What a place I never seen such a nice out of place. Neat and clean huge with lots of shops. Lots of restaurants a lot of good vibes around you can spend the whole day over there have a lot of different kinds of food, sweets tea coffee drinks you name it you can find it and you can find All kinds of different prices and you can enjoy their anything that you are thinking of having a nice environment. It's traditional market in center of Doha, but it's already become tourist attraction. Many cafes and restaurants with traditional buildings inside the market. It's nice to come here at night, not to hot and very attractive lamp decoration.

Compared to other Arab countries, the business atmosphere here is much less pushy, which is nice. Tourists can visit with peace of mind. At night, the area was packed with both locals and visitors, but it’s a great place to soak in the atmosphere and look for some souvenirs.

This place is amazing for shopping and photos, but some small vendors don’t take cards. Also, if you go during the day, it can be really hot, better to visit after sunset. So many interesting stalls and the architecture is gorgeous. Everyone was friendly, and we didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. Great place for gifts. Otherwise, a great place to explore and eat!

My husband and I have just returned from an amazing trip at this hotel. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with great hospitality and treated so well throughout the whole of our stay here. The staff couldn’t do more for us! We booked the half board package and were extremely impressed with the number of restaurants to choose from as well as the variety of delicious food on offer- with unlimited soft drinks. The rooms were huge and spotless and the bathroom was a dream. The facilities are excellent but what made our trip the most enjoyable was the staff and their attentiveness to their guests. The service and hospitality we received was 10/10 from every single staff member at the hotel. I wanted to personally thank Danish in Rivaaj for an exceptional experience, my husband and I felt so catered for and we throughly enjoyed the experience.

From the very first moment I arrived, I felt completely comfortable and at home. The entire hotel, its design, and the quality of every detail are absolutely breathtaking. Yet what truly makes this place magical are the people – without them, such an experience would not be possible. I have stayed in five-star hotels all over the world — in Dubai, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Los Angeles, Paris, Kuala Lumpur, across Europe, and in South America — but I have never experienced anything quite like The St. Regis Doha in Qatar. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was on another level: warm, genuine, and full of heart. The food was absolutely wonderful, beautifully presented, and every meal felt like a special occasion. What truly set The St. Regis Doha apart, however, was the service. It was personal, friendly, and had a genuine family-like warmth that made us feel completely at home. Several team members deserve special mention for making our stay unforgettable: • Gözde at Reception — A fellow Turkish angel 🇹🇷🧿 always welcoming with a bright smile and ready to assist in every way. Sending me flowers and treats when I was unwell • Noor in Guest Relations — professional, kind, and always attentive. • Roulla, Head of Guest Relations — absolutely marvellous! She was incredibly caring and attentive, making me feel truly special and ensuring every need was met with such grace and warmth. • Safa in the restaurant — greeted me every morning like a sister, with genuine joy and kindness. • Carol in the restaurant — ensured we were never without a drink and was always there when needed, so gracious and attentive. • Kazi in The Vine restaurant — an absolute gem, demonstrating perfect professionalism and skill. • And even the cleaning staff, especially Hamza, who greeted us each morning in the breakfast room with a cheerful smile and “good morning.” Every single member of the team is a true credit to the St. Regis name. We cannot recommend The St. Regis Doha highly enough and will most certainly be returning.

An Exceptional Stay at The St. Regis Doha I recently spent four days at The St. Regis Doha, and despite visiting in the middle of the Qatari summer – with its famously intense heat – the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment you step into the grand lobby, you’re met with impeccable service that continues throughout every part of the hotel. The staff are attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to making each guest’s stay special. The property itself is stunning – a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The pool and private beach area offer a peaceful escape, and even in the summer heat, the team goes above and beyond to ensure guests can enjoy them comfortably. And then there’s the breakfast buffet. I can confidently say it’s one of the best I’ve ever had in my life – and I’ve travelled extensively across the world. The variety is exceptional, the quality is flawless, and the presentation is beautiful. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh fruit, Middle Eastern specialties, international favourites, or perfectly cooked eggs, it’s an experience in itself. The St. Regis Doha delivers luxury at its finest – a place where service, setting, and culinary excellence come together seamlessly. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay, especially considering the St. Regis brand and Marriott Ambassador Elite status expectations. Breakfast experience: The breakfast was unacceptable. I ordered shakshuka, which was served on plain, cold, untoasted bread with canned, cold tomato sauce spread on top and a cold fried egg that looked like it was cooked the day before. My boyfriend ordered scrambled eggs, which were also ice cold. We asked for replacements, but the second serving was again cold and tasted bad. For a property of this level, this was shocking. Service and facilities: • The hotel app did not work properly during our stay. • Housekeeping was slow and often unresponsive to requests. • Despite being a Marriott Ambassador Elite member, I was not granted a late checkout, which was disappointing. Overall, this stay was far below expectations and does not reflect the quality or service that the St. Regis brand promises. A real shame for such a reputable chain.

The hotel services are excellent, right from the time you arrive to leaving Service was prompt and exemplary. Complimentary ironing of 2 pieces of clothing, and water in a cooler box at the pool. The staff were very friendly and attentive.I hope to return soon.

A truly family-oriented place with spacious and very comfortable rooms — honestly, it feels like sleeping on the clouds. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, and top-notch facilities. They also have a seaside shisha lounge and serve the most delicious afternoon tea.

We had a great long weekend staycation at Four Seasons Doha with our cat. All the staff are very friendly from the moment we stepped into the hotel until we left after wonderful stay. Only regret was it was too short… The room we stayed had a wonderful sea view with a small balcony that you could stand but can’t sit on a chair… They provided a small pet bed, two bowls (for food & water) and a cat tree for our cat which we appreciated their care but we brought our own stuff to make our cat feel more at home. We also brought our own cat litter box and sand with rubbish bags to clean frequently too. We totally enjoyed the full use of facilities including pool, beach and spa during our stay. Again we were so impressed how polite and friendly the staff were everywhere we went! They all made us feel very welcome and our stay very special. Thank you again very much for all the hotel staff at Four Seasons Doha!

I stayed at this hotel a few months ago for several months and unfortunately had multiple negative experiences. One significant issue was that the hotel damaged my car without offering any compensation. They initially told me they would fix my car and provided a hotel car and chauffeur while repairs were underway. However, after returning my car, they unexpectedly charged me for the chauffeur service. I encountered numerous problems with the hotel staff and management, after my first month. Given the decline in service quality during my stay, I do not recommend this hotel for long-term accommodations. Ultimately, I had to move to another hotel because my experience became unbearable.

I had a lovely experience at the Tea Garden in the Torch. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing, with beautiful décor that made the visit feel special. I had a fantastic stay at The Torch Hotel! The experience was exceptional from start to finish. Asma at the reception was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in a breeze. Our family had a 2 night stay & we really enjoyed ourselves. The views from our Our Junior Suite located on the 14th floor were breathtaking. The gym 🏋🏿‍♂️ & pool amenities were clean and pristine!👌🏿 The close proximity & accessibility to Villagio Mall was really nice and convenient. I would highly recommend a stay or visit to the Torch Hotel!

It's such a lovely place to walk around, get some fresh air, get a coffee or ice cream. The sight is absolutely gorgeous too.

Very Nice place to chill in the evening. The Dhow cruise experience is very nice. All dhow operators are very polite and price is reasonable. A must do activity when you are in Doha. There are certain points for e-Bike rentals.

Qatar Corniche is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sea view. We can see many people coming here for jogging and cycling, choosing this route for its clean and scenic atmosphere. Especially the morning view — it’s absolutely speechless! Perfect spot for families and evening walks too

My scenic tour along the Corniche was a picturesque one, (though on my visit the hazy weather did my photos no justice,) I was happy to be at this beautiful Promenade with lovely harbour views. From the Dhow boats in the harbourfront, to the beautiful downtown Doha skyline, a nice leisurely walk along the foot path could lead you into Al Dafna Park and seems a tranquil place in the evening. Another area of interest...hopefully for a future visit

Great tourist spot but also great for late night walks. It’s a classic spot in dogs and for good reason. The view is spot on and tons of people are there exercising. There are some good food spots nearby and it’s a very accessible spot. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Belgian Café Doha! The service was excellent — our waitress ‘Rinchen’ was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. She was professional yet warm, which made the atmosphere even better. Also, a big thank you to ‘Salma’, the hostess, for her kind welcome and for helping us get settled quickly. Both of them made our dining experience truly enjoyable. The food and drinks were great as always, but the outstanding service from Rinchen and Salma really made the night special. Highly recommend!

Where should I start, Warm friendly reception staff, every single person i met including the senior management of the hotel are amazing. I had the pleasure to meet Mr Barkhoff the newly appointed General Manager and Sayida the Front Office Manager, they run the hotel very professionally focusing on customer service. They made my wife's birthday a very special occasion with personal touches. I highly recommend the buffet breakfast, which offers world food, spoils you for choice. This is one of the best beach spa I have ever visited, without an iota of doubt. I would like to take a moment to share the wonderful experience during my recent visit to your facility, Lamaar beach and Lamar restaurant, particularly the service was exemplary. The staff here was fantastic. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness was quite remarkable and made us feel at home. It would be a crime not to mention Mr. Gracious Joseph, he took good care of us. Our stay at the InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hospitality and attention to detail made our trip truly memorable. A special mention goes to Usman, who looked after us every morning at breakfast — always with a smile! Whether it was an iced Spanish latte or a freshly made omelette, he knew exactly what we liked and ensured everything was perfect each day. I recently returned from a one week stay at Mondrian Doha and it was a really enjoyable stay. The facilities were great and I was at the spa every day. My friend had an Asian Fusion massage and she couldn’t rave enough about it. The house keeping staff saw to our every need. Love,y experience. What an experience the Mondrian Doha offered. From the moment I stepped in, the quality and meticulous attention to detail radiated throughout the hotel. World class customer service was somehow anticipated, but in essence it was guaranteed. From the food to the rooms to the staff and location. It's easy to understand why the Mondarin has become an establishment of choice in Doha. My 5 - day stay comes to an end tomorrow, but the memories will always linger. Till we meet again, keep doing what you do best, as a leader in the tourism andhospitality sector.

Thank you for the fantastic stay, I did enjoy. The rooms were amazing, the food and moreso staff. Special shout out to the Front Office staff, the security at the entrance, the valet gentlemen and specifically Vincent, Matthew, Marwyn, Meera, Daniel...just to mention a few. They were friendly, welcoming and gave good recommendations on where to visit. I had an issue with my TV and after reporting I was upgraded to a suite which had a better experience. I wish I reported earlier on since for the six days I missed watching and especially UEFA and thus only got to enjoy the suite on my last day 😄. The place is awesome, I'll be back and definitely recommend.

We booked this stay via the Luxury Escapes website as a 2-night stopover between Europe and Australia and it was a fantastic experience. The service we received was World-class - our check-in was seamless (with a complimentary upgrade), we ordered in-room dining twice and the portion sizes were generous and the breakfast buffet had a huge selection. All food was delicious. We were travelling with our 18-month-old who loved swimming in the pool. We will book again on our next stopover.

We can fully recommend staying in the Mondrian Hotel. The rooms are furnished comfortably with an artsy touch. The staff is very courteous and they do their best to make you feel at home. I planned to propose to my girlfriend during our stay and Nadi, Anwar and the team made a great effort to secretly organize everything. Although the hotel is not located in the city center, all popular places and sight-seeing spots can be easily reached with the metro.

From the moment we entered the reception I knew we had made a good choice. The hotel is immaculate throughout this is due to the high standard of workmanship from all of the staff team. Rooms are very comfortable with high quality bed linen that seems to get changed daily whether or not required. Plenty of water in the room daily with a few bits in the mini bar. Restaurant food and service very good, plenty of choice to meet all needs and even has a children’s food station. Afternoon tea and the most delicious cakes are available in the lounge opposite the buffet restaurant it well worth a visit. Pool service equally as good with wonderful friendly staff from around the world, nothing was too much bother and there was plenty of free water available from the towel station. The only negatives we had were that due to changes recently you couldn’t have an alcoholic beverage while sitting at the swim up pool bar, soft drinks only which was a shame as it would have been nice when escaping the sun for a few minutes also we were there from the 5-12 September and there was no evening entertainment and the only bar they have is soulless with no music so really was boring although bar staff always cheerful. Taxis very cheap and plenty of entertainment elsewhere but such a financial missed opportunity for the Ritz Carlton. Word of warning if you have never been to Doha before, passport id is required in many pubs and restaurants due to the alcohol laws so remember to take it with you when venturing out also there is usually dress code for men, no sandals or open toe shoes in the evening and some places do prefer long trousers not ideal in 40 degree heat. If you book using Destination 2 or Love holidays beware that on their ad they advertised half board and go on to name all the restaurants in the hotel however in reality the half board is for the buffet restaurant only and you will be charged to visit the others. We would certainly use this hotel again it’s been a wonderful break

This was a lovely hotel, which had amazing room complexes in their own villa areas. The rooms were clean and spacious, with lovely balconies. We did have an issue in that there didn’t seem to be any cold water in the sinks, so we ended up cleaning our teeth with bottled water. We got a lovely welcome gift sent to the room, and there was a lot of bottles of water provided. The pools were great, but the best bit was the fact that it had a beach! There was a bit of litter throughout the sea / beach, but the water was warm and it was great to swim in. My kids and I never wanted to get out! I would recommend staying here with a family, as there were lots of kids around. It’s more for families than business. The staff were friendly - especially the concierge team!! They couldn’t do enough to help us.

Bliss , absolute bliss. This spotlessly clean resort would appeal to anyone. Gleaming marble floors, flowing Arabic style throughout. Two large pools and a private beach you can swim in! The staff are so professional, insist on helping in any way. Friendly greetings everywhere you walk. Even out door areas are spotless. Life guards on pool duty all day. The breakfast choices are amazing! Something for everyone. We didn’t have a treatment but used the spa to change and oh my did I wish I could stay longer . A very short trip to the airport and the famous Souq Waqif where you can dine at any price range and meander through the markets at your leisure. We wanted to stay much longer!

As soon as you enter Your eyes would love the beauty around you. The rose petal fountain, the fragrance smell. The complementary Coffee and dates to your left. The check-in process was smooth. Personally I don’t like crowded places therefore the private beach was great. Complementary towels, suncream, water bottles and aloe vera are available at poolside. At breakfast There is a live extension where you can tell the chef you would like your eggs. The cleaning staff always delivered. My room was constantly cleaned to a high standard. I wake up early therefore when I would go for my walks at 6 am, I would see gardening staff hard at work making sure everything was immaculate for the next day. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff here were very friendly and welcoming, especially the concierge. They were always happy to help. The swimming pools were a nice temperature and were big. The beach had lovely beds, although you did have to pay for certain ones. The sea was warm but there were pieces of rubbish. You were not allowed in the sea after 5pm as that was when the lifeguard left. The view of the city was lovely. There were also lots of things for children, like a scavenger hunt that resulted in a prize. Overall, I loved this hotel and would definitely come back.

Had an amazing experience here - would highly recommend as the the service was incredible. It's conveniently close to the airport - which was perfect with my early morning flight back home. There's lots of fun activities to do since they have a beach - I had a lot of fun going jet-skiing. The hotel is also close to many tourist attractions like the Souq Waqif and the museums. The breakfast buffet was really nice and had very yummy food.

A good hotel, with nice rooms and pool area. Probably closer to 4.5/5 than 4/5, but the beach area had a little bit of litter around it; the cold water in our room was always warm (so we cleaned our teeth using water from bottles); the hot tub was full of young children but the sign said no under 18, which wasn’t enforced; breakfast was very good, but extremely busy (we were asked to have breakfast in the main lobby area) and there is no club / executive/ M lounge - never experienced this before in the Ritz. (without trying to be too negative, we were contacted in the evening for our feedback, which I gave and was thank for, but the next day the beach still had a bit of rubbish on it, the hot tub was still full of children… so not sure how much my feedback actually meant). However, notwithstanding the aforementioned, the room was good, the pool was good and the staff were friendly - I would probably stay here again with the family, but would chosen the JW Marriott for future business stays.

The beach isn't bad. The service is excellent. Mohammed, the guy at the bar was taking care of our needs all the time. Rabha, who was in charge of the towels, made sure we were comfortable. Also Naaba at the infinity pool was very nice. The food is expensive, the menu is limited, and the quality is very average, nothing special. It's not a beach to go to relax. There's a beach club on the beach itself, Monkey Tale, which plays loud music all day long. The music isn't chill out, as you'd expect on a beach where you want to relax, it's perreo, reggaeton, typical disco music that drives you crazy. You're hundreds of meters away on the other side of the beach and you can't even hold a conversation because of how loud the music is at Monkey Tale. Overall, the experience was not good. The only good thing was the service from Rabha, Naaba and Mohammed.

The Santa Monica Breakfast Club food was outstanding but the service we had from Sagor was first class. His attention to fine detail and his high level of service was unsurpassed. We had the pleasure of staying in this hotel. The room had a terrace overlooking the beach, and all the facilities were amazing. All the services were great, and the room furniture was luxurious and modern.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Doha for 2 nights and 3 days, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of amazing. At the reception, Basit welcomed us warmly and took care of everything with such professionalism. The way he explained the hotel’s amenities and offers was very clear and helpful, and he even managed to get us the best room. The room itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the hygiene was top-notch. During our stay, we tried the Santa Monica restaurant inside the hotel, and it was excellent. The breakfast and food overall were delicious, but what really stood out was the service. Our server, Sagar and his team was outstanding attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We also had the chance to explore the Club Lounge, which was another highlight. Both Gabriel and Prakrati went above and beyond to make our experience special. Their service was outstanding, and they made us feel truly valued as guests. Overall, we were amazed by the hospitality at every level. The staff and the management truly deserve kudos for creating such a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. This stay was memorable, and I would highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Doha to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and exceptional service.

Very nice hotel with access to the beach with sunbeds, towels and toilets. The room was big and had everything. Breakfast very good and all the staff very friendly and helpful. I had an excellent stay.

Loved this hotel, excellent rooms, well maintained and clean rooms, quite spacious as well. Beds and linens are too comfortable and relaxing after night sleep.

So I had a one night free time and wanted to enjoy a luxury and fancy night so a friend recommended this hotel. Wow believe me it’s not what is looks! The suite I booked smelled like an ashtray and I had to see all four suites to find a clean suite which I didn’t. So I went to the night manager Omar Ahmed to help me cancel the reservation as I came at 6 pm and decided to leave 6.30 pm because of the unhealthy rooms they have. I understand there are certain policies Hotels have but in great hotels management tend to find solutions. For example take half the payment if not make a refund with reasonable fees. Omar basically didn’t care much to find a solution and didn’t even bother to try. In the end I understood what it means to always book with the best customer service hotels such as Four seasons. No comparison between them one with impeccable high quality and the other ashtray like hotels. That’s my experience and it’s the last one with this chain of hotels. Note: I didn’t stayed that night and left the hotel. All it took is 30 minutes to know how that’s not luxurious hotel.

We were in transit from a long flight and decided to stop to explore Doha. The location is excellent for a full day of sightseeing. If you'd like to relax after a long journey, you can spend a few hours on the beach just a short distance away. The room was comfortable and spacious, it lacked nothing. The entire breakfast staff was truly kind, helpful, and above all, smiling. Well done guys. Thanks to Nur for the lovely gesture of welcome on our first visit to the W Doha.

During my stay at the hotel, I often came to the “Market” restaurant for both lunch and dinner, and every time I was impressed by the service and atmosphere. I would especially like to mention Mia, who works there — she is extremely professional, kind, and always smiling. Her warm attitude and dedication to every guest make the dining experience truly exceptional. Because of Mia, I came back to the restaurant every evening. She is a wonderful example of genuine hospitality and outstanding service. My sincere thanks to the entire team, and especially to Mia for making my stay so enjoyable!

Booked the stay through Marriott Bonvoy app, I am a gold elite member, normally this is acknowledged immediately at check in, not the case here. Gave credit card to block payment, told they have already charged the card I booked with for the first night. Never happened to me before at Marriott group hotel anywhere in the world, in fact, not any hotel. When I asked why, system did it. Now I have 2 payments incurring fx charges on 2 separate cards. No upgrade for Gold Elite status, we are full (hotel is not full). We either can give you smoking room or non smoking room will be on 4th floor (noise from bar below it until 2am. Opted for smoking room, thinking lesser of 2 evils. I don’t smoke and have stayed in smoking rooms before, but the smell in this room was beyond extreme. First day, leave the room at 8.30am, out at meetings all day, return at 4pm, room not even cleaned, cleaner turns up at 4.30pm, the small downtime I have between meetings. My colleague had the same on the second day. Hotel itself is dated now, used to be great 5 years ago but now in need of serious attention. So many hotels to choose from in Doha now, please stay somewhere else, I highly recommend JW Marriott City centre, never had a problem there

We had an incredible stay at the W. I travel a lot and usually stay at the W. I can honestly say that my time in W Doha was one for the books. Our room was magnificent, staff were kind and helpful. Buffet breakfast was delicious and was treated extra special by Pamela. Look for her when you are there for breakfast. She will surely start your day with positivity. Our first meal at La Spiga was exceptional – thanks to The head Chef and Usaf, Amin, and especially Cameron, whose personality and commitment to detail enhanced our entire stay. Special thanks to Imane, who gave us an insightful tour and made us feel like we belonged. Breakfast at Market by Jean-Georges was consistently amazing – thank you to Joyce, Dana, Pamela, Sony, Nicky, and many others for the warm service every morning. Daniella brought Coya to life with such passion it left us wanting to visit Peru! And the team at Spice Market—particularly Jivant and Desmond—delivered a beautiful vegetarian dining experience. Nights at Wahm were full of good music and energy—shoutout to Salma, Firdos, and Sushaan for the fun vibes. To Paul and Yuliia, your team is outstanding. We visited other luxury hotels in Doha, but none came close to the love and hospitality we received at W Doha. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories. Final thoughts: W Doha isn’t just a hotel. It’s a family, a vibe, and an experience. The staff represent the brand, the management, and Qatar with true passion. The receptionists mainly the females are rude and have no clue how to do their job. The concierge guy as well was very useless (Indian / Bengali guy) When we checked in we were informed the minibar will be removed from our room but it was in our room our entire stay. Breakfast is nice and the cleaners are super nice we did have to let the cleaners know the room was not being cleaned throughly after which they did. Overall the female receptionists need to be trained better.

Do not visit at the daytime during summer, it’s scorching hot and you won’t be able to enjoy yourself at the place. There are gorgeous minarets and Islamic architecture but the place felt a little disjointed to me, as if some of the structures or tourist spots were thrown together rather haphazardly.

What a beautiful setting. One part has outdoor air-conditioning. This plave would benefit from additional coffee shops, what exists already was extremely crouded. I wish they would extend the AC to the whole area... Lovely beach at the end.

It is a unique blend of the infamous Arab luxury and European essence merged into a delightful experience. It caters to a wide variety of tastes and personalities. It is definitely worth visiting. I loved roaming through the village in the night. The atmosphere is indescribable, yet tranquil.

Very beautiful open space with an amphitheatre. Has a port/ beach. Plan late evening here for beautiful little up scenery. And also to avoid the harsh sun. Lots of cafes near the amphitheatre side but can be a bit pricey

Oh my goodness. There are barely enough words to describe the beauty of this place. It was breathtaking, the architecture, the history, the monuments. Qataris have a way of making every building and site look unique and beautiful. The Katara Cultural Village was an incredible experience, and I learned so much from my tour guide about their culture and heritage. I wouldn’t mind visiting again.

Very live area with so many different touristic views and zones. A must visit is Katara Water Foundation, Katara waterfalls, Katara Gold Mosque and one of the most luxurious malls nearby (Gallerie La Fayette)

Katara Cultural Village is one of the most beautiful and inspiring places to visit in Doha. The grounds are stunning, with gorgeous architecture, peaceful walkways, and plenty to see and explore. The art galleries showcase incredible work, and the exhibits change often, so there’s always something new and interesting to discover. There are also many charming restaurants and cafés, each with its own atmosphere and style — perfect for relaxing after a stroll. Every corner of Katara offers a great photo opportunity, from the mosaics and archways to the sea views and amphitheater. It’s a perfect place to spend a few hours — whether you’re an art lover, a foodie, or just want to take in the beauty of Doha’s cultural heart.

The hotel rooms were one of my favorite I've stayed in - the high ceilings made all the difference. The bathroom was not only spacious - but true luxury. The marble tile was gorgeous, and you could tell the difference of luxury in the tiny details like the materials used in the bathroom, the stunning crown molding in the ceiling, the thick linens on the bed, etc. The turndown service was exceptional. The staff throughout the entire hotel was so incredibly polite - from the wait staff at the restaurant, at the rooftop pool, to the cleaning staff, the spa, etc. The extra amenities I used were the pool and the spa. The pool staff was so welcoming, warm, and attentive throughout. The spa was also incredible. I booked a facial and it was a true spa experience - they also give you a mini massage and create such a relaxing atmosphere - I actually feel asleep during my facial for a hot second which I NEVER do. The hotel is also located in a fantastic location - close to the outdoor market where you can get everything you need. There's also an Al Jazeera shop right next door so I was able to get perfume and cologne gifts for my husband and friends. Highly recommend staying here, and booking direct. My mother booked via a third-party and I booked direct. Because I booked direct, and my mother did not - I was able to get free breakfast every morning as a part of a special they were doing. The breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay - so also highly recommend booking through the hotel for extra perks.

Ibtissam in Guest Relations was so helpful in ensuring we switched to a preferred room facing the street rather than the interior which is a bit darker. We ended up with a large, beautiful room. Location is fantastic and breakfast was outstanding. We also enjoyed the restaurant downstairs with outside seating. Bathtub was divine. Cleanliness was impeccable. Five star experience! Thank you.

We would, however, like to offer one small piece of constructive feedback regarding our experience on Sunday 19th evening. One of the waitresses accidentally spilled wine on our table but unfortunately did not offer an apology. She also appeared somewhat uncertain when pouring our drinks — the standard 150ml pour was noticeably short. We mentioned this to a manager, who handled the situation promptly and with great professionalism. This minor incident in no way diminished our overall experience, which was truly exceptional. We share this only in the spirit of feedback, as a little additional training would help ensure that every staff member reflects the consistently high standards that define the Mandarin Oriental brand. We have been to some 5-star Hotels but this one was so unique and special! The best thing for me was the breakfast! It was the best breakfast that we had for years! It was all worth it, the location was perfect! I think the only thing that we didn’t like was the bathroom‘s AC was too cold! But the bathroom itself was perfect and elegant. Thank you very much, MO Doha! We are hoping to see you again! Special thanks to Eric for assisting us every morning for our breakfast.

The quality of the food was superb—specifically, the beef sausages were the best I have ever tasted in a hotel. The Bar: The bar was fantastic, offering a lovely atmosphere and exceptional service. The Bar Manager was charming and a true asset to the hotel. Areas for Improvement (Needs Attention): Concierge Service & Proactivity (Key Concern): We felt the Concierge team did not demonstrate the "extra mile" service expected for a luxury establishment. When attempting to make reservations for our group, we were repeatedly advised that we could simply "walk in." For a group booking, this approach is insufficient and added unnecessary friction to our plans. Furthermore, the provided list of local recommendations was notably weak and lacked variety or detailed insight. Housekeeping/Operational Inconsistency: On the day of check-out, I had to request that my room be cleaned three separate times, as it had not been automatically serviced or attended to after the initial request. This repeated follow-up on a basic amenity was disappointing and detracted from the final impression of the stay. Poolside Service: We found the service by the pool to be very slow and not as attentive as the service experienced in other areas of the hotel, like the restaurant or bar. Conclusion: While the culinary team and individuals like Adam and the Bar Manager provided five-star service, the consistency of the Concierge team and the operational lapse in housekeeping processes need immediate attention. I look forward to experiencing these improvements on a future visit.

Five-star hotel, excellent service. Very friendly reception, quick check-in, and clear instructions. Spacious rooms. The location is vibrant in the heart of Msheireb, an upscale area with cafes, fine dining, and elegant shops. Close to Souq Waqif (10-15 minute walk). A small note: the swimming pool is small and was on the same floor as the MOSAIC restaurant

My stay at the Mandarin Oriental was truly unforgettable. The service was outstanding the staff were so friendly and attentive. Every night housekeeping surprised me with a beautiful gift, from a lip balm one night to a mini perfume the next, or a collection of dates from Qinwan which made the experience feel so thoughtful and special. The room are elegant and super comfortable, and the location in Msheireb Downtown is perfect. Easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had!

The Hamad International Airport is ranked very high among all International Airports and not surprisingly. It's beautiful and has many options for fine dining and duty free shopping. Also, flying Qatar Airways is sheer pleasure. It's currently ranked the world's best airline. Their aircrafts are new and their service onboard is exceptional. Kudos all around! 😊

This airport’s departure terminal is grand and impressive, with plenty of shops for shopping and a wide variety of restaurants and lounges to choose from. The building has high ceilings and a pleasant atmosphere. The highlight of the airport is the “Lamp Bear,” a giant yellow teddy bear sculpture located in the central hall. It’s a popular photo spot that visitors simply can’t miss.

Really impressed by Doha Airport, the place is massive and packed with shops, cafes and all sorts of fancy stuff. It’s huge though, loads of walking and wandering about trying to kill time during my 4-hour stopover. Got boring pretty quick and I just wanted to get out. Chatted with a few of the Kenyan security staff to show off my pigeon Swahili.

We had an incredibly enjoyable stay at Banana Island Resort. Everything was simply perfect — from the beautiful surroundings to the well-maintained facilities. We have made a daytrip to Banana Island. Since it was our first time, we didn't realize that you can only travel by boat after the designated lunch time. Once we arrived on the island, the atmosphere was wonderful and relaxed. Lunch at Q-lounge was delicious and perfectly prepared. Afterward, Omari guided us to the adjacent beach. He provided us with sunbeds and towels, and gave us some information. Sharing our experiences with each other was a pleasant conversation! We enjoyed ourselves until after sunset...it was a wonderful day!

Amazing first-time experience with Ali! It was my first time trying wake boarding, and Ali made it so much fun and easy to learn. He was super patient, clear with his instructions, and made sure I felt safe and confident in the water. His positive energy and encouragement really helped me enjoy every moment. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor—highly recommend Ali to anyone, especially beginners!

Excellent hotel, I was at Antara on Banana Island for the first time. We came especially to celebrate my birthday, and it was the best choice. The room is perfect, clean, the atmosphere is wonderful. I want to say a huge thank you to the team that works at Adventure Park. The guys are real professionals and know their stuff, and they also congratulated me on my birthday very well. The entire hotel staff is very friendly. The Jabayer from Al Nahham restaurant is really professional and ı want to say thank you!!!!! Shawkat was really helpful and friendly!!!!! I had a great day at Banana Island! The place itself is beautiful and relaxing, perfect for a day out. I did have a small issue during my visit, but the manager, Khalil, was extremely helpful and made sure everything was sorted quickly — his professionalism and kindness really stood out. I recently stayed at the Kempinski Marsa Malaz in Doha for five nights and had an exceptional experience throughout. The property is stunning, with elegant interiors, immaculate facilities, and a truly luxurious atmosphere. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered excellent comfort and views. The service was outstanding — every member of staff was professional, courteous, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make my 35th birthday feel special, which I greatly appreciated. The team was also very considerate of our family’s needs, even arranging a carton of milk for our toddler without hesitation. The breakfast selection was the only downfall as it lacked variety and became repetitive. The beach and pool facilities were excellent for both adults and children. Overall, I would highly recommend Kempinski Marsa Malaz to anyone visiting Doha and look forward to returning in the future.

An unforgettable stay – wonderful staff and perfect for families We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful hotel in Doha. The entire property is stunning — from the spacious and elegant rooms to the wonderful pool area and the beautifully maintained private beach. Everything is spotless and very well taken care of. The restaurants offer excellent food, and the kids’ club is fantastic — our children had such a great time there! This hotel is truly ideal for families. What really makes this place special, though, is the people who work here. Every single staff member we met was warm, friendly, and always ready to help — from the reception team to the lovely ladies in the kids’ club and especially the attentive and child-friendly staff at the pool. I would also like to mention the security team in particular — and especially Basweti, who stands at the hotel entrance and greets every guest with the brightest smile all day long. His friendliness, kindness, and professionalism create such a positive and welcoming first impression. He truly embodies the spirit of this hotel. We can’t wait to come back — thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

We’ve have had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel with a 2 year old and 6 year old. The hotel staff are friendly and attentive, special mention to Kaushal, Raja, Joseph and Ines who all made our stay comfortable. The hotel room was big enough to accommodate a family of four. The mini fridge was not working and it was replaced straight away. The breakfast buffet has a large selection of food and the waiters were extremely helpful. The pool and beach is well looked after with great facilities. We would definately come back for another stay

We spent 10 days in Marsa Malaz Kempinski and it was our best experience. The whole hotel looked so so beautiful, everything was clean and it smelled always fresh. Our room was big, well cleaned and the view from our balcony breathtaking. The Service was a 10/10, EVERYONE was well dressed and very friendly especially to our little son. We felt so comfortable and always treated with so much respect and care. The food especially the breakfast was fresh and delicious and we never had to wait a long time when we ordered something to eat. My 16 months old son had a wonderful time cause he had many baby friendly options to play and to spend his time at the hotel. When we were outside at the beach, everyone took good care of us and asked us if we need something. Especially Mr Mulaji (not sure if its written right) was a really kind and caring guy. Big applause to every single person at the kempinski hotel. Thankyou for this wonderful time, we are grateful and cant wait to visit again.

My friends and I celebrated our 40th here! The service and hospitality at this hotel is 10 on 10! A huge shout out to our ladies in red Safaa and Maysa, you made our stay truly memorable. Wow! This has been the most incredible place I have been to. The people are so welcoming and friendly ! The service was unmatched ! From Mike at reception to Chef Talal at breakfast and all the wonderful porters and greeters, I never once felt like I was out of place ! The restaurants were top quality and so inviting ! A few days ago, we returned from an excellent family vacation in Doha. We were parents with two children (ages 3 and 6). As always, the Ritz-Carlton did not disappoint. The service provided by the staff at all levels was outstanding, and the food was excellent. We had a half-board package, so besides breakfast, we enjoyed a different themed dinner every evening. We spent our days on the pleasant and private beach, which was very calm. We would like to mention the perfect care and friendliness of everyone working there: Mr. Rakibul, Mobeen, Emdad, Shahab, Jahir, Nacer, Abdulaziz, and Brandon (names listed in random order). We felt very comfortable there and truly appreciated their professionalism, friendly attitude, and casual conversations. The same applies to the restaurant staff, where we were most often and attentively looked after by Mr. Stefan, Eric, Wail, and Saad. Thank you for the soups for our children and for your overall helpfulness. In addition to the private beach, the hotel offers outdoor pools with a waterfall, but the biggest surprise was the indoor 25-meter swimming pool and the hot jacuzzi. We also want to thank the hotel for the room upgrade — we really enjoyed the extra space and the unique view of The Pearl. The hotel truly deserves its place among the top properties in Doha. The ride to the airport in the early morning, with minimal traffic, took only 25 minutes, and it’s just 15 minutes to the old town and 7 minutes to the Venice district. This convenience was another reason we loved the hotel — we could easily go into the city even on short notice. We are already planning our next vacation at this hotel for next year.

It was just a short overnight stay at this hotel as we used Doha as a transit stop for our Qatar Airways flight home. Check-in was seamless and our room was very comfortable. We were welcomed by an array of edible goodies (fruit, dates candy etc) which was very much appreciated. The hotel can feel vast - everywhere you look you'll find marble. The public spaces are kept impeccably clean and tidy.

Fantastic stay at the Al Najada. The hotel is elegant and very well situated near the Souq and major museums. We found the rooms very comfortable. We slept so well here: The bed, pillows, and duvet were a dream, not to mention the whisper quiet AC and excellent sound proofing. Best of all are the staff who are universally friendly and helpful. Shukrans to Islem & Jassir at reception, Ali & Khalid in concierge, Benjamin in housekeeping, and finally the restaurant which has an amazing breakfast buffet (and good dinner too!): Thanks to May & Suhail in service, and Evelyn for her ready smile and delicious omelettes. We'll be back, and look forward to staying at other Tivoli properties as well.

Yesterday I leaved, after one month in Al Najada Hotel. The experience in Al Najada had been amazing. The hotel location is excellent, near souq Waqif, National Museum and MIA. The building is very nice, with Arab decorations, a lot of space in the room and the breakfast with so many different fabulous dishes. But the most important than I appreciate is the kindle treatment of all the staff. I was very happy to meet Sufian, Islem, Jessir, Ali, May, Janet, Kelvin, Swabir, Aravinda and all the staff around. They are absolutely fantastic, very helpful and always smiling! Thanks I will definitely come back.

We recently stayed here on a Discover Qatar package with Qatar Airlines. From our early 5am check in (with a room upgrade) to our departure 2 days later the service was exemplary. It was a pleasure to be welcomed by Pius each morning in the Restaurant and Islem at Reception met all our needs from where to purchase a phone charger cable to the location and use of the nearby Metro. The hotel's location is very good adjacent to Souq Waqif and the Metro station and being a short walk to the waterfront. The National Museum and Art Gallery are also a short Metro journey. We would highly recommend this hotel for a stop over in Doha.

Excellent location, in the middle of old souq, many different places, resturants, coffee shops etc..withing walking distance. Clean big rooms, friendly staff, I recommend you book through booking.com to get a better price than walking in. They have a GYM that is open 24 hrs, a swimming pool, many restaurants and a coffee shop. They have a very good breakfast buffet. Enjoy your stay and remember that nothing is perfect, its my first time to visit Qatar 🇶🇦 and its Impressive, I'm in love with the country already 💖

A fantastic hotel with attentive staff. Rooms are large and all the conveniences. Directly across the road from the Souk and Metro. The only negative was you need to ask for an extra second towel but not really an issue for me or if you are environmentally conscious. A big compliment to Esther front desk and Swabir pool attendant.

We stayed at the Souq hotel to get closer to the local culture, and the experience was excellent! The hotel is very pleasant. Al Najd, where we stayed, has beautiful, traditional architecture. The staff were all very attentive. Ansar was very attentive and helpful, always waiting to give us a ride around the Souq. Ebtsaam welcomed us warmly. Everyone is very hospitable, and the city is breathtaking! We hope to return soon!

My stay at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli, specifically at AL Nājd, was truly an outstanding experience. The hotel combines elegance, comfort, and Qatari charm perfectly. My room was beautifully arranged, always spotless, and cleaned with great attention to detail. Whenever I needed anything, the staff were quick to respond and always very professional. A special mention goes to Ansar, who made my stay even more memorable. He guided me with care, helped me find my way around, and was always available whenever I needed assistance. His hospitality and respectful attitude made me feel very comfortable and safe as a woman traveling alone — something I deeply appreciated. The Souq Waqif itself is a wonderful place to explore. It’s full of life, local culture, and beautiful shops selling perfumes, spices, gold, and traditional Qatari clothing. There’s even a drumming area nearby where you can experience traditional music — a truly special atmosphere. I also loved relaxing in the small cafés tucked inside the Souq. The metro station (Souq Waqif Station) is just a short walk away, making it very easy to reach other parts of Doha. The metro system is modern, clean, and safe — a great way to travel around the city. Overall, my stay at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels was exceptional. Title: Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs! I recently stayed at Zubara Hotels in Qatar, and it was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Let me break it down: Service: The staff was shockingly arrogant and unhelpful. Any request, no matter how small, was met with attitude and an air of superiority. I felt like I was a burden for even being there. Hospitality was clearly not a priority for them. Cleanliness: The room was far from clean. Dust on the furniture, stains on the bedding, and an unkempt bathroom left me questioning the hotel’s hygiene standards. For a place that claims to be premium, this was absolutely unacceptable. Water: Believe it or not, you are rationed water. You get two bottles, and that’s it. Want more? You have to pay for it! In a hot country like Qatar, this is just ridiculous. They couldn’t even provide the basic courtesy of unlimited drinking water. Overall: The entire experience felt like a scam. From the moment I checked in to the moment I left, I couldn’t wait to get out of there. If you’re looking for a relaxing, welcoming stay, look elsewhere. Zubara Hotels is overpriced, overrated, and an insult to Qatar’s reputation for hospitality. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. This place doesn’t deserve your time, money, or patience.

Water is rationed - we were only given 2 small bottles even though we had a baby who needed bottles making. When I asked about nice local spots for breakfast, I was bluntly told "we serve breakfast here" with a ridiculous price quoted. The room and bathroom were not clean and need a face lift. The hotel is now 3 star according to their sign where they have painted over some stars and the rooftop is now closed. Poor location and poor service.

Very good experience and nice neat place, rooms and location I stayed there for 4 days and staff is really polite the guards, reception service all of them are the reason for the 5 star Look forward to stay back and do recommend this place for the affordable and nice stays in doha. This is a 3 star property, google shows it 5 but having 3 star don't makes its recommendations low, i recommend it the best to stay when you choose price, location service all.

Avoid this place. I recently stayed at this hotel, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The pictures they advertised were completely misleading and bore no resemblance to the actual hotel. The room was disgusting — there were stains all over the bed sheets and carpet, which was honestly gross. There was also so much dust build up around the entire room. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. On top of that, the place smelled bad, and the towels they gave us were dirty and torn. I’ve stayed in a wide range of hotels, but this one takes the cake for being the worst. Customer service was a joke as well; they were unhelpful and unfriendly.

The male indian receptionist is not friendly. They are very stingy in giving water because they say it is limited to 3 small bottles per day unlike in other hotels that giving 1L mineral bottle per day while the same 5stars were unlimited, to think that this room is 500qr. The curtain is not block out which was irritating to the eyes in the morning when u wake up. The coffee is out of stock this time and the only cheap capsule they give is neither nespresso nor dolce gusto. Though the restaurant food is amazing. Overall. It is haram not to give water to a thirsty person.

HOW IS IT 5 STAR also the receptionist is so rude noomi & Isam have the worst customer service I’ve seen This hotel had less then standard cleanliness - the water for the first two nights was cold, dirty water also in the sink. We asked to speak to the property manager who literally avoided us. My wife was consistently ignored by its staff. Idk how this hotel is five star absolutely shocking and to top it all off at check out I needed pay the laundry bill and no one was there - I said I’ll come in and pay or pay over phone and they threaten to call the police?? Over 100 QAR what a joke of a hotel

I visited the spa at Sharq Village for a deep muscle sports massage, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The therapist, Pushpa, was clearly not trained for this specific treatment—what I received was a very basic massage with no technique or targeted pressure. It felt generic and rushed, and when I asked, she admitted she had another client scheduled immediately after mine. To add to the disappointment, several parts of the facility were not available for use. There was no access to the steam room, sauna, or jacuzzi—amenities that even a modest 3-star hotel spa would typically offer as part of the experience. Instead, it was just a quick in-room massage and straight out of the hotel. Sharq Village Spa used to be run by Six Senses and had a reputation for excellence, but sadly, it now feels like a shadow of what it once was. The infrastructure remains impressive, but the lack of staff training, poor service quality, and overall disinterest in guest experience made this visit a complete waste of time and money. Definitely not the standard you expect from a luxury resort.

I recently had a wonderful experience at the Ritz-Carlton spa! The facilities were immaculate, and the ambiance was incredibly relaxing. A special thank you to Elisa for her exceptional massage skills – she was attentive, professional, and ensured I was comfortable throughout the session. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and can’t recommend her enough. Looking forward to my next visit!

From my first visit, I really enjoyed the amenities available at the Sharq Village Spa, particularly the gym. Gym has a LOT of equipment and space and it is actually quite thoughtfully laid out and you also have access to a steam room. Aside from this you have your traditional Spa offerings such as massages, treatments, and more.

The pool was fantastic and I was happy to use it for 2 days straight. And a huge fringe benefit is its location/connection to the mall. Highly recommend staying here.

The Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel is truly lovely and wonderfully romantic from the moment you arrive until you depart. The entire ambiance just radiates romance! I was immediately impressed when a valet approached to assist with parking, and then ushered to an entrance that made me feel like a VIP. The classic car on display in the lobby was a fantastic touch. I took the elevator to the rooftop, expecting a lively club, but found a silent bar instead. While that was a bit disappointing as I prefer a noisier vibe, everything else was absolutely 10 out of 10."

The rooms are old and dirty. Curtains with holes in and ripped... House keeping stept in my room whilst I was in the bathroom!! They lost part of our clothing with laundry service ... The shower was really small and had mold... Not going there ever again! The good side of our 4 weeks stay > All restaurants are more than excellent! Super food # super service!

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your hotel. As a long-term guest, I was entitled to discount meal vouchers. However, the staff failed to inform me of their expiration date. As a result, the vouchers expired unused, and I was told that no replacement would be provided. This lack of communication and unwillingness to resolve the matter demonstrates poor customer service and disregard for guest satisfaction. To make matters worse, when I sought assistance, I received only repetitive, automated replies instead of genuine support. I strongly urge your management to address this issue, as such practices significantly diminish the quality of the guest experience and reflect poorly on your hotel’s reputation.

I attended a workshop at Marriott Marquis Doha City Center. During the coffee break, I was disappointed with the pastries and cake, as they had a noticeable eggy smell. At lunch, the overall quality of the food was below expectations, and the meat served was hard and not tender. This was surprising, as I had lunch at the Marriott before and found the food quality much better on that occasion. Afterward, it took about an hour to receive my car from valet service, likely due to a conference taking place at the same time. Overall, my experience this time was not at the level I expected, and I hope these points will be improved.

Had a great short stay here! As a Titanium member I was upgraded and granted a late checkout. The staff was very accommodating and was a pleasure to deal with. The breakfast was excellent as was the executive lounge. The staff at the pool were also great. Really enjoyed my time spent here.

This is truly a five star hotel experience! We checked in at 3am, and the staff were incredibly efficient and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, with floor to-l ceiling windows and beautiful views. The bathroom amenities were excellent and added a real touch of luxury. I had shared my dietary requirements in advance, and the team exceeded all expectations at breakfast - the attention to detail was absolutely first class. A special mention to Quaai at reception, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. He personally showed us around the hotel, which helped us settle in right away. My family and I have just stayed at this hotel for three days. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices; the executive / club lounge was equally as good - both were complimentary as a platinum elite member. The lounge has a happy hour in the evening. Children were allowed in the lounge. I believe there were other restaurants at the hotel, but we did not use them. The pool area was very well maintained. There was a bar at one end of the pool; children were not allowed in this side of the pool, however, children were allowed at the other end of the pool, which was reasonably sized. There was a jacuzzi pool. There is also a small pool for very young children. The pool area was very well maintained. The gym was also very good for a hotel gym. There is security at the main entrance, and the entrance from the hotel to the shopping centre. The hotel felt very safe. All the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and professional.

Honestly they have the best food ever! So many vegetarian options also, they were catering in one of the events of Qatar creates and I was blown away by the quality of their food. Thank you so much also to the staff who was very kind :)

My stay at La Cigale was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming, responsive, and attentive to my requests. It's a charming place, offering a beautiful view of both the dazzling sea and traditional architecture. The pristine shoreline is perfect for relaxing dips. Sand is clean, more granulated, great for kids too. The nearby eateries offer a diverse cuisine selection. A tranquil ambiance invigorates the soul.

The food was excellent. All the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Especially noteworthy are the bartender Putu, Frank at the pool, and Ali. Hakeem always had a funny remark ready. We would love to come back. As a small suggestion for improvement, we’d say a few more vegetarian options, like veggie burgers, would be great. We’d be happy to return and can absolutely recommend the hotel.

Review of Rixos Gulf Hotel I booked a last-minute trip with a friend and decided to stay at the Rixos Gulf. Unfortunately, my initial experience at reception was disappointing, and breakfast on the first morning was quite stressful. The person in charge was shouting loudly when directing customers and his staff , and the team looked visibly distressed. I shared my feedback with him, and he mentioned that he had only recently joined and was trying to improve the breakfast service to achieve a 5-star experience for guests. However, breakfast should be a calm and pleasant environment, even when it’s busy or full of children — this was not the level of service I expected. At around 1.30 in the afternoon I went back to reception to check if our room was ready I noticed the Assistant Front Office Manager Qais Shaheen on how attentively he handled another guest and decided to speak with him directly about my concerns. Qais listened carefully and immediately took action to improve our stay. His professionalism and genuine care turned my experience around. I would also like to mention Shakeel, the pool attendant, who was exceptionally helpful, and Chakra at the pool bar, who provided fantastic service throughout my stay. I’ve traveled to many countries, and I still believe Dubai leads the way in hospitality. At Rixos Gulf, a handful of people truly lived up to that standard — especially the team members I’ve mentioned. The hotel’s facilities are excellent; the gym is well-equipped, the pool area is clean and quiet, and the breakfast options are diverse and delicious. A special thanks to the Club Lounge team — Purity, May, and Apuing — for their outstanding hospitality. They truly made my stay memorable with their professionalism, warm smiles, and exceptional service every day. Their kindness and attention to detail represent the best of InterContinental’s standards. However, a few areas could use some improvement. The dinner selection at the Club Lounge was below expectations compared to other InterContinental properties I’ve stayed at — the variety and quantity of food could be enhanced to better match the brand’s premium reputation. Additionally, there were several occasions when I returned from work in the evening to find that my room had not been cleaned yet, which required me to request housekeeping service manually. Considering it was a long-term stay, I expected more consistency in daily room servicing. Overall, it’s still one of the best hotels in Doha for comfort and service, and I truly appreciate the effort of the wonderful staff, especially the Club Lounge team. With small improvements in housekeeping scheduling and evening food offerings, this hotel can easily be a perfect 5-star experience.

Doha International Airport is a really nice airport modern, clean, and full of great places to eat and shop. If you have a long layover, I definitely recommend getting out and exploring a little bit of Qatar. I had a 10-hour layover and all my luggage with me, but I met a really friendly taxi driver who let me keep my bags in his car and basically became my tour guide for the day. It ended up being an awesome experience and a great way to see Doha even with limited time. Just a heads up: you’re not allowed to bring alcohol into Qatar, and you won’t find any in the airport. Overall, a smooth travel experience and a really unique stopover!

While I was on transit to Kochi on 19th October 2025, I got a chance to spend some time at Doha Airport. Honestly, everything there looked fantastic right from the time I arrived — clean surroundings, beautiful interiors, and well-arranged facilities everywhere. Since I was alone, I didn’t walk around much through the lobbies, kiosks, or outlets, but I could clearly feel how vibrant and grand the whole place was. It’s truly one of the biggest and most impressive airports in Qatar. Another thing I noticed — airport draw tickets were selling like anything! Almost every corner had people eagerly trying their luck. Overall, it was a short but memorable stop during my journey.

It’s super clean, modern, and easy to get around. The staff are friendly, and everything feels calm, even when it’s busy. There are lots of places to eat and shop — from fancy stores to quick snacks. The free Wi-Fi works well, and there are plenty of spots to sit and relax. Tip- you can refill your bottle with free and clean water. If you have a layover, it’s actually a nice place to spend time. Way better than most airports I’ve been through. Do not miss the garden, it is really nice!

You can spend a whole day like a shopping mall in there with lots of food options very nice Mosque outside the airport. Metro is so reachable you can go to City anywhere from this airport. From Mary who we met initially at the Deli Kitchen, the amazing pool team - sham and Faizal and so many others . Every member of the team was friendly, polite , and genuinely caring - they made our stay even more special The daily breakfast was fit for a king with so many top quality food options with table service. We also loved the Blue flames BBQ, pool food on Thursday. the Taj Rasooi served the best biriyani and butter chicken I have ever tasted (that’s saying something ) and Persia Restaurant served even better food and like the rest of the hotel staff again all waiters and waitresses were so friendly and helpful. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave this place, a must for anyone wanting to visit Doha and Qatar with family and friends.

We stayed here for one night during our layover in Doha. The hotel has a striking architecture and lobby area. Due to my elite status, my room was upgraded to a beautiful suite. Since it was our anniversary trip, the staff had generously decorated our room, which was greatly appreciated. The spa facilities are very impressive, it's actually open to non hotel guests as well. The popular accommodations are the villas which were fully occupied when we were there May 21st, 2025. The massage therapist was skilled and accommodating. The location is quite far from the city center, we had to take Uber to and fro the airport, around 20 minute drive. It was quite hot outdoor so we decided not to utilize the pool facilities. The service and interaction by the staff felt a bit cold, not as friendly as their Dubai counterpart. We would probably opt to stay closer to downtown area next time.

Located about 20mins out from frequented spots- not necessarily a bad thing as Ubers are available and we knew prior to booking our transport needs. Overall beautiful hotel with even more caring and thoughtful staff. Definitely returning!

We had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Hotel Doha. A special mention to Arsal at the front desk – his shift was ending just as we arrived, but he kindly stayed back to check us in smoothly. Throughout our stay, he greeted us warmly with a smile every time we entered the hotel and gave us excellent guidance on the best tourist spots in Doha. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location. I’ve stayed at The Pearl before which is lovely, but this property feels more central and well-connected. The rooftop pool with swings is a real highlight, especially for families with kids. Room service was also prompt and excellent. Overall, a fantastic experience – highly recommend!

⭐ Rating: 3/5 Let me start with the first impression and check-in experience 😞 Unfortunately, the check-in process was quite disappointing. The front desk receptionist Sara seemed unaware of the room features , she initially informed us that there was no sofa in the room and recommended adding 100 QAR per night for an extra bed for the child. A few minutes later, she realized that there actually was a sofa in the room, so we didn’t need to pay extra. That kind of uncertainty from the reception team doesn’t reflect the level of professionalism expected from a luxury hotel, considering the fact of we are booking the executive suite “the largest room in the hotel!” The issue didn’t stop there, when we asked about the dinner buffet, the customer service mentioned earlier that it runs from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. However, when we checked in around 7:30 PM, Sara told us, “Sorry, dinner is over!” 😕 We explained that we were a family just arriving from a long road trip, and she said, “Let me try.” Then, right in front of us and my family, she asked her supervisor whether we were “allowed” to have dinner, which was quite embarrassing. Thankfully, the supervisor clarified that the buffet was indeed open until 10:00 PM, as originally stated. 🏨 Hotel & Facilities: The hotel itself is luxurious, well-designed, and beautifully maintained. 🚗 Valet Service: Excellent and well-organised, very smooth and professional! 🏊 Swimming pool: Really it’s perfect 🤩 on the top roof , however the water is cold 🥶. 🍽️ Buffet: The return service and staff inside the restaurant were great 🤩, but the variety of dishes could be improved to match the hotel’s luxury level. ✨ Summary: The hotel infrastructure and services are impressive, but the front desk experience definitely needs improvement. Proper staff training on room details and guest communication would make a huge difference in maintaining the 5-star experience this hotel aims to deliver.

I had a fantastic 10-day stay at the Steigenberger. Great location—close to the airport with supermarkets, restaurants, and currency exchange nearby. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and room service meals were just as good. I loved the gym (even though I only used it once!) and the Opal Spa was amazing—the massages was everything. Staff were warm and welcoming, and the welcome snack tray was a nice touch. After busy tour days in the Doha heat, this was the perfect place to relax. I’d definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Steigenberger Doha for 6 nights room 713 and had a great experience. The receptionist Arsal was very polite and helpful during the check in time and always ready to help and overall the service was smooth, and everything was well taken care of. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others.

5 star hotel in the city of Doha. We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff are courteous and service was good. Many internationals use the hotel so you can be free within the hotel. The roof top pool is also very nice. Room service was also amazing

We had a great stay at Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel. The staff were very kind and welcoming, especially the housekeeping team who did an excellent job. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. However, I would like to mention a concern regarding the outdoor pool area. There were not enough towels available for guests, and to reach the pool, you have to pass by a service entrance and cross a road used by cars. This could be unsafe, particularly for families with young children, so extra caution is needed.

We loved our stay here. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well run. The highlight was Rami at the breakfast buffet. He was incredibly kind and went above and beyond every morning, even making us special smoothies that were amazing. It was the perfect touch to a wonderful and relaxing getaway

The reception team was outstanding — Kenza, Huda, Seif, and the Filipina lady at reception went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. The spa treatment is amazing and worth trialling when visiting Qatar. I went for the Hamman and it was really worth it. The woman Gloria was friendly, kind and amazing at her job. My skin felt amazing after the Hamman and massage.

This was my second time having the Royal hammam ceremony treatment. To tell you how good it is, my 2nd trip to Qatar only gave me a few hours and this is how I chose to spend it. My therapist was Made who was excellent. Everyone I have come into contact with at the hotels & spa have been fantastic. Special thanks to Salina the receptionist at the spa too. If I come back to Qatar, this is straight where I’m heading!

love the junior suite I had, very comfortable and big, location is very good, just next to falcon souq. service staff are all very friendly, special shout out to kynn who went out of his way to help me find a spa despite it being so challenging right after eid. he also gave me very good recommendations on places to see and to eat. argan has very good Moroccan food too, also recommended.

We'd lucked out and we're upgraded on check in to a huge room at the al jasra which proved to be absolutely worth a longer than expected wait at check in. The room was beautiful, comfortable and very quiet. The location was perfect in the souk. The only downside was the pool was too small and not enough sunbeds or indeed sun, plus it was a magnet for pigeons. All staff we met were a pleasure to talk to and when we checked out and needed a taxi the guy on reception came and personally helped us with our luggage and flagged a car down. Excellent service! Would not hesitate to book here again if we ever have the good fortune to be in Doha again.

Absolutely love this museum such a wonderful ambience had coffee at the coffee shop. Overlooked the city views . Excellent photo opportunity on either side of the building don’t just go to one and miss the other. There’s a restaurant that’s open in the evening on the rooftop that I would love to try. The layout of the museum is well thought .

Nice museum, like 4 floors , very nice, expect to spend from 1.5 hours and up if you read everything 😀 👍 , very educational. Interesting. My suggestion come near sunset time it's so beautiful , the views amazing outside to the city.

Gazing at the magnificent architecture and view is rivalled only by the immense plethora of knowledge one is emerged it. It is definitely worth visiting. The museum displays Islamic history and modernity. Tickets are available at the entrance. Be ready for quite a walk, though you wouldn't notice it - once immersed in the vast ocean of knowledge.

Very highly recommended. The museum itself is architecturally very beautiful, and the way in which so many beautiful artefacts are displayed is stunning. The story it tells of Islam is easy to understand and important to know. The view over to the Corniche is beautiful too.

The visit to the Museum of Islamic Art was the highlight of my visit to Doha. The artifacts, pottery, and the beautiful items on display were absolutely awesome. The history of the growth of Islam over the different eras was a good learning experience. To visit the Islamic Museum is highly recommended.

Get ready to spend half a day or one full day enjoying art in the museum. Museum outlook itself is already a masterpiece 😌 there are permanent and temporary themes. Like me, I spent 4-5 hours admiring the art and lunch in the cafe (perfect view!) I got the museum silver pass as I was in the visiting the national museum (which is cheaper than paying each time)

Aspire Park NOT RECOMMENDED I visited the park as a solo male traveler. As I was entering, a security guard came up to me and said the park was for “families only,” and that I wasn’t allowed to enter alone. I tried to joke with him, saying, “I’m my own family,” but let’s just say he didn’t find it funny haha. In the end, I pretended to walk away, then sneaked in through another path — successfully. The park itself is… well, just a park. Lots of open space, some trees, kids playing football, and families picnicking everywhere. Security and staff were all over the place, and it felt quite crowded. I walked around and explored every area, then left through the same path I came in — passing the same guard who stopped me earlier. I stared him dead in the eye as I walked out. Felt so good 😂 Clarification: Who’s allowed to enter freely: • Adults with kids • Solo females • Males wearing sports attire (looks like they’re going to exercise) Who’s not allowed: • Groups of males • Solo males who don’t appear to be entering for sports Remember guys, even if they don’t let you in, just do it. I like walking and do picnics here in early morning or noon at autumn. But now so many birds and ducks here and their 💩 is everywhere. But it's still nice to come here.

A huge park with a lake and a lot of ducks. It’s a good place where you can have a walk and relax away from the city and its a safe space for kids to play.

Really nice park right next to Villagio Mall. There is a small lake/pond where you can hire a paddle boat. There is a bridge with a water fountain. Plenty of places to eat (food trucks).

We were sightseeing Souq Wagif and fort is just nearby. Looking forward to see the piece of history but unfortunately closed, located in corner of Souq Waqif, maybe for next time in Doha. There are many local restaurants, cafes and souvenirs shops round

The United States helped Israel fire at Doha. That’s why the U.S. air-defense system stood down when the missile flew in. Qatar should join the Middle East bloc in becoming self-reliant before the U.S. uses Israel to seize all the oil fields.

I got to the fort in the evening so there were no camels that I saw in some of the photos. With the lights it look pretty but with walls rather low, even its tower, I wonder what role it serves as a fort. Maybe it is just my perception that fort needs to be high to be effective.

This fort is always close, but luckily it's open tonight and I had the chance to see what's inside.

Fort Al Koot is a landmark in the heart of Doha nearby Souq Waqif.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to. Staff hospitality was on show from the time we checked in Kind, warm, welcoming and generous staff. The interiors are made from the best of best quality. The rooms are beautifully designed with the view. Food and beverages are very good in taste. The quality is top notch when it comes to hospitality and management. specially Ayush bar tender he is very cooperative and kind.

I arrived on foot from the nearest Metro Station. It was easy to find (the hotel is 27 floors and can't be missed). I had requested while booking for a better view, and to my surprise, when I arrived the reception officer informed me that my room had been upgraded to a sea view room, free of charge. The room was prestine, I couldn't find a follicle or a hair even if I looked with a magnifying glass. The staff here is incredibly polite, hospitable, and accommodating. The always greet you when you pass by them, and are very eager to help with anything you need. At a 5 minute walk from the Hotel is the West Bay Beach (ticket QR 50), which is a popular activity if you are visiting the area; clean beach, and a good vibe.

We loved staying here. All of the staff are outstanding, welcoming and helpful - I’ve never felt so “at home” and happy at a hotel - all of the staff should be commended for their superior service. It’s a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with a spectacular view. Our room was so spacious with a huge comfortable bed, the sheets and pillows were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was also spacious and well appointed. The rooftop pool area and gym is fantastic. A short walk to the beach. We didn’t get to eat at the hotel, but did utilise the lovely nearby restaurants. I cannot speak highly enough of our stay at this hotel and also Doha. We cannot wait to return.

I stayed here for 4 months during my official visit to Qatar. The food was awesome and specially would like to highlight the cleanliness and hygiene maintained in the premise. The pool is super clean and with a fantastic view. Gymnasium is well equipped. The stay was very pleasant and I would like to appreciate the entire staff of Qabila Westbay for making me feel at home whilst my stay with them. They were very courteous and accommodating. This hotel is incredibly convenient and comfortable. The staff is professional and helpful. Bonus: the view is intriguing, you see all the people moving around the terminal. Also the internet is fast speed. I recommend this hotel.

I am very impressed by Mr. Artamash, who attended to us at reception. He is approachable, kind, cheerful, and a quick decision-maker with multitasking abilities. He handled everything swiftly, even while assisting other guests. He has a good command of English, delivered with a softness that is both impressive and rare in hospitality nowadays. Such a great idea ... to get a transit visa in Doha and stay at Hyatt Regency Oryx. Enjoyed the refreshing sleep and excellent restaurants. Shuttle...1x each way on hour and half-hour. 15min drive. Helpful staff.

The Oryx Airport Hotel at Doha Airport is a great place to rest during a layover. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable, with good soundproofing and friendly service. The location inside the terminal makes it extremely convenient especially when travelling with children. The only downside is the price, it’s a bit too expensive for a short stay, but overall a very pleasant experience and worth it. Reservation highly recommend as it’s almost always fully booked.

Lovely once you find it - perfect service, great staff, very quiet, clean and a good place to stopover for a sleep. BUT - Really hard to find: “near the yellow teddy bear” is a very unhelpful direction when there are no signs for the teddy bear, much less the hotel. We walked for 45 mins trying to find it, asked 3 information booths, a shop assistant and a security guard before we found it. Please, please, PLEASE include some sort of useful directions when booking: we won’t stay again because we couldn’t be bothered trying to find it again. Surely there is a grid reference or something that would help?

Very convenient, professional staff, comfortable rooms and sizeable bathroom. facilities such as the pool were great, quiet and much needed. It would be worth getting a pass just for this if you have a shorter layover (pool, jacuzzi, gym, shower, quiet and private) Room service is acceptable, however the food is pre cooked / pre packaged.

Perfect spot to sleep during an overnight layover. A bit hard to find (follow the signs for the Oryx lounge if you get confused). Very clean, big and comfy beds, and the rain shower was luxurious to have between flights. Reception also told us our gate # for our flight the next day when we checked out early in the morning. Wonderful service!
