing exceptional service and customer care. Thanks again.

We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton in St Thomas and it was an absolute delight! We stayed 5 nights. All of the staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. There was always someone there to greet us no matter what part of the resort we were on and they were always willing to help! We had several lengthy conversations with the staff about places to try, history of the area, etc., by the time we left we felt like we knew many of them. Bruce and Prince were fabulous, always professional and also entertaining when dropping us off or picking us up from our building. Kimora checked us in and was so sweet and welcoming! Honestly every person we encountered was accommodating, happy and helpful. The staff checked all the boxes for our expectations!! The concierge was able to book us the sunset cruise and that was a fun experience! We had breakfast at Bleuwater (on property) every morning, it was always delicious (I wish I could remember the server’s name she was so sweet!)! The rooms were spacious, beautiful, classy and very comfortable. The main building and lobby is just stunning! So many details all over this resort make it just such a treat to be there. I read some of the negative reviews before we went and now having stayed there I just can’t understand where any complaints come from. We travel often and have stayed at many resorts. This place was a dream!!

Estate Lindholm is a charming hillside hotel located on the northern side of Cruz Bay, offering an intimate tropical retreat for adults. Surrounded by lush tropical forest and within walking distance to multiple beaches, this family-run resort features over 17 country-style rooms with patios or balconies boasting magnificent views of Cruz Bay. The tranquil property is nestled in serene surroundings, providing a blend of comfort and natural beauty while emphasizing sustainability.
My Wife and I stayed here at the end of June for 5 nights. We enjoyed our stay at Estate Lindholm. The property was very nice and quiet. The room was clean and had incredible views. The property was close to Cruz Bay and the National Park. You could walk to Cruz Bay if you wanted. We had a Jeep and always drove. The management and employees were very nice and helpful. The next time we go to St. John we will stay at Estate Lindholm.

Wow!! We couldn't have possibly stayed at a better inn on St. John! Brion, Tim, Savannah and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and very willing to share their intimate knowledge of the island. The room (Salomon) was spacious, clean, quiet and the balcony provided a perfect viewing area of Cruz Bay out to St Thomas. A perfect vantage point to watch all of the harbor activities. The daily continental breakfast hit the spot and provided a great setting to gather the local insights. We will certainly recommend Estate Lindholm to all of our friends. Thanks for a wonderful 35th wedding anniversary vacation!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Estate Lindholm during our honeymoon on St. John. This B&B had a charming atmosphere with a lovely view. It was in a great location - within easy walking distance of Cruz Bay (a quarter mile) and of multiple hiking trails, including some down to the beaches. As hikers, we especially appreciated the hosts/owners, who gave us their personal recommendations for hikes. We ended up abandoning many of our initial, more touristy plans to follow their suggestions. And we're thrilled that we did so, because their recommendations took us further afield to some of the most incredible hiking trails, historically fascinating ruins, and most stunning (and far more secluded) beaches that we've ever seen. Highly recommend!
John G — Google review
We stayed at Estate Lindholm as our first visit to the Virgin Islands celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. The estate is perfectly located overlooking Cruz Bay and right next to the Virgin Island National Park. Breakfast on the patio each morning included enjoyable conversation with Brion (owner) and his daughter Savanna discussing your plans and offering suggestions on points of interest to make the most of your visit. Each room included beach chairs, portable cooler, beach towels, and floating noodles that were nice little conveniences that made the stay even more enjoyable. Estate Lindholm has an on-site generator. The island lost power overnight during our stay for approximately 12 hours, we did not notice. Thanks Brion, Savanna & Tim for making our first visit to St. John just perfect. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.
KJW — Google review
We had a fantastic stay at Estate Lindholm. The room was clean with wonderful views (Salomon). We enjoyed sunsets and stargazing from our balcony. The location is close to National Park trails and beaches as well as restaurants and is very convenient. It is only a short hike from the estate to the Visitor Center. The entire staff takes the time to get to know you and help with activities during your visit. The grounds are beautiful thanks to Leo the gardener.
Ronald W — Google review
My husband and I loved this charming, beautifully kept inn, with its lovely flowers, welcoming staff, winding paths, and perfect location above Cruz Bay. It was a 5-minute walk to Lind Point Trail, which led to Honeymoon Beach, one of my favorites, and a short drive to other North Shore beaches, all gorgeous. We stayed in the Solomon room, which had a spectacular view from its large private balcony, very comfortable bed and pillows, spacious, with a sink, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, spotless, great AC, and regular visits from Boots, one of the hotel cats. This is a special place, peaceful and unique, generous with good beach chairs, towels, and cooler, plus advice on where to go from the family, who has lived on St. John for more than 50 years. We look forward to our next visit.
Emily D — Google review
The location was perfect for us. We walked into Cruz Bay and home every evening for drinks/dinner. The road down is ~.2 miles and is a steeper hill so easier down then up but for us it was very manageable and it had nice views along the short walk and saved us the hassle of finding a place to park or wait for a taxi. Would be a tough walk if you have bad knees however but taxis are easy to come by and its a very short trip into town. Hiking and beaches right outside the hotel. The place was always clean with beautiful gardens and flowers as a special touch cut every morning by Leo. The owners were very helpful and amazing hosts, along with their staff. It felt very intimate and homey and we really enjoyed getting to talk about the island, Exchange travel stories, hear things to see on the island and plan what bays may have the best snorkeling that day with Tim, Savannah and Brian every morning on the veranda. Breakfast on the veranda was fresh and simple. Fruit, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, coffee and juices. Though located on the main road, we never heard cars driving by, though sounds from cruz Bay would travel up the hills pretty easily, yet it was still quieter then being down on the bay itself. The noises of nature - birds and tree frogs probably drowned out most of any noise!
Charlie B — Google review
Loved every minute of our stay and were sad to go. Breakfast was delicious, but would also like to see some variety from day to day. The grounds are amazingly beautiful and Leo the groundskeeper is a lovely fella! St.John and this estate hold a special place in my heart. Can't wait to return some day.

Great resort, very friendly staff! I look forward to my next trip to StJohn and I will definitely be looking to stay at Gallows Point Resort. It was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown and the shuttle service. The staff is very accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The location is great right on the water and close to downtown. The rooms are in a major need of upgrading. The water was not working this morning. Not good for the amount of $ they charge. The property is nicely manicured and you can swim right off the property. There is a constant stream of boating activity to watch also

This was our 2nd time staying at Gallows Point and it’s just as good as we remembered. The rooms are amazing, views are the best on the island, and you can walk to everything you need. Highly recommend and we’re already planning our 3rd stay.

One of our favorite places to stay!! Clean units, great amenities and fabulous customer service. Every room we have stayed in offers a great view. Love the store being on site for last minute groceries!! The offer a shuttle if you bring a lot of luggage and need help from the ferry. The location is absolutely perfect! This is our 5th year staying here and will be back again next year!!

Unfortunately I have to leave the following honest review of Gallows Point. We booked Gallows point resort for 5 Days in August. We were excited to stay here after reading a lot of the other reviews. Upon checking in at 3 pm (check in time) we were told that our room was not ready yet due to som issues with the bathroom. We waited for an hour in the lobby in the sweltering heat until we were moved to a different room because the issue was still going on. Upon checking into the new room (4B) the smell of chemicals and cleaner was so strong we had to open all windows and leave the room for 3 hours while it aired out. The smell made both my wife and I ill. We waited by the pool for 2 hours, then went back to the room to try to get ready for our 630 dinner reservation at 1864 (which was absolutely amazing!) When we arrived back to the room it still smelled so we had to then shower and get ready in a room where the temperature was now over 90 degrees due to us having to have the windows open to air it out. The rooms are ok, the furniture def needs an upgrade in the living room but that wasn’t an issue, we could live with that. I will say the ONE positive thing was that when we got back from dinner and were able to shut the windows and turn on the AC, the AC was the best AC we experienced on our 14 day trip. Here’s where the nightmare really begins. We arrive home from dinner and rinse off and get ready to go to bed. Upon laying down on the mattress, we both knew were were in for a long night. The mattress was the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on and has to be at least 20 years old. It was awful. There was also an extremely bright light outside (resort light) that we had no way to block out or turn off. (Imagine trying to sleep in a tanning bed with the lights on and on your Grandmothers mattress). So my wife tossed and turned for a couple hours. You would think it couldn’t get any worse right? WRONG! Around 2am a loud beeping noise starts outside of our room and continues until 7am where we found out that this was due to something wrong with the sewer. This was the absolute worst night of sleep I have ever attempted, worse then sleeping on the floor of an airport overnight, worse then camping in sub zero weather, pure torture. At 7am we exit our room to see the workers. They apologized for the intrusion and began working on the sewer equipment to clear some sort of clog that the alarm was notifying them off. I carried all our our luggage to the front desk, explained that we would be checking out and moving to a new hotel due to the torturous night we experienced here. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic and nice and we were on our way. One week later I checked the hotel bill and noticed we did not receive any type of refund for the remaining nights that we did not stay there. I contacted the front office thinking this must be some kind of oversight. I figured it would be worked out easily and we could move on. WRONG. Apparently it states “ No refunds for early departures will be issued.” listed in the cancelation policy. So I’m being charged $2000,00 because I refused to endure 4 more continued nights of torture at their resort. This place is an absolute scam, DO NOT STAY here. In the end, even if they would have told me upon checking out that I wasn’t going to get my money back, I still would have left and made the same decision I did because no one should have to endure the type of torture you will endure if you choose to try to get some rest at this resort. I’ll be contacting my credit card company and reporting this scam. What a wonderful way to spend our anniversary. Do check out the wharfside village. It’s a lovely hotel

First off, I am normally someone who never writes reviews. Secondly, I am someone who never vacations in the same place twice, but Gallows Point Resort may have just changed my mind! The island is beautiful and relaxed, and Gallows Point Resort reflects that. From the moment we got there, hospitality was unmatched. Everyone was kind, friendly, and accommodating, picking us and our luggage up from the dock. The property is well-maintained, clean, quiet, and peaceful. The pool area is just what I needed- clean and spacious, with enough shade from the umbrellas, with many adjacent poolside chairs and a hot tub. Not to mention, the resort is directly on the water, so alongside the pool and lower deck/platform area is its own "pier" with snorkeling opportunities from the hotel itself! The location of the resort was also great- we were able to walk easily to nearby restaurants and shops without an issue, didn't rent a car at all. For the times where we wanted to go further inland, the resort was able to help us call reputable taxis, so we never worried about our safety. Our first night there, we ate at their on-site restaurant Ocean 362, with a beautiful sunset view. I'm from NYC (so I never have high expectations of any food while vacationing), but their rack of lamb is one of the best tasting meals I've ever had. THIS is your sign to book Gallows Point Resort! And if you need more convincing, here is a picture of our view from the balcony!!

Magens Bay Beach is a renowned destination, consistently ranked among the world's best beaches. Its expansive white sands and clear aquamarine waters are complemented by a backdrop of lush greenery, creating an idyllic setting for various water activities like swimming, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. The beach also features amenities such as concessions, equipment rentals, lifeguards, picnic areas, and a nature trail through coconut groves.
Heaven on earth. Most beautiful place ever. So clean. Great parking. Great food. So relaxing. You can rent just about any water activity. Paddle boarding, chairs, snorkeling. Seen so many turtles, stingray, so many colorful fish and sharks. Seriously heaven on earth. With sand sent from a higher power for sure.

Beautiful beads, clean ,water is calm, not too deep. Changing Rooms clean bars, you can rent chairs but the food is a little pricey entrance fee is also pricey $7 per person for none residence and you’re not allowed to leave and returned same day, you have to pay every time you return.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you want nasty water, tons of boats, big crowd, and trashy beaches, this place sucks. But if you want a beautiful beach with clear water, peace, and a place for the family, Magens beach is amazing!!

Beautiful beach, water is so clear ,ez to get to.U have to pay to enter ,for 3 of us little over $20.There is a souvenir shop, pizza and sandwich shop. This may be the most beautiful beach at Saint Thomas.I was only at 3 of Saint Thomas beaches.
Bill S — Google review
Magens Bay Beach is absolutely beautiful. We were there during off season so it wasn't very crowded which made both parking and finding a great spot on beach to drop our stuff easy. Definitely park or head way down to the left on the beach away from the restaurant. That first area is where all the cruise ship people get dropped off and stay and that gets crowded fast. Water and sand are perfect and lots of sea turtles eating sea grass if you snorkel out towards the markers
KJ E — Google review
Water was cool and clear and teaming with fish and other water animals. Beach was beautiful and well maintained with fine white sand. There is a bar and food options on the beach. Also you can rent all kinds of beach equipment including chairs, masks, water floats, etc. It also has a place to rinse off and change before leaving the beach. It was a little crowded with 3 cruise ships in port but that wasn't that bad as the beach is very long. Highly recommended for a dip for a few hours.
Patrick T — Google review
This is one of our favorite beaches in St. Thomas. It has a beautiful white sand beach that is spacious enough to provide seating for large crowds, along with crystal blue waters. We usually attend on days when cruise ships are not in, which makes it nice and peaceful without crowds. The shallow sandy beach does not require water shoes, as there are few rocks or coral in the wading areas. They have public bathrooms, a gift shop, and a place to get drinks and food. We had plenty of space to lay towels out in the shade of the nearby trees, but they also provide seats and umbrellas for a charge. Also, there is a charge for adults visiting the beach plus they charge for parking. I think our party of 5 with parking was around $40. For those who think the snorkeling is not great, I think they may have missed where the action is. I’d recommend walking to the end of the beach on the northern part and swim along the rocky coastline to see some great aquatic life. The south rocky coastline also has good snorkeling. The sandy beaches make the visibility not the best at times, but we saw some turtles and a good variety of fish. Definitely worth the visit next time you’re in St. Thomas!
Mike M — Google review
Costs around 30 dollars for a group of 4 to get in, and there's sewage runoff that goes directly into the area you swim (you can actually watch the brown water dispense into the clearer water) on the other hand, when there's not actual human feces being dispensed into the water the beach is very clear and nice. The food is also good.

Nestled in St. Thomas, Secret Harbour Beach Resort offers a laid-back atmosphere with its beachfront location and array of amenities. The resort boasts an outdoor pool, gym, and water sports for guests to enjoy. With two on-site restaurants including the Sunset Grille, dining options are plentiful. Formerly part of Wyndham, the independent Sugar Bay Resort and Spa overlooks St. John and the British Virgin Islands from its bluff location.
We stayed for 7 nights in a beachfront 2 bedroom unit. Accommodations were super comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the reef is stunning. We spent hours snorkeling each day; the bay is calm and snorkeling is good for beginners or those more experienced. There are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas and shady spots under the beautiful trees. The patio bar makes a delicious BBC, and the food was wonderful. Everyone we encountered was friendly and very helpful. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience. This was our second stay and we will be back.

We ate lunch here and the food was amazing. Our waitress was great. The beachview on the patio was perfect and the menu offered lots of choices. The beach here was superb. The crowd had a nice share of families. The water was fairly clear and the beach was very clean. Chairs, umbrellas were all offered for a cost.
Sherika S — Google review
Great location, beach was great and house cleaning was fantastic. Lost all water pressure one night and ran out of hot water very fast every day. Room needed a new mattress. Restaurant was great.
Josh B — Google review
The views of the ocean and beach are absolutely stunning — definitely a highlight of the stay. The rooms are very nice and well-kept, making for a comfortable experience overall. The only downside was the service at the restaurant. While the food is great once it arrives, the wait time was over 45 minutes, which really took away from the experience. If they can improve the speed of service, this place would be nearly perfect.

Absolutely loved our stay at Secret Harbour. I was there with my husband but we are already talking about bringing the kids back in a few years. Rooms were spacious and clean with a full kitchen and private patio. The beach was amazing with ample chairs and hammocks. The water was calm and perfect for snorkeling. We frequently ate/drank at the Patio- the food ranged from mediocre to great but the drinks were consistently fantastic. I could not recommend this hotel more!
Liz S — Google review
Our trip to Secret Harbour was great! The snorkeling was very fun and convenient off right off the shore. The restaurants were delicious, and you can't beat the views! We did run into a few snags with our room though. The water pump went out and we were without water for a day, and when it was turned back on it was very brown and dirty, and we had an issue with our deadbolt on our door. It locked and would not open back up, we were stuck in our room overnight. I brought up our issues with on reservation supervisor, and she did everything in her power to help us out, and gave us some restaurant credit for our troubles. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the island. It is stunning and the location is very close to Red Hook, where there are shops and restaurants, along with the ferry rides to St. John!
Joe K — Google review
The beach/location is fantastic. It was not overly crowded. There’s also a decent restaurant steps away. Our room was dated and had several issues. The toilet didn’t work except for every third flush. Our tv didn’t work most of the time, which wouldn’t be a big deal if it wasn’t playoff basketball. We also didn’t have water for part of our stay because of a pipe that burst. The room was very clean though. And the staff attempted to address our issues. Overall the accommodations were mid, but the view and beach were fantastic.
Dawn B — Google review
Posting approximately a month after our stay to ensure the validity of our statements and to not be emotional yet factual. We got married at Secret Harbour 6/14/25 and had 32 guests fly in! 16 of our guests stayed at the resort alongside my new husband and I. In booking our wedding, we realize the hotel & our planners are two separate entities. However, we were informed that we would be given upgrades for the fact we were having our wedding there and the amount of people that stayed using our code. We are still trying to understand where our upgrades were. Out of all our friends/couples, we the bride and groom, had the smallest room given to us. There was absolutely no space to do hair & make up for my mom & I in our tiny room. We had to use a friends room that had prime location on the beach. Maybe the room that should have been given to the bride & groom? We don’t like to complain so we dealt with it. Thought maybe a bottle of champagne in our room or something on our wedding day… absolutely nothing. Except! The ceiling did start leaking on our wedding night. We informed the front desk and on our last full day they asked us if we wanted to pack up and move rooms for the last night before checking out in the morning. Appreciate the offer, however, spending our last full day after our wedding shuffling rooms was not ideal. We declined and had to walk around puddles in our room that was already small as is. Nishema was the only kind employee at the front desk. The older woman was very rude and blamed problems on us. Including a taxi driver that drove my solo sister to a dangerous location, she said my sister took the wrong taxi and yelled at me. However the driver said the location my sister was supposed to go to, therefore she took the correct taxi. In attempting to speak to her, as mentioned she simply yelled at me. Which was unacceptable. Nishema always had a smile on her face and was so helpful with any questions. We really appreciated her. The very first night, there were no working toilets on the property for approximately 6-7 hours. That was a little rough and unexpected. This could happen anywhere and does not reflect the rating, simply mentioning it. The beach hut was nice and the men that staffed that were kind & helpful. It was nice exchanging wet towels when needed and grabbing cold water bottles. Sunset grille saved the trip as the food was delicious. We enjoyed many of the appetizers at the patio, the pizza and salads were great. Again, we understand the wedding planners and resort are separate entities, however very displeased with the resort. We were emailed approximately a week after we left regarding the leaking ceiling and offered a free 2 night stay. That was nice but simply did not make up for our situation in which we brought 16 guests to the resort and had zero wedding upgrades provided. We LOVE the island and will be returning to celebrate future anniversaries, however, that will never be at Secret Harbour, which is a real shame and makes us very sad.

The most relaxing vacation we ever had. Highly recommend this island if you want a low key, relaxing environment. Few things that are a plus: no passport, most cell phone service works down there, no sales tax, no fishing license required, and everyone is friendly. We stayed at a hotel that was 15 ft away from the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Garden by the Sea B&B...and it is truly a B&B!! The breakfasts that Eileen made each morning were delightful! Location is excellent and only 3 rooms, so not crowded at all. They even loaned us beach chairs, snorkel gear and a cooler to use!! High marks! We enjoyed meeting the other couples staying at the property each morning. And Eileen and John are excellent hosts!

My family and I stayed here for my brothers wedding in January of 2025. Because we booked all 3 suites, our 5 and 7 year olds were able to join us and we fit perfectly in the largest suite. We could not have asked for a more perfect stay. From the moment we arrived, Eileen and John made us feel at home. The B&B is simply beautiful - the perfect combination of an island and jungle feel (the showers were a big highlight!) the shared living space was perfect for outdoor breakfasts and late night card games, and although we did some light shopping ourselves, the kitchen was very well stocked! The honest bar system was a perk as well! The rooms were comfortable, always cool enough, and beds super comfy! It wasn’t walkable to town for our entire party, as it is a bit hilly / the trail can be tricky at night, but my husband, kiddos and I walked to and from town daily ! It was a fun walk and short enough. We also rented their Jeep - definitely a must! While everything was amazing, Eileen and John’s daily breakfasts took the cake. I cannot say enough about how delicious and beautifully prepared the meals were. We absolutely loved our stay - and loved their recommendations and the island so much that we are already in the process of booking round 2. Thank you, Garden by the Sea!!

Eileen and John... Thank you for a pleasant stay at The Garden of the Sea Bed and Breakfast. My wife and I spent a week here on August to celebrate our anniversary. St John is the very best of what the USVI has to offer and if you seek solitude, an easy pace and access to what may be said to be the best National Park in the portfolio, this is the place to stay. Rooms are clean, comfortable and absolutely beautiful. Breakfast is scratch and the amenities plentiful. We loved our stay and can’t wait to get back.

Eileen is awesome. Incredibly charming, helpful, considerate, and friendly. Her breakfast was probably our favorite meal each day. The space is fantastic. Quiet and comfortable at night, it's also among the few stays where we could be perfectly content hanging out for days on end. Walking distance to the main drag, it's also easy to accommodate travelers who choose not to rent a vehicle, though there is still parking is required. So long as Google is my witness, we will be back to stay again!

My wife and I spent 16 nights at Garden by the Sea for our honeymoon and it was nothing short of perfection! Eileen and John are the most welcoming hosts. There was never a shortage of great conversations and amazing food (and coffee prepared by John) prepared by Eileen every morning. Everything we ate for breakfast was delicious. The property itself is beautiful and the location is great. The rooms are well appointed, and the beds were very nice as well. The rooms also have AC! We opted to not rent a car so when looking for a place to stay, being able to walk to town was a must. The walk is about 10 minutes down an easy path and then only one hill (and an easy hill by St. John standards). We definitely cannot wait to return and hope to do so soon! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Our second stay! Fantastic location in Frenchtown, only about 12 minutes from the airport. Easy walk to great bars and restaurants, but hotel is in very quiet location. Definitely would choose Olga's again if I visit St Thomas. Everything is clean and nicely furnished. Nice views of the harbor. We enjoyed the pool. Laid back atmosphere. Very close by is Frenchtown Deli which is a deli, breakfast spot, convenience store and coffee shop in one. You can also walk to the waterfront area with shops and restaurants. They provide beach/pool towels, morning coffee, and a water refill station in the lobby. And they upgraded our room just because they could!

The 14 guestrooms are infused with Caribbean flair and the hotel's convenient location allows easy access to popular attractions like St. John Spice, Cinnamon Bay, Trunk Bay, and Coki Beach.
A quaint place just a few steps away from the “action” of the city, the inn offers a very clean and quiet place to rest after a long day of bar hopping. And when I say clean, I mean you could probably eat from the floor in the bathroom it was so clean. The best part was the staff. They treated us like a guest in their home. Every time they saw us, they asked if they could do anything, and they were genuine in every interaction. Highly recommend making it a part of your vacation if you have the time.

We don’t like fancy, all white, cold looking hotel rooms. The St. John Inn is, instead, a tropical paradise. We stayed there twice and will definitely return in the future. The staff and service are super. Free breakfast on the back deck every day and Happy Hour with Rum Punch in the afternoon are a real nice touch. Reggae music plays softly everywhere you go outside your room. It’s a short walk of just 3 blocks to get to a bunch of bars, restaurants, shopping, and the ferry terminal. (You DON’T need to rent a car at all. There are taxis to the beaches every few minutes) The Longboard Restaurant and Morgan’s Mangoes were our favorites for dinner. The Tap and Still was great for bar food and lunch. The Beach Bar has got it all: indoor bar, open air bar, and table service down on the boardwalk / beach - and live music every night.

I had the most authentic wonderful experience here. The owner and staff are very down to earth, friendly, and know the area well. It's walkable from the ferry, just use the directions from the email, and I saved money by walking to the gorgeous walkable beaches at Solomon and Honeymoon.

Stayed here early December 2024, just a short walk from the main visitor area in St John. We wanted a location where we could walk to the restaurants and shops and that worked out well, keeping in mind that very little is flat in the USVI. The proprietors were very friendly and always helpful. Our room was pleasant with plenty of space , good air conditioning but the steps up entering the hotel and getting to the room would not be navigable to anyone with mobility challenges. There are 2 food marts within a short walk so supplying a kitchenette with snacks and hand food was easy. Overall a good place to stay for an active couple that wants the adventure of immersion in St John on foot
David E — Google review
Service here is friendly and definitely 5 star, but the property itself needs improvements for what they are charging . The AC and ceiling fans kept us cool but our room was not very clean. The shower drain was slow and ankle deep mid-shower. The sofa needs a deep clean. The mattress needs to be replaced. The morning coffee was bitter tasting with no real cream. No protein is offered with the continental breakfast. Parking was limited. We booked last minute and went on reviews that seemed too generous now. We enjoyed the trails, beaches and snorkeling, the island is beautiful and rough around the edges like most of the Caribbean

With spacious and tidy rooms featuring crisp white linens and duvets, as well as suite options with harbor views, guests can enjoy comfort and elegance during their stay.
We loved it and our room. Great location and price. The pics were from Jump Up on Black Friday. It was a blast and on all the downtown streets including Company St. in front of the hotel.

The service here was phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. I did have to do a little work while there and the wifi worked well. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

Had a very nice stay here. Quiet place and kept very clean. Restaurants and cafes are all in walking distance as well as a beach taxi to take you to nearby beach which is literally a 2 minute ocean drive. We had great air conditioning, clean room, water available at hotel to purchase, vending machine on site, pool, great hair dryer in room, and one washer and dryer to use on site. Highly recommend this hotel! Also, Dizhan at the front desk was always so helpful and sweet:)

As a frequent business traveler, I have high standards when it comes to accommodations. Company House Hotel in St. Croix not only met but exceeded my expectations. This boutique hotel is a true gem, offering a perfect blend of luxury, comfort and security. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enchanted by the charming historic Caribbean ambiance. My beautifully appointed room featured sleep-wonderful beds, wifi, refrigerator, microwave, rainfall shower, stately mahogany furniture and plantation shutters The small pool area is an idyllic spot to unwind after a long day of work or exploring the island. What truly sets Company House Hotel apart is the staff. Any team members I crossed paths with, front desk to housekeeping, were friendly, engaging and helpful. As a businesswoman who travels often, I appreciated the peace of mind that came with knowing the property is accessible only to guests after 5 p.m. The staff was attentive and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, Company House Hotel is the perfect choice for a luxurious, peaceful getaway right in downtown Christiansted, where you can walk to shopping, restaurants and attractions. I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough and look forward to my next stay!

I stayed in room 503 on the third floor. The room was very nice with a lot of natural light. The bed was firm just the way I like it. I would stay again.
Glenda B — Google review
I’d stay here again. Some things to consider: lots of steps that are uneven. Some unmarked step offs, so pay attention to your footing. Showers have a stone feature that is a little bit hard on the bare feet. There isn’t a ceiling fan in the room. No suitcase stand in the room, so I used the ironing board. The air conditioner does not get cold - cold and the AC fan is at one speed - low. But the room temperature is comfortable once you come in from the heat for a bit. Pool is nice. Location is nice and convenient. Staff is SUPER helpful and SUPER friendly! There is one washer and one dryer on the property.
Derrick M — Google review
Room was clean and cool. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Courtyard and pool and lobby are lovely. Restored and historic. Lmk when Crucians will engage with eye contact, a smile, offer help, etc. We experience this in so many establishments on the island. It's unsettling. We're pretty nice people and are unassuming. Reception when we arrived on check in day was seriously nasty and impudent. For. No. Reason. This is a nice hotel.
Lori P — Google review
From the time we showed up staff was wonderful, friendly and courteous. I had surgery on my knee and Sarah made sure my room was changed from the 3rd floor to 1st floor. She was amazing and helpful in so many ways. Other staff whose name I don’t know also made sure we were good. This hotel gets 5 stars from me. Room was clean upgraded furniture and comfortable. Excellent view of the ocean. Can’t say enough thanks you’s to the staff for making my stay here a relaxing one. See you next time😄

Location is great and convenient to walk to downtown Cruz Bay restaurants and amenities. Our unit we stayed in (penthouse) had great views, but needs interior renovations as we have stayed here twice in 3 years and nothing has changed.

Easy walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The staff is very welcoming and easygoing. The condo we stayed in was very nice. Loved the place.

This was our 1st time staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our studio room was perfect, loved the balcony, perfect walking distance to town and nice pool. The facility overall was very clean, well maintained and parking. We'll definitely stay here again.

This is my first time visiting this island, I sure wish i would have read the reviews before booking here. First let me start off by saying... When we booked, we were under the impression from the owner of our condo that we would have a parking spot, well that was not true. We tried to be civil with the front desk manager Linda, we explained we were told that we would have a parking spot. She made some calls and said sorry, there is nothing i can do. I will allow you to place your items in the room, but you cant park here. After speaking to the building engineer in the garage, he suggested we park in back for only a few min to take our luggage to our room and come back. By the time we got to the room, we heard this VERY loud beating on the door, it was Linda yelling at us telling us to leave the room and move our car IMMIDIATLY! She was yelling at us like we were her childing. We calmly explained that were just putting everything in the room and was about to leave. That wasn't fast enough for her. She is the MOST unprofessional person i have ever met. I will never stay here again. As for the room, we booked via Airbnb and the room was nice, clean as expected with a very nice view.

Absolute BEST location in Cruz bay!! Walking distance to all the bars, shops and restaurants. Pool, hot tub and fitness center on sight. And one bedroom units and larger get a designated parking space in the garage!!! Huge Bonus here in town where parking is scarce!! Unit 8-202 is the most perfect one bedroom. It is so bright with a beautiful view. In almost all units the bedrooms are in the back (unless your in a no kitchen studio) but 8-202’s bedroom and living room are in the front giving you a beautiful view from anywhere in that unit. We have stayed here many times over 12 years and that unit has become our favorite.
Kelly E — Google review
Did a 4 day stay and enjoyed every bit. The location is very walkable - only 5 minutes away from the ferry dock and several restaurants (many beach front). The views from our room balcony were stunning. We did coffee and breakfast from St John Provisions several times and it was a quick 10-15 minute walk away. There are open air taxis near the ferry dock and they're your ticket to all the beautiful beaches. If Carolyn is working at the front desk you will be well taken care of - she has a great personality and can provide you with a fully stocked kitchen so you can hit the beaches on arrival and she's a great resource for information on restaurants and logistics. We will be back!
Corey M — Google review
We split our time in the islands St. John & St Thomas for my wife's birthday. We stayed in the penthouse suite and I have to say that we slept on clouds with an amazing view of Cruz Bay! The bed was so comfortable. When we arrived by Ferry its just a 5 min walk to the resort, also walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. Sophie & Chelsea were very attentive and provided great customer service. We really enjoyed our time and we will be looking forward to next time.

Nestled in a peaceful suburban area just a short stroll from Cruz Bay, Coconut Coast Villas offers a range of charming self-catering apartments. The accommodations feature fresh and unique decor with soothing color schemes. Families will appreciate the family-friendly neighborhood, complete with a pool for kids and a communal barbecue area for enjoyable cookouts. Guests can also rent snorkel gear to explore the tropical waters nearby.
My husband and I just left paradise. St John is our happy place and our stay at Coconut Coast Villas was near perfection! The view from our room window was extraordinary, the room was clean, bed comfortable, shower divine, parking convenient, and an easy walk to Mongoose Junction was exactly what we wanted. Our only mishap was a broken bathroom outlet upon our arrival that could not be fixed during our stay, but an extension cords helped us to make do. Thank you Julie and David for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back soon!
Renee R — Google review
The host was so helpful when I screwed up the booking and helped correct my mistake. Julie is so friendly and provides great information about the island and things to do. There were beach chairs and snorkeling equipment, and the reef safe sunscreen for us to use during our stay. The room (Ginger Suite) had a full size fridge, microwave, oven, coffee maker, toaster, everything we could need. The rooms were simple but cozy. The A/C worked great. Every room has a water front view. There is enough parking for everyone. And downtown St. John is only an 8 minute walk through a nice trail. The property is down at the bottom of the steepest hill I've ever driven, it makes San Francisco look flat, so be aware. If coming to St John, this is the place to stay.
Geoff P — Google review
Perfect for our stay on St. John USVI. We definitely took their advice and rented a car, which allowed us to see all of the island. The location is a perfect home base for being walking distance from the main part of town. Hosts were marvelous. We felt like we had total privacy and also our own personal concierge. The property truly goes above and beyond to make sure you have all the things you need in the parks and beaches, especially the stuff you forgot to bring! I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else come next visit, as the value is simply unbeatable.

We love staying at Coconut Coast Villas. Convenient and easy to walk to Cruz Bay. Rooms are nice with balcony views of the ocean. Laundry and honor bar are nice touches. Staff and service are helpful!

Overall it is a nice family place however do not recommend for young couples. Rooms are a bit outdated rooms are clean but again just more of a family atmosphere kinda feels like your staying at your moms. Location is not as great as advertised while restaurants are walkable it’s not ideal for anyone. In reply to the owners my name is spelled right there in the review maybe give more effort when replying to a bad review and get the customers name right.

Coconut Coast Villas is one of the best places I have ever stayed. We HIGHLY enjoyed our time here and would love to return. Angelica and Ben were both a pleasure to deal with. The sound of the rocks rolling with the waves was something I didn't even know that I needed in my life. It was a highlight of our trip. BOOK IT!
Kelsey E — Google review
This is our 3rd time staying at Coconut Coast. The first two times was just my wife and I, this past time in May was our parents and our son. Every single time we have stayed it continues to be a staple in our trip to St. John. The rooms are great size and very accommadating for the entire crew. It is a 5-10 minute walk through the trail to the downtown. If anyone has a tough time walking i would suggest a rental car or taxi due to the hill getting into town. Julie from the Coconut Coast has always been so responsive and helpful. There are washing machines if you need to do your laundry during your stay. The beach chairs, noodles, and beach items are available for free to bring to the beach. There is a whiteboard at the bottom of the stairs letting everyone know what events, live music, or activities are going on. There is a binder in all of the rooms full of information about the island, restarunts and other fun tid bits about what is around. The view from the rooms are spectacular over looking the water, in a quiet area. Wake up to hearing the waves in the morning. Perfect place to stay for all! Highly reccommend!

We stayed in the Orchid suite and it was perfect for our needs. The room was clean, well laid out and the view from the private balcony was superb! It was a short easy walk to Cruz Bay from the location. The bed was very comfortable! Complimentary washer/dryer on site. The staff communicated very well before, during and after our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here during your stay on St. John.

It provides an all-inclusive package option including meals, drinks (with exceptions), and fitness centers. The resort offers unusual night kayaking expeditions for an extra fee. With over 10 years of experience, it provides five-star service and amenities in its well-furnished suites with French Caribbean inspired interiors.
Stayed May 5 through May 9, 2017. Room clean, king size bed comfortable. Staff friendly, professional and courteous. Breakfast Buffett in Aqua Terra fantastic! Food delicious at all restaurants! Bartenders friendly suggesting great frozen drinks. Beach clean with chairs umbrellas snorkel gear and kick boards plentiful and complimentary. Concierge desk with plenty of activities and tours. 2 hour Scenic tour was great with friendly and knowledgeable driver. Dinner on The Cat was lots of fun with great food and attentive and professional staff. The only negative thing I found was our room did not get cleaned until around 4 pm each day. Most times we would just ask for clean towels and bottled water. The Frenchman's Reef Marriott certainly met our expectation! Would definitely return!!!

We have been owners here for more than 10yrs, still a good resort however the quality of service has declined in recent years. If you contact the management they will work to make it right, however the cleanliness of the rooms and linens should be better. The sheets/towels smelled as though they had been left wet when folded, very musty...this happened 3 times on our recent trip. We stayed for 12 days, leaving on Aug 3, 2018. Still can’t beat the views of the bay though.
DeAnna H — Google review
Location great, beach views amazing and pools were nice! Customer service was on point and always so friendly! My sister in law was married at the outdoor wedding gazebo which was beautiful but with no shade at all and all the guests got sunburned. The reception was a roof top one that also provided no shade for the guests either. Guests were drenched in sweat. So happy they were all patient! Other than that we'd definitely come back!

Currently staying here and I wouldn't come back. In fact I tried to leave early but airline fees where too much. First staff is not very friendly, this is the first time I have run across this in an island that depends on tourism. Rooms are not very clean and beds are even made incorrectly, sloppy and messy. Food is outrageously expensive and not very good, plan to spend 200-300 a day far a family of two adults and two children. The only positive is the views are amazing and I enjoyed the ocean, Internet also worked very well. I believe there are a lot more places you can get a better bang for your buck. 7/26- I increased my rating from two to three stars because the pools, ocean, and views are just great. If food and staff where better I would rate it 4.5/5.

I stayed at Frenchman's Reef for five days and was pleased with everything from my arrival to my departure. Complementary rum punch was provided in n the lobby during check in. My room was clean and comfortable. The a.c. was out when I arrived however, a message was waiting on the phone with that information and another message was left as soon as the repair was made. I received customer service with a smile but I believe you get what you give. The night kayak was fun right from the hotel and a private island tour with a taxi driver was only $50. I can't think if one negative experience during my stay and I would definitely return in the future.
Neshia P — Google review
Very nice beach but lots of seaweed. Property was well maintained and clean but is in serious need of an update/remodel. Pools were full of little kids so if you are looking for a quiet adult vacation this is not the place. There is a small adult only pool. The main 2 pools were closed for a private function where we were kicked out mid afternoon one day...not very good hospitality and a disappointing experience. We sure weren't going to let that ruin our beautiful vacation. The staff is very friendly and warm, especially Yolanda in the Rum Bar!!!
Michael K — Google review
Very nice accommodations. Comfy bed, clean room. About 10 minute drive to downtown (if there's not bad traffic). Very helpful and friendly staff. Had to go to the front desk 2 days in a row because of unauthorized $117 charges (both days) on my card. But staff was awesome. They addressed the issue and the money was returned to my account the next day.

My family has their wedding here and it's a beautiful resort but far from my expectations. First we get there and can't check in until 4. Okay that's fine but I get to the room and it's dirty. Like a guest had just checked out. Also it was a single bed when I booked double beds. They then apologized and have me another room but was unable to honor the double bed until the next day. I was okay with that until I get to the room and it smells like sewage. The hotel still couldn't change my room until the next day. So i had no choice but to stay in the smelly single bed room. They did change the room as promised however I didn't get the right room until after 4 the next day. I chose to make the best of the trip. We were out and came back hungry. There was no way to get anything to eat. Now I have been to all inclusive resorts and there was always some way to eat. No we had to wait until morning because we was told that the restaurant closed at 11. This was not an pleasant experience for my first time in St. Thomas. Signed Super Disappointed

St. John is a popular Caribbean destination known for its stunning white sand beaches and the Virgin Islands National Park, which boasts a diverse range of bird species. The park was generously donated by Laurance Rockefeller in 1956, covering a significant portion of the island and offering beautiful beaches and campgrounds along Route 20. The park spans nearly two-thirds of St. John Island, surrounding coastal waters, part of St. Thomas Island, and most of Hassel Island.
Beautiful small Island with a few spectacular beaches. Great souvenir shops. Great place to sit and watch the day go by. They have the best beaches clean and clear water perfect for swimming and snorkeling. It’s just 30 minute ferry ride from St. Thomas. My favorite beach is Trunk Bay.
Stephanie C — Google review
BVI was a stop on a recent cruise. We did a day trip to St. John, then a tour of the island. Honestly, when you've seen one Virgin Island (whether US or British), you've seen them all. The terrain is basically identical. Unfortunately, a lot of the houses and businesses are still in disrepair after the hurricanes of a few years ago. I can certainly understand this as getting anything to these islands is a difficult, expensive task, not counting how expensive basic building materials are in the first place. The nicest thing about any of these islands is the water, which is why the majority of people go there. It is stunningly beautiful. The white sand beaches contrast with the multi-hued water, ranging from a gorgeous green, to aqua to light blue to dark blue. And, the water is crystal clear. No wonder these islands are a divers (and snorkelers) paradise. Don't waste your time on island tours, there's just not a lot to see.

Beautiful island. Breathe taking views and amazing beaches. Perfect spot for snorkeling. Island is really quiet and full with nature surprises. We saw so many different animals leaving free and together. Was wild life experience for me ! Great spot if you looking for this quiet beach getaway. Transportation is easy. Taxis are cheap and they go to every beach. Food and shopping is expensive. No airport so reaching till here is time taking but is worth the expense

Absolutely beautiful island. Gorgeous beaches, great hiking. Remember to bring reef safe spf as that is the only kind allowed. Drive on the left and download a map beforehand because of the mountains. Bring bug spray as well. Keep in mind parking is very limited at all beaches and hiking destinations.

Almost island is the national park with beautiful white sand beaches, hiking trails, historical ruins of the past. Cruz Bay is the docking terminal for visitors with passenger ferry and separate car ferry. Best time to visit is in late fall, winter and spring as summer is pretty hot and hurricane time. Foot passengers can utilize taxi service but car is recommend in order to explore the park.

I really liked this island trip. Very relaxing and beautiful. Beaches are nice, ocean is mesmerizing. One thing I didn't consider is always having a bug repellent on. I'd even recommend bringing either bug spray or citronella candles for inside. And since you will get bitten at some point bring your favorite anti itch spray/cream. But a lovely stay none the less.
