Exceeded expectations by quite some margin! We had the BBQ scallops, tuna, BBQ sea bass and duck Rossini. Faultless. The stand out were the scallops. Amazing. The BBQ sea bass was also spectacular. Fabulous service. Cracking value at £130 for the food, a bottle of rosé and a cider. Will definitely be back soon.

Popped in for breakfast it was very quiet at 9:00 a.m., What a surprisingly nice egg and avocado Breakfast was okay but I feel like I always miss beans if it's not there. The coffee was nicely presented and okay but not as strong as I like it

One of the best Sunday lunches we’ve had. Belly pork was amazing with the cauliflower cheese. Although there was no truffle mash served which the menu said was part of the roast. Would definitely come again but…where was the truffle mash??

It's been a few months since we visited but I thought I'd better get round to posting a review as we had a very good experience. I have somewhat complicated dietary restrictions which they catered to very well, and overall the food and service was very good. The service was polite, friendly & attentive without being overbearing, and the food was really tasty, we had quite a range of dishes between 6 of us and all left satisfied! Edited to original review: we have since visited 2 more times, and I remain impressed by the quality of the food, the service, and their willingness to cater to my food intolerances.

Really good Sunday roast! Between us we had pork, lamb and beef and all were delicious and perfectly cooked, served with excellent veg, puddings and potatoes (particularly loved the addition of truffle mash!). We also had a solid Bloody Mary and great wines by the glass. Definitely in the top 3 of the many roasts we’ve sampled in Leeds

The quality of food and service is absolutely fantastic, I'm a returning customer. The sunday roast is amazing and the size of the Yorkie is huge and quite a spectacle on the plate. Their brioche buns and bagels are made in-house and are delicious! Service is always prompt and friendly, they look after you well. Group sizes of all kinds can be accommodated, booking a table ahead is recommended but not necessary. They also have a good sized function room upstairs available for hire and events.

Amazing experience. I booked for my friends baby shower for a large group outside, but when the weather took a turn, Vikki made an effort to arrange our own room upstairs in the stunning event space. The staff were attentive and the food was incredible, they really looked after us. I would highly recommend the seabass dish and the pineapple spicy margaritas. Many thanks to Jacob and the team for such a lovely day.

Went for brunch and had an enjoyable experience. Got the Turkish eggs with an extra merguez sausage on top. Big portion and seasoned well. It is a little on the pricier side, especially if adding extra toppings, but it's a nice treat every now and then.

Popped in for coffee, while I waited for my wife to have her eye operation, but ended up having a very nice breakfast indeed - it's not very often I'm in this neck of the woods living out York way, but with the wife going in for eye surgery at a local hospital and a wait of a couple of hours, no point in travel back home to turn round an come straight back. Thats why the coffee hunt, so glad I did - good strong coffee with a very nice eggs royale, on an english muffin. Spot on and service was excellent

Just popped into House of Koko for the first time after moving to the area, and my new friend Lucy truly made the experience unforgettable. She was soo friendly, warm, and attentive, going out of her way to tell me about the area, the menu and she even made my little one feel right at home. Her genuine kindness and attentive service was such a cozy, welcoming vibe that I can’t wait to return to!

We came here for breakfast to celebrate our anniversary. Great atmosphere, helpful staff and brilliant coffee. I really enjoyed decaf flat white and special juice including ginger, mint, apple etc❤️‍🔥 Highly recommended.

Moose Coffee offers a very UK-style atmosphere with a cozy vibe that makes it a nice spot to hang out. The food itself is fairly average — nothing too special, but it does the job. What really stands out is the staff: they’re super friendly and attentive, which makes the experience a lot better. Prices are reasonable, and the 20% student discount is definitely a plus.

Our new favourite breakfast food place! Great coffee and matcha, delicious selection of food and a warm and welcoming service. It was a lovely experience through and through, our server Elli was so kind and lovely, nothing was too much trouble! And a big shout out to chef Krystian for the delicious food! We will certainly be back, there is simply too many yummy things we want to try!

Exceptional food, polite friendly service and great value. Menu choices and variety are phenomenal. I had the Manilito ( a delicious Moose's take on Huevos Rancheros) and my husband had Fab Five Freddy burger and potato hash. Drinks, food quality and atmosphere was excellent. Such a lovely place.

Alex cooked me an amazing fab five Freddie- the potato hash was out of this world! Fantastic presentation and the flavour combo was unreal. I would definitely recommend. Archie was my server, he was attentive and knowledgeable and very polite without being pushy. He couldn’t accommodate me enough. It’s nice to see the younger generation grafting hard. All the staff at Leeds moose work very hard and this is clear to see. The place runs like clockwork and is very clean and tidy! I will 100% return! No complaints at all! 5 star! Cocktails were lovely, food was plentiful, and atmosphere was great! DEFINITELY book as people were being turned away on a Sunday for brunch. Will definitely come back. Jasmine was very sweet and gave us birthday pancakes which were scrumptious! Despite the busy nature of the restaurant, Krystian did amazingly well in the kitchen and the food was clearly made me with love. A+++++++ place.

Busy place but they got us in quickly. Had the thick Moose pancakes with maple syrup and streaky bacon – fluffy, tasty, bacon could’ve been thicker but still hit the spot. Flat white was decent, though lacking froth (maybe rushed barista). Service was solid. Good spot for a hearty breakfast.

Abbie welcomed us with a lovely and positive demeanour although we didn’t book she informed us it would be a 20 minute wait and when we came back there was a table ready for us. 100% recommend as she was a top server and Krystian made 10/10 food!!

Low quality food at high prices. Visited the Frankie and Benny’s at the white rose shopping centre tonight for the first time and left slightly disappointed. From the start, we ordered 2 cocktails and a Stella, there was no Stella available so not sure why have it on the menu. So I had a Mahou instead . Both drinks were actually very nice. The food however, came extremely quick which obviously rings alarm bells as to how freshly cooked it is or is it pre made? I don’t know the answer to that but I do know that the food wasn’t great it was just average. In the pictures you’ll see the giant mozzarella stick and the bbq beef brisket fries that we had as starters; Then you’ll see the chicken stacker and half pepperoni pizza/ half calzone. The waitress was lovely and happy but I’m afraid we won’t be returning as there are much better restaurants in the shopping centre than this one.

We enjoyed the food but took ages to be seated even though there were tables free. A few groups waiting behind us ended up leaving and going elsewhere. We would have but being at the front of the queue we kept thinking it can't take much longer. Once we were seated it took ages again to take our order, we couldn't get anyone's attention, it was like we were invisible. The food was nice though but again, we asked for the bill and it took longer than necessary. This all contributed to a poor atmosphere. If they could get the staff to be warm and friendly and make the service quicker then I'm sure more people would enjoy eating here. The other people in my party said they will not go back here.

The staff are friendly and attentive, the food was nice came quickly. My only fault was the portion sizes, 4.95 for a portion of fries we were hoping to share was ridiculous and the carbonara was very small, we shouldn't have left hungry especially for the price we paid.

Just a little disappointed as there was no ceasear salad as they ran out of dressing. Then no beef brisket and no brownies on the kids menu. Food was good though. Service from James was really good.

Had the gf vegan cheese pepperoni pizza. Oh my. It was absolutely delicious. One of the best l have ever tasted. Staff so friendly. Thank you Katie our waitress who was very helpful. Will definitely be back

I went to their restaurant recently and had a great experience. The place was really clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They served us quickly and kept checking if we needed anything, which I really appreciated. They also recommended some really tasty dishes. The food was top quality, and I always recommend this place to my friends!

Had good and bad experiences here but the majority is bad as of recent. It’s definitely not worth it anymore because of service and quality of food has gone down. Today me, my partner and my 2 year old were sat inside by an uninterested server. We get its busy but after waiting 10 minutes to be sat, we then got ignored and no one bothered to even take our drink order. Yet the people they sat after us, they did all of their drink orders and food orders whilst we sat twiddling our thumbs. How does that work? I then said excuse me to the male server walking past, there wasn’t enough noise in the restaurant for him not to hear me, he blatantly ignored me and walked past our table. We got up and left. Won’t be waiting ages and paying for rubbish service. Frankie and Benny’s needs to work harder. There’s no excuse for staff to not even give a polite hello or “I’ll be with you in a minute”. Basic manners are now off the table apparently. Went to Prezzo instead, which was more affordable, more tasty and had great service as well as looked modern inside the restaurant. Prezzo was also extremely busy and only had one woman working as a server and they had two chefs. The server managed to deliver a great service even still. The chef’s got food out really fast. Frankie and Benny’s definitely need to work on their staff training.

A good spot to get a morning delivery when your not in the mood to make your own brekkie. Definitely good for your value and a good source of comfort food. It's got a very fast delivery time and delicious food. I ordered a bacon bap with chips and brownie for desert. I definitely will be ordering again 😋

Haven't been back since graduating in 2011 (eek! 😂). But was back in Leeds with my uni besties, so we popped in. Still the same quality - jel of the students! Veggie small - which was pretty sizeable. Got the flapjack too. Also it's the quickest tea I've ever been served in my life. Ordered at the counter and was immediately in my hands. So Yorkshire 🖤

Cheap and cheerful. Food was lovely as per usual and the service was nice and quick.

I failed the food challenge. If you're attempting it you only get half an hour (it used to be an hour) which makes it 10x more difficult. If you succeed you do get a little keyring now which is nice. The staff are lovely and for £20, and the amount of food you get, it's great value.

I can honestly say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to! From the moment I walked in, the warm welcome and cosy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. I tried the sweet and sour and the chicken spring rolls both dishes were packed with authentic taste and just the right balance of spice. You can really tell the chefs put so much care and passion into every plate. The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything spot on: quality food, great service, and a lovely ambience. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend this gem if you love authentic Thai cuisine! Great staff team. Will be back.

Came here as had some vouchers given and thought we’d extend our anniversary! We chose the set menu @ £45pp. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. I have attached the menu we had. The restaurant was nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The staff ‘Jo’ I think his name was, was friendly and attentive. Would happily eat here again.

We had a the Royal Bottomless Brunch. The starter was amazing, cooked to perfection served hot. We asked for a break between the main course and this was accommodated. The main course was smaller than expected but welcomed! I was panicking thinking I wouldn't be able to eat my main but it was just right! The cocktails were delicious (apart from the mango fizz!) but that's merely personal choice. My only criticism would be the insence sticks that were lit near our table. We have asthma and it was quite strong for us. However it was in keeping with the restaurant's aesthetic. I would highly recommend and we will return!

Prices Are Slightly On The Higher End But Taking Into Account Your Paying For Quality Food, Dining In A Stunning Setting & Vibrant Atmosphere With Outstanding Service, I Think It's Fair To Say It Merits The Prices On The Menu. Service Charge Is Optional. Plenty Vegetarian Options & All Chicken & Duck Dishs Are Halal. Plenty Of Seating Available With The Premises Having 2 Floors Boasting A Stunning Thai Theme & Decor. We were really looking forward to our evening at Chaophraya Leeds, but the whole experience was a letdown. The food was good, but everything else fell short. Our starter arrived before our drinks, which shouldn’t happen in a restaurant of this standard. We were seated next to a loud, drunk group that completely ruined the atmosphere, and staff did nothing about it. Service was slow, disorganised, and inattentive. We had to flag someone down just to place our order, and after finishing our mains, our plates were left in front of us for over 30 minutes while staff walked by avoiding eye contact, at that point there was only 4 tables left at the restaurant. We felt completely ignored. When ordering mains, we asked if they had mango sticky rice. We didn’t order it, just enquired. After the long wait for our plates to be cleared, we were no longer interested in dessert. Still, not long after the plates were finally taken — without an apology or any check-in — a dessert just appeared at the table with no explanation. At that point, we were clearly ready to leave, and it only added to the confusion. They removed the service charge, but that felt like the bare minimum. For what we paid, the overall experience was massively overpriced. We left feeling disappointed and frustrated. Definitely will not be returning.

We had a lovely Bottomless Brunch yesterday, the food was pretty good with just a few minor issues with the full English Breakfast. Our waitress Daisy was great, she was very attentive and friendly and provided great service. We really enjoyed it! Definitely recommend.

Came in for casual drinks but left talking about the service. Patrik was approachable, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about cocktails. His recommendations were spot-on, and he managed to make each of us feel like the evening was tailored just for us!

We had a team social here, and Patrik made it effortless. Organising a group can be stressful, but he handled it with ease, ensuring food and drinks came smoothly. His friendly professionalism made the night fun, and everyone left with great feedback about the venue.

My partner and I had an incredible evening at Lost & Found Leeds on Greek Street and it was all thanks to our fantastic server, Alannah. From the moment she greeted us her warmth and genuine enthusiasm made us feel so welcome. She was a true professional, offering excellent recommendations from the cocktail menu and the food menu which were both spot on. Alannah was attentive without being intrusive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The way she handled a slightly complex drinks order was impressive she was patient, knowledgeable, and ensured everything was perfect. It's rare to find someone who combines such efficiency with such a friendly, bubbly personality. The food and drinks were delicious, but Alannah truly elevated our experience from good to outstanding . Her passion for her job shines through, and she's a real asset to the team at Lost & Found. I came in for a bottomless brunch with a large party, and he couldn’t have been more accommodating for all my daughters’ dietary requirements - showing excellent knowledge of the menu and making some banging bellinis. The Lost & Found on Greek Street is a dream. I had the pan-roasted chicken with truffle mash—absolutely divine—and the cocktails were just as impressive. Gorgeous atmosphere, great service, and food that hits every note. Can’t wait to go back.

Patrik made our night! His cocktail knowledge is unmatched, but more importantly, he knows how to make people feel welcome. He gave us space to enjoy our evening but was always there when we needed something. Truly excellent service.

My wife and I both ordered the two-course set menu. The set menu was reasonably priced and definitely worth trying. All the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. The meatballs were flavorful, especially with the tomato sauce. The pizza crust was light and crispy, and even finishing a whole pizza on your own didn’t feel too heavy. The pasta paired perfectly with the cheese. We will definitely come back again.

Was recommended by my friend. We came here for my partners 30th birthday was provided a free prosecco glass with our meal. The service from the staff is great, the food is amazing and the price is much lower than expected. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back for sure.

We ordered bruschetta, first time it came, the plate was literally watery, the baguette slices were soggy and the tomatoes and onions looked stale and old. We sent it back and requested another one to be made. And this is what was served, two stingy THIN and small slices of bread dished up with the same stale pale tomatoes and onion. It tasted just like old food and bread was chewy I almost threw up. Having had bruschetta from ALOT of places, I definitely know what flavour profiles it requires and this was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. The staff were great and service was nice, they were understanding too, shout out to Steven. But the food was just disappointing.

This review is LONG overdue. I moved to Leeds to start uni. My mom and I went to the Bella Italia in Leeds for dinner one night. Our server, Mel, was incredible! She was very helpful and gave us a laugh while we were figuring out what to eat. She was also very kind offering me advice and letting me know I could ask her any questions. I meant to write this review 2 weeks ago but I was logged out of my account. Bella Italia should consider themselves very lucky to have a server as lovely and genuine as Mel. The food and drinks were also very delicious.

We visited The Ivy, Leeds on July 16, 2025, to celebrate my daughter’s university graduation and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is beautiful, perfect for a special occasion. I had the prix fixe menu with duck salad, sea bass, side of mashed potatoes and crème brûlée — all delicious. One of my daughters had the same but chose the chocolate bombe, which was amazing too. Service was top-notch, our server was lovely and super attentive. Even the bathrooms were pretty! Highly recommend!

Wow..... Food is incredible and amazing service. My steak was so good, cooked to medium and the hake was so well presented. The wine was beautiful but the port was served at the perfect temperature, along with the cheese!

All of the staff were friendly. The restaurant was bright and welcoming. Our waiter was very attentive, explained that the gift voucher value I had for a cream tea could be used on the main menu instead. We had the cream tea. It was lovely. We got a large pot of tea each and 3 fresh, warm scones with cream & jam each. We were offered an extra tea bag each as we like strong tea! As it was my birthday, the waiter brought me a giant profiterole with a candle in it. A lovely touch.

We were at the Ivy having Sunday lunch this weekend What a lovely Sunday lunch it was 🙂 The service from the staff was very attentive and helpful not to mention how friendly they all were also We had three courses and a nice bottle of Malbec 🍷 😋 We’ll be back again soon for sure 💯

The place it self is fabulous it looks very classy, it just the service isn’t up to par with what it is. We ordered a desert the chocolate bomb, which was ok but not a wow. Portion wasn’t big either, repo ally the ice cream scoop. We also ordered morning and afternoon tea which were very light which was disappointing as the presentation was nice. Overall wouldn’t go again disappointing especially for being over 25 pounds and with 12% service charge.

The perfect location for a Baby Shower! We reserved the beautiful function room upstairs and enjoyed a fantastic buffet. It comfortably fit 20 people and everyone complimented the venue choice. Excellent service and communication throughout. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

BANYAN 2025 BOTTOMLESS SUPPERCLUB (AFTER 3PM) 9 ladies wined and dined here on Saturday evening. We were well looked after. The prosecco was flowing and so were the other drinks although we all said that we felt that the drinks were watered down. Food was excellent and very tasty. £41.95 wasn't really a bad price considering whst we had to drink. Staff were lovely and looked after us we. Unfortunately the music left little to be desired. The dance floor was mostly empty and that's a real sign for the dj to change the music. All in all we had a great time.

Popped in today to have a Sunday roast. It was lovely, you get a large portion, I opted for beef, you get red cabbage, parsnips, carrots Yorkshire puddings, loads of roast potatoes, broccoli and unlimited gravy. Cost was around £21.50. knocked a star off due to the beef being overdone. But would recommend. The Guinness was spot on.

Can not give the manager Kieran and our server Carrie enough praise. We had less than an hour before our train and they made sure we had food and drinks with time to spare. Service and efficiency 10/10. Although it was really busy. No member of staff looked flustered or struggling. From what I saw , it was good management of staff and everyone working as a team.

Booked Alexanders for a girls day with my mum and sister. After going to skipton market we decided to see if we were able to get seated earlier as the weather wasn't great, the staff seated us straight away and were all so friendly and attentive. The place was quite busy and had a lovely atmosphere, really chilled but felt high end. The food was amazing! Really well presented and so tasty and the portions were a good size. The seafood tasted really fresh. Will definitely return 😊

This place had been recommended to us by a family member, so since we were in the area we decided to give it a go, and it did not disappoint! We visited on a Friday during lunch time and although we hadn't booked, we were shown to a table promptly by friendly staff. To drink we ordered a flat white which was professionally made with a pattern on top, and a pot of loose leaf tea which was served in pretty crockery. The menu offers a large choice of options from main meals such fish and chips or steak, to lighter options like sandwiches or 'nibbles'. We opted for the Lebanese Flatbread (flat bread with hummous and Tzatziki dips), this was a starter but we ordered it to come with our mains to share. We also ordered the Fishfinger ‘Butty’ Luxe and the BBQ pulled pork bao bun; both of these dishes were accompanied by a pot of coleslaw which was some of the nicest coleslaw I’ve ever had, it was so creamy and tasty. The fish finger butty was described as being fish goujons, but when it arrived it was actually a single large fish. It still tasted amazing so not an issue, but was probably more difficult to eat than a few smaller goujons as described. All of these dishes were extremely tasty and definitely worth the money. We also loved that the restaurant had an open kitchen, meaning you can see the chefs preparing the food. Always a good sign of a hygienic well presented restaurant, as there's nowhere to hide. Overall if you are looking for a very nicely decorated modern restaurant in Skipton that provides great service, and even better food, then this is the place for you. We will definitely return when we are next in Skipton.

Absolutely beautiful setting, outstanding service and the food...OH...MY...DAYS....amazing. The service staff were above and beyond and honestly, never stopped smiling and it was so lovely to see. We had the mussels and the open beef sandwich, both of which were stunning; compliments to the chef. Definitely worth a trip over to Skipton for and we'll be back ....soon

A bit of a hit and miss first visit, but we will be back. Booked a table for Wednesday lunchtime, and we were greatly impressed with the greeting and the surroundings - Alexander's truly does feel like a grand café from an era gone by. We were seated at a table for 2, which is all well and good, but there were 2 people on a 4 top next to us, which meant I had to keep shuffling my chair in and out to let waiters and the two (incredibly rude) customers to my left out. The menu reads fantasticly, and it certainly took some time to choose what to have - both of us going for two courses - Flatbreads and Croquettes to start (both of these were excellent) and the Fish Goujon sandwich and Fish and Chips. The waiter who served us was pleasant enough, but a bit of a rabbit in the headlights - he forgot what I ordered straight after I told him (no notepad to jot it down was a bit odd) - and he also struggled when clearing plates off our table and the one next to us - seeing him scramble around on the floor for cutlery was a bit cringey in the environment. My wife's sandwich was excellent I will say, however my fish and chips was just a little, odd tasting. The chips were very dry and slightly bitter tasting, and every other bite of my fish and chips left a slightly weird taste in my mouth - Wether that was the remnants of the chips I'm not sure, as the fish my wife had was excellent - but I just couldn't enjoy every mouthful. I really hate complaining, and the fact the starters were excellent, and the venue itself superb, left me thinking that maybe I just got a bit unlucky with what I ordered. But there is definitely room for improvement on our next visit

Delicious food, beautiful interior, great attentive service. I got the pistachio / mushroom pasta which was SO SO good and reminiscent of my visits to Italy. For dessert I ordered the pear sticky toffee pudding, (without the rum crème) which was delicious! We also had a bake to take away, pictured in the first photo. We ate on the terrace, the heaters made it enjoyable.

Me and my mum drove to Skipton for a few hours out and decided to stop at Alexander’s for a drink and a quick snack. First impressions were good, the place looked nice and the menu sounded promising, even though the sandwiches weren’t cheap. We ordered drinks, sandwiches, and some water for the table. Our drinks arrived fairly quickly, and we sat chatting while waiting for the food. After we’d finished our drinks, we realised we’d been waiting quite a while, nearly 40 minutes , and still no sign of our sandwiches. We eventually called a member of staff over to ask how much longer it would be, only to be told that our food order hadn’t been put through at all. By that point, we no longer had time to wait, so we had to leave without eating. Disappointingly, we were still charged full price for the drinks. A real shame, as we were looking forward to our visit. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Fabulous experience. Went for afternoon tea and it could not have been better. Plenty to eat, washed down with plenty tea, in nice surroundings, and friendly, attentive staff.

I went for lunch with friends, the salad bar offers unlimited servings with very fresh ingredients. My favorite dish was the pork belly, it was absolutely delicious! The staff provided excellent service, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, it was a great dining experience! We will definitely visit again!

Just been in for lunch, my aunt had scampi and chips which she said they was fabulous as always. I have the 10oz sirloin steak, cooked to perfection medium rare by Sam. Our server was Catherine, very friendly and helpful, we will be definitely coming back. Thank you guys 😊

Rang up to ask if they were still serving food and got a table booked for 10mins time after being to the northern lights . Not been to a harvester for a long time seen as our local closed down .wow we wasn't disappointed table staff was excellent. Food was spot on ribs just melted of the bone 2 of us had the barbecue and 1 of us had honey all. lovely. Fish and chips for the last person was really enjoyed. Even though it's a distance from home we would defo travel. Nice to see free salad bar is still running

Came today for the first time as my wife had won a voucher. I’ve not been to Harvester for years. The service from walking in was absolutely brilliant. We were seated quickly and our server Mia, was over very quickly to take our drinks order. From there service from Mia was brilliant. She wasn’t too quick or too slow in asking for our orders and sorting the bill etc. Overall a great experience We will be back

Went for breakfast here yesterday. Monica our server with the lovely pink hair couldn't have been nicer, amazing service. We wanted to tip her but I think she finished her shift before we left. Thank you Monica! Great vegetarian options, value for money and oat milk for tea and coffee wasn't extra which was a pleasant surprise

We've walked past this restaurant many times over the years when on our way to the cinema, so we decided to try it out and booked a table. We weren't disappointed and really enjoyed our meals (the mixed grill was delicious!). The atmosphere was great and seeing the kitchen in the centre of the restaurant was interesting. Loved it and will probably go again.

Great place to eat in Halifax. Very prompt and welcoming service. Food was wonderful especially enjoyed the rid stack. Special mention to Natasha and Stephen our servers, going above and beyond to make our visit so special.

We have been into the Halifax branch a few times at lunchtime, usually before going to the pictures. Service is always very good and the servers are very attentive. At lunchtime they have an offer on , £8 for a meal. So far we have tried 3 different things each and were not disappointed. The portions are big enough for lunchtime, always hot and very nice. I would recommend to friends and family. Cola/lemonade etc are unlimited top ups too. I think this place gets missed by people travelling into Halifax.

Went for breakfast with my partner yesterday morning and the food was amazing, came out hot and the 3 staff members were very attentive, even though it was very busy. Will definitely come again.

I would never eat here again, the manager has no manners, has absolutely no care as to whether the customer is happy or not, he is abrupt, rude and can't be bothered to do anything to help the customers feel welcome. There was no accumplements for coffee, chocolate bits for cappuccino and a like, there was never even a thank you when we pointed out that the kitchen was on fire, we were told it was table service, then to find out only what he wanted to serve you, so toast, coffee and fruit juices were all self service. The waitress we had was totally the opposite, curtious, helpful and polite, deserves to be the manager here, as this establishment wouldn't miss the manager they have at the moment.

Very lively. Stopped in for cocktails. 241 cocktails were quite sweet and not to our taste. Regular cocktails were really good. Will have to try eating there.

Wonderful service from a lovely young lady and nice starters - BUT!!!!! a VERY very poor portion of chicken and chips under the guise of Manhatta Chicken. Not pleased at all. Wouldn't have expected a kid's meal to be served looking like that. At £12.95, it felt like we'd have been better off going to Rajas. We will not be returning to any Manhatta establishment in the future. Very poor.

Went for a bottomless brunch and waited 20 minutes to get a drink to the table. The waitress brought 3 drinks which weren’t ours and there was 4 people sat on our table. We then had to wait further with still no drinks. I went to speak to manager and complained we been there over 20 minutes and never got a drink. The manager then came back and was unapologetic and made excuses for the situation instead of an apology. The manger stated we only ordered our drinks 5 minutes ago when this wasn’t true and he stated that the drinks on our table belonged to a different table. We also didn’t get an apology for this. Personally felt like the manger came to our table to start an argument and was very close to my face as the music was so loud which felt very close in my personal space. The manager went back and we then noticed he was talking to the waitress and were starring at our table and making it obvious. Made us feel uncomfortable.Just felt like this was dealt very unprofessionally. Choose a different bottomless brunch.

Really good place for a dinner during week. Pleasant atmosphere and the staffs were great! Also the service was quite fast. Loaded fries: tasty! Ribs: Best one for sure! Definitely recommend Chicken kebab: Good. Chicken was tasty and came with salad and also bread with hummus (bread was perfect) Churros: Perfect texture! could just have way more sauce. Only 2 points I believe could be improved: 1. As I said the churros could have had more sauce 2. I really don't agree with the bill already with service. We were going to pay as the service was great but it's a bit annoying when you have to ask if you don't want it.. and can easily put people off coming back.

Quickly seated and attended to. Professional staff. Most delicious nachos I've had with fresh herbs!! I was disappointed there was no duck available in my selected main, so had salmon in its place, turned out not too bad. Will recommend for meals.

Bit expensive for food similar to Wetherspoons but twice the price. Lovely atmosphere, friendly polite service. Just a bit expensive. Optional 10% service charge doesn't seem very optional when you are presented with the bill and the card machine, so that's an extra £5-6 I wasn't budgeting into the cost so beware of that. Food was generally very nice but fairly modest portions.

Oh I love this place! I was there twice yesterday! First on my own for brunch, and then joined by a friend. Then later in the afternoon with another friend for snacks and cocktails! The staff are so friendly and lovely. Very helpful. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious and the drinks were fabulous! Reasonably priced too.

Visited between Christmas and New year service was really quick and food good, it wasn't very busy so atmosphere was a bit lacking and it was a bit chilly when the door kept being open. Nice friendly service though and good choice of food for all tastes.

3 for £15 tapas was unfortunately not applied to our bill, I didn't much enjoy the curry and a default 10% gratuity was added to the total without my understanding. Our server was wearing a baggy, poorly fitting, fleece and left us to it for quite a long time after the meal.

Loved it! I came here on a whim because it's close to the station (hence the name I suppose) and I'm happy I did! The menu is varied and offers many tasty sounding dishes that cater to carnivores, vegetarians and vegans alike. There are also plenty of sweet and savoury pastries to choose from! The interior is charming and I didn't have to wait long to get a table. The staff was very friendly and helpful! And - most importantly for most - food and coffee were great! I'll definitely come back here when I'm in Leeds once more!

We went to the restaurant one day and were told there were no available tables, with a waiting time of 30–45 minutes. We decided to come back another day, earlier, and with a reservation. Two days later, we called to book but were told they don’t take reservations and to just come directly. When we arrived, they said there were no tables and that we would have to wait 15–20 minutes, even though several tables were empty both inside and outside. The staff’s attitude was not great, and unfortunately, the service was poor. The food was tasty, but you leave the restaurant smelling like cooking because the kitchen is in the middle of the place. On top of that, the noise level was so high you could barely talk and heard.

This place was an absolute delight! We stopped for lunch on a gorgeous, sunny day and the atmosphere was vibrant and busy—clearly a very popular spot. The menu had a lovely selection of food, but I was truly blown away by the amazing specialty coffee and the incredible pastries. ​I couldn't leave without taking some with me for later! I can't recommend this gem enough for anyone visiting Leeds. A well-deserved 5 stars! ☕

This place exceeded our expectations. Great full English and amazing Turkish eggs. Pastry was great too. It’s right next to the train station, which is very convenient if you are traveling.

God this place is just heavenly. Probably preaching to the converted if you are from Leeds. This place is quite rightly rammed so come early or book in advance. Lovely breakfasts, good coffee, great service, too both ambience. I love this place. Trust the locals! They know their rhubarb!

Lovely place to go for brunch or a coffee and a pastry. We had a latte and flat white with a croissant and a cinnamon bun. The croissant was massive and delicious, and coffees were fantastic too. Great service and ambient!

Such is the popularity of this cafe even pre 9:00 am on a Saturday morning I’m in the basement which is quiet, chilled with the A/C + music. Fast well organised table service, first class food, numerous charging points and its convenience for the 🚂 makes this a must visit eatery.

We visited Chiquito’s at Birstall on New Years Day. I have been on a few occasions in the past, so I thought I would add my review. In this specific experience everything went relatively smoothly, the restaurant was quiet as you would expect on the 1st January. The dishes within the pictures are Nachos, Southern Fried Chicken & BBQ Pulled Pork and Paella, which were cooked reasonably well. The service was relatively steady and I would probably visit again. The style is quite unique with the hanging bottles and the upbeat Mexican theme, albeit this may not necessarily suit every occasion. However, if your looking for a family friendly place with strong flavours which is not so strict on the dress code for example, then it’s a good option.

Welcoming & friendly staff. As it was late, and with all new normal rules, we were worried, we wouldn't be able to get in. But, surprise - we were welcomed with heart warming smile. Seated pretty much straight as we got in, food was served quick and we enjoyed our visit. The food on my plate definitely intrigued, some one who was sat in next table to ours. So, if you haven't already tried - chimichangas are definitely worth trying. Happy Eating.. :)

Average food at an expensive price. The halloumi cheese was over cooked and extremely salty, it didn’t really add much to the burger. The burger buns were dry. As above, it wasn’t bad but expected a bit more.

Absolutely fantastic food! Everything was just perfect, from the blend of flavours to the portion sizes. Service was also great. Highly recommend it! PS: the tacos come in portions of 3 but they were too delicious, so I had already eaten one when I remembered to take a photo 😁

Been to Chiquito many times in many different locations. Personally I am not a big fan of Mexican food basically just can’t stand the spice but still can always find something to order from the menu. I would say the food quality is improved over years. A nice friendly place for a quick meal and won’t break your bank too :)

Nice fair prices, especially for the quality of the coffee. Butternut squash, tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach on toast was delicious; although maybe a tiny bit heavy on the butternut squash for me. Chicken Caesar sandwich was fresh and the bread was great.

Mrs Artha’s Café in Leeds is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the beautiful industrial décor catches your eye a perfect blend of modern chic and rustic charm. The staff were nothing short of amazing incredibly welcoming, friendly, accommodating. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a meal, they make you feel right at home. The service was prompt without feeling rushed, and every interaction felt genuinely thoughtful. The food and drinks were a delight too beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. You can tell a lot of care goes into the menu. If you’re in Leeds, Mrs Artha’s Café is an absolute must-visit. A stunning spot with top-notch service to match highly recommend!

We had went to Mrs Atha's for breakfast, we were visiting Leeds from Nottingham. The food was so good, when I go back to Leeds will definitely return and will recommend to friends and family. Lovely food on the menu lots to choose from. The drinks we chose english breakfast tea and it was tea leaves it was so nice such a difference to using bags. Nice quite little restaurant 👌 😀

My go-to independent cafe in Leeds. We got the sweet and savoury pancakes which were both delish. Highly recommend this place, the manager/owner is always lovely and a laugh.

My favourite spot for coffee and breakfast. Always of a high quality. I think it has the nicest decor compared to any other cafe in city center. Its lowly lit and relaxing. It's priced quite cheap for what it is. No frills, but friendly service which is perfect for me. This isnt America!

The shop has a very nice hipster vibe with all the jazz. Its interior is authentic. The brewing equipment looks amazing and all the guys clearly knows what a good coffee is. We have visited as a group and had many coffees and types of coffees. I had a latte that was very delicious, you definitely don’t need sugar in it. The cakes and food looked yummy too, but haven’t tried it. The toilets look cool. You need to find a parking lot close by as the place hasn’t got its own parking.

Great place, very chill and service is top tier. The guys are very attentive and accommodating. Space is limited but not uncomfortably so. Eggs Benedict were some of the best I've seen, and the taste was almost perfect, though I'd have preferred fried tomatoes as a topping as fresh out the fridge made the food too cold. Coffee was delicious, id asked for vanilla syrup which wasn't available, but was promised that the blend had a sweet kick to it anyway - it absolutely did g and I've never tasted coffee like it before, which was great.

We had an extremely disappointing meal and manager response at LS6 Cafe and will not be returning. We travelled 30 miles to Leeds to have a special Eid family breakfast at this cafe due to the previous excellent reviews. The setting and the service from the staff was very good. We were seated quickly and they turned the (loud) music down upon request. We left a 20% tip for them at the end. Everything else was poor. As you can see from the pictures, the food was of an extremely poor standard. The first time the French toast came it was burnt. The service staff took it away upon request and the second French toast had not been made with egg, it tasted like hard cake and was swimming in syrup. My husband's churros were overdone and barely edible. My daughter's pancakes were also burnt and left swimming in syrup, presumably to mask the taste. Despite being summer there were no fresh fruit served with it. Berries and bananas are very common on pancake orders so I've no idea what the issue was here. The latte was bitter and we left it. The worst part of the experience was the attitude of the manager, an older gentlemen with silvery grey hair. Although he was polite he did nothing to rectify our complaints. Despite showing him the French toast clearly had not been made with egg, he said it was done the night before. He had no answer to us pointing out the burnt food or terrible latte. Normally we would expect the manager to refund the offending items but he took no such steps and we decided not to press the matter and left the cafe with the majority of the food uneaten. We left our usual 20% tip to the wait staff (£50 from a £41.65) as it was not their fault that the food was poor and the manager's response was brusque. The final nail in the coffin was my 6 year old daughter complaining of a tummy ache before we left the cafe due to the poor quality of the food. We are forced to leave 1 star by Google, but we would leave zero stars and will not be coming back. We enclose our photos and receipt as proof. We find Google reviews extremely helpful and would like to reciprocate to warn other potential customers of the issues you may have. Leeds is full of excellent restaurants and cafes, there is no need to put up with subpar food or manager service.

Delicious cooked breakfast and delicious pancakes! Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The coffee was tasty and the portions Sizes were generous. We would really recommend - especially the pancakes with blueberries and bananas which left us feeling victorious!

Came here to study during the holidays period, atmosphere is very cheerful and cozy, the staff there are super friendly and good at what they do, had a coffee late and loved the figure they drew on top of it, what I loved the most though, is their dogs policy, you can come with your dog and enjoy your drink, even put a treat bowl infront of the place! TLDR; if you want a cozy place to enjoy a a drink or a bite to eat, definitely recommend it.

We had brunch here and really enjoyed it. We didn't book in advance so were seated at an out-of-the-way high table but the food more than made up for it. The well-seasoned mushrooms were a great addition to the eggs Florentine. Service was efficient even though the place was quite busy.

First visit here today and I can’t believe I’ve left it so long. LS6 reminds me of some of my favourite Melbourne brunch spots, so this was a bit of a treat in the middle of Headingley. Service was friendly, and fast; and the brunch menu is really varied and has lots of modifications for dietary requirements. What I loved most is how easy it was to customise a menu item from the big list off ‘add on items’ - so many places overlook the need to add bacon or halloumi to your bacon or halloumi! The atmosphere has a really nice balance of casual and sophisticated. It’s perfect for a chat with friends in a booth, or there are some quieter tables towards the back. Water is available for every table, not enough places do this In England. Food was very tasty and well presented, though I felt the portioning of some of the items to be on the small side. That said, it was excellent quality and really good value for money. The coffee didn’t rock my world.

We only went here as it was the only cafe in the area open before 10 on a Sunday to soak up the nights before alcohol and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Plus the music was a bonus, led zeppelin and black sabbath 👌🏻

Ah, Skipton. Limited choice sometimes but really has some hidden gems. I am not one to leave reviews, but this really deserved it. Super welcoming, really cozy and the brunch was SO impressive. Service was speedy and food was faultless. We had the Classic Benedict, Turkish Eggs and the might brunch burger. 10/10 across the board. Isabel was attentive and so sweet. Thank you. Came here in August for Brunch. I ordered the fruit compote pancakes and lemongrass and ginger tea. We were seated immediately and were given consideration for our pram that we brought inside with us. The waitress was polite and friendly and quickly took our order. The food arrived quickly and was tasty and hot. Some of the fluffiest and tastiest pancakes I've ever had and the tea was lovely and aromatic too. When we asked for the bill it was promptly brought, clean tables and interior. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely incredible food! Hands down the best brunch that I have ever eaten. The Reuben Benedict stood out as an unusual dish that I’ve never seen before. I was not disappointed! Every mouthful was an array of flavour and a smorgasbord for your tastebuds.

First visit to this cafe & had brunch- 5 items of English breakfast. We hadn’t booked but were happy to wait for a table & it was totally worth it! The barn itself is beautiful, the food was delicious & reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

Let down by front of house. After going to the plant sale we had a bite to eat in the always busy restaurant. The bearded guy with glasses on front of house did not look up from his screen to acknowledge us and left us waiting for an awkward length of time. All it would take is a 'I'll just be a minute' or 'Please bear with me'. He had a very miserable and superior demeanour which continued throughout our stay (we were sat next to him). I commented 'Service with smile'. He did the same with everyone else. They arrived smiling and I could see their smile gradually fade as he looked at his screen and didn't make eye contact. The food was OK, large portion for sandwich and chips, but nothing extraordinary. It's a shame to mark down the service as the waiters were the opposite, smiling, attentive, warm. We changed our mind and decided not to buy from the shop after the experience we had. Change front of house and get someone who does customer service.

Greeted by friendly staff and was shown to our table. The cafe was busy and we had afternoon tea for two, this was delivered with great service and attentive staff. All the food and cakes were tasty with as much tea as you could drink. We will be back. Thank you.

A friend suggested we meet here for a business chat and a bite to eat, and I’m glad we did. The atmosphere was really relaxed and welcoming, with a nice mix of people of all ages. The place itself was clean and well looked after. There are quite a few younger staff members, so the service was a little on the slow and slightly unorganised side – nothing major, just had to ask twice for sugar and ketchup. That said, everyone was friendly and polite, which goes a long way. Food-wise, it was great. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. I’ve had slightly better at other farm-style spots, but that doesn’t take anything away from how enjoyable it was here. The highlight was definitely the dessert – the Guinness cake is an absolute must. For two meals, two desserts and two drinks, it came to around £60, which felt fair for the quality. All in all, a lovely visit and I’d be happy to return.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Not our first time visiting as we love to have a walk round the gardens but it was our first time eating here. Won’t be the last time, would highly recommend

We decided on breakfast here after our hotels restaurant was being refurbished. Set in the Queens Arcade initial impression was wow quirky and was excited to eat here. Now let me tell you, the staff were lovely and friendly and yes I should have spoken up at the time. It was freezing inside, my cappuccino was warm not hot. I ordered smashed avocado on toasted sour dough bread. It was the smallest portion I've ever had of this dish and I left hungry. The plate was stone cold making my food barely warm. Not a dish you could ask to warm up. My partner had the full English breakfast again only warm and on a stone cold plate. This place could be amazing with a few tweaks. Invest in heaters to warm where customers sit and warm your plates to help keep food warm. We will visit again and I hope I can update my review to be better.

Had a brilliant brunch at Olive & Rye in Leeds and can't recommend it enough. We ordered the Reuben Benedict and the Hash Brown Benedict – both were absolutely spot on. The flavours were rich and well-balanced, and the portions generous without being over the top. The Reuben had just the right amount of saltiness from the pastrami, and the hash brown version was wonderfully crispy and satisfying. To drink, we had a latte and a matcha latte, both of which were lovely – smooth, well made, and served at the perfect temperature. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service friendly without being intrusive. Overall, a top-notch experience – definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.

Olive & Rye is a lovely little cafe with friendly staff, plenty of vegetarian and vegan options and a great selection of cakes. Had a very nice meal out with my family here.

We were looked after; outside tables were a bit chilly but blankets were provided and staff moved us inside as soon as a table came free. Good menu choice and really nice food. Recommend Reuben Benedict, an excellent combo of pastrami, pickle and Eggs Benedict.

Were hungry in Leeds so popped in here. Good food, ok pricing, very good service and the food came very fast. It was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed it. Unfortunately there is no phone signal in the shop and we were late for a meeting so had to leave, but their bill gives you discount to a nearby Olive and Thai shop. Would like to commend the owners and servers for being so pleasant and friendly and checking up on customers. Has outdoor seating so can be wheelchair accessible.

Returned back Olive and Rye after a while. Still great as usual. We had a vegetarian full english breakfast which is really big portion and nice of course. Coffee was impressed too. Staff was friendly and attentive, Simran and Mo were great host ✨🫶🏻💕A sunday well spent 🥰

A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home 🇮🇹🍷🍕 I don’t say this lightly: I had the best pizza of my life here. Perfectly crisp base, rich tomato sauce, and toppings that tasted like they were handpicked in the Italian countryside. Paired with a glass of beautifully balanced wine, it was pure joy from the first bite to the last. And just when I thought the meal couldn’t be topped, out came the dessert—a pasty shell filled with velvety pistachio ice cream. It was hands down the most memorable dessert I’ve had in years. A true showstopper. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of charm. It feels more like being invited into someone’s home than dining out. The lady owner is an absolute delight—gracious, passionate, and clearly pours her heart into every detail. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food served with love, this place is a must. I’ll be dreaming about that pizza and pistachio dessert for a long time.

Good food in a quirky building. Prices are cheaper thsn equivalent chain restaurants. Good sized pizzas and pasta. Good attentive service. Booking is essential. As it is a small venue with separate rooms it doesn't get too noisy.

I came here with my family, and we all had a wonderful time. The menu had something for everyone, and even the kids loved their meals. Great spot for family dinners!

We were seated upstairs in a quaint little room. Food was absolutely divine and we loved it. We had garlic mushrooms king prawns and a garlic bread pizza for starters then mains was lasagne, lobster ravioli with king prawns, margarita pizza with blue cheese, and the king prawn linguine ( without chilli) 😋. Although service was a little slow it did give us more time to rest between courses. Would definitely recommend it and look forward to going back one day soon.

Met friends for breakfast. We were a large ISH group so they sat us all in the back room. It's very small but has plenty of tables. The breakfast menu was limited but FANTASTIC! Portion sizes were generous, food was delicious and the service was perfection. We had the most loveliest server, she was only a young girl but she was chatty, on point and very good! What a superb first experience, I will be returning

Dog friendly which is great. The food looked good. Chocolate brownie a little too rich for my liking. Service- they had a party upstairs which left ordinary customers downstairs with long wait one table for up and left.

Have driven past Coopers many times but the other day decided to go for an early breakfast. It was delicious and great value. We went in before 9am and so the lady cooking did everything single handedly - super efficient. I had the full English which was delicious. Would have liked to try her home made waffles but that will be for next time! Highly recommend popping into Coopers for breakfast or lunch.

I love the coffee here but this time I decided to take my little boy and eat here. On arrival the staff were lovely and took good care of us. They offered my boy some marshmallows whilst we waited. The food is so nice. Tasty sandwiches and well cooked eggs. You can tell quality ingredients are used along with care and attention to presentation. I'm pleased to see a kids menu that isn't overpriced. Some 3 year olds don't eat a great deal so when we saw a sandwich offered with fruit it was a winner

Beautifully presented food that tasted as good as it looked. We were able to find something to suit everyone. The sharing platter was full of delicious mini bites including olives, hummus, meats, bread and salad and the lamb parties on flatbreads with fresh tzatziki were delicious.

Omgm! Absolutely love it here, so much so we made a special effort to track it down whilst on a visit from Stoke on Trent to Skipton, visiting the Yarndale wool festival. The staff were all lovely and it was made all the more lovely as Attic24's studio was open for viewing. Generous portions of cake, 2cup teapots and a fantastic selection of background music. I would definitely recommend and definitely revisit.

Great loose leaf tea & lots of it, the bread was lovely & plenty of filling on the flavourful sandwiches. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, very helpful & generous with portions, the cream scone was massive and very light, best cafe in Skipton (& we’ve tried quite a few 😊)

Just incredible! Such a good find. The prices are so reasonable which was one of the reasons we went. Great little location with seating upstairs and down. The staff were kind, fun and really helpful. Had the salad and friend had the massive breakfast which was huge - see photos - but loved it. Would highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Very impressed. Great little riverside café. Very busy and popular with the construction workers. Has some outdoor seating riverside in the alley, just down from all the colourful murals. Seating on two floors and loo is downstairs as well. Very efficient team of staff, prompt, professional service, knowledgeable about menu and friendly. Open 7 days a week. Vegetarian options available. I had an excellent Greek salad from the reasonably priced menu. Good portion. I also had a stonking red velvet cake for £2.95. Deffo recommend this place and will revisit. Thank you for looking after me.

On arrival, it was quiet. The place is clean and nicely set out. The breakfast menu had some good choices. We had the Full English breakfast and a bacon sausage and mushroom sandwich with a latte. (Please see photos attached) The coffee was very nice. The service was fairly quick, and the waiter was polite. It was well presented, and the food was decent. Compared to other places I've been to, it wasn't amazing, but it was more than good enough. They aren't very giving with the butter, though, so don't be afraid to ask for more. I think this place is more on the expensive side. Would come here again.

Delighted to have this restaurant/cafe recommended to us. We received good service, nice, food served quickly. We had the halloumi starter. My friend was amazed at the size of the breaded Halloumi and chunky chips. Table red wine was nice. The mains were very tasty. Price was good - we took advantage of the early bird deal. It was a good experience. Food was awesome. Service was also good. We order Wraps, Cappuccino, Nachos and Coffee Buttercream cake. Flavors of wraps was very hot and flavorful. The cake was very tempting taste of coffee. I felt the problem in Nachos(not recommended). I didn't like the sauce(dip), the chips was good.

I’ve visited this restaurant a few times now, and each experience has been fantastic. The food is always tasty, and the service is consistently great. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality you get. On my most recent visit, my steak arrived overcooked, but the waitress handled it perfectly—they quickly took it back and returned it cooked to perfection. It’s clear they take pride in their food and service, and I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Been going here for years and always good however there’s one waitress on this Sunday afternoon who is particularly surly and blunt, would be good to have a smile and friendly welcome, she seems to let the team down. Otherwise great place with great food

Been here a few times now. Came today for Mothering Sunday breakfast. Shakshuka was really fresh and tasty. Others had omelettes and full English. All really lovely, and great service. Not rushed and no long waits. Great place.

Massive praises for the most dog friendly place ever! Been here twice recently & both times the dogs have been given as good a meal as I have had, on the house! There are also dog treats on the bar & water has been provided for them both times without me having to asking. The food itself is very tasty, with the breakfast butty being a winner I imagine at such great value. The homemade bread is lovely & different however I do think the rest of the sandwiches being over double the cost of the breakfast butty is a bit much... which is why I never order them I think. The vibe is very relaxed which I like with lots of different options for seating. Just be mindful that the kitchen is not open on certain days of the week, if you're going for food. Service is friendly, kind, quick & helpful. Thank you, we'll be back for sure!

We loved having lunch here! It’s a very dog friendly cafe! Plenty of owners bringing their pooches for coffee. They have a Human menu and Doggie menu! Our dog loved her biscuit!! Plenty of seats. Plus you can grab a towel for your dog. They offer dog water bowls! The staff were friendly and the food was delicious!

Absolutely loved it here! Brought my frenchie out for lunch and it was fab for both her and her humans! We sat downstairs and it was a fabulous space. The food was delicious & service great. Whilst lovely upstairs, it is quite small so may have been a bit of a challenge to contain my frenchies excitement! But will definitely be back.

We’ve visited Kibble a few times and it’s always got the best drinks and cakes! Unique options for coffee including crème egg and hot cross buns flavours at the movement. Plus the best array of dog friendly options too! The staff are friendly. Service a little slower on ur recent visit than previous ones but we weren’t in a hurry. The dogs love it in there and loved their pupspressos ☕️

Cozy place for fresh coffee and food! Spacious but with lots of seats both inside and out. Different brunch menus then your typical 'go to' might serve but very tasty and would definitely eat again. Jake was very attentive to our baby and made everyone feel welcome. I had the salt and pepper hash with extra halloumi (see picture) with an iced speciality coffee

I recently visited Mill Kitchen in Farsley and was absolutely blown away! I had two slices of sourdough topped with homemade beans, cheddar cheese and spring onion the flavours were amazing, and the sourdough was incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff were also very welcoming. I’d love to go back and try some of their breakfast and brunch dishes as they looked really tasty.

There's a good brunch range and bakery and the cafe is lovely and light inside. However for me, the prices are quite expensive for the size of portion. I got one slice of sourdough with some brie and grapes on it and it cost me £9.50. Also, when it's busy, it's almost impossible to have a conversation without shouting as it's so noisy inside. Like so many places these days, there are zero sound absorption materials or soft furnishings, so not a good place if you have someone in your group hard of hearing.

Fantastic place for lunch. The cafe is heaving so they are doing something right. We had a Moroccan dish and mushrooms on sourdough. 2 flat whites ( top marks 😀) Service was speedy but super friendly. We took away an enormous slab of carrot cake as well. Delicious. Keep doing what you're doing. Shame that I live in Northumberland or I'd be here every week!!

My partner and I went in for Sunday Brunch. Wonderful food, lovely smiling service, and a cute British small village feel. With a wide variety on the menu and drinks list, you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. Took a chance & tried the “Kim Chi pancakes” and they were FANTASTIC! Please tell the chef that was a wonderful and unique creation and tasted Excellent ! A great place to visit with friends, pop in for a quick bite to eat, stay and work from your laptop, bring your dog. Very friendly atmosphere.

the “truffle bacon mushroom HASH” was just a plate of halved new potatoes covered in truffle smelling grease, with 3 confetti sized bits of bacon for £11 - outrageous. Kids liked the pancakes, but 2 small pancakes for £5.50 I’d argue is over priced. good coffee

We visited this afternoon and received outstanding service from Laura. We tried the buttermilk chicken burger, which was perfectly crispy and delicious, and the BBQ pork on sourdough, which was juicy and full of smoky flavor. The name Tasty truly lives up to itself. They also offer a great variety of coffee options and a diverse menu to choose from.

Stopped off here for brunch before walking the dog at Roundhay Park. Delicious food, unique breakfast items. I went for the dirty hash. The paprika mayo goes so well with the eggs and hash brown. Bacon was nice and crispy. The Salt and Rosemary bread with the other breakfast was also delicious. Super dog friendly too! Highly recommend!

Went here a few months ago for breakfast but haven’t got round to reviewing Great coffee , nice atmosphere, bread quality was spot on but unfortunately the breakfast was dowsed in grease (especially the hash browns) and everything looked and tasted as if had been re heated. The fried egg had a skin developing over the yolk. This place gives great first impressions so maybe they were just having an off day?

Popped in for take away lunch. The staff were very friendly and attentive, a nice atmosphere and my iced caramel latte was nice and tasty. Cons- I ordered a grilled cheese which cost £7.25 and it was tiny, no sides or anything with it, over priced for what you get. I actually ended up not eating it as the bread was so hard around the edge it was uncomfortable to eat. Such a shame as the venue was nice.

We sat outside which is pleasant but it is on a main road. warm inside seating is available.We had carrot cake and a large latte. The carrot cake was reasonable but not memorable It was not particularly tasty and possibly too much cream. The Latte was rather weak from the coffee flavour point of view. The service was very friendly and efficient. summary not a bad place to stop but not exciting. The cost was £8.70

One of the worst cafe’s I’ve ever been to, the breakfast was overpriced for what we received. The eggs and bread were okay, but asides from that we waited 20/25 minutes for our food which was ridiculous. the bacon and sausages were very uncooked and pink, the mushrooms looked like they’d be in the frying pan for hours and weren’t very pleasant to eat. I only ate the food as my partner said it was fine and I just wasted my money and in this cost of living crisis, it’s not affordable to do so, but I knew it was NOT cooked well and now I’m starting to feel unwell and I do think it was because of this. The toilets were not up to a clean standard in my eyes and had stuff dripping from the taps and the soap dispenser, it was all absolutely gross Just appalled at the food and the service. The only thing that made me happy was see the dogs on the wall

I can't get enough of this place. The staff are so welcoming - I'm usually in on a weekend if I come back to visit my parents in Leeds. The coffee is the highlight for me, I used to work in speciality coffee and this place serves some damn good coffee! Also the food is sublime. The sweet potato stack and the 'T2'... highly recommended!

Drinks are to die for, massive selection and food was fab as well. Lots of veggie options. My partner got a classic breakfast sandwich and I got a veggie mushroom and spinach toastie which was gorgeous. All really reasonably priced too!!

We visited The Flip Side in Skipton for breakfast and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, and the staff are really friendly. We ordered cappuccino, a vanilla milkshake topped with cream, and some savoury crêpes with salad – everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The crêpes were full of flavour and felt authentic, and the milkshake was a real treat. A perfect spot to start our city break in Skipton – highly recommended!

We just popped in for a hot drink on a cold day. Briefly tempted by the cakes, which looked gorgeous. We eventually caved in and got a couple of toasted teacakes. The cafe is deceptively large. There are a couple of steps to go up to get to the back of the cafe and the toilets. Very clean throughout. Happy, smiling staff.

This little place was a revelation. Vegan, gluten free and dog friendly. The staff were really helpful, service was quick and portion size is good. All the crepes are naturally gluten free and vegan…. Winner!!!

First and foremost, the food was amazing!! We all had pancakes, and for the first time, I can truly say it was so light and fluffy. Not one of us felt stuffed and bloated afterwards. Even though there was plenty of food! There is the ability of walk-ins and bookings! And in not being able to sit you straight away, they make sure you're seated and welcomed at the time given to come back. The only downside which is very slight. Is one of the waitresses doesn't give the impression of wanting to be there 🤔 Everyone else is lovely and pleasant! There are some photos we have taken, but we dived right in to the food lol. Give it a try!

Delicious and large crepes- will keep you full for half the day! The savory crepe made with buckwheat which is delicious Good hot and cold drinks selection including milkshakes and bubble tea. Thoroughly recommend and the place fills up quickly

My favorite place in Chapel Allerton! Brunch Burrito is absolutely delicious. The soup of the day is frequently changed- makes me want to come back. Staffs are always friendly as well.

Called in for a coffee and really enjoyed the ambience of this cute little cafe, in the bustling metropolis of Chapel A high street. Lovely brunch here. Sat outside and ordered the brunch stack. All the flavours worked great together, really tasty. Poached egg was undercooked though, globby whites needed another minute or two. Nice coffee. Partner got bacon sarnie, said it was simple and nice. Picked up a scotch egg, nice but the egg was hard boiled not runny. Also picked up some coffee beans, not tried them yet though. The area might be a bit overwhelming for some. Chapel A busy on a Saturday morning, beeping pedestrian crossing, smells from drains. Not cafes fault obviously!

I had a delicious full English breakfast this morning, and the service and food were both excellent. The food arrived promptly and was tasty and enjoyable. It was my first visit, and I’ll undoubtedly come back again!

Today, we visited the multi-flight cafe at Leeds Bradford Airport for the first time. We parked our car and enjoyed a captivating view of the airport and runway, witnessing the takeoff and landing of numerous aircraft. After approximately one hour, we decided to dine at the cafe. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, maintaining a warm and cheerful demeanour throughout our visit. I ordered a bacon and tomato sandwich, which was delectable and featured an abundance of bacon. All ingredients were of high quality, and the sandwich was freshly prepared by a skilled chef. My wife opted for a panini, which she thoroughly enjoyed. My son indulged in children’s sausage chips and beans, which were both hot and freshly cooked. The cafe offered a wide selection of dishes, all of which were served promptly and to our satisfaction. The walls of the cafe were adorned with photographs of aircraft, providing an additional visual attraction. While the staff were exceptional, I would like to mention that parking is charged at £2 per hour. This fee is reasonable considering the exceptional view of the runway. One minor inconvenience to be aware of is that parking payments are made via contactless payment. Overall, we had a wonderful two-hour stay at the cafe and plan to return frequently for plane spotting.

Great place to visit. I drove passed the entrance twice until I noticed the sign near a traffic barrier. You take a ticket and drive down to park by the cafe. There's a contactless ticket machine you have to use (£2.00) before you can leave. It is just near the cafe. Once in the cafe you are greeted with an amazing array of delicious cake. There is a good selection of breakfast and lunch hot food and their mocha coffees are wonderful. There are toilet facilities and outside seating to watch the planes land and take off. You are a little way from the main runway but the whole atmosphere of the location is great. Enjoy you trip to this slightly hidden little gem.

Took our son (who loves planes) and puppy here at the weekend. Your allowed dogs in the outdoor seating area, which was nicely kept and very dog friendly. Service and staff were great always on hand to help. Will definitely be going back.

Great little find for somewhere to stop for refreshments as well as watching the planes at the airport. Not the best view of the runway from the actual cafe but if you move slightly further towards the gates you can see great. Food lovely, staff also so lovely

During our visit (December 2022) it was nice and warm inside, assorted fresh cakes available, good coffee and breakfast /lunch, omelette, sandwiches and panini. Parking £2/hr.

The Multiflight Cafe Bar now closes at 3.30pm, not 4pm. The staff are friendly. The indoor seating is padded. The outdoor seating consists of picnic benches but they are an upmarket design and finish. The cafe itself is at ground level so there is not a really great view of the runway. And, on account of large hangers obscuring the view of the south eastern end of the runway, you can only see the north western end. So I would not score this very highly for plane enthusiasts. Nevertheless, nearby, along the access road, there is extensive parking at £2/hour (as at August 2022) from which you can see a little more of the runway. Along the access road there are numerous factory units served by noisy scrubbers, aka extraction fans. This means the whole area is polluted with a constant hum. A bottle of chilled sparkling mineral water was £1.50 in August 2022. That’s a fair price for a cafe to charge. Overall this is a worthwhile visit if you enjoy watching the comings and goings at a small international airport, and want a meal, cake or refreshments.

Large windows allow in plenty of natural light, and its location on a quiet street adds to the relaxed setting. Food and Drink There’s a wide range of food and coffee options available, offering the variety you’d expect from a good café. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available, which is a welcome touch. The prices for coffee are particularly reasonable, making it great value. Service The staff were kind and welcoming, striking a good balance between attentiveness and giving space. Their friendly manner made me feel at ease and added to the overall enjoyable experience. Overall A lovely place for a peaceful break or a catch-up with friends. I’d be happy to visit again.

Afternoon tea, normal finger sandwiches, sausage roll, lovely scones, v sweet cakes. Of all the afternoon teas we've been to, this has the least food for 2. V posh tea with timer to brew for perfect cuppa. Love the chilled rustic decor, comfy sofas. Can't fault service. Went at quiet time of the week. Would go again.

Stopped in here on a sunny Saturday and the atmosphere was nice and chill with the full length window open. Staff are super friendly and really helpful. We ordered the samosas but as we got there close to closing, we were told the last ones left were not perfect and offered us them smashed and mixed with the sauces and veg as a chaat, it was amazing! The eggs and salmon tasted super fresh and the daal was delicious. Loved the fact that on the menu needs I told you about all the ingredients came from. And of course we could not leave out the amazing chocolate flapjack 🤤🤤 and great drinks. Will certainly be returning and recommending.

If ever there is a friendly neighbourhood cafe where everyone knows your name and treats you like a rockstar, Cha Lounge is it. The cafe has eclectic and warm décor that makes you feel like you've transported into another world. The menu has such a nice variety, and they cater to a variety of dietary needs. You just need to tell them and they will personalise any dish for you. They also have an impressive amount of loose leaf chas to try, so there's every reason to keep going back for more. During lockdown, Cha Lounge came through in supporting the local community by organising fresh veg boxes and groceries for those who wanted to buy local or were sceptical of going to supermarkets. Later, they expanded to afternoon and cream tea sets that were perfect for date night or picnics. Once I bought a veg box from them, I couldn't go back to a box chain supermarket anymore. Dining-wise, I cannot recommend their brunch highly enough. You can taste that their ingredients are high quality and fresh. My niblings especially love Gemma's pancakes. We have also gone to a few of their curry nights which we thought was very delicious. If you're ever in Dock Street, do pop in and say hi, even if all you're getting is a takeaway cha.

I love a good quality breakfast and I’m so happy to have found this place. It’s now my goto place for breakfast when I’m in Leeds. Every item was cooked to perfection, those tomatoes were the most flavoursome tomatoes I’ve ever tasted. The scrambled egg was seasoned just right. The owner Mandeep so super friendly and welcoming. It’s clearly run by a team who are passionate about making good food and providing a nice place to eat it in. I would highly recommend this place to anyone stopping in Leeds. I will return again 100% Thanks again for a great breakfast.

The Cha Lounge is a new establishment based on healthy eating and ethical food sourcing. It is small, rustic and relaxing. There are hot and cold beverages, freshly prepared with no or minimal processing of ingredients. There are both hot and cold foods and plenty of vegetarian options. Many of the options are snack or street type foods especially Indian. The premises are very clean as are the washroom facilities. A great place to just drop in, enjoy a light meal and or a drink.

Nice place. Very friendly stuff. Good choice of food with many choices for vegan people. Soup of the day different everyday. The breakfast was not extraordinarily good, but it did its job. I like the way they manage the place, although their hours are difficult to follow. Good Wi-Fi connection and relaxed mood. I'll probably come back from time to time.

The staff were lovely and the space was clean. The vibe was good and the coffee was of a good high quality. The coffee shop also has a mini store area where you can purchase beans, T-shirts and some cool looking tote bags. The coffee is priced as a normal high quality coffee is nowadays, but the portion sizes are on the smaller size - (I had taken a couple sips out of my glass in the photo provided!). I tried the last slice of the tiramisu tart, which was a little different! Similar to a treacle tart with some cream on top. This was nice! Good location on the docks, near the library boat and the Royal Armouries.

I tried two different coffees here, both being made as a long black. They were the Astro house blend and a Mexican sierra Mazateca variety. They were both really nice. The house blend was chocolaty with a slight citrus angle, while the Mexican bean had a more apple and nutty taste. Both different but both very nice. Highly recommended.

If you’re a coffee lover then it is definitely a spot to visit. The ability to chose the blend for your coffee makes it very personal to your taste. Absolutely loved the food, very filling in a good way. Would recommend for a lovely afternoon lunch!

Lovely coffee shop. I drop by for breakfast as my first stop for the day trip in Leeds. I didnt know what to order, all menu pictures were all tempting but I went for Sweetcorn fritters which was delicious, good blend in those.

Great place to sit and have a coffee. Morning brunch has many great options options. In the evening there is a large vegan and vegetarian menu selection. Seems to be the place to be for Uni-students.

Ordered a vegan breakfast. I found it quite expensive for what I got and definitely was not worth the waiting time(45mn). No one apologised for how long it took and on top of that the waiter threw the cutlery on the table. The decor of this cafe is beautiful but the service is not amazing and could do so much better

Really nice, fresh food. Good taste cooked perfectly really enjoyable brunch. Would be nice to have a meat options. Coffee was nice and the staff were great, extremely friendly and helpful. There’s not loads of tables and some are usually reserved so worth checking before you plan a visit to not be disappointed.

This is a great place. I’ve been here a few times over the years, and it’s gone from strength to strength. I’m glad to see they’ve made a success out of it. The food here is nutritious and delicious, and the place has a definitely family and local feel. I’d especially recommend the shakshuka.They also do great plant based coffee and they are dog friendly. I’d definitely come back here.

Great little Vegetarian Cafe, friendly staff making you feel very welcome. Nice lunch time menu.Love the green cups, plates and bowls. Check out the cake and specials boards. I have a latte and a slice of carrot cake. Then had the butternut squash and carrot, and the garlic mushrooms on toast. Very nice seating inside and outside. The even have a jar of dog biscuits for dogs. How cool is that. Cafe has free Wi-Fi as well.

I had a lovely dinner with friends last week. I have coeliac disease and so gluten free. We let them know beforehand and they got me some gf pita in. It turned out there was only one thing on the menu I couldn't eat which is rare. The food is Tapas so we had a bit of everything. It was fantastic as was the wine. The owners were great too and very much looked after us. I thoroughly recommend.

Pastel de natas here are to die for. Tiramisu is good as well but omg the custard tarts!!!!! 😍 Always go back for them. Coffee is great as well but I'm not too big of a drinker so...the Iced Spanish I had was great though. Like a latte but sweeter and richer.

Today I visited this café and there was a small issue with the order and billing — I was given the wrong item. However, when I returned to speak with the staff, they handled it very professionally. One of the team members, who was slightly taller, had an amazing attitude. She was extremely polite, respectful, and solved the problem quickly without showing any sign of frustration. On the contrary, she was impressive in the way she dealt with the situation. Truly excellent service!

Amazing place, absolutely love and come back to. The focaccia sandwiches are great, the Mortadella could do with some pesto/more flavour but the Focaccia caprese is great. It’s always busy with a great atmosphere in a lovely little square with seating outside. Would recommend !!

I had a disappointing experience. The female staff questioned my friend for sitting inside even though she had clearly purchased a latte in her reusable cup. Later, I ordered a polo focaccia, which was priced at £6.50 on the display. However, I was charged £6.95. When I pointed it out, the same staff member simply said the listed price was incorrect—no apology, no refund of the difference. It’s shocking that customers are expected to bear the consequences of the pricing errors. I think I won’t be returning.

A cozy safe haven for coffee lovers and people who love to support small businesses. Coffee is always on point, with one of the foamiest cappuccinos I've ever had, and breakfast is lush. If you're absolutely starving and need something asap, I'd recommend getting one of their muffins or pastries while you wait. I wouldn't say it's a long wait but good things take time. If you order a full English, expect to wait 10 minutes or so but it will be worth it!!! Trust me - no tinned tomatoes here! Just don't fill up because the full English is huge! For a healthy appetite 😂 (I've come back time and time again for the full English, though I should really give the rest of the menu a try.) Gentleman behind the desk is always kind and ready to crack a joke, very friendly. All are welcome 💕 There's posters by the entrance for a diverse selection of events as well, and the music is always easygoing and timeless. They often have coffee+pastry/cake deals so keep an eye out for that too!

The food was fresh and lovely, and the owner was very kind! I had the chorizo, tomato and Brie toastie it was divine and we also got an all day bfast which was also an amazing portion for the price and was lovely. Will visit again if ever in town again and I would definitely recommend this place, the vibes were great 😊.

I had a breakfast and can say it was 10/10 not greasy like some cafes, I’ve also been for lunch the wonton noodle soup is a must try! It’s a daily sell out for a reason! Can get busy at times so there can be a wait, but it’s always worth it! Very friendly cafe owners!

The owner and staff are very friendly, I went for the all day breakfast. Best full English I have had in leeds for the price. Was £9 for a proper full English with two of everything (toast, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, egg etc)

We had a lunchtime sitting on Saturday 20th December. Despite being busy, the service from Ross C was very good and friendly. Food was hot and well cooked. Good festive atmosphere.

It was bloody lovely, Katie was absolutely incredible, asked about our food, gave us time for our drinks, waited patiently for all 5 of us to think and order, and was incredibly friendly all day. We loved her and would love to be served by her next time. The food was delicious however there wasn’t a variety of options for sides as usual, not to mention one of the sides was quite cold under the heaters. The atmosphere was great although i have to say it lacked in space. Other than that, we loved it. Thank you very much once again to Katie and the manager on duty Richard.

Visited for bank holiday, looked like they had a very busy morning with breakfast. Didn't book but was seated in a nice location viewing the food area. Food was super fresh and the lamb was absolutely spot on. Attentive staff and friendly

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the manager, Ross, who made us feel at home. Our server, Paul, provided excellent service throughout the meal—he frequently checked in to make sure everything was to our liking and that we were enjoying our food. Truly appreciated!

The food at this particular Toby Carvery was great. The company i had during our meal also agreed. The service from Katie was great, she only came to the table once to ask us how the food was, and that was enough. Very friendly spoken. The Carver who on shift, Ross W accommodated to change the meat as it was dry and i appreciate that. As this made the meal much more tastfull. As for the atmosphere, the place is very calm. The seating arrangements could of been more thought out. As we had our meal around 3pm, the place had plenty of room for new comers to sit and enjoy themselves, but somehow ended up being cramped up. I would advise not to take the first seating option they provide, instead tell them what you prefer and hopefully they can provide.

As a former non-executive director, CEO and independent chair for AUAG I believe I’m well qualified to say the service and warmth that I receive at the Queens is exemplary. Manager always greets you warmly, it’s so professional and so diligent I cannot say any more than five star plus Customer Services. It is very important when regulars come to a pub, they have felt to be treated with respect and kindness from Neil. I find the quality of food excellent warm pot and the staff are always keen to please you with a can-do approach. I really appreciate quality staff and team leadership shown by Neil in all he does, excellent customer conduct and above all being welcome to a local pub that I’ve spent over 25 years. I highly recommend this place on the base excellent service and the goodwill I always get from the Queen. Having, undertaken previously the NHS assurance and customer surveys, changes in services , custom experience, for the council extending to the social caare and transport engagement , I am firmly aware of how staff should be - at the NHS as a board member leader and voluntary sector CEO it gives me a great pleasure in knowing quality stuff to exist in the current climate we live in seeing and observing this. Very dissapointing for the price. The soup was watery, the avocado toast tasted like morrison’s guacamole and had really tastless tomatoes and peopers on top not cooked properly. The haloumi chicken wrap was alright but again no taste no condiments . Only good thing was the freshly squeezed orange juice. If you want a drink and to enjoy the view thats fine but dont get food from here

We visited the Lakeside Café at Roundhay Park and was really disappointed. The café wasn’t busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff to cover the tables, yet we were sat around messy uncleared tables for over 45 minutes. We ordered 2 cappuccinos, a halloumi wrap, and a chilli con carne jacket potato, which came to around £29. The coffees were lovely which was probably the only highlight. Unfortunately, the food was very poor. My jacket potato was plain, dry, and served without butter. The chilli on top was lukewarm, and when I mentioned this to the server, I said it wasn’t something I’d even serve to my dog. For the price, you’d expect at least some cheese or sour cream, but we were told we’d need to pay extra for those. My boyfriend’s halloumi wrap was just as underwhelming, plain and lacking flavour, though he didn’t send it back. I was offered a replacement and chose the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, which was very basic. The toilets also had a strong smell of urine, which made using them unpleasant. The scenery around the café is stunning, but sadly the food and service were a real let down.

Just paid £36 for avocado and poached eggs…the worst avocado I’ve ever eaten and the eggs were watery and cold. The pancakes are £6.50 for 2 tiny pancakes with 4 pieces of fruit, also cold. We sat outside and had to self serve - it was freezing and no lights on. It’s just old and dirty and very worn! It shouldn’t be that hard to make half decent food.

I ordered a cappuccino and a slice of their homemade cake—both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was rich and smooth, and the cake was fresh and full of flavor. They clearly care about quality and presentation. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to work or a relaxing place to catch up with friends, this cafe is perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Obviously a great location and view, but it’s always been bobby basic food, which I don’t mind but some will. The service however isn’t great, they always seem to be behind of how busy it is at any moment, whether it’s super busy or not. They don’t really seem to know what they are doing. Got a full English today that was missing the sausage, had to ask for it, they asked if we wanted sugar with our tea, we said yes then they just didn’t bring it… etc There’s a queue where it says you have to wait to be seated and it always gets ignored for ages even when there’s plenty of seats, and they have an ‘order here’ place anyway so what’s the point…? Basically if they just got organised it would be a solid 4 out of 5 café, but as it is they’re always too chaotic…

The place is amazing, special thanks to Evea ( I hope this is the correct spelling 🥹), she is adorable, helpful and was really patient with my order I ordered scones with jam and cream and coffee, 10/10 ❤️

The cafe is in a lovely setting next to a lake full of swans, geese ducks etc with parakeets flying over head surrounded by beautiful old trees. It is expensive but good quality. Disabled access is good with plenty of room between tables. There's also a toilet for the disabled. Dogs are allowed on the outside veranda.

We really liked this place. A little bit quirky in a good way. Decent selection of draughts, good music in the background so you can still chat (yes, I'm that old) and friendly staff. Customers of all ages there. We went both nights we were staying in Leeds and would definitely go again.

Went for happy hour drinks. It was really nice that there were options for happy hour wine (not just a single house red/house white as it is some other places). White options were pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc which we were quite pleased about. The grilled cheese was maybe the best sandwich I've ever had! Delicious! Lovely quirky atmosphere too. The music got a little too loud for us as it got later into the evening but that's not really a problem, just preference. Will definitely go back

Fantastic sense of community in here, reminding me of someplace you might find down in Brighton. The customer service was fantastic and laid back, with the man behind the bar giving us a taster of the blueberry cider before we bought any. I can confirm it was very delicious, although I’m not convinced they didn’t sacrifice Papa Smurf to get that vibrant colour.

Walked in at noon just looking for a toilet but we stayed because the vibe was great, the place is beautiful, the alcoholic hot drinks are awesome and the bartender was more than nice to us. Little bit cold but I'm not English so that's understandable

Great spot for breakfast. One of the best bagels I've had for a long time. Bread was really fresh, fillings were excellent as well, and really good quality coffee. Highly recommended.

The food here was lovely- both pastries were incredible (the almond croissant and the cinnamon bun). Staff were also friendly. However, the matcha was quite bitty and I had pieces of unmixed power on the side of the glass. Otherwise, the experience was very pleasant and would come back :)

I've been dying to come here after multiple rave reviews from friends and I'm so glad I did! The coffee was great, the food was gorgeous, and the atmosphere was so lovely I could have stayed and worked from here all day. Its so much bigger inside than I expected, the staff were friendly, quick, and gave the place a lively happy feeling about it. The vegan pastrami sandwich was amazing and I can't wait to try the other options as I was chuffed to see so many. Overall just a really nice cosy and comfy place to hang out or work

Very nice little coffee shop. We had the almond crossiant and cinnamon bun which were both really good. I had a matcha which looked great but tasted a bit bitty as they hadn't fully mixed the matcha powder in. Not fair to judge them on one drink though, I'm sure their coffee is good. Would recommend visiting.

Came here for an almond croissant, but unfortunately they'd run out by the time we got there (~11am Saturday). Instead we got a regular croissant and a pan au chocolate. Both were lovely. We took them to-go. Next time we will arrive earlier and try for the almond croissant again (I'm on a quest to find my favourite almond croissant), and we need to try the coffee, too!

Amazing place to visit. The greenhouse is incredible to see. The nursery is nice too, though a little smaller than I thought it was going to be. Small selection, but nice still. Would be ace to be able to see in the greenhouse too. The kids play area looked really good too. Worth a day out.

Fantastic place to bring kids. It's a very well maintained playground with lots to do for children of all ages and it's free! The Potting Shed Cafe is reasonably priced. We got two drinks for £4.

A bright and modern garden centre with average priced sweets, drinks and food, for such a place. Gardening items are a little on the expensive side. Best area around to entertain young children with very safe spaces climbing, sand pit, swings etc. Staff are friendly and approachable.

First time visit. Best guess is that the place is under poor and a bit neurotic management. Loads of warning signs everywhere telling you what not to do, if one sign isn't enough, then there are two saying the same thing. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting - flooded, overflowing bins, couldn't be bothered to put toilet rolls inside the holders, every surface dirty. Cafe offering the same as everywhere, expensive and poor quality coffee. Shopping range is quite limited and missing prices/signage. Lots of items look like they've been sitting in a storage for years. The majority of plants outside looked very sad. They do have a lovely playground though which clearly costs them lots of money and produces little return as families grab a coffee or two and use the playground for hours. Someone hadn't thought this business model through very well so not sure how long it will last. Overall a strange place. Note - if you sit upstairs in the cafe, you'll overheat in 5mins even on a cool day because it's literally a greenhouse.

Garden centre is nice but come here more for the kids to enjoy the newly fitted playground which has a very good variety of swings, slides, climbing things for children. Bonus is that there is a bike/scooter lane to allow small kids to cycle round. Plenty of table and benches too. Parking is plentiful. Overall definitely worth a visit and it's free too!
